Dark True Reddit Threads

The video explores two deeply troubling real-life Reddit threads involving marital betrayal and severe privacy violations. In the first case, a woman discovers her husband secretly photographing and filming her former secretary, including graphic acts of bodily fluid contact with food, which he claims was a consensual bet. Though he denies wrongdoing, the evidence is overwhelmingly inappropriate, and the woman confronts him, leading to emotional turmoil and eventual legal action. The secretary is deeply traumatized and reports the incident, prompting police involvement. The husband ultimately reaches a non-criminal settlement with a fine donated to charity, but the woman remains devastated and reflects on the toxic dynamics of power, attraction, and control in relationships. In a second case, the woman discovers her husband secretly filming her intimate moments and sharing them online, leading to widespread harassment, doxing, and emotional abuse. She files a civil case, faces legal battles, and ultimately wins a restraining order and divorce. Both stories underscore the profound harm of non-consensual surveillance, the dangers of intimacy addictions, and the critical need for women to seek support, legal protection, and personal healing. The narratives emphasize emotional resilience, the importance of standing up against predatory behavior, and the long-term recovery process required after such traumatic events.

I found hidden folders on my husband's phone with pictures and videos he secretly took of his former secretary. Hi everyone, not a native speaker, so apologies in advance. We've been married since three years, in a relationship since over five years. After a long academic journey, we are both at the start of our careers and being pretty successful doing so. Recently, bought our dream house together, and simply enjoying the few years we got left to do whatever we like since we're planning on having kids in a couple of years from now. Our relationship feels, or felt to me, like it's made to last forever. We are sharing the same values, same humor, same goals. Also, we are both old and experienced enough to tell it's not just puppy love, but or anything like that. We both share pretty much open phone policy, which just came naturally, such as sharing pictures, simply grabbing the next device available to look something up, etc. We both own iPhones, and I recently stumbled across the possibility to mask/fade out. Sorry, I don't know the exact term, pictures, and they will only appear in a special folder. May culpa, may maxima culpa, that caught my attention concerning his phone. So last Monday, when he went for his swim training, he left his phone at home and I went for it. What I found was beyond every expectation I have had. I thought maybe I would find some random adult videos or even pictures of his ex or something like that. I found pictures and slow-mo videos he took in the office over a span of a few weeks of his now former secretary. She is a 21-year-old, pretty attractive girl. He recently got a new job and the pictures started around the time he knew he would quit his old job, and therefore probably would not see her again. The pictures mainly focused on her butt, her legs, and her heels. There were also saved profile pictures of hers from social media. Then there was something else which I still can't or don't want to believe. One series of pictures shows her butt in a tight dark jeans with some fresh/wet stains of something that looks like what's the word for it. Jizz on it. He kind of has a fantasy for anything that has to do with girls getting messy with Jizz in adult videos and/or real life. I felt and feel shocked and can't think of anything else since I found that Pandora's box. I did not talk to him about it yet. He's not suspecting anything even though I could not act around him normally. Hey masking what's wrong, I told him I don't feel well due to my period. Which is also true by the way. So please share your opinion on it. How should I approach this? Should I even approach it? Is this normal behavior? Has anyone experienced something like this? Thank you all for the support. And now the OP makes a edit to the post and it reads, "First of all, I just want to thank you all for caring so much regarding your comments. I feel the need to add some more context." He spoke to me about her regularly when he told me from his day at work. She was his personal secretary/assistant. They also talked private stuff but nothing inappropriate. More like small talk. What did he do over the weekend? Stuff like that. At least he told me so. But he always liked trying to make me a little bit jealous. Seemed to be a turn on for him. He tried so by telling me innocent things about other girls that were obviously attractive. Like she has new nails which look way better now. Or today she dresses a little bit inappropriate for work. He always said that with a smile. And of course I knew it was going on and what he was up to. And of course he, in retrospect, talked about her in that way. Most of the time it did not bother me since I was sure it would be something childish he needs for himself. Most of the time I wouldn't even react. He has no social connection to her anymore. Not in social media or in real life. The only connection/contact they do still have is in their phone numbers. She sometimes has to reach out to him to ask for some work related stuff since not all of his cases /projects have been finished when he left the job. He openly tells me about that when there was contact. Seems/seemed normal to me. What I don't know is where he has the social media pictures from. I looked it up. They are not connected via Instagram or Facebook and her profile is set on private. He doesn't use any other social media as far as I know. Some of the pictures were WhatsApp profile pictures, others probably not. That makes me wonder a little bit. Maybe I should try and hold myself back for a few days and see if the folder is updated regularly? What do you guys think? Also, I feel the urge to check on his other devices but did resist so far. And then the opening makes another edit to the post saying, "Edit, I'm overwhelmed with your responses." Certainly did not expect so much feedback and so much sympathy. Some responses even brought tears to my eyes. I'm pretty collect right now, although I think it'll be another sleepless night. I have a plan. I need to find out since so many of you suspect there is more to it. Tomorrow he will be at work while I'm working from home. All of his devices except for his phone will be here. I will look at them. I simply have to know. I know this could backfire but I'm being totally egotistic here. He lost his ride of privacy the moment he took pictures of this young lady. By the way, I met her a few times when I was visiting him at work and she is a true sweetheart. I'm getting angry at writing this at the moment. I will find out and will save the evidence and confront him. I will keep you guys updated. Should I keep editing this post or start a new one? I really don't know since I'm pretty much new to this active posting thing. The OP makes an edit the next day saying, "Edit/update. Good morning everyone. Right now I'm sitting in front of his computer. MacBook Pro was just connected to his phone. He's at work and will return in about four hours. I have absolutely no clue and where to search for evidence. I have always used Windows my whole life. I know some of you might not want to be a part of this but if anyone could provide some help, for example, where to find the photo stream, that would help me a lot. For anybody wondering how I'm doing, I didn't sleep a lot. Feeling empty at the moment with my heartbeat going very fast. Of course, he noticed. He was caring. He always is. And I tried my best acting. It's all due to my period plus my grains. Thank you all for your support." And then the OP comes back with a quick update saying, "I'm shocked. Calling my sister now. This is too much to handle for me. Oh no." And the OP comes back with another update saying, "Sorry for letting you guys wait for so long. Now I'm sitting here at my sister's house spending the first night without him for years. It's about 10 pm here in Europe if you wonder. After one of you guys told me about the photo's app on Mac, I opened it. It was a mirror of his phone and then some. There was a hidden folder with all of the spy picks. Also, there was an album by the name of her initials. It was the single most disgusting thing I ever saw. He took pictures, oh my god. He took pictures and videos of himself jerking it and jizzing into her prepped food in a tub of air while obviously being in his office bathroom. Oh my god. A few picks later, she was, oh my gosh. She A few picks later, she was eating her lunch at the office right out of that Tupperware pictures of him, uh, uh, uh, jizzing into a coffee or onto cookies. You can imagine the rest of it. Oh my God. Besides that, I found dozens of pictures and videos of her from social media, which all seem to be screenshots or screen recordings. I don't even know how to word this. I have absolutely no idea where he got these from since they are not connected officially on any social media. I already commented that I decided to call my sister who come over immediately. I was in a total state of shock and showed her everything. She was my rescue. And this is a million times worse than I thought it like I, that is so disgusting. But the OP continues and says she told me to grab an external hard drive and, uh, take a copy of all the stuff while I was packing my bags for the next few nights. We left before we got home. His laptop was still open with the album open where we left about two hours later. He tried to call me like a hundred times. My sister took the phone once and told him to stop it in a very explicit manner. He wrote and his messaging me messages constantly to come home and took about everything. We could fix this. He needs my help and stuff like that. I didn't answer. Not a single word. I'm just sitting here crying most of the time and feeling like the biggest idiot of all time for falling for a guy like him. It takes the floor under my feet. It scares me not knowing what comes next. Not knowing what to do tomorrow and how to deal with all of that. I also think that I should contact her. It's too much. I would appreciate your advice here. He is a lawyer. The city we live in is his hometown. His career would be over for sure if this happens to become public. I don't think he could ever recover. And for myself, I would always be his woman, the poor wife. And now it's getting into some of the top comments. Someone says you should also inform the secretary on what's going on. You don't know what else he's done into the exploitation. The Tupperware thing was gross AF. Hope you're coping well. Take it each day as it comes. You are strong. You will get through this. And someone responds and says the thing he did with the Tupperware is literally an intimacy crime he could and should be labeled as an S/O for that. And another user says, "I'm very sorry this happened to you, but I have a feeling you'll do the right thing taking actions with this. The fact that the girl has consistently unknowingly been consuming jizz in her workplace is unspeakable. There's not a lawyer who won't take up this case unless they don't have this stomach for it." Like that, like, well, I had like my body had like a knee jerk reaction to reading that. Like that is like the most disgusting and vile thing I can imagine. That is truly deranged and demented. What this guy was like, that is just, oh my god, this might be one of the grossest red threats I've ever read. But let's continue the Comptor says, "sensually that girl deserves to know, screw his career over. He should have thought of his career before jizzing into a young woman's food consistently and keeping proof of it." For a lawyer, he doesn't sound very well versus in the don't break the law when you're breaking the law concept and I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I truly can't imagine the pain but it's not your fault. This isn't the man you fell in love with. You're so strong for this, I'm sending you lots of hugs. Sincerely, I don't think this is fixable. He is an SO. It will never be safe for you or for the kids you want and it will be unspeakably cruel to act like there's a coming back point after this. Some relationships just run their course, sometimes