🎉 Derek Carr Crushes 18 Rounds Of Draft Chaos

Derek Carr, a former NFL player and sports commentator, joins a fictional fantasy football draft show called "The Randomizer," where he must navigate a series of engaging, unpredictable prompts to earn draft picks. Each prompt—ranging from trivia about his brother David’s career to character-based storytelling and sports analysis—tests his knowledge and creativity. Successful completion of these challenges allows him to select players, while failure results in a "penalty" pick, such as drafting himself. The episode blends humor, personal anecdotes, and in-depth player analysis, particularly focusing on emerging talents like Kenyan Sadiq and Cyrus Allen. Derek emphasizes the importance of balanced team building, strategic drafting, and the evolving dynamics of offensive schemes—especially the shift toward multiple tight ends and innovative play styles. The show also touches on broader fantasy trends, like the rising value of dynamic wide receivers and the impact of coaching philosophies. Ultimately, the segment showcases how fantasy football intersects with personal experience, sports history, and evolving team strategies. The format is both entertaining and educational, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at decision-making in high-stakes fantasy leagues.

Huge, huge addition of the randomized. Today, I am joined by none other than Mr. Derek Carr. You know him, former NFL player and my colleague on the YouTube NFL stream last August. And today, we're going to have some fun in a randomizer draft. You guys know the drill. 18 rounds. We're going to spin a wheel before each and every pick. Derek will receive a prompt, a quiz, a question. If he passes it successfully, he gets to pick whoever he wants. Otherwise, there might be some punishment picks in here. I'm Pete. This is The Randomizer. Let's do it. Guys, never made it as a tight end. How is that? Wow. No one has ever seen a bigger dick. This is going to be a hard ball of product. She's such a good fucking girl. We're no strangers to love. When it comes to sports trivia, I am the man. I have no idea what's in granola. I thought it was just granola. Emo cowboys coming for you, John Diggle. They say I'm getting a little bit older. That streaming's a young man game. Welcome to The Randomizer. Pete, take it away. All right. There he is, Derek. We are going to get eight more people in this draft. If you guys are watching, it is just one of the $3 12-person drafts on Underdog. Hop in there so we can get rolling right away. But how are you doing on this fine morning, Derek? You know what? I'm doing great, and it's always good to talk to you, Pete. It really is. And now I get to actually learn something about fantasy football for my week. I don't know about learning. A lot of learning doesn't happen on this show, but we will certainly talk about fantasy football. I know. When we were hanging out last August, you were telling me about your leagues. Have you done your home league draft yet, your main drafts? We did. So what we did last year was a dynasty league. And so we still have our same teams. I think I finished in third last year, first time. I finished in third, which hurt because losing the big brother is never fun. So he's walking around with a big old world championship belt every time I see him. But besides that, I'm getting better. I'm getting better at it instead of just making brash decisions, I'm being more patient. Who did you get? Who were some of your favorite picks that you got in your draft this year? Well, I got Gibbs last year and that's my guy I love. I love Gibbs, love that offense. And I got Justin Jefferson because I believe in the talent. It just was a rough year last year when it comes to fantasy football. So I understand now why people would get mad at me if I missed a pass. I really do. There you go. Yeah. I mean, what do you think? What do you think about him with with Kyler? Because this is what, like third or fourth straight year that he has a new quarterback now? It is. And Kyler is super talented and he's been able to throw to some good receivers, some good targets before. But I'm hoping I'm hoping for a big year from Justin. I need it. That's for sure. My team definitely is counting on him. That's for sure. All right. This draft just filled. This is always a sweat to see what spot we get. We got the 109, which is good because the one thing I don't want is the 101 or the 112, because it means we have to do back to back picks, which means I have to spin the wheel. Back to back times. I will say after each pick on the back end, I'm going to spin right away to make sure we can stay ahead of pace here. I know I kind of explained it to you over email to your producer. Do you have any idea what's about to happen right now? I like 17 percent, but I'm all in, man. I'm I'm ready to rock and hopefully I don't have to draft myself because that wouldn't give me any points. You know, let's see here. You are still very much in the player pool. Now, you don't have an ADP here. Because that means no one has drafted you yet. But I don't know, maybe that changes today. Maybe we we select your name in this draft. It might happen. I might just do it just to scare everybody. We'll see. All right. We are going to spin the wheel here for our first round selection. We'll see what the wheel has in store for us. OK, this is called Car Company. I'm going to cue a Houston Texan brothers. Derek and David made a career in football to take who he wants. Derek must name a business. He would have pursued with the family had football not worked out. What would have been the alternative career path for you and your brother? That is a great question. I probably would have been I probably would have ended up preaching and coaching. I would end up preaching and coaching, man, that that my grandpa was a pastor all from Texas, Texas roots. But yeah, I would have been preaching or I would have been definitely coaching, which I am now. So there you go. And your broadcast studios, I believe you told me are in in your church as well, right? Yes, we started right. We started right there in a family friend right in their church. We started right there upstairs. They gave us a little room to get going in. There you go. So that you could you could set you said coaching and preaching, but now you're doing preaching and podcasting. So you're pretty close there. I am pretty close is I'm I'm I'm getting better at this podcasting thing, but the preaching thing I've been doing for a while. There you go. All right. You successfully passed that. You're not going to have to take a Houston Texan in round one. I'll tell you some of the names who are about to be available for us here. Your guy, Justin Jefferson, is is available. Jonathan Taylor, CD Lamb, James Cook, some really strong options here. Do you have a favorite? You know what? I like going running backs early, but I'm telling you right now, when Justin Jefferson is on that board, I can't believe he would be a second round pick. I just can't believe it. I mean, I understand, but I just can't believe that that is possible nowadays. Well, this is actually a question we have a lot when we're drafting all these fantasy teams is this idea of. Your portfolio, and do you want to have all of your eggs in one basket? You already said in your other league, you have Justin Jefferson. He goes, he got we got sniped. We can't even get picked. I'm not Jonathan Taylor, CD Lamb, James. OK, I think I think James Cook is a great pick here, if I'm honest. Love Jonathan Taylor, but James Cook in the quarterback, I like that situation. All right. We're going to get James Cook on the squad and we are going to spin here again. Oh, my goodness. I have to get some glasses for this. So I used to do this character, Derek named Man. And he's kind of like this Guido Italian character. They want me to Jackson Hawes in the queue. I'm going to become man's and you're going to pretend like you're my buddy, Dom. And we're going to talk about favorite things to do in Las Vegas before the next pick. Let me grab my glasses real quick. All right. Oh, do Derek. Now, I know you spent some time in Las Vegas. What do you like to get up to there? Are you doing preaching and podcasting in Las Vegas or, you know, you you tempted by Sin City at all there? You know, it's hilarious is one of the greatest churches I've ever been to in America is in Las Vegas Church LV. It's ten minutes from the strip. They're amazing people. But I would say going to Aria and going to catch and getting the Wagyu steak on the hot rock is probably my favorite thing to do. If I when I go back to Vegas, that is like a must have for me. Does this mean like if you say they got one of the best churches there in Las Vegas, I can do whatever I want late into the night. And as long as I roll into that church on Sunday morning, I'm good. Like, am I going to be good with the big man up there? I don't know if you're good with the big man, but I know you're good to show up and get right. I do know that. That's for sure. You know what they say, the the best availability is reliability or something like that. But I will be in that pew there. And even if I partake in some of the seedy underbellies of Las Vegas, real question for you, though, you played in Las Vegas. You had some of your teammates. I'm sure they were tempted there. How did you? You know, bestow upon them the virtues that you maintain. You know, what's crazy is the whole strip thing. Everyone comes in town, all your family, all your friends. They want to go to the strip. They want to do these things. And we when you live there, it's like it kind of gets like, guys, I don't want to go down there. My guy was like, I'm sick of it. I'm tired of it. If you guys want to have a meal, let's go do that. But, you know, walking in the casino and it smells like smoke every weekend isn't too fun. Not going to lie to you. All right. Well, I know you wanted to get a running back. And round one looks like we got a lot of good running backs in round two. We got Saquon Barclays, Omarion Hamptons on the Chargers. Jenty, if we're not worried about that ankle, Derrick Henry, the big dog. Which of these guys do you like? I got to be honest, it's it's going to be it's got to be Barclay or Jenty. Yeah, I'm an I'm a Raider, so I love Jenty. But that Saquon to me, if we can get him with that offensive line, especially in that new system, I think he's going to hit his head on the goalpost quite a few times. There you go. James Cook. James Cook in Barclay. Thank you for indulging me in a little character work there. Really good, by the way. Thank you. Thank you. I haven't done that character for a while. So Brock Bowers went one pick before us. What do you think about Brock Bowers in those those Raiders unis? Absolutely love Brock, especially in the system with Clint. I know he's going to touch the football. You saw it with, you know, Jason last year. Then they were able to find ways to get him. The football had a huge breakout season, record breaking season for him. And I think the same thing for Brock, as long as he can stay healthy and they can protect, a huge year for him he's he's a he's a monster man he reminds me so much of waller you know when i had him it's like you gotta you have to call plays to get him the ball uh but he's such a great talent such a great individual everyone over there loves him and so a big fan of brock that's for sure one of the guys who still kind of gets drafted maybe 18th round uh over on draft kings they go 20 rounds people take michael mayer the other tight end in las vegas there how does that work because that's a trend we're now seeing across the nfl there's a lot of teams that are going to be running multiple tight ends you know we've been hearing it with the rams the chargers mike mcdaniel's been talking about multiple tight ends how do you think about that from an offensive you know schematic standpoint well you know you see it with mcveigh a lot and you saw it with us with gruden is you know you roll two tight ends out there or more you know you have to fit the run you know if you if you're calling your crazy pass defense pressures and these kind of things you're you're run game you you have a you're very liable to give up some gashes in the run game and that's what that'll give a defense coordinator fired you know and so they got to be more conservative you get base looks you get more conservative looks and no matter how long we play football it's going to stay that way because you can't get crazy you know when they get those two tight end three tight end sets because you got to fit the run and be sound there so i think it's genius to to graph to draft the second tight end or draft guys uh you know that are in that west coast mcveigh shanahan kind of system because you know at some point they're going to have to play and they're going to get some catches i had a prompt on another show a while ago about how many of the mcveigh tree coaches they are and it's like the entire league at this point is somehow you know you know trace back to that let's uh spin the wheel again here for round three this comes to us from willis is awesome my guy know your draft derrick must name at least five players drafted by the raiders in the 2014 nfl draft the year you were drafted if he cannot you do have to take dylan lauby can you name five of i believe the seven here all right let's see uh we had khalil then i don't know if i count but i was second round you do okay all right me gabe jackson was drafted uh that year uh jonathan dowling was drafted by us um in that year as well yep seventh round shelby harris was also drafted by us who is still playing so i could name all of them i can name danico atri and seth roberts who were undrafted free agents come on man i gotta know my guys willis wow that's come on you have it yeah i think the other yeah justin ellis keith mcgill tj carry defensive back in the seventh round well well big jelly big jelly was there too that's right uh incredible 2014 and that was the same year davante adams was drafted uh obviously not uh to you that that draft class so going back for fine fantasy football heads you know we play dynasty football that was the most loaded draft class of all time so much wide receiver talent coming in that year i'm with um all right that was loaded you are going to get to pick here we need a white out wide receiver we need a white i'll give you some options lad t higgins amekig buka jalen waddle garrett wilson uh luther bird and terry mclaurin who do you like let's go back up a little bit let me see uh i saw i like lad a lot i like t higgins uh yeah and so i'm good with either one of those i'm gonna i'm gonna toss this one up to you i'm good with either one let's keep it in la for you here we'll we'll go lad mcconkey here we're gonna spin right away to make sure that we can do this but then i'm excited to ask you about the chargers offense but let's see our next one here okay cue the next charger well we just took lad derrick takes who he wants if he can recount a reaction from the stands after the raiders week 18 win to seize a playoff spot on january 9th 2022 do you remember this moment and do you remember any interactions with the fans i mean yeah i mean i remember i remember a lot i remember calling the time out i remember uh you know laughing that i can't believe they called a time out and allowed us to run another play you know uh i remember having interactions with the fans and yelling and doing all that but i don't that's a very uh wide range question there i wish it was i knew more specifics but yes i vividly remember that night because one of my favorite football nights of my life to kick the chargers out of the playoffs what what are because the the black hole you know fans they are notorious for being some of the most hardcore do you have any good stories about the black hole fans i'm gonna throw some stories about them over the years or any interactions with a specific fan so many um i remember in oakland i threw a ball away in the end zone and gorilla rilla used to wear this big like silver chain that was like these like look like these ornaments you know but it's a big silver chain with a raider a deal i remember i threw a ball away um play was covered i threw it away in the back of the end zone and it hit his indented his deal and i remember he told me so i ended up signing it for him so his his his chain is signed from a ball i threw away in the end zone that's incredible he's an iconic one there too with like you said those uh those ornaments i always remember from denver growing up the barrel man in denver do you remember him yeah he was a legend as well all right you get to pick who you want here we got james cook and barkley we did take lad mcconkey um we got you know igbuka ted arroyo mcmillan luther burden josh allen no quarterbacks have gone yet if you want to look at tight end we're in the colston loveland range who do you like i'm going back to receiver yeah i want to go back to receiver i absolutely love this guy i want to get jameson williams let's do it i absolutely love him if i can't ever get gibbs he's the next one on my list from that offense i i saw what coach was doing with him trying to get him the ball when he was calling those plays i think that they have something special in him for sure yeah for sure and he would you know he's someone comes into the league so so talented that's undeniable you know rocky start with you know injuries he had that success and he's a great player and he's a great player and he's a great player and he's a great player and he's a great player and he's a great suspension thing and then you heard how dan campbell talked about him really kind of takes a leap last year and then i know in the fantasy community too a lot of us are expecting an even bigger leap like to where you know you look at cd lamb and george pickens that kind of duo it's like could amin ron jamo be two guys we draft in the top 24 picks next year i i think so you know i think they have three guys on that offense and if you count the tight end i mean four but they got three guys that are all starters and stars of an offense and they got three guys that are all starters and they got three guys that are all starters and they got three of them you know so it's gonna be hard they they got people to pay there so we'll see how that goes but you know that that doesn't bother us in fantasy world i assume the lions uh then are one of your favorite offenses to watch any other uh favorites come to mind i love watching them i really do i love watching cincinnati um you know coach taylor does such a fantastic job schematically but you