Hello, I salute. That's a superflex salute for everyone. Nice. I know you're a big superflex guy, Mike. So, let's see you. We're doing a superflex draft, everyone. Nice to see you come around, man. I mean, come on. 20-26, Mike. Geez. This is the only way to play. Come on. No, I am excited to do this, Mark, though. I'm excited to do a mock, because where we will be on the board is very different spots. And I know people's personalities. I've drafted with you guys, I'm in leagues with you guys. So, like, Bets, he likes to just go wide receivers just so he can have a really, really sexy starting lineup. I mean, I'm telling you, he's like, I want five wide receivers. But I feel like he's going to be tested. Like, his co-honets are going to be tested on this podcast. Okay. Well, picking in the 11th spot, this is what we talked about in other iterations where you have questions from listeners or whatever, where it's like, do you have to take quarterback at this point, or can you risk, you know, being several picks away from your third round pick? And if the quarterback run happens, you're potentially screwed. So, we'll see, like Kyle said, my temptation is to always just hammer elite wide receivers in startup drafts. But obviously, Superflex will change that equation potentially based off the board. I gave myself what I think is one of the harder spots, because it's to me is right where the tier breaks of taking a top tier elite quarterback or taking one of the wideouts. Yeah, Mike said that. So we'll see, stand by. He could take none. He could just say I'm not doing any of it. It's just a mock. It's a kicker premium league, Kyle. I don't know if you know about that. Oh, I know a lot about that. I know too much about that. I ended my kicking crusade. I held strong, man. I feel like for a while. I really tried. And then I just said this isn't worth it. So we'll see. Yeah, we get a lot of requests from people to do different mocks. One of the ones that's always interesting to me is people want us to do an auction mock, which I'm an auction league. It's one of my home leagues. The problem with that is like they call it a mocksion. Kyle. They do. But also like there's not real skin in the game. You should do an auction with real. The handle is real. How long an auction draft goes? Yes, to handle how long, but also like in a real draft. And I'll be like, I'll just let this player go because like, because in a mock, that's how it's going to go. So we do have tools in the ultimate draft kit that if you want to see how people go in startup drafts, if you want to see how people go in your home leagues, you can find all of those. But like the best type of practice is just figuring out all the different scenarios. And so part of this episode is doing that for superflex and things change. Like whatever you're going to see in this mock, you're going to get into a real draft and things are going to change. And that's okay. We're trying to give you the tools, trying to give you everything you need. Mike, I know that all of our projections and stuff, they keep updating every single day. Yes, I do. It's like today, you're like, Hey, Jacobi, he reported to work today, it changed nothing. Jacobi reported to work guys, but is not practicing. Jacobi reset appears to be staging a hold in. Yeah, I don't think he's doing a very good job, man. One of the teams, NFC West, just traded for the defensive player of the year. It may go down as the best pass rusher in history. The other team has Jacobi percent holding in for more money to be the starting quarterback. Man, Jacobi, you went rogue, man. Well, all that success from the O and eight runner, whatever was last year, get to his head. Like you see what I did for Michael Wilson, you want more of that? I wish I could get credit. I don't know who the tweet was from, but somebody tweeted like, is this the worst player ever? And no disrespect to Jacobi, like find back up career. Like the man has made tons of money for him. But like, is this the worst skill player ever? It's all down. Yes. And it might be. It certainly is. And when, but I do have it on good authority, they had a meeting and they were like Jacobi. What on earth makes you think that we are going to give you more money? And then he just holds up a photo of Carson Beck. And they're like, oh, that's a strong point, Mr. Percent. You make a strong point. So they're thinking about it. That's his leverage right now. Because right now it is, I'm showing up to work and not doing anything. Which I was joking earlier, like imagine doing that in any other job setting. Like, hey, by the way, I'm here. But I'm not going to do anything. I'm going to tell my boss. You got this report ready for me? No. It is a very funny thing of, it's the market. You got it. If you're in it, get paid. What's your worth? I understand that. But it's just for the outside is when he's like, hey, $5 million for this year is not enough. Not good enough for Jacobi Percent. You're like, what? Yes, it is. Yes, it definitely is. Go play. Yeah, get out there. Go play. Come on, Jacobi. We need you. All our rankings, all the projections, find them ultimate draft kit dot com. Let's jump into it. The fantasy footballers mock draft. This is a super flex startup draft. So we'll be starting a quarterback in a super flex spot, two running backs, two wide receivers, two flex, tighten. And then we'll see how many bench spots we get to in this draft. I'm sorry if you don't want to stick around to see our 25th round pick, I wouldn't because those guys aren't going to be on the roster. I won't be here for that either. Okay. Cool. I'm glad that we're agreed on that. I will be drafted from the two spot, Mike at the five bets at the 11. I know for some people, they like third round reversals, all that stuff is just a regular snake draft. And in super flex, I think we all expected it. Josh Allen goes one on one, that's who I would have taken at the one on one. And I'm actually only considering two players for me. It's either Drake May, who would be our second rank quarterback we have in the UDK plus, or is Jamar Chase? Would you guys say those are the two? Oh, no, I look as much scrap as I give the super flex people, like I said, there are five quarterbacks that I am open to drafting before taking Jamar. Okay. Drake May is in strong contention here for me. But the other pick would be Jamar Chase's companion on the field. I still