people's behavior are too appalling to keep it running. And another user says, "You need to go to the police. I know you don't want anything to happen to him but he did something horrific to this poor girl. He put his jizz, his bodily fluids into her food and drank and gave it to her and filled her eaten it. He's probably done it to you." And aww, I didn't think of that but that's 100% possible. If he's doing it to the secretary, oh my god he could have done it to the OP as well. That is horrific but the commenter continues and says, "This isn't the first time nor will it be the last. Stop your husband from doing this to women. He's also got pictures and videos of her. That's illegal to film a woman's breasts and butt for all of this intimate gratification. Go to the police, tell them and show them everything, then get the best damn divorce lawyer and take everything from him, his money, the house, the savings, everything." Let the police handle telling the poor girl what happened. You do not want to be the one to tell her. She unknowingly consumed someone's bodily fluids and that person took videos and pictures of her body. That would completely break me if I was her. And then the OP comes back two days later with an update and it reads as follows. Hello everyone, I want to keep you guys updated and also ask for your further advice. I decided to talk to him and give him the opportunity to explain this whole thing from his perspective, not that I had any hope but a confrontation was unavoidable anyway. So yesterday, on Sunday, we met at our house. It is also my house. I told him my sister knew I was here and she would call me in about one hour to confirm if I'm okay. I have to mention I had no fear concerning violence or something like that. Anyway better safe than sorry. When I arrived, he initially was very reserved and observant. I acted calm and distant. We sat down and he said nothing. So I told him not to waste my time and to say what he had to say. He then asked me what I think I found and I couldn't help but respond that I found out he was a criminal and that I will report him to the police. That probably was a mistake. His mimic changed and he told me this would be a very bad idea and may result in some serious trouble for me. He claimed he hadn't a fair with his former assistant for quite some time. In this whole bodily fluid food thing was just a game/bet between them. The bet was he would make her eat his bodily fluids before he left the job. The pictures would be the proof and he already showed her all of them to win the bet. He said it was just a freaky game between them. The other pictures of her butt etc. were also taken consensually at least she knew about it. So he told me there was nothing illegal going on and if I would go to the police this would be wrong suspicion performed by me. Also nobody would believe me anyways because it would clearly be an act of revenge from the betrayed wife. Last but not least he would know the chief prosecutor personally which is true. So if I went to the police I would only make a fool of myself and also probably commit a crime. At that moment I couldn't think straight anymore. I reacted emotionally rather than thinking rationally. I lost it and told him to get out of the house. It got ugly. The result was he actually left the house. I had no idea if and when he might come back and also felt very uncomfortable in the house. I then packed a few more things and went back to my sister's house where I'm planning on staying for the week at least. Today I called in sick at work. Now I'm no fool and of course I see him being a lawyer trying to protect at least his career by claiming it was all consensual. He knows me very well and he knows our relationship was over the moment I found the pictures. I've always been very strict and consequent in formal relationships and he knows that. On the other hand his claim could be true. I think I will contact a lawyer as I need one for divorce anyway. At it I had to call her. We will meet in about two hours in a cafe next to the office. We seem surprised but not concerned. For your context we already met a few times when I was visiting him at the office and casually spoke a few words. So I'm not a stranger to her. I will drag some of the photos on my phone to show her. This whole thing feels so unreal but if I wouldn't do it, the feeling of not knowing and not being able to do something until next week when I meet my lawyer would be too hard to endure. But now let's get into some of the top comments. One user says he is lying out of his ass. He is a predator. My girlfriend is also a lawyer. Go to the police making official report they will do their job because if he's lying this girl needs to know who knows what else he's done to people. And another user says it isn't criminal to reports suspected criminal behavior. He's trying to scare her into staying quiet. Most of what he says is BS except if he knows the prosecutor. However, unless the prosecutor is corrupt, he would need to rescue himself and certainly not decide the case based upon knowing the husband, although that may have some influence. But since the facts have not been established that it was consensual and that the secretary was aware of the photos and the bet, certainly they could be established and no charges filed versus his threats that she has committed a crime by reporting this. Maybe in their country, there's something called wrong suspicion, but if you and good faith believe something. You can't report it, and they can investigate it or not, and file charges or not. I would have your lawyer handle all of this and not take advice from the sky, because I would bet a lot of money that the secretary was unaware of her bet to eat his bodily fluids. It's interesting that he's trying to defend himself by admitting to one bad act, cheating slash a fair, in order to protect himself from another bad and disgusting act, taking illicit photos and putting his bodily fluids into her lunch. Your marriage is over, so it really doesn't matter what he says. Just get legal advice and protect your assets, and at some point you can consult with the police to ask them if this is a crime. He has probably already called the secretary warning her that his crazy jealous wife is going to be making some ridiculous unfounded accusations. At least I wouldn't put it past him. Stop being emotional and call your lawyer today, preferably one from a different area, or who has no ties to your husband. And another user says, "I work in criminal defense. While I don't know exactly what country you're from," you mentioned Europe somewhere, I can confidently say that he is talking out of his ass. He is trying to manipulate you to not go to the police and he is freaking out. Badly, he doesn't even care about the marriage anymore because he isn't trying to deny it. Why would he do that? If it was truly consensual, why is he so freaked out about you possibly going to the police? Wouldn't he just try to deny it even happened and even save his marriage? No. He doesn't even care about the relationship at this point because he is preoccupied with getting convicted and losing his license. Why would he call you 100 times if he is just going to admit to what he did? There is no jurisdiction that I know of where you could ever get in trouble for simply reporting a crime. You see something that you think might be a crime and the police investigate, so please go to the police. Leave their names and the evidence and let them do the rest. They will go to the girl and ask her if it was consensual. Also, no prosecutor is going to cover something up this for a effing lawyer. Most prosecutors I know would love nailing a crap bag of attorney over something like this. At the very least, they aren't going to risk their jobs for one. This could be different if you live in a country with a lot of widespread corruption, Eastern, Europe, maybe, but even still you would never get in trouble. You thought you witnessed a crime and reported it. That's it. And then the OP comes back the next day with an update that reads, "When she arrived, I could already see by her mimics. She had no clue what was going on and why I asked her to meet me." This turned out to be true. The first thing I asked her was if he contacted her within the last couple of days. She denied. I had a feeling she was telling the truth. A 22-year-old girl, I asked her for her age, "Could not have lied to my face this calm and collect, I think." So I told her I found very inappropriate and disturbing photos of hers on his phone. I showed her some of the spy pictures on my phone and asked her if she knew or noticed about that. She reacted completely irate. The pictures I showed her were normal ones, so nothing about the really gross part just yet. I asked her about the relationship and his behavior towards her. She initially said everything was okay, and normal, and most of the time he used to be very polite. But she added that towards the end of his job, he used to approach her very often and talk to her about personal topics such as her relationship status. One time he made up a fictional scenario where he said he would ask her out if he wasn't married. When she replied to him, she would have said no in that scenario because she would want to separate work from private life. He acted offended and talked her into saying yes. I felt ashamed for his behavior and apologized for him. Then I told her that there would be something else which I needed to inform her about. I told her about the other pictures involving the food. I didn't plan to show her the pictures, but she just really wanted to see them. I showed them to her and she literally, nearly threw up. She was in the state of shock. It broke my heart so I sat next to her and took her hand. I told her I'm by her side and will support her whatever she plans on doing. I told her I already left the house and will divorce him. I couldn't help but started crying, seeing what he's done to that lovely girl. I asked her if she wanted me to accompany her on the way home, but she said she was okay. She went by car. She will talk to her family and certainly report him and also file a lawsuit against him. At least that's what she said. I feel so incredibly sorry for her it breaks my heart. At the same time I feel so angry about him and still hope this is just a nightmare. Hopefully I did the right thing. And now let's get into some of the top comments. And he says that you're my hero, so many people in your situation would choose not to confront the truth about their predatory husband and instead push the issue out of their minds. Instead you stood up for this young woman and did the right thing. Now all that's left is to follow up. Divorce proceedings, one hell of a lawsuit, destroying his reputation to a point where he can never be in a position of power over anyone in any workplace. And then hopefully peace and healing. This whole situation is beyond effed up, but you're honestly incredible. The world needs more people like you. Now to see it through to the bitter end. And someone else says well done on going with your instincts. Make sure the evidence is backed up in 10 different places. Some air-gapped two use a USB memory sticker five and hide them well. It sounds like this is going to be a criminal case. So I would suggest using your lawyer to hide a few copies too. And someone else says I'm a guy. You did the right thing. That sort of behavior you're soon to be X is completely unacceptable. It is beyond creepy, this is the definition of intimate harassment. I've known other women who have experienced various degrees of this sort of thing, but in this case, you should consider asking the secretary if she would be okay with going to the DA on if criminal charges should be filed. And I mean, I just can't imagine, you know, finding out that your co-worker or your boss did this to you. I mean, like this poor girl, like found out something horrific that is so beyond disgusting and gross and I hope that the OP X soon to be X husband goes to jail for a long long time. Like this is just horrific, but the OP comes back a few weeks later with a third update that reads as follows. One day after I meet her, she must have gone to the police and reported her. Two days later, I received a call from a police officer who asked me to show up at his office and bring the pictures I copied with me. Of course, I went there and handed them to him. I still own another copy though. He asked me if