Ep. 2088 - WHAT? Ilhan Omar Is Apparently NOT The Real Ilhan Omar
55m 20s
The show blends satirical commentary with promotional content, promoting various products including a new action movie, modafinil for focus, a political trading platform (Calshi), home security (SimpliSafe), and a small business loan service (Cardiff). A central theme is a sharp critique of Democratic political narratives, especially their use of baseless conspiracy theoriesâsuch as claims about Senator Lindsey Graham or Ilhan Omarâs identityâas a "big October surprise." The host argues that such stories are politically manipulative, lacking factual grounding, and symptomatic of a broader cultural decay. The show also questions how media narratives dominate political discourse, overshadowing real issues like inflation and foreign policy. It highlights the perceived hypocrisy of liberal ideology, which the host claims misrepresents human nature and leads to harmful outcomes. Amid these critiques, the host defends conservative values, personal responsibility, and the need for public virtue, while promoting a range of products with recurring discount codes. The tone is irreverent and confrontational, using humor and exaggeration to expose what it sees as political and cultural failings, particularly in mid-term election coverage.
Okay, fellas, since Hollywood can't do anything right anymore, we did their job for them.

Here's what's actually happening.
Coffee only briefly blocks adenosine, the chemical that tires you out.
When it stops working, your system is flooded and you crash.
Modafinil is a prescription treatment that works in a completely different way.
Modafinil works by stimulating multiple receptors in the brain associated with wakefulness,
including dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine, histamine, glutamate, and orexin.
It's a more complete solution that gives you 10 to 12 hours of steady focus and energy.

The Democrats spring their big October surprise of the 2026 midterm elections.
It involves male prostitutes.
And a Republican senator.
And it targets a dead guy.
That's apparently the best they have.
I feel like Democrats should have better stuff this year.
You got this unpopular war, rising gas prices.
But no, they are just calling a dead guy gay.
Then, Democrat Congresslady Ilhan Omar is apparently not actually Ilhan Omar.
This investigation just keeps deepening.
They say, well, maybe she married her brother.
Her husband is not really her husband.
And, oh, actually, maybe her citizenship was not legitimate.
Now it turns out that's not even her name.
A new federal investigation reveals that the legislator representing al-Shabaab
is hiding even more than we previously thought.
And Abdul Al-Sayed squirms over his connections to the Muslim Brotherhood
in the final stretch of the midterms.
I'm Michael Knowles.
This is The Michael Knowles Show.
Thank you very much.
This is the second Republican president in a row who has been my fan,
and I'm just deeply honored.
And I feel the get it now is tantamount to an executive order.
I feel that this is a command.
This is now a legal obligation of every patriotic American
to go out and buy Find Me Nowhere.
By the way, with a Congress that can't do anything,
the executive order is actually the highest form of the law.
Exactly.
Exactly.
You have to go get the book, Find Me Nowhere.
I have to admit,
I felt,
I felt a twinge of sadness when I saw this post from the president.
Not for you, not for me,
but for our colleagues, Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh,
because now they're the only ones here who have not had a book endorsed on social media by President Trump.
It's a shame, but, you know, virtue has its own rewards, I'm sure.
I don't know what they are, but there must be some.
Yes.
I mean, I'm sure Ben and Matt have, you know, some kind of consolation,
possibly drink, heavily drinking, something like that.
And, you know, I feel for them, but I'm sure that they can handle it.
Uh, with some kind of, you know, drug-induced, uh, you know, serenity.
And I think, you know, look, it's you and me.
We're the people who attract the, the highest office, the most powerful people in the world to read our books and endorse our books.
And it was a little easier with you because you had no words in your books, but, you know, that. He, he, he was actually able to endorse my book before reading it.
Uh, whereas in, in your case, this book does have words, it has pages and chapters.
Yes.
And it is doing very, very well, if I'm right.
This is one of the Cameron Winter stories.
And, uh, because the American right doesn't produce any art ever or anything, at least rising to a proper definition of art.
