Okay. I want to take you back in time. Just very briefly, Don Lemon Show after CNN, Don Lemon, Total Waco, hosts Gavin Newsom on his show. Gavin Newsom takes shots at Republicans and starts bragging that he expanded Medicaid in his state. With they will say on Fox News is, why is Gavin Newsom out here in South Carolina has stayed in some jambles and he's not serving the people of South Carolina? Well, I mean, I mean, I mean, serving the people of California. Excuse me. I think they deserve more than a $7.25 minimum wage here. I think they deserve more than a governor refuses to expand Medicaid. We not only expand and Medicaid, but we have, we've only stayed in America providing universal care regardless of pre-existing conditionability to pay and your immigration status. I know how offensive that is to people and I get how controversial that is. We delivered that. Okay. So Newsom says we expanded Medicaid. We expanded all of our state government run healthcare systems to immigrants and specifically to illegal aliens. So to everybody, how has that worked out? New report gotta give a hat tip here to Chris Rufo over at City Journal, Chris Rufo and Madeline Rowley headline, how did this Nigerian chief make millions from Medicaid? An actual Nigerian chief. I'll just read you a little bit from the article. It's too good. You need to read the whole thing. Last December, chief Nathan Agbatui arrived in a motorcade outside the Grand Entrance of a newly built palace in Obetetti, Nigeria. A videographer shouted praises in Igbo calling him, quote, half man, half God and commending him for building a palace free of charge for the Obetetti community. Agbatui is hailed on social media as a philanthropist who's built roads and housing. He sponsors medical clinics. He's given food to the needy in Obetetti, and it turns out that this chief, this Nigerian chief, is the CEO of the California Home Health Agency. Now, that's kind of weird. He's a Nigerian chief, but he's the CEO of an American company. And not just any American company, he's the CEO of an American company that is funded by the US taxpayer. The California Home Health Agency supposedly provides in-home medical care and a range of specialty treatments. Now, starting way back in the olden days of 2018, the California Home Health Agency made less than $2 million from Medicaid. But after 2021, over the ensuing three years, the company raked in more than $34 million. That's a pretty big increase, I guess. His business was booming. So, they make all this money. They've got all sorts of properties in California, but also this guy's the chief in Nigeria. And he's building all this stuff in Nigeria. Among other things, he's building golden statues of himself in Nigeria, with all this wealth that he's made in California from his taxpayer-funded company. So, our friends over at City Journal decided to go check out the company. They drove, I'm reading straight from the article, drove to California Home Health Agency's location in a strip mall in Riverside. The blinds were shut tight as they knocked on the door. After a while, a woman answered, but the woman didn't invite them in. The woman didn't offer the many medical services. The woman just said they had to call chief Nathan Agobatui. Okay. So, the journalists, your Chris Rufo and Madeline Roli, they showed this woman who was at the California Health Cut, the totally legit health company, showed a picture of chief Ag Batui standing in front of the golden statues that he had erected of himself and his wife in Nigeria. And she said, yeah, that's him. That's Nathan Agobatui. That's the guy who supposedly the CEO of this company in California. So, what did they do? They drove to chief, not Mr. He's chief Agobatui's gigantic mansion, but the gates to the mansion were closed. That's very unfortunate. So, they called him. They asked if they could talk. Chief Agobatui brushed them off. He said he didn't have time. He's really busy. He's busy not running the healthcare company, which had the blinds closed. He's busy presumably erecting more golden statues of himself in Nigeria. But he said that he didn't do anything wrong. And he worked really, really hard. And this was definitely not fraud. Now, we know that Medicaid has been one of the most fertile grounds for fraud in the United States, specifically fraud from immigrants, the Somalis in Minnesota and in Ohio, Ohio, which is a Republican state and in California and elsewhere. There is, according to the city journal, an expert estimate that up to 40% of all spending on the California health program is lost to fraud. This is the cherry on top of the Sunday of this kind of corruption and fraud, because it's not just some Somalis running the leering center, not the learning center, it's the leering center. It's not just some people doing scammy kind of healthcare companies. It's a literal Nigerian prince. You know, in the old days, for some of you kids out there who weren't around in the early days of the internet, you'd get these emails and they would purportedly be from a Nigerian prince, and it wasn't really a Nigerian prince. It was just some scammer who was trying to get your credit card and bank information. In this case, it's actually a Nigerian prince. Our system is so rife with fraud, specifically in the Democrat states run by people like Gavin Newsom, who's bragging about opening up his