Ep. 2080 - Why Did Spider-Man Do This? Tobey Maguire Marries Off His Wife

The host of the show covers a range of politically charged topics, from the federal raid on Ilhan Omar’s home, which may stem from allegations of immigration fraud related to her birthdate, to broader cultural shifts like liberal students favoring Palestine over the U.S. and the growing political polarization around issues of identity and loyalty. The discussion highlights how Democrats are increasingly focused on targeting Trump rather than policy, leading to a potential wave of investigations and personal attacks on allies. Meanwhile, the host uses humor and critique to examine modern societal trends, such as celebrities officiating weddings of ex-spouses, which he views as a dangerous sign of declining moral and familial stability. The show also promotes affiliate services like Kalshi for political prediction markets, Pure Talk for unlimited phone plans, and Ave Maria Funds for values-aligned investing. Underlying all content is a consistent critique of liberal ideology, education, and political rhetoric, arguing that these trends reflect a deeper societal failure to uphold traditional values, especially in marriage and civic responsibility. The tone remains combative and skeptical, positioning the host as a defender of American norms against what he sees as progressive overreach and moral erosion.

More details emerge in the federal raid of Democrat Congress lady Ilhan Omar's home and the reason for the raid is actually pretty juicy. We will get into all the details, but for the first time in this whole saga, I am beginning to think that there is a semi-realistic chance that Ilhan Omar gets booted out of the country, then. Liberal undergrads officially have a higher opinion of Palestine than the United States, and President Trump comments on Ohio Republicans, Senate nominee John Hustead's hot bod. I'm Michael Noles, it's the Michael Noles show. Welcome back to the show. I don't know if we're gonna have time to get to it, but if we do, I Toby McGuire, Spider-Man, he just officiated the wedding of his wife to another man, and it's causing a lot of confusion for people. But really, this is par for the course in the way that we think about marriage today. So we'll get into all the problems. First, I want to tell you about pure talk. There's a lot more to say. First, they'll go to puretalk.com/noles, candidate of ULS. Last year, pure talk ran their best promotion in company history. It was so good. They could only run it for a few weeks. Well, for very limited time, they're bringing it back. Unlimited data for life. Listen to this, unlimited talk, text, and unlimited data with a 30 gig hotspot for just $29.95 a month for life. Right now, you get it for $29.95. You were saving over 50 per cent every single month for life. That is on their crazy fast nationwide 5G network. This is crazy. This was the one. A lot of people don't want to switch from their old cell phone plans. Even if they get bad service, even if they're paying two, three times what they should be paying. Because they just, the creatures of habit, they get stuck in a rut. I remember when this plan came out last year, I told some family members, I said, "Guys, you have to get it. Pure talk is great. I've had my pure talk phone for six years. The service is phenomenal. You're never going to come anywhere close to that price. Make the switch today. All right. We may have broken the story. Among the podcasts, obviously the news broke from the news agencies, but we may have broken the story among the podcasts yesterday because Ilhan Omar's home was raided. The news came out about that just minutes before we went live. There wasn't a lot to report. We knew that DHS conducted a pre-don raid on the home of Somali Democrat Congress lady Ilhan Omar. We know that for a month or two now, there has been a federal investigation pertaining to immigration and Ilhan Omar. We know that for years there have been rumors that Ilhan Omar helped to commit immigration fraud for someone else, for her brother who became her husband, but it's all been rumors and innuendo and insinuations. Even the claims that Ilhan Omar committed immigration fraud have always been about someone else that she would have been an accessory to immigration fraud for her brother husband. And therefore, I never got my hopes up that Ilhan Omar was going to be deported. Would love for her to be deported. She giggles about al-Qaeda. She doesn't consider herself American. She's just awful, but I never got my hopes up. I never allowed myself to hope. Until now, the details are coming out. So what does Ilhan Omar say? She says, "I'm okay. Make no mistake. This is an attempt." Sorry. "I'm okay. Make no mistake. This is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement for 10 years. Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. Al-Qaeda." I added that part in. But she said that. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced. Okay. Okay. She's keeping a straight face. She's standing firm. This is political targeting. And you say, "All right, hold on. These rumors about Ilhan Omar have been going on for years, including when Trump was out of office. This was a raid that was signed off on by a judge. The judges are not exactly on Trump side, generally speaking. This has been a case that has been building from the DOJ for a long time. So I don't think you can just blame Trump for this. What's this about?" So while we all thought that the raid was about Ilhan Omar marrying her brother or helping some other guy commit immigration fraud, it seems that the case is actually about Ilhan Omar's immigration status. According to the reporting, which we're getting now from New York Post, Fox News, elsewhere, the most likely scenario, according to multiple people familiar with the investigation, is that immigration cops are looking into a long, floated rumor that Ilhan Omar is actually a year older than she says she is. So, okay, hold on. Wait, what? This is the first lot of people are hearing about this. The issue is that Ilhan Omar is a, I mean, a lady never tells, but why does it matter if she's a year older than she says she is? Because Ilhan Omar became a U.S. citizen at the age of 17. She became a U.S. citizen at the age of 17 through a program that allowed the minor children brought over by naturalized citizens to more easily gain U.S. citizenship. Had she been 18, she would not have been eligible for the program. So if Ilhan Omar is a year older than she says she is, all of a sudden her naturalization could have been illegitimate. But when you think it's too good to be true, it usually is. There is a statute of limitations on committing that kind of fraud. Apparently there's a 10-year statute of limitations. Ilhan Omar is older than 27 or 28. Therefore, it's not helpful, right? Well, except that if Ilhan Omar continued to use the fraudulent birth date on new documents, on passports, on drivers licenses, et cetera, the statute of limitations resets. So assuming that Ilhan Omar has put that fake birth date on any documents in the last 10 years, all of a sudden this could be a live issue. Again, a president Trump has responded to the investigation. Okay, so Trump comes out, he's asked about the Ilhan Omar rate, and he just gives general criticisms of Ilhan Omar. She's a terrible person, she's not really American, she doesn't consider herself American, but whatever, the investigation's into the DOJ. So he doesn't go into the details. I'm not convinced that the president Trump is all that involved in this. I mean, he is officially not involved at all. I'm not sure he's even all that briefed on the Ilhan Omar issue. Because this has been building for a long time. And if this were merely political reprisal, first of all, Trump has bigger enemies to take care of than Ilhan Omar, who is largely irrelevant. She gets a lot of publicity, but she's not really all that powerful. This really seems to have been built from the DOJ, from DHS, signed off on by a federal judge. If she lied about her birth date, they might have her dead derites. This is the first time in three years now. You know, I'm the realistic one. I'm the one, all the podcasters, all the influencers, they get all sorts of carried away. They get all excited. Taloriko's definitely in a loony bin, and the walls are closing in, and I always say,
down, hold down. If it sounds too good to be true, usually is. In this case, there is a chance that you could see Ilhan Omar booted out of Congress, denaturalized, and booted out of the country. It is, I'm not saying it's likely I'm saying it is possible. And just to get to Trump's criticism here, because he's not going into detail on the technicalities, forget about the technicalities. Let's say she didn't lie about her birthday. Listen to how Ilhan Omar speaks about her country. I'm going to have to translate for you because she's not speaking English. We must fix our roads. I am an American migrant in the US Congress, but I am a Somali girl, but I am a Somali girl with your lineage. She's obviously speaking to Somalis. I grew up with your language, your girl with your religion. And there was a young child taken from her country that misses her country and wishes to live there. And share with its people, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, taken from her country as if the US kidnapped her, as if the US went to Somalis and said, we really want all these Somalis. You're coming with us, like it's a slave ship or something. We didn't ask for the Somalis. The Somalis came. We very generously gave them a place to live and gave them mortgages and gave them welfare and allowed them to defraud us and all the rest. And still, Ilhan Omar says that she is Somali, not American. Ilhan Omar is in no meaningful sense American. So why on earth would we tolerate her being here? Add on to that that she may have actually violated the immigration law. And it just, it just throws into stark relief how perverse our immigration system is. You have a person here who we know with near certainty broke immigration law in the case of a brother husband. We know with that it's increasingly likely that she committed immigration fraud herself. We know she publicly disses the country. She says she doesn't identify as an American. Identifies as a foreigner wants to go live in a foreign country, but she likes the goodies that are here. So she wants to bring some of that large ass to her real constituency, Somalis. She is constantly attacking the foundations of our country. If we can't boot her out, we can't boot anybody out. It shows you the great obstacles that the immigration common sensors, you know, the immigration restrictions, people who want to restore some order to our, to our demos are facing makes you offer a little bit of grace, I think, to President Trump that he's only deported, you know, two and a half million people instead of, I don't know what, he's actually actually almost three million people have left the country since the beginning of the second term, but about two and a half of them are illegal aliens and you say, Oh, I want it to be three and a half. I want it to be four and a half. Do you realize what Trump is up against? Give you a grace here and give you a little hope when it comes to Ilhan Omar. Now we'll see what happens first. Are we going to deport Ilhan Omar or the Democrats going to retake the Senate? Right now, our friends