I wanted to testify. Correct word? But told me I didn't have to because he is my husband. I agreed and told him everything I know, how I found out, how I contacted her. The very next day, the police called me again and asked if I was home. A couple hours later, for policemen, my husband and a prosecutor showed up at our house. My husband handed them all electronic devices, hard drives, old phones, USB, etc. They also searched through our house for hidden ones, but as far as I know, they didn't find any. My husband told me he was currently living in the hotel room and said he would come back later to get some clothes and other belongings if that was okay. I agreed, but told him I would not be there. He said we need to talk, but he will not pressure me and give me time and space. He said he loves me and the whole thing looks more ugly than it actually is. It just got a little out of hand. To be honest, I would have loved to punch him right there in his face and/or scream at him, but I couldn't say a single word which was probably better anyway. that afternoon he previously. he got some stuff out of the house and when I came back, his keys would lie on the table next to a printed email from a craftsman who would come by a few days later to repair something with the garage door. Ever since I'm alone at the house, and really nothing has happened. I gotta be honest here, I canceled the appointment I originally had with my own lawyer concerning divorce. It's not that I'm having an illusion everything will eventually turn good. I just don't feel ready for it. It's been a little too much for me lately. I will proceed as soon as I find some energy. That's about it. He did not contact me. Not a single word. Even though I'm in constant contact to my sister, I feel pretty lonely and sort of depressed. Also, I'm a little scared alone at the house. We've had some birdie, bad thunderstorms lately at night. From what I've read in the previous comments, there was a discussion about where I'm from. I actually put a smile on my face getting so much attention. It's Germany. So one of you guys just won a wash machine. I think I pronounced that right. One user says, "I've never felt proud of a stranger before, but damn do I feel it now. I'm sorry you have had to deal with all of that BS. I'm glad that girl is getting justice." And someone else says, "Holy effing crap. I hope you guys have strict laws about this stuff." And he gets locked up for a very long time. And another commenter quotes the OP when the OP says, "He said he loves me and the whole thing looks more ugly than it actually is. It just got a little out of hand." And the commenter replies and says, "That MFR." Who does he think he's fooling? Remember when that A-hole tried to tell you that it was consensual? And if you went to the police, it would go bad for you. It reminds me when predators tell the miners that, if they say anything to their parents, they will get in trouble. I'm glad you were not having it. I hope his job and his prosecutor buddy, all the things he thought he could use to protect himself and Loki threatened you with, I hope they all turn on him. I know you don't feel like dealing with a divorce right now, but don't sit on it too long. He's looking at lawsuits and legal fees and judgements against him. Your share assets with him and you will want to separate your finances as quickly as possible. P.S. for what it's worth, I think you've done everything exactly right in a very difficult situation. That's crazy. And then the OP comes back two months later with a final update that reads as follows. Since my last pose from our slash relationship advice got removed after a few minutes, I decided to post my latest and probably last update here. Hello everyone. I have received lots of messages asking for updates, so I decided to post one. I know a lot of you guys will be disappointed and that's okay. It was a very tough time. Lots of emotions, fights, tears, sleepless nights, but eventually he is my husband and I am his wife. In the good times and in the bad, we are giving it another chance. I will not explain every detail that led us to this point and I will say it was not an easy decision to make. We had very good conversations. He really opened up to care of my feelings and really didn't pressure me. I know what he did was wrong. Of course he knows that as well, but saying it was all his fault would not be fair. She is not that innocent girl I thought she was. Of course I blame him for falling for her but she must have made it through to him and in the end he is only human. I know what victim blaming is but that is not the case here. Again, I will not go into details, but she knew exactly what she was doing. She knew how he likes women's dresses, shoes, nails, etc. She must have been flirty with him from day one, which is almost for three years now. I couldn't even blame a man for getting weak, certainly not for finding another valve. She is not an angel. Probably most of you guys will now consider me weak and best case will tell if he was gaslighting me. Feel free to do so. It's okay. It's my life, my marriage, my shoes to walk in. For the criminal proceeding, he reached a deal and paid a fine. The money will be received by charity. There was no court proceedings. At this point, she did not sue him, which I think speaks for itself. Anyways, I still love you guys and I'm very thankful for all of the support I received. At it, I feel the need to explain a little bit more of my decision. I married him knowing all of his fantasies and interests. I knew the typical adult star look is his thing. Now, throwing her fulfilling most of these cliches. Big breasts, big butt, small waist, all dolled up, lashes, nails, high heels running in and out of his office, taking care of him, always in a good mood, laughing. She is a smart and confident girl. She knew exactly how she was triggering a 30 year old man. She knew he had her WhatsApp, he showed me her full profile picture, changing on a weekly basis. Hell, even I think they are attractive. Not saying she deserved what he did, but I now understand that dynamic and what her appearance, having her around all day, did to him and how it must have triggered him. When I was her age, I knew exactly how to manipulate a man intimately. I'm sure most women do. She definitely does. He decided not to cheat on me, not to start in the fair. He just chose a wrong exit. He could and should have talked to me. That was the mistake he made because together we would have found a way. I'm not prudent, not religious and I don't hate other women, but women shouldn't act surprised they force a reaction in men looking like an adult star. In my experience, men around the age of 30 are nothing different than a 15 year old boy in the middle of puberty. That combination was toxic. One user says, "This is the most revolting piece of victim blaming I have ever seen. You and your disgusting husband deserve each other. Your husband put his bodily fluids into her food and filmed her eating it. How the F did she make him do this? She didn't. Your husband is just a disgusting predator." And someone else says, "Your husband is disgusting and gets off on abuses of his power. You are enabling him. He will do it again." And someone else says, "Really? You're going to blame her for your husband being a predator? Please seek therapy. You are deluding yourself in victim blaming and frankly it is sad and pathetic. Your husband is not going to change. But he will know how easy it is to get you to overlook his criminal activity. Not all 30-year-old men are obsessed with adult videos and intimacy. Frankly, I'm confused why you even think that. You're just lying to yourself in so many different ways it is astonishing." And someone else says, "You cannot be serious. She took him back. He literally SAED this secretary and she took him back and is now blaming this poor girl who filed a police report because she didn't consent to him jerking it into her food. W-T-F. And we have never received another update from the OP." When it comes to clothes, I like having a few go-to pieces that work for pretty much any situation. Whether I'm recording, going out or relaxing at home, I keep things simple. And with the holidays coming up, Quint is a great place to shop for essentials for myself and also gives for friends and family. I've been wearing Quint's for a while now. And their t-shirts, shorts and collared shirts are regular parts of my wardrobe. They're comfortable, fit, great, and are easy to throw on every single day. Which is why I genuinely recommend them. Recently, I've been wearing their 100% organic cotton mesh stitch sweater polo. It's a great middle ground between a regular t-shirt and something a little more dressed up. But it still makes an outfit look a little bit more put together without sacrificing comfort. And if you've looked at a past few intros I've done in other videos, I've worn this and a lot of them. I truly love this shirt. And Quint's offers quality materials. like Mongolian cashmere, 14 karat gold, and Italian leather. For colder weather, they also have cashmere sweaters starting at $60, down jackets, wool coats, and cashmere accessories. Beyond clothing, you can find fine jewelry, leather handbags, bedding, cookware and luggage, so there are plenty of options for everyone on your list. What stands out is that quince prices are typically 50 to 80% lower than comparable brands. By working directly with ethical factories and cutting out the traditional middleman, they can offer quality materials and construction at more accessible prices. Give the gift of quality this holiday season. Download the quince app for app exclusive offers or go to quince.com. Get free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada and the UK too. And when quince asks where you heard about them, let them know it was snuck. It's the best way to support the show. Thank you so much for quince for sponsoring today's video. And now, let's get back into it. My husband posted my body online. Last Friday, I, 34 female, spent my evening with fake name Kate, a young friend, 24 female from work. As she wanted to discuss something personal with me, I didn't think anything of it. And as we do have a very personal relationship outside of work as well. As soon as I arrived to her place, the tension in the air was thick. She explained that she wanted to discuss a serious matter with me, but that she didn't know how to go about it. I told her to just rip the bandaid off and tell me. She told me that she had found two recordings of a woman she believed to be me on a adult video website. I told her that wouldn't be possible, but she was adamant that I was the woman in the recording. And she was right. I've never recorded myself unclothed or having intimacy with my husband, but there I was in two recordings of seven minutes and four minutes, both of them recorded in our bedroom. As I rewatched every second of it, it starts to dawn on me that this was my husband's doing, but I pushed that deep down because there must be a reasonable explanation for this. Honestly, I left her place with my mind in a complete meltdown. I could barely hear what she was saying, but she did follow up with the text saying, she's been in contact with the website about getting it taken down and that she'll help me go through this. She also said she's scouring the internet in case there are more out there. I came home and pretty much ransacked my house, looking for evidence and I found it. My husband was using a hidden spy camera to spy on me and record me in my most intimate moments. I then just spent hours vomiting, crying, projectile, vomiting some more and begging God to just let this be a nightmare. I am deeply religious and a fully veiled Muslim woman. And I have never been with anyone but my husband. In all this time, he has been sharing my most intimate moments with the world. I don't know what to think or what to do. I can't look at him or speak to him. I've locked myself in our bedroom, pretending I have a sickness. All I do is look up how other people have dealt with getting things removed and it seems like once it's on the internet, it really is forever, even if I remove it from this one website. I've been crying non-stop. He truly must be something demonic as he is right now talking about ordering in some of my favorites to see if I have an appetite since I haven't been in well. I am so unbelievably hurt. I don't know how to share this with my family or how to