Ep. 2091 - Iran Launches Attacks To Help Democrats In The Midterms
52m 15s
The transcript explores a range of political, social, and economic issues shaping the U.S. midterm elections. It begins by promoting tax relief services, TRA, as a credible alternative to fear-based IRS advertising. It then shifts to foreign policy, highlighting escalating Iranian attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which may drive voter concerns over energy costs and national security. A central debate emerges in Texas, where the Senate race hinges on contrasting positions: Ken Paxton’s push to end abusive medical procedures for children versus James Talleriko’s emphasis on trans identity. The discussion questions whether voters prioritize economic costs—like soaring gas prices—over moral concerns about political perverts and child abuse. The narrative also critiques the legacy of the sexual revolution, using Hugh Hefner’s widow’s account of marital exploitation to challenge claims of consent and freedom. Broader geopolitical themes are introduced, including the U.S. imperial strategy toward Iran, Cuba, and Israel, framed as a counter to China’s rise. Senator Cruz’s pragmatic defense of Israel—rooted in national security and historical persecution—stands in contrast to religious justifications. The piece concludes by emphasizing how public opinion can shift rapidly, as seen in the case of Megan Markle, suggesting that voter decisions are influenced not only by policy but by evolving narratives around morality, abuse, and political identity. These interconnected issues collectively underscore the stakes of the midterms in defining national values and trust.

Iran does everything it can to help Democrats win the midterms as drone and missile attacks on tankers in the straight of hormones hit all time highs. Then the Cuban ambassador charges the stage at the UN as the American ambassador tells him to shut up before we overthrow the communist regime. And Hugh Heffner's widow breaks the shocking news that her late Playboy mogul husband was a pervert. More important, she proves that the sexual revolution was completely wrong about everything. I'm Michael Noles, it's the Michael Noles Show. [MUSIC] Welcome back to the show. Speaking of the Iran War, a young man, young right-winger on the campaign trail just asked Senator Cruz a great question about Israel. I think Senator Cruz gave a great answer. Another important point about Israel, the Israeli elections were last night as of this moment, as of the airing of this show. It's not clear who won. There's no clear majority that the Israeli elections are different from the American elections in that they have to form coalition governments and right now it's totally unclear what the future for the government of Israel looks like, but that's really good news for us. And it's good news because the pollsters were wrong in Israel. And forget about Netanyahu, forget about who the Prime Minister is going to be. I just need the pollsters to be wrong because if the pollsters were wrong in Israel, it means they could be wrong in America, which means we might not get completely destroyed by the Democrats seven days from now. However, in the meantime, Iran is doing every single thing it can to hand the government over to Democrats. Very distressing report out of the National Security Journal. Iran is attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz at record levels. October was the worst month for attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz since the war began. But this is important because when the U.S. went in now for the second time over the last year and a half to Iran to degrade their nuclear capacities, Iran played their trump card. Iran shut down shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. So when Iran did that, the U.S. didn't totally expect that they would do that. Iran's never done that before. When Iran did that, they said, okay, we're going to hold 20% of the world's energy supply hostage for the foreseeable future. Okay, very fine. Then President Trump says, okay, well, you think you're going to hold the energy hostage? I know what we're going to do. We're just going to get the energy out ourselves. So the United States starts protecting oil coming through the Strait of Hormuz and brings back capacity, not to where it was pre-war, but pretty close. So then Iran says, all right, well, our last big moment of leverage is right before these midterm elections. We're going to redouble our efforts right now. The numbers are not great, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy has the new data, which show that October some more attacks and commercial ships than any previous month since the organization began tracking maritime security incidents all the way back in 2017. Dozens of oil tankers and cargo ships have been struck by those missiles and drones in recent weeks, even as the Navy continues to move them through the waterway. Of course, this was ever thus. I predicted that two months ago, I said, it's only going to get worse, gas prices are only going to go higher. Diesel prices are only going to go higher because this is Iran's last moment of leverage. So the question becomes, is that enough to convince Republicans to stay home, to convince people in the middle to vote for the Democrats? I give you one related story before we have one today's final take on the midterm elections. Here's a story done in Texas, another oil rich area. This is just opened to the