Ep. 2516 - Everything We Know About the FlyDubai Hijacking Attempt

The provided text is a transcript of "The Michael Knowles Show," covering several major topics. The primary focus is a foiled terrorist attack on a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. An Omani co-pilot stabbed the captain and attempted to crash the plane, which was carrying mostly Israeli passengers. The attack was heroically stopped by passengers, some with military backgrounds, who subdued the attacker and helped land the plane safely in Saudi Arabia. The host, Michael Knowles, criticizes the media for initially downplaying the event as an "altercation." The second major segment focuses on New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani's new initiative to combat anti-Semitism. Knowles dismisses the plan as a sham, arguing that Mamdani is a prolific spreader of anti-Semitism himself, primarily through his anti-Israel rhetoric. Knowles contends that Mamdani's plan ignores attacks on Jews by his political allies and that its funding is inadequate. He also defines anti-Semitism as a conspiracy theory about Jewish power, arguing it is inseparable from anti-Zionism. The transcript also includes segments on a Senate hearing with former Special Counsel Jack Smith, where he was questioned about his investigation of Donald Trump, and commentary on a controversial Cornell University rape case and the Lindsay Clancy murder trial. The show concludes with advertisements and a promotion for a Daily Wire membership.

Speaker 1So, according to the New York Times, that's what an altercation looks like. That's footage from a fly Dubai flight from the UAE to Israel, to Tel Aviv. And people are screaming because an Omani co-pilot stabbed the pilot. And then tried to fly the plane directly into the ground. Killing everyone. All 174 people, including 27 kids, mostly Israeli, aboard. You know, like, an altercation. Okay, so I want to give you all the latest breaking news on what is a shocking and actually heroic story. A foiled terrorist attack aboard a fly Dubai flight. So, I have to say, the way this unfolded in real time was kind of astonishing. So, for people who were sort of watching X, what was first reported is that there was a plane from Dubai to Tel Aviv. And that the transponder had been hit, issuing a squawk 7700, which is a general emergency. And then, a few minutes later, the alert was switched to a code for unlawful interference. Which is used to describe jeopardization of safety of the airplane. Like a hijacking or a hostage taking. And everybody freaked out. And then, pretty quickly, there were reports that emerged that, basically, the pilots probably just got in a fight and then they had to land. You know, like an altercation. Well, as it turns out, what actually happened is that a couple of hours into the flight between Dubai and Tel Aviv, the Omani pilot, the co-pilot, stabbed the pilot, who's Indian, repeatedly. And tried to take control of the plane and then drive it directly into the ground. What you're watching in that video is people on board screaming as the plane plummeted more than 1,400 feet in under 30 seconds. So, Fly Dubai didn't explain what happened. Originally, on the flight, FZ-1073, according to the Wall Street Journal. They only said it experienced an incident while en route. The plane ended up landing in Tabuk in Western Saudi Arabia. All the passengers were safe and accounted for. But, this story is astonishing. According to senior Israeli officials, there were 170 passengers on board. 166 were Israeli citizens. Dubai and Israel have very, very warm relations ever since the Abraham Accords. Now, according to. Israeli law, there is no treaty between Oman and Israel allowing for Omani citizens to fly planes into Israel. And so, this means, very likely, that the Omani pilot held dual citizenship with the UAE. That would have allowed him to board the flight to Israel. He has worked for the airline for less than a year. Israel Hayom, which is a newspaper in Israel, reports the off-duty pilot who initiated the rescue is from Fiji. A severely wounded captain hails from India. The attacker is an Omani national. Okay, so, what exactly happened? Let's start here. Apparently, this is a full-fledged terror attack, according to Amit Sehgal, who reports for Channel 12 and has been on the program as a guest before. It appears the co-pilot repeatedly stabbed at the captain. So, the Omani co-pilot stabbed the captain, who is from India. And then, once the attack began, somehow, the pilot must have hit the emergency button and somehow opened the cockpit door. And crew members and passengers, mostly passengers, managed to break through the cockpit door and subdue the attacker. The plane filled with Israelis. That means that a huge number of the Israeli men on the plane presumably have military training and background. And so, they broke through the door and they subdued the Omani pilot, who is attempting to crash the plane into the ground. Severe damage, by the way, did happen to the tail of the plane. There was a reserve pilot on board who apparently was from Fiji. And he was ushered into the cockpit by the passengers, protected by the passengers. Meanwhile, the pilot, who had been stabbed. He's in critical condition. was being stabilized by one of the passengers on the plane. Here is some video, pretty graphic, of the reported pilot who was stabbed. You can see there's blood everywhere. These are severe wounds.
Speaker 5You know, all credit to the passengers
Speaker 1here, by the way. The passengers stormed the cockpit. They took out the pilot. And then, one of the. They took out the co-pilot. And then, doctors on board, at least one doctor, stabilized the pilot so that he survived until the plane landed. I mean, just a shocking story. One passenger named Ishak Lieber recorded a video for his family describing the incident as the plane was being landed. Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 6He was about to buy a flight.
Speaker 1We took control of the flight. There was an incident here with the crazy with a knife that stabbed the pilot. Ah! We just jumped in. And we got him off the plane.
Speaker 6A few guys, everything's under control. It looks like we've landed in Saudi Arabia. You can see I'm okay. That's it. We'll see what happens now.
Speaker 1A few more minutes and we'll be landing. The plane is neutralized. There's a passenger here who is seriously wounded. And apparently, another
Speaker 6passenger in front was slightly
Speaker 1wounded, but he managed to land the plane. There are two crew members inside the plane.
Speaker 6Made sure they locked the door. I love you all, and everything is okay.
