Obviously, we got our bigger show on Sunday night, full reaction on Sunday night, but this coming week is so loaded, and we're going to go ahead and be looking ahead on the Sunday night show that I wanted to get some of this out. So look, here's what we're going to do. It's very free-flowing. I got no one here. Savannah State's upstairs. Put a whole spread out for trick-or-treaters, and none showed up. She is down bad right now. Not down as bad as Nebraska is, judging by what I'm watching, going down on my TV screen right now. To be honest with you, Washington just beat Nebraska. I don't even know how it happened. I went upstairs to warm my leftovers up. I think I put two minutes on the clock, which means I was out of the room for two and a half minutes, maybe, of real time, and Nebraska was up, and then I came back down here, and it's a 10-point Washington lead. I have no idea what happened. And that's the way I describe Nebraska football a lot. I am not texting Will Compton, right now. I can't do that. So here's what I'm going to do. I'm just going to kind of run through stuff. And I have no real design here. This is just you and I talking about the Saturday that was in college football. The first game, if I snap my fingers and I think back, is the Indiana game. Indiana, at various parts of this game, including the last 30 seconds, looks like they're done. And when Minnesota hit a 6-0, a 60-yard field goal. I think we just saw one of the stories of the year. I mean, we've seen P.J. Fleck already beat Michigan. That was emotional. They got blown out by Purdue. But now they're coming into Bloomington, and they beat Indiana. But wait, there's some time left on the clock. And so, you know, to see one 60-yard field goal in college football is pretty special. For the other team to then get the ball, the other team being Indiana, to get the ball, and have Charlie Becker, so like you could be down five touchdowns, and you're never out of it if you've got Charlie Becker. That guy's incredible. And to hit him, and by the way, Grant Wilson hitting him, because Hoover's been benched, and that may be for good, because Grant Wilson looked plenty good enough to, I think, get QB one tab at Indiana. But I digress. They get it up the field, across the 50, in field goal range, allegedly, but it's going to be a 60-yarder, and then they hit it to go to overtime. And I couldn't believe, I saw two things happen in the span of, like, 45 seconds of game clock that normally don't happen in the span of 45 years in an average program, and that's hitting a 60-yard field goal. So we had two of those. They go to OT. Indiana wins it again. Jenny Dell with CBS, good close personal friend of the program, gets the best Cignetti post-game interview of all time. Hands in candy bars on the field. That dude was relieved. Like, you could tell he labored. They labored through that game, but Charlie Becker is an assassin at wide receiver. I think Grant Wilson's got to be your guy. This point moving forward, it's just, you know, with Indiana, it's funny, it's very obvious, you don't even have to go the lazy route of saying, oh, they're not the team they were last year. Of course they're not. Side note, no one else is. So Indiana doesn't have to be last year's Indiana to win the Big Ten, or to win the national title. I don't, I don't necessarily think I'd pick them to win the national title right now. Although, to be fair, I don't know who I would pick to win the national title, but that's for another day. The whole point here is, I really think their disposition matters. I really think when the margins are small, disposition matters. And I don't know how else to explain this other than when you show up really truly expecting to win a game. And I don't mean the locker room, like hype video BS. I mean, really your mental disposition is just, we're winning this game. That's the default. Something has to go wrong for us not to win this game. Something has to go wrong for us to finish second best today. I think that stuff matters. You can't quantify it. But Indiana is a team right now that is playing very, very like high variance, tight margin type football. They went to overtime today against Minnesota. They had to go to overtime against Michigan. that Ohio State game was down to the wire. So they're clearly playing real tight margin football. What I'm saying is if some other team out there that didn't have a track record of winning or didn't have that disposition had the same set of circumstances, I think they already would have lost a couple of games, maybe three games. So I think their disposition matters. Now, man, I had already programmed my mind to think they had lost the game. Like I had already started looking up Big Ten championship scenarios and whatnot, and then they came back and won the game. So that's on hold. But hey, Big Ten picture's wide open. Georgia