nation's first detransition clinic. This is great news for America. This is great news for the poor kids who were subject to the evil transgender ideology. It's great news for Ken Paxton, Ken Paxton, the Republican running against Democrat James Taloriko, who I don't think is trans, but he might be able to fool some people, Ken Paxton is the attorney general of Texas. So Ken Paxton really gets to claim credit for this. After years of this Texas children's hospital, trans and kids doing experimental procedures on little confused kids with their parents' permission, most of the time, I guess, to make little boys look like little girls, to put them on puberty blockers, to put them on cross-sex hormones so that they can have their genitals mutilated so that they can pretend to look a little bit more like the opposite sex. After years of some of the worst child abuse you can possibly imagine, Ken Paxton, the AG down there and the Republicans were able to bring justice to bear and force a settlement from the Texas Children's Hospital, force them to open a detransition clinic so that all the poor kids who were abused on the Texas Children's Hospital's watch can have some of their medical procedures reversed and made right. Really, really important use, it's got to be free of charge for five years that includes endocrinology, surgery, primary care, fertility counseling, mental health services, social work, speech pathology, all the things that got screwed up by the Democrats that they now have to pay to make right down in Texas. So great news, really big win for Ken Paxton. I hope this convinces right-minded voters to pick him over the guy who says that God is non-binary and the Blessed Virgin Mary is evidence of why we need abortion. I don't totally know, but that's the stakes of the election, okay. You got Ken Paxton saying, all right, we are stopping the abuse of children in Texas. We are going to write those wrongs and we're going to extract a pound of flesh from the evil child abusers who did this on the one hand. And then you have Ken Paxton's opponent, James Talleriko, who has asked what he loves most in the world. Here's his answer. What do you love most in the world? Other than your family and friends, what's your favorite thing? For me, it would be cigars or Philly cheesestakes or, I don't know, a good Scotch. For James Talleriko, it's trans kids. And you know why he said that, because they're on his mind. The trans kids are just on my mind all the time. Before I go to bed at night, when I wake up in the morning, I would just have to say, as the Democrat nominee for Senate, that trans kids are on my mind all the time and I love them. They're my very favorite thing. We are not even talking about a party that is just confused about sex and trying to do the right thing, but sometimes it gets it wrong because they don't know too much about the subject. We're talking about a party that obsessively sexually abuses children as a part of their platform for the better part of a decade now. The Senate race in Texas, which is one of the really hot races. If the Democrats win in Texas, it's kind of over. And that Senate race is now coming down to this issue. This issue that is a defining issue in politics, not because there are so many kids who get abused. There are a lot, way too many, any is too many, but it's a defining issue because if a politician says that a little boy is actually a little girl and we should castrate him, you can't trust that politician on anything. You can't trust that politician to get your bowl of cereal in the morning.
or handle taxes or immigration or anything else. And the race is coming down to that. In the final days of this campaign, Ken Paxton gets the Texas Children's Hospital to stop abusing kids and to start to try to do the right thing. James Talleriko says, "I love trans kids "they're on my mind all the time." That's what it comes down to. So put that story in line with the Iran story. The midterm elections will then broadly come down to do voters care more about protecting kids from perverts than they do about paying an extra buck 25 for gas. And a buck 25 for gas, I don't want to downplay it. An extra buck 25 for gas is gas being up by 40% or more. So I don't mean to downplay, a gas is expensive. Diesel, especially, is very expensive. But that's what it comes down to. Do voters care more about stopping perverts in government from mutilating and abusing little children than they do about paying an extra buck 25 for gas? Do voters care more about stopping the intentional invasion of millions and millions of foreign nationals per year? Then they do about paying an extra buck 25 for gas. You want to blame Trump for going into Iran? You can blame him for that. Some people will say it was a smart move or it was a worthwhile bet or geopolitically it may pay off over the long run over decades because of the Cold War with China, which is really what the Iran War is about. Some people will make that argument. Some people will say it tactically it was a mistake and maybe we should have waited on Iran and some will say we couldn't have waited on Iran and blah, blah, blah, blah, just put it aside. So let's say you don't like the Iran War. Let's say you're irritated by high gas prices. We're all irritated by that. The question of the midterms is, is that enough to get you to vote for the party that openly abuses little kids, at least the ones that they don't murder in the womb, that floods the country with foreign