205: Encore: The Roast of Savannah Chrisley (feat. Matt Mathews)
49m 32s
Matt Matthews gained viral fame through unfiltered, humorous content from his farm chores and boudoir photography, which later evolved into a successful stand-up comedy career. After being banned from TikTok for adult content, he shifted to sharing personal, authentic stories about his upbringing in rural Alabama—marked by poverty, family struggles, and being the only gay kid in the projects. His comedy blends raw honesty with sharp, often self-deprecating roasts, designed to make audiences laugh during difficult times. He emphasizes that his jokes are lighthearted, not malicious, and that true connection comes from vulnerability, not offense. Matt avoids comparing himself to other comedians to maintain self-esteem and creative freedom. His journey reflects resilience, humor as a coping mechanism, and a deep belief in the power of laughter to break down emotional barriers. He shares personal anecdotes about failed relationships, financial insecurity, and dating missteps, all while promoting wellness brands and advocating for emotional honesty. His shows are rooted in real experiences, making his content both relatable and deeply human. Through humor, authenticity, and unapologetic self-expression, Matt has built a loyal audience that finds joy and connection in his storytelling.
Welcome back to this week's episode of Unlocked.
You probably have a different intro than what you're used to
because I feel like I've just signed up to get my feelings hurt today.
But we have Matt Matthews on.
I'm so excited because I love following him on social media,
his videos, his humor, everything is absolutely hilarious.
And I really don't find comedians that funny.
So that's a compliment to you just in case.
Thank you, Paula Deen. I get it.
See, that's such a. I love it. I love it.
Okay, so for people that don't know who you are,
what's like your pitch?
What's my pitch?
Yeah.
What is this, a damn TV show?
I mean, I guess you people found me from Farm Chores, you know, doing the. What's that?
Did you not find. Did you never seen those?
Farm Chores? I know you're a farmer, right?
Where the hell has she. I know where she's. Wait, what?
She's been out in these streets.
Oh, wait.
Most of your. Oh, yeah, where you're yelling at animals.
But I didn't. I thought that was like a show.
Baby, you're as dumb as you look.
My God.
I thought it was like a show you were talking about, Farm Chores.
You're slow, ain't you?
I think. I kind of say I am sometimes.
Okay, so basically in 2020 is when my life kind of exploded on the internet
from doing Farm Chores in a bathrobe and cussing out my chickens, right?
I didn't see that.
So that's where things started.
Then comedy kind of happened.
That exploded.
What were you doing?
What happened before that?
I was a boudoir photographer.
You were?
I saw you post about that.
Okay, so that was like your whole. That's what you've been doing for how long?
Which part?
The photography.
Because I've been out here shaking my titties for a long time, okay?
I've been out here doing it for a while.
How old are you?
32.
Oh, yeah.
So you see, you're still a baby.
How old are you?
28.
Yeah.
I'm younger.
You don't look it, but it's fine.
Okay, so photography.
And farm chores.
Yeah.
That's where. So, okay, so what happened. What was the one video that kind of went viral that you started getting a ton of followers?
Okay, so it went viral first for boudoir.
Because I was photographing a client.
People were like. As a boudoir photographer, my goal was to make people feel beautiful.
Yeah.
You know, show people that it wasn't your weight that determined your self-worth.
And it was okay to feel beautiful in your skin and in your body.
And body positivity, really.
And so I was photographing a client.
And I've always just been like this ridiculous. I'm a person, right?
Oh, yeah.
Girl, don't make me hurt your feelings.
And so I was photographing this client.
And it, like, blew up on the internet.
It got, like, 12 million views, I think.
Holy cow.
And I started getting all these followers.
And why did that blow up specifically?
Just because. So what I was doing was I had a client laying on the floor.
And I was, like, telling her, like. The pose that I was trying to get her to do was what we called the titty crusher.
And I was like, bring your knees up underneath you.
And she couldn't figure it out.
And I was like, girl. Girl, damn.
And so I picked her butt up.
And I was like, just leave your butt right there.
And people were like, I want to shoot with you just because of your personality.
And you're so crazy and blah, blah, blah.
Well, then TikTok started deleting all of my videos for adult content.
And I'm like, are you kidding me?
Like, they don't even show anything.
People out here really showing their whole labia.
And you have a problem.
Literally, I posted a video of Grayson as a baby, like, singing.
And he had on a pair of underwear.
And they flagged it for porn.
Yeah.
Like, you've got to be kidding me.
It is crazy.
So I was like, all right, well, let's pivot.
So is you going to pay attention to me?
Who the fuck is you talking to?
I had to put it on do not disturb.
