Well, first, she brought dance back to New York City with Kevin Bacon. So, Kathy Hochul is the New York governor who inherited her position when Andrew Cuomo killed all the old people and grabbed a bunch of ass. And now she is the governor of New York and she has been relegated to getting rid of regulations in New York that apparently banned dancing. And she brought Kevin Bacon along to explain how.

Okay, why do I bring up Kathy Hochul and the bringing back of the dance? Because Kathy Hochul, you know, she is a hardcore feminist. She's standing for the ladies. She's standing against the patriarchy that would strip women of their rights. She's bringing dance back to New York City back in 2021. You may recall that she gave a speech in Albany in which she talked about how we need to get abortion bans off of women's bodies. Women's bodies need to be free. This can't be the handmaid's tale.
Speaker 4I just got in from Seneca Falls. Why did I go to Seneca Falls? Well, first of all, the rally was before yours. Okay, so that's nothing personal here. I went there because I needed to channel the spirit of those brave, audacious women who 173 years ago demanded the rights to control their own bodies. They were tired of being the property of men. They stood up, they fought, and many of them did not live long enough to see the rights that they believed in and fought for in Seneca Falls at that gathering. But we are all beneficiaries of that because they had courage and stood up.

When you decide to full-on don the garb that, in the vast majority of planet Earth, is mandatory for Muslim women and is punishable by law, you are making a statement. You are saying something. The reason that hijab, globally speaking, is controversial is because it is typically a form of compulsion on women. And the fact that the governor of New York is not just covering her hair out of respect. She's full-on donning the garb, says something. It is a unique thing that is now being said by an enormous percentage of democratic governance and leadership. And that thing is that we are going to now submit to the rules. That is the idea here. It is. And again, that is different from somebody putting a doily on their head when they go into a Catholic mass or somebody even going to a synagogue and putting on a yarmulke. Which, by the way, I'm just telling all politicians, as an Orthodox Jew, you don't have to put on a yarmulke to walk into a Jewish synagogue. The only people who actually ask you to do that are Reformed Jews who typically don't wear a yarmulke in the first place. People like me who wear it full-time, I'm just telling you, you don't have to do it. There's no obligation to it. Anyway, this is all part and parcel of a leftist willingness to not only glaze Islam, but also to submit to it. And to start repeating all the talking points of it. And this has become not just a New York issue, as we'll talk about in a second, but it is also a globalized issue. Canada's CBC News, for example, has now decided to cover 9-11 by not calling it a terrorist attack. According to the Daily Wire, in preparation for the 25th anniversary of 9-11, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation sent a memo to its staff with instructions on how to refer to the 2001 terrorist attacks. Specifically, not to call the events terrorist attacks. Do not refer to September 11th attacks as terrorist attacks, the memo read. The hijackings led to passenger jet crashes in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, and Manhattan. The World Trade Center was destroyed. That memo was attributed to one Basim Bashra, the Senior Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust at CBC News. This is what the West has done to itself. The West has decided that it is guilty, the West deserves what happened to it, and that people have to be imported en masse because the West is guilty. Speaker 1like student protesters and whatnot so he's saying that the government is randomly killing activists not only deporting them killing them because this is how much he hates the country because that's not true at all here is the reality our immigration system is broken we never should have imported our immigration system we never should have imported our immigration system we never should have imported these folks we never should have done it we should stop it right now and reverse it which brings us to an insane judicial decision over the weekend again it is just local judges who are now deciding for the entire nation you can't support people who hate the country according to politico a federal judge on friday declared the trump administration's efforts to deport non-citizens for political speech run counter to the constitution's first and fifth amendments the latest legal rebuke of the white house's expansive immigration agenda northern district california judge noel wise an appointee of wait for it joe biden