have Joe Burrow ranked very high. I think that his skill set translates, I mean, he's Joe Burrow's almost 30, which is a travesty that I feel like Joe, like we have ton of the Josh Allen, the Josh Allen career is legendary already. I know Burrow has made it to the Super Bowl, but it's like Allen with all of those, the AFC championship games and things like I feel like he's already in that feels like a legendary quarterback where Burrow doesn't feel like that except I feel like Burrow still has, he has a ton of time. Like I could see Burrow playing at a high level close to 40 years old. Yeah. I think the thing with Allen is like, he already has the most rushing touchdowns of all time for a quarterback and we're like, what, seven, eight years in. Yeah. And you're just going to keep for fantasy purposes, probably will go down as the greatest fantasy quarter. It will. Yeah. The rushing touchdown, the rushing stuff will slow down like he's that about or he's hitting right around that window where you got the legendary mobile quarterbacks have to start changing their game. But he is also different as he remains an absolute unit. So he can, he can keep running dudes over. All right. So I took May at 102, and then it was Jamar Chase and Beige on Robinson at 103 and 104 and Mike. Oh, three and four. They don't care about your super flex. What do you think in here? And that makes it easier for him. I'm going to take Joe Burrow. Okay. I thought I was going to have a tough decision, but I do not. I, to me, I probably would have taken Daniels over Burrow just because I want a little bit of. I get it. Backed though and I know Burrow's injury history is legendary. It's like, I believe in Jaden, you know, I'm, I'm not saying anything bad of, he's my, he's my number four pick and a startup in first for super flex. I just, I know without a shadow of it out that Joe Burrow is an elite quarterback. Are we, are we 100% confident that Jaden is going to, is that dude? If you wanted to just be the tiebreaker of which team, do I think has a better environment for scoring right now? I think you can argue Burrow and just, just go with the weapons because we still have to figure out what is Washington and then what is Washington two years from now with Terri McClure and, you know, where he's at. So I don't mind that at all. Mike took burrow at 105 then Gibbs, Jassen, Daniels went off the board at 108. then Puka 109 and Brock Bowers at 110. - So at the 11 spot-- - You have any problems with this, guys, that you take it up with Sleeper's draft AI. - Yeah, this is not us, okay? We would take all the quarterbacks. - Every single one from one to 32, and then we would take players after that. At the 11 spot, it's kind of nice being close to the turn here because I'm looking at basically a wide receiver for me and quarterback, and I'm looking at like, what are the wide receivers available? It's like, you know, Almanra, Malik neighbors, Justin Jefferson, CD, Drake London, like a pretty big tier of guys I feel really good about. At quarterback, same thing. Like, maybe you say Lamar is above these guys, but I'd be cool with Lamar is my quarterback one, Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hertz. I'm gonna take the wide receiver and see what quarterback falls to me here. I don't know that I would do this if I was at a different slot in the draft, but because I'm at the turn here and I can just come right back and grab a quarterback, I feel pretty good about that. So I'll take Almanra off the ground. - Yeah, you're gonna risk Lamar, huh? - Yeah, he came back. - It worked. - What is? - I mean, I don't know, I don't know if this will actually happen. It is super flexible. - There's no way. - That's fine, we're gonna keep going. - But for the screenshot equity, I mean, this is gonna hit. Come on, like Lamar in the second and it's super fast. - At the 11th pick, getting Almanra and then Lamar Jackson is pretty ridiculous. - So it's interesting when you have people that all, you know, listen to the same podcast or look at the same rankings or talk about this all the time. There is a tendency to want to zig while the people are zagging, then everybody ends up like zicking together. And so you look up in certain drafts where it's like, oh, everybody went, you know. - No one's zagged. - Yeah, no one did. No one, like everyone ended up at like the same place of taking White receivers. So like team 12, start off with neighbors Jefferson. That can work. And also, if you started that in a one quarterback league, you're like my team rocks. My team's awesome. So, I think it can work, but bets you started Almanra and Lamar Jackson. And then the rest of the second round with H&N, Kayla Williams, who is the sixth quarterback off the board. I want to pause there real quick. Do you feel like, like do you have them there, Mike? - I don't, I mean, I don't have them that far off. I still, I still hold on tight to sweet Patrick Mom's of what he could, the problem, so the issue with Patrick Mom's is the greatness is still there. He is, he's 30, he'll be turning 31 this year. If they, they can retool some things. I feel like we talked about this on the main show of just stuff. Like Tom Brady the goat had down years for fantasy football. They retool the team and then you're like, or even, you know, the end of Tom Brady's career. He changes teams. He goes to Bruce Ariens who has the high flying system. They have the players to do it. And Tom Brady's putting up crazy stats. Like my homes could easily, in my opinion, bounce back to where, there's that any moment next year. We're like, oh my gosh, how stupid are we all for not remaining strong on Patrick Mom's home? So I still have him up there. Like, I have Dart, one quarterback spot ahead of Caleb. Although that feels dangerous. Just of what, what Dart gives you on the ground. I, I think I'd take the chance on him over Caleb. And it's not just you Mike. I mean, Andy and Jason both have Caleb behind Herbert, behind Jackson Dart. So it's a consensus thing. Yeah, like, he doesn't feel like a QB1 to me. He feels like a high upside low end guy that I hope can become this every single season. When the ride's kind of been up and down the last two years, really, just up and down, up and down. So I don't know if I feel like super comfortable with him as my quarterback one. But after that was Jeremiah Love, Tramick Bride and Ashton Gentian, then Mike is on the