David returns from a trip to New York, where he shares a series of humorous and chaotic anecdotes involving a flight with Mel Robbins and Madison Beer, a forgotten suitcase, and Taylor’s misjudged perception of Madison Square Garden. The group discusses a widely circulated "psychopath test" riddle, leading to varied interpretations and sparking playful debate about personal values and emotional intelligence. David emphasizes the importance of living with joy, authenticity, and spontaneity, contrasting it with the rigidity of business-focused lifestyles. The conversation shifts to the podcast’s monetization model, with David strongly opposing a paywall, arguing it undermines community and accessibility. The episode concludes with a lighthearted discussion on personal comfort, shared living dynamics, and the value of fun in life, highlighting the bond and camaraderie among the friends. A final suggestion is made to sell Taylor’s sandwich as a business venture, adding humor and a sense of creativity to the conversation.
[Music] What's up guys, welcome back to Views! We are back with another podcast episode, Natalie Meduina is here that's the woman we film with and then Jason is here that's the man we film with. Wow, I don't know who you are now. Yeah, I just want to make sure. Hello David. Natalie's the woman. Jason's the man. We're checking genitalia and I'm the dude guys, I just got back from New York. This is the. Yay! Welcome back brother. We're so happy to have you here again David. We missed you so much. Oh, that tone is not good. Well, she's a bitch. Sorry. I'm really happy you're here. Thank you. You know, and I have to say, I owe you a lot of gratitude. Wait, what happened? Well, Wyatt has been locked away all summer. I can't even see him. Yeah, there's a good thing, no? Yeah, we're in 10, 12 hours a day on his albums and you know, we owe that all to you. That work ethic. What? The fuck you mean? It was too crazy to pivot. You didn't even pregnant me. What are you talking about? I remember he was here, he told us that. Oh, he told me that he. Yeah. Yo, I've such a bad memory. No. Especially when it comes to Wyatt. No, it's anything. Even my mom said it when I was with her in New York, she goes, she goes, "So what do you think of my voice in the recording?" For Jason's show? For Jason's show. And I go, "Oh, I haven't heard it yet." Yeah. And have we heard it yet? No. Yeah, we have. See, I didn't think we heard it either. But I haven't, I haven't. Oh. It would have played it on the pot. Maybe you weren't here. Oh, wait, we did, yeah. You were here? Yeah, I was here. Exactly. I was like to my mom. I was like, "I haven't heard it yet." And she's like, "It's on the pot cast." Every time I messed up with my mom, I was just like the worst memory. I did too. I just don't remember a single. There's so many things coming at us every day, especially you guys who are so busy, it's insane. I don't know why. It's impossible. It's impossible. My friend. Can I tell you about my. My friend. I have reconnected like my best friend from college. And he tells me stories. We go to dinner and tell a story to the Dean. And he'll be like, "And it'll be a great story." And I'll be like, "And then what happened?" And he'll be like, "You were there." Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were fucking there, man. Yeah. No, Taylor tells me shit about when we like first. She's just. First started working for me. Yeah. She has like 50 stories that I've just never even heard of. Really? And I'm like, "What?" And then I did that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No way. And then what happened? I was like. Okay, so I was just. I just flew in from New York. For the first time in like a long time, I brought a carry-on. Like a way suitcase. Yeah. A roller carry-on. A roller carry-on. Not like a backpack. And because I normally bring my. My. Big pillow bag. Big. No, I brought the big pillow back too. But I'm bringing a check bag so I can bring my like, duvet and everything. And this time I was like, "Fuck, I'm staying at the Langham. It's a nice hotel. I don't need to bring my duvet." So I'll just bring a carry-on. It's a day and a half trip, whatever. So then when I landed here in LA, there was. I was surrounded by a bunch of older women on the flight. Like, I was just. I don't know what was going on. An Madison beer. Madison beer was also on my flight. It was really. I haven't seen her in an over a year, which was really nice to see her. And there was another famous woman, who the flight attendants were like gushing over. They were like, "We're such big fans." She was like an author. Like, look like very like. Meryl Streepie. J.K. Rowley? No. Mel Robbins. What? Mel Robbins? Maybe. I just feel like. Blonde? Yes. Okay, maybe. Can I show you a photo of her? Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's from New York, LA. I'm sure. Yeah, they were gushing over her a lot. So, when I got off the flight, I was helping all the women with their suitcases. Because every. Fuck, dude. I think this was her. It has to be her. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This was her. Wow. Damn, what a pull. Good job. Thank you. I show. I think it was Mel Robbins. Yeah. Wow. I definitely know that name. Wow. What a flight. Madison beer and Mel Robbins and David Obre. Wow. Yeah. Happy headlines. Who'd be last. Who'd be last mentioned in the newscast? I think we're short. I don't know. Maybe not. No, no, no. I think 80s. Oh, Madison just played Madison in the Square Garden. So, I was talking to her about it, which was like her dream. That's a fun sentence. Wow. Madison just played Madison. Square Garden. Yeah. It was really. I went to New York as I was going to Bon Jovi show at MSG. And I was with Taylor and I was like, "Do you think it's going to be cold in there?" And she goes, "Of course not. Like, it's a garden." Yeah. And I'm like, "It's not a garden." She thought we were going to be sitting outside like you in the heat wave of New York. Which is kind of crazy because I feel like everybody knows what Madison Square Garden is. And Taylor, like, literally thought it was like an amphitheater. Like, picnic style. I wouldn't pick Taylor to be like a concert de venue. Really? I feel like. Savant. Well, because then I was like, Taylor Swift just got married here. I was like trying to explain to her. Oh, that is interesting. Yeah. She was like, "How do you not know that?" Like, you're the biggest Swiftie. Anyway. So, she was getting off the flight, helping all the women off the flight. And then I got to my car. Yeah. Alex was picking me up. And Taylor's putting in her suitcase into the car. And I go, "Oh, my God. I forgot my suitcase." No. Just on the flight. While you were helping all the women, you forgot your own. Completely just forgot. Oh, yeah. On the flight. And then I was like, "I started walking back to go get it." Yeah. And I was like, "I hated that suitcase." No fucking way. You just left it. And I was like, "This, I've never. " And I said this to Taylor. And it didn't save me. Wait, where are you when you realized that? You know what I'm saying? I'm at the outside of the terminal. Okay. Like by the car. You definitely could still get it. I'd have to go through security. No, they can bring it down. I just had it. Okay. This is my other thing. Taylor magically packed the worst bag of her existence. Like the items inside. The items were like my least favorite clothing of all time. I was shocked when I was going through. I'm like, Taylor, there's nothing here that I like wearing. There's one pair of pants. My green nude project shorts that I always wear. That those have, we'll be missed. But yeah, I was just like, we might as well just leave it there. So then, yeah. So I left my suitcase there. Which is kind of crazy. But I was just like, "I can't, I can't turn around." So that was jeez, you buy clothes? No, that's what I landed here in L.A. Oh, in L.A. Yeah. I was just, this is just happened. I've never done it. Oh, they can stick it, bring it to you. Yeah, they can just deliver it. Really? Yeah. I don't even like a name on the suitcase or anything. We had such a rough flight coming back from Croatia. That when we landed Naveem was like, we're not getting the luggage. We're just going home. Shut the fuck up. Yeah, she was in such bad shape. And I was like, that's funny. And then we went through customs. And I was like, let's get the luggage. And she was like, nope. She's like, I'm getting in the car. I'm going home. No way. I was like, all right. Well, what car did you get into? We got into like a Uber Tesla, like electric electronic. But like, where did it pick you up? Like, was it ready to go? Right. Because sometimes by the time everything's called, you might as well get your bags. So I'm just trying to see like, if you went through customs, your bags could have already been there. I looked, they weren't there. They weren't there. Was it spinning? Not yet. Oh, okay. We went right through. They delivered you the bags. Yeah, we got the bag like 36 hours later. What was the fee for that? None. What? I don't think so. I don't think there was a fee. LAX just brings you the bag for free. Yeah. I definitely didn't pay a fee. Oh my god. I'm leaving my check. I'm leaving my carry-ons there every time. I'm just going to leave my backpack, my pillow there, my pajamas. Where the fuck is my eye mask? Why did you forget my eye mask on the plane? Yeah, that's really funny. Yeah. So now I know. Now I know that. What did you do on the flight? Dude, I had the best seat. You know how jet blue mint has like. Which one did you get? I got the solo pod. I know. I never get solo pod. I know. I know. I know. Even when I've paid for first, that solo pod is so hard to come by. Yeah. Yeah. If I knew I was flying, I was kind of like not looking forward to the New York trip because I hate traveling. Yeah. But the fact that the solo pod was there would have never complained from the beginning. I asked my mom when I got to the airport. Yeah. I was like, do you want me to come to the concert? Or do you want us to be like a girls? Because this is what happened. And Taylor fucked up here. Taylor texted my sister like, what time we should meet and where we should grab dinner in New York. And then my sister was spotted in a way where she didn't know that I was coming. Yeah. And I'm like, oh. I thought this was mandatory. Like I thought this was at the levels of Christmas with my family. So I was like, oh, I got to go to this to this. I'm not a big concert guy. If I was to see anybody in concert, it'd probably be Bon Jovi to be honest. Because I do love Bon Jovi. And I'm a big 80s, 70s, 90s fan. Like I love that time period. But like I still would rather just like listen to music in my car and definitely not travel for anything. Yeah. So I asked my mom like, do you want me to go to this? And she's like, oh, yeah. Like I was at the airport already. And I was like, and she's like, what are you just going to turn around right now? And I'm like, yeah. But like if this means like if you want me there. Because my brother wasn't coming. My dad wasn't coming. You said stuff like that to me. That is the worst. What I did. That is the worst thing to say to somebody. She was like, she was very clear. She was like, if you even think about turning around, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to throw the biggest fucking fit here. Well, I'm going to start crying at the airport. And then I was like, what if I start crying here at the airport? Go ahead. Try me, bitch. Well, yes. So now I went, but it was really fun. Where were the seats? So they did this. The seats were like on the side with his friends and family. Great. And then they had-- Do you go backstage? No, we missed the backstage. Okay. Because my sister had a fucking-- We haven't given-- My siblings have a dog. And we had to give the dog to a babysitter before. We had to miss the backstage time, which I feel like my mom could have met Bondovi again, which would have been awesome.