sided with the stanford daily which sued marco rubio arguing his use of the ina that's the immigration and nationality act to deport non-citizen students had foreign students refraining from writing opinion pieces critical of the administration now the reality is that the law allows the state department enormous discretion under the ina section 237 a4 c1 it allows the state department to deport any alien quote whose presence or activities in the united states the secretary of state has reasonable grounds to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the united states and that law includes protection for aliens beliefs statements and associations would be lawful within the united states but gives the secretary of state power to override these protections as long as he notifies the chairs of the house and senate committees on the judiciary and foreign relations so yes of course we should be deporting people first of all these people never should have been imported what the hell was mahmoud khalil doing in the united states we desperately needed foreign exchange students to come and lead radical protest movements shutting down american campuses on behalf of terrorist organizations that was the thing we needed here in the united states i feel like we have enough problems without importing those ones meanwhile ron desantis has come out in florida and correctly named the council on american islamic relations a foreign terrorist organization he said we designated care named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror financing trial in history as a foreign terrorist organization all states should follow suit we've also removed soros back da's who refuse to honor their oaths to enforce the law let's go this is a good move there's also an initiative from the trump administration to target many of these non-profits the irs is going to issue fines or even strip the tax-exempt status of charities tied to political violence, protests, or radical ideologies. So that would include, for example, CARE, as well as the Soros Network. Meanwhile, the DHS is not, by the way, if you think the DHS is not being even-handed, I present to you the case of Milo Yiannopoulos. So Milo Yiannopoulos, for those who don't know, is a derelict human being, just a complete scuzzbucket, truly a horrible person who has spent the last decade or so traipsing around the United States, essentially being a racial and sexual provocateur, saying silly things, saying ridiculous and ugly things. Well, he was deported over the weekend, and I will say that his mugshot is not nearly as flattering as President Trump's mugshot. Homeland Security put out a statement on August 27th, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, Louisiana. Yiannopoulos legally entered the country May 14th, 2019 through New York City. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation's laws. Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an immigration judge July 22nd after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He'll remain in ICE custody pending removal. He said being in detention is a choice. He encouraged all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP home app. He's encouraging, they're encouraging people to self-deport. So for those who don't know Milo Yiannopoulos, he got started at Breitbart back when I was at Breitbart. I was an editor at large, and he was also, I believe, an editor at large, something like that. And he wrote kind of like edgy right-wing pieces. And then he quickly tuned over into what was then called the alt-right, the sort of white supremacist adjacent part of the right. And now he spends his days kind of tweeting horrifically ugly things to people as he has for the last 10 years or so. January 29th, he tweeted, I'm still praying that God will bless me with a wife and children. But Lord, if you're listening, if it's between loneliness and a woman like Erica Kirk, I choose solitude. Well, Dana Bash asked Tom Homan on CNN if Milo was deported faster than other ICE detainees. If he was, that'd make him sad because I think that Milo would probably enjoy prison. In any case, here was Dana Bash with Tom Homan.
Speaker 15Homeland Security's news at 10:30 said he was arrested Thursday. We understand he was deported the next day. That seems like a pretty quick turnaround. Was he given preferential treatment to leave instead of remaining in an ICE detention facility longer?
Speaker 16No, we've been working steadily the last few months on getting people out quicker. That way it saves the taxpayers money in the detention space. The quicker we judge orders them out, rather than being in detention, waiting for travel documents and flight arrangements, ICE along with CBP and two Department of Homeland Security is working really good on the efficiencies of the removal process. Get them out quick. Open those beds up for more detainees to be held.

