Happy election day, who are you choosing? Because I choose you, Follet. Today, tomorrow, every lifetime. - Well, I think you code yours, that's beautiful. Who are you voting for? - I'm probably voting for, if I'm being, let's be really honest, okay? I'm probably voting for Selena Meyer. I think she's running on like a really strong platform. - Strong platform. I'd love to see a women, a women. - I'll see myself. - Honestly. - I love to see a women in business and in politics. And she's such a strong record of just being that bitch. So Meyer 27. - I love that. You know what I was thinking about this morning? I was thinking about what I was going to wear. And I feel like for a few years there, like election day was so crazy. I remember if I had my nails painted a certain color. - Oh my God, people thought it was like a virtue dog whistle, they say. - Like red or blue. I remember, and your sweater is reminding me, I remember Kim Kardashian. - Oh, this is a moon. - Kim Kardashian posted a selfie on election day. Like go vote whatever. And she was wearing like a more literally that colored shirt. So people thought it was a bleminal or a public in dog whistle. She had to delete it and repost it in black and white. And I feel good because I think that we're past that a little bit. - You and I or society. - I feel like society or maybe you and I have like stopped listening to that sort of stuff. - No, I think here I am. - We used to have like a type of audience that was like really woke. - Because your cup is red. - Yeah. - Your shirt is reddish. - I bleed blue. - You do? - What does that mean? - Hey, you're a big Democrat. - I'm cracking up. Even though they are very agnostic today. And then people aren't reading into it too much. - Yeah. Like who could forget when we made chili with Goya beans? - Who could forget? - And you know, at the time, I think a lot of people thought that that was like a very intentional political strategic move on our part when actually they are just the best beans. So times were crazy. I think some corners of the internet still operate like in that sort of like woke mindset. I think as a society, generally we have moved on to a more normal place. - Yeah, and as a society, I think. - We don't engage in behaviors like that. We're all here to have fun. - So get out the vote. - So important. - I have a loose plan. It's very loose. It's so funny, I've been meaning to actually ask you about that mother to mother. We've recently entered our raisin era, such a great snack. And of course, we don't really do grapes because we have a dog and grapes are toxic to dogs. And it literally didn't even occur to me that there were raisins all over the floor. Romeo actually sniffed it and walked away. Romeo is not a big eater. - He's self-preservationist. - And then I was thinking, does it pose the same threat? - Yes, very much so. - So what'd you do with Bruno? - So we had to call up our secret diamond. - A-S-P-C-S. - A-S-P-C-S. - Poison control. They went through the stats. We weren't sure if it