know coach mcveigh uh kyle love watching kyle shanahan in san francisco um but i i think the one that takes the cake right now is clint you know clint kubiak for me and the raiders um absolutely just a just so fun to watch so fun to see what they scheme up him and ginoco uh but yeah uh those guys that come from that tree it's always fun to see what they do all right this is called a dream wide receiver i'm gonna cue a player that you've thrown to in your career and you recall a favorite story involving that player from your career uh to take them so let's go to the board here davante adams is gone um are there any other pass catchers here that come to mind uh that you might be interested in taking in the fifth round that we're gonna that we're gonna have to draft this is you are gonna have to draft i would say uh um man chris olave if he hasn't been taken but i'm sure he's gone he's gone uh waller's coming back rashid shaheed but do we get do we get special teams points here i'll go shaheed uh yeah okay so rashid shaheed i remember inviting the whole offense over to the house and uh he comes over and i remember he walks in the house he shakes my wife's hand he said thank you so much for bringing me over here he hangs out the whole time he afterwards he's cleaning up i'm like dude stop just enjoy yourself before he leaves hey thank you again derrick so much for having me over it means so much goes to my wife same thing i was like not only are you the world you are the nicest person i've ever met and so uh i would say that those things are awesome and then also throwing in the bomb in dallas is probably my favorite play but yeah i like rashid man well all right we are going to take him it is a little ahead of adp but that story was too heartwarming not to select him here so uh that is a pass we'll take shaheed we will spin again here uh how are you doing are you handling the wheel all right you're crushing it i'm doing great this this is actually a lot of fun all right this one is called time travel i'm going to show you a picture um from your playing days and you have to guess whether it's from your days at fresno state with the raiders or with the saints we have obscured the jersey here so that you can't tell but you're just gonna have to look at yourself and see if you can guess who this is so let me get this image pulled up here the time travel here is the photo can you see that there oh i can see that oh man i'm gonna have to look at myself and see if you can guess who this is so let me get this and talk us through it okay i i'm in the i'm in the vices helmet so i know it's not college i can tell i think uh on my screen um i definitely have a little gray hairs in the beard so i know it's not college because i've had more kids since then i i'm gonna say that this is uh i'm gonna say this is saints i i i want to say raiders but i'm gonna say saints taking a guess because it could be either i'm wearing the one wristband i gotta say saints it was there we go you nailed it you know we're trying to stump you uh but we can't that the helmet was a good uh a good tip-off off there that was some good sleuthing by you oh yeah there's some secrets i know with the helmet that's right on the rashid shaheed thing or let's actually make our pick here okay quarterback you want to look at quarterback so lamar still here i want lamar he's here i want lamar and i'm not even thinking twice about it i think he's gonna have a huge year i want lamar there is an issue this guy casey brown i know him he's on the clock right now he loves the ravens uh and i'm worried he is going to take lamar here if he takes him now because he hurt us i'm going to be very upset i'm worried about it for you i'm gonna be i'm beat he did it i knew he was gonna do it i knew he was gonna do it you know that just says a lot about his character you know it does type of person that he is not not someone i'm gonna hang out with um tight end let's go to tight end then let's go to tight end yeah i want i want is tyler warren there i want tyler warren yes yeah i think let's do it i think he's gonna have a huge year i'm i'm excited for him uh you he's definitely gonna get the ball in that offense there we go uh on the the rashid shaheed thing what do you because it's a conversation we've had a lot in the fantasy space this offseason like rashid shaheed such a good player you saw his ability to earn targets in new orleans win short win deep you get this trade to seattle and we're all so excited we're like oh man this is going to be kind of you know the second leg of you know him really becoming this huge fantasy asset and then they don't use him at all and so now we're all wrestling with this of like with the full offseason to integrate him into their offense more are there more points here how do you think that works and how does that stuff work as far as guys getting integrated into the system on the fly yeah it's tough man because uh he he's a very um very talented player but he's also someone that you know you took you took him from one offense then you put him in another offense then you trade him back to a different offense which sometimes changes words and does things and so like to be able to do that on the fly that's tough for anybody you know especially receiver and especially in that offense there's a lot of work to do and i think that's a big part of the game and i think there's a lot of detail that goes into that so i think that having all this time now they've seen him in the spring they've seen him through training camp i think uh i think they see the speed they see him the way he can drop his hips and run routes he's not just a speed guy he runs routes you know i think they're going to find more ways to get him the football and i think i don't think teams are just going to let jsn go for you know 200 yards a game either i think that they have to try their best to take him away which is only going to open up opportunities for rashid yeah yeah he is uh man these best ball drafts one of the nice things about a guy like shaheed you know sometimes in your managed leagues you got to kind of know when is the the big play going to happen in these best ball drafts you just click him and the weeks that he spikes for the big touchdown it's going to put it in your lineup automatically so we love rashid shaheed in best ball yeah i love that i do all right let's see this let's see what we got here for our next prompt uh this is called in the dog house this is from someone who submitted this that is intimately familiar with fresno state are you familiar with the dog house this is from someone who submitted this that is intimately familiar with the dog house grill if i mentioned that okay so this submission says we want you to name five items off the dog house grill menu or you're going to have to draft one of these former fresno state players roddy rivers jaylen moreno cropper uh nico remigio uh can you name five items and tell us about this grill that we need to know about absolutely you get the you got tri-tip sandwich which is unbelievable you got the tri-tip tacos which again unbelievable yeah you can get a you know chicken fingers which is definitely what my kids pick i don't know why they should pick the tri-tip uh the french fries there though the french fries let me tell you this pete the french fries i don't know what they're putting on them but they are addicting and there's something in the ranch they're definitely addicting i don't know what it is it's probably sugar but something in these sauces they're doing is addicting there but it's easy man this dog house i've been going there since i was a kid come on wow i just looked it up only 4.2 on uh oh no this is the one by my house uh called dog house bar this is certainly not yours i was gonna say i bet yours is uh is better there uh incredible uh all right we are going to give that a pass let's go ahead and see what's on the board so your team you got the two running backs james cook and parkley you got the three wide receivers lad jmo and your guy rashid shaheed you did lock up tyler warren do you want to look back at quarterback or another position here see i do we need how many running backs are playing in our little game here because we might need another running back i mean we we end up i would say like a normal build is like two to three quarterbacks five to six running backs you know six to seven wide receivers two to three tight ends is kind of what you do in this format okay i think we're gonna need another running back is there any starters on there i always like grabbing starting running backs obviously we don't know about josh's situation but besides that um yeah it depends if you feel like rico jalen warren uh pollard versus spears obviously quorum is behind uh kyron chuba with jonathan so we are definitely in split territory here yeah we're in the split which makes it tough i i really like rj harvey and what he does in the past game uh yeah you know i think that they're gonna throw in the ball i like rj they use him like they used alvin in new orleans yeah let's get rj harvey he he's an interesting that whole backfield because it's like the denver offensive line is so good you know that they're going to generate points for the running back position but jk dobbins is so good as the interior rusher and now they're talking up jonah coleman but to your point it seems like harvey is going to have a defined role in the passing game no matter what yeah i think so and especially if you're going to especially with the speed and sutton you know they added waddle that underneath past game is going to be viable for him for sure all right we're going to add rj harvey here this is going to be another multimedia prompt this is called car or car you must determine which of these nfl game stat lines were either from you or your brother david i wasn't sure how hard this was going to be my production team assured me that uh you would be able to uh to handle this but let's look at this first stat line 27 for 42 372 yards three tds zero interceptions four sacks uh who do you think that is since it's four sacks i'm gonna go with david um okay i didn't think that they had a great offensive line i know you threw for like 370 against the jets um i'm saying dave off the rip that's my guess you are correct that is from uh october 10th 2004 next one uh 39 for 54 323 yards one touchdown one interception and again four sacks see i 54 attempts that sounds something like i would do um i'm gonna go with me here because i i don't know i i want to say dave again because of the sacks but i'm gonna go i'm gonna go me i think this is me you were on to it with the sacks because this was david again uh we'll go to this third one uh 40 of 59 attempts 513 yards four tds zero interceptions two sacks what a stat line this guy and i'm wearing red because it was against the bucks i know that one yeah october 30th 2016 next game 31 for 34 323 yards two touchdowns one end zero sacks that's me against the eagles i believe i think that's me that's my guess or is it the eagles or the broncos october 24 2021 here we can check that in a second final one here 22 of 36 267 yards one td zero interceptions and this might tip you off eight sacks i'm going dave with the eight sacks that's my guess yes that is correct so it was just the one that uh that threw you there but you went four for five and i believe what did we say here for the prompt um i think you passed this one going four for five let's see here uh do you want to do herbert with lad mcconkey he is here yes let's stack them i do want to do that let's stack that up i think he's gonna have a big year i like herbert hopefully no one jumps us did we actually get him we did we did we got him okay didn't know if you had any charger fans that had bad character i don't know you know uh i don't see we do have some of those around here but i will say fantasy fans in general are very excited about this offense specifically what mike mcdaniel can do here i think one of the things we're all kind of wrestling with is could are there scenarios where justin herbert is kind of just the one guy you really want because he's going to be the beneficiary of everything and it's really spread out you know you have some you have some qj they use the tight ends they're going to use the running game or do you see can a guy like lad you know be so good that he consolidates volume as a wide receiver one i don't know if you have any thoughts on that you know what he definitely can do it and i think that some of you got to look at what they did with um you know in miami you know everyone loved the running back right well you we love the running back with the chargers and everyone loved the two receivers you know everyone wanted waddle or tyreek and rightfully so because that system and the way that they do it uh there's some big plays explosive plays and lad has that explosiveness in him but i like the guy they drafted to this year i think out of mississippi state uh is it thompson or something thompson yeah yeah i like him in that offense too i think he's gonna have a small role and if there's any injuries he's a guy that could shoot up because of what he can do being able to run one of the things everyone you know keaton mitchell people are really excited about in the running game there and a lot of people tossing around the comps could you have omar in hampton as the most they both went off is that being too pie in the sky or could you see the running game really clicking here no i can absolutely see it because keaton mitchell you know he's had the injuries but he's such a talent you know and i'm sure his talent's jumping off jumping out at him every day in practice and coaches can't help themselves they're comparing all the time they're like hey he reminds me of him let's put him at this play you know they can't help themselves so we'll see but i know one thing they want to do is run the rock there in la that's for sure yeah there's the infamous story that at the beginning of free agency mike mcdaniel had a wanted poster for keaton mitchell and alec ingle those were the two guys he just had to get on the team all right this one comes to me from my buddy davis matic it's called the joker all he wants to hear is your best tasem hill story if not we will draft tasem hill you got any good tasem stories i don't think it'd be a bad thing to draft tasem because he's the greatest human ever but i will give you a story um i remember going in the weight room and tasem you know we play i got golf stories i got football stories uh i wanted him as my two-minute receiver that's how good he was that's how smart he was i he ran the right route i was like i want him in the slot put tasem in the slot and they're like seriously i was like yes he's that good um but tasem to me uh the most the most impressive thing that stands out is this dude i walk in the weight room i'm a strong guy you know for a quarterback i was strong you know squatting over three four plates you know over four plates repping them out doing and i look over and tasem hill has over 600 pounds on the bar and i was like dude this guy is insane and then he goes out and runs on the deal and he's running four three something and i'm like all right this he might be the best football player i've ever seen so in the weight room tasem hill and khalil mack are like the two people where i was like all right you guys are different he and i don't know how familiar you are with like fantasy lore but he's like broken fantasy scoring a few times where sites had to redesignate his positional allocation because it's like is he a tight end is he a quarterback is he a pass catcher like they don't know what to do with them and sometimes when they classified him as tight end he was like a cheat code because getting that kind of production from a tight end it was like those were that was a rushing touchdown but he's classified as a tight end and he's like oh my god he's like oh my god he's tight end that's exactly right yeah we didn't know what to call him either he was just he was just our best player that's what we called him uh all right i'm gonna look back at wide receivers for you here um yeah we're in tyson who's hurt uh xavier worthy pitman concepcion stripling who do you like okay i i have to go with the chief's offense i think the run the ball play action stuff's gonna be great i want xavier worthy i think that's a good one yeah he i mean i feel like uh you know it was that uh the game that we were covering last year when he was in brazil the season mostly gets derailed so fast really productive in in college as well at texas i feel like he's just been snake bitten and if he stays healthy you could have a monster year yeah i agree with you i i we were watching that game it was literally like we said him and kelsey collided early on it was like over just like that brutal brutal uh all right here we go okay the fresno state band we're finally gonna see if we can snuff you here can you sing the fresno state fight song or you are going to draft a second one string tight end you know the go go dogs go fight dogs fight go dogs and it's a lot of music after that a lot of music after that but hey go on man we scored a lot of points in college we heard the fight song a lot all right you know i feel like some of them are pretty elaborate with the lyrics there so it seems like that one was was mostly uh pretty by the book for you yeah that one that one's pretty easy and it was just what i can remember from getting hit in the head so much after all these years uh one quarterback three running backs four wide receivers one tight end you're super balanced here um you can always be open for a second quarterback like if you want to stack up mahomes with worthy that might be in play here um we could look at other wide receivers and running backs as well you know what i want to do is i want to go back to running back because i i really love this guy and i think is it our turn to pick or is someone going to steal him from us one more away one more away here all right i'm gonna wait because there's i like this guy a lot so i'm not gonna let our friend steal him again roofing man yeah yeah we're not gonna let this happen so i'm gonna wait till he picks and hopefully he's looking down the list trying to guess all right uh who it is because uh we've learned a lot about him so there is a little delay now so you should be good to speak freely what do you think okay uh we're good all right i think this guy is unbelievable i really do and if they're swift is getting a little older you never know what happens there the young back looked really good guys get excited about young backs because they don't have to