healthcare system to all of these people, that the actual Nigerian princes are getting in on it too. This is an amazing, amazing issue. One, it shows you one of the perils of any rich empire. We are a really rich empire. We have prioritized shortcuts and little, little cheat codes to material prosperity over the underlying, important, structural, institutional things that make a great country. We have mortgaged the future of our own citizens and our own citizens' families and our own citizens' well-being to tick the GDP up a little bit and to open up our borders and have this global empire, and it's beginning to bite us. The empire strikes back, that's what we're beginning to see here. This is a really good issue, and as we look ahead to the midterms, we'll get to the RNC in just a second, the polling is horrific for Republicans right now, as we look ahead to the midterms, this is the kind of issue that Republicans really can run on. This is the kind of issue that denied the Democrats the popular vote in 2024 for the first time in 20 years. This is the kind of issue that really irritates ordinary people. A little bit on the left, certainly on the right and in the center. You have foreigners, very wealthy foreigners, coming in and stealing from you and your families and your kids. This is the kind of issue we can run. We can't really run on the Iran War. That's the tough issue. It's a wedge issue on the right. You're not going to win over any moderate or liberal votes that way. It's hard to run on that. You can't really run on, you can run on some aspects of the economy, but not all aspects of the economy, in part because of the downstream effects of the Iran War, in part because it's very difficult to totally turn around the horrific economy under Joe Biden. That's going to be a little tough thing to run on. You can't really run even against the federal government because the Republicans control the federal government now. We've only had a year and a half thus far, but nevertheless we're the party in power. That's why the party in power historically loses the midterms. There aren't that many issues we can run on. We can run on some of the social issues because the Democrats won't back down from castrating little kids, won't back down from radical LGBT ideology, won't back down from killing the babies, whether we're talking about in the womb or outside of the womb in the Lindsey Clancy case, won't back down from political violence as we now mark today. Today is the day, actually, the anniversary of Charlie Kirk's assassination. I'm going to be out in Utah later from a memorial event for him at the university where he was murdered. The Democrats, you can still hit them on the social policies. You can still hit them on some of that stuff. The other thing you can hit them on, the big winning issue is mass migration and the fraud that goes along with it. The top line takeaway is that right now of all of the competitive races, we got competitive Senate races in Maine, in Texas, and we have competitive races in Ohio. We have right now, Iowa, is the only competitive state that Trump won in which the GOP is currently leading, this according to decision desk HQ. If you look at Iowa in 2024, the presidential margin was R plus 13.3. Trump ran away with this in 2024. Right now, the Senate poll average is R plus 1.3. It's in order of magnitude lower. The Republicans are still leading only by a little bit, but we're leading by an order of magnitude less than we were previously. There's still a 41% chance the Democrats win in Iowa. How about Texas? You got that open Texas Senate seat. Trump won Texas, R plus 13.7 in 2024. Right now, the Democrat is leading, and we'll get to James Talleriko in Texas in just a second. Right now, there's a 53% chance that Democrats win in Texas. How about John Hustead, the Republican running in Ohio? Ohio was 11.2 plus for Republicans in 2024. Right now, Democrats leading its D plus 5.9, 54% chance Democrats win. And on down the list, this is really not good. This is really, really bad stuff. So there are two ways to read this, and you're going to see the spin doctors pulling it a couple of different ways. The chief way that you're going to see this being spun, and maybe it's fair. I don't know. I'm just telling you, these are the two ways to read this information. The main way that you're going to see people interpreting these charts is that Trump's lost his touch, Trump lost the base, Trump lost the mega coalition. They're upset about whatever, they're upset about the Iran War, they're upset about some industrial policy. They're in subset, whatever they're upset about, that Trump has lost his coalition and he's no longer popular, and that's why the Republicans are losing right now. I'm not really persuaded by that. I'm not really persuaded by that because the other interpretation of this is that Trump is basically the only popular Republican in the country. And the reason that I look, I like a lot of other Republicans, including Republicans who are running right now. I'm personal friends with a lot of these Republicans. I'm a Republican for a very long time. I basically came out of the womb with parted hair smoking a cigar. So I am not knocking the GOP contra to Trump. I'm just observing the phenomenon. Trump galvanizes voters. Trump inspires loyalty. People love him. He said in 2016, 2015, whenever he was, when