What do you do for the man who can pass it all? Yes, you can't pass it all, man! Bro, I've been seeing you like everywhere, but I feel like we never have really chopped it up. I saw you at BMF premiere, Paris Fashion Week, then I saw you that wild party the other night, like where everyone was stuck on the Hollywood Hills, but I haven't seen you around. I'm like, we've never really got a chop but up and finally got you on the podcast. Yeah, man. I ended up podcasting a long time. What was the last one you did? I don't even know, it's probably been like very long, like year, it's been a little minute. You did practice club, though. Yeah, yeah. That's kind of like a podcast. Kind of a little bit, yeah. I wouldn't consider that a podcast either, but I'm doing what I don't, but I feel what you're saying. No, no, no, no. You guys are, you fuck with Charlotte Manor now. Yeah, he got it. I like him. I think he's a fucking Charlotte. I think he's a great interviewer, too. Like, yeah, Charlotte Manor do his research. I feel like anybody who can be, you can have that much like audacity a lot of times. You have to have some type of either intellect, right to back it up in from something. Like, that shit is not coming from just like a ignorant place. Yeah, yeah, no, like, no, you ain't got much of an accident. Yeah, so today we got our boy, DDG in here. Chris Lofton guest host. Yes, sir. We've been trying to get you on for a minute. I'm glad we finally got it. But bro, like, you've been fucking killing it. Like, honestly, it's, it's awesome to watch. The streaming, the music, like everything. Chris was telling me you made five M's on Snapchat. Is that true? I was watching some clips. Five M's on over his five M's. I watched some clips. It was like in 2024, some shit. It was like, yo, in 2024, it was you. I remember you say you and Chloe Kardashian. Yeah, it was the two that started that Snapchat shit. Well, we didn't start it, but we like, we was like the top view people that took off. I used to get like, 100, 200 million views. Like, crazy. Yeah, I saw one. He was like, that shit said like 1.4 billion views or some shit or something. I saw it. It was crazy. I made like 6K one month and I was like, fuck it. 500 man is nuts. Nah, he used to be really good. But you know, they kind of, they got a little oversaturated. So the money got, you know, diluted a little bit. Yeah, I feel like stuff can get oversaturated like that. Do you feel like that's the case or will be the case with streaming? Or do you feel like, I mean, you've solidified yourself as like one of the top ones now. So like once you surpass that, you don't get in that saturation. But yeah, I mean, it's already oversaturated though. Yeah, it's like, everybody want to do it. But what was streaming is easy to like put people to fizzle out. They just want to try it because it's hype. Because it's a lot of work and they don't grow quick at all. So it's like, that should take years to get to a point where you make and money you really care about, you know? Yeah, that's it's actually the same way with acting. Like, it's very similar. Like people just want to be like, there's a lot of rappers and stuff like that. Or athletes are like, I want to be an actor. You got to put it in time. You got to put with anything. Same thing with music, same thing with anything. So, what was like, did you move to LA or Atlanta? Like, what was your first inkling of like streaming or entertainment of any of that? I moved LA from Michigan. Uh-huh. Oh, what part of Michigan? Pontiac Michigan. Oh, right, right. No, is it? Yeah, I'm from Chicago. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm from Pontiac Michigan. So, I moved to LA in like 2016 and then from there. Like, I was already doing YouTube before. Oh, five. So, you were vlogging in Michigan? Yeah, like, people call me a streamer. Yeah. But I just started streaming last year for real. I've been had a little channel. But like, I ain't really, yeah, I had like a Twitch channel since like 2016. Okay. But I never really used it until like 2025. Yeah. But I used it every day like I stream for like seven months straight. Not missing one day. That's what it's about. That's what it's about, bro. Like, I got a newfound respect for that shit. Even because I talked to him. I'll be trying to get him to go live on TikTok for so long. Cause like, bro, I just, I've discovered that like maybe six, seven months ago. And I'm like, damn, I can only imagine what like streamers, what y'all actually doing and what y'all getting. Cause I saw those little couple payouts to my PayPal. I said, yeah, off the Tik Tok lap. I was like, there's no way I can imagine the DDG and cause of the world with y'all going over there. So I'm like, bro, that's just got to be crazy. Yeah. And I also got a newfound respect for y'all when I went to y'all, career to the Capitol Hallex career. Bro, that shit, it's not, it's, let me look at the car. It is not what you think them boys is in there running a real business, bro. It's not just no free for all, bro, because I was in there. I sat down, watched them hold a real meeting. Like a team meeting, like we would do because our own restaurants. Like this is what we do before we start the shift with our whole team. Front of house, back of house, the GM. They had a whole meeting. Forty some people in the living room, like giving people their proper respect, shutting out to the crew member, shutting out to this person. What they goals were for today. Who's going to be in the house show everybody respect this, this, this. We're going to clip this. This room is available. This is available. I'm like, bro, these fingers in here. Yeah. What a well-oiled machine. Now that Chris just aired out his whole business. No, I get it. Bro, it was just like it was impressive, bro. Yeah. It just made me respect the 10 times more because I feel like when you're not in it, you just look at it like, bro, they just sit in the front of the computer. He's talking, bro, bro, no, bro, I walked in that career. Bro, like, nigga, I signed an iPad to sign another iPad. A nigga in a suit come to get me, bring me up here. I'm just going to take a quick picture of you real quick. Now everyone in the house knows you're here and what you look like. So they'll be, I'm going to put it in there. Bro, well, oil. Is that where you live now? Do you still live in that crib? Yeah, I mean, I, I'd be there. Like, that's not like my primary place of residence. But like, it's, I'd be there a lot, yeah. So, so you were popping in Michigan or it didn't start popping until you got to LA? I was semi-popping in Michigan. Fire. And then you like, yeah, like I, that like my starting like college, like the YouTube shit. And then I was like growing pretty frequent over like my sophomore, going into my sophomore year, summertime. And then I started making a lot of money in college. And then that's when I came out to LA. Did the money come from YouTuber? The money came from brands. YouTube. YouTube, all YouTube revenue. I've never been a big brand deal person. I know, but I feel like now, and now it's oversaturated, the brands are what's paying. Yeah, yeah. That's so much like the YouTube revenue anymore. But, um, so what, where did you go to college? Central Michigan University. And you were just streaming like your, or, or, or, um, vlogging your college? Yeah, I was vlogging. I wouldn't be interested. But like your day in the life, or like parties and shit like that. Like what was the thing? No, I mean, I streamed it. I mean, not, not see. I'm stuck. I know, yeah, it's great. Now I vlogged it like, uh, yeah, I was like vlogging. And then, you know, I, I was in a little relationship and shit. You know, everybody like relationships. So, I was doing all that a couple of content all of that, you know, he's like that. So, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're a lover boy kind of. No, I think I don't want to drop names with a solid K. No, no, okay. That's the one I think I was. No, it was one, it was one, it was a girl before that. Oh, okay, but me and the one you just, yeah, it got together out in L.A. and that everybody starts shipping. You know, I pair social, we'll believe the name. Who isn't? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's his business to tell you. We have been getting clipped enough over the past like three weeks of nonsense. Yeah, but, yeah, I mean, you know, my, the relationships that I've been in has been public. It's not like, you know, it's not like I can like really stop it. Yeah, you know, I made my livelihood off of basically showing at least 40% or 30% of my life. Yeah, that's very easy. So, are you more of a relationship guy or are you more of a single? You are? I don't like being single. Why is that? It's too easy. Oh, it singles the best though. It's cool. I can see that. It's cool, but it's like, it gets to a point where it gets draining. It's like, I don't want to text two, three different girls at once. And like, I don't want to like do that. Yeah, it's hard enough for me to know how one girl's day was. Yeah, like, I don't want to hear that bullshit before. Yeah, I do. I do feel the love of the game. Yeah, he's wild. See now, you're not. Yeah, but it's just too much, bro. And then it's like, it's too much time spent just mentally. Yeah. And it got to be like necessarily time. It's just like mental capacity of like trying to entertain multiple people. I'm like, what's your like ideal date night? Like, if you meet a new girl, like, what's like, I'm going to go do this. So, you were like a dinner guy, a movie guy, like, like, I'm, I'm 28. How do you? I'm 29. Okay. Yeah, I'm 37. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, I like going. You thought you were shot pressing. I'm like, I like going, I like going to bars and shit. Yeah, I'm a bar guy. I'm a bar. Yeah. And I sit at the bar. That's my thing. You're a creep. No, no, no, no. So here's the thing, bro. I know, like, hear me out. Walk with me on this. And I, so to me, especially even on Thursday, yeah, you don't go sit at the table. How you know you're going like her? And it forces you to only be able to talk to her and her as well, right? That's when she can get uncomfortable. She can get a little silent. Those awkward moments of silence. It's all I mean. But maybe not with you, but you don't know if she really like it. You take her to the bar, though, right? It don't look. If somebody was to walk in and see you.
It doesn't look as personable and secluded it don't you might not even be a date That could be a friend that could be a business associate it could be whatever Because we sit side-by-side at a bar. Nobody less people in your business and if she born and you know You're all like born chicks if she's born you could like segue it with maybe I'm gonna talk to this person who's sitting at the bar Across or I'm gonna say something to the waiter the bartender to break this ice a little bit And maybe she'll come around and make a comment. Yeah, it's just better and you get better serves Yeah, like you don't take you 17 minutes to get a water 27 minutes together Old-fashioned when you at the bar, but that's what it take if you sit your hands up a tape Yeah, I guess I can see that so are you going on a date with a girl like you bring in like the homies you bringing security? Are you going dola with the girl? I? Mean it depends on where I'm going if it's like a particular place in L.A. where I feel like you know, I can People know me and all of that and I bring like security and I'm not gonna bring my homie Yeah, I don't know like sometimes the way people move like I have the homies just like here just in case like I'm gonna take with the girl, but I get that I like doors. I like doing like like a lot of people don't notice about me, but like I like Doing stuff by myself like I don't really like have security all the time. I don't really like doing it as long as I Instreaming right like I'll be out the way. I be in the places. You don't think I'm a b. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like I don't go to the most I don't go to the most poppin bar. I don't go to the money. You know what I mean? I go to shit where it's like You white white folks 60 plus I love being alone and I'm like you I'm a ghost somewhere where you don't expect me to be or where I know nobody in here knows who the fuck I am they never seen one episode of power. They never seen it. I was just a niggah in here to them Drinking $7 p.b. R.s with a white ass. I'm going down the ingle one. I'm like This is a low-key spot downtown called the Golden Gofer bro. Yeah, you know, you know, you get that feeling where you lie Okay, let me go here get a relationship. I've never gotten that really never got that feeling It's so crazy to me. I'm like why do people want to be in a real? I love being like like a best night ever for me It's just like with the boys laughing. I'm like if you got a girl. You can't really do that I do that like five six nights a week. Yeah, like you were their girl like you now you got a kid too So like you got to like be at home. You got to be with I'm like a family's just not for me Nice it's cool because it added a different dynamic like You gonna get tired of doing that shit at some point me and Leo 60 years old in the club together I don't think he will know bro. I've been with this dude for a little minute now I'm getting less and less interested in a relationship. No, what we got to do is before this podcast is over I'm gonna make sure he adds you to his close friends on Instagram. All right, did I add you give him about Give him about I don't know what you got planned this weekend But give him a solid week before you want to follow him before you stop him Yeah, I promise you Nick give him about eight to ten days to entertain you on the green circle though Not the regular cuz you know he's still he got deals to secure so but when that Circle pop up to promise you when that green circle pop up ddg tell me you're not entertained I don't even want him to get in a relationship because I'm gonna lose my entertain But yeah, I don't know that's just that's just kind of how I how I am but I don't know people are different and I respect that Like I like that you like that because I would want to be like that, but I'm like I just I just can't yeah What does a DM what does a ddg's DM's look like actually that's a great question at your level like I Know names you really want him. Yes, like I just want to look like because it's like bro Like from people on the outside looking in and I was on TikTok live today before I came and I was like you know They fuck with you. I say yo. I'm gonna be interviewing ddg today. What are some questions? Mm-hmm and a lot of dudes was like I Wonder what it's like to open ddg's And I was like I got you I'm gonna ask I'm man. I'm not really like a DM type of dude But like I have like I've gotten it relates to some like DMing girls and shit, but It's real simple. I just say yo That's it you just slide in with it. I don't like to I don't like to flirt. Yeah, like I'm like I'm like the I don't want no girl to feel pressured like I don't know how dudes approach girls on some like aggressive shit Yeah, I'm more like, you know, what's up boom? You interested or not? Yeah, it's like if if a girl is interested the simplest Approach is going to work because they want to try to yeah, so you know the yo gonna come with hey with two wise Or an ain't do you want to wise cuz I think shit like that matters like if it's two wise Two wise they going you good. Yeah, you in there, but if it's like hey if it's a period or if or if it's high It's over with I just say for us that don't make five mil a month on snapchat We can't just say yo brother. We gotta come with a little Nowadays though, too though. Yeah, but I ain't gonna lie like I don't really For some reason I don't really like one girl shot talk to me. Okay, see mine is I Get some people that actually