Ep. 1867 - How 'Neurodivergence' Became An Insanely Popular New Trend
43m 51s
The transcript critically examines the rise of "neurodivergence" as a politically and culturally pervasive term, arguing it is not a legitimate medical or scientific concept but rather a rebranded, vague euphemism used to pathologize normal human differences. Originating in online autistic forums, the term has been co-opted and expanded by left-wing activists and influencers to create performative identities—such as "ADHD" or "dissociative identity disorder"—with no clinical basis. These conditions are often used to justify personal or political positions, such as securing discounts on train travel or public service jobs, or as a status symbol at "reveal parties." The analysis highlights how this trend reflects deeper cultural decay, including government-sponsored absurdity (e.g., the renamed McKenzie River), the normalization of incoherent content (e.g., drag shows), and a systemic confusion between mental health and ideology. The speaker warns that such practices undermine real mental health, foster narcissism, and contribute to political extremism, ultimately portraying neurodivergence as a tool of self-justification rather than genuine inclusion. The piece critiques the left’s promotion of mental illness as identity, linking it to broader failures in education, governance, and public discourse, and calls for resistance against a political movement that merges mental health with ideology. Despite claims of inclusivity, the analysis reveals a pattern of incoherence, deception, and manipulation that erodes both public understanding and democratic accountability.

Again, that's 800-575-1753. Tax relief advocates, real solutions for real people. Well, it's election day, which means regardless of your politics, you're being bombarded with a lot of very negative, frankly depressing messages right now. If you're conservative, of course, you're told that the midterms are going to be a blowout, but even on the left where they're expecting a massive victory today, the mood still is not optimistic or uplifting in any way. And that makes sense because it's hard for anyone to be truly enthusiastic about anything the left is promoting when you get down to it. The whole ideology is about bringing the rest of civilization down to their level, not about creating anything new and inspiring. And the end result is that although I haven't checked any studies on this and in fact I'm simply just making it up on the spot, Americans are more depressed right now than they've been during any midterm election in the history of the country. And that fake but maybe mostly true statistic is troubling enough that I've decided to do something a little different today. Instead of talking about exit polls and making wild guesses about how the election is going to turn out because frankly I don't know and my election predictions have been remarkably consistent in how terrible they've been throughout my entire career. We're going to lighten the mood a little bit sort of. And specifically for reasons that may never become clear, we're not even going to talk about current events or anything with a news hook. That'd be too easy to make too much sense instead we're going to talk about a fictional made up term that's very fashionable lately and that term is neuro divergence in fact neuro divergence is a current event as it turns out and it's linked very closely to what we're watching unfold politically in our country and across the entire western world. It's more than just a trendy buzz word as we will see. So I think it's worth talking about in a case you're not familiar with neuro divergence what's happened is that the left has become so weird and erratic that they invented a new word to describe and it's catching on by one estimate neuro diversity. Now we can try to define neuro divergence for you but there's no way that we could match the eloquence brilliant practically charcelion definition provided by these neuro divergent Canadians talking to a public accident. And for audio podcast listeners, the person who's speaking in this clip appears to be dressed as maybe the villain from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show whose name is slightly whiplash by the way in case you aren't up on your 1960s cartoon lore and the host of the program appears to be kind of an oversized version of Jason Rants who you might have seen on Fox News. So these are some pretty relevant widely recognizable references were giving you today Jason Rants and slightly whiplash anyway here it is watch. In neuro divergence is a numerous amount of different types of disabilities. All of those are most of a majority of those are invisible ones. So you have your autism you have your ADHD people could have dyslexia so it falls under that obscure weird little space there so you have like so many different types of things is hard to list them on because there's so many out there. But it affects different the way that a person learns and the way they can remember things the way they read things it affects their language. So you got to feel a little bad for that woman you know she was apparently told that