clock at 208. So Jackson Dart is there, Hertz, Herbert. Oh, man, if it took Herbert, how many does Kyle just instantly start crying on air? I just, I would be really proud of you for, you know, coming to and realizing having this epiphany right now. Yeah, but I'm not going to do that. So Dart, my homes at the White receiver position, because we're running backs. We're already at Hampton, Taylor, James Cook, Chase Brown. Like great players, just some view Hampton as a full on just a foundational rock solid piece at the running back position. I don't know if I'm there yet. White receivers, though, CDLAM, Drake London, McMillan, George Pickens, I mean, you have some really high end guys there, but I'm going to try it, guys, because we're doing a mock. Mock is all about do some things that you wouldn't normally do. And let's see how your team shakes out. See if you like it. I'm going to take Dart. I'm going to start burrow and dart. When you take two quarterbacks in a superflex, is that high T low T? What is this considered here? It's a question. Let's consult our superflex expert Kyle. I mean, some people would say this is the only way to play tennis football. So like, OK, so I'm only T. Yeah, you got nothing else there other than that. And the goal is for you to play around with this team and figure out, OK, if I did this early, if I had to take two quarterbacks, you know, in my first two rounds, then obviously you're going to wait to address the position, like you're never going to look at it until later. But what are you sacrificing? What's the opportunity cost? That's kind of the goal of this exercise. After Dart went CDLAM and Hampton, who, when you were just talking about it, I would love to get Hampton here around this two three turn. You're in on that. I'm in on it. I'm in on the chargers. But I, so it's weird. CDLAM would have been my other pick, by the way. I'll just throw that out quickly. The weird part about the chargers, because Herbert's kind of in range too, if I wanted my second quarterback, is I'm really in on this team for 2026. And yet I could also see McDaniel Parlay this into a head coaching job again a year from now. And it's like, oh, man, they're going to have to restart that whole system again. So I think wide receiver, I will feel bad if I do not get one of these wide receivers of Lamb, who just went London and McMillan. And so I'm going to take the $100 million guaranteed man, Drake London, as a homer pick, at the 2/11. Do you, do you guys feel London over McMillan? I do. Yeah, I think we just have a bigger sample size to kind of fall back on. London entered the league so young that I'm not using age as a huge tie breaker there. So I'll still take London. Okay, where are you guys with McMillan? Like, has that been, have you guys taken any futures on him on the DFS betting pod at all? We haven't. No, I mean, the talent is unbelievable. Oh, he's he's an outrageously great player. I think I get a true number one type of, of archetype. He's, I mean, he has to improve what he, I believe that he will. It's just for me, everything is, is Bryce Young, can Bryce Young get anywhere close to the level of passing yardage that it would take to turn Tedero and McMillan into a superstar. I feel like Drake London's actually an interesting comp for him, career-arquise, and obviously the situations are different where it was like the Arthur Smith thing for years and all that sort of stuff. But it's like Drake London's talent has been undeniable since he entered the league. It's just been scheme and supporting staff around him in quarterback play. And I feel like unless Bryce Young can level up, which generally speaking, this far into a player's career, they don't, I feel like we might be kind of wanting more for like another year and then another year. And then finally in year four were like, holy crap, there it was, the incredible season. So I think that's in Tedero's range of outcomes for this year. I just think it's a little bit lower given the Bryce Young situation, but Carolina's got a decision to make here in what, I guess, two years with the fifth year option and everything with Bryce Young. So we'll see, but yeah, I mean, the draft capital, the production, year one is a rookie. Everything you want from Tedero, McMillan, if you already have mine, you're roster. I don't think it would shock me if McMillan ended up with 150 plus targets this year. And I think there's few players that you could say that you could look at certain players that you hope break out or, you know, like Luther Burton, he's going to be somebody that I think we talked through at some point. And I was looking at him earlier like, man, where would I take him? It's like, I hope that he makes the jump to be the number one on that team. I know McMillan is, I know that he's going to see a 25 plus percent target show. He could see, like, he could have a season where he sees 28 to 30% of the targets. And you have, you finally have like this rush of touchdowns, like he could be a top five guy where I think it's really hard to find this young. So I mean, you need that, you need him being up at 28, 30% because he was at 25% last year and that was only 122 targets. But as a rookie, like, contextually for rookie, 25% is insane. Sure. I think that's who I'm going to take here, which feels funny taking two players that feel like they are the exact same player, like London, big millen, NFC, South, due to teams. So I'll take the targets and just, you know, this is a target only leak, by the way, I just declared it the scoring setting. So that's already just targets. So let's set quick break and then Michael will be right back. I did fail to mention that Colston Lovland did go at two, three turn. I know. He's gonna be somewhere on the board. - You couldn't get him, I know Kyle, I know. - Hey, I went back. Last year, apparently, I took him in this mock. - Oh god, I bet I told you he was gonna bring it up. - I know. - I told you he was gonna bring it up. - And you know what? - At the time, if I remember correctly, Kyle was like progressively like, all right, I guess I have to. - I was. - Yeah, 'cause Warren went the round before I was like, "Fired." - Yeah, you know me. I totally was bullied into doing something because everyone was telling me to do something so I did it. - I mean, I do like team one start. - I'm not gonna lie. Alan Herbert, Loveland. - I don't mind it either. After