he said that he could shoot somebody on fifth avenue and broad daylight and not lose a single one of his supporters, he was probably right. So the other way to read this, which I think is more historically in line with how the party that is in power fairs in the first midterm election, is that if Trump's not on the ballot, Republicans are going to drag. Now I think Trump knows this, which is part of the reason why Trump is holding a historic midterm Republican national convention. The old national convention's during presidential election years. We don't hold them in the midterms. Right now in Dallas, there's an RNC going on. I was scheduled to go to that RNC, but I'm going to be flying out for the event in Utah. So it's right around the same time. But Trump knows that, I think. So Trump understands that he needs to inject himself into this. Now there might be lingering discontent over some aspects of the economy, over housing prices, which are largely based on interest rates that the federal government doesn't really have any control over, because that's controlled by the federal reserve. In any case, on top of the Iran war, on top of all the rest of it. So Trump, I think, is doing his best. JD Vance is hitting the campaign trail really, really hard. I think the administration is going out there to try to make this into a national election. But these are really, really worrisome numbers. Now you could say, another glass half full read on this is that August is always the worst month in polling for Republicans in the midterm election, because it's still kind of silly season. You know, I'm not, I'm trying to call it like it is because the only way to fix a problem is to acknowledge the problem. On top of that, you are seeing Iran messing with us as much as they possibly can, and you're going to see that increase through the midterm elections. So for a while there, even as the Iran war has dragged on, one of the amazing accomplishments of the Trump administration, a lot of credit goes to the president, a lot of credit goes to the Treasury Secretary Scott Besson. They've managed to keep oil pretty low. Oil's been around, what? Brent crude's been about $75 barrel. Pretty good considering that 20% of the world's oil supply is theoretically choked off and were in a major war in the Middle East. That's pretty impressive. A lot of people, a lot of investors who were betting that oil was going to go through the roof, they've lost a lot of money because of how well the administration has managed the oil issue. Well, oil is now back above $100. A barrel president Trump was just asked about this yesterday on the tarmac. President, you've been saying for weeks that oil and gas prices are going to come down. Oil is now back above $100 a barrel. How do you explain this to Americans who are wondering, "What I think is going to come down?" Well, I think it's very easy to explain to America. All you have to do is say, "We let Iran have a nuclear weapon," and the answer is no. And they're doing very poorly. Their country is in shambles right now. They are, as you probably have seen, the numbers are 300 percent inflation. Their money is valueless and not paying their soldiers. They control the strait and lots of other things. So for a little while, I would say this shortly, but right after the election, because they'd like to have it that way, but right after the election, oil prices are going to be tumbling downward. They're going to be tumbling down and we'll get them down. I think for gasoline, we'll get them below $2 a gallon. But not until after the midterm. I think it's going to take a little bit longer than the midterm. Okay, really, really fascinating comment from President Trump. It seems like he's just saying, "Oh, things are going to get better soon, don't worry." It seems like it's a throwaway comment. I think there's a lot more meaning here, because he doesn't say, "Oh, don't worry, they're going to get better tomorrow." "Daw, don't worry." He's not just trying to massage the markets and manipulate the markets such that the price of oil comes down. What he's saying is, no, I think they're going to get better after the midterm. They're going to come tumbling down. Why? Why after the midterm? Well, because there are two dynamics at play here. One is, Iran is obviously going to do everything in its power to put the screws to Trump before the midterms. Guys, we're on September 10th right now. This is going to get a lot worse. Iran is going to play a lot more cards before the elections, because they have to. They have to. That is the only rational thing for them to do. They need to bring maximum pain to President Trump. The way to bring maximum pain to President Trump is to mess up his party's chance of keeping the House in the Senate, because if the Republicans lose the House, which they very likely will, then you're going to get zillions of investigations, subpoenas. You're going to get an attempt to impeach President Trump again. If Republicans lose the Senate, I don't think he would be convicted in an impeachment trial, but you never know for certain. If the Democrats control the Senate, there's really a chance that Trump gets convicted in the impeachment trial. They're going to do everything they can. In any case, regardless of what, even if the Democrats just take the House, it's going to really impede the rest of President