everyone would be wearing their Halloween costumes for the interview is so she got dressed up in her glitter shirt and her. Salvador dolly mustache only to arrive and find out that she was the only one participating. That's always embarrassing or maybe not because I think the person next door is a man dressed as a woman. But she's a woman dresses a man he's a man dresses a woman started to know what exactly is going on there and as for the substance of their discussion if I heard it correctly neuro divergence consists of quote a numerous amount of types of disabilities including autism ADHD dyslexia and that obscure weird little space there. It's actually hard to list all the various elements of neuro divergence were told because it's such an expansive category neuro divergence affects learning reading language is all under the the umbrella of neuro divergence so says snidely. Now according to a Canadian named John Connor and that is his real name I think. This footage is indeed authentic is not like a skit quote the post is a genuine episode of the community access TV show inclusive Y X E episode 12 produced and hosted by Skylar Klein for Rogers TV in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. This episode features the co-founders of the local all ages drag group wig doubt Y X E silver phoenix and hijinks discussing neuro divergence and inclusion in the local drag scene the person in the purple sequined shirt black wig and a drawn on mustache is one of the drag performers appearing as a guest. The show was funded by Rogers media who are mandated to run this type of nonsense by the Canadian government. Now I couldn't resist I went looking for more episodes of inclusive Y X E perhaps the only time my life that I deliberately sought out content that was created by the Canadian government. And I don't think I'll ever do it again but on this special occasion with this great new trend underway that sweeping the Anglo world I thought a deep dive would be appropriate and to get it. You know we need to talk to the real experts and really explore all the content they have to offer and I have to say after spending multiple minutes researching upwards of five even six minutes I believe that inclusive Y X E is probably probably the greatest public access TV show. In all of Saskatoon when rolling stone unveils its top 100 public access shows and so Saskatoon Saskatoon list it'll I'll be shocked and appalled if this program is not at least in the top three. And to prove that point I came across this episode of inclusive Y X E which was actually shot on location so there's apparently enough money the budget to leave the studio to some original reporting in the field and in this case the footage was shot on location. At an alleged church of some kind which was hosting an all ages drag show. And you already know that this church is not a real church first of all because it's hosting a drag show but second because it hasn't been burned down typically Canada likes to burn down its churches that's usually their approach unless the church isn't actually a church in which case it'll be safe so as you watch this. Keep in mind it's a demonstration of neuro divergence in action with people when people talk about neuro divergence this is what they're referring to watch. I'm on location at the Wigdelt all ages drag show at Grovenert Park United Church and with me I have missy divine how are you missy good thank you for having me this is honestly like I'm really happy to work with you guys again I was very excited when I got that DM from you. Since the parade so yeah for sure the pride parade was extremely fun and we're glad to have done coverage with Rajas TV on it. So for those viewers who don't know what exactly is drag drag it's sort of basically kind of a it's an kind of an art form that expresses I guess like gender. I guess gender expression whether it's yet male female or kind of somewhere in between it can be almost anything so. So you've been a performer with Wigdelt for a while what have you found really enjoyable and is there a lot of feedback positive or negative that you get from the audience. So yeah I've kind of found like I really enjoy doing it more so technically well also for the community and plus I can put all of like my talents into kind of one which is all my passions into one which is like make up and like performing and kind of fashion. So in case you didn't catch the definition from Ursula from the little mermaid there so she tells us that drag is quote sort of basically kind of an art form that expresses I guess gender like gender expression. You don't expect a Canadian LGBT activist to know very much or really anything about anything or to be able to offer coherent definitions of very many words or any but you would expect at the very least they could tell you what drag is if there's one subject they should be able to speak coherently about you would think it would be that if there's one question that won't stump this brain trust you would think it would be the question what is drag. And yet this drag performer is helpless to explain what it is. It's sort of basically kind of an expression that I've never seen before.
