Ep. 2472 - Fauci's Diary REVEALED.... And What It Shows Is Ugly

The bad guys always think they're the heroes. Anthony Fauci, remember him? Well, it turns out that perhaps the best predictor of monstrously egotistical behavior is if you have a giant portrait of yourself in your house. Because now we know. Anthony Fauci was a fame-obsessed publicity hand who was willing to use power to subvert the truth. That's not speculation, that's just reality. Because Anthony Fauci kept eight diary, 1100 pages of an diary, and Rand Paul just dropped all of it. Here's the thing about his diary. It's where you write what you actually think, not what you tell the cameras. And what Anthony Fauci told the country, and what he wrote in private, turned out to be kind of different stories. Wait until you see what's in it. All that plus President Trump drops jokes at the White House Correspondence Center, leakers in the White House undermine the war in Iran again, and we play seven degrees of Katy Perry. This is the Ben Shapiro show. (upbeat music) Okay, so here's the thing about conspiracies. Actual conspiracies, not conspiracy theories. There's evidence to them. And also they accord with typical human behavior. Well, it turns out that in the list of motivations for human beings, Ego is the very top of the list. Ego is one hell of a drug. Remember Anthony Fauci, ahead of President Trump's COVID efforts, and then Joe Biden's COVID efforts under the National Institutes of Health. Well, on Friday, Senator Rand Paul published Anthony Fauci's personal diary, which is like 1100 pages of entries running from late 2019 through Fauci's retirement in December 2022. It's a journal scrapbook that has hundreds of articles about himself inserted into it. 641 entries are labeled press that are largely about himself. What exactly did he preserve in his diary? Well, among other things, time Elliott notes on Substack, he kept the Washington Post column comparing a Rand Paul cross examination of him to watching Albert Einstein being disputed by his dry cleaner, because Fauci is like Albert Einstein, according to Anthony Fauci. He kept a Joan Baez portrait and her calling him an American hero. He kept cookies from Joe and Joe Biden with the note you are our hero. And Julia Roberts gasping on Instagram livestream that he was her personal hero. And Mary and Wright Edelman calling him a true national treasure and Beth Cameron of the NSE texting that he was her hero for what he did with Rand Paul. That's the kind of person that Anthony Fauci is and was. And again, a lot of the public indicators were there. I mean, remember this, from 2021, when Anthony Fauci suggested that attacks on him were identical to attacks on science. They were the same thing. So when he told MSNBC at the time. The lot of what you're seeing as attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science. Because all of the things that I have spoken about consistently from the very beginning have been fundamentally based on science. Sometimes those things were inconvenient truths for people. And there was pushback against me. So if you are trying to get at me as a public health official and a scientist, you're really attacking not only Dr. Anthony Fauci. You're attacking science. Because he is the science, just like the emperor was the Senate. I am the Senate. That was who Anthony Fauci was. And you were called, don't you? Anthony Fauci, basically using every opportunity to get in front of a camera. And that guy had red lights in the room like no one's business. Remember that you couldn't go to the ballpark during the pandemic for no reason, by the way, because it turns out that COVID did not travel in the open air. Right. COVID was just not being driven by outdoor exposure. Didn't matter. Entire baseball season played without human beings in the stands, except for Anthony Fauci. He personally went to Washington National's game and they piped in. He fake applause. And then he showed up wearing a mask which he then took off during the game to talk to his friends in the stands. He had the entire place to himself. But he threw out the first pitch. It was one of the worst first pitches in baseball history. You might recall this one. That is pipe didn't noise, by the way. No one's actually cheering. And whoa, the 50 cent first pitch, not good stuff there. From Anthony Fauci, not not great about his wide of the market. As his takes as it turns out on the woolhand virus. Well, if you go back to his diary, again, it is all ego all the time. So from Fauci's diary, March 21st, 2020, he says, big front page article about me appeared in the Washington Post, very flattering. Situation with my national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable. It is not hyperbole to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country. And one of the most recognizable person, peace in he says in the world. Countless profiles find me in multiple media. I cannot even read all the things that are written about me since I am so busy, seriously. Poe seems to be enamored of me, even though I am taking the spotlight away from him. We're developing a very unique and interesting relationship. The entire Secret Service Corps is coming over to me and chatting. They let me into the first gate without even checking ID. Everyone is worried about my health and welfare probably because it is all over the place that I am almost 80 years old. Wow, wow, it must be great to be Anthony Fauci. By the way, if you sit there reading your press clippings all day, you're doing it wrong just in life. July of 2020, again, as thousands of people are dying. Governor Andrew Cuomo called me asking how I was. I told him I was upset. The far right was trying to discredit me. He strongly suggested that I resign. He does not seem to appreciate the difference between resigning from TF and resigning from NIAID. He said, "I will lose credibility if I stay in my legacy needs to be preserved." He said, "If I quit, he will make sure I'm hired as an Uber consultant and could do very, very well in the private sector. Sorry, not for me." And then of course, fast forward to September. And he saved a snippet from Jimmy Kimmel who had written this homage to him in Time Magazine because that is who Anthony Fauci is and was. Now, the media were working with Fauci to prop him up. So he points out that in January, January 8th, 2021, this of course is during that interim period between President Trump losing the 2020 election and Joe Biden taking office. And he writes about his relationship with Jeff Zenz. Sorry, no, Jeff Zenz was a Joe Biden's chief of staff. And he writes in his diary at 8 p.m. tonight as I was over at Robin Ellen's open garage dining room. Jeff Zenz called me again asking for a favor. A political reporter is already getting ready to write a story spreading rumors that Biden is upset with his COVID team. And Jeff is asking a favor for me to go on background and tell the reporter they are doing a very good job. I told Jeff I would of course be very happy to do this. This would be the Biden administration coordinating