Trump's agenda. That's what they're going to try to do. Now, what President Trump has to do in his interest is to try to downplay the importance of the Iran War up through the midterms, and he's got to try to massage all of the markets so they don't go totally crazy as Iran keeps pulling shenanigans. I have to imagine what's in President Trump's mind is that he's going to bring the hammer down on Iran after the midterms. When he comes out and says, I think they're going to come tumbling down very shortly after the midterms. I think what he's saying is I don't want to escalate the Iran War before the midterms because that will create too much chaos and disruption and too much insecurity for volatility before the election. But afterward is game on because I'm not going to have to face another election. Well, Trump personally will not have to face another election, but the Republicans are not going to have to face another real election for two years after that. So it's probably going to be game on. So that's the, that is the game that Trump and the Iranians are playing right now, but it's only going to get worse. It has to get worse before the midterms. And so the Republicans need to figure a way to pivot off of that that when the war started, it was pitched as a major issue, which is we need to stop Iran's nuclear program, which if you just ask that question, do we need to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon? The vast majority of GOP voters would say yes, best majority voters would say yes. So that's how it was pitched, but it was pitched procedurally as just a little digression. It's going to be a quick little thing. We'll get out of there pretty quickly and it won't have downstream effects. Now I worried before the war as the bombs were falling and continued to afterward that, you know, to quote Machiavelli, wars start at the will of any man, but they don't end at the will of any man. And so things can quickly spiral out of control and they're very difficult to manage and bring to a close. And that is what has happened. So it's in it's totally in the Republican interest to just downplay the significance of the Iran war, but you are seeing cascading effects, yes, in the economy, but even more importantly, in terms of perception. So what does this mean for all of us? There is and remains a right wing movement happening in the United States. I think the right still has a decent amount of energy to it. And you're seeing that writ large, you're seeing that in the United Kingdom, and you're seeing that throughout Europe. Big win for the right in, not America, not in the UK, in Germany. And this win for the right is being screamed about by all of the usual suspects as the rise of the far right, the Nazi elements in Europe. We'll see if that's true because there's some details in there that make it a little suspect. Then we'll get to Mr. Taylor Rico's Islamophilia first, though. The alternative for Deutschland. The alternative for Germany party has just won a major parliamentary election. So this is in the eastern state of Saxony, Anghalt, the far right, that's how it's always reported. The far right German AFD party, just won a major parliamentary election victory. They basically doubled their results from the last election. I think they won what, 44% or so of the votes there, almost had an outright majority in this legislative body in this German state. This is big news. The liberal Germans and the liberal Europeans are totally mourning. There's a German journalist, a journalist for the weekly paper, Jungafreiheit, who posted a picture, there's not a lot of independent verification, but posted a picture outside of Deutsche Bank's building of pride flags at half-mast. Where do you say, why are you flying pride flags at all outside of a bank? But second of all, why are you flying them at half-mast? Oh, because the far right party, just won. But there's a real irony here and it's a question that we have to grapple with when we consider whether or not alternative for Deutschland is really the far right return of the Nazi party. They're flying the gay pride flags at half-mast because AFD won. The head of AFD is a lesbian. I don't know if you follow international politics that closely, but you heard me correctly. The liberals in Europe are gnashing their teeth and rending their garments because the far right wing AFD party has won and this is the end of gay rights and the head of the far right party is a lesbian. Furthermore, she's not just a lesbian, even more shocking, she's a libertarian. And the libertarian, I'm not a libertarian. I like, I love my libertarian friends, the libertarians have played an important role in the American right, but libertarians are not far right. Libertarianism is a species of liberalism. It's the kind of liberalism that says that we need to just remain individuals and have nobody bother us. We need to maximize individual autonomy and keep all of our money and stopping bothered by people. The progressive form of liberalism says, same basic premise about human natures is, we're just individuals, forget about family, forget about all these other structures, all these unchosen loyalties and commitments that we have. We are individuals, politics is chiefly matter of protecting individual rights and growing individual autonomy, but rather than focusing that on keeping our money, we're going