beat Florida today, 27 to 8. And obviously, like hats off to the Georgia defense. They played an inspired game. Hey, I thought Florida's defense played halfway decent too. It just doesn't matter because the rest of the team couldn't get out of its own way. A couple of things that had to happen here or else. It was going to be a non-starter of a conversation. The first thing is Florida had to be able to run the ball. Florida didn't run the ball worth anything. Hat tip to Georgia. Second thing, Florida can't be turning the ball over. Florida finished minus three turnovers. Ball game. Most padlock of padlock stats. You let me know that Florida couldn't run the ball. You let me know they lost the turnover battle badly. I don't care. You guys can criticize Mike Bobo all you want to on the Georgia side. You can talk about how inefficient the offense was, which is fine. All you want to. It's still going to be a win. So you got to decide. And if it sounds like this is rehearsed, it's because I've been firing off text. I mean, my phone right now, I'm going to hold it far, far away. So you can't see that group text right there. That's a group text with my Georgia buddies who are irate. Frankly, I think nine and two in the last 11 against Florida has spoiled them a little bit because they're firing off just text after text about Mike Bobo this and Gunnar Stockton. That man, he's hitting a slump this time of year, just like he did last year. You just beat Florida by three scores. Let's just pause and appreciate that. I am old enough to remember when it was like, you know, a far away fantasy for Georgia to dominate this series. So you got that going for you. Now, if you want to, if you want to remove yourself from that compartment and you want to go to the compartment of, okay, but what does it mean for the rest of the year? Well, it means they got to be better because you can't. You can't count on being plus in the turnover battle. That's what it means. It means it means you, you've got to have inspired defense. efforts. You've got to play really complimentary football. In other words, you've got to do what George has done any time that they've been successful. I would ask this. What is it you're seeing from this team from a negative standpoint that surprises you? I don't know where to go with that. The offense felt disjointed. Yeah, it did. It was also pretty glaringly obvious early on in this game. You didn't need to do anything. You could have gone out there and handed the ball off every play. Truthfully, guys, they could have gone out there and taken knees with the way Florida was playing and it wasn't going to matter. I think that has something to do with it. Now, here's the follow-up to that. It didn't matter today. It will matter down the road. Maybe as soon as next week, they go to Oxford. Ole Miss has no margin for error. Georgia does a little bit. This is the same team they played in the Sugar Bowl last year. That was a classic. The one thing I will say, because I've never been a Mike Bobo play call question guy, I don't do that, but the one thing that stood out to me is there is no quarterback in America that takes a more consistent beating than Gunnar Stockton. I question whether he's human. I was talking about Ole Miss there. One of the most physical games I ever remember seeing in the modern era of college football is that Sugar Bowl that they played against Ole Miss last year. The amount of hits, the amount of low-grade car crashes that that dude was in on the field was amazing. He keeps getting back up. The first time, I think Herbstreet mentioned it on the broadcast today, the first time that we ever really saw him was when he came in for Carson Beck against Texas. He has that collision down to the goal line. He's virtually indestructible, but he is still a human. He can still get knocked out. The way they were- The way they were calling plays towards the end of this game when it's already decided and Stockton still carrying the ball, I assume by design, was a little bit of a head-scratcher to me, but the other side of this, this is so unacceptable from Florida. They weren't ready. They didn't show up ready. The mental disposition that I talk about Indiana having so much. Florida sucked today. They weren't ready. I don't mean they weren't prepared. Although maybe I'm kind of saying they weren't prepared. It just felt like the moment was too big for them. You don't expect that, especially coming out of a bye week. If they beat you, if they just whip you and they're physically better and they out-coach you, whatever, but there was just so much mess on the Florida side. The other thing I'll say, look, I love John Sumrall to death, but there's a moment where he gets flagged on the sideline. It is costly. Sumrall's always going to have- Have something for you in a post-game press conference. He had a cute quote or whatever. It