DWTS Week 4 Deep Dive: SHOCKING Elimination + Mika Abdalla & Josh Heuston Go Official in Paris

The podcast episode blends personal travel reflections with lively discussions on pop culture, centered around the recent season of *Dancing with the Stars*. The hosts express deep emotion over the elimination of Sierra and Brandon, calling it unjust and disappointing, while defending Guillermo’s entertaining but technically inconsistent performances. They highlight moments of genuine connection and humor, especially in performances by Connor and Riley, which resonate with listeners due to relatability and vulnerability. A humorous narrative about bear safety in Big Sky Montana adds lightheartedness, while the hosts also share their excitement about upcoming events, like the Super Bowl halftime show and a new *Dancing with the Stars* tour to Madison Square Garden. The episode also promotes several brands, including TickPick (offering zero fees on tickets), Neutralful (a dermatologist-recommended hair growth supplement), and Planet Fitness (a judgment-free gym with flexible pricing). Additionally, the hosts discuss a new show starring Kylie Jenner in a thriller where her character dies in the first episode, sparking intrigue and fan speculation. Throughout, the tone remains upbeat and community-driven, emphasizing friendship, personal growth, and the joy of shared experiences in both real life and entertainment.

It's chicks in the office with Brian Friend giving you that Friday energy on a Wednesday. Happy Wednesday, everybody. We are reporting to you live from Big Sky Montana, but don't worry. We have all of our dancing with the stars takes we watched it last night and we are ready to discuss. But before we get into that, how is everybody feeling? Noah, you got yourself a mic? Whoa. Brand new Mike just so I could talk about my guy, Guillermo. Just so you could defend Guillermo. Yeah. Just so everyone could hear those takes loud and clear loud and clear. Maybe this will cancel out the ambulance noises that always go by my building. I think it'll help a lot. Yeah, I don't hear any noises right now. And you guys have brand new laptops too. So if you're watching on YouTube, they look crystal clear. We are very clear. Yeah, which is like, I don't need to look crystal clear. Whenever I'm recording from home, it's like, I actually prefer to not look crystal clear. No, you look gorgeous. How are we feeling this morning? Good. We're in a beautiful location where like you said, Big Sky Montana is absolutely stunning. The sun is rising as we speak. The sun is coming up from behind the mountaintops. Maybe a deer will frolic past my window here. It's just really stunning. We're in a stunning place with a lot of fun people and everybody's just looking at it. You know what everybody just dresses right? Everybody just looks good. Everybody is crushing it. We're having a lot of fun, a lot of laughs. We had a great dinner last night. Yes, we did. And it's just good vibes. We're going horseback riding in a couple hours. So I am like, I'm flying high. Like get me on that horse. I'm so excited. Yeah, I can't wait. We did have such a good time last night. Everybody's so amazing and so fun and funny. Just a really cool group of girls. I have to say, like we've just been having a great time. It's been fun to be back with Bree. We have been hung out with Bree in so long, which was funny last night. Fran goes, yeah, we lost you for a bit there. She's like, yeah, but we've had such a good time. Yeah, we're looking out at this beautiful landscape. Last night after dinner, there's these side cars that will drive you to and from locations on the resort. But we were close to the restaurant that we were eating out, which is at the resort. And Fran and I were like, all right, we're just going to, we're just going to walk back because we're so close. Like it's okay. You guys hop in the car. We're going to walk. And the guy driving the car, looked at Fran and I said, I wouldn't do that. We said, what? That hesitation. We did not sound good. He was like, you know, there's, there's bears. Oh, get us in a car, then. It was like, I thought we were close enough where like, okay, there's bears. Like, you'll be okay. You know, and then I was laughing because all the other girls were joking about. They're being a bear lock on the back door of our rooms because we're kind of in these really cool like individual cabins. And there's a back door. And they were like, if you don't lock it, it is possible for the bears to open the door. Like they know how they can move the handle and basically open the door. And I was thinking there was some sort of like special bear lock because the way that the girls were talking about it made it sound like there was a particular lock. And then it was funny because one of the employees was knocking on our doors to be like, you know, because when the girls were in the car, they were like, oh my god, the bear lock. Like, we need to make sure it's on. And so he was coming into our rooms and just quote unquote turning on the bear lock. And I was like, yeah, come on in. That'd be great. He just comes in. He just locks the door. I was like, oh, I could have done that. That's really nice at all. But why did the guy not come lock my door? And he went to everybody's, he went to everybody's cabin and he skipped me. They asked. No, he went to mine by accident. Like he thought I like two of the girls asked. And I'm in between them. Like I'm in between Zara and Bri. Yeah. And when he knocked to my door, he was like, you were asking about the bear lock. I was like, I wasn't, but you're here. So if you want to come, want to come double check, I'll take it. Yeah, that's fair. Suddenly, I'm feeling like they don't care if a bear comes against me. Yeah. And I said from a safe distance, boy, what I love to see a bear, but I wouldn't want it. You know, I get it walking on the, you know, walking by ourselves at night. Right. Not the time. I would one happen to be like right outside right now. I would love that. Me too. Like if a little baby one hopped up on my deck right now, that would be awesome. It would be great for the show. If I turn the ladder top around, there's a bear. You don't want the baby ones anywhere near you. The mom's going to go. Oh, right. Because the mom gets close by. Yes. They did say that. If there's a baby one, well, there was a baby one on someone's deck four nights ago. I mean, we weren't here, but that's what they said. So, you know, you just never know. You never know what could happen in big Sky Montana. But we are going horseback riding today. It'll be my first time riding a horse and I have my jeans. And I'm feeling really when I said the other day that I didn't know people rode horses riding jeans because I think now thinking about it, the only thing I've seen is people ride horses with jeans beside if they're in a horseback riding competition. They're in those black riding pants. But exclusively Bella Hadid is always wearing jeans when she rides a horse. And that's my you know, you're like, I have my reference here. Yeah. My reference point is Bella Hadid Kendall Jenner on horses and like Mattie McConaughey, like they're always in jeans. So that was a really dumb comment by me. And even if you just think about like cowboys, you know, they're they're walking around in jeans and they got and most of the fashion choice, not like a practical thing. I just wasn't thinking in the moment about anything. And most famously, they got the big belt buckles. Where's the belt going into their jeans? Obviously. So yeah, I got my boot cut jeans and my red cowboy boots and I'm ready to ride. And everyone keeps telling me that I have to go in fearless and really good energy because the horse will sense it. So you don't need to be you don't need to be fearless. You just need to be like first fearless. That's me getting on the horse. You don't think I'm going to be respectful to the horse. No, of course I do. That's what I'm saying. I'm saying it's not that deep. Like it's not like you have to be like, I'm not afraid of you. No, I meant it more like, yes. I'm ready to ride. You go with good vibes. They feel good vibes. Yeah. I mean, I have great vibes right now. I mean, my bow pajamas, you know, like I'm feeling really settled. I just have my coffee. So I'm ready to ride. And I'm ready for you to make fun of me because inevitably you are going to be in your element because you are horse girly. Yeah, you grew up horse girl. I did. You grew up horse girl, a piano girl. You're you're really well-rounded. You would have thought I was homeschooled. You know, I got to be honest. Did a lot of things that like, did it need other people around? Yeah, I'm really happy we met later in life because yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think you would have fucked with me. And I don't think you would have fucked with me. No, I would have thought you were very cool. I would have just been intimidated by you. Really? Yeah. I don't think that. I was very nervous. I was very nervous around like, cool girls for a long time