Uh, maybe, look, I don't mean to diminish your accomplishment, but since you are possibly the only conservative artist in the country, then, you know, it was kind of a gimme, wasn't it?
Yeah.
You know, selling, selling art, selling culture to conservatives is like selling ice boxes to people who really need ice boxes, but don't know it, you know?
So it's always, it's always. It's always a little difficult, but these books, let's see, this is the sixth one, I think four of them have been bestsellers, uh, so they've done really well, and I, I think, you know, I did, I purposely went back to the mystery form that I started out with to sort of bring all the stuff that I've learned over my lifetime, and this is, I, I think it's like a really big accomplishment.
I think these books, I just finished the one after this, which may be the last one, uh, and I, I just think this series, this series is the history of a game.
I think this series is the history of a game.
It's a beautiful imagination of, you know, the afterlife, but a beautiful imagination of America is also, you know, can give you the same kind of wisdom about this subject.
So I, I expect you to get back to me with a full book report.
It's, the president has commanded, you know, he didn't say, please, if you would get it now, he said, get it now.
I think that's, you know, we don't need the Supreme Court to interpret that.
And I think there's an implicit threat of violence there.
I think so too.
If you don't, if you don't go get it, yes.
No, you're, you're right.
And I'm, I'm example A.
I'm exhibit A when it comes to conservative fiction.
Because I generally don't read fiction.
I guess I have read a lot of fiction because people have whipped me into doing it at school and for work and things like that.
And then every time I read some great novel, I think, wow, this has expanded my universe, the cosmos for me.
I see life differently now.
That was a really edifying experience.
Never doing that again.
No, that's enough.
You're like an alcoholic friend I had who once I talked him into giving up alcohol for 90 days.
His life was absolutely transformed.
Completely transformed.
You know, got a girlfriend, lost all the bad friends, made good friends, lost weight.
And 90 days were up and he started drinking again.
That's the way, that's the way you treat fiction.
It changes your life.
It broadens your mind.
It deepens your heart.
And then stop doing it.
Don't do that anymore.
But yeah, Drew, mama didn't raise no quitters.
So I didn't, you know, if I'm getting on the wagon for 90 days, I gotta, the best part is hopping back off, you know, and starting it all up again.
So this is a good sign for the culture.
The midterm elections are kind of a,
would seem to me to be kind of a bad sign for the culture.
We'll get into the polls and some of the races, El Sayed and Tallarico and all the rest.
But now I've got another good sign for the culture, which is, I don't know if you saw this yesterday, speaking of works of fiction,
but the Democrats led by Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks came out with their own work of art, which was the big October surprise.
They were teasing it for a day or two.
They said a Republican senator has been caught.
We got him dead to rights with male prostitutes.
And the minute that they started teasing it,
everyone said, what, is this a thing on Lindsey Graham?
who's dead and you're doing a lindsey graham thing and sure enough they said we caught lindsey graham
now i watched all not every minute but i because i skipped over some of the particularly nauseating
descriptions from the male prostitutes but i i watched most of the movie uh here is just a
here is just a little taste of what you can get from this shocking expose put out by the libs
and if you vote for darling graham she's not gonna represent her constituents you are giving
her power just to work for someone else she is not going to work for you she's just a figure
in a power structure and she's a pawn your gas prices are high because of policies that people
like senator graham were supporting while they were paying people like me for sex does that make
you mad does that make america mad
you
I don't think so i think that we need to hold elected officials to a higher standard
okay so just i really want to get your first reaction to this but as far as i can tell the
big october surprise is that a a few male hookers are accusing a dead guy of a bunch of unfalsifiable
claims and their main point is you should vote for democrats because gas prices are high i have
you know a lot of conspiracy theories on the right now about also all sorts of stuff but the jews
mostly the jews but about all sorts of other stuff too and i think my conspiracy theory but maybe the
most shocking one of all having watched that documentary i now think there is a chance that
lindsey graham was not a homosexual is that
Is that going to get my show canceled?
I have to say, if he wasn't, the Little Mermaid bubble wand that he carried around Disney World was a good disguise.
It was an excellent disguise.