pay them i'm just gonna say that teams get excited about young backs because they don't have to pay them for three years so i'm excited about yeah yeah and especially with him being a later draft pick too on that cheap rookie contract there uh you met we talked about fresno state i saw you have a new gig you are a special advisor for the ucl ucla football team can you tell me about that i am yes i am going to be helping them and uh just really helping in all phases they they open the doors to me to you know get experience get get my college coaching experience and i'm all in on that and helping with game planning and you know talking to the oc helping the quarterback you know head coach with whatever questions you know he has any any ideas that i've had or any things that i've done and so man they've been uh so awesome and receptive and opening their doors and and uh it's not just a for fun it's a it's a it's a fun thing or just for recruiting like i really am doing work i really am coaching i'm really doing this thing because it's something i want to do incredible although i mean you you got to ask you know you see philip rivers he gets that call last year does that still uh stick in the back of your head the perfect situation would uh could that be in play for you you know i again i've learned to never say never you know um but you know i i am enjoying what i'm doing that's for sure um but i i had calls last year uh some teams on the fence and some teams you know trying to fight to get their seasons back and all that kind of stuff but uh that those those situations didn't really interest me and so you know i i'm happy coaching my kids and coaching ucla that's for sure when you see like you know keenan you know waited to sign for a lot of this season and then eventually picks the colts is there an element of like i don't want to go through off-season training programs like i'm a veteran or is it just i am waiting for the perfect opportunity or a little of both i think it's like a little of both uh but a lot more of i don't want to do training camp if we're being honest so yeah there's some of these vets are like i'm not trying to run two minute drills and do i just want to practice and go play the games and so he started with aaron donald a little bit but he what a scary opportunity they have there with that defense goodness gracious seriously uh okay uh when i was with you in la we got to hear a little bit of that gruden impression and i say we have to go back to that well this is called why banana i'm going to put a buccaneer in the queue you must use your gruden voice to explain why bananas are the perfect game day snack to take who he wants so this is a little character work you are now john gruden selling me on why i need some potassium in my life hey pete listen up man i'm telling you what you gotta have a banana before you play the game we go to tampa bay it gets hot and you're gonna cramp man and so i gotta tell you what it's all about get your bananas and okay it's all right to have more than one because one's never good enough pete we need more than one all right more bananas more touchdowns come on man so you're saying there's a direct correlation between the number of bananas i eat and the number of touchdowns i'm gonna throw yeah i mean if you don't have a banana you have a chance to cramp then you don't throw any so it's definitely makes sense all right thank you there mr uh gruded uh it was so funny when you were doing the film stuff on the youtube thing because you were leaning into sometimes i think it just took over subconsciously when you're doing the film stuff you're like i just morph into gruden i tell people all the time the little voice inside my head is john gruden so it just comes out sometimes incredible all right we have one quarterback four running backs four wide receivers one tight end here um what position would you want to look at i want to look at the quarterbacks before they are all gone um i i tell you what i i gotta be honest with you there's two people on this list are we almost up we're up right now okay i like cam ward or malik willis i'm so excited i'm so excited about malik willis and i'm i might be a crazy one but i think he's i think the world of him and so i'm good with taking him because i know he's gonna be running too so i like malik willis let's uh i want to talk about malik willis i am in it we're gonna grab him i'm just gonna spin here just to make sure we can get both of these prompts in um and then i do want to talk about malik willis this is called sack artist i'm gonna cue derrick carr i'm gonna put you in the queue okay you need to name the player that has sacked david uh or sorry this got uh mixed around yeah sack david or his brother derrick on three consecutive offensive plays to take whoever are you familiar with this piece of trivia that both you and your brother have been sacked on three consecutive plays by two different individuals i did not know that that's crazy so there's two different people that have sacked us both three consecutive plays correct i would say for david it's probably dwight freeney because he was in the backfield a lot um junior say out in that chargers game i'll say freeney and then for me uh i don't think he got me three oh man von would be the only one i would think that got me three in a row i don't know who is it all right i will so this is good this is gonna be your first uh fail on a prompt i'm gonna pull this up for you here um it was so the quarterback or sorry uh it was brad schioli who got the colts defensive end who did it uh against david and then yours was matthew judon on three consecutive plays three in a row i oh i definitely remember that i definitely remember that judon definitely got me oh man that's hilarious dang come on judon three in a row that's crazy yeah there you go uh not the funnest of three in a row but it's a funnest of three in a row and it's a funnest of you guys but uh you know a piece of nfl super trivia uh at this point um all right so this is what was the punishment here oh this is what we get to do it we're taking derrick carr on this draft you are going to be the third quarterback here it's just a good pick yeah it's a good pick i'm gonna say if it's if it's week 13 and you pull the philip river somebody calls you up i'm gonna be looking at this team i'm gonna go check this team and be like now we're now we're cooking and now we're cooking and then everyone's gonna say it was a great pick that's right exactly uh back to malik willis you know uh us fantasy guys are really excited about him even even having worries about that offense and just how good they're going to be just knowing that malik willis can run the ball so much what what do you see out of him as far as how dynamic he can be as both a runner and a thrower well we see the like you said you see the dynamic part of it you see the running ability and all that i love what they did with him um you know in green bay even in tennessee i know i know his coaches he was taught well all those things he just didn't get a lot of opportunity there you know and usually when you're a first round pick i mean you get a quick opportunity and usually you have a little bit longer leash but there i think that you know people were on their way out or whatever was happening and he didn't get that leash and so for malik i'm just super excited for him and the opportunity that he got in green bay because then he really got to show that he can play in this league he can make the throws he can do those things that's what everybody was worried about we know he can run can he read the coverages can he can he throw it down the field you know coming from a small college etc etc etc and he's shown people that he can from a small sample size in green bay and i i see some of these training camp clips and some of these throws he's making i just see a guy that's super confident right now i see a guy that's confident has a lot of ability so i don't know i mean i'm excited for him and i don't know uh i picked miami as a sleeper wild card team but they could also we have said on our podcast they could also win one game uh so if he is trailing in some football games i expect uh his talent to show even more in those games yeah and i mean we've been trying to work through you know if it does really click there with the passing game like who are the beneficiary we've been drafting some greg dulcich late and now they have these two rookie wide receivers caleb douglas chris bell got back on the field do you have any uh pass catchers there you like the running back i like hm yeah i think he's gonna touch the ball a lot yeah as we all do right um but for me uh you know there's a is the who's the little fast guy they had is it malik washington is that his name yeah he was the guy the incumbent that stayed yeah that was there last year uh there's something about him too when you watch him i was like they're gonna try and find ways to get the ball in his hands and he's gonna try and find ways to get the ball in his hands and he's gonna because he doesn't get you know wet in a car wash you know that that guy he's super shifty very agile i like him them getting the ball in his hands but i also like jeremiah smith to the dolphins next year so that's another one there you go already watching that uh that film for next year uh all right let's spin again here this prompt is called aarp i'm gonna put nick chubb in the queue derrick shares three benefits he is enjoying now that he's retired from the nfl to take who he wants here uh not quite like government benefits but just any benefits of being a retired player i would say one is uh more time with my wife and kids um you know you think you're present you think that you're doing all the things until you get done with being an nfl quarterback you realize just how much time you were away and so i'm enjoying that time with my wife and kids i get to coach my kids football team um you know which is so fun for me uh and then recently we had another baby and so we have five now which is crazy but i'm enjoying that time with my wife and kids and i'm enjoying that time we had another baby and i get to see every day uh our baby grow up you know i get to see all the first things and that's not something i got to do you know for 11 years plus you know so for me those those are definitely three benefits that i wouldn't trade for anything that's for sure yeah i was just watching uh quarterback on netflix and there's the scene with joe flacco and i believe he wasn't able to be in the hospital for one of you know i think his fourth or fifth child's birth just because hey i'm gonna go play football on sunday so uh that does sound like a very nice perk of uh not having that duty yeah absolutely yeah my kids like it that's for sure and you do have a full starting five now so you can get the the car basketball team going um all right starting five we are on the clock i'm looking at uh uh uh tight ends and wide receivers chica conquo keenan allen jalen naylor hunter henry jalen mcmillan don tavian wicks trey harris any names come to mind here for you go yeah let me see uh let me see the receivers real quick just the time yeah i'm gonna little list okay yeah keenan naylor mcmillan wicks trey harris i i'm not i'm not gonna lie to you i'm a big don tavian wicks fan let's do it fan yeah big fan of his super talented i think more opportunities now climbing up the depth chart he was kind of getting lost in the shovel green bay had so many receivers they had so much and with aj brown leaving i like him yeah uh wicks super excited about his role and it sounds like all the reporting is he's had an awesome camp they kind of two alongside davante uh all right this is called jeremiah uh cue the next jeremiah juror christian or chris without looking derrick recites his jeremiah 29 11 tattoo with no errors to draft who he wants you got this one committed to memory absolutely all right for i know the plans i have for you says the lord plans for good and not evil plans to give you hope in a future and depends on translation there's different translations that could get us on the no errors there yeah can i actually get the king james translation now all right we're gonna get to pick whoever we want i derrick i do want to uh we still have four more rounds of this draft but i also want to protect your time and i know you got recordings and stuff to do today and i know i'm kind of putting you in a hard spot but literally no hard failings if you need to go are you good for a couple more rounds oh no we're good i'm just waiting on my brother to show up anyway so we're good okay when you need to go you tell me otherwise we're in round 14 we just go 18 and then we will uh we'll wrap it up here um three quarterbacks including yourself four running backs five wide receivers one tight end you want to look for another tight end here i do want to look for another tight end i i like the tight end in new england i like dalton schultz uh but i think he's gonna be healthy i think he's gonna be back i'm good with either one of these two tj hockinson or sadiq uh or kenyan sadiq okay i i love i do too he's just so talented man uh i'm good with sadiq i i like him okay we click sadiq now there's a corner i call these people in in my chat who watch the streams i call them bi-week bros because they will get on me if i take two players with the same bi-week we did just take tyler warren and kenyan sadiq who both play in week 13 so with one of our remaining picks to appease the bi-week bros we'll find another tight end who doesn't uh go on by in week 13 are you cool with that i'm great with that we can find another tight end we can do that when you mentioned getting so excited about sadiq you know i know for your podcast and stuff you guys are uh often talking about reviewing film and stuff where in your process are you watching a lot of college film like how do you get excited about these incoming guys where where are they getting on your radar it's usually around draft time you know my kids know all these guys that are coming out they play the video games they know everybody but it's usually around draft time i start watching um you know some film on on these top prospects and some guys that hey have you seen this guy yet and i'll watch them and you know write down my grades and what i think about them but he's someone that just has all this talent right and the college game for tight ends is uh it's just a different game and so i think getting them in a pro style offense them running the ball play actions the different things that they can do from under center and turn them back to the defense i think that with his speed he creates such a mismatch right he creates such a mismatch now time will tell if it with with gino their veteran quarterback and offensive system with veteran coaches i think that they know how to get him the ball i think that they will especially take someone the first round everyone wants to get their guy the ball so they look right yeah and you know one of the obvious this is this is just a self-contained league but a lot of the tournaments we play in these fantasy drafts all of the money is at the end of the season you want your team peaking week 15 week 16 week 17 fantasy playoffs it's like every time there's some good tight ends around here but if there's one guy who just looks like a revelation that we're drafting in round five next year kind of like what we saw with colson loveland right coming on like isn't that kenyan sadiq i think so i mean he definitely can be and and the more games you play in the nfl you just get more and more comfortable so i think he'll be good for the end okay this is another multimedia prompt i'm going to go quick on this one uh this is i'm going to cue a future comedian derrick discriminates between quotes from himself these are things you said or british comedian jimmy carr so you just need to see if the quote is from you or him if you get three plus right you get to take who you want let me get these quotes pulled up here real quickly and we will go rapid fire through these here we go first quote i'm probably one of the most competitive people you'll ever meet i want to dunk on my nephews i'll block my two-year-old's shot to make it hard on them i think that's me that's me that is correct that is you that's you next one if i'm at home for the weekend and that is almost never i don't know what to do with myself i'm saying that that's him you're right that's jimmy carr that's jimmy carr there's nothing that i couldn't joke about but other people could i'm gonna say jimmy again that was jimmy that was jimmy uh oops i i messed up the order here uh i spoiler i use everything that i go through to be better i use it all just to fuel the fire to grow and learn from this guy right here you're gonna get that anyways you're gonna get that anyways i would have got that uh yes uh i think i uh i got the uh the last one out there oh this was the other one i met i missed up the order i'm sorry production team if you see anything you see i'm sorry production team if you see anything you see i post a lot of scriptures yeah that's me that's me that's you absolutely uh that's right uh all right you You apparently know the things you said. You get to pick who you want here. Let's look at wide receivers again. Cyrus Allen, Omar Cooper, Nishan Booty now on the Texans, Jawan Jennings, Caleb Douglas stacked up. Who do you like? So, there's a guy here that I really like, and I see Omar Cooper, and I get excited about him for first-round pick. He's probably one of the least talked about. Omar? Yeah, I like him, but I'm going Cyrus Allen. Okay, yeah, let's do it. Two chief receivers, but the things I see out of Cyrus Allen coming out of their camp and the things you're hearing, the clips I've seen, he's going to play inside. He's going to run the slot. He's going to be over the middle. That's where Kelsey's made his living. This might be where he makes his living. Beautiful. Yeah, and, I mean, you got some uncertainty with Rashi Rice coming back. He's been a little banged up. There's some interesting angles there with Cyrus. Okay, this prompt is called, That's My Brother. I'm going to put a Texan in the queue. To take who he wants, Derek must correctly guess your brother David's NFL quarterback. He's going to throw career passing yards within 200 yards. We're giving you a 200-yard error band to take who he wants. Do you know this answer for your brother? For career, right? Career yards? Career yards, yes. Oh, man. Okay, so he put 5, 3, 15, 8. I want to say it's around like 18-something, bro. Let me think. I think. Talk it out the math. You got some time here. Okay, I got time. Okay, give me a second because I know the years. 