ask for help. I am crippled with shame, anger and pain. Answering some questions. Number one, my husband soon to be ex-husband and I are the same religion, race, ethnicity and nationality. Number two, my culture does not participate in honor killings and I'm not afraid of my family hurting me or not siding with me. Number three, my family would support me in divorcing him. In fact, they would demand I do. Number four, the laws in my country are secular, but in certain circumstances, it allows for the various religious groups in the country to hold their own courts that can enforce their rulings as long as it doesn't impose or break secular law or civil liberties. Number five, I do plan on taking this to secular courts and religious court as I want him punished. Number six, I am veiled by choice and the vast majority of my fellow country women do not veil. Number seven, I am the Cobb, meaning the only part of me visible to the public are my eyes. When I'm with my family or with other women slash in women only spaces, I do not veil. And number eight, Kate and I do not share the same religion nor dress alike and yet we are friends. One user says that is a golden friend and another user says it take pictures on the camera equipment. Screenshot the videos, contact the website and request to have them taken down depending on the website. They don't have to be in any sort of specific adult video charges so they should pull them down immediately, may even give you information on when it was uploaded, slash email account slash et cetera. And another user says as a fellow Muslim woman, sweetheart, my heart bleeds for you. We trust our men with our honor to do this is disgusting. The violation is scary. I know but you are strong. Divorce him. Never let him near you again. Tell your parents but you don't need to tell anybody else. I know you're scared that people are going to see but they are not. Nobody is going to know. Relax. The video will get taken down and you will be okay. Alla knows, he knows your heart and he knows your husbands. Alla will protect your honor. He will never let it happen. I am rooting for you. And the OP responds and says we are without a doubt getting a divorce. I have started to make plans. I have scheduled for movers to help me put my stuff into storage on Thursday morning while he's at work. Then I'm off to see my parents and siblings. I've asked them to all be there kind of want to get it all out in one go. I wish I could say the recordings haven't spread but it has. I'm not worried about alla God as I know I've done nothing wrong and there's nothing I could ever do to deserve this kind of treatment. Thank you for your kind words. I can only trust that if he cannot be punished in this lifetime that he will be punished in the next. And then the OP comes back with an update three weeks later that reads as follows. I left him as I said I would. He went to work. The movers arrived. We packed my stuff and we left. The entire time I was crying to the point that even the movers were worried for me but I could not stop myself from crying. I went home sat with my parents and siblings down and explained the situation. My parents were and still are confused. They are elderly and fragile. They don't understand the internet. They just keep saying, okay, let's talk to the people and it'll be gone. But my siblings understand. They are angry. They are sad and heartbroken on my behalf. My siblings and brother-in-laws took me home. We waited for him and well, we had a conversation with him. He denied it at first so my brothers were firm with him and he started to be more truthful. He said he did it because he was depressed because he had an adult video addiction. A intimacy addiction. And because he didn't think anyone would see it. He said he only posted a few. When we asked him to be specific, he said he posted anything from five to eight. We had him take it down but who knows how many times it has been downloaded or shared. In that moment, I also found out he had a secret phone. He was also cheating on me with random women and intimate workers. All this time, I was thinking he's working hard, but nope, he was out disgracing himself and betraying our marriage. At some point, he convinced us he needed to use the bathroom and he somehow managed to call his mother who arrived at our home with his brother and cousins. There was a commotion as they were angry at the treatment of their family member that things calm down enough to explain to them what he had done. His mother fainted, his mother is elderly and not in the greatest health condition. We called for an ambulance. My neighbor had also called the police and I was arrested by the time the ambulance arrived to take care of my mother-in-law. I spent the evening locked up, didn't exactly have polite conversation with him. So yes, I was arrested for hitting him, slapping him and he refused to press charges. Got released the next morning and went home to my parents. Cried some more because my parents kept crying. Then a few days later I spoke to some lawyers, my sister had contacted as they had experienced with non-concentral material being posted online. They have been handling things with the police as I did press charges and they are dealing with the websites. I also have started the process of divorce. I went to the clinic and got tested and luckily he didn't give me anything so far, but I have another test scheduled just to make sure. I have spoken to his mother and she apologized to me even though it's not her fault. She told me that she understood why I want him punished. She asked that I let it stay in the hands of the law rather than I hurt him or have him hurt. He's in hiding, but he still calls and texts me from random numbers. He still lies and he tries to manipulate me. I've just been documenting everything he says and texts to me. Oh, at this point everyone knows. I mean everyone, even little kids and I feel even more humiliated now than I did at first. Some person says I know things feel impossible right now, but you're going to get through this and you are going to be okay. I wish you the very best. You deserve much better. And another user says, oh my sister, it's your A-hole soon to be ex-husband who should be humiliated. Everyone knows he treated you horribly, possibly illegally. He is scum. Stay strong. And another user says, oh my god, it gets even worse. They put you in jail. I'm so sorry. I hope you can get punishment for that horrible man. And then the OP comes back two or three months later with another update that reads as follows. The more I know, the more I just want the Earth to swallow me up. This man has destroyed everything I've worked for, and has completely destroyed the very little sense of stability and safety I had left. I had to resign from my job. A job that I loved. Jobs don't come easy for me with the way that I look. I can't work there anymore because I am a potential danger to the staff and the children. Since perverted men have started to harass me at work. I work with vulnerable children and mothers who have heard about me have started to refuse me working with their children. Some don't want me to be involved with their child because their husbands can't stop being weird. Fathers have leared at me or made lute comments toward me. And one of them even offered me money to sleep with him. Men have cat called me with greater frequency than ever before. Men stare at me, a man followed me home from my dentist office and touched me on the street. Random men call my phone, my family home in office to verbally abuse me because my husband has posted my address, my personal and work email, phone numbers, workplace address, and every other bit of information online. It is as if the eyes and judgment of the entire world is on me. Yes, the great majority of people are sympathetic, kind, and in support of me. Many people have reached out in support of me, from old classmates to former colleagues, neighbors, members of my religious community, family friends, his family, and many, many more have expressed solidarity and kindness, but the crazy and pervs who believe him and are like him are bolder, louder, and much more noticeable. When I find out from my lawyers and their investigators that he was drugging me and assaulting me as I slept, I suffer from migraines and insomnia and take medication for it. He saw my medication as an opportunity to drug me with my own prescriptions. He shared was actually bragging on a forum where other pervs congregate how he was so clever for drugging me with my own medication and they were encouraging him to do more things to me. Soon to be ex-husband has also decided to spread rumors that I was aware of the cameras and pressured him into posting online and there are people who believe him. He has also changed his mind about not pressing charges. I went to court. The judge and prosecutors were sympathetic and dismissed the case. There was a combination of my lawyers explaining the circumstances that led me slapping him and his subsequent actions, threatening me, attacking me, doxing me, and blackmailing me by saying he didn't care about the slap and that he would drop everything if I forgave him. My lawyers used his own words against him since he wrote it in text and on a recorded call. He admitted to me not having slapped him that hard and that he only pressed charges it to cause me harm. But his crimes against me are still being investigated by the prosecutors. Uploaded this before but it was deleted for some reason. And then the OP comes back a few weeks later with another update titled, "It all boils down to jealousy and me emasculating him. I wish I could say I was feeling better or doing better, but I feel awful and I am still struggling with everything. It is still his life's mission to be as cruel as he can be and to stand in the way of every step I make. He is still refusing to work with my divorce lawyer. He continues to be difficult every step of the way and has run off his own lawyers. He is now on his third lawyer and we are again starting from scratch in the divorce negotiations. He has been granted an extension by the courts due to his last lawyer just dropping him a few days before our hearing. As for posting non-concentral material, a trial date was scheduled and he recently asked for an extension and he'll probably be granted it as his criminal lawyer dropped him too. So in last month he has been dropped by his divorce lawyer and his criminal lawyer. The man is on a roll. When it rains it sure pours. My father passed a little over a month ago and my mother is now in hospice care and she is soon to be back to gone. I am sad but not shocked about this as I have had a long time to prepare for it. My father has been battling cancer for almost three years and so as as prepared as a person can be and my mother's health had been declining significantly for years due to her dementia. Soon to be ex-husband decided it was a great idea to corner me at the venue. He held the after funeral meal at. He decided to wait for me to be alone. He approached me as I was cleaning up the venue. I was on my own and at that time I was kind of exhausted and could not muster up the rage to chase him off as I had done many times before. So I just let him talk. He seemed almost decent as he was giving his million excuses on why things were the way they were. He cried about how awful he feels for hurting me. Then he started telling me about how he always felt. I was better than him and everything as I made more money, was better educated, had been better traveled than him and that he felt jealous of my confidence and how in the beginning these were things that he has most attracted to. But as a relationship and marriage progressed, these were the things he started to dislike about me. He also said that he was angry that I refused to consider being a stay-at-home wife and mother, even though he knew from the beginning that I wasn't the stay-at-home/homemaker type. He said that he tried to be a good husband, but that my refusal to bend or let him have the last saying things was the catalyst for his anger and need to humiliate me. He talked about how he always had an addiction issues, but he thought that if he was married, he would be cured of his depression, his adult video and intimacy addiction. And he felt like if I ever found out I would have never married him and/or would divorce him, and that angered him and pushed him to want to punish me for thinking I was better than