Happy Wednesday. Hop day. Yeah, feeling good. It's beautiful outside. I went for a walk yesterday that was just stunning down the long the West Side Highway. Sometimes Joe and I will walk all of together. It's just like, it's rare because we're coming and going or different times. Like he's going to work earlier than me. I'm coming home later and I'm taking all of out or whatever, or vice versa, but we were both home. We said, "Why don't we take her?" She gets so excited when we both go. She's like, "Oh, whole family's going out. This is so nice." It was, I mean, really just, really gorgeous, great way to start, great way to start the week. Yeah, that is wonderful. It was lovely. I mean, it was during the, it was white out. Yeah, it was, yes. It was around 4 p.m. Perfect. Yeah. We went for a walk last night, and it was dark out. Yeah. And it was my first time walking in Central Park in the dark. Well, that's not true. When I walked barefoot. I mean, right, but that was a very quick thing. That was a party. After the party. I had to take my shoes off. But that was very like, we ran through. No, no, no, we were. This was different. Like, we went on 8 p.m. Yeah, no. To seek out a purposeful, long walk. And my goodness gracious. It's beautiful. Oh, no. Beautiful. No, it's, we were dodging mice and rats and raccoons. Raccoons. Holy shit. No, no, no. Guess I wanted to get a dark out. Dude, these raccoons were jy-normous. Oh, I don't know what they're feeding them in the park. Oh, they're feeding them all the trash. Yeah. They were fucking huge, big boys. These raccoons. Wow. We were so scared. I think, literally, like, at one point, I put Matt in front of me and was like, you go first. Yeah. Because we were like, we got to get back. Yeah. The wildlife out here. It's dangerous. Yeah. We got to get inside. Yeah. They kind of tell you not to be walking in the park after, after dark. Yeah. I know that. I think they do say that. Yeah. But we had, like, gone distracted and then by the time we were going for the walk, it was too dark. Yeah. And I said, well, that's to be at that time. And I said, well, we still have to go for a walk. We said, you know what? Next time we'll walk the streets. Yeah. After dark, we learned our lesson. After walking the street. No, central. Do you ever walk central park in the dark? I used to run in the dark, actually. And people do. I mean, they have like, I mean, I was the person of being a man, you know, I run in the dark in the park. No, literally, never, never. Never. Matt looked at me last night. He was like, by the way, you will never walk here. I was talking. It was like 8 p.m. Yeah. No, I've definitely gone late, but and people do because like in that circle, like they have lights and stuff. Yeah. I mean, yeah. I did see runners last night. But you're going to see, maybe not raccoons, but you're going to see rats everywhere. No, rats. Yeah. Yeah. The thing is, it's like, your ankle's like, like something that low, it's almost like you, you can almost feel like you could fight something off face to face like a monster more so than like by your feet. So that was, you know, whatever, were you sat in New York City, the rack, the size of these raccoons were like when we were in Montana and we saw the, uh, those big ass. What was it? Uh, those big boys with the horses. They weren't horses. They were at the, they were at the ranch. You were taking so many pictures of that. Oh, oh goats. The goats. Um, yeah. I was like, I was trying to think of some niche, some niche animal. Those, those are fat goats. Big those goats. Yeah. These raccoons were like that fat dumpster asses like holy shit and they were going ever seen a raccoon in New York. Oh, God. We saw at least six. They're always like they'll climb up the trees. Yeah. They were all, it was like, oh my God, they could just jump on us right now. It's not season right now for the squirrels. So when you, all the squirrels are out and they are harvesting all the nuts, all of goes crazy. They were collecting the trash. Yeah. They saw two raccoons going in on one trash bin. And then when we walked back, we saw that they were collecting that trash bin and they're organizing. And they're all, no, no, not the raccoons, the squirrels. No, the pets. Oh, peach. The sanitation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Was, you know, they were cleaning up, they were cleaning up the raccoons and ice. We were like, oh my God, because the raccoons were still surrounding. They're pissed. They're getting their food taken away. Yeah. We're next. I said, we're, we're now their dinner. Yeah. And out of there was so scary. No, too much. Really. Crazy. That's why you don't go to the park after that. No, no, learn my lesson. Not happening anymore. But during the day, it is delightful. And I said, the morning's ideal. Yeah, ideal. And then during the day, I texted no last week, we got a hot dog, not me and Noah, but I was saying, wow, this is what you do all the time because Noah loves walking in Central Park. Yeah, he does. But. And Kelly. When she did. When she lived. One of these days, we're going to run into each other. One day. And like, not know. We're going to meet you. You know, you guys are just like you're, you'll both race for the, for the mustard at the hot dog. Yeah. You don't call it a meet cute. No, you wouldn't. But you know, serendipitous. Exactly. Did you see the make? Is it remaking that movie by the way? Serendipity. Serendipity. Yes. Well, serendipitous. One of the highlights of the walk last night was, can't take my eyes off of you. By Frankie Valley was playing in the distance. In the park. Mm-hmm. And we're, somebody somewhere in the park in the distance was playing. And I said, hi, Grammy. That's nice. And you're going to say it again. 10-8. Well, we watch. Dance is starts. We'll get into the recap. We'll be on. We're going to hop on Zoom again. And we, the people seem to love the quick turn around. So we're going to stick to that as much as we can until we go on tour than things get tricky. Things get tricky. Please bear with us. Don't yell at us. Please. Yeah. Please don't yell at us. I know. It's happens every tour. A couple programming notes. I just want to say. Yeah. For sure. Yeah. So originally we were going to record on Wednesday morning, dancing with the stars and do in studio. We, like you said, realized people like the quick turn around. So the dancing with the stars, recaps, will be on Zoom. Strictly for turn around purpose. We would have done it in studio on Wednesday morning, but then that means the episode would come out later instead. Yeah. Best of both worlds. You'll get a dancing with the stars, recaps, and everyone who commutes in the morning and wants to listen on their way. We'll have the episodes. So please don't yell at us that you hate when we're on Zoom. We're trying to make it all work. Okay. And second thing, please don't yell at us while we go on tour and we battle with the podcast, release schedule, because we have said time and time again, we would love to continuously put out episodes while we travel. Would love to. We don't, we hate missing episodes. Yeah. The way that it works is we physically can't. Like our producers do a lot of work on show day where they have to be at the venue at like 11 a.m. Yeah. And the show. So you guys. No, us too. Of course, but you guys, like, I don't think people realize that you completely, you produce this show, but then you also completely produce the live show. So I, I want people to understand how much work you guys are putting in to doing both and that it would be physically impossible, impossible for you guys to complete that all. Like it's not. And we would love to do it. But it's not. So please go easy on us. We're not missing that. I mean. No, we're not. Time won't be that many. But I understand where people get frustrated and we love that you love us so much. But it's just not possible. And, you know, we got a, we're putting on shows and doing the whole thing. Yeah. And it's only a, it's only really like towards only three weeks this year this fall. Yeah. It's combined. Yeah. We got to week one and week three. There's two shows each week. Right. So. And then of course, New York is in December, but that we live here, so that makes things a little bit easier. Yes. For us. Having that, having that happen does condense our travel time, but it does make keeping the usual recording schedule a little bit tougher because we are gone like the whole week. Instead of being gone for two days and coming back more than having the tour, be six weeks. And having to get on the plane and drive and edit and, you know, you have to have Wi-Fi to transfer footage and, and connect. Yeah. It's a lot that goes into it more than just like pressing about and recording up loading. So, yeah. Bear with us for the month of November. Exactly. But it's going to be so much fun. There's so much fun stuff coming up tour. You can still get tickets. Yes. So if you would like to come see us and you're in Grand Rapids, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Phoenix. I know they're very close. And Denver and St. Louis, St. Louis.
- So about. - So about. - So about. - So about. - Which is amazing. So Phoenix, Denver, Grand Rapids. - Yes. - If you would like to come see us, that would be great. We're gonna have so much fun. And that's yeah. - Yeah. - We're in the road. - Yeah, can't really. - We're in the road, we're in the road soon. I did mention on Monday, just how it was feeling about the Eagles and I just got a tack on here that's, please do. I was like, now feels incredibly flippant. The way I was like, oh, you know, dealing hurts, it sounds like maybe he does, isn't get along with the team doctors. There's some rumors. Well, for good fucking reason, whatever the hell was going on. The guy is dealing with a major, major scare. And the report that was coming out was terrifying. I will not get all the medical terms correctly, but the blood clot that initially was a superficial blood clot. Maybe that wasn't really what it was to begin with. But there was a flight to London. There was a flight home from London. He was seen by doctors in London. Then back, there was, it was first reported he was awake for 36 hours before he played in the London game. Then they walked that back. Then they were like, oh no, he was awake because he was in the hospital for a long time. But then he was able to sleep before the game because so many medical professionals were like, why was he told not to sleep? That's not a thing for a blood clot. That's not a thing for like concussion, right? That's not a thing. So then that got walked back. But the clot has moved to the lungs, which is incredibly scary and incredibly dangerous. And flying only makes those things even more dangerous. So really a terrifying report, you kind of think that this was mishandled at many levels. I don't know if the doctors didn't know what they didn't know when this side of the other thing. Jason Kelsey was on Monday night football, kind of sort of defending the staff to saying they were working probably within protocol, whatever the hell that means. And then today it was like, the NFL investigated that they did work within protocols. Like, well, you know, the NFL's investigating themselves. That always cracks me up when it's like, well, the NFL investigated. And they said that a foul is innocent. So, you know, oh shit, really? Shocker. Shocker. So, I don't know what's going to come out of this. I just hope that he is healthy because my God, he deserves the world. My so scary hurts. And that is so scary. And it can be like a career-rending thing. Something that happens, people have to be on blood thinners their whole lives in no context sports when you're on blood thinners. It is being reported that they hope and his agent has said that he should, the prognosis is that he should make a full recovery and all these things. But then it's like, my God, you make a full recovery, you go back to football, you want to play for this craziness? - No. - Which was so sad because my dad and my brother who were at the London game were like, holy shit, it was this the last time we're gonna see Jay on hers as an eagle. And then I slow-tier rolled down my face. It's, you know, I love him so much. And I hope he's okay, so scary. - And it's so scary. - And I would like to throw this season the trash. Just start over at another time. - Pass pair. - Next year, you know, fire a lot of people, we'll try again next year. But I just want to clarify, 'cause then I saw that news on Monday and I was like, oh, fuck, that's great. That it just, it blew up big time every second about it. So, yeah, that is crazy. - Scary, very scary. I can't believe they let him back on a plane. Like one thing to go to London, kind of not really knowing what was going on, but then getting back on the plane, London home. - I'm like, on flight. - Yeah, yeah. I would have, realistic is like, he probably should have been stuck in London for a while, which would not be ideal for him, I'm sure, but still. So, yeah, that's a terrible situation. - Yeah, that sucks. - In other news, really exciting, we were on the New Barrymore show. - Yes. - We will be on Friday for the Drew's new segment, talking about all the pop culture, and we filmed it on Monday. - We did. - And we went from here to Drew Barrymore Studio, and it was quite the whirlwind. - It was, and you're, you know, you're in and out. That show is, baby, they shuffle you in, but it was also so nice. - We were in front of a live studio audience. - Yeah. - I was eating that shit up. - Yeah. - I went to sleep last night thinking, hmm, should we dream about having a talk show on television? - You know, I was like, is this a new dream of ours? We have a talk show here. - I thought, huh, that was fun. - Yeah. - Like a live studio audience. - You know, it is so fun, but we'd have to, we'd have to, there'd be some tweaking, you know, when we can't be on, we can't be on day time network. - Right. - You'd have to really sense yourself. Think about that. - Oh my gosh. - We were making some crude jokes up there. - We were in groups. - You know, yeah, yeah, yeah. But they were, I wouldn't say they were that crude. - And there was a lot of any windows. - Yeah, but yeah, yeah, but that's okay. It's like, I'm, it's sometimes we're, the, our vocab, our certain vocab would have been. - It would be fierce. - I actually definitely wouldn't want to center myself. Never mind. - Yeah. - Never mind. - It's tough unless it was a talk show. - Also, it puts you in front of a bigger audience. - Yes. - What? - Then maybe you have to sense yourself. - I don't want to center myself. Never mind. I'm getting all upset now. That's not happening. - Yeah, yeah. - You know, if you put us on like another, like a streaming network and you don't have to sense yourself, then I would enjoy that. But I like the live studio audience as well. - Yeah, that, yeah. - I love an audience. - Yeah. - So I love doing live shows. - Going to the tour. - Yeah, that's 'cause I love a live audience. But it was so fun and such an honor. And we loved you so much. And Ross Matthews, so funny. And we had such a good time. We really did. It was so nice. And it's just great to see our old pal Drew, you know? She had some lovely things to say to us. And you can watch Tune in on Friday. - Yeah, Tune in on Friday. - Tune in on Friday. - Wherever it's on, because it's on at different times, at different places, we learn that as well. So check your local listings. Check your local listings in Tune in. Make sure you tag us on Instagram and tell us how much you love seeing us. So they would like to be invited back. - We would like to be invited back. And I will censor myself to go on the Drew Barrymore show. - Yeah. - But not in life. - I will not. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - But if Drew says, hey, we can't say that. Okay, good thing I didn't curse. - Well, you know, it's not life. - Right. - So, I think it would have been okay. - It would have been okay. - Maybe they, but if they were like cut, cut, cut, cut. - That would have been. - That would have been so embarrassing. - Yeah, that didn't happen. - They said, can't say that, honey. Try again. - Oh, God. Oh, my God, it's so much fun thinking about that. Yeah, no good, no good. But we were also there when Jenna Artega and we had us, as they were filming and-- - Take away Titi. - They passed by. - Yes, they got a new movie coming out. That looks very interesting, just from the promo. - From the promo, we got to see a little tease of the interview. You can watch it on Friday too. - Yeah. - But really, you just, you know, stunning people. And it's a beautiful studio. Like, I like, it's a very, I guess a lot. - It's a very, like, home-east warm. - Do you feel the warmth in that studio? - I should give the best gifts. She give coffee beans, a mug, a sweatshirt. - I know, it's a hat. - A hat. - If anybody wants me to auction them off, let me know. I'm just kidding. - We all this Drew merch. - Yeah, I love it. I'm so excited. - Good momentos. That was a lovely way to start the week as well. - Yeah, it was. It was really awesome. So make sure you tune in and we can get into-- - Well, unfortunately, we didn't get to do the drink in the face with Drew from Spezie. - Yeah, yeah. - She was a bit recording. - Well, going into it, I think we thought we were, it was gonna be more of like the podcast. So I thought we'd have time for her to throw water in my face again. - Oh, yeah. I mean, we totally had no idea we were going on the show, really, in which was a, just a misstep by us. We just read the situation wrong completely, which was just so us. - Yeah. - So us. - Yeah, yeah, we, we thought there's no possible way Drew's putting us on her actual show. - Yeah, and then, like, I think we just kind of assume we were sort of doing what we did last time, but then come to find out, I don't think she even really does the podcast anymore. - No, it's on her show. - It's on the show and incorporated it into the show. - I sent it to France, and I said, "Fran, I think we're on the show." - Yeah. (laughing) - We were surprised, 'cause it is still called Drew's news, and that is what her podcast was called. - Her podcast was called Drew's News. - Yes. - I mean, so imagine our surprise when we found out we were actually going on the show. - Oh, right. - And then my in-laws on Monday, like, they said to Matt, like, what's with you and Ria keeping this stuff? Like, you weren't going to tell us, and-- - Yeah. - And-- - Not at all. - Actually, my wife didn't even know. So, it wasn't like we were purposely keeping it? - Yeah. - What have informed everyone way sooner? - What have been bragging about it for weeks? - But, thankfully, it was not, there is a little bit of time before it's on, so we can tell everybody about it. - Yes. - We can be really annoying about it until Friday. - Exactly, and we're so excited and honored, and thankful that they invited us. - Yes. - And we would love to come back, 'cause it was so fun. All right, let's get into today's topics. We're going to be talking about J.Z. Potentially picking J.Z. For the Super Bowl halftime show. Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein, casually dating, and they finally came out with it. - Yeah. - And Sammy and Tyrigue from Love Island, have it a baby. - I will say this-- - I'm having a baby. - This Instagram post was sent to me more than any big news in the pop culture world by far in the last few months. - Really? - Like so many DMs. More than I've gotten about anything else in a while. - Really? - Was I was very surprised. - Interesting. - But it has people, the people are, we're like, whoa, right, it was a shock. - It was a shock.
We have Pop Corner, we have Dancing With The Stars, and we also have Connie Brinn in Sam Novela, who I just adore them both, and they are so great and their show is so fun. So let's get into it and we're going to start off with Dancing With The Stars. Okay, after this week's performance is, we need to talk, who do you think is going home with the mirror ball? There are a few front runners, the judges scores are all over the place, and honestly, everyone seems to have a different pick right now. Alright, let's get into the Dancing With The Stars, recap for Dedication Night. I mean, what a night, it is hard to come down after a night like that. It really is, it's just such a beautiful evening every single time, and no one gets at home. We knew that was coming, and he just can really appreciate the love and support and the dance. Feel it. Feel it. The dance. And I don't even know why I'm tearing up now, we haven't even started. Just thinking about it again. We haven't even started talking about the night, but I mean, this night is not made and also made for cryors, like we shouldn't be allowed to watch, but it's also made exactly for people that are emotionally susceptible, what's the word, so not just, I know what you're trying to say. You're more prone to tears, susceptible, susceptible. You're more prone to tears, exactly. And so that's what happened tonight, from start to finish, although we're going to go through every dance. But for some reason, the tears really hit me during Connor's piano man with his dad. Like, I don't know what happened, but as soon as piano man started playing, I started crying full sobbing, like I had never done before during the first portion of the show. Yeah, yeah. No, there's just something about that song there, there really is. And shout out to Kim Johnson, who was the guest judge for this episode, put her permanently on this show. She balances the judges table out perfectly. They need a fourth, they're missing the fourth. Something's been missing ever since they went to three, they bring in a guest judge. Fun and all, but to have a consistent fourth would be amazing. And you know, I love carrying in and I love a love a messy gal. And she can be a little messy here from time to time. And Kim just really like grounds this panel, I think, and is so good at acknowledging where the stars are at and giving them really good feedback, constructive criticism, things that they can work on because she's been a pro on the show. So she gets it. So I would like her to be a permanent stay or at least she should be there multiple times a season. I agree. And I also love the idea of having another woman on the panel. I feel like that definitely bounces it out. And I 100% agree that she has really great feedback and constructive criticism that the star can use going forward. And I really enjoyed her judging tonight and her input. And then next week we have Shirley Ballas. We're running the fucking big dog watch out everybody. Wolf, Wolf, Shirley Ballas is an icon. She is a legend. If you watch next pro, she was a judge on next pro, but she has been a judge on, uh, strictly over in the UK for forever. She's the queen of ballroom. She basically molded all of our stars. Look at Mark, Derek, Julianne, she taught them all. So having her in the ballroom will be incredible. But she will bring it. It will be awesome. I mean, we started off the night with Ezra and Daniela, which tears, passion right off the back. Absolutely gorgeous. Ezra's mom, stunning, a stunner, a stunner, a beautiful dancer, a beautiful human. There were no uh-gos tonight. There were no uh-gos. No, no, no. Everybody was. Not on dedication. Inside and out. Inside and out. Just really stunning. They said no ugly people. No, and no ugly hearts. Yeah. And that's what I mean by it. Just altogether. Yeah. This was a beautiful dance. Daniela's, Daniela, Daniela's choreography, shown once again. The moment where she like stepped on to, we knew, I mean, we knew that was coming. We knew. No, I didn't. I actually didn't know who's coming. No, no. Not specifically in this dance where I was like, in my mind, I was like, it's only a matter of time before the, the prosthetic is used in the dance in it in a new and creative way. And that was so, so cool. And just a beautiful bond from him and his mom. And he's was sharing clips about their relationship and everything he's taught her. And that's one strong woman. So that was a beautiful way to kick off the night. I want to, was there a tent? I think maybe Kim gave them a tent. I really thought it was beautiful to hear the way as we spoke about the confidence that his mom instilled in him. Yes. Which I think is so important for so many people to hear obviously and for him to hear growing up the way that he did. And you're right. The prosthetic was obviously going to be used at some point. And this was a really beautiful special way to showcase. Yeah, yeah, stunning, stunning, you know, a whole that they had. It was really, really beautiful. Tatiana danced with Alfonso to honor Uncle Phil, the legend, beautiful. We love when Alfonso gets his moves on. And him joining in on that Viennese waltz was stunning because he is a mirror ball champion for goodness sakes. Put some respect in Alfonso's name. He could glide across the ballroom like the best of them Alfonso is one of my favorite dancers to watch. I really eat up at Alfonso dance. So I was so thrilled to hear he was joining, which we had called last week because how are you going to do Tatiana on dedication night without Alfonso? So it just only made sense. And obviously the fresh prince did not enter the ballroom or friend, friend like you let right now, you put out your rest and I'm, and I'm going to slap it, okay, so I'm going to. This is the, the great podcast slap I'm slapping your wrist for that one, okay? Um, yeah, no, no fresh prince in the room tonight, but it was, oh God, it was for, it was for Uncle Phil and it was beautiful. Yeah. The way that they spoke. And I know I'm going to keep using the word beautiful tonight. I know. But it really was. And I felt the judges were sort of doing the same thing and trying to find a different way to word what they mean, but it really all was beautiful. And she sang the song phenomenal. What a voice. Oh my God. Thank you for reminding me. Yeah. A voice and I call for me. This was my favorite dance. She's done so far. Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was gorgeous. She really has been one of the most improved every week. She just gets better and better, really love watching her dance. Laura dedicated her dance to Ireland. Now look, objectively, we love Mora, objectively having a complete stranger come in and be like the next person that added person in the dance. When everyone like has their mom, their dad, their sister, their spouse, it, it was kind of crazy. But I don't know if that just comes from a place of like, you know, more is far from home. So it might be really difficult to get somebody here for so many reasons. And she acknowledged everybody at home, the costumes were cool. And I think like Mark's wave incorporating the Irish dance, Irish step dance was really cool. I mean, lucky is a phenomenal, a phenomenal dancer. The Paso itself was not her strongest dance in my opinion. This was my least favorite dance for Mora, unfortunately. And yeah, you're right. Mora, I think dedicating it to her home, you know, means a lot to her. And you're right. There's different reasons as to why somebody cannot be there and somebody in her life, which totally fair. And I think dedicating it to that is awesome. It obviously was a switch up, which you need on a night like this. But I, this style of dance I don't think was her strong suit. And it is a, it is a strong dance, so you can obviously tell when it's not somebody's strong suit. Yeah, definitely. But the judges still love her and Julian, Julianne being like, what's it like? You know, what's, what do you got to say to all those people watching illegally in your country? It's like, oh, well, keep using that VPN. I don't know. I was funny. That was funny. That was funny. Julie.