over at Calci are not painting a great picture. We'll get to that in a second. Then we'll get to President Trump commenting on the Ohio Republican Senate nominee's super hot bod. First though, I want to tell you about Ave Maria Mitchell funds. Our pals over at CalShe say that the Democrats have a 59% chance of taking the US Senate. That is really, really bad. It seems now a fate of complete that the Democrats are going to take the US House. Now 59% chance with the Senate means you really have to get out there and vote voterally, perhaps vote often. Make sure that your vote counts because the Senate's in play for Republicans, it's not a lost cause, but it's in play, but the Senate's in play. That's brutal. So what's going to happen? Let's just say the Democrats take the House and the Senate. Let's not doom and gloom. Let's not black pill. Let's do everything we can. Let's raise money. Let's knock on doors. Let's go vote. But let's say it happens. We have to prepare. What are they going to do? They're going to do one thing. They're going to try to destroy Trump. That's what they're actually going to do. For better and for worse, for some people that's going to come as a relief. They're going to say, okay, they're not going to implement this policy or that policy or this or that. They're only going to focus on Trump. Well, that's better than them focusing on all these other policies that I care about. Okay. Some people are going to realize it's a bad thing for them to just try to destroy Trump because politics is an embodied practice. It involves teams and people. And Trump is the leader of it. And this gets me to a point that I was talking about this with the buddy the other night. He made an excellent observation. And it's it should really shape how we view 2026 and 2028. When the left says that Trump is polarizing, that is literally true. That is true in the most literal sense of polarizing. Polarizing, referring to like polarity, like magnets, you know, you get a bunch of little magnet feelings and then you introduce a magnet and all the magnets go to their respective sides. A lot has been said about how Trump has reshaped the Republican Party comes in in 2016. There were all these factions of the Republicans, the Tea Party and the Chamber of Commerce and the Neocons and the Bushes and the this and traditionalists, religious right. And Trump comes in and he just completely reshapes the party in his image. Less has been said about how Trump did the exact same thing to the Democrats. With the Democrats, when Trump entered, there were there were different factions. There were the identity politics Democrats. The increasingly woke Democrats. There were the economic progressive Democrats. There were the neolib Democrats. There were still a handful of the blue dog Democrats. Trump comes in and he just reshapes the whole thing. Now it is all just anti Trump. So Republican politics for the last 12 years has been defined not by policy, not by institutions, not, but it's been defined by whether or not you support Trump. That's what it's about. Is the Republican Party pro-Terif or anti-Terif? I don't know. It depends how Trump's feeling that day. Is the Republican Party pro for an intervention or anti for an intervention? It depends on how Trump's feeling that day. People can whining cry about that. I don't whining cry about that. That's just a descriptive matter. It's a fact about how politics works now. The Republican Party is defined by whether or not you support Trump. And so is the Democrat Party. All these different people, all the way up to including Bill Crystal. Bill Crystal, who is one of the intellectual leaders of the right for decades, is now a pink hat wearing Democrat, simply because he opposes Trump. Okay. So Trump is a truly polarizing figure, which means if Trump leaves the political arena, and I'm not convinced he will, I think he'll probably still exert a lot of influence on the GOP, which means he'll exert a lot of influence on the whole politics, which means it will still be about him. But if he were to remove himself to some degree after he leaves office, you're going to get chaos. You're going to get absolute total chaos. You're going to see old factions emerging. You're already starting to see that in the shadow of war for 2028. But what you are also going to get is this reaction to Trump. Everything is going to have to be about punishing Trump and everybody around him. If the Democrats bring us back to our first point on Caljee, if the Democrats retake the House and the Senate, you are certainly going to see movements to impeach him. What you're mostly going to see, though, is just endless investigations, endless subpoenas, endless investigations of all of Trump's associates, all of Trump's family, all of Trump's employees, all of Trump's employees, neighbors, all of Trump's employees, neighbors, third cousins that live in a different state. Anyone even remotely close to the blast radius of Trump and Trump is a very potent figure. You are going to see very personal attacks on them. It kind of was ever thus, because no matter what some of the squishier your Republicans and whatever the Democrats want to say, they say politics isn't just about Trump. It isn't about one man. It kind of is. It kind of is. He's our Napoleon, okay. And that's what it's about. That is what they are going to do. And the fallout from that is going to be brutal because if the Democrats simply had a policy agenda, at least you could counter that with rational arguments, but they don't. They are out for revenge. They are out for blood. Some of them tried to murder Trump and other Republicans along the way, and many of the other Democrats have encouraged that, have supported.