ain't good enough. You can't be doing that stuff because I don't think it's, I don't know. I will leave it up to Florida fans on how they want to feel about that. I don't need to tell John Sumrall how to feel about losing a game. I can assure you it weighs on his shoulders plenty enough without somebody talking into a microphone or a laptop. I'm just saying it was disappointing to see the, I don't know, the mentality they came out of the gate with. There's a difference between being fired up to play a game and being prepared to execute in a game to the nature that it takes to win. They weren't prepared to do that. I ain't saying they didn't show up fired up. I'm sure they were, but that matters until kickoff. Then how do you properly channel that? They didn't channel it very well. This was the- This was the loss for Florida that kind of officially pours the water on any kind of fire of post-season conversation. Georgia's still in it for everything. I just wonder with Georgia, we're heading into November. How much can you improve? Because this is not a team of unknowns. It's a pretty veteran team. So I think we largely got what we got here, which makes them a little bit different. And that's not a surprise. That's kind of how I expected Georgia to ebb and flow throughout the year. I think we got what we got here. I think they're different than some of these other teams with like a dynamic young quarterback play or stars emerging. USC is one of those. Randomly just star young players emerging. That's not Georgia. Georgia kind of is who they are. And there may be little fractions of inches that they can gain here or there. How is this $47? All right. We're going to need a plan here. Learn more at bva.com slash simple banking. $1,100. That's what you could be saving on Texas home insurance every year. What would you do with all that extra cash? You could go on a nice weekend. Getaway. You could finally get to those home repairs. Or you could buy like 150 pounds of brisket. Whether you're getting the yard ready for kickoff, clearing leagues before guests arrive, or powering your feet, RYOBI's 40-volt outdoor lineup has you covered. RYOBI, only at the Home Depot. Give it a goal, plus things like files, notes, or project plans, develop a trip itinerary with daily updates, or create a prioritized schedule so you can spend less energy sorting out the details and more on bringing your biggest ideas to life. What about, um, what about Oregon, man? I thought Oregon may be dead in the water. Oregon was down 20-6 to Northwestern. I tweeted out, don't check the score. No one replied then. They waited to the end of the game, and then they replied. It's okay to have fun on the internet. But Dylan Raiola, I feel like, is a guy who practices touchdown celebrations in the mirror, and that's okay. He's not the first, nor will he be the last. The difference is, he's probably stockpiled them a little bit, because Dylan Raiola has not had a ton to in recent history, whether it be his time at Nebraska or after the USC game, his time at Oregon. But man, today, he made several incredible throws. He had, what was he, 22-31, 3-36, not 2-36, 3-36 through the air, three touchdowns, no picks. I think he had one fumble. This was a really good performance from Dylan Raiola, and dude, he was ready with the Halloween-themed celebrations. Buddy, he came ready. Now, he found some time during the week to watch some film and actually work on game planning, too, but he was prepared with the touchdown celebrations, and I kid because I care. This was a good, good win for Dan Lanning. These kinds of wins get overlooked. Everyone goes into these kinds of games, and everyone kind of wants to be on record so that they can pull the soundbite if you lose. They'll say things like, oh man, Chip Kelly coming to Eugene. Oh man, the line's only three and a half. Boy, what if this happens? Then it doesn't happen, and no one has anything to say. Or it sounds like this. Okay, big deal. You beat Northwestern. No, it's a big deal. It's a big deal. That's a good team, and they had you down 20-6, and then you end up, I mean, you're 34-26. You dominate the rest of the way and did what you needed to do. That's a big deal. You don't really realize how big a deal it is until you're on the other side of it. Then you realize, boy, man, we got beat at home by Northwestern. Nope, you don't have to deal with any of that. Miami got put on the ropes a little bit by North Carolina the week before they go up to play Notre Dame. Looking very, very forward to that game. Oh man, a lot of us were looking forward to that game. 38-28. I think there may be a couple of different types of people out there on that one. I think there may be some people who expected a four or five touchdown blowout, and then there may be people who have watched North, Carolina this year, and you know, it's not a great team, but