nationals, that supports burning the American flag, that wants to spy on Christians in their churches, that wants to imprison pro-life grannies for praying at abortion clinics. On and on and on and on and on. And the answer is maybe they care more about the gas. I don't know, unfortunately, democracy is pretty fickle. That's why our fanning fathers and framers were so distrustful of it. But those are the stakes of the election. Okay, speaking of perversion, shocking story, pull over your car if you're driving sit down if you're standing up, Hugh Hefner was a pervert according to his wife, his widow, his last wife. We will get into her claim. Her claim is that her five year marriage to Hugh Hefner was really kind of like a rape. That's it. This on the heels of the Cornell 7th story, forget about five to seven hours of a monaja wheat of strange activities between a girl and multiple boys. Here we have the widow of the founder of Playboy saying that not only one night at the mansion, but a five year marriage was actually tantamount to rape. We'll get into what she means 'cause there is a kernel of truth there. First though, I want to tell you about good ranchers. Go to goodranchors.com/nolescanonwls. There is a problem with making a really good dinner at home. You start resenting restaurants. You look at the menu, you think, "I have better beef in my freezer at home. Nobody charges me 12 bucks for the potatoes." That's where I'm at with good ranchers. So we've had some amazing meals, some amazing meals that friends have brought us. Meal train is really nice since the new baby has come. But sweetly, some made some stuff early, a little stuff since the one, the new one. And I'd never tried this before. The good ranchers wagyu burgers as a bolognaise sauce 'cause I never want to give up the burgers. The burgers as burgers are the best burgers I've ever had. But if you take the wagyu burger meat and you mix it up and you make a meat sauce out of it, a bolognaise sauce, it is gonna knock your socks off, man. It is so unbelievably good and the fat is so good. And it's just all of their stuff. The fill I'm in on, the New York strip, sweetly, Lisa prefers the ribeye to the I prefer the strip. The chicken, it's some of the best chicken you're gonna get. The pork is great, October's a great month to start. She was married to Hugh for nearly five years. And now she is going on podcasts to discuss her immense regret over the marriage. - Do you believe that you were raped by Hugh Hefner? - I do believe that I did whatever he wanted me to do. And if that involves sex, then I just did what he wanted me to do. Hef was his own Epstein. He was like an open Epstein, it's very strange. Someone commented on my page, Hef was the Epstein everyone was okay with. And I do think that's true. And I also think Playboy paved the way for all this heinous behavior from other men. I really do. It made it okay to see women as objects and not humans. And yeah, I think Hef really, really hurts society. Okay, I agree with this lady on her ultimate conclusion. But what are we doing here? The question is, were you raped by Hugh Hefner? And she says in these very somber tones, I mean, I did whatever he wanted sexually. I mean, she was his wife first of all. But even then, she was a prostitute, right? And I'm not to, I don't mean this to be insulting to her, but she was a prostitute. She took money from him and houses from him and property from him. And she, I mean, she's like the most successful prostitute ever in the sense that she became the wife. But I don't think she married Hugh Hefner for love, right? Now, obviously, there's probably a screw or two loose with this woman because no woman in her right mind who was raised properly, who was seriously educated, would ever marry Hugh Hefner. I don't care how rich he is, it's weird. He's old and gross and clearly a pervert. And she would just be part of a hair. Even if she were legally married. And so, I'm sure there's something wrong in her history and her life and her biography and her family. Obviously, there's something wrong. But she goes on, she talks about how he was not gentle in the Boudoir and then he's snoring and she's trying to sleep and she feels gross and she's in pain and she says that he had other girls do weird stuff and okay, okay. None of this rises to the level of rape by the modern definition. And yet, by the classical definition of rape, she kind of has a point. When I was listening to her interview, it reminded me of an old interview that Hugh Hefner himself did way back. I think it was in the '60s with William F. Buckley Jr., Mr. Conservative, Mr. Sexual Revolution, debating Mr. Conservative on Bill Buckley's show. Just take a listen, take a look at how Hugh Hefner sounds. Sexual deviation, as such, is perpetuated by the kind of suppressive attitude on sex that we've traditionally had in society. One of the things that we're strongly opposed to, Dr. Gebhardt recently at the Sex Institute at Indiana University, was asked whether he felt that there would ever be a significant decline in homosexuality in America. And he said, not until we're willing to put far more emphasis on the heterosexual than we are today. Society itself and the kind of conditions that it places around sex very much determines the direction that the normal or that the innate sex drive is going to take in people. You can either have a society that emphasizes, that has a more permissive emphasis on the heterosexual and the healthy, or you