They were like literally out for blood in some cases. That's your next two years, two and a half years, if President Trump, if the Republicans in the House and the Senate lose their power, that's what you're looking at. And soon enough, they'll come for you. You don't need to believe me on this. The chief law enforcement officer in the state of New York, Latisha James, was just in a midterm election debate with her opponent, it's the debate for state attorney general. Latisha James accidentally let the cat out of the bag that facts in the law are not relevant to her and the Democrats policy agenda. >> Miss James should prediction markets be regulated by the state government or the federal government? >> Yes, we've sued too. >> That sounds like you mean the state, okay, it's coming to ready. >> That's a pending case, then it's an important one. I have to look at the facts in the law, when I'm a Attorney General in January 1, I'll do that. >> You don't have to look at the facts in the law or you have to do a study what they do. It is illegal in the state of New York. >> Well, there you go. You don't have to look at the facts in the law, gentlemen, you're Attorney General. >> You don't have to look at the facts in the law, Democrats 2026. That was a true Freudian slip. You know what, a Freudian slip is where you say one thing but mean your mother. That was a true Freudian slip from Latisha James. You don't have to look at the facts in the law. I'm suing. I'm going to, Latisha James, when she ran for AG the first time, she basically ran on that motto. She said, "Elect to me and I'll get Trump." The exact same point we were just talking about. Here she's talking about prediction markets and Cal she and what, in fact, part of the reason they don't like prediction markets is because a lot of conservative Republicans are involved in prediction markets. That's another issue. But she says, no, no, forget about that. I'm going to get Trump. Vote for me. I already know my criminal. I'll come up with the crime afterward. Don't worry. I've already got my verdict. I'm going to come up with the case before that. I'm going to come up with the reasoning before that. Same thing here. It is true with everything. I've got my answer. I'll fill in the blanks. I know that we need a lot of weird sex stuff. I'll fill in the blanks of the biological arguments for trans or LGBT or whatever. I'll fill that in beforehand. I know that we're going to kill babies. We have to kill babies for the liberal conception of women's freedom. I'll backfill the ethical and biological arguments afterward. I know that we're going to give amnesty to all the illegals. I'll backfill the arguments afterward. Forget about that. You don't need facts and the law, Democrats, 2026. That's what they're campaigning on. Get ready. Okay. So, let's look at the other side. Let's focus in on the midterms from the Republican angle. We will move from the facts and the law to something much more important, which is, of course, physique. President Trump goes viral yesterday, all the left-wing accounts posting this. He seems to be commenting on, complimenting the apparently hot body of the Republican nominee for Senate in Ohio. That means I like Ohio. We have to get Vivek, and we have to get John, let him get them in. And I think they will. I think they're going to be rich, but I'm standing over here. And I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body because I didn't know he was a great athlete. And I looked and I watched up and down and I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole. And then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He's got these, like, claws. And I got it. You are a great athlete, I didn't know. Watching Trump do this. This is like watching Michelangelo paint the ceiling, okay? And some of you might not even be aware that that is what you're watching. Even Trump do this, whatever this is, you are watching Babe Ruth call his shot, okay? You are watching Jordan and his prime. Why? What is he doing? People look at this, even conservatives, they look at this and say, this is weird. Why is he talking about a guy? What is he talking about? Anybody's hot body? A guy's hot body. The Senate nominee for the Republicans and what is he doing? One, he knows exactly what he's doing. I realize this when I saw, I have only been to one Trump rally. I've been around the president. I've been fortunate enough to be in rooms with the president on a number of occasions. I've been a huge admirer of his for 10 years, more than 10 years. I'm a New Yorker, so as a kid, you know, a Trump was on every newspaper and every tabloid. But I saw it at MSG, at the MSG rally, when he walked out on stage, I appreciated it for the first time, which is that Trump is Elvis. He knows how to work the audience with a precision that you see from Elvis and very few other people. He knows exactly the effect that his words will have. So he comes out here and he makes these comments that seem super gay. But nobody thinks that Trump is gay, right? The Democrats are trying to insinuate that now. It ties them in and not because they think that gay is a good thing and