to focus that on doing a bunch of weird sex stuff. Let's have the left wing version of liberalism proceeds, unlike the right wing version of liberalism, which says, let me just keep all of my money. And then various forms of the left wing version of liberalism say, okay, we're broken down our individuals, we're not mediated by different institutions, such as the family, civic associations and all that. So now that we're all individuals, we're going to bundle ourselves up into a collective, which is where you get different status forms of ideology like fascism or communism, socialism, Nazism for that matter. So in any case, it's a hard sell that this is a death knell for homosexuals or whatever in Europe. When the far right party is run by a lesbian libertarian. Also though, we just have to stop calling the AFD the far right party. Libertarians are not far right, lesbians are certainly not far right. And however you want to. at it. The AFD is the right in Germany. It just is. Fringe parties don't win 44% of the votes. Okay. It just, that is the right. It would be like in America calling MAGA the far right. It can't, MAGA can't be the far right when it has been the right for a dozen years and when it won the popular vote, practically speaking in 2024. You can't, you wouldn't call that the far right. You would say that's the far right and the center right and the center and even like a little sliver of the left because they, they, they took the popular vote away from the Democrats. That's just is the right. That's where we are. And it's done very well. So there is still this bubbling discontent throughout the West, not just the US but the UK and continental Europe as well. But the discontent is really coming down to the sense that we're losing our national identity, we're losing our sovereignty, we're losing our traditions, we're losing in other words our way of life. That's why the immigration issue is so important here. That's why the social issues are so important here. There is a relation between those two things. The idea that some teacher is going to show your kid gay porn and kindergarten and the fact that a bunch of Muslims in Europe and other people, including Muslims in America are flooding into this country. They're related issues because they all come down to the sense of losing our identity, our community, and our way of life. This is why to tie it back to an issue we were talking about earlier in the week. This is why when the Trump administration comes out and says according to the New York Times, we're going to reform this welfare program to incentivize, uh, married, stay at home mothers. In addition to the program already incentivizing single parents and subsidizing corporate daycare, when when the Trump administration comes out and says there's an existing program that's going to just change the incentives of the already existing program. Not going to add a single penny to federal spending, but we're going to change the incentives a little bit to protect a more traditional way of life, to encourage a more traditional way of life. That is why I know that the ideologues, the libertarians, certain strains of neoconservative, I know that they start to freak out here and they say, no, this violates my understanding of 20th century libertarianism, which I've read condon to the American founding and whatever, you know, they get, they get really abstract in their ideology. That is not what is motivating people right now, nor should it. I don't think that's what conservatism is about. I don't think that's what the American project and the American revolution is about. I think that the idea that the American revolution was this largely ideological endeavor that conservatism is this ideological movement. I think that is a retconning. I think it's totally wrong. I think that is shown to be false by history and by the great thinkers in conservative philosophy. But regardless, that ain't motivating people. One of the big failings of the left, part of the reason they lost some of their mojo is because they got too abstract, they lost the common sense. This is a phenomenon that even the great leftist thinker Antonio Gromschi figured out. He said, you can't have a successful political revolution if you lose the common sense. You have to talk to people's real wants, their real desires. The left would say, who cares if it works in practice, does it work in theory? We cannot make the same mistake. We need to show to voters that we are going to make their real lives materially better. You can't separate the material from the spiritual. You can't separate the physical from the metaphysical. We need to reassure voters that we are going to protect their way of life and their communities and their traditions and their homes. That's something we can offer to voters that the left cannot because the left wants to destroy all of those things explicitly. That's something we can offer to voters. We're not going to sell them democracy in Iran. We're not going to sell them even grand strategy, American geopolitical grand strategy. It's important to do grand strategy, but you're not going to sell that to voters. You have to convince them that you are going to protect their way of life. I think the Trump administration has done a good job of helping out the American way of life. A whole lot of fronts closed the border, deported. What was