This week’s fantasy football preview highlights key player returns, matchups, and team dynamics across multiple games. Saequan Barkley’s return to the Texans could revitalize their offense, especially in a crucial matchup against the Cowboys. Jay Jay McCarthy, despite inconsistent performance, has a favorable matchup and could see a bounce-back, though volatility remains a risk. Zach Sharbonay, returning from injury, is positioned as a flexible RB option due to his proven touchdown potential. On the Patriots side, AJ Brown is emerging as a top WR target despite limited playing time, while injuries to Dobbs and Mac Hollins open up opportunities for lesser-known WRs. Jimmy Bernard’s rise as a consistent starter with high target volume and route participation makes him a top fantasy pick against the Saints, particularly given the Saints’ poor run defense. The Browns vs. Titans game features strong defensive matchups with both teams allowing significant yards, making them compelling for defense-focused fantasy strategies. Zay Flowers faces a tough cornerback matchup with DJ Turner, a highly underrated defender, which may cap his production despite his talent. Chase Brown remains a low-ceiling RB due to poor rushing efficiency, though he holds value as a modest RB2 in the Bengals’ offense. Overall, the week emphasizes high-variance QBs, injury-affected players, and defensive matchups as key factors in fantasy success.
[MUSIC] What's good friends, welcome into fantasy focus football alongside field jates and my claim. My name is Daniel Dopp, very excited to be here on a Thursday. Talking about Thursday night football, doing a week seven preview, diving into all the fun stuff. First and foremost, how are you guys doing today? I'm doing good. I'm looking at butter. Yeah, no, that button, I just, I get a sneak peek around the corner that the head on cameras don't see. Sorry, sorry. Okay. A little chest right there. It looked nice to me. But back up. Sorry. I keep my eyes where they belong up here. Okay. In the statue. Okay. Is that the same black shirt that you wore yesterday? I don't know. I only have one shirt. You guys have multiple shirts. I don't know. That's weird. Steve Jobs. This one has a little texture to it, guys. I can see that. It does. I can see that. Yeah. Trust us. Mike has had a serious wardrobe glow up. How outstanding. Yeah. You've been fantastic. Yeah. You're hair looks nice too. I don't. I'm getting credit for any of you. Okay. That's correct. That's fair. That's back in town. And the shirt's upgraded. Shout out to our friends over at trophy smack. Use the promo code trophy week seven. Do we really get 10% off your order over at trophy smack.com? Grab something fun there. We're going to get a little bit of news here before we dive into the games, guys. And first and foremost, we got some news on Mike's running back. Saequan bike. Barkley from Mike. Gara Folo says that Saequan Barkley expected to return to practice today. And is in line to play Monday against the cowboy sources say a lift for the team's offense. Would Saequan Barkley being back? We already had him ranked. We hadn't pulled him from the rankings yet. Mike, what was the projection that you had on him come in? Projection will be in the RB two range this week. I'm not sure. This is a tricky one because you think he's been out a while. Maybe they limit him a little bit. But also if you're that team right now, if you're Nick Seriani and you're figuring out what to do with this offense, you have no more Jalen Hertz. You're probably thinking. All right. I put it on Saequan's back here now for a while. Right. I mean, actually, you would think that let's go. Let's run the ball. Let's give it to him 20 times a game. So I think if you have Barkley on your team, it's been a disappointment so far. But there's a reason to think this guy could be very busy the rest of the season. Great matchup against the Cowboys on Monday night. And there's a world in which if the Texans beat the Giants on Sunday, which I think we all agree is possible that the Eagles Cowboys winner would be just a half game back. In the NFC least, after Monday night football fire up Saequan, I would love to see him get off the bus list. Maybe Tanner McKee actually throws him the football because Tanner McKee is not running quarterback. In order for the Texans to beat the Giants. So that means they're probably going to have to take down Jay Jay McCarthy, feel that not probably they will have to take down Jay Jay McCarthy. He has been named the starting quarterback against the Houston Texans. And you would presume this means that Jay Jay McCarthy will just be the starting quarterback the guy going forward, JJ a younger quarterback than James Winston. The Giants are still in first place in the NFC least. And Jay Jay McCarthy faces, I think a tough matchup on Sunday. That being said, if you look at the projection, it's probably healthier than you'd expect for Jay Jay McCarthy for two reasons. One, this Texans defense, I think is awesome, but it has not been nearly as awesome as it was. Correct. Last year, where it was a total stay away when you had your quarterback facing the Texans and fantasy football. And two, Jay Jay is good enough athlete that he can do some damage with his legs as well. As we saw last week, he was the Giants leading Russia with a measly 28 rushing yards. But still, he was a leading Russia for that Giants team. He had a 26 yard scramble. He's a mid pack QB two. I would not be moving somebody. That's my normal starter out of my lineup to replace him with Jay Jay McCarthy. But there are some decent matchups for this Giants team going forward, given that they still have to play the Cowboys again, they get the commanders again, and they're playing a last place schedule from last year. So some decent matches for the Giants and Jay Jay McCarthy the rest of the way. Yeah. I haven't projected for 16 points, but I don't think he'll score 16 points, guys. I think he'll probably be in the 20s or seven like it's somewhere that was the trend last year, right? Four of eight games. He'd 18 plus fantasy points. But the other four were an absolute disaster. And that's just his full games, not even the ones that he left early or came in late. So he's a very volatile quarterback so far, but we'll see if we could put it together because he was slinging it around last week. And if he can, if he pushes it down field like that to neighbors and likely and adds 30 yards and the occasional rushing touchdown like you did last year, there could be something here. He could be just in fields like fantasy production, Kyler Murray, like fantasy production, but he can't make mistakes and turn it over and be so volatile or he's just going to lose the job again. So worth noting that last week may have been kind of the perfect storm for Jay Jay McCarthy to look really good. They're getting blown out by New Orleans, a god awful defense. Yeah. They have to throw it. And I was talking about this on NFL live yesterday with Dan Orlovsky and Andrew Hawkins and Adam Thiel. And they were like, you know, out there like what does Jay Jay have to lose? Like he's making some high variance throws. Yes. Last week that if the ball gets picked off, no one's going to say it's Jay Jay McCarthy's folder. They're going to say that Jay must dug them into this hole on the fantasy front. This is a stat courtesy of Tristan H. Cockroft, which is since 2021, there have been 13 relief performances of 15 or more fantasy points by the quarterbacks who eventually made a start again later that season. That group averaged 5.2 fewer fantasy points as starters and in said relief appearance. So it hasn't always predicted that this guy is ready for liftoff. He just needed an opportunity. Jay, I would say expectations should be tempered, even if it's a great opportunity for him to get his career back on track. Hey, just just feed it to likely a neighbors. That's right. That works. Get him the football. You could throw a couple picks. Same as what we said with James, same as what we said with Jacobi per set last year. Just keep feeding those guys. We're in business. Yeah. Honestly, Gigi McCarthy being valuable for us in fantasy football is wish number three because we want him to feed Malig neighbors and I say likely first and foremost before we even care about him at the quarterback spot. So another guy that is going to be potentially coming back this week. Mike Clay. Zach Sharbonay. Yeah. Back to Zach's coming. Mike's coming back. Yeah. I'm back. I've been gone for a while. Sharbonay looks pretty good that he's going to return this week. Yeah. I suspect that coming off a torn ACL during the playoffs last year, he'll be limited in this one. But you don't need a lot from him to pay off because he's been a touchdown machine. 