with the media very, very early on. And of course, as it turns out, it turns out that Fauci knew pretty much all along that the origins of COVID were in fact not related to a wet market. Now again, COVID was almost certainly a leak from the Wuhan laboratory. Everyone knows this. And this was speculated early on by Tom Cotton of Arkansas. And everybody on the left, including in the legacy media, of course, jumped all over cotton and suggested that it was a conspiracy theory to speculate as to whether the virus had come not from some weird guy eating a bat, but actually had come from you know, the lab that did infectious disease studies on coronavirus. Well, Jim Garrity writes in national review as late as 2023 writers and publications like the Atlantic were arguing that infected animals at the Hunan seafood wholesale market with most likely source of the pandemic. But as early as January 26th, 2020, okay, this is like before anyone even knew that this was going to turn into a global pandemic. Anthony Fauci was writing in his diary that it almost certainly did not come from the market. Quote, we know the market was not the source, was the amplifier. Having said that, somewhere the virus jumped from animals to humans. So that is in January of 2020. He is saying the first cases were not from the market. He said, "Mike got spread at the market, but that's not where it started." June 4th, 2021. He says, "I received an extremely strange and unexpected briefing by the CIA related to the origin of the virus." Beth Cameron from NSC was listening in on one of the other screens. As it turns out, she was as baffled as I was by the briefing. It was very similar to some of the very disappointing briefings I had previously received in prior years. From the CIA, a young woman whose name was Camille Hartman gave most of the briefing. She was accompanied by what was probably the senior male CIA person and another young woman. Camille in my mind was almost pathetic in her nigh activity. For an obvious lack of appreciation of any of the signs of what she was talking about, she gave instances of things. She said were gotten by CIA intercepts of conversations in China particularly in Wuhan. Her major point was she feels that the Chinese have not been transparent about what was going on in their labs since there were no reports publicly of what they found out from intercepts. So again, he was writing that the CIA was naive about all of this. And then there is the aspect of what Fattos writing about in his diary. Talking about the shutdowns and the spread and his attempts to subvert alternative strategy to cope with COVID. February 2020. So Tom Frieden called me this AM and we discussed various aspects of the outbreak in Iran. The same page in thinking this is actually a bad influenza in its transmissibility. And the denominator is much greater than 35,000 making the case fatality rate more like 0.2 to 0.3% rather than 2.0%. So he knew early on that actually COVID was spreading incredibly quickly and that the death rate from COVID, which was the big question, right? The big question all along from COVID was what was the transmission rate and what was the death rate from the virus? He knew early on it was much, much, much lower than the public was being led to believe. In March of 2020, he brags that he convinced everybody to shut down the country. And he spoke with Bill DeBlasio and said that he should close all the bars and restaurants in New York City. And that he spoke with California and that Newsom had decided to close the schools and the bars and the restaurants. And this is when I left the White House in Cross, Pennsylvania and 17th Street, several cars honked their horns and shouted, "Thank you out the window." Wow. What? a hero. Okay, but as it turns out, he then went out publicly and lied to Baja Anger Sargat among others. He told her, this is July of 2022 that he did not recommend locking anything down. His diary explicitly says he did recommend locking things down. I wonder if you would recommend locking down schools if you had to do it all over again. Well, you know, again, it's, first of all, I didn't recommend locking anything down. You're asking me questions. You're talking about the CDC is the public health agency that uses their epidemiologists and their science-based approach to make recommendations. Okay, so again, Fauci was the bad guy. Not because bad guys know they're being bad, but because they think they're lying for a higher purpose. Right, Fauci was lying because he thought that he was, quote unquote, doing the right, and just happened to align with his personal interests, his interests in being on the cover of In-style magazine, which is a thing that actually happened. An 80 year old doctor ended up on the cover of In-style magazine. Right, that's who Anthony Fauci was. And it just goes to show you the foibles of human nature. Truly, I've said a thousand times on the show, you try to attribute things to stupidity rather than malice. It turns out that those two things can cross streams, ghost buster style, and you end up with Anthony Fauci with outsized influence over policy. It is one of the reasons our founders were a big fan of federalism and checks and balances in the federal governments whenever anyone tells you, though we actually need his government that moves faster and it hits harder and does things more quickly. I remind you the government is staffed by lots and lots of people just like Anthony Fauci because it turns out in life, there are lots and lots of people like Anthony Fauci. Now speaking of foreign influence in the United States, China again, the president a couple of weeks ago did a speech in which he talked about Chinese interference in our elections. There have been no serious consequences for China at this point. We know that China has been funneling intel to Iran in the middle of this war. We know that China has been stealing our IP and we know that China unleashed the Wuhan virus on the world and then tried to block information about it so that we couldn't actually combat it properly. Now we know that China's influence machine is extremely active in the United States. According to Fox News, private entities based in China and Hong Kong, many of which have significant ties to the Chinese Communist Party spend a significant amount of money attempting to influence America. The DOJ has recorded over $20 million in Farah expenditures from those entities in 2025, with millions of dollars more being recorded in lobbying disclosures filed to Congress. Chinese government sources over the same period spent close to $80 million on Farah expenses. Locally, the State Department estimated in 2023 that China spends billions of dollars annually on foreign information manipulation efforts. Now again, Farah is like the tip of the spear. The amount of Farah actively legally organized giving that China is doing in the United States is dwarfed by the amount of help it is giving from the outside. American citizens who are very, very wealthy and probably subsidized by the Chinese government, like say, Neville