Speaker 1Okay, well, as the plane landed, the passengers were singing and cheering. Here's what that looked like. You can hear what they're singing. There is Ami Seral Khai, which is a sort of chant about the Jewish nation surviving. Because this was an anti-Jewish terror attack, quite obviously. Now, again, this is not. It's shocking only in that it has been a long time since there was a hijacking like this. Obviously, the last major terrorist hijacking that was successful was 9-11. Although, there were prior hijackings before that in which the pilot flew the plane into the ground. Obviously, the Malaysian Airlines flight was a. Suicide by the pilot. We still don't know the political motivations there, but there have been. There have been flights in the past, including an Egypt Air flight that was crashed deliberately by the pilot. Egypt Air Flight 990. This is back in 1999, where the pilot drove the plane into the water. Okay, so what it appears here is that there was a terror attack. And the terror attack. Again, we're still finding out whether there was coordination with the Iranian government, for example. Because then, Iran and Oman have a. A messy alliance together. The Israeli government, for the moment, is treating it as a lone terror attack. Although, again, new information could easily come out. What was forestalled here, by the way, was not just a humanitarian disaster. The murder of 170 plus people, including 27 kids. What was prevented here was an international crisis. Because this would have been a crisis involving Oman, involving UAE, involving Israel, involving India, involving every country in the region, probably. And the passengers stood up and did this. Again, it is worth noting at this point, that the Israeli public is built different. It is built different. If you are on a plane and it is filled with 174 Israelis, the shot that you are going to end up with some people on the plane who are militarily competent is basically 100%. The shot that there will be a doctor on the plane is basically 100%. The shot that there will be people who are willing to aid and prepared to aid is going to be very, very, very high. And that is different from a lot of other countries. And the sort of durability and capability of the Israeli public is fairly incredible. Now, again, this is not totally unexpected. David Helfinger at the New York Times wrote of the possibility that this was terrorism by blaming the ministers in the government and the Israeli government who are right-wing. The far-right Israeli government ministers Bitzel Osmotrich and Itamar Ben-Gavir have now issued statements asserting the incident was a foiled terrorist attack. But Israeli security officials have not reached any conclusions about what led to the fight in the cockpit or what may have motivated whoever instigated it. It was a fight in a cockpit and the media coverage here is insane. Totally insane. According to the New York Times, I'm just going to point out some of their other headlines today. Fly Dubai flight to Tel Aviv issues distress signal before landing in Saudi Arabia. Oh, is that what happened? You know, they issued a distress signal like they had a mechanical failure. So they issued a distress signal. That wasn't their only amazing headline. How about this one? A plane flying from Dubai to Israel was diverted after an altercation between the pilot and co-pilot. Israeli officials said, oh, an altercation, an altercation. You know, like that time that OJ Simpson had an altercation with his ex-wife who ended up beheaded. You know, that's just an altercation. It's an altercation. Like these, the pretzels, the media will turn themselves into to pretend away what is clearly an act of Islamic terrorism. It's, it's insane. It's totally crazy. Yahoo, quote, why Dubai flight diverts to Saudi Arabia after reported fight between pilots. The BBC says, quote, passengers tell Israeli media a pilot was stabbed as flight to Tel Aviv plunged 17,000 feet and diverted to Saudi Arabia. An Israeli passenger on board says the crew asked for help and that the passengers helped tackle one of the pilots and tie him down. Oh, so who, who, who did it? I mean, it's, it's all, it's all, it's all a mystery. So mysterious. And the media at this point are not just terrible at their jobs. They're actively conspiring to cover up the actual story. If you can read the headline of a story and come away with precisely the opposite of the story, that is a failure of the media. Very obviously. Well, the passengers on the flight, Dubai flight finally went home. There's a bit of a hubbub in Saudi Arabia because the Saudis who still have not normalized with the Israelis were trying to ban an Israeli plane from landing to get their own people home, which again, ridiculous. With that said, the Israelis were able to get home. Obviously, there are a lot of questions still to be asked, including why the co-pilot wasn't flagged in advance. How did he end up flying the plane? Again, back in March, El Al ceased flights to UAE because they were concerned about security. Okay, Fly Dubai is a government-owned airline. So obviously, it's pretty embarrassing for the UAE government and the Emiratis are going to have to do a pretty severe investigation. And once again, all credit to the passengers on the plane to the pilot, who's a hero. Hero pilot. Fighting off the person trying to stab him to death, making sure the transponder got hit, making sure the door is open enough that he could be saved. A shocking act of terrorism averted will continue to bring you all the latest as it develops. First, a word from our sponsor. Okay, so this smarm bucket, Zoran Mamdani, mayor of New York City, an ardent advocate for every Jew-hating Islamist and Marxist on the planet, he now says he is going to defend the Jews of New York City. He has, he has announced a New York City initiative to combat anti-Semitism and he tweeted out, the Talmud teaches that anyone who sustains one soul has sustained an entire world. For generations, Jewish New Yorkers have sustained our city. Today, we are launching the first ever municipal strategy to combat anti-Semitism. Together, we will ensure Jewish New Yorkers are safe and celebrated. We will invest in their protection, their history, and their future. Our safety and our thriving are tied together. Mmm. This right here, this right here, this is some O.J. Simpson if I did it. That's what this is right here. So, what is in his proposal? Well, he announced it.
Speaker 7We are increasing hate crime prevention funding by $26 million or more than 800% from last year. This plan makes a $6.4 million investment in community-based organizations. Oh, community-based organizations. Whoa. All right. We are restarting the interagency security infrastructure that was disbanded in 2024 so that city agencies from the NYPD and the Department of Transportation can work together to identify threats and protect Jewish New Yorkers before a hate crime occurs.
Speaker 1Um, um, by identifying whom
Speaker 7precisely? goes beyond protection. Jewish New Yorkers should feel cherished and celebrated. Are you feeling cherished
Speaker 1and celebrated Jews in New York? Are you? From by this one? That's why we are investing millions in Jewish cultural centers. Nobody needs your public taxpayer dollars for this. No one needs that. Okay, that's, stop this crap. Okay, we don't need, no one needs that. Here is what Jews require. Being treated like all other Americans and not as the fond head of some gigantic conspiracy to run planet Earth, which is the anti-Semitism. Okay, but let's start with the actual terms of the proposal. So, first of all, it's kind of hilarious. Okay, the amount that he says is going to go toward supporting the physical security of synagogues is about a million bucks. One million dollars. I just want to say, by way of contrast, my personal security detail, thanks to the amount of hatred that I receive, costs probably twice that. My personal detail. Okay, not like what the synagogues near me are paying. How much does armed security cost for one synagogue for one day out of the week? Shabbat, which is when Jews typically go to synagogue or temple. Market pricing for commercial security providers in New York works out to about $1,200 for 24 hours. That sounds low to me, actually. And as far as how many synagogues there are in New York City, at least 500 established synagogues, and that does not include the 1,000-plus Jewish spaces like yeshivas or chabads. So, the total spent on security for like a single Shabbat in New York City is between $960,000 and $1.8 million. So, if you're talking about like defending all of the synagogues from anti-Semitic hate crimes for 52 Shabbats in the year, that's before you even talk about the high holidays, which is happening like right now. You're talking about almost $100 million annually. So, throwing money at things doesn't mean anything to Mamdani, but just if you're counting, just in case you're counting, $1 million, again, if his strategy to protect Jews from anti-Semitism is here is $600, and meanwhile, he just spreads anti-Semitic trash, that's not super helpful. The rest of the designated funds, $6.4 million, that's already part of the city's existing designation for nonprofits aimed at countering hate speech and supporting quote-unquote restorative justice, which again, has nothing to do with fighting anti-Semitism. All of this is just horse crap make-work left-wing programmatic spending. And again, that $7.4 million total is all part of the New York City $26 million investment in an office to prevent hate crimes. Now, I've said a thousand times I'm not a fan of the designation hate crime because it turns out that all crimes involve hate of one sort or another and hate crime as a designation tends to encroach on free speech concerns. But here's the thing, if you're actually going to have a hate crime office, probably you should be able to recognize what the hate is. No? Like, if you're part of anti-Semitism, you actually have to define and fight it. But not Zoran. head on over to Helix. Helix mattress, it's great because instead of you just going over to that big box store and then, you know, lying down on random mattress for five seconds and then buying it, and then you lie on that for, you know, the rest of your natural life while it gets lumpy and sags in the mouth. Again, I've done it for myself, done it for my parents, my in-laws, makes a great gift as well. Go check them out, helixsleep.com. For 27% offsite wide. So let's start with what antisemitism is. Again, just want to point out here. I don't tend to talk very much on the program about antisemitism because I think that this term has been so confused and misused and abused that nobody knows what it means anymore. So instead, we could theoretically just talk about people saying things that are evil and false. Okay, because antisemitism is a subset of evil and false. But just for the record, antisemitism is a subset of evil and false. Racism against Jews. It is a conspiracy theory about the world. It is in short, the conspiratorial belief that Jews control aspects of your life. They control world events, the Jews. And no, that story doesn't change if you just substitute the words Jewish state for the word Jews in this formulation. So if you say Israel as an entity is responsible for your economic problems. Israel as an entity is responsible for all of America's foreign policy. Okay, we know what you're saying. And this is a manipulative escape tactic. And it's obvious to anyone with half a brain. Again, none of that is to say, I'll say this 1000 times today, none of that is to say that criticism of Israel's government is somehow illegitimate. If you criticize Israel's government the same way that you criticize the British government or the French government or the German government, or the Saudi government, more power to you. Okay, but if you say, for example, that the NYPD's action is the fault of the IDF, that is a conspiracy theory about the power of the Jews in the world. Here's Mamdani saying that we have to make clear that when the food of the NYPD is on your neck, it's been laced by the ideas. Or say that as mayor, you claim that Jewish interest groups are manipulating New Yorkers against each other, that they are monsters for pushing a pro Israel viewpoint. They're not just groups that oppose your agenda, that they are conspiratorial and manipulating New Yorkers against one another. And they're monsters. Zor Mamdani has done that as well.