21 touchdowns in his in 34 games over the last two seasons, he had 12 in 17 games last season. And remember, he wasn't very involved in the passing game last year. Just 20 catches, but he had 42 in 2024. So with the state of the running back situation Seattle right now and it is very generous to the running back position. This could be a very good spot for Sharbonay. So for this week, I view him as a flex option. If you're in a tough spot, which a lot of people are, he should be their lead running back. But I do suspect in this first game back, he will be limited. So I'm not getting too carried away just yet. Long term should be ready to go as a fantasy starter, very obvious. There's hesitation on wanting to start a guy coming back first week from the injury. But if you don't have another choice and it's the running back spot, then you may have to roll them. Yeah. I'm picking a Seattle running back. I'm still going to lean toward him because actually, they're using multiple guys in manual Wilson. Vailess Jones will probably be phased out now, Georgia, Lonnie and passing situations. But if I'm picking one at Sharbonay, unless there's a report that suggests, he's playing 10 snaps. Yeah. That's it. And then that changes. Thursday night, football, game, my friends, Patriots and the Bears. Quick update here. Kyle Menungai already ruled out in this one. We got two line up blocks from each side. Patriots Drake, May and AJ Brown, Bears, Deandre Swift and Luther Birdon, a couple of names I don't see on that list, guys. Let's go ahead and start with. And there is our Kyle Menungai news already ruled out for this game. Gonna miss his third straight game with a thumb injury and turf toe. That means that Roshan Johnson going to be the number two there again. Start with you, Mike. Why is Colson Lovelin out on the line applied this border line? I think that the reason he's not there is he's had one good game so far. So to you, we're in week seven, you've had one good fantasy game. Is that enough to lock him into your lineup? Probably not. Look, the first five games of the season, he had 24 fantasy points total last week, 18 and a half against the land. Of course, Caleb Williams came back and played well. The good news is, if you look really closely at Lovelin's usage this year, there's a lot of things that are positive for him looking forward. He leads all tight ends and snaps. He's fifth and end zone targets, but way down to 21st and receiving arts and as just one touchdown. So we have to put it all together here again, he's only hit 12 fantasy points in one game so far this season. And if you think back to when he's actually played with Caleb Williams earlier this year, weeks one and two, we had three arts and five targets. So again, I just don't want to get super, super carried away, especially against New England who, by the way, has allowed one tight end to eight fantasy points to season. It was some guy named Brock Bauer, yeah, exactly. He's the only one to get there. So again, close, he's my tight end seven, but he's leading a large tier of, of options you could fill in. I think you're probably starting him. I just don't want to call him a lock it. I just want to ask this question. So with you not wanting to call him a lock, do you have like a thought process? You've got him ranked as tight end seven projection is 11.5, but not a lineup lock. Is the lineup lock a number? Is it a ranking or is there like a whole back end thing that you put together all of this information? Yeah, it's sort of like if you're not sure the answers know, right? That's generally meant for a process with this. If a guy's ranked high enough, fine, like if you're QB4, you're, you know, you're obviously going to be a lineup lock that week because what are the odds you have to two top five at a position? Yes. But tight end seven, there's obviously some question marks. So you're saying the reason why it's not a probably choosing him over your other options, like a Dallas Godder or Dalton Concade or Kyle Pitz or someone like that, but maybe you're not. It's called. He hasn't earned that. He hasn't earned that status. It's a lineup lock. Not a lineup almost. And he's not a lineup lock yet. He's generally, if I'm like, if I'm like stuck, I'm like, yes, I put him in there, then it's generally no. Okay.
that it's a no. - I think it's like behind the curtain, I appreciate that. - What is it like when you're like, is this person a hall of famer if you have to like hesitate? - If you think about it too much, if you're like, I don't know, then the answer's no, right? Like usually, you know. - Is Eli Manning a hall of famer? - Definitely. - Yes. - I can't believe that one's a debate, by the way. - He is. - He's a two-time Super Bowl MVP. - Absolutely. - Like I think that one's an easy one. - I agree. - I understand that like within individual seasons, it was rare perhaps never that Eli Manning was like a top three quarterback in the NFL, but the aggregate of his career, to me, is an obvious. - And that's like I feel like in the early days of the NFL too, there's a lot of quarterbacks in all of famed who earned it by winning, you know. It's just, it's part of the deal. - Remember when he got bench for Geno Smith? - His streak got snapped by Ben McAdoo or Geno Smith. Wild times, let's talk about AJ Brown. - Let's do that. - AJ Brown, who is off the injury report, practiced in full. It was a short week for the Patriots. These are kind of more simulated practices for real full speed practices, but his ankle is no longer a thing that we are factoring into possible playtime. And honestly last week he played a lot too. Wasn't like AJ Brown returned last week and had 28% of the snaps. No, he played a lot last week. He had 10 of Drake May's 32 targets. The problem is he's played two games. One, which is just basically a half. The other, which is a full game. And he has three catches for 26 yards. And then he got better in week six with three catches for 27 yards. So my projection for him tonight is three catches for 28 yards. I kid because of course nobody wants that whatsoever, but we need AJ Brown to get going. As a matter of fact, there's really no excuse to not get going tonight. So the Patriots are down, Romeo Dobbs and Mac Hollins. You can say whatever you want about, I guess Mac Hollins and like how much of a factor he should be for fantasy football. But like Romeo Dobbs makes $17, $18 million a year. Like he's a legitimate part of this Patriots offense. He's out. Mac Hollins. He's out as well. The presumptive next men up at wide receiver are in some order. Pop Douglas, Kyle Williams and Efton Chisholm. They're down to four healthy wide receivers on the three man, on the 53 man roster in his bear team. I think that their mid pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers so far. We need to look very closely at what happened in weeks. Two, three and four for the bears. Week two, they played that game against the Vikings. It was in crazy, awful weather. Three and four, they were better defensively. But it was like that grinded out game against the Jets. It was not exactly a dominant masterpiece performance for this bear's defense against great teams. And we did see them a couple of weeks ago get torched by the Packers wide receiver duo. So I am not worried about this matchup. There's really no reason why AJ Brown shouldn't have a big night tonight. He's our top wide receiver 14. Mike is all the way down at wide receiver 16. - Wow. - Why do you hate him, Mike? - I do not. Do we really have Christian Kirk at 31 in our rankings? See that, are you guys really high on Christian Kirk? - That's a great question. I'll look at it. - Anyway. - I just caught out of it for a minute. - Were you watching the TV screen rather than listening to field analysis? - Yeah, I was. I just got distracted. No, I was listening