him. He was jealous and angry about so many things, but when I said to him, so he hurt me because he felt jealous and inadequate in comparison, he lost his mind and started to shout and say that he knew I would react that way. I decided to refrain from commenting further and just let him spill his guts uninterrupted. For three hours, he made excuse after excuse for why he did what he did. But it all comes down to him feeling inferior to me, him being jealous and angry that I dare have a mind in life of my own. He said right before our wedding, he joined a men's online group that were helping him deal with his adult video and intimacy addiction, and one tip given was to make your own adult videos and watch that instead. But he knew I'd never agree to it, so it was my fault he needed to spy on me, and that he never intended to share it with others, but one day I had angered him so much and as a payback, he posted it and he felt good. And so every time I emasculated him by having my own mind or upset him in some way or another, he would post more. Eventually, he gained a following and had so many men asking him to post more, he started to like the fact that other men looked up to him for his intimate prowess and at the same time his intimacy addiction started to come back and he fell back into his habit of picking up women and when he couldn't get it for free, he would hire an intimate worker. Then I guess it spiraled out of control for him. The more he spent on his addictions, the more lies he told, the more he felt like a failure for me covering our expenses, the more he resented me and he got stuck in the cycle of self-destruction which in turn only fueled his anger with me. He also says he joined a support group for addicts and started going to an addiction rehabilitation clinic as an outpatient to deal with his issues and that I should give him credit for that. He feels that I should be proud of him for doing that and that I should take him back since he's putting in so much work. He also feels I should appreciate him not stalking me since my dad died and he is sincere in feeling this way. He genuinely doesn't understand why I'm not seeing how hard he's been trying the past few months in his deluded mind. He thinks that his honesty in our conversation should count for something and that I am just a heartless b-word for having been stoic and unmoved by his tears and his show of vulnerability. Even though he gave me a great performance of being human during our conversation, I remained unmoved by it because there was nothing to be moved about. I just continued to pack things up from the venue and got in my car and went home. I'm still not working. I still have crazy men calling my phone at all hours of the day and I still feel humiliated and embarrassed. The only good thing that has happened is that several of these sites have taken down the recordings and banned him from using their platforms. Someone says I hope they lock them up and throw away the key and take away every cent he owns to pay you damages for emotional distress, loss of income, etc. Can you get a restraining order in mace or your local equivalent thereof? Also, have you considered moving abroad and starting fresh? It feels like this crap will stick to you as long as you stay where everyone knows about it. When your mother has gone too, I don't know if there is much holding you back. I would really consider going someplace far away where you can work in your field again. And another user says absolutely revolting. I'm sure you don't need to hear it from another person, but you don't deserve any of it in your ex deserves to rot in a hole for his complete disregard and disrespect towards you. I hope you're doing better with your grief and other struggles. And although the proceedings have been extended due to his idiotic ass being dropped by lawyers, know that there is an end to this and look towards that, sending all the love. And then the OP comes back a few months later with a final update that's titled "Curses are like young chickens. They always come home to roost." And this reads as follows. Finally, I have some good news. So a while back, I was granted a restraining order/protective order, and my now officially ex-husband did continue to stalk and harass me. After the umpteenth time of calling the police and going to court, he was finally imprisoned and he has been imprisoned for a little over a month now. I was also granted my divorce. I initially wanted a quick divorce and wanted to just give him everything he asked for, but he kept finding ways to delay or asking for more and more and more and I just snapped. So I told my lawyers to do their worst and they did. My lawyers hated him and I got everything I wanted and way, way, way more. Not to gloat, but it was really satisfying seeing him cry. This has been the most peaceful month in a long, long time. This entire time has been such a trying time and it has affected my mental and physical health. I've lost a ton of hair due to the stress he was causing me, but I can honestly say that him whaling in court was the chicken soup my soul needed. I've moved from my city and now live on the other side of the country and I've gotten myself a decent enough job. I am slowly mending my confidence. I am in therapy and can't say it's working right now, but I know if I stick with it, it will. The non-consensual material he posted has been moved from the most reputable sites he posted on and my lawyers were able to get monetarily compensated as these companies didn't want to go to court over it. I mean money doesn't really change things that much and I am still hurt, but it's something. I'm also not so delusional as to think that it isn't still out there in some way or another. And I know there really isn't much I could ever do about that, so I'm just trying to make peace with it. X Husband will be serving time in prison for what he did to my lawyers are working with the courts, and that should be sorted soon enough. I think the reality of the consequences are becoming very clear to him as I have heard through the grapevine that he attempted to commit S word and is now in protective custody until his trial date. He is facing up to 30 years and corporal punishment and I absolutely look forward to it. Someone says I prayed for you sister and from time to time, check your page to see any updates. I'm grateful to Allah that you can now sleep peacefully knowing that human demon is in hell. He created and inshaAllah will be serving 30 years there and hopefully feel the way you felt there. I hope they make his life a living hell there. Good luck in life and may you find a great husband who will love and honor you. They weigh Allah intended it to be. And the OP response that says thank you for your prayers. I also hope they make him pay. Amen. And we have never received another update from the OP. But luckily the OP seems to be doing much better now and hopefully that guy is now rotting in jail. And before we move on to the next one, I just want to quickly let you guys know about my patron. And so a lot of bang for your buck. And so please consider joining the link is in the first link in the description in the pinned comment. Thank you so much for the support. And now onto the next one. OP's husband tries to kill her. She seeks help from our slash relationship advice. My 37 female as of one hour ago, HB to me, common law husband 45 male of four years struggles with his mental health. He takes pills for depression, but doesn't particularly like the way they make him feel. Once every six months or so, he stops taking them. He becomes violent and emotionally abusive until he eases off the withdrawals by taking them again. He apologizes. I chalk it up to it's not Not him, it's the withdrawals, and we move on. Recently, he made the decision to stop entirely, and the results were even worse than normal. I made the decision right then, and there that we couldn't be together anymore until he sorted himself out. One way or another, he made threats of S-word, but clearly hasn't done it. Financially, he needs a few weeks to sort things out. He claims that he loves me, but he also understands my position. I'm a little uncomfortable, living with a man who threatened to beat the crap out of me. But again, withdrawals, not him. I can handle it for a couple of weeks. I just learned that he is talking to other women. He has downloaded some dating apps, and is quite happily pursuing other relationships. I don't want him as he is at this moment, but I was operating under the assumption that eventually we would sort it out and come back together. My question is this, where do I go from here? I am so angry and feel hugely disrespected. I'm allowing him to continue to stay here until he finds a place. I feel like he can hold off on finding a new girlfriend until he has at least sorted out the mess he has created in his own marriage. And I very much want to confront him and tell him to leave, but I'm also worried that if I don't give him some slack, he'll just commit S-word. At what point do I stop worrying about him and his well-being and start caring about my own? And then the Opie comes back a few days later with a horrifying update that reads, "My husband hit me yesterday. Not gonna lie, it was bad. If I hadn't gotten away, I am reasonably confident that he would have killed me." At least, he said he was going to. He was arrested and charged with assault by choking, uttering threats to cause death and mischief under $5,000. He was released without bond, and there is an order of protection in place. I don't believe that he will breach it. My question is this, "What can I anticipate being the end result of this?" He has an otherwise clean record, and while he has a history of being volatile, has never physically hit me before, is he likely to receive jail time. Obviously, our relationship is over, but I do want him to get the help that he needs. I'm not sure that jail, especially a provisional jail without programs, is going to be the best place for him. Thank you in advance. Edit, thank you all so much for your input, shared experiences, and advice. I very much appreciate all of you taking the time to comment. I think my question regarding jail time has been answered. I perhaps did it make it clear in my original post. My husband suffers from mental illness. I like in it to a big earthquake. The plates are shifting, and there is the occasional release of pressure, but it's all building towards the big one. San Francisco's sunk. The big one is passed. I will honor the no contact order, and I'm confident that he will as well. He effed up irrevocably, and I'm aware that without significant professional intervention, it could happen again. I just want to make sure that he receives the professional intervention and isn't just tossed in a cell. One user says this isn't legal advice, but you should know that domestic violence that involves choking the victim, increases the likelihood by like 10 times that the offender will eventually murder the victim. You need a permanent order of protection, and you should probably relocate. And the OP response that says, "Thank you. Easier said than done, of course. It's all very overwhelming." And another user says, "You need to be in a safe place. Just because he hasn't done it again doesn't mean he won't hurt you again. Go somewhere he would never think of and hire a good lawyer." And someone responds and says, "Please follow this advice, given that your husband strangled you. You are at a seven times higher risk for getting killed by him unless you manage to stay away from him permanently. You should talk to the officer assigned to the case and inquire about getting a protection order, spend your energy on protecting yourself, not on trying to get help for him." And another user says, "If he has found guilty of some or all of the counts, your husband is highly unlikely to receive jail time if your injuries from this event were not severe or long lasting. By way of likely sentence, given the lack of criminal record, I would expect something called a conditional discharge or suspended sentence, which are sentences that emphasize rehabilitation through probation. No matter what the sentence, your husband will almost certainly be placed on probation, including an order that he attended counseling as directed by his probation officer. Even if he were jailed, he would still be placed on the probation order. And almost all his mandated or voluntary programs and