can have one that is essentially restrictive, essentially suppressive and leads to oppression and results in a maximum amount of perversion, a maximum amount of fragility and impotence and all the other problems that go with it. Okay, so the first takeaway, looking at Hugh Hefner here, is he looks like he's being devoured by a demon, even way back in the 1960s. You compare Mr. Conservative Bill Buckley, who's kind of reclining in his weird way. But he looks kind of blas-a-hmm. Yes, he looks a little bit revolted at what Hugh Hefner is saying. But he looks in command of himself. He doesn't look nervous, he doesn't look anxious, he doesn't look neurotic. Then you look at Hugh Hefner, who's supposed to be Mr. Playboy in the smoking jacket with the pipe, Mr. Relaxed Intellectual. And he looks like a scared teenage criminal. I don't know, he looks as eyes are darting back and forth. He's kind of fidgeting, he's kind of twitching. He looks like something is really bothering him. He doesn't look comfortable. And if you've ever spent any time with a pervert, you'll notice that. People who have, not just sexual vices, but any kind of vice, they don't feel comfortable. You know, they're kind of fidgety, they're kind of like they're looking all around, they don't, they don't, they don't ever seem comfortable. Right off the bat, he looks like a maniac. And his ideas are fairly maniacal. The very funny thing, given that he's one of the leaders the sexual revolution.
Is his argument is that we need to have a sexual revolution, it means to liberate sex, we need to have premarital sex and fornication and orgy and all that kind of stuff. Because if we don't do that, everyone's going to turn gay. So now at the sexual revolutionaries, they're very pro gay and trans and pans and whatever. But in the earlier days of the sexual revolution, one of the arguments for it was that we have too many gays running around. And so if you want people to stop having deviant sex and all sorts of weird LGBT stuff, you need to make heterosexual sex more permissive. That's his prediction. If we have a sexual revolution, we're going to have fewer gays. And what happened? Totally the opposite. That's such that we had the sexual revolution, it flourished for 50, 60 years and by the end of it, 30% of Gen Z, 30% of the younger generation was identifying as LGBTQ+. So forget about the personal foibles of Hugh Hefner, whether he was a neurotic, whether he was a rapist, as his widow seems to be alleging, whatever, he was just wrong. The father of the sexual revolution, or at least the creepy funny uncle of the sexual revolution, was simply wrong about what it would lead to. But it wasn't just the playboy men who were pushing for the sexual revolution. It was the feminists, and the feminists predicted that the sexual revolution would liberate women, it would empower them, it would bring them equality with men. Did that happen? No, the proof of that is, 50, 60 years on, yet all these women walking around Harvard's campus around Harvard Yard saying that that campus was more dangerous for them than the back alleys of Botswana. It was all these women saying that they were being abused and exploited, even in explicitly consensual sexual activities. 60 years after the women said, "We want to be treated with regard to sex exactly as men are treated." 60 years later, they said, "If you treat us like men, it's rape." So it brings us back to the first point from Hugh Hefner's widow, who was a prostitute, who knew what she was signing up for, and who came to regret it, and who now is insinuating that he somehow raped her over their five years of their marriage or something approximating a marriage. That is not rape by any serious definition. However, by a more classical definition, it kind of is, in the sense that the modern definition of freedom, which we talk about a lot, is neutrality and choosing. The older definition of freedom is willing, predicated, on knowledge. So if you're deficient in your discipline or you're deficient in your knowledge, if you're ignorant, you can't be truly free. And so the argument that she would make is, well, obviously my relationship with Hef wasn't consensual, only an insane person would get into a sexual relationship with Hef. If you're a pretty young woman, you'd have to be totally insane. You'd have to have mental illness to marry Hugh Hefner, and she's right about that. So I guess according to a more classical definition, it wasn't all that consensual. He was kind of exploiting her, but then wouldn't you say that any man who visits a prostitute is exploiting the prostitute? All of a sudden the moral criteria that we're considering go a lot deeper than merely consent. So the problem for the modern sexual revolutionaries and the feminists is they want to have their cake and eat it too. They want all of the licentiousness of the new definition of freedom, but they want all of the rights of the old definition of freedom. So they want to go out and have the Manaja Weed at Cornell or get the free house from Hugh Hefner and have your life paid for for five or six years. But then when they feel shame and regret, they want to go back to the old definition of freedom and say, well, he exploited me, he violated me, perhaps he even raped me. And the thing is, according to the old definition of freedom and the old rules of society, basically all of these people would be arrested and imprisoned and possibly executed, you know, according to the old definition, a guy