The transcription features an interview with Dan, a 57-year-old Swedish man who recently completed day game coaching in Prague. Dan had struggled for years with solo attempts, only managing to approach women standing by their bikes. During coaching, he quickly learned to perform "London front stops" and progressed to having multiple dates, including one with a 22-year-old virgin and another with an attractive Russian woman that ended in a steamy make-out. Key lessons included overcoming approach anxiety on the first day, understanding conversation structure by day two, and applying storytelling and topic stacking to generate engaging interactions by day three, resulting in five number closes that all replied. Dan stressed that styling and grooming are critical for older men, rating their importance 9-10, as women notice small details like jeans and sunglasses. He also highlighted that watching coaching content after the experience was transformative; he now understands the deep structure behind effective day game conversations, which he previously only superficially grasped. The interview underscores that day game coaching can be effective for men of any age, focusing on practical skills like opening, stacking topics, and storytelling to build attraction and confidence.

I just got back from Prague where I was coaching Dan, a 57 year old day game student. Before we met, he had never done a proper day game, front stop. And by the time we left Prague, he had been on multiple day game dates, one with a 20-year old virgin. Today, you will hear Dan tell about his experience. I didn't want to do another crazy before after story about a student who gets multiple days in one week of learning day game. Instead, I wanted to share a typical day game coaching experience. How does someone who is not in his 20s or 30s anymore actually does? Even though before we met for coaching, he was only able to approach one type of a girl, a girl who's standing next to her bike and waiting for something. Dan is not the smoothest guy out there, but he's a fun dude who knows how to play to his strengths. And it worked. As usual, when I have guests on this podcast episode, we'll be audio only and on top of that to preserve Dan's privacy even more, I've changed his voice a little bit. If listening to Dan's story inspires you to get day game coaching, then you'll find all the details about how coaching usually works, the approximate pricing, etc. in the link in the description. There you'll also be able to schedule a free call so we can get to know each other talk details and decide whether this is a good idea for you. Now let's jump into the interview. Hey, Dan. So let's jump in. Let's start with giving guys a bit of basic background information about you. Just so guys understand, hey, who is this guy? So give us a bit of a who's Dan. All right. I am 57 years old. A Swedish guy. I am working with something that is partly creative and partly strategic, I guess. And I can work partly remotely. Or to some extent, I can work remotely. Yes. Okay. So, you know, mid to late 50s, Swedish and how did you decide to learn day game? You know, after all, it's a very niche thing. Yes, it is. Well, I've been kind of been intrigued by the whole scene ever since I read the game like 20 years ago. And I discovered day game five, six years ago for Tom Torreira and seen some videos. And I realized that I'm now on 57. If I ever want to learn this, this has to happen now. Otherwise, it would be too late. And the reason I want to learn it is because I want to be able to chat with those that I see, of course. And also the point is that by learning this, I was hoping or is hoping to be able to open up in general to be more present on broad level. So it's not just about women, it's about communication skills in general. Did they understand you correctly? Yeah, not only communication, but also life in general to be more present, to get out of my head. And be here alone to, yes. Okay. So there are a lot of guys who discovered, you know, who read the game many years ago and then discovered day game and watched some videos. But very few of them have gone as far as like, hey, I actually want to learn this. I'm going to get coaching. I really want to give this a solid try. So how do you decide to actually give this like a real solid try? Yeah, four years I've been trying to make it happen on my own. So I spent numerous days and endless hours by walking around trying to muster up some confidence. And nothing has really happened. And years goes by and I finally thought it was actually on my way to do a session, another one that was just ending up in nothing. So I did shoot you a text saying that I need, I need help basically. And yeah, I realized that I need someone to help me and coach me and push me. Okay. And by the way, speaking about thinking about this for many years and trying to do this on your own, you know, when you say that, hey, I was, I'm like, like, mid to late 50s. If I don't do this now, then like, I have to do this now. I've heard so many times from guys in their like 30s who learn day game on the after coaching. They're like, I wish I did this like 10 years ago. And I hear this from guys in their 40s. I wish I did this 10 years ago. And everyone always just says, I wish I did this, I wish I did this earlier. So we're going to keep hearing this all the time. So okay, you had tried a little bit on your own. But you did because we did a month