and I walked up and I saw Christian Kirk rate in my face. I was like, okay, anyway. - All right. - We just have the projection. - Can I give you one more note? - Yes, please. - Back on the bear side. Didn't mention this. But Christian Gonzalez might be back for this game. We have to keep an eye on this one. He played this past week. - Christian Gonzalez did? - Yeah. - Oh yeah, he did. - You know what I'm doing? You know what I'm doing to my head? Mixing Pats or Tan might be back this week. They're both really good at what they do. - Yes, that's where my head is. I wanted to talk about Christian Gonzalez here. Total, there's two superstar corners, shadow corners that have been missing time with injury. So I apologize for that. Anyway, I want to talk about Christian Gonzalez because trying to figure out what he's going to do in this game, logically he would shadow. If he was playing better, Roma Dunezei would be for sure. He plays on the perimeter about 80% of the time. - Thank you, Will. - Gonzalez usually won't go into the slot. Luther Burton's 50/50. He's inside and out. But Burton has been the preferred target. So I think if you have Roma Dunezei and you're on the fence about using him and you're flexed, probably lean away because he's going to probably see Christian Gonzalez at least half the time. Luther Burton, I'm not as concerned, but he might see some of him in this game as well. So that's a tricky one. Usually they're a little easier to figure out. This is a tough one for sure. - Christian Kirk, why do you say we're 48 for what it's worth? - Okay. Michael, Collie Freyman famously went to which college? - Holy cross. - Nice! - I made it! - Let's go! - Is that right? - Yes, that's why I picked Collie Freyman 'cause I knew we went to Hollywood. - What a doubt, Jalen Kusser went there too? Is that right? - Okay, I'm gonna be there. - All right. - Any other Holy Cross NFL players? - No. - Absolutely no. - I don't think he knew the first three. - If he thought it's a Holy Cross. - If you're like, if you ask me where someone went to school, I just assume it's Holy Cross. - That's amazing. - Give me anyone. Who are you digging in this game, guys? - Michael? - Patriots. - That's all right. - It's in Chicago, right? - It is. - Give me the bears. - I'm taking the Patriots in this one. - Oh, the producers are going with the bears. - Very, very fun game. - Yeah, that's gonna be fun one. - Think about some of our recent Thursday night football games. Remember, back in week three, it was Falcons versus Packers, which now looks a little better, but at the time it was really the Falcons on Thursday night. Then we've had subsequent games like the Steelers and Browns, which also might be a better game that we thought of at time, but it wasn't exactly, that was week two. That was a good one. Some are more recent. - More recent. Sorry. - Yeah, it was a good game, but for our purposes, not fun at all, right? Other than the JSN, it was just a bunch of offensive wasteland. - Yes. - Tonight could be a fun one, two of the best young, maybe the two best quarterbacks, best young quarterbacks in the league? - Ooh. - Starting from a short list. Definitely. - If you are building a roster for the next 10 years. - Yes. - And Jared Goff has already been drafted. - Yes. - Who are the first two picks? - Tanner McKee. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Drafting into you. Okay, so I think. - The next 10 years. - I mean, do you get the five great years? - Yeah. - I still think Josh Allen or Patrick Holmes. - Yeah. - Yeah. - Or do you? - Okay. - I still think I would lean that way. - Ooh. - Some of it would have to do with what the rest of your team looks like, I guess. - It's a sort of stance, but. - I liked race. - I think I liked race. - So we're restarting. It's like I'm restarting. - I'm mad at franchise draft. - Yeah. - These guys are at least in the conversation for a 10-year snapshot. - Are there any of the quarterbacks that you just projected to be drafted next year that you would take over any of these guys? - Not yet. - Not yet. - All right. All right. You know what else is always fun, guys? I've never been there, but Mike tells me Paris is a lot of fun. Let's go there and ask. - It's over there right now. I've not been there before. - That's true. Interesting times over there right now. Let's talk about Steelers and Saints right now going on in France, line-up locks in this one, Jalen Warren, DK Metcalf, Jimmy Bernard. On the Saints side, it is just Chris Olave right now, guys. Mike, let's talk about Jimmy Bernard. I can't believe it's been two weeks. We've seen him basically for two weeks and he's already worked his way into the line-up block conversation. - Yeah. It's hard to argue with his utilization. - We've seen him from the two weeks, but yeah. - Good games. - Yeah. No doubt. Yeah. We've seen him usually as just a situational player, but now he's a clear starter, a clear go-to player. Caught 11 of 12 targets last week for 80, 70 yards in a touchdown. The week before it's 6 for 80, on nine targets. So we're talking 21 targets over two games and by no means is this a fluke. No one's coming back to steal the targets away. He's going to be a featured target. And he's a full-timers, is route participation the last two weeks is 85 percent. His target share is 28 percent. He is a short-range target, which we don't mind in PPR is 8.4.9 this season. We might not see any like big explosive plays, but that short area stuff is going to be huge for PPR and really give him a high floor. So I feel really good about him in season long in DFS. I talked about how the Steelers love to throw the ball near the goal line. If the highest touchdown rate through the air this season at 92 percent, the highest expected touchdown rate. So that's not a fluke. Sometimes it'll be a little fluke. You'll throw a lot near the goal line and then run it in and it'll throw the numbers off. But that is not in the case. Steelers love throwing the ball. And by the way, the team that allowed all of those yards through the air in the second half last week to JJ McCartney was the team that Bernard's facing here. That's right. New Orleans Saints 250 yards to Giants receivers last week. It wasn't just Malik neighbors. So good matchup, good situation, trust of Aaron Rodgers, everything you want in a fantasy starter. So it locked in. He's line up. Yeah, agree there. Well said, Mike. And by the way, in a year and maybe this is being a prisoner to the moment, where do you guys think this year ranks relative to recent years in waiver wire pickups? It was awful. Lower than lesser than I feel like it's been the, I feel like it's been ugly the last couple of years though. So it's been really, really gross this year. But during Bernard, a rare waiver wire jam now, it's only been two weeks. So maybe he fades back into sort of fantasy relevance, but he has been a big time revelation for those of us that got him off the waiver wire to kind of take Mike's points a step further. Aaron Rodgers very much inside the top 10 of quarterbacks for this week. Jalen Warren also very highly ranked amongst running backs, the Saints for as bad as they have been against opposing wide receivers and tight ends and quarterbacks. They have been the worst team in the NFL in terms of limiting opposing running backs fantasy points. And that, by the way, came with the Giants doing diddly squat, I changed that up from diddly poo a couple days ago. Last week on the ground. So the Saints have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs per game. They're a little better against quarterbacks 18th. But that's mostly because the Saints team is just so dreadful against running backs. But Jalen Warren who seeded some work to Rico Dowdell last week, still going to be the focal point of this Steelers running game and Aaron Rodgers Mike mentioned it. They throw so dang much near the goal line. Boats well for a run against the Saints team over in Perry, Perry, I'm going to take the Saints in this one. Guys, what about you? I got the Steelers. I have the Steelers as well. I think most everyone's going to have the Steelers. I decided to have a little bit of fun and go with the two and four team. Oh, look at our producers also have this would be pretty on brand. and for the story to lose this game, it would be.