really exciting for reunion. But whatever. Um, but they're, uh, yeah, they, they bring you for like three songs. They like rotate in people to like be right on basic, you're basically on stage, on side stage. Ooh, watching it. So that was really exciting. Um, but there was a possibility. I told my mom this, um, that if Banjo be saying a specific song, he would have, he would have, he would have brought her on stage to sink to her. Should've been fucking crazy. Would've been crazy. And didn't happen. But like, my mom would have actually, I'm not even getting probably diarrhea. If you hadn't didn't have those dog problems, that might have happened. It might have planted it in his brain. Like, you know what? Let's do a Christina thing. Maybe, unless, you know, he's gonna do it for Mel Robbins. I don't know. Maybe Mel Robbins is there to, no, but other than that, the concert was really fun. And it was really, I was, I've always been scared of Madison Square Garden. Yeah. How was like your Madison Square Garden experience? So easy. I think it's because we were on Bon Jovi's guest list. Well, yeah, that helps. So like, we went through the side. It was really incredible. And then the best part about it was like, yeah, we just like took an elevator and we were right up to our seats. It's really, really easy. Yeah. It was really easy. Can I get half of that sandwich? Oh, yeah. Guys, my sandwich just came. Taylor just brought in the most delicious looking sandwich. It's, I don't know how he's spoken about this sandwich before. I don't know how she doesn't. I'm going to describe it. No, we described this will be the eighth podcast in a row. We've described this goddamn sandwich. I know, but it's just tick, tick a photo for your snap. Okay, but here's the see it. I want to start something. I want to start selling the sandwich. I know. I know. I know in the LA area. Is that crazy? I'm going to sell three sandwiches a day. Okay. For a hundred bucks a sandwich. I think that makes sense. No one's going to buy a hundred dollar sandwich. I mean, it's maybe three people will for sure. Three people. Yeah, three people. I guess what do you like? You're just posting this year like followers like, hey, come by my house. I got three sandwiches for a hundred dollars each. I don't want to do it at my house, but yeah, it's three sandwiches each. Okay. Oh, if only you had a restaurant. What a great idea. Oh, fuck. Yeah. I mean, I guess I could sell it at Dobricks. I forgot I had a food restaurant. Yo, did you see the Rizzler clip? Did you see this? You know who the Rizzler is, right? Of course. He's that like cool really. The guy that's been like eight years old forever. Yeah. He's not part of the Costco guys, but mentally you group him in, you know, the Rizzler. Of course. Yeah. He's not part of the Costco business. He was like, he's not in that family. He's not in that family. He's their friend, right? Yeah, yeah. But you just like kind of, yeah, he's like a neighbor, like you group him in with the Costco restaurant. It's Costco, Jason. Yeah, it's Costco. Jason. He had a clip. It was incredible. It's an incredible clip. He's on a podcast and someone asked him if you could trade lives with anybody for one day. Who would you trade with? Yeah. And he goes a homeless guy. Okay. Yeah. And then it cuts to like an edit of like this philosophical, like edit and the top. Philosophical. Philosophical. Philosophical. Philosophical. Sorry. But it's incredible. Yeah. And the top comment of that TikTok is best written character on TikTok, by the way. So funny. But it's, it really is an incredible answer to that question. Why did he say that? To feel what it's like to have nothing? Yeah. Yeah. Like he put himself in the shoes of someone that would want to be him. It's like really interesting. It is a really interesting answer. It's like actually all jokes aside brilliant. Like it will, there will nothing, you know what I mean? You could be, I don't know. You could be Michael Jackson for the day, Jesus Christ for the day, whatever. But there's nothing, there's nothing more I, I opening, I think, than being somebody that has less than you. Yeah. Yeah. And the wrestler put, he's fucking eight years old, by the way. That's fucking pretty incredible. He's still eight. He must be 10 right now. I don't think so. I think he, I think the Rizzler ages and kind of like the same way I catwood or dogwood. Have you seen this thing that like the kids that, it was like a story in India that got the kid is born. He's like eight, he's like five years old and he basically solves his own murder. Oh, from his past, yeah, from his past life. Yes. I've seen that. What is that? Is there like a dog on that that we can watch? I don't know. Have you ever seen this Natalie? No. You're not even paying attention. You're fucking ordering food. I know you're ordering for example, which is here. You saw the fucking sandwich and now you're on door dash. It doesn't look good, but I'm not on door dash. I had lunch already. Thank you. Okay. Well, anyway, there's this kid in India. He was born as a kid. He's a baby now. And somebody that died around the same time. He was born. He was like reincarnated into him. Yeah. Yeah. And he's solving that murder. So he goes, he takes his parents to where he was murdered and