He paid, uh, the Amber, the government, Oh, the administrator, the corrupt administration to release an, like a silver alert, you know, about this. Some old, old podcaster is missing. It's just off into the pasture. We're just sending her out of the field and, um, she's going to go be really happy in a farm somewhere. And you're not eating her for dinner right now. I, Oh, that turned weird. I do. I want to add on to what you're saying that this is cause I feel bad that this is coming so close to the time that Christina is leaving. And one of my biggest concerns this whole time has been making sure that the audience had enough time to process it before anything changed. But unfortunately with the powers that be and just how circumstances play out and telling everyone behind the scenes, I, we've both spoken about this in our own text messages that we wanted this told to people way earlier. It just did not happen that way. Um, but we have absolutely been talking about this for a long time. This is something that we have both known about and we're both okay with it. And I absolutely support Christine. Christine supports me carrying on with the podcast. It's it's like, yeah, that, well, that's the big news, I guess. Yeah. I guess that's the real big news. Like mine is like the intro to the bigger news. I don't know. Is that, well, I just, I'm not ready to leave the podcast yet. I really love doing this and, uh, it's just a lot of fun and I'm very, very lucky. And Christina's at a place in her life where she's ready to try some other stuff, which you can talk about if you want. But, um, I want to keep, You'll find me folks. You can't get away from me that easy. Yeah. I promise. Well, this is where, Oh, wait, we did release like statements if you want to read them for more like detail or what, if we're forgetting something, which we probably most certainly are. But just so everybody knows, Christine is still going to be a part of like parapods and behind the scenes and everything. It's just not in front of the microphone as much. Yes. We've sort of, I mean, I've both sort of like surrendered to whatever's going on with the situation. Yeah, exactly. So, uh, no, we are every, everything's like good over here. I fully support Christine's decision. We've known about this for a while. This is not, this is something that, uh, you know, I'm very, sad that you're leaving, but you know, I've made peace with it. I'm only happy for you. Um, and do you want to talk more about what you're up to? I know we've put out a press release, but just if people haven't read that. Yeah. I mean, sure. I, yeah, I, I feel like I don't even know. I mean, I'll still be on beach to Sandy with my brother. Um, and we'll be on tour this fall. So that's fun just for a couple of cities only within driving distance. But other than that, I don't know. I'm just kind of, I'm kind of like posting. I've been like doing like little channeled readings on Tik TOK and YouTube that like are just daily, but it's just whenever they come to me. My brother and I are recording. We have a little space set up. Every other aspect of my life has also very actively seen a tower moment. So we're not, we're not going to go there, but just like, you know, it's, it's, life is happening. Life is happening like rapid speed right now. And it's sort of like, it has, it felt like a nightmare, like Chrysalis for a long time. And now it's like, oh God, everything's happening at once. So yeah, you know, the nightmare Chrysalis, that's me. Not, anymore though I'm out now I'm free I free myself uh yeah I don't know where I was going with that so apologies but I've never been one to uh really know how to deliver some awkward information no I think we're both just maybe I'm it's just me but I assume I'm speaking for you as well that we just want everybody else to you know if you feel like this is like somehow blindsiding you or like it feels a little like informational whiplash like we are going to get through it together Christine you are welcome back anytime if you are feeling chatty and you know whatever that oh if I'm feeling just want to hear your input on how you would like to see things um evolve from here and I didn't I just didn't feel right to make a decision or like what if we brought someone on immediately after Christine I don't want it to feel like you know now you just have to like this person and deal with it like I really if you guys in the comments I know we say that kind of in a silly way sometimes but truly if you guys have any suggestions for us to do in the future I would love to hear from you guys on what you would like to see moving forward um I don't want things to change too much I would long like grieving process so I feel like you know it might not be coming through yeah right like here but we've we've processed other people this is new information but we've both grieved it um and should she have zero is the answer and how many shark shirts does she have I think probably 16 I think after four I would I would be like oh someone's got like a bit of a shark thing well this one is like I just bought it at a uh a forever 21 in Shanghai and it was the year of our lord 2013 wow yes it was 2013 I don't know why I still own this this is what I'm saying like I'm like I don't even connection between myself and other people and so it like calls in the same energy of like what I'm going through so I feel like like you can almost follow this process and I started doing it one day I literally got a voice in my head that was like just do a tarot reading for tiktok and I was like that's so embarrassing no um but I just winged it and I started doing it and it just kind of worked so um but yeah that shows showcase like some days you'll look at me and go like what the fuck is up with her and it's um but yeah so you can kind of probably because it's daily you probably scroll back and just see my face changing and sometimes your hair is like just sticking out and uh oh just gray it gets grayer and grayer yeah um I start wearing makeup again oh nope I don't silver alert another silver alert oh another silver alert she hasn't she hasn't washed her hair again anyway it's fine we're we're on the I feel for from my perspective on my life alone I am very much I've reached the light at the end of the tunnel of my own like very much dark night of the soul experience this year um I feel that I finally reached that as of like this week literally so um yeah it's been like a tornado a whirlwind I don't know um but yeah yeah I don't know where I was again I'm just kind of winging it here clearly but that's okay I think people would I I think it's appreciated even when we were talking to our manager about how we would go about telling people I feel like it was um a question for her about like well do you want to even bring it up on the podcast would you like to and I both of us I think we're like there's you know we want to be there's like no way around it yeah also right like