But what I liked is that the male homosexuals, the homosexual prostitutes, are giving us political advice.
They weren't saying, you know, I slept with this guy, he was a hypocrite or whatever.
They were actually telling us why we should vote for who we should vote for.
And I'm thinking, when I want political advice, I turn to homosexual prostitutes.
Also known as the political class.
Also known as Congress.
But also, aren't gay people supposed to be great?
I mean, doesn't the left tell us that gay people are like the angels of our culture?
So isn't this a revelation that Lindsay was a wonderful, wonderful man?
No, this is more of your right-wing propaganda.
Because what you don't understand, Drew, is, one, we have to believe prostitutes.
Because they would never do anything for money.
Believe all prostitutes.
But, you know, specifically homosexual prostitutes after their supposed client is dead.
What you don't understand, though, is, and I've heard this from a lot of conservatives.
They say, wait a second, the left told us gay stuff is really, really great.
So shouldn't this make us think more highly of Lindsay Graham?
But no, no, no.
The issue, Drew, is the hypocrisy.
Don't you understand?
The hypocrisy.
A politician who is a hypocrite is a politician.
I mean, it doesn't mean anything.
I also think, I don't really believe that.
They care about hypocrisy.
Because, for instance, if, let's say that I came out.
I mentioned this on the show yesterday.
Let's say I came out on my show and I said, hey, I do not bake pies for widows and orphans.
I don't, I won't do it.
I think it's wrong.
But then secretly behind the scenes, I were baking pies for widows and orphans.
Would that, would that make me bad?
Because I'm a hypocrite.
I said I don't do it, but then I do it.
I know.
It's a terrible thing.
You know, Lindsay Graham was a really good senator.
And he was a voice, you know, he was not.
He was not a guy I always agreed with, but he was a voice that we needed in the Senate.
And I, I, you probably don't know this because you don't watch the news much, but the man is dead.
He's gone.
He's not serving anything, you know.
And they're telling us why we shouldn't, you know, vote for another person who is related to him because they're gay prostitutes.
So they, you know, I'm sorry.
This is, this is kind of what I expect.
I would, I would like to say this is not what I expect from Cenk Uygur, but this is exactly what I expect from Cenk Uygur.
Like a big fanfare for absolutely nothing.
I'm, I'm kind of, the whole midterm thing has kind of got me baffled anyway, because I understand the price of gas is high.
I get that.
And it's a burden for people.
People have to drive to work or drive for work.
It's a burden for people.
So you're going to vote for, you know, jihadists.
A terrorist.
They're going to vote for Abdel, Abdul El-Sayed, who won't, you know, deny the Muslim Brotherhood.
That's what they're going to do.
This is the logic of the American electorate.
I'm getting a little worried about our friends in the American electorate.
I'm beginning to think that maybe our.
Country is being run by people who are not paying very close attention.
Yeah, as H.L. Mencken said, democracy is the theory that the common man knows what he wants and deserves to get it good and hard.
I do wonder, because I'm quite concerned about the midterms and what we can get into, as you mentioned, Abdul El-Sayed squirming over the Muslim Brotherhood.
The other point, though, because as you say, do they not know that Lindsey Graham is dead?
Like, why are they, why are they putting this out?
I do think there's a minor point to this attack, which is.
Most people assumed Lindsey Graham was a homosexual.
Yeah, my conspiracy theory is I think there's a chance he wasn't.
But most people kind of assume that about him and didn't care.
Some people didn't like his views on war.
They didn't like his views on immigration.
He was very good at being a senator.
He was very good at that, at the actual job of being a senator.
He he was a leader of one of the factions of the GOP.
OK, that's fine.
But I think the left is really irritated that conservatives.
Say, yeah, marriage is between a man and a woman.
Yeah, there is normative sexual behavior and sexual ethics.
Also, if Lindsey Graham is a little bit weird, but we agree with him on at least a fair number of things.
We don't like care that much.
It doesn't keep us up at night.