It kept vibrating.
This is the rudest damn host I have ever. Cut the damn show.
I'm going home.
Continue.
So. It kept vibrating in my crotch.
Hello?
Shit.
So I. Vibrating in your crotch.
You're nasty.
Oh, crusty self.
So I pivoted, right?
And I was like, all right.
So they're deleting everything that I'm posting.
And I had a big account at that point.
I was like, I don't want to. Shut up.
Damn.
What's funny?
Just looking at you is funny.
I know this bitch ain't talking about me.
I know this shit ain't talking about me.
I don't know what's going on.
You're trying to say I look funny?
No, I just don't know what's going to come out of your mouth next.
Have you looked at yourself, Savannah, with that white eyeliner and going to tell me I look funny?
Don't shit on my white eyeliner.
Dang.
Okay, you pivoted.
Hey, preface.
Preface.
Before this started, she told me to roast her.
So don't be talking about Matt is so mean on the internet because she wanted it.
I told him, you know, the last podcast I did with a comedian.
He roasted me.
He roasted me and it turned out great.
I didn't say, like, you know, bury me, but I did say, you know.
Have I been worse?
Oh.
Okay.
Continue.
Oopsie.
Oh, you're so beautiful.
Thank you.
That eye shadow is so flattering on you and it really brings out the fake bronzer that you got on.
It just looks very nice.
Thank you.
Them cubic zirconium earrings are just very. I do not wear cubic zirconium earrings.
Now, that's something I will not let you say about me.
You will not go there.
Not go there.
Okay, so you got banned from TikTok, essentially.
Basically.
And I had, like, developed this big page and I was like, I don't want to lose all of these followers that I built, right?
So I pivoted.
And I was like, all right, I'm going to start showing my personal life of me on the farm.
And I really do be out there in a robe because I don't like to wear clothes.
So I put on a robe and my best friend was like, let me film you because you were just ridiculous.
And so she films me and that video got, like, 17 million views.
I gained, like, over a half a million followers overnight.
And I was like, what in the hell is happening?
And people were like, you make me laugh in a really dark time.
I haven't laughed like that in a long time.
This made me feel good.
That is so true.
And that is what, in all seriousness, that is what made me feel like, okay, I'm able to make people feel good.
Yeah.
And that's what's really important to me.
And I'm able to make people laugh in a time that they are probably sitting at home and they're not laughing.
And so during COVID, I just kept. putting out content and it just continued to blow up. And everybody was like, Matt,
you have to be a comedian. And I was like, I had no desire to be a comic. I grew up wanting to do
music. You know, I never wanted to do comedy, but I always wanted to be an entertainer. And so I was
like, okay, well I'll try comedy. And I tried comedy and it blew up. I signed with an independent
agent for my very first tour. I sold out my very first tour, never doing comedy, selling over
150,000 tickets on my first tour. Holy cow. Yeah. So how did you come up with your content for these
shows? So my very first show, my very first tour that I did was basically my life. It was kind of
introducing an audience to who I am as a comic and as a person, um, and just as a human being.
And so it was kind of my life, you know, growing up in the projects of Bessemer, Alabama and
government housing, the only white gay kid in the projects, like that's a struggle. Right. And so,
and I lived with an,
I had an alcoholic mom, my siblings were addicts. So it was, there's a lot of content there,
you know, and times like that, you have to somewhat utilize your humor just to get through
the day. Yeah. Well, and they always say that comics, the best comics have gone through a lot
of trauma and it's the absolute truth. So I just kind of introduced people who I was
up to now, you know, and it was kind of my life growing up being this gay kid in the projects,
moving into a trailer park with my dad when I was nine years old. And,
and just kind of how I thought that that was going to be like meeting my husband and, and kind of
getting me to where I am today. And that tour was just wildly successful. It was incredible. And it
really kind of gave me my footing of who I was as a comic and how I was going to, you know, have a
long lasting career. And then I started my second tour, which was basically what my life had been
like on tour. Um, and that, that tour is called bougie on a budget. So it talks about, you know,
like the things that I've gone through in my life, like, you know, like, you know, like, you know,
in, you know, as a touring artist and being on the road and like, you know, things that you think
are really bougie because we're out here in the industry and we're out here making people laugh
and we're selling tickets and we have millions of followers, but it's a struggle out here. Like
it's not, it's not. So like, for example, I talk about, I get real tired of flying commercial,
right. And like, I cannot deal with Delta no more. And people putting their boogers on the seats
and just like, I can't, and people are out here showing that.