we've talked about like how are we not gonna talk about it we've talked about every other thing uh uh in in the podcast world or about our podcast we've talked about every single thing up until now it would be really weird to not talk about the end of an era yeah exactly exactly exactly it just doesn't feel right to be authentic about it so I I it's you know you're going through a lot of changes um I am horrified of change so I'm sticking with this but that's not why I'm sticking with it I also just really enjoy it but um I'll be holding down the fort and uh I I might my feeling about it right now is that I'm gonna have some guest hosts help me out um probably through the end of the year because I don't know if we said this earlier but Christine is sticking around of course you gotta have episode 500 together we gotta that would feel weird to not do that with you and Christine is also going to be with us for all of spooky season so we get one last big Halloween together um but then for the uh rest of the year I'll be trying out some new people or just hanging out with some people while we figure out what's going on and if you like anyone in particular that tends to be slow season anyway people kind of start doing their own thing and then picking back up in January it seems at least with our audience so I yeah so I'm thinking by New Year's hopefully there will be an official decision made so yeah oh just take a look at my birth chart people and you'll see what I'm going through okay and then you'll like literally know just mathematically what's happening um it's really all very amazing how it reflects back um yeah well I'm glad that you're doing and she drinks and stuff and it's like you're not doing you know so that's dopamine hit you're not doing that and we were trying to find some like really good restaurants out here but the areas that she picked it wasn't like the main downtown areas of upper peninsula it was kind of like more like in the middle of nowhere and so the restaurants were really slim pickings um so it was a a different trip than i'm used to because the last time we were on a trip together we went to the fucking hamptons and this time whoa this time it was um not the hamptons which is so maybe we were all wondering if you went to a coach store today i don't know i mean after that as i said hamptons you're right yeah um yeah no i felt well my mom and i we tried to do a trip every year usually around mother's day and uh we try to find a city that neither of us have been to but we've traveled a lot of places and so is she and i was like we've never been to like the fucking hamptons and then it became a thing where we like went to say that we've gone so um you've never been to fond du lac and that's next and that shows oh walk through the doorway and realize it right right now um but no so i i really did okay so his mother had a near-death experience while giving birth to him uh during the c-section that they were having his mother's blood pressure dropped so drastically that she blacked out and then had visions of two angels dressed in white lifting her off the table like bye-bye bringing her away oh my she told them to let her live and they vanished they just put her back on the table and went away and she came to just in time to give birth to chip coffee i can't believe the angels were almost gonna like not let chip coffee happen leave him that's not nice or i'm sure he whatever the situation was that was not his mother or family in general's first paranormal experience chip actually comes from many people with gifts so his mother her whole life had psychic abilities his grandmother read tea leaves his great-grandmother was a respected indigenous medicine woman and because of this he thinks this is a good time to give birth to chip coffee so he's going to give birth to chip coffee this might be how he got his gifts because in some interviews he did say that he thinks that um these abilities are hereditary but he doesn't think that the abilities themselves are rooted in dna he just thinks how easy or accessible these gifts are is what's rooted in your dna because he thinks everybody has these abilities yeah i love that that's such a cool way to look at it just depends on how easy it is for you to access um so he his whole family seems to be really tapped into this shit and it because his family was not able to give birth to chip coffee he was able to so involved in this world he luckily actually grew up not being judged for his abilities and it was very normalized so one of the things he talked about in his book a lot was like don't make your kids feel like fucking weirdos it was very normalized at home but they did tell him to keep it private and keep it within the family to avoid judgment because at different times in his life he lived in the bible belt so and like in the 50s 60s i mean that's yeah just safer um fun fact since we're talking about that he was raised catholic he is still very very religious and he had something interesting in one of his it was either an interview or a book where he said like well if you're going to believe in like all the mystical parts of religion why is the mystical parts of being a medium so fucking crazy to you like yeah that's what's so wild like catholicism that's why there's like this they call like a pipeline from like cath like recovering catholic girl like school girl or whatever to like witch you know because it's like they're the ritual is so similar like there's just i mean it's literally blood sacrifices to somebody and you all chant every week with each other and eat the blood of his body and all that i mean my grandmother like had these like altars and you know it's like you to like the virgin mary and it's like yeah like now i have that but in a different context like you started to show psychic abilities um the first thing he used to do was he would just stare at the family phone and just shout someone's name and that person would then call the phone crazy shout someone's name can you imagine grandma it'd be crazier if he was like the president of the united states oh yeah yeah yeah the car dealership again yeah imagine if you're trying to like have a sneaky phone call like not around him he's uh-uh no no no secrets but so it became like his thing like everyone knew like oh well if he says their name and then he's looking at the phone they're gonna call and i love that like because they were so like supportive of it that he just was like yeah i do this all the time and it's norm so normal like so many of us i feel like are like is it real is it real and he's like oh it's just always been real and there was no shame rooted in it so he didn't even occur to him to not do it or tell people not trust himself yeah um so he actually this is very funny he calls himself the original caller id because okay that's great this is this guy's calls himself a lot of things i tell you i should put that in the beginning of his intro the