Ep. 2480 - Radical Islam INVADES The US Senate?!

Are you prepared for the Islamic invasion? Well, Democrats sure are. It turns out that all the same people who call Donald Trump a Nazi are perfectly happy hanging out with Muslim Brotherhood fellow travelers, terrorism defenders, blatant Jew haters. Hell, they'll put one in the Senate if they can, and they will call you an Islamophob for noticing. That's the magic of Abdul El Sayyed, the newest face of the Democratic Party. A full-scale terrorism defender and advocate for socialism, and now the Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, and all the rest of the Democrats are falling right into line. They couldn't be more enthused, and of course it's not just El Sayyed, it's on Mamdani in New York, and El Han Omar in Minnesota, and issued to leave in Michigan and at a Himali in New Jersey. In fact, it's the entire Muslim Brotherhood. Yesterday, every Senate Democrat walked out on a hearing investigating the evils of that terrorist group, because the terrorist supporters are now part of the tent. We'll get to all of that. Plus, Anthony Fauci held and contempt by his Senate committee, and Tucker Carlson made a major announcement last night. Did he announce a third party? Well, no, but he did announce something vital. America should be good, much, much good, or get to all of that and more. This is the Ben Shapiro Show. So, just a quick recap for people who have not been following the Abdul Rahman, El Sayyed, Saga playing out in Michigan. So, Abdul Rahman, El Sayyed, I'm saying his name properly because I've been told that if I don't, this makes me an Islamophob. I can, in fact, pronounce his name Abdul Rahman, El Sayyed. This is the guy that Democrats chose for the Senate in Michigan. This is who they chose. And I want to reintroduce you to Abdul Rahman, El Sayyed, because if you don't know who he is, you should know who he is because Democrats would love for this guy to run for the Senate. And then maybe for president, he is American born after all because we decided to be an amazing idea to import a crap load of people who hate America. In any case, flashback. This is a couple months ago. There was a radical Muslim from Dearborn, Michigan who decided to drive a car directly into a Jewish preschool. And El Sayyed was asked about this. He was standing alongside terrorism supporter Hassan Piker at the time, which was somewhat uncomfortable or you might have thought it was uncomfortable. And El Sayyed's answer as to his feelings on, you know, a Muslim trying to murder a bunch of Jewish small toddlers for the crime of being Jewish was that, you know, it's basically the same as when Israel blows up a member of his blood and Lebanon because hurt people, hurt people. And that's what's one in the United States Senate, like not the, not the middle Eastern parliament, United States Senate. You know, when it comes to temple Israel, I was profoundly shaken. Many of my friends growing up worshiped the temple Israel. Nothing justifies the heinous attack that we saw on temple Israel. And you know, I stand in solidarity with my Jewish sisters and brothers for an America where that kind of thing never happens again. I also think it's just critical for us to understand that people do hurt people. And the circumstances happening 6,000 miles away can affect the lives that we live here. And if we stand against violence, we got to stand against violence, all violence. So you see what happened in this particular case is that the, the attempted murderer from Dearborn, his brother was a member of his beloved who was killed by the IDF in Lebanon. He decided to be a great idea to go murder Jewish school children in Detroit. And El Sayed said these are the same thing. This is the person they want. And of course, you'll recall because we played it a few times Abdul Rahman El Sayed explaining on a tape that he didn't know was going to be made public that he would not in fact talk about how the death of itala Chamele was good because too many people in Dearborn would be sad about that. By the way, Dearborn, of course, a massive Muslim enclave in Michigan. Muslims in Dearborn, according to Vox, voted at about 90% for El Sayed, which is the entire political strategy. I talked about this earlier this week. The political strategy for Democrats is fine. An incredibly radicalized hard cohort of people to vote for a candidate like El Sayed and then builds around that hardened cohort. You got 40, 50,000 people going to vote for a guy. Well, that's a pretty good solid base to build around so long as you are willing to ingest all of the poison that that group is spewing, which in this particular case is radical Islamic pro-terror nonsense. Here is Abdul El Sayed. Because people in Dearborn are sad about the death of a mass murdering piece of human refugees like Ayatollah Kamehnai, they want this guy and this again, this isn't really about the people in Dearborn. I think we know what the people in Dearborn think. This is about a democratic party as we'll get to that has decided that not only is this fine, it is praiseworthy, it is part of the coalition now, it is a defining part of the coalition. Abdul El Sayed has deleted a bunch of his old tweets. One of those tweets happened 9/11/2021. Today, I'm more in the 3000 lives, 6000 injuries and infrastructural devastation in New York City perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my faith. Tomorrow, I will mourn, he won million lives, millions of injuries in infrastructural devastation in three countries perpetrated ignorantly in the name of my country. Again, so 9/11 and you know, our