EP. 10 Intriguing Q&A: 100 Questions & Answers with the Sturniolo Triplets

The transcript features a mix of personal reflections and advice on topics ranging from friendship dynamics to self-growth. Riley Green opens with a cautionary note about Hey Dude shoes, highlighting their addictive comfort and the risk of over-reliance. This theme parallels the creative process in college, where initial flawed ideas eventually evolve into strong, final products through persistence. The episode also addresses deeper personal challenges: navigating awkward social situations, managing fear of aging or loneliness, handling toxic friendships, and overcoming self-doubt. A recurring message is that authenticity and action are more valuable than perfection or over-analysis. The hosts emphasize the importance of self-compassion, especially when dealing with trauma, change, or rejection. They advocate for cutting ties with emotionally draining relationships and embracing individuality. One strong theme is that true friendship is built on mutual respect and shared values, not convenience or surface-level interactions. The advice is grounded in real-life experiences: from the discomfort of being in a room with a stranger to the emotional weight of a friend's betrayal. Ultimately, the episode promotes living authentically—by stepping into discomfort, making choices, and trusting that life unfolds through action, not fear. A final, resonant message is that one should not live for others’ approval; instead, they must live for themselves, with passion and integrity.

Hey, this is Riley Green, and I'm here to warn you about the dangers of Hey Dude shoes. With their easy on, all day comfort, you're bound to get addicted, so try them at your own risk. But when you can't wear anything else, don't say I didn't warn you. Getting to a great idea is hard in college, nonsensical essays, cringe-inducing presentations, and seemingly unsolvable problem sets. But then, the first thought becomes a final thesis, jumbled slides transform into a polished keynote, and that midterm assignment gets a lot less mid, because the road to great ideas is littered with bad ones. You just have to keep going until something clicks. Great ideas start on Mac. Find out more on apple.com/college. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Having insurance isn't the same as having State Farm. It's like thinking your crush message back, but it's just your roommate asking for rent. You wouldn't settle for a disappointing DM, so don't settle for just any insurance. When it comes to getting the help you need, State Farm is a real deal. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Good morning, Camper, welcome back to the Cup of Camera Podcast. Matt, you're just listening. You're going to miss out on Chris. Rush his hair. I'm sitting here a minute ago, getting ready to film like this. Matt looks in the eyes. He goes, "You need a brush or a home, like all angrily." That's why I want to. My hair looks fine. I agree. I do think it looks fine. I keep seeing TikToks and edits of people saying that I need to like lose my hats forever, because like my hair looks better than having hats. Or knee. Or knee. Or pinney forever. Lose your phone forever. Never hop back on the app. Go ahead. Go ahead. This is crazy. Okay, without being said, we should have started being brutal on that. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. What are you saying? What are you saying? Just start being brutal on the podcast. Dude. I kind of agree. Did you see this? Did you see the TikTok? I said, "You today?" Yeah. That was hilarious. Should we show them or no? You can edit it or something. Should we? I can text it to my way. You can put it on the screen and then I can text it. Can we actually do that? Yeah. Okay. I can't believe you posted that. I don't know if I was more showy-biz. It was so-- But are so. Like people take it too seriously. We're actually out to part their feelings. No. I feel like no one actually takes it seriously. Here's the way that I look at it. Should I play it a lot? I think I look at it. Yeah. And like, how should I do it? Like, show you like this into the mic. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, look. Can I say something real quick? Hold on. If you're commenting on something and it's stupid, be prepared to get called out for a beast. I agree. Like, go ahead. No, no, no. I don't reply to comments in like a rude way, is just because I don't-- for me, I can handle a rude comment, and then I can like clap back. You know, that's all I really need. But then my fear is like, my clap back usually leads to hundreds of fans cyberbullying who I'm like replying to the comment. You know what I mean? This is crazy. No, but genuinely, that's the only reason I don't clap back to any of the opposition that they don't want to put themselves in. Just play it so that they understand. But yeah, this was me a year ago. We went to a movie, and this is a TikTok I made. Someone posted it. Awesome. Me, my friends and Laura at the movie, we went to the Netflix movie the other day, and we're all on our phones. Okay? It's funny. We're all on our phones in a public situation. I get that. I thought it was hilarious, honestly. Ha! I was actually on my phone because I saw the person start to record, and I didn't want to look awkward. I was like, fuck, and go on my phone. Because that was before the movie starts, when it just said the movie title on the screen. There was no previews. There was nothing. And then I open the comment section and I see this. Straight up calls up, bro. I took her username out. You want me to pay attention to? There's no movie on yet. We're sitting in a dark room waiting for a movie to start. What do I pay attention to? What? With a comment like that, I hope you spend every single day fully alert. Never on your phone. Pay attention. Pay attention to what? The possible surroundings, the outcome of how my night's going to go. Nothing was happening. Yeah. Like the sunset. You were angry. Probably my favorite tech talk. That was our first wave of like having like a lot of comments. I feel like, but there's a lot of stupid things to say. Real comments don't bother me at all. That's not rude. You can be as rude as you want. There's not even paying attention to the movie's not on. That's literally what I was about to say. Because I can take real comments. It's stupid comments that bother me because it's like, you're that stupid? Literally. No, I feel the exact same way. Stupid comments bother me more than this. I'd rather someone call me a slur and be rude straights my face and say something just so plain stupid. Okay. I think what we overlooked or what you overlooked is I feel like, like, instead of that girl getting addressed, it should have been the fucking weirdo at that event that took a photo of us and posted it. No, I literally, I literally said it. I literally said it. I literally said it. That video. The only reason I was also on my phone is because I saw someone across the room starting to take my picture. Yeah. It's like, how? It's so weird, that is weird. You're so weird. You're going to take a photo of me without me even paying attention. I could, like, a charger through here one day if I wanted to. Okay. Get your finger out of the table. Weirdo. Okay. With that being said, we're going to take a really calm and kind approach to the rest of this podcast. This episode, we have this beautiful orange, very fluorescent orange. I wouldn't have to bring that on to. I was about to say this really bright orange. You bought the orange podcast. And someone, we asked you guys what you wanted us to talk about on top on podcasts. And one of you guys was like, oh, 100 questions and answers are like 100 pieces of advice on, like, specific scenarios. So I've made a Google form and you guys submitted about 10,000 responses. And I picked some of my -- Damn. I picked some of my, like, favorite 30 that I feel like confident that me, Matt and Chris could reply to your phone. Yeah, off your phone. I was making sure my hair looked nice. It doesn't. I picked my favorite 30 that I feel like we could all -- me, Matt and Chris could all have a good response to. And I put them in this hat. 100's kind of overkill. So if you guys like this, we can do it again. But for now, we got 30 questions that can lead to us giving advice in this top hat. And that's what I did today. All right. I'll go first. Okay. Just hand me the whole hat. Thank you, Matt. Yeah. Of course. Kid, honor off. Shut up. Shut your mouth. Well, I can hear the wrestling of the papers in the fluorescent orange hat. All right. Oh, I got number two. How crazy. Hopefully that won away from the first. How do each of you cope with the idea of growing older and the sad parts that come with it, etc. For or not, etc. example. Parents growing old starting families move that noise is like chair. It's like a harmonic. I was like sitting back and forth. That was crazy. I thought it was a train. Go ahead and restart. Okay. How do each of you cope with the idea of growing old and the sad parts that come with it? Example. Parents growing old starting families moving apart in fear of losing who you are as. You age. Um, last part, losing who I am as I as I age. I don't