Roy Sangham, who's residing over in China, funneling money into the American political system because he's an American citizen. Or the echo chambers that have been created in the online space by the Chinese. Some five Chinese media operations are registered as active foreign agents in the United States. That'd be CCTV, Shen Wan-Nud, and China Daily, the HF Direct Affiliations with the CCP. CCTV, which is operated by the Chinese government, runs CGTN America, the Chinese flagship English language media operation. And they received about $67 million in funding from CCTV between February and November 2025. It's important to recognize the operation because so much of what we are watching right now is an echo chamber created on places like X, algorithmically derived media that can be gained by our foreign enemies. It is one of the reasons, by the way, why the Democratic Party is radicalizing so quickly. Some of its homegrown for sure. But let's be real about this. If you think that everything that is happening around the Zorn mom Donification of the Democratic Party is entirely domestically driven your out of your mind. There's no question that is being bolstered and promoted. By the way, there's things on the right that are being bolstered and promoted in exactly the same way. You think the sort of weirdly pro-Rong sentiment on some parts of the right is organic, like truly organic to the Republican Party, or the pro-Russia bent of a chunk of the Republican Party. But that's organic. That's just randomly happening. I highly doubt it. Well, whether it is foreign driven or domestically driven, the reality is vast majority of Americans are not into this crap. They're not. NBC Steve Kornaki points out that while Democrats, it seemed to be embracing socialism, the American public is not. The Democrats, a majority of Democrats are favorable towards socialism. But when it comes to independence, it's independent. Socialists, winning Democratic primaries, candidates from the far left and look at this here. Among Democrats, this is that Fox poll, a majority have a favorable view of socialism. Step outside the Democratic Party. It's a totally different world. Look at independence. Socialism deeply unpopular there. So at least that of vulnerability for Democrats, it would keep them from capitalizing on Trump's obvious weaknesses here. I mean, the answer there is yes. If Republicans don't place off socialists, if their Republicans reject this stuff, wholesale. I mean, it is incredible that the Democratic Party, because, again, they have no systemic immunity to the socialist appeal, because they agree with the basic idea that socialism is beautiful in theory and that the socialist radicals are actually just too passionate. They're not wrong. They're just too passionate. And so they continue to grant credibility to people who wear horn-rimmed red glasses and spew socialist nonsense. DSA national co-chair, the Democratic Socialists of America, National Co-Share, Megan Romer went on Fox News and confirmed what they're looking for and the answer is to destroy America is the real answer here. As a long-term plan, yep. De-fund the Pentagon. Absolutely. A abolished prison, at least in large part. Yeah, again, that is part of a long-term program, yeah. Okay, so no prisons. Government or public ownership of most large corporations. Yeah, absolutely. Now, let's be clear. This is stuff that Democratic Party does not have the ability to reject. They don't because they decided they were going to ingest Bernie Sanders. And it turns out that when you ingest Bernie Sanders, you're going to get an awful lot of ideological diarrhea. Bernie Sanders is still at like right now, if Bernie Sanders were 20 years younger, there's no doubt that Bernie Sanders would be the front runner for the nomination for the Democratic Party at this point. There's too much of the party locked up. And Bernie Sanders is utterly unapologetic about his support for people like Grand Planner. He's again, if you are far enough to the left, then every terrible thing you do is seen as an indicator of your commitment to the cause. Bernie Sanders on face the nation on CBS. And he said he does not regret any of his support for Grand Planner. You remember the main guy with the Nazi tattoo who was little rapy? You were an early supporter in Maine of Grand Planner. You helped him rise. Do you regret not acting earlier to call for him to drop out, given the warning signs? Would that have been given you a leg up here with Jackson? No, I don't think so. No, no, no. No, Morris Katz, who is the top advisor to Platner, a person who I'll pick Platner out of a lineup. He was with Ezra Klein. And again, Ezra is a nice guy personally, but I got to say that Ezra's systemic inability to condemn the radical left is a serious vulnerability for him. Obviously. Well, Morris Katz, who is one of Platner's advisors, he admits that the Nazi tattoo, he should have been enough to stop this thing. In hindsight, knowing what we know now, the Reddit posts alone probably should have been enough, or should have been enough. The tattoo should have been enough. The initial New York Times story and troubling behavior should have been enough. Okay, but it wasn't enough and the reason it wasn't enough is because you guys thought you could get away with it, but the reason that they think they can get away with it. And this is the key is that the Democrats, the DSA, looks at the Democratic Party and they realize the truth about Barack Obama, which is that Barack Obama was Bernie Sanders, but better at it. At the law that there is a vast gap between the quote unquote moderate Democratic Party and the DSA, it is just that a lie. They decided to sell their souls to Bernie Sanders after Bernie ran a surprising campaign in 2016, but the reality is that Barack Obama had already shoved the party dramatically to the left. It is incredible to me that people treat Barack Obama as though he was some sort of political moderate. He absolutely was not. Look at one America's national debt begins to skyrocket. Look at the massive size of the federal government under Barack Obama. Look at Barack Obama taking every opportunity to divide Americans along identity politics lines. Look at Barack Obama, the architect of the greatest expansion of American government in the form of Obama care in generations, the, the, the forceful rejection of Clintonian centrism. Barack Obama was Bernie Sanders. He just wasn't quite as loud about it, which so, so here is where again, Morris Caz is right. He's not wrong. Here he is saying that Obama was kind of Bernie just better at it. Was Obama populist? I believe so, yes. I think his entire theory of the case is deeply populist. He told the story of the country belonging to everyone and that being at the heart of things that he told. And particularly his reelection campaign, I don't think gets talked about enough for just quite how populist the approach was. Mitt Romney was a Wall Street villain who had shipped our jobs away, who wanted more money for himself and his Wall Street friends. While