They damn natural ass on this. I mean, showing a whole natural ass and I can't do it. So I decided
that I was going to manifest a private plane. Okay. Bitch, I was broke, you know? So I'm like,
I'm going to manifest it because if I manifest it, it'll happen. I believe in the power of
manifestation, right? Putting positive things out, positive things come back to you. So I manifested
a private plane, but there's a difference in like energy coming back and then like a $7 million
plane coming back.
You know what else is the difference? A private plane and a private jet, two very different
things. I manifested the wrong shit, Savannah. I manifested a private plane, not a private jet.
It's not the same thing.
What came into your. A private plane. It had one propeller.
Oh, that flight should have taken one hour from Birmingham to Florida, where my show was. That
flight took nine hours and 82 minutes. It was the most traumatic shit I have ever experienced in my
life.
Did you have more private planes?
No, hell no.
No?
Uh-uh. I thought I was about to go down like Amelia Earhart.
so now i just get on my little bus and i'm on my business okay see that's but that's the thing like
it is it is really a thing of like i am the cheapest bitch on the planet well that's the
only way you can like i'm so cheap i don't spend no money why cause i'm scared to be i'm scared
of being poor again yeah i grew up so poor that i am terrified of being poor again so i don't spend
money for that reason so where do you live now birmingham birmingham okay yeah so we're literally
like i'm leaving here and going to tuscaloosa for what well grayson goes to university of alabama
oh yeah so i'm going to host an event there well you're gonna drive right by my house so okay you
live in birmingham would you ever leave no well i don't know i just built my beautiful dream home
i just bought 104 acres so i don't have and i'm like you know i'm also
you know i'm also not a big fan of the city of burmingham i'm not a big fan of the city of burmingham
i'm also not a big fan of the city of burmingham i'm also not a big fan of the city of burmingham
i'm also not a big fan of the city of burmingham
so i'm like two hours from nashville yeah so it's easy to just drive here okay i still can't get over
your private plane manifestation well you really manifested that one i did and i manifested the
wrong shit you have to be very specific in your manifestations you can't just be out here
willy-nilly manifesting anything because it will come back to bite you in that yes it will so at
your shows i see you kind of like you roast on people has there ever been a time where you've
done it and it's backfired on you because what they're gonna do fire me i already got that damn
money so like what are they what are really they gonna do get up and leave it kills me though like
when people want to be like they really they're ready for it they're prepared and they will like
get up in the middle of the show and they'll walk right across the front just so i get their
attention just so they get my attention so that i'll roast them that is hilarious and this lady
the other night i played graceland the other night okay and this lady walked right across the front
and she had on her phone and she was like i'm gonna do this and i'm gonna do this and i'm gonna do this
like this dollar general looking jumpsuit and it had chickens all over it and she and i told her i
said you look you look like a cabbage patch kid like what the are you wearing and she got so
offended and so hurt and i was like bitch you walked in front of me on purpose on purpose when
you should have been sitting you should have had your big ass in that seat but here you are
trotting across the front of the fucking rose and who that was an actual outfit yeah she really wore
that they wear some crazy shit to my shows
if you've ever watched an episode of this podcast you've already seen my article pieces the couch i

that it was theirs to use for the night so now i have a ton of them because honestly that's the

soft faux fur with a little stretch to it so it's just not like any blanket you've ever had you can

thing when you've been on tour like that what's a memorable moment where either you really got
somebody good like funny or like serious funny funny funny something really like you called
somebody out one time for like sleep
with somebody or well that's all the time yeah probably there was one that i remember was really
funny it looks like there's a pubic hair on this all of the security the woman oh ellen degeneres
yeah we had a little old lady secure that's that's some real up shit what they will have
these old ass decrepit ladies as my security i'm like what are y'all about to do like truly you
look like ellen degeneres what the hell are you gonna do to me i'm gonna be like i'm gonna be like
if somebody gets up and storms this stage right now and i had a i had a sold-out show in louisiana
and they had this little girl i swear to god she was every bit of 100 pounds sitting right in front
of the stage glasses had this like headband on and back bright i said matilda what the are you
gonna do if somebody gets up here and tries to come on this stage truly what are you gonna do
i would love to know because i don't feel safe i don't feel and she i said why do you do security
she said it's easy
i said okay i feel real safe right now yeah that's the type of shit they give me that i would that's
kind of alarming have you had any crazy situations with people like crazy stalker situations not like
crazy stalkers they knock on my bus a lot like they'll like find my bus and knock on i did one