think I ever will lose who I am as I age. I think the only thing you kind of lose is like an innocence because as you grow old and. But face more challenges in this life. There's more things that just kind of like tear away your innocence as a child. Because when you're a child, there's nothing that can go wrong all that type of stuff. So you don't really like, I wouldn't say you change as you grow up. I'd say you become like more adapted to earth. What is it exactly worded as? It's like, how are we going to cope with the idea of growing older in the back half? Yeah, back half what I was answering. Fear of losing who you are as you age. It's like an example of me. For me, I was going to say like for that part of it. I don't really feel like when you're growing up, you like lose yourself. I think you actually gain more of a capability to like, like the things that you're not capable of doing but you're aware of when you're younger. Like you don't have the access to it. Like I feel like as you get older, you just gain the capability of like dealing with it. If that makes sense. Not didn't really make sense. It doesn't mean I'm going to be honest. Okay, that's fine. It was a thought. I feel like somebody might get that though. For me, it's just like I feel like life is going to move on regardless. And I feel like if you worry about it and try to cope with life forward, you're already in the wrong spot. Yeah, I feel like you just need to know what's going to happen. Like dealing with your parents growing older, I feel like it's obviously sad. But I'm really cool with my parents and like obviously when time comes, like your parents, like your parents are older than you in the world works. So you will witness your parents like die one day. It's sad but it's mostly. But it's also like it's life isn't designed to have like kids die before parents as well. Yeah, it's just so weird. It's a very strange thing and I feel like watching my I'm very content with the future. Me too. And I feel like I just moving apart. I don't think like yeah, we moved apart from our mom and our dad. I don't think us three will ever move apart. So I feel like I feel a comfort in that. And then like just how I look at it. I also just knowing that my mom and dad have each other as well. Like it's not like I'm leaving one of them like alone. It's also for me like you can't change what's going to happen in the future because you can't you know what's going to happen. So I feel like always like never worry about shit you can't change. Like you're sitting around worrying about shit all the time. And you literally cannot change it. Then you need to just move on with life. Like that's like one thing I use to always say is like if you cannot change it, don't worry about it. But also our parents like with a part of them growing older is like, our parents are one super strong people to begin with. And who they what they want most from their life at this point is to see All their kids do well and be happy. So I know being here. I'm not seeing my parents as often. They're happier that I'm here getting Shadon and being happy than they would be if I was doing nothing, yeah, yeah, really good. Well, Oh, wow, this is a long one. I don't know if I'll be able to read all that so I'm dropping it. That's crazy. The load just looks you. Um, I got three. We're stressing away. Yeah, that's crazy. Uh, the school year started. I was scared. I'm not gonna have any classes with my friend. And I don't know what I'll do, but I don't know what I'll do because I act weird when I'm not with people and comfortable with any advice on that. I love you guys so much. Um, okay, I feel like I always feel like, um, if we go out and it's Nick and Kirstner with me, I'm like, never holding conversations with anyone because I don't feel comfortable doing that like alone as a, as who I am just personally, but I also feel like within school, school is like the perfect time to be making friends like different friends. And even though you're not in the class, it's your best friend. School is the perfect place that you're going to make friends. So being in a class with like, uh, a bunch of people that aren't your, your closest friend, you're going to make friends in that class. So I wouldn't, I wouldn't even stress that much about not being, um, in the same class as your friends because your friends are going to change throughout your years of high school and whatnot. Yeah. And I also feel like the part about like not being afraid of not having classes with your friends is that was like my whole time in high school, my two closest friends in high school were a great above me and a great below me. And I never had classes with either of them. So I feel like high school, honestly, like most of the high school experience for me and like having a good time with your friends is 90% what happens outside of school as well. Like honestly, and like, that's the thing with me, Matt and Chris being tripled as well is like, since there's three of us, if we spend the entire day together, there's nothing that we have to like, say to each other when the day ends because we haven't had any individual experience. I never really saw Nick in school. Yeah. So it's like, that's why me and Matt talked probably more than me and Chris did after school because me and Matt had literally nothing in common. Like I'd see Chris at lunch. I would have like, I would see Matt half the day and then I'd see Nick the other half of the day. Yeah. I'd both want to feel like I think that honestly is a good thing if you know the same classes as your friends because you can like look forward to talking about something after school. Yeah. How I look at it too is like, um, with school and shit, I feel like if I could go back in time, at least for my own high school experience, I would just realize that high school doesn't matter as much as it does and you shouldn't have a fear of like embarrassing yourself or wherever you think matters in high school really doesn't afterward. Like go be confident, go up to people, start conversations, and like make new friends. Like I feel like if I went back to high school with the knowledge, I have now and just like social awareness and stuff, I would be a whole different story. You just got to go up to people. Like don't be scared to approach new people or just be nice to everyone. Hey, this is Riley Green and I'm here to warn you about the dangers of hey dude shoes. With their easy on all day comfort, you're bound to get addicted so try them at your own risk. But then the first thought becomes a final thesis, jumbled slides transform into a polished keynote, and that midterm assignment gets a lot less mid because the road to great ideas is littered with bad ones. Great ideas start on Mac, find out more on apple.com/college. Yeah, I agree. A lot of my friends were like I was super intimidated by beforehand. 100%. And it was mostly because they were all in grades older than me. Yeah, but if you go out to someone and say like, okay, what's your name? Whatever, like no rude person is out of general. Yeah, just start a conversation and the thing is that they turn you down off of like introducing yourself in their dirt bag anyway. Yeah, you wouldn't want to be their friend anymore anyway. 100%. I grabbed the long one, but that couldn't ace. I, wow. I low-key stock and keep falling for guys. I don't know. AKA hallway crushes, and it creeps me out. Sometimes, sometimes, some examples. Oh, it creeps me out sometimes. Period. Some examples, comma. This person needs slider grammar. They got me reading like a fool. There was this one kid in my elementary fifth and sixth grade, but he was only in my class in fifth grade, and we never talked. I thought he was cute, but I didn't actually develop a crush on him until eighth grade and like him, and I didn't like him until eighth and ninth grade. So two years. So she liked him for two years, but new new him since fifth grade. And during ninth grade, I literally found out everything about him, and we didn't even have any classes together. Like no joke. I found his address birthday. The names, ages, jobs, and if they had one. And socials of all his siblings, he had nine. And his parents, as well as also his entire social media, not none. And his parents as well as as well. And also his entire school schedule and more. Then mid-ninth grade, I started liking another guy who was a junior, and I found his name, socials, his entire school schedule and his friends names. Wow. And socials, but that's about it. Girl, that's more that's far insane. I still like this boy, by the way. He's a senior now. And I even changed my schedule this year. So I would be in one of his favorite electives. He took his sophomore and junior year, because I knew he would come visit me and he does. I also have an entire individual albums of both of the boys, more of the second one, with hundreds of photos of them that they don't know exist of them. All right. That's enough. I got it. I feel like really right off the bat here, I want to say, if you want to shot with either one of these two boys, never find, never let them find out that any of that exists. Or so, like, yeah, you should be imprisoned. I'm like really concerned. Yeah. Me too. I feel