expresses gender expression, I guess. With that kind of circular logic and panicky equivocating, you'd think she was asked something really difficult, like what is a woman? But no, just what is drag? In any case, this is how indoctrination works in Canada. This is why the country is weak and embarrassing and passive, allowing itself to be conquered while they obsess over climate change and transgenderism and all the rest of it. It starts at a very young age. The Canadian government forces children of all ages to watch horrific grotesque displays like this. Where it looks like the drag performer is having some kind of medical episode. And the children are allowed to laugh at any point, you know, to pretend this is all totally normal. And they become adults and naturally, they're extremely confused and very easy to manipulate at that point. They've internalized this idea that freak shows like this are completely normal and then they elect these people to the government and insanity becomes the law of the land. So behold, for example, the neurodivergent lawmaker from Manitoba telling residents to let home invaders take whatever they want from their property, watch. - What happens when they go onto the property of someone who is living in fear because they have a politician who's telling them that they need to stand their ground and defend their property? It's fear mongering that leads to people making really bad decisions in moments where it matters most. Fear does really strange things to people. It makes you like, you can't think rashly in that moment, you're in flight or fight. Why would we want to put people in that position? Why would we want to give people this power? It's absurd. - Now it's easy to say, you know, if they want to steal, let them, but what if a right-wing burglar raided the homes of the many neurodivergent lawmakers in Canada and took their home-run therapy and their train sets? We all know what happened, they'd be calling for martial law. They throw them in a dungeon, in fact. And actually things are so bad in Canada and they're so terrified of giving anything a name or definition that their confusion is even reflected by their geographical features now. As a reporter with the National Post points out the Canadian government announced a few weeks ago that the McKenzie River is a Canadian heritage river. Now I don't know what that means, and I don't care. The point is that in making this announcement, they did not call the McKenzie River, the McKenzie River. Instead, they called it, officially, the Decho, Dejo, Cookpock, Nog, Wichunjik, Grand Riviera, Flue, McKenzie, McKenzie River. The slashes are between all those. That's evidently the official name of those rivers. It's official name is seven different names, less than any indigenous group be excluded. Now, you might think, you know, the argument, that you might make the argument that it kind of makes a certain kind of sense for a river to be gender fluid. You might also make the argument that I'm only wedging the story into the monologue simply to make that gender fluid pun that I just made, which was lame, but I did it. We can't go back now. And both of those arguments might be correct, but I do wanna show you this from the Parks Canada press release concerning the Decho/Dejo/Cookpock/Nog, Wichunjik/Gran Riviera/Fluevay, McKenzie/McKenzie River. It says, quote, "including its tributaries, the river expands over 4,200 kilometers in length. Its significance is reflected in its names and the indigenous languages and dialects that are spoken along its length." The English interpretation of each of these names, Decho/Dejo/Gran Riviera/Cookpock/Nog, Wichunjik/Fluevay, McKenzie, is simply big river. So to be clear, they've given the river seven names, but each name actually just means big river, which means that the official name of this river in Canada is big river/slash, big river/slash, big river/slash, big river/slash, big river/slash, big river/river. So if you're ever confused about the size of this particular river, well, hopefully that confusion has now been cleared up. It's a big river. They want you to know this is a big river. Although frankly, I think the river's a little full of itself. I looked it up on a map. After all this big river hype, I looked like, how big is this river? It's not that big, all things good. The Mississippi River is bigger, you know? So Canada couldn't even manage to have the biggest river in North America, which is pretty embarrassing. The internet seems incapable of discussing college normally. Every 18-year-old needs a four-year degree at any cost, or all higher education is a scam invented to sell sweatshirts. Both positions are lazy. The real question is whether a university offers an education worth the time and expense. And that's where Grand Canyon University stands apart from all the rest. GCU offers more than 100 online undergraduate degrees, giving students the flexibility to begin college or return and finish what they started without putting the rest of their lives on hold. GCU also works to make private higher education accessible. In addition to federal grants and aid, its online students received nearly $200 million in institutional scholarships in 2025. What I respect about GCU is that it combines practical career preparation with a free market system, a welcoming Christian worldview, and free and open discourse. Students are prepared for the workforce without being told to abandon their faith or stop thinking for themselves. That's a version of higher education that I am willing to defend. It's easy to say higher education is outdated and relevant, but at Grand Canyon University, they don't settle for the status quo. They shatter it. GCU's