me, I took McMillan, then Johnny Taylor at 303, George Pickens at 304. So this team apparently loves some cowboys who are going for a cowboy stack. Mike, you're out. - I would have taken George there, which I know there is. George feels like a very high risk, high variance player right now. He'll be a cowboy this year. I think he'll dominate yet again. Then where does he go? I just, the, man. Some of those games last year are you're just, the talent and ability to just make stuff happen when there is absolutely nothing there that George was putting on the field this past year was outrageous. And just to remind people of like, George Pickens had almost, he had a 1140 yards, his sophomore year on a garbage Steelers offense. Like, it's not, it shouldn't be surprising the success he had once he was finally unleashed and had a truly competent quarterback. So I'm in on Pickens being awesome, moving forward no matter what happens, but he is not there for me. And so I'm gonna go, let me look at the running backs real quick. So James Cook, Chase Brown, Trevo. My dude, Ken Bone Walker. I think I'm gonna, I know I'm gonna pass. I'm gonna look at the wide receiver position. So ADP-wise, Nico, Olave, Ibuka, Garrett Wilson. Or do you go, you know, just take the complete unknown of Carnell Tate at this point. Man, between that four packet, I think it's very tough. Nico, Olave, Ibuka, and Garrett Wilson. My rankings have those four guys extremely tight. Oh, man, I'm gonna go with, I'm gonna go with my belief in what's going on with Kellin Moore and the Saints, though. I'm gonna take Chris Olave. - Did it feel like you were like, I have to take a wide receiver here because, if I don't get one of those four guys. - Yes. - Okay. - Yeah, the running backs, it's whatever. The running backs on the board will give you high-end production. But if I don't get one of those wide receivers right now, I think I will be starting a severe deficit. Even my quarterbacks should be strong, but you gotta have that wide receiver power. - We had a run on quarterbacks, which if people did wait, I don't know if quarterbacks traditionally show up here in Super Flex. These guys usually end up being at that two, three turn, but my home's hurts. Lawrence looked like pretty good values in the third round, then James Cook, and then at Buka, and now Betts is on the board. - Yeah, those quarterbacks that they would have fallen would have been really intriguing. Now looking at the quarterbacks that are there, it's like Tho-Nix, Brock Pertie, Dack, Love, Baker Mayfield, Jared Golf, Kim Ward. I'm cool with any of those guys. Honestly, there's a quarterback too in Super Flex, so I'm gonna pass on quarterback here and knowing the rhythm of the draft, I mean, the way that sleepers handling this does feel a little funky, but generally in a Super Flex, this is where it slows down a bit right around now, so I feel like if you go in on the quarterback, you're gonna be just the only, you're gonna be bidding against yourself. - Correct, almost. - I agree. And so for me, I like to keep going back to wide receiver. There are running backs that I'm intrigued by, but, man, full PPR, which this is, Kyle, I don't know if he told the people. - Every round, we add something new in the scoring. - Full point per target and reception, so you get a target and catch it at two points. I'm gonna go with Garrett Wilson. I debated Nico, the age difference here for me is enough to kind of sway towards Garrett Wilson, so I will take him here at the 311. - Would you have taken Hank Bukka over him? - It's a good question, probably, probably. - Okay, yeah, it's close. It's close with Edge. Then Warren and Bonix went at the top of the fourth round. We did talk like last week about party and Nick's in this range of guys that end up in the third fourth round. I feel like if you wait on quarterback, it's like a nice little consolation prize. So, 402 is bets again. - Yeah, I mentioned Nico in the last pick. I'm just gonna take him here in the fourth round and go right back to the wide receiver position. I still believe Nico is one of those guys that can have one of those unreal seasons, but we need Stroud to recapture something close to Brookier, but the talent is there. I do think he deserves to fall a little in draft just because of the, not that he's out of his primary thing, but the age is definitely different than somebody like Ibuka Garrett Wilson. - Stroud is a player that we all universally loved, and then after the first year, we were like, oh my gosh. The film, it matched what we think, and then the second year, we were like, well, they'll just get a new OC and Bobby Slow could be out of there. Last year, I was like, I don't have any more excuses. I don't have anything left. It was just sad. So, after that, when Brock Purdy, Trevo Henderson, Lad McConkey, Dak Prescott, and Chase Brown went right before you, Mike. - Oh, man, Team Six is. They will not have any problems at an old age due to high levels of testosterone. Okay, so let me peek at the running backs again. - Oh, Ken Walker, I'm sorry. - You have to, you have to do it. Come on, Mike. - I don't know, there is, you know. - Let me, I'll at least talk. - Other crappier running backs available. - So, a breeze is still there. Man, the question marks of Bucky. What, whoa. I do not know what to do with Bucky Irving. Wide receiver wise, Tate's still there. How are you guys feeling about Rishi Rice? - Terrified. - Dynastie, terrified. - I have never, ever been in on Rishi Rice. Let it be clear. - Kyle is really smiling right now. - Oh, I'm not. I have not seen Kyle this happy since he found out Rishi Watson has less guaranteed money than Klosher here. Which was about, which was about a few hours ago. Kyle has been talking so much about Rishi Rice. He's not even that good. He just gets scam targets. Y'all got it. And he might be right, but the things he points have been so good, but I am finally with Kyle that like, man, the off-the-field stuff, and we talked about this last week a little bit. Players that are as productive as Rishi Rice has been in the league so far. At this point, before they're entering, they're finally, they're the rookie deal. They're in contract talks. And the chiefs have already said, not a chance. We're not doing that right now. You're gonna play this season and then we'll figure it out. So one more stupid off-the-field thing or one more injury and