like, like, if you like someone enough to do all that, then, and you don't, like, act on it, like, that's strain. Who am I? I feel like someone that much that you're willing to do all of that, like behind your phone screen, but you're not willing to go. My advice would be like, stop doing that and go just introduce yourself to this person. No, my advice is honestly just, like, love yourself, because if you're doing all this effort about someone else, right? And you're still not confident enough to go up to them, that is just some deep internal issues that you have. Like, if you have all those things, like outward going stuff, but you don't have enough confidence to go up to them, you really need to, like, just build up that confidence inside of you, get to know yourself before you can. Yeah. I feel like, and it is, like, it is also concerning, because when you're, when you get into, like, relationships and stuff and you, like, like, people, there's a point where, like, if you like someone too much, it freaks them out. And that's, like, where I suffer a lot whenever I'm, like, talking to somebody or anything. Yeah. I get freaked out when people over-like me, when I feel, like, really, yeah, I just get intimidated. Well, it just seems like I get in person like, an abundance amount of, like, care and love. And it seems like this person's entire day roots around. Yeah. And it's also very weird. And not to mention either, like, I don't even know a great, you're in, but last one I heard is, like, nine. It's like, if you're only a nine three. No, senior, I think. Oh, I was just at ninth grade. She likes a junior or something. Okay. But if you're only, like, you're so young, you have so much, so much more time in high school to, like, meet new guys at the school, all that type of stuff, that stressing over these two guys that you're, like, kind of creeping over is not. Yeah. I say it's not as important. First step is to stop being a fucking weirdo. That's first step. That's blanket statement. Yeah. But I feel he's honestly doing what you need to from now. I feel like, definitely just, um, more in-person reactions or more in-person interactions. It's any at all. Like, ex-hout-zillow, ex-hout-fi-my-friends. Yeah. Cut that all out. Let's quit. Maybe meet at a coffee shop or something. Yeah. Yeah. I needed to do one. Yeah. That was crazy. Yeah. That's insane. It's a lot easier to get somebody to like you and you're hanging out with them in person and over the internet. Especially if you're, like, stalking their mom's face. Intermission, well, Chris. Isn't that right? Yeah. You're funny. How you guys do things alone? Like, got over the fear of doing things alone because I'm a twin and I have no idea how I'm supposed to do things alone because I'm always with her. And as I'm getting older, I have to be more independent, but I'm just wondering if you have any tips. I know this is a, I know this is different because you're triplets, but I relate as a twin alone, alone, alone, they tell me 10 times that are out together. Right, Nick, relax. Um, I feel like, I feel like there's a lot of things that mean that can Chris love to do together. But then as you grow up and as you do so many things together, you start to learn what interests you have that aren't with, with each other. Like the, obviously, your twins and stuff like that. And I mean, they can Chris are triplets, but we do have our differences outside of being an triplet. So it's like, you'll find the things that comfort you and your twin won't like as much. And then those are going to be the things that you will strive for individually because you know that, um, do like it and that just because your twin doesn't, doesn't mean you don't like it. Yeah. Well said. What do you have to say? I think that me, Matt and Nick got very fortunate by having the same career path and job because I see them every day pretty much and like that's about it. So, and I also being a twin, like I would say this person who wrote that is in a harder position than we are because for sure, if you're a twin, first of all, that's like a one-on-one. Yeah. Yeah. It was just me and Nick or just me and Matt. Obviously they get, are far more connected. I'm not saying I'm not as connected with you guys, but when you're a twin, it's just two of y'all. That must be inseparable type shit, especially if you get along. So I feel like the first thing would just be okay with not seeing each other for a decent time or a while. But I'd say it's also all about common interests because if you start to spend time alone, the best time that you'll spend together is something that you have a common interest in. Or if you're just having a common interest in something that they care about. There's some things that Matt Chris care about that I don't care about. Like, I'll put on a front to care about it so that they feel comfortable talking to me and want to go to me about it. I feel like I feel like like find things that you like individually and then go do them individually and then go like you can go and recap what you did. If there's an artist that you like go to their concert without your twin and then go home and talk about it. Yeah. My number one thing across the board is about for like individuality and like having stuff to share and like about experiences and relationships is genuinely like if you do more alone, you'll have an easier time holding a new relationship with someone or a friendship with someone because you're able to share and express things that happen to you without them. Yeah. If you're doing something with someone every single day, it won't work in the long run of a relationship or friendship because you have nothing new and exciting to be able to get involved. Like obsessed with each other and only each other alone. Like y'all had to like go live life together, have stories to tell with friends and all that. Because the only thing you have in common is like the constant experiences you're doing together. Yes. It's not going to work. Next, this is a good topic. I feel very insightful. I feel smart. Okay. How do you really tape them down the middle? Yes. Some of them are cut in half on real. How to work up the courage to post my first YouTube video. I have it edited and it's hilarious but I still haven't gotten myself to post it yet. I'm 21 and this is the time to get out of my comfort zone. I want to be a YouTuber so bad but I feel like a part of me is holding myself back. How do I deal with that? Thank you. Just post it. Let me see the beginning. Okay. I'm going to be just post. I'm going to be brutally honest here. Post the first video. I guarantee you slim to nobody will watch that video. And it's the same with every single YouTuber at the start. When we post it our first YouTube video, fucking like a month, 34 views. You will have very bare minimum views, very bare minimum judgment. So it really is just like go ahead and post it. See how it is. And then if you don't like it, then that's fine. But you have to go out and try something for it to actually, especially if you want to be a YouTuber. If you already are at like a little discomfort posting your first video, then that's like you just go out there and try it and then you'll realize it's either for you or not for you after you post one. Yeah. And I was about to say what the first thing they said is how do I work up the courage to post my first YouTube video? I haven't edited and it's hilarious but I still haven't gotten myself to post it yet. It's like girl, you don't find it hilarious if you're not confident enough to post it essentially. Because I give you actually, I don't know. If you actually believe like, Oh, it's hilarious. You edit it and it's really good. You would 100, 100% positive. I would just say, I feel like like, like, I don't know how to comment it to yourself. Like with YouTube nowadays, I feel like if you post on YouTube and nothing else, people aren't going to find it if you're like a beauty channel. So I feel like to start just have like friends around you that care about your YouTube as much as you do that you're comfortable with like seeing the video ahead of time. Yeah. And just post it to them and like let them see it family friends, whatever. And then just post it on like TikTok and shit as well. Yeah. But genuinely, what I was saying wasn't I was trying to be rude. It's genuinely like a, if you're, you have to find it like genuinely hilarious. Yeah, you have to be confident enough to post it. If you're not confident in it and you can't prove you can't back it up with your own words, no one else is going to believe me. Yeah, just do it. With their easy on all day comfort, you're bound to get addicted. So try them at your own risk. But then the first thought becomes a final thesis, jumbled slides transform into a polished keynote and that midterm assignment gets a lot less mid because the road to great ideas is littered with bad ones. It's like thinking your crush message you back, but it's just your roommate asking for rent. Like Nike said, what was I going to say? Hold on. Who's Nike? Is it who's Nike? Because it's like I said it like Nike is like a person, but it's actually just a -- What was I going to say? Okay, yeah. Go ahead, Matt. Read the next one. I like to