they're a much improved team, and they've got plenty enough line of scrimmage talent to where they can give you some issues. The one thing I wondered about North Carolina that they did better than I thought they'd do is they just threw the ball better. I mean, there's vulnerabilities in Miami's secondary. Make no mistake, we've seen that already. I just didn't think Billy Edwards was going to be the guy to go after him there, and I want to, let me see this right quick. I mean, he had way better passing numbers. than I thought he'd have. It ended up being that kind of game. Edwards was 28 of 34. They had 341 passing. He had four touchdowns. As you look forward, as you look ahead, you start to ask, as we're getting into November, you start to do the comps. A couple of weeks down the road, hey, if I'm next week, if I'm looking at Notre Dame, I'm kind of asking, if this happened that week, what could happen this week? If Billy Edwards did that to you, what can CJ Carr do to you? Or what could Gio Lopez do to you if you end up playing Wake Forest down the road? Gio Lopez got hurt today, by the way, in that Wake Forest game, which otherwise was just a total splattering in Winston-Salem. Man, we had a ton of fun. Fun there. We were there for our live show Friday. That was incredible. I'd never been to Winston-Salem, never been to Wake Forest. Will go back. Spent some time with Jake Dickert Friday afternoon before the show in his office. Man, that's a dude I could play for. That's a dude that could be the CEO of my company. I own my company. If Jake Dickert knocked on the door and said, hey, I'm here to run it, I said, all right, can I still work here, though? Can I still work at my company? He'd probably say, yes, he's not. He's a nice guy. But that was a lot of fun. But anyway, kind of dovetailing off both of those games, SMU went down today. So it's looking for all the world right now, like it's a collision course, a rematch collision course for Miami and Wake Forest. And if you're looking way down the road towards the playoff picture and you're trying to find a way where the ACC can have two bids, that's it. It's some combination of that. It's either a Wake Forest upset, the ACC title game, or it's complete chaos elsewhere. And you don't get overly penalized for Wake's only two losses coming to Miami. Let's see, Notre Dame Navy. I mean, I watched it. It's close at the half and then they break it open. I think maybe if I were running Notre Dame, I can't remember who said it today. It may have been Brad Powers. I can't remember. I think it was him. Who said, look, I mean, the post-World War II gratitude has been paid off. Stop scheduling Navy every year. Half the roster gets hurt. It's a unique offense to deal with. I can't say I disagree with that. I never know what to make. I mean, Notre Dame's dominated this, but even if it's close, which it was for a little while, I never really know what to make of it. In other words, I don't know how applicable it is moving forward. I do know Notre Dame's got to get out of the gate a lot hotter in these games. They didn't against Brigham Young and it cost them. They didn't against Navy and it didn't cost them because they're, that's superior. But Notre Dame, I think I said a couple of times this week, their game, Notre Dame's game was the third most important Notre Dame game in the noon window today, which sounds like some hot take, like, oh, where are you going with that? It's not a hot take. If you looked at the schedule, they're playing Navy, they're favored by 30. They're going to beat Navy. They did. Check. The other two games that I thought mattered more were SMU at Syracuse, and Wisconsin at Iowa. And the big deal there obviously is if Notre Dame ends up being a two loss team, it's going to be a resume comparison contest for them to get the playoff. If they're a one loss team, ignore everything I'm about to say they're in regardless, but they're going to play Miami this week. And if they were to lose that game close, it started to look more and more like even a two loss Notre Dame is probably in the playoff with so much chaos. And carnage elsewhere. Well, that is going to heavily rely on their resume holding up case in point, all of a sudden, Wisconsin last week pops in the top 25. Well, guess what that is as dumb as this stuff is as dumb as the, you know, the 25 to 26 spot in the rankings being this cutoff line, Wisconsin being 25 meant Notre Dame has another ranked win on their resume. And they've got SMU down the road. And if they beat SMU, that'll be another ranked win. Well, buddy, the reason why Notre Dame's game was the third most important game in the noon window for them was because SMU playing Syracuse and Wisconsin playing Iowa is very, very important too. And both of the teams on Notre Dame schedule lost. Wisconsin got demolished by Iowa. SMU goes down to Syracuse. And so I don't know, cause we have to have so many other things sorted out this Tuesday, the playoff ranking. And I don't know, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what that's going to look like, but man, if Notre Dame loses to Miami, especially given the backdrop being how they got dealt with last year and how many people think they got screwed out of a playoff spot last year, that's going to be interesting. South Carolina, Cocktober, what an emphatic finish to Cocktober. South Carolina just owned Oklahoma and Norman. 