it? Two million plus people. We've now got the foreign war and percentage of the population going in the opposite direction. We're prosecuting people for discriminating based on leftist racial theories. We're forcing hospitals that trans the kids to spend millions of dollars opening planks for detransitioners, shut down those projects. We're overturned in revenue. There's a lot of good stuff, but that's where the focus has to be. It cannot be unideology. It has to be on something tangible. That is what is motivating the right to throw out the entire West. Meanwhile, you have left-wing politicians here who are who are completely upending our way of life and who are in fact embracing Islam. This is the best, the silver lining for the Republicans looking at terrible poll numbers right now is that the Democrats are just doing such unpopular things. The Democrats that they the candidate quality is just so bad. James Talleriko doubling down on his Islamophilia in the lead-up to the midterms. I'm always so so thrilled when I get invited to the DeWalley Festival. I think I've gone two years in a row now and also have gotten a chance to speak at some of our local mosques. I find such wisdom and comfort and inspiration from faith traditions all over the world. I find that they're all kind of equal pathways to truth. That's how I think I always think of all of the world's faith traditions as like a circle with that divine mystery of the universe in the middle. And we all have different names for that mystery, whether it's God or Yahweh or Allah or Jesus, the great spirit, whatever you call it. This is all different pathways to the same kind of fun of reality. It's how I try to stay grounded and stay rooted. Whoa, I try to stay grounded by saying that all religions are exactly the same and nothing differences don't matter and it's all whatever man passed the bond. This is crazy because it almost sounds like something that if you squint can kind of make sense. James Talleriko has already said. He's learned more about his faith from Islam than he has from Christians. That was the big red flag. It was one of the big red flags. But here notice had he said that he has learned a lot from different faith traditions. That would be one thing. I would say that. I would say I spent time in Varanasi, India. I think it's the oldest continually inhabited city in the world. Super duper Hindu, like crazy wild spiritual stuff going on in Varanasi, very contrary to my religious views. And I have learned things about religion. I have learned things from that experience. I haven't converted into Hinduism, but that has that experience has actually taught me something. I've traveled around in Muslim countries. That has taught me something about religion. I can I can learn things from other faith traditions certainly. And I can appreciate different aspects actually. If he had said that all kinds of religions are in some ways a kind of a path to some aspects of divine truth, I could even probably get behind that. Yeah, I think that's true. I think there is I think there is certain truth to natural paganism. And there are certain truths that Islam kind of touches on. There's certainly plenty of truth that Judaism touches on. Judaism being closer to Christianity than say Islam, which is an offshoot of Christian heresy, but even Islam. And then let's go further. Let's go beyond the monotheistic views of religion, even Hinduism or something like that or Buddhism maybe. But you can start. Okay, I can learn. That's not what he said. He said all religions are in equal pathway to God. What? That is a complete repudiation of Christianity because Christianity says in the words of Christ, I am the way in the truth in life. No one gets to the father except through me. Christianity is an exclusive religion. It makes exclusive claims. You cannot simultaneously believe in Christianity and believe that all religions are in equal pathway to God. That is not possible. If you believe the latter, you do not believe the former. That is extreme stuff. It gets to, he says, you know, we have all these different names for God. Notice the one name he doesn't mention. Some we call him God or the great spirit or Nervana. What? Notice the one name he doesn't, he doesn't mention Jesus, but he's reputedly Christian. This is pretty dark man because it, it means it's not that he's running a campaign for everyone. It's not that he's running a campaign that embraces all religions. He's running a campaign that embraces all religions except Christianity. It's an anti-Christ campaign. There's no other way to put it. I don't think I'm being hyperbolic at all. I'm just hearing his own words. And let me give you, this is kind of a little bit of a doomer show today. I don't, maybe there will be some hope at the end. It gets even darker politically because that might be electrically viable and that totally nuts. Could you imagine 10, 15 years ago you told someone that a guy is going to run for Senate and Texas on God is non-binary on all religions are equal pathways to God on promoting abortion in the name of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Can you even imagine such a thing that that guy is going to be running for Senate and Texas and he's going to be winning. You could not have possibly imagined that. But there have been changes. Not just changes to ideology. There have been major