have -- I had something, but now I forget. It's all good. Let's come on. Bring this together here. My back hurts so bad or no? Okay, ready? I fell asleep last night and like my whole like legs were numb when I woke up because I slept like a weird anger. You ever heard that stretch and then you just started going like that? Shake it. What? That was a dog which is a dog, whatever. Okay. Ready? My friend who I have known for 11 years has started to be -- He said friend in air force. That's what they put. And my friend who I have known for 11 years has started to be insecure and annoying and she wants to do my phone chats and camera roll to see if there are photos or group chats without her. And also she tells me stories about my other friend saying how they leave me out when it's far from the truth. She is very clingy and doesn't like it when I talk to -- talk to anyone but her, but she can talk to whoever she wants to. I wanted to end things with her, but it hurts because it's been 11 years and she only started acting up like this last year. It shouldn't hurt. Yes, it sucks that people change and stuff, but like I've come to realize that no matter how long a relationship is, if they're doing you dirty at any point, just leave. Yeah. It's also like any -- I don't know. It's like if you're like that's like if like a couple's married for like 30 years, then they slowly start hating being each other. It's not worth just sacrificing the rest of time because it's like you're comfortable. You know, you don't want to get comfortable with someone enough to just like, "Oh, whatever." I guess it's not. But they're also going through your phone and stuff like you just get a very unhealthy. I feel like also when it comes to that, if there's like, if there's something that's genuinely crushing your health and your mental health and like is not good for you, you got to get out of it no matter how it will make the other person feel because ultimately if they're like deteriorating and they don't feel some type of way. If they're going through your phone, trying to see shit and they're already spectacle and already making fun of you and shit to other people whatever leaving you out, then fuck them. Leave and do what you want. Yeah. There should be no considering how they're going to feel about it because they're already not considering how you feel. There should be no up-and-abandoned scenarios. Phone searching, leaving out in friends. Like all the friends. Yeah. If a friend went through my phone, I think I'd bitch slap them into oblivion. There's like absolutely no read out there. I got nothing in my phone though. My friends can't see. So it's just like either, but it's like they don't need to go through it. They're just weird, like such weird behavior, weirdo shit to check for group chats that you like these people have to mean seventh grade. Nick. Okay. Next. Yeah, that's crazy. That was just like I feel like I can't help anyone in that situation. Yeah, I don't have any experience. You just gotta get up and leave. Buy a horseshoe. I'm hesitant on joining the basketball team in my school again this year. All the girls that I play with really love basketball and I don't as much. I don't want to give it my all as much as they do. Should I join again? Absolutely not. If you don't want to join and you're always joining because your friends then just go watch and play literally. If you want to play then go play. That's like if you want to like half-ass it then just or if you just want to be like a part of it, be the team water girl or yeah, like I know. Go support them. If you're like holding the team back and you also don't want to be playing then just don't play. But if you like, you feel like you're holding the team back but you do like it. You're just not as good and just try hard and do your best. Yeah, and there's nothing. If you genuinely want to play joining the team if you don't then don't join. But there's also nothing wrong with like having friends in like different groups of your life. Like you clearly are not interested in basketball at all. Like if during like the team's basketball games you picked up a new hobby and made new friends in that you could hang out with like your basketball friends. Or if all the basketball friends go leave for like a cup of tea sleep party with croissants and you love croissants and you hang out with them then instead of that basketball. But yeah, you definitely shouldn't sign yourself off. That's already like teasing at this new one. Let's see where sentence. How do I tell my best friend that I hate her other friends? I'm not even being jealous of them is just that they are some of the most hated people in the school. And since I'm now associated with them the people that I do really like in my school and want to become closer with them or closer with think less of me because I'm seen with these annoying ass people. I love my best friend and I want to continue being her being friends with her. I just hate her other friends. What do I do? I think you just find a balance of being with your friend when she's not with the people you don't like. And I feel like anybody. I mean, either of that it's like if your friend is enjoying hanging out with those people she's got to be somewhat like them. So it sounds like you're like trying not to hate your friend but you do. I feel like I feel like a big this is actually huge for me. I feel like for anyone that judges someone without getting like their opinion first or if these people are just going to judge you because of one or two things that they know about you without actually trying to get to know you first and that stops them from wanting to be your friend or be around you, then those types of people aren't the type of people that you want to be around anyway. Because I feel like just like, I feel like living look at all confused. No, I got it. Because I feel like living living in LA and just like at these parties and then all these people talk about these people and those people talk shit about that. You hear a lot of people saying things that you like just can't believe. Like, wow, that person really would have done that. But also, I'll never, I'll never take somebody's opinion for who they are through somebody else's opinion. But also part of with vocalizing with that much, like, oh, I hate this person. I hate this. I hate that. You need to die on that hill. Like, you need to be 100% about that opinion if you're going to vocalize it. Because there's way too many people that I've encountered in this world that will say, like, exactly how this person's talking, like, oh, I hate my friends friends. I hate this. I hate that. But then like, go and do it. Yeah. I don't feel like you're self sabotaging if you're going to complain about this person and complain about the way they're acting here. If you're going to set yourself up for the same amount of failure and then be all shocked about it. I also feel like it's got to be a point with your friend that's like the friend with the other friends because you got to be comfortable with them. We're like, for me, if like any of my closest friends, like you two, Nate, Maddie, like Sam or anyone came out to me and was like, oh, like, but I really don't fuck with that person. Like, I wish, like, you should probably watch out or like, don't hang up with them as much. I would listen to them because they're my real friends. Yes. And that's why it's like, if you're, if you, that's your best friend and you've like expressed your hatred or like, you're like worried about her with the other people and she doesn't do anything about it, then that's on her at that point. You just got to do what you got to do. Yeah, but you really don't want to be one of those people that are saying you dislike something or someone and then continue to put yourself in that just scenario. Yeah, that's, I always think that's so corny. That's like the worst, that's like the most obvious, like, self sabotage. Like if you're going to complain about someone, do not put yourself in situations in which they would be about 100% because then you're losing your card for being able to have to be valid with complaining about them. If you complain about someone one time and then you put action into not hanging out with them, then that's valid because you actually tried to stop yourself from the same terrible situation. Yeah. But if you're saying you don't want to be friends with those people, then you're going back and going back and going back. No, I don't like that. No one can help you drink like 10. Yeah, I mean, no one can take you serious. No one can help you at that point, got you, other than yourself. How do I rekindle my friendship with my nine plus year best friend? We were so close and that she dropped out of school and smoked weed every day and I'm not into that and I'm not into that stuff. All she wants to do is smoke weed and talk about boys, but I just wanted to be back to how it was us going to the beach and bike riding and watching TV shows. I miss her, but I don't like the person she has become. Hey, to say there's nothing to rekindle there. Yeah, if your friend has moved on and they don't like doing the things that they used to do, that's the decision they made and you can't or you just