in my life. I God, you think I'm cool? Yeah, I do. Oh, I think you're cool. So thanks. I would have been intimidated by the fact that you're so well-rounded and I'm not. Let's just go back before the compliment each other. That's why I learned we were we were joking last night because there's another podcast duo here Danielle and Brooke and they are sharing a room. Yes. By choice. By choice. They are sharing a room by choice. I said, well, if only my co-host wanted to share a room with me. Yeah, we're finishing up. Jenner is like, you want to come snuggle? No, like I we have our own rooms. It's not that it never happens and it could on this trip. I was just like, I love coming back and just having having my own space to do. No, I feel you. It is really nice. to have your own space as you can press especially here it's gorgeous you got to make use of the room. I just thought that was like really nice friendship and co-host vibes for them to like want to share a room and that's like they don't travel together as much as we do right and they did say that they're like you guys are together way more than we are which is true I can't remember the last day we were apart at this point like if there if there was more rare that we were traveling together we were like oh my god this is so fun like girl strip I'm down you're like I see you like not I'm with you every day and then and you've been traveling together a lot we did share room and Vegas yeah so I mean greedy no I this is I'm really I do like having my own space as well um you got those you got those legs with you I did say to her I dinner at dinner last night I said I will not be your legs and then she said and it you know it just felt rude she goes if the bear wants to come cuddle I said oh so you'll let a big grisly bear come cuddle with you but not me uh rude I'm a great cuddler but a friend and I have cuddled in the past it's it's not I'm acting like it never happens sometimes she tickles my head and my arm and we watch you know off campus or the summer I turn pretty so I'm just being greedy and I'm there if you need me like if you're like hey I don't feel so good like can you think you could come over rub my head I'm there yeah yeah it how far are your rooms very very close so close we are so close and the thing is I don't mind sleeping alone at all like I could do both that's what it's all I just like the camaraderie yeah yeah yeah I got my pants on I had to sleep with my pants last day it was proof I put I put on my shorts pyjamaset and I was laying in bed and I was like I shut off my air and I was like it's absolutely stunning during the day it does like by the afternoon it's been getting quite warm I'll be honest my like franny's weather report from Montana is stunning we're here for for great weather where we're getting like like yesterday it was almost too dare I say too hot like in the sun it was in the 70s and everyone was like oh I brought cute fall clothes like but right now it's 46 degrees so it drops but by the time we get back to like be hanging out at the hotel it's going to be 65 in sunny like just god damn gorgeous we got three days of all sun not a cloud in the f*cking sky and then when we leave it's going to snow like it's going to snow here this weekend so we just we snuck right in at the right time you're so right it really has been perfect I will say feeling that cold air drop at night has been so yes it is so nice because we haven't felt cold air in months it is cold here I will say like it's just it's like like this morning it's like some lady in the elevator was like because I wore a t-shirt to go get a coffee she's like you wore that to walk to the I'm like it's like 50 degree like it's not that cold that's well that's sweatshirt weather though yeah it feels sweater weather sweater weather it feels crisp it just feels so nice though like we were in summer for so long I'm like I need air I got to air out my pits yeah I got to air out my privates I got to air out every part of me it's like I'm going to sweaty just why I seriously sweat sweaty all the time I mean you know you're getting a back-to-back 10 for 10 New York Metro weather was a 10 for 10 to give it 10 for 10 yesterday yeah I mean it was great but like 10 out of 10 today as well I want like this guy he his 10 he's got a lot of tends to give out not really not really I feel but I feel like like yesterday wasn't like a 10 day in my eyes like it was not in your eyes but in his eyes it was but like what if it was five degrees so warmer colder is that that would that would adjust why don't you use your own account and you can create the weather I should come with him you and Fran should have competing weather I can honestly that would be just funny to see the jack's position of like what we think a good day yeah could we do that for like a week you guys just both rate the weather on your own separate private accounts so funny so you can't see each other's account all monitor yeah and then we'll come together at the end of the week and go through each day how riveting that's that's some good stuff right there yeah really all right let's get into the rest of today's episode we're going to be talking about dancing with the talk about dancing with the stars last night I mean what a bummer I know we're gonna go through yeah the couples and the dances but I mean we got to start off with the elimination because I'm so bummed I'm so upset for Sierra and Brandon just not deserved at all I was shocked absolutely shocked by this elimination I really was too and we heard it before like we I wanted the spoiler we had we were at dinner I wanted to see it was sent home when I heard that I gasped I couldn't believe that was them and then when we went and watched they went first and just a great dance I feel like the improvement is there by like definitely her best dance she was getting great feedback from the judges she just seemed to be so happy with the dance which always sucks like when you know who gets sent home and then you watch like how happy they are after their dance and you know what's coming I'm like oh that just really was so upset here we are in the vortex like we are here we're in the thunder dome everybody buckle up like this is this is we're back to let where we were last season same kind of situation the people fucking love Guillermo every week they're putting Guillermo in the quote unquote bottom three I I bet you he is nowhere near the bottom three and votes if I to guess he's like getting the most votes out of everybody but just because you know they're building up the suspense and they want it to be like who is Guillermo beating out like they want people to look and be like oh my god there's Guillermo we got fours and he's going to say and other people are like just the the drama of that is obviously going to put Guillermo in that position but seeing seeing this was I I was very upset I felt like her journey was cut short but we are in it it's gonna be very tricky now because people love Guillermo and I will say like I I I'm certainly not getting as worked up let me say that the tide turned because everyone was mad at me when I posted that about for gamer like like up until this week everyone was like oh yeah we love Guillermo this week it was like stop you're ruining this show it was all the Andy like feedback well we've reached a certain point where it feels unfair like I don't see Eric going home feels unfair and that's the point that we've reached but Guillermo's dance is bring a lot of people a lot of joy so yeah so I absolutely do not think Sierra should go home she I feel like last night she like really stepped into herself as a dancer and had so much fun and it was her best dance yet. Totally. And I've been loving watching her and Brennan's experience on the show together. So I'm so bummed. I just think she was not even close in my head to going home. Like it just a complete shock. Now when it comes to Guillermo, his dance was so funny. And that's the problem, right? Like this is the problem we're running into is that his dance was really funny. And now objectively terrible, but funny. So bad. He was really not good. And last week I thought he had improved from the week's prior. This week, I can't say the same. I don't think that his dancing did improve this week. I thought it was maybe a step back from from last weeks, or even the week before. But it was very funny. And absolutely, if you're going to go just based off dancing, Guillermo definitely should have gone home over Sierra. Do I think Guillermo should go home in general? I'm not fighting that fight. I don't know, but I don't know who I would put in front of him to go home. That's also the problem. You know, like because then you just have to name somebody else. But everybody is trying. And also everyone, I'm like, go sports. Literally, everybody's trying. And everybody is objectively better than Guillermo. That's the thing. Exactly. Right. We're just going dancing. Yeah, we're just at the point now where if you're just looking at skill level here, everybody is improving. And like you