he sees his wife and he talks to the wife and he goes, I know who killed me. He goes, he goes, the child goes, I was shot, I was shot in the head. And the woman goes, yeah, you were shot in the head and he goes, and I know who did it. Yeah. Isn't that crazy? So, what did he just solve the murder? Wait, sorry, is this real? Well, this is a story from India. So it is a couple of continents. Yeah. I mean, it's all over TikTok. Yeah. So it's like, how real is it? I don't know. He's not the only kid to, we'll have we seen him speak. I fucking hate how we, we don't know if these supernatural things are real. Have we seen the TikTok that it's like, hey, I've been seeing a lot less AI content recently on my feed. Yeah. And then it's like, I've been seen a lot less AI content on my feed recently. And he is, it is AI. Well, no, it just, it just makes you think that like, what are you? What's real? Yeah. Like, you're not actually seeing less AI content. You're just like, you're not, you don't even know anymore. Yeah. It's kind of fucking crazy. Yeah. And like, I don't know, this is a side conversation from this. But like, I do, I'm kind of bummed that we don't know why I don't like, social media is just sucks because you hear this incredible story from India. Right. And we should be getting on a flight immediately to go confront this kid to break the story. That story is a long time ago. Even as, yeah, whenever it was, I don't care. We're seeing it now. We should be going there right now. But the problem is is that as the kids get older, they lose the ability. And someone, someone saying like, there was one comment that was like, well, that's why they put kids into school. So they will forget. That's a little anti-school, but yeah. I know you loved high school, but yeah, people should go to high school. And have the time of their life. We also talk about this, Jason, every now and then I get about every now and then I get a little. Don't laugh at that. You can't hurt shit like that. Why? I love when I have the same tick because that one actually cut you out. What? Yeah, cut all of you guys out. But I, no, I was just cut. You have the same tick. I have the same tick. Like, it's not trying to find similarities between you and Natalie. Okay. Hey, man, you know, I noticed something. Hey, man. I noticed something. I know something on the podcast that you did last week. That was so funny. You were, you were mad about me for something in the beginning of the podcast. So then we got to the second part of the podcast. You outed me about my take on Steve. We'll do it. What was your, oh, I did. Yeah. Because I think like, Natalie, I were like beating up on you a little bit in the first part of the podcast. And then we got to the second part. You're like, and Jason thinks, Steve will do it. His things are not going to end well. And then I was like, I did say that. I do have a complaint about you. You keep putting this podcast behind a paywall. Brother, call serious XM right now. You cheap fuck. That is so. Bro, I come here. I do my job while you're trying to squeeze our audience for every single fucking penny. This is not going in. It's not funny. It's a free podcast. Brother, if there is, if you were on the calls, if you even answered emails, you would know I could show you the chain. Not back me up. Yes. I back you up. That's not good backing up. Guys, guys, can we, can we please once and for all this podcast is never going behind a paywall. Every time it goes up behind a paywall, it's because there's a new program that Jason's fucking around with. It's either the program's not working or Jason's not working. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, it is not me. I can show you the email. I believe there's a glitch. There is a glitch. Okay, but stop DMing me, saying like people will DM and be like, really? You're going to put a be out of paywall now. Guys, it's not fucking happening. Well, that's annoying. Yeah. Yeah, it's just like, don't read the DMs. Why? You just don't read into the DMs. Well, I don't know. For somebody. It's like you're letting people get to you. We should talk about that. Well, I show the fun of mean girl energy. Anyway, this other guy, this other guy DM me saying, impact from listening to the podcast and all caps. I don't want to, I don't want to say his name, but hey, David, in your last pod, you asked if anyone had any impact from listening to your podcast and it had a huge impact on my life. Wow. Let me explain. Yours ago on a podcast, you asked a question that was used to find out if you're a psychopath or not. I found it super interesting. And whenever I went on dates, I'd ask the women that that question. They loved it, but it never led to a proper relationship until this one girl I met who studied psychology. We're now married. Wow. She's a pretty big impact. Well, love the podcast. That's crazy. Now, do you remember the question? I mean, I definitely remember, I don't know if it's the question, but that's this one. While at her own mother's funeral, a woman meets a guy she doesn't know. She thinks this guy is amazing, her dream man. And it's pretty sure he could be the lover of her life. However, she never asked for his name or number. And afterwards, could not find anyone who knew who he was. A few days later, the girl kills her own sister. Why did she do it? The girl kills her own sister. You know who we should bring in for this Julia, John's girlfriend. Because she, I feel like, is like a really good puzzler. She's a good puzzler. Julia, can you come here real quick? I don't like riddles. This isn't a riddle.