Speaker 7In a politics that for too long has asked working people to lower their expectations, to settle for less, to become satisfied with small victories while our wages grow even smaller and our costs grow even larger. To resign ourselves to resignation, to accept the unacceptable. In the wealthiest city, in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, we need not live in fear of monsters any longer.
Speaker 1Or say that you treat Israel's legitimate self-defense as genocide despite literally all available evidence. And let's say you do it on October 20th, 2023. You know, a week before Israel pursued its full-scale, ground-scale invasion of the Gaza Strip and the first gigantic wave of heavy airstrikes in Gaza. That's what he did October 20th, 2020. He was calling it a genocide then.
Speaker 8End the occupation! That means end the burning! That means end the siege! That means end the apartheid system of government! Do not bear witness! Do not bear witness! Take action! Take action!
Speaker 9Senator Gillibrand! Senator Gillibrand! Call for! Call for! Cease fire! Cease fire! Now! Now! Senator Gillibrand! Senator Gillibrand! Senator Gillibrand! You are! You are!
Speaker 8Complicit! Complicit! In the! In the! Genocide!
Speaker 1Genocide! That was like October 20th. Okay? So, um, or let's say that you spent most of your political career saying that you were fine with globalizing the Intifada, which is, you know, globalization of a terror campaign.
Speaker 7I know people for whom those things mean very different things. Um, and, and, you know, I'm, mean very different things. And to me, ultimately, what I hear in so many is a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights.
Speaker 1Or let's say that you cut rap videos on behalf of people who actually pass money to actual genocidal terrorist groups like Hamas. Okay, the Holy Land Five? Those are people who literally went to jail for funneling money to Hamas. Or let's say that you call for Israel to be destroyed while you have never called for the establishment of any Muslim state anywhere and you've marched in a celebration of the establishment of Pakistan, which is a Sharia law state.
Speaker 7And the idea of a Jewish state, Israel is a Jewish state that's in the charter. That's the way it is now. Do you support that? I've said time and again that I support the state of Israel as a state with equal rights. I believe that any state that has a Jewish state is the question. I think any state that privileges one religion over the other is one that I can't tell you I support, whether it be Israel or Saudi Arabia or anywhere else. And a lot of that comes back to a fundamental belief that we should all be considered equal no matter what our faith is.
Speaker 1Okay, he has literally never called for the end of quote-unquote apartheid in Saudi Arabia. That is not a thing. Now, these would all be good indicators of your conspiratorial anti-Semitism. Now again, you can be anti-Semitic in America. It's a free country. But it's Mamdani who is saying that his stated goal is combating anti-Semitism. So if you say that your goal is to combat a thing and actually you are a super spreader of the thing, no, I don't believe that your fake pasted on Joker grin is sincere. And that is Mamdani's goal. His actual goal is to pretend to fight hatred of Jews while spreading it. According to Mamdani, the only forms of anti-Semitism that are a problem are the ones that come from his political opponents who uses anti-Semitism as sort of a club to wield against anti-Semites of the right while hugging every anti-Semite of the left, including himself. So Mamdani's 33-page anti-Semitism report outlining how he will combat anti-Semitism mentions zero, zero attacks on Jews in New York. Zero. Now I know a lot of Jews in New York and let's just say it ain't that safe. The report does cite Charlottesville's 2017 Jews Will Not Replace Us Great Replacement Theory or the Tree of Life Synagogue attack or the white supremacist attack on the Chabad of Poway in California in 2019. But it doesn't say anything about what happened in New York and he's the mayor of New York. Well, why is he ignoring that? Well, because fighting anti-Semitism in New York would mean having to fight a lot of his own political allies. A few notable cases in New York within the past couple of years include Times Square gang assault on Joseph Borgen. Borgen was wearing a yarmulke. He was beaten by six assailants whose names were, you'll never be able to guess their religious affiliation, Wasim Awakte, Faisal Alezi, Mahmoud Moussa, Saddam Massoud Mohammed Othman, and Salim Salehman. It's a mystery wrapped in a conundrum, wrapped in an enigma. Or say the Canarsie Jewish High School vehicle ramming in which a driver, one Ashar Ali, swerved his vehicle onto the sidewalk outside of an Orthodox Jewish high school in Brooklyn while shouting slurs. Or say the Upper West Side stabbing where two Jews were stabbed outside a synagogue leaving services while the attacker shouted slurs. Okay, Mamdani is only going after anti-Semitism when it's coming from the white supremacists, but when it's his allies, he's promoting it, obviously. Because this is what he does. He spreads anti-Semitism far and wide by promoting hatred of Israel. Now, again, for the second time in the show, obligatory and obvious statement, not all criticism of the government of Israel or the state of Israel is anti-Semitic. But if you lie overtly about Israel, or if you hold it to standards, you hold no other state, that is an indicator of anti-Semitism. Mamdani's 33-page anti-Semitism report only mentions Israel two times, once in an introductory letter from Mamdani, where, he essentially acknowledges that Israel exists. But only in the context of saying that people should be able to criticize it. Quote, supporters of the Palestinian cause, including some progressive Jewish groups, say they should be free to critique Israel's conduct without being accused of anti-Semitism. Literally, no one has argued the opposite, but that's not what you're doing. Let's be clear that what actually is happening here is that Mamdani and his friends hope to fight anti-Semitism, while promoting hatred of Israel. There's only one way to do that. The only way to do that is by pretending that Jewishness and Israel are completely separable. You can just divide them from one another. Which is why, again, his plan to fight anti-Semitism does not actually countenance the chief source of anti-Semitism, which is the quote-unquote anti-Zionist movement. Now, again, if we're going to define terms, we should at this point say what Zionism is. Zionism in 1910 was the idea that there ought to be a Jewish state established. Zionism in 2026 means that you believe that the Jewish state should not be destroyed. And now people are trying to conflate those two definitions. They are not quite the same. You could have an honest debate in 1910 about whether a Jewish state should be established in Palestine, just as you could have an argument in 1910 about whether there should be a separation between Pakistan and India. But once places exist and once states exist, you're not arguing about whether they should be prospectively formed anymore. You're not arguing about whether they ought to be destroyed. This is like saying that you're a parent and your kids are grown and they're deciding whether to have kids and you have a discussion with them about whether they are in the right place to have kids. And you say, no, that is not anti the kid. That is a different thing than the kid is now 80 years old. And you say that we should stab