Speaker 1OK, so, well, goodbye to Milo Yiannopoulos, and I hope that he enjoys his time. In the UK, I assume he's going back to the UK, and he can hang with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are also back there as well. We fought a revolution just so we didn't have to import people like this. And we can only hope that some of his fellow Brits will rejoin him there at some point in the near future. OK, well, many of the people, it's kind of fascinating, many of the people who hate America the most, the Abdul al-Sayed, the Zoran Mamdani's, they are huge fans of gigantic government redistribution. Huge fans of it. And you have to ask yourself why. Like, why is it that the same people who wish for America to collapse are very much in favor of huge government redistributionism? And the answer is that's the payoff. That's the payoff. Now, historically speaking, it's kind of fascinating. You know, look at the Nazi movement, for example. National socialism. Everyone likes to focus on the nationalism part, right? They like to focus on the radical nationalism that resulted in the Holocaust. But there's a historian named Goetz Alley who's written a series of books about this. Talking about the socialism part of national socialism. Why were Germans so into Nazism? Because the truth is that Nazism was quite popular and remained popular basically until the end of the war. And the big answer that this historian gives, Goetz Alley, is that the Nazi leadership were very cognizant of the fact that the way you remain popular with the population, even as you promote radicalism, is radical redistributionism. So they promoted extraordinarily high progressive tax rates. They promoted seizure of private property. They did so on behalf of the lower and the middle classes. Gotali claims, for example, in one of his books, Hitler's Beneficiaries, that the goal was to make the Germans into well-fed parasites. Vast numbers of Germans fell prey to the euphoria of a gold rush. As the state was transformed into a gigantic apparatus for plundering others, average Germans became unscrupulous profiteers and passive recipients of bribes. And that's right. And so, you know, it's tempting to look at Abdullah al-Sayed or Zarmandani and say, well, the economics is sort of an adjunct to their radicalist views. And the easy thing for the right to say is, well, you know, they're using affordability as cover for the sort of quasi-jihadism. And the left says they're just using the jihadism as sort of an adjunct to their redistributionism. They are part of the same program. They are part of the same program because the idea is that if you want to fundamentally restructure America, what you do is bribe people. You bribe people. And the best way to bribe people is through government largesse. It's a great way to bribe people. You can get away with pretty much anything, so long as you're claiming that people are not going to absorb the cost and that they will absorb the benefit. It's all part of the same agenda. So again, it is not a coincidence that Abdullah al-Sayed is a member of the Democratic Party, for example. Again, there are plenty of anti-Americans in the Republican Party as well. The Tucker Carlson wing, for one. But even those people are very big fans of government spending and redistributionism. Not a coincidence. Here is Abdullah al-Sayed talking about how our national debt is big because we cut taxes and we cut taxes on the rich when we went to war. But really, we can afford whatever we want.
Speaker 10But it might be worth trying to figure out why our national debt just got so big. They cut taxes on the richest people because at the end of the day, a debt balance is about the amount of money in and the amount of money out. Republicans always like to do one thing with our money. They don't want to give you health care. They don't want to give you child care. They don't want to address our broken infrastructure or our failing public schools. You know what they want to do? They want to go to war.
Speaker 1OK, all Republicans want to do, according to him, is go to war. But if it really, the only thing that matters, the only thing that matters going to Abdullah al-Sayed is the political will to do Medicare for all, which is only going to cost us tens of trillions of dollars and essentially bankrupt our economy. Here's Abdullah al-Sayed pretending he cares about fiscal responsibility when he clearly does not.
Speaker 10I went to medical school and I've spent a lot of time thinking about the system, wrote a whole book on it and ultimately realized that the biggest challenge is not the fact that we have to not making the math work. The biggest challenge is not architecting the system. The biggest challenge is creating the political will to get there.
Speaker 1By the way, this is something that people lie about in politics all the time. It's just a matter of will. If we just had more will, we could do it. No amount of will is going to make the math math. It doesn't math. But James Tallarico is doing the same routine. He says that basically the Bible says you must have nationalized health care, which is a pretty weird take on the Bible, which doesn't have nationalized health care.
Speaker 17Go back and see what Jesus spends most of his time doing. It's not preaching. It's not teaching. It's healing. It's healing people. And that is what we are called to do, whether you're religious or not, is ensure that our neighbors have the care that they need. And that is going to be the end result of this plan and the other health care policies that we're going to fight for in Washington.
