Ep. 1841 - FBI Dumps BIZARRE New Details About Trump Assassination Attempt. What Else Are They Hiding?

The assassination attempt on Donald Trump at the Butler rally in July 2024 reveals deeply problematic inconsistencies in the official narrative. The Secret Service’s failure to secure a sloped rooftop, ignore drone threat warnings, and deploy trained counter-drone personnel—despite having been notified days in advance—raises serious questions about accountability and competence. Critical evidence, including a request for a drone operator on July 10, 2024, and the failure to respond, suggests possible internal complicity or negligence. Additional red flags include Thomas Crookes’s rare interactions at a gun range with an unknown individual, encrypted communications with extremist Willie Teppis, who openly promoted political assassinations and was linked to banned groups, and the absence of public disclosure regarding Crookes’s social media footprint or the identity of the person who paid for his cremation. The FBI has repeatedly withheld key information, including security camera footage and digital evidence, despite having access to it since 2024. Investigations by Congress have been obstructed, with officials citing ongoing trials or national security concerns—yet no trial exists for Crookes, who died shortly after the attack. These gaps strongly suggest a systemic cover-up. Trump has publicly accused the Biden administration and federal agencies of a conspiracy to conceal the truth, calling the lack of transparency a "Democrat plot" to eliminate him. As the one-year anniversary of the event approaches, growing evidence points to deliberate omissions, raising concerns that deeper political or foreign connections were involved. Without full disclosure, future threats to public officials may face the same fate—targeted, hidden, and systematically covered up. The U.S. government must release all available information to ensure accountability and prevent future tragedies.

from the moment that a 20 year old loner somehow managed to shoot Donald Trump in the head at a pivotal moment in the presidential campaign just before he's about to assume the GOP nomination and formally select his running mate. The official narrative has never made any sense whatsoever. There were only two options. The first option was that the secret service was so utterly incompetent and so unbelievably lackadaisical with its security measures that they somehow failed to secure a slightly sloped roof, just 150 yards away with the wrecked line of sight to the podium. They just never got around to it, even though they obviously noticed the rooftop during the walkthroughs before the rally. And not only that, the secret service didn't bother looking at the roof at any point during the rally, which is how Thomas Crookes was able to get into position without being detected as a significant threat. As one Butler police officer put it in a conversation captured on body cam, quote, I told them post effing guys over there. Why were we not on the roof? Now, if you take this version of events at face value, then you would agree that unironically, the secret service as an agency should have been disbanded immediately, replace them with a random Boy Scout troop if you need to. Give every kid a walkie-talkie and station them on the rooftops, and instantly, for a lot less money presumably, Donald Trump would have much better protection than he was receiving from his secret service detail. The Boy Scouts wouldn't have the cool earpieces or the suits, but in all likelihood, they'd be able to spot an assassin visibly running on the roof in plain view of everybody in the crowd. And we know this because the crowd did notice Thomas Crookes long before he opened fire. The secret service supposedly didn't. Now, the other option that's been on the table, of course, is that the secret service, for some reason, allowed Thomas Crookes to open fire. And if you start thinking that through, it starts to explain a lot of things. They would explain, for example, why the secret service couldn't detect Crookes' drone even though they had drone detection equipment that conveniently went down while Crookes' drone was in the air. This is one of the elements of the assassination attempt that's rarely discussed, but it should be discussed. The secret service actually had a counter drone system at the rally. But according to the Inspector General of DHS, it was, quote, "manned by a single under-trained operator who did not test the system prior to the morning of the event." When the system malfunctioned, the operator spent several hours attempting to resolve the issue during which time Thomas Crookes completed his almost nine-minute drone flight undetected. That's the part of the story you may have heard. What's less well-known is that three days before the rally, the secret service agent's assigned to Protect Trump sent an email to the secret service's Technical Security Division requesting an experienced drone operator. Now the email reads, quote, "Good afternoon. Canada Trump is expected to be exposed for the entirety of his remarks and will be vulnerable to drone threats. Trump's details requesting the Technical Security Division provide an operator for the day of the event." That was sent on Wednesday, July 10th at 10.23 a.m. And according to the Inspector General, quote, "we found no evidence that Technical Security Division members who received these requests responded to the email." So yes, you heard that correctly. They simply didn't respond to the email. Then there was a second request, which was actually denied by a member of the Technical Security Division, supposedly because the counter-drone operators were busy at the RNC, which was going to take place a couple days later. And when the Inspector General interviewed the leader of the Counter-Drone Program at the Technical Security Division, he said that he tries to cover all outdoor venues and