like Hugh Hefner wouldn't have gotten away with his behavior for more than two weeks before he was put in the stocks in the town square at least. So you can't have both. And I guess my humble suggestion to people who are recognizing that the sexual revolution has problems, my humble suggestion to these people who say, you know what, this is bad and this is exploitative and the things have gone wrong and the kids are not okay. And my humble suggestion is guys, everything you were taught is wrong. The sexual revolution, it was wrong. We have enough data points now. Hugh Hefner was wrong. The feminists were wrong. The liberals were wrong. So if you want to have a flourishing life, you got to throw all that out. But if you're going to throw that out, you really have to throw all that out. You can't just throw out the playboy mansion. You've got to throw out feminism. You can't just throw out the pornography. You've got to throw out the week and sexual more is generally. You got it. You got to throw it all out. And now one thing, once you've cleaned house enough, one new product you should purchase is original grain. Go to originalgrain.com/Michael, code Michael. We now move speaking of revolutions from the sexual revolution to the revolution in Cuba. Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, is recruiting people for the CIA in Cuba to overthrow their regime. He says to those who seek to create positive change in Cuba, now is the time. The disappointment of failed promises corruption and the privileged lives of only a few sees this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA. What a great, would you like to engage in a discrete partnership with the CIA? Would you like to, what a seduction. Hey, don't worry, we're very discreet over here at the CIA, would you, would you like to overthrow your government? Well, reply to this tweet, send me a DM. Probably you don't want to send a DM, probably you want to reach out in some other way. It's on, man. Trump has been talking about this for a long time, but it does kind of look like we're going to overthrow Cuba. Our friends over at Calci have a pull up. Which countries will Marco Rubio visit this year, Switzerland, 32%, Qatar, 20% Cuba right now is at 17% and I think the verb visit is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I don't think that Rubio is going to go visit for a state dinner from the old Communist regime. I think if he visits, he's going to be throwing on the double Rolex, you know, the military fatigues, El Comandante, El Hefe Marco, and I think there's a very good chance that this will happen. Why? Well, in part, we knocked over Venezuela. We've been trying to knock over Iran and now we're on our way back. We're coming back home anyway. You got to bring the ships back to Doc. I guess we'll knock over Cuba on the way. It has been an element of the grand strategy of the United States for 60 years to overthrow the Cuban Communist regime more than 60 years at this point. But the other reason why it gets down to the geopolitical vision of Trump.
which a lot of people have gotten wrong. For over a dozen years now, President Trump has been called the N-word. A lot of people on the left and the right, they wanna call President Trump the N-word, a nationalist. But Trump is not actually a nationalist. Trump is an imperialist. I called it from the beginning, and I was totally right, and you know what I hate to say, I told you so. Nationalists, ideological nationalists, don't demand that other countries give us their colonies. They don't demand that Denmark give us Greenland. Nationalists, pure, true ideological nationalists, do not brag about taking out the top general in one of our geopolitical adversaries and dropping the Moab on some other country, and knocking over another country, but keeping the regime substantially in place albeit reporting to us so that we get the oil. That's not how nationalists operate. That is how an imperialist operates, which is good. Imperialism is good, and I think it's a sound or understanding of the world. There are different forms of world order. There is the polis, the very local political community, which has certain advantages, and it makes certain forms of political organization easier, but it's got disadvantages too. Then there's the nation, and then there's the empire. The nation is this kind of intermediate ground, but empire has traditionally been the favored form of government for Christendom, for our civilization, in part because heaven is not divided up into lots of tiny little nations, and neither should the world down here below. Let it be done on earth as it is in heaven, we pray in the Lord's Prayer, and so we recognize that there's a kind of political unity that is conducive to freedom. The argument for empire is that, and Dante makes this argument in his book about this subject called monarchya. Empire provides peace. That is basically the offer of empire, and peace is essential for freedom and flourishing. You cannot really have freedom and flourishing if you can't guarantee security, as you're always looking out for raving bands of baboons to come and steal your stuff. So you can't deal with that. If you cannot protect yourself, again, if you cannot protect your citizens against the elements, against literal beasts, against other men who are more beastly than the beasts, then you can't have a freedom or flourishing society. That's what Trump is after, and he's saying, look, we have this hostile regime, 90 miles