Speaker 1Okay, now, what is actually costing us the money? The answer is all the social welfare programs. It is Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, Social Security, Income Security, right? It's all those things. Fiscal year 2025 U.S. budget. We are going to spend $10.3 trillion. Interest is 12.1% of that, which is about the same as national defense now. Health care and social spending combined is over half of the federal budget. National defense is 13.7%. We're actually at a relative low in terms of our percentage of GDP spent on defense right now. And Democrats lie about that so they can claim that actually it's the defense sector that is costing all the money. And this is all going to bankrupt us, by the way. This chart of income tax revenues versus interest payments, check this out. By 2040, more than half, well over half, of our income tax revenue will just be spent on maintaining the debt. Just on the interest that we have to pay on our debt. This is not uniquely a Democratic problem. Republicans tend to lie about this stuff too. So RFK Jr., for example, he did a Foxtown Hall where he suggested an enormous amount of money is being stolen in health care fraud. That's true. That is not the chief problem. The chief problem, I know the Republicans want to pretend that it's not the entitlement programs either. It's fraud, waste, and abuse. That is a problem. It is not the chief problem.
Speaker 11We have all heard about the fraud taking place across the country. It would double the solvency of the Medicare trust fund, double the life expectancy. Yeah. That's a shocking claim.
Speaker 3It's a lot of money. It's over $100 billion a year that's being stolen.
Speaker 1I mean, there is a lot of money that is being stolen. And also, that is not the chief problem when it comes to our national debt. But again, the broad scale big government program is connected with all the rest of it. There's a reason why the left is embracing both radical Islam and also gigantic government spending programs. They fit together beautifully. They really, really do. Now, none of it's going to materialize in real life, by the way. The New York Post is reporting that Zoran Mamdani's promise of universal child care, including a new free 2K program, is forcing them to dig into their own pockets. There is no money of it, for it. With the backing of Kathy Hochul, he unveiled a 2K pilot for two-year-olds that aims to expand citywide in the next four years. And that came with $1.2 billion in state funding, according to the New York Post. However, there are massive hardships on the funding front. The money is not forthcoming. There are delays and frustrations. There are delays and frustrations. So, again, the promises never reify, but in the moment, they sound good. Okay, meanwhile, on the foreign policy front, I hate to break it to opponents of the Trump administration, but we are actually winning in Iran right now. We are actually winning. So, President Trump has been saying for a long time, the Strait of Hormuz is open. And listen, I've been skeptical because I've been watching the amount of oil coming out of the Strait of Hormuz, but it turns out the Strait of Hormuz is kind of open. This is no longer a speculative matter. An enormous amount of oil is pouring out of the Strait of Hormuz from Qatar, from UAE, from Iraq, from Kuwait, and zero is coming out from Iran. And Iran is in serious economic straits. Here's CENTCOM Admiral Brad Cooper explaining the traffic separation schemes in the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaker 18Let's take a look at exactly what this means. Here's a nautical chart of the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding seas. It's frequently used by mariners around the world and clearly identifies the international and recognized traffic separation scheme, which you see labeled on the chart as TSS. A traffic separation scheme is a highway system for ships on the ocean. Here on the chart, a dividing line is shown and placed between lanes with opposing traffic directions to keep ships safely apart in the narrow waterway. These are the long-standing lanes international shipping has historically used to transit the Strait of Hormuz. And over the past few months, our forces meticulously and quietly cleared them of sea mine threats using a combination of Navy divers, Navy SEALs, and U.S. Air Power from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. The circumstances were challenging and dangerous to say the least, but we got the job done. Bottom line, today, international shipping lanes are open and momentum is building.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's extraordinary. Brett McGurk, who worked under pretty much every administration in the recent past, worked under Trump and Biden and Bush. And Obama. He has a piece at CNN saying the U.S. is winning. Quote, Bloomberg reported this week that oil flows through the Strait have recovered to two-thirds of pre-war levels. That means pressure is now compounding on Iran and not the U.S. And if Iran loses its ability to hold the Strait hostage, its leverage dissipates rapidly. According to the International Monetary Fund, Iran's economy is expected to contract by more than 5% this year, with inflation approaching 70%. The value of Iran's currency has fallen sharply. Prices for basic goods have soared. Miod Maliki from the Foundation for Defense of Defense of Democracies is a frequent guest on the program. He explained over the weekend, the regime can keep printing rial to avoid cutting salaries, but it can't print gasoline or refining catalysts. Printing buys time, but salaries paid in melting rial simply can't buy imports that no longer arrive. The regime is inflating away payroll cuts, but can't inflate away empty fuel tanks. The regime's economy minister admitted that 100 trillion tomans were borrowed directly from the central bank in March through May alone. The monetary base is up 61.5%. Inflation is near 90%. Food is up 134%. A stopped paycheck is a different animal from what we have seen. A common date, a common grievance, an obvious culprit, unpaid salaries would start to trigger strikes. And by the way, this is now being admitted full scale by the Iranians themselves. Mohamed Pazeshkian, who is the titular president of Iran, he said on Friday that there are people who are saying the sanctions have no impact. And he's like, I don't know what you are talking about.