said he would have probably done that trip in Butler, but he was never made aware of the request. Now none of these excuses make any sense. There's no reason to ignore the email from July 10th, obviously. There's also no reason to cite the RNC as an excuse since it was taking place two days later. You would think that if the priority was to protect Trump, who they assessed was vulnerable to drone attacks, they would have found a way to send the experienced anti-drone team, but they didn't do that. Apparently they didn't even tell the higher ups about it. Again, complicity makes sense of this, makes more sensually than the official narrative. Additionally, if the Secret Service was complicit, it would also potentially explain why the Secret Service managed to deploy highly trained counter-snipers for this rally when they hadn't used counter-snipers at any of Trump's previous rallies during the entire campaign. They couldn't send the anti-drone team, but they were able to send the counter-snipers. That could make sense theoretically on this version of events if they wanted to get rid of the assassin after the fact, so it couldn't talk. Now if the Secret Service was complicit, it would also help explain why the Secret Service Director claimed that the agency had suddenly become afraid of slightly sloped roofs, even though there are plenty of pictures of Secret Service agents being stationed on sloped roofs, including the counter-sniper team at this very rally. You can see the good slope, bad slope distinction there. It's kind of incredible to look at because the roof with the counter-snipers is actually more sloped than the one that Thomas Crookes was on. On top of that, when they were hosing down the roof after the shooting, FBI agents had no problem standing on it. But the Secret Service Director insisted, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that slightly sloped roofs are just too dangerous for Secret Service agents. This is now former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheedle. Should that roof have been secure period? That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there, that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building from inside. Yes, they secured the building from the inside, but apparently not. Because in practical terms, it means they didn't secure the building at all. They allowed the sniper to climb on top of a building full of cops, simply because a slightly sloped roof was too dangerous. That's not remotely coherent, but again, it all makes sense if someone inside the Secret Service wanted to allow Thomas Crookes to take the shot. And while we're at it, if the Secret Service deliberately allowed Crookes to get into position, it would also explain why they didn't have any meaningful radio contact with the local police who saw Crookes with a rifle on the rooftop early enough that Trump could have been removed from the stage. It would explain why Trump's detail included women who weren't tall enough to shield him from gunfire or draw their weapons properly. It would help explain why the Secret Service ignored local police that Crookes, who the police photographed, was roaming around the rally site with a rangefinder. And on and on and on. All this to say, the so-called conspiracy theory that the Secret Service were involved somehow or that they took orders from somebody in the Biden administration who wanted them to leave Trump exposed is a valid theory. It makes sense of the events that transpired, just this, it just does. It's a conspiracy theory that makes the massive security failures at Butler more comprehensible and more logical than the theory, the official narrative. And therefore, it's incumbent on our government, especially now that Donald Trump's administration has been in office for a long time to provide as much transparency as possible. They need to disclose all the information they have about the assassination attempt in Butler. And in particular, they need to answer every outstanding question about Thomas Crookes himself. And there are many questions along those lines. But instead, what's happening is that we're getting kind of drip fed, a small number of disclosures that taken together make it more likely that the assassination was the result of a wide-ranging conspiracy with NGO Biden's government. So we're going to go through all of the new revelations. We're also going to point out all the holes that remain in the official narrative, because no matter how much you've read about this case, odds are you're not aware of most of them. And that's by design. That's why they're dripping it out slowly, letting it all get kind of lost in the in the shuffle. Maybe the most important new information, which comes from a recent FBI document, is that on the afternoon before the assassination attempt, Crookes went to Clarence Sportsman's Club Rifle Range in Pennsylvania to fire two guns, his AR, and a quote older military style rifle. Crookes was specifically practicing a 100 yard shot. Now by itself, that's not unusual. Crookes became a member of the club in August of 2023, less than a year before the shooting. And he visited the range more than 40 times, spent a variety of holidays at the range, including Christmas Day, Valentine's Day, Halloween. And as far as everyone knew, he was doing all this alone. After all, it's usually pretty difficult to find someone to go shooting with you on every single major holiday. But according to the FBI's investigation on the day before the assassination attempt, camera footage at the range, quote, shows Crookes talking with another unknown club member on the range. This member was the only other person on the rifle range. Now what's so strange about this, is that by all accounts, Crookes was a loner. He didn't have any friends. He wasn't known to strike up conversations with strangers, his colleagues at a nursing home called him an odd young man and he rarely showed emotion or interacted