And look tonight left her dress stunning. She looks really, really gorgeous old Hollywood glamour. Jackson was after Mora and you know what, fucking snaps for our banana. This was a great dance. We will give credit where credit is due. And I thought that this was a really good quick step. And I hear with the judge are saying about his frame, but just like the showmanship, the musicality, it all came together on another level, I think, for this dance. His best dance yet, in my opinion. And that little banana dance is hard out. What can you say? Exactly. And you know, my god, they always put him in these bright colors. And I don't know if that's by choice or if they just want him to pop like a neon pink starburst. Like it's just every, it's all the time. It's just, and you know, he, he is a showman. So I really like that dance. That was beautiful. It was a good quick step. And another one to the, the moms out there, he acknowledged his mom who was very sweet. And I think it's so nice when the moms come out and dance. And you know, they're not dancers and they're dancing on national television. So they must be so nervous. So nervous. Like any family member or anybody in their lives for anybody who's getting out there, they were just thrown into this. I know a huge props to everybody who dance tonight. That really is really just thrown in to start. Absolutely. Um, Amber did a contemporary with her sister. Pasha continues to crush the choreography. I thought this deserved all 10s. I really, I was surprised that this wasn't a 10s down the board. They're, they're holding some of the 10s back. It was the night where some 10s were given, but they, they held back on some, where I thought there would have been more. And this dance, I thought, deserved all 10s. Because not only was the dancing beautiful, but the, the message was beautiful. Like contemporary is all about storytelling. And Pasha really told the story through that dancing with it about her battling her mental health and her sister, helping her out of that. It was all in the dance. Totally. Pasha is such a wonderful choreographer. And that really showed tonight. How about Pasha winning sexy as dance pro? That was so funny. See, Yon's face. Yeah. He is so funny. Literally, Yon, you're, you're, you're an absolute gem. Uh, there were some unreal transitions this evening because there are some heavy topics and people are really, you know, getting deep and talking about their lives and their families. And as Amber did her, her mental health and all very important that it's like, okay, by the way, just got to say Pasha, you, you sexy. Yeah, but just a reminder. And just let everyone know Pasha. You're the sexiest. And I loved Danielle and just like getting right in the camera and being like, yes. Yeah. I loved that. She was hyping her man up. But yeah, the, it is absurd. And by the way, I get it. Like, yeah, they have to do what they got to do and have to know a easy transition. You got to get from A to B. And there's only so many, and so many minutes in an hour, you know, and there's only so many minutes in the show. You got to cut to the chase. Um, Jenna danced a V&E's waltz with Alan. Now they, right at the beginning of the show, I found it was like, Alan's here this week. No Val. And we just glaze right past that. And then the package, Alan was like, honored to be here. No acknowledgement. And I post this on my Instagram story too. But it's like, if you are a sweet, sweet, old lady, grandmother, perhaps who's maybe not online, who maybe tunes in on cable to her local ABC station at 8 p.m. on Tuesday nights to watch us with the stars. And she's probably like, well, what the fuck happened to Val? Well, please don't cut out the grandfathers because. Yes, sure. Baba, my grandpa, his favorite show is dancing with the stars. Like literally asking if he was wondering. And there is no way he knows what happened with him. I mean, he does try to keep up. And he listens to our show. So he can be in the know. He loves pop culture. He loves broadway. He loves the answer with the stars. So he's in the know. But I don't know if he's that in the know. Right. So I got a text. I got to text him tomorrow morning and be like, were you? Did you notice? Yeah. Baba. Did you notice? Val was not there last day. I'm going to give him a call. I'm going to get him on the phone and be like, what were you thinking about that? Yes. And did you understand why? But besides the point. I thought Jenna shines tonight without beautiful dance. I thought Jenna shines with Alan. I thought you did too. Because people have pointed this out that when Val and Jenna dance together, or Jenna, to on. Yeah. Sometimes it looks like they're competitively dancing against each other. Like there, there is, there was a clip that was a forget what week it's from. And when you just watch this one part back, they're like, it's like so nuts. And it's like the two of them going so crazy. And you're like, whoa, whoa, why? Like it looks like you guys are competing as each other in a dance battle. Whereas tonight, I felt like Jenna really shined. And that's enough to say Alan's not a great dancer, Gleb. Yeah. You just know how to make his partner the centerpiece. Total. Which I thought that he did tonight really, really well, especially in a moment, which is hard that he has to come in. And it's all this fighting. And the people were saying, Val doesn't follow Alan and Emma. And now, and he never followed them in the first place, which is wild. But then he just he followed them. And he followed them. And then he commented on Alan's post, like, hyping him up and being like, you're my new favorite follow while he never followed them in the first place. But I don't even know how it's possible. He's also he not follow them. And you could use the excuse to like, oh, they're not on social media. They are so on social media, which is why he got in trouble in the first place. So I don't literally all on tour. They spend all these moments together. It's really, it's really crazy. I don't know if it maybe it's just got to the point where they were just went on for too long. It was like, I can't I can't follow them now. I mean, I've had that happen to me sometimes where I it's gone on for so long that I'm just like, well, now it's awkward. Right. But not I know what you're talking about, but not with people that you're with all the time. All the time. No, I know. That is very true. It was it was it was a little weird. Take a little bit for me to get a follow back from Fran. Yeah. I know certain people that Fran still doesn't follow. And it's so funny. Yeah. Um, and she never will at this point. It's, you know, it's not anybody she's seeing on her day today. No, we're talking to or talking to, you know, they're seeing each other all the time. So, I don't know. It really is quite interesting. Um, but you are right. Alan absolutely had Jenna shining. And then carry in you saucy minks, given out that given out that 10. You're just like, yeah, I see you girl. She was like, you know what? I'm giving it. I'm giving Jenna a fucking 10 tonight. And and she was the only one when I think she could have also been another one to get all 10s because that dance was gorgeous. Um, but Karen tossing a 10 out there for Jenna was like, there was just something poetic about that. I loved it. I was like, hell, yeah. You know what? Fuck it. She was like one of these. We like, we're like, yeah, Karen. Yeah. She's sitting there like, fuck it. I'm giving a 10 and everyone's going to know why it's totally. We both had a nice little Drake ball we're watching tonight because we were preparing ourselves for Tyler's dance. Um, and like during that score, I just like, I took a sip of my red wine. It was like, you fuck. Cheers. Cheers to you, mother fucker. Karen like it's just really, really top notch stuff. Um, Harry danced a fox trot and it was to stop this train, which a fantastic song and his wife was in the in the dance and I, you know, I probably should have known this, but I was like, oh my god, she's a phenomenal dancer. She's also a dancer. She's also professional dancer. So that makes sense on why she was absolutely stunning in that dance. For me personally, a little bit of maybe a two literal interpretation of stop this train. Like I was like, do they need to be at a train station? Because you know, that song has such a deep meaning. And I thought that was like a very literal interpretation of it. However, the fox trot was beautiful. Totally agree. Topped about them. Yeah. But you were cracking me up when you were like, this is they're literally at a train station. Yeah. Yeah. And that is not the point of the song. Yeah. Like in my mind, I was like, you really could have done something more with with the passing of time and and, you know, loving your wife through every decade and every era. And and they were like, we're going to be at a train station. Yeah. It was very literal in that sense. But it was beautiful. And I actually thought maybe this was going to get some tens too. I I could have seen them throwing a 10 in there because it was a classic fox trot. There was no poppin in lock and and jamming and breaking. Well, thank God for this was appropriate. Mm-hmm. Poppin in lock and at the at the train station would have been something would have been something. He could have done it, but we'll save that for another time. Connor danced to honor his dad, which was so beautiful. He shared his dad's battle with lymphoma, which I I did not know about and hearing about their relationship was so beautiful and having him
the dance and like I don't there's just something about piano man the two of us we text we were like this fucking song as soon as you hear those first keys I had I had tears in my eyes like immediately and I was like I and I had been a little teary I had a little misty but this I started fully sobbing I'm like I didn't know if the bill was gonna have me fully sobbing tonight but here I am and really he really did so cute and then when they got all eights I was so happy for them so happy well deserved very well deserved and Riley was so happy for Connor Connor you could tell that he kind of just wanted to give like a fuck yeah like I did it I got there and that was awesome and he said um you know like it's amazing to have a doubt but a remarkable one and I was like oh sometimes people are just so good with their words he really I thought that was so beautiful I know that this is like totally a sharp turn that I'm about to make right now and it's quickly I know exactly I know exactly what you're gonna say Kaya Gerber yes yeah Kaya Gerber was post for her brother who very tragically passed away is one of the most beautifully heartbreaking things I've ever read if not the most ever in my life and I encourage everyone to go read it if they feel yeah they can handle it yeah obviously yeah um yeah I think that the way that she was able to word what that grief means to her now I couldn't I was just trying to wrap my head around how somebody could even come with those come up with those words and that was part of what she was saying as well yeah that she didn't think words could do it and I think that's somehow she did and and I just was stunned by it and I've re-read it over and over and over again it was so incredibly articulate like uh I want to say I'm trying to it it really made me want to be better with my words honestly reading it it I it I just was blown away how naive of me to believe that language could transcend grief I was like exactly like how yeah even sum it up in that way I really just no I you're you're so right and that's it was a beautiful a beautiful tribute a beautiful tribute to him and I thought I thought the same thing like it's just and when you have such a quick amount of time you know when you have like when you're on dance with the stars and you really have 15 seconds to like sum up how you feel in your relationship or and you know how much your dad means to you that I thought he did that so well and I'm so glad that they got eights and it was a you know in the mix with everybody else because it has felt like they have been they had been getting lower scores um so this was a good way for them Tyler went next and we were like we were preparing for this we were preparing for this whole night now you guys all know why we were well we were saying we have to get Tyler to dedication night we we absolutely must and thank God we did I was crying from the second the package started because when Tyler started to get emotional talking about his mom and you know not having that moment at his wedding and to a mother's son dance and started being like this this can be the last dance with your mom and her choreography and having tape being in and him just being so sad that you know his mom couldn't meet Tate but that his mom brought Tate to him and she's and he sees so much of her and Tate that my god I was sobbing like I was ugly crying same I mean Sharna did such a wonderful job making this moment incredibly special for them to have for the rest of their lives and just a huge congratulations to Tyler and Tate who are really to just wonderful people that deserve the best and just so incredibly happy for them and this moment will live on forever and it just oh my god I was like I was like we're having a baby crying my eyes out like I I've rewatched it like three times after before watching it before getting to Julia and Ezra yeah because I was just like the moment where he lifts Tate up after revealing and the narration the narration was such an amazing touch great touch on this whole thing because obviously it starts off with him talking to his mom and then the reveal that they are having a baby yeah I couldn't believe it I mean just such an incredible job narrating this entire story and Sharna playing the role of his mom and you know he lost his mom in such a sudden way and I know that he has talked about yeah obviously those final moments and how he feels so I just and Tate she just deserves the world and she really does and what a star by the way she danced beautifully Tate's movements were stunning I'm like what can't this girl do truly she can paint she can chop wood she can build a house she can run Tyler's social media she can have his baby she can dance she can do it she can do it all and she deserves it all and yeah and just they deserve to this moment I know I love this she like couldn't even get her thoughts out they were like how are you feeling she's like I don't know and no and I can't even imagine how they feel in this moment like just pure you you for you but at the same time they are also honoring Tyler's mom which is incredibly emotional and sad as well but but a beautiful blessing on the other side of that so just they're having a girl oh my god and then the reveal confetti and him him saving the confetti off the ground is so so so God we're so happy for them so happy for Tyler is going to be a great girl dad as someone who only has brothers like you know we got a John's brother situation like he's going to be he's going to be a girl daddy grow up with with two brothers um he's having a girl and he's going to be so sweet with her I'm just so so ecstatic for both of them ends thank you everyone for voting yes we got them to dedication thank god thank god thank god love of god get them to dedication night he's he's getting protest he's getting protective over over them each week I know I know I know we were like we I just wanted them to have this moment so badly because that we knew we were like this will be one of the most stunning moments sharner will put together an amazing dance with this will go down in the dance with the stars history books right and not even just dancing with the stars history books for their for them and their entire lives yeah they will look back on this moment and think about how cool and special it is and be able to watch this tape back and be with their daughter how cool right and their daughter to be able to watch their dad lift up their mom with and be like I was in there like that oh god I just chills I just seriously congratulations to the two of them just could not be happier couldn't be happier and now before we bring out Trulia styles just a quick dance break from so she Gomez to promote the new cat in that and now what the fuck was that because you know what I did rewind I'm not watching this cat in the hat dance I'm watching Tyler Tate and Charna's dance the way more times and this has quite literally nothing to do with this new version of cat and hat I hope it's good I hope people enjoy it the mic Myers can that I could not stand it ruined I I I really really heavily disliked it as a child and it has ruined the cat and hat for me for for the rest of my life probably I don't know if I'll even read that book to my kids because of how much that mic Myers movie I did not enjoy I think that we talk about this once a quarter we do about how opposite we are that you hated it and it was one of my favorite movies ever I used to rewatch this cat in the hat now granted I haven't seen it since I was a kid but when it came out that shit was on replay in my home and I love so she but it's just like I I would love a discussion with the with production and why they thought in between Tyler and Julia's dance was the right time for this yeah this is a first hour moment what a second hour moment this is a first hour moment in what world did they think it was appropriate to go from honoring Tyler's mother who's past and a baby and gender reveal to Heath Ledger they thought cat and the hat in the middle let's talk to the cat and the hat and that's right that's a real that's a real palette cleanser right let's let's make poor Julian and Alfonso have to be like wow Tyler and Tay when a beautiful moment all right everyone here comes so so she comes to dance to honor her new movie the can that it's like come on why do you have to do that to them now I know offense to anybody who did the dance with
