I'm a software expert specialized in integration systems. Exactly. By entering a little more into the specific, Enrico, you can say in simple words that this is a fundamental thing. What does an IT data architect do? An IT data architect is a professional figure that now exists in numerous companies. Currently, regardless of the type, regardless of what the companies do, almost all of them now have an IT data architect. An IT data architect is a professional figure that deals with data management and data that are produced by systems within the company. I'll give you a small example. Within a manufacturing company, there are machines that produce something. We think of a life, a hammer, a physical object. These machines produce numerous data. Normally, these data must be channeled, governed by other systems. These data are based on financial systems, market approval systems, and so on. The IT data architect is able to manage and manage these communication methods. These data are produced by these machines versus other machines and provide the best communication channels possible for all these systems. Enrico, would you like to ask yourself, in what technology have you specialized? I've specialized for more than 20 years with Microsoft technology. I was born as a Microsoft consultant, a Microsoft developer. During my career, I became a system integration expert on Microsoft technology. Now, as an IT architect, I use Microsoft Cloud. In other words, an IT data architect should be able to have skills in other types of cloud, such as AWS, GCP, and so on. And in terms of Rafa, it's not a technical term but it's an interesting term. We have to do this with all these different cloud. I'd like to ask you, what are the main challenges facing your work? Well, as it is now, in my daily life, it's mainly about dialogue, systems, and a lot of their heterogeneity. This is a big challenge because, above all, manufacturers tend to not have a very good technological development. Therefore, they are based on data protocols. This is a big challenge for me because, on the other hand, the manufacturing systems and online systems are the same as the technological developments. So, talking about these different generation systems is very challenging. It's complicated. It's complicated, challenging, but once you acquire the know-how, it's a big challenge. Sure. So, I'd like to ask you, how does your role change with the evolution of technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud? It has changed a lot in the past. I started working in 1998. For example, there we used to have internet networks, especially in industrial fields, and since then, the integration systems, such as today's work, have changed. There are so many different images. Artificial intelligence, in recent years, is taking place practically in the technological evolution, and the more data is produced, the more artificial intelligence we have. At the moment, there is a new big hand, but it will always be more fundamental, because now a machine, for example, of elaboration, produces data of the order of a few centimeters in time, which can be a millisecond, a microsecond. Having to perform software systems that elaborate this amount of messages is not simple. Artificial intelligence is giving us a big hand to do this elaboration, and the more we move forward, the more the data will be produced massively, the more the artificial intelligence will be fundamental for us to be able to elaborate this big amount of data. Well, Enrico, I like that you don't denigrate artificial intelligence. No, absolutely not. Now we are a bit afraid, maybe because there is also little information. Artificial intelligence is something that is coming into our lives, which is taking place in our lives more and more. Of course. We can't do less than this. Therefore, it is up to us to face this change in a positive way. Of course, that's right. How about collaboration with other parties, like business development? It's important, because the fact that data is always produced, and we need to elaborate this big amount of data as quickly as possible, means that there must be a change between different parties, as much as possible profit. As a consequence, I, who am at IT in Information Technology, the marketing department behaves that we must speak for strength, to understand the problems of each other. Ok. And therefore it is absolutely fundamental. In fact, I will tell you more, the less there is this exchange of information, the worse it is for the company. It will always be like this. So it is more complicated, let's say, if there is no such exchange. Well, it's not just complicated. It is the productivity of the company, because the systems that will be made will be like monkeys, because the various departments must dialogue between them, and we must above all find a common language, which is not said to be IT or marketing, but we must find a common language to be able to exchange information, to be able to elaborate the data better than their goals. Ok, Enrico. So, would you like to ask what advice would you give to a young person who wants to learn, maybe this career, similar to yours? Well, I give a little advice on everyone. What to study is above all to be passionate about technology, not to see technology as a limit. And vice versa, to be passionate about technology, to study, to do the tests, but above all to have the opportunity to make mistakes. Because the more you make mistakes, the more you understand the technology. And above all to make the term "artistic" also the concept of technology. Because, however, to know how to manage data, to know how to work in L&T, in my opinion, is a big artistic component, which, in my opinion, now few people see it. That's true. I like this image that you gave at the end of this interview, as something artistic, imagine technology as something... Look, when I developed software, I considered myself an aesthetic of software, because I was trying to make a software that was nice to read from another programmer. In some cases I was, I received compliments in this sense. Even if the main purpose of software is to make things work. Sure. But making the software even more beautiful in writing it, visibly.