with anyone else according to his father. So, who exactly was he talking with at the range? Was it a random stranger? Was it someone he knew or were they talking about? Now, it's clear the FBI thought this conversation at the gun range could be significant. So according to this document, the FBI retrieved two images of the unknown individual and images of the unknown individual's vehicle. But we have no idea what if anything the FBI found. The FBI isn't telling us whether or not they determined the identity of this individual or any involvement he might have or not have. That's a big problem because there's additional information to suggest that Crooks, despite being a creepy loner, had several other connections who were interested in helping him acquire firearms for some reason. On his sub-stack, Tom Elliott has been going through the FBI's latest document dump and he came across this piece of information, which the mainstream press is basically ignoring. And it turns out that on May 25th, 2024, a person of interest who resembles the shooter was at the Keystone Armory in Edinburgh, which is in Pennsylvania and was there for about an hour. And he was, quote, "a company by a white male believed to be around his mid-30s and another older white male with a gray beard." The Thomas Crooks look alike had booked a 5 p.m. class in Mars, Pennsylvania that same day and Mars is a short drive from Edinburgh. So it's very plausible. It's the same person. And again, if it is Crooks, that would be very interesting since he was a loner who by all accounts had no friends. So who might these people be? We have no idea. Once again, the FBI documents don't explain whether any follow-up investigation was conducted or what the FBI discovered. But there are other pieces of information that suggest that Crooks may have had some unusual contacts. And as you may remember, the oversight project, which is part of the Heritage Foundation, managed to acquire cell phone data from a device tied to Crooks' home. And according to that data, quote, "someone who regularly visited Crooks' home and work also visited a building in Washington, D.C. located in gallery place. This is the same vicinity of an FBI office on June 26, 2023." Now, first of all, we need to say something about how the oversight project acquired this data. Most people don't realize that you can do this, but it's actually very easy for a private individual organization to obtain detailed records about where your personal cell phone has been for a very long period of time up to several years, actually. And here's how it works. In the open market, you can purchase mobile ads data for specific geographical regions. And this mobile data is collected by corporations that create the apps that you use on your phone. And they sell this data to brokers for the purpose of selling ads. But it's also an easy way to track people. All you have to do is set the GPS coordinates for Thomas Cook's house, and you'll learn the device ID of every phone that regularly goes to that house. And then you can ask the data brokers where the device ID typically traps. In this case, according to the oversight project, the phone went from Cook's house to an area in Washington, DC that was close to an FBI field office. So keep this in mind when you're talking about mass surveillance and cameras and so on. The device that you have in your pocket is tracking you all the time in ways that you probably don't realize. Every so often you ask an employee at a store where to find something and instead of vaguely pointing toward an aisle somewhere, aisle 12 and disappearing, they actually walk you over and help you find it. It's a small thing, but you remember it because they went one step beyond what was required. And that kind of initiative is valuable in any business. You want people who recognize what needs to be done and take action without having to be chased down. And that same instinct matters when you're hiring. And at that price, you know, dropping it isn't an accident. It's a financial emergency and people will protect it immediately. They'll buy the case, the screen protector, the extended warranty, but the time they leave the store, the phone is better protected than the income that paid for it. That's a strange ordering of priorities, you know, if a phone can be replaced, the income your household depends on is considerably harder to replace, which is why life insurance matters. If you've been putting it off because the process seems complicated, policy genius is exactly the kind of place I'd want to start. Policy Genius is a free online marketplace where you can compare quotes from some of America's top insurers side by side. Their license team explains your options, answers your questions, handles the paperwork, and advocates for you throughout the process. With policy genius, you can find 20-year life insurance policy starting at just $276 year for a million dollars in coverage. Now, to be clear, there are reasons to be cautious about heritage reporting here. The location data didn't actually point specifically to an FBI field office that actually pointed to nearby restaurants, and the DC downtown area is relatively small, so there's a lot of other reasons why Thomas Crookes or a family member might have traveled to DC. We really don't know. But together with all these revelations about people Crookes was spending time with from gun ranges to ammo shops, it's time we got some clarity from the FBI. Who exactly are these people? Have you identified them? Why or why not? Now, according to these documents, there are other anonymous individuals connected to this case that we still know nothing about. This is from the New York Post, quote, "An anonymous donor paid for the cremation of President Trump's would-be assassin Thomas Crookes just days after the deadly Butler, Pennsylvania, rally shooting. Anonymous donor paid for cremation reads a note at the end of a summary of an interview