got to move with what they're talking about. If that person's happy with like the way that I hate probably my biggest pet peeve in this world, isn't people are like, I don't like the person they've become or like I don't like what's happening with this person. And it's like the what you said about your friend, like saying you rekindle your friendship. Like, I don't think she really did anything wrong. Like, yes, she smokes weed now, but it's not like she's like, she's a horrible person. Yeah, it's like if you're not, if that's just something you don't want to be a part of anymore, that's something that you just need to take yourself out of. You think you're worried about it? Like, here's how I look at it, right? If I'm friends with someone, they're also like dead sober and then they start smoking weed. I don't care. I'm still your friend. Correct. And less the weed is like affecting my life. Like if we go out and you smoke and you want to like drive home high and I get scared or something, like if you're worried about it, then you're worried about it. Yeah. But like other than that, let them. Yeah. And let's like all of their hobbies start to negatively impact you the way someone changes. And if it's like progressing their life, you shouldn't allow. Yeah, like just because someone like smokes weed and talk and talks about, I just said weeds like plural, like smokes weeds. Like anyway, anyway, if someone you're best friends with starts smoking weed and talking to boys, then you don't want to be friends with them anymore, then then you're one different to begin. Yeah. And there's not enough things that match out. And if you're missing those, you know, those bike rides and all that stuff, and then they don't want to do it, then you got to find somebody that actually do it because you got two legs still, girl. Yeah. Wow. It's crazy. It's true. I hate bike rides. Well, I do, I like them, but I just feel like I haven't owned a bike in a while. You do like bike rides, though, like you know, yeah, but we're doing it. Yeah, I don't need a bike fun. We should all get a bike. I'm not agree. But where would we bike biking is just so annoying because like, you can't, you can only go so far and then you have to go back, you know, you know, when you like walk somewhere and you got to walk back and you, but you can like track the distance like, oh, like if I walk all over there, then I'll have to like walk all the way back. So I don't want to walk too far. Yes. I feel like when you bike, it's like, you're biking like so long. You got a bike all like I feel like it's just such an intermediate like between walking and driving. No, well, that's the exact point of a bike. I think it's lame, though. But I think there's so many times where bike is so necessary. I think I'm going up like the street, like four blocks to visit a friend or something or if I'm like, going to go for like like a bike ride like you, like there's so many situations like bike is like whatever. Matt stop. All right. My girl best friend cheated on me with my boyfriend. Oh, but he cheated on her. So she wants to be my best friend again. I don't know. Hold on. No, wait, wait, that makes no sense. Her girl best friend. My girl best friend cheated on me. That's not sure your boyfriend cheated on you with your girl best friend. Reward that. No, your boyfriend cheated on you with your girl best friend. I don't know what she's saying. It sounds like she wants to do a friend more than a boyfriend. So you're a friend. So you're cheated on me. How your friend can't cheat on you with my boyfriend. That's why I bet you she likes the friend, like in a romantic way. Because if the friend is her priority in the sentence, you're trying to try and show them. No, that's true. Like her. So her boyfriend cheated on her with her best friend. Yeah, but he cheated on her. But she, this person's, like, doesn't make zero sense. I think she likes her friend. I think it makes zero sense. It doesn't make any sense. I think she likes her friend one. That one's ass. And I think if that's a true scenario, you should cut them both off. They both sound like terrible people. Not really. She's dating. She's texting my girl best friend cheated on me with my guy best friend. And she wants a friend, my friend, whatever. I don't know. Just oh, God, I want to read this one because they're going to like cut the clip and like, let me read it. This is on bisexual. Like, I'll read it. I don't like have to read it. And they're like, clip it. Anyway, I'm bisexual. And I came out to some friends three years ago. Yeah, they're going to take our. Oh, it's fine. It's fine. That's fine. It doesn't matter. But whatever. We're telling a story. I'm telling a story. I'm bisexual. Two long ago. A year ago. But no, I hold on. Y'all are distracting me. Just read it. You look stupid. I'm bisexual. I came out to some friends three years ago, but I still didn't come out to my family because they're a bit homophobic. And I'm always so scared to be in a relationship with a girl because of them. I don't know what I should do. Fuck your parents. Yeah. Correct. I think a bit homophobic is just homophobic. Like, there's no. It depends what age you are. If you're like a minor, then there's not much you can do. But if you're 18, then like, move out. Fuck your parents. Yeah. I was about to say, like if you can't right now, just pretend that you like them until you can escape. Yeah. Like, or like, that's honestly such a perk being bisexual and like, having always my best friend. But it's actually secretly your girlfriend, your family. Thanks for. Yeah. Honestly, like, I think there's like a good way. You could hide it for a little bit, which is terrible. But it's like, it's, it's so much. And I don't like to tell people like, Oh, hide it. But genuinely, like, if you're not fully 100% comfortable with who you are, in your home is a dangerous place. If your parents are the real version of you, you're better off hiding yourself so you can put yourself in a safe scenario. And like, it's, it is really sad, but it's like, I don't know. I feel like you're your parents, every single, everybody's parents, no matter how homophobic or anything like any time that you want to come out, you're still their daughter and at the end of the day, if they can't accept that like, that you're that you're their daughter and you're by, that's bisexual. It's like, grow up. They deserve to like you. I didn't even know if that. I don't know. I said, I don't know. It's, it's just like, I don't know. Like, nobody's parents should have that much homophobic homophobic homophobic homophobic. To that, if you come out as gay, that is like, altering, at that point, then they're just terrible parents. Yeah. If your parents love you, let's say, you're sexual out of you. That's why I feel like I can so easily cut ties with like people in like the world is because of like, if this person, genuinely like one fact about me could alter whether or not they want to be friends anymore, it's like, okay, goodbye. Like, it's, I don't know. There's really not much that it's crazy me that that like people struggle with that. It's also like, I was asking you a day of girl. What did he say? He's like, no one's asking you to date a girl. Like, oh, yeah. True. Yeah. I thought he was talking to me. I'm like, I think some people who have homophobia, just like, I think I've, like homophobia, I, I posted some threads and so many people were like, freaking out, reposting, replying to it. I said, homophobia is the gayest should ever. And it's true. Because it's like, to be homophobic, you have to care so much about gayness. Like, it's true. Like in order to be homophobic, you need to allow gay people. Like, you need to literally be gay. Yeah. I guess I got so many other things. I can try to write it out. Then like gay people like, if I have a hungry people in this world, I just don't understand why people care. There are people who are starving. There are people with cancer. There are people with serious issues in this world. Yeah, it blows my mind. How to live without being in constant fear that the absolute worst is going to happen. Someone dies, shootouts, wars, et cetera. See, I need someone else. So buy some of this 'cause I'm kind of the same way. - Don't worry about war. - Yeah. - Don't worry about that. - If you're just constantly worrying about war, just check out war. - Yeah, I'm good. - War currently is one of my like few issues. - Oh wait, I feel like you just gotta live wars. - And just be okay with what's gonna happen and everything's gonna happen for a reason. And you just gotta obviously, this world. - I guess terrible as some sort of man. - So just didn't sound like. - No, as terrible as some sort of war. - Some scenarios in your life will be in "Henby." They're all leading to like a greater purpose. What are you laughing at? - Nothing. - You're laughing at this poor girl's call. - No, it's actually, you can't constantly worry about life 'cause then you're just gonna be scared to do anything. - Yeah, forever. - So fucking whatever you want and whatever happens happens. Like get some dirt on your hands, scrape your knees, go play in the park or something. I don't know. - Kid, what are you reading? - I don't know. - Give the