42-25 the final. I can assure you it was not that close. Lenora Sellers. I paused before saying his name, partly out of reverence, partly out of the hiccup that got stuck in my throat. He's on fire, man. They threw for over 300. They ran for over 200 in this game. And dude, there's a whole list of issues with Oklahoma. But I don't want to, I mean, I like to talk about winners first here. South Carolina is in a really interesting situation here. Now, they may not have enough gas in the tank. We'll see if they have enough gas in the tank. And their back's against the wall by their own doing because they didn't take care of business early in the year. But they are taking care of business right now. And they sit in a position as we speak when they're five and three entering November and their final four games are Texas A&M this week at home. They go to Arkansas. And then they've got Georgia at home November 24th. Okay. There's no guarantee what anyone's record is going to be at that point. But I'm pulling up something right quick here. Georgia will be coming off at Ole Miss and home versus Missouri before that game. There may be significant playoff implications on that game, not just for Georgia, but for both teams. Because everyone's been doing the calculus on this group of nine and three potential SEC teams, and they haven't been included. They've been doing the calculus on this group of nine and three potential SEC teams, and they haven't been included. Because everyone's been doing the calculus on this group of nine and three. Because you just assume South Carolina is going to lose another game. Well, I've gotten to the point where I no longer assume South Carolina is going to lose another game. They may, but I'm not going to assume it. And I know there are a lot of people listening saying, why the big deal about beating Oklahoma? Well, it's not that they beat Oklahoma. It's the manner in which they did it. And let me remind you, South Carolina was a four and a half point dog in this game. This was supposed to be a very big letdown spot. They're coming off the South Carolina win. They're coming off the field storming. They're coming off all kinds of Shane Beamer locker room celebration video type stuff. This is supposed to be the letdown. And they went out there and handled them. Don't look at the box score in this. Here's what you need to know. This game was basically over at halftime. John Mateer had 25 yards passing in the first half. Oklahoma as a team had 71 yards total offense. Put another one. By the way, Oklahoma was plus three turnovers. I think I know South Carolina turned the ball over three times and they still scored 42. So the OU defense got worked. The OU offense always gets worked. The folks who showed up, it was not a packed house, booed rightfully so. And then Brent Venables, not that I expect him to do this sort of thing in a postgame press conference, but Brent Venables, non-committal to any staff changes. I know some fans are worked up about that. Look, even if Brent Venables walked off the field and resolved in his mind to fire his entire staff tomorrow morning, he's not sharing that with you at a postgame news conference. But there are issues in Norman and there is hope in Columbia, South Carolina. How is this $47? All right. Did you know Texans who switched to Kins say they saved around $1,100 a year on home insurance? That's a lot of money. Or hear me out. $1,100 worth of brisket. With Kin, you could bundle home and auto insurance in Texas and save up to 20% on auto. KIN.com slash iHeart. KIN, Texas-sized savings. KIN Interinsurance Nexus Exchange, Phoenix, Arizona. Savings vary and are not guaranteed. Ohio State falls to USC, 30-18. I didn't think they had it in them. I don't think a lot of people thought they had it in them. I don't think half the USC fan base thought this team had it in them. So, I always view these kinds of games a little bit different. And by these kind of games, I mean, if you're coming off a certain kind of performance, and then you, I'm not going to say dominate, but you really control a game, especially against a big-time top-five opponent, it's typical to look at it in isolation and cheer and wave the pom-pom. Certainly do all that if you're a USC fan. I always look at these kind of games, and I'm partly happy for said team, and then I'm partly enraged