everything Trump does is bad, but they're kind of insinuating that these gay is an insult. But nobody thinks Trump's gay. Whatever you want to say about Trump, he probably ain't gay, right? This is a man who is most famous for being a little bit of a ladies man, billionaire playboy, supermodels on each arm. Nobody thinks that he's gay. So why is he making these comments? Well, in part, the way he's speaking here, it's kind of like baseball players going out and smacking each other on the behind, you know, after that seems kind of gay too, but it's not kind of like it's like a big macho guy. We're in a pink polo shirt for that matter, you know, something that is apparently effeminate on the outside is just containing the virility, the animal beast on the inside. What it really is here is having a little bit of fun. I don't know. You know, like baseball players doing that, no one thinks they're gay unless it's the Boston Red Sucks. Nobody thinks they're gay, right? It's having a little bit of fun. It's being a little weird. It's being a little unexpected. But what is the political point of this? The political point is, were you talking about John Hustead yesterday? No, were you talking about John Hustead two days ago or three days ago or ever in your life? No, you weren't. Are you talking about John Hustead now? Yeah, everybody is because that clip is going viral because it was so weird. And what are you saying about John Hustead? What are you thinking about him? Because Trump could have come out and he said, John Hustead has a very good economic agenda and he's going to vote to cut taxes and he is going to keep our country safe and he is a good upright family man and he is above. He goes out. He's basically doing an Al Pacino. Please pardon the slightly, but he's basically going out there like Pacino in the movie. He's got a burrito and you got your head all the way. He's going out there and calling your attention to this man who needs a lot of support because we could lose Ohio right now. That would be very, very bad because Ohio is a Republican state. And all you're thinking about him is John Hustead, he looks good. Trump couldn't get you to think about John Hustead if he didn't say something weird. And he couldn't get you to think about John Hustead in this way that is very visual. Trump is always very graphic, very visual. He kind of paints with his poetic diction, he did that with all the nicknames in 2016 onward. And all you're thinking is John Hustead, he's an athlete, he's strong. But instead of saying like John Hustead, strong for Ohio, strong for America, like some stupid political campaign, instead you're thinking like, wow, he's got really firm glutes, he's got really powerful hands. It's just so much more evocative. He gives the left crazy, it's kind of funny. We're in on the joke. Trump is doing, he's like saying the thing that's kind of gay, but we all know he's not gay. So we're like in on the joke, drives his enemies crazy. And what's the upshot of it? John Hustead's name ID goes up, the positive image of him goes up. There's a chance that we win Ohio, there's a chance we hold the Senate. Love it. Love it, man. That's. We're just watching political Michelangelo. Okay, speaking of weird sex stuff, I do have to get to Toby McGuire officiating the wedding of his wife to another man. First, I want to tell you about GOP votes. There's a lot more to say first, they're going to GOPvotes.org, the Democratic Socialists of America, one primary is across the country. Next, they're coming for Congress and they're coming for you. If they win the midterms, they will defund the police, reopen our border and force men into women's sports. You are the last line of defense and GOPvotes.org is your partner in the fight. Go to GOPvotes.org right now, make a plan to vote early. If you live in the critical Senate battleground states in May, Ohio or Iowa, early voting is already underway this week. Democrats are energized and the stakes have never been higher. We cannot afford to have people like AOC and her communist cronies running the show. That is why I need you to make a plan to vote early right now. Go to GOPvotes.org, find your polling location, vote early, stop the Socialist takeover of America, paid for by SLF PAC, not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee. The midterms are not just one national race, there are dozens of individual contests, each reacting to its own headlines and developments. In Maine, Trojax and ensues and Collins are competing in one of Calche's most actively traded Senate markets, track the race live in Calche's midterms hub and trade the outcome, you believe will happen. Check the contract is worth $1 at settlement, don't just watch the race, take your position on Calche, use code daily, D-A-I-L-Y to get up to $25 when you trade at $25. Toby McGuire is going viral for officiating the wedding of his wife to another man. This other man is the heir to a Nigerian billionaire. So, I guess all the kids will probably do well, get a decent inheritance. There are a lot of kids here. The wife and Toby McGuire got married decades ago, then she and McGuire separated. I think they