with the gunman's father, Matthew, conducted with federal investigators. The addendum noted that Matthew was retired, and that his wife was on leave from work, suggesting the family couldn't come up with the money for Thomas for his funeral arrangements. Matthew explains in other parts of the federal records, viewed by the post that he was unemployed at the time of the shooting. Now, could this be innocuous? It could be maybe a family member paid for the cremation. But it's certainly strange, since Crookes was released for cremation in around 10 days, with bullet fragments still lodged inside his body before any independent congressional investigators could inspect the body. Clay Higgins, the congressman from Louisiana, reported that he attempted to inspect Crookes's body on August 5th, but by that point it was too late. No one told him Crookes would be cremated. The sheriff in the county corner had no idea, so given how this looks, we should learn the identity of the person who paid for this cremation, it's been two years. There's no reason to keep the information secret, so it should be released. And while we're at it, we need to know everything the FBI hasn't covered about the figure known as Willie Teppis. Now, this is an individual who was totally unknown to the public until a Tucker Carlson documentary reported on his identity. As it turns out, Teppis had communicated directly with Crookes on social media just before Crookes, Christopher's online footprint disappeared, and that's significant because in his online post, Teppis explicitly called for political assassinations in the United States, and he was so flagrant about it that other users called him a fed. This is from a documentary from Citizen Commission, which is an account on X that's done extraordinary amount of research into the assassination attempt in Butler. Watch. That Tucker Carlson's reporting raise that I really do think needs to be answered is who this Willie Teppis guy is, because as soon as the would be assassins switched over to hating Donald Trump, you have this Willie Teppis guy in the comments, urging him to use political violence, and then after that, suddenly, you don't hear anything from this assassin. You don't see any more online activity from this individual. It's really strange. Watch Teppis began with 3D weapons focused content in August of 2021. He posted a picture of this gun and says the police confiscated his previous prototype. By late 2022, he openly called for violence, saying, "All I want for Christmas is bloody revolution against the global elites," in response to a post about US politician Adam Schiff. He posted photos of himself, commenting that the higher-ups already have him on file. He also posted these videos alleged to be an Oslo Norway, and he identifies himself as the person at the front of the march. These marches strongly resemble activities, coordinated by the U.S. base group Patriot Front. In January of 2024, a user named Abu Ase Al-Ahan made an inarticulate threat against the U.S. referencing the killing of General Soleimani in 2020. In response to this, Teppis explicitly says, quote, "Assassinations on foreign soil are not just possible for the U.S. There are lots of U.S. officials that can be targeted. It does not really matter if they are further down the ladder. The point is that they live in fear." He uses language and encourages others to, quote, "take out the man at the top and calls for "killing tyrants" due to the constant and ongoing flow of his extreme post. Teppis continued to receive accusations of being a fed. In reference to another post about it, he said, quote, "There is a fed in every chat. Lucky for me that it is not illegal to advocate for bloody revolution in another country than my own." Perhaps most chillingly evolved. On October 5th, 2025, Teppis wrote, quote, "People who ask you to contact them when they just as easily could contact you are feds. This is how they avoid accusations of entrapment. Both American and Russian intelligence does this. I have chatted with the bolt." So Teppis is a strange figure who by his own mission has been in communication with American and Russian intelligence services. He develops a reputation for talking about political assassinations to the point that other people think he's a fed. He's tied to a fringe group called the Nordic Resistance Movement and in August 2020, Crooks tagged this guy in a post where he explicitly discusses the possibility of conducting assassinations. We'll put that up on the screen. Well, in my opinion, the only way to fight the gov ferment is with the terrorism style attacks, track down any important people, politicians, military leaders, etc., and try to assassinate them. That's Thomas Crooks speaking to Willie Teppis on YouTube using the username Tom Crooks. There are only two other documented communications from Crooks to Teppis, as reported by Miranda Devine. You could see those communications on the screen right now. These communications that the FBI claim didn't exist, they flat out deny that Crooks had ever spoken to Teppis and they were wrong. This is from a Fox News article dated November 2025. Reports of service question in Crooks' alleged relationship with Antifa-linked individual William Teppis, the FBI told Fox News that there has never been any direct communication between Crooks and Teppis. Crooks posted on YouTube. Teppis is a Norwegian Nordic Resistance member. He simply responded to content Crooks posted. According to Cash Tells said this, pointing to a comment Teppis made on a 2020 era video posted on the video sharing platform by Crooks. As for his online presence, Banjino said previous FBI leadership initially downplayed his digital footprint. The degree of his digital footprint was not messaged correctly at all by prior leadership Banjino said. So if you're following this, in the same interview where they attacked the Biden administration for lying about Crooks' online posts, we're