responding to 9/11 the same. This is the moral equivalence that terrorists, supporters constantly do, always and forever. What they will say is that, oh, I don't love Hamas, but I just got to say, anybody who responds to Hamas is the same as Hamas. Okay, that is just a defensive terrorism. It is. So, you're not going to equate a murderer and the person trying to stop the murderer, you are de facto pro-mergerer. That's how this works. There is Abdul Sayed again, saying this to CNN. He said Israel government is evil, do you think that justice is evil as Hamas? Yes, killing tens of thousands of people makes you pretty damn evil. It's not how evil is this one versus that one. Hamas evil. Israel government evil. We could say both. Is Netanyahu in your view, or what? He's a warm criminal. Absolutely. Do you not think he is? When you conduct a genocide, you're a warm criminal. Okay, I mean, this is, again, Democrats want this guy. They want this guy. They're mobilizing behind this guy. It's not just about his politics with regard to terrorism. Now, again, there are a lot of people today. Why did Apex spend so much money to try to defeat him in a prime, maybe it's because he's a radical pro-terrorism Islamist. Maybe that would be the reason. I think the better question would be, why did anybody else put up money? And I would hope that now that it's a Republican versus Democrat race. Now that you have a norm like Mike Rogers running, I'd hope money pours into Michigan to stop Abdul El-Sahed. And then it doesn't have to come from American Jews who are concerned just about El-Sahed being a radical anti-Semitic piece of trash. And El-Sahed is not just about the Middle East. El-Sahed, obviously, is all the things. He's all the things. In September of 2021, he put out a tweet called blaming horses for the dudes riding them to whip Haitian refugees like blaming Haiti for the fact they're coming. How about asking how our policies decimate Caribbean and Central American and so many other countries and why we allow white supremacists to police our borders again? He says that CBP are white supremacists and that every migrant wave is the responsibility of the United States. Far left, Howard Zinn, Bernie Sanders, nonsense, obviously. He also erased thousands of old social media posts just a few weeks back, including a dozen tweets that championed defunding the police, describing the police as standing armies and urging cities to divert money from law enforcement to social services. Quote, "The police have become standing armies we deploy against our own people." He suggested that 83,000 black Americans die every year because of racism and racism is a public health issue. This is who he is. He is a radical. He is a member of the Red Green Alliance. I've been talking about this incessantly for literally years. For many, many years actually, the crossover between the radical Islamists who hate the West and want to see it rip down. And the radical commies who want to see the West rip down for the same reason. And you can see that coalition in action. It's a second. We'll get to how Abdul-El Sayed won is a really, really interesting story. But it does speak to something true about the country. We're headed for some rough times. Text Ben to metals to get started. So how did L.C.I.E.D. win the answer is he won rich white people and Muslims. That was his dominant voting base. Black voters did not like Abdul Al-Sahyad. Poor black voters did not like Abdul Al-Sahyad. Poor white voters did not like Abdul Al-Sahyad. They preferred Haley Stevens. Al-Sahyad was walking away with Hamtrak. He was walking away with Durborn. And he was walking away with the rich rich areas that were voting in this Democratic primary. Again, he only won the Democratic Senate nomination by 1%. And when the highest income county in Michigan livingston county, Haley Stevens won the lowest income county, Lake County. Al-Sahyad won the most educated county, Washington County by 24%. According to Frank Lunds, LSA had 158.4% of the vote in counties where at least 30% of adults have a college degree. Haley Stevens, 151.4% of the vote in counties were less than 30% of adults went to college. And as I say, LSA had took at least 80% of the vote in zero-born in the primary and probably 90% plus of the Muslim vote in zero-born because not all of the zero-born is Muslim. This is not a point that is being made just by me. This is a point being made by Harry Anton. But again, the new Democratic coalition is a combination of elitists and dispossessed minority groups who think that America ought to be ripped down to the studs. In your navy blue, you've got Haley Stevens and your Columbia blue, you've got Abdul-Assad and what you see here is you see that Haley Stevens did particularly well in this corridor and what's in this corridor? Well there are a lot of working class voters and a lot of African American voters. Abdul-Assad did very poorly amongst these groups in the primary. It's going to be very interesting to see whether or not he can bring them into the tent, come the general election, bring those swing voters with them because where Abdul-Assad did well to be honest with you, we're really just college towns. That's where he really ran up the score. Okay, so what does this mean for the general election? Well, it is certainly better for Republicans that Abdul-Assad is the nominee for the Democrats. This is a point that President Trump was making on Truth Social. He said great news for the Republican Party. Al-Assad, a communist loser who hates Jews in Israel is the projected winner in his race with the Socialists. As usual, the