magic hat to Nick. - No problem. - That last one to be sad. - Why? - Why you were dying laughing the whole time? - No, I was laughing out of like nervousness. Like I wasn't laughing at the thing. I was just laughing 'cause I wanna come for a while. - I thought we've been filming for a decade. - We haven't. - We haven't. - It's been 40 minutes. - Holy shit. - Okay. - Stop asking. - How do you often differentiate between fake friends or how there's no often? How do you differentiate between fake friends and real friends? - Your real friends don't judge you for who you are. And your real friends will. Fake friends are only looking at things that you do. That will benefit them. - Correct. - Anything that you do that you start talking about, like disusing from that person to like, oh, I wanna go start working out or like work on myself. I wanna go start doing this. I wanna go start doing that. - I never understood fake friends. She was like, why are you even faking? Why do you care to fake? - I don't get it either. - You don't like somebody and they don't like you then fucking move on with your life and go about it. - Yeah. - But someone like half ass is like fake friend. Just like leave and go do. - Yeah, I don't believe in ending things on like, oh, let's like just be civil and like end things on good terms, like be happy with each other. - Oh, fuck you. - If you wish the words for me, I will equally wish the words for you and I don't like you. - I feel like this is, okay. - I don't know. It's just weird to me like that people like, like I wouldn't put, I wouldn't put active. Like people are like, oh, it's so exhausting to hate people and like it takes so much energy. It's like, I hate in peace. Like I hate people but it takes zero, zero energy out of me. - I thought it's like a background thought. Like my hate doesn't suffocate my day-to-day life. I'm not wishing the words for this person constantly. - I don't ever wish the words for people. - Okay, so that's where we do it. - I hope that people learn. - Yes, I hope that people learn and figure out what they have done that's like, fucked up or wrong. But I'm never gonna be like, oh, that person. - How does it be so dirty to play where it's like, if you need to really like, counsel a friendship, it's not worth the time. - I agree. - I agree. - Especially when they're all so young, we're all gonna die. Like literally none of this matters. - Yeah, if someone's actively like making you a more negative person and they don't really care and you don't really care about them, then just remember. - I also feel like this is like, this is like, give me that. - Hold on. - This is like friendship, literal friendship 101. You don't want a bunch of people that you can be like, oh yeah, like we're kind of friends. Yeah, we hang out sometimes. You want a good solid group where you're just hanging out with them, that's those are your friends and you don't need any like, people, there's people who have too many like, oh, I'm bored. Let me just go get lunch with this fucking eight, number 18 on the friendship roster. Like you don't wanna have so many friends to the point where it's like your whole life is filled with entertaining these hundreds of different people. You want to be able to spend time on your own, you want to be able to go spend time with your real friend. - It's a bad call. - I'd much rather go to, I would much rather go to one of my friend's house, that is my true real friend and sleep over their house and literally live with them for a full week. Then I would spend that week hanging out with seven different friends doing the same bullshit with like, people that I don't care about. That's the thing too is like, if you're gonna have like fake friends that you don't really care about, but like it's easier to be their friend than like, cut them off. I think of just like, if that's an actual scenario that you're living in, I can suggest that you're potentially going into your real friendships and talking shit about those people. - Yes or no? - No, you can suggest that. - I could suggest that, right? So it's like, if you are constantly going to like, real friends and talking shit about fake friends, if that's a constant cycle in your life, every single time you go and talk shit about so and so, too so and so, you're gonna be deemed as the person that's just talking shit about everyone to everyone. And no one's gonna actually trust that you can handle friendships, manage friendships or that you're a good person. And the odds are, you probably aren't. - No. - Like if you're in a relationship with everybody. - Move on, how to deal with lowless and deal with the thought of being alone. We've already really done that. - No, we haven't. - Skip, we've done that. - Whatever we talked about it. Just fucking, I don't know, be comfortable with yourself and live life. - That's all it. - And once you find like things that you're comfortable in alone, life by yourself to be real fun sometimes. - No, I love being alone. - I'm just talking so quiet for it. I don't even have these headphones on. I can't like hear you. Like, I can't hear a thing you just said. - No, I agree like sometimes I, Matt, get up, Matt. - You're gonna fuck up your camera angle. - These kids, these kids, he's fully under the table. - These kids like soak in Matt's advice so much and they'd love to hear his point. - And he has the worst advice. - And he's like, - What? - That's great. - And he's here all the time. - I did. - Come on, Matt. - I get nervous talking about this stuff. - Why? - I don't know, 'cause I put myself in people's positions and I understand the things that they go through. - Are you worried about like, - Yeah, I just think it's like, - You're worried about someone taking your advice. - No, no, no, no. Like, yeah, 'cause you gotta always sprinkle the little bit of doubt on it so that if you're advised fails, it's not your whole sprinkle doubt on it. - No, I don't know. I just feel like, - Sit up, dude. - Sit up, dude. - You're making me sleep. - No, this is how I sit. - You don't always sit. - I don't feel like this the whole time. - I feel like I put myself in a lot of these people's shoes and I see similarities and like, - Like, you don't feel certified to talk about it. - No, I do. But I feel certified, but it's just like, I feel they're pain. - I feel they're pain. - No, I do. - I feel like I just like, - I understand. - Where's your arm? - Oh my God. - I don't know what it is. - He is hand under. - I couldn't see his arm. I saw like a quarter inch of skin there. - But no, I just feel like it's important that people like us talk about this type of stuff and help people out. But I feel like, I can't. - All right. - Because you know, I don't know. This is my jam. Good. - All right, not letting people change you and not letting people control you. - Okay, I can start. Go ahead. - I feel like this one's boring as shit. - No, no, no, no, no. - I have something to show. - None of these are boring, Chris. - Go ahead. - Not looking at you like if you are living your life and you feel like you have to change for someone else, then you're not living your life. - Yeah. - You're living it for people. - It's as simple as that. - Even action, I sent this to Matt and Chris the other day, and I'm going. - I live my full life not giving a fuck about what people are going to say on the internet in person in real life, because I know that the people around me would give me the clear guided, like, open thought of how they feel. That's not what matters to me. - This is one sentence in my tribe and the people I agree. - One sentence that I have and then this is all I have for the topic. It's really, all it really is, if you put the fucking papers down, hand on the on your lap and talk into the mic with passion and pride. - Correct. - If you live Matt, if you live your life for other people, you're not living your life. - There you go. Read our little quote. - All I was going to say is like, I, this is, I screenshot it. - Go ahead. - It resonated with me. It's like, that's good. - If you obsess over whether you're making the right decision, you are basically assuming that the universe will reward you for one thing and punish you for another. So it's like the universe has no fixed agenda. Once you make any decision, it works around that. There is no right or wrong, only a series of possibilities that shift with each thought, feeling and experience and action, or an action that you experience. Like I just based off right now and kick Nick's teeth in the middle of this podcast. But like, I think like, oh, the universe is already planned. It's whatever is going to happen is going to happen. And why would I do that? I don't know what the fuck I said. - Well, it's genuinely like every single, what it means is basically like if you're doubting something like, oh, if like someone you've been friends with for so long is just like dragging you down and you're like, oh, I don't want to like cut them off and like, I don't want to like, sever this friendship. But it's going to take your energy away from you and how productive you can be for the next year and a half. Let the motherfucker fly seriously because they'll probably, they'll do better without constantly having to worry