by said team because my mind goes back seven days prior, and I'm thinking to myself, where was this? It's obvious. I'm watching you tonight. Obviously, you're capable of doing everything that I thought you were capable of. You're capable of at least having a functional ground game. You're capable of, at times, handling things on the line of scrimmage, both ways, and that's you doing it against Ohio State. You couldn't do that against Wisconsin? You'll never convince me getting on a plane and flying somewhere just completely changes the entire mental makeup of a team, the entire physical makeup of a team, and yet it did with this USC team, so it sounds like I'm being a little bit harsh. It's because I am. It's because I think that team is a playoff-caliber team at its best. It doesn't play at its best consistently enough. So anyway, that's this. This part of me that feels a little anger towards what I watched tonight juxtaposed to what we saw last week. But as for what we saw tonight, what a performance, man. So I said I didn't think they had it in them. And by it, I don't even mean winning the game. I mean, I'm watching this Washington-Nebraska game. It's insane. By it, I don't even mean I didn't think USC could win the game. The line's like six and a half points. Okay, so crazier stuff happens all the time. I meant if you told me USC was going to win the game, I certainly wouldn't have thought it was going to be a game where just athletically, they kind of went at Ohio State and they came out on top. Like, they were superior. So it's so typical for us to go and we look at, you know, paper. Like, we look. Look at that notebook, by the way. We look on paper and who's more talented and all that garbage. That matters until the game's played. That's like stuff we use to fill our time until the game's played. Once the game's played, man, someone's going to be best and someone's going to be second best. Ohio State was second best to USC. Like, Ohio State was second best physically to USC. Never thought I'd say it. Never thought I'd say those words. And then the win is a byproduct of that. Whew, so a lot to unpack here. I saw some people asking how different this game would have been if Julian Sayen played. And there's no way to know it, guys. You can't prove a counterfactual. I'll give you my personal feel. I didn't feel like it would have been that much different because the reasons that Ohio State lost this game slash the reasons that USC won the game, I didn't really feel were all that tied to the quarterback position. I didn't even think Luke Fahey played a bad game. And it's not like Julian Sayen had been lighting the world on fire. So it's not like the replacement there is all of a sudden plus six or seven points. I didn't feel that way, at least. Again, there's no way to know it. But USC, there were so many controllables that they handled better. Also, with Ohio State, man, how disappointing. I mean, coming out of a bye week to feel that, I don't know, discombobulated on the road. Like, that's not something that normally matters for Ohio State. That's normally an operation, one of like three or four in the country that you can count on to be pretty buttoned up. And they weren't. Now, of course, the new quarterback being broken in has something to do with that. But I don't know. That was, it was very disappointing to see them not come out of the gate more prepared, you know, mentally to withstand the storm. And the storm started early and it hadn't rained to boot in Southern California. They say it never happens, but I don't believe that. But I remember when we were breaking the game down Tuesday, a couple of big things that needed to happen for USC. And I thought one of them was imperative. I thought they needed to grab an early lead because when you're coming off of what happened last week and then Lincoln's dealing with everyone questioning him validly, I'm still questioning him. This is a wonderful win. You could argue, it's the best win he's had since he's been there. Okay, put my drink down. Okay, so what are you going to do with it? You're going to stack wins now? You're going to go on a run here? Because if you don't, it was meaningless. So I know it sounds like I'm a, I'm a father scolding a child who I think is overly celebratory. It's not that. It's just, I think that program should be better than these little isolated flickers here and there. It's USC. It's year five. It's a five or six. It's one of them. It's like a half a decade under Lincoln Riley. It should just be better than that. So this is, this is what it should be. And I'm not saying consistently you should be like running off a string of top five wins. No one does that consistently, but man, it shouldn't be shocking when you do something like this. And I'm fairly shocked. Given what we saw last week, given what we saw against Oregon, I'm fairly shocked. I