I think it's that the failure to be either the Taliban or like dancing in the streets with Pride Parade with Abdul El-Sayed,
who might be in the Taliban and in a Pride Parade, depending on the day of the week.
It's that kind of tension that I.
I think they really hate about conservatives.
Well, they don't understand the fact that we can feel that what you are doing in your private life is none of your business, is none of my business.
But that doesn't make it right.
You might be doing something that's wrong, but it's still none of my business.
You're not hurting anybody.
You're not scaring the horses.
You're not breaking the law.
You know, so so what it's not it's literally not my business, but that doesn't make it right.
So, you know, I'm frequently talking about feminists and the fact that they are just destroying themselves by not getting married,
by not having kids, they're just losing the most important part of life.
But it's not my job to tell them what to do.
I'm just telling them what I think of the way they're living.
I'm telling them why I think they're miserable.
I'm not telling them you go out and do this, girl.
You know, they have no they haven't because they think everything is required or forbidden.
The left thinks everything is required or forbidden.
So they can't imagine people who are saying, well, some things are wrong, but you have a right to do them.
And that's none of my business.
But I don't think you should.
You know, that's perfectly.
Yes.
You know, there are priorities in the world.
And it's kind of like the.
Don Draper scene in Mad Men of, you know, the young ad man is just kind of saying, you know what?
I really think of you, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And Don Draper says, you know what?
I hardly ever think of you.
I know it's really not.
Yeah, it's a weird world.
And probably people should behave a certain way.
But we all love Cole Porter.
So whatever.
Yeah.
OK.
Speaking of possibly homosexual jihadis, I will get to Abdul Al-Sayed.

Drew, I know you're a little bit, you're feeling a little bitter about the midterms than I am.
Things are looking a little rough to me.
All the polls are essentially tied.
They're statistically tied.
Abdul Al-Sayed has been hit on this Muslim Brotherhood line.
And this came up in a debate with Mike Rogers just recently.
Here is Abdul Al-Sayed trying to.
Squirm out of it.
I've never been a part of.
Because my mom, who's a nurse in Missouri, it doesn't make any sense.
And it's actually really quite beneath you, Mike.
It's really quite beneath you.
To call into question my loyalty to the Constitution.
I'm talking.
I'm talking.
I'm talking.
Well, own up to it.
Excuse me.
Yeah, go ahead.
Can I have a few more seconds?
Yes, go ahead.
Thank you.
To bring into question my commitment to the Constitution is really beneath you.
To bring up my biography.
He says, well, because my mom's a nurse in Missouri.
No, it's because your mom was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Nobody disputes that.
His mom, Fatin El-Khomi, was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Abdul Al-Sayed's sister, Iman Abdel Hadi, who's a U.S.
Chicago professor, says, quote, my family has long been MB, Muslim Brotherhood. His father-in-law,
Jukaku Tayeb, is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood through the Islamic Society of North America and
CARE. His sister-in-law, Mariam Jukaku, is on a terrorism watch list. She has the four S's on
her boarding pass, secondary screening, a former foreign affairs spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood
for a party associated with MB donated to Abdul's campaign. And Abdul himself was the VP of the
Muslim Students Association in college, which was founded in collaboration with the Muslim
Brotherhood. So, you know, look, there's a reason he might be squirming a little bit. It's not
because his mom's a nurse. Is this guy going to win? You know, I do not think so. I don't believe
he will. But then I am a naturally optimistic person. The polls seem to me kind of meaningless.
They've been so off and we don't know how they'll be off. These guys call like, you know, people on
their cell phones. Do you ever answer a cell phone call from someone you don't know? I don't answer
them from people I do know. That's true. You don't even answer the calls from me.
I thought it was just me, but I'm hoping it's all the people you know. But yeah, you know,
I cannot believe that people are going to say gas is too high. So I'm voting for a guy who clearly
wants to drive this country into the dirt. I mean, he intentionally, it's not like he wants to do
things that we don't like. He intentionally wants to destroy the country. And the thing about the
Muslim Brotherhood is in a way it's irrelevant because his actual opinions are in league with
which is in league with Iran, who believes in bringing death to America. I mean, everything
these guys say, you know, if it weren't for the anti-Semites on the right confusing people,
I don't care what you think of Israel. I don't care. But if you think Israel's enemy is Iran,
Iran's national anthem begins death to America. That's their theme song. That's what they want.