shoot at me in the DMs, but it's all the undesirable. Yeah, it's never the ones that I would actually want The ones that actually come at me in the DM sending me those videos and pictures that disappear It's I would not have asked you for this photo. Have you not just sent it on your own. Please don't send this me ever again Never do it like the girls that do that. Please stop cuz it's not the desirable. And that's goes there Yeah, no, it's been girls though. That's like, you know, they might try to talk to me. That's like okay cool for show But like for the most part, you know, I like I like the concept of Talk to the girl not necessarily the chase, but just like you know, yeah, I feel like this is a dude's job Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know if a girl's pursuing you, you're kind of like Yeah, yeah, like you know, it's I have who else have you pursued, right? Like make you feel cheap. Yeah, yeah, you just talk to every nigga, huh? Yeah, this is just what you do. I'm feeling girl. It's just a little horde, but no, that's what you know, what I found that for us like After power for me like a lot of people say like oh, how is it with the ladies now cuz you're on a hit show blah blah blah blah blah And what's crazy is I honestly think I got more women when I wasn't on power because of shit Like that like I go out of town. I'm hosting a party in Miami wherever, right? I mean a chick if I wasn't on power Probably would have smashed tonight. Yeah, but because I'm on power. They want to be the one to tell you now Yeah, they want to dare to be different or some shit. They want to hit me with the you know what I'm saying? Hey, I feel you don't feel you know, I feel you can just like wait. So this is just what you do Every time you see that you go to you got a different one. Ha ha, you know when the next time you coming back to fill it Yeah, yeah, I feel that cuz yeah, that'd be that'd be happening to me sometimes like oh you do this all the time like not don't I just like you Yeah, I just want to hang out hey when they say to me, I'm like yes, I do this all I do this all the time No, no, no, no, no, you respond to chicks like that though. I like I don't you'll say something like that Like yeah, no, I actually I did it last week, but what's up? Oh, yeah, I'll do it for the close friends. I'll do it for the bit That's what I'm saying got to get in that green circle. He's in there. He's in there. So so you get to LA is Is the YouTube popping more now that you're in LA and you're in the mix and you're vlogging different stuff? Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I start blowing up when I find when I came out here and what was the content like when you when you came here? It was kind of just like just vlogging lifestyle shit and just like Filming stuff in my homies Literally just just vlogging. Yeah, some of it be like low exaggerating obviously for the sake of entertainment, but just vlogging and you
- Did you bring your homies from Michigan or you met people out here? - I met people out here, but my family came afterwards. - Fire. - So not necessarily like homies. I ain't had no hometown friends that came here and I knew them already. I moved out here with an ex, and then me and her broke up, boom. She went back, I'm out here with Dolor. Then I moved my mom and stuff out here, and then my brother moved itself out here after that. And then it was really like family for real. - Fire. - Yeah. And then so when is the music start coming in? - The music start when I started doing disc tracks. I did music to like really just make money on YouTube at first. I was just dissing YouTubers and shit. 'Cause that was like the wave. And then like, but the views I was getting just wasn't normal. It was like, I did somebody, I get two million views in two days, or I get a million views in a day. And then I'm like, okay, this shit going really good. And then I talk about this all the time, but YouTube money like cut like 80% for like a little bit, 'cause advertisers pulled out because of some racist thing got advertised and advertised then like it so they pulled out whatever, boom. So I'm like, damn, if I wasn't doing YouTube, what would I be doing? I'm like music. So then I was like, let me go ahead and take this shit serious. And I started doing music as I started doing it more seriously and not dissing people with like dropping just real music and really talking about stuff with substance. People gravitated towards it. And then I started basically making music about what I was already vlogging in my life. So like I'll make a singing song about me and a girl going through our little trials and tribulations and people would be able to like visually attach to it because they seen it. So we've all got to go record, sign to epic records. And I just kept making music from there. - Are you still with them? - Yeah. - You still with the same thing. - But I got one more album. - Oh, okay. - I don't know like. - So are you out of deal? - Yeah, but I don't really know like what it consists of. A lot of people, I don't know. I might rerun a label situation and depending, I don't really know what that consists of. But yeah. Your last album did really well. I mean, it was fucking awesome too. That features on that were crazy. Like the album was great. And that one came, you did another album before that. So you had two and was Moonwalkin' Calabasas on that one? - No, Moonwalkin' in Calabasas, that was on, it's called Difer respect, which was like a few years ago, some she liked that. I don't remember when that came out. - That's it came out, 2018, 2019, like 2020. - Oh, it was like that. - It was like that. - Yeah. - But that blew up the music, huh? - I'll, COVID. - But COVID and Moonwalkin' Calabasas. - Yeah, yeah, for sure. - That's what I knew of your music. - Yeah, me too, all of the sudden. - Yeah, Moonwalkin' definitely changed the whole trajectory. But it was kinda like I always wished that Moonwalkin' would have came a little later, or before COVID, because in COVID time, like all I'm seeing, I'm gonna Spotify, I'm seeing a million streams a day, two million streams a day, I'm seeing these numbers, but they don't feel like shit. I mean, I get YouTube videos, I get YouTube views all the time. Versus like if we wasn't in COVID, I could have been outperforming. I could have been, the song would be way bigger if it wasn't COVID time. - You come here, the ground works. - Yeah, I couldn't, people didn't get to see me, in person perform that song, while it was like doing a million streams a day. So it's like, it kinda fucked up the momentum of it, but it still did what it needed to do though. - 100%, so would you prefer, 'cause I was battling with this for a minute too, would you prefer the same success that you have now as a streamer, but you were a rapper with the same amount of success? - Yeah, I rather make music, then streaming, all of that shit. It's because I enjoy the lifestyle that comes with making music. Like it's a more private lifestyle, it's a lot slower, but it's also fast at the same time. It's like you get to see the world, you get to travel to all these different countries, do festivals, do tours, and see all these people that really fuck with you in real life on the internet. But with streaming, it's just a username, or it's just a comment, or it's just a tweet. It's like, okay, cool, but this shit feels fake to me. - Interesting. - It ain't really fulfilling, it ain't asked for filling that's getting on stage, bro. - You're on stage, and you're filling that energy, it's like a dopamine. - It's a hard bro. - You can't get that shit from streaming. - And you feel creative in the studio, like making stuff, and you feel me? - Yeah, I love going to the studio. I love, I went to the studio last night, and I just purposely went on a long-ass drive just to listen to the shit I made, and it's like a bully. - Yeah, it's like a bully. - It's three drive, bro. - Did you get driven in the