polls were way off on this one, by the way, there is a fairly good theory that these were push polls. That a lot of these polls, the polls were showing al-Assad up by like 1314 points. That is a great way of demoralizing support for Haley Stevens. Okay, but put that aside. He says she was not expected to do nearly as well as she did. Now the Democrats' crazy policies will only get worse. According to the Calhoun markets, the democratic chances of retaining that Michigan sentencing, remember they had been in control of that Michigan sentencing. Now it's open, have been dropping fairly steadily since El-Sahed was nominated. As it became clear that he was the nominee, their shot has been dropping. So the Calhoun markets currently have El-Sahed at a 58% of people think that he's going to win 43% of people think that Mike Rogers is going to win. Rogers' numbers have just been rising at this point. But again, the bigger issue here is that the Democratic Party has decided this is all totally fine with them in the same way that the Labor Party in Great Britain decided to just ingest from the well of Islamist anti-Semitism and spew it back out under Jeremy Corbyn. The Democratic Party in America is doing exactly the same thing. The new leaders of the Democratic Party are people like Abdul-Assad and so on, Mamdani. He resorts Mamdani, championing all of this, of course. He ran a campaign where it was best described by his words of money out of politics, money in your pocket, Medicare for all. And if those simple commitments and beliefs are what drives Representative Johnson to these kinds of conclusions, I think it shows you how deeply out of touch the Republican Party is with the concerns of working class Americans. What we have seen is despite him facing more than $60 million in outside spending, he was able to prevail with a focus on a cost of living crisis and the way in which health care is exceedingly out of reach for those who have helped to make this country what it is. Man, the code switching is incredible. The willingness to immediately just go back to normal Democratic rhetoric, the minute that the cameras turn on for the norweg Democrat audience for the John Stuart's of the world. But then when you're on the campaign trail, you are talking like full scale radicalism. So it's radical Islamist and communist in the sheets. And then traditional Democrat in the streets is sort of the rule here. Well, Elizabeth Warren couldn't be happier. She was out there with Pramila Jayapal and Chris Van Hollen, the dumbest member of the United States Senate, maybe, maybe her, Mazee Herona still exists as a human. She says Abdul-Assad yet represents the leadership working families need. Oh, you mean with his like $700,000 salary and his role, is that that's the working family leadership that and his wife who doesn't accept insurance? He's fighting to break the chokehold corporations have in our government so people can afford to put food on the table and visit the doctor. Again, this is Democrats willing to fellow travel with the Islamists in order to promote what they think they can just raft off of the energy and then understand they're going to get eaten from the inside. They will. Gavin Newsom doing the semi-sacthing. Congratulations Abdul-Assad on a hard fought victory. Trump and the GOP are trying everything to rig the rules and silence voters, but they can't stop a Democratic Party united around working people and the working people did not vote for Abdul-Assad. They voted for Haley Stevens. But again, they're trying to cram this square peg of radical Islamic communism into the round hole of sort of the traditional Democratic Party. It's not going to work. So Senator John Fetterman again, apparently the last rational human in the number of Democratic Party. This is listen, I don't think it's my job to come together with somebody who thinks that America basically deserves 9/11 because any speaking here of El Sayed campaigning with Hassan Piker who literally said that America deserve 9/11. So you think he could lose to Mike Rogers? Oh, 100% that's possible with that a doubt. I mean, the polling seems to indicate that it is in danger. How should members of your party, the Democratic Party, come together to defeat the Republican candidate? Yeah, well, I can't come together with someone if you are willing to embrace people that loves Hamas or that thinks America deserve 9/11. Okay, so he is right about that, but again, now the Democratic Party has decided that Fetterman is on the out and Fetterman who won in a purple state. Now, El Sayed may win, but he may also very well not win. Fetterman did win in a very competitive race in Pennsylvania and they're ready to go after him. Listen, El Sayed, he's Fetterman as his bet and a lot of course because Fetterman is pro-Israel. Fetterman is voted with the Democrats on every economic matter. He just doesn't want to break the filibuster or destroy Israel and this is why El Sayed wants his head on a pike that is a direct quote. That's the best thing about the way they're doing this is if I win, you're just like, well, you all came at me, so now I get to come at you. And you know, I'm aerating people like John Fetterman, I have no problem to do that. Like I'm looking forward to it. And people like, "Oh, we don't primary the set, I'm like, watch me do it." You know what I mean? Like, tell me why I should stop. You know what I mean? You're spending 60 million in being me. Okay. To complain about that game, you know what I mean? So, you know, and then what happens is ideally you put one ogre on a pike and then everyone else gets the message