off the coast of Florida. We can't tolerate that anymore. We have geopolitical adversaries like Russian, China, coming in and trying to mess around in our elections, in our hemisphere, and we're not going to tolerate that. We have interests around the world. We're going to pursue them. That's what President Trump means when he says he's going to make America great again. Here is the U.S. Ambassador to the UN having a little showdown with the Cuban ambassador who clearly thinks the jig is almost up. Ambassador, back away. This isn't a banner. I'm suspending the mid-american. I'm suspending this mid-american. Do you understand who you're dealing with? This is America, back up. Okay, so the Cuban ambassador, you can see him there, he's holding up some sheet of paper, and he's yelling. He's, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, you're singing whatever. And then Mike Waltz is there and he says, hey, hey, hey, sit down. You're not going to come up here and intimidate the United States. In the United States, don't forget the UN is in New York. You're not going to do that. This is America. You sit down. This is the language of a guy who knows that we're going to go in there and actually invade and take Cuba. Or at the very least, follow the Trump order, which is go in there, mess around with the regime, make it a little more conducive to our interests rather than Russian interests and Chinese interests. Speaking of the Cold War with China, President Trump, a lot of people didn't understand this post, but I got it immediately. Trump is really upset that people are calling AI, AI. He really hates that people are calling artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence. And so he's going off on the Wall Street Journal. He says, when will the Wall Street Journal start calling artificial intelligence AI, a very bad and inaccurate name, SI, superintelligence, the name which virtually everyone else is using or soon will be. In short order, we will be officially banning the term AI, artificial intelligence in all relevant documents and everything else due to its inaccuracy. Thank you for your attention to this matter. President Donald J. Trump. What is this about? Trump hates the term AI, artificial intelligence, because he thinks it's bad branding. I'm confident. I've not spoken to the president about this. I've not spoken to senior advisors about this, but I'm pretty sure that's what this is about. He hates the term artificial intelligence because he thinks it's bad branding because people don't like artificial things. What do you prefer? Sugar or artificial sweetener? What do you prefer? Grass or artificial turf? Artificial just has a negative connotation. What do you prefer leather or artificial leather? Everybody prefers the real thing. So Trump says, I know, we're going to get rid of artificial, which always has a negative connotation and we're going to make it super, which always has a good connotation, superintelligence. Now, there's an ontological problem here, which someone who's only focused on the branding is probably not going to appreciate, which is that artificial intelligence is not intelligence. And the reason it's not it, it's not because it's not impressive, it's not because we shouldn't use it, it's not because it isn't really cool, it's not because it isn't important to national security. Artificial intelligence is not intelligence because intelligence, the intellect, is an immaterial substance. The mind is not the brain. The way that we know intelligence is an immaterial substance is because intelligence deals with forms, immaterial forms. Like your eyes are dealing with color, your fingers and your touch, it's dealing with texture, your nose is dealing with smells, but your intellect is dealing with immaterial forms, like justice, like freedom, like mathematics, right? So something that's purely matter, simply cannot receive immaterial forms. That's why, that's like the philosophical jargon as to why AI is not and cannot ever be the same thing as intelligence. So there are going to be a lot of people who they want to get on the team. They want to help with the branding, but they just can't go ahead and call AISI because of this ontological issue. 'Cause by the way, if you grant that ontological issue, you're going to end up falling into all sorts of errors about human nature and about religion and about God and about the very texture of the cosmos. And so they're not willing to go that far. But the President Trump does have a good point here, which is we need to convince people that AI is good rather than bad. And the reason we need to convince people that AI is good is because we're currently in an arms race with China. We're in an arms race with China because we're in a cold war with China. And we need to win. A lot of the anti-AI stuff is coming from China. China wants to displace America as the global hegemon or at the very least rise up to become a rival superpower so that we have a bipolar world. And Trump doesn't want that to happen. 