time this man knocked on my bus at midnight i think he was trying to get a little coochie you
know because like i said what are you
why is he knocking on my door and we have a camera you know so like we could see out there
i'm like don't open that damn door because i will be like martha stewart fighting for my
virginity and i'm telling you do not do not because don't open that damn door people are
i've had people try to sneak backstage um and you have ellen degeneres and then i have ellen
degeneres as my now sometimes i get some fine security you know sometimes sometimes they do
no and when they do me right jesus jesus i'm dying okay so what does your husband do uh he manages
all my merch on the road okay like he goes and sets up merch and does that whole because that's
a whole that's a whole that's a whole job in itself yes so he handles all of that and thank
god does a good job at it because my god thank god does a good job yeah because that's a lot
that's a that's a
that really is though yeah merch at shows is i mean it's huge and it's great because like i have
a pop-up shop at my shows so you know most artists when you go to a show they just have like a couple
t-shirts a hoodie whatever um but we have because i have my candle line and i have a store and i
have things like that we kind of bring like a pop-up shop at my shows oh that's so we have
candles and we have robes and we have backpacks and and shirts and like we have everything stop
that is amazing it's a lot it's a lot so who in the like comics
space do you look to for inspiration nobody because they don't like me they don't like you
why i mean i don't really think it's because they don't like me i also just don't like nobody
yeah probably yeah i don't talk to nobody i stay in my lane you know i stay in my lane i don't
fucks with nobody because number one you probably understand this it's very difficult to find
friends yes number one just to be an adult and find friends is hard it's very hard very
hard but to be an adult in the entertainment industry and find friends is even harder because
no one wants you to be more successful than them correct no one yeah and if they're not in the
industry it's hard to be friends because you don't trust them yep and then nobody is truly
genuinely nice you know like people just people will use you to do videos there's been some
bitches that i thought i was friends with in this industry that i really thought like we're good
friends like i would ride for them yeah and all they would do is just like i would ride for them
do is use you like they'll want to do videos with you to get video get views and clout and then when
they don't need you they're done you know and that's how that's where our worlds come to and
i'm just not i i don't fuck with a lot of people because of that and i just say to myself i don't
have very many friends at all but if i'm your friend i'm your ride or die yeah you know what
i mean like i i'm gonna do whatever i can to like support you and be a good friend and if i don't
- That's where I'm at in life right now.
- I just don't see the point of being fake.
You know?
Well, no, because it also everything done in the dark always comes to light.
Everything.
So all the fakery going on, I'm like, uh-uh.
The ugly men, y'all.
We all find out about it.
We know.
We know.
So there, like, when it comes to comedians, is there anyone that you would go and watch?
I love Cat Williams.
Okay.
I love Dave Chappelle.
Never watched Dave Chappelle.
You're lying.
I've never watched Dave Chappelle.
Not one time.
Okay, that, you're going home, and that's crazy.
You're watching that this weekend, and then you're going to text me and tell me you watched it.
Honestly, I don't watch a lot of comedy, or really any comedy.
And there's a reason, not because I don't think other comics are talented, because I do,
but I am, I will very much compare myself to other people.
Yeah.
And I truly believe that comparison is the thief of joy.
Amen.
And if you compare yourself to people, then I'll tear myself down, and I'll think I'm
not good enough, and I didn't do a good enough job, or they did this better than I did.
So I try to avoid watching comedy, or watching stand-up comedy, because I don't want to compare
myself to other people.
That makes sense, though.
I've never had it put that way.
And in this industry, it's also very, people are quick to be like, oh, well, you stole
their joke.
Yeah.
Or you did this, and they are, you know what I mean?
So I'm like, not a hell of a deal.
Because I ain't never seen it.
I ain't never seen it.
Never seen it.
That's a good way to put it, though.
I've never thought of it like that.
But that makes sense.
I mean, they're probably not trying to be like you, but I mean, so you don't got to
worry about that.
No, I don't have to worry about that.
But, you know, for me.
People want to be like you.
They do.
So it's, I mean, it's hard out here.
I'll try to, maybe I'll start watching your stuff.
Maybe.
You should.
You should.
Maybe.
But, you know, I don't want to get intimidated.
It's hard.
It's hard out here.
Now it's like going.
I've been going through my mind videos I've seen, and it's pretty hysterical, just like
how you've done it.
But it's so crazy how organically you've done it.
Do you know what's funny to me?
What?
Is how many people ask if we're related?
Stop it.
The number of DMs and comments that I get asking if we're brother and sister or if I'm
Todd Chrisley's son.
I wish.
That's literally, or they'll comment, is this Todd Chrisley's son?
I'm like, no, bitch.
You should.
You should roast him.
That would be hilarious.
I should.
You should bring him to the show.
Yeah.