original caller id again the family did not make a big deal out of this they treat it like it's normal and a few years like when he's like seven or eight i think um they moved back to elmira new york so he was born in elmira then they went to spartanburg now they're back in elmira okay they do a lot of flip-flopping between those two towns i'm very confused when they move back to new york they buy a family's house everyone has passed since but the family was originally the murphys so now they're moving into the new york city so they're moving back to new york city so they're moving back to murphy house one of the only things in this house that the murphys left there which is so fizuck and eerie is a framed greeting card on the wall and it reads the house is yours its portal opens wide and welcomes you to all inside dear friend and guest enter in peace and rest the house is yours like i beg to differ how far into the signing process interactually have we gotten right how did the zillow listing actually show a photograph of that on the wall because if that didn't show then that i consider that to be like false advertising and also i rebuke all of that just for my own energetic field bye that's that's normal but like i don't know like what do you i have no idea it's like those people who leave fake skeletons under their crawl space oh my god stop it with that you're gonna give someone a coronary and it's gonna be me and then i'm gonna send you the medical bill but i'm not because i'm too nice for that well fun fact one day chip decided to open up the frame to clean it and he found a picture of the youngest murphy child hidden behind the right i was like i promise this was some sort about something and there you go oh my gosh fun fact he has sense because he he reframed the picture in a new frame where now the the picture of the daughter and the poem are side by side in this frame and he actually hasn't he has hung it by his front door at every home he's lived in hey all of a sudden it's sweet i love that chip coffee you know how to alchemize really creepy people's behavior breaking barriers breaking barriers into like your own magic that's kick ass he's everything because i was really letting you ride that wave of thinking it was horrifying because it is it really is objectively from the start and then he found a way to say don't do that let's bring love into this yeah that's what i love yeah it's like you know what this has been given to me and i don't really have a choice here so let's just fucking go with the flow and honestly it's my dream to fucking find an old photograph inside a creepy frame like hello that's the dream that's my dream well um so it's funny you mentioned zillow earlier because when the family moved in i guess they were under the impression that they did officially own the house but then they're the person who helped them sign their mortgages or whatever ended up realizing hey did you know that even though this family lived here and all the family members died and technically there's nobody left to own this house there's actually a missing son of theirs who if he's alive actually is the the official owner of the home and what we don't know where he is but you have six months to try to find him and let him know and if you can't find him in those six months then the house is yours yeah try typing that on zillow that's not one of the tags you know he probably comes back one day going i'm looking for my frame where is it i've cleaned it for you actually and polished it and reframed it that's the chip coffee way he's like fine fine fine as long as you didn't show my sister's face again oh no so um now they are trying to figure this all out because they're like oh shit we have six months so they're putting classified ads everywhere trying to find this guy which is really honorable of them because i feel like my family would have been like let's just hope he doesn't show up for six months well i was gonna say why did they have to fucking look for him it does feel like it shouldn't be their job is but is that the like deal but also like how do you i check up on whether maybe that was just how it was back then i have no idea that's just how it was if you found a house go find here's the house and now find other people to take it from you by the way there is a creepy poem on the wall and it's for you like what so they went looking for this guy fun fact they never actually found that guy so they ended up keeping the house but while while they were looking into the family to figure out what this guy's name even was they learned that two of the kids that lived here died either in or nearby the property one definitely in the property one nearby um and so they ended up taking these discoveries and realizing that people have died in the home uh all of a sudden activity starts picking up in this house a little overdue if you ask me because everything else after finding the girl's picture i'd be like yeah where are you just show yourself babe i'm so over this the portal already welcomed me inside to meet you where are you you like you're supposed to say surprise now surprise a quote from chip coffee he says i remember the pine cone incident perfectly my dad and i were sitting down and watching tv at christmas time there were all these decorations and glittered pine cones by and say we used to live here can we check out the house and the guy walks around the house and is telling them stories about when he was a kid there and then he looks at the family the coffee family who also have their own ghosts that they've just invited into the building oh and this man says have you seen anything strange since you've moved in shut up and he says when he was a little kid they used to see a huge shaggy creature with thick heavy hoof prints and he called it the wang doodle i rebuke it again i don't know if you heard me the first time all of this is out for me thank you so much well what's extra horrifying about this is that right before this guy showed up on their property chip coffee's parents had been seeing really heavy thick hoof prints in the ground oh my god and they're like oh nice a horse oh god what am i what have i been petting this whole time jersey devil in our forest holy fuck and it later became a thing where like chip coffee would hear this monster i don't like that trying to break into their house at night or was like like walking around really heavy and moving things around on the porch and every when he would go out there later and see what was going on there would always be heavy hoof prints in the front yard i just can't abide by any of that horrifying so um anyway that's his like young childhood all of his experiences up to this point had him really hooked on leaning into the supernatural obviously it was normalized in his family they have the murphy ghost he's got this wang doodle he's dealing with and not another one and he taught himself tarot um he got prescriptions to paranormal