That's what they're building toward. So Israel's enemy is our enemy. I mean, it's just that simple.
Not like they're our enemy because they hate Israel. They're our enemy because they want
us dead. And I, you know, I call me crazy, but when you want me dead, I consider you
not a nice person. You know, I think, so these are the people that he supports, openly supports.
These are the people that he cries over. He cries over the fate of the people in Gaza who danced
like it was the Superbowl when their guys went over the line and raped and killed children, women,
men that they were celebrating like it was, you know, Superbowl Sunday. He supports them. What
else do we need to know about him? He keeps bringing up
the constitution as if he'd read it once, but I don't, you know, I don't see what he believes in
that makes him not our enemy. He is our enemy. Why would we put our enemy into the Senate? So
look, that's logic. As you say, maybe the American voter is, is tired of logic and tired of self,
you know, sustaining government, but I have to believe they're going to turn against them.
But part of the question is who is the American voter, or at least who's the
Michigan voter? Abdul Al-Sayed is relying on 80% support in Dearborn because Dearborn is now
entirely Muslim and his bigger base of support. It's not the Muslims. It's college educated,
liberal white women in the rest of Michigan. And the thing that links both of those groups is
they both kind of want to destroy America. So, you know, even, even though president
Trump was able to win a pretty strong percentage of the Muslim vote, including in Michigan,
the rest of the GOP doesn't really have that draw. Trump is just,
sui generis. He's, he just speaks in a way to the American voter and, and the non-American voter
that is extremely impressive. And so there are voters, I strongly suspect, who voted for Trump,
who will vote for Abdul Al-Sayed. And so we have our sponsor Free Spoke here as the election hub.
I agree that the, the polls are a little wonky, but if you go into the election hub here, right,
right here on our sponsor Free Spoke, you scroll down, the generic ballot is absolutely brutal for
the Republicans. I mean, it's Dems plus seven and a half, according to ActiveVote, YouGov, Dems plus
nine, Sienna, Dems plus 11, on and on and on. You, you get down into the polling average 50.4%
for the Democrats, 49, 42.5 for the Republicans. In those individual races, the Democrats basically
have an advantage within the margin of error usually, but, but a notable advantage. So
the truth gets buried. Free Spoke helps you find it. You decide. They also have this great,

I just feared- Did you not hear the President of the United States say,
get this book now? Did you miss that? Look, I listened to the President. You know the other
thing the President just said, and I called this a month or two months ago. He just came out and he
was warning voters. He said, hey, heads up. Iran is doing everything it can to drive up oil prices
in the lead up to the midterms. Yeah.
And there were a lot of Republicans back in August who said, yeah, the polls are bad for us now,
but it's a natural low point for Republicans in these midterm polls. Don't worry, they're
going to get better as we get closer to the election. I said, yeah, maybe that's the historical
trend, but the problem is everything's going to get worse because Iran has a calendar too,
and Iran knows when the midterms are. So the gas prices are certainly going to go up. They're
going to go up because of things that happened two months ago, but they're going to go up because
of things that Iran is doing right now, and that's just built into it. By the way, we still have a
lot of almost two weeks left. It's going to get worse from here on out. The Iran war is deeply,
deeply unpopular. I mean, it's at 32, 33% approval with very high affirmative disapproval, you know,
55 plus percent. One, what's going to happen? You know, as you say, you're a little more
optimistic. And two, if the Republicans get blown out of the water, where is the blame going to lie?
Is it going to be the Iran war? Is it going to be because Trump is looking,
ahead at the end of the second term? Is it going to be because of the insanity among the
live streamers and the podcasters? And is it going to be because natural fissions in the GOP
that existed pre-Trump are re-emerging? Where's the fault lie? Well, I think we have to step back.