about you and you'll do better without having to constantly worry about them. And you were not meant to be friends in that scenario. That's why hate, hate, hate, hate when people are just like, like, I don't like the idea of like leaching on to like a specific, very like niche moment in time. - Move on. - You know what I mean? Because we are all past this. Like I see people like look back to like six years ago and they were like, oh, I missed this so much. It's like if you are so stuck in that past thought, you are never going to progress yourself into the future. - Life is all about, you say things with so much anger sometimes, I'm filled with it. - Don't feel yourself with pride and joy that you feel comfortable. - No, it's just like more of passion. It's just like, I just don't like, I don't like the idea because I don't like the idea. - Yeah, passion is anger. - Because I feel like mixed in the same jars sometimes. - Because I think it was like, get to separate the jars. - Because with me, it's like I constantly think of like how like change is super important to me. Like I love being able to change the ability of like what I can do, who I surround myself with, what goes on in my life. This is like when people just leech on. until like things you used to do or like this and that. It just makes me feel like the way you're going. It makes me feel like I'm digressing as opposed to progressing, but I feel like I'm progressing. It's like I feel just being held back. - I feel that. - That's really do. I just hold up something else to say. - No, yeah, that's fine. - All right, Matt. - Okay, here it goes. The quiet fucking coyote over here. - Would you stop? - Read it. - They can hear me. - He said would you stop? - Read it. - Um, how would you say the best way to find out about what you want for yourself in life is? - Ah, come on. I often find myself not knowing where I want to end up with my life, and I feel like it's because I don't really know myself. - Can I read that again? - Did you get that? - Not really. - Can I have it? No, I'll read it again. - Matt, come on. - What would you say is the best way to find out about your, about what you want for yourself in this life? - This person's asking like, how do you find out what you want to do with your life? 'Cause I feel like I struggle with it. It's basically what you say. - I feel like it's just time. - I don't know, bro. - I need to read that again. Sorry. Matt. - Me, me, me, me. - Why? - How would you say the best way to find out more about yourself and what you want for yourself is? - I feel like it's honestly just like, with life, I feel like, obviously, I don't know it's weird because this person's saying it feels like they're, they're talking about it. - This person's trying to answer - I feel like this person relates. - In a unanswerable question that everyone on this earth feels at one point. - I feel like Matt is big on that. - What? - You always, over the years, would tell me like, I just don't know what I want to do. - Well, I always told you I feel like I have no personality. - Yeah, and you always talked about how you didn't know what you wanted to do. - Yeah. - This is a great question. - Give it to me. Okay, that's what I'm going to actually speak. - No, I'm going to speak, and I will speak, and I'm passionate about this type of stuff. So I will speak very passionately. - Wow. - Amazing. - With me, in having mental issues since I was about 11 years old, and spending most of my childhood, middle school, and high school years, in therapy things, in different counseling, and stuff like that, it tends to become such like a schedule thing, where I felt like every day I was waking up to go and do these counseling things, to make myself better for the next day that I have to wake up, and I never felt like I was waking up to be myself. I felt like I was constantly in the move to try and get to this end goal of who I actually am without these anxieties and without these mental issues that I'm going through. That was constantly the end goal, and every day you wake up before that, is just working towards that. And it's not until recently that it takes a lot to realize that what you're going through in your life and who you want to become hand-happened, the same time that you're going through mental issues, and you don't have to, just because you're having anxieties and depressions doesn't mean that you can't spend time to figure out who you are and who your personality is, while coping with different things like that. So figuring out what I want for my room, figuring out a different music taste than the one I've had my entire life, just like all that type of stuff, it will just happen naturally, and then it will also help you with your mental health finding that, but you can't force anything like this, it's just something that will happen over time, and it took me seven years, so. - I would also say, like, finds friends that like the same stuff you do that you can feel comfortable around. And even if you start to find yourself by writing down like 10 things you like every day, it could be as simple as like apples fucking. - It's normal to not know what it was. - It's really normal to not know what you like, 'cause sometimes I have a playlist of music that isn't music that Nick and Chris listen to, and I'll play it sometimes, and I'll literally sit there, and I'll think, am I really enjoying this music or am I forcing myself to enjoy this music to have a different personality than the one that is my music taste when I'm just listening to Nick and Chris's music? Is there something that I really want to understand that? Is it something I really want as an individual or am I forcing this individual narrative that I need to have a different music taste because it's something that I feel like, I don't have an individual part of me. - It seems to be like the best solution just to chill and be yourself. - The best solution is really like, as much as sucks is really just more time alone. 'Cause I feel like living as a triplet and also trying to figure out who myself is, you don't have enough time to really understand who yourself is, because you're influenced by decisions 24/7. - So just understanding who you are and literally spend an hour trying different foods by yourself, listening to different music by yourself, watching TV shows by yourself, just to figure out what it is that you like with nobody else around you, making these decisions for you. - I agree. Kids ate down all the time. - No, we're going back to what you were saying too, 'cause you're having friends that have, like if you surround yourself with the bunches of different people, eventually one of them may inspire something that you find within yourself that you care about. You know, there's things I haven't been interested in until someone showed them to me, and now it's one of my biggest big dreams. - I agree. - And it's also some kind of yourself with people that really pull things that you like. Like Sam? - My friend Sam is the best at that shit. Like whenever I'm with Sam, I feel motivated and I feel like eager, say what Brandon like, to just do shit, you know what I mean? - That's why I feel like having friends for like a period of time is like a really, really cool thing, because it's like I feel like people always speculate that like friendships have to like last forever. - Last forever, like come to an end, or like they feel like they have to come to the shitty end or like you hate each other for like all of eternity, but sometimes someone's in your life just to teach you something about yourself and then they're out of it. And it's like that's why it's like it's so, it's so comforting to me knowing that like sometimes like there's friendship friends that I don't have anymore. I mean there's friends that I don't know yet that exist on this earth that I might be friends with for only eight months. And then they will teach me something new that like can little lead to like the way I think for the rest of my life. - Yeah, I also feel like I always use music 'cause it's something that everybody listens to or most people listen to, if you listen to music on your free time and you're just in silent, kind of weird. But I feel like I always use music because it's like Chris will show me a song I'm using Chris as an example, not Nick because me and Chris have similar music taste. But I always use this as an example 'cause Chris will show me a song and then I'll be like, it depending on my mood, I'll be like either shut that shit off or I love that song. And sometimes it takes me to ask Chris what that song is and then listen to it alone and listen to the lyrics more and being more depth about it by myself to figure out, wow, I really do like that song. Then when it was played in a group like two hours ago. So it's like, I've just like listening to shit with an open mind and like when you're by yourself you're always gonna have a different perspective what it is that you like and influence. - It's kind of like when you sleep. It's like giving yourself time to register what you just experienced, like while you're awake. Like if you take a full half hour at the end of the day to kind of just think about what you experienced during the day, it could change a lot of your perspectives on everything. - Yeah. - For sure. - Even if you had a terrible day, sometimes I find myself arguing with like three people and then having a terrible day and then sitting there. Instead of thinking about like sometimes it's good to think about yourself in a negative light and like what you can like work on that people taught you. - Yes, I agree. - In that argument, was that too mean? In this situation did I say my opinions like to be able to learn from your own mistakes? - Yes. Someone's like, how the fuck do you find your own style? You just keep putting on different clothes until you can feel the most confident, really? - Yeah. - Trial and error. - Or see who you like in their style. - I suck it too. - Like I never, I said this the other day in a unreleased car video, I think, that I fucking didn't own jeans to like two years ago, which is pretty ridiculous. - Also comfort over what I looked like was huge for me for a while in my life over just like, oh, even though these sweatpants are some crazy pattern, I don't like even though they're really comfortable sweatpants I'll wear the crazy pattern because I'm just comfortable in them. But then you realize that like what you look like is also like a comfortability factor as well. - Yeah. 