magazines there was a soap opera that he loved that we need to get into called dark shadows which was apparently yes i've heard of that oh you have okay well i believe so well he was obsessed with that and then he started actually telling what sorry yeah yeah i definitely know dark shadows yes i need to get into it then he um started telling some of his close friends that he could trust that he was able to like predict events before they happened and by 10 he was giving his friends private readings that's amazing i remember that fact from one of the psychic kids episodes and i was like 10 yeah so cool i remember when deirdre just got in deirdre got into tarot and would make us come over so she could do readings for us but also she was like 12 so who knows she could just be making shit up but it was i know i wish i i always wish i had the balls to actually make stuff up like then i would have been doing this years ago you know what i mean like i just can't commit to the bit like that like fair enough i can't like boldly like i would just be giggling or making but yeah that that that feels like something powerful that you could do as a kid just make it all up oh my god especially before the internet no one can even fact check no one can fucking fact check you until sporkle comes around or whatever the fuck it was called or no what was the thing oh yeah so um these close friends that he felt like he could share that with they were awesome they encouraged him to keep it up and then his parents also had two family friends that were into the supernatural and they also normalized it and made it feel like made him feel like he could go through um dealing with this and learning about it and one family friend actually had a husband who passed and chip knew it happened before anyone else told him because fun fact in his family they have the coffees have this thing we're like oh if you see a dove in the house and it flies diagonally across the room it means someone you love just died can you imagine that happening enough fucking times where you're like literally i was about i'd go okay but like think about it like think about seeing a good sideways across the room and then think oh no maybe i maybe that was something else you know like how do you there's no like there it's not like oh did i hear a knock or no maybe i was imagining it you know like you're like oh fuck yeah the sideways dog is back yeah oh shit the second it flies diagonally i i and also bye if i just saw a bird in my house i wouldn't even have time to think is it a dove i just be like how the fuck do i get this bird out of my house i think you'd be the dead person yeah i think so i wouldn't see it i wouldn't see it hit the other side of the room i just go faint yeah well so i guess he's they knew that one of the family friends who is all into the supernatural her husband was sick and then he like saw a dove in the house and it flew diagonally and then his mom called him and he was like i already know he died so crazy and the dove told me by the way his mom i know i said that his mom has her own psychic gifts i need to tell you it's very quick one of her own experiences where apparently she predicted elvis's death because she had a dream of elvis's mother which how did she know who she was um well i think she was probably pretty famous elvis's mom really am i stupid i don't know elvis was so effing famous i guess i don't know i guess i know what justin beaver's mom looks like right exactly um or like i don't know people know what like taylor i mean i don't really know but like taylor swift's yeah i don't know everyone the jonas brother's dad they know yeah i mean his brother they know frankie broke franklin jonas they kind of all look the same to me but well apparently elvis's mom appeared to her in a dream and said you need to help someone needs to do something or else elvis is going to die in his bathroom of an od seven days from right now no and wait that's so sad she was trying to find somebody and honestly intervene i wonder like was she just trying to find anyone with those abilities and went to whoever could hear her because uh chip coffee's mom later told him like i just had the stream and chip coffee was like why would elvis's mother come to you what like what is going on but then seven days later on the radio they heard that elvis died in his bathroom of an od um oh apparently he and his mother were very very close oh that's so sad um after okay so he he graduated from um dorman high school chip coffee did he graduated from dorman high he was really into theater there he did acting producing writing and after high school he ends up going to elmira college where he got a degree in counseling and psychology um while he's not actively being a psychic i mean he has the abilities but he's like not chip coffee yet um he's really into theater because he was in high school he's worked for many theater companies including kids music theaters he worked as a social worker and now he's a travel agent this is very important what so he becomes a travel agent and up at this up until this point he's only been able to access some of his abilities he's really not told anybody about it but then while he's working at this travel agency he gets tight with a co-worker and this is when the floodgates fucking crack open for him oh boy oh boy he is uh he has a co-worker named pat we love pat we love pat we love pat we love pat uh pat is his co-worker at the travel agency and she's really into like the mystical mediumship stuff um by the way this whole story coming up that i'm about to tell is from his book but he talks about in other interviews too but it was really well what's his book called again growing up psychic okay um so out of nowhere he's like hanging out with pat and he she he knows that she's into this stuff and then out of nowhere he hears a voice in his head of a man saying tell pat hi for me and uh it keeps happening and he's like this is like i don't know what their guides are teaming up here yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah he's like i don't know what's going on but there's like some voice telling me tell pat hi for me and he's saying this to pat and because she's open-minded to it she's like what else is it saying and then he gets that it's it's a guy whose name starts with a t and he's like like tommy or tony or something and then pat goes i had a brother named tony who died in a car crash gasp and so chip runs with it pat is so about this she's like tell me everything chip runs with it and says that he feels like tony didn't actually die in the car crash and he's like i don't know what's going on and then chip starts feeling this pressure in his head and a pop and pat said yeah tony wasn't a car crash but he had a brain aneurysm while driving and that's what caused the car crash no way see that's and that's what he like to this day can do like in these places it's amazing just started out of nowhere like he was