Elon Musk Has Some Thoughts About The Bulwark. They’re Not Nice.

Hey, everybody, it's Tim Moore from the book. We're taping this on Saturday morning. Look, here's the deal. When Elon Musk fantasizes about your death and a Republican congressional candidate cries about his dick size, and this is stuff that can't wait till Monday. All right. It just isn't. And so you're getting a Saturday solo Tim update. We'll get into the Michigan Senate race and, uh, and some craziness in Iowa that I should have been covering because it's a district that I lived in once for a little bit. So we'll get there in a second, but obviously we've got to start with this Elon. Ooh, so scary attack from Elon. Um, a gentleman named Western Linsman, who knows my might be an Elon sock puppet or whatever, uh, posted a bit of our Atlanta live show where JVL gets on one a little bit about how people don't hate Elon enough. And, um, hard to argue with that. Hard to buoy uh you know if you are doing ketamine fueled tweets about white replacement all night as a south african um and then simultaneously instituting the biggest cut in funding in history for food for the poorest black and brown people in the world like people are going to wonder a bit about your motives and your ideology you know it's like if you're tweeting pepe memes you know and then going to work at the gas station and you're nice to your colleagues people are like okay that's bad but you're just blowing off some steam steam if you're tweeting some pepe memes and then also responsible for the deaths of the most vulnerable black children in the world people are going to think well this is a coherent white nationalist ideology of this man has so you know i don't i don't understand why everybody you know people i was watching cnn panel last night where people like oh oh don't don't you dare call elon a white nationalist it's like a white supremacist it's like well do you see the dude's tweets i mean like he tweets about brown invaders constantly tweets about the death of the white race it's like okay i mean he is david duking himself on his own social media feed you know that's something that is kind of legitimate so anyway jbl's talking about that we're talking about that in atlanta we're talking about um the way that he's responsible for the deaths of the ukrainians because he like you know arbitrarily throttled um internet access for the people of ukraine talked about the kid in the stroller dead because ukraine didn't have their defenses you know all because of this one addled freak and and so yeah yeah we've got some hate given all the death that he's caused and given the fact that he's like trying to buy the most corrupt senator in history right now in texas um and so at the atlanta show we had a little discussion about this um western lensman did did us a solid actually and and clipped kind of highlight reel of our discussion of elon in atlanta let's watch that however mad you are about elon musk it's not enough and he's the one i want and i want being a part of the discussion of elon musk and he's the one i want and i want being a part of the before congress to be just the start because this guy has a body count like a fucking war criminal we start with the u.s congress and it ends at the fucking hague for elon musk hey you got a trillion dollars asshole great you start spending it on lawyers because justice is coming so uh we got to talk a little bit about elon musk uh we talked Oh you don't hate him nearly enough. There's a reply guy for Elon always posted rocket ship moon Yeah One of those rocket ship moon guys Who knows like, you know gets a bad batch of meth next thing you know, they're hunting I don't know like you never know in this crazy ass world you never know and and so I On the one hand he's a 12 year old street. He's about sword and death on the other hand This is the richest guy in the world like tweeting a direct threat to us So I just I think that's bad. I think that's irresponsible. I was think it's funny, you know, I'm not gonna cry But I think it's funny that he's like such a pathetic little boy You know what else I think is funny I just was thinking about this like the degree to which he is grew You know from despicable me from the minions. Okay, and it's all his body is exactly like grew You know, he has this like huge chest and belly and that kind of tiny legs Like he never has done leg day once in his life And so it's like his body is like torso teeters on top of the little spindly twig legs So it's kind of like drew in that sense he's like growing in the sense that he's like he like is making all these threats and thinks that he's He's a doctor evil evil genius and like and actually he's just like kind of a pathetic Pathetic sad man, you know, I grew like sees himself as a super villain. He has all these little minions Elan's got his little bots and the parallels are kind of are kind of funny Don't the saddest is that there's like a weakness in it, which is like in the end. We find out that grew as a heart whereas like in the end Elon will probably like be Alone on his deathbed without any of his a hundred children because they all hate him so Kind of end of the story isn't really the same with Elon Saturday nights with my wife and friends Sunday mornings with my kids. that guy looks my age right i mean like he's got to be 40 44 no i mean the outfit look at the face i i don't really scroll to the next picture and there he is on stage that is him actually supposedly 29 year old joe mitchell with trump behind him and i don't you know i mean he has the haircut of a 1980s dad at the skin care routine i you can tell joe mitchell is not a bulwark listener because he four you know four points more republican than the median district so that's you know up in the high single digits gap that needs to be bridged between the democrats and the republicans um the district is in eastern iowa which is one of the more interesting districts in the country from a political science standpoint uh just the like looking at the past 25 years like looking at the 21st century because um eastern iowa you know you always hear about the like rust belt towns as the as the big um obama trump flip areas but like rural eastern iowa um was bigger than a lot of those places um you know dubuque right there on the mississippi river was this catholic uh union you know town that was super dim for a long time like one of the democratic strongholds in iowa um and that flipped um during the trump years and so you have here uh the field of dreams is in this district um you've got uh cedar rapids um in this district uh i think i think hillary did pokemon go to the polls in cedar rapids so that's notable um you've got waterloo cedar falls where i live shout out mulligan's bar in cedar falls um that's where i went every night when i lived there as a young man uh working on a campaign in this district um i came it was from shell rock it's a tiny little farm town anyway uh mason city the day the music died in this district so um you know this has been kind of traditional democratic territory flips to trump has been strong r now for i don't know probably a decade um and and what you have here is like an interesting flip opportunity back for the democrats you do you know it is an older community so i you have some you have some people that remember voting democrat in the district um in addition to a couple of college towns cedar rapids so um it'll be interesting to watch the democratic candidate it's yet another um uh pastor uh lindsey james went to divinity school um was a faculty member at university of dubuque uh director of laura's peace institute um so just a just a good person running for office as a democrat and uh and let's take a look at her opponent the 29 year old joe mitchell why don't we pull up here him giving trump the man of the century award and they've never given you the nobel peace prize by the way which is a disgrace so what i came up with mr president is a new award it's called the man of the century award okay it's the man of the century award and i'm going to hold this up for the artificial media to see cnn zoom in right here cnn okay because this man has been more for humanity and for america than any other president ever thank you mr president for being here thank you for supporting iowa and thank you for being the greatest president we've ever had he just like went to michael's it's just like a The race is about one thing. Mike Rogers doesn't seem to know it. And Mike Rogers doesn't seem capable of getting out of the sour spot where he's a MAGA conspiracy theorist. You know, a still a reckless national security hawk. He's both. He loves stupid wars and he is on board with Trump election conspiracies.