met on the set of sea biscuit. They were married for a long time, had a couple of kids. She and McGuire separated 10 years ago. They filed for divorce six years ago. They got divorced last month. They got divorced last month, now Toby McGuire is officiating the wedding. Now, four months ago, so before the divorce was finalized, this woman gave birth to the new husband, Jeffrey Ogan Lezzi's daughter. But she of course has teenage kids with Toby McGuire, and everybody was at the wedding, and Toby McGuire was officiating. Oh man, everybody's making fun of Toby McGuire for this, and they're calling him a cock old, because he's like, it's not just that his wife is with another man. He's officiating the wedding, so he's okay. It's worse than that. There's no evidence that this woman cheated on Toby McGuire. There's no evidence that Toby McGuire opposes this wedding. There is precedent for celebrities doing this kind of thing. If George Harrison and Eric Clapton shared a wife, remember that one? She was George Harrison's wife, and Eric Clapton fell in love with her. George Harrison said, whatever you're going to have her, and then George Harrison showed up to the wedding. So stars are a little weird. The reason this has political import though, and the reason I suspect that Toby McGuire agreed to officiate that the wife asked him to officiate, that they say they're best friends, but now she's marrying this other guy, is because they think it seems nice. They think that this is the nice thing to do. When couples divorce, it's so often acrimonious, and that's really bad for the kids. And so this is the nice thing to do. This rests upon an even earlier error, which is this belief that has become popularized in recent decades, that it is better for kids if parents get divorced. An idea that no one ever held anywhere ever for all of human history until like 40 years ago. They said it is better for, previously, if mommy and daddy didn't like each other very much, they'd try to work through their problems, and they would at least stay together for the sake of the kids. But then in the wake of the sexual revolution, they said, no, no, they came up with this new idea. They said, it's actually what's really good for the kids is for mommy and daddy to be happy. And the way that mommy and daddy are going to be happy is by divorcing and dating other people. That'll make them happy. So there are two errors, there are one. It is not better for the kids for parents to pursue their own happiness over the stability and the good of the marriage, which exists for the procreation and education of children, and when it is dissolved, it blows up the whole world of the kids. That's the first error. The second error is the parents aren't even happy. They split up and they say they're going to be happier and they're not. They're practically speaking they're generally more miserable because, especially when you have kids, you can't actually end a marriage because you still have to talk to the person. You still have to arrange child visits. You still have to figure out holidays. You still have to deal with this person for the rest of your life. So it's not that you end the marriage. It's not that you're okay fine. I'm going to have some new problems, but I'm going to at least end this bad marriage. You just have a worse marriage and then maybe you have another marriage to somebody else. So anyway, all sorts of errors on top of that. But then you have this newer error, which is, you know what'll be really good. Okay. We divorced. It's bad. It's going to be a little tough for the kids. But you know what? We're going to be, my ex and I, we're going to be really, really good friends. We're going to support each other. We're going to go to each other's new weddings. Hey, I'll tell you what. Let's have my ex-husband officiate our wedding. Won't that be really nice, but it's not. It's worse. It's much, much worse than even an acrobonious divorce. Because it, it creates the sin of scandal or it exemplifies the sin of scandal. Scandal is an obstacle. It's the sort of thing that causes one to stumble, to lose one's faith, to lose one's understanding of the world. And then what is the lesson that a kid is supposed to take from this? Whether we're talking about these people's kids or other people's kids. What is the lesson that we're supposed to take? The lesson we're supposed to take is that marriage is not permanent. The lesson we're supposed to take is that the individual autonomy of individuals, trumps any responsibility they may have, including the responsibility to their kids. It makes it much more likely that people are going, that the kids are going to get divorced later on down the road. This is born out statistically, but it makes it more likely, even just out of common sense, because you have an understanding of marriage, which is no longer permanent, which is no longer monogamous, which is no longer anything even resembling marriage. So I'm not going to beat up on Toby McGuire, I think it's going to mean, or even this wife or the billionaire or any of these people. This is the natural outgrowth of our radical misunderstanding of marriage