brand for the producers to pick the Saints, because that checks out biased. Next game we have here. This one might be a little quicker. Browns and tight. Yep. Line of blocks. Denzel Boston and Carnell. Those guys, all right. They're going to be a long time fantasy starters, hopefully. Yes. Look in the parts so far in both cases. Let's talk about both of them really quickly, because they're the only lineup blocks in this game. They both fall on that wide receiver 25 to 30 range for us this week as a flex option. Denzel Boston, at least 12 and a half fantasy points, in four to six games, but just limited volume. He's topped out at seven targets. We don't love that part. Obviously, you can see there's not a huge amount of work for him. Unfortunately, but he does have six end zone targets. Second, most amongst wide receivers, which you do love. He's kind of get this boom bust profile because of the offense he plays in and to Sean Watson at quarterback. I don't think it's him, but his boom weeks haven't been huge. Even he's had one week over 14 fantasy points. So still the clearest connection with anyone there. Titans are allowing the sixth most receiving yards to wide receivers. The fourth most completions to the position. They're also allowing the highest completion percentage. 75% of passes being thrown to wide receivers are being completed against this. That is unbelievable. Denzel Boston is on the flex radar with a good matchup and that end zone role that we have. Anything you guys want to talk about with Denzel Boston for I talk about Colonel take. Go for it. Colonel take Houston game two weeks ago was a wreck. I just want to throw it out, but it's still in my mind because it bothers me. I just want to say that. Two last week was so much better though. Six for 70 and a touchdown 19 fantasy points at least 11 and a half in three of his last four games to those games. He had over 19 points and at least seven targets in three of those four games. This is the difference between him and Denzel Boston. He's a 26 and a half percent target share. Denzel Boston has a 19.9 percent target share. Very different here. Browns have a much stiffer past defense against the wide receiver position, but they've allowed seven touchdowns to the wide receivers position so far this year. So he is also on the flex radar. The only two guys. Yeah. Colonel Tate. I think is ranking week to week is much more of a reflection of the matchup and your confidence in cam ward. Yep. I'm pretty convinced that Colonel Tate is a stud. I think he's a better rider. He's going to be. Yeah. Like if you put him in a different offense, we'd be like, wow, Colonel Tate's wide receiver. Nine this week. Yep. Obviously it would have to be the correct offense, but I think this guy's got all the goods to be an awesome, awesome player, a valuable piece of your dynasty roster. A little bit less so for redraft this season, maybe the most intriguing players in this game though. The two defenses involved seriously. So the for those that are interested in other streaming or already have these defenses lined up. Good job by you because the Browns have allowed 24 sacks this season. That's the most in the NFL. This Titans defense can rush the pass or they got lots of invested resources there. So the Titans defense definitely on our radar. The Browns defense also on our radar as well. The Browns have even without miles here, it's still plenty of defensive pieces that are intriguing. And while the sack number for Cleveland so far this year, okay. And Kim Ward has actually been okay in terms of protecting the ball. The Titans are last in points per game in yards per game in the NFL. So you know, obviously you start with 10 points and default scoring at espn.com. You get positive points for things like sacks, interceptions, and turnovers forced. You get negative points when you start to when the teams are to chip away, both in terms of points and yards, don't have to worry a whole lot about that with Titans because they don't do much offensively week in and week out. So the Browns in the Titans defenses, two of my favorites for this week. We've done that. We haven't talked defenses like that in a long time. So well, you know, Mike, I feel like when we were talking about at the beginning of the season and even before the season, we were kind of mapping out how we wanted to do our Thursday and Friday shows. And it's like we want to do the game by game previews. And we're going to have some games. The bills put the lions on Thursday night. Lots to talk about there, but it'll be offset when the Browns put the Titans. Yes. Games like that. And we have arrived. So that's why we're here. Titans for week seven. Yeah. It's good to talk about defenses, but also not great for these offenses. We're talking about defenses. So Browns rostered in 50. Oh, sorry, Browns available in 45% of leagues Titans defense available in 80% of league. So if you want either of those two, I'm a streamer of the of the defenses. So all for it, I have plenty of these defenses this week. I am taking the Browns in this one for our buddy Keith Lipskin. What about you? I am sorry, Keith. I'm taking the Titans. Oh my gosh. Give me the Browns. Four and two. I'm getting it done. All right. Producer's taking the Titans in this one. Our producer, David. Huge Titans. He is. Let's dive into the mailbag here a little bit. Shout out to our buddy Eric Moody. Follow him on social media at Eric and Moody. First question we have is from Sir Benardicus for the Flex spot. You going with Michael Mayer or Jordan Mason. Guys, we're going to talk about Mason a little later on in the show. I am going with Jordan Mason because of the guarantee touches and the Rams job so far against supposing Titans. But I have also been so wrong every time I have started Michael Mayer this year. But now that you're not going to start them. Correct. This is the week. He goes out. That's yeah. I'm leaning Mason at the running back position. Turkey though. Like I will be he be limited in his return for my R. But I feel like broken hand. It's like you just play. Yeah. I think he'll be busy enough. Yeah. I would go Mason as well. I think he has more touchdown equity. Um, this question. I lose wants to know. Pick one for the Flex. Zach Charbonne. Pat Friar Mooth or Malik Washington. Hmm. Washington's such a fascinating player. He has been heavily targeted. He's like a 27% target share. But in that offense, which has had a hard schedule as well. It's been low volume. It hasn't translated that much. But usually I got with that target shares a lineup block every week. But not going that direction. I think I'm going to go hate to say it. But I'm going Friar Mooth. Unless we get some better insight on Charbonne's role in this. I'm too nervous that he's going to be limited in his first game back. He tours ACL. And what was it? Dislead December. January January. It would have been. I think that's tough with both of them. With Zach Charbonne, you're chasing touchdowns, right? You can hope any fault because he's not going to get a lot of pass catching work. He's probably not going to run. I would assume you'd be limited coming back. Pat Friar Mooth, you're also chasing touchdowns. Like you're hoping he gets in the end zone. Luckily he plays the Saints secondary. So like there is a shot him and air Rogers. I think I would go with Pat Friar Mooth too because of that. It doesn't feel great. But I'm just going with the hopefully what feels like the floor. I'm going. Charbonne is. Are you? Barberney. Yep. Okay. All right. All right. Next question. This one comes from Gibby 36. Rocheon or Algier in my knockout league. I'm on the fringe of being eliminated. Good to know. It's a knockout league. Yeah. Gibby, I think you got a whole tight here and expect Tyler Algier to be the starting running back on Sunday. I think so too. Assuming love is out. I'm going to I left love in the projections for the moment, but he didn't practice yesterday. If he remains out today, he will be zeroed out today. What a shame. What a shame. Maybe. I mean, I mean, I mixed feelings to someone who's heavily invested in Jeremiah love. I kind of want him to get back to 100% because what Matt Lafleur is saying is positive that like, yeah, he's going to be a big part of the passing game. He just couldn't cut. So if that's true, and they're going to have a utilize them in the beginning of the season, maybe he just wasn't healthy enough for it. I don't know. That's what I'm saying. Maybe it's why do they not rest him? Right after I got hurt. Trust me. I let him get to back to on. I don't disagree with that at all, but I'm hoping it gives me some hope that maybe he just hasn't been healthy. Algier's the answer. We agreed. Jay Phillips wants to know Waddle or Wix guys. Oh, gross. Waddle. I'm still going to stick with Waddle. Me too. I'm sick on the bottle. I'm hoping they turned it around. They're schedule. Remember, they're scheduled. It's been brutal so far. So it's possible. They unlock moving forward. It is and they need to and let's just kind of just quickly read you the Broncos upcoming games. Give it to me because this is the reason for optimism. They play Arizona this week. You like that one better, right? The Chiefs the Fallen week. You don't like that one. Panthers, Raiders, Steelers, don't love that dolphins, Jets, Raiders, Bills. That's pretty good right there. Yeah, especially compared to where we have been. So that will be the only reason for optimism surrounding any Broncos offensive. In terms of defensive EPA, they go from the hardest schedules of heart of the six easiest the rest of the way. Like that. All right. Let's move ahead. Talk about Bengals and Ravens. We got some big news in this one. We're going to start with the line up blocks. Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, T Higgins, Jamar, Chase, all of the Bengals. For the other side, it is Derek Henry and Zay flowers. You do not see Lamar Jackson on there. Lamar is still dealing with an ankle injury suffered in week four against the Titans. He was limited in practice on Wednesday. Yes. So we will some optimism. Yes. Feels better than it was with a DNP, but it's something we're going to continue to update will monitor you on his set. We will update you on his status as we monitor it tomorrow. Someone who was there reported that after that. He was kind of just showing him walking around limping. Yeah. So that makes that makes me nervous. Makes me think he's probably on the pessimistic side for this week. Yeah. We don't bizarre. It's always an interesting return from injury from Lamar. That sure is. It's never just like, hey, he suffered a turf toe. He's going to be out for two weeks and he returns the following week. No. It's just always feels like we get limited information and there are times where you feel like he's coming back. And then no, not coming back. JK. JK Kiting. Confusing one. It's the least. Mike, how do you feel about Zay flowers? We don't really do wide receiver cornerback matchups the way we used to although it's an unbelievable one. They pop up exactly when they're clear cut. Is this one of those situations? Yeah. It's one of those. It's one of those some things we haven't done much. You're, you ready? It's time. Roll it. Back. That is not where we're going. We weren't trying to pull that up. Nope. There it is. The shadow man. Is that a sick name? DJ Turner. The second shadow man. All right. Let's talk about who Zay flowers is going to
see and coverage this week is this is kind of fascinating. We know a good look at full screen. Yeah. Oh, thank you. Thank you. I had nothing to do with it. I just sent the stats in and they designed it. Uh, let's talk about this. So, uh, so far this season, DJ Turner has shadowed in five games. He's done a pretty good job. He faced a mechobuca. He had 11.3 points. He faced DK Metcalfeat 12.1 points and not just against Turner. This is the whole game. Parker Washington. Remember that bad game? Parker Washington. That sure do. He was shadowed by DJ Turner in that game at just two points. If we go back to last year, we talked about Turner, basically every week. He shadowed 14 times those receivers averaged 8.8 fantasy points per game in those games. Two of those 14. Where's a flowers? First game, seven targets, two catches, six yards. Wow. Second game, he did get loose for a touchdown. In that game, it was not against Turner, but he got loose for a touchdown, three for 68 and a touch and a touchdown on just five targets in that one. So he had, a total of 12 targets and a total of five catches in those two games now. Flowers is aligning in the slot more this season. So the only see Turner about half the time when he's on the perimeter. However, the Bengals this season have yet to allow a single wide receiver to get to 15 fantasy points. So all around, they've been shutting down some really good wide receivers. Uh, I know how good flowers has been this year. Maybe this is just information you need to lower expectations. Maybe avoid and DFS this week. Sure. Uh, but obviously he's aligned a block and see and, you know, redraft sees a long league. So, uh, really fascinating matchup for this week is, uh, flowers versus CJ Turner. I don't like it. I'm still going to start Z flowers for what I can't not, but I'm definitely understanding where you're just. Hey, if you're looking at the stop line, you're like, oh, quiet day for Z flowers. Here's your explanation. If you didn't hit 15 fan, or if someone hasn't hit 15 fantasy points as a wide receiver against them yet, would I put my chips on it happening without Lamar Jackson, probably not, but I would still have to start Z flowers given how good Z flowers is. You know what? All of that information tells me DJ Turner is the most underrated player in the NFL. Cause I don't talk about him enough. Like it just a permanently under discussed player who I don't believe has been has received all pro or proble accolades up to this point in his career. It's wild to me. That quarterback market exploded this off season, right? The likes of Christian Gonzalez and Devon Witherspoon and Derek Stingley and Pat Sir Tan amongst others, making crazy, you know, great money, 30 million plus per year. DJ Turner belongs in that conversation. I mean, that is just ridiculous. What he has done. That's a hard assignment. Like we're not talking about him just holding down big physical perimeter wide receivers. You've got guys playing in the slot, smaller, twitchier guys, bigger, more physical guys, shout out to the most underrated player in the NFL and fantastic him for me. I try to make a push on social at the end of last year. He's posting all of this stuff about him and who he's been assigned to and how well he's done and try to get him some attention. So hopefully you'll get that one contract season comes up for him. It's already here. This is the year, right? This is it. Oh, he's been extension eligible since this off season. Oh, that's what I mean. Better make it happen now when they do it. Yeah. Yeah. Point. Yeah. Field. Um, can I, may I touch your face really fast? You can touch my face, but can I ask you about Chase Brown while you do? Do I have a eyelash? Yes, you do. You want to make a wish? Was it that Chase Brown is going to be good at football again? I hope that's what you wished. You're not supposed to say what you wish. No, no, you didn't say what you wished. Okay, I said we can wish, which I'm pretty sure it was Chase Brown. He's a good at football again, but let's talk about him really quickly. Here's the good on Chase Brown running back six and targets, guys, running back five in receptions, plays for the Bengals. He was invited to Joe Burrow's Christmas party last year. Is that right? Yes. Those are the good things. I invited you guys to my Christmas party last year. Yeah. You did. You all times. That's right. Here's a bad things. Everything else that I didn't mention, basically, all of the rushing stuff, terrible efficiency. Only one rushing touchdown got vultured by some Ajay P Ryan last week. And it's a really difficult matchup running back 18 points per game and 71% of the snaps this year. You like that, actually. He's RB nine, but against Baltimore, they've a lot yet to allow running back to hit 20 fantasy points, only three running backs have topped 9.5 fantasy points against them so far this year. And unfortunately, with the way that this team is utilizing him and also like some Ajay P Ryan coming in just enough, it just feels like unless he gets in the end zone and gets three or four receptions because there is so little rushing efficiency right now, you're just sort of wish casting that he gets either receiving game work or a touchdown. So Chase Brown, because he plays for the Bengals and all the things that we know he can be and the upside of what his skill set is still going to be an RB two for us, but it does not feel nearly as fun as it has been in years prior. Well, this time last year, we were paying a king about him a little bit. Remember? We were. And then he rushed to go. Burrow was out for a chunk of that, but he got rolling. I mean, I think Burrow was still out when he started to heat up. And then he was outstanding the rest of the year. So maybe Wolf's follow a similar timeline. I'm not really worried because it's not like you have some second round rookie in waiting in the wings to take over here. No, it's him and Smajay P Ryan. And we know his, his ceilings kind of low as a journeyman, like it's been around. He's an important part of that offense, but he's not going to steal that job away. Chase Brown's not going anywhere. He feels good offense. Feel safe. We've just lowered our expectations a little bit until we see him start to. Yeah. All right. Who are you taking into this game? Bengals are who that I flipped with no Lamar when I pulled Lamar out. I moved to the big. So I think Bengals get it done. Fair weather fan. Snip snap. Snip snap. Not fair. Weather. Just Lamar Jackson's not blank. He's one of the biggest line moving quarterbacks in the NFL. Like, you know, an elite quarterback goes out that's going to move the line a lot. It's not like a receiver running back something like that. All right. Love that. Hey, when you at your house, do you have a flat screen TV that you can just push into the wall just to give yourself some extra space? I do not do. I have a little one. Yeah. Okay. It's an. You did the office. I thought that's where you were going. That's that's all. All right. Let's do the next one guys. They're not all winners. Don't worry about it. Dolphins and Jets Mike knows that from his dad jokes. Of course he does. I know it from the office. How do you know? You may recognize that they're all being are no lineup blocks on this one for the Miami Dolphins right now. We'll talk about them in a little bit for the other side. We got Garrett Wilson and Breeze Hall. Breeze Hall did not practice on Wednesday for what is worth going to continue to monitor that situation. Just something to keep an eye on. But if we don't have him, probably going to have the same running back. We've had the last couple of weeks with Braylon Allen and really busy. Good matchup. Good opportunity for Braylon Allen. If he is, in fact, the starting running back for the dolphins, but I for the Jets against the dolphins, I wanted to discuss quickly and maybe just give some praise to all the Gordon who when he became the starting running back, I think we all kind of had the same collective feeling. It was like, yeah, it's fine. And like he's a starting running back. And you should be adding him if you have waiver priority, but this will not be anything close to divine a chance peak. It's been pretty good though so far back to back to back games. He has been the starter. 