To answer that question, you have to step back a minute. You have to look at what President Trump
is thinking. President Trump hates war. He's a businessman. You know, just like, you know,
the mafia hates war, right? Because people who do business want peace so people can do business.
And that's what Trump is like.
He doesn't like people being killed. He doesn't like watching innocent people being killed on the
late night news. You know, these are the things that actually motivate him. So his argument is
these guys whose theme song is Death to America were building a nuclear weapon and they were
getting close. And yes, that's first a threat to Israel, but only because Israel is standing in
our way. That's the only reason, you know, they want to go after Israel first. They want us dead.
So he thought, I've got to go in there. He knew when the midterms were just as well as anybody
else.
to do is he's trying to reestablish the world. In all of his foreign policy, his motivation
is to reestablish America in such a way that we can endure the next 50 to 75 years of Cold War
with China. And part of that is going to be being in control of where their energy comes from,
much of which is coming through the passages through Iran. So he's got a global vision.
This is the thing about Donald Trump. He's not the most articulate man in the world.
He's wonderful in the sense that he will say anything that's on his mind, but he doesn't
always explain to people what he's doing. So he has a global vision that looks forward into the
next century, into the rest of this century, which is going to be dominated by this Cold War.
That means gas prices are going to go up for a little bit. And he knew that. He knew it to begin
with. Talk about an optimist. He's always a little more optimistic than I am. He thinks things are
going to be over in a week. They're going to be over in a couple of weeks. And the Iranians are
nuts. They're not interested in a deal. They're not interested in negotiating. They're interested
in killing us.
Right. So essentially his pitch to the American people is, listen, guys, I get it. I'm making you
sacrifice something for a vision that you're going to love as your children grow up in a world where
we have some leeway for dealing with China. He's never said that to the people. He's never said,
this is a sacrifice I'm asking you to make. And I'm risking the midterms. I understand that. But
I'm making a sacrifice, but I want you to make a sacrifice. He doesn't say that because he feels
that his entire role. His entire role is to be the cheerleader for America. He's said as much. He said, use that
word exactly. And I think the fault may lie there. I think the fault may lie in the fact that he
doesn't like to talk about sacrifice. He doesn't like to talk about what, you know, remember the
famous John F. Kennedy line, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for
your country. When was the last time that was in play in America, right? I mean, basically politicians
say, ask not what you can do for America, ask what America can do for you.
Would the line play anymore?
Would the line. in 2026 play? You know, I think it might. I think it might. And I think that the
people might have responded to that and might still respond to that, that he understands,
because it is, it does make people suffer, you know? I mean, we in the media don't really
understand, you know, we get chauffeured around places, we get paid very well, but people who
are working for a living use their cars and that money comes right out of their pockets and right
out of their profit margin. So it really is a sacrifice that he is asking for a vision that
he has of the future. Now, American politics is based on the last 10 minutes and the press
works overtime to make sure we're paying attention to, did a dead man sleep with gay prostitutes? I
mean, that's a typical, you know, in Cenk Uygur's defense, that's a typical press move in America,
you know, to ask like, oh, whether, you know, whether they should, Vivek Ramaswamy should have
put an ad on TV. What are the issues in Ohio? What are the issues in Michigan and in Texas?
That's what I'm asking.
I want to know. That's how I want to judge my candidates. Donald Trump is actually acting on
the issues, but they're killing him in the press for every moment of time. And that's why you saw
him the other day, turning around to the CNN reporter and saying, you're a low IQ individual.
You work for CNN. And I think to ABC news, calling somebody stupid, he's losing his temper
with people who will not let him sell a vision that goes past the next 10 minutes. So I think,
look, it's, it's a bad setup for Republicans. In answer to your question,
it's a bad setup for Republicans on paper to begin with, right? It's, it's a midterm when
the Republicans have all three branches of government. So the people are going to be
dissatisfied. It is also true that, uh, president Trump ran on the economy. Stupid. He was going to
reverse. He's not going to reverse inflation, but he was going to increase wages. He's done that.
He's bringing back business and manufacturing into the country. All of his brags are actually true.