of preparation before coaching and you were going out and you were approaching stationary sets. Yeah, girls who were only standing and waiting, correct? Yes, exactly. I have found my little niche. It was girls standing close to their bikes, basically. That was my niche. Okay. So you had a very, very specific niche thing that, hey, I can do this, let me start with this, which is not a bad thing if you can then move on to something else. But so, but before we started the preparation month, had you had done some approaches before or zero? No, I had done some, but very unstructured and most of the time there were like days and days and days where I only managed to maybe do some warmups. Like I could on a full day, like seven, eight hours out in the city. I could maybe say a compliment to two girls passing by. That's it. Okay. And so, and then we, you know, we hope in a call, we talked and we decided, okay, let's do this. We agreed that, hey, this city in Europe, let's not, let's not mention the city, by the way. I already talk about it, but I don't want it to be become as over game, does it use to be. So, we decided that we're going to go to this, ah, fuck it, we can mention the city because it's going to come down to it anyway. So we decided to go to Prague, which I like for coaching in winter and early spring. I don't like coach. I'm not a big fan of coaching, we are going to mid-summer, but we decided to go to Prague. And you prepared for a month, you were going out on your own, you were starting to do your, you know, she's close to a bike with me, do some stops, you were starting to approach. But then, how, how, how scary was it to actually kind of show up and, hey, we're finally doing this or was it easy or? No, I was absolutely petrified. Okay. Tell us, before we jump into, you can step by step things of how you learned, tell us overall. So how did the coaching go, what were the results, how many dates, what happened? Yes, I, that the coaching was very fruitful, I think. From the first steps, I was trying to overcome my AA and actually do the London full stop to, to do progress and actually get some dates. And so when did you start doing London front stops, which you were very afraid of? Yeah, it was on the very first, I mean, it was on the first day of coaching. That was your session. First approach is, yes. So you went from never, you had never done a single London front stop before and then on that session, the first approach you're doing, I'm already pushing you to do a London front stop, which, you know, you did it pretty okay. And you, you did get a few dates during your coaching days. So tell guys what happened there, how many dates, who, how did it go, etc. Yes. And first, you sounded so determined. So I thought there was no, there was no way avoiding the London full stop. So it was just to dig into it and bite the bullet. And yeah, in the dates, the first one was with actually a 22 year old virgin. So that was a bit of an experience. And we were like holding hands and she thought that she was absolutely wonderful. She couldn't wait to tell her friends that she had the. She held hands with someone. Yeah, and went out with someone that she just met and obviously an older guy. And then I was in a date with a really attractive Russian girl. That was good. I think we both got the crushes. I got a crush on her and she got a crush on me. So that was a great date. How did the date end? I like the story about the ending of the date. Yeah, there was some steamy make out. Steamy make out. By the way, I still think you should stay in touch with her and maybe go back there again and see if you can. Because I think it's a good city for you to go back to once in a while. Because it's relatively easy for you. It was relatively easy for you today game and get decent reactions once you started doing good things. So I think it's a good idea for you to return there and see if any of those leads are still alive as well. And get some new leads. And after all, it's pretty close to where you live. And the Russian, if you hadn't opened her, I would have opened her. She was a very beautiful, very feminine, just the right age group. So yeah, that was really cool. So let's kind of start walking through our time together day by day. So what were the most important things you learned in the first day? What happened there? The first day for me was all about overcoming AA. Actually, the London first stop, I'm doing it properly. And I think that was a big thing for me. So I tried to learn that. But of course, when I've done the opener, I didn't really know what to say. I'm obviously a guest, since you were listening to the sets. It must have been painful to hear all the interesting, interesting and amazing, since I didn't really know what else to say. Yeah, that is what sometimes happens. So what happened on the first day was you very quickly learned to do a decent stop. And you were able to do a basic good opener, like a pre-opener, compliment the first stack. And then you actually pre-decented that very quickly. You learned that. You had no issues with that, I would say. And then you started getting topics to talk about. You would find out where they're from. What do they do? Which is the first thing in the day game said you need to do is you need to find out something about her. Because then you can start building attraction by teasing, storytelling, working with these topics. And on the day one, yeah, you were