Speaker 19Exports and imports have fallen by 25 to 35%. This is, our exports have fallen more, but our imports have also declined. Of course, exports have seen a bigger drop than imports. The meaning of this is clear to those who understand economics. I do not want to spell it out. I do not know what to say to those who claim that the sanctions have no effect.
Speaker 1So, I mean, that's even the Iranians acknowledging this at this point. There's some pretty significant infighting between the IRGC and some of the other parts of the coalition inside Iran. Now, Trump administration to sit there and keep the blockade on, which is why. Iran is starting to get kind of frisky. So Iran is freaking out. They want to remine the Strait because if they lose leverage over the Strait, they got nothing. They don't have a nuclear weapon. Their only forward capacity is terrorist groups who are being blown to smithereens, largely by the Israelis in Lebanon, for example. And they can fire desultory missile rounds at Jordan and mostly get knocked down. But that's kind of it. So over the weekend, they tried to remine the Strait and the United States did not allow them to do this. According to Reuters, U.S. forces struck two Iranian launchers on Iran's Larak Island on Sunday, marking the first known American strikes on Iran since late July. Iran responded by attacking U.S. forces stationed in Jordan. Pretty much all the incoming missiles were intercepted. Now, President Trump, just for the funds of it, I guess, the funsies of it, he put out an AI video of Kharg being blown to smithereens. Of course, this is AI. Now, you know, this is how the president gets his kicks at 918 on a Sunday night, putting out a tweet showing Kharg Island being blown. Again, the United States could do that at literally any time. Moshtaba Khamenei, who may or may not be alive, right? We literally have not seen him. Since the original attacks on the Iranian regime. So it might be his dead body, Weekend Bernie style being wheeled around and his skull being manipulated to say things. He issued a letter urging Muslim countries to unite against what he called their real enemy. Well, let's just be clear at this point. Iran has fired on pretty much every surrounding country. So I think all of them know who the real enemy is at this point. So this brings us to what can only be called treason inside the administration, true treason. So yet another leak over the weekend. These leaks need to be identified and the leakers need to be prosecuted, prosecuted today. I don't care whether you're an opponent of the war, whether you think the war is a good idea, a bad idea, how it's going, it doesn't matter. Leaks of classified information at the top levels of the defense structure to the press ought to be prosecuted because even if you wish for this war to reach some sort of crappy negotiated solution, if you want the US to have a stronger hand in those negotiations, you cannot. You simply cannot be. Speaking, dissension within the ranks, supposed shortcomings in terms of materiel, the Washington Post for like the 18th consecutive time, and I have my suspicions as to, let's say, which wing of the administration is doing the leaking. I do not think it is a mystery wrapped in an enigma. Who exactly is doing the leaking at this point inside the administration? I don't think anybody who's been watching this closely has a lot of doubts as to who's doing it. But according to the Washington Post, several US military leaders have advised Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to confront threats elsewhere, including the US homeland. According to people familiar with the recent assessment prepared for the Pentagon chief, the warnings detailed for Hegseth by the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and the four-star commanders overseeing US operations throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America appear in the August 14th edition of the Secretary of Defense Orders book. According to those people, they described the assessment to the Washington Post on the condition of anonymity because the document is classified. Every single person who is leaking this stuff to the Washington Post needs to be identified, fired, and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. This is insane. These leaks have to stop. They are a fact. They are, in fact, a treasonous act. It is a treasonous act to leak that information. Now, the administration is taking the bizarre position that the real problem here is the press. The problem here is not the press. The problem here is the members of the administration who are leaking. They should be tracked down. Put