today. I mean, in a world where Anthony Kennedy can say that marriage isn't even limited to a man and a woman, that marriage is just a drive from the right to intimacy that is written in visible ink in the Constitution and the two fellas or two ladies or three guys in a billy goat can get married in that world, whatever Toby McGuire is doing here is relatively normal. You know, at least the multiple marriages involved one man and one woman, but this is the fruit of misunderstanding marriage and of trying to change the reality of marriage. This is the inevitable fruit of that and began long before so-called gay marriage and it began many, many decades ago. But does anyone think this is good? No. Everyone thinks this is shameful. I think this is wrong. Everyone thinks this is embarrassing. Everyone thinks this is bad for the kids and everybody else. So are we going to have the courage to say, okay, if this is too far, if this is bad, if this is obviously wrong, how far do we have to unwind to get back to something good and right and normal? Because we don't just have to unwind to husbands don't officiate the marriage of your wife to another man. We're going to have to unwind a little further than that. We're going to definitely have to unwind back to the time when we realized marriage is the union of a man and a woman. We're going to have to get to marriage is the union of a man and a woman ordered toward procreation and the education of children. We're going to have to unwind a little earlier than that, I think, though. To marriage is the union of one man and one woman ordered toward the procreation and education of children for life, which is what marriage was understood to be. Certainly in our civilization, but basically everywhere in the world, forever, until we screwed it all on. Okay. Okay, beyond that scandal, I want to get to other perverse behaviors on campus, speaking of children, because liberal college students across the country now have a more favorable view of Palestine than they do of the United States. My favorite comment yesterday is from Daniel Weist Eight, who says, "Taloriko spent 10 days talking to his constituents." Very well written comment. It's got a little subtlety to it. It was a little dryness. Daniel Weist Eight, who says, "Taloriko just spent 10 days talking to his constituents." Yes. Make of that what you will. According to a new survey released by the Buckley Institute, my old stomping grounds, this is the 2026 National Undergraduate Student Survey. Liberal students now have a higher favorable opinion of Palestine than they do of the United States. 59% of under, the good news is, 59% of liberal undergraduates have a favorable view of the United States. Actually thought it would be lower. I actually thought it would be lower, isn't that crazy? The vast majority of undergraduate students are liberal. And I thought most of them would
hate the United States. But no, it's only almost half of them. 59% say that they basically like the United States. 64% have a favorable view of Palestine, which is not a state, which is not a nation. It's a territory. It's a geographical area, disputed area, but that's considered more favorable than the US by American students. Okay. Conservatives, no surprise, have the highest favorable opinion of the US. 22% of undergrads say that America deserved 9/11. More than one in five. Say America deserved 9/11. A lot of them, 40% say that offensive speech should be subject to criminal prosecution. You know, on and on and on. Okay. I want to focus, though, on those two numbers. The Palestine favorability and the 22% who say America deserved 9/11. There are lots of different purposes to education. The chief purpose of liberal education is to help us make sense of our freedom. As I've said many times, and I'm in the minority of conservatives who say this, as most conservatives say, either don't go to college or if you do go to college, study something practical like business or, you know, become an electrician or something. And I don't think that's true. I think if you go to college, you should study something that is not all that practical. I think you should get a liberal education. In other words, you should be able to read dusty old books written by long dead authors and help make sense of your own freedom because that's the purpose. It's a liberal education is the freedom befitting a free man and benefiting a free man for that matter. Okay. And you can go go to trade school afterward. If you want to become a doctor or a lawyer or an electrician or anything, you can go do that afterward. But that's not the purpose of liberal education. That is basically impossible in the US today. But most schools that is almost impossible, most schools don't even pretend to offer that anymore. They're a handful of great institutions, places like Hillsdale, Ave Maria, a handful of others. I don't want to just pick favorites. But those are the two that have offered me on a rural degree. So I'll give them a little shout out. And they do, they do a very good job. But if you others do, you know, Francisco, Thomas Aquinas college, it's some of the older, you know, kind of more