2-0-2. 2-0-2. It can help you with practically anything on the web, like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50-page restoration block or finally break down that long article you've had open for weeks. Check responses, setup required, compatibility and availability varies 18 plus. Now, it's your time. We Go Vee! We Go Vee! Ask your prescriber about We Go Vee, some maglutide injection 2.4 milligrams, a GLP-1. Call 1-833-4-We-Go-Vee or visit WeGoVee.com to view the medication guide and to learn more about We Go Vee. Why wait? We Go Vee! I think. It's got to be like 16,000. It's a pretty good guess. Are we close? You're close. You're not within 200 yards. You're within 1,000 or so. You're within 1,500. The answer is 14,452 yards. Dang it. Sorry, Dave, if you're out there. Sorry. Yeah, there you go. We got a Texan, though. Yes, let's see who the best is. The best available Texan is. Sorry, he's gone. Tankdell's on IR. I'll let you choose between Tankdell or Jalen Knoll here. Not even close. Tankdell, he's back. He's going to be fine. I'm telling you, bro. You see those routes he's running? You don't run routes that out route that crisp and not be okay. He's got to be okay. I was so bummed because I was drafting Tankdell all summer, was ready for it, and then just that they started the season on IR after being out for so long. It was a little demoralizing, but you're telling me he's going to be okay. I'm a positive guy, Pete. I'm just hoping for the best for that one because he's so talented. That's right. All right, we have two more picks here. Derek Carr on the randomizer. Derek, sincere thank you here for joining us. And before we do these last prompts, let people know, obviously, Homegrown Podcast, you guys have been crushing it over on YouTube. What else would you like the fantasy people to check out of yours? You know what? Yeah, check out our Homegrown Podcast. We do fantasy stuff all the time, and we're doing different things with different companies that I won't say because I don't know who you're with. You're good. You're good. You're good. Say whoever you want. No, no. So we do our thing over there, and we're having a great time. So come check us out. Share it. And it's just going to be positive. It's going to be positive. It's going to be ball knowledge, and I think people are enjoying the positivity. We're not here to tear people down. So we'll tell you. We'll make your team feel like they have a chance. That's for sure. There you go. And you guys have been. You've done some trivia over there. You guys mix it up with what you're doing. We do. We have fun with it. And they did a Jeopardy game the other day, but they just didn't know that me and my brother graduated from Fresno State. They thought we were from Harvard, and we didn't do too well, but it was a lot of fun. You know what? I don't know. You're doing pretty good on the randomizer here. You can see the ticker down here. You know, a ton of green passes here. So maybe you guys need to do your own randomizer because this seems to be right up your wheelhouse. This is a great idea. We might call it the Pete segment just because this is awesome. There you go. All right. Round 17. This is called the Fresno, Tourism Board. I'm going to give you the next 49er, charger, or ram, and you are going to do a fake ad read, essentially selling me on Fresno. This is for the Downtown Fresno Partnership and include at least, you know, three attractions or highlights to take who we want. So sell me a man who's never been to Fresno on why I need to go there, Derek. Well, one is because of the Fresno State Bulldogs. If you want to feel a homegrown talent, you want to have some entertainment in your life, you need to come check out the Bulldogs because they are fast-paced. They're always a physical, physical football team. If you don't like this, you know, basketball on grass type football, you want to see some real football where people put their face into the fan, come watch the Bulldogs play. You'll be entertained. That's for sure. Next thing I'd say is one thing we talked about earlier. You got to get you a tri-tip sandwich. You got to come down to Doghouse Grill and get you a tri-tip sandwich. I'm telling you, Pete, it'll be the best tri-tip sandwich of your life and you'll be addicted to the fries when you leave. I promise. All right. The last thing that I'll say, you come to Fresno, everyone's like, what's in Fresno? There's nothing. There's nothing in Fresno. You need to make a little drive. Just go up north a little bit and go look at the agriculture and just be thankful every time you eat a meal, Pete, that there is a 90% chance that that food is from us. All right. And so no more talking bad about Fresno that we're in the middle of California. Be thankful for us because without us, you probably wouldn't have something to eat. Let's just say that. Two things. One, the chat is saying that this almost became a Gruden impression that the voice inside almost took over during that answer. And two, it's not a good sign for Fresno that your third selling point involved driving outside of the city. Yeah. Drive a little north. Just it's in the boundaries. But we got good stuff, man. I just wanted people to be thankful for us. That's all. There you go. Let's see. We could go for like a sleeper running back with one of these last two picks here. Najee back with the Giants. Kamani Vidal of Keaton Mitchell's banged up. Kamara when he comes back. Any deep sleepers you like here? There is. There's one guy that I couldn't imagine us not taking because of the way that he plays. And that's Isaiah Pacheco. I think that if anything ever happened to Gibbs, which none of us want, he is a great pick. He's a really good running back. I know he had the injuries, but the way that he plays, man, I love his style of running. I'm learning you love the Lions. It's just, it's all the Lions here. Okay. We have one final multimedia, prompt to end on. I'm excited about this one. This is, this is car or car. We're going to cue the next line. Well, guess what? We just took Pacheco. Derek is going to name whether photos are of you or your brother or a literal car, a vehicle. If you get three plus, right? You get to take whoever you want. So let me get these car or car photos pulled up here. And here we go. All right. Number one, let me get this on the screen here so you can actually see it. Is this a photo of you or your brother or an actual vehicle? I think that's me. It looks like a saint's helmet. Yeah, you're too good. There you go. Diving out about last play of my life. Look at my guy tackling me. Last play broke my wrist right there on my hand. A lot of places. Hey, producers. I didn't want to, you know, invoke any PTSD or trauma with these problems. Can we all good? I love this one. That's good. All right. Next one. Is this a car or one of you or your brother Raiders? That's got to be me. Yes, you're too good. You're too good. Uh, let's get another one here. Is this a car, a vehicle, or you or your brother? I'm going car because I don't know, man. Unless my helmet got dinged up. That looks like a car. You're too good. Yeah, I'm not a car guy. What is that? Is that a Lamborghini? Lamborghini. Yep. Lamborghini. What do you drive, Derek? What do you drive? A truck every day. Truck. There you go. Dirty. That's a Fresno guy right there. A lot of dust out here. Uh, I accidentally might have just spoiled one again here. Is this a car or a? A Derek car or a David? I think that's a car. I think it's a car. Yep. Yes, you are correct. This looks like some kind of typical sedan here. Final one. Oh, no, we spoiled it. We spoiled it. I got this is on me here with the multimedia. This is what you were going to have to guess from that. Oh, gosh, that out of not said me. That's for sure. That was a great commercial, by the way. It was. Yeah, I do. Yeah. Remind me the the back story on that because you had the music video and all of that. What's the story behind this? So we did like a fun music video. It's for a bank and they did this music video did this like lip singing thing and Virgin Records actually called and like we want to release the record and we're like, that's not him singing. That's not and so it was like a real thing. Like we won awards for it and everything. It was crazy. And I think like I remember when that come out when that came out. I feel like the rhetoric was people thought you just released this. Was there an element of it where it was supposed to be kind of like confusing on where? where the song was actually coming from? - Oh, absolutely. like is he serious is he not serious i i always i like to be a little mysterious sometimes i didn't want people to really know you know but i did let a little of the personality out to make some people laugh and the people that actually understood it they enjoyed it but the other people are like there's no way he's serious i was like you're right we weren't i mean that's like uh peak you know viral marketing 101 i think they they crushed it with that one um all right derrick this was incredible i'm going to recap the final team we'll get your thoughts and get you on your way to record your show at the last second there we didn't have time to get your pick in so i just selected fernando mendoza for you as your fourth quarterback i figure you're a mendoza guy i love that i'm a i'm a raider guy man if he's a raider i'm a raider so i love it that's what i like uh justin herbert malik willis derrick card fernando mendoza what a quarterback room there uh james cook saquon barkley rj harvey kyle menungai and pacheco our running back room lad mcconkey jamo shaheed xavier worthy don tabian wicks cyrus allen tank dell and yes we never appease the bi-week bros i forgot to get us a third tight end it's tyler warren kenyan sadiq we're taking a zero in week 13 but maybe these guys are just good enough that we can withstand it that's right um we're hoping for that yeah bi-week bi-week bros i'm sorry uh probably should have been a question i asked uh but i'm learning i'm still learning pete this fantasy thing hey uh this was a blast eric thank you so much for your time hopefully uh you know youtube will get their shit together and get us another game to do uh next fall but until then man uh i'm gonna let you go thank you again so much for being game and uh playing along with our uh our randomizer format absolutely anytime man it's good to see you all right there goes derrick car thank you to derrick for being such a good sport today that was a blast here um he's so good man he's so good uh glad you guys all enjoyed it here as well derrick as a regular i would love to make that happen i would love to make that happen um all right uh the stream is not done uh we're gonna get john and nez up here uh we are going to roll right into off and on the clock here and we are gonna talk some ball we're gonna draft we're gonna look at some week one uh lines in the underdog lobby here and maybe see what that means for some of our final drafts and all of that good stuff let me do a little flip of the production here to make sure i can get our off and on the clock going uh all right let's get these guys up on stage there they are there they are oh i'm hearing an echo oh is that me it is okay well i i think we're back we're good we're good sorry yeah it's this this firefox browser always uses a different input uh but anyways that was awesome as expected man that was so good he's awesome like and now with all of his reps as a broadcaster to just his ability to come in and out of like interview talking football talking fantasy he's uh he's the whole package gruden impersonation was legit you know what like we were when we were hanging out even because we did the rehearsal the day before i think it was the wednesday or whatever or the thursday and he just ended up talking like gruden for like the entire rehearsal even after like he couldn't help himself but but snap out of it and you hear what he like does he's like he's like he's like some of those prompts like he does snap into it it's so funny and it's like austin butler when he was playing elvis he couldn't stop talking like elvis just talking like gruden around the house oh my god that's so good hey speaking of snapping into it yeah i i gotta i gotta know what's up here with uh the man's being back man i need more of that in my life pete you know what's funny uh i think i forget was that liam i think liam submitted that prompt and i almost didn't include and then i was like i'll just put it on uh so we got it we got we got a little man's derrick loved it i do that would be a very funny buddy comedy of derrick carr in las vegas with like a really horny uh you know uh just sin-filled man like man just trying to like keep him from not doing anything bad but yeah john i have to ask uh you are in uh you're transitioning from your old setup there's no stumps and i will say like you do look like your your your traps are popping right now in this look oh we got a lift in this morning so i'm glad to hear that uh yeah we're in the pseudo setup uh i'm using the laptop right now actually you guys can see the the the computers over there waiting to be set up so it's not ready to go so i'm just here with the laptop and whatever but uh yeah flooring's in uh paint's going down this afternoon and then hopefully i'll be hanging some shit um next and we'll have a full-fledged office by thursday or friday but we'll see all right internet seems good so that's a that's a good start yeah i was like that was the 101 thing i had set up like i was like the guy was in here first day i was like yo get that fiber optic wire make sure we got hard wire over here hard wire over there like that's the first thing i had done smart that was same with me when i moved into this place i immediately because my office didn't have an ethernet port and i like found the electrician i was like you i need you to get in here right now and whatever make it make it happen because uh if there's one thing we need it's uh it's good internet here yeah um i might pivot next show before it like that the window's just like it's just white there's like nothing to yeah that wasn't that wasn't your that wasn't your best artistic choice but it's okay it's all right i didn't what is what is behind you is that a river yeah it's like the ocean and mountains and stuff i mean i think you're every piece of terrain possible wetlands ocean like yeah just just just leave that and then just talk like and then just pond yeah wow that's yeah wow good for you man good for you don't actually just do the entire stream like that we don't even need to say yeah i don't even want to see you just like i'm just gonna look and see the serene background i mean damn it's actually pretty sick so it's like uh it's like a almost like a 270 view like wrapping around from the backyard and the porch and uh you can see like the planes take off over the mountains like way off in the distance and then you can see like all the boats that are it's actually open season for salmon this morning so i was watching like sitting on the deck watching all the boats go out and uh for fishing so it's pretty cool um all right dudes how we i can't believe it so the great dane i want did that drop yesterday yes because i saw people talking about it and then davis message was like oh would you guys want to draft one of those on the swole cast i was like sounds great and i like pulled it up because i didn't even know it was in the lobby and i'm like last night it was at 34 percent full woke up this morning and i'm like well it's gone like yeah it just immediately filled yeah the sicko's like maxed it i think it was a lot of the guys that were waiting for high stakes just like maxed it and and did their four and uh that yeah that took up quite a bit of lobbies so yeah hopefully we get another one or something of that ilk soon but yeah husky's in there which is nice yeah husky's good for the mid-stake time box guys pretty sweet i didn't get in any great no yeah yeah husky's forty dollar ten entry max so that looks nice and hopefully should chill out for a few days at least maybe roll us into the weekend they're uh 11 232 entries so maybe maybe we draft one of those uh uh for today after we talk some of our other stuff yeah what's up john am i tripping out i can hear you and i can see pete's mouth moving but i can't hear pete yeah he looks fine on my end yeah everything's good for me i literally can't hear him like i didn't hear any of those questions that's bizarre i'm gonna pop can you hear me now i don't know what that was i don't think he can that's so weird she's been doing that we're like like sam couldn't hear levitan before he came on best while breakfast yeah what what that is but yeah we'll get john back but yeah no the husky would be sweet man that's like one of my favorite structures um you know it's 400 is a little you know obviously pricier than like the typical 200 to max like for the pitbull but it's still really nice man it's price point people are looking for and yeah and for 50k to first uh prize to chase i think that's a really good ratio yeah and i think also we're at this point where people are starting to get a little concerned now about super teams with marshawn lloyd and you know a lot of pretty big movement so now you get these time box contests it's like you can draft marshawn lloyd wherever you want and you're you're good exactly exactly man and i don't think enough people kind of like understand that yet or they're just like they don't they don't care to but yeah that's like things is you know when the time box contest drops like i'll take bleak neighbors at the one two turn because he's yeah he's he this is a fresh adp it's a fresh set yeah i was asking people on monday's best ball breakfast you know like who is on your guys's to-do list as far as in these drafts whether it is stuff like that like really hammering plays you like in the time boxes or guys you want to get to in bbm because they have such a low uh draft percentage any anybody i i think the 101 right now is malik davis right like just taking some shots on cowboys back up backfield like don't really care who that is but in particular feels like he's way safer with the jayden blue stuff yeah yeah he he's a great answer uh for me and you know now this isn't even homerism because he's not stealing anymore i think caleb johnson actually has no no no of course of course i'm jamming nausea i think caleb johnson actually has some some intrigue i mean he's probably bad that like he just completely just couldn't see the field for the Steelers for whatever it's worth and I think it's probably worth a lot