the people on it inside the Pentagon whose job it is to prevent the leaks. Sean Parnell over at the Defense Department said publishing highly classified assessments from the secretary's orders book is a crime. It's a betrayal of the force and much of what they're publishing is inaccurate. Of course, we demand candid military advice. None concurs our standard. The secretary sees them constantly. That's how you run a real military. The story isn't about readiness. It's TDS and PDS. They hate President Trump and Secretary Hegseth more than they love America. Now, again, that's true. Identify the leakers and prosecute them to the full extent of the law. And none of that should be controversial. Back in 2010, Barack Obama literally fired the top Afghanistan commander, Stanley McChrystal, not for leaking information, but for simply talking in disparaging ways about him. And then he was replaced by David Petraeus. So there's a long history of this sort of stuff. Pete Hegseth was asked about reports that missile stockpiles are running low. Here was his answer.

Speaker 20Did the United States use both military, use both unitary and... Why would I answer? I mean, this is kind of stupid question I would never answer. Like, why would I answer a question about whether we do or do not have certain types of munitions? I will tell you, I have 110%. I'll tell you, we have one. I would never answer that question. An American press is foolish to want to press an American War Department about where we may or may not be on classified, exquisite systems. We had plenty when we needed it. And we have plenty now. And we'll have plenty when we'll need them in the future.
Speaker 1Again, whether that's true or whether it's not true, the bottom line is whoever is leaking to the press needs to be identified. The leakiness inside the Defense Department, the leakiness coming from state, whoever is leaking this stuff, other offices in the executive branch, those leakers need to be identified and put behind bars immediately. Immediately. And meanwhile, on other foreign policy news, Delcy Rodriguez, who is the dictator of Venezuela, she announced a historic agreement with the United States. She said, Venezuela announced a historic agreement with the United States government, which will have a significant impact on our nation's revival. The initiative is the result of strengthening of relations between Venezuela and the United States, but will facilitate a significant flow of investment aimed at the recovery and reconstruction of strategic and international relations. for the development of our hydrocarbons industry. And she expressed gratitude to President Trump and Marco Rubio and all the rest. So it calls for a significant increase in production and the development of 17 strategic fields with the proven potential of 65 billion barrels of oil, an investment of more than $100 billion and more than $209 billion in taxes for the state. Apparently, this is an energy agreement that will remain in force for 25 years. This is an initial goal to raise crude output to 1.5 million barrels. President Trump said that he's going to fill the strategic national reserves with Venezuelan oil. He says the topping out process will begin very shortly and is a gift from Venezuela to the people of the United States. Thank you. Okay, so I'm very much in favor of what the president has done in Venezuela. With that said, every foreign policy initiative ends the day the president leaves office. That's the way this works. I don't care whether the successor is J.D. Vance or the successor is a Democrat. When it comes to Venezuela, a Democrat in the White House will kill all these initiatives and the people left in power will be people who work for Nicolas Maduro. That's who is currently in power. The next two and a half years need to be spent transitioning the Venezuelan government away from Delcy Rodriguez and toward the actual opposition leadership, people like Maria Machado. We should be gripping Venezuela by the throat and we should be telling them if Maria Machado goes back, is on the ground, if she is harmed in any way, we grip you by the throat harder. Because again, the next administration from a Democrat will not give a crap about oil production. They'll try to stop it based on global warming nonsense and redistributionist ideals. If you want to effectuate actual change, it is not enough to just effectuate regime behavior change, especially not when you are talking about long-run proposals. That change is the minute Trump's out of office. So now would be a time not just to make oil deals but to attach conditions that would allow for a transition of power in Venezuela.