Obama was a president who took them on, who brought the economy back, who stared down those same villains, I think that's an example where populism allows for a big tent. And the people who critique it are just, I'm sorry, because they don't, they're against their own interests. And again, as Morris Caz points out, the next wave of that is the Mamdanitha Worldism. The idea that like it's Obama's we and it's Bernie's them. We get this Obama-esque coalition that's inclusive and that we're all a part of and we're stronger when we're all in it together. And we're taking on the Bernie Sanders version of the villains who are posing us. Okay, so again, he's not wrong about that. Now, where as we're clients uncomfortable is that it turns out that people like Morris Caz totally opposed his abundance democratic party mentality. So, as we're as the author of a book, talking about how the democratic party should embrace, for example, deregulation and solutions driven policy making. But these people are not running on solutions. They are running on overthrowing the system on a complete radical meltdown of the system. And they have the momentum because whoever argues for ripping down the system always has an inherent advantage over the person who argues that you ought to fix up the building. The tremendous drive in American politics, bizarrely enough, is to always tear down the system. The people who poses the radicals have an inherent advantage. Running as an outsider has always been a useful political tool. Pretty much every president has done it. Bill Clinton ran as an outsider to the democratic party saying we need to move away from the traditional liberalism and toward a third way centrism. George W. Bush ran in 2000 saying that we needed to move away from the harsh, gingrich, sized republicanism and toward a more compassionate conservatism. Barack Obama ran in 2008 on a more left wing version of what the democratic party was against the establishment Hillary Clinton wing of the democratic party. Donald Trump obviously ran from outside the party and through brick bats, through the window of the party. So that is the way that you gain power and the DSA knows this. And so the Democrats are having their milkshake drunk by the DSA. All right. Coming up trouble is brewing at the DNC, but that's not the only place that trouble is brewing. It is very hot down here. Quote. The Democratic Party is so short on cash that leaders at its headquarters have undertaken a new gambit to mask the severity of the problems, asking vendors not to send bills until after the midterm elections. The bookkeeping maneuver, which was described by three people briefed on it, is the latest sign of financial distress for the DNC and it's embellished leader as money troubles threatened to undercut democratic momentum with 100 days until the midterms. Apparently, Ken Martin, who's the head of the DNC, threw his phone at the desk of a junior aid while operating the person. The fallout from the phone throwing episode was described by half a dozen people familiar with the incident. The Democratic Party and its allies are far behind the Republicans when it comes to money, because Trump controls a $400 million super PAC and the RNC has $130 million. And the DNC is $2 million in debt. It's not because Democrats don't have money. It's because people who are giving money to the Democratic Party are not giving it to the Democratic Party. They're giving it direct to candidate funds. They are giving it to super PACs. They're directing it away from the traditional Democratic Party. And so the people who consider themselves part of the mainstream are in retreat, Pete Buttigieg, who is silently running a sort of bizarro world presidential campaign. It's quicksotic. He's got a very solid crowd of uptight white ladies who support Pete Buttigieg. Pete Buttigieg, he says that the moderates have to defend themselves. They can't attack the DSA. Well, good luck, dude. I think those of us who are more moderate in the party should concentrate our efforts on talking about what we're for. Well, Rahm Emanuel, who is trying to run again a quicksotic presidential campaign. He's not going to win a single primary. He has a piece in the Wall Street Journal, correctly pointing out that the Bernie Bros are a problem for the Democrats. He says today the Bernie Bros and their fellow travelers in the Democratic Socialists of America seem intent on repudiating the proven success of our strategy. When the DSA attempts to turn state democratic states and districts, a darker shade of blue, Democratic candidates in swing districts are put at a distinct disadvantage. But in the name of authenticity, the DSA and others are saddling the Democratic Party with nominees whose wildly unpopular positions will protect Republicans from having to pay the price of Donald Trump's corruption and economic incompetence. So he says basically the DSA is going to lead us to lose and Bernie Sanders went right after Rahm Emanuel in response. Look, this is an argument. There's no debate. There is a strong division within the Democratic Party. You have an establishment like Rahm Emanuel, who are dependent on billionaire campaign contributors who want to maintain the status quo. Then you have a progressive movement which wide the way. What is getting these guys' deficits, we are winning all over this country. It's totally Mumbani in New York City. It's in New Jersey. It's at Ohio. It's in Colorado. People are sick and tired of the Rahm Emanuel's and the Democratic establishment and the Republican establishment. They are asking simple questions, Margaret. Again, it's going to be interesting to see that the Democrats can fend off the radicals. There is a proxy battle that's going on in Michigan, Hailey Stevens, who's a more traditional, she's very left wing. By the way, she sits in Congress. She's a very left wing congresswoman, but not left wing enough for the DSA because she's not wildly wildly anti-Israel. She's only kind of anti-Israel. Governor Gretchen Whitmer over in Michigan has now endorsed Hailey Stevens in the Democratic primary because Democrats have rightly understand that if Abdul El-Sahead, the terror supporting candidates were to win the nomination, they quite possibly could lose that Michigan in Senancy, so here's Whitmer. As governor, I've had one strategy, get things done. Net strategy informs everything that I do. That's why I'm endorsing Hailey Stevens for the U.S. Senate. Just like me, Hailey will do whatever it takes to get things done for the people in Michigan. By the way, the DNC also voted over the weekend to make Michigan a new primary state before I believe that Michigan had been a caucus state. Anyway, Hailey Stevens, who is something out of a caricature, Hailey Stevens. She's hilarious to watch because she feels like she's going to sell you a newspaper while wearing a cheese cutter cap in 1932. Hailey Stevens. She's just in the matter. No matter what you think of Hailey Stevens, she's an amusing figure. I hope she lasts on the scene mainly so that we can work on our Michigan or