colony when you go for the driver, you driving? - No, I drive it. - He pulled up today in the colony, we're like, you think he's driving? - We have a man. - I was wrong. I thought he was driving. - No, I was in the back, 'cause I gotta do some most shit after this, bro. - Okay. - I said, he's in the back, we came out to back, I was like, oh, I said $2,000, he get a front. No, he's driving, he's driving, he's driving. - I'll be driving a lot though, like, I-- - I like driving, I like driving, like, it's cool. But, you know, when I got a lot of shit going on, I'd be on the phone too much to be driving a lot of-- - Yeah, I've been on you, yeah. - I mean, you do have a lot of, like, you know, the stuff in that, you know, you're editing, you're doing this, your clips, like, it is a lot of work. Like, I just have a podcast, and I'm like, I couldn't imagine YouTube, Snapchat, and streaming, like, all that. - It's a hustle, bro. - Yeah. - Do you want to say a word? - You say, what? - Do you want to segue, like, to act in and stuff, too? - You know, my first dream job was acting. - Really? - Wow. - Before I got did music YouTube, anything, like, I went to-- - My minor in college was acting. - Oh, why? - Yeah, like, I really wanted to do acting. I came out to LA, I did one independent movie, and we didn't have no trailers. It was obviously an independent movie. It was no trailers, no nothing. It was at a diner. I get to the diner at, like, 5 p.m. I didn't start shooting until 2 a.m. - Yep. Welcome. - And I was like, "Fuck me!" - I'm like, "I'm cool, I love this shit, this ain't my dream no more." - An indie project, because usually with indie, it's like, we got it. - We got it, we got it. - But if you're doing, like, I listen to a lot of podcasts, a lot of interviews of actors, 'cause I fucking love acting. So, like, I know everything there is about it. Like, if you're shooting a Twilight, or if you're on, like, a Marvel movie, you could be waiting in that trailer for a week. - But, look though, it's Marvel. - Fat. - I'm waiting 'em, what? - Bro, I'll sit there for a year. - That's cool. - I'll sit there for a year, not to Marvel. But, like, it is kind of wild. Like, you could be waiting for a literal week. Like, I forgot what actor said this. It was someone on a Marvel movie. And they were saying they could hear the footsteps on the gravel, because everyone was in their trailer. And the footsteps would come, a PA would bring you to set. And they were like, I would hear the footsteps for a week. Just sit in my trailer. All day long, in my trailer, they didn't use me today, 'cause they're shooting so little pages. It's supposed to be an indie. They'll shoot, like, 10 pages a day, 'cause they're running and gunning. - Yeah. - Was it a full movie? Was it a short? - It was a full movie, I think. But I was just in one part. - Right. - So, I was just there, just, and I'm like, man, I hate this shit. - Yeah. - I'm sleepy as hell. - Yeah. - I know, and then you gotta, like, be on after you're sitting in a trailer for eight hours. Like, whatever. - It's sad, like, yeah, and then it's like, I don't know. Like, I always said, if I really wanted to get into deep into acting, I would want to, like, have a Tyler Perry situation. - Were you working a lot on it today? - That, but I'm also, like, it's my shit, like, you know what I mean? Like, it's my production, it's my hours, it's high-quick. I want to get this shit done and how I want my team to get it done versus, like, being on somebody else's time, 'cause I get real impatient with this shit, yeah. - I mean, dude, that's the game of acting, though. - Just up and work. - Yeah, just like, there's shitty, you know, stuff about streaming, shitty stuff about music. Like, I would say that's the shitty thing about acting. Some of the biggest actors in the world say, I get paid, I act for free because I love it. I feel that way too. I act for free, I get paid to wait. - We get paid to wait. - That's what, like, a lot of, like, the big, big, like, the Brad Pitt's and shit like that. Like, I get paid to wait. - But, like, tell 'em, like, 'cause he was on ballers with the rock. - No, yeah. - Tell 'em what the rock would do. - Yeah, no, the rock, bro, like, they used to do this shit. I said this before. Metal work, I think it was on here. - Yeah. - They used to do this thing they call it a "The Wayne Lunch," right, so whatever time the rock just decided to get there, whatever time he could get there, right? No matter what you filming, no matter what's going on, everything stops. Like, nigga, it's over. Like, I don't care Chris, you thought you was gonna go film that scene? No, they break for lunch for an hour and they use that hour. The crew don't even eat lunch during that hour. They let us eat lunch. The crew starts setting up the shots for the rock. And they call it a "The Wayne Lunch," and as soon as he get there, sometimes he'd come in on "Damn Helicopter." - That's real quick. - It's not a guy. - Come in on "Damn Helicopter." They'd be like, all right, that's lunch, everybody. - A hour and a half. - And they'd just start setting up the shot, right? And then, nigga, now I'm waiting six, seven hours 'cause he got to do two scenes. I was about to be there. I'm thinking I only got one scene today. I'm gonna be off early, go kick it. I'm in LA. - So he not got his scenes in dip. - Yeah, he do his two scenes. - But it's kind of like, he has that, you know, he's doing a small HBO show. Not small, but for him. - For him. - For him, at that time, he also was the biggest movie star the world and he's doing an HBO show.
- So they'll move it around for you. - They lose the money to come do that. - Yeah, and I think for you, because of how much motion you have in that world, which Hollywood is trying to figure out, the streaming, the YouTube, Hollywood is still like, they don't know what to do with it. Like, it's weird because you say you think it's over-saturated. Hollywood is like, it's not big enough. How do we figure out getting involved in that? - Right. - So I think you have a, you have an opportunity to do something like that and make your own thing and do it great. And I really would suggest for you to do that, like, to make your own thing. - You can get away with that. - You can get funding. You could do all that shit with how much motion you have in that world. You just have to do it the right way. - Yeah, I'm funding like a motherfucker, bro. - Yeah, they'll do it, they'll do it. - Yeah. - You know what, Woody, like, Woody's doing, he's funding his rom-com, basically, so we off the internet. - Yeah, he's just an actor, but like, you got like a lot of people watching you, like, if you wanted to do something like that, I definitely think you should. How did you like acting, like, itself? - I mean, I enjoy it. I think I'm good at it. It's kind of what you already do like every day. Streaming, YouTube, and it's kind of acting. Like, some stuff is not as exciting as we make it, but, you know, you gotta make it. But, I enjoyed it. It's cool. I don't really like reading though, I'm gonna be honest. - Yeah, it's a lot of reading. - It's a lot of good. - I guess, you know, two scripts a week and you're like, you gotta read 110 pages. I'm like, to see if you even want to do this project. You know, if you want to read for it if you want to. So, it is a lot of reading. - I guess the pages is short in a way, but it's like, at the same time, it's like, I don't know. Do you remember in lines and shit? That's always been something that, you know, I'm not necessarily struggled with, but it's just not at the forefront of what I want to do. - Yeah, it's a muscle though. Like, you'll get better at it. You know, like, if you go home for Christmas and you stop auditioning for like two, three months, whatever, or you're on set and you're like, maybe you still have to memorize, but if you stop memorizing, you'll, the next thing you do, you're like, oh, fuck, I'm not. But if you're consistently like two, three