them. I didn't know it. Hey, that's their job. You know, they got to be out there. It's no hit to them. It's the timing of it was crazy. But Julia Siles closed the show to honor Heath Ledger and 10 things they ate about you and that moment and her costume and the song. And just hearing her say, like, I wish I was able to call him and just say, like, look at the impact this movie had and how many people love it for years and years and years to come after it came out. And that is so true. And it was a beautiful dance. I know I say it every week, but Ezra's choreography just gets better and better, I think. And they did a perfect mix of like honoring them on from the dance. And then what a reveal. We got JGL in the ballroom. The cast of 10. I gasped. I thought it was just going to end with that moment with the flower. And then when she turned around, they were all there. I went, oh, my God. I know they've been keeping them secret the entire night. They hit that. You know what I'm thinking? I was like, wow, Joseph Gordon Levitt saw Tyler and Tate's baby reveal. I don't know why my brain immediately went so true. Yeah, I wonder if they'll hit him with a congrats. It was it was it was really awesome, though, to honor Heath in that way. And the fact that the whole cast showed up was so cool. I mean, it's crazy. She was 17 years old, like what? I know. I know. I know. It really is so crazy. I think it just proves, you know, when Julia Sous calls you answer, right? Like she's like, hey, guys, I need you. And they're like, we got you. We got you, which is so, so nice. And it was such a beautiful end. And I don't know if it was just because like, baby, I was so taken aback by the surprise because I don't know if it was just because after Tyler and Tate, like, I just felt like I knew everything that was happening in this episode. And I was like, oh, weird, weird, that I didn't, where did they kept that from us about the about the cast reveal? Why? We didn't know that. Yeah. Oh, nobody needs to dance. It was always one of us today. So we're still on the inside. We didn't know that part. It was it was a beautiful bead. I think the beautiful count is must be at 150 for this for the 20 minutes that we've been talking. What else are we supposed to say? I go, I can look at adjectives, but yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the way it is synonyms, synonyms, well, different adjectives to adjectives to describe and synonyms to beautiful. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So stunning, fabulous, gorgeous, heartwarming. All of them. All of them. All the things are truly beautifully evening. And then as we said before, they always close. We know, because first of all, the credits start to roll. They haven't even said one name. It's like, okay. And it's 10 and it's 9.59 PM. It's 9.59. I know what's going on right now. It's 9.59 and like 45 seconds. Is it kind of fucked up of me to hope that one year they do send someone home? Yeah. That out of the blue, they just throw them all off. They're like, Oh, you thought you were safe. I just feel like for drama purposes, we would see some shocked faces. You have to say what? Because they showed them and then they have to like pretend be shocked that no one's going home. Yeah. Owens. He's like, Oh, wow. To pretend be shocked that I was going, um, yeah. You know what? I think they're probably like, we've had our fair share of drama this week. Let's just, let's wrap this one up. If they really wanted to double down, they would have been like, Oh, let's somebody home tonight. Oh my god. Well, it's going to be a, it's going to be a double elimination next week. Yeah. Double elimination next week, surely in the ballroom. This is no joke. I mean, yeah, it might be Halloween. Things are going to get spooky. Spooky and scary and Halloween. Then we're going to get, we're going to get real real fast. Yeah. Yeah. Things are going to get real. So, well done, everybody. Dedication night was a smash hit as always. Yeah. It was such an amazing night. And, what a way to honor everybody in their lives. And you know what? If you're feeling emotional like me, tell some people you love them tonight. Because I sure did. I did too. I was sending out text like, you just mean so much to me. I did too. After Amber dancer or sister, I was like, I post on my story to, to Gia was like, God, have an assistant rocks. Yeah. It just, it makes you feel all the things. And I'm such a big, uh, proponent of telling people you love them. And what you feel about them while they're here, I think that's very important. So, if you're feeling inspired, you go do that. And if not, then you know, tell people to fuck off. I don't know. Yeah. Um, what a beautiful night. Love you guys. Yes. Love you. And we'll get into the rest of the episode where now that time and hours have passed. I am thinking about how much I brought up just in two weeks music over and over and over again. So yeah, be prepared for that. I, you know what, my sincerest apologies now that I've had some hours to digest how many times I said it. But you know what? If you agree, let me know. I think a lot of, don't be shy. A lot of people are, a lot of people are gonna, are gonna agree with you. Don't you worry. Please don't be shy about agree. Please. All right. I wraps it up. Hi. So reports are saying that Jay Z has picked Jay Z. Yeah, for the Super Bowl half time. The NFL says the NFL is innocent. And Jay Z is picking Jay Z. Jay Z picks Clark. This is not I picked Jay Z. This is not surprising to me at all. I feel like the groundwork was sort of being built for this. I know there's been so many rumors. Miley Bieber. Like there's been so many sort of these pop in the pop world of who would be doing it. But if you sort of look at like what Jay Z has been doing and and doing shows again and having these big moments, it couldn't make you think like, ooh, it is the sort of the same logic that people thought with Miley. It was like, oh, Miley's doing these Hollywood ball shows. Is it in preparation for the Super Bowl? It's like, well, Jay Z went on a whole nother tour. Right? What's the number? Super Bowl. This is this is 60. I hate to admit that I'm I see the Roman numerals. I just I gotta look at it. I got no idea. Six, 60, two, three. It is 61. 61. I felt like last year was a big number. Yeah, Super Bowl 60 half time show. I heard that. Yeah, so 61 on Valentine's Day. Yeah, that's going to be something for for people. Yeah, and here's the thing. Like my brain immediately goes Beyonce, right? Like, I'm like, okay, I'm just Jay Z. And it's gotta get Beyonce. Beyonce has to come out. So that makes me happy. What do you I feel like Valentine's Day? It's just an easy solution. Go Friday or Saturday and then Sunday you all to Super Bowl. Yeah, definitely. That makes Valentine's Day actually way easier for most people unless you are someone that books Valentine's Day way in advance and you have no idea that the Super Bowl is that day. Then honestly, the reservations are going to be available. Yeah, it was actually
It's the reservation will probably be available if there's a restaurant you've been wanting to go to You proper who's going I don't like they do the price fix thing down time say which I don't like you know Let me order what I want fix or price fix. I don't know. It's prefix prefix prefix It is a fixed price it is a fixed price for fixed menu. Yeah You're right. I know that's why going like the day before or day after is usually that's that is or you find a restaurant that doesn't do that Yeah, yeah, yeah, but anyways, yeah besides the point Jay Jay Jay Jay Jay I'm pumped about this I Can't say I went one way or another I feel like I'm always just happy about this real half-time like I don't think I'm ever particularly mad about who he chose for the super one half-time show because shocker It is always someone pretty well known right. It's like oh, okay. We get like a free great performance Yeah, I don't know why is everyone always up in arms about who they pick like I I don't know. I yeah, I'm not sure either and I I know everyone really wants Everyone always kind of roots for their favorite artist and I think with the Miley stuff it was our generation that really was hoping it would be Catered maybe to our generation Like Jay Z is we've had like no Drop man's plan the absolutely is but Jay Z also appears appeals to people a bit older, but I feel like he appeals all ages Yeah, you think Gen Z I don't know Who's gonna appeal to them? We're not getting Taylor. So if we're not in pairs, I was like well the jet I think Gen Z loves bad money All right, so then they got they got last year right right right right the give this one to us I mean also like are Gen Z even watching the Super Bowl? No, they're probably just complaining. We're just complaining about it. We're talking about them like they're aliens What do they do with their time? You are borderline Gen Z. Oh, stop. Also, okay, but I love Jay Z And highly sirens and bad bunny like I That's what I'm saying. I'm all over the map and Jay. I think realistically Jay Z will put together a great show fantastic He's Jay Z. He's fucking Jay Z. And he's gonna be upset about Jay Z shut the fuck up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sorry Well, people are networked television. I can't say that. I would even love if Jay Z brought out Justin Timberlake I was I was gonna say the exact same thing and you know what listen. He should Everybody's got a problem Justin Timberlake, right? It's like everyone did like a full switch on him Not everyone but a lot of people did like a full switch on Justin Timberlake. Yes The the the DUI not good. Yeah, really bad. Can't be doing that. No the cheating on on Yeah, alleged alleged cheating on Jesse B.O. Yeah Okay Um, he gets pulled over again before this is gonna ruin the super rule. Right like the other's but some not we saw nothing like we've all seen the pictures. We see them New Orleans Justin Timberlake is one of the greatest of all time. Mm-hmm Hands down in my opinion. I think it should be in a lot of people's opinions. Yeah, look at that man's You love Justin Timberlake's music Everybody should. Yeah. Yeah. I like Justin. What are they? What's it called? Music? What? What comes around? No, no, no, I mean What's it called the things that they sell? Like he sold his Mass his catalog his catalog catalog he's yeah, he did that look at Justin Timberlake's catalog and tell me He doesn't have some of the greatest songs. He does fantastic songs He does have fantastic passion about Justin. He likes music. Yeah, he sold it for just over a hundred million now Here's the thing has he been back to the Super Bowl since the Janet Jackson That brings him both that Redemption well, of course now the super will have to have Joe is run by different people. I forgot Jay-Z is in charge That's the beautiful things. He can do whatever he wants. Yeah, yeah, but Justin Timberlake has just has Justin Timberlake I Mean he shouldn't bring out Justin Timberlake, but is it? Has Justin Timberlake hasn't stuff anywhere near? He returned to the no in 2018. He were he performed in the Minnesota one that we were at His third time performing that was his third time But he wasn't was he a headlight. I don't know if he was a headlight Super Bowl He had lines 2018 Justin Timberlake headline the 2018 No, let's look that up. There's no way. He that's the one that the Eagles once Justin Timberlake Justin Timberlake was the headliner of the 2018 my parents my parents were there for that You know, I was so Anywhere near the Super Bowl. I really I was like have they invited him back at all and back in a big way I forgot about the malfunction. All right, so lock him in lock him in to come me out with Jay-Z. That's got to be Well, that was yeah Oh, what this band. Okay here. I was so and of course In on the the game and he did it. I did it prints Yeah, yeah, I don't think I really paid any attention to this halftime show because the Eagles were playing and I like was They want I was yes, they were but I believe I was like beat the Patriots. They missly beat the Patriots I do believe I was like Dry heaving by myself in the bathroom like in at Joe's house like just deep breathing Just being like can they do this and they will and they will do this now I'm on such a Justin Timberlake music kickly and I think that this is where this is all stemming from with me I just didn't really been back to this and I'm me forgetting about the malfunction Do you not like his music that much? I just feel like I'm not getting that from you. No, I absolutely do You don't like it, but I love it. I like it a lot. It's an amazing dancer amazing performer Yeah, yeah, some personal flood ups, but everyone has so many people have had I'm not defending his flood ups But so many people I've had very similar flood ups him that are still You know what I mean like people have just decided like they just pick and they go we're never forgiving him But we'll forgive this person. Yeah, you know So I use one to acknowledge that he does have some of the best music of all time in my personal God soon tie at the Super Bowl that would hit look it's not even stupid like like I don't have my phone on me So I'm gonna tell you to look up Justin Timberlake's albums go to Spotify and and go to his popular go down go to his albums I've been a future sex love sounds great one and then Yeah, okay, no he wasn't quite there yet rock your body crime your river. Yeah, I mean, this is really Amazing, but go to