it's like, man, I don't know how good Rishi Rice is when he's not on the chiefs. So I'm absolutely terrified in Dynastie. - Yeah, and this league, if you get off-the-field stuff, you're out of the league. So that's one of the rules. - Oh, man. - Adjust the ranks. - Kyle. - At least he's terrifying to draft him in a startup. That's really the point. Is it just terrifying? - You're a sicko, Kyle. My boy, Luther Burden is there. Jordan Tyson, but I'm not going all the way on the Saints here. There is a wide receiver. You know, I'm gonna punt. I'm gonna take Ken Bull Walker here, ladies and gentlemen, for the brand and hope that a particular wide receiver makes his way back to me. - Interesting. Yeah, there's a lot of young wide receivers that in a startup, I'm sometimes I'm like, am I just taking this player because they're young and I have not seen him on the field? But then I look at the draft capital of all the guys available, Tate, Adonze, Tyson, Burden, like all of these guys, it's like, okay, they're tied to this team. They're gonna be good or at least stick around for a little bit. Running back is where it gets them. I hoped that either Walker or Hall would fall to me and neither did. - Okay, so we stole your cookie. - You did and then I look at team one next to me that does not have a running back and ask, are they gonna also take the cookie that I need? I don't want to be backed into a corner. I'm not gonna be bullied in a Superflex mock draft in June. No, sorry. That's not gonna happen. - Kyle will draft the worst team just to declare he has not been bullied. He will own himself. - I'm not looking at Titan because all four Titans are off the board, so I'm gonna kind of wait on that. That position's gone. At quarterback, I know this team already has two and everyone kind of feels like they're in the same tier. - So it really comes down to do I want to take one of the veterans and try to win now with a CMC or Saequan or do I want to just keep building my wide receiver depth because I like Tate and I like Tyson. So I'm just gonna take Tate here and see what this other team does. - Wow. - Oh, oh, team one. - They believe. They believe. - All the bears. - Lovelin. - Dude, it is. is around is round six. He's taken swift. - Seven, monogai. - Okay, so I took Tate and then Adunzai and Birdon went off the board. I thought I was gonna get to pick one of them. I did not. Okay, so-- - Who do you, just for the record guy, who do you prefer, Roam or Birdon? - As the Birdon Dynasty manager, I prefer Birdon and Dynasty. - Okay. - And it's fun. - He's such a fun player. - We talked about this last week a little bit with Jason. Mike, I wanna get your thoughts on this. - I meant, I-- - It's Luther Bird, by all means. - No, no, no, not that. Everybody knows Roam or Dunzai is Michael Floyd and whatever other-- - I may have said something. - Whatever other busts in the first round. Darius, I would bet. - We all know that that's the case. But I mentioned on the show last week, like Dynasty is such a market-based game. And if you look at the screenshot I posted from last year's mock, so much has changed in a year and so much will change from this mock that like Picks will look silly in hindsight, right? What I was asking is, is it worth putting Birdon on your trade block? Even though we all think he's a great player and he's super talented, is there a world that exists where his Dynasty value in the trade market is as high as it will ever be right now? And we all came to a collusion. We're like, maybe, I don't know. So 'cause we all came to the collusion too, it's like you could probably get a pick and another player that you're excited to have on your roster. So I just threw it out there. I know that you're the Birdon guy, but I wanted to get your take on that. - I would, yes, I agree with the, what you're saying about it. The game is the market. Both Birdon and loved one right now. Like they are being priced as if it happened. And it sorta happened. Like it wasn't, that was not a true breakout. Maybe you can call it loved ones that because of you had the addition of the playoff appearance or what he did in the playoffs. And I have, so just real life example I have, I have Tremac Bride and ended up with Colston Loveland on my dynasty team. And it's like, it's not a tight end premium. It's just a single tight end, but it is a double flex. And I mean, the way that those guys were playing, they could literally be flex players as well. But it's, do I trade Loveland off of all the hopes in the dreams of the promises and just go get someone I know for sure is gonna be a young star contributor to my team. And it's very difficult. It's, in dynasty, when you like a player, then you draft them and you feel like it's happening, to then emotionally move to a place where like, no, I'm gonna trade this player like that's tough. That is, it's, you know, you feel like a motion should not be in part of your business transactions. And you know, it is because it matters. I want, I want to like the players who are my team. Wow, I'm winning as well. So I, there probably is some wisdom in trading any of those. Rome, I don't know if he's, even though he went first before burden, I don't know if he's looked at dynasty wise as hot of a, of a dynasty player as burden or Loveland. Man, in a startup right here, I don't have a running back and I know I'm gonna have to wait a long time and then I don't like any of the options. And I really think about, if I have this team, I'm gonna try to win right now. And who, which running back what I want, who has a contract for at least three more years, I'm gonna take take one, Barclay. And. - Oh my. - It was between him and CMC here. And Betson, I've talked a lot on DFS embedding. - What's McCaffrey's contract, essentially? - He's got two. - Okay. - And Barclay has three. But I also just, I mean, the Eagles are one of my favorite teams to buy into this year, especially the running game. So Barclay, CMC and then Jordan Love went. So team four has Mendoza and Love as their two quarterbacks. - That's fun. - All right, I am back on the clock and the White receiver that I did not mention. He did make it back. And he's a little bit lower in the ADP on this current list. Rice, Quinchon Judkins, and then Jordan Tyson, something that I actually did also think about earlier as a pick. Bet you're at the five, six turn here. - Yeah, an interesting spot because this