He actually brought in $19 trillion worth of investment,
a lot of, a lot of good wins, but he is, he is up against a media that has lost its power because
of him. And yes, it's because of you and me too, but we're the, we're kind of the foot soldiers.
He's the general in this war. He beat them, you know, to win back the presidency and he's fighting
them and they're fighting back. They're fighting back for their power and they're fighting back
to slander. When I was, but a lad George, uh, first George Bush ran against Bill Clinton after
a tremendously successful Reagan presidency that gave him a lot of power.
He gave us 25 years, 25 years of a boom economy from the Reagan revolution. In that, in the Bush
administration, there was a little blip where that 25 year boom went down a little bit, maybe like
5%. The report, the press covered it like it was the great depression. And that's what gave Bill
Clinton the presidency. And that's what ended the Reagan revolution. They threw Bush out and they
brought in Bill Clinton who actually kept the Reagan revolution going in many ways because he
had no principles. So he just followed it. They just followed what the people wanted. But, but still they basically took Bush out by
overplaying the economy. I read the wall street journal every morning and I read the New York
times every morning and a word of good news. And people don't understand that the wall street
journal has a conservative op-ed page, but it's news pages is left wing. A good word about the
economy would die of loneliness in these papers. And yet the economy is actually pretty good. You
Inflation is way down from where it was in Biden administration.
The core inflation is way down if you take out the gas prices, you know, which are a result of this war.
So I have to believe that Trump's inability to override the narrative of the media is a factor in what's happening.
We probably would have lost the House anyway.
The Republicans probably would have lost the House anyway.
But if this does turn into a blue wave, I think that the communication of what Trump is doing, what he's accomplished.
I saw people online yesterday saying Trump has accomplished nothing.
How many people are coming over the border?
Yeah, it's so insane.
That's like winning a war.
I know.
This is one of the big problems with the Trump administration, first Trump administration and the second Trump administration.
So many good things happened so quickly.
Yes.
That we, I mean, just shutting down the border, 3 million illegals stopped coming into the country.
On top of another, almost 3 million deportations, two and a half of which were illegal aliens.
Half a million of which were illegal aliens who just got out anyway, which is fine by me.
So just that alone, absolutely shocking.
On top of stopping all the really radical DEI, woke policies, you know, down to castrating little kids.
I mean, stuff that was so abhorrent for so many years, it disappeared overnight or largely disappeared overnight.
But then, you know, there is this question of like, OK, well, that's all gone.
Now I've readjusted to my new reality and I don't like this Iran war.
OK, maybe I'm going to sit home.
Or I'm going to vote for some effeminate terrorist in Michigan, which is deeply distressing.
I have to leave it there because, not because I'm short on time, not because we've gone way over the allotted segment,
but because I'm starting to feel a little envy again that you got the more recent book endorsement from the president.
And my book had words.
No, I don't feel envy about that.
Writing books with words is absolutely, I'm doing it right now.
It's absolutely brutal and painful and awful.
But it is true.
So, look, if you want a book without words, you can go get the book that President Trump endorsed in 2017, Reasons to Vote for Democrats.
If you want one with words, Drew, where can they get it?
You can get it anywhere.
Get it on Amazon.
You can get it at the Daily Wire shop.
I'm signing books.
I'll be signing books on an all-access so you can get signed books from the Daily Wire shop.
But you can get them in bookstores.
I was just at a Barnes & Noble's in Nashville yesterday.
A big crowd showed up.
It was just terrific.
And I'll be going next week.
I'm going to.
I'm going to Phoenix, outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale, to one of the great mystery bookstores in the country, Poison Pen.
And then I'm going to Intrabang in Dallas toward the end.
So you can get it in bookstores or on Amazon.
And the wonderful thing about Amazon, not to take away from our own shop because that's also wonderful,
but the thing about Amazon is those books count toward the bestseller list.
And at least one of the Cameron Winter mysteries sold well enough to make the Times bestseller list.
And I'm absolutely certain they kept it off because I kept.
I keep insulting them as they deserve.