that he was a high draft capital pick and they still like couldn't get him on the field but you know I like Marshawn Lloyd I think he's really good but he the reason we haven't seen Marshawn play Marshawn Lloyd play is because he's always hurt so if he if anything does happen to Marshawn Lloyd and it's Caleb Johnson or Chris Brooks for the foreseeable future like it Caleb Johnson's probably going to get first crack at it and given the the scheme of this offense like I just think almost anybody can go back there and do a decent job so like low-key I think Caleb Johnson is worth like some shots I've been thinking about these like deep shots in the 18th round instead of just taking Calvin Ridley every time and Caleb Johnson is one that comes to mind I was wrestling because I wrote up for the newsletter this morning like some of the backfields and like new 0RB targets emerging obviously shout it out Malik Davis and Emmett Johnson with that news I you know talk about Kendrick Miller and I did I left off Caleb Johnson I thought about it I do agree I think my concern is if Jacobs is done don't they also still feel like a spot where I don't know whether it's a guy like Trey Benson or somebody like that where they add one more body and it's like is it just the depth chart play or do we think Caleb Johnson can for sure be like the number two with the Chris Brooks stuff as well there was it's definitely the depth chart thing yeah yeah there was some bullish uh mcnugs um earlier about just like the outside zone run scheme fit and like we knew it all too well last year when we were talking about Arthur Smith offense and him going to the Steelers and blah blah blah and then they were kind of echoing those same sentiments of like that's what they want to run in Green Bay and he's a good fit for us so it was a it felt a little more than depth chart like reading between the lines in my estimation but like I don't know like call me like bro science dunce cap whatever for just being like hey we were selecting this guy in the fifth round last year and I know he did absolutely nothing with it like why don't we just take a swing or two in the 18th round now so you know I've added up a couple times I did do the Chris Brooks things a couple times in like that intermittent window in slow drafts but yeah I'm good with either right now yeah the the Malik Davis one does just stand out in that like you think about the Caleb Johnson one that's kind of like oh shit like we're scrambling like we we just need to get some bodies in here where them seeing Jaden Blue and Malik Davis like all offseason in the program and for them to just think David or uh Blue is completely expendable especially with how bad Javante was in the past game last year like that says a lot about how they feel about Malik Davis so I think that one is a jam obviously the Emmett Johnson stuff too I mean there were there were some people who were concerned about Imari DiMarcato kind of complicating the RB2 thesis there in Kansas City we've seen the the veteran you know song and dance would it have been crazy if DiMarcato was like a Kareem Hunt light for them I don't think so so you get rid of him and now it's like holy shit Emmett Johnson feels like a premium click right now interesting tie-in with the DiMarcato that he's now Dallas yeah yeah so like that's really good really good landing spot for for DiMarcato yeah and the other thing just in that whole conversation obviously they they kept the fullback slash some of the other guys that were in the program and they sometimes third down back hunter what is it Lukey or Lupe or whatever but that yeah yeah yeah nailed it um and then and uh but Phil Moffa people were always talking about Phil Moffa versus Malik Davis the fact that Phil Moffa's gone too it was like two birds one stone with the blue stuff it was blue and Moffa right yep yep so yeah they they completely overhauled their depth chart there where are you guys at one guy that I'm just I've been just clicking even in like these eliminator slows and weekly winners that I'm wrapping up more so in weekly winners I've been trying to get some Chris Bell just knowing hey like his draft percentage in these um where are you guys at on on like say the Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell stuff I'm Bell over Douglas uh I think Bell's ceiling is considerably higher than than Caleb Douglas and I think it only the the injury timeline being sped up his recovery going as well as it has I think it's going to be a lot worse than I think only kind of bolsters the the the scouting report on him coming into the draft is that this guy would have been a first round pick if he if he hadn't tore his ACL and it's kind of insane that he fell as far as he did but I think that kind of goes to in part of how ambiguous his draft class was but he's clearly like a very very like freak athlete and and the recovery I think kind of you know proves that and so if any if he's like if he's anything and it seems like they're like hella chances to be something then then this is like really exciting I'll take him as early as like 170 um yeah I mean at that point it's not that crazy I feel like that's true you know like once I mean it's like him or god I couldn't even tell you who's wide receiver 170 because I still even have these guys ranked right now like it's at this stage of the game bro it's like like what's the difference yeah they're all just one dollar players at that point yeah I mean for me with the Chris Bell stuff it's just like as Nez alluded to it's like he's six two two thirty on an ambiguous you know hey maybe we can encapsulate RB1 or I mean wide receiver one on his own team from there and people thought he might be a first round talent like say less click the button yeah yeah uh I'm trying to think any other guys on the radar uh Yosh uh or go easy card circling back how how bullish or bearish for Javante Williams I mean it has to be bullish I don't I don't think you can spin it any other way especially because it's like Davis like refresh my memory he he doesn't profile as like some locked and loaded pass catcher in the way Jaden Blue had that in his profile no he's he he's got some jump though remember the Thanksgiving slate where he went like 60 yards to the house like he's got a little bit of that burst or whatever but no yeah I I this has to read as very bullish for Javante and if we think that offense is going to score a bunch of points and has one of the best playoff schedules for BBM I mean yeah wheels up like we should be having the Javante conversation of like Javante versus Kyron versus Brees like we're talking about pull up to the left side of the board um you know front front end of third round targets like Javante should be firmly entrenched in that conversation and I've been soft fading all year so that's uh that's bad for my bags but I might have to capitulate here in some of these time box contests all right before we draft today uh Nez was over in the Pick'em lobby looking at some week one numbers for us and he has obscured them um so we're gonna have to do some guessing here I have not looked at these I know John hasn't Nez uh tee up kind of what we're we're looking at here yeah this is sort of inspired or like definitely inspired by the first quarter contests and just trying to like get a feel for what these guys look like week one and then you know maybe finding some sort of application into best ball in terms of like hey like this is this looks pretty good this looks kind of bearish uh and you know just just mostly just having fun on stream but uh definitely I think most applicable to to the first quarter contest you're allowed to do that no no we have to be actionable info all the time so this is always fun for me like before like the season starts you know we kind of like have the our ideas about these players so uh yeah I want to start off with Jaden Daniels Trevor Lawrence and Tyler Shuck for passing and rushing receiving yards for week one here oh I just noticed the rush I was like starting to do passing and so now I have to uh to add rushing yeah yeah so it's both right so I think that kind of like you know kind of adds an element here and so uh yeah don't don't look at my screen I'm showing my screen with the answers Pete but uh yeah curious what you guys think okay so oh we lost oh shared his screen too well um okay so just thinking out loud here I wanted to this is this is um matchup uh you know incentivized right like these are these are game lines so we have the shootout in the dome versus the lions we got Cleveland which you know you can take it or leave it but Lawrence is at home and then we got Philadelphia maybe a little bit of back and forth in that one for Washington okay so my I'll talk out my math for Shuck here at the top I'm guessing so they're implied for 20.75 points I think there's a temptation to maybe like really try to come in higher here on the number just assuming garbage time but I just want to say these lines don't really operate like that it feels like it's more like a 235 240 number to me with no Tyson yeah 232 and a half for me okay and then I was going to do the rushing stuff again like between 10 to 15 like a 12 and a half like rushing number would be my guess yeah so I'm coming in like 245 246 247 here yeah I'm good to lock that one in there 245 and a half would be the the number that I'm looking for all right uh Pete whenever you're ready uh I have if I pull this up is it going to reveal all three of them though my my input was wrong again it will be all three it was okay let's do our guesses on all three first okay I thought we were ready for all three sorry I thought that because you said three oh no we were we just talked so what John what was our guess 245 and a half for Shuck yes okay I think that was all right all right okay um or I think I said between 245 to 247 let's say 246 and a half okay all right talk you you lead on Trevor Lawrence um yeah cleveland might be bad bad um 23 and a half point implied for the jags there um okay i'm gonna start with oh man we're so bullish like fantasy lens wise but he ran a decent amount last year i'm going 236 and a half for the passing and then i'm giving him 18 and a half ish on the ground i'm coming in at i think i'm coming in at 258 and a half that's good i i was just gonna say the passing feels high to me i think the market will assume that the jags will have success on the ground here at home and he he might be more in like the 225 230 passing range is kind of my concern there for lawrence okay yeah i i i echo the sentiments because i walked back because being high uh initially so we could so let's bring it down 253 and a half 253 and a half nice got it okay and then jayden daniels so we have this inoperable offensive line it's in the middle as far as team totals 21 and a half at philly which isn't massive here i think daniel's passing is probably in a similar range is lawrence and then with way more rushing um what we're full health with him like starting with the rushing john i mean what is this it's just like a 25 and a half for daniels or higher higher higher 35 and a half uh yeah i'd say 38 38 and a half on the rushing okay and then like 215 on the passing would be like my my initial reaction so what's that put us at um 215 plus 40 is like 255 and you're slightly below that like we think he's going to be ahead because we have lawrence at 253 and a half so do we think 256 257 and a half yeah i think he's i think he's below lawrence actually you do yeah wow i think i think his i think his rushing will be so much more in the passing will be close enough that i have a hard time saying he's under lawrence okay but what do you want to what do you want to i mean that the initial math we did was right around 255 okay two uh two yeah two let's just go 255 255 all right so and then i'll pull up as is so 246.5 for shock 253.5 for lawrence 255.5 for jane daniels reveal it to us here every game day you show up for your team now it's your time ask your prescriber compatibility and availability varies 18 plus 260.5 for shuck 252.5 for trevor lawrence 246.5 for jaden daniels so we were inversed we were very warm in general but just the wrong order holy cow yeah no you guys yeah you guys were you guys are pretty good i mean like you nailed the trevor lawrence one like you got on uh you initially were right on on jaden daniels but i was with you if i was playing with you guys oh we got to have jaden daniels higher than trevor lawrence uh and then yeah then shuck obviously gets a great matchup but i mean hey wow hey man like this is still this ain't nothing this ain't nothing so this is pretty cool this is a yeah wow okay shuck higher than jaden daniels and lawrence is wild you know what's awesome assuming garbage time yeah just i mean just a crazy 20 20.75 implied total here you know so uh it's yeah i mean high scoring game for sure you know what's awesome about this is their adps will be the complete reverse order in the first week of br yeah yeah yeah definitely definitely for sure uh all right that was fun let's do uh let's do this next one here that nez grabbed uh we got running backs uh barkley versus the commanders uh jalen warren versus the falcons both at home marshall lloyd at minnesota and rico dowdle so we got both steelers backs here uh versus atlanta okay this is rushing plus receiving yards scrimmage yards yep i think this is a little bit cleaner to do like in one shot pete you ready to type i got this and then you can do and then i'll calibrate from you and then yeah you calibrate off of me okay so saquon combo 86 and a half yep keep going warren versus atlanta 59 and a half lloyd versus minnesota six uh 62 and a half and then rico 43 and a half all right i guess the ones i like your barkley one a good bit i would maybe go a smidge higher um i think they might have him at like 91 you want to split the difference and say like 88 and a half yeah like it um 59 and a half for warren feels pretty good to me the lloyd one feels a smidge high 62 and a half i wonder if they're like baking in still some chance you know with the jacob stuff if they sign someone else just they're being i almost kind of like him maybe closer to the warren like around the same but let's bring him down two yards to 60 and a half and then dowdle i think the market is going to be very similar on dowdle and warren i don't think you're going to have as big of a gap as you do yeah no i okay okay i like that i like that take i i just think part of nez's thesis of putting these all together is warren's for sure going to be higher than rico let's come in close let's bump him up to 57 and a half and leave warren at 59 and a half okay all right official guesses nez here 88 and a half for barkley 59 and a half for warren 60.5 for lloyd and 57 and a half for fuck we're high on lloyd we're high on lloyd you're not no 90 97 and a half saquon barkley 55 and a half jaylen warren 66 and a half lloyd 69 and a half rico dowdle mogging jaylen warren mogging okay warren week one wow wow so yeah that rico verse warren one is the big the big surprise because i would have thought that i certainly would assume that rico would project for more rushing yards but i would have thought the warren receiving stuff would have kept it closer than that me too this what what what is the the spread in total for week one of that steelers game because that that says to me that they're like six and a half point favorites with a 20 three three point favorites wow okay implied to score 22.25 versus atlanta so the the matchup there is is definitely attractive yeah for sure for sure i think if they were i think if they were dogs then this would obviously the gap would close here but yeah i mean this was this this gap like shook me okay yeah all right like this is this is a little telling in your face with that i was just i'm doing one of uh the fantasy like guillotine slow drafts um obviously 18 people and i was on the clock in the fourth and i was literally just staring at rico and warren and i did go warren just thinking the pass catching floor in the full ppr with the guillotine was kind of like the slightly safer play but i was legitimately torn because i think they're they're so close yeah clearly and maybe maybe not as close as i as i think so yeah the rico people definitely looking looking looking sharp here man that lloyd that lloyd number is is screaming lower to me like calling me like the like the green goblin mask right now like i just yeah i know you're the you're the resident you're the resident lloyd uh bear so it's true it's true and maybe like let's remove that and let me just like just talk about the number like even not being a bear like that number there's just so much inherent variance that can take place over the next like three weeks you know or you know what it's not three weeks anymore the next 10 days or whatever yeah and crutches even mentions too minnesota's been pretty tough uh against running backs yeah my gut would be to be a wet blanket on that lloyd number there um and three three wide receiver sets all day for them like yeah yeah okay next we have some wide receiver lines here jamo home versus the saints uh aj brown on the road at seattle little super bowl rematch there rashi rice versus denver t higgins versus tampa bay these are going to be fun i mean this in my mind is just the most classic 59 and a half jamo line i've ever seen in my life i mean my heart just wants to go 109 and a half baby we're already sliding it baby it's a off and on the clock slide to the moon here we'll get there yeah i like uh 59 and a half seems seems measured and palatable to me yes aj brown i would say like in neutral game scripts he's probably going to be more like a 75 guy i think you bring it down slightly on the road at seattle lockstep here uh witherspoon treatment maybe be the best defense in the league who knows uh i'm i'm going 72 and a half i think would be my number and a half sounds right rashi rice versus denver uh yards at home i mean not the greatest matchup he's probably coming in in the mid 60 range i'll say 65 and a half whoa yeah we're in lockstep again here like i want him to be under the aj brown number but this he's pretty matchup proof agnostic to me just the way they move them around like i'm not worried about like sirtan following him or anything like that um "but yeah i guess being at home kind of nice earlier in the season good weather yeah i've got like 68 and a half like something like that what did you what sorry pete i lost your number in my mind i said 65 and a half yeah yeah good with 65 and a half and then t higgins uh verse tampa bay this is home they have a 27.5 implied team total i think generally