like it's amazing he then got the number six which i think was how many like hours or days or weeks he survived in the hospital um he was able to get that tony the last time he saw pat they went out for ice cream together um and then he was able to say oh as you know tony saw you pat at the icu the night before he died and pat said that's not true tony was in a coma he never woke up he wouldn't have known that and then she said i guess he said something to the effect of like uh chip heard tony say like no i was there you little shit or something and that's like how he used to refer to his like sister yeah yeah yeah and so then pat was asked him what i was wearing since he had those eyes open he was about to say yeah yeah and chip immediately saw in his eye in his head like the tablecloth in italian restaurants like the gingham red and white check oh yeah and that was the type of dress she was wearing oh my god so this was the beginning of chip coffee's mediumship abilities another time that happened um very early on was at his dad's funeral he actually saw his dad who had both of his legs even though he was an amputee um and he was able to say like take care of your mom for me and then vanish but up and like that was the first two times anything like that had ever happened wow um and after this happened chip was like oh shit well i guess like i have some new powers kicking in like i'm gonna do some as a side hustle do some readings for people while i'm at the travel agency but then 9-11 happens oh whoopsies that'll put a damper on it yeah so all of a sudden no one wanted to travel so his job as a travel agent was no mas no ma yeah no more um uh but he he remembers actually talking to himself uh at i i don't know when on this day but on 9-11 i guess he knew his fucking career was over and he went well i guess i'm a full-time psychic now like he's like wow this yeah wow that yeah i guess that's where you gotta go next i'm just gonna fall back on that so to gain traction he started going to conferences and conventions and he met other investigators um that's how he met an investigator named patty star who like took him on overnights and um all this kind of stuff many creepy things happened on his first overnight with her were like the other crew members phones started ringing and said chip coffee was calling them but he was nowhere near his phone and did not have their phone number um and he was not using his caller id and he's like i would know better than anybody his megaphone yeah he's like i would know if i were calling he looks at a phone and goes me also at one of the look that same location i think no wonder he calls himself so many things oh my god it all makes sense so he basically um also on that on that investigation by the way he saw a little girl and then days or weeks later after they all left that house the owner of the house was in there now and his phone started ringing a lot and every time he answered it it was a little girl on the phone saying oh i want to play with chloe i want to play with chloe where's chloe i want to come downstairs and he realized after like two or three phone calls that this little girl was talking about his dog chloe and he talked back into the phone when she called a different time was like i want to play with chloe uh he said are you talking about my dog and then the line goes dead that is so spooky i don't like that whatever was there knew how to use a phone multiple times freaky so okay um through working with patty who was the one that took him on all these investigations and and all that we love that we love that uh she basically said um oh i have this like kind of gig like uh a and e has a show coming out called airline or there's a show called airline and they want us to come on for a spot it was like in its third season or something and this is the southwest show so man man i need this man's birth chart i gotta look it up this is amazing he really just stumbles into some cool shit so that's amazing allegedly this was his first ever tv thing as a psychic but again i looked everywhere for it i could not find this episode but from this episode on airline he found out that a and e is doing another project soon calling paranormal called paranormal state oh yes oh yes oh yes where he did over 30 episodes for them he did a lot of work on the show and he did a lot of work on the show and he did a lot of work on the show and he does vouch that he was like i always went in there totally blind i have no idea what was going on if you're wondering if that was all fake and phony like i'm telling you i was as authentic as can be for those who don't know paranormal state is a play on penn state because the show followed students from penn state investigating people's houses but i have to tell you uh like i just did not care for this fucking show um yeah yeah i'll get into that i don't know that i ever watched it like i'm like i know it is but i don't think i ever watched it basically penn state students go into people's haunted houses and i don't think that i want to watch that though in 20 minutes they not only investigate the house but also like decide that there's a demon every time and then like are able to call lorraine warren warren on fucking speed dial and then they bless the house i'm like how like this is obviously a and e money like there's no way you just know lorraine warren and she's just stopping over all the time in pennsylvania on on the same day that you're there um so anyway i i watched you mean like it feels too produced or what it was very produced and i'll get into it in a second hang on okay okay but um i i watched two episodes of it that were specifically about him one was his first appearance on the show you mean chip coffee chip coffee sorry yeah okay okay um i watched two episodes of paranormal state the first one i watched was actually just episode two that's the first time chip coffee appears the other one i watched was the following episode episode three because chip coffee in an episode two was the first time interview said that that was the scariest thing that ever happened to him so i wanted to watch both of them now the thing that he said was the scariest thing that ever happened to him quote he heard a very masculine guttural demonic sounding voice come out of the body of a three-year old little girl that was not in this episode so i think someone put the wrong source with that quote so i ended up watching that for nothing um but then the one where he had his first appearance i did watch that and i was gonna talk more about paranormal state but it was honestly like i'm sorry like i'm i don't doubt chip coffee's abilities but watching that show maybe now because it's 2026 and we've both done stuff with tv before and we've both done stuff with ghost hunting and cameras right we yeah it's just like such a goddamn joke i'm sorry like whoopsies it's a joke um chip seems to be fine i i trust that he was trying to be as authentic