and all of a sudden starts this out a lot different. Heads on pikes for Abdul Al Sayed. We're, well, John Stewart then blamed Fetterman. It's, of course, because John Stewart, again, all John Stewart cares about because he's such a partisan hack is the maintenance of the Democratic Coalition. And if it turns out that coalition includes people who, if they had a shot and we were in a foreign country, would behead John Stewart, because John Stewart is a Jew, then, you know, it doesn't really matter to John Stewart. I love John Stewart's willful ignorance about all of this. It is pretty incredible. Now, again, John Stewart is his Jewish as a ham sandwich. I mean, he's the same thing as Bernie Sanders. He doesn't practice Judaism. He doesn't have any relationship with Judaism. He doesn't care about Judaism. He doesn't care about Israel. He doesn't care about any Jewish principles. He just puts on the Jew hat every so often so that he can claim to speak in the name of the Jews while excusing anti-Semitism or Islamism. But here he was going after John Fetterman. Why are you blaming them when in some ways you could be blaming yourself and your colleagues? It's not, well, I'm not blaming. I'm describing here where we are and what's happening now too. And I'm like, when we have people winning elections saying absurd kinds of positions that were absolutely toxic back in 2020 and saying, stop saying these kind of extreme things are not workable in the real world overall. This Islamization of the individual leads that person to reject Western norms of pluralism individual rights and the secular rule of law. Next, the individual's family is transformed in the society and then the state. Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood movement. Also, it turns out that the Muslim Brotherhood is deeply, deeply intertwined with the founders of the Council on American Islamic Relations. The Muslim Brotherhood identified the media as stronger than politics and highlighted the importance of training activists to present a view of groups associated with the Brotherhood. That would be acceptable to Americans. One of the founders of the Council on American Islamic Relations, which is constantly the group that is trotted out as the so-called moderate Muslim voice, which it is not moderate at all. One of its founders explicitly suggested the need for infiltrating the American media outlets, universities and research centers. And again, many of these documents that were uncovered showing the Muslim Brotherhood's influence were uncovered in the so-called Holy Land 5 trial. The Holy Land Foundation was a pseudo-chartable organization that was funneling money to Muslim Brotherhood-associated terror groups. You'll remember that Zor Mamdani did a rap calling for the freedom of the Holy Land 5. And they are connected to the Muslim American Society established in 1993 by Brotherhood leaders, the Islamic Society of North America established in 1981, the Muslim Students Association, the Holy Land Foundation. Care was established in 1994 by two activists directly linked to the Islamic Association from Palestine and the Muslim Brotherhood. And of course, care was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case. Okay, so there was a hearing yesterday in the Senate. And the Democrats universally said we will not attend because it might turn Islamophobic. You see, to actually condemn radical Islamic terror groups would be Islamophobic. Of course, they're going to say that because it turns out that Abdul El Sayed has ties with a bunch of Muslim Brotherhood-associated groups. It was created by a former care member who at one time was on a terror watch list and was also a consultant to convicted terrorist, Samuel Arian. Okay, so again, these links are real. Does the Muslim Brotherhood also partner with political groups such as the Democratic Socialist of America? Yes, sir, they do. Now, that's just the beginning. Doesn't mean he's going to jail. And once a contempt resolution passes by committee, it then heads to the Senate floor for a full vote. Ron Paul, a Rand Paul rather, Senator Rand Paul, he would like to skip that step all together and instead just refer this directly to the US Attorney for the D's, the District of Columbia. That makes sense because of course if it goes to the full Senate for a vote, it'll get filibustered. Now, that's what Senator Gary Peters of Michigan is accusing Paul of doing. He's suggesting that the goal here would be to stime me, this obviously by the Democrats. The contempt resolution alleges that Fauci's use of the Fifth Amendment is unsupported because of Joe Biden's pardon, right? Remember Joe Biden pardon him for all activities. He's going to claim that he is still eligible for prosecution in the States or that the pardon isn't completely comprehensive. Theoretically, contempt of Congress is punishable with a fine and up to one year in prison. So listen, I think he should go to jail. I think Anthony Fauci lied to Congress multiple times. I do not think that this is this is some sort of far-fetched thing. See, Ben and Lentz, for contempt of Congress. I'm not sure exactly why Anthony Fauci shouldn't go to jail for contempt of Congress. Again, Rand Paul would like to send this directly to the DOJ for possible prosecution. Even if there's a possible prosecution, you're going to have to get a grand jury to sign off on it and then presumably you'd have to go before a judge who'd also sign off on the prosecution of Fauci. Now, what this really comes down to from a sort of legalistic perspective is whether you can, in fact, invoke