times a week or the, you know, memorizing for auditions, you'll get really good at it, okay, quick. It's like a muscle like an- - So you could damn there, look at it. - Michael's like that. Michael Rainey's like that where he will, 'cause he's been acting since he was five. Like, he'll look at the page and go, like, even, 'cause you watch Ghosts, right? - Yeah. - Like those canonical study scenes, he'll like, it's like this long, he'll go like this, and he'll go like, all right, I got it, and he'll do it one time, like me, I'll have like, are the drugs here and then I'll leave, and I'm like, wait, what was my line again? - Yeah. - He's really, he's really good at it. Some people have different type of memories, but it's a muscle like anything. - Yeah. - It's cool. - Yeah. - Yeah. - That's dope. I was gonna say something. I forgot. Oh, I audition for Power. - Oh, would you audition for it? - Raising Kane. - Oh, for who? - Uh, Lulu. - Oh, for God, he's like- - Probably for parties, Ro. - I forgot, I forgot, I gotta get, I gotta look at the script to see who I was reading for, but I didn't get it. It's okay. - Yeah, it happens. I mean, bro, all this for Power is seven eight times before I got my role. - For real? - Bro, for every single one that comes from the original Power, like audition for 50 Sun, Shawn, the driver, and the original Power, and then Ghost audition for Jabari Reynolds audition for that, and then Kane and audition for Lulu and Marvin, and BMF audition for Lamar Silas, and then I audition for a Genre and they got forced, but I have been auditioned for this shoot. - Never gotten none of them. - It's crazy, that's how it goes, like, it's just all, there's millions of auditions you don't get, and also what sucks about an actor, like the great thing about being a YouTube streamer, music, you do whatever you want. You make it, but the thing is like if it pops, it pops, you know, like you're on your own timing, you're on boss, as opposed to like, you get auditioned a lot, but if you book it, it'll be like, yeah, it's gonna pop, it's power. And that's how to your control, you know? It's supposed to like all that is kind of in your control, so there's like, there's like a positive and negative about it at all. How'd you feel with your scenes that it went? - I didn't, I thought it was cool. I only did a self-tapes, this is like, - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - Things like COVID time, you know, close to it, but that was cool, that was like, I found out what a professional camera is. - Oh, you did right to it? - Yeah, I did, yeah. - Johnny's tapes are crazy, right? - Yeah. - You can see him here's on a professional, is it what you use the FX3? - Yeah. - His self-tapes, it should look like it's already on TV. - Bro. - He sends me his self-tapes when he just has a regular audition. He made me feel like shit, like I ain't working hard enough every time, 'cause I'd be like, damn, I just watched this tape. Okay, no wonder you ain't book it crazy. He'll take it, don't look like Johnny's. - Yeah. - I'm like shit, I'll be a hot. - Dude, but sometimes I watch other people's tapes and I'll see people like shitty tape, shitty stuff, and they'll book and I'll be like, that's just how it goes, bro. - That's how it go. Was there a moment for you, if you had to say this direct deposit hit or this check came in in that moment, 'cause you from Michigan, I'm from Chicago, Midwest. When did you say, nigga, I'm rich. Like I'm, okay, I'm rich. - Shit, when I made my first 100,000, to be honest. - Yeah. - That was interesting. - I remember, I remember, like I remember making my first 100,000 over making my first million. I don't remember making my first million. Like I remember the, exactly where I was at, I was on Fairfax, I was at this place called Birdies or some shit, it was like, it was a yellow building, it was right across the street from like, - The donut of chicken spot birdies? - I don't know, I don't really know, but it's right on Fairfax, you know, you know, Fairfax like, it's like clueless shit. - I know exactly what you're talking about. - I used to be over there all the time, just Dolo. So I had got my little check from YouTube and then I put all my money into one account, it said 100,000, I called my cousin, called my brother, I'm like, yeah, I'm got a honey band. - Crazy. - That's crazy. - Yeah, like that shit, that's when I was like, oh, I made it types, I felt like that. - Like, 'cause you know you can get more in there, like that's what it is. It opened up my brain to just a different level of thinking. It was like, oh shit, like, you just gave me this. Like, if you give me a honey, you'll give me a million. That's how I look at it. - Yeah, yeah. - If I can get somebody, if I can convince a white man to give me a million. - I know, I'm giving it to another one to give me a million. - Whoa, I'm giving you a hundred, Chris. Get on. - Come on. - I feel like, I don't know if you believe in this stuff for like manifestation or like, like law of attraction, stuff like that, but I feel like now that you think that that hundred thousand is attainable and the norm, it comes easier, because that's the norm. Like, I remember when I was working at a restaurant, and like, a $50 tip was like, oh my God. Now, I'm like, I wouldn't even be able to survive if I worked at a restaurant. - Yeah. - The norm changes. So I think like, you chase, you know, kind of like, bigger and bigger afterwards, and like, that becomes a normal. - Yeah, I start making money way quicker. - Yeah. - After that first 100, I'm like, oh yeah, boom. I got to 200 quit. - Yeah. - I got to 300 quit, 400, 500, just kept going. And so, that's dope. - Yeah, that's, I think, yeah. It was more impactful with the hundred thousand. - Yeah. - Did you ever work a normal job before though, YouTube? - Mm-hmm. - I worked at TJ Maxx. My first job was Kroger though. - I got the Kroger, yeah. - Yeah, I worked at Kroger, pushed some carts through the snow and shit. I made about $50, $45, $50 a week. Like, I was getting paid nothing. And I was doing at least four to six hours. Like, every, every, I think three times a week. Or something like that. - Well, I guess that makes sense. $50 for that. - Right. (laughing) - No, nothing. (laughing) - He said I wasn't doing shit. - But I used to bag groceries. And then one thing stuck with me. And I think that's what really motivated me. I was bagging this old man groceries. He was like, he probably had to be like, seven years old or something like that. And I put his bread in the bag first. And I grabbed the milk. I didn't put the milk all the way in the bag. But I was, you know, I'm tired, man. I'm 14, like, I'm just doing shit. So I put the milk always in the bag. He's like, no, I'm gonna do that. That's why you don't get paid the big bucks, huh? (laughing) And I just felt like, damn, he just really just hold me like, (laughing) I feel so broke and just fucked up. And he probably did, nah, but. (laughing) - He didn't get to see me make my first one at the time. (laughing) - But that shit really stuck with me. I'm like, I'm like, damn bro, he looking me like, I'm just nothing. So then after that, I probably worked maybe like a week after that, quick. I was only working in to give my driver's license. So I saved up enough money to go get driver, my driver's ed, then my driver's ed, boom. I used to sell candy at school, too, on the side. - For all the hustlers did that. Like everyone's successful did that. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. - To look 50 cent juices with the look. - That was a hustle. Like school stores trying to shut me down. I had more customers. Everything. - That's what chips were still like, 25 cent, 50 cent. Well, I'm old though. No, yeah, I think it's young. I never mind. - No, for 20 bucks. - I remember when milk was five cents. We get it, all those things. I appreciate it. (laughing) - What was your first big purchase when you started making some real bread? - Um, about a, well, at least, a BMW i8. - Fire. - Good job. - And that's the change in my trajectory of my whole YouTube career. 'Cause everybody wanted to know about the car. Like it's a butterfly door. It's for the low. It's like everybody want to know about the BMW i8 around this time. So I started doing a bunch of vlogs in there. A bunch of vlogs with it. And, you know, I made them money back quick. - Yeah, it's an investment.