went where was um What goes around comes around I think that's future sex that's future sex. This album. No, this album is great Sexy back had the world and a chokehold for like two years It's still if you ask me my top five favorite songs sexy back is in my top five favorite songs summer love. I mean Just sure just they should have brought Justin Timberlake back. I can't believe you missed his big Super Bowl at that show in 2018 Here we were so tired of our trip to Minnesota Here I am loving Justin Timberlake someone's not even knowing that he did right 2018, but you're basically pitching him to do the several halftime show that he did eight years ago No, yeah, it's more so I'm just talking about how good his songs are and they are they are fantastic and and it's like I will be ecstatic if he comes out and does Holy Grail with Jay Z that will be incredible this the way that song feels to me Holy Grail yeah There are certain tickles a tickles right and everybody has those certain songs for them that just spark a memory And tickles your spine that should be your guys walk out song holy grail that's the beat drop No, well, no, I don't like it that much. Yeah, it just it just sparks a memory. It just has that tickle. Yeah, and you know I was This here's the thing. I was listening to Jay Z this morning I had Tom Fordon, you know like I just I love Jay Z Smooth. Yeah, you know in the Jay Z if you play Super Bowl I think it's a guaranteed Beyonce comes out guaranteed. I think it's a pretty much a lock as well I wonder if you know, you know famously Jay Z has a lot of songs That are very popular with Kanye He's famous like you think he would play any of those when he has been he has been playing them on in his shows Kanye's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because he does have some great great and also like I don't say how do you leave them out of his Super Bowl have this town Yeah, so some of his best songs were produced by Kanye like the beats and stuff. So it's like he's that's top He's very tired Otis. I mean we're dealing with a Super Bowl in L.A. Where's the Super Bowl this year? I like yeah, I mean wow, there's just really so many that's unfortunate. Yeah, here's the thing with it's just a total turn from what people You know, it's like a Justin Bieber or a Miley Cyrus halftime show is is it's it's a I'm very different. I don't know if Miley appeals to more than Jay Z overall. I really don't it's a fair question It does bring up a fairly and Jay Z is the one deciding. I think he agrees He's like I appeal the most I or do you think it really came down to the last second where like they were trying to get someone and then And Miley didn't work out or these other people didn't work out and Jay. He's like I guess I'll have to do this Jay Z pay himself
- Isn't that a famous thing that you don't get paid for? - I don't think you get paid for this a lot of times, yeah. - Oh, right. - Google that. Back to Jay-Z as a person though for a second. - Yeah. - 'Cause I said I do love Jay-Z's music. It is really crazy to eat on Beyonce and she wrote a whole album about it. - And then you wrote a whole album, but it's-- - I know, and I feel like we moved on pretty quickly as a society past that whole thing. - Yeah. - Yeah, okay, so they're really not getting paid. They cover the cost of the show itself. - Right, and you know what, and that, 'cause that's one of the things where it's like, when that does happen and the couple says, I will publicly disclose, like you released an album like she did. But then you don't break up. It's like, well, what are we supposed to, you know? What do we do with that? - And do you remember when Beyonce said, of course some shit's gonna go down when there's a billion dollars on an elevator? And isn't that the truth? - I wonder how Salon's and Jay-Z get along these days. - And that elevator, like he would the good hair. - It's just chills when you think about that. - Yeah. - You know what, you're 100% correct. If there was a billion dollars in an elevator and I was in there, some shit would go down. - Yeah. - Like, you know. - Two of words, it's so true. But I think if I'm already setting the odds of the guest appearances, Beyonce's gotta be number one. - Rihanna. - Timberlake Rihanna. - M&M. - Alicia Keys. - I think M&M will be. - Alicia Keys. - Alicia Keys definitely. I think M&M will be pretty good. - Alicia Keys M&M. I'll put in Timberlake and Beyonce. - Beyonce's a lock, I would say. - I'm sorry. - I'm gonna pass away. - I'm gonna. - I'm actually blivvy for sure. - I feel like I'm having an out-of-body experiencing, experiencing picturing Jay-Z, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys. - It feels. - They didn't bring out a lot of people. - It feels like the 2022 Super Bowl. - It's those like-- - When it was Dr. Dre, M&M, kind of a mar-- - It was just me, you got everything. - Or more star-studded, I would say. - God, it's really, I'm just-- - I could see Jay-Z calling people up like-- - Lincoln Park. - No, people are saying Lincoln Park would be like a big one 'cause that would at least like-- - Right, right, right. - You're really covering the non-rappiness. - We're cross-john-ring. - When I just said Lincoln Park, my whole body shuck. - You see, I could just see him calling up these people like Markov, February 14th. - Right, well, if Jay-Z calls you answer, because Jay-Z and also Jay-Z is not doing a solo show ever. - I mean, all the shows he's been doing recently, he's been bringing out guests as well. - He's always been bringing out a lot of people, which is why he's probably been practicing, you know. - I feel like he might have an album coming up who people have been speculating that too. So this is all part of his master plan. For Elle would probably come out. - Wow. - Oh my god. - Yeah. - Sorry, I'm just taking a deep breath about this all. - I think we've certainly talked ourselves into this being a stacks performance. - You watch him come out now and it's just him. - No. That would be shock. - When it just interrelates Tour end, his world tour. - That nobody went to, and I honestly feel like, when did it begin, really? - July 30th, 20th, 20th, 20th, 25th, it officially concluded. He's available. - I mean, he brought him out already. - Yeah, he did, he did. - I just feel like we've now talked so much about Jay-Z coming out and performing that what if it's actually reported that he's not doing the halftime show? - Right, imagine. He was like, that actually was false, it's not me. - Yeah. - But it feels like, it feels like it'll probably be him. And for all those who wanted the Miley, the Justin, the Harry, you know, their time will come. I really do think that. Harry's very busy right now, yeah, absolutely is. And I think that they will have their moment. And if they really wanted to do a Super Bowl halftime show, they will do it at some point. You know what I'm saying? - If Justin Bieber was like, I want to do the halftime show, they're gonna do it. Yeah, I don't really want Justin Bieber to do it right now in the stage that he's in. He likes to perform slower songs right now. And I'm with you on the fact that I actually kind of like when the Super Bowl halftime show performer, they got a lot of years under their own show. - I was gonna say, I don't know if Harry's style is like, I could see a lot of older people being like, what the fuck, like, to Harry's styles? And I love Harry's styles. - Well, then you could say the same for like, when the weekend did it. - Yeah. - I get, yeah, I guess, yeah. - Let me tell you, I Harry's styles would say one song and win all those people over in a second, because he is an incredible. - He's a great performer now. - I think it's a lose, lose, lose. Like every Super Bowl halftime show, there's half people saying that was the worst thing ever and half people mean that. - Yeah, that happens, that's just the way it goes. That's just the way it goes, that's where you agree too. And another year, the Taylor Swift doesn't do it. I mean, I don't know. People want Taylor Swift to do it every single year. So it's maybe eventually she will do it, who knows? - Yeah, maybe eventually. It's like, stop pressure. Like why, like, I know. - Let it breathe. - Yep, yep. Moving on, J. Lowe and Brett Goldstein are casually dating. - Good for them. - The movie. - I'm not liking it too much, like. - No, no, I'm not as passionate about this. - Do you think they were dating when they were-- - Timberlake's catalog. - Do you think they were dating during that, during the movie? - I think maybe it sparked some crushes. - Yeah, right. - Jennifer Lowe does. - An office romance, one might say. - An office romance, are she each other? - Telling, source tells Page Six that, things right now are casual. They were seeing out at the same party, they were spotted leaving, we're spotted arriving at and leaving a talent manager's party in Los Angeles on the 16th, reportedly in the same car. Hell yeah, but they made sure to enter the party separately. That's like always a tell too. When you're going out of, if nothing's going on, you're just walking into the party together. You're like, we carpooled. This isn't a big deal. But if you're trying to hide something, it's like, oh, maybe you should go in before me. And I'll wait five minutes and you go, totally. This is a, I don't know. I don't, someone had their sassy pants on, talking to Page Six. They said the one thing they have in common is they both enjoyed going out to parties and restaurants, who snarkly added, unlike her ex, Ben Affleck, who always had a scowl on his face when they were out. Oh, okay, another guy I love, Ben Affleck. Really? - Yeah. - Yeah. - I do. Sorry, am I given like, and trouble for saying I love all these problematic men? - No, no, no. - I just feel like no one really has too strong of an opinion about Ben Affleck. These days. - He's just been winning me over in his interviews lately. - He seems really happy. - He does, he does seem to be letting it fly a little bit. - I never loved Ben Affleck before, but lately. You know, maybe I'm using the L word too flippantly, but lately, Ben in his interviews, I don't know if anyone's noticed. There's a little light to him. Yeah. - Yeah. - He seems happy. He seems like he's having a nice time. I did see a big rumor that I guess he in some Netflix exact had been feuding. - Really? - And maybe the Netflix exact quit or was fired or something. I don't call me on that, but it seems like there was tension perhaps after this movie came out that Noah gave a D plus two. - No, when I see, here's the thing that was awful. - When I see people like Kerry Washington, you love and support Ben Affleck. It makes me want to love and support Ben Affleck because I trust Kerry Washington. Does that make sense? It's absolutely does. You trust her judgment. - I trust her judgment. - That's the thing, a lot of people love Brad Pitt in the industry and then a lot of people would be like, "Well, he doesn't seem like a great guy." - That's the one that I have trouble with, Brad Pitt, because Chris is the same way. - There's a lot of people. - There's so many people have so many great things. - There's a lot of people have so many great things. - We're not, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're not. - And by the way, Ben Affleck's kids are good with him. And so is Jen Garner. Jen Garner and Ben Affleck are great friends. - Yeah, yeah. - And you know, maybe JLo doesn't fuck with Ben, but Jen Garner does. - She fucked up with him enough to get back together. - Exactly. And called him her one great love. - So like, I am a Ben Affleck fan. - Yeah. - I'm not saying Brad Pitt, I have trouble. I have trouble with the Brad Pitt thing. I really do because I can't stop talking. I'm like spilling out all, I feel like I'm sitting here and just like spilling out. I don't know what the word is, but it's like every thought I have is coming out of my mouth. There's no filter. - With Brad Pitt. - Like so many people have so many lovely things to say about Brad Pitt, including Jennifer Aniston, which is insane. - And in saying considering what Brad Pitt did to Jennifer Aniston, she still likes and respects him. - Yeah. - But that doesn't mean, but so. - That's a Jennifer Aniston. - No, but I'm not defending him. I'm just saying like. - No, I'm saying. - With different experiences. - But then. - Yeah. - Publicly, but. - You never. - You never know what she's saying behind Glowsdores and she can't like, in an interview as.
be asked about him and be like, yeah, if I can hit that guy, right? And then that would be it. Obviously, when your kids want nothing to do with you, it raises an eyebrow like Tom Cruz and Brad Pitt, you're like, why do their kids want nothing to do with them? And it's just really unfortunate that Brad Pitt gets better looking with age because he is seriously so handsome and getting more handsome by the day. And I find that to be annoying. So I'm sure so to his children, right? Well, I don't know if his children care that he's getting good. Well, well, well, then that he just stayed like every year. He's just like, people are just like, oh, my God. Right. Everyone's always so much like Brad Pitt because he's so good looking. Yeah. And meanwhile his kids are like, oh, really? Because my dad's a dick. Yeah. So who knows? Who knows? Really died. We don't know what's going on behind closed doors for these, for these people. You really don't know. But I would say, and you guys correct me from wrong. Yeah. That it seems as though Ben Affleck is probably better than Brad Pitt. I think that that's I think that's a pretty, I think that's a lot. And so I think I'm being friends with Matt Damon his whole life. Knock on what I hope that's a lock. But I think it's safe to say for me to say that I love Ben Affleck right now. Hey, we got, you know, we love Glen Powell and we love and we trust Glen Powell. Glen Powell loves Tom Cruise. He does. He does. He does. You do a movie with Tom Cruise. I'm sure you're like, wow, I fucking love this. I know how much you know Tom Cruise. You're not going home with them at the end of the night. Exactly. Exactly the person that someone goes home with at the end of the night is so different than how they are like as a friend. And you know Tom, Tom Cruise could be way different inside his home. Yeah. Or Matt. Tom Cruise is at like 9 p.m. and it's like, isn't that crazy? I'm picturing him like risky business, which is definitely not how he is. Or else, I don't know, you know, I don't know if he's sliding around. You don't know risky business. I know I know the move. I just never seen it. But you don't know the reference. Yeah, but you know the reference of what everybody dressed up. He's dancing around in socks. Okay. I know that scene. Or he does that. Yeah. Yeah. That's why I put your Tom Cruise at night doing. But I don't. But I think he's in a room alone studying Scientology being weird. Yeah. He's a tough, tough, tough one. Very. Yeah. Yeah. Anyways, what were you talking about? Brett Goldstein. You know, poor Brett Goldstein. This is about him. Okay. He's a sweet man who has locked down J. Low seemingly. And he's very funny. I think J. Low needs a funny guy. Not that Benathick wasn't funny. I think he's funny. But he's like in a funny depressed Boston way. And Brett Goldstein's funny in like a witty British humor way. Yeah, like Brett Goldstein's in like, I'm having fun. Yeah. Yeah. He's writing, you know, he's doing working on shows like shrinking in Ted Lasso and just like cheesy being, you know, funny with the shows have some light to them. Yes. Ben is funny in a, I have a lot of trauma way. And Brett is funny. Are you missing Brett more off the characters he's played? Like, have you seen a lot of him like in real life? No, I've watched some interviews of him. Yeah. And I'm not saying he's like Kent in real life. And he said, well, as I'm saying, probably played some nice, funny guys or the guy in shrinking, he, he kills Jason Seagull's wife. I like it. Which is still the craziest thing that everyone in that show is like, we love him. Even though they, she killed. Well, it was it's a point, you know, they didn't immediately love him. It's still. Yeah. You're not becoming a friend for that guy. Anyway, I, you know, I never saw office romance. Did you see it? No. Did you get that one? I didn't get that one. I didn't watch it either. But I'll be honest, seeing this now makes me want to go back and watch. I just started like zoning off in the distance. Like, do I regret everything I just said in the past 40 minutes? Like, like, should we strap this entire episode where I'm talking about how much I love Justin Timberlake and Ben. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like, I'm in the mix. And I through Brad Pitt in the mix. Like, I'm not trying to be like this, man apologists. No, no, no. It's not what this is about. No, I want that to be very clear. No, it's about Justin Timberlake's music, Ben. It's about the art. It's about the art. And it's not about the man himself. Okay. Oh, man. I want that to be clear. Like, I'm going to be thinking about this all night. You really want through the trifecta. I can't believe I had Justin Timberlake Ben off. Like, I'm Brad Pitt. We just bring the little Tom Cruise and Tom Cruise and Jay Z. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah. Let's give a shout out to all the wonderful women out there that don't have all these things that are, you know, that we have to talk here. Listen, how we didn't bring up one woman because they show up for their children. They show up for their children. And we don't got to, you know, jump through hoops to decide what their art's really good. Yeah. We're trusting them about their judgment on these guys. Exactly. Which, which is how we hope is fair. Thank you. That's why I'm saying Carrie Washington. Yeah. Whatever we hope is we hope is there. But, uh, you know, good luck to JLo and and Brett Goldstein as they venture into this, and this parent feels like it could be a good match for her, but you just never know. Well, there ever be the right match for JLo. And one would argue it was Ben Affleck, you know, we really thought it was. I really thought we really thought it was, but could be Brett. And so it goes another yes it does. Moving on. I have to take a deep breath after all that. Yeah. Shall we move on to Sammy and Tyree? Yeah. I was going to say more and I said, just shut up and moving on. No, no, we'll finish. We'll finish this out. If you guys have no clue who the hell we're talking about, that is also okay. But Sammy and Tyree, they're from Love Island, UK. Sammy won all stars with Kirin a mere eight months ago. That ended I think in like February. That ended quickly. She was with Tyree. There was potentially some rumors that her and Tyree had spoken before she was on the show. They knew each other already. Tyree is also done. He did love Island games. I'm pretty sure. He's been all over. You really can't miss the guy when a love Island season is on because he's commentating on everything. He's a he's a streamer. He streams on and you can constantly see his opinion. It's always coming up in my TikTok. And they started dating and then bam, pregnancy announcement. They're having a baby. So naturally, the fans were sort of doing the math and they also were at a they were on a carpet on Monday night where the bump was debuted. And there was a video I saw that it looked like she was asked maybe how far along she was and it looked like she mowed four months. We didn't hear her say it. It was someone trying to lip read that she was saying around four months. And you know, that just pushed the timeline even closer together. It was like, wow, things happened very fast. But they seem very happy and they're together and there's not much more. You can judge on that besides you scratch your head a little bit. And if you're carrying, you're definitely like, huh, right. Like listen, when it comes to a pregnancy, you don't want to be like, what the hell? You're happy for them. They're happy. Obviously, the timeline is a little bit. The timeline is confusing for sure. But if they're happy, then I'm happy. Yeah. And they've been posting like her friends have been posting videos and they've been funny and excited for for this. But we've been following, following along with their relationship. And it seemed all good. And then this is a big, this is a big reveal. So a lot has changed from where she'll be February of 26 to February of 27. Quite the change. Quite the change in a year. Quite the change. Yes. Yes. But that's, that's showbiz, baby. Yeah. We'll go for them. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm sure we will, I'm sure we'll hear all about it. Like Tyrick is joking about streaming weddings, showers, streaming anything. Really, he's looking to stream whatever he can stream. I think that's the streaming life. Good. I think you made a joke about streaming the birth. I made a face. Good. Good. Yeah. That's a joke you should make. No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Look, you gave him one of these. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, and he talks a mile a minute. You know, you know, now he talks so fast that guy. But yeah, wow, hopefully they keep some things private. You know, I don't think I don't think something should. But when you're when you're streaming, when you're they stream everything, they they know no bounds. They're like, let's stream. Their wife's a stream. Yep. Swinhole stream. That's song. Life's a stream. Life's a dream. Life's a dream. What's that song? Life's a dream. Is it a different like song? Life's a bitch. No. No. Life's a stream. Life's a stream. You mean the one that David Beckham was there? Oh, barely. Life's a, but a dream. No. Life's a stream. Life is, but it's a stream. Marley, Marley, Marley. Life's a stream. We're saying you row row row your boat. Islands in the stream. No, we're saying row row row row row row your boat. What's the war? Please bring up. Please bring up the world row row row your boat. Jen Lee down the stream. Marley, Marley, Marley, Marley, Marley. Life's a dream. Yes. Life is what a dream. Life is but a dream. There it is. That's what I was thinking. I was thinking of the classic row row row row your boat. How could we possibly not think of that first? Well done.
- Yeah, what song is that? - It's hit single. - Roll, roll, roll, roll your boat? - Roll, roll, roll your boat. - Tently down the street. - And we should all remind ourselves of that. - Life is about a dream. - How about that? - And that wraps us how they feel, having a baby. - And being on stream all the time. - And stream down the stream. - Tently down the stream. - Yeah, all right. Well, that wraps up the topics. - It's hard hitting news. - Sure does. (dramatic music) - Before we get into the popcorner, let's be honest, sometimes choosing what to watch is less about what you want to watch and more about what mood are you in. Maybe you want to laugh until you cry. Maybe you want edge of your seat drama. Maybe you want to escape reality entirely. And I love that Amazon Prime lets you follow that feeling beyond the screen. You can find the shows, movies, and sports that give you exactly the vibe. You're craving on Prime Video. And with Prime's fascism, you can get the things you need to make that moment, even better, delivered right to your door. - Absolutely, my current vibe is romance. I just want something that I can get completely lost in. And I'm definitely ordering some popcorn because that's part of the experience. - I've been watching drama on Prime and it's been perfect. And obviously I'm ordering snacks to go with it. It's basically your entertainment and shopping sidekick that gets the assignment. Because when you're creating your night, you shouldn't have to settle for just watching the feeling. You can actually live it. From streaming to fast shipping, it's on Prime. (dramatic music) - All right, let's get into the popcorn or we're taking your hot takes or voicemails your opinions, Noah, play the first track. - Hey, Vrea, Fran and Noah. This is Danny calling from Baltimore, Maryland. I'm absolutely love listening to your guys' podcast every week. Wanted to ask if you have seen the discourse going on online about the shows that Miley did at the Hollywood Bowl this past weekend. I know there was a lot of criticism online for how she wasn't really singing all of her hit songs. It was mostly the audience that she was playing the mic to sing for most of the time that she was talking for a lot of the show. Now personally, I love Miley always have always well and would love the chance to be able to see her. I know that she has stopped touring really doing shows anymore. So I would have been happy regardless, but at the same time, I guess I can kind of see why some people who went to the show might have been a little upset with the experience. I know it was a ton of money for tickets, but I know that you guys were talking about wanting to be able to go. So just wanted to see if you saw the discourse. If you still wish you had gone, if you were happy you didn't go. Regardless, always will love Miley and love hearing what you guys have to say. So thanks. - We did see the discourse and we love Miley. And you know, dare I say, I feel a little spoiled because we've had Miley. We've seen Miley sing five feet in front of us. And that was an experience I will never forget. And she's such an amazing performer. I think that maybe there were some kinks with this. And I did see a lot of criticism. I will say I saw like people saying, "Oh, she didn't sing a lot of the hits." And my first thought was, oh, you know, how bad, how bad could it be, you know? And I watched videos of specifically, I think it was Friday night, we can't stop. And it was a lot of holding the mic in the air. And then I went, you know, because my gut instinct is to defend Miley always. Like, she is one of our all-time favorites. We love her so much. But yes, when you kind of include the hype around the show and all the people traveling and the price and all these things, watching for multiple choruses where she's not singing the chorus, I can understand that. I can understand being frustrated with that. But there are also so many people that were there who loved the experience and had so much fun. I also saw a lot of die-hard Miley fans who love bass persuades say that the crowd wasn't as into the bass persuades stuff. And maybe that's frustrating or, you know, you're, it's the bass persuades show. That was the name of the show. And then people who are there maybe are more casual or whatever, they just really love Miley's hits. And then they expect those to be the bigger moments. But Miley's really into what she's putting out right now. And that's her prerogative. So you see, like, there's, there's both. And I'm sure the people that were allowed is about the criticism. We're there to see the hits. And maybe we're just satisfied with that. - Yeah, I think you kind of nailed all the points. I don't know if I have anything else to add because I think you're right in terms of like, this is the bass persuades show. People are going holy shit. We haven't seen Miley perform so long. They think they're getting like an Errors tour Miley version. That's not the case. You're getting a bass persuades show where for the encore, she's going to throw in "We Can't Stop" and "Flowers" and the biggest hits. And Miley was none too pleased with the criticism because that on the second night, she was like, you know, firing back, like while I'm doing "Cart Wheels" across the stage 'cause I'm singing live. - Yeah. - So I feel like she didn't take, you know, she wasn't happy with the criticism. - No, it just was like, oh, I didn't know. I was supposed to sing every fucking word. Yeah, which, like you said, you know, I do run sometimes you do sing more words. - I do run to defend Miley most of the time. - All the time. - But if I was there on the second night and she said that, I would have been like, oh. - Interesting. - That is interesting. - You are a singer. - You're right. And people did buy expensive tickets to your show and they traveled here because you also said you know people will travel to you. So when you're acknowledging that you know people are going to travel to you, but then you're still not going to sing all the words. - I don't know, we got to pick here, you know? - Yeah, it is very tricky. And I also think, like I said, there's a bit of not like knocking off the dust because she could crush her performance with the drop of a hat, really. But it's been a while for her doing shows like this or this caliber or putting together a show and what she wanted to look like. And I think that sometimes there's a little bit of a disconnect with what Miley wants to do creatively and what serves her the most and serves her and fulfills her and what she wants to do versus what the audience and the fan base wants her to do and expects from her. And that can be really difficult because I think Miley has 100% deserve the right to do what she wants to do. And this is what she wanted to do. So it's hard to criticize that in the sense. It's like, well, this is the show that she planned in the show that she wanted to do and it took a lot of her to do this in the first place. I thought we were never going to see Miley do a show like this ever again. Like we thought, I really thought she was totally done performing at this level or at least would have been for a really long time. So on the same side of it, it's like, hey, let's appreciate what we're getting, you know? I think at the end of the day, she just doesn't really love live performing full-blown concerts anymore. Yeah. And I think that she has had so many different eras of music that those, some of those past eras and past hits, she just don't resonate with her as much now. And she just doesn't, I don't think she loves doing them as much as the fans want to hear them. And I think like that kid, you can clash on that. At the end of the day, bangers was her best album. And, and right, that's your opinion. She can't stop. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean, yeah. So it's really, it's tricky. And the same with Wrecking Ball. It's like, does she really want to be singing Wrecking Ball? I don't, I don't think she does. I adore you Wrecking Ball, we can't stop. Yeah. So yeah, there it's hard, it's hard. And she puts so much in a new era. She feels so like creatively fulfilled with what she's doing and braze persuades and all these things. And I think she just wants her audience to love the new stuff that she does just as much. And sometimes that doesn't happen. And I'm sure that's frustrating too, totally. Yeah. All right, let's go to the next one. Hey guys, I'm such a big fan. I love all three of you guys. Shana, I know I love you. Okay, my high take is that I think that every day there needs to be a driver's test for people over the age of 75. Or I think of like 70, I feel like I'd be driving next to people and they just do not, do not know how to drive and I drive by them and I realize, oh, they're an old person. And like, you kind of feel bad, but also at the same time, like, should you really be behind the wheel? So like, I just like, I just, I don't know. Like, give me your guys opinions on that. I guess you like we need a driver's test every couple of years for people over the age of 70. Because I feel like there's too many people driving.