getting false information about Crooks' online posts. He did indeed speak directly to Teppis. We have the screenshots. They're claiming that Teppis merely responded to Crooks and that it was a one-way interaction, but that's not true. Crooks spoke to Teppis directly. And they weren't talking about the weather. They were talking about murdering political figures in the United States. And more importantly, shortly after these interactions, Crooks goes totally dark, which would imply that if they carried on further conversations, which maybe they did, we don't know, they did so in a way that might be difficult to track. That's not far-fetched because in this latest FBI document dump, we learned that Crooks was using several encrypted email services. This is from Elliott's reporting again, quote, "An analyst reviewing Crooks' phone found it had repeatedly accessed mail fence described in the file as an encrypted email service hosted in Belgium between April 15th and July 8th, 2024, across what appears to be four separate account IDs. On July 15th, two days after the shooting, FBI counterterrorism sent formal foreign dissemination requests to two governments' names redacted, asking for any and all records on accounts found on the device." Representative Mike Walts later said the accounts traced the Belgium, New Zealand, and Germany. What those governments sent back, if anything, is not contained in the document dump. Now, hearing all this, you might conclude that, well, if Crooks was coordinating with Willie Teppis at all, there would have been no way for the US government to know about it. After all, these had just random people on the internet, even if it's true, as Teppis said, that it attracted the attention of some intelligence services. But the narrative gets a little more complicated when you look at the timeline concerning the Nordic Resistance Movement. This is from the Citizen Commission's documentary watch. Several other dates stand out when examining the timeline of the Nordic Resistance Movement. On August 5th, 2020, Crooks and Teppis reportedly interacted in a YouTube comment section. In April 2021, Representative Alisa Slotkin, a Democrat from Michigan and a former CIA analyst, sent letters to the State Department, FBI, and CIA, advocating for the Nordic Resistance Movement to be formally designated as a terrorist organization. In those letters, she explicitly names the NRM, despite it being a relatively small overseas organization with only a few hundred members. Then on June 14th, 2024, the US State Department officially designated the Nordic Resistance Movement as a specially designated global terrorist organization during proceedings at the United Nations. That designation was officially published into the Federal Register on July 9th, 2024. Just days later, President Trump survived the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. So the Nordic Resistance Movement, a tiny group consisting of a few hundred people at most, was suddenly attracting some very high-level attention from the US government. And that would suggest that, in all likelihood, the CIA and FBI were monitoring online communications from members of this group. Certainly, you'd think that the FBI would notice if a member of this group was openly talking about assassinating US officials and trying to recruit US citizens to participate in these assassinations. If not, our intelligence agencies are somehow worse than we could have possibly imagined. There's an extremely small number of people that we're talking about here. It's not like the Nordic Resistance Movement has a million members, so you'd imagine that they'd be relatively simple to track. The other possibility is that someone in the US government was aware of this grooming while it was taking place. Maybe Tepis was an informant working with US intelligence, and he was warning them about Crooks, or maybe someone in the US government was actively encouraging Tepis to murder Donald Trump. We really have no idea. I mean, all the possibilities are on the table, because again, no one in the government has told us anything about Tepis, one way or another. They could release a statement tomorrow confirming that they've never heard of this guy, never interviewed him, never even knew he existed until random people on the internet discovered Crooks' social media accounts. In that case, they'd have to explain how they missed it and a lot of heads should roll, but they haven't even done that. They haven't done anything. In fact, more accurately, they've apparently been lying to us about what they've known about Crooks' social media footprint. So let's look at the timeline of what the FBI has said. In July of 2024, right after the assassination, the FBI immediately gets into Crooks' phone, roughly 40 minutes after getting it to Quantico. They discover his online presence and his encrypted messaging apps, including emails with foreign service providers. According to Fox News, the FBI stated that the FBI examined, quote, "35 accounts linked to Crooks, including social media, bank, and other online accounts." The FBI has been able to access all the accounts, the official said. There's been reporting to inappropriately and incorrectly state that there was encryption. The FBI was not able to get into. That's not true. We've been able to get into every single account. So they had total access, but they claimed there was nothing of note, even as other investigators publicly disagreed. This is from New York Post, which actually has more detail in the FBI's latest document. Dump, quote, "Doug Hagman, whose team of six other investigators have been working in the case for months and have interviewed more than 100 people." So they also conducted extensive geofencing analysis of cell phones and tablets not belonging to Crooks that were found with him at his home at the rifle range where he took target practice at the rally and at Bethel Park High School where he