he's going to be in the jamo range 59 and a half i wouldn't be surprised to see him slightly ahead of jamo in this matchup he's the highest on the board here and he is uh 78 and a half no that's too high that's too high for a wide receiver too i wanted to be bold i'm just i'm sorry i wanted to show off i put him at like 62 and a half okay so my my order is aj brown then rashi then t higgins then jamo okay that's a fair way to to do this one because these guys are all really similar but you guys don't know me at all man jamo of course is leading this group i wouldn't put jamo on here he wasn't leading this group guys i mean what three and a half for jamo you guys don't know me at all no you lost your integrity on the last one you lost your integrity on the last curveball baby curveball can i say t higgins on the fucking dot 62 and a half yeah that was you guys you guys were sharp man but yeah the aj brown 60 and a half i mean we'll see yeah we'll see we'll see what this target share looks like for him but yeah lowest on the screen here with the highest adp in best ball i mean yeah if you if you want to just go like full football bro like super bowl rematch on the first wednesday of the season with a brand new team against maybe one of the toughest defenses in the league island game like it kind of makes sense but that is kind of alarming for from a fantasy lens standpoint yeah no it it is um in the jamo one is super is super bullish um because i mean their team total is it's basically identical to cincinnati but i would say like market perception both in fantasy and in general heading in is that like jamo wasn't as locked and loaded as a consistent wide receiver too in the same way we've always viewed t higgins alongside them but now you have a similar matchup and it's now saying like you know jamo's on par like it's almost doing the one b not the two in the offense kind of treatment i mean i was glad to see derrick car's a waymo guy man take yeah oh my god i was so hyped for that let's go man all right we got one more here yeah last one here yes yes and then we'll draft uh we got lad mcconkey home verse arizona we have jaylen mcmillan at cincinnati uh we have carnell tate uh home verse the jets and then we have and then brian thomas these are going to be harder uh i feel like i'm my brand is in shambles right now that lad mcconkey's even on this list boys like this is the toughest of scenes right now nez is trying to dunk on me i hate this so much man i gotta i gotta pay for this view nez lad is clearly here for a reason i think it's it's like 53 and a half john and everybody wants it to be 63 and a half i hate to agree but uh uh 58 and a half all right let's meet in the middle at 55 and a half okay deal uh jaylen mcmillan i mean i feel like nez is putting this one on because it's like surprisingly high you have the turf toe stuff ted hurst is still a rookie godwin with the low a dot i feel like jaylen mcmillan is going to be like oddly close to lad i'll come in in a surprisingly hot again i'm like playing apples to apples like i'm playing nez more than i am trying to actually play jaylen mcmillan and i'm gonna say jaylen mcmillan's at like 47 and a half okay i i think this is like a classic uh site puts up a a line with like ambiguity all around the situation and i think this is the one we could read the absolute least into right now because this is for sure just hedged for igbuka's availability it's hedged for mcmillian's availability it's hedged for the game total right now this is going to just be way too high it's going to be like it's going to be 58 or something like that and it's going to be like just hedging the fact or 55 whatever it's just going to be hedging all right well then let me meet you i mean 55 seems i would you got to go lower there and i was at 47 let's meet me in the middle at 52 and a half mcmillan 52 and a half um carnell tate uh versus the jets i feel like this number is going to be frustratingly low um he's got to be 40s i think it could be like mid to low 40s like are we looking at a 44 and a half here my number was 39 and a half so i'll meet you at 42 and a half 42 and a half their wisdom of the bros john and p average together brian thomas um this one could go either way i mean brian thomas he's not getting the t higgins jamo treatment that's for sure i so my thought with brian thomas is he's like the type of so he's a household name so he's like a guy that you want to price up from like a back-end standpoint he's also in a spot that they think he's going to smash and he's a big-time x-wide receiver you want people to be like playing his hires and you want to push them in that direction but you also can get people there by putting it high too so i think he's going to be abnormally high in this situation and i think it's probably like 53 and a half because of big play potential or something i think that number sounds right i mean we saw the t law number right it wasn't that high i'm sure there's a big number on parker washington i think he's i i think yeah mid to low 50s i i would say i kind of even want to go lower i actually might my my heart of heart says he's under 50 49 and a half is my is my number okay good with it 49 and a half all right so to recap nez we went uh tight band here 55 and a half for lad uh next up we went 52 and a half for mcmillan is there any way is mcmillan over brian thomas because that's how we have it right now that doesn't seem right it's a hedge factory baby it's a hedge factory this isn't about the player just just buying it not being about the player and then 42 and a half carnell tate hit us with the reveal nez yeah so john john was right about the the mcmillan thing like probably a bit of a hedge but still man it's a great match up uh 43 and a half mcmillan 42 and a half tate 39 and a half for lad next up we went 52 and a half for brian thomas wow we were off by 10 for lad so not necessarily a cohort here but just guys that i just thought were like interesting and worth kind of putting on one final slide but yeah pretty just just an overall kind of bearish and then like a surprise popping one here we nailed tate on the dot same as t 42 and a half the lad one really close two off there 55 versus 53 mcmillan we were on the right scent just got a little too frothy there and then the huge the biggest surprise is brian thomas at 39 and a half there that's a pretty sobering number yeah that's a very sobering number but i also thought they would give him um the big playability household name treatment so dude i'm actually low-key tempted by a brian thomas hire there yeah me too yeah yeah i i think that goes up and that we know the way you play brian thomas right it's not the median you you have to slide that shit yeah exactly exactly yes um man those are those are super fun super fun i mean the carnell tate one's not surprising rookie you know low implied team total there but yeah the brian thomas in a good matchup one stands out and the lad one is again i think that's more a real you know you think about those spots and drafts right like jamo like going i mean jamo goes after lad in virtually every draft i mean like i know it's just week one but like this is gonna play out over and over the lines are gonna play in a shit ton of dome games it happens every week one but like this is gonna play out over and over the lines are gonna play in a higher implied team totals than the chargers all year the the chargers implied team total is 28 and a half and that's so we're already on the highest end of it here or is this just saying hey they're gonna they're gonna establish it so so easily on the ground is that what it's saying perhaps but like usually if there's scoring to go around you know and yardage to be had uh you would you would expect the number you know at least near the guy that goes 10 picks behind you but what do i know okay well what where jamo hedge here that the line is propped up by the fact that we might get limited laporta or no laporta yeah that cope in your veins brother just be just be glad just be glad you have all this exposure to waymo and marshawn lloyd all thanks to me man all yeah there you go you're you're welcome you're welcome yes um good stuff someone in the chat had asked uh what's the uh did you look at the tight end someone wanted us to do a ballard big bride oh that's a good one i i actually didn't um i did not but i can if you want to real quick i can uh pop that over uh it's just like they're just like mixed in with all of the you know with all the wide receivers so it was just like a little difficult um but let's let's just look bowers up here 63 and a half okay i'm sorry you were trying to guess huh it's all right it's all right let's let's now say another one ride in the same um mcbride what do we think if he's 63 and a half he's got to be close it's got to be like 61 and a half mcbride well i'm trying to remember who they play in week one chargers yeah 58 and a half uh is he listed he doesn't have anything so okay okay you're safe we'll never know let's just do for good measure loveland here 51 and a half okay just to just to take take take a peek yeah at panthers that was yeah where there you go parker washington bros uh if he's the you better be hammering that higher at 49 and a half i'll tell you that much actually could that be a fun exercise who has the highest uh combo yardage on the jags uh like is it tootin it must be tootin isn't even listed chris rodriguez is at 35 and a half that ain't that ain't it uh and then so does jacoby jacoby's up here for 44 and a half over brian thomas yeah pretty wild and then parker washington 55 and a half scrimmage yards pretty pretty nuts man pretty nuts yeah that is wild huh trevion henderson 42 and a half week one how much of this is sentiment from the crowd and like i'm not i don't know how the sausage gets made on the back end but like how much of this is anticipating where money flows that like hey they they're not going to be able to make money on the back end so i'm not going to say they know that money is going to flow to parker washington so we have to be a little bit higher and like you know what i mean like i'm just kind of curious on like the back end you know mind game dynamics of it too this episode is brought to you by google chrome you think you know a browser but gemini and chrome that's new it can help you with practically anything on the web like restoring a vintage motorcycle from a 50 page milligrams a glp1 call 1-833-4-we-go-v or visit we go v.com to view the medication guide and to learn more about we go v why wait yeah i'm not sure i'm not sure i think they're just honestly just trying to set you know fair fair numbers and yeah yeah like i don't know how much of the the game theory of like inflows comes into play here yeah yeah okay um all right you guys want to uh want to do a draft here yes please i've done like one fast draft in the last four days i need to feel alive it's been so sad if you guys want we can all draft together there's 11 spots for a husky uh or you're welcome to draft with me it's all up to you if you're trying to maximize your drafting time down the home stretch go ahead and join me either way i'm gonna i'm gonna click right now and see if i get in oh wow there we go nine spots uh oh sure yeah let's do one v one v one v one yeah why not i mean we're all trying to get some volume in here heads up for rolls us buddy heads up for rolls us one time what are you scared i am i am scared i just yeah i just saw you know a big viral poker video going around on on on the timeline so and i know you guys have the background so yeah wait what went around on the timeline there was a poker hand going viral it was like for like i think it was a cash game uh like for like for like over a million dollars and the guy like raised on like a total bluff just an absolute bluff and the other guy had uh john could explain the hand so much better if he saw it but the the the other guy was holding a flush of of diamonds okay yeah and he was holding and the guy that was bluffing was holding clubs and he had a club on the on the flop uh yeah it was uh and yeah he just like went on it was it was crazy i couldn't yeah yeah pat pat knows biggest pot in high stakes history wow yeah so they've been running yeah they've been running for like a year and a half and they've been running for like a year and a half they've been running some like uh super sick high stakes games right now on um like literally on high stakes poker but like that rotating cast of guys gets together like three or four times a year with like roble and texas mike and all those guys so yeah i've been uh watching a little bit of it as i go to bed at night but i haven't fully caught up on all of it but yeah the hand i think you're talking about was like the jack 10 suited with roble i think so he was holding clubs the other guy was holding diamonds yeah it was like a semi-blocked club and he was like oh my god i'm i think yeah yeah yeah i mean i you you know the you know the the math and dynamics of that like much better than i do but i was just kind of just the fact that there was a million dollars being thrown around on on on on the chance that the guy would fold is just crazy especially given the the way that the table was i was like man like if you're wrong like this dude is not gonna like i don't know how the guy that was holding the flush could even like waver you know what i mean like i guess he just kind of had to slow play it but he was like he knew damn well that like dude like it's it's one of those spots where it's like it's the perfect perfect semi-bluff what is this wow people going crazy out here in the time box nobody runs better than than warner man are you kidding me tomorrow's chase at six is that good is that good it's that everybody's gotta everybody's gotta show off for their goat when when john's on on stream insane man i love it no they were we were just looking at the uh the lions implied team totals now we're all we're all frothy here for yeah for lions they're fun man they are they are certainly fun i'm only drafting uh wide receivers who have lines higher than 70.5 uh in the lobby for my entire draft there you go yeah that'll last long uh all right so we have john from the lobby and john from the lobby and john from the lobby and from the six did get roto run uh or get jamar chase there and then nez is right after him gets jsn everybody's getting gifts do i get one uh the one faller okay i do get one we all get one not bad not bad yeah there we go um let's see here uh let's do some let's do some omari and hampton uh two week seven buys that's a no-no um we'll do chase brown uh for fun i'm pretty sure and i'm you know forgive me for not knowing your underdog handle gas but i think that's that's uh that's my guy gaz uh next to you pete who uh entered the initial so you think you can tout oh yeah contest yeah yeah he's the uh the retired guy that now that now uh is full-time dgen uh it seems like has he been making content since his submission just yeah he'd post some lines here and there and i know he was looking at some uh some inquiries that are some applications openings that were that were up around around the industry so uh rooting for him he's he's still yeah he's he's he's he's in here uh most days so yeah shout out gaz shout out gaz all right uh yeah what are you guys doing with genti crutches takes him here at 17 i know he wasn't practicing today are you guys kind of like good price on him here or obviously this is time box so different um in that regard yeah no it's tough man i think i probably would have gone genti but could have been tempted with like george pickens there i think in the time box just like pulling him up or aj brown uh and in a time box but i think it does seem like genti's gonna play week one even though he's not practicing today i mean it's not they have one more week until you know game week so i could totally just like see him resting this week and then coming back next week yeah still a ridiculous situation doesn't make doesn't make any doesn't make any of what happened any more excusable sure doesn't yeah i've been kind of just soft fading that offense in a vacuum so i'll just continue to do so especially in a time box contest where like the combo doesn't matter as much to me um i i do think the one interesting decision point for me there i was hoping a-chan would fall because that'd be a unique combination and an interesting start i i i mean i like neighbors more than aj brown but i was a little skittish on some of the neighbors at the podium comments yesterday like just him talking about like hey i might look good but i'm not 100 good kind of vibe yeah Yeah, I mean, and he doesn't seem like – he just seems like a straight shooter. You know what I mean? So I don't think that that was, like, game theory. I don't think that was him, like, slow playing. Maybe he is. Maybe he was, like, media trained to this injury and Harbaugh was like, hey, man, don't let on that, like, you know, that you're good, but you're good. I think he's telling the truth. So, yeah, I don't love that. I don't love that. I'm not sure it is hard whenever you're coming off an injury like that and all this rehab to, like, go out and take a hit. I bet it is a very tough mental hurdle to get over. John starts chase. Neighbors is on the clock now, middle of the third. What's he going to do? I'm going to be kind of boring. I'm going to take Breece here. I like the stance that Matthew Barry took on his love hates and his ride or dies with the Devonta Smith stuff there, but I think he's just so – I think he's just so frequently paired with chase on the left side that I think I'll just go ahead and fill the running back slot here and hope Breece can catch, you know, 60 balls this year. And Nez starts JSN Devontae Chan and does grab Devontae Smith, which means Trey McBride falls to crutches at 32. I started James Cook and Chase Brown, just deciding how much I want to show off here. I was just going to ask there that we haven't done a ton of Chase Brown over that, like, big dog. Ken Walker, et cetera, tier there. Is that a bag hedge move in the time box here, Pete? Which one? Chase Brown? Yeah, I'm just, yeah, trying to get a little bit more Chase Brown. I've also been trying to get a little bit more Hampton. You know, if this Keith Mitchell stuff, I feel like we still haven't gotten clarity on what's going on with him. He was just standing on the sideline at practice yesterday. It's kind of concerning. Yeah, I don't love it. I don't love it. But to be fair, no beats have said anything. It's been all, like, content creators. That we've just been, like, pointing out. Be like, see? See? Like, they