the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering any questions once you've already been pardoned. And that is a bit of an open question. Historically speaking, the answer is no. Historically speaking, once you've been pardoned, the Fifth Amendment is designed to protect you from answering questions on the basis that you might be incriminating yourself and then you might go to jail. So if the threat of jail has been relieved and this is very frequently done, where you will see in criminal trials, for example, you will see the prosecution essentially waive prosecution in order to compel somebody to testify because you can no longer declare the Fifth. What Fauci is going to claim is that there are still extraneous things that he could say that would get him charged that again, there are state level things. There are things that are not covered by the pardon and all of the rest. So we'll have to see how all of this plays out. My guess is that that the DOJ will take this up and we'll play that process out. And again, I think that Anthony Fauci was lying to Congress and the American people on a fairly routine basis, which is terrible. It really is. Because again, he entered when he was first the guy that the Trump administration decided to try out there. He was highly trusted by the American people and then he proceeded to say a bunch of things that were not true. And now we have his diaries and we have a cell phone and we know all of the things that he was privately saying and they did not accord with the stuff that he was publicly saying. And when you feed that data to the American public, people will believe it because again, you are in a position of authority. And that is a sin and you should in fact pay penalty for that. A very significant penalty for all of that. Okay, so back to the infiltration of radical Islam into the United States. The horseshoe right is very excited about Abdul El Sayed and are totally unbothered by the invasion of radical Islam into the West. That was it because he's not in fact launching a third party. He was just doing a monologue and he wanted you to watch by taking a picture with a bunch of idiots inside his main mansion with the guest on the guest on chandelier with the with the hours. So he laid out what his program would be if you were running for president which he absolutely is not. And he started off before that. The really important part of this is how much blackpilling he is doing. Right. So again, I've been saying for a long time, Tucker Carlson is a demoralization agent. His job in the American public discourse is to make you believe that the entire system is rigged and horrible. That a conspiratorial elite control everything about your life. And there's no solution for any of this other than to listen to him and buy Alp. That is the only solution. We basically said as much yesterday. On the issues that really matter, the most obvious and historically significant expressions of exertion of power which would be foreign policy and the budget tax code. The parties are aligned. And you're all just being bamboozled. So you might say yourself, well, Tucker, why don't you, I mean, you basically implied that you were going to launch a third party. Why don't you just do that? Is the question. And the answer, the hard answer is no. Because when you hear people say, well, there's no political solution to this. Well, of course, you're rooting for political solution because the alternative is something, you know, kinetic, as they say, and you don't want that. You don't want violence if any kind. But you also know that there are no political solutions to anything really in any system. There's no solution. The blackpiling. The only alternative is violence. But you also know there are no solutions. We don't want violence. Violence would be terrible. And there are no solutions other than violence. We want to launch a third party. You're not going to believe this. He wants America to be more fairer and also more prettier and less fatter but also more smarter and gooder. Just generally, you know, gooder. So many things bad things should stop being bad, but also good things should be even gooder than they are. Every building in Mississippi should look like Versailles, but also all the products should be cheap. You should be a farmer but he shouldn't be. He should live in a cabin in Maine, he should talk into a microphone. And we should burn down the banks because of usury, but also here's a mortgage ad. Also everything should be more affordable while raising the price of all inputs. Also you should be wise, but the best way to be wise is to listen to this Nazi larper that he had on his podcast yesterday. Let's get to some of the details here. So Tucker says that America should be fair, equal treatment of everyone, human dignity and stuff. And then he says that America should be sovereign. Of course, the implication here is that America is not sovereign that we are being enslaved by the Udden over in Israel. Also it turns out he says that debt is slavery and user is equivalent to totalitarian control just as much as communism is, which is weird because typically when you take out a loan that is you volunteering into the loan. communism is usually someone putting a gun to your head and taking your property from you. I don't think those are quite the same thing. And it turns out that as ugly as things like payday lenders are, when you get rid of them, people just go to the black market because eight no credible lender going to give you money if you have no credit score and aren't going to pay back the money. He says that America should be productive. You know as