accredited MBA program is 100% online, and it's designed to shape leaders through servant leadership. GCU can help you take your passion and scale your business to serve your community. This is purpose-driven education. Take action, find your purpose, Grand Canyon University, visit gcu.edu. - President Trump secured the border, past historic tax cuts and ended woke ideology. But if the left wins the midterms, they'll undo all of his hard work. They tried impeaching it. - The president is impeached. - They tried putting him in prison. They tried everything, and they'll do it again. Don't let the radical left win. Make a plan. Find your poll and vote on election night. (dramatic music) - Anyway, so this lunacy brings us back to neurodivergent, which is supposed to be the topic at hand. And although you won't hear this on Canadian state media, the truth is that neurodivergent is the latest and a long train of euphemisms that started with retarded and became slow, and then became autistic, and then became mentally challenged, and then handicapped, and then handicapable, and then autistic again, and then finally landed on neurodivergent. So it's been a very long journey to this point. We had to run through several different cycles of inclusivity to arrive at neurodivergent. And with the arrival of this latest euphemism, the concept has become more expansive and less coherent and trendier than ever before. Nobody really wanted to be mentally handicapped. Back when we called it mentally handicapped, it really just applied to actually mentally handicapped people because nobody wanted to be mentally handicapped. But lots of people want to be neurodivergent. Every influencer on TikTok wants to be neurodivergent and claims to be. And by the way, if you break down the word neurodivergent, it comes with the prefix neuron from the Greek for nerve, and divergence, of course, which comes to the Latin verb diverge, which together means different than normal, which if you're paying attention at home, it applies to basically everyone. Everyone in some aspect of their thinking can be described as different from normal to some degree. No one has the same level of emotional regulation, attention span, memory, language ability, or anything else, as everyone else. So there's a fundamental problem here with how we're trying to divide people into normal and neurodivergent. The whole concept of neurodivergent rests on the assumption of some kind of normal baseline mental state, which the divergent are diverging from. But there is no normal baseline mental state. There isn't one single normal brain or normal way of thinking that we can use as our frame of reference. We can't say that anything is diverging, unless we know what it's diverging from. If you look into the history of where this word came from, it apparently originated as all good ideas do. With members of autistic self-advocacy communities that emerged online with many people got access to the internet. That's according to something called the National Autistic Society in the UK. The basic idea is that a bunch of autistic people discovered had a log on a message boards, and among themselves they determined that quote, "Autistic brains are wired differently from the mainstream on a fundamental level." And the epicenter of this brain trust was something called the in-LV mailing list and forum where this is short for independent living on the autistic spectrum, apparently. And before long, these autistic individuals decided to become more inclusive. And so this is from the National Autistic Society, quote, "A 1996 post in the In-Lev forum by Tony Langdon refers to neurological diversity of people. This may be the first expression of the concept. In a follow-up post, Langdon wrote a lot of this curing needs to be applied to society at large rather than to autistic people. A key idea in the neurodiversity paradigm. The journalist Harvey Bloom, who was a member of In-Lev, has often credited with popularizing the concept of neurodiversity and autistic community through two mass media articles. Autistics are communicating in cyberspace, published in the New York Times in 1997. And neurodiversity on the neurological underpinnings of Geekdom, published by the Atlantic in 1998. The sociologist Judy Singer was also a member of In-Lev in 1998. She wrote both her undergraduate thesis and later a chapter in the book of disability discourse on the topic of neurological diversity, citing many of the forum members and their contributions. So. So this is a concept that originated with a bunch of autists on the internet forums and then a sociologist decided to write it under graduate thesis about it, The New York Times Order and Article. Autistic people are communicating on the internet was the title of the article. They figured out how to communicate is what The New York Times reported back in the '90s. But anyway, the science is completely fraudulent in that it's non-existent, behind the concept of neurodivergence specifically. This is just a rebranding. It's a new class of victims that broadly applies to anyone willing to seize the title. From train enthusiasts to the socially awkward, to people suffering from entirely made up mental illnesses like ADHD, to traditional old-fashioned 1990-style retarded people, all of them get included in this neurodivergent label. This would be like if random people on 4chan got to invent a new diagnosis. You can imagine what would that would look like and probably lose your job if you set it out loud. But just for fun, I went and found that New York Times op-ed that they referenced. And here's part of it. This is how they're defining autism and neurodivergence. Quote, "As one man expressed it on an independent