felt like this USC team was going to be a team that takes a backseat in games like this. And they didn't. They took the front seat and tossed USC out the window and drove over their body a couple of times. So this is a pretty surprising result. It's going to shake things up. I am struggling to be the bigger man tonight because a couple of weeks ago when the Indiana game happened and Sayan went down, I went on a few shows, including my own. People asked me what I thought about Ohio State's future. I said, I think they're going to lose a couple of games and miss the playoffs and took a lot of heat for it. I don't know why. It's not like that was a radical thing. It's not like that was a radical opinion. Like this Ohio State, look, I say this about Ohio State. I can say it about Georgia. I can say it about Texas, Miami. There are no elite teams this year. It's not crazy to suggest anyone could miss the playoff. It's not crazy to suggest Notre Dame and Miami could miss the playoff. And yet you say it, including me saying it about Ohio State and all these jokers come at you, you know, like you just bragged about having a second and third head on each show. It's very feasible. And now it's obviously more feasible mathematically that Ohio State can miss the playoff. Hey, they could still go on a run. They may not, they may not be, or they may be not losing for all I know. USC can make the playoff for all I know. But it is a crazy time in the Big Ten right now. The whole Big Ten picture is metamorphosizing. The playoff picture, metamorphosizing. But look, I'll say this. Good for Lincoln Riley. Good for Jaden Maiava. Good for that freshman class. My goodness, Mark Bowman, alien stuff. You walk away talking more about him than you do Jeremiah Smith in this game. And Smith was obviously a factor. But everything that needed to happen for USC happened in this game. There's no reason that that stuff can't be bottled up and duplicated the rest of the year. We'll see. I don't know. We'll see. And with Ohio State, this is it. Now, there's no time to get right. You got the rest of the way it is not an easy schedule. Oregon's still got a ton to play for. You're going to play Nebraska. Who else? I mean, they got Northwestern. There are no easy games. Every one of these games is going to be a fight. And if USC took it to you physically, there are a few more teams on that schedule that can take it to you physically. So, very, very unexpected style of game to me tonight. Things. How is this $47? All right. Just start simple. With Bank of America Advantage Safe Balance Banking. No overdraft item fees. No monthly maintenance fee if you're under 25. $1,100. That's what you could be saving on tech.com. Texas Home Insurance every year. You could go on a nice weekend getaway. Oh, what else happened? Man, I should have, I should have written more down. I want to make sure that I've said everything I want to say. Yes, I did. Okay, now I want to pull up what just finalized here. Also, very, very interesting. These games that happened late, man. Boise's running it up on Texas State. No one will be talking about it all that much. Oh, here's the one I wanted to talk to you about. Utah did unspeakable evil to Cincinnati today. They're up 42 to 6 at halftime. Just unspeakable evil. I want to be careful how I talk about this game because I know there was someone reportedly who passed away at the game, a fan, not a player. And so, you know, I kind of, once I realized that, I kind of backed off joking about the game on Twitter and stuff like that. And I'm not joking about it here at all. I'm just going to say Utah is a unit. And there were just a couple of weeks ago, I mean, there was still room to say, yes, Utah's resume or Utah's record's impressive, but they haven't really been tested. They haven't played anywhere. They have now. And they're playing their best ball against the best opponents. I mean, Texas Tech went into this building a week ago and got beaten fairly soundly. And now here's Utah. Let me just pull something up just out of curiosity because I kind of checked out of this game. 27 to 18 first downs. Some of this, I assume, is garbage time for Cincinnati. But man, they ran for 268 on them. 6.4 yards per carry. They are a brutal team. Not in a sense of Oklahoma being brutal to watch. I mean, they're brutal to play. And they got the Holy War this weekend. This Saturday is unbelievably loaded, guys. Unbelievably loaded. Prayers to anyone who either chose to or was forced to be in a wedding, accept a wedding invitation. It's just a lot of places out there will excuse that kind of behavior. This is not one of those places. You're on your own. You got no friends here. No one's coming to save you. No one's coming to save Texas Tech either. But that's okay because they helped themselves today. They beat Arizona 34 to 26. And that was a game I was worried