now that are just too old to be driving, and that might some mean, but I think that it's not not enough, and I think that we finally got right. But yeah, I love all of you guys, and I love, love, love, love watching your show. Bye. Thank you. Love you. She's so cute. And let me get, I want to say she's definitely young. Yeah. Well, but I 100% agree with her. I absolutely 1,000% agree. Yeah, because as somebody who just renewed their driver's license and saw how easy it was to do a eye test online, I didn't even have to go anywhere. I did an eye test over zoom with who who on the zoom called themselves ophthalmologist, whatever, and said, yep, you pass, it was so easy. Yeah. That it made me think of this exact thing where you 100% I think after the age of 75, you need to get another break is it need to get another driver's test because if you and if you are over the that age and you're still good to go, you pass the test, no problem, hopefully. I just, you know, I think of like my grandma still drives, and I the thought of me saying to her, because of your age, you got to take a new test. Oh my god, she would be infuriated. But I think it has to happen because actually you're right. There are so many accidents that happen because of, you know, people on the road that can't see and this really doesn't exist from what what we're looking at. Only a small number of states have age-based requirements for behind the wheel tests. Illinois requires a road test starting at age 87. Following the 26 change that lifted the mandatory road test for age of 79 to 86. I would like seven is up there. And listen, I'm both my grandpa's are in past 87. I would like for them both. They both still drive. I would like for them both to take another another driver's test. I would. Do you drive with that? Do they drive you? I have driven with both of them and they both have their own separate issues. All right. Yeah. Well, no one all gets tickets left and right and can accidents that he claims is not his fault. It is his fault. Whole thing. Yeah. Baba drives two miles per hour. Like they both need to get new driver's test. And by the way, I don't think either of them would. So this so we really this this girl is really just asking that we just switch over to what the UK does, which is drivers age 70 and older must renew their license every three years and make illegal declaration regarding their eyesight and health. But is do you have to actually take a test or can you just like, you can just like, I guess, you just say, hey, my like I wanted the doctor. My eyesight is I think at 75. And then 80 again, you got to get back in the car going to driver's head. Yeah. No, I not you don't have to go to drivers, but you got to get back in the car. Imagine this is a 16 year old and then like 90 year olds. Yeah. I mean. Yeah. I see the argument. No, I get it too. Is she clearly just had a frustrating experience? And you know what that would however, that would help though. Like people who fight with their family members who try to tell them they can't drive anymore, but they insist they can still drive because they have their license. Well, if they get their license taken away, then then then that rules out having to argue with your parents at that age about, hey, you can't drive anymore because guess what? You got your license taken away. Yeah. I also could see most like people in their 70s just ignore like if they have to ridden with their license, they're just like, I'm not going to get pulled over in the big is. Y'all. I think 75. I think I put it at 80. Like I'm just thinking about how well my dad like I was just a true. Things could change quickly here, but like if I in five years, if I was like, Dad, give me your keys. You can't be behind the behind the wheel anymore. Like you'd be like, are you fucking kidding me? Yeah, I think it really is case by case because I'm thinking about like losing my grandma at 77. She at that point, but she had cancer was very old. So like, she wasn't old in age, but she got old because she was sick. Yeah, yeah. Not just a whole other conversation, but yeah, I could see 80 more of being rage. 72 young. 70s to young. For sure, to be like, you have to go take a test again. But 75. Yeah. We can argue more. Yeah, 80. I would. Yeah. Hi, we have Brandon Noah. Hi, this is Kayla from St. Louis. So excited for you guys to be here. My hot take is I don't even think it's a hot take because I feel multiple people would agree with me. What on earth is Abby Lee Miller still doing? What is she doing? Starting a new show with Candy Apple Kathy about the new generation of dancers. Give these kids a break. Like you should stop. Yeah, no, they are you even so, are we even still teaching anymore? Why are we making a new show? Is it like, I think it's like a short vid, like, you know, like those Instagram real shows? What is this for? Who's putting a kid up for them? Who thought this was a good idea? She's like, I create champions. Okay, no, those kids created themselves through drama. Anyway, that's how I feel. I'm not, I just don't know. I just don't know what the point is. Who's watching? I mean, also, not really how to take either team Kathy. I think they're actually friends and really if I think the whole beefing on this show was fake, but team Kathy, because Abby should have, she should retire. We should be doing something else like on a farm somewhere. I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, have a good day, guys. Can we just see you in St. Louis? Here's the thing. Yeah, short team Kathy. But Kathy was a weirdo as well. Neither of these women should be teaching kids anymore. And I had to go check this out for myself. Anybody who is willingly sending their kid to Abby Lee Miller at this point in time. Right, right, right. Somebody should be waiting to arrest these parents on the spot if they are willingly putting their kids with Abby Lee Miller. The history is there. It's written, it's written pretty clearly. And you're not trusting bad Apple Kathy either. Like I don't want to trust verse Kathy. Classic. They're doing a throwback dance moves. The rivalry returns coming soon. You can tune in on short vids. I don't even know what that platform is. V Y D Z. Listen, listen, when the candy apples, sounds legit. When the candy apples came into town. It was a good episode, but we don't need it anymore. And people certainly shouldn't be having their kids still trained with Abby Lee Miller. Kathy, I don't know. Kathy wasn't that bad of an egg, but she was nuts. As well, everybody on the show was nuts. Yeah, yeah. Just feels like, you know, a certain point you just accept that it's over. It's over. You know, take care of yourself, enjoy your life and close that chapter. Take care of your kids and don't put them in Abby Lee Miller school. Yeah, exactly. On both sides, on both sides, it really is quite crazy. I did not know she was still judging children. Children's dancing. I thought, I thought that like she wasn't allowed to do that anymore. All right, everyone, we are here with two very special guests. We have Connie, Brandon, Sam, Navola, in studio. We are so excited to have you guys here. Thank you for coming in. We're doing the thing. We're still comfortable on campus. Yeah. We're not awkward. Do you guys love doing press together? Yeah. Oh my god. We were just talking about it. I love. It's so it's really awesome. Like, honestly, it's so great because we just like, it's just so nice. We're such good partners. We're gonna be so stressful if you have someone that like doesn't really know what they're doing and says crazy stuff because then you kind of have to like, right, they'll be like, and what do you think? I'm gonna say some crazy stuff. I'm gonna say something. This is right here on this show. It's your moment. I'm getting it. Yeah, the hard hitting questions are coming. I'm ready. I'm ready. No, we love it. We're so excited. I feel like when you guys walked in, I was like, this is an amazing pairing. Yeah. And I could just tell right away that you guys love working together. We do. We help. Yeah. Oh, yeah. You're right. This would be awkward. Yeah. Exactly. It was, it was no. It was great. So fun. You guys are playing a mother and son duo on phony. The first two episodes are out. We've seen the first two episodes. And at first, it's a show that is kind of hard to describe. You have to watch it to really understand how do you guys describe it in the easiest of terms? Well, that is how I actually say something like that. You just have to watch it because there's not one genre that defines the show, which I love. For TV, you know, it's so exciting when something comes on the air. You're like, Oh, wait, I haven't seen something exactly like this before. And it really is like that. I the best way I describe it is like, it's a ride. Yeah. You got to take the ride. Definitely. And it's kind of like, I know, like you said, it's hard to describe, but maybe thriller comedy, comedy thriller. It's because there are laughs. A lot of laughs, like right off the back, just, oh, yeah. I mean, definitely for sure. Yeah. Definitely comedy. And it's scary. I mean, it's great. I feel like it has a little bit of everything, which is pretty awesome. Like it's it's the thing is that like everything is in service of this one thing, which is kind of about our relationship and the end and about coming of age and motherhood and and and, you know, a kid's relationship with his mom. But it also contains all these sort of different facets that appeal to very different groups of people, but are kind of in service of the one thing, which is really smart. Yeah. How did you guys both get brought on to Tony? Well, I mean, I guess they, I guess Nick sent me the script. Yeah. Don't don't be humble. Yeah. I guess he sent me the script, but then it was really like conversations about like, well, how do we do this? Right. How do we do? Like, what, how does this work exactly? And what's really going on? I mean, we had to have all those conversations because it really is, the show is very mysterious. And even like just reading it initially, it was very mysterious. So, but I just again, like I was saying, like when something comes along that just feels like, I don't think I've seen this before and I don't think I've done it before as an actor. I'm like, yeah, that's exciting. I love to do that. Did you, did you know? And of course, we're not spoiling a single thing, but did you know how it was all going to wrap up before you agreed to do it? Or was that not a part of it? I did like, Nick gave me like, he gave like he had a very like long, extensive sort of, here's what's, here's what happens. And I was like, yeah, that's exactly you're not alone in that. Right? I was going to, I was going to say, did you feel the same way? Totally. I mean, it was like, it was, it was, I mean, I still feel the same. Yeah. We had, because he, I mean, the thing about Nick is that he made this, he'd been pitching this show for a long time. And like, you know, obviously pitching a show in Hollywood is really freaking hard. And I think he like had a lot of doors slim in his face before he made it to Hulu. And he had this sizzle reel, which kind of like went viral in like Hollywood circles of like, like everyone I knew who had sort of heard about the project was like, oh my god, have you seen this sizzle reel? I was like, yeah, what do you mean the sizzle reel? And it was like this super cut that he had made a bunch of the other different movies and shows stitched together to kind of create a scene from phony to pitch the tone. And he worked so hard on it. And that kind of explained a lot of the plot, but also left enough out to make you interested. And like, that also like really showed his creativity. Yeah. And his tone, which is like, that's the thing that is the most unique about phony, I would say, right? It's like this kind of humor that it is, the way that it's shot. For sure. Yeah. Yeah. I'm so excited for the show. And I know so many other people are I feel like you two are both such fantastic actors and seeing more of both of you is so exciting. I'm sure people have brought up that like in another universe, this is like if your white Lotus seasons crossed over and you were actually her son in the first season. Oh my god. Well, my character is pretty similar. Yeah. To Fred's character. I mean, yeah. Fred's character was with one important character. Yeah. Yeah. Oh my god. Yeah. Did you, did you watch each other's white Lotus seasons just organically or like after, did you continue to watch all season after you were on? And I'm sure you watched before. Yeah. I would do the research. Yeah. It was like. Yeah. The thing in it's yeah. COVID. It's so it was the thing in the thing after COVID. Yeah. Yeah. You know, I, we always talk about like, it's just Mike White's writing is so awesome. I'm always, I just always want to see like what he does next. And Connie, you've been a part of so many iconic TV shows like some of our favorites of all time. And I'm sure you know that. I mean, I did have it like just so many. So I feel like when you are signed on to a project, everybody gets excited because we know. That's nice. I absolutely feel that way. It's like we know that this is going to be fantastic. And Sam, I'm sure, you know, you probably grew up also watching Connie. Of course. Yeah. The only two shows I like ever have really from start to finish watched are Glee and Fred and I let's. Oh my God. I like. So the first season of American horror story, which is in my opinion, the best season ever. And also to have also. So good. Yeah. No, absolutely. And who who was signed on first? Did you know who was who was playing the mother who was playing the son? I got the offer. And then we were kind of auditioning different people to be the mom. No, I was like, I was like, okay, I told me you can kind of pick. And his first choice wasn't available. So, you know, so look at me. But yeah, Sam picks me now. So did you do like chemistry. Obviously, obviously, obviously. And then we did chemistry. Yeah. Yeah. I did a bunch of tapes and, and, you know, I had the classic thing of like the more you tape for something, like at the start, you're kind of like, this is awesome. But like, I probably won't get it. It's totally fine. And then you get a call back. And then it's like, I actually might get this. And in fact, if I don't get it, like I flew all the way out to LA and we did this chemistry. And I met Connie. And I was like, oh my God, she's the coolest person in the world. If I don't get to work with her, this is just going to suck. They're going to give it to some Luther. Right. You're going to hate me. And I'm going to hate whoever gets it. And you're going to hold it again. Yeah. Forever. Yeah. Yeah. There's small food. We don't. We're going to breathe a window on their household. They're asleep. But they're not saying anything about it. They'll never know. I love it. I feel like that's just so real though. You know, talking about the process of like, it's right there. And you want it so bad. Meanwhile, I know the other people who didn't get the parts. And they was acting just always, you know, in the cards for you kind of growing up with actor parents. And like, as you thought, I want to do this. Yeah. From what age do you think? Well, I mean, so I honestly kind of fell in love with like movies before I fell in love with acting where I movies and TV and plays and whatever just like media, but more from a point of view of kind of wanting to be a writer director. And then I got really lucky where my school, so no a bound back, the incredible filmmaker went to my high school in Brooklyn. And he did a big casting call for his movie. He made called White Noise. And he basically asked his old drama teacher who was still my drama teacher at the school to get everyone in her class audition. And I did like.