said, the improvement was not really there last weeks. The score showed that too. Well, he got three fives last week, I thought, right? He definitely scored better last week. Yeah, he definitely didn't get fours. Guillermo got a 15 week three. So I think he got, I think he got three fives. Yeah, throw the yacht rock. I think it was, yeah, I see 15 out of 30, which I'm pretty sure it was three fives. So it is technically regressing, right? Like his scores went down. And yeah, it's so tough. Like this is the situation we're in. I firmly believe as just a fan of this show for my whole life, it feels like that the judges save is the right way to do this show. It would be the most fair. However, people don't give a shit if it's fair or not. So that's the dilemma. And I don't even really think like dancing with the stars cares of it's fair or not because this discourse is what everybody loves because it gets people talking about the show so much more. Like if every week it was like, yeah, you know, the right person went home. Like it's just not there's not con. There's no controversy. There's no like nobody's Monday morning quarterbacking dancing with the stars to say like, that was wrong. It shouldn't have been that person because normally the judge, the judges would save the the better dancer and the whoever got the worst scores would be the one going home. And you'd be like, yeah, that makes sense. And you sort of have a pretty fair competition show. This is entertainment. And what they always say and what we dealt with last season two is like, make sure you're voting for your favorites. They say it a million times. Vote for your favorite. And Guillermo is a lot of people's favorite right now. I just they just love what he's doing. He is a he's just he's incredibly entertaining. Yeah, like like sue me, but I enjoy watching Guillermo dance once here. Like and that's just my opinion. Yeah, I mean, listen here entitled to your opinion. Everyone's entitled to enjoy something a certain way. Yeah, although I would like to be on the record that I disagree with that. Yeah, yeah, it's and it's not just here. It's it's everyone. Right. So I but here's the thing. I think it's funny and entertaining up to a point. And I I did think Guillermo's dance was very funny last night. Did I watch it like four times? Yeah, I did. I really got enjoyment out of watching the dance. But I would never say that he should be there over Sierra at this point. Like I feel so bummed for Sierra. And I really feel like she I feel like if you were to ask them both Sierra wants to be there more than Guillermo does. I I really feel that 1000 really. Yeah, yes, I do feel that way. I mean, I think Guillermo wants to win though. No, no, I think Guillermo wants to be there, but I think Sierra, if you were to really get them in a room alone. Yeah, I think Sierra wants to be there more than Guillermo. I think yeah, I agree. I think Guillermo's having a great time and he's having a lot of fun. And I think Whitney's having a lot of fun. And they're both enjoying this experience together. I don't think Guillermo would take being sent home harder than Sierra. For sure. You know, for him, it's like, it's like, you know, I had a good, I had a great run. He's playing with house money. Yeah, he definitely is. He definitely is. I'm just, I got, I'm just sad for see. I'm sad for Brandon. I just felt like and he said at two at the end of the show, he was like, I'm just bombed because it really felt like Sierra was improving week to week. And it was there. And they were getting getting into a good rhythm and everything. So it's just that's it is like he said, it's just a major bummer. And yeah, it really is hard to argue with and not being a bummer. It is. And but on the other side of that, it's hard to, I understand like it's hard to argue argue with the fact that like Whitney being pregnant and Guillermo, like it's a fun pairing. And they're making a lot of jokes. And when he's saying battle of the bellies, like it's all very fun. And yeah, entertaining. Honestly, Guillermo's side, it is very impressive that Whitney is dancing like that. It it very, very much so she is it. I mean, it's incredible. Look, at the end of the day, there's like, there's like, I don't know, multiple of the other guys that are on this show that I would have said could have gone home before Sierra, like just just of the male stars. Yeah, I would have been like, yeah, you know, that's like I would have just put Sierra higher on the list. And it's not like borderline one or it's I would have said above a few people. So we don't got to sit here and name them, but absolutely no. Yeah. So I think we should go through the dances. Sierra was, Sierra to go first. So we can have and they opened it up. Great. Like I thought it was so fun. It was such a hot start. They got a score of 21 to they had all sevens. Yeah, Ezra and Daniela. Oh my god. It Ezra looks so handsome with his hair like that. I mean, the whole fit was fantastic. I'm forgetting what exactly the name of that move is that that Derek was like like saying he was doing so well on in the in the Rumba. But Matt, my god, Daniela, the hip action on that guy, like really incredible. What a beautiful dance. I thought he was maybe even deserving of a higher score, to be honest. Like, because here's the thing, like after you finish the whole episode and you see where other people score, you're like, oh, I almost would have put that dance even even higher. Um, but because that dance is just. Yeah, so his kooka roaches. I wanted to say, like kooka mongo. They were beautiful. So and that like a Rumba so deceivingly hard. There's there was a lot of Rumba's last night. And it was really a great dance. I really love watching him dance. It's like just mesmerizing. Mm-hmm. So good. There's just nothing else to say besides. No, they're just fantastic. And they're going to be like, they're going all the way there. They're my, they're my, they're my front runners right now. Like sure. Yeah. Next up, we had Harry Schum, Jr. And Jenna Johnson. Some lovely listeners told me that I have been saying it wrong. So my apologies. And I should know that because I'm watching the show and I hear them say his name. And I still have been saying it wrong, which is very root of me. So I apologize. I feel like when Kylie Kelsey apologized for calling Kate Middleton Princess Kate Princess Catherine. Yeah. That's me with Harry Schum. So Harry Schum and Jenna did tango too. It's like that. They got a score of 24. And then they did have Amber Riley from Glee come in and sick. Yes. So they really boosted it here. Wait, I had a question for you guys with Mariah Carey. People were talking about this. Didn't clear any of her songs. Like for Mariah Carey night. I mean, in terms of like the original recordings is what people were saying. Like they had to do covers. No, but that's how they always do it. Like really? Because didn't they play the real Rihanna song? And they were like, wow, Rihanna clear to song for Guillermo. Yeah, but it's different when it's like all the whole night. The whole night is you know, it's like we don't have Rihanna night and Rihanna like only clear the song for Guillermo. Like it's yeah, it's I don't think just the way this shows gone most the time. It is not the original recording. Like normally it's the house band. Yeah. I just assumed that like Mariah Carey night. We would have heard her singing, but I guess I guess it's not like a live thing. Yeah, I don't actually that like didn't that thought didn't cross my mind. That's how loud. Tweet's about that, but I think you're on the side of Dancing with the stars that like really pick apart the. Yeah, I think her not like giving like a shit. It seemed like in the package and stuff. I just know was like definitely on new fan Dancing with the Stars Twitter. You know, the key's not on the Twitter where people have been watching for years and they're like, yeah, they never have the real song playing. It genuinely would have never even crossed my mind whether it's the real song or the house band. Like I never even notice like I'm just I except when they have a famous singer come in and sing. Yeah. But otherwise I'm just like, yeah, this is the way this goes. Yeah. And by the way, they all have to clear like they clear the songs. Obviously, the songs are cleared to like perform, but like I'm saying like to play the actual song, but rarely is does that happen. Like rarely does the actual song get played. Okay, I've exposed myself as a new fan. You've been exposed, honey. Yeah. Cause you think like they have this great male singer who was I was basically on his name, but he was just on America's Got Talent and and the other night like Mark's wife saying a song for them because they they at the last minute like needed somebody to step in to sing the song for them. Yeah, I might be crazy, but when I first heard where I carried night, I have thought that she might be there like performing all the songs. That's insane. I can't say I that thought never crossed my mind. I would never think Mariah Carey would