living forum, imagine you're surrounded by 10 people rapidly talking to you at the same time. You're a politician answering questions, for instance. This goes on for several hours. I'm sure you'd want to run into a small room and lock the door behind you. Well, this is how I feel when I'm talking to two people, or one person sometimes. Email, he concluded, is best for me." So he doesn't like talking a lot of people, he'd rather do it over email. And now we would say text. So by that definition, that's like everybody these days, first of all, nobody wants to talk. Everyone just wants to text. If you want to narrow it down a little bit, this is called being introverted. There's actually nothing wrong with it. It's normal. But if you combine introversion and narcissism, you get neurodivergence. And now we're at the point where these people are getting discounts based on their fake condition. This is the rail card website in the UK, which is apparently run by the train industry. And the website offers a third off of rail travel for so-called disabled passengers. And they clarify in their Frequently Asked Questions section that neurodivergence qualifies as a disability that will give you discount as long as it's long term, meaning it's lasted or likely to last at least 12 months. And all you need is to see a doctor and get them to sign a letter and you're good to go. Which to be fair, could take about two years in the UK, but still, you know. And this includes people with ADHD, by the way. So if you're one of the approximately 100% of humans who have ever lived on Earth, who can become distracted when confronted with distractions, then you are neurodivergent and disabled and eligible for discount. So that's good news for literally any human who, for some reason, would want to board a train in the UK. And there are similar deals for neurodivergent folks who want to save money on their groceries and utilities as well. We'll put one of those on the website, one of those websites on the screen. This is actually a great idea, if you think about it. Imagine being a citizen in the UK, you can't get a job. You don't have air conditioning, even though you're burning alive in your apartment. You can't afford to pay your electric bill, so you're not even using your dishwasher or washing machine, which are extravagant expenses appliances you really had to spring for. There are dirty dishes and clothes all over your apartment, or rather your flat. But what are you supposed to do in this scenario? Well, neurodivergence offers a way out. Or at the very least, it'll offer you a discount so you can pretend to be a little less bankrupt, I guess. And what's amazing about this whole trend is that even in the establishment, quote, unquote scientific community, which ordinarily aligns with the left-wing activists on every single issue, this really not anyone who takes the idea of neurodivergence seriously. This is from a University of Southampton covering a new research paper on the topic, quote, a new paper published in JAMA Psychiatry, reviewed 134 studies and found that the term neurodivergence is being used inconsistently in relation to over a dozen different clinical diagnoses across the different studies. These included neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, but also many other psychiatric diagnoses, like depression and anxiety and neurological disorders. One in five studies used the term without referring to any specific clinical diagnosis at all without defining it. Fifty studies aspirated spends to self-identify as neurodivergent or neurodiverse rather than using a formal clinical diagnosis, potentially adding further ambiguity. Fifty-six studies didn't provide a definition of the term, while in some cases studies use definitions which were inaccurate, especially for neurodivergence. So in other words, whenever there's any research being done on neurodivergence, they're making it up as they go along. They're not even attempting to be consistent about what the word means. And this is supposed to be the whole point of peer review and the scientific method and so on. But they just throw all that out the window because there's a clear incentive to make up fake mental illnesses and lend legitimacy to these illnesses whenever possible. This is a broader issue than just neurodivergence, of course, but it's especially noticeable with so-called disorders that fall under the umbrella of neurodivergence. Look at the rise of ADHD, for example, which even many experts, quote unquote, now admit as a fake disease. More than 20% of 14-year-old boys in this country are supposedly afflicted with ADHD, which naturally has led to a massive rise in prescriptions for drugs like ridle and an adderol, which are basically speed. The number was around 2% of the '90s, so it's an absurd increase. Many no attention to the fact that all this was happening, while this was happening, male teachers are basically being forced out of elementary schools, women took over and many of them had no idea how to enforce discipline, especially for boys. So we're left with medication. Also, if we're trying to explain the rise of distracted children, we certainly should not consider that as we see the proliferation of distracted children, we're also seeing the proliferation of distractions. Every child is surrounded constantly with glowing screens, so they carry little distraction boxes around in their pockets 24 hours a day. Could that be why they're also distracted? Could the distraction machine you've given your child be the reason why he's distracted? You're wondering why your son is distracted all the time? You gave him a contraption that exists to distract him. Could that be the reason? No, it'll