is kind of where I do start to consider quarterback two. But again, just going back to what I said last pick, there's still some guys here I'd feel totally fine with as a quarterback two, whether it be Bigger Mayfield, Jared Goff, Tyler Schuck. So I'm gonna play the game and see what Team 12 does here and go wide receiver, Shocker. I know to you guys. - Man. - T Higgins is the guy I'm looking at as well as Zay flowers. - We're gonna take Zay flowers. I'm a Zay guy, I know Mike's a Zay guy. - Yes. - I feel like I'm not a Zay guy. - I know, but here's the thing. Zay flowers has always been ultra efficient on his routes, right? But everybody keeps talking about Zay as if the offense isn't changing. And we're getting a brand new play collar in here. Derek Henry is another year older and eventually will not be on this team. And I just, man, like productive first-round wide receivers, you just keep doing it on a per-out basis. I'm gonna bet on those guys a lot, especially when you get 'em at the late fifth, early sixth in, in Dynasty. So I'm a Zay flowers guy, I will take 'em here. And then Team 12 did take quarterback with Bigger and AJ Brown, which puts me back on the clock. - What year are we, we're in year four now of Zay? - I believe that's correct, yes. - This isn't a per-out league bet, so you actually just got docked. - Yeah, but the targets. - No. - What if I told you there was a wide receiver who began its career? Year, rookie year was not great. It was 16 catches, 167 yards. Year two, 1,100 yards, but only two touchdowns. The breakout, we're like, oh, we're interested. Year three, and a little bit of injury, we're only at 800 yards and five touchdowns. And then becomes Antonio Brown Kyle. - I'm not into Antonio Brown. - You heard it here, guys. - I can imagine saying that about Antonio Brown year three, I'm not into this guy. - Zay flowers is good at football. - Pretty funny. - He is. - Zay flowers is good. - Zay flowers is great at football, and he has a multiple MVP quarterback. It just, I don't. - I like the stack. - To feel like we haven't seen the best that Zay flowers has to offer. - I think that is being shortsighted. - Agreed. - I'm gonna keep Brown and Dirty at quarterback and just see what happens in this mock. And I mentioned to Higgins the last pick. I don't know that that was enough to say it's for sure going to happen, but he's one of those players that could, where it's like Laporta, great player. I don't think we're ever gonna be superstardom right after him was Kyle Pits. I, we're just, we're at a point now where the tight ends are, do you see, good Lord, I'm scrolling down, do you see anyone who could, you look at that and you feel like I can see the path. I know what the story is on how he becomes actually a legitimate superstar. And I'm just, I'm, I just talked to myself into Tucker Kraft guys. Team makeup wise, I'm gonna do it. - Okay, so that was basically you looking at the, the options saying, if somebody else takes him, then I hate everybody else for the next four or five rounds. - I move much longer than four or five rounds. - Okay, I, I get it. I'm looking at the list right now too. Tight ends available, like Pits. - I'm sure my overall rankings would not have me do that, but because of the team makeup, the way that the draft is falling, I gotta be smart and navigate it. - Yeah, Betts, how do you feel about the tight ends on the board? Laporta just went at six, 10. - In general in startups, I'm actually a huge fan of grabbing one of the elite options, which we're at the point now where we're not in that conversation. So just like the long-term advantage you have at that position in Dynasty to me is so, so valuable, but again, like Kraft, Laporta, it's kind of fringe for me. And generally speaking, I don't gravitate to those guys, but at the same time, like Mike said, this is a bit of a tear break. And it does start to get a little nasty where you either talk yourself into like a young, hopeful guy that like we've seen glimpses of, whether that be like, you know, Gads, dinners, or concaiters, something like that, or like. the old proving guys like Andrews and Kelsey which you know you're only getting for a year or two of production so I'm with Mike this is kind of the last last spot otherwise I'm putting away. Running backs is interesting to me because you have some names that don't feel really sexy to pick in a startup draft because you look at their ages and you go man do I really want to take a 27 year old running back. You know the the Josh Jacobs or Karen Williams but I do feel like there is one guy who just got a contract that yeah I'm just excited about the offense so I'm going to take Travis H. Han Jr. here. Yeah with Olave I was like do I really want to have two of my premier guys on the Saints it it could work out but I passed. Yeah I feel like so I've got drag me at quarterback I've gotten three wide receivers that I feel really good building around London McMillan and Tate that I think can all be you know 130 140 target guys I have Barclay and H. Han so far so I feel really good about my team's ability to compete pretty much right away I think my question right here is if I punt my quarterback down the road my QB2 am I going to regret it so I'm going to list these names here it's Stroud Tyler Shuck who I think we all like and we like his ability running the ball yeah Sam Darnold Kyler is enticing me I know there's people out there I think that's crazy but Kyler is still enticing and then pressure for Kyler is let's say am I enticing with him is that the question no no because I know what the answer is look up is not no it's the the the the reclamation projects with the Minnesota Vikings does that turn into a long-term deal with Minnesota or is does Kyler then be like cool thanks I'm going to go hit the market and I mean you know well you can be I don't know if he can be franchise or not because I don't know what the whole contract because he's like sort of on the Arizona contract but you know what I mean so I don't I don't know the exact details of that but do they does he is he won and done with Minnesota or does he succeed with Minnesota and then he's there long-term solution because if he le if he goes and succeeds and leaves good luck yeah you know what I mean because part of it is Kevin O'Connor the play collar that's like what we yes that's the that's why I'm interested in Kyler this year is because