that person in the face. Bit of a different argument. And so, again, what Mamdani and his friends are hoping to do is separate off the Jewish support for the existence of the state of Israel from Jewishness itself. And that is utterly unsupportable. And this is the offer. This is the perverse offer that Mamdani is trying to hand out. And some leftist Jews are taking, which we'll get to in a second. Essentially, the offer from Mamdani and his friends is the best way to fight anti-Semitism is to fight Jewishness. Mamdani wants people to believe that anti-Semitism is actually the highest form of anti-anti-Semitism. Hating Jewishness is the highest form of loving Jews. If the Jews would just stop being so Jewish, then Zoran Mamdani and his friends would love them and fight anti-Semitism, you see. If you just denounce Israel and say you lie about it, you say it commits genocide, it's an apartheid state, if you cheer its destruction, Zoran Mamdani and his friends will accept you as members of their group and say that you are no longer genocidal monsters. All you have to do is just stop with the Jewishness, right? You know, stop with the, like, association between being a Jew and Israel. This, by the way, is the equivalent of arguing that the best way to fight anti-Catholic hate is for Catholics to dissociate from the Vatican. You know, just leave the Pope behind and then we'll consider you a good Catholic. This is literally the position taken by full-scale anti-Westerners. Full-scale anti-Western anti-Semites like Abdul El-Sayed, where he will say the Jewishness has nothing to do with support for the existence of Israel. And Mamdani says this, too. I mean, he literally, in policy, says that if you attack Jews because they're pro-Israel, if you stand outside a synagogue and you shut it down because they're holding a pro-Israel event inside, that's not anti-Semitism. But if you attack a Jew who is not pro-Israel, presumably that would be. So as long as the Jews just aren't that Jewish, it's totally fine. Now, of course, he would never say anything remotely similar about, say, a mosque. Hey, this is literally what he has said, right? When he was asked about protests outside synagogues, unsafe for Jews, he said, well, you know, inside they were doing this thing where they were selling real estate in Israel.
Speaker 7I've also been clear to New Yorkers, my honest opinions about the fact that when we have a real estate expo that is promoting the sale of land, which includes the sale of land in occupied West Bank in settlements that are a. Violation of international law, that that is something that I firmly disagree with and that I also believe that many New Yorkers firmly disagree with because it has been at the heart of an ongoing effort to displace Palestinians from their homes.
Speaker 1So, again, if you decide that you are going to stand outside a synagogue and protest outside the synagogue and block entrances and harass Jews going into the synagogue, if they're pro-Israel, then that would be bad. Now, there are lots of Jews, meaning people who are born Jewish, who are not particularly Jewish, right? They don't actually. Have anything to do with Jewish practice or Jewish thought or anything like that is what I've called ham sandwich Jews as Jewish as a ham sandwich. Jews are technically Jewish, but aren't actually involved in Jewishness in any serious way. And many of these people like to claim Jewish ethnicity so they can be not white. They don't actually do anything Jewish other than occasionally saying as a Jew to legitimize hatred of Israel and other Jews like they will only say they will never say as a Jew in solidarity with other Jews, they only say as a Jew to talk about how all the other Jews who like Israel are bad. Some of those Jews are happy with drawing a bright line between Jewishness and Israel because they have no association with either Jewishness or Israel. But that bright line is a lie. It is just a lie. It is inseparable. Okay. Jewishness and Israel are not separable. They are not. How do I know this? Because I own a Bible. The idea that Israel and Jewish promises made by God with regard to Israel. That that is inseparable from Judaism is literally the entire Bible. The whole thing. Soup to nuts. From God's promises to Abraham, to the quest of Moses, to the book of Psalms, to the book of Jeremiah. Jewishness and Israel are inherently intertwined. They always have been. Pretending otherwise means you have to be either ignorant or you would just prefer to pretend you don't know it. Jewishness is bound up with Israel because of course it is. Literally the Jews were called B'nai Yisrael. Meaning the sons of Israel. Which was a reference to Jacob who was renamed Israel in the Holy Land of Israel. The Abrahamic promise is about the land of Israel. The quest of Moses is to enter the land of Israel. The book of Joshua is about the conquest of the land of Israel. Criticizing the government of Israel. Again, for the third time is fully legitimate as it would be for any state. But saying that you can overtly lie about Israel or slander Israel or celebrate terrorism against Israelis. Or promote conspiracy theories about Jewish power while blaming Israel. And then say, hey, don't worry. We're not saying anything about Jews. It's nonsense. It's stupid. And anyone with half a brain knows it is nonsense and stupid. And what does it result in? It results in Jews being attacked. Duh. That is why we have seen a large-scale increase in number of attacks on Jews since October 7th. Mamdani knows this. There is zero question the mass wave of attacks on Jews in Europe, in the United States, has gone hand in hand with the enormous propaganda campaign pushed forward that are implicit and replete with lies. Like full-scale lies about Israel. Of course. Of course. So, if Zoran Mamdani wants to fight anti-Semitism, he could start by just resigning. But defending evil things with the plastered smarmy smile doesn't change the fact that you're defending evil. Now, incredibly enough, Kalshi Markets, Kalshi is one of our sponsors, they have a market on who will be the Time Magazine person of the year for 2026. And Mamdani is currently leading the back. Kalshi traders think. 31% shot that Mamdani ends up as man of the year. Which says a lot about where we are in our politics here in the West. That a pro-terrorism, pro-Islamist, radical Marxist like Zoran Mamdani is leading the pack. Meanwhile, Dario Modi is at like 8%. And Elon Musk is at like 6%. Pretty incredible stuff. And it's not just Mamdani, of course. The entire Democratic Party has been taken over by a large-scale constituency of people who agree with Zoran Mamdani about all of this. So Politico is now calling the Democrat insurgents that have been added to Congress the block. Hilariously. Quote, A new class of left-wing lawmakers is preparing to infiltrate Washington next year, and they're taking lessons from past insurgents on both sides of the aisle. Meet the block. That's what some have taken to calling the core group of incoming progressives, who in many cases overthrew more moderate Democrats in safe blue districts. Milak Hirosh, Adam Hamali, Chris Rabb, Dario Leza Chevalier, Claire Valdez, and Donovan McKinney. So they're calling themselves the block. They don't like the squad because they say that the original group never developed an ecosystem in Washington and eventually fractured, but they're now forming the Soviet block. So, I mean, that's an appropriate name, the block. And get ready because these people are going to be pushing Congress to the left. According to the Calchi markets, 