nine different auditions for him and got lucky enough to get the part and I was more coming from the point of view of like, I would just love to at least get called back enough times that I could be in a room with Noah Bambeck because he's such a directing idol of mine and then one thing like another and I got the part and I was like, oh, well, I guess I now have to like kind of lock in with the acting stuff and then and then kept getting parts and getting luckier and luckier and then I know that Noah Bambeck's story. Yeah, it was awesome. It was so so such good fortune and then yeah, and now I'm obsessed with acting and of course like have have have fallen in love with it separately from filmmaking. Yeah, do your parents try and give you any any tips or did it notes and you're like just little lately. They it's funny like I don't know how you feel about this. I feel like acting as something that's so hard to like it's easy to teach by example in that like of course when we were working together, I learned so much from you. I've learned so much from everyone I've worked with just from kind of watching, but it's really hard to like explain acting to someone, especially when it comes to like a specific character. I feel like it would be really hard to ask my parents like, how should I play this scene? Because they'd be like, well, I need a lot more context. You know, you're the one that's had all the conversations with the directors and you know what I mean? Like yeah, that's that would be a tough that would be a tough thing. Yeah. And that's interesting. If you think about like acting classes and acting school, it do. I mean, I'm sure now you are not working with like an acting teacher at all or I am or you still do. I still do. I actually kind of started doing that on phony because it was it was such a big part that it was so much more responsibility than I've been used to playing kind of supporting roles. And I really, the main thing is I knew the schedule was going to be really intense. And I was like, I'm not going to like normally when you are in a supporting role, you have three days off every week and you and you have, you know, 10 hours in your trailer every day waiting to do the scene and you can kind of do work on the scenes whenever and just be ready to go. And with this, it was like, you're doing like six scenes a day, you kind of have to do that work beforehand and prepare and have a notebook and know what you're doing. And so I worked with an amazing acting coach who I now have worked with on everything since then. And she's awesome. Like really a genius. That's awesome. That is so cool. Do you ever still, you know, work with any acting teachers? You're like, I got this now. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I will say like I did for a long time. Yeah. When I was, you know, starting out and coming up and auditioning for things and all that, for sure. Like it, it's, it's helpful. It's helpful to have instruction and guidance and. Yeah. Totally. Like really, truly. Like somebody else watching you who can give an objective opinion. Yeah. Yeah. Because you may feel like you're saying something a certain way until you get told you're not. Yeah. Oh, I didn't realize my tone was different there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, also like I, as I said, like because I did it as well, you know, now I have really a lot of years of experience. Yeah. But, you know, that I've learned what happened is my jobs and the people that I was working with became my mentors and my teachers and, you know, and so that's, that's where I, so I've never stopped continuing to learn and like get the insights of the people around me and, you know, be inspired by people that I'm working with. I'm like, Oh, my God. Look what they're doing. That's amazing. You know. Yeah. So that's, that's also, and you know, now that's probably, you'll probably do that more and more. Yeah. Yeah. Not to put you on the spot, Sam. But is there anything that you learned from Connie now that you can share? Yeah. I mean, I, I learned, yes. I learned so much. I learned, I mean, primarily, I think her ability to like be a kind and gracious person in the face of really long hours and like, really, you know, sets are chaotic, crazy places. Things are always going wrong, no matter how peachy keen the production is. And we, we had an amazing production, but of course stuff still goes wrong. And she was just so like zanned out the whole time. And I'm like a very hyper anxious person. And I was always kind of like, yeah. Yeah. It's okay. Like you just have to be ready to do your thing and then do it when the time comes. And also just the thing of like playing these two things at once and being able to like, you know, there was always a kind of thing about about whether or not Connie. And I don't want to put words in your mouth out like whether or not she was going to kind of ham it up as the, as the second mom, uh, to sort of make it creepier or not. And she made the courageous choice of just playing this sincerity of the moment in every moment. And, and always being true to who the character is and not trying to change anything for the sake of whatever plot developments might be occurring. And that is like really balsy and really paid off. And it's great lesson. And speaking of, you know, second mom, as the viewer, you do see sort of like these subtle changes. And you're like, what is that? Yeah. Did they tweak her eye there? What's going on there? Was that something that you did actually did her was that after where your face was kind of tweaked a little bit? Well, like it's kind of, it was kind of a combination. Like we went through a lot of different machinations to achieve that. But yes, it was like, it was, you know, it was all a combination of like makeup. And like, we played around with prosthetics and, and then, you know, ultimately, like, they also like, bury like artfully sort of added in VFX, like literally frame by frame by frame, because it had to be so subtle. So we were really trying to figure like, how do we do this? So that it's really, really subtle. And you can't, it kind of feels like you haven't quite seen that before. Yeah. Right. And it's done such in such a great way that as the audience, you can see it, but it's not enough where it doesn't make sense that the rest of the actor or, you know, rest of the characters wouldn't be like, well, that's obviously not her. Yeah. Because it's just enough. And it's like right as sunny sort of wakes up and your face is right in his face. And I was like, oh, that is not her. Oh my god. It's creepy. It's so creepy. Yeah. It's creepy. So it just, where did you guys film the show Vancouver? Okay. Okay. Okay. So many things are shot in there. Everything is beautiful. Oh, everything. And it's very beautiful. It's beautiful. It's, yeah. It's beautiful. They've got good, whatever. Of course, they have good tax credits and stuff, which is, yeah. That's, that's, but it's also gorgeous. Yeah. Because it seems like that you can really get anything out of it. You can get like beautiful days, but you can go spooky because this kind of is like moody, like, like, right, right. Right, right. Because you're supposed to be, where are you supposed to be? Or organic. And I feel like this is coming out at the perfect time, right? Like October spooky. Yeah. You love just getting cold. Exactly. Exactly. Connie, do you have like a blueprint or even some sort of idea in your mind when a project comes to you that you're like, I need these, it needs to hit these points for me to consider it. That's a great question. And I kind of do, I mean, it's not like I have a list. Yes. For me, it's really, I always want to feel like, oh, this feels like something I haven't done before. Or I haven't seen before, preferably both of those things. And also, I, I would like to feel personally like, this makes, this pushes me a little outside my comfort zone. Like, I, I, you know, as an actor, I think for all, as creative people, like, you always want to feel a little bit like you're just kind of not, you're taking a little bit of a risk. You're, you're stepping over a line and exploring something that is new. And so for me, that is always kind of a prerequisite. And, and of course, great writing. Yeah. You know, I mean, if you get a great script, there are a lot of terrible scripts out there. I was going to ask that many great ones. And so every time I get a great one, it's like, I can't believe I'm so lucky. This is such a great opportunity. Yeah. And lucky to be able to say no, right? To so many scripts as well. Yeah. Like you have, like I mentioned, just so many iconic roles. Yeah. And really just so established that you can really pick and choose, like, this is what I want to do. And the hardest thing is, well, because now that I'm a mom, I have to say, you know, things aren't shooting and I like these too. And so it's like, I sometimes just have to say no to things. Like, I can't, for instance, white Lotus where it's like, I can't go to a foreign country for six months. Like, I just, I was able to do it the first season because it was COVID, and my son came with it. Yeah. So that's always a bummer. But, but yeah, being able to say no, somebody told me a long time ago, they're like the one power that we have as actors is being able to say no. Yeah. I think it's kind of interesting. Just once you say yes, you relinquish. Yeah. A lot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What initially drew you to like the Friday night lights? You know, what would
was what sold you on that show? - Well, I mean, I had such a long journey with that show because I did the movie. And so, and I really enjoy doing the movie. I had such a great relationship with Peter Berg who, you know, directed it and wrote it actually. He wrote it based on Buzz Bissinger's book. He wrote the movie based on Buzz Bissinger's book, Buzz Bissinger, his cousin, on the way. (laughing) - I didn't know it was so Buzz. Buzz Bissinger spent, like, you know, a year in Odessa, Texas. Like, basically, just he wanted to write a book about Texas football and the phenomenon of that. Anyway, and actually several really like amazing filmmakers tried to make the movie and just, they had a really difficult time with it. And Pete just figured it out and kind of figured it out as we went. Anyway, so that was, I had a great experience with that. But then, like, two years later, they decided to do the TV show. And I was kind of like, and they were like, yeah, you gotta come back and play the wife. And I'm like, the wife does not do one thing. (laughing) It's a show about football. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - It's a show about, like, I'm playing the coach's wife. That is, like, so awful. (laughing) What is that? - And so, it was really, I really, honestly, it was Pete Berg talking me into it because, on paper, even the pilot, my character was written in there that much. And, you know, I even had the experience of doing the movie and like, really not having anything to do. And so, I don't know. I just took a big, it was, that was one that was like, I'm just taking a big flying leap and I'm probably gonna land. It's gonna be so upsetting. - And that's not the case because she is such a big heart of the show. - Yeah, I know. - But, you know, I really give a lot of, I give Pete Berg a lot of credit for that. I give Jason Cadems who came on as our showrunner, a lot of credit. Kyle Chandler, who immediately from day one was like, we were so clear about what we wanted that partnership to be. So, I just felt like I had such great, supportive collaborators and everybody really wanted to, not only make that character great, but bring the women of that town and that community to life as well, which Pete couldn't really do in the movie. So, I give them a lot of credit. - I feel like it's not often you see somebody go from playing the movie to the TV show. But it's usually different. - I know. - Which is really incredible. And does it still shock you to this day? How many people are now watching for the first time? - It's so awesome. It's really, really amazing. And it's funny because I feel like every sort of decade or something, it's also like been two decades. But it just feels like there are different sort of incarnations of like the age group of people who are finding it. And that's the one thing about streaming that I think is so great, is that-- - Rediscovery. - Rediscovery of these shows that have been around for a long time, that kind of really allows them to be sort of evergreen in a way. - And I think people get so excited to share it with their kid, like when they're like, they know they're like, oh, when my kids get to the age where I can watch this with them, it'll be so great. - Exactly, I feel the same for the White Lotus, especially now that we're a couple seasons in, it's gonna be a show that everyone can go back. Every year, there's gonna be new fans. And with this past season, did you feel like, oh my gosh, there is now more pressure because every year, more fans have become obsessed with the show. And it's like a weekly view of it. - Yes, I mean, there was so much pressure. Like that, it was so scary. It was offset by the fact that it was the most magical place in the world with the most incredible people. Like they were the best company and the best creative collaborators. And it was just like so fun every day. But everyone, I mean, it was incredible. Even like the really seasoned actors that in that show that I look up to so much, we were all kind of shitting our pants, you know what I mean? Like we were all really nervous, 'cause you know, it's a weird thing where you know, you know everyone's gonna watch it. But you also know that there's, that no one's seen you before. You know what I mean? So it's not like doing a second season of a show you've already been in and everyone loves you and they love your character. It's like they love what the show is. So you need to find a way to kind of fit into a thing that already exists, you know. But at the end of the day, Mike's writing is so damn good that it's kind of impossible to give a bad performance. - I mean, you're incredible. And it was such a interesting and funny story line, I feel like. - That's what I was wondering about it. - But so fun to watch and you were so good. - No, thank you. I really appreciate that. - When you're on those ensemble shows like that, do you also wait to see who else is gonna join you in the cast? Like when we, we're all waiting with being a breath. Like who's gonna be on the next season? When you get cast or you're like, I can't wait to see who else is gonna be on the season or do you have somewhat of an idea? - What was your experience with it? - Well, I mean, for, or even like maybe your own internet unit, you know what your family numbers are. - Well, for, I mean, for White Lotus, for the first season, it was COVID. So, you know, and so I was really talking to Mike directly and he came to me early on and, you know, and like, I knew that he had written that part for Jennifer. And other than that, it was pretty wide open. And so he was very flexible about like, okay, like what should we do with your character and all this kind of stuff? And then gradually he started, you know, bringing people on and he's like, well, what, yeah, what do you think about Steve's on? You know, like, you know what I mean? And it was just like, yeah. It was so fun to watch it all come together. - He's so good. Steve was just here and the way that he talks about how much fun you guys have. - Oh my god, he's the coolest. - He's the best. - He's so funny. - Yes, we were laughing a lot with him. - He was just sitting in that chair that you're like this. - No, we're near the mic. He's just like talking like this. I'm like, you're amazing. - So, so great. - Oh my god. - It was very funny. Like, did you know who was playing your brunt? Like, did you know those roles, Sam, or? - I did. I did. I mean, it's also just like stuff always gets around. Like, agents talk so much and you can always kind of tell like who the last few people are and then, but yeah, I knew about the people in my family and then I didn't get the scripts until like the day before I flew to Thailand. So, I didn't know what the storylines were for anyone else. I didn't know who any of the other characters were a little alone who was playing them. But I did know who was in my family and we all kind of got in touch with each other right after we heard and had a big zoom where we all screamed and-- - Yeah, that was awesome. - That was awesome. It was so good. - We are so much fun. - Yeah, we are so excited to see the rest of Phoney. - Thank you. - Love this pairing so much. You guys also gave us like, we got the screeners and we got the first four and I was like, (gasps) - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - And then it's like, oh, and then when it goes week to week, I'm like, "Hom, no, I really got away." - Exactly. - But you guys are just so incredibly talented and amazing. - Thank you. - So seriously, congratulations on the new show. We're so excited to see the rest of it. - And everybody can stream on Hulu. I can't wait. - Thank you guys so much. - Thank you so, so much. - I appreciate it. Cheers. - All right, that wraps up today's episode of "Chick's in the Office." Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys so much.