accent. But here's Hailey Stevens talking about how the jokes only make her fight harder. Some of you have seen, you know, there's those cool kids on the internet. They're doing the cool kid chatter. Some of them might be the coastal elites. making fun of how I talk. Not okay. Says my governor. But let's be real. They're making fun of Michigan. They're thinking they're better than us. And what they don't know is I am your voice. And their jokes and their criticism only makes me fight harder. Okay, she's funny. Okay, I have to admit that she is a funny part. It'll be interesting to see what happens in that primary meanwhile, of course, I'm doing all say, yeah, I was running against her. The terrorist supporter. He is pushing Chris Von Holland for Senate Majority Leader in praising Elizabeth Warren. And if I have anything to do about it, the next Senate Majority Leader Chris Van Holland. So here is the thing. Some Democrats may be under the impression that Hayley Stevens is going to wildly outperform Abdul El Sayed in Michigan. She probably will outperform El Sayed. It is a risky move for Abdul El Sayed to be the nominee in Michigan, considering that his background is filled not only with fibs and lies, but also with actual terror support. Again, this is a person who was caught on tape saying that he would not say anything about the death of Ayatollah Khameini because it would tick off too many of his supporters in Duaboran Michigan, which is insane. At the same time as Hayley Stevens, some sort of like great candidate. I see no evidence of this. Now the polls are showing Stevens with a bit of a lead. Right now, if you look at those Kalshi odds, the Kalshi market seemed to be favoring Abdul El Sayed by a factor of about two to one. Despite the fact that the polls are favoring Hayley Stevens, they'll be fascinating to see how all that plays out. And again, if Democrats do choose Abdul El Sayed and their Senate cycle, this time around, was like grand platener and whoever follows grand platener and Abdul El Sayed in Michigan and a candidate in New Jersey, who literally was a spokesperson for an al-Qaeda member. I don't know. That seems like a vulnerability for Democrats going into 2026. Again, we'll see if the Democratic party can reject this at least in the form that's presented in Michigan. They certainly have not in New York. In New York, obviously, there's going to be an enormous amount of unrest over the course of the coming days. Why? Because Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, he's scheduled to come into Washington, DC today to go to the funeral of Lindsey Graham. He's also scheduled to meet with President Trump. And then he's going to go to the UN. He's going to speak. You and of course is located in New York. Zahar Mamdani, who is the terror supporting mayor of New York. Your call that just a few days ago, as in like last week, called on the people of New York to go protest Netanyahu and just a couple of days later, a man stabbed in North and extra on the streets of New York while shouting, wait for it, wait for it. Wait for it. I'll who lock bar. I know you were shocked. Here is Zahar Mamdani calling for the protest. So prepare for some violence over the next few days in New York probably. I think one of the bedrocks of our city is protest. It is something that has been a part of what makes our city so special that New Yorkers can express themselves whether they are in support or in opposition, no matter on whatever topic. And I've always said that when we respect our constitution, we also respect our First Amendment. And here in New York City, it'll always be a place where you can exercise that. Well, that's weird because when there was a protest of Zahar Mamdani's radicalism, which he deemed to be too right wing and then a radical Muslim threw a bomb at the protest. He condemned the protesters. It's only certain types of protesters get that treatment from Zahar Mamdani. By the way, the cops in New York are really ticked off about all of this, according to the New York Post. The mayor's activist posturing puts police officers on the street in a terrible position, according to NYPD Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Henry said protests during the UN General Assembly are nothing new. When the mayor of the city is actively calling for demonstrations, violent agitators will assume they have permission to cause as much havoc as possible. And those same agitators know the NYPD's protest response is already hamstrung by the dangerous lawsuit settlement that city signed over the police benevolent associations opposition. The mayor's heated rhetoric could be enough to push demonstrations over the edge into chaos that could very well happen. And of course, we've been watching as the intifada gets globalized. Remember that that many people on the democratic left were perfectly fine, including Mamdani, with globalized the intifada. The intifada is a reference to the uprising. It is a violent terrorist assault on Israel. There are two of them. One of them happened in the late 80s. One of them happened in the early 2000s, both at the cost of lives, the one in the early 2000s at the cost of hundreds of lives. Well, globalized the intifada means just spread terror all over the map. And it's happening. And people being attacked in New York City while shouting ala who Akbar, the suspect shouting ala who Akbar. And then over the weekend, a car plowed into a crowd at a Berlin Pride event. Okay, this is according to the New York Times. That was the headline. Car plows into crowd. So we know the cars political or religious persuasion. Can we guess? According to the New York Times, a car plowed through a park during Berlin's biggest LGBTQ Pride events on Saturday killing at least one person in what the police said was a suspected act of terrorism. The police said the suspected attack happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the teargarten, a major park in the city center and that a hunt for a suspect or suspect was underway after the vehicle was found crash into a tree and abandoned at least 16 people had injuries. Some life threatening apparently the suspect known as Abdul B Abdul ball out. It turns out it turns out that he was hacking at people with a machete. And then he ran away and then they caught him and then he got killed. Well, his story is somewhat indicative of a West that is committing cultural suicide, cultural and political suicide. Abdul Bala's mother was naturalized in 2002. That was three years before he was born. He then left Germany for Lebanon in 2025 with the intention of crossing into Syria to join ISIS. He was arrested in Lebanon where a Lebanese military court tried and sentenced him to three months in prison for incitement to religious conflict. So he completed his sentence in Lebanon and then he returned to Germany where he was arrested upon arrival to Berlin. He was convicted by a Berlin juvenile court of preparing an act of state-intangering violence and spreading ISIS propaganda. He was sentenced to one year and ten months. But public prosecutors