as possible but the host felt very shady to me um and then i found out after watching those episodes that he was he was later arrested for fraud and theft and scamming people out of money whoopsies oh that's right that's that guy yeah right yes what's his name buell that's right i remember i got into a rabbit hole one night that's why i know about that because i went to a rabbit hole my snark channels you see sometimes they get a little weird and i i remember being in that rabbit hole he also maybe lied about having cancer and then um like he i remember that too he had he was hosting like some sort of paranormal convention um and taking that money from fans instead of actually creating the convention he allegedly paid for treatments but we don't even know if the cancer thing is true and i say that because it sounds like even his mom didn't know about his medical situation and anyway the show seemed very fake um also lorraine warren making an appearance so much was odd to me um and what was also odd to me is how many times they were just loosey-goosey letting like people host exorcisms in there i was like i thought the roman catholic church was so odd about this and like so hush-hush about this but now we're just filming it for fun multiple times and in one episode he oh and the one that i ended up watching that i didn't need to episode three there it was literally like it was clearly like a family like struggling and like there was clearly maybe some like depression going on or something oh i've seen this episode he was just calling them dirty was really like disturbed by he kept calling them and then said the only thing that like uh you're haunted and it's your fault because you're you're bringing in this energy so it's your fault that this is happening and the only way to fix it is to clean your house to like show that you're trying to create order in your house or something but like it was just very odd he was like one of the big challenges of tonight is going to be having to step around all their stuff and i was like ew what is your deal god yeah no he like there was a one episode about like mental health and i was like yo this is a child like really struggling or something and like he was just like getting so pushy and i was like this has bad vibes yeah he also claimed at like 23 that the roman catholic church personally calls him with paranormal cases i was like what are you fucking talking about i just didn't understand well lorraine warren shows up so i don't know yeah shit i don't know so i don't know if it was him or the producers but they were also making like the storyline seem like like one of the big things we need to know about this host in every episode is that he's attached there's a demon attached to him and the two of them are in cahoots or some shit like that i don't know it was very odd so anyway chip coffee was there the guttural thing did not happen the voice that did not happen um but he does not have a voice so he's like oh my god over 30 episodes of the show he's actually even gone on to interview saying that his relationship with that guy is kind of uh rocky i would imagine it would probably have to be at some point but while doing this a and e's crew noticed how kind he was to the victims chip coffee and they asked if he wanted to do another project which led to a documentary called psychic kids where chip would mentor children with abilities oh it's so good and after the documentary came out they got thousands of families asking for help like literally they got like 6 000 applications for kids with weird experiences and so it ended up becoming a whole show and then after psychic kids the show uh came out chip was asked so many questions non-stop over and over again about what to do with your kid if they have abilities so that's when he decided to write growing up psychic i love that and now we're in the epilogue since 1983 he has lived in atlanta he uh has done paranormal reading tours called coffee talk which i love um when not working he actively turns his mediumship abilities off a quote of his is i'm not running a hampton inn for the dead at my house this isn't grand central station and i went i'm running the hamptons in my in my i'm in no but what's the one you just said earlier faldamac or whatever condolence uh yeah yeah yeah yeah uh wow so he works with many is that in wyoming i said it wasn't wait i have to check where well i know but now i have to make sure fondalak oh thank god it's wisconsin okay well he works with many charity organizations and animal rescues um on his website he lists all of his dogs that he calls his beautiful girls and some of them have passed and some of them are current oh angels the one spirit that he always hoped to see was his mother and after nine years he finally saw her for just a few seconds i said this earlier but he's very big on his faith he believes that all of us have abilities he says that psychic being psychic is quote accessing information or energy that you cannot gain with your other five human senses yes that's exactly and like it i think it's silly to think we only have five senses right like yeah six cents sure yeah right but like yeah senses of like being like we have all sorts of like spidey senses and like being watched and like all that kind of stuff yes true so he so i yeah i i totally agree he believes we all have abilities it just depends on how accessible it is for you he believes in karma he believes in reincarnation he believes that we should all be present and grateful in each life and one of the reasons we don't know our other lives is to be able to focus on this one he believes that we should all intend to help others and do good he is not afraid of death he says that death is not the end and he's quoted saying while i'm not terribly afraid to die i'm quite content hanging out for now in 3d hey thank god he don't go anywhere please he does claim to be 100 right in his readings um but he loves what he does and i wanted to end on this fun fact specifically for you christine this is a quote from him he probably wouldn't let his kids use a ouija board you know what um i'm just saying i'll take that into consideration for 0.5 seconds okay and then also i wouldn't let my kids hold a butter knife so like what the fuck i like i yeah i would also not let my kid use a ouija board let me put that out there because my kid is leona and i'm not going to let him use a ouija board i'm going to let him use a she's gonna do something really fucked up to my house right now she's just downstairs with the ouija board and like a random she really could be it's starting to make me wonder i'm like wait a minute has anyone checked where the ouija board is but um yeah i also wouldn't give my kid like most items you know so it's like i guess it depends on how old they are but even then it's like wait till the frontal lobe is formed right like i mean i didn't like i actively was using one as a child but you know just