about them. And they made the change at quarterback. And they started Thomas Castellanos. Does not want to be called Tommy anymore. So that's a sign of maturity and growth. That's wonderful. I remember when I made the move from Joshua to Josh. And my life took off after that. And I can only assume that this final score indicates that Thomas Castellanos, I'm just checking the box score here. Yes, he is properly named here as Thomas. I can only assume that that's what's in the future for him. Look, you want a padlock step? Let me take a sip of water here. You want a padlock step? I'll give you a padlock step. 328 to 12 rushing. The end. That's the game. And that was the way it, obviously, that's the way it was going most of the game. I was surprised that Arizona was in it. I mean, there were several times in the second half here where one converted third down or one stop here or there changes the complexion of the game and Arizona may win the game. I mean, Texas Tech got a score late that pushed this to a double-digit win. This was right there. This was like 27-23, nip and tuck. And I found myself thinking, how crazy is this stat line going to be if Arizona wins this game? Arizona's about to win a game being outrushed by over 300 yards. So, I mean, credit to them for even being in it. Fafito was 33 of 45. He had to be. A 417 of their 429 were through the air. It had to be. So, Castellanos came in. Joey McGuire was talking afterwards about the teams that had given Arizona trouble were teams with quarterbacks that had mobility about them. Will Hammond, not really that. Thomas Castellanos absolutely is that. So, good on them. That was badly needed. Texas Tech right there in the thick of this Big 12 race. That Big 12 race after Oklahoma State lost tonight, that looks like it's narrowed to a three-team race. You got the two teams in Utah. Brigham Young, Utah. I'm going to not just call Brigham Young a team in Utah. And Texas Tech. That's going to be a fun race to watch. Let's see. Anything else? UCLA just quietly shutting out Nevada, 27 to nothing. Hey, Kenny and the boys at Arizona State had Brigham Young close. And they pulled it out in the end, 27 to 20. That's one of those win-in-advance type situations. Texas beat Mississippi State 31 to 3. I assume most of you didn't watch a whole lot of this game. I don't know what to say. Mississippi State is rudderless without Kamario Taylor. They can't score. Texas' offensive line looked awful most of this game. And they still win, 31 to 3. There are just so many warts that you feel weird pointing out in a four-touchdown win in conference play. So I won't a whole lot. But Texas has got LSU in two weeks. This week, they've got Missouri. They're going to Missouri. Then they've got LSU. I don't know. Because you've got to think, with Texas' strength of record, you assume they can afford another loss. Because that's the world we're in now. They can afford another loss. But Texas' goal is to win the national championship. And I simply do not perceive them as that kind of team at this time. I don't ever want to write off a talent roster like that. It's obvious there are no dominant teams out there. It's obvious someone's going to get hot. And Texas still reserves the right to get hot. I just got to see it. I got to see it from them. I mean, USC just owned Ohio State. So truly, anything is possible in this modern era of ours. But I got to see it. Man, Duke just put it on Boston College. Rutgers held close with Michigan. 28-21 the final there. Don't care. Get out of there by any means necessary. Little Express had a 6-3 day. So we're clearly back. Although that under, holding on to that under for dear life in Ohio State, USC was hectic. Good for Penn State and Matt Campbell. There's just so much negativity around that place. I understand. It's because you've lost four games in a row. I'm not excuse making. But it was good to see them get a win. I believe that's, yeah, that's their first win in Big Ten play. 31-17. That's a win and a cover. Dude. Florida State, not a good night. Not a good night at all. Man. And then they got beat 36-24, but they were down big. Came back late. Scored 14 in the fourth and then just boom. Clemson puts on another TD and that's iced. They're 3-5. They are 3-5 now. Going nowhere fast. So yeah, that's a little bit of a snapshot. This was a weekend. It was kind of an appetizer, kind of a tee-up for what's coming next weekend. What's coming next weekend is the weekend of the year. One of the biggest weekends in several years. I cannot wait. There are probably six or seven games next week that are bigger than the biggest game was this week. So that is what we are headed into. And that's why I kind of wanted to go ahead and get this out there. I appreciate you guys checking it out. We will see you Sunday night. Take care and God bless. We'll be right back. How is this $47?