considered the sentence to lenient. They appealed the decision. But here's the hilarious to today said he's not in jail for long enough. But wait for German law. So here's how German law works. He was released while awaiting appeal. So he was supposed to be in jail and the prosecutors appealed for a longer sentence and the Germans released him while awaiting appeal for a sentence that had already been given to him. And during that time when he was awaiting appeal, he decided to be a great idea to rent a white van and run down a bunch of gay people at the LGBTQ plus minus divided by sign protest. The Berlin Pride organizers and again the suicidal empathy as God said would put it here is insane. Berlin Pride organizers then got up and said we would not want. We would we would hate for this entire situation to be used as a political talking point. You know, pathetic you have to be when radical Muslims who call for your extermination attack and kill some of you. And your first response is we must not label people like the attacker what they are. We must be very careful. This does not turn political. My goodness. This is a civilization in a state of collapse. Our basic approach has not changed. We reject all forms of violence. Ideological ideologies be they religious or other extremists are trying to suppress people. We do not want this deed to be instrumentalized for political ends. We don't want any groups we've faced under suspicion for this. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. But all too believable obviously and the globalized intifada isn't limited to New York or Berlin. It's also happening in France just this morning. A pregnant woman was among three injured in a Paris attack as a knife man was hurt shouting way, way, way, way, you're not going to believe what he was shouting. You're not going to believe it. It was go next. It was not go next. It was all ordered me to do it. I can't believe it. It is the most shocking news since it's not shocking. Two of the three victims have been left severely wounded from the horror stabbing. Three women aged 1924 and 36 were attacked with two kitchen knives, according to interior minister Laurent Nunez. Two of the victims who were taken to the hospital were made in critical. One woman was hit in the lower back while the other was hit in the abdomen. And the perpetrator was on the ground. And here's a clip of the perpetrator. I'll read you the translation by vice grad 24. He doesn't know what he is doing to someone to me. He says, I'll ordered me. Someone says there's no olive oil. He says, while allowing must have paid the stunt of a bleep. Seriously, he's crazy. Crazy doesn't mean anything. This woman says he's got my brother. He says, I'll have ordered me. I'll have ordered me. Yeah. Weird how that works. Probably we need to import more of that or make more room for all of that. Or you know, call for gigantic protests against Jews in New York City, which is what obviously this week will turn into. I will on a lighter note on a lighter note the media saved most post of their IRA over the weekend for the president of the United States who attended the replacement White House correspondence area. Your call, the first White House correspondent center was broken up when somebody tried to assassinate the president. Well, this one didn't go nearly as poorly. As I had the president's performance, it wasn't like top notch Trump. I've seen top notch Trump before. He got some good shots in. He got some funny jokes, but it was kind of buried in an avalanche of, you know, stuff. He went on for a while. But there are a couple of solid jokes here. One of his most solid jokes came at the expense of my friend Barry Weiss. Here was, here was President Trump. Under my administration, a once feared and powerful regime that relentlessly attacked America has finally been toppled. Their former leaders have been removed and they're now being run by a gay dictator facing internal divisions. But I for one wish, Barry Weiss, all the best is CBS and is. Yeah, it's a good joke. I mean, be honest, a good joke. First of all, he is calling the dictator Ron Gay, but also that's a good joke. Trump also jokes about gunshots and Nicki Minaj at the previous White House correspondence center. After hearing the gunshots, many people yelled, "Get down, get down," which caused Nicki Minaj to start twerking, do you believe? Get down. She's the only one that really understood what that meant. Okay. And then that not one of his better one. We will evaluate. Okay, joke number one, nine out of ten, joke number two, three out of ten. Okay, President Trump also jokes about a fourth term. I want to save your ratings and pleas to announce my intention to, and this is somewhat of a scoop, my intention to run for a fourth term as President of the United States. I will be doing that. I will be having an official. In fact, I think I have. Yeah. I won three times. Now I'm going to do it again. Thank you. I'm going to do it again. It should be easy. I'm getting very good at running for President. Okay. I'm like one out of ten on that one because he's made that joke before. It's an oldie and not very goodie. President Trump did drag Jake Tapper of CNN for his alleged delay on reporting Joe Biden's cognitive decline. But some people say that Jake Tapper is a great investigative reporter in DC and that's why after moderating our debate, it only took him one year to break the story that Joe Biden might possibly have suffered from cognitive decline. It took him one year. He wrote a book about how great he was mentally not too good. Okay. Again, not a joke, just an accurate take there from the President of the United States. The President also went after Ilhan Omar's World War 11 failures of the past. Remember the cheat sheet? He does not know how to apparently read Roman numerals. So he made a joke about it. It's becoming such a horrible and dangerous location that Ilhan Omar, one of my favorites and her brother are thinking about moving together very much in love. The video is surfaced recently of Ilhan giving a speech referring to World War II as World War 11. And they usher about that. She still thought she got it right. But I'm not surprised because she's a low IQ person and she's also a very dishonest person and she ought to get the hell out of our country. She shouldn't be here. She shouldn't be in our country. You also call her brother, husband number one. Yeah. I like that he's like, yes, take time out from the joke to just smack the crap out of her. Like he's just in the middle of the joke. He's like, I'm just going to go into how much I hate Ilhan Omar, which I think made it funnier. I will admit, I think the delivery made that joke, which wasn't a great joke. Funnier. So that's like a five out of 10. And then he went after Gavin Newsom. This one, this one I kind of liked. And it's traditional that at least one or two potential presidential hopefuls attend the correspondence dinner. But many of them seem to have really chickened out. I was disappointed that Gavin Newsom didn't show up. He didn't show