'Cause Trump is an imperialist, so Trump wants to run the world. And he doesn't want to be just one nation set within limits, only minding our own business. That's the issue. So I don't have any suggestion as of yet as to how we can deal with that AI problem. But that is why there is pushback. It's because we want to beat China. We want to be the leaders in AI. We want to keep our economy. Don't forget, AI is propping up our entire economy. Those seven tech stocks are propping up the whole stock market. So we need to do well on AI, but we also can totally forsake our understanding of the cosmos in order to do it. So I don't know, we need, we should workshop. What's the new euphemism we should use for artificial intelligence? Is there another one? Let me know. Let me know if you figure it out. Speaking of these sensitive political issues, these imperial political issues, a young man, a young right-winger, just as Senator Cruz on the campaign trail, an important question that's on the minds of a lot of young right-wing men. I thought Senator Cruz gave an excellent answer. We'll get to that in a second first though. I want to tell you about GOP votes. Go to GOPvotes.org, the democratic socialists of America, one primary is across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress, and they're coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen our border, force men into women's sports. You are the last line of defense in GOPvotes.org is your partner in the fight. Go to GOPvotes.org right now, make a plan to vote early. If you live in the critical Senate Battleground States of Alaska, Michigan, Maine, Ohio, Iowa, or Texas, early voting is already underway this week. Democrats or energized, the stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford to have people like AOC, and her communist crony is running the show. That is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now, go to GOPvotes.org, to find your polling location, vote early and stop the socialist takeover of America, paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. So I don't even have my phone on me right now. So this was all, this was all the producers. We'll see if they did a good job. It's from DJ Colt Cuts says all the walls were dirty and the smoke detectors were chirping. President Trump on the state of the White House after eight years of Obama, that is racist, sir. That is racist. What he is suggesting is that black people don't change the non-bolt battery in their smoke detector. That is racist because certain classes of white people do that too. - But it's true. A lot of black people do that. They won't change the battery in the smoke detector. But there are certain classes of white people that do that too. I remember that. I've gone to friends apartments when I was a kid and just beyond all the time. All the time. I actually didn't even know it was only a black people thing or mostly a black people thing. Okay. Senator Cruz, on the campaign trail, stumping for Ken Paxton, he gets a question from a young guy that a lot of young right wing guys you're thinking about. I bet Israel and America's relationship to Israel and why Israel is so important to foreign policy and why we gotta deal with Israel all the time and why anyone cares and why we give them all this money. What's the deal with Israel? Senator Cruz. - Good, super cool question. I was a great drinker. I was at the memorial and this was a funeral and everything. I just wanted to ask because I love what you're saying against the memorial, I know you're right. Lefty stuff, and then it's my birthday. I would say as a policy of my main problem other than the liberal stuff is the Israel influence in America. So I kind of swung to your thoughts on that because I know you're talking to a talker about that as well. So I think it's a really important issue to talk about it. So I guess what I would encourage is spend some time really studying and learning. There's a lot of disinformation pushed online. So both China and Iran are spending millions of dollars trying to convince young people that Israel's like that. - Yeah, it's having a lot of people are watching us online and listening to you. - Listen, I strongly support Israel because doing so is an America's best in it. - Is it a good little perspective for more people? - Right. - As you see, it is national security for America. And it means it is real, it means it's America and France. - I really like this answer from Senator Cruz. By the way, I can't help but notice, you know, there have been some reports that Senator Cruz might run for president. I can't help but notice that blue jacket's fitting a little bit better, getting a little trimmer. Obviously hitting the campaign trail, which he does a lot. But this answer I really, really like because when pro-Israel politicians are asked about supporting Israel, especially by young conservatives, and they give the answer that we have to support Israel 'cause God promised them the land 3,000 years ago. It doesn't play. It just doesn't play. So it lands so flat, it's a joke, man. And it lands flat for a number of reasons. Some of them theological because the perspective that we must support the modern nation state of Israel because of some theological promise or prophecy. That is a very novel and narrow theological view that has not been shared by most Christians throughout history. It's actually been shared by very, very few Christians throughout history. It really comes out of the 19th century. Many people listening right now might hold that view. I'm just saying, it don't play. It don't play on the campaign trail. The next point that a politician might raise, which I think could be more persuasive is, hey, the Jews have been seriously persecuted over the centuries and they were very seriously persecuted and nearly exterminated in the 20th century. And so it is a good thing to do for them to have a nation state to call their own. So they won't