counseling would take place following his time in custody." And the OP response and says, "My physical injuries will heal and I suspect that the bruises will only last a couple of weeks. Thank you for your insight." And then the OP comes back a few months later with an update titled "Racantin" that reads as follows, "Hello, a few months ago my husband hurt me, cops came, took pictures and my statement. We are in the process of reconciliation, and that would be easier if there wasn't this looming over us. Is there any way that I can recant or otherwise mitigate the charges? And now let's get into some of the top comments." Someone says, "Do not get back with him. Words mean nothing." And the OP response and says, "That's fair. I understand your opinion." And another user says, "Men that hit women don't deserve second chances to abuse. It as far away from this guy as you can." And then the OP comes back with a final update that reads as follows, "Long story short, husband strangled me with promises of death, as well as destroying my phone, lest I call for help." Along with numerous other items in our home, he was charged with assault by choking, uttering threats of death and property at destruction. "Hi, all. It has been a journey. And I thought after so many of you were so kind, I owed it to you to an update, though it's not quite over yet. Despite the urging that each and every commenter had, we reconciled. He was very sorry you see. It was a difficult time for him. And I wasn't appropriately supportive/appreciative of that. He was very sorry. He cried a lot. He didn't know what happened. He blacked out. It would never, ever happen again." He would spend the rest of his life making it up to me. I did leave out of my original post mostly because I wasn't aware at the time that he had been using a significant amount of booger sugar in the months leaned up to the assault. I found out he dabbled several months prior, made it clear that I was a deal breaker, and assumed that he had stopped. When we reconciled, there were conditions that I had laid out. He must attend therapy. He must take his antidepressants. He is absolutely forbidden from using illicit drugs. I explained my reasoning. Deviation from any of those conditions would make me feel unsafe. He agreed. He came home substantially before the order of protection was lifted. We hid it much as we hid his attack from our families. But we were both doing the work and honestly, it felt like we were better than ever. Honeymoon stage. As soon as the order was lifted, all attempts to better himself, understand himself, understand why he behaved the way that he did stopped. Like, give you whiplash. It was so abrupt. We were still okay, but I started to get the old egg shells feeling I used to have. Fast forward a couple of months, I was doing laundry in the morning before I had to drive my grandma to her doctor's appointment. Checking pockets like any woman who's had a lag bolt go through the spin cycle does. And I come across a very tightly rolled $5 bill. Nope. Not doing it. Not having it. How dare you. I confronted him later. It was my fault for snooping. Um, no. Your jeans still got cleaned. They just arrived with a side helping of consequences. He said we were done. I said, nope, you messed up. You got caught and now you're going to make it better. You don't get to decide unilaterally for both of us after all we've been through that you're done now. Too bad. figure it out. He was pretty awful for a couple of days, and I got to rethink my knee jerk reaction. My desire to hold on to a relationship that apparently only existed in my own mind, or if he felt like it, was weighed and found lacking. He changed his tune on day 3, but by then I'd made the decision to put myself first. He was a little surprised. Not gonna lie, the time between me telling him we were done, when I moved out was the scariest time of my life. He would accuse me of not being scared because the bedroom door wasn't locked. Well, it was damn well locked the night you tried to kill me. What's the point in locking it now? He would call me horrible names, scream at me, advance on me, and I'd flee my home. He would use constantly and then send the most horrible texts. I stayed with friends most of the time. As terrible as it sounds, I'd harbored some hope that he'd follow through on his threats of S-word, just so that it would stop. Ultimately, Crown and I worked out a plan for him going up forward. For the record, he and his family still think that I should drop the charges so we can move on. We've agreed on a guilty plea to a lesser assault, waive the other charges, and in return, he will receive a conditional discharge. Eighteen months probation. Three free programs that he'll be required to take. Apparently, the reason he's abandoned therapy is because he cannot afford it. And if he does those and keeps his nose clean for the 18 months, they will wipe his record. This could theoretically happen next month, though it's been pushed and pushed and pushed. So the takeaway here, I am a flaming idiot forever trusting him again. Funnicide, he's refused to go to the bank with me to have my name removed from our joint accounts. Despite my explanation of the situation to a manager alone, but he has relentlessly it bounced payments. Yesterday, they took an awful lot of money out of my account to cover the payments past the overdraft in his. I truly believed that we could have worked it out if he had gotten the help that he needed and wasn't using drugs. I thought I could force those things to happen. I'm smart and funny and pretty. Plus, I can cook. And I'm not too shabby and bad if I say so myself. The horror of what he'd done combined with the very real possibility of losing me should keep him in line. Yes? No. As it turns out, there's no rhyme or reason to mental health issues, especially mixed with addiction. There's no coming back from you're going to die when someone's hands are wrapped around your throat. I am infinitely sorry that I didn't listen to the advice given to me initially. I read your comments back then. I cried a little and then thought they don't know him like I do. You are right. And I'm grateful to each and every one of you. Much as I am grateful for every breath that I get to breathe, it took me longer than it should have to be here. But here I am. Breathing freely with peace in my heart, though a substantially lighter bank balance. And then the OP ads, some more context in the comments saying hi everyone. Thank you all for the support of comments. I want to assure everyone that I am empathetically out of that relationship, attending therapy regularly and working on improving myself every day. There will be no taking them back, ever, despite the begging that he did back then. I am very fortunate to have survived. And I shared my story in large part to help other people who might be experiencing something similar. Abuse is tricky. I never really blamed myself, but I very much blamed everything but him. If he hadn't been having a hard time at work, if he felt better on his meds and wanted to take them, if he'd had a better childhood, a better relationship with his family, his children, if he could make peace with all of those things, we could move on with being the amazing couple I knew we were destined to be. It took me a bit of time and therapy to recognize that was in fact who he was, that the loving, caring, supportive husband I got 75% of the time was actually a facade for the selfish, angry, impulsive, it's never my fault monster underneath. Thank you all for listening and weighing in. I hope you all have a fabulous day. My wife cheated on me and says it's not her fault. This past week the kiddo and I went on a two day camping trip for some father, son, bonding time. My wife doesn't like camping herself at all anymore and doesn't even appreciate our kid and I going. This is a big hobby for me and I want to share with my son. Usually we argue a lot about my trips especially if I request to bring our child, but this time she was oddly cooperative about the whole thing, but still insisted she would enjoy us. I was surprised but didn't question anything because I was so excited that she was finally allowing us to go and I didn't want her to change her mind. I thought we had finally found a common ground and the arguments were ending. I was wrong. We had a great trip and returned back on Monday. We expected to come home to an empty house as my wife should have been at her office for a few more hours. I walked the kid up to his room as he was exhausted and ready for a nap, after I walked into our bedroom to find an unclothed man in my bed. I recognized him as my wife's coworker, whom I have met numerous times at her work functions. At first I was in disbelief and even wondered if I was in the right house. Then my wife walked out of our bathroom, also unclothed and I had no more doubts. She looked petrified when she saw me. I have never been so angry. I yelled at the dude to get out of my house so I could speak to my wife. He grabbed his clothes and left. Then we started arguing. I never yell at my wife. We always want to keep things civil for our son, but I was so hurt I was screaming. Then my wife decides to get defensive, saying it's not her fault that I'm barely around and camp so much. Even though I hardly go on trips anymore because she doesn't like it. She says, "That's what drove me to do this. Her neglect to this family. I was in tears at this point. I just don't understand how her cheating could be my fault. When I turned around to leave, my son was standing in the doorway and I felt terrible for yelling. I quickly consoled him, but my wife snapped at me again, telling me to get my hands off him. Now she won't speak to me and says, "I can't see my child until I apologize. Apologize for what?" She said. We could go on this trip. She planned to cheat and that kills me. It makes me wonder if she has ever done this before. I'm stuck staying with my parents right now. I don't know what to do. I want to see my son. I'm worried I really scared my child and of course I would apologize to him. Just not my wife, but maybe it is my fault. Updates, I'm back home now. Decided it was best to get here ASAP. Things are quiet, but I'm relieved to be back in the same spaces of my son. Thank you all for the advice and kind words. It means so much. I will keep you all updated if you'd like. Edit, thank you all again for the support I appreciate it. Sorry I can't reply to everyone. There's a lot of you and things are tough right now. But thank you all so much. Edit in case of any confusion. I am Canadian. Update, hello again everyone. Sorry for my absence. I've been busy. I posted a more in depth update on my account if anyone is curious. In short, divorces in the works as well as custody of my son. And before we get into that update, let's get into some of the top comments. One user says, do not apologize for catching her unclothed with another man in your home and having a natural human response. It might not have been perfect, but you were not the one cheating. She should be apologizing to you and your son, especially who now as a little one has to deal with adult problems. That is not to suggest that you two are putting him in the middle of things, but instead to point out that he knows that something is very wrong and that his mother is the cause of it. But as all kids do, he will find a way to blame himself. This is on her and she is attempting to make you feel bad as a way to distract from her actions. Her being upset that you go camping, even if you have cut back, is completely reasonable. Her having intimacy with someone else is 100% of the decision she made by herself and it is unlikely to have been the first time. In a general sense, people who cheat for the first time rarely do it at their own home because that's just too much risk. So go back to your house. She is the one who messed up. Why would you be punished for it? In another point, she can't keep your child from you. Yes, you were upset. So what, you can talk to your child in real time, instead of leaving large gaps of time for him to fill in with his own ideas. From his perspective, you went on a trip and had a great time. Came home got really upset and then left. That might not be what happened, but kid brains are interesting little machines. She messed up, not you. And another user says, "Of course she tried to blame it on you. Of course, but you know it's not your fault. It's natural to