opposed to right now when we are the most productive country in the history of the world. But what does he mean by productive he means that we should have blind dwarves who make handcrafted chairs and they should be members of a German guild that learn to make chairs from their ancestors from oak and perhaps from maple several hundred years ago. There's been of course this long debate about the manufacturing sector. Of course it wasn't a debate. There were a couple wackos like Ross Perot and Papu can and like wait we need to make things. Oh shut up. You don't understand capitalism said Ben Shapiro's parents or whoever was arguing at the time. My parents? You don't understand capitalism. It's really about my fish and sand. My dad was playing piano at a restaurant and my mom was making it over there and we reaped the benefit of it. And secretary of the time, Rowley. If you can and people like him would say but don't we kind of lose something we don't make anything. Oh shut up. You don't understand economics. But you don't have to understand economics to know that they were absolutely right. That you are judged by the things you make but you also judge yourself by the things you make which is to say your dignity and self respect come from doing something useful and or beautiful something worth having. Well, what is the thing that is useful and or beautiful other than the Indian made nicotine pouches the Tucker is hawking on his website again. We should manufacture certain things in America things that are crucial to national security. We should manufacture in America. There are many things that we make in America better than are made elsewhere. But here's a reality. I know he's a painful economics because we're supposed to pretend economics doesn't exist because we live in utopia land where the otters are plentiful. But economics is the study of trade offs. You cannot say that things should be both affordable and also made more expensively here in America. That's not how it works. That is not how it works. If you want to make all the t-shirts here instead of Vietnam, they will be significantly more expensive. If you want to make an iPhone here with all of the parts, all of the parts you are talking about a multiple of the price of the iPhone. You cannot complain about affordability while simultaneously suggesting that we need to manufacture everything here at home. That is not how trade works. That is not how division of labor works. That is not how economics works at all. And I know that again, he's kind of throw away. Well, who cares about economics? Economics is just a reflection of underlying reality. It's about the distribution of scarce resources. If you don't have a plan other than just yelling, I don't know what your plan is, Medude. And again, I don't see Tucker volunteering to go work a 10 hour day at the local Ford factory riveting in the style of 1955 Americans. Okay, other things he says. He says that America should be beautiful. He says everything in America has gotten uglier since 1960. Well, I mean, to be fair, there are a lot of government buildings that really got ugly since 1960 because there is a brutalist movement in architecture that's pretty horrifying. So I don't disagree with that. And of course, you should care about your streets being clean and beautiful. Da. I mean, again, his entire program here is a mullage of the perfectly obvious and the utterly insipid that is the entire thing. And then he says that if you that you're not Albert Spear, meaning the Nazi architect, if you care about your street being clean and who's calling Albert Spear for that. And you're more like Albert Spear. If you host Nazi larpers on your program two days ago, that's more like Albert Spear actually. But I'm also in favor of building pretty things. I am. Also, it seems to me that utility matters and awful lot to Americans and always has. If you go all the way back to the tokeville, he was talking about the fact that Americans were not building European style buildings when they were moving out west. They're building cabins very often and bending those cabins and then moving further west because America is a very, very utility driven country. We actually like things to be affordable and usable. Okay. Anyway, he says America should be healthy. And he talks to about being sober and as close to our natural state as possible since he's a dry drunk, I suppose that there's something to and you're speaking to somebody who literally has never tried drugs and doesn't drink. So I'm very much in favor of sobriety actually. Of course, I am also not selling addictive nicotine pouches, but you know, there we are. Sobriety is no longer the goal and it should be. It's not esoteric. It's not weird. It's like some eccentric desire to be sober. Everyone should be sober all the time. There's nothing wrong with that. What's wrong is what we have now where everyone's half-addled and you talk to your boss, it worked. This has happened to me and you see that kind of vacant, shark-like stare that suggests like no real human emotion. What's that? It's called Xanax. It's also physically addictive and you can die going off it. But doctors are prescribing that for years, really. Same with that are all. It makes you crazy. It gives you mental illness if you use it long enough that people do. Why is that okay? And why the social sanction for saying so out loud? It doesn't make you weird some chia seed eating health nut to not take drugs, including drugs that were prescribed for serious illness. Like maybe all of those aren't necessary. I don't know what's at the conversation. I don't