of the system and he can he can be good in that system but if he does that and then just goes and gets a huge bag of money from a different team then I will probably be out and that would be pretty devastating to just have a one-year rental quarterback in the seventh round the way I'm thinking about Kyler personally if you if you think about what's happening in next year's draft which everybody's already talking about the quarterback class right the teams at the top are going to be so excited to to stick and pick wherever they are on the top five or there will be teams probably in that like five to 10-ish range that want to move up and take a quarterback in next year's class from a rookie standpoint if Kyler plays well this year the Vikings will not be anywhere close enough to take one of those tops to your prospects next year they could take somebody on day two or whatever but to me it's like man if Kyler plays well the Vikings are out of range you might as well as pay Kyler at that point because the options in the free agency market are not going to be strong so I'm almost treating this year like a free roll for Kyler like if he fails he fails and it's probably you know over for a long term success in the league if he has success with this team I think they're resigning so that's how I'm treating him personally I took Shuck I just Kellen Moore is one of the few play collars that I just like I trust you I trust your pace up and I that's why I would have taken a fire for you okay and then there's a lot of interesting receivers in this range McCoy lemon went right after me cam scataboo is another running back that I can scataboo is that was why I was hoping would drop all right who you gonna take it seven of five well it was going to be cam scataboo let me look at the running back position ADP wise it's Giderian price RJ Harvey Henry Tutton Tutton is very interesting here but he's living that he's living that danger life and not that scataboo is is not part of the danger life of your you were a day three running back you can go have he could put up 1200 yards on the ground score a whole bunch and then there's like sweet thanks we're gonna have to run you back in the second round next year because that's what we're gonna do so I eat that his long term because we haven't seen it like we did with scat that scares me a bit um I'm gonna go he just he he's at the top of the ADP and he is at the top of my wider see rankings I'm taking jalen waddle love it guys I they're the if putting your ear to the ground which you should be doing right now of you know however if you're getting your information from these beat reporters I feel like the news on waddle is very very positive right now and he was I think he was he was like a victim of circumstance of did everything that the team wanted him to do was awesome at it he's had his injury stuff but then the the team had a chance to get Tyree kill who was peak Tyree kill at that time I don't blame any team being like we got this waddle guy but Tyree kill we can go get him and he can be our elite number one wide receiver the fact that waddle now gets to be a top tier wide receiver for can Sean payton get you know we've seen Sean payton number one guys be just absolute target hogs and can that be I think that's in the range of outcomes for for waddle and how he plays so I feel good about him in the seventh I like this range is waddle then jadarian price casey conception who we all love Derek Henry RJ Harvey and then C.J. I would say at this points in where we are in the draft, I don't hate the idea of taking a third quarterback here. I like there's still a decent amount of good starting options, but in the superfucks you're going to want to have at least at least the three starters, so you can mix and match, play your matchups and also cover your buy weeks. So that would be like darnled, take the upside shot on Malik Willis, Daniel Jones. Oh man, it's actually it's thinner than I thought. No, it's not good because we're running into because we still have 80 opinions like Thai Simpsons here too is here. Who do you got who's starting for you in Falcons Kyle? I would say week one it's two in my opinion. Like they're going to wait till pinnix is actually like healthy enough to they can because there's going to be a PR nightmare if he's like kind of half healthy, they throw him out there and then it's going to be two and then if it two it starts off poorly, they'll go back and forth. I bet over the summer his ADP continues to rise. So for my team, I don't need him to be much more. And I think he can also ascend in value where the other running backs sitting here. All feel like committee backs or I have to get an injury ahead. I think he's one of the few guys here that could win the job and then have it for multiple years considering he's only 22. I don't, yeah, you could have a stud or you could have. Oh, for sure. You could have a player who doesn't have a play for you. I just hate Blake Corum and Jonah Coleman and Woody Marksmore. So Mike. So looking at Jalen Warren is in strong consideration here for me. But between him and Rico, it's very difficult. What was Rico's contract? I mean, he didn't get anything, Daddy. Got a two year deal. It was a lot less right bets than like a lot of other people that you're like, oh, man, he got less than gain well. He got less than you realize I'm going to look it up real quick story of his life. But so Jalen Warren, they're both of them are under contract for two years, two years, 12 and a half million, five million guaranteed. And Jalen Warren is sitting at, but he Jalen Warren has like 12 million guaranteed as well. It's just me listing players and saying how everyone stinks. Why are you taking running backs here, man? There's still plenty of wider receivers. I'd like to add to my roster as I do. You haven't taken a wide receiver for around. Yeah, dude. You don't even do that anymore. Looks like I took a good one. It's, it's not, it's not great, Mike. But as a 12th round pick on a mock, no one will remember, actually people will remember, they'll call you out. Yeah. No, they definitely will. One row quick. Oh, wait. Oh, Coleman went. Come on. Come on. Okay. Then let's take, we're gonna take Mike Washington just for, just for the heck, just, just to feel something, feel like I really thought about Jalen Koker who went right after me. But it's like, I feel like at the point of what