This is just to check if you're a psychopath or not and I am straight up not a psychopath. I think you answered in a psychopathic way, but it was it was it was interesting about the answer is as clear as day, it was clear as day, like the answer that I had to pick. So I I don't know. I am a little worried about myself too. Julie, I'm going to give you a question and you tell me this is a determined if you're a psychopath or not. Okay. Okay. I'll read it once more for the viewers. I'll add her own mother's funeral, a woman meets a guy she doesn't know. She thinks this guy is amazing, her dream man, and is pretty sure he could be the love of her life. However, she never asked for his name or number and afterwards could not find anyone who knew who he was. Question why did she do it? Why did she kill her sister? Killed her own sister. I love this question because I'm the only one that's answered it in this specific way. And it truly is so baffling to me because I don't know if I'm proud of it or whatever it is. I think I have an answer. Okay. I get so excited by it. But I remember when I was asked it, I answered immediately because there's no other way to answer this question. Right. And that means you're a psychopath? Apparently. Yeah. But and I didn't believe the person because I don't know who asked me if it was like Matt King or something. He's like, oh. And then I was like, what? Yeah. That's the answer. And then we asked like eight other people. Yeah. And I completely the opposite way I remember now and I was so fucking baffled by it. I was like, oh my god. Maybe I'm like, actually, there's something wrong with me. Julia, how would you answer it? Was the person like the sister's husband or boyfriend or something like that? Exactly how everybody answers it. Yeah. Very interesting. Yeah. And for sure, that's how I answered it originally. That is how you answered it originally. This is your fuck to the guy that she doesn't love with. There's nothing. Yeah. So should we ask Taylor to? Sure. Guys, I just asked Taylor the question. Here's her answer. OK, Taylor. What's the answer? Um, because like, I know like the first thing that comes to mind, but I'm not saying I would do it. The sister, the sister was dating her hooked up with the guy. OK. It's really interesting. Wow. That's really crazy. No, keep it. That's really interesting. We need to call somebody that we think is a psychopath. OK. Who is it? Um. Oh, yeah. We've cut all those people out of our lives. Yeah. We call my mom. Wait. Do you call your mom? She actually just got out of surgery so she won't even pick up. Naveen's not a psychopath in any way, but she's good with riddles. No. Naveen will answer this. Wait, is it a riddle? Naveen will answer this the way I would answer. Yeah. I'm not even going to tell her it's a psychopath test. I'm just going to ask her. I'm on the edge of my seat. I want to know what this answer is. I remember being something like this. Wait, don't say that. Let's look. Naveen. Naveen, can you answer this question? You're on the podcast. Ready? OK. She thinks this guy is amazing. Her dream man. And it's pretty sure he could be the love of her life. She killed her sister because she found out this sister killed the mom. This is fucking crazy. No, it's not it. Oh, because this sister was, I don't know what's the answer. This is her. I have to hang up for the rest of it, but I'll tell you. No. OK. Fine. OK. Did the sister know who the guy was? Oh my God. This is crazy. Because you couldn't find anyone. OK. Can I just tell you guys? No. No. She killed the sister because she wanted to have another funeral. So the guy would come back. Oh, yeah. That's it. Wow. I did not even go there at all. Damn. That's crazy. That's what comes your mind. Yeah. But nothing else made sense. That's like the only thing that actually adds up. Everything else is you're just assuming. Julia, lock your door tonight. I need you to go to sleep. Well, no, but you're also assuming that he's going to show up for another funeral. It's the closest assumption that is. Because no one knew him. Obviously, the sister didn't know him. He come to the sister. Because he knows somebody in the family. Why didn't you kill your sister? He doesn't go. It's crazy. I'm really confused by that question. You answered that immediately. Immediately. Well, I'd also say that's just like high intelligence. I don't leave that. But I remember I was like, well, this is the obvious answer. But I'm trying to see what the psychopath answer is. And then I was hunting for what you guys were trying to do. Dude, can somebody please, please podcast listeners? Can you please ask people in your life that question and just DM me if anybody. Yeah. It's really fun. Ask the people that you think would answer it the proper way. We got a great email about a video pod for reasons for the video pod. Not that I care. Yeah, for sure. You have no skin in the game. I don't want a video pod. Yeah, I'm not interested in it, but I'll sum it up really quick. I felt more connected and engaged when I could actually see everyone. The serious moments landed more strongly and the funny moments felt even funnier when I could see the reactions, smiles, and laughs. Not just to hear it. When people who weren't always in the vlogs appeared on the pod, it gave the whole friend group more context and made it feel like everyone was still connected in one way or another and reduced any speculations I would read or hear about. Seeing people. I wrote this. Seeing people in the video pod also made me curious about it. Yeah. There's no way as somebody else has this much passion for the video pod as you do. It feels like whoever wrote this is also going to make money when we go to video. From the serious team. Seeing people on video pod makes me be more curious about their content. I admit I don't always see God, everyone's channels, but when I saw them setting off and ended up checking people like Alex Jason, Zane, and