very good at finding all these things. And it was just, just as you said, you know, interesting, amazing, interesting. But that's that. But as you, as you learned, I think that's, that's kind of expected for day one. It's normal that people get these topics. They don't know what to do because do you remember what I told you what the goal for day one is? What's like the bar we have to get to on day one? I don't remember, but I guess it was just to, to open and, yeah, still. So for me, day one of coaching is always the goal for day one of coaching is if the student can do a good stop. And a good opening line, like a really well delivered opening line and get a, he gets to a point where a girl is stopping and is responding with a topic to talk about. Maybe the girl says where she's from. What is she up to? What she does for living, anything like that. Like that's a really good first day. If we have that, it's a really, really nice day because when we do that, that's, that's what I want from the student. But for me, the first day is I have to take a look at the student and understand, hey, what is this guy like? Because there are very different types of guys. There are these good looking ex-towers, you know, who can talk to anyone and then there are very serious guys. I have to understand, hey, what the hell do I do with this dude? Yeah, what's up? So that's why the bar is so low. Okay, so in the beginning, you know, you're able to start the conversation, you're able to get topics to talk about. What happens next? When do things start making sense? When are you able to maybe carry on the conversation a little bit longer? I think maybe it was at the end in day two, where I didn't necessarily knew how to carry on the conversation, but I started to understand what I needed to learn. After I had getting the topics, how to tell stories based on those topics. Okay, so you were kind of, you knew what you had to do. It doesn't mean you were able to smoothly do it, but you understood, hey, what the fuck do I do here? Does that kind of describe it correctly? Yes, I understood that often opening, I had to get topics and I get topics by doing stacking. And then I kind of started to understand the structure of how to do the storytelling when I got the topics. But I had no clue of how to do that really. Okay, because I also, I think once in a while I did like a demo set where I showed you, hey, I took the microphone, you took the ERPs and I stopped someone and I showed you, hey, this is how you run a day game conversation. So what did you see in these sets, in these conversations, in the demo sets? What did you notice there while you were learning? Yes, when I was listening in, when you were doing the demos, I was, it was just like listening to a conversation that was really flowing well. It wasn't until later I understood or understood that there was a clear structure to what you were doing. So first demo sets, it was just you having a dynamic conversation. I didn't see the different pieces that went into it. But then over time you realized, oh, he's doing this thing, he's doing that thing. Basically the same things that I was teaching you, you were seeing in the demo sets. Exactly. And where would you say that things really started to make sense? When did it start to kind of click and work? I think it was day three when I started to understand the structure and could start using it. I would say. Okay, and what were the biggest differences ones that happened? What were you able to do? I think it was on that day and got like five number closes that all replied back to me. So something had changed, obviously. Do you remember what had changed in your sets? Like, and what were the things you were doing in your sets to keep them going for longer? It was absolutely that I could take the topics and start to run with it. So I was expanding and telling stories and telling stories that was related to them. And I think also that I was getting better at being a bit more present and also able to paint pictures of them in certain situations that made them. Related and also sparked reactions from them, which made me able to continue. Okay, so you were not only able to find topics and then just talk about it, but talk about them. But you were able to talk about them in an interesting, engaging way that made the girls respond. What if they didn't respond to much on the first topic you get? What were you going next? Then I went into a new stacking to try to get a new topic. Yeah, you just get the next topic. Do the next thesis. Do a few of those. And if you're interested, you keep going. If not, then well, you end the conversation. Wish you a nice day and three minutes later talking to the next girl. I remember very interestingly that we talked about how you had watched my content before. But how you're understanding of my content before and after coaching, there were like completely different things. How you're understanding of the of the content change. Can you tell the guys a little bit about that? Yeah, it's almost hard to explain that I was I was I was viewing the content and the student. If someone would have asked me about it, I could have. I could tell them about it, but it hadn't really. I hadn't understood it on a on a deeper level. So when I see the content now after the coaching, it's like a completely different thing. Now I see things. in a different way and understand what you are trying to communicate. It did