graduated in 2022. We don't think he acted alone, Hagman told the Post. This took a lot of coordination. In my view, Crooks was handled by more than one individual, and he was used for this assassination attempt, and I wouldn't preclude the possibility that there were people at the rally itself helping him. Hagman said one of the electronic devices geolocated with Crooks at several different places at the time of the shooting is still pinging today at Bethel Park High School, FBI officials who served under President Joe Biden, access Crooks' phone, and his computer and his encrypted messaging apps in Belgium, New Zealand, and Germany were an current national security adviser Mike Waltz, a former GOP congressman. However, they've been very tight-lipped about what they found. So all this is known to the FBI as of July 2024. In February 2025, right after inauguration, Trump demands all available information about the assassination attempt. He told Miranda divine in a phone call that he wanted, quote, every bit of information about the two men who tried to murder him during the campaign, quote, I want to find out about the two assassins. Why did the one guy have six cell phones and why did the other guy have four in apps? No more holding back because of Biden. I'm entitled to know and they held it back long enough. A few months later in May 2025, Trump told Brett Baer that he has no new information and is relying on his appointees, including Pam Bondy and Cash Patel, although he suggested he didn't fully trust the answers that he was getting, watch. And I thought it was strange. You know, the one guy had 18 cell phones, okay. I have a lot of cell phones, but I have like two, you know, it's a, I go that a lot. And I think I probably make more clothes than him. It's like, that's all I do. And I had to, what is somebody of 18? Another one, the first one, one from Butler, he had three apps, very unusual apps, and two of them were foreign apps. And then he ends up with a white shoe lawyer, meaning a super lawyer from Pittsburgh, you know, the big city. And they live outside of Butler in a little place. When did they get this lawyer that would represent IBM and would represent Exxonmobile? Are you the president? I know. I know. I'm relying on my people to tell me what it is. You know, we have deep-seated craziness in this country. And I'm relying on my people. And so far they, and they're good. But so far they, and in this case, the Secret Service, they tell me it's fine. But it's a little hard to believe, to be honest with you, okay? It's a little bit hard to believe as I get that throbbing feeling. Yeah. Yeah. I get a little throbbing feeling. If you find out, we'd love to know we can tell you that. I know. And a lot of people ask us. It's a little bit, it's a little bit strange. We have incredible people in there now, so. Now two days after this interview, Cash Patel and Dan Bungino went on Fox News and with a similar message, there's nothing to report. Patel suggests there's an ongoing prosecution to worry about, even though Thomas Croak's dead. So, is there an accomplice on the loose? I mean, who will we prosecute? I didn't say, but it was strange, watch. How come we don't have more information on the assassination attempts on President Trump? There's two reasons, two open, ongoing prosecutions. So two of the investigations are obviously closed because the individuals are dead. But there's two live prosecutions. And so, we can't get ahead of the federal court case. A lot of that information will come out in the federal court cases. But we have personally invested our time in making sure that we have looked at all the any possible international connections to terrorism and adversaries alike. And we've both been down a quanico. We've both done the laboratory testing. We've both seen the explosive analysis. We've both seen the firearm and physically held it. We are all in on these investigations. Are we going to be surprised at what you learned? You know what, Maria? Cash is not kidding. We've been personally briefed extensively on every single detail nugget tendril of this case. One is actively in court right now. So, at respect for the case, it's probably more appropriate that I stay quiet on that. However, I'm not going to tell people what they want to hear. I'm going to tell you the truth. And whether you like it or not is up to you. If there was a big explosive there, there, right, given my history as a secret service agent and my personal friendship as a director does with the president, give me one logical sensible reason we would not have, if you can think of one, there isn't. There isn't, there in some of these cases that there you're looking for is not there. And I know people, I get it. I understand. It's not there. If it was there, we would have told you. Now, they may be right. It's quite possible. There's no grand conspiracy, but that's not really the point. The point is that there are clearly relevant pieces of information that are being withheld from the public, including the identity of the man Crooks was speaking with on the day before the shooting at the gun range. The reason the FBI claimed Crooks never spoke to Willie Teppis, the identity of the person who paid for Crooks' cremation, the identity of the people paying for Crooks' parents high profile attorneys, the people at Crooks was speaking with on those encrypted apps. The reason the body was released for cremation so quickly. And so on. These are all details that according to FBI's own statements, the FBI has information on, but they're not providing them to the public. Instead, as of May 2025, they were simply telling us to trust them and that nothing important was being withheld. Fast forward to July of 2025. Ron Johnson, the Center for Wisconsin, chairs the Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Sapina's cash retell saying the FBI has, quote, "repeatedly failed to produce to the subcommittee records and information