92% shot that the Democrats will end up controlling Congress after the midterm elections. Yeah, America's in trouble when you start electing people like this, pretty obviously. All righty, in the hot internet rumor of the day, in the hot internet rumor of the day, I know, I've gone without commenting on this because, but it is the hot internet rumor of the day. The rumor is that Candace Owens is a lesbian. That is the internet rumor of the day. Now, normally I would ignore stuff like this, except that Candace Owens so richly deserves every element of this. Every element of this. Why don't we begin with a simple fact? The evidence to support this theory is significantly more convincing than the evidence of any conspiracy theory she has ever pushed forward. Any of them. It's not me saying it. It's Grok. So somebody asked Grok, which theory has more evidence? Candace Owens is a lesbian or someone other than Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk? And Grok says the Candace Owens rumor has more presented material. He's someone else killed. Charlie Kirk claim has far less. Neither is proven. One is an unverified data dump thread from two days ago. The other requires discarding a substantial official case that already survived a preliminary hearing. And again, Candace deserves every single bit of this, like all of it. I don't know whether the rumors that Candace Owens drives a Subaru are true. I don't know whether Candace Owens has a deep desire to watch WNBA basketball. I do not know whether she enjoys the stylings of Katie Lange. I don't know any of those, but I'm just going to point out here is a really, really, really incomplete list of people that Candace Owens has accused of things without evidence. Rashid Macron of having testicles. The first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska of going on a New York shopping spree. Brian Harpole, Charlie Kirk's former security chief, of knowing about Charlie's assassination ahead of time and covering it up. She's being sued by Harpole. Some randomic face from Nebraska named Gary Javich. Sorry, Gary, of being a part of a Jewish-free Masonic lodge and conspiring with me to kill Charlie Kirk. A rando LDS kid named Robert Hilde of killing Charlie. Hilde sued Candace yesterday. Josh Hammer of having advanced knowledge of Charlie's assassination. Seth Dillon of also having advanced knowledge of Charlie's assassination. Eminem of being secretly blackmailed and controlled by political handlers to promote politics. The victims of Harvey Weinstein of all lying and Erica Kirk of killing her husband, but also being a lesbian. Oh yeah. And also Tyler Boyer of being a swinger with his wife. So, um, does, do we know whether Candace Owens plays rock, paper, scissors? We do not know. We have no clue, but has anyone ever so richly deserves anything as what is happening to Candace Owens right now? She literally sells a mug on her, on her website that says fake and gay. It says, so you're telling me everything is fake and gay. Well, I don't know. We're maybe saying one thing is fake and gay. A little, maybe, maybe. And of course, here she was calling pretty much everyone. She, she doesn't like gay, which, um, it hits a little different.
Speaker 10Oh, McCrone is very clearly a homosexual. Uh, I think that's very obvious. People have come out and talked about sleeping with him, man. He's never sued them for anything. Very weird. Really? It's not a coincidence that Justin Trudeau is gay. Obama, gay. Zelensky, gay. Emmanuel McCrone, gay and married to a trans man who molested him when he was a child. First thing I want to say is Eminem is obviously a gay man. Um, it's very sad that Eminem cleaned out his closet, but never came out of his closet. Oh no, Paul Revere, the British are coming. It's actually, it's so childish.
Speaker 7And it's gay. It's, it's gay. It's gay. It's gay. It's implausible. It is fake and gay.
Speaker 10You can say, oh no, it's totally adorable to exchange numbers with a 15 year old and then kind of have this relationship with them. Um, or you're commenting and saying, making lesbian jokes. I don't, you know, swing for the next team yet. Is that appropriate to say to a 15 year old when you're 25? Come on. Where am I? Where are my Eric explainers in the
Speaker 1chat? Um, in March, 2025, she, uh, she posited that people are in fake relationships to hide that people are gay because they're scared how it will impact their career.
Speaker 10There are people who date other people because they want to hide the fact that they're gay, that 1000% happens. These beard relationships that are set up by agencies. And it's not because they don't think Hollywood is LGBTQ friendly. If you're a part of my book club, we're going to get to the next book that we read is Hollywood Babylon, which is about the founding of Hollywood. And it was, it was always extraordinarily, um, gay, lesbian, lavender couples, gay men marrying lesbian women so that they could hide that they were gay or that they were gay. And it was, it was always as they began to impact culture. It's a fascinating book that's written by Kenneth anger. We'll get there. Um, but the reasons why they hide those relationships today is not because they're fearful of coming out of the closet. This is not the 1970s, but it's because they're fearful of how it will impact their career.
Speaker 1Um, well, here's the actual evidence. Okay. So there is an account called esoteric shaggy reporting the deets as the kids say, quote, four data leaks from 2007, 2008 gay dating profiles connected to Candace Owens' emails, including a university of Rhode Island, one, the Christian trad wife lied to her audience about everything. The data leaks are from 2011 and 2016, respectively before her rise to fame. The accounts themselves date back nearly 20 years. This was before Candace was known, let alone before her birthday location and emails were public. Multiple have not been logged into for over 10 to 15 years, and they were utilized for years. One account was logged into January 12th, 2022 while she was married and had kids. Can demo is short for Candace Amber Owens before 29 in her usernames and email stands for her birthday, April 29th. Can demo for 29 is incredible. The only instance of it being used is for Candace Owens is 2008 YouTube channel, which features a video with her face voice and name in the credits for a URI video. Only one Candace Amber Owens attended the university of Rhode Island from 2007 to 2010. One dating profile is named C dot four 29, which matches Candace's mid 2015 C dot Amber flicker page and her email C dot Amber four 29 C dot Amber C dot 49 and C dot Amber four 29 are specific. Every single one of the profiles is solely oriented toward women with multiple profiles. The only thing is that Candace Amber Owens is not a woman. She is a lesbian, and even the bi ones only expressing an interest in women. The way these websites work is if you select interested in women, only women show up listing as bi wouldn't make men appear. And then this person gets into detail about these various profiles, including one lick you in our eye. The account details again, this is all allegedly okay. Details is Candace's desire and passion for the female anatomy. She considers herself an expert at this. Another profile, set again, according to this person, Candace states her intentions in her name, college F five. Um, not great gang, not great. And of course, one of the videos that is currently making the rounds is an older video of Candace with a, an unnamed female friend, um, acting in
Speaker 8ways that are, you know, Hey guys, it's me.