not just resonate with me before the coaching. I've actually heard this a few times on comments as well where people say that the better I become a day game, the more I start appreciating the content you're making. I don't make flashing infills and I don't make five best day game openers. I like to really geek out and tell guys the in-depth stuff that actually gets you results instead of just giving you some clickbait, clickbait, openers, clickbait, TZs and teaching you about like, Manusphere stuff. Let's talk about a topic that's definitely important for you and we also had questions from guys about this topic to you. You're obviously on the older side. You're in your mid to late 50s and you're opening women in very different age groups. As a day game or someone who's learning day game in your mid to late 50s, what's your take on the importance of style and grooming? I think as older you get, I think the more important it becomes. I think if you are old and wearing like a dated outfit, there is a risk that the whole package you will be considered as dated. So styling grooming, I would say, is really, really essential, especially if the older you get, the more important it becomes. And in my age, it's like, do her die. So just so guys understand your take on this. If you had to rate the importance of style for guys over 50 styling grooming, how would you rate it in terms of one to 10, 10 being? It's the most super important one being, whatever. Yeah, I was at 9 or 10, absolutely. Remember that one of the last sets you did with the Russian girl, what happened there? Tell guys about that, were you talked about, were she really liked your style? I don't really recall the one that's last is the conversation what glasses. Yeah, yeah, I think I got comments during the sessions about my jeans, my sunglasses, about overall style. So it's interesting, I think that I think women are paying much more attention to details. I got comments about my sneakers as well. So women are obviously noticing the details on a level that you may think that they are not, but it is really important. And it makes a big difference. Yeah, there's the small details, like a good look. Of course there are some basic rules people have to follow to have a good outfit and good style and good grooming. But to take that look from like seven out of 10 to nine out of 10, 10 out of 10, it's all about the very small details and those small details have to be done right. And a lot of those details you were doing correctly. So that was really, really cool to see, you're like a stylish guy and we definitely see that we saw that in reactions from some girls who actually comment on it during the set. So that was that was I think very important. Okay, let's do like a little experiment. And of course, don't be don't worry if you don't get everything right and you can fuck up a little bit here. Yeah, but let's run through the structure a little bit. I want, I want the people to see how you interpret the day game structure. So I'm going to ask you some questions. Hey, how do we start the set? What happens first? What happens then? What happens then? And I just want your take. What do you think is the what have you learned? What do you have to do in each of these situations? Sounds good? Yeah, all right. Yeah, let's go. So okay, we started the day and said you do you do you do like your first stop. What are the most important things that have to happen during a good stop and open? First of all, make make the space between me and the girl sufficient. So I don't get too close. If I have good space, she has time to see me. She can slow down. I can open. If I get too tight, I will get stressed and I will talk really fast and everything will kind of go downhill from there. So I think that is important. Can you space what else? Talk in a clear way. And for me, it was also good. Before I was opening to think that I was really wanted to meet that person to not be to mechanical in the approach. Can you explain what a good stack looks like? What are the most important things of a good stack? The point of the stacking is to generate topics. So it has to be about her. And it has to be some different, not only one stack, not just a, it has to be a or b for example. This is what I wanted to hear. This is a very important point. What happens if you do a stack and you only do is like, hey, you look very, let's say, you look very creative like you work in fashion. What's the biggest risk that can happen if you do that? Are you going to clear just or clear no? And most likely, most likely it's going to be a no. And then, and then you kind of fucked. So what's the downside? What's the risk of you do it with only a she says no. So what's the risk in the day game set? What are the downsides of that? Yeah, then I kind of get stuck and then it's suddenly it's me. I am suddenly in a position where I need to qualify. I need to guess on the right thing and she's like in a position where she can say that I was right or I was wrong. And then the dynamic is kind of screwed. Yeah, it's sort of like when when you do only one guess and she says no and people keep guessing it's this dynamic. Tom Pereira used to say we're. Tom Pereira used to say how it's like you're like a you're like a little circus doggy and she's holding up the hoop and you're trying to jump through the hoop by guessing guessing what she does or she's from or something like that. And that's a big