be persecuted in hostile nations. That, I think, is a more persuasive argument. Once again, I travel to a lot of campuses. I talk to a lot of young conservatives. It just doesn't play that much and doesn't play that much. In part because the Holocaust was a long time ago. World War II was a long time ago. The historical memory has receded a bit. It just does not have the same emotional pull that it would have one generation, two, three generations prior. So I think the strongest argument that the pro-Israel politicians can make is the argument that Senator Cruz made here. Because he's talking about the perspective of national security. They say, well, Iran wants to blow us up. And that's somewhat persuasive. They do chant death to America. They do want us to be destroyed and weakened. But I don't think a lot of people are afraid that Iran is going to immediately launch a direct attack on the United States. I think that would be unlikely. I think it's much more likely that they're going to launch a direct attack on the state of Israel. And so plenty of Americans are going to say, well, you know, man, I like the Israelis. But what do I, I don't really care. That's another country they can deal with it themselves. So there's the national security perspective, which is somewhat persuasive. To me, the strongest argument is the first part of what Senator Cruz said, which is the imperial argument. Just one little data point here that should help us think about this issue. Let's say you don't care about the state of Israel. You don't care about the Bible. You don't care about the Jews. You don't care about foreign policy generally. You don't, you're sick of it. Okay, you're sick of all the Israel talk. Let's say all of that's true. I can't help but notice that China and Russia really want to weaken the US's real alliance. Have you noticed that? They do it sometimes in overt ways, sometimes in more surreptitious ways, but they are constantly trying to undermine the US Israel alliance. Why is that? Why is it the case that our main geopolitical adversaries want to weaken the US alliance with the state of Israel? It must be because the US alliance with the state of Israel undermines the growth and the increase in influence of our geopolitical adversaries because this is imperial politics. And so the kind of propaganda that our adversaries will push in is why does America care about any country in the world, why are they giving money to any country? Can't help but notice China invests a lot of money in countries around the world, don't they? Doesn't China invest a lot of money in Africa, in the Middle East? Forget that. In Europe, in Latin America? So if sending money to other countries and investing and sending arms and technology to other countries, if that's so bad for the countries that are giving those things away, why is China doing it so much? Russia does that too. No, the way I think about the US is real issue. Is it America's a global empire? And Israel is a kind of colony, one of the colonies of the American empire. Europe is another colony of the American empire and it's just outworks. We've grown to become the global headgemon. And sometimes that province over there in the Middle East has been troublesome going all the way back to antiquity and sometimes the tail does wag the dog a little bit. But that's just what happens in imperial politics. And I think when you view the issue that way, it makes a lot more sense of it. You might still want to undermine the American empire. You might still want to reset the Israel relationship or any other international relationship. But at least it will cut through a lot of the propaganda, a lot of these slogans that I just think are kind of silly and part of the disinformation that Senator Cruz is talking about. Okay, speaking of people overseas, a story I really want to get to. Megan Markle, one of the villains of popular culture around the West. Megan Markle is getting a little bit more sympathy here because it turns out that Megan Markle's dad might be a pedophile, might be like a child abusing pedophile. And all of a sudden, Megan Markle is looking kind of sympathetic. We don't have time to get into the whole story right now. But the reason that I care about the story is now 'cause I care about Megan Markle. I do care about the royal family. I do actually, I do love the British monarchy. But the reason I care about it is public opinion can change on a dime. Megan Markle was universally reviled and she's still kind of reviled. But if it turns out that she broke away from her dad 'cause he's a pedophile and maybe she was abused or maybe he was abusing others and she was on the side of justice and trying to protect children. And all of a sudden, she kind of looks like the good guy in all of this. All of a sudden, public opinion change is pretty rapidly. And I'm really concerned about public opinion changing rapidly 'cause the polls are really bad for Republicans right now and I really, really need them to be wrong. We were talking about Israel a little bit at the end of the show and gets us back to Israel at the top of the show. The pollsters are wrong in Israel. Let's hope, let's hope that it is true here. One thing you can do beyond just hoping and praying is getting out to vote straight Republican down the ticket. Okay, today is news or noise. The rest of the show continues now. Summary:
S. midterm elections.
S. imperial strategy toward Iran, Cuba, and Israel, framed as a counter to China’s rise.