'Cause my vibe can change through the day depending on what I want to believe in. - Sometimes I want to look like country boy and then sometimes I want to look like big lumberjack and then sometimes I want to just like country boy, big lumberjack. - The best example also is being fully comfortable in what you're wearing and like comfortable in yourself and like everyone being aware of that. Like me and Chris have like some levels of like the opposite fashion sense where sometimes I'll leave my room and Chris will be like, that's ugly and I'll be like, perfect, I'm wearing it. - No, me and Nick always do that shit where like, we'll be shopping. I'm like, holy shit, this is hideous. I got to show Nick 'cause he want to buy it like literally. - Or like I'll find something I'd be like, wow, I'd never buy this. I need to show Chris because we have such opposite sides of the spectrum of like clothing. - But then you get that. - But it makes it cool to be like, feel like whenever I'm around Nick, my fit just feels better. Like you know what I mean. - No and the thing is too when Chris, when I put on something and Chris could be like, oh, don't buy that, that's ugly or like, don't wear that, that's ugly. I feel more confident going out in that because it's more of who I am because Chris doesn't like. - Same other way vice versa. And it's never like a hateful thing. - Correct. - Like when Chris tells me, I feel like what I'm wearing is ugly. I feel better about wearing it out than I would if he said you. - And it's not a very frequent thing. - Not mean about it. - Not at all. - Okay, next, I'm gonna read another. - No. - Yeah, I'm stupid. - Oh, you mean that. - Nick, I'll walk out of the podcast. - Oh, first ever serial trip of the walk out episode 10, Chris leaves the own podcast. - You're ridiculous. - Did you spill that? - I'm like, as you say. - Oh, we probably got like 10 more minutes in us. How do you pick what you actually want to do with your life? Because I have four different dream jobs. It's crazy. Trial and error, live in your learn. - Oh, I thought you were still reading. - Sorry. - No, I did too. Trial and error, live and learn, and figure out what you really, really want because I know that even though you want, you might, like, or like even if you like all four, just test them all out. - Yeah, I'm gonna say do the ball. - The crazy thing is. - It's too small if you can. - Crazy thing is you might not even end up doing one of those four. - Yeah, I say do them all because like for me, there's so many, like, like being a YouTuber and like being a social media creator. Like we are blessed with the following that we have that we are in a point in our life for like we can experience, put your foot down. - No, we are in a point in our life where we can experience so many different things in trial and error, different parts of our lives and things that we want to do. So, like, it's kind of just like, you can do all of those at once. That's like, you're gonna have to train yourself, like yeah, you can do everything. - Just thought of that. - Yeah. - Like, no, like, you might have like our car video, vlog, car video, starting, you could say like our Boston era is over and I'm so happy about that, you know what I mean? - I hate when people say that. - No, yeah, me too. But like, that was a stage of time. - I hate when people say, I miss the Boston triplets. - What do you miss? The fact that I was fucking uglier and making this corner your jokes? - No, what do you miss? - No, do you like that I had a side part? - No, that's genuinely what drives you like that I feel about when I was talking about earlier sweatshirts. - Like, being in the past. - What did you miss? - About being in the past. - You like that I drove a different dance? - I don't like, like, what that means is like, when people say like, oh, I missed the past about like what we were doing, it genuinely feels like, like, it makes me halt the progress that I made myself. - If I'm not here for a moment in time, I'm here to live life and for the journey. - Next person say they, like-- - Last one everyone. - No, no. - Next person say they like miss something. - I'll sit in your wall. - I'll sit in and say they miss like an old, like, oh, it's okay, it's why I'm missing. - I'm leaning on Matt. - No, you're not. - No, you're not. - Matt, how to work things out. - Thank you guys for watching. - Oh, perfect one, perfect one to wrap it up. How to work things out with your sibling. I'm in a really rough type of a play sister and I just want to be friends with her, but I cannot handle her right now. But I want to be the best older sister I can and have a good relationship with her. - It's all about common interests. - It is. - We're like, me, Matt and Chris did not get along when we were younger because we did not have a common interest and I did not like hockey when I was younger, but I put an effort into liking hockey. My friends played hockey and me, Matt and Chris grew a better relationship because of the things that we had common interests in. - And just talk it out. - Be nice, that's your sister. You're going to be your sister's for your whole life, so be aware of that, be kind. - If you guys both pretend to care about what the other one cares about at an equal pace, you will have a friendship forever. - That helps the siblings before the end of that. - Awesome, good job. That is when they cut the camera episode this week. - What would you guys really briefly say your life is like off camera based off what we talked about today? - Shae, I don't know. - Matt. - You got to have one because you're like the mental health advocate. - I'd say, I think it's constructive. I think we're all really constructive when we work well together. - I would say, like, what's a word for living and learning? Like, trial and error? - Yeah, that was the same thing. - Yeah. - But that's it. - You live in your large, it's just that's it. Shut up, kid. - Wow. - Go ahead. - No. - Okay, I'm having a rough spot with my brother. I need the viewers advice for what to do with his goon. - What should I do? And my brother sits across from me and I really think he should comb his hair but I've already told him twice today. It's a really tough situation to be in 'cause I don't want to bring up combs and brushes again but I feel like I just have to. - Bye. - Peace out. - Should she say that about the kisses? Is that weird? - She doesn't care, she presses send. This is the love story of real hinged couple, Daniel and Rochene, written and read by me, Ruby Thorpe. Listen to the free audiobook now. Summary:

FAQs

It's normal to feel anxious, but school friendships often evolve. You'll likely make new connections in classes, and the experience of being with friends outside of school is often more meaningful than classroom time.

If you're gathering personal information about someone without their consent, that's inappropriate. Instead, build confidence and take direct action—introduce yourself to them in person. True connection starts with real interaction, not online obsession.

If a friend is invading your privacy and making you uncomfortable, it’s important to set boundaries. You don’t have to stay in a relationship that harms your mental health. It's okay to walk away, especially if they're not respecting your space.

Post it anyway. Early videos get very few views, and the first step is just to take action. If you're unsure, share it with trusted friends first. The act of posting builds confidence and proves to yourself that you can do it.

If someone is no longer treating you with respect or causing you stress, it’s okay to end it. Friendships should be healthy and supportive. If one person is draining your energy, it’s better to let go than to stay in an unhealthy dynamic.

Real friends don’t judge you for who you are or change their behavior just to benefit from your actions. Fake friends only care about what you do that serves them, and they may disappear when you grow or change.