know. Okay, well, you know, I'm okay. I also believe that there's an over prescription crisis in the United States. You know who I'm going to talk to about that? People watching notion. I can't just talk to Carlson talk about his prescription medication recommendations with regard to mental health. But come on. There are actual people who are credible in this space. Is he going to have those? I hope he would. Why not? He should. But I knew nobody's ranting about here. We all agree. America's over prescribed. There are too many people who are on SSRI. Like all of that is true. All of it's true. So what is even ranting about before selling the help? He also says that America should be honest, which is an astonishing contention from one of the most dishonest people in American politics. A man who literally lies, bald face to the New York Times, literally says he didn't say a thing that he clearly was on tape saying. And he does that kind of crap all the time. When caught in his light just goes, I don't even know what that means. The anti-Christ, I mean, I call Trump the end. What is the anti-Christ? I don't think about it. I don't know. I mean, I can tell you. I wouldn't know. I might say, oh, oh, oh. So here he was talking about how America needs to be more honest and the way that you can be more honest is by spreading conspiracy theories about how probably the Jews did 9/11 or something. So something will happen. happen, history changing event like 9/11. And parts of it will seem self-evidently obvious like what happened, planes for underbuildings, but some of it like building seven, which collapse for still no explicable reason, are totally confusing. 25 years ago, like what was that? And so people asked those questions because why wouldn't they? Anyone who's awake looks at that and says, "Hmm, that's weird." And then that person is screamed at as it can spare sea theorist, a wacko, you're an anti-semit, you must be a Nazi if you have questions about building seven. Okay, well, there's a very fast way to settle that debate and it's by declassifying the documents that might shed light, factual light on what actually happened. What documents does he think exists that shed, quote unquote, the actual light? Like what is he speculating? Anyway, he then says America should be optimistic, which is hilarious from the biggest doom pillar in American politics. From the guy who says that there's no salt, he led this off with there's no salt for anything politically in the United States, third parties won't help. And if this were real country, people would be violence in the streets also optimism, optimism. It is hard to think of someone more pessimistic about the state of America than Tucker Carlson right now. And then he said that America should be wise. Now again, when I think about lasting wisdom, I don't think I'm going to go to the dude who is talking with Russian propagandists this week and who somehow thinks that Russia is a model of governance. Right, here we go. One of the first things you'd want to do is teach your children something of use in order to participate meaningfully in the future in order to help them. And what would you want to do to your kids? Educate them? Obviously not. You'd want to make them wise. So wisdom is the goal. Wise. Living in a wise country is the goal. Instead of trying to like figure out how to code, it might be worth teaching your children about the things that don't change like human nature. Human nature is unchanging. The behavior of people in say the book of Chronicles written 3,000 years ago is totally recognizable to us. Homorobys code, the first written law addresses the way people behave on the basis of the way people still behave now, thousands of years later. Oh my god, it's all just platitudes. It's platitudes combined with, it's just a bleepstand which obviously. And then he says America should be decent. By decent he means that we need to actually just apologize for anything that we do abroad and probably we should never have a military again. So there's that. He also says that rewarding investment bankers more than wage workers is indecent. Who's doing the rewarding, Medude? Okay, when you invest, you are taking a risk. Risk has upside and also downside. Wage workers receive a wage from whom do they receive that wage? Not from Tucker Carlson, generally speaking. But there's me with my knowing economics again. I know it's annoying. It's annoying to know things. It's annoying. And then he says America needs to be united. Tucker Carlson says America needs to be united. Perhaps the most divisive political figure in America says we need to make America more united. Now again, I agree with some of his prescriptions about, say, mass migration. He's against it. So am I. And he says that English should be the official language of the United States. Agreed. Agreed. But this idea that Tucker Carlson is some sort of great unifier is bizarre world. So okay, here's the thing. All of this is superfluous because we have had for many, many decades, in fact, centuries, a vision for what America ought to be, particularly a vision for government, which is the business that we are all in, right? It's talking about public policy. It comes from our founding fathers. It is embedded in these two documents that we all used to know. One was called the Declaration of Independence and the other was the Constitution. I know we don't talk about those things anymore because we're post liberals now. We've decided these are bad, but it turns out they're actually pretty great. I'll talk about this tonight at Mount Vernon, the estate of George Washington. But here