saying and i regret nothing to be clear to be super clear oh we don't we are not you have you have regrets you've had regrets about that for a long instead was uh old faithful i pulled out a haunted road atlas next stop and i opened to a random page and it was boise idaho and i thought to myself oh boy see uh i was gonna say it if you didn't i did not think that i didn't think that to myself organically in the exact moment that you saw boise it's crazy you know i wish i i wish i had um but my story here is the boise murder house and so i was like reading this and i was like what the hell and so then i started i mean i remember the story but i was like i wonder if there's any more information that being said it is like an up-to-date story because i checked so i'm going to tell you the story and also insert some of my some of our because you're you have some of the best little um this was like i literally was like this is one of the best like little comebacks you know the blurbs yeah yeah okay so let's see this is a place called either the murder house of boise or the chop chop house oh my god which i feel like is very distasteful and like uh hmm depend like you'll see spoiler alert what's gonna happen here okay uh-huh so built in 1910 it has a history uh of just a really gruesome murder so on june 30th 1987 there these two men who were living in the home um in like this matter of it was almost like a it's so disturbing it reminds me of like it's like a close call uh we'll get to it these two men ended up killing a 21 year old man named preston murr in the basement of this house before then dismembering his body and hiding it throughout town whoa and like different parts of him throughout different parts of the city scattered jesus christ yeah so we're not sure like how the this is one of the frustration points for me at least researching is like we don't know what the altercation was about or what happened but around midnight um 31 year old darren cox 37 year old daniel rogers ganged up on this guy it was 1987 and they shot him in the shoulder out of a movie he like makes a run for it escapes the house starts banging on the door and then as the neighbor is like going to check what's going on he just hears the banging turn into shouts of let me go let me go as the person is being dragged away from the front door back to where they came from oh my god and i had a blurb to say about this at some point i know well to be fair it's not on this page oh my god it's not on this page i like this is out of a horror movie so this guy runs next door starts banging on it after he's already been shot the neighbor is approaching the front door his own front door hearing like in the middle of the night this guy banging like saying help help and then the screams for help turn into let me go and it's like getting farther and farther away and he does not open the door like good that's the right thing to do um however he and he does call the police so he does everything right okay but the police are like eh we're not worried about it of course it's like a man was just dragged screaming from my home um but to be fair like what is he gonna do so he calls the police he goes to bed now he probably had a weird night of sleep i don't know i would but i would but what the next morning was it was rough he opened the front door to find blood everywhere so he hadn't realized right because it was the middle of the night he just heard the banging he didn't open the door he just called the police you know like we're not worried about it stabbing or something he didn't know the guy was bleeding um and so he had been shot um but yeah so he he sees the front door is covered in blood and he's like uh uh-oh i hope the police responded last night they didn't um by the way oh this is the blurb let me say it because it is on the next part i i wrote here the following morning the neighbor woke from what i imagine was a sleepless night to find his front door covered in blood to which m says which 100 caused another sleepless and then i wrote and hope yeah hopefully the end of his lease so that's our fun little banter we we take it where we can you know yeah exactly so anyway he he calls the police um again and is like remember how i called you last night like did you come out here because it's not looking good and they're like uh we didn't but we're gonna come out now so they arrived to a gruesome site not only is this guy's porch and like front stoop cover and door covered in blood there's a trail of it right like leading back i know it's horrifying and nope is it just the two of them that they're only those two apartments or whatever like is nobody else seeing this trail of blood and calling the police again no it was just there were several houses but it was just like from the porch i guess nobody would have seen it it went back to the basement door of this other house oh it's so sinister man it's so sinister went all the way back to the house at 805 west linden um rogers and cox had dragged murr like screaming back into the basement before firing a final fatal gunshot to the back of his head and of course as if this isn't already like just horror movie gruesome enough um they like i said dismembered him um they used an axe and they cut him into 26 pieces and then they wrapped them in plastic loaded them into the car drove to the idaho oregon border and scattered them throughout like the the reservoir there and oh it's just so sick man and um approximately one week later is when these pieces started to be recovered um so cox was sentenced to rogers was sentenced to life without parole at the idaho state correctional center um the house has had a lot of residents including many college students so they're um it's boise state university and um it's very close it's not technically campus housing but it's often used as off-campus housing um and like i wrote in here like imagine being in the basement like for beer pong or something it's like somebody you know what i mean like it's just like i don't think that house could have any good i don't know i'd be really weirded out by that you know like way too far in the future when it's like not even something people care about it's gonna be like just some crazy old lore that they tell oh yeah yeah yeah and it's gonna like it turned into some like really dramatic yeah i mean it is already dramatic but you know what i mean did you see there's a there's a tiktok of some a guy who lives in the house that ted bundy used to and he like poses himself in the like the infamous pictures of ted bundy in the house like recreate the picture to be like look how fucking eerie this is and it's so weird because like the house has not changed one percent since ted bundy lived there it looks like he just walked into a place that's still currently by ted bundy and it's so weird to just see like like there's a picture that everyone knows like ted bundy like by a fireplace like holding his girlfriend and he like redid