be silly. He must be mentally diseased, better put him on drugs. What if you could delay your next two mortgage payments? Imagine putting those two payments in your pocket and finally getting a little breathing room ahead of the holidays. Both possible when you call American financing today, if you're feeling stretched by everyday expenses, groceries, gas, bills piling up, you're not alone. Most Americans are putting those expenses on credit cards and credit card rates are insane in the 20s or even 30s in some cases. American financing can show you how to use your home equity to pay off that debt. Their salary-based mortgage consultants are helping homeowners just like you restructure their loans and save money every month. They're no upfront fees to find out how much you could save if their customers are saving an average of $800 a month. It's like a $10,000 raise without having to change jobs to get it. We've all heard the radio ads about owing the IRS money. Well tax relief advocates is different. If you owe the IRS $5,000 or $500,000, TRA has a solution to resolve your tax problem. Don't lose hope. They have over 1,000 five-star Google reviews and an A+ with the better business bureau. Real tax relief programs are available that can give you a fresh start, so don't wait. Go to TRA.com. Again, that's 800-575-1753 tax relief advocates, real solutions for real people. Another explanation for what we're seeing is that in many corners of the left, it's a badge of honor to come down with some kind of fake diagnosis or identity that supposedly distinguishes you from everybody else. Much like the Trans Phenomenon five years ago, this grievance is in fact a status symbol among leftists who now celebrate neurodivergence reveal parties. This is a thing now. This is a real thing. This is footage from one of these reveal parties where, I guess the idea is it's like a bait, it's a gender reveal party, but it's like that, but you're, it's revealing what kind of mental illness you have, so this is what they do now. And the color of the cake indicates what the woman's diagnosis is, whether it's autism or ADHD, watch. Oh my gosh! What? What? What? What?
[Cheering] Yes, they're singing happy autism to you. This is why they make these diseases so hard to define, so vague that they could apply to anyone. The whole point is to enable unremarkable, despondent, desperate people to feel some semblance of uniqueness, to give them some illusion of having an interesting personality, and maybe some kind of future. And as mentioned, TikTok is full of neurodivergent influencers. Every brand of mental illness has its own set of influencers promoting it. The easier a neurodivergence is to fake, and the more performative it is, the more popular. Coincidentally, that's why Tourette Syndrome is very popular on TikTok. So is dissociative identity disorder or split personality disorder? And the thing with DID is that it is, of course, 100% totally fake. No one has ever had a split personality. That is completely fake. Psychiatrist made it up decades ago, and it has been debunked decisively and repeatedly since then. Pretty much every famous case of split personality has been revealed to be a total hoax and fraud. That hasn't stopped TikTokers from establishing DID as their brand and promoting it. So there's plenty of videos like this, but here's just one, for example. You have dissociative identity disorder, right? Yeah, I do. Why? So who am I talking to right now? You're talking to Luca. I'm the host of our system. What is it like? Well, I can't tell you what it's like for other systems. I can't even really tell you what it's like for other altars in my system. I can only really tell you what it's like for me. That makes sense. But then, you know, what is it like for you? I think the best analogy for me is a house. So think of a big house with lots and lots of rooms. And that represents our brain or our body. And in this house is a living room. And on the one end of this living room is a door on the opposite end is a TV with some controllers. And the TV basically represents the outside world. We can look outside through the eyes through this TV. And if you have the controller, you can control the body. And in the middle of the room is a couch. And I'm stuck in this room. And I'm stuck in the living room. I can't leave. And I usually spend my time either being the one in control. Or sometimes I sit on the couch and I can watch someone else be in control. And then sometimes I fall asleep and I have no idea what happens around. You know, it's, I've seen a number of these videos of these split personality TikTok people. And it's a shame. It's like, it's a, it's a tough break for them because, you know, they have multiple personalities. What you find is that they have multiple personalities and all of their personalities are boring and dumb. What kind of, that's, that's bad luck. I mean, it's one thing to have one boring dumb personality to have 20 of them in the same person. You got 20 personalities. None of them are interesting. What are the odds of that? So in influencer vocabulary, a person with DID has a host, which is the main character out of all their split personalities, the protagonist essentially. And then there are a bunch of side characters, like bit parts, supporting roles, played by various, you know, character actors. And they, you know, you got one split personality played by Danny DeVito or something. And those are the altars. And all of these identities live inside this one person's head. And the whole thing, all of the characters together is called the system. This, again, is, I can't stress enough, totally fake. I don't mean to imply that these people have no mental