risk. Exactly. Yeah. Okay. So let's say you do get a topic you find out she's she works in an art gallery. You find out for profession. Let's say she does something creative like works in in art gallery. So what do you do next? What what should you do in the situation? What technique should you be using? Yeah, if it's about work, I can always do the standard ABC that it is. She needs to have learned a lot to be able to do what you do study hard, for example. And be when she has graduated graduated and she has started work. It's very competitive and and elaborate on that and see and with but when you guys unwind you go crazy and dance on the tables and do shots. Yeah, and the the very important point that you mentioned here that each time you do this like ABC and the three things about what she does for a living if the topic is what she does. Yeah, the things are always the same. Yeah, you you have to study so hard because you have to work so hard because it's very competitive because. And then we're talking about partying again you as you said you elaborate on each of these three things instead of just saying these three boring things you you add a bit more details about that specific girl about her specific profession. So well, the story is it's always the same three things you're customizing them for each profession and that way it's easy to do it because well it's the same three things. But there is also some improvisation which makes which makes it much more likely the girl will actually actually respond to this. Yeah, exactly. So that's kind of the beginning the beginning of a set. Those are the kind of the important things and let's say she you're doing three things you say the first thing and then she starts investing on the thing you say you have to study so hard because. Let's say she starts investing on the thing you have a bit of a conversation on that first thing when studying to the working art where should you go next. I can go to geography and to talk about where she's from. Before you go to geography. Remember this is a big mistake that people make during storytelling. Yeah, when a girl interrupts you when you're talking about the first or second thing you chat about Yeah, you should yeah, I should always get back to the to the topic. Yeah, you should. Yeah, I think I should continue all three things. Yeah, you cover all things because if you don't you're gonna run out of things to say very quickly. Yeah, you're gonna just say one thing about the topic A and then you get another topic you say one thing about the topic B and then all of a sudden you've done like four topics talked about 30 talked like 30 seconds on each topic and two minutes in you you don't know what to say and you have to reject right yeah. Okay, how do you know when it's like a good time to number close. I mean, the mood and the connection has to be good. I shouldn't wait too long because there is a risk that it will be solved and I will ask on a kind of a lower point. So are we trying to number close on a high. Yeah, before the energy drops in a set that's sort of like a field that you develop our time. Yeah, I know what are the technical topics. So, sorry, and also she knows she has to know something about me before I will go for the number close. Well, speaking of that, what are some things that you can't give her about yourself so that she feels like she knows you a little bit. I guess basically what I know about her that she may be knows where I'm from and what I'm doing in the city. And perhaps also what I what I do for living that will give her basic idea. Yeah, that's all we need some basic things and that's it. And what would you say are some topics you can talk about when we're talking about her. And some things you can find out or some topics you can cover so you don't run out of things to say. I can I mean work and geography is is is like to go to and speak of geography. I can let pictures of how it was when she was growing up in that. Regional or country. Yeah, any other topics that you think are good. I know that we've been talking about her mood where she is heading right now, which is how her dad has been and what she's up to next. Yeah, you can always do those and of course is that if she's not from another place or you're from another place, it's easy always to go to the traveling topic as well. And speaking, you mentioned a very important thing like a small new ones that I haven't talked about a lot on the videos about the about the question about where did she grow up. Yeah, why is it better to find out where did she grow up instead of talking about what she's from. I think it's easier to exaggerate and paint pictures of how it was when when she was growing up. It is more playful. Remember we talked about people from New York City. And London. The difference is about big cities. So why is it better to in these big cities to find out where she grew up. And of course they has probably not been growing up in that city that they're coming from somewhere else outside. Yeah, but the thing with big cities in a place like New York City or London, especially New York City, it's a status thing to be a New Yorker. So when you say you don't look like a typical New Yorker, even though she's been living there for like three years, she's going to say she's a New Yorker. But then you don't really find out where she where she grew up and you can't really work with the topic. Yeah, so you're kind of right. It's it's