demographic changes. in Texas. Why is this guy sucking up the Muslims? Because the number of Muslims in Texas is doubled. The percentage of Muslims in Texas has doubled in about 10 years. It shows no signs of slowing down. And by the way, the Muslims have kids, unlike the Westerners and many of the Christians. That's the issue. It's like, it's actually even scarier that he's got this sort of vile heresy that he's promoting. But it gets even scarier because you think that might be viable. If not this year, soon enough, if we don't get serious about deportations and closing off the border and assimilation and a sense of national identity and sovereignty, if we don't do that, that might be electrally viable. Can you imagine us, Salam alaikum, good grief. Now, speaking of the Muslims, it's not just people on the left who are apparently turning to Islam. It's right-wing figures too, including Milo Yanopoulos. Milo, who is one of the real stars of the internet right. And one of the big figures who came out of the early Trump era and the early MAGA era, Milo has since turned on Trump, and he says he hates the Trump administration. And then it turned out he was apparently an illegal alien in America because he's British, but he's an illegal alien in America. And so he got deported, recently got deported. He's back in the UK. He's not in the UK for five minutes before he starts posting quotes from the Quran and a picture of himself dressed like a Muslim in a mosque, to which I have to say when in Rome do as the Romans do. You know, he assimilated to that British culture very, very quickly. Piazikev, Iuzanzikev, we'll get to what is underneath the Milo Muslim turn. First though, my favorite comment yesterday is from the drummer's workshop, Norms Music. A great, you know, he always has some of the very best comments. We can't pick him every single day. He writes, it was nice that the women of the view served on the jury. Yes, is it better? Is it better that we could take the women who are on the view and take them off of television and put them on juries? Yeah, I don't know. Would that be better for the country? Well, it doesn't matter because it's all the same, now, I guess. Joy Bayhard deciding the fate of criminals and the establishment of justice. Milo appears to have gone Muslim. He posted this picture of himself wearing a skull cap, sunglasses, in a mosque sitting down, and it's the prophet, which then it's got some Muslim thing, maybe like peace be bottoms said. It's got some Arabic in the kind of, you know, sword script. It says, the best of you in the time of ignorance, Jahiliya are the best of you in Islam. If they gain understanding, this is apparently from Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim. Okay. I look, I hope Milo's not really becoming a Muslim and I know everybody's dunking on Milo now and he's taking a kind of weird political turn and he turned on Trump and all this stuff. However, it seems to me you've got to appreciate the Oscar Wildness of Milo's character. Even if you personally hate Milo, I don't know, some people get more of a kick out of Milo than others, but the man is this Oscar Wilde character. He lived this flamboyantly, ostentatiously, homosexual lifestyle, but then he seemed to have a religious conversion to Catholicism that a lot of people now are saying was not legitimate or is false or whatever, but I don't know. I had good reason to believe he was sincere about a lot of that. But in any case, then he gets deported and now he's taking all these pictures in a mosque. And I think, of course, Milo is one of the great internet stars. He just understands the new media very, very well, better than most people. And so if I'm viewing this as just the next season of the Milo show, it's pretty funny, man. I don't know. I hope it's spiritually very dangerous because if he's sincere in converting to Islam, that would be very bad. And we should pray for him and he should not do that. If he's just kind of trolling as he is want to do now and then it's really funny, though it is spiritually dangerous. You know, you don't want to be making too many jokes about God and the devil and angels and demons and stuff. You know, you don't want to, you don't want to play around with that stuff. But just as a pure entertainment thing, this guy gets deported like five seconds later, he's got a new character arc out that is pretty entertaining. It only further entrenches the, the oscar wildness of his character. So I hope all the best for Milo. I hope you know, it doesn't. Okay, we've had our fun. You know, let's not stray into false religion. But there is something funny about the turn. Okay. Also, before we go, Lindsey Clancy's lawyer. Lindsey Clancy's lawyer is, you want to talk about reality TV stars. This guy can't get enough of the air time. Lindsey Clancy's lawyer has just come out. He's still swinging. He asked President Trump for a pardon for Lindsey Clancy, which Trump can't give because Lindsey Clancy faces state charges, not federal charges. I hope the lawyer knows that now he's coming out. He's saying that the people who criticize Lindsey Clancy, the people who think that she should be found guilty for viciously murdering her three children, that actually it's the comments of those critics that are really evil. Does she talk about Korra and Dawson account? All the time. It's Dr. Zazal said she has