17 for 41 in the touchdown. 9 for 100 in the touchdown. 18 for 88 in the touchdown. Five yards per carry. The vulnerability is games in which they're going to get blown out and they just try to throw the football, which feels like most of them, but not this game against the Dolph of the Jets. So I'm okay with all the Gordon this week as a borderline top 20. She's number 20. Exactly for me and my rankings. Yeah, I agree. I want to talk about a wide receiver for the Jets. We talked about during waiver, wire, Omar Cooper Jr. I think guys, this is kind of an if them because 80 Mitchell has a chance to return in this game. And if he does, I just don't know if there's going to be enough consistent volume for Omar Cooper to hang on the, what do you smile about? You said, I think this is an if then, if he doesn't play, I think we're in a different situation. You should have been like then the whatever, but you like clearly made it. Okay. Yeah. Okay. If 80 Mitchell is active for this game, Omar Cooper not startable. No, then then Omar Cooper is not. You still have to say the word then. Then I not say that. No, you did. If 80 Mitchell returns this week, then there we go. They're just charm nailed it. You know, I was better at math than all this words stuff in school. I think that's not what you do for a living. No, I don't. I mostly the number of guys just try to translate it to words. Omar. Okay. If 80 Mitchell returns, I'm not starting any of these. Then I'm not. Then I'm not for you, brother. They're very Wilson. If 80 Mitchell remove. Do you want some relief? I know. Hey, here we go. I'm my clay for take over. If 80 Mitchell plays, then I am not starting Omar Cooper. Yes. 80 Mitchell is out. Then Omar Cooper gets some boost onto the flex radar. Love it. Nailed it. You're professional right there. You know, you know, words and stuff. Who are you taking? Well, a couple of things I went also. Okay. Okay. Okay. Garrett Wilson was shadowed by Gonzalez. We just talked, Christian Gonzalez. We just talked about last week. So that obviously inflated Cooper a little bit. Also, the jets go from the second easiest to the second hardest wide receiver schedule going forward. And that includes this week that all offense teams don't have to throw against them. They're able to run the football. They faced a few as wide receiver targets. If only a two touchdowns, a third few as fantasy points to the position. Only three receivers. They've even hit double digit fantasy points against him so far. Only two even got to 12. They were Rishi Rice and Jamar Chase. They're they're both the number ones. They're not secondary receivers. So I'm pessimist. The Cooper is going to go back to back here. Fair. Okay. Who are you going to take in this game? Jay D. S. I'm taking the jets as well. But our producers getting frisky here thinking the dolphins. We have some of my money. I don't think we have any dolphins fans. Oh, that's right. Our producer, Zach is a jets fan. This is almost like reverse. And I like it. All right. All right. All right. All right. Let's talk about Colton Vikings. Minnesota Vikings Indianapolis Colts. We got one lineup block for the Vikings. Justin Jefferson. We have one lineup.
lock for the Colts. That's Jonathan Taylor. I want to talk about the running backs for the Vikings. If you guys don't mind, not a bit, because we're going to see. Okay. We're going to have Jordan Mason coming back right now. He's still on IR was a full-going practice on Wednesday. Had that thumb injury, but it gives him a really good shot. He has to be activated in order to come back. So we're going to keep watching that. Here's what's happened so far, this season for the running back situation with Jordan Mason, both here and not here. Week one, he had 15 touches scored 11.9 fantasy points. Solid. Aaron Jones had 12 touches, scored 10 fantasy points. Then he went out. Weeks two through five. This is what Aaron Jones had. 23 touches, 23 touches, 24 touches, 28 touches. That's not going to continue here. It's probably going to have to go back to the split that we saw in week one. By the way, going into week two, this is basically exactly what we said would happen. They're just run Aaron Jones into the ground for four weeks and then Mason will come back and they'll take off the pressure and that's what's going to happen here. So because of that, I think we've all got Jones still as right now. I guess the lead back. He'd be a guy right outside the top 24 us Jordan Mason just inside the top 30. Colts have given up two games of 35 plus fantasy points to running back so far this year. They've also given up over 23 fantasy points to Ken Walker, the third. And then they played a bunch of really bad rushing teams in the Texans, Titans and commanders. So it's not a bad situation for these guys, but I think we're just lowering expectations knowing that it is going to be a committee at this point and not just the Aaron Jones show. Yeah. There was a lot of Jordan Mason hype during the preseason that this guy was ready to go to the next level and actually be the lead back here. The problem is even if he gets 15 or 16 carries, I'm really pessimistic. He sees more than one or two targets at the most. I mean, this has just never been a guy that's been involved in the passing game. So much like a think, think, Jacori Kroski merit. The first five weeks of the season, I think his role is going to be something like that, which if look, if game scripts are positive for them and they're the defense still playing well and they're ahead a lot, that could benefit him and get it could be enough for him to be a viable flex option. But I think it might be a little like the floor will be low. If he has 12 for 40, you know, touchdown and one catch for six yards, you might get games like that from Jordan Mason. We're going to get Mason coming back for these Colts on the other side of this Tyler Warren did not practice on Wednesday. We saw that last week in Keenan Allen continued to sort of eat in that role without Tyler Warren there. Yeah. I have some optimism with Alan just as a floor flex play right now on PPR formats. Last week season high in targets with 11 catches with eight and yardage with 82 against the Titans. He has nine or more targets in all three games. And Tyler Pierce went on IR. So the volume's been really good to 25% Sherry's averaging just a hair under 15 fantasy points per game. Much like Jeremy Bernard, who I talked about earlier is averaged up the target unsurprisingly very low under eight yards. But and there's not going to be a lot of scoring opportunities here in this Colts offense. He only has one end zone target this season. So that's going to limit his ceiling. Now you're going up against Minnesota. Obviously they've been brutal. And they wide receivers have been brutal against Minnesota this season given a lot of receiver to hit 12 fantasy points in the games. It's week one when both Packers, the Packers top duo Golden and Watson did it. So this maybe isn't the week. I feel strongly about him as a flex, but going forward, at least so pierced his back. I think he's going to be very much in that conversation. Like it. Who you on? Who are you taking in this one guys? I am sticking with the Vikings. Yeah. I don't I'm taking the Vikings as well. I wish I wasn't producer. They are having themselves a week. I like it. This is on there in term GM. So maybe the motivates that team a little bit. All right. We got some Rahim Sanders. Sorry. We got 49ers and Falcons. My fault on this one, friends. I didn't realize that we did, but we're going to go with it. Okay. Brock Perty, Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle lineup blocks for the 49ers. Let's talk about the Atlanta Falcons, B. John Robinson and Drake London. We'll have a little bit of fun with this one. I got it. Anyone else from the wide receiver spot for the 49ers? We would want to consider knowing the Mike Evans situation after Mike Evans got hurt, which was at the end of the first half. How many caches do you think the Niners wide receivers combined for in the second half on Monday night? 17. The Niners say that I said again, after Mike Evans got hurt, which was basically the last play of the first half. Yes. How many catches did the rest of the Niners receivers have for the rest of the 17? Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. I was close. It was obvious what the answer was. So here are the Niners wide receivers that are still healthy right now or at least partially healthy or trending towards being healthy. If Mike has a lot of caveats. A lot of the Niners, a lot of caveats. I like the conversation earlier. If you have to ask, they were probably. If Mike Evans plays, it's obvious you're going to play Mike Evans. It seems so pragmatic for a team that has applied next week for a player that's been playing through so much. I'm assuming he's out. You just, you got to take the bigger picture approach here. Yeah. The next man up Christian Kirk, assuming he plays, Jordan Watkins, fourth round pick out of Ole Miss a year ago. Jacob Calling, fourth round pick out of Arizona, you're prior to that. That's it pretty much. Brandon Cooks. Yeah. Brandon Cooks now too. That's pretty desolate right there in terms of Niners wide receivers. So despite the fact the Brock party is awesome. And despite the fact that Mike Evans vacates what, 20 plus percent target share. It's been closer to 30 last few weeks. How can you feel good about starting any Niners wide receiver in this magic Niners secretly on upset alert for me? Let me ask you guys this question. I think the answer is going to be very obvious with Brock powder, Brock, having, having fewer wide receivers. Does that impact the way that you're approaching him in fantasy football this week? Or is he still a top five? I'll tell you one word or two words Kyle Shanan here. I just gets the most at everyone as passing games are sometimes I'm like, I think Brock party is legit good and so is Kyle Shanan, but sometimes I'm like, I don't really know because this guy gets the most at a, is he an average player who Shanan makes look like a Hall of Famer or is he actually a great player with a great coach, much like the Brady Bella checker. Yeah. Are we in on Kyle Pits being able to be an option? I know that we talked earlier this week, right? Earlier this show, Colson Loveland, not a lineup block. I'm assuming Kyle Pits also not a lineup block, but they both went off last week. Michael, making us feel good. Yeah. This is every time he pulls us back in. Let's just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back every time. Look, his first three games guys. He had 20 yards on six targets, two catches for 20 yards and six targets is first three games this week. But then week four, three for 47 and just three targets here. Like I were still in trouble. Correct. But then five for 42 and a touchdown. Yes. Six targets. So now we're talking. And then last week, five for 60 and two touchdowns on seven targets. The route participation has been all over the place this season, but it has steadied out now the last two weeks when the receiving lines have been good with Michael Pentax. Under center, he played a season I and snaps. Last week, his playing time is still not where I was down to stretch last season when he was, of course, number two and scoring at tight end. But I do feel positive about this connection. He's building here with Michael Pentax. Now, they're playing the 49ers. The 49ers have all had zero touchdowns and the fourth few is fantasy points. The tight ends, Ray McBride and last week, Chico Conquo and come back mode. They're the only two tight ends to hit five fantasy points against this team this season. So Kyle Pitz is trending the right way. We had him at rank like 30 at the couple weeks. He's up to 12 for me. That's not enough to call him anything close to a line of block. I'd probably weighed another week, but he should be back on roster. I love what happened last week, getting the two touchdowns, but we didn't get any touchdowns and very little production of B. John Robinson. We don't expect that to continue. And we got very little touchdown upside from Drake London last week. There's a good shot that you lose that. Both of them had zero touchdowns. Drake has zero all season. Drake doesn't have any touchdowns this year. I don't want guys. We got to fix that. We do. Yeah. Who you taking in this? When you're going to take the 49ers, you're going to take the Falcons taking the Niners, but I think the Falcons could. I think the Niners are on upset alert. I'm taking the Falcons, baby. Wow. There you go. I know. The classic going across the country. One PM kickoff. Oh, he's a tough spot. Yeah. Although the Niners are always there. But sure, I don't remember the last time they weren't short handed. Short week. Yeah. One o'clock kick. Yeah. If ever there was a dime, probably 2007, maybe week 15, 2007 was the last time they were not short handed. I need to get out of the business of doubting Kyle Shana because I'm always like, I don't know. The roster's good, but not great. Everyone's hurt. And they still just keep winning alert. We're not, we're not guaranteeing anything. We're just all learning, learning. Yeah. Come on, Michael. All right. Let's dive into now our Raheem Sanders monopoly fund. Here's our week seven picks. Okay. I'm going to go with Tutu at well, 0.2% roster. No one says touchdowns like Tutu. Nothing. I finished your thought. That was the end of my thought. That's it. Mike, that was a very concerned. All right. I'll go say, all right. Here's why because I picked mine and then I wanted to pivot, but it was too late. I already had my Neiman, but the producers picked who I wanted to talk about will Mallory just stepped right in last week for Tyler Warren. It was he ran like 30 pass routes in that game. Wow. So that is a great call by the producer shout out. That is exactly what I would have picked. Had I already removed Tyler Warren from my, from my, from the projections and from my rankings. But I went with Breven, span forward, who was the starting tight end for the Dallas Cowboys last week started a 15 routes on 33 snaps. Joke Farderson's who he replaced. He had five targets. That was two more than what Joke Farderson saw in that game as fourth most on the team hasn't scored yet, but quietly is 11 targets, which is a healthy number for a tight end. And by the way, he has one career touchdown came against the Eagles in early last season. By the way, the Eagles are Breven, span forward is generally usually is a depth tight end, right? He was still behind Joke Farderson in routes last week, but the Eagles gave up two touchdowns last week. They were both two.
not the number one pass catching tie done for the Panthers. Tommy Tremble, a two touchdowns in the game. So I'm just saying, uh, span Ford, very fascinating player who got an extension not long ago from Dallas. They like to play her a lot. I would have saved that for the week. They put the Lions. Yeah, I would have to. Breven span Ford field. Yes. By the way, Breven span Ford famously went to which college, Michael. Oh, he crossed Minnesota. Oh, yeah. What about you? Um, Michigan before he transferred to Minnesota because of injury. You wouldn't know. Most of us knew that. Yeah. Uh, my guy has 10 targets over the past two weeks. Oh, some of it in mop of duty, but jail in Brooks. Oh, yeah. And you watch the Cardinals and you're like, let's make some Marvin Harrison Jr. happen. Well, he's now a Houston Texan. Let's make some more Michael Wilson. Oh, not so much Michael Wilson recently. Uh, so it's Kendrick born in jail in Brooks, jail in Brooks. Where's number 86? And he might have 86 receiving yards in a touchdown on Sunday. That's my prediction. I like it. I like to be dense. I like there are four long shots for the week. Before we close things out, France field brought together a little bit of a list for us, a listicle fantasy focused top 10. What is our list field? Our list is the top 10 coaches in sports. This is very football influenced that you want to have a beer with. Oh, okay. All right, all right. All right. Sovy B. Whatever you're preferred. Yes. Never just a cider. Michael, the sudden propped up as soon as you said that. I'll be your guy. So I suck with beer. Number 10, Kurt Signetti. Love this guy. Current head coach at Indiana. If you don't know, about him, Google me. Uh, this guy wins wherever he goes, tough to feed this past week against Ohio State. But what I love about Signetti is this guy is no BS. He calls it how he sees it. I can imagine how unfiltered he would be with a couple of brusquies in him. I would love that. Kurt Signetti. Kind of like Mike. Yeah. You guys, you couldn't imagine how unfiltered Michael's ones. He gets a couple of softies. His projections are good now. His post sovy B projections are just that good. Number 10. What am I not fun today? I had a class of sovy a couple of glasses this morning, but we can tell when you're doing the at that statement. Number nine, that checks out actually. Mike Tom one. This one's probably pretty self self explanatory. You might find minecraft. I want to put minecrap together with Mike Tomlin, but he's one of the great quotes of all time. And just seems like the kind of guy that's very, I mean, this is a sign of respect. Like just sort of an ordinary guy, right? Like he can have relatable conversations despite the fact that he was at the time, the youngest head coach to ever win a Super Bowl and had incredible success with the Pittsburgh dealers. Great guy. Love that. That's number nine. Number eight. Jerry Glanville. This was one of the original characters back in the day in the NFL coaching world. NFL college. He's 85 and he's still coaching. He's with I believe a UFL team right now is like a defensive consultant or offensive consultant. Wow. Memory serving. I think he was the University of Hawaii head coach at one point. Yes. I have the day as well. Yeah. Remember that for real. Yeah, because I was at Hawaii. I look away. There we go. Okay. All right. So I'm not misremembering. No. Okay. Jerry Glanville. Awesome. Awesome character. So if you don't know much about him, go do a deep dive on Jerry Glanville's career. Number seven. Any screen. Any green. I was back in the day. Yeah. It's you mentioned something yesterday. It was like the anniversary of Jim Morris. I thought it was just the end of the 20 year of this ramp as well. Yep. What is the ramp? The you're to me. They are who we thought they were. That was great. Back in the day. We let him off the hook. Another I these are all characters. These are characters. You want guys that were fun to be around as coaches that will be even more fun at a bar overbears. All right. 