We should do like a full roast.
That would be.
The roast of Todd Chrisley.
Oh, yeah.
That.
Oh, I don't know if he's ready for that.
I don't know.
I feel like he would get his feelings hurt.
Yeah.
Does he get his feelings hurt?
Well, I brought it up to him one time about another comedian doing it.
And he's like, why would I sign up to be made fun of?
And I was like.
It's all in jokes.
It's all in jokes.
It's all in fun and games.
Here's the thing, too, is people think, you know, especially when I roast people on stage.
Yes.
Like, it's a joke.
It is part of a show.
Like, I'm genuinely not a mean person.
Yeah.
You're not.
You know what I mean?
Like, I wouldn't actually make fun of somebody or how they look or like any of those things
and genuinely mean it like mean hearted.
But what if they said, you know, what they say that like every joke has a little bit
of truth.
I mean.
Look, if your hair is that big and that bleached, I don't know what else you want me to say,
you know?
No.
In all honesty, I really do not like I ain't trying to get your head big, but I think you're
beautiful.
But, you know, I really don't mean when I'm when I roast people, I really don't mean that
like hurtful or, you know, now, if you're that sensitive, I feel like we're in a place
and I tell people this during my show, like my show, if you're a person that gets offended
is not for you.
No.

For me, the biggest shift wasn't just physical, it was finally feeling heard, supported, and
honestly cared for without shame.
I believe that we're in such a dark world that you have to learn to laugh about things.
You do.
And you have, people have to quit being so offended about everything and pull the stick
out of their ass and learn to laugh about stuff.
Yes.
Because if you just, if you can't laugh about dark situations or you can't laugh about things,
then you're gonna cry about it, right?
Yes.
And I think, you know, when you come to my show, it doesn't matter if you're black, if
you're white, if you're gay, if you're straight, you know, like I make fun of everybody.
Yes.
Like I tell people, I'm not part of the elemental peak community, you know, like I just, I make
fun of gay people, you know what I mean?
Yes.
Like I call myself derogatory terms on stage, you know what I mean?
Because it's not that deep.
It's not.
Thank you.
That's what I've said is like, you, we live in a world where everyone has to tiptoe now.
You have to tiptoe around everyone's feelings and everyone's this and that.
And I'm like, nine times out of 10, people aren't saying stuff to you to offend you.
Right.
It may offend you, but that wasn't their intention.
It's not their intentions to offend you.
If I offend you, that's not my problem.
Yeah.
Like I just, it's really not, you know, and you don't have a mean heart.
I don't.
And I love people.
I do.
I love people regardless of who you are, what your race is, what your political views are.
I love people.
And so it's like, if me making a joke as a standup comic offends you, then you're in
the wrong place.
Wrong place.
Because I'm not going to walk down the street and be like, Hey bitch, you look like
a Oompa Loompa.
Like, I'm not going to do that to just somebody.
I would have never sat down here and said all this stuff you had you not said, please
roast me.
Like, because I'm just not.
That's not who I am.
I technically didn't say that.
Aaron technically said.
She said it.
She said it.
Yeah.
Aaron.
Don't lie.
Liars go to hell.
Oh, shit.
I'll see you there.
You know what I mean though?
It's just, I'm not.
It's just like when mom and dad were gone, people would be like, how are your parents?
And I just, I find it funny.
Yeah.
When I got so tired of hearing it.
I would be like still in prison.
Exactly.
And that is funny.
And it's not.
Can I tell you?
Oh yeah.
No, I don't.
Yeah.
You can.
You can.
Now I want to.
Okay.
So I said this and this is, I think actually before like you and I had started talking
on the internet and I was like, I hope she realizes that I'm a comedian and I just meant
that funny.
Like I didn't mean it.
Oh God.
What did you say?
But I remember somebody was like, oh, this is Todd Chrisley or, oh, this is, uh, somebody
said something about, oh, I don't remember what it was.
They said something about me being Todd Chrisley.
I said, I don't know why y'all keep comparing me to Todd Chrisley.
I said, I guess he's cute and all, but damn, I paid my taxes and people just died, you
know?
And number one, I didn't know anything about what was going on.
So did I mean that truthfully or hurtfully?
No.
It's a joke.
You know?
And it made people laugh.
Thank you.
And I'm like, if you cannot take that.
There's a difference in making a joke out of something.
Yes.
Like you're making a joke out of something.
You're making a joke out of something.
Yeah.