show up to be a little concert. Yeah. They've done a lot of dedication nights of performers. They're not in the ballroom. Do you think Mariah Carey even watched last night? No. No. Yeah. People were talking like she like didn't even know what this was like for. She was just. Yeah. So moving on, we had Jenna and Val, Jenna Dewan Val, Rumba to my all score 24. This was Jenna's best dance by far. By far, I think she really listened to Carey and his feedback and and reined it in a little bit in a way that fit the style of the dance and was just smooth and flowing and gorgeous and she's a gorgeous dancer. We knew that already. And this felt like technically she hit it all very, very well. Seeing that, seeing that Carrienne gave, and I'm jumping ahead a little bit, but I'm just talking score wise, but seeing that Carrienne gave more a nine for her waltz and their waltz was gorgeous. But in my mind, like Jenna's Rumba also fucking stunning. Like if you're going to give the waltz and I think they're both nines, if we're giving out nines at this stage, that felt like a very, a very beautiful performance as well. Val caused a big stir this week. I know. What was he thinking? I'm not sure what he was thinking and then he's kind of like joking about it, which doesn't come across great either. I really don't like the way that he's handling this at all and now he's like, yeah, when the season's over, I'm getting the braids put back in and I'm just like, what are you doing? Yeah, I'm not, I really am unsure either because it's like, I don't know why you wouldn't listen to how like the, the black viewers of dance where the stars are feeling about that. It's like, well, no, let me listen to the people who are telling me it's not a big deal and not like the other way. But I guess I don't know if it's, he just feels like he's done it in the, he's like, what I, did you see the tick-tock of him walking in to like after he took them out and he was just. He took them out and he just like, he was like filming himself walking in and he was like going like this, like just like showing his hair that they were out and he like winks at the camera. He does it. He does it. Yeah. It was really. Yeah. It was, it was bizarre. It was bizarre. It was bizarre. You know, you do something like that and then you are told, like, hey, this is not cool. Yeah. And you learn and you go, oh, no, like I'm not doing that. Okay. It was like gone the complete opposite and it's like, I'm still going to do it. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what. Yeah. He said as soon as he gets off the show, he's, he's putting them back in. Yeah. That's crazy. It's just a, a, a bizarre, a weird, weird. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, yeah, and that, that was talked about with him all a week and then Jackson also kind of stepped in it because he had a sassy comment about Guillermo, but we can talk about that when we get to Jackson's dance, who was after, but Jenna was great. And I think that was her, her best dance, Tyler and Sharna, Foxtrot, a beautiful score 21. Let me tell you something. Re and I watched that. We're watching inner own rooms, right? And like, ah, we were at different points. I'm texting and I texted, I texted for you and he said, am I good? I'm literally crying at Tyler's dance. And I know it's because like, we're very close to Tyler. We're really rooting for him and he is just trying so hard and like, really getting better. And I see that and I saw, you saw him kind of beating himself up for the timing issue last week and going into this dance and him bringing the rose over to Tay and Tay crying and then kissing and I was just like, this is so beautiful. This thing with the songs, beautiful, I was like, this is so beautiful, I'm so happy for him. Fran texts me, she's like, am I good? Like, I'm crying. I said, Fran, I am also crying at the same exact time as you about Tyler's dance. What is happening? I just feel really proud of him because he is genuinely working so hard. He is taking it so seriously and him and Sharna, like, I just feel so passionate. And he's genuinely about them really working hard at this and wanting this so bad. And he is so appreciative of the people who are there voting for him each week. Totally. Like, really deeply, like, it's not surface let, like, he really deeply feels this way and Tay as well. And it just was, it was beautiful, like the song said. And I know that Tyler talked about this publicly, actually, on Nick Valle's podcast. He really wants to make it to dedication night. And we got to get him there, we got, we got to get him there. One more week. One more week now. Yeah. Next week is the Super Bowl. Super Bowl shows. Yeah. But we got to get Tyler to dedication week and he just crushed it. I think that this was also his best dance yet. And you could tell in the moment in the dance when he relaxes and finds that confidence and starts smiling at Sharna, like, yeah, he's like, I'm in it now. And the ending was so cute giving the rose a tea, especially after that bullshit last week when they shot Hannah Brown. That was bullshit. So this was for Tay. She got her moment. She deserves it. And then I also felt like, you know, he mentioned, you know, he mentioned his mom and that's, it was when she passed, it was very sudden and unexpected from a brain aneurysm and Derek had a moment relating to that his wife experienced a very scary brain injury as well. And was able to recover from that, which has been so incredible to see. And so he was getting tearied because I don't think Derek, like he said, he didn't realize that that is what had happened. So it's just the emotions were all there. You mentioned, you know, next week is Super Bowl halftime show. I hope we're bringing the energy up a little bit. I just think that these last couple of weeks, and we've gotten the slower dances, like, we got a lot of Fox trots for Yacht Rock, a lot of Rumbas for Mariah Carey night. They're beautiful dances, but, but just for the entertainment value as a whole, it's like, we got to bring it up a little bit. I will say I haven't been the biggest fan of some of these theme nights. I just think that like they haven't done ballroom justice in the way, like in the best way, where you, where you get a good variety of different styles of dance and all these different things. I think the halftime show is going to be a great one because we can get obviously a ton of popular songs. It's the biggest artists in the world have done halftime shows. So that'll be really cool. But yes, like you said, I think Tyler, he just keeps getting better, which I'm so happy for him. Yeah, me too. I will say like maybe Guillermo Whitney will do pregnant Rihanna at the Super Bowl. Yeah. Yes. You know, I'm just like, I'm kind of just incredible. That's incredible. It writes itself. Yeah. It does. Anyways, moving on. Moira and Mark Waltz II, if it's over, score 25. Yeah. First nine of the season. Here's a thing. Moira is crushing it. We're such big fans of Moira. She's doing such a good job. If I'm Moira, I'm hyped. The front runner of the season, I'm getting my first nine. If I'm anybody else, I'm like, oh, Moira is such a suck up. Like, oh, I mean, she's not even sucking up to anybody at all. At all. She's just doing her job. But I would just be like, oh, of course, she got the first nine. Everybody comes. She deserves it. But I think other, like you said, like, yeah, everybody has probably deserved a nine as well. And if we're giving out nine, if we're giving out nine, if we're giving out nine, that's right. The way that those earlier dance is when I was like, we're just stunning. Like, I'm expecting three eighths here because I have we crossed the nine threshold yet. I don't know, but her waltz was gorgeous. It really was gorgeous. - Yeah, it was gorgeous. And absolutely deserve the nine there if we're giving them out as well. I just think you're right. I think a couple people did as well, but she is so good. And I love her in Mark as a pairing. And you could tell Mark is just so proud of her. And she's so proud of herself and she gets so nervous before every dance. And she's crushing it. Like it's so gorgeous. She's a gorgeous dancer. And I know we say it every week, but it really is just so impressive that she really did not have a dance background. Like was not dancing as a kid. Like it was not like part of her life at all. And to turn into this gorgeous dancer is really quite impressive. And gives a lot of a lot of, let a hope out there for the people that maybe don't think they could dance and hey, you just never know with the right time, right? Practice. You too could be more Higgins. If you say that. If you to myself. Yeah, I'm saying that to myself. (laughing) Maybe I could, if I had more, you know, you get the right teacher. You're so right. The right teacher, you just never know. You're so right. And Mark has just done a brilliant job. So it has been so fun watching their dances. They're always gorgeous. Jackson and Emma Waltz to Without You score 21. So Jackson also stepped in at this week, he commented. I think it was one of his teammates being like, how did you do the dance better than him after only two hours of practice? - Yeah, better than Guillermo of practice. I said to Fran, this felt like he meant to DM it to him and accidentally commented it. 