Yeah, that even like the streaming house and like shit like that people putting up money like people like Oh, it's kind of a dumb purchase like that's an investment like people you could use it for content people want to know Like I'm sure you put a lot of money that you make back in if you doing stuff for the stream. Yeah, yeah Yeah, it's like you kind of got to do legit like streaming is way more expensive than YouTube Is it like so what do you what do you spend in like a debt? Obviously, it's different. But what's like average of like you'll have to spend to go do something to stream? It depends on what I'm doing, but I have done like Big productions that was like $600,000 and I didn't make my money back A week long stream. So like I'll be on there for a week 24 hours Now it was a love show you you seen flavor love right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I basically I redid flavor love With 25 girls and but it was a fat ass warehouse. It was like real deal Production movie shit. So yeah, yeah, I see I see the club. Yeah, I spent 600 on that. I did not make my money back But do you think it still help later on like you made you made it back eventually because you got the subscribers That still watch you for years Yeah, yeah, no, I didn't I didn't care about making the money back It was more so about just doing something that's different content. Yeah, it's like really lit. So Yeah, I've done that I did another thing called the hitathon and now that was like Probably closer like a quarter like 250 and I just basically made an album in a week. So I stayed in the studio for a week I had some of the biggest artists pulling up we threw a club every single night in the house like it was like We had like 20 girls come every night bartenders That shit was lit though. It was far who's your favorite artist that pulled up Like who's one that was like this is fucking sick One of my favorite that pulled up great question. Um, I had a lot Everybody was pulling up. I would say Probably the baby. Yeah, I love love it. We love it. Just with him like two weeks ago. We love it. Yeah, it was just like good nigga Yeah, yeah, good dude like it was it was good energy. We made two fire ass songs back-to-back Another person that had very high energy was taboozy. Yeah, oh fire. Yeah, he pulled up. He was shooting Shotgun shot gun and beers with niggas and shit like it was cool like But everybody that pulled up was was a great vibe like I didn't have nobody that pulled up that wasn't a vibe Yeah, and they didn't add to it Yeah, so the baby's the best. He's a he's a person out and then like yeah, I did that uh one of his music videos that sexy red uh Yeah music video And he like I he direct the whole thing. He's like like he's unbelievable at directing but um He I'll never forget like someone one of the like PAs was like getting pizzas out of the back of a car And the trunk started opening and all the pizza started falling out and the baby runs and starts like catching all the pizzas and like trying to help him I'm like that's a good dude Regardless of like what you see of like what happened on the internet Like that's a guy that's like got a good heart that like cares about people, you know And that like little shit like that is what kind of like I swear I remember I was in a charlie and I was uh I was at the hornet's game. I was sitting courtside and And I look across and I see the baby and I was like this is gonna test whatever friendship I think I said I'm for to pull my phone down. I'm for the face time just nigga right now And I'm gonna be able to watch his body language of how he reacts when he sees it's me call it hurt me if you want I said please don't play me. I said please don't play me nigga bro I call him. I face him and I went my homie too. I said bro like look I'm gonna call him I blew I call him and I look at him. He pull his phone out and I look he said oh And I was like yes That's my nigga. That's what I fuck with you About a baby. We still got to do. I know you got cooking with Kirk. No knife. This is me Chris your boyfriend can cook I'm calling you out right now cooking with Kirk your boyfriend can cook we gotta do it man. I love what he doing with it Yeah, he's killing it. I love what he doing with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, are you still do you still stream every week every day? Or you're kind of like I'm about I'm getting back into every day fire. Yeah, so I kind of took like a These first two months. I kind of chill for the most part. You get burnt out this year quick Two of my mom's take talk live for 30 minutes. I'm like hey, yeah Joey from Argentina. Thank you so much I knew it was on a different level when I realized how much them streamer backpacks cost them a green and black back What's just like 30k? Wait, what do you mean? It's like a backpack so you can like it has six different sim cards in it so That way you get connection like say I'm in LA. I got AT&T T-Mobile Verizon every single Like six different phone Signals is going to this backpack. So say AT&T is bad in this area T-Mobile gonna pick up So that's how you able to like stream and shit. It's not able to stream live. They do that IRL shit if you ever see them they got this back there wearing the usually the camera dude Yes wearing that green and black backpack that shit is a 30k backpack bro With like he said all that shit's built inside of it with the ports and the charges. I'm like bro Yeah, they playing a different game. I remember it was something that went viral I don't remember if it was Kai or somebody else Yeah, they were like this is a different type of flex. He had a table. Yeah, he had a table like 10 15 or 30k backpacks. He was like, yeah, this is just the for that He was like this ain't even all that I was like, yeah, not a they playing a different game Yeah, it's expensive. It's a high entry level point. Yeah money-wise to like really get to the like Top of streaming. Yeah, fuck the white man It's Kaisenat and it's DDG baby What are your like goals like what do you want to accomplish now like I feel like everything you've kind of stepped into it's like Crushed it like and that's the testament of like what you've done and each thing like it's hard to just be successful at acting It's hard to just be successful music and like you've done a lot like do you have something that you haven't touched yet Or like do you want like a number one album like what is it? Yeah, like I think all my goals Relive in music because I haven't accomplished them yet. It's like I can do this streaming shit in this YouTube shit with my eyes closed Like it's like I got it. I know I could do it. I can know if I take a two-month break in all my viewers leave I get them back in two weeks. Like I know I know I got this content shit people just gravitate towards me But you know, I'm I really I'm really passionate about the music And you know, I want to sell it out on arena. I want to you know, I'm saying I want to see what that shit feel like and maybe when I see what that shit feel like Yeah, let me go and start acting in shit now, you know what I mean like I Think I just it's just with music. It's just something that's like I would say like the kid in me like you got to do this shit. Yeah, you got to you got to Get you an arena or so doubt something like shit got to happen. Yeah, so um I got some goals with music that I need to accomplish before I feel like it's something else that I want to get into But I get bored easily. Yeah, I'd be wanting to do shit different shit all the time