said. David Davis kind of took the mantle on that one. So, I'm going to take Jalen Waddell and my quant. Derek Carr has me on Javison Williams there. So, yeah, we're a little Jalen Waddell, J-Mo turn. 37 shows with Nez this offseason here. And eight minutes with Derek Carr got us on Waymo. No. It's different coming from Carr. No, I will say the Gretsch gave a really impassioned J-Mo take when we did our main event with him and Sean. And Gretsch has been calling him kind of like the George Pickens this year. And it's funny because the two guys I took here I think are the best candidates for this year's George Pickens. Jalen Waddell, obviously, the one who actually changed teams. But he just sees. And I think looking at that number we looked at in the lobby was kind of the point I was making where it's like, they are not. They are not forecasting J-Mo as this clear two. They're saying he's going to be right up there, you know, feasting with almond rock. Yeah. Yeah. No, it's. This is what I've been doing because, you know, I love a good bit. And I also really do feel very strongly about the player Waymo. So, like, if I'm on the right side of the board, I actually, you know, I tell myself, oh, this is great. Like, now I now I get a guaranteed Waymo share because he's he'll be here in the fourth. So that's what I do quite a bit. I'll have a pretty comical Waymo. Tag for sure. This season. Yeah. Did I miss our daily Eggers love? No, I might have have. I might have this set to members only YouTube chat. And this is how I officially get Eggers boxed out because he said he's a troll, but I can't give that up there for just a second. Forever in our hearts. We should mention just the the structure here for this. This one, just because it is a little different. It's a three of 12 advance out of round one, then two of eight. So effectively a one of four in round 15, round 16, week 16 is a one of six. And then I would say a moderately sized 117 seat final. So definitely week 17 and the regular season. They're kind of stand out as got to advance and got to be able to outscore 116 teams. Yep. And then also for making the finals, it is your money back. So it is $400 for for crack in the final. So a little bit of week 16 edge there. If you're if you're adjusting the solver sliders, give that a give that a tick. Yep. 117. Yeah. So that's for maxing. Correct. Yeah. Yeah. Correct. To max this bad boy. Yep. Yeah. One of my favorite structures for sure. We're missing a zero in the banner there. I don't want the people to. Oh, you're right here to get to turn from this. Looks like looks like you're you're European and it's $50 up top. Yeah, exactly. Everybody got pay 40 and you can maybe win 50. All right. John went. So Nez went with Swift and then John grabbed a burden there in the fourth. John's back on the clock in the fifth here. Yeah, I'm deciding between just. Slapping it up here or if I want to get a little bit more of a balanced approach and I think it's just time to go a slopzilla on everything. Yeah, I knew it. No, I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. Dang. I am. I am. I just like a total coward for not loving Jadarian price this season. No, I don't think so. I feel like everyone kind of is making me feel like a coward. Like I need to just be like slamming him in like he's a first round. I pick what don't you get take them and then like I mean do charms. I mean Charles going to come back for the most important part of this contest and I don't think he's going anywhere. Yeah, necessarily worried about the other guys, but like yeah, I mean the team loves sharps so effing much like, you know, they loved him enough to use a 5050 backfield with Ken Walker despite wanting to pay Ken Walker and keep him around that sort of thing. So I do see that side of the argument the other side of the argument. Is a manual Wilson might start on pop as well and like you're dealing with a backfield. That's like a first round pick engineering and price and George Helani. So like it's kind of like yeah, maybe you can just do enough with the role in the first four weeks that nothing matters, you know, like there's there is a world and range of outcomes where 22 touches a week for Jadarian price happens for the first four weeks of the season on a team that won the Super Bowl and he just like. Rips off 120 week over week and you're like combined 120 week over week and you're like holy shit. Yeah, sharps can come back and he can have six to eight touches, but it doesn't necessarily matter. So week one, they're three and a half point favorites Jadarian price scrimmage yards. It's got to be lower than Lloyd. It's probably like 53 and a half. Yeah, I was gonna say 58 and a half 61 and a half. So yeah, yeah, not bad. Not bad. Um, yeah, no, he just it's just that that late season play that that really, really concerns me. Sure, but yeah, it's I get it first round pick on a suit on the Super Bowl champs. I think too and you know, maybe not to, you know, hedge out of, you know, taking a strong stand one way or the other, you know, in BBM, you know, I think price still what he could offer in those giant pods there at the end, whereas in maybe in these smaller contests, maybe a little too frothy. I did like with price and Stevenson going ahead. I went ahead and took Judkins and Trevion Henderson. I thought about Tyler Warren who falls back to Nez. I think he's a good pick there, but decided scooping up Judkins and Henderson was good. And then John pulls the trigger on sixth round. Jalen hurts to pair with Devante Smith didn't want to or sorry. No, Devante Smith naked naked Jalen hurts. That's how we roll. Maybe. I thought hurts, you know, off chance that hurts would have would have fallen back, but no, I thought wrong. Yeah, that's an interesting spot, John, because you have you could certainly justify Caleb with burden. You can justify chase with Burrow because those guys, I guess Caleb sometimes comes back to, you know, yeah, they're at my my mental locked in for this draft was six round quarterback and it was going to be Burrow and then Burrow went on the other side of the board to the Higgins. So then I was just kind of like, all right, I mean, if we could full reset the clock on this draft, maybe taking AJ Brown over neighbors is sharper for the unique combo plus then may is there for me and it all makes sense. But yeah. Yep. Let's see. So yeah, Nez gets a Warren in Rome, a dunes a in five six. John has hurts and Parker Washington. John. John will be on the clock again. Would you go double quarterback with with Caleb if he comes here? Potentially like he's sitting there, but I'm just not like a huge Caleb guy in a vacuum like I'm fine just having my exposure through burden, I think, but we'll see. I have two guys in the queue right now and Caleb's one of them. So if the other one gets selected, then probably there's your Marshawn Lloyd price watch. Caleb does go Marshawn Lloyd goes at 76 to the Kyron Williams drafter in John snap picks Rico Dowdle. famously is projected to out scrimmage yard Jalen Warren it's actually It's actually crazy that I get eight picks of value on the Warren Fish because they didn't look at the first week lines. It's crazy that that just happens like that. And Godwin goes, good pick, Nez. Let's see, what am I looking at here? Waddle and Jamo. Yeah, go ahead. Sorry, I don't want to say the name of one more guy I want to look at for week one until he's off the board, and then I want to look, okay? Okay. Yeah, I got everything ready to go. Now, it's your time. We go V. We go V. Ask your prescriber about We Go V, some maglutide injection 2.4 milligrams, a GLP-1. Call 1-833-4WEGOV or visit wegov.com to view the medication guide and to learn more about We Go V. Why wait? We go V. this is unfortunately going to affect uh the way i draft looking at these we like these meaningless for the season week one uh these week one lines is unfortunately going to have like a grave effect on my drafting um i'm just starting to have fun here and just i'm kind of doing my heart of hearts picks here as i look and just like who brings me joy so i'm going to grab josh downs and matthew golden here i'm going to pass on addison courtland sutton michael wilson alec pierce who's dribbling right after too it's get your guys season on that corner that's what it's what it's all about man this is what this is what the time box is for yeah getting your guys i think stripling is in play there uh so i have james cook chase brown judkins and henderson at running back and then four wide receivers as well waddle jmo josh downs nez grabs laporta as his second tight end and then john grabs chuba hubbard at 91 i mean my only thing about that like pat and i got chuba at like 115 in a bbm he seems to be falling still a ton there but i think he's a good pick yeah so that was the one i wanted to uh look at the chuba versus jonathan brooks week one and then i also like the one that go easy cards put in the the chat that was pretty smart is the bucky verse gain well as well but yeah they're not giving us anything for for that but we do have uh and i'm like i have my pick'em lobby set to percentages instead of multipliers so uh but this is a uh a strong percentage for jonathan brooks touchdown of uh 33 so or yeah so not not not not great actually hmm yeah yeah yeah that's that's bearish yeah gathering my bearings multiplier of low is better percentage of low is worse yeah so that that that ain't it uh and then let's see here yeah nez you get that uh second tight end here with laporta chuba for john and let's see what john is going to cook up here uh of course the amon ross st brown drafter was going to take jared goff at pick 99 so i can't stack up jmo it is what it is we'll survive yeah i was kind of hoping to take him myself with that laporta pick but uh just just uh it was you know it was spiteful in nature but i still like golf on a season-long basis so it's just you know two birds one stone all right john you got a clock john oh jackson dart john i thought you were going to go a different direction there uh bill was sitting there for you for the taking but maybe we're a little too too worried about this uh this commander's offensive line yeah i i don't have a ton of bill this year i actually probably would have taken dobbins over bill i was staring at dobbins versus dart from a structural but i kind of like doing the two quarterback build and i made the big neighbors bet so why not make the the double down with dart i think dart might end up being my highest drafted quarterback but that's a lot of correlation in that one i guess it's a fun pick though yeah uh i lost out on nix was excited to stack him up with waddle um this is going to be a jordan love pick for me so i don't get boxed out at quarterback and then i'm also going to grab harold fannin as my tight end so i have a one four four one nez has no quarterbacks three running backs four wide receivers two tight ends and john has a two three four zero build there so let's see what does nez need at at quarterback you you got some options i yeah this is definitely like last call for me so we'll see what what comes back i should be good aaron's got two qbs crutches his two qbs uh i could go unstacked here because i was gonna throw kyler murray on our on our slides but he his his projection went down i looked the other day and that's what inspired me and kyler was at like 260 passing the ball and rushing and i was like oh my god i do not have enough kyler murray uh and then he went down like 15 yards and is now sitting at like 22 48 and a half rushing and receipt or passing and rushing but at the end of the day i think that that looks pretty good for for kyler so yeah that's it's he's definitely one of like the most important players this season yep uh and john grabs gainwell here um find you a man that can draft breeze hall and then also grab rico chuba and gainwell you can i uh yeah i was a little torn there because i had kincaid in the queue as well and i was like maybe there's an off chance that kincaid makes it back i want to be the guy that makes the kincaid bet but um yeah i don't know this pocket a tight end i i kind of might have missed the window a little bit um by trying to push that yeah uh i don't know man it's just like you're never really boxed out yeah right exactly dude like if you're boxed out okay draft four and you immediately have a cromulent room right and i have the likely and goddard back stack outs i just didn't want to do both i wanted to do one of them yeah and let's see i mean what is likely's price he's okay that's right at about 80p where you pick so that that gives you uh the option nicely his his uh his receiving okay i thought it was a little bit better i mean it's it's maybe not bad what do you guys what do you guys think for likely just a continuation of the game 46 and a half uh it's 34 and a half sorry i'm deciding here i know it's a 40 draft man it's a big deal no likely anyhow i was yeah i i i don't have a ton of likely i get it i get the thesis there was some bullish stuff in um herzig's ff and 60 email yesterday morning with like the cutdowns and stuff like that but um i don't know i i kind of want that turn back the i want i kind of wish i went kincaid over gainwell and then i had the optionality to take a second tight end or to pivot to uh another player that has yet to be named hmm yeah what are you guys doing with is like jacobs off your guys's board are you finding a price for him full transfer that's who i was talking about yeah i think you know etr has him at 118 we're at 131 here i have a good base with cook brown judkins and hendo and i have a green bay stack i will probably eat that pick but i don't love it i know right there's it's it's such like a conundrum because like what so it's like a game of chicken between uh like jacobs in the league right now do you think you think if i slide this up do you think uh salt or a sidekick is suggesting jacobs too yeah yeah uh i am going to grab jones because i don't want to get boxed out at quarterback and i have downs i'm going to go ahead and take my first post exempt list share of josh jacobs i mean that the the archetype of running backs that go in this range that can you know win you a slate like even if it kind of feels like i was trying to make the comp this morning but i didn't go back and research it enough to fully do it but like you guys remember the deandre hopkins arizona six game suspension for the ped stuff it kind of feels like that does it not where it's like this is an established guy i mean maybe jacobs isn't a hall of famer like deandre hopkins but like this is an established guy with a role that i don't think he could ever lose even if lloyd comes out and go scorched earth in the first five weeks but maybe i'm wrong about that yeah um i i i think that lloyd does have that ceiling of like how do you put the toothpaste back in the tube but um jacobs definitely comes back with a rule you know like he comes back and yeah but there's just so many ways that this thing can can play out you know it's like so jacobs can like just chill on the exemplist get paid from my understanding and just kind of you know let let this play out and maybe he doesn't ever get lifted because they don't want him on the field while this is ongoing which to me kind of feels like why they put him on the exemplist if they were going to hit him with the suspension you know why not just like hit him with the suspension so they're kind of like you know kind of covering their ass here a little bit and maybe jacobs is like okay if i sit on the exemplist and get paid this year and then this thing plays out and then i get suspended next year and nobody wants to be on the exemplist and then i get suspended next year and nobody wants to be on the exemplist and then this thing plays out and then i get suspended next year and nobody wants to offer me a contract like that's bad or you know i can like plead guilty and then get hit with my suspension come back this year like lose those half games then somebody will offer me a contract next season like to me that that was like my read of the whole thing but yeah i mean like i don't want to get too granular with like the disgusting act of like the video shit like that but it's like that ended ray rice's career and like how fucking difference does it look and i don't want to get too granular with like the disgusting act of like the video shit like that more lenient in recent years which is kind of fucked up just in a vacuum to say out loud but like because kareem hunt came back zeke came back all these other guys and then the precedent was set that it's just like six games do your time and then you're back despite how heinous it looks like joe mixon same thing like i don't know man it's just the precedent is there but like for my money it's just like dude you're not that special like get the fuck out of the league but yeah yeah yeah it's it's crazy that it all kind of works out but i don't know man i don't know man i don't kind of hinges upon that anything else you want to say about the pick i just made well uh i definitely think that that's like he goes he goes earlier than that and uh in bbm now i think hey i mean stat chasing took him last night too i know oh my god poor squares squares is like the one thing i don't want to do is take josh jacobs i don't think he plays football again this year he wants marshall lloyd next thing next thing i do i tune in no marshall lloyd and josh jacobs is on the roster i'm like what the hell happened here oh my god squares there you go nez nez has been uh pick'em lobby influenced thanks jaylen mcmillan hey man if jaylen mcmillan's suiting up and we're getting 43 and a half come on man come on it's time to put some respect on old jay mcmillian's name here uh yeah this is it's gonna be an interesting interesting receiver room for for week one for sure they want again have been labeled day-to-day week-to-week by good old todd bowles so uh not knowing that those things are you know much different um geez all of my targets gone there um i will go ahead i need some more wide receivers let's add pat bryant to jaylen waddle even though we don't have um bow nicks and then ah this is a tight end pick for me probably i think all these wide receivers yeah pretty flat pretty good range of tight ends for you if you wanted to do that yeah we're looking at strange henry t ferg let's have some fun we'll get an eat your vegetables with a final pick to cover week 11 we'll uh we'll have some fun with terrence ferguson at adp slap it up buddy not slap it up are you scared of tutu at will listen man chef there keeps like he's like grinning ear to ear just like don't wait don't forget