'Cause you know how like sometimes when you're sending somebody something. And I'm like, I feel like he meant to DM this and he ended up commenting it. - I always do the opposite. Like where somehow I'm sending a DM and I thought it was a comment. - Yes. - Why the fuck is this setting as a DM? Like what? - I thought I was just replying to a comment just send a DM to this person. - That was bizarre though. Like if it was either way, it was just kind of like, why would you do that? - No, and here's the thing with the internet right now. Like Guillermo is untouchable when it comes to the other cast. Like we see how people have reacted to like-- - If he had sent it about anyone though. - Being mean to Guillermo, like on the show. And he's a grown man. Like it's okay. - No, no, but if he said that about it-- - If he said that about anyone on the cast it was just weird. - No, no, no, no. He's been about Amber Glen. How did you do it better than her? With all these, like I would have been worse honestly. - Would have been worse. - It wouldn't have happened. - Well, it just would have been so bizarre about anybody. - No, it was a weird comment to make regardless. I think he was, I don't know. I guess trying to hype up his friend more. I don't know, but it did not come across kind, but then like right before the show Jackson like posted a video with Guillermo trying to say like all was good. - He said that he went to his trailer and they talked for 30 minutes. I would pay to see that conversation. Like Guillermo and him like having a serious conversation for 30 minutes is a long time. - I don't believe that was wrong. - I don't know if that requires 30 minutes. - But that's what I'm saying. - 30 minutes, like what are they talking about? - Maybe they were getting deep about it. Days of the stars though. - Did Jackson do the V&E's waltz or a waltz? Someone did a V&E's waltz last night. - He just did a regular waltz. - This is Julia Stiles, did a V&E's waltz. - Oh Julia did a V&E's waltz. Watching the different waltz is very close together. It was interesting. More in Mark, so good. I felt like this choreography was a little bit, was a little different. Like Derek had said, I felt Mark and more, I did a really classic waltz. Something about Jackson just, I don't know. I don't know what it is, which is, you know. - Yeah, great to say. There's just something about it. Like I don't fully enjoy watching his dance, which is not nice, but that's just how I feel watching him dance. I don't buy it. And I don't know exactly what it is. - Right, but I don't buy it. - Whatever he's selling, you're not buying. - And I'm so wrong about my initial prediction of being like, I'm gonna love these two. I love Emma. - Yeah, we fucking love Emma. - Loving Jackson. Something about Jackson, where it's just like, I don't know him. And I don't feel like he's, I'm connecting with him. I only know that he's like a happy-go-lucky banana. And I don't feel the same. I don't know Jackson. - Where's the synonym, deeper scale? - I feel that too. - I'm not getting vulnerable Jackson. I'm getting showman Jackson. I'm getting banana Jackson. - Yeah. - I want, I feel like brutal. I want to see more. I want to feel Jackson and I don't. - I totally understand what you're saying. - What was their score? - They had a score of 21. - Okay, so they got three sevens, I think, if I remember correctly. That's, yeah, it's very steady with Jackson. I also feel like I'm not, I don't, like this feels sort of his threshold. Like I don't know how, if he can go higher if that makes sense. - Yeah. - I'm just not connecting with it. Yeah, I think that's, I think that's very fair. And like Noah said, that's my opinion. - Yeah, exactly, exactly, exactly. Moving on, Tatiana and Yon. - Yes, of Jackson's score, 20. - Beautiful dance. - I'm so obsessed with Yon. Like, wow. - I, and I think Yon is, I think Yon is carrying, like he is doing great stuff with her right now. I think people love their duo so much that that is what is propelling them in the competition, 'cause I think there's always like, there's always stars that people love just because of who they are as a star, regardless of the pro. Then there's people who love the pro. And then there's the people who really love the pairing. And these two, it's like the pairing is just great. It is. And I thought this was really fun. And I just think he's so funny. - Yeah. - And we didn't get to see that much last year. I feel like, I mean, we got glimpses. But this year we're really seeing how funny he is. And I love it. I love it. And Tatiana is great too. But for me, Yon is kind of like, stealing the show in the pairing. - For sure. And I think Tatiana is also definitely getting better week to week and showing that improvement. I did agree with the judges that like, she's just got to finish a little bit stronger. Some of the moves like jazz is so like. - Yeah. - You just like really hit it, hit it very hard. Some of those moves. So I got the criticism. But I thought it was such a fun dance. Like it was really a great, great entertainment. - I agree. And I love their set too. I thought that was so fun. - Yeah, it was cute. - Connor and Riley Rumba to touch my body. score 19. The internet reaction to this is out of this world. We're getting almost a level. I felt like when people were freaking out about Tyler doing the off campus thing and like girls were screaming on their couches. This is how my TikTok has been of girls watching Connor do that body roll at the beginning. Like girls legit screaming. Everyone's like Papa, he's daddy. Like that's like everybody's like he's become daddy. Forget Papa. It's all over my feet. I'll be honest, when he did those body rolls, I went, "Ooh Connor, okay." But it like it came and went. Like there was moments like the body roll and then when he did like sort of like that drop to the to the grind on the floor, I was like, "Woo!" Like there was moments that were that took me a back. But then the in-between was a little bit more of a struggle. Like I felt like sometimes he was chasing Riley a little bit in between the sort of those moves. But he got people feeling feeling something. They were like, "Woo!" I thought that this was a really fun one for them too. And you want that strong reaction from the audience. And he's going to get that. Like his fans are so dedicated. And this is what I mean. Like with Connor, you feel something, right? You're really for him because you can feel his emotions. Like he's very vulnerable in the way that when he is mouthing things about how he feels. And so you know that he's beating himself up about not missing, you know, not getting moves, right? Or he's excited that he did the body roll. Like you just feel it, a deeper connection with him. That's what I mean when I'm talking about Jackson. Like I don't feel that way with him. Yeah, I totally get what you're saying. And I think that there's just such a level of relatability with Connor too. And I think that's just comes with being a comedian podcaster where your audience really feels like they know you. And that makes watching it feel like really enjoyable because you're just you're just really rooting for that person. And he was cracking me up, like talking about grinding in middle school and like sweet like sweet Riley is like I don't even know what that is. Like it's like it's like it's was so funny to me because that's like sometimes the packages feel you know, maybe they can be a little serious or intense or it's just kind of just talking about judges feedback and how they can improve. But these two like there's always a joke, there's always something fun. There's always something you laugh about. And like Connor making that joke and talking about grinding, like that's where you feel connected to him because you're like, oh, we all had that experience like in middle school. It's something that you laugh about. It's so relatable for age. And it just it gives you such a good laugh. And that's a perfect example of being vulnerable. Doesn't have to mean being deep or or sad or something that's like, you know, in that way, it can be being fully in a funny way about, you know, past experiences. So yeah, exactly. So these two are just a fun watch. They really are. This is another one where I'm just like the pairing is so great. And I think that Riley is helping him so much. They're the he and I know people were like, he's being he's being majorly underscored. I don't know necessarily if I agree with the scoring per se, but his effort and like his the the way that he is trying. It's all really there. And I appreciate that. And I really do enjoy watching him and Riley. Moving on Julia and Ezra, Julius Thousand Ezra. Oh my god. I thought I saw an animal, but it might have just been a car. Vini's Walt's division of love scored 21. I'm this was a good dance