up. He should be here. But I heard that he recently said that we will lose our country if we don't fight fire with fire. And to be fair, there's only one thing we know about Gavin that that said he definitely doesn't want to fight fire with water. He's got a lot of water never uses. Okay. That's a good joke. That's a good joke. Okay. So best two jokes so far. Obviously, he bury wise joke and also the Gavin Newsom joke. Okay. But there is one that set the media off flame. The media were just rageful about this joke. They were horrified by this joke. So the president loves to pick on Caitlin Collins of CNN. He's constantly calling on her just a rag honor. Well, he did that again, but he did so with a comparison that the media are losing their minds over. Here was the president at the White House correspondence association dinner. But I want to personally congratulate CNN's Caitlin Collins on receiving her award. It was all about me. It's a fake. She shouldn't get the award. It was a fake. But I didn't mind. I said Caitlin, congratulations. But it was fake. There's no question about it. But she's a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said Caitlin, do you have a smile? Smile. You have a nice position. You're at CNN fake news. You should be a happy person. It's a smile, Caitlin. Just smile. But we attacked and I thought Caitlin had really made it big with a major new sponsorship. But then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can. It was Dylan Mulvaney. Okay. So this apparently was shut. How could he? How could he? CNN put out a statement condemning the president comparing Caitlin Collins to Dylan Mulvaney. Dylan Mulvaney, of course, is a man who believes he is a woman. Mark Thompson said, quote, we stand by our journalist and the integrity and fair mindedness with which the CNN team reports the news. Honest actor, a journalist may sometimes irritate politicians, but our rights report and present that reporting to the public without government interference is fully protected by the US Constitution. CNN will continue to exercise this right. I'm not aware of anything in the joke that actually had anything to do with Caitlin Collins not being able to ask questions. She still is. And then the president put out a, an AI photo of Caitlin Collins as Dylan Mulvaney in that famous Bud Light influencer deal. Dylan Mulvaney then responded, quote, I am free in a way they will never have the privilege to experience. I mean, I hope I never have the experience of Dylan Mulvaney like I'm, I don't know. I feel like I'm sort of attached to my appendages. They feel useful to me. Anyway, and they want to use their power to take away my freedom, but they don't understand as my freedom has zero contingency on what they can provide for me because my freedom is fully dependent on the moment I acknowledge my real authentic self and everyday sense and sharing that with the world is just icing on the cake. But they don't want me to be able to share that because it would mean young people realizing if someone like me can be themselves and find success in freedom, they can find success in freedom for themselves to, yeah, nailed it. Now, okay. So first, I just have to ask a question. Why was that joke offensive? Why was anyone offended by that joke? I've been told by the entire legacy media that Dylan Mulvaney is not just a woman. Dylan Mulvaney is a beautiful woman. So what is offensive about that joke? What is insulting about that joke? You gonna say it? You gonna say it? You gonna say Dylan Mulvaney's a dude? That's why it's an insulting joke. That's just a dude dressed up as a lady. You gonna say it, guys? Are you? Didn't think so. And well, there are some sort of awkward juxtapositions at the White House Correspondence Center, Kristen Welker, of MSNBC. She was seen laughing with Stephen Miller at the White House Correspondent. Again, let's be real about it. In Washington, you see most people know each other. It gets fairly small town. So this is really not a shock. Okay, cool. I mean, they're just smiling laughing at each other. You know, treating each other like humans. It turns out that when all of a sudden done, people tend to treat each other like humans when they're in person with one another. The president was laughing and shaking hands with the same Wall Street Journal reporters who originally had pushed the Trump Epstein story. He sued the Wall Street Journal for this story, by the way. Some quickly filed a $20 billion lawsuit against the Journal, revealing reporter Kadeja Safdar's home address. Her family had to be relocated. The Journal was kicked off of Air Force One, but the reporters continued to file revelatory stories. Please welcome the winners of the Catherine Graham Award from the Wall Street Journal. It gets a little funny. Okay. That might have been the funniest moment is that he has to congratulate the reporters who he hates so much. Like, it doesn't care. So he's just doing it. It's kind of funny. Okay. Other kind of celebrity political news. So Katie Perry, who is just parodic at this point. She's just a parody of her. yourself. And if you chart the life of Katy Perry, the seven degrees of Katy Perry is insane. And that's an insane seven degrees of Katy Perry, just in terms of her love life, which is married to Russell. And now she is dating Justin Frodo, just that right there. That Venn diagram is super duper weird. I mean, if you connect Russell Brand going the other way, you end up with like Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes. And if you go to Justin Frodo route, you end up with like full communism. So it's like the full horseshoe via Katy Perry. It is, it is wild stuff. In any case, Katy Perry over the weekend said she was very upset that the White House used her song Firework on their TikTok account as a backing track for video footage of military strikes. She said, I did not approve this. I was not asked and I absolutely do not condone it to see a message of self-worth and upliftment weaponized to soundtrack destruction and violence as a complete violation of everything my song stands for. Well, Lady Yardy gave up the rights to your catalog for $225 million. I mean, that's kind of like your fault. Like if you wanted to control it, then you could have not sold the rights to that stuff. And of course, it turns out that her part of me music video featured Marines from Camp Pendleton back in 2012. Oh, better times, man. Better times Katy Perry, like with the military. Man, remember when she was younger and more talented? Yeah. Oh, well. Anyway, her charging the beach there is like Elliott Page in the Odyssey. Anyway, okay, onto some actual serious news. Okay, it's some actual serious news. It is time for the president of the United States to fire the leakers. Fire, the leakers, Mr. President. This is enough. They've had a series of leaks since the beginning of the war on attempting to undermine the war on Iran. Those leaks have ranged from leaks of plans to arm the Kurds to leaks with regard to Operation Project Freedom to repeated leaks about America's military