Speaker 10Who is this? I'm still, perfect and pretty and skinny. And yeah, maybe it's got a little chubby in quarantine, but at least I'm still cute.
Speaker 1Cause I'm mom. I mean, listen, I'm not saying that I'm not saying that this is true. I don't know whether this is true. I do know that some of the most trusted names in Candace Owens media land are, you know, saying some things, uh, Milo Yiannopoulos, he basically said that he had pictures of her. Um, and, uh, back in August of 2024, he called her a retarded dark-skinned dyke and her husband gay. Well, she, uh, somebody, somebody logged onto the Kandamo four 29 YouTube account and threatened legal action. Any public response quote, this channel was created for a school project. There's no affiliation with anyone named Candace Owens whatsoever. If you continue to harass me, I'll have to resort to legal action, I'll be making a public response soon. Okay. Again, I don't know what we know, but did we all know? No. Or do you think, you know, no, or do you know, no, no. Who knows? Who knows? What do you feel is really the question. Should Candace Owens sue this person or should she Subaru this person? These are all open questions at this point. And let's be honest. It doesn't really matter whether it's true or not because Candace Owens, were she the one on the case would spend a year making unverified allegations and offering the prospect of future revelations and then she would make money off of it. So as I said, right at the top, I don't know whether any of this is true. It may all very well be false, but has anything ever been so richly deserved? That would be the question of the day. Alrighty. Meanwhile, yesterday in actual real news, there was a hearing that happened in the United States Senate. The hearing was directed at Jack Smith. Jack Smith, of course, a special counsel who was appointed under the Biden administration to look into President Trump on a wide variety of counts, ranging from the Mar-a-Lago raid to allegations that he had involved himself in election corruption. He was the one going after Trump for 2020 election interference. And then he had to dismiss the action after Trump won the 2024 election. So he was called before Congress. And the reason he was called before Congress is because in the process of pursuing all of these alleged crimes, he proceeded to basically draw information on pretty much everybody on the right. Subpoena like basic donor information, for example, go after GOP organizations. So Jack Smith, first, he claimed not to know that the RNC and TPUSA were subpoenaed. Did your team subpoena records concerning the Republican National Committee?
Speaker 11Subpoenaed a number of records. That's a yes or no question. I do not have, I just want to be clear with you, Senator. I do not have a recollection of every subpoena. We did subpoena numerous records. Did your team subpoena the RNC? I would have to look at those records, but we did. You're testifying you don't remember? Yes, no, or I don't remember. There's your three options. It is very possible. I do not have a recollection. Okay. Did your team subpoena Turning Point USA? Again, I would have to look at the records. Do you have any idea who you subpoenaed? Can you name? All right, let me help you. Did your team subpoena the Conservative Partnership Institute?
Speaker 1That I do remember. Okay, good. We found one. Okay. We should point out at this point that Senators Graham, Holly, Ron Johnson, Marsha Blackburn, Bill Hagerty, Dan Sullivan, Tommy Tuberville, Cynthia Lummis, Ted Cruz, and Representative Mike Kelly all had their phone calls and toll records subpoenaed in the middle of this investigation. And Senators Grassley, Lee Corn, and Holly, Graham, and Johnson all had their text messages subpoenaed between late 2020 and early 2021. Ted Cruz highlighted the subpoenas targeting GOP organizations. Every name on it is a Republican. Is it your view? Is it a crime to be a Republican?
Speaker 11Absolutely not, sir. Is it a crime to write a check to Republicans? It is not. And I'm happy to explain why we issued these subpoenas, if you'd like. Sure. Briefly. We had to conduct an investigation about whether any person or entity violated the law with respect to the attempt to block the peaceful transfer of power. To make that decision. Yes, I understand. And you use that as an excuse to engage in a massive phishing expedition targeting over 400 Republicans. And it was disgraceful.
Speaker 1So, um, you know, Jack Smith, again, it was a phishing expedition. It was, in fact, a phishing expedition. Josh Howley also went after Jack Smith. Again, Jack Smith went too far. His charges were never truly substantiated. The charges themselves were incredibly vague and poorly drawn. We covered it extensively at the time. Here is Josh Howley going after Jack Smith.
Speaker 12But you use your ability and the powers of your office to lie to the court, to lie to Congress, to lie to the American people, to lie to the House. It's the worst abuse of prosecutorial power in the history of the United States. And all I have to say is, I'm glad you're here. All I have to say is, I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you failed. I don't know what our democracy would be like if you had succeeded in your effort to interfere in the workings of a presidential election. If it were up to me, I'd charge you with perjury. But you should certainly be disbarred. And I can only pray that nothing like this will ever happen again in the United States of America.
Speaker 1Now, Jack Smith claimed that he had not coordinated in any way with the Biden administration. And Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana was like, are you trying to joke us right now? Like, are we really supposed to believe that?
Speaker 11Attorney General Garland could have countermanded that decision. But I made that decision on my own, consulting with my staff and reviewing the incredibly strong evidence that we had accumulated. In fact, President Biden and or his White House staff told General Garland to prosecute the president, didn't they? Again, I have no idea about that. What my job was. I don't know anything about that. Do you believe in the tooth fairy? I do not. How about the Easter bunny? I no longer believe in the Easter bunny. Do you think Jimmy Hoffa died of natural causes? I do not.
Speaker 1Well, you know, is this going to do any damage seriously to Jack Smith? Probably not. They weren't going to catch him in a perjury trap. It was amusing, by the way, that Cory Booker then put on his angry eyes, right? Because he was like, I don't know. He was like, I don't know. He popped in the angry eyes. And then he talked, how dare the Republican, how dare the Republicans do this before an election? I don't know. How dare Democrats try to basically prosecute the former presidents of the United States into the ground before an election?