Yeah.
hello if i just got out of prison i'd be making jokes about that shit too that's like my dad said
it's the only way you could survive any of that is like you've got to make jokes out of it you gotta
it just some people are just wild though some people just take it way too bad for those type
of people though because if you can't laugh about pain and you can't laugh there's there becomes a
time in life where you have to be able to laugh yeah pick up that false fan i'm gonna knock the
shit out of you if you she's like a crackhead over here
set a timer i try to stay damn she said get this bitch out of here she said if if you can't laugh
about stuff then you're in a constant state of turmoil oh without a doubt that's that's been
the hardest thing especially now in life i'm just like okay and then sometimes i laugh at stuff and
then it's like inappropriate to laugh and then i find myself in some bad situations it's also like
i mean we do have a little bit of a a little bit of a different pedestal being a stand-up comic you
know it's a little harder to to get canceled to get canceled yeah um but again you have to know
that like when you're doing stand-up you know like you're talking about things that are typically
not something that you're going to talk about yeah you know you're it is our job to talk about
the things that other people shy away from yes and to make it funny now there's things that i don't
talk about like things that just like because it doesn't matter obviously politics and religion i
don't i don't hit on them
those because people just too damn sensitive with those yes but it's also a sad time that we live in
that people can't touch on something and you believe what you believe i believe what i believe
whatever it may be is crazy have you ever made a joke like about whether it's like a couple and
you talk about like a husband screwing around or whatever and then it like was actually happening
yeah there was one time that there was a couple there was a couple and the husband had like gone
to the bathroom and she's sitting there with her and like her co-worker and i was talking about why
they're gone i was like oh yeah you know and the husband came back and he sat back down and i was
like just in case y'all know they in case you didn't know they and you can just see the panic
on her face she's like what no no it's like everybody is coming they're like they really
because you see her face when she said that and i was like maybe i shouldn't have stirred that up
yeah you know i know sometimes they're probably driving home and the conversations are just like
tense you really said that in him in front of him yeah yeah what what was your did you ever make a
joke about the whole jumbotron thing that happened um yeah i had a show there was a because one of my
shows recently they had like a screen that would show the audience that who i was talking to yeah
and there was a there was a couple and this lady had a ring on and i was like y'all married and
she was like no i said y'all f***ing
she was like you know i said wait you got a ring on and the guy was like man quit starting s***
i was like you came to my show and then it turned to find out like it was the ring was like
apparently her dead sister's ashes or something that passed away oh and i was like well make sure
you take that off when y'all be f***ing so your sister ain't a part of it because that would
really be you know a moment so that would really be a moment oh my god okay so we're going to go
what's coming up for you like are you do you are you on tour now where can people i'm still on tour
um i feel like i'm always on tour um i'm filming my special here in nashville at the ramen december
27 i will be there you'll be there if i'm not like in dubai or somewhere for new year's you get on my
damn nerves i really wanted to go to dubai and then from dubai to india india to singapore and
spend new year's eve in singapore
where is singapore on the map you don't even know spell dubai d-u-b-a-i is that right
spell singapore s-i-n-g-a-p-o-r-e wrong that's wrong that ain't how you spell it
she's worse at other things spelling yeah i'm pretty good at that
you can't drive i can drive nobody's died yet
i don't think i'd get in a car with you i'm fine maybe we should drive maybe we should go
like a dash cam and you just we just put the phone up and just film while we while i drive down the
road well the other day i had like a squirrel moment you can i can tell you have those a lot
yeah and i saw like a house and i was looking at it and then the person in the car with me was like
stop stop i almost ate the ass end of a truck in front of me well you know my friend kale can't
drive neither yeah she can't drive for shit really so we always do car convos like we call it car
convos with matt and kale where like we'll put the phone up yeah and we'll just talk about the
things that are happening in her life while she drives yeah and she kills us nine times like
she's almost killed us nine times out of ten but i mean it makes for really great content see it
does yeah see that's what we need to do you should get a place here in nashville
no too many people for me you could come to birmingham
you'll come do farm chores i am actually pretty good on the farm just saying
we'll put you in a robe let's do it let's do it we need to have like a what was the show
uh with paris hilton simple life simple life yeah we could do now i say i'm good with farm stuff but
like i just rode horses growing up and it was like equestrian riding okay i saw that episode of y'all
trying to ride them horses that no i can ride i can ride what about a barrel horse see because you
have barrel horses that that like like world world world qualifying barrel horses well so