readiness. Whether you want this war to end with a full-scale American military victory and capitulation by Iran or whether you just want a better negotiated deal, one thing should be very clear, leaking to undermine America's position even in the negotiations is a form of treason and the president should be identifying the leakers and firing them at the very, very, very least. And frankly, I don't believe that he is serious about his negotiation efforts unless he does find and fire the people who are leaking to CNN the narrow times in Axios. Seriously, so the weekend, highly damaging to America's even negotiating posture. So two leaks, one to Barack Reveed of Axios. Apparently, as on everybody's quick call list from the Obama administration to the Trump administration. Reveed reported at the top of his military commander in the Middle East, Admiral Brad Cooper recommended stopping the bombing campaign around the Strait of Hormuz because it had reached the limit of its effectiveness according to two sources with knowledge of his position. He stressed that the two ex-strikes in the Strait of Hormuz area had significantly degraded Iran's ability to attack ships. He noted the designated bombing targets had been mostly exhausted. Now, let's be real, it's the next sentence that matters. What he actually said is that if you wanted to finish off Iran, you could. But if you're not going to do it, then what we're doing right now isn't going to work, which is correct. So must have been saying this. He said the Senate commander said a possible next step would be to resume major combat operations to finish the 20 percent of targets. The US military designated, but did not strike during Operation Epic Fury. Absent to decisions returned to major combat operations. He stressed there was no point in continuing the bombing campaign of the previous two weeks. That's by the way, that's right. That's right. I mean, I've been saying that for a couple of weeks at this point. Basically, everything since the president unilaterally declared a ceasefire back in April. I think has been a bad idea. That is essentially where I am on this. I think the blockade was not terrible, but that was only in lieu of finishing the job, which is what we really should have done. Okay, but the more seriously came courtesy of CNN. So this leak clearly came from the wing of the administration, which not only wants negotiations with Iran, but wants to undermine America in those negotiations with Iran and essentially make it impossible for America to ever defend itself again. Because if you are just going to leak about US munitions shortages and problems in our stockpile, what you are basically saying is that there is no conflict we can fight in the future. That's what this leak means. According to CNN on Friday, Dan Cain specifically raised concerns about US munitions stockpile and other potential negative implications according to the sources. One of the sources said that Cain told Trump and the US military they could carry out the options available to him and be successful, but warned of possible implications. Most of the advisers in the room said if Trump wanted to pull the trigger on a bigger attack, the US could do so in a devastating way, but the president should consider the potential second and third order effects. So what were the potential second and third order effects? Supposedly, a lack of stockpile of the ads and patriot missiles. Also, quote, the potential for massive civilian casualties inside Iran, if the United States resumed major combat operations was also raised. I wonder who that could be. It's weird to me that the America first wing, so-called America first wing, meaning the isolationist wing of the party, is suddenly very concerned with Iranian civilian casualties and refugee problems in the Middle East. Very strange. By the way, it turns out that other members of the administration are saying this is not true. Elbridge Colby, who certainly is no member of the hawkish wing of the administration, he was on with Rostud had of the New York Times over the course of the last few days and he said we actually do not have the munitions depletion problem. Is it not, in fact, the case that many of exactly the kind of munitions and platforms that we need for the strategy of denial that you've described are now being used up in a currently stalemated conflict with Iran? Well, I wouldn't say it's stalemated. I think we're obviously- Well, let me ask you about that next. I think about that next. A couple of things. One, I think that point is exaggerated. Obviously, I can't get into the details here, but the capabilities that are most significant have not really been- are not really in the scarce supply. Can you give me one example of such a- I can't give you a specific example, but I can say with confidence that we're in good shape. Okay. But we are also paying attention to this. This is why we've been focused on this since day one. This is why we've been now pushing a $1.5 trillion budget request. This is why we've been pressing our allies not only to build up their own capability, but to build up their own defense industrial base. So obviously, we want to- we want to grow so that we're- we're- we're in the best possible position ourselves as well as with others, but I feel confident in where we are. The president said, "What we have far more munitions than anyone in the world and far more than we need." So this raises the question. Somebody's lying. And even if somebody is not lying, the question becomes, why would you want people in your administration leaking to the press that we have munitions shortages in the middle of a war? If you do that, there's only one purpose to do that. And that is to undermine America's negotiating position. Because again, if the credible threat of use of force is not on the table, you do not have a negotiating position. The president needs to identify the people who have been leaking and he needs to fire them. And I'm always amused by the people who are out there suggesting that they shouldn't be fired. Let's- let's say for a second it's true. Okay. Let's say that they're not lying. Let's say that we are actually in shorter supply of munitions. That is even more reason you don't want that leaked into the public for the Iranians to know. It turns out that war-making policy, as the president is fond of saying, needs to be secret. He's not going to tell you what he's going to do. That's an important aspect of foreign policy. If you have people who are constantly running to the New York Times to undermine the war efforts and to even undermining your negotiating position, shouldn't you be leaking? Shouldn't you be identifying them and firing them? There aren't that many people in these rooms gang. There aren't that many people in these rooms who is leaking, who's doing it? That's a problem in the middle of a war. I would like for the United States to win the war. I noticed the people who are defending the leakers are usually the people who would prefer that the United States lose in the most humiliating fashion.