I know being overstimulated like it's it has it's other side of it where you're like I get bored easily When you're streaming all day long and it's so much like dopamine and serotonin in the head and all of a sudden like You're doing something and you're chilling you're like I'm bored because there's so much at once and then on the other end You're like doing absolutely nothing. It's kind of like being on set all day when you're like running and gunning Everyone's coming up to you. What do you need? What do you need? You're filming and then you go home for the night and you're just like Exactly, yeah, that's why I think that's why Actors in these all these people become drug addicts like that's what I've I've A to beat it like all these Disney kids becoming drug addicts because they're not their brains are Are forming and it's all dopamine serotonin this people's fame select you're walking on a carpet people are going crazy And then all of a sudden you're like at home and you're like I should do some drugs exactly Like what about do like that we do like that's really what I've like kind of figured out. I'm like oh, it's you might be right Yeah, it's shit out of bottle. Yeah, it's just be boy Do you have a dream person that you want to collab with like a rapper that you um That you haven't yet because obviously yeah, I mean I would love to do a song with Drake Thank you. Yes Like bro, we are on the thing of like Drake is the go Yeah, yeah, it go but we get shit for it Bro, they don't know what people get on you because of that Bro like we in L.A. like bro. I'm a Niggas in L.A. No, niggas Niggas in L.A. No Drake go bro come on Fuck out a little beef shit like realistically bro come on. He's the goat Ever walked step foot in a studio and the entire existence of studios has never been better than Drake right not better in Auburn Yeah, I mean I'm manifesting that for you this year You can make that happen. Yeah, bro. You're D.D. G Like bro, you need to nigger like me around more like But like I'm at a point of my career now. I wouldn't even want that for myself right now. Why? because I kind of like That's like something that it needs, it needs to be a real journey that leads up to that. He got to be a bunch of bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. And then take it from the old nigga in the room. This is, this is, I'm talking to you now, okay? Yeah. That's the equivalent of those rich ass kids who are saying, I'm going to change my last name because I don't want nobody to, I want to do it all. No, nigga, you've done, the journey was you being able to be DDG right now. That was your journey, nigga. Now be DDG. Yeah. Right, right. Everything that comes with it, you worked for that nigga. Don't sell yourself.
Yeah, do not know fuck that you don't need to go through another journey when you already went through what you have I'm sad. Hey, I got hits but I'm saying like more of an organic relationship Yeah, bro, imagine me but think though. I do a song drink right now boom and my fuck go plat go dumb Too much platinum. What the fuck do I do after that? You go on tour? I hear you I get it now I get you I get you no, you don't sell out a real one song It's like a you don't you never want to get to the top two Quick because you go on fall quick as fuck. I see it happen to artists all the time They collab with the biggest artists in the world and then afterwards people don't give a fuck because they like bro And then I think honestly the The luxury that you would have that a lot of those artists don't is you were already an established Part of the culture before you did that like a lot of niggas when they do a song with the top artists in the world Yeah, nobody knew him the day before. Yeah, so it's much easier to fall off It's harder to fall off when I'm already ddg, and I just did a song with Drake Your fall off is I'm still ddg who probably makes more money than the average rapper. So yeah, you fall off You need a nigga like me around more. What is the ddg stand for? It's my just this initials to my name to your real name. Yeah, yeah, I feel like disclosure. I mean, it's public information Durled the Wayne Grandberry. I just want to know Yeah, but even dirt like dirt talked about in an interview. I think he did with the milk boys He was talking about how After he did laugh now cry later with Drake is like when he blew up like that's when he was like Blowing up and all of his albums were huge. He was sound like doing big shows like if he was already dirt He could actually rap that'd be the thing like I feel like what they do that with actors about tight casting right people asking all the time Chris do you think you're gonna get tight cast it is the thug is the tough guy. I don't really fear that to me. I feel like Tight cast and it's for the niggas who came at right? I agree. It's not even like no, they didn't type cast you just can't do anything else So they making you play the tough guy that was the only thing that you could do believable, right? So no I don't think I'll be tight cast like I actually act and I that's what I'm saying when you actually got the talent I mean you can't you can't fall Actually do that. Yeah. What's your favorite part about doing all this like like what what gets you to wake up and be like is it the money is it it ain't the money because I'm not the richest nigga in the world. Obviously you could retire tomorrow if you wanted to you could go to back to Michigan I don't I don't I don't think I'm at retirement level yet like retirement of me is like Honey, I agree to 50, but then when you get to 100 to 50 you like damn I'm gonna touch a beat But like Nah, I mean it ain't for the money It's more so for the supporters Yeah, not even the sound like cliche, but I have a very strong fanbase and I like change a lot of lives and inspired a lot of people So when I don't stream or I don't post or I don't drop music it affects somebody like that What are my favorite my favorite nigga? Yeah, you know, I mean, like what are you doing? Well, you know And I feel like I changed a lot of people day for the better. So that's like the biggest motivation when you know I spark up a stream where I'll post a video or drop a song and people like I'm out in public man. I've been watching you since I was 10 years old bro grown-ass nigga with a full beard now You know, I mean like fire. Yeah, that's the shit that really motivate me because I'm like whenever I lead is earth I'm gonna still live on because I inspired a lot of people Yeah, I love that. I never know who's living my curiously through. Yeah Who are your early inspirations grown up like actor-wise or music-wise or music-wise 50 cent Yeah, literally like 50 cent was my first Like the 50 cent was the first nigga. I was ever a fan of yeah as a as a kid like I got pictures when I was like this big G unit top to bottle me too Yeah, he's like that's crazy. Yeah, I 50 probably don't give a fuck though. He pray But I know how niggas be like cuz niggas come up to me on the same shit like no, I've been watching you since I was I'm like you know to me. I can't really like experience it or feel how passionate Yeah, you more passionate than me about it because it's you but 50 cent like I'm talking about albums I'm buying albums as a key. I never met The next time he go to like he probably would he go to like Vegas or something. We're taking with us. No, we got never met That's the only person I haven't met. Oh, easy. What do you do for the man who has it all? Yes? We should get him to like pull up on his streamers. I'm nebby fire He'd be doing like side quests like that. He'd be in LA sometimes, but no like I think like a Vegas next time he stops in Vegas They closed drains. That would have been perfect because he had a residency. Yeah, but Miami. He'd be at 11 all the time and at the other one What's the other one in Miami? Definitely 11 all the time. So next time we yeah, I got a little spot Miami - so I'll be back before oh Easy. Well, we'll