it it's like so creepy uh i don't know why i brought that up i'm sorry but it's just made just this just made me think of that where it's like no but you're right it's like this like it's like this it's like well we talk about like would what is your thing would you wear the shirt of a murderer or whatever or something yeah or it's like yeah and you know what some people are probably like yeah i don't care and it like for them it literally doesn't matter but for me where i'm like i care it's like well now it matters all of a sudden i'm like it's got energy it's got something on it or yeah so i'm sure they weren't like using this also as a selling point when like renting this place out i don't i but like you said i'm sure there was some like lore or whatever um okay so while most residents haven't reported like outright hauntings beyond like the place is so creepy um there were a few incidents so one former resident claimed that being in the basement for more than a few minutes was so unbearable because of the dark oppressive energy that you like couldn't handle even staying down there we know what that feels like in certain places another uh recalls canvassing the house one night after hearing what sounded like a crashing like break-in to the house and he left the house to like can't like case the building to see if like anything had been broken into and when he looked back at his own freaking house he saw a big black oily looking thing in the bedroom window quote unquote and the shadowy figure moved from the window toward his bedroom door and vanished then reappeared on the porch and was reflected in a mirror that like he had on the porch he's like explaining every little detail that happened here and then passed through his what the fuck oh my god this is where you're you wrote you wrote what is it called what do we call it a blurb uh a blurb you wrote if a ball if a ball of sentient oil passing through your body doesn't i've been thinking about this all day i'm sorry i know i'm so distracted but i've been thinking about this quote this blurb all day all day if a ball of sentient oil passing through your body doesn't unsettle you take that big ass red flag and get away from me and i was like what the fuck well i've been thinking get that big ass red flag away from me from or get take that big ass red flag and get away from me like because then you started saying like walk through the open the door and walk through it and all that and like it sounds like he's just kind of waltzing by this thing and it's not affecting him at all it's sort of like he's like yep then it did this then it did this i stand by what i fucking said i'm like if you're just okay with that then like i can't be near you then it's like you should be it's that's the same thing though it's like then you should be living in that house because clearly it doesn't fucking phase you any bit no not for me not for me but the fact that like you're like i heard a break-in then you leave the house look around and see someone in your they can like get anything in the windows um you know don't trespass please um i'm so what was the name of that creature that chip coffee just so lovingly referred to the wang doodle the wang doodle derger derger how do you say that uh the wang doodle yeah i just feel like don't trespass i just feel like i just thought of the hoof prints i don't know why that came to mind um a lot of words man yeah what's happening um i don't know if you do go look at it you know take pictures but just stay out or the wang doodle will get you the wang doodle she's gonna eat you up yeah so that's my that's scarier shit at us on stage they have yeah and we're podcasters okay anyway uh that's all okay great um i will say the only update since then that involves boise is um i've been there and eaten potatoes and they're pretty good but um i i totally forgot about this story and i did not remember the sentient ball of goo yeah i think you wouldn't have gone anyway and also i think you wouldn't have really enjoyed it because i think it was just it's just a side road and like you just have to like just it's not anything that exciting since we have a second to chat about it this this little ball of whatever do you think it was also sticky because that would fucking ruin my day on top of everything else he said greasy oh god all over your clothes because then greasy you know what greasy does it gets sticky because stuff sticks to the grease and then suddenly you got sticky grease and you're if you're wearing any clothes you wear are fucked although i will tell you i just last night i got grease on a sweatshirt that i just bought and so i went to the kitchen of this restaurant i just stood there just waited for some swinging doors and i went might you spare some uh dawn dish soap from your dishwasher uh because dishwasher soap gets the grease out and they were like did you get grease yeah yeah let me help you like they were so quick to be helpful and just like i think they were just wanted to desperately like squirt someone with a bottle of soap like in a cartoon because they just went right on me and then i scrubbed out it was good it was lovely so i would need a whole lot of dawn dish soap if i ever ran into this fucking ball yeah you'd be like one of those ducklings do you think it was shiny i mean yeah because i think he said it was shiny didn't he he gave a very did you have a problem with his description i am forgetting most of it once i heard that it went to be fair i said a lot i said so many words at once and they were all like really dramatic words to be fair it went inside i didn't miss that right greasy oily it went through passed through him you know your first fucking plan of action i was to go to a doctor and like what if that stuff is in you like what if it like what if it's like poison m m's like m's like fucking spinning out about this like medical malady that doesn't exist and that probably was somebody's sleep paralysis i'm like can you just do an x-ray and if there's a lot of grease out of nowhere can you just it looks like there's been an and they're gonna just like put what like put squirt dawn down your throat like what do you want that's a good point i guess i'm just stuck you're gonna be a duckling again oh it'd be terrible oh my god oh my gosh well what do you think about that you're hanging out with that little leona of yours uh um yes i am hanging out with gg or the kitty cats or all of them all of them all of those stinky furry creatures and yeah um live in the dream just another thursday well i guess have fun on your travels thank you i i'm trying to knock some of these things off my list so we'll see how far i end up because i do have to get home eventually but um i'm just doing another road trip and as far as i can get is as far as i'll get so wow that's beautifully put and like it wherever you are you're already there wow hey you should write that down you should put that on a shirt they don't