again i did equestrian equestrian means horse dumbass yeah yeah i know but like i had somebody
that would kind of set things up for me and so you don't know how to saddle one on your no i do
know how to saddle one i do not do that but like i just it was a little more um less redneck what
are you trying to say baby them horses i got are worth a million dollars in my barn well that you
can be redneck and have money yeah that's there's a difference in being redneck and country bitch
what's the difference what's the difference she gonna keep on and i'm gonna knock them
crooked eyebrows off her head what is the difference rednecks don't got no teeth
oh i didn't know that yeah i was educated on that i mean they might
have some veneers like yours but they they typically don't got teeth you know country
people you don't consider yourself country person no i consider myself southern okay so like yeah
because you never grew you never lived like have you always lived like in a neighborhood yeah okay
you've never like had land no okay so yeah that's different i would rather i would rather be on
land like with nobody around well it's because you don't have a lot of friends probably yeah
yeah yeah but then how do you do these shows with all these people i'm i'm actually very much an
introvert i just i'm i'm good at performing oh so you just turn it on turn it off i like to think
i'm that way a lot like when i have to turn it on i turn it on but then i want to be by myself yeah
so do you think you'll ever have kids i don't really like kids really i don't i don't with kids
why because they're gross they get on my nerves they talk too much i don't like kids i don't like
much they stink i just don't like them little bastards what about does your husband want them
yeah so what are you gonna do i think we're gonna have to tell them that people in hell
want ice water don't mean they're gonna get it i'll take care of your kid oh hell no absolutely
the f**k not no i do a good job oh well you did have to raise yours because your family was in
prison yeah yeah that'll f**k them up that'll really do it hey and make sure you don't get
you strong it makes you strong how many did you raise i mean i didn't that two just for two and a
half years though oh just it was a pre-teen girl did you get did you get uh did you get paid for
that i need you to take it up with todd he didn't pay you for that no oh that's f**ked up yeah
that's pre-teen girl and a teenage boy i feel like he was probably easier he was a lot easier
he was an angel she was
oh moody yeah i'd probably not do kids if i were you yeah you want kids yeah oh that was quick
you got to find a man first you don't do well in that department what's that supposed to mean
i'm just i mean i'm just saying they just i just don't yeah i don't really pick too well sometimes
mm-hmm the last one ghosted me why i don't know the
day his divorce was final he ghosted why was you talking to somebody that was married well he oh
you a hoe no you a hoe you a homewrecking hoe no no they had already filed for divorce way before
we met then we dated two years you're gonna be upset the one that his wife allegedly tried to
off him in the bahamas remember the beauty queen the auburn no i don't follow you
you like that no you've seen it all over the internet have i look this one
why did he try to get murdered i mean he didn't try but he divorced her yeah and then okay here's
what i want hold on hold on hold on hold on a year and a half savannah you dumb as hell
dumb as hell gonna date somebody while they going through a divorce and the bitch tried
to kill him you dumb as hell she but she back probably killed your ass yeah it
See there?
Dumb.
You dumb for dick.
All that for a tallywhacker?
You could have found somebody else to give you a damn tallywhacker.
Somebody that wasn't going to have an ex-wife that was going to kill your stupid ass.
Yeah.
I didn't really.
I don't know what I was thinking.
My God.
I really don't know what I was thinking.
You give me stomach ulcers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The best part about him was his three kids.
Not going to lie.
I thought she was about to say the best part about him was his tallywhacker.
Well, I mean, I like to be very ladylike, but I wasn't complaining there either.
Well, you was going to be when she kills your ass.
I hope it was worth it.
I hope it was worth spinning around like a damn rodeo for that when you get your ass murdered.
On a damn carousel and murdered.
Dead.
That was not bright.
No.
Looking back, it probably wasn't.
It wasn't bright.
It's a good thing we weren't friends at that point because I'd have been.
I'd have told you the truth.
Yeah.
I feel like you need more people in your life to tell you the truth.
Oh, I think I've.
Yeah.
But now I think I've added one.
I'm a little scared of your truth.
It kind of scares me.
What's the other ones you dated?
So one died.
One almost got murdered.
I dated a basketball player.
How'd that work out for you?
Luke.
Holy one.
Well, no, I found out he was cheating on me on my birthday trip and I sent him packing
and I told him he could get on Delta Southwest American.
I didn't give an F, but he was going to get the hell out.
And so that happened.
One of these bracelets from him.
Why are you still wearing it?
Oh, because I'm not dumb.
It doesn't mean anything.
It's gold.
She said, I'm not dumb, but I dated a man that almost got murdered by his ex-wife before
they finished getting a divorce.
Oh, of course.
I'm not dumb.
Okay.
Yeah.
But so then he went back to like his high school girlfriend.
God bless them.
Who else did I date?
I don't know.
You want me to say the other ones?
I wanted to know.
Come on.
Who's the other people?
Big and old.
Big and old.