2005, 2006. I got to Hawaii in 2006. There you go. Jerry Glanville was there. Number six. Joe Mizzula. This one's a little bit near and dear to my heart. You guys know I love my Celtics. Mizzula is one of just one. He's one of one. He is one of one. He has some unbelievable quotes to the media and he's definitely wired a little bit differently. He's into like Taekwondo. He supposedly watches the departed like a hundred times a year to get himself like locked in. He's the man. I love Joe Mizzula. Sometimes Celtics fans get frustrated by their offensive style. But I love Joe Mizzula. I would love to have a beer with him. He probably doesn't drink because he's chiseled and he takes his health and is training very, very seriously. Yeah. You'd have to go. If you were you guys are with Boston guys, which brewery would you head to? Is that a tree house thing? Is there another? Yeah. All right. Some good options. Some good options up there. This goes up there. Absolutely. Oz again. You guys remember him? Sure do. Of course I do. I remember him as a player. More than a player as a manager. Hilarious. And he's brought. He's transitioned into broadcasting and he is also hilarious. Oz again is just I wanted coaches on this list that are largely unfiltered. And he is unfiltered. He is going to say what is on his mind. Audience be damned. So Oz again. Great guy to watch back in the day as a as a player. And he's doing big things right now in the Chicago media. These shorts stop. Second basement. Yeah. Okay. Filter for sure. Yeah. Oz again though. He's the man. The White Sox had a big year this year. It was fun to see Ozzy part of the coverage surrounding that. That was number five. Number four. You'll ball coach. Yep. You guys never see. Of course. Florida. Steve Spurrier was awesome. And this guy. He was one of the originals that was really just out there saying whatever was on his mind. He's a barrier. Absolute character. Florida. South Carolina. Of course. Washington was the football coach for the Washington franchise in the NFL. Didn't work out so great there. But Steve Spurrier that man was made to have a good time. And I think overlooked often. He won the Heisman Trophy as a football player. Steve Spurrier. Great college player as well. Number four. Number three. Oh yeah. Gone now. I mean. Good call on now. Who wouldn't love this beer and some turducken. I would love a turducken with John Madden. Yeah. Man. I miss Summer All Madden so much. He's on the bus together. That's one of them things you're my year childhood. First year. Yep. Thanksgiving day football with Summer All in Madden. One of a kind. That one's pretty self-explanatory there. I agree with that. Number two. Mike Leach. Rest in peace. Unbelievable. I mean, right. Had one of the most eccentric ways of thinking ever. Mike Leach was all over the map. He was of course at Texas Tech, Washington State, Mississippi State. The guy would be asked a question like coach, what are your thoughts on how to slow down the Texas offense today? And he would die a tribe. And next thing, you know, is giving you marriage advice. He is the best Mike Leach in all time, grim, and a pirate as well as you saw on the screen. When you say pirate, you mean like arg. Yeah. Okay. Number one. Last one. Dick coach. Good call. Mike Dittga. Another rest in peace. Three. We have lost three legends. We have lost way too recently. Mike Dittga, an ESPN. Obviously, great analyst there. It's amazing though, because I think Mike Dittga is one of those people who has like several chapters of his life that you might know him from and maddened certainly fits into this as well. Like some people know John Madden because of the video game. Some know him as a broadcaster. Some know him as a player. Some know him as a great coach. Mike Dittga. Same thing. We talked about this on fantasy focus countdown last week. One of the greatest tight ends ever. Pro football Hall of Famer. He's one of the most famous and beloved people in Chicago sports history for a time as the Bears coach. He of course became a successful broadcaster here at ESPN. He was amazing in that role. And he was an amazing quote as well. Obviously incredibly sad by his death. But all of the content that came out after the fact was was a nice way to remember absolutely memorable of a of an individual he was. And he is he was so colorful, so fun. You call it like you saw it. And we probably smoke some regards as well together. I like it. Yeah, I like that. Gar smoker. I wouldn't I'm not normally. But if you would be in that like Dittga says you want to smoke a cigar. You say you'd be like, okay. So I'll bring the cutter. So two questions. Have you had a beer with any of these people on your list? No, of course you never haven't. All right. How we make that happen? I would say probably unlikely. I figured out that list. I have plenty of options on there. The most accessible is probably Joe. Maybe Tom one. He's a media. I just was thinking about your Boston connection. Yeah. Can I throw two two names on there for mine? It's not my list. But I obviously would want to have a beer with Dan Campbell, because I think he fits that like Dan. I thought about Dan. He'd be really fun. The other one is the only guy by this name I'd want to have a beer with. That's good. Addison Walton. Jerry Glanville was also a NASCAR driver. Sure. That's good call. Funny. I was thinking Joe Gibbs. I was thinking that's our owner and NFL head coach. The only man by this name that I would like to have a beer with. I would like to have a beer with the special teams coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, Michael Clay. Yes. You're favorite Michael Clay. Yes. The only Michael Clay in my heart. Yes. What about you, Mike? Anyone that would be on that list? I think the only other one I could think of is Bill Bella check just because his mind is talking with you just to talk ball and just get inside his head and understand, you know, because me, I'm thinking like, how do I get better at my job? Right? Some of us were focused on that. So yeah, just to pick his brain. I mean, that guy is, you know, just you think about the Patriots and their dominance and you think about Tom rating the offense, but that guy was so underrated was how they were so elite defensively throughout that whole era because Bella check was running that defense and he's just unbelievable. I also think Pete Carroll would be real fun, but I'd be concerned he would turn the drinking like into a game. And then it's like, he gets competitive and then it's like, we got to do a thing. It's like, come on, man. Yeah. So many so many good ones. Fascinating options. Yeah. Have fun watching it. Great job. Thank you guys. It was good. The Mike's SNL is yesterday. Oh, you were comments in the comments. That's a great question though. That's a great question. Thanks for hanging out with us again next week. Enjoy Thursday night football. We love you guys. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself. You deserve it. We'll see you tomorrow.

FAQs
Yes, Saequan Barkley is expected to return to practice and is in line to play against the Cowboys. His return could significantly boost the Texans' offense, especially given the absence of Jalen Hertz.
Jay Jay McCarthy is projected to be a mid-pack quarterback with volatility in his performance. While he had a strong showing last week due to a weak defense, his inconsistency and high turnover rate make him a risky pick, though a good opportunity for fantasy production.
Zach Sharbonay is expected to return this week, though limited in his first game back after a torn ACL. He is a touchdown machine with 21 touchdowns over the past two seasons, making him a viable flex option, especially in a tough spot.
Colson Lovelin is not a lineup lock despite being ranked as tight end seven. He has only recorded 12 fantasy points in one game this season and has limited targets and receiving yards, making him a risky option in a tight end spot.
AJ Brown is healthy and practicing fully, and is projected to have a significant role with multiple targets and receiving yards. His performance last week and the Patriots' defensive weaknesses make him a top wide receiver option.
Christian Gonzalez is expected to play and will likely shadow wide receivers. His coverage will be a key factor, especially against players like Luther Burton, making it a tricky matchup for fantasy managers.