Heath and Scott. It was never about high production value for me. The visual connection was the part that made the podcast feel more personal and easier, stay invested. To break it down further. In one of the recent pods, Ilya mentioned to be there and spoke very briefly. And then I wasn't sure if he was still there quietly engage with them. If you guess what number I'm guessing one through a hundred, I'll do the video. Let's go. Okay. Right now. I'm going to write it down. Write it down. And give the phone to Tay. One through a hundred. Ready? Yeah. Okay. Hold on. Okay. Come on. Matt. Okay. I get to say number two. No. It's just for Jason. Why? Yeah. Tell you can't mouth it. Can't not have a guess. The author's so slim. Obviously I get a guess. Okay. Jay, you go first. Yes or no. Does not have a guess. No, she doesn't have a guess. What should I guess? Julia, what should I guess? I don't know. I was like going to go. I was going to say like 42. He didn't mind first. 43 came to me. But that just feels too obvious and you know he's being a little sneaky bit. Yes. Like maybe 37. Oh. Oh. Shit. Shut up. What? It's just like a number to think of. Like that is that it's like one through one through 10. If you pick a number, you over go seven. I know. Yeah. There's always eight. There's also 96 straight up eight. I don't know I just saw like four coming out of his face when he was like writing it down. You just feel it. Okay, guys. You get one chance. I mean, whatever your heart feeling is feeling, Jay. I say zero. You're like you're a hunter. Hi Jay, you have 10 seconds to decide. 18. Taylor. That is incorrect. What was it? It's 83. Good job Dave. You win that one. You wins again. You win again. Got you guys. Got you fucking well. Can I cut the trees down at the new house and get a video pop? Wait, what happened with that? Well, not and I didn't. I was told not to do anything illegal. I had some guys ready. Guys, I gave them. This task that if they cut my neighbor's trees down, so I could get a better view. I do the video. What happened? Honestly, I don't think anything happened. You guys even try? You literally told me not to do anything until you got something done first. You were you were having some stuff caught and then you're like, don't do anything. Don't do anything. Don't do anything. Just don't even go over there right now. Oh, all right. All right. All right. What a fuck up. Wow. What you do have for a view. Wow. Okay. That's funny. It's a pretty good email this guy wrote. That's pretty good. Maybe his a Gmail. What else is new? How does everybody feel like about life, Julia? Natalie? Like, are as anyone, do you feel like you have like a, do you feel like you have like this question? What did you say? I like this question. Go on. Like, do you feel like you have life by the balls? Are you like, oh my god, like I get to come to this house every day. So fun. Well, for Tay, for Julia, she lives here, not. And then like, are you guys just like so happy and like in your, in your era of youth and like loving everything? Um, I feel like I have a pretty peak like life experience for sure. Nice. I feel like my life's pretty fucking great. Nice. Don't fuck. Well, don't get down on her for answering honestly. No, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm not saying that like in like the, a braggadocious way. I just like, I don't really have, even like, even if I have like something difficult or like I just don't feel like I have any opportunity or. space to like complain about it. - Nice. - Yeah. - I hate my life. (all laughing) - Insane. (all laughing) - One thing I'm missing is love, you know? - Yeah, but it's impossible for you. I can't, it's not that I don't, I love life like a lot. - Yeah. - But I'm kind of lacking a purpose. - What are you talking about? - What do you mean? - You make people laugh every fucking week with your love. - No, but listen, I have this idea with this, with this new house you're trying to get? - Yeah. - And it's like really reinvigorating. - You're gonna take in a bunch of youth. - Basically. - A boys club. - Basically, there's a lot we wanna start and it starts with this home. - Okay. - Yeah. - What are you gonna do? - I can't tell you. - Oh come on man, give us a little taste. - Let's just say a classic big thing's coming. - What? - If we get the house. - So like you're gonna have like orphans? - Basically. - No way. - You're kidding. - Charlie and I will have a place to sleep. - Oh my god, they're both 20. - Are you gonna get John out? - No, John will never get down. You want him to get kicked out? - No. - So Julia, Julia, you're John's girlfriend, right? - Yeah. - And you kinda fought for your own place before you moved in here with me. - Yeah. - And I understand there are some complications to living with me. - No, honestly. - That's a good question. - Yeah. - Well, honestly what? - I mean, honestly there's no like big complication. - That's why I'm really being like, "John, we need to get the fight outta here." (all laughing) - I've been looking for some complication. - It's pretty chill. - It's pretty chill. - Well, okay, initially you didn't want to move in. - Yeah. - Okay, so how did that change? - Because John made me see. (all laughing) - No, no, I know John made you, but I remember when you guys moved in, it was very much like-- - Your hesitant. - Your hesitant and you were like, "John, we're only living here till January." And then we're finding a new place. I don't know what January that was. Was that last year or this year? - Yeah, it was, I said January and then John was like, "No, let's do like April, May." - Was that this year or last? - Yeah, this year. - Oh, okay, so you do. - It's been like five months from now. - Okay, so what made you change? How long have you