doubt yourself in this situation, but don't get goaded into guilt. Sharing your hobbies with your kids and giving them new experiences, those are things that reveal that you are a good father." And another user says, "I'm so sorry to hear this bro. The wife is in the wrong. If she thinks you were neglecting her by going on too many camping trips, she could have discussed nicely and both of you can solve that difference in hobby at preference. But not by cheating. That's just her being defensive and tries to put the blame on you, in my opinion." And finally, another user says, "Go see a lawyer ASAP. Tell them what you and your son witnessed and give the lawyer the other guy's name too. You shouldn't have left your home. You should have told your wife to leave. You did not cause her to fall on another man's genitalia. Don't let her pull that crap." And the OP responds and says, "Thank you. Leaving was a bad decision. I was just frantic going home ASAP." And then the OP comes back with another update that reads as follows. For the past week, I have been working with a lawyer to initiate the process of divorce and gaining full custody of my son, with the exception of "visitation" for now until more is resolved. Things were awkward and tense for the first few days of me going back home. So my wife, using wife to keep things simple and identities private, decided to leave to stay with the guy I found unclosed with her. I am disappointed at the example she is setting for our son, but this makes my decision to divorce even more concrete. I will continue to share as much as I can if that is what people would like. But of course, Court has its confidentiality that I must keep within boundaries of. I want to thank everyone for the continued support you all have shown me throughout this tough time in my life. I really do appreciate it. At it, I just want to note, please don't just blame women/use this situation to be misogynistic. One user says, "So she just dipped out on not only her marriage, but also her kid for a coworker? Sheesh." I hope everything goes your way, man. You didn't deserve that, and it's not your fault that she decided to jump into bed with someone else. If she felt neglected in your marriage, she could have sat you down and had a serious conversation about it. And another user says, "I'm glad to hear that you and your son are at home and in a familiar space and routine that is important." And another user says, "Sir, you need to know you're infinitely stronger than me. I would have put that man in the hospital if I caught them like that. Can't say I would have even tried to subdue the anger within when my attention was turned to the other participant. Whatever you do and wherever you go, I hope it goes your way." And the OP responds and says, "Trust me, I was angry enough, but I didn't want in the salt charge to make things worse. Thank you for the reply." And then the OP comes back with a third update, and it reads as follows. This is another and most likely final update about my ex. See my past posts for more information if you'd like. "I expected my last update to be on the final post regarding my marriage, but this felt like a necessary thing to share." Last week, I received several texts from my ex saying she was pregnant with an unknown man's child. Obviously, meaning she cheated with multiple other people before the one I found out about. She said she plans to keep the baby and start a family with her coworker, other posts have context. She also mentioned that she wouldn't be fighting me for custody of her son. I told her I'd be willing to split the custody or at least keep visitation rights for the sake of the kiddo, but she insisted she didn't care about that anymore. "I am honestly in awe. I'm shocked she has given up on everything about the family we had, but I am most hurt for my son." At the end of the day, she isn't worth wasting any more energy on. I have been spending every moment I can with my kid and will continue to do so. I'm starting to feel more like myself again, and I can't wait to get back into adventures and nature. I'd like to say a final thanks to everyone for the support and encouragement. I will always be grateful for that. To buy us out for now. Now let's get into some of the top comments. One user says, "People like this are such scumbags. I don't get those that walk away from their kids. Make sure you get this in writing so she can't waltz back in and pick up where she left off and confuse your son. You may also want to speak to a professional about how to approach this with your son." And another user says, "Wow. She deserves to never have her son speak to her. She might as well disown the poor child. What a selfish excuse for a human. She can't even give a proper reason for cheating. Thank you for updating. I truly hope the best for you and your son because at least you truly care for him." And we have never heard from the OP ever again. Am I the asshole for not trusting my roommate? I think she drugged my boyfriend. My 21 female friend who is 25 female and I live together. We also go to the same university. My boyfriend is 24 male and during my birthday, he was drugged. I know my 25 female is my roommate and I feel guilty for suspecting her but my gut is screaming at me about her being the culprit. So I wonder if you guys can give me an opinion. 25 female has expressed attraction toward my boyfriend. She knew him before I did. He is her brother's best friend. And like them first, I remember her talking about him endlessly before I even met him. Although I found him extremely attractive when I met him, I had no intention to pursue him because my roommate liked him. He chased me and I gave in when he told me he has never been interested in my roommate. I consulted friends before though and they told me to go for it. I asked my roommate too. At the time, she gave me the green light because she claimed he had too many bad traits anyway. Was a player, etc. She said these things. It doesn't mean he is. On my birthday, everyone was buying me shots in the beginning. I stopped accepting them after a while because I can only handle so much alcohol. Some time passed and another shot comes my way and my roommate insists that why not my boyfriend accepted in my honor instead. So he did. He is 190 centimeters tall slash big. It doesn't get drunk easily. I remember him saying he will not drink too much because he wanted to take care of our group. But after this shot, it seems within 20 minutes or so, his demeanor changed a lot. My roommate offered to take him back up to our hotel. The club was in the same building so I could continue to be with my guests. I wanted to come with my boyfriend but in the noise and the crowd and other people telling me to stay, I got pulled away. I changed my mind though. Even in my drunk state, it stayed on my mind that my boyfriend is not acting himself. And a few minutes later, I followed them up. She kind of jumped when I opened the door to the suite but she didn't get away from my boyfriend. He was sitting on the edge of the bed and the roommate was standing in between his legs, holding his face and talking to him, making him look up at her. He seemed extremely impaired. Most of his shirt was unbuttoned, shoulder was bare. I asked her why. She said he was burning up. This looked really suspicious. I said I think someone gave him a drug. This isn't a normal drunk person. We called the ambulance because he was starting to go unconscious. I have not outright said my roommate drugged him but she would have had access to drugs from her friends and the clinic she works at. I did tell her that what I saw at the hotel was extremely suspicious and weird. I said this calmly and without direct blame. But she has exploded and is telling all our friends that I am a bad person. Am I the asshole? Would you not find the situation at the hotel strange? I didn't say you drugged my boyfriend. I said I found it really strange. the way you were with him in the hotel, especially the way you had undressed some of his clothes. I feel so confused. I'm not the type to accuse people, and I'm not a person who enjoys being confrontational or stirring up drama, but I can't help but feel something is wrong here. My boyfriend does not really remember anything after taking the shot, and it was confirmed the drink had a drug in it. One user says, not the asshole. I would suspect your roommate based on the situation and how you found her, him, but him not being there due to being drugged. Hopefully the hospital ran a talk screen to see if he was given anything. Sounds like she had plans to prove he was a player and wreck your relationship regardless of the consequences. And the OP responds and says, sorry, I was trying to be concise. I missed some important details. He was confirmed to be drugged. And this drug is something she could have access to, or her friends. It is used here a lot for things like this. My boyfriend's friends even tried to backtrack by asking the club owners to review CCTV footage, but nothing really came of it. Police report was made though. I doubt we will get justice or something like that, but usually it is someone close to the victim. I can't imagine a stranger did this. I could be wrong though, which is why I feel so torn. And another user says, move. Go no contact with the so-called friend. Keep your boyfriend far away until you have moved. Don't let him come over because next time she will drug both of you and assay him. Warn him of your suspicions. Warn him not to interact or contact her and to never ever meet her anywhere even in public. Try to move as soon as possible. She might just try to get rid of the competition completely. Never eat or drink anything she has touched. Try to bring in your own food and drink from the outside. Get a strong lock for your door and keep any medications locked up until you can move. Overkill? She drugged your boyfriend in front of your face in a public place and would have rewarded him. Nope, this lady is crazy and should be treated as such. And the OP response says, "So you guys really feel the same way as I do? I'm not overreacting, right? I tried to make this post very no-feel-in so it can be objective as possible. Sorry, English is my second language. I'm not sure I understand what NC means. I know what assay means. I'm having similar fears of her drugging me because she is mad at me. I do things to protect myself in our home right now. At the end of May, our spring semester will end so I can leave this place for a while. I will try to stay with someone else. I just know it'll anger her more if I do a move like that." And another user says, "Dang, so your boyfriend was near undoubtedly drugged with the intents of our word. Have you considered reporting this to her place of employment? Someone smarter than me might even find a way to do it anonymously." And the OP response says, "We have strong defamation laws here. To be honest, the defamation laws are stronger than many other laws even though it shouldn't be like that. So I can put myself at risk to try to do so without proof. I'm scared to do too much." And someone asks if the OP's boyfriend is okay now. And the OP response says, "He is okay now. I put it in a different comment, but yes, emergency services took him to the hospital. They confirmed drug in a system, GHB. I don't know if her workplace will be having this drug, but her colleague friends would have it. I know from her stories she has told me in the past. My boyfriend's friends went to the club and asked around and a police report was made. CCTV footage was reviewed also, but some cameras were not working and the police haven't found anything yet. I don't think they'll find anything personally. Sometimes clubs here make their CCTV out of service on purpose, and they don't try to help victims too much because they also don't want that exposure. This is what some people have told me, but I'm really glad my boyfriend is healthy and safe." And then the OP comes back four months later with an update and it reads as follows, "Hi, I don't know if anyone remembers my last story. Since then, this is what happened. I'm sorry if it's not a satisfying outcome. I moved out of the apartment I was sharing with my roommate. This is the best thing that I could have done. She convinced our entire friend group to turn against me. She also spread a rumor that my boyfriend went on to her at my birthday party and that I am taking a side instead of the victims side. This never happened. It