critical to its investigation." According to Johnson, quote, "For example, following a briefing on March 21, 2025 by FBI Forensic Laboratory Personnel, the subcommittee requested copies of all the records, including photographs presented during the briefing. To date, the FBI has failed to produce to the subcommittee these records and photographs." Further on June 4, 2025, after issuing numerous requests to the Pennsylvania State Police, the committee, Sapina's PSP for records, related to the July 13, 2020 for assassination attempt. During a phone call with staff on July 1, 2025, PSP informed subcommittee and committee staff that PSP did not possess certain records responsive to the June 4, Sapina, such as security camera footage. According to PSP, the FBI possesses all security camera footage, obtained the connection to the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt for nearly a year. The subcommittee has attempted to obtain these records and other information, including the aforementioned security camera footage. However, to date, the FBI has failed to produce the requested records. But the Stonewall and continued in September of 2025. Gaspetel, again, claims this time under oath that there's some mysterious trial of someone that prevents the disclosure of more information about Thomas Crookes. This is from the Daily Mail. Quote, "FBI director, Gaspetel, give a curious answer when asked by a congressman to provide details about present Donald Trump's near assassin Thomas Matthew Crookes during a hearing of Capitol Hill on Wednesday, Republican Texas representative Wesley Hunt noted that it asked Patel's predecessor, Christopher Ray, a very detailed question about Thomas Matthew Crookes, the shooter responsible for the assassination attempt on President Trump's life. Hunt then added that he would like to resubmit the question asked if Patel would answer them. Patel responded that he could commit to providing response as soon as the trial was over. But there is no trial for Crookes as he died shortly after firing his shots at then-candidate Donald Trump." But multiple references to a trial and no one knows who's on trial. That's very strange. Then in December of 2025, Ron Johnson told Miranda Divine that the FBI still hasn't been providing any information and that he's relying on subpoenas to telecom companies instead. Watch. What is going on there and why did you have to subpoena? Cash Patel's FBI in July to get any information. It dawned on me and the older you get the faster time flies, right? Yeah. And all of a sudden, we're coming up on the one-year anniversary of the assassination attempt and he started realizing, "Well, we have gotten this information." Again, my assumption was, and it's always dangerous to assume, my assumption was, will President Trump take office? Yeah. He's obviously interested in this. He's going to make sure that his FBI director and people around him are going to get to the bottom of this. Yeah. I don't like duplicating effort. No. You know, if James Comer is doing something in the house, then let them do it. Yeah. Okay. I've got, I'm always describing myself as a mosquito in the news columnist in the Targaryen environment. So I got plenty of things to keep me busy. Yeah. Well, other people investigate this. Well, I've said and realized, I mean, here we are a year later, I haven't heard a pee part of this. We still know about, you know, what, what do his social media accounts say to me? Why have we unlocked this information? Why does America know more about it? Because again, there's some odd things about it. Yeah. You know, him appearing in commercials for, it was a black rock and, you know, just like the other, you know, potential assassin down in Palm Beach, like, I mean, it's just bizarre stuff. Yeah. I mean, explain this to us. So, to practice guns at the, the range that hundreds of federal officials were at. Yeah. So there's information we want to get from, you know, but why did you have to subpoena the FBI? What cash betel doesn't seem like he's really on top of things or has he been captured by the deep state? I think views, again, my subpoena is to this administration, our family subpoena is just kind of prompt action, part of the problem, highly sympathetic with this, whether it's Bobby Kennedy and HHS or Pam Bondi or cash betel, I mean, it is a deep state. It's a pervasive deep state is a really deep, deep state, okay? And it's populated primarily by partisan leftists. So if you got anything on crooks, no, we are hoping, we're hoping the telecommunication companies. You know, work. with us. But no, we haven't really uncovered things. Right. So why is that? I mean, there are so many theories about Thomas Crookes, 20 years old. You know, did he act alone? I can't answer that question. Right. It's shocking that you can't answer that question. I'm sorry. No, but I mean, it's shocking that we don't know. I mean, 18 months later. No, I mean, very early on. And I think this was a news outlet. It might have been New York post. I mean, did a geo positioning search on Crookes's phone and like, kind of like that family circus deals, you know, all over the place, you know, the FBI headquarters is like, yes. What's pulling off here? Now somewhere in this timeline, while Congress was getting stone walled by the FBI, an anonymous source got Crookes's phone number from FOIA request and was able to hack into Crookes' account, where he found that, in fact, Crookes did have a prolific social media footprint, and this revelation totally undermined the official FBI narrative that Crookes had no social media footprint, which Cache Patel either didn't know about or lied about in that interview we played earlier. And now this week, as the FBI finally starts releasing documents, Trump is flat out saying that the assassination attempt and the cover-up was a Democrat plot. Quote, "Everybody knows the Crooked Joe Biden FBI didn't do what they should have with