bad days and she has worse days. What does she say about the kids? I want my babies. I want my babies constantly. Because that was not the Lindsey that is now living it amongst us. The woman who's living amongst us is the person who was the labor and delivery nurse for eight years that everybody loved. Neighbors, friends, cops, firefighters, teachers. Everybody loved her. She was an incredible person, amazing mother. And I know that I'll get all the trolls. She's an amazing mother and make all sorts of evil comments about the point is she was in is a wonderful person. The person that committed this atrocious act was as a result of post paradigm psychosis combined with the medications that she was provided. Some of you listening right now, you might be tempted to make those evil comments to suggest that Lindsey Clancy should face consequences for murdering her three kids. Those evil people. That's the real, you know, in the whole Lindsey Clancy saga, that's the real evil in all of it. Wouldn't you say the comments that you're making about how it's wrong to kill your kids? It's a norm bit. I don't know. It's a norm McDonald's bit. I can't, I'm not going to, I guess I'll do you know. Well, you know what I actually, I think the evil is actually it's not. I don't think that the most evil part is the comments on Twitter. I think it is the murdering your children. That would be, you can, he would have done it better, obviously, but that's yeah, I think this lawyer is good. I mean, it's, it's his job to do this. And what he is doing now is demonstrating, when he asks for the pardon, for instance, he's either demonstrating extreme ignorance, like disqualifying should be disbarred level ignorance of the law or more likely, I think. He's just being deceitful and he's trying to create a media firestorm and he's trying to gin up even more public sympathy from lunatic women to support lindsey, clansy and murdered her kids. But in all of this, we can dunk on Lindsey Clancy all day and hope for justice and dunk on the lawyer. But he said something very, very interesting that I think is widespread. Is widespread a spiritual confusion as what James Taylor Rico said, you know, all religions are equal paths to God, just it's not possible because contradictory claims cannot simultaneously be true. What he says there is the person who is sitting with us today is not the person who murdered her kids. It's a different person and therefore you can't hold this person today accountable for the terrible things that that other person who looks and sounds like Lindsey Clancy and is also named Lindsey Clancy did. But that's not how people work. That's not actually how people work. First of all, he claims that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. There's not really evidence of that. She was never diagnosed with postpartum depression. She wasn't on all of the drugs. The people say that she was on at the time. She clearly planned out the murders for a long time. She says she heard a voice. It was the only time she ever heard a voice. I'm just she's she methodically center husband out of the home. I don't buy it. I don't buy for a second. But furthermore, she is that person. You are the same person that you were when you committed your worst action that you ever did. I hope you didn't murder your kids. But whatever you we've all done really bad things. Whatever the worst you are that person. Now there is a truth of religion that comes to us specifically from Christianity, which is that you you are made into a new creation. The old man of sin dies and you are reborn in the baptismal waters and you become a new creation. That is true. That is a spiritual truth that pertains to your eternal salvation, wrought for you and one for you by Christ. That does not therefore negate the temporal consequences of your actions. It does not negate the physical reality of your body. It does not negate time and history. You don't just get off the hook for it. This is indeed, I mean in the ancient Christian practice of confession, you receive eternal forgiveness from God for your sins, from eternity into time. You are forgiven. But you still have to do penance and you still have, you receive graces, but you still have those inclinations to sin that you have to work out because nothing imperfect enters into heaven. It's that dual understanding. You can't just take one part of that out of context from the other. She did it. She really did kill her kids and and that's why we feel that she. deserves consequences, but we don't do it, you know, in a really colloquial way, we sometimes say, you know, we judge other people by their actions, but we judge ourselves by our intentions. We judge other people by their worst moments. We judge ourselves by our best aspirations for how we could behave, and all of that is at play. That's true. But this is a widespread spiritual confusion. The idea that I'm not the person who did the bad things, the idea that I'm not the same as my own body. Transgender ideology. It's not true. That's a false anthropology. And what he's doing is so insidious, because he's playing on these false spiritual intuitions that people have. These false spiritual ideologies, it's so manipulative. And it might get her off the hook. We'll find out. Okay. There's no matter on that chipper note, there's no member block today because I've got to fly to Utah.