issues at all. They clearly do. Just looking at that person, you can see the mental problems leaping out of the screen. She is, I think it's a she, like a walking, talking DSM manual. But the real overarching mental issue she's suffering from is not so much a mental issue as a spiritual and moral one. She is intensely obsessively single-mindedly narcissistic. This is someone so absorbed in herself, so obsessed with the inner workings of her own shallow, uninteresting mind that she's invented this entire psychological stage play. And this is what explains most of the fake neurodivergent stuff. It's just narcissism. It's narcissism in slightly different forms, wearing different shades of neon hair dye, basically. Second look at this footage, which is once again out of Canada. Left-wing activists are now openly demanding government jobs because they can't find work with their fake degrees. You know, it used to be this kind of thing would happen under the table. I mean, it wouldn't be discussed in polite company. The government would hire these people and give them make-work jobs and they'd feel productive. But in Canada right now, the government is out of money and they're badly in debt and they're even more vulnerable than the US because of their currency is worthless. So, they've been having to conduct layoffs in the public sector. And as a result, this is what the leftist, the true believers, are reduced to, which is groveling watch. My name is Moika Collette and I'm a recent environmental studies grad. I've spent much of the last two years working on and leading the Youth Climate Corps campaign, pouring hundreds of hours into it. The YCC, as we envision it, would be a two-year federally funded training and employment program for those 35 and under. Empowering them to work on low carbon and climate mitigation and adaptation work. My friend, I'm considering a job that goes against our values, taking Chrome just to get by. All of this against a backdrop of a growing climate crisis. Growing, living downtown Ottawa, I've witnessed a massive storm on Canada Day and it's a devastation on my neighborhood. This summer, forest fires, smoke was so bad I couldn't even open my windows on really hot day. I've known the threat of climate change all my life and I'm ready to get work, to get to work addressing this crisis. But instead, the government continue to sideline young people like me. So far, Karni has not demonstrated to young people that he cares about us. Thank you. Hi, my name is Mila Pye. I'm a caretaker of Earth and a climate organizer. I felt called to protect the Earth since I saw a tornado rip through a place I love, showing me the devastating power of a natural disaster. I could not understand how we would knowingly cause disasters towards it. Yeah, okay, shut up. So this is the culture, if you can call it that, which produces historic sky high rates of documented mental illness, including neurodivergence. Desperate people will seek out any available opportunity to feel better about themselves or to find some explanation for their circumstances in life. You don't care if it's incoherent, they don't care if they have no principles. When people feel cornered and when they've been indoctrinated their entire lives, they'll believe anything, especially if it gives them an excuse for their behavior. This is a belief system that's been internalized at every level of left wing activism from the foot soldiers in Canada to the leaders of the Democrat Party in the United States. They have transcended reality. Now take a look at this post from the governor of Virginia, the former CIA operative Abigail Spanberger says, "I'm proud to have the most talented, hardest working cabinet in Virginia's history. They're also the most diverse cabinet Virginia's ever seen. Every single one of our cabinet secretaries were selected because they're the best of the best in their respective fields. They also bring an individual perspectives from across the Commonwealth, for Danville Hampton, Rhodes, Richmond, Nova, and more. I'm grateful to get to work with these incredibly dedicated, hard working and talented cabinet officials." More importantly, look at the picture. You've got the white female governor of Virginia, Abigail Spanberger, surrounded by seven people, the supposed to be the most diverse cabinet ever. Not a single white man there. There's one other white woman, plus three black men and three black women. Now we've always known that diverse just means no white men, but it's nice to have Spanberger come out and illustrate that point so explicitly. By this definition, six black people and two middle-aged white women is the most diverse cabinet ever seen in the state of Virginia. It's crazy about when your party is completely insane, it kind of works. I saw a post on X yesterday that explained the issue very well. It's from an account called coddled affluent professional. And it says, "mental illness and certain forms of politics are now indistinguishable." One of the many purposes of progressive ideologies to identify an external locus for confusion, disappointment, and psychological discomfort. The leftists are post-Marx's, as Paul Gottfried said, and so it's reasonable for all involved to understand this behavior as disordered as it may be, as an ideological coherent form of praxis. In other words, mental illness and left-wing politics have become one in the same. Instead of focusing solely on economic grievances, although those grievances are still an important part of their politics at some level, leftists have learned to externalize their mental problems, real and imagined. This is why it's natural for a politician like Spanberger to claim that diversity means no white men.