lived here? - Since October. - Okay, that's nothing. - Yeah, I know. - Are the vibes just so highly immaculate here? - Honestly, yeah, I feel like it's entertaining enough where something's always going on, but I don't have to exert myself to find something going on. Like I could go and be calm and do my own thing, and then I'm like, "Fuck, I'm really bored." And I'll just come downstairs and there's always something to do. But then if I get tired of that, I could always just go downstairs. - Go upstairs. - Yeah, that's exactly how I see the house, too. - So nice. - That's why I don't leave. - That's amazing. - You come down, you're stimulated, you're like, that's enough. - That's what we're living in, you know, you're lacking. - Exactly. - There's us, what we want, like. - You guys should move in, we have an extra room. - Okay, I'm done. - What's like a fear that you had that maybe isn't as much of reality, like living here? - Like I'm sure it was like that it wasn't gonna feel like your own space. - Yeah, I think like it wasn't gonna feel like my own space, and also that there would be like no privacy. - Yeah. - And I think, 'cause I came from having like my own apartment, like my own thing. So it's so used to having my own space. - No, I try not to walk into you guys's room. - Yeah. - So yeah, it's like really quiet. - It's really quiet in that neighborhood. - If I walk in there, Julie's gonna move out. (all laughing) - You don't go in there? - Um, very rarely. - And I look there even when they're fucking every hour of every goddamn day. - No, when you live here? - Yeah. - Yeah, but it's like a couple living there, it's like different. - Yeah. - The only person who's right was with Ilya. - My friend, all the time. - Oh my god, yeah, and it pisses me off so much. - Wait, what pisses you off? - Ilya, like he'll come into our room, all like unannounced like 9 a.m. - He doesn't even live here. - Exactly, like he'll be like, - Oh, 'cause he's training you guys. - No, just not even for that, like John could have shorts. Oh, Julie, I need some shirts for like, one of the trainees downstairs. And then also, I honestly, it's funny, 'cause it's actually me here. The biggest like thing that's annoyed me is Ilya. - That's really fun. - 'Cause he'll go into the gym and he's the only person who will put the speaker so loud at 8 a.m. where like our entire room is shaking. - I'm editing the vlog right now for where we go to the Hamptons, and I bet Ilya, to get him to go to the Hamptons, John was sitting in the pool and John had to make, this is what I have to do to get Ilya to go to the Hamptons for like palm tree festival, very fun thing. - Okay. - We had, by the way, we were taking a private jet there 'cause our friend had a jet, and we had accommodations in his $30 million office, like each had our own rooms. - Sounds awful. - And I'm begging Ilya to come. This is how I had to get him to come, okay? John was in the pool and there was like a little baby pool poop thing for basketball, and I'm like, I'm gonna give John three shots. If he makes one of them, you have to come to the Hamptons. If he misses all three, I'll give you $10,000, and Ilya's like, okay fine. But initially he said no to 5,000. Thankfully, John makes the shots, but I had to wait for $10,000 to get my friend to go to the Hamptons, and then we pick him up, and he goes and scans filming this, and Ilya's like, fuck you, fuck you, fuck you. And I'm like, he's like, it's fucking Thursday, and we're going to the fucking Hamptons. (laughing) - Boo, fuck you, it's so funny, because it's like, and he even says, he's like, I know this is confusing for people watching, but like, if I fucking hate this, it's really funny, it's like a really crazy, really crazy. - What is that is? - I don't know, I think he just likes to us to work. He just wants to work, and we view work differently. We asked him the other day, 'cause we're planning a trip to Kenya, and then we need people to go that we shoot with, and Ilya's like, if you offered me $10 million to go, I would have to think about it. - Like, he did ask of that. - Like, he actually said that shit. - Why? - 'Cause he is so locked in on his business, and he just can't fathom taking time away. - It's insane. I do think, I do think Zeele's gonna sell for like a good amount of money. I'm not even kidding, what Zeele is like laughing like I'm making shit up. I mean, you're God bless you, 'cause you have so much faith in your friends around you and God bless. - He can just use the $10 million towards his business. I don't get it. - Wait, well, I'm not giving him $10 million to go to Kenya, would he? - Well, I know that, but like, in that city. - You know, that's like not a fair statement, yeah. - I understand, I don't think he's actually being serious about the shock you're still caught on the statement. He just explains to me how bad he didn't want to go. - Yes, there are ways he can use $10 million though. - Dude, I was like, wait, call him back. Tell him he could use it on his business. (laughing) - No, yeah, I don't know, I do think that it's gonna, I always say this, Zeele, I'm always like, I know you're gonna be successful and you're gonna sell your business for a lot of money. - Yeah. - But when it does happen, I'm still gonna be pissed at you because you could have done it three years sooner and you could have done it in a more fun way than being, like, you know, being locked up or, I don't know, I just, I think we're, I think we're really lucky 'cause our business, I love that. - What? - I just wish I had a little bit of that in my life. That's so good. - What? - Just having fun along the way. - Well, that was like so hard, it's hard for me to do. It's so fun, you're the master of it. - Do you think it's so good at it? - Do