it's very unlikely she grew up there. She probably grew up somewhere else. And that's the good way to find out where did she where she actually from. Okay, and we have a few questions from the guys sent in over the email or in our group chat. So one is what are some things that you've done to kind of keep up kind of keep yourself up kind of for the game. So to say being being in your mid 50s, maybe some health fitness looks things like that. Are there any specific things you pay more attention to? Just in general try to stay fit. I guess be healthy. Keep working out and take take care of yourself. And a little hack. I think I'm using I'm using slightly tainted losses. I think I think that actually shapes off a few years. Boom. How do you learn about that? No, I haven't even heard about it. I can't I can't say exactly where I did pick it up, but that's. I'm kind of surprised that not more more people are using that. So slightly tainted. When we're talking about, you know, before and after coaching, how has your mindset changed about approaching girls who are younger than you? I think it's younger than me. Everyone is younger than me. Well, yeah, but you know, much younger like 35 years younger. Yes. I think it's still a bit of a challenge. I tried to go for those who are not like super young, but you can't avoid them all because you some can be like 35 but look like their early 20s. So you can't like avoid them all. And also as I have more and more overcome the AA, it's easier for me to approach younger girls and not make a big deal of it if it turns out that I think there may be a bit too young. And we talked about what's like the best age range for you to approach. So maybe you want to share that with with the guys listening. I would say like from late 20s up to the 40s. Yeah, that's kind of a good idea if you're going to mid to late 50s because people have to understand one thing that some girls will reject you just because you're age right. And I recently talked about this in like a different podcast episode. And the idea is that there's nothing you can do about it. And we're basically looking for girls who don't really mind, you know, we're looking for the. Let's say like there are girls who will reject you just because of your age they're called no girls. There's nothing you can do about it. And there are girls who will really like you for because you're a little older right those are yes girls. And then people shouldn't change anything with the girls that reject you instantly because of your age or girls that are excited about your age. And the game is kind of temporary is to say that the game is played with the may be girls with everyone else. So you focus on girls that don't mind your age and then you use as good game as possible to make them interested in going out with you. So that's kind of the idea that I like people having about age and speaking of age. Did this topic come up and if it did, how did you manage when you went out with the girl who was 22 years old, how did you manage the kind of the topic of age age difference of more than 30 years. And that was interesting. I had four dates and two of them were one of them was 22 and there was another one who was I think below 25. So maybe between 22 and 25. And on the four dates, no one ever asked about my age. It was me who was asking the girl turned out to be 22 at the end of the day because I was just curious. So then it came up. Okay. I guess we've covered everything that I wanted to talk about all the most of the questions the guys sent in that I think that we're kind of interesting to cover we've covered anything else you want to share with the guys any other kind of tips or or. And some some small thoughts that when it comes to style and grooming, I think that first of all too many, especially my age, they are again dressing very practically so you're using like more text jackets and using smart watches and maybe going to the same hairdresser that they have been going to for 10 years, getting the same haircut. It's easy to get stuck. So I think trying to stay curious and is one key takeaway. And what I also noticed on myself was the more confidence I got during the coaching coaching the more edger I kind of dared to dress up the outfit on the first day was kind of a bit. more Loki and then I could like accelerate as the confidence grew. And that's one thing I noticed. And another thing when I get back from the coaching and had launched, we've a friend, I realized how boring conversations people are having. Because now I've been using to like painting pictures and teasing and making accusations. So many of the conversations were really fun and playful and interesting. And then when you get back home, I've been launched with a friend and it's kind of just facts and me, me, me instead of focusing on the other person. So I thought that was kind of opening my eyes. Very nice. Well, then thank you a lot for doing this. Summary:

Dan prepared for a month by practicing approaching women who were standing near their bikes. Before coaching, he had never done a proper day game 'front stop' approach.

Dan went on multiple dates, including one with a 22-year-old virgin and another with a Russian woman where they had a steamy make-out session. He also got five phone numbers in one day.

The goal for day one is to perform a good stop and opening line that gets a girl to stop and respond with a topic, like where she is from or what she does.