Speaker 13And I'd say this to my ranking member here. Every person who they bring through to be confirmed for a position asked over and over again, did Donald Trump win the 2020 election, refuses to say the truth. This is the truth. This is an eight-year attempt to lie to the American people. And this is their closing argument, everybody. Right before an election, this is what they want to spend their time on, perpetrating
Speaker 1a lie. Yeah, perpetrating lies on law enforcement auspices about your political opponents. That's kind of a Democrat thing, actually. By the way, President Trump has, of course, maintained that the 2020 election was fraudulent. And calci markets disagree. The calci markets, again, they're sponsors. Most people believe that there will be no court ruling that the 2020 election was fraudulent, like a 10% chance at any point that there will be some sort of ruling that the 2020 election was fraudulent. Again, not a gigantic surprise there. Okay. Meanwhile, in other legal issues in the headlines. So we talked at length yesterday about this Cornell University alleged gang rape case. And I pointed out that the evidence there was unbelievably scanty, that the original police complaint that was filed by the unnamed Jane Doe in this particular situation did not even allege a lack of consent. And that's sort of a problem. Well, that has not stopped Hollywood from going to bat against Cornell University for supposedly not doing enough. So Mariska Hargitay, who has been synonymous with tackling sex crime stories because she played a sex crime police officer on Law & Order SVU, used her Instagram story to rail against the Cornell 7. That's what they're calling the men. Who engaged in this by reposting the following statements. Dear men and boys, if your friends tell you they're gang raping someone, call the effing police. Yes, I think we should ruin the futures of adult men who drug and gang rape a woman. Thanks for asking. 57 men were in that frat group chat. 57, not one of them stopped it. Meanwhile, heated rivalry star Hudson Wilson said arrest them, F them and F Cornell too. And good place in She-Hulk actor Jamila Jamil. She said, I think the likes of the Cornell 7 shouldn't be allowed penises anymore. They use them as weapons. So now they have to be. Confiscated. I think jail time, legal castration and removal of the shaft seems like the bare minimum. Now, normally when you're calling for that sort of treatment, you have to identify a crime. I know this is crazy talk. But as I say, the reason that the left is so exercised about this particular case is because they know deep in their heart that something terrible happened here. The terrible thing that happened here is that people consented to acts that are inherently degrading the woman in this particular case. Degraded herself. The men treated her in unbelievably degrading ways. It's all a bunch of truly scummy behavior, obviously. But the evidence that this was like a gang rape is at least the contemporaneous evidence non-existent. I don't mean like it's scanty. I'm going to revise that. It's not even scanty. It is non-existent. According to CBS News, CBS News, New York investigative reporter, Mazza Saidi received new screenshots from a source. The source says they showed text between the former student identified as Jane Doe and one of the defendants accused of rape in the lawsuit. The messages were sent just two days after the alleged assault. The man started by apologizing for how things went down. He said his memory is kind of fuzzy and that he and another man feel bad for being too intoxicated to shut it down and kick people out before it got way out of hand. The woman in the text chain replied that her memory is super clouded too and said they had all been heavily intoxicated. She also wrote, quote, none of the sexual stuff was illegal. Um, admission against interest, anyone? None of the sexual stuff was illegal. She said she liked being with him and another man. Later, she suggested they smoke together again, but like leave out the extra five billion men and ketamine. Um. That sounds like some terrible decision making and again, incredibly degrading behavior. And like everyone had some regrets about the behavior. Does that sound like illegality? Quote, none of the sexual stuff was illegal. Rare win, by the way, for Sonny Haasen. Okay. Like, this is the only time in human history in which you're going to hear me agree with Sonny Haasen. So here's Sonny Haasen on The View pointing out that, um, by legal standards, she consented.
Speaker 14She allowed other boys and consented to other boys, uh, snorting ketamine off of her body. Um, and under New York law, voluntary intoxication or drug use that merely impairs judgment does not legally constitute an inability to consent to sexual activity. Right? So that means if you voluntarily, If you voluntarily ingest drugs, you voluntarily take alcohol, you can agree to have threesomes, which, in her statement, she agreed to have two separate threesomes. One boy did walk in. One young man did walk in and say, everybody out. So there was one person that did that. And according to her statement, three of the young men did not touch her. And so I say all. The thing I wonder, Sonny, is. But I say all that to say. The pictures of these young men who have not been charged, not been adjudicated, are being plastered all over the internet. I think people are reporting this story inaccurately. I think they're reporting it unfairly. And while this is something that we have to take very seriously, there is no way, according to her statement in 2024, that any prosecutor would have brought forth a case. Yeah, but she was intoxicated.
Speaker 1Again, Sonny Haasen happens to be correct. And by the way, if we're going to redefine intoxicated. I don't know where that ends, precisely. Like, truly, I really don't know where. If you voluntarily have a couple of drinks and then have sex, and this is now considered rape, how do you draw that legal standard? At what level of legal intoxication? Do you have to take a blood test? Like, how does that work, precisely? And this is all a mess. And it's a mess because no one has the moral language to just condemn bad behavior without trying to buttonhole that into some sort of legal charge. Okay, speaking. of legal issues. juror the holdout juror Michael Ronville who is the the holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial he did an interview with Fox in which he explained his perspective he says listen I don't want to be the center of the story I just want the focus put back on the kids were murdered by Lindsay Clancy here he was again he sounds like a class act whether you agree with him or disagree with him I don't see any evidence that this person is some sort of intransigent evil person which is what how the entire media have attempted
Speaker 15to play him hi my name is Michael Peggy Desronville also known as the lone juror I know the whole focus has been on me but we want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three angels that is that's at hand the ones that can't speak for themselves the ones that can't defend themselves and the one that can't fight the battles you um this guy is supposed to
Speaker 1be a bad guy and he was demonized by the attorney for the defense again here was Kevin Reddington who was the attorney for Lindsay Clancy blaming that juror for having robbed the jury of seven weeks I
Speaker 16think the biggest misconception is that this individual is referred to as the holdout juror he in fact is the obstructionist juror and every motion that has been filed is legitimate it's all based on sound law facts jury questions and I'm doing what I should do representing
Speaker 1Lindsay okay again the lawyer for Desronville then Edward Paltyk he says that Reddington going after the juror that is a violation of the sixth amendment and he is he's right I mean the fact that Reddington has behaved horribly throughout this entire trial I
Speaker 17find it richly ironic that the jury has been filed against that after Kevin Reddington outed Michael and stood on the courthouse steps and said Michael has an agenda Michael robbed the other jurors I find it richly ironic that now all of a sudden he's calling him John Doe after the damage was already done and the question now is do we want to have a constitution do we want to have a sixth amendment do we want jurors to feel safe when they help to perform their civic duty because we're not going to have a criminal justice system if jurors are afraid of reprisals and what Kevin Reddington doing is doing here he is setting a nightmarish precedent and what would happen next time if it's the district attorney that didn't get his way because of a holdout juror what are we going to have now the prosecution doing this because the tables always turn change it's the principle that matters here and we're consistent about that Kevin Reddington isn't
Speaker 1again whatever you think of the actual verdict here whatever you think the actual verdict the reality is that the treatment of this juror is insane truly crazy as the New York Post points out Kevin Reddington likely violated the constitution by revealing Michael P. Desronville's identity and then accusing him of being an obstructionist for not agreeing with others who felt the mom should be cleared for murdering her three young kids she strangled with exercise bands and then she was shot and killed by a man who was a Catholic and a Haitian immigrant was thrown into the limelight when he was revealed to be the man who defied his 11 co-jurors but concluded Clancy was innocent of killing her three children by reason of insanity again the fact that this has turned into some sort of referendum on the juror is truly crazy it is wild and Reddington is is out of his mind I mean Reddington is now arguing a renewed motion for required finding not guilty asking the judge to find the evidence presented at trial was legally insufficient for a rational jury to find Clancy guilty beyond a reasonable doubt so again that's a long shot basically he's arguing that there is no possible way a jury could have come up with this with this verdict and then he says is there evidence Lindsay killed her kids um I feel like there is definitely evidence that Lindsay Clancy killed her kids I'm