So I'd love to just stuff this down their throats.
Yeah.
Yeah, that would be good.
Not that I'm vindictive, but it would be nice.
No, yeah.
No, I know.
And look, these things don't matter.
I mean, even though Speechless outsold the number one New York Times bestseller that week by 40 percent and it didn't make it anywhere on the list.
No, I don't even remember these things.
You know, it's like they don't matter.
But you can always go do it.
Try to try to help make the list.
Interbang, by the way.
Also, the alternative name for the Lindsey Graham doc that Cenk Uygur dropped.
So don't watch that.
Do get the book.
Find me nowhere.
Drew.
Excellent to see you.
It's great to see you, pal.
Good to see you.

Okay, very quickly before we get into the mailbag.
Ilhan Omar is not her real name.
This is a new report that's come out.
Her real name is apparently Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi.
This is according to Fox News Digital, getting reports out of the federal government.
President Trump himself just mentioned this at a rally last night.
It was just recently.
It was revealed just a little while ago that Ilhan Omar, not a person I've ever been particularly fond of.
of, that her name is not Ilhan Omar, the one that she used to get elected and sworn into
Congress.
In other words, she used the name Ilhan Omar, but rather it's an entirely different name.
Iran, Noor, Syed, Al-Mi, slightly different than Ilhan.
And I don't know if you heard this also.
Have you people heard this?
Have you heard this, Ashley?
And the last name is incredibly also the exact last name of her brother, Ahmed Noor Syed
Al-Mi, the person that they say she married and had children with.
Are you allowed to do that, Jeff?
Are you allowed to do that?
I don't think so.
Joni, I don't know.
You're an expert.
Are you allowed to do that, Joni?
When asked whether or not she married her brother.
Today.
They asked her, did you marry your brother?
She said, not to my knowledge.
That's one of the worst answers I think I've ever heard.
Okay.
So according to a former Minnesota federal immigration judge speaking to Fox, if proven
in court that Omar lived her entire life under an alias, that could be groundless.
And I think that's a very good point.
I think that's a very good point.
and that gets back to dispositions rather than ideology. That's true. That's true going back
to Caimon and Pericles in ancient Athens. But that's not really what I mean when I'm talking
about liberalism. I'm not just talking about the disposition to prefer change. I am talking about
an ideology that emerges in the Enlightenment, which then reaches its fuller form in modern
days through progressive liberalism. But there are other offshoots, libertarianism, what we now
would call classical liberalism, which actually doesn't bear much of a resemblance to the original
kind of liberalism, the original kind of liberalism, which is also bad. Then there are the
daughters of liberalism like socialism, communism, to some degree you would say fascism, all those
modern ideologies. The problem with liberalism as an ideology is that it misunderstands human
nature and our place in the world. Liberalism as an ideology, not just as a disposition, says
that man is fundamentally an individual rather than a member of society. It says that man
fundamentally is born with rights rather than obligations. It says that the purpose of politics
is to maximize individual autonomy rather than to preserve the common good. Those are just
fundamental differences. And so liberalism as an ideology just is wrong. It just gets things wrong
and you can see it go terrifically wrong in things like
human slaughter and abortion or the transgender ideology or what have you.
I agree that a society does need a balance of dispositions. It takes all types. We want
that kind of diversity. For me, I used to sing a drinking song in college called the Edmund Burke
song where we say, all change is bad. Progress is perverse. Call the wench something. Damn the
French. Sing another verse. Yes, I like old things. I like my old jacket and my old car.
And my, not my old wife. She's a young, beautiful wife, but we've been together for a very long time.
I like that stuff. I like things that have been around for a long time because they are mine.
Old buildings, old architecture, all this. And some people like new stuff. And those are
dispositions. But my invective against liberalism, which comes out every day, is really geared
mostly toward the ideology, which was wrong and ruined everything. Okay. So, so much more I want
to get to.
But it's fake headline Friday. Sorry. I blame Drew. Blame Drew for bragging about how he got
the presidential endorsement on his book. The rest of the show continues now. You don't want