introduce like if you bring your friends around He's he shows love as if it's his friends because like he trusts us like we've been kicking it with him for almost five six years now Like weekends and parties and this now it's vendors weekends, and he's like it's like his you know our family's his family And that's the way he treats everyone, which is like it's like a nice thing. Yeah, he knows it's not to bring no guvies around No, I fuck with 50. Yeah, yeah, he's a go. Yeah, definitely. We got to bring them around faithy. That's what I said We got something about it. Great question. Um I don't really have like a favorite actor. I'll probably say wheel Smith. Yeah Yeah King Richard's this morning like damn this was good. I don't believe I was almost like to come film this I was like, okay, leave. I don't see this arena guy. No, no. Yeah, I say like wheel Smith, um Like Angelina Jolie was like one of my favorites Cameron Diaz. Yeah, he likes the white man Wait, did you see yourself with a white woman or no brown? I don't I may be sick. I don't know I just got my rule no white women after now I'm picking them I see for yeah, I don't You know, I got a lot of biceps, but the thing like I'm not I don't discriminate though. Yeah, like I've I've been with white women before like But not I don't not don't know like dating shit though, but like you know, they cool. Yeah Cuz you see yourself like me personally. I like a little spice like maybe I'm a little toxic. I don't know I like girl that you know That kind of keep me on my toes a little bit cuz it's left the shit out of you. Yeah, it keeps it keeps it fun It's like cool, you know, white women are in this toxic. Yeah, they're not gonna do any of that. Yeah, I need a bit Stop tell me stop fucking playing with me. I need that every once in a while Stupid Chris I need that every once in a while. I'm gonna do it But if you don't I'm definitely cuz you do you look this homie this homie making make sense cuz everything come from childhood shit, right? Did your mom whoop you more or do your dad your mom, right my dad beat my ass. Oh never my dad broke my nose You know my mom my mom used to whoop me more But what used to happen is the older I got I started talking so much shit and I started smelling myself a little bit thinking Oh, so I would get a whooping from my mama and kind of laugh it off like that one shit and then she brought Oh, okay Well, your daddy of be home at six. Don't worry about it. You're gonna get another ass woman So I started getting too asked Okay, my mama with my ass first and just keep me keep me on thorn until my daddy get off work at like six seven then he with my ass again What's the what's the psyche behind it? It's like My mom used to whoop my ass. Yeah, bad. She used to beat shit out of me Not in like a way, but you know like What it what it did is it it kind of like The the discipline part of it made me like Respect my mom like crazy cuz I'm like if I do this wrong I'm gonna get my ass work and then he made me a better person It made me a better kid. So like I to crop to bridge the gap is like if you got a girl that's putting you in your place It's gonna make you a good nigga. It's gonna make you fake fool. It's gonna make you you know I'm saying because you like boom boom. Oh, and then you carry that if that relationship don't work You carry that on to the next relationship facts, bro What I always say is this I always feel like in a relationship You have to have a parental like fear of your significant other and not for
That they gonna whoop your ass, right? We don't could don't know domestic right right right, but If it's 1 a.m. And your phone rings And you're 16 years old and that shit says mom and you somewhere that you ain't got no business being you not at home You're not where you supposed to be you at a party. It's a bunch of shit going on in the background And you look at that screen and that's just say mom or dad If you don't get that feeling when your girl call your phone and you somewhere you ain't got no business That ain't the woman for you don't run all over. Yeah, you don't need to be telling niggas everybody Hey, baby, if you don't do that I can't I can't be with a woman who don't make me feel that. Yeah, that's facts Yeah, yeah, if I maybe we just toxic brown I think industry motherfuckers are toxic because like we've been exposed to so much. It's the serotonin It's it's the dopamine. It's the constant hit of oh this this and this so like you can't be in a Relationship they like sure you want your peace, but like you can't be in a relationship where like everything's good We're gonna go to brunch and then this it's just like I need a little Have you ever cheated have you ever cheated before I'd cheat it back before Cheat it back on someone that cheat on him. Yeah, I'm gonna cheat back her I think but you know I might be it's been a cheater but it's been it's been like I haven't been in relationship in a long time So I think you know my next relationship. I'm damn there probably gonna get married. Yeah. Yeah, I can see that Yeah, cuz it's at a point now where I'm like, okay, it don't really make sense Yeah, you know, yeah toxic shit kind of gets old after a while. You're like it do like you know I just when I say toxic like I don't need no girl like acting like my mom And shit, but at the same time like I don't want no girl to let me run over You need the great you need the good sex, you know, you need like it helps it, you know It I would say the word toxic stems from being in love like truly like if you're truly in love with that person And you even see them like like a waiter like she's like oh, thank you Like even that is I could get under your skin a little bit. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, that's a good toxic Like you're so in love. I just show you care right that's all right. Yeah, DDG cares. That's that's we're gonna Yeah, DDG cares. I might need to be his new MP. Oh, hey, I need a percentage if he does it DDG foundation that shit sounds amazing That sounds amazing DDG cares. We get a little I'm putting on the universe. You were him I might have it. I don't know. It was like a song. He already put out and I remixed it fire Yeah, you guys like formally make something that'd be fire Yeah, he'd be out there and London with the with the with the mad son and Nike text with all those for all those London gangbangers Yeah, no, I'm cool with Drake too. I'm cool with central all of them. It's just like yeah, it's just not no shit where it's like I don't like like with music. It sometimes it'd be weird like I don't really want to niggas to think like I give a fuck about doing a song like I'd be more focused on like building relationships since like Niggas, we just in the studio fucking around. Let's just make some shit You know what I mean? Like it's not it's not on some like I'm trying to get something from Kind of how I feel about like when I met you like I've always wanted to like you know chop it up and like I see your stuff And I respect you as like and I never wanted it's the same thing where I'm like I want them on the podcast to be fun, but like that's not what this is about So I'm gonna ask you to second. I meet you right right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Now. I mean, I would have did it anyways Yeah, not effects because that's why I thought the same thing when I was at the cup of halix. I was like damn. I'm pretty sure it's gonna sell out though But I wouldn't mind having a dead show just to show like The real shit that artist go through because a lot of artists be scared to show that journey Maybe scared to show like oh, you know, I ain't only so 50 tickets that there's more fun But I still gotta go out there like I still gotta perform and you just gotta do it and you can't be embarrassed or nothing So I kind of just want to show everything and like show people Would you go through as an artist, but you know, I'm I'm sure like my my ticket sales gonna be cool.