liberal schools. It's still possible. I think it's still possible to get that at Yale, maybe, but like five students a year get that. The best majority do not. Okay. So if you're not going to get that, the second purpose of education is to form good citizens. It's at least to inculcate a sense of civic responsibility and pride such that we are investing public resources in you and you are going to become a good citizen of the United States. It's obviously not doing that. 22% say the America deserves 9/11. So if it's, if we're not getting the liberal education, we're not getting the civic education. Okay. The very least are we getting a practical education or are we at least learning some useful skills so that people can go out and make money? No, we're not getting that either. You're not getting anything out of it. So at this point, it becomes a political priority. We have to defund these schools. We need to bring the weight of the state and the alumni and the trustees and whatever institutions we can to reform these schools. They're very, very perverse. They're doing the opposite of what they're supposed to do. Now the Palestine number, Palestine is Wakanda. If you didn't know that before, you should know that now. Palestine is not a real place. I mean, it's not a real state, like it's literally not a state, but I mean, the Palestine that the liberal activists talk about is not a real place. I am concerned about the legitimate rights of Palestinian Arabs. That's another kind of unpopular view. On the American right, you either have to essentially cheer on the indiscriminate destruction of the Palestinian people, or you have to put on the cafe and test the state of Israel and start marching for free Palestine. I don't agree with either of those. I am concerned about the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, but I recognize that the Palestinian people have not demonstrated any capacity for self-government, that it would probably not serve the interests of the United States, or the interests of the Palestinian people. Certainly not the interests of the state of Israel, if the Palestinians got more political autonomy, and that this is a problem that goes back a long time, not just 1400 years since the beginning of Islam, but the problem of this troublesome province has gone back many millennia at this point, okay? So I take that issue seriously. I'm not just dismissing the issue of Palestine. The students marching for free Palestine, they do not take that issue seriously. They don't know anything about Palestine. They don't care to know anything about Palestine. Palestine is Wakanda for them. Palestine is utopia for them. Palestine is just a symbol. It's a symbol of not America. It's the symbol of not colonialism. It's a symbol of not white. It's a symbol of not Christian. Even though Palestine, one of the earliest Christian communities, though the Christians have largely been run out of there, nevertheless, we have in the Holy Land, the Holy Sepulchre, so many of the important holy sites. There are still some Palestinian, some Christian communities within the Palestinian territory is obviously a bunch within the state of Israel. It doesn't matter. It's kind of like the point we were talking about with Trump. The Trump is polarizing, so it just everything becomes about Trump. The Republican Party is all about Trump, but the Democrat Party is all about Trump too. It's the same thing here. Palestine, and these kids been around in the 80s, they would be marching for South Africa. South Africa, which is worse off today than it was in the 1980s, as South Africa, which now has like open calls for genocide of the white people there. South Africa, whose political and economic situation has really plummeted over the last decade, two decades. South Africa was never about South Africa when you had the anti-apartheid protests. All the anti-apartheid protests were about was not America, not colonialism, not imperialism, not white people, not this, not that. So that's really what they're talking about here. It's concerning, but the 22% say America deserve 9/11 and 64% have a more favorable view of Palestine. Those are basically the same numbers. It's reflecting the same underlying fact, which is not about any particular place or other. It's about liberal students hating that which is their own, and it is because they hate themselves. And who knows, maybe some of them were scandalized by the improper ways that they were raised. Another story I really, really want to get to it, now I'm running late. The DOJ is going after, not just Ilhan Omar, but DOJ is going after the major news networks over anti-trust violations, because they cut coverage of the White House. Because President Trump kicked CNN out, it's a little bit of a convoluted story, but what it comes down to is a lot of conservatives who talk a big game. They talk a big, big game. They're the second coming of Charlemagne. A lot of those conservatives will clutch their pearls. They will flinch. They will blink at the slightest sign of pushback. So we'll get into that. I don't have time right now. We'll get to see who he Tuesday. We have to get to that.