my team is, I just, I have to start getting young players who things could break right for them. Yeah. I, so I realized with my team, I kept punting the tight in position and I was hoping that Cadek fell to me. He didn't, I was hoping that Stowers fell to me. He didn't either. So then I'm looking for somebody that has a contract that I feel good about for a while. That's young ish and that has yak ability. And there's only one man for the job. And I'm his Jacob Conqo, which really means I'm gonna probably double tap the position. I really wanted to bring up the point though that for some reason, sleeper ADP, the top tight in available was Mason Taylor. And I, I could fathom. There must be something broken. Somebody's not doing their job at sleeper because that guy's at the top. And I don't understand it. I'm gonna take Mark Andrews. So I double tap the tight in position, a Conqo and Mark Andrews. Like the jets saw Mason Taylor last year. And I like, what should we do about this? We should probably draft his replacement in the first round. All right, let's do these final two picks here, 13 and 14. And then we'll recap our teams. And then also Mike, you can kind of just share like at this point in your draft, man, I wish I would have done this or, or I need to fill out this position more. I wish at about pick. Pick six. We would have just stopped. Just logged out. Stopped and let my, let my team be. We talked about him recently on the. Oh, he's not. Rashad White has no upside guys. He just has value. Like he's usable. Feels like he feels like a usable running back. I'm not gonna take him though. Okay, I'm gonna take a young player. We're gonna I like fields with, you know, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to take the future stack of the New York Giants. Malachi fields. Malachi fields to pair with my Jackson Dart. Okay. Now we're, now we're all we're so back. We are so back guys. I'm on board now. Man, just the value pick here. I have to take this guy. I have to take Tyson's into the 13th round of a superflex. I just have to do you stash him on the bench. Yeah. I'm out there for my started lineup. Give me a guy that might be the future Rams guy might also not be. You're, yeah, for your 2029 team, it's going to kill it. It's going to be cool. But I don't need him cop because I got Kyler. I got Lamar. I mean, come on. I got Daniel Jones. This is the point though, where I do need to consider a tight end. And I feel like, I mean, you could take any of these boring veterans that are all kind of the same guy. I'm going to throw a dart on Terrence Ferguson, who I think is kind of a, it's going to be hard to project well on a week and a week out basis for this guy because they play eight tight ends. But I believe in kind of his upside of what could be if things hit. He was one of those athletic profile types coming out last year. Yeah. It's tough. I think I regret waiting this long for a tight end, but I don't regret passing all those guys in the middle rounds. I agreed. Okay. Yeah. I felt like there's just a bunch of guys there that feel the same, especially like Britain Strange, don't concave out. None of those feel like true difference makers. Gadsden. I don't really like any of those picks. Mike finishes out. So right now I'm looking at Tray Harris or Pat Bryant's players. I do actually like, but they're just the runway is, is log jammed. And I don't know if it can open. If I go Pat Bryant, I will be doubling up on the Denver wide receivers. I think there's a chance that Courtland Sutton is gone by next year. So you'd be talking about Bryant would be a starter. And I think that he will have success, it comes down to Quentin Johnston. What year are we of Quentin Johnston? - We are in year, let's see, he's the JSN, so he's year four now. - Do they pick up, yeah, this will be year four. - Yeah, they picked up his option. - They did? - I believe so. - Yeah, crap. All right, I'm going to take Pat Bryant. (laughs) - They picked up his option. No, I'm out, I'm doing some good. Well, I feel like Pat Bryant could be starting next year where if Quentin Johnston is around for two years, then Trey Harris, something has to go very right for him to get on the field. - All right, I will wrap us up here. My quarterbacks are Drake May and Tyler Schuck, which I feel pretty good about the value I got for Schuck in the seventh round and the Matthew Stafford later as my QB3. My running backs are Sequan Barkley, Travis H. and Junior, Jonathan Brooks, and then I just took Aaron Jones with my 15th round pick just so I can have another guy. And then my wide receivers, London, Macmillan, Karnel Tate, Terra McClure, and Josh Downs, and then Teddy Hurst, and then my Titans are Chigacon Quo and Mark Andrews, Mike. - Yeah, you getting Schuck in the seventh versus me getting Dart in the second is, that's a value discrepancy that makes me sad. And I would much rather have Tyler Schuck in the seventh. So let that be, that'll be my biggest takeaway. Burrow Dart, Malik Willis are my quarterbacks. Olave, Devonte Smith, Waddle, Antonio Williams, Malachi Fields, Pat Bryant are my wide receivers. I got Ken Bone Walker, Jaylen Warren, Kenneth Gamble, Mike Washington, Junior, and Tucker Kraft, and then my last, who cares about my last, oh, Trey Harris is still there? Sure, okay. - Great pick. - All that him and Han last round, just to get my guy. That's a great pick, Mike. At quarterback for me, I've got Lamar Jackson and Kyler. I also added Daniel Jones, and Ty Simpson, late in the draft at running back, get ready for these names. Ramondra Stevenson, JK Dobbins, Rico Dattel, are the three pack that I have taken into startup. And at wide receiver, I have Amondra St. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Nico Collins, Zayf Flowers, T Higgins, and Christian Watson. So I went with the draft, the best player approach when I was on the clock. I would say my biggest regret here is nothing, because Kyle, this team is awesome. And in the 15th round, look, give me Keaton Mitchell, as another running back depth piece. - Oh, that's a great pick right there. We have not talked enough potential about Keaton Mitchell. - He's in the best ball streets of somebody that is talked about because the downside is you draft this guy late, and he's whatever. But yeah, my fear in the back of my mind is like, does Hampton only see 60% or 65% and then Mitchell and Vidal get this other 35?