it's delusional, but so is our entire party at this point. And today we'll get a much better sense of how widespread this has become and how much it's corrupted our political system. But if we're going to defeat these people, which ultimately we must do, we have to understand what we're up against. You know, we're not competing against an ideology that's based on coherence or principles or anything like that. We are instead in a battle with the party of the neurodivergent, which means whatever they want it to mean. We're fighting a movement that's daring every American, but call them out on their insanity. The moment we lose our ability to do that, we become Canada, the worst possible fate. And that is their goal. They might get closer to achieving it today, but if we're going to truly help the so-called neurodivergent community, by which I mean everyone in the country, we can never let them win. Don't forget to vote today. We'll see you later tonight for election coverage on Daily Wire, where I'll be joined by all the other hosts breaking down the results. As they come in, see you then. Godspeed. They take me out of my bed, and they brought me here, and they tell me nothing. What have I done? Article 58, counter-revolutionary activity. That is all I know. They have to deal with so many enemies of the state, all of whom claim their innocence, who protest, who cry, there are no answers here, other than the ones they put in your mouth. Your break. Today is your opportunity to demonstrate your loyalty to the people. I would like to know why I'm here, of course. But you already know, don't you? Must leave in something greater than the party. You will remember your duty. I told you I know nothing. The ground like a fair all-man. You stink of failure. You want me to lie. Still a drunk. Damn you. They all break. Podcast Summary
Key Points:
The term "neurodivergent" is a rebranded, vague euphemism that has replaced older, more specific labels like "mentally handicapped" or "autistic," now applied broadly to anyone claiming a difference from societal norms.
The concept is scientifically unsupported, with research showing inconsistent definitions and no coherent baseline for what constitutes "normal" cognition, making it a flexible tool for self-identification rather than a medical diagnosis.
Neurodivergence is used performatively, especially on platforms like TikTok, where influencers promote fake or debunked conditions like ADHD, dissociative identity disorder, or Tourette’s to gain visibility and validation.
In Canada, government policies and institutions—such as train railcards and public service—grant discounts to those labeled as neurodivergent, often without clinical validation, enabling financial relief for people with no actual diagnosed condition.
Left-wing ideologies have blurred the line between mental illness and political identity, with activists and politicians using neurodivergence as a status symbol or excuse for poor performance, reflecting a broader trend of self-justification through manufactured diagnoses.
The promotion of neurodivergence is tied to a larger pattern of indoctrination, where children are exposed to bizarre or incoherent content (like drag shows or gendered displays), leading to confusion and a susceptibility to radical political ideologies.
The Canadian government’s renaming of the McKenzie River into seven fictional, linguistically fluid names—each meaning “big river”—exposes a systemic lack of coherence and a tendency to normalize absurdity in place names.
The speaker argues that the widespread adoption of neurodivergence reflects a deeper cultural collapse, where reality is abandoned in favor of performative identity, and true mental health or societal progress is sacrificed for ideological conformity.
Summary:
The transcript critically examines the rise of "neurodivergence" as a politically and culturally pervasive term, arguing it is not a legitimate medical or scientific concept but rather a rebranded, vague euphemism used to pathologize normal human differences. Originating in online autistic forums, the term has been co-opted and expanded by left-wing activists and influencers to create performative identities—such as "ADHD" or "dissociative identity disorder"—with no clinical basis. , drag shows), and a systemic confusion between mental health and ideology.