Oh, big and old.
Tell me.
Who else?
Uh-uh.
Don't skip on baskets like you.
I didn't date.
There's a difference in dating.
How old?
How old, Savannah?
I tend to like older people.
How old?
Bitch.
50?
They nutsack is wrinkly.
They have to take Viagra to even get it up.
They're normally.
You nasty.
They're normally successful.
You can find a young one that's successful, Savannah.
It seems like I'm having, yeah, that seems like a hard one.
Hard task.
What if we did a, what if we did a show where I was your matchmaker?
Oh, I don't know.
I don't know if I, ooh.
I bet I could find you a good one.
I've been married 11 years.
11 years?
No way.
Yeah.
Try me, ho.
And you've never cheated?
No.
What?
I did have a throuple one time, but that didn't work out real well.
Did you really?
Yeah.
Oh.
Not a good decision.
Who likes to share?
Mm-mm.
My husband don't mind.
I just can't do it.
No.
I'd get too jealous.
I'll end up on first 48.
Yeah, that's me.
That's me.
Who else did I date?
Old.
50 years old.
Was he rich?
Yeah.
Like how rich?
I mean, he had a plane.
A couple million or like?
He had a jet.
He had a jet.
Oh, damn.
Yeah.
Made him into, he had a jet.
Yeah.
See, it makes.
He needs another one.
It makes it better.
Makes it better.
I suck on a damn saggy ball sack for to get on a jet.
I'm telling you.
Let me tell you something.
I'll do some crazy shit for a jet.
Yeah.
What do you think's a healthy age?
You're 28?
Yeah.
35, 36.
Oh, no.
There is successful men that are that age, Savannah.
My last just turned 40 and he's not fully developed.
Is it because they're successful and have money or is it their looks?
No, I think.
I do like a more sophisticated looking man.
Because I feel like all the ones that you've dated have been young.
Yeah.
And that's, I think it's scarred me.
And I'm like.
Well, yeah, because you keep picking dumb ass.
Yes, because imagine, like somebody that's older is going to look at me like, oh my God,
you are the greatest thing in the world.
Okay.
I don't know that far.
They will.
They're going to think I'm just phenomenal.
Yeah.
Because they horny.
Hey.
Somebody needs to lock her up.
Oh, I think you need to be the one to go to prison.
No.
Oh, no, I don't.
I mean, I do look good in orange, but that's probably not for me.
It's not for me.
I did try a dating app one time.
Which one?
Uh, Raya.
What's that?
It's for like celebrities.
But let me tell you.
Who'd you find on there?
Let me tell you.
They were not, they, their verification process clearly is not that picky.
I went on.
It can't be good.
Cause they let you on there.
It's how screw you.
Anyways, I, this guy said he was a restaurant owner.
So I was like, I ain't no celebrity.
I know.
Right.
But I was like, you know what?
This is going to be good.
It's someone different.
It's not an athlete.
It's not a musician.
Like we're good.
Let's try this.
Well, I met him at a place that I go to frequently.
So I was like, this is someone online.
It could be the Craigslist killer fraud.
Now I'm like, so I'm like, I'm not going to go to Craigslist killer fraud.
I went to a place I always go to and he pulls up and I'm not judging a book, but it's covered
by any means.
I was just like, okay, you know, pulls up, gets out of his car and he had to like put
his key in the door to lock it.
Oh, what a broke bitch.
I was like, okay, this is humble.
This is okay.
We like this.
And then we sit down.
He's not, he lied.
He's not a restaurant owner.
He's a manager at a restaurant.
Oh shit.
And then.
And then he starts, he was like, so what's your story?
I was like, I was engaged.
He was like, well, I'd never be engaged to you.
And I was like, oh, okay.
And then he had me pay for the meal.
That's what you get for being a celebrity.
That had me pay for the meal.
And then had the nerve to text me and say, that was great.
Would love to do it again.
I bet you would, you broke bitch.
You got a damn meal out of me.
See.
It's rough out here.
You need to quit choosing these men.
You need to let me choose them.
It's rough.
Send to me, start sending me the bios, the pics, like all of it.
Let me actually, you know what we could do?
What?
Let's make a profile and let me run it.
Let me like talk to them.
Let me dating you.
Yeah.
And then you'll show up if I approve.
Okay.
I like that.
Yeah.
See your shit is so up.
You got Nats in here.
Close your damn legs, Savannah.
Shit.
I cannot.
Okay.
Your rhyme and date.
How can people get tickets to that?
December 20th.
Oh, they can't.
Well.
One of the shows is sold out.
The other one has a handful of tickets left, but not many.