respect to the lunatic who shot me in Butler, Pennsylvania. By the time I got into office on January 20th, mostly information was missing, altered, corrupted, or gone. New info was just found. Why wasn't it seen long ago? This was all a Democrat plot to get me out of the election that failed. Dirty cop, Christopher Ray should pay a price for the way he handled this assassination attempt. And certainly for the things he said, God bless America. That, by the way, this is not being treated as major headline news. The President of the United States just flat out said that there was a government conspiracy among the Democrats to assassinate him. That's the kind of thing that you think there would be some follow-ups. I'm like, okay, well, we don't just say that and then move on. And if there's going to be any kind of follow-up, which it should be a lot more than if the President of the United States is directly accusing the Democrat party at the highest levels of trying to kill him, then we need a lot more than a follow-up. There should be major investigations, arrests. I mean, it should be, this should be treated as a, as a five alarm fire, obviously. Realistically, we're a couple of months away from not being able to do any of that because, because probably going to lose control of Congress. I mean, that's almost guaranteed at this point, although no one on the right wants to admit it, but it's true. And when that happens, congressional subpoena power is gone. Democrats will spend all their time investigating Trump filing fake impeachment charges, packing the court, making Puerto Rico a state, destroying the United States as we know it. You know, they get right back to what they were doing before, before they lost power. And we are running out of time for an actual accounting of what happened in Butler, and also the Ryan Ruth assassination attempt. There's plenty of foreign connections there as well. If you release all the information, then it turns out that Dan Bungino was right, then, you know, that's great news for the country. We should celebrate it. But if the information suggests something else that deep state operatives tried to murder Donald Trump, as Trump himself is now indicating because they knew he was about to win the election, then we need a total non-negotiable purge of the U.S. federal government immediately. Think about differently things could have played out. Just one day before the Trump assassination attempt, the FBI arrested and I ran connected operative named a SEAF merchant, saying that he was plotting to kill Donald Trump. Now, if Trump had actually been killed in Butler, it's conceivable that the deep state would have found a way to blame Iran to say the shooting was tied to merchants conspiracy somehow. They could then install someone like Nikki Haley as a GOP nominee, totally bypassing JD Vance because remember he hadn't been nominated yet. And then we could be, you know, living through a host of foreign wars right now, even bigger and more destructive than the ones we're currently experiencing. They would have boots on the ground in Tehran. It's impossible to know really, but it's also not terribly far-fetched given the sheer magnitude of the deception we've all been subjected to over the past two years. That deception must end. The federal government must tell us everything they know about Thomas Crooks because it's very clear they know a lot. Otherwise, the next time a threat to the establishment runs for office, they'll do the exact same thing. They'll shoot them in the head in front of millions of people and barring another miracle. The second time around, they probably won't miss. That'll do it for sure today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. We'll talk to you on Monday, for a great weekend. Godspeed. Podcast Summary

Key Points:

  1. The official narrative of the 2024 Butler assassination attempt fails to explain key security failures, such as the Secret Service's neglect of a slightly sloped roof and failure to deploy counter-drone systems despite prior warnings.
  2. Evidence suggests the Secret Service may have been complicit by ignoring urgent requests for drone operators and failing to secure the rooftop, allowing Thomas Crookes to position himself undetected, while also deploying counter-snipers—behavior inconsistent with standard security protocols.
  3. Unusual connections emerge

Summary:

S. government must release all available information to ensure accountability and prevent future tragedies.

FAQs

The Secret Service did not monitor the rooftop during the rally, despite prior awareness of its sloped roof. This failure, combined with a lack of drone detection and poor coordination, raises questions about their security measures and potential complicity.

Yes, they had a counter-drone system, but it was manned by a single under-trained operator who failed to test it. The system malfunctioned, and the operator spent hours troubleshooting, allowing Crookes’ drone to fly undetected for nearly nine minutes.

Yes, on July 10, 2024, a Secret Service agent emailed the Technical Security Division requesting an experienced operator due to concerns about drone threats. However, no response was found, suggesting a failure in protocol or oversight.

Yes, Crookes had a social media footprint, including direct communications with Willie Teppis, a known extremist linked to the Nordic Resistance Movement, who openly advocated for political assassinations.

An anonymous donor paid for the cremation, a detail that raises concerns given the lack of public disclosure and the fact that Crookes’ body was released for cremation just days after the shooting with bullet fragments still inside.

Crookes was seen talking to an unknown person at a gun range the day before the shooting, used encrypted email services in Belgium, Germany, and New Zealand, and had cell phone activity linked to Washington, D.C.—near an FBI office—suggesting possible coordination.