is absolutely not true. We never got CCTV proof of her drugging my boyfriend. We made a police report in the case exists, but we received no updates in months. Because lack of evidence, it's likely going to get dropped. She has friends that work at the bar we went to, so the spiking of the drink may have been done at the bar before the drink came to us. We only have CCTV of when the drink, when it got to us, and some other footage that is totally useless. A friend of mine who works with her said she is part of a shady group chat. And based on the rumors, the friend has heard of the workplace. It all points to her being the type of person who would do something like this. Sadly, I have no evidence. And no friends, lol. But those people I called friends weren't true friends in the end. The world is unfair, and some people get away with everything while bullying others. It's not much of an ending. Maybe this was also not worth sharing, but I just wanted to vent a little. Thank you for letting me do that. Be careful with your drinks. It's usually people close to you that do this. One user says, "As someone who has lost a large group of friends in a similar moral situation, it does suck. But you'll get through it and you're absolutely right about it being for the best. You'll make new friends, true friends, and those who wrong do will get it returned back some way or another one day. That kind of behavior only continues for so long before there are consequences. Most of those from my former group have amounted to not much, and one actually regrets following the crowd and losing contact with me. But I have no interest in speaking to him still. And we have never heard from the OP ever again. My 14 year old son got arrested yesterday, and I am happy. Yesterday, my son was arrested by the police because he made death threats to two girls from his school. I've been fighting for years to get my son a psychiatric evaluation. But no one believes me. For context, in the past, I was a victim of domestic violence. The father of my children awarded me, hit me, tried to strangle me, insulted me, and made death threats. He did all of this on impulse. He was never imprisoned because it was my word against his. I have full custody of my children, and he has them on weekends. He lives with his parents, so there is some safety for my children. Co-parenting with my ex has been a battle for over 10 years. He does everything he can to make me look like a bad mother. I'm the one who meets my children's needs, while he just buys their love. My son is like his father. He has extreme impulses. He has punched holes in the walls, been violent at school, and done many other things. I have sought help multiple times, but I kept hitting a wall. Our healthcare system takes too long, it doesn't take enough action. Most doctors didn't believe me when I told them about the situation. They pretended to send the necessary documents, but nothing happened. We are being followed by a social worker from a program that helps young people, but even she didn't see the severity of the situation. Every week, I am forced to attend family meetings with my ex, who boasts that he has zero problems with our son, and that the only issue is at my house. When I spoke to the investigator, I told them I knew I would meet them one day because no one ever believed me. I feel so sorry for the victims my son has hurt. I know exactly how they feel because I have felt it in the past. Now everyone is scrambling to cover themselves. The father remains in denial, refusing to take any responsibility, but the truth always comes out. My son is with me. We are waiting for his court date. We have restrictions. He will change school. Tomorrow, we have a doctor's appointments to have medication and a reference in psychiatry little update I saw another doctor today didn't want to help. He just said go to the ER I'm sure we will wait for at least 16 hours and now let's get into some of the top comments one user says Like father like son. I hope the court sees how toxic your ex is for the kids considering your son is starting to follow in his father's footsteps The court needs to cut off contacts completely or at the very least make it supervised so that conversations between your father and Son gets monitored Behind closed doors. It'll be your word against his unless your son repeats and confirms it any Psychiatric help your son will eventually get won't be as effective if his dad is in his ear with poison and Another user says it's so frustrating. I have read about how many shooters in America have at least one or two that care Constantly crying out that this guy's gonna kill someone and they get ignored until the guy goes and murders a bunch of people Thank goodness your son is finally being looked at but I hope it doesn't come down to that and The op he responds and says he was arrested for threatening to hurt two girls He sent pictures of a gun. He found on the internet. My son is a threat and Another user asks the op if she can get her son into a mental hospital and cut the father out and the op he responds says all mental Hospitals are full and they only accept people with court order our streets are full of people who need help I can't legally get rid of the father out of his life because of the court order our system helps more criminals to escape the responsibility instead of helping the victim just to see a specialist it can take at least one year and Another user asks where is the op located and does her area have health care and the op says Quebec our health system is oversaturated People die in the ER without seeing a doctor because there's so many people the way to see a specialist can take months even more than a year You pay a lot of money or you go outside the country and then the op comes back five weeks later with an update that reads Several of you have asked me for an update. So here it is in the days following the arrest we consulted a clinic doctor to get a referral for psychiatry He refused and told us to go to the emergency room We didn't go because my son was not in crisis nor sick and even less so injured Our emergency rooms are overcrowded and we risk waiting 20 hours The first appointment we had after the incident with the social worker who has been following up with my son since August was very difficult My son's father said as he was leaving that he had done everything for our son to get help I shut him down by telling him that a calling child protective services for cleanliness issues false complaints and the police for violence against me. I have never hit my son Even though sometimes he deserves a kick in the butt only caused more problems for me and nothing else During the meeting the social worker tried to understand what was going through my son's mind in short It was a teenage argument that escalated the next day the social worker scheduled an appointment with me alone She referred to me three support groups She explained that even though my relationship with my ex is over He continues to exert another form of violence called post separation domestic violence Multiple stops and child support payments and false complaints I contacted one of these support groups and they can help my son at the same time My son has accepted that his behavior is not normal and that he needs help Last Monday was the big day my son appeared before the judge Essentially the lawyer received the case file that very morning, so the hearing was postponed to next month On Tuesday, we had a meeting with the new school. We had a brief discussion with them For now, I'm still waiting for everything and mentally I feel better My ex has started to realize that he is in trouble and the worst is yet to come for him And now let's get into some of the top comments One user says I'm glad you are heading in a better direction Keep up with all of your counseling sessions. They will be of help to you. They will help your son They will help both of you deal with each other Let your ex do whatever he is going to do. He is just now realizing the error of his ways What I suspect is that he is looking at his potential financial responsibilities So in regard to your ex, just handle your business. Good luck to you and your son and Another user says where are you OP when you've experienced DV your kids experience it with you They become violent because of it. He may need therapy Is there any way to get him to a trauma counselor or psychiatrist and the OP response and says I'm from Quebec, Canada We are waiting for it. I should have a call this week for it and a comment to replies and says as someone who has Mental health problems. I hope so. So much your son can get the healthy needs and feel inspired to keep it up I've been in the psychiatric ward more than once in life can be hard But when I got on my medication my whole life changed my mind was very quiet and away. I don't think I'd ever experienced before Maybe even you should inquire about some medication if it's possible because it truly is a life-changer I know it doesn't always work the same for everyone, but there's hope with this and beyond and the OP response and says I was thinking about the medication but without a diagnostic. He can't have it I know he needs it because sometimes he can't control his word during class and Then the OP comes back with a final update eight days later That reads "I don't think I'd be updating so soon, but something happened that I wasn't expecting When my son was arrested last February, I thought the police had checked his phone, but they didn't On Wednesday, my son told me he no longer had his phone and that school had confiscated it I was angry because I was sure he had done something wrong again Yesterday I went to the school and they informed me that it was a police order Because they had to check if my son had complied with his conditions I have to go back a little My son dated one of the girls who threatened him During the relationship she sent him a video of herself and forced my son to do the same I always told my children never to send this kind of video Saying all the consequences it can't have My son looked for a video on the internet and sent it to her saying it was him She blackmailed him with this video Saying that she was going to send it to everyone And that he should no longer hesitate if he stopped the relationship That's one my son got angry and made his threats A few hours before the arrest the two girls inappropriately Violated my son in certain places Let's go back to this week My son's old school was informed that the video of my son is circulating everywhere in several schools They had to inform the police because my son is a minor even if it's not him My son decided to file a complaint against the girls and according to the person I spoke to The charges it should be dismissed We still have to go in front of the judge in two weeks My son will still have help We're not stopping the process especially now that he is a victim And not a aggressor And now let's get into some of the top comments One user says I've been following your story I'm so happy your son is still getting help that's not thing to say And of course I wish he'd spoken to you about being pressured before sending the video But I'm glad he was smart enough to not send a video of himself This does change a lot of things Regardless I'm so glad he's getting support and I hope you both can continue to heal And the OP response and says the person in the video from the internet uses an adult sending explicit photos between two minors is legal sending the explicit picture of someone else to a third person is a legal Worst if it is a minor And someone says was the girl arrested as well And the OP response and says both girls got arrested And we have never heard from the OP ever again And All right guys that wraps up some dark true red threads and I appreciate you guys watching to the end of the video If you did please leave a like on the video and subscribe to the channel It really does help so so much and I mean you watched two hours worth of content And so I think you like it enough and so please consider liking that and also comment down below and let me know Would you like to see more videos like this in the future or was this too dark and heavy Would you like to see different sort of content or was this sort of content good I read every single comment and so please comment down below and let me know your thoughts all of your guys comments are so valuable and yeah I read all of them.