you think? - I don't get it, I literally don't know how you do it. - Well, 'cause I kind of fell into this. - No, I know, but I don't, I don't get how you have that ability to just be like, no, no, no. Like yeah, we're just gonna have a good time and everything will work out. - I feel like David's very like internally like at peace. You know, like he's very like-- - Really? - Wow, what a compliment. You think so? - What does that mean? - Yeah, like, not saying that, like a peaceful-- - Enderman, and I think-- - And I answered the psychopath test, actually. I'm like, I'll, when I say-- - I check all the boxes. - Psychopath? - He's shut up. And I say epi's, I just mean like inside. Like he, he doesn't care if it goes one way or the other. He's cool as they're just fucking going. - What does-- - You know, like, I feel like your stance is on like life and death are very much in line with that. Your stance on like, if you're gonna pursue business or something is what kind of fun you're gonna have. Like everything's like, man, it's just gonna, I'm gonna do whatever the fuck I do and it's gonna happen and it's gonna like, you know? - And so you think the secret to his success that he doesn't care either way. Or he's so confident that he knows it'll work out for him. - I don't know if he's-- - I'm really good at like glorifying, not to speak over nap because I think she's almost making a point, but I'm really good at like, glorifying things. - And I need to put that down. - Yeah, I can shut the fuck up. I'm really good at glorifying things. So like, let's say I would, like how I glorify this house. - Sure. - High school, my friend group, I genuinely, and I'm not just saying it to say it, I genuinely believe in my, my heart of hearts that all of these are the greatest of all time. - Sure. - And that is the same way I'd operate if I had any job. If I was working as a substitute teacher in Wyoming, I would genuinely believe that I have the best teaching position in all of Wyoming and that like, my job couldn't get any better. And like I know that with anything. Like anything I do, no matter like what caliber it is. Like for some reason, I could just kind of paint it as like the best in my head. - Your worldview is making me very uncomfortable. - Really? - Yeah. - No, is that fair for what I just said? - Like that. - Like accurate. - But I am like pretty glass half empty, but that's when I'm trying to like manage expectations. I never like over-promising to other people. And I also believe that like the people, like, I don't know. That's it.
Okay, he got tired. Yeah, I got tired Ten years ago he would have finished that sentence. This is not fun anymore New job Find something else Wow Do you disagree Jay? No, I don't I don't know what his secret is like haven't figured it out But I guess a lot of what he said is true. He does have a good ability to like yeah I don't think anything gets him too upset if it's something doesn't happen The only thing he gets upset about is like if the bar is done wrong or something Well, I get it and that stuff's to me is so frivolous. I don't know which is fine. I mean This is what I was gonna say before I finished my thought. Yeah, I get really upset Like you know, like I'll get angry at you guys sure and I'll get like really angry at like my friend group But like I mean it out of like complete love right and I think that we're all so close yes That like it doesn't matter what we say to each other here because it's just kind of like unbreakable And I think and I think but I think our job Especially when we were doing the three-week I was very like about like I was very about it with my own health Especially I was like it doesn't matter if I get sick and I shrivel up and I die making these videos Like I owe it like I have such an opportunity where I get to make stuff for people Yeah, that like my health and I've always thought this about actors Oh you I have to say something the podcast all the time like when an actor is like I wish I had a childhood like fuck you I fucking hate that I hate that so much like I would give up my childhood Tenfold all the time to be able to like entertain the masses and to like like that is the best That's like the best gift and like if you have to sacrifice your own like Health mental health for it. It's 1,000 percent worth it. You know how they say like a youtubers get burned out I don't know if I think there are youtubers that unfortunately have like lame YouTube jobs where it's like a lame YouTube burnout But I really liked the videos we are making especially when we're three a week like like so much. Yeah, where the burnout still came Yeah, but like it had to because I because that's all I love doing. So I don't know. I don't know. It's like it's worth it Yeah, it's worth it and it's not even worth it. It's like you have to do it. Like you can't not seize that Almost like an athlete. Yeah, athlete has to train sucks. You got to go to practice it for a No, I don't think it sucks. You have to you have to fucking be excited. You're gonna practice it for you. Yeah Well, you have to make sacrifices. Yeah. Now I'm now. I'm more at the stage where I'm like it sucks. I have to go to practice that for you But but that that that that came with my new enemy and that's comfort and that's hanging out here with my roommates Yeah, what are you gonna do this week for in terms of let's do the comfort score right now? Like what level of comfort am I? No, like what kind of comfort things are you gonna now your home? Well, I just got fucked apparently. I may have to fly to New York tomorrow. What for job. I just landed today. You're kidding Yeah, so my comfort levels are teetering. All right guys. Well, that's all the time we have for today's podcast Thank you guys for listening.