for her. It was a good dance for her, but I also don't feel like I'm connecting with Julia as much either. If I'm being completely honest, that's fair. I think that's also like I think that comes with the territory of being such a massive star. I don't think it is as easy for her to open up per se. But she is that was a beautiful dance. And I did feel like that was her best dance. Yeah, it was her best dance. And Ezra's choreography is so good. In my opinion, and I thought that this was a really good one. I thought that their dance last week was really fun too, but this was definitely the best technical. Yeah, definitely, definitely. Last Amber and Pasha from better hero, they got a 23. Another great dance by these two. And they're just going all the way to the end. I mean, like the Olympians are just crushing it. The Pashkov household is really just nailing it. And the lines and the moments that she hits and that move where she was like just a straight line, but her leg was I was just that final move was incredible. It's really, she's just such a gorgeous dancer. And I think carry it to carry on, give her a seven. I don't have the, because she could, it was a 23, right? Yes. So I think she got two eighths and then carry on, gave her a seven. And I was shocked by that. Like I, I, I, I understand sometimes with carry on, it's like, I understand the feedback, like of what she's saying. But then I'm like, I don't know if the score represents that as well too. Like she said, you know, it's sort of just like flowing in the dance more and all these things. But I just thought that was a really gorgeous dance. I agree. I would have thought it would have been three, three eighths. I mean, sometimes carrions, I'm not like a carrion hater in the way that people get so mad when she gives criticism, because that's what she's there for. Yeah. But sometimes her scoring is all over the place for me. And I'm like, I don't know if this is representing the way that you felt about another dance. Like this, like the scoring doesn't make sense here. Totally. So it feels like Derek and Bruno are always really aligned on their scoring and carry on is always like in the field of her own. Yeah, I could see that. Dancing with the stars did just announce. They're, you know, they always have announced a new tour. Really exciting things they announced last night. A bunch of tour dates. And you know what? Fucking good for them. They're going to Madison Square Garden. Wow. Yeah. That is a step off from Radio City. They're doing MSG, which is really, really cool. I'm so, I'm so excited for them. That's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. That is wild. I saw the post this morning because I follow, uh, I have to follow the master's girl on Instagram. And yeah, just posted just announced with a stars live will come to the garden on Friday, February 5th. I was good for them. That's amazing. Guillermo will probably be on tour with them. Yeah, but yeah, probably he'll probably hit a couple shows. He's definitely, he's definitely well, no, I, I don't think Danny and Pasha are doing tour this year. Fair. Like they probably want some time as a family, you know, maybe. Yeah. Maybe they just want a little break. Like they've been going, going, going for so long. Like I wouldn't be surprised if they were like, hey, we just want to chill. For sure. I think that's super fair. Selfishly like Danny just is so like she just makes these shows, in my opinion, everybody's a fantastic dancer, but she's just, she's just so mesmerizing. Yeah, she's, she's kind of in a league of her own times. Yes. And then she's just so damn good. So good. So good. But yeah, that's, that's this week. Like I said, next week is, uh, is Super Bowl night. So that'll be a lot of fun. And it'll be high energy before we get to, you know, dedication. I you end up like crying in every single person's dance. For sure. For sure. Uh, moving on just some quick little news here, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, look, collaboration on a new TV show. So I think Kim is producing it. And Kylie Jenner is starring in it. But I imagine her character gets killed off in the first episode because it is a, uh, thriller, thriller drama series about a bride on her bachelor at weekend, where the bride gets killed. And then they kind of try to figure out who did it on her bachelor. I did it. And Kylie is playing the bride. So I think that she gets, I don't know, Kylie, starring in this show, I think Kylie gets killed off in the first episode. She's, no, but they're saying she's headlining the show. She's like the star is what they're like saying. I know, I know. I use what you're hearing. That's why you're hearing what I'm saying. I don't think she's act like, yes, she's headlining the show as the bride, but she gets killed off the first episode because they already said the bride gets killed off. And that's what the show is about. Yeah, I was going to say, I was going to say, I'm sure there'll be a lot of flashbacks where like, maybe they have to establish the friendships with each of the girls to be like, what happened? So they'll shut, like, they'll film a lot of pre-stuff. It's like a, any type of, you know, murder mystery show where it's like, yeah, the main character gets killed off in episode one, but they're still in the whole season. Yeah, like just a little subtle flashbacks. I, I think that. That's what they mean by, like, headlining the show because she's playing the bride. I'm excited to see how this turns out though. Like, yeah. I don't know. I'm interested. I don't know. They're really taking a whack at the acting. Hey, they could do it because they have the connections. So why not take a whack at it? Holy shit. I'm forgetting that I fucking saw Tim at the show. Yeah. Yeah. That's a solid. That's a solid isn't understatement. What is an understatement? Sorry, I'm screaming. I literally ate lunch next to Tim at the show. Yes. On Monday. I went to lunch on Monday near our new apartment. Yes. And was seated right next to Tim at the show. Crazy. Crazy that he was just enjoying an ice upper west side lunch. She was just enjoying an ice lunch and I couldn't believe it with his mom. Yeah. I couldn't believe it. I just thought, wow, my first week living here and I see Timothy Chalamet. Seriously. I mean, and by the way, I've been coming to the city multiple times a week for years now. Like, it's not like I keep talking about moving to the city as if I'm not in the city. Yeah, but it's a week, but it's about the downtime. Like it's in between, that's when you're seeing people, when you walk around, not really paying attention. Like you're in the city, but you're in and out, like you're in that you go to work, you go home. I'm not on a weekends and stuff, that's different. But like on a week day, it's not like strolling the streets, you never know who you're going to see. Now you have like Timothy Chalamet would have been my number one person to want to spot and it and it happened and I couldn't believe it. Yeah. I can't believe I forgot until this moment. I know. I just like tried to bury it out of my head because it didn't feel real. Yeah. Yeah. That is a very serious one. And then his mom asked me what salad I was eating because she said it looked good and I told her the pair salad. And yeah, Timothy, I think you'd like the pair salad. I didn't say anything though. Next time, you know, I didn't want to bother. He was having a nice lunch with his mom. You should have suddenly like out loud been like, oh, you know, we have to interview this celebrity next to it or like just said things that make it like where I'm in the industry too. I will say there were Matt was like, should I start saying some some neat like things to and I'm like, no, no, don't like it's going to we're going to seem like we're trying too hard. Yeah. It's also so funny if you like starts doing that and like talking so loud and he's just not listening. Yeah. He just like doesn't care. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We were sitting outside though and I had read into our listeners, one of our listeners on the subway right before this and I was like, please for the love of God, walk by again. Oh my God. Oh my God. You should have told me to come and pretend to be a fan. Oh my God. That's so true. And you don't think that I told Anna who was getting a blow out around the block to come by and pretend to be a fan and she was like, Maria, I'm in the middle of my blow out. I can't do this. I would have come. I would have come. Oh my God. I just was like praying that our listener would walk by again. I was like, Oh my God, this would be amazing right now. That would have really been icing on the cake. That would have been insane. But he was having a nice lunch. So we didn't say anything because you know, they didn't want to bother. He didn't want to. Hey, respects. He's just chilling. I was trying to respect his privacy. Respect your mother. They say maybe he was respecting your privacy. Maybe he knew you. Yeah. That's definitely why his mom asked me what salad I was eating because she was big. Yeah. I don't even know. When she came over to ask me what salad I was eating, I was like, what does she want to say right now? Like, maybe she's a chick. Is the opposite her? I feel like he's also so. I feel like he's online, especially with sports stuff that maybe, maybe, maybe he's like, I've seen that guy before. Like, Maria, like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's very, very possible. Wait, were you guys at the martisoprene premiere in the in the back row, right? Yeah. Oh, damn. Yeah. Well, anyways, Kylie Jenner acting, you know, she's got a very famous Oscar nominated boyfriend. And she wants to try it out. It might be too. It's like, there's really nothing to lose because I think she's seen what Kim has done and like, Kim enjoys doing it despite that show, like getting the worst reviews of all time that can. And they got a second season. So like, it's just at the level where, where why not? If you haven't interested in it and you had fun, it seems like the last couple of things she's done, she's enjoyed doing. So go ahead and try it and see what happens because worst case, like, at this point, I think they've heard it all that they're like, you know, this could be fun. So maybe, maybe we'll, we'll give it a whack. Right. Yeah. So about there and took a risk. Last topic, meekabdala and Josh Houston, they go public. They went public in Paris. So cute. What are you stunning? Couple. Oh, wow. What a just gorgeous, gorgeous couple with the best hair. They still have them. They have them. They got it. They got to get a hair commercial. The two of them together. I don't normally use the term like striking, but these two are just, they're striking. They are. They are. We get term for that. Yeah. They really are. And I love to cause it's like, there's some key pictures that came out and then there was also a video. It was sort of them coming out of a bus or, you know, whatever, a van situation, private private car. And she sort of stumbled on the steps coming down and he was just a strong shoulder to be there. Make sure she was, she was upright. There was a big Dumaw rumor or at least a Dumaw post. And I think that they had said that someone from off campus relationship had ended and it wasn't like specific to who it was, but we know that there's, I mean, there's a lot of guys that have been like in relationships. So a lot of speculation. I think a lot of people thought maybe it was them just because they are like a double off campus couple. They're both on the show. That's what they did go and then we saw this. Yeah. Well, they're still together. Belmont and his girlfriend are still together. Yeah. I think people think it's Antonio and might be Antonio. Yeah. Yeah. That I don't know. That's just a guess. That's just that's yet is. And like there was just a million obviously people like in the comments throwing names around and I saw those two a lot. And then of course, like, you know, the pictures come out and everyone's like, Oh, they're, they're, they're good. You know, it seems like everything is okay in that world. I'm trying to think if I could, I forget where exactly you know what my brain goes to like I get and it's so bad because they're a young Hollywood couple. And I just go, I love them together. I don't want them to break up. But yeah, you just, you know, they're just a young Hollywood couple and they're, you just never know. They're just, they're just living their life. Yeah. Was they posted an off-campus relationship is over and then it was like taking guesses below in the comments. And everybody has a different guess like every, it's just so funny because you, these off-campus fans like have their favorites and like it can never be their favorites. Like it's like, well, it's not these two. Well, it's not these two. Yeah. So it's like, then there was, then there was possibly some other like, knee sure ones, but people are just like, just make sure it's not meek and Josh. Like that's what they were most really hammering home. But there's bits of great looks for Paris Fashion Week. Okay. I just would say, Chris and Wigg at the Chanel show, I'll have what she's having. You know? Like my God. Amazing. Talk about striking. Seriously, like so good. The content was making me smile like her and Pedro Pascal into a leap. Nicole Kidman, just really fun stuff, all the great outfits out of Paris Fashion Week. You just love to see. I love seeing Lily Reinhardt as all of her looks have been unbelievable like we talked about it with her press tour. But just heard the mu mu show, she looked incredible. She's got Jack with her. They look so great. Yes. She looked great. The mu mu looks were not great. Sometimes mu mu, like just my own individual fashion preferences, like as individual pieces, I like them. And then sometimes when they put it all together, it's, it's not as cute. And it's not as like flattering to the person wearing the outfit. If that makes sense. I have so many cool, young, fun people that go to these, to the mu mu shows. And sometimes the outfits they're in, I'm just like, it's kind of boring. Yeah, totally agree. Yeah. Totally agree. It is, I do love seeing all the Paris Fashion Week looks. Yeah. They've been awesome. All right. That wraps up today's topics. All right, let's get into the pop corner. But first, we have to talk about truly, because truly is all about bringing people and friends together. It's about turning. We should get together. to see Saturday a call for a fun together with your fre sports to die hard. You c the the togetherness it b into full swing, you know you grab a pack of trulli your friends house, watch truly brings the fun, ref in a bubbly style. They're refreshing by design to keep friends and with only one calories. They're great for all the heaviness from other and they have the most fri styles out all the time. So pack today. All right, let's your hot takes your voicemail the popcorn. We're taking your hot takes your voicemail Noah played the first voicem Amanda calling from chili. you guys recently posted a and drive a telly out in actively wearing a horrible Okay, he has feels on. He's on. He's got these crazy and this sweater that makes heavier than he actually is. It's an objectively horrible outfit. I commented a simple what the hell is he wearing? Think it's a valid question, valid comment. And I am getting so much freaking hate. And people are coming at me. Some people are coming at me. But whatever happened to hating heating on outfits. Whatever happened to hitting on man. What happened to hating in general? People are literally coming for me saying, you've never seen a boot in my hair. Like this outfit sucks. You know, talk about a hot take. All right, fine. This is a, I believe what we say when we mean hot take, what happened I hate a lot of. I hate a lot of Travis's outfits. I didn't hate this one. I'm trying to think of when this was. When they were going to Theresa. The other wasn't that outfit did not bother me whatsoever. Wait, did I thought she said he was in red pants? No, wide pants. Oh, wide pants. Wide like pants. This outfit. We am like crazy. I liked this outfit. No, like I was so on, but like he's worn some crazy things. Yes. And this is like so actually subtle and nice. This is like one of the least defensive things that he's. When I saw it, my first thought was he looks way heavier than he is. I agree with that. Okay, but like, okay, but we're not like that's different. Here's the thing. I'm not going to be commenting. There's where there's a. And sorry, not to be that person, but it's like, yeah, hating, blah, blah, blah. It's different to hate on the outfit than to hate on on the person's weight in the outfit. No, it's not the way. It's the fact that you look like he's. Yeah, but people do that shit all the time about outfits. Like I saw a lot of people do a leap of wearing a stunning outfit in Paris and people automatically jump to. She's pregnant. Why is she wearing this bulky outfit? Can't someone just wear a a bulky outfit because they want to wear a bulky outfit that day or a bigger outfit and like not care on like how it comes across. I don't know. God forbid. God forbid. A man wants to wear his eating sweater to Teresa. Exactly. Right. Good point, friend. Good point. You want to stuff your Teresa. He's so cute because I'm stug. I'm you want to roll me out of there at the end of the night. It's an eating sweater. It is an eating sweater. Okay, here's a thing. I love the sentiment of what is a letter. It's so funny. It's so real. I love the sentiment of what she is. I like of what she saying. You don't have to like an outfit and no, I don't think like here's the thing with fashion. It's like if you don't like it, that does not warrant people to attack you as a part. You're not saying you don't like the person. You just only the clothes that they're wearing. And that's like, that's okay. We have to be okay. We had to be okay with people being critical on outfits. Personally, this is just not the one I would have come for Travis for. He has worn some ridiculous outfits and some colors that don't match and clash and crazy things sometimes like these big sometimes these like these fuzzy sweaters and these crazy shoes and all these things that don't go out. This was a nice. I'm with you. This is not one that I'm, you know, bent out of shape about, but I think that you're right in the way that you can absolutely not like an outfit. It happens all the time. Yeah. Your outfit's not going to be for everybody. Not everybody has the same taste. That's just life. And it would be weird if everyone had the same exact taste and had the same exact fashion sense and everybody wore the same exact thing all the time. Like you got to take a picture of what he's just in a sweater. What the hell is this outfit? Comment though it pretty innocent on like a page that post pictures. Yeah, like a pop culture page. You kind of have to for sure. You're not commenting on like your picture. You have to expect for that to happen. On a culture. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, it wasn't like I hate Travis Kelsey. I think he's a terrible human and he's, he's ugly and disgusting. Like that's, that's like Travis Kelsey is so fat and ugly. Yeah. No, we can't be doing that. But not liking his outfit. Whatever. Hi, I'm Jennifer Nashville. I want to get your take on something. Okay. So if you had a friend coming to visit you who lives in a different city and your friend who's coming to visit is pregnant and there's limited beds, would you offer for her to sleep in your bed? Either with you or like in place of your boyfriend or whatever as opposed to sleeping on the couch or an air mattress. And if you were the pregnant one, would you expect that? Because I was talking to my husband. I'm debating whether I make like a small weekend trip to go to Chicago to visit some friends. And I was like, I don't know if I'm going to go though because like the only thing is like there's no parking and I have to keep on an air mattress and I don't know. I'm like, I'm also like halfway pregnant right now experiencing some physical discomfort. But I'm not like about to pop, you know? And he was like, they're not giving you their bed. And I was like, well no, but like, I wouldn't want to expect that. And I feel like they really should. So I don't know, is that like presumptuous to assume that if your pregnant people should just automatically give you their bed or is that like a state like in your opinion, should that be like the norm, like courteous thoughtful thing to do? Because if the role is your reverse, I honestly don't know if I would even stay good at it to like offer up my own bed and for me to sleep somewhere else. I don't know. I'm sure I can not. Okay. Love you, guys. I think if I was pregnant, I wouldn't assume someone was getting me their bed. But as a host, I would absolutely offer my bed. I offer my bed up to people who aren't pregnant. So that's just that's just the kind of host I am that I would be like, like take whatever you need anything to make this comfortable for you. I will sleep on the couch. Me and my husband will sleep on the couch. You take the bed. But showing up as the pregnant woman, you can't, I don't think you could just assume, right? But I think you know your friends better than. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like I guess you just know your friends, right? So it's like, is your friend the type to I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, really case, really case by case, like depending on what. What space you're working with, like what? Well, just think if you have one king bed in your in your home and then you have a couch or a, um, error mattress, you do not have a guest. No, first thing to be like that. Yeah. I, if I had, if I had a pregnant friend come stay at my apartment, like I would absolutely offer her my bed. Like I don't have, that's my setup. I have one, I'm in a one bedroom apartment. So I think I like, I think I would, but I don't know if it would one, like, I don't think I would go in 100% thinking about it, but then when it would come to the time of like, oh, everyone needs to go to sleep. I'd be like, wait, this is crazy. You can't sleep on the couch. Like I think that you would, it would come across in, in that moment. I don't know if I would be like pre-planning totally, but now that I'm thinking about it, I've just, I've, I've never had this, this happened. So now that I'm thinking about it, it's like, well, yeah, I would totally say you would get the bed. I do that like when my mom comes to visit, I'm like, you should sleep right in the bed, you know? So I think that that would make sense. But it's also like, if you're close enough, you're going to visit your friend and staying in their apartment, like I'm assuming or at home, you know, I'm assuming you're quite close to be like, Hey, let's, let's, let's talk about the sleeping arrangements. Cause you know, I, I, I'm pregnant and I feel like I need a little bit more support. Yeah. I think you could definitely say something. And you know what? Sometimes you just can't assume, right? Like, no, maybe that's what they say. Maybe if you just bring it up, like, it's better to bring it up before and not as soon as then if you're like, oh my god, I can't believe my friend didn't offer this to me. Yeah. And then your friend might just be like over, over seeing it for a minute. For sure, it's like, oh, fuck, I didn't even, wow, you should totally have my bed. Exactly. All right. Let's do one more. Hi, guys. So my hot take is that Leonardo DiCaprio is still in love with Kate Winslet. And the reason I see these, I've seen these down is because you're trying to find the feeling that he had back when they first met. And they will forever be my greatest, like Hollywood. What if love story? [BLANK_AUDIO] I just curious what your thoughts are on that. - I love, I absolutely love that and I couldn't agree more. I actually, this came up in my TikTok recently. I wonder if she saw the same video. It was like 10 minutes, it was like all the instances of interviews, moments of them talking about each other and how much they love each other and supporting each other and like being there for each other on carpets and like flashbacks to them when they were younger. And I could totally see that where it's like, hey, you know, these two, he was not at the point of his life to realize how special she was. - I mean, if Leo was into age appropriate women, then yes, but-- - Yeah, well, totally. - It's not his type. - Wait, did they ever actually date? - No, I didn't know, the argument is just like, the argument is just, the argument that people make is that like this is why he goes for younger women all the time too was just 'cause like he lost his great love. - Because Kate's the one that got away. - Like it's just like, he'll just, it'll never, like anybody age appropriate would just like, it would just, it has to be Kate, so-- - Yeah. - You know what, that actually makes things a little bit better if you think of it like that. Like, oh, wow. - Oh, it does make it better. - He's just really in love with Kate Winslet, so that's why he only dates. - It's so not the case, but that is what, like I'm sure Leo was like, yeah, let's ruin that spin. - Yeah, Leo's like, I actually love this. Let's get those TikTok edits out there. Let's keep this narrative going. - Yeah, yeah, exactly. Like I'm just, I'm just so sad. I need the comfort of a younger woman because I never had my one true love Kate Winslet. - Yeah, enough Kate. - Okay, sure. - Well, they're, I love, they're so supportive of each other and I do love washing them talk about each other. Like it is always beautiful. And it is one of those ones that you think like, man, I wonder if they could have made it work, but they're great friends, me too. Like in another life, Leo's one of those - Just totally. - In another life they found each other. - Yeah, you know, he's one of those people that's been in a long standing Hollywood relationship that you really look back and respect. Like when we talk about couples that are like, oh my God, they've been together since 1997. That's awesome. He's not, he's not one of those, but in another lifetime he was. - That's for sure. - All right, that wraps up the popcorn or keep calling in. That wraps up today's episode of Chicks in the Office. Thank you so much for watching and listening. We love you guys. So much and we'll talk to you on Friday. - Yeah, Chicks in the Office. A long time listener, first time crawler. - Look at the chart too, does it the best? Two chicks getting paid and reality checks. You can find them at the gym, it's not even a flex. Last minute red carpet, flew them out on the jet. Yeah, they're who you wanna be. They're always on your screen. Two queens and they might be spilling royalty. A lot of topics that are popping here to get into. I know a show that you probably wanna listen to. - Who turned the heat up? Turn the beat up. Record the pie made a bag with their feet up. The ones that leave no crumbs when they clean up. Who's the pie that they all wanna meet up? (upbeat music)