about puka guys like puka still has a decision to be made like he can't like he loves playing like you know like the like fortune teller on this shit so it does kind of make me believe that there is some sort of slap on the wrist coming for puka um and they are just like deciding if it's like one or two games i think and maybe it could be more uh i i i think it's probably like a one to two game thing and i do think it is happening just based on the way that chapter keeps like alluding to it um yeah the league did not have a great off season um you know it's not like they it's not like they ever do but this was definitely uh one for the for the books the uh this tweet i just saw so funny from cody main uh he says discovering that i'm too pre-season pilled to be a successful best ball bro all of these 20th round picks look like just watching fourth round or uh yeah i've been loving his his best ball bro tweet like just like the the uh you know the emergence of him in the best ball streets has been has been great that is a dangerous combination it's kind of like being a dynasty bro too like hopping in big board drafts and you just take like night you know night teed rookies i know man i know all right uh recapping here so i did uh pat bryant in ferguson here nez came back with jaylen mcmillan and chris bell we were talking about him earlier and john um making good on his eagles bet with tank bigsby and don tavian wicks yeah kind of a little bit of a bailout i will freely admit i took hollywood brown in the 18th round last night of a slow draft where i had naked hurts so just to feel alive just to make it move but uh yeah i don't know i i don't have a ton of don tavian wicks so why not get it in the 40 contest here yep i was tempted with the hunter henry but i think for a third tight end i'm gonna find a piece that like better uh later and once making the hurts bet it feels intelligent to make the wicks bet here yeah for sure all right what do we have here len in the chat says he sent over the week one slide shipper here uh jamo he slid to 129.5 receiving yards stribling six and a half receptions that's not even that crazy it's not even that crazy let's see we do have an nfl discount that we can use or i have just my 30 boost um what does a boost do this one this sends us to 280 got it got it or what's the discount here okay this is just adding someone i don't want to complicate this with another oh this is like a season-long boost um oh i don't know i don't know if i want to do that let's go back to the 30 boost but i'll drop this in the chat here uh nezzy clock yeah i'm i'm i'm here thanks okay all right 30 boost deciding if i want naji harris or not you know just give me a second all right this is this i'm putting the full 50 on this uh this is uh fifty dollars to win fourteen thousand uh len let's let's have some fun we've it's all about right here yeah yeah we got one from off it on the clock or was it from the friday show that involved len as well for the entirety of the week one from like a month ago and it was the ferg and pat bryant or whatever slides so we have a thirty thousand one open right now too so good so have you guys have you guys messed around with the million dollar game yet yeah yeah i just got about it i just got that in my lobby i didn't know the mechanics of it until i got in there and i was like oh okay like this is totally just like you know uh a yolo you know you just you just you know i'm going you know you you wager you choose how much of the million you want to like split so like you know you could be like i think people see that and they go i'll just like split it down the middle and go from five hundred thousand to two hundred fifty thousand and then like all the way and then you end up with a dollar and it's like well congrats on your dollar uh i'm i'm i'm full send for at least ten picks and we'll see what happens i only have college football options for me so uh i you know had to invoke a buddy to help me out with with the with the selection there so uh one million uh going right now for me on uh is it in i don't know where it lives actually i don't think it lives in the pick'em lobby so uh i forget who i even played uh the quarterbacks are falling like a rock here so i went ahead and grabbed cam ward at 181 bryce naji harris uh at 175 john took 174 both of them staying on brand with those picks nez at a 2472 does nez kick the tires on a bryce young here is his qb3 it's a good it's a uh it's a good question there goes there goes uh crutches with with bryce young there um yeah baker and darnold is probably too thin for for comfort so yeah i'm gonna go rogers yeah john how will you play the hits there you go with kate otten yeah i got way too much kate otten this year good you dub boy why not catch 10 touchdowns for your boy good pick i'm i'm enamored with the the games where guys were missing and he got like 10 targets just the fact that i know that's in his bag i'm like okay buddy here we go find the end zone eight plus times for me this year where do you find the one million dollar game thing, mobile, mobile. yeah yeah they're they're rolling it out like uh in waves like i didn't get it at first and i saw other people playing it and i was you know like squidward meme like i don't this looks fun i want to do so it's like yeah like i said like you can choose how much of the million you want to put towards a higher or lower on like one player um and then you know depending on what happens there you keep you know that number depending on what the result was so like i'm going full send so if i lose this first pick it's over but like i'm i'm going all i'm going all the way i think if you do full send like 13 and then you split the rest you i think you can free roll like 7k and bonus bonus plays so yeah yes someone did the ev math the um and i found a thread on it and i was going to retweet it but i didn't know the guy and work and he worked for a different company so i was kind of like okay um but the the the the ev math that oh i gotta make this pick here oh shit malik went he was the only guy he did i he he was a nice pick there at 17-4 breathe in now let it all out with lincoln rejuvenate a multi-sensory feature available in the 2027 navigator suv experience a gentle massage expansive visuals and digital sense to help you relax in anywhere else live coverage sharp analysis real perspective stream now see how fast we can get in oh wow let's have a little fun what a show-off what a two seven seven running backs john wow all right i'm gonna be a coward here i'm gonna i'm gonna take tyron tracy and just lock up the wow not single terry no not not motor i'm surprised that they kept all four man yeah i really am that didn't like bode well for the for the bags but we're still we're still a believer in nausea you know bouncing back off the surgery and being being productive um the sorry just to not fully derail to go back to a million dollar no i lost my train of thought when i was trying to type in i spelt it wrong the first time so that was classic john um the the million dollar uh game uh ev math i think the most you can end up with at the end is like actually if you do it like from an intelligent battering standpoint is a 1k if you get to anything above 1k like you effectively played bad in parentheses um but you can obviously do it you can do it and get there that's my secret i always play bad yeah 1k is the is the kind of like ev math of it so sure there's definitely value in playing regardless oh yeah it's free i just i was doing a heart of hearts draft and really getting my guys and then i just took the two guys that bring me absolute no joy in life uh i got sniped on ridley i would have liked that with ward uh so i grabbed jerry judy and evan ingram uh what a fun way to finish a draft excellent ah there goes mcgowan that was definitely uh one i was looking at um i don't think i need another wide receiver i think we're we're pretty good let's go let's just lock in down the nfc east uh here with uh bill katron and naji and tracy i'm gonna stay oh go ahead john i'm gonna stack up odell here it only makes sense you know he made the roster giants lore you gotta get you gotta get some odell backham in your life wow what a fake out for the audio listeners he did take the white odell cooper cup that's right that's right i will say it crutches says anyone but ingram i'm generally on that boat as well i will say i've been slightly influenced by how good of an offseason it sounds like he's had um and i'm just so in on this denver offense that it wouldn't shock me if i look back and you're like who who comes along for the ride when the offense just like fucking pops and it's the tight end here so yeah i'm i'm doing a little bit here because i've done i've done the darnell washington i've done the charlie all of these guys i'll do a little ebony you know what's uh kind of funny is uh i the first we got the tv set up on like saturday night me and my brother-in-law and i was like let's fire it up see what it looks like kind of thing to fire it up and the first thing on was that the end of that uh vikings and broncos preseason game and the only play i saw from the entire game was like complete fourth quarter garbage time three minutes left justin jolly slant route to the house for yards or something like that and i was like buddy i don't know how should i be thinking about this fourth quarter third preseason game and he just houses one incredible and and then he's and then he's a uh and and now he's a dolphin and now he's a dolphin all right let's recap these teams we have a husky draft in the books this is the 40 entry new contest up you can max it for 400 as nez mentioned if you make it to the week 17 finals it means you are at least getting your money back and then competing for the 50 000 up top i went with a three five seven three build here jordan love danny dimes and cam ward james cook chase brown quinshawn judkins trevion henderson and redacted at running back jaylen waddle jmo josh downs matthew golden pat bryant cyrus allen and jerry judy at wide receiver harold fannin terrence ferguson and regrettably evan ingram at tight end nez recap your team here yeah i went with a three six seven two here uh baker double stack sam darnold with jsn and then aaron rogers butt naked uh running backs are devon achan uh deandre swift bill naji harris tyrone tracy and then katron allen we are shout out penn state jsn at wide receiver along with davante smith roma dunzey chris godwin shout out penn state debo bell and then we went tyler warren shout out penn state and then sam reporta at tight end to round things out yeah you really big tribute to levitan they're doing your streamer voice to recap the team and shouting out penn state all at the uh at the same time john what did you cook up um this might be the first two seven six three in my portfolio i know nez loves it uh kind of like a maybe i didn't need the seventh one but hey why not let's have a little fun uh jalen hurts and jackson dart we're gonna be running all over those boys and then we got um breeze hall rico daddle tuba hubbard kenny gainwell tank bigs me zach charbonnet caleb johnson very solid running back room i think uh maybe a little boring in the middle range but usable scores and then it all hinges upon the moon shooters of chase neighbors burden and parker washington going nuke then we get a little bit of a stack with wicks we get a little bit of a stack with wicks we get a little bit of a stack with wicks we get a little bit of a stack with wicks we get some floor points in cooper cup although none of us are smart enough to know where floor points actually come from and then uh isaiah likely mark andrews and kade otten for kind of a vanilla ass um tight end room but at least we get a little stack equity yeah i probably go seventh wide receiver over caleb johnson but i like that i like that team yeah yeah that's that's a lot of fun i'm you know thank you for the shout i'm a big two seven six three guy and uh yeah i like the way that turned uh sorry for taking all your broncos i did not anticipate you uh taking and i love how you are surprised i did this you took unstacked bonex all right so i had squatters rights with jaylen wattle you did this to yourself brother yep um what were you gonna say john uh i was just gonna say i i kind of like the the switch up and all three of us getting in a draft like you know you see so many stream drafts going down and the the dynamic of talking through each pick and stuff like that i with an empty lobby and then like kind of independently think but then also just discuss the direction of the draft i liked that well if you like that you're gonna love tomorrow's ship chasing we have the spite main event draft we were all so sick of trying to come to a consensus that uh we are all in the same one i believe jacob's from the five hole i'm from the eight davis is from the 10 and pat's from the 12. oh it's filled okay yes it were you were you eyeing it i was thinking about it i thought it'd be a lot of fun but like i i i i'll just thought it'd be a spectator and we had a we had a show during that hour so i've already outsourced waivers to uh to frankie uh had to hire uh an additional waiver guy because steph is gonna do pats and she can't do four different waivers from the exact same team so you know yeah that's a conflict of interest uh go ahead yeah i was just gonna say if you bring up the main lobby i'm seeing a couple interesting things going down here four new contests uh five six new contests holy smokes six new contests what In the lobby, covering every price point you could possibly imagine. Holy cow. Mini Golden, single entry, winner take all, $2. Rottweiler, $25 entry, four entry max. German Shepherd, 20 entry max, $5. And the Great Dane II. So if you missed out, four entry max, $250. Look at that. Wow. That is awesome. Beautiful stuff there. And I will say, I know people want one more draft. Here's your choice. It's not a choice because we're going to do something else. But I'm just going to tell you, we are going to go record a roundtable for the masterclass. I actually just published the 2025 data and that chapter. So if you guys are existing masterclass subs, go in there. There's the video for it and the data. This was a nice team effort there. Nez getting us the data. John has a lot of his thoughts. And it was a very fun treat for me because I recorded the video for that. So I just talked as John. And really channeled my inner Canadian for some of that. So, yeah. You just made yourself sound slightly stupider. Is that how you went about it? There was one. So this is what I did. I edited it, John. And I left more of the syntax in this time than I did last go around where I kind of profeshed it up. I really let it fly. But there was one time where you meant to say cyclical. And I'm trying to remember. You wrote secular. You said secular. It's kind of cyclical. That's such a Johnism. Secular. I love it. I was looking at that because I read it twice. I was like, what do you mean by secular? I was like, oh, you mean cyclical. Oh, that's great. So, yes. That existing masterclass subs, you can go check that update. And we're going to have a roundtable riffing on a lot of the stuff there. You know, there's some of the data that really kind of confirms things. Things we thought last year and then some kind of surprising things. And I think we look granular at some of the specific quarterbacks. And I think it'll be fun to talk through how personnel changes could potentially affect how we approach those quarterbacks from like a stack or naked perspective. So, keep an eye out for that. Underdog masterclass subs. You get access to all that for free with your guys' course purchase from last year. Any other programming notes for you guys? Not really. Like, we're going to be a little bit touch and go here the next couple days with the office. You might get some Nez Paywall stuff. You might get, you know, this shitty setup from me. But we're going to have stuff every single day. So, don't worry about that. But, you know, I'm just not deep in the weeds in the baseball stuff right now. So, I feel disingenuous trying to do like a members only baseball with the 50% setup. But we'll be back in full go hopefully by the weekend here. Sweet. Anything for you, Nez? No, I'll be back tomorrow on the bros channel. Probably just me. So, doing a combo football. Probably mostly just football because it'll be a split slate for baseball. So, we got a ton of contests here to draft. Hopefully, most are still here tomorrow. So, we can draft some. All right. Yeah, my stuff. I'm doing Swolecast today. You got ADP chasing tonight. We will have a Wednesday edition of Best Ball Breakfast tomorrow. That will include, we got Eric Beinfour doing our annual draft in Rotopat. I booked Rotopat for one of the draft slots as well. Then, we'll have the ship chasing spite main event draft. That'll be at 2 p.m. Eastern there. And then, tomorrow night, I'm doing Best Ball Bash After Dark Edition. There's been some requests for people to do a night version of one of these for people who can't get away during the day. Tomorrow night is your chance. Any YouTube member will have access to that stream and access to, put their name in the hat. That'll be at 8 p.m. Eastern. And then, yeah, not going to have a ton going on Thursday other than Adam, or sorry, Sam Sherman, Davis, and Pat will be doing a main event draft on Thursday night on ship chasing. And then, Friday, we have the T's and P's Guillotine League. The Guillotine League, Tony Squares and I are putting on. Nez will be there. That'll be a stream on my channel and on that new T's and P's Guillotine channel. We're going to book a bunch of the guests to swing by. Nez, are you able to drop by for a couple of people? Picks on Friday? Yeah, yeah. What time is that again? We're going to kick off the draft at 7.30 p.m. Eastern, but you can swing by whenever. Oh, yeah. Yeah, for sure. So that will be a good time. And I think that is it from us. Fun draft here today. If you guys cook up any fun, pick them slips for week one. Send them over to us. Otherwise, another programming note. Next week, we will be going to Friday. This is our last Tuesday. Tuesday show, right? Yeah, because we're going to go to Friday's. We will figure out the exact details. That's right. Wow. With all of that. But yeah, we are flipping to in-season mode. So we'll have more details coming as far as that. But yeah, so long to Tuesday. So long to the off-season for off and on the clock. We will see you guys next time. Peace. Timberland Pro knows that NASCAR starts long before the green flag waves because behind every race are the doers.