is a basic framework. You are made in the image of God. We know this from the Bible and also because it's just true. You are a creative choosing being with duties in the world. You as a human being are capable of great good and also great sin. This means that a successful nation must be built on three foundations. One, social virtue because parchment barriers mean nothing to an immoral people. This is something that Washington said. It's something that Adams said. We need to teach virtue, right? Goodness. Meaning in life is not derived from your government. It is derived from family, church, community, God, exercise of your creativity in the form of duty, patriotism. That means we have to inculcate truth in our children, not conspiratorial, black, peeling crap, not lies about how terrible our kids have it, worse than any other kids, and how nothing can solve their problems. And they have no responsibility. Actual truth, which is most of your problems are solvable in your own hands. Second, freedom because a government large enough to impose its will on every aspect of your life is a government large enough to destroy all of your freedoms and liberties and yester virtues. We have because we are made in the image of God, private, property rights. We have speech rights and we have religious freedom rights and we have gun rights. The federal government does not have the capability or the right to overrule you here. Your choices matter. And if properly exercise, they make the world better because you know better for your family than those people do. And finally, strength because we face enemies that hate our vision of the world. Not weakness because America is somehow uniquely sinful, we aren't. I know this has become, you know, kind of passe, to say, we America, we are the good guys in the world. That is not jingle wisdom, that is realism. The Russians are not the good guys. The Russian regime is horrific. The Chinese are not the good guys. The Chinese regime is evil. The Iranians are not the good guys. The Iranian regime is absolutely terrible. We are the good guys. We are better than anyone else. We got our own problems, got our own issues, but America is the shining city on the hill compared to the rest of humanity. And if you think otherwise, honestly, you should get out of the country truly. You should just leave. You should. Now, what does this all mean in practice? What is Tucker actually doing here? Okay, here's what he's actually doing. He's just forming a DSA from the right. Right? That's what he's doing. Megan Kelly is, I think, ignorant enough to believe that Tucker is going to run for president. He has no such intention of running for president. Listen, Megan wants to be in with Tucker. Obviously, that's fine. It's her prerogative. She wants to be friends and go to dinner and go fishing and all that kind of that. That's who Megan is. And here she was talking up the Tucker Carlson third party that doesn't exist. Tucker's life that are run for president as I am to move to India and start my cricket career. I just don't think it's going to happen. Just disagree. Just don't think you, what he might do it as a lark, but it's a credible campaign. I don't believe it. I don't believe the supports there for I got to tell you I disagree. I haven't talked to him directly about it. But what would the I believe Tucker so disgusted? Yeah. And the, you know, the Neocons and what's happened within the Republican Party that for the first time, he actually would consider it. I just I just don't see a practical base of support. The Neocons again, listening to to Megan Kelly wax poetic about the Neocons. She's been conservative for five minutes and then wasn't again and then was again and then wasn't anyway. Here's the actual strategy again, it's a DSA from the right. That's what Tucker wants. He wants to put out his melange of stupidity and lies and total platitudes. And then he wants to blackmail the Republican party that he might walk away if they don't accept it, which is smart. I mean, honestly, it is. I'll give him that. It's tactically bright. He's trying to run against the status quo, which is Trump, which is always a sort of rich vein to mind. And then he's suggesting that he's the one who's going to clock VP Vance into the new right. And the convenient thing for him is that of course he and Vance agree with a lot of this sort of stuff. Tucker and Vance are close friends and Vance has never sat across a word about Tucker Carlson. And again, he repeats many of the same sort of talking points that Tucker spews. And here was JD Vance just the other night with with Laura Ingram talking in kind of the same terms as Tucker does about economic policy. The past 40 years of economic policy, bipartisan economic policy have failed. I think a lot of people look at LCI or a lot of these other radical candidates and they say socialism is evil. They're right. Socialism is evil. But we have to ask ourselves the question, why is socialism so appealing to a lot of people who to your point have lower assets who don't have the same ownership, who went to universities and were sold a bill of goods? They got a lot of debt, but they didn't necessarily get the good jobs that came along with that high debt load. Right 40 years of bipartisan economic policy have failed and what we need is a nationalist economic positive. Okay. So in other words, in the end, all this is just K-Fab. I'll just wrestling fakery. It's Kabuki theater. Well, listen, the important thing is the Tucker got some clicks and he probably sold some nicotine, you know, for your health. That's the really important thing.