Speaker 16pretty sure case further indicates that the evidence must not just be some record evidence it has to be reliable and it has to be sufficient that would allow a rational juror to make a determination beyond a reasonable doubt not just that there's some record evidence that touches on each element of the offense so I asked the court to harken back to the evidence that was presented and ask yourself where's the evidence that she did this where is the evidence that she did this where's the
Speaker 1evidence that she did it I mean like that she did it that would be the evidence but it is amazing how the headline always obscures the actual story okay meanwhile I think it is worthwhile pointing out some Trump victories because I know that Republicans are down in the dumps you're seeing an enormous number of bizarre push polls right now on how things are going to break down in Congress I referenced earlier in the show that the calcium markets think 92 percent shot that the Democrats take Congress this is probably right but the idea that the broke that the Democrats are just destroying the Republicans right now in the generic congressional vote I'm seeing some varying data here so there's a poll that came out literally today from Harvard Harris that shows Democrats up two in the generic ballot as opposed to one from Quinnipiac showing Democrats up 12 in the generic ballot these polls are all over the place in other words yes Democrats have an advantage but is it as big as people are saying at this point I do not know especially given the fact that again a lot of Americans by every poll upset with the economy but we should point out that actually Americans are doing pretty well by any sort of historic again that's not saying there aren't pressures there certainly are but Cato Institute points out that since 1967 remember this was supposed to be the golden age of the economy the 1960s 1950s since 1967 the share of households with incomes of a hundred fifty thousand dollars or more it is the golden age of the economy has actually gone up by a factor of about six went from five percent of households in 1967 earning 150 000 or more to 28 of households today earning 150 000 or more as far as the percentage of Americans earning below 35 000 that has declined rapidly in fact according to Cato since 1967 real household income has risen by more than half and as for income inequality it's basically been stagnant since 2000. How about the notion that the rich just aren't paying their fair share that is not true at all as Cato points out the federal tax rates since 1989 have actually fallen for the bottom quintiles and they have radically escalated for people in the top one percent they're up since 1989 4.5 percent for people in the top one percent they're up about one percent for people in the top fifth and they are down massively for people in the lowest income quintiles so it is not as though the economy has suddenly cratered that American capitalism has failed or anything like that and the administration has been doing some pretty good things so for example yesterday the administration cut off loans for college programs whose graduates earn consistently low income so the basic idea here is the government is not going to provide loans for programs that are scams that's a good thing right that's preventing college debt from being taken that people shouldn't take yesterday the chief design officer which I know existed of the U.S. government has been doing some pretty good things for the U.S. government unveiled america.gov again the goal here is to make government significantly more efficient here's the announcement yesterday
Speaker 18welcome to america.gov the new online home for the United States of America for the first time there's one place to get everything done across the entire government 29,000 websites in one enrollments benefits renewals finish your lists without ever leaving the site need to enroll in medicare check out the website and you'll see that there's a lot of information on the website check eligibility compare plans and apply directly on america.gov check in on a student loan you can do it right on the site address change with the postal service no stress serve the country and need to find care done in a few clicks go back to being a patriot
Speaker 1again this is all good like this is a win right as long as the website works we're good marco rubio secretary of state says that you'll now be able to just apply online for your passport which again makes things really easy right now you have to go down to a government office and the whole thing
Speaker 19you would ask how do i apply for my first passport and once i'm signed in with login.gov i can securely see the information that the government already has about me in its system i don't have to type the same thing over and over and over again now now the fun part the photo you can take a new one on yourself on the phone you probably can't use those filters to make you look 50 years younger but you can take a picture of yourself on the phone and you can use those filters to make you in the comfort of your own home or you can upload one directly from your own device you're not going any longer to some drugstore to get your picture taken behind a white screen and this is this is a really cool feature you can see your photo in the context of the finished passport and if you don't like it and as you probably know many people don't like it so you're going to take 150 of these but eventually you will like one and you can retake it until it's the perfect shot the one you like now i have to say this this may be the most beautiful government checkout i've ever seen and because i'm securely logged in through login.gov my name my address they're already here i enter my payment securely so let's check out and that's it
Speaker 1like again this is good this is all good stuff there are things that are happening inside the guy I know we report on all the bad news but this is actual good stuff and so it is worthwhile noting when good things actually happen already folks you think we've reached the end of the show we have not I have an astonishing astonishing piece of audio from the daughter of Nicole Hannah-Jones Nicole Hannah-Jones she's the lady from the 1619 Project who again falsifies American history for a living and talks about how evil the West is and all the rest and as you'll recall she actually sends her daughter to a crappy school on the basis that she wanted to send her to a minority school and now her daughter is speaking out openly about it you're only going to get that if you become a Daily Wire member you also get Run, Hide, Fight, Infidels and all the other awesome stuff we have coming we have great stuff coming just for you if you're not a member become a member use code Shapiro check out for two months free on all annual plans click that link in the description and join us subscribe to our channel for more videos like

Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. A Fly Dubai flight from the UAE to Tel Aviv was the scene of a foiled terror attack when an Omani co-pilot stabbed the Indian captain and attempted to crash the plane, which was carrying over 170 people, mostly Israelis.
  2. The attack was thwarted by passengers, many with military training, who broke into the cockpit, subdued the attacker, and helped stabilize the wounded captain until an off-duty pilot could land the plane safely in Saudi Arabia.
  3. The speaker heavily criticizes mainstream media outlets like the New York Times for initially describing the stabbing and attempted crash as an "altercation," accusing them of downplaying an act of Islamic terrorism.
  4. New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani announced a new initiative to combat anti-Semitism, which the speaker dismisses as fraudulent and a cynical ploy to shield his own anti-Semitic political allies.
  5. The speaker argues that Mamdani's plan focuses on fighting anti-Semitism from the political right while ignoring attacks perpetrated by his own supporters, and that the plan's funding is grossly insufficient for the stated goal.
  6. The speaker defines anti-Semitism as a conspiracy theory about Jewish power and argues that it is inseparable from anti-Zionism, which he views as the primary modern source of anti-Jewish hatred.
  7. The speaker claims that Mamdani's strategy is to separate Jewishness from support for Israel, thereby offering a perverse form of acceptance to Jews who denounce Israel while marginalizing those who do not.
  8. In other news, the speaker covers a Senate hearing where former Special Counsel Jack Smith was questioned about his investigation of Donald Trump, and discusses a controversial Cornell University rape case and a Lindsay Clancy trial juror.

Summary:

The provided text is a transcript of "The Michael Knowles Show," covering several major topics. The primary focus is a foiled terrorist attack on a Fly Dubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. An Omani co-pilot stabbed the captain and attempted to crash the plane, which was carrying mostly Israeli passengers. The attack was heroically stopped by passengers, some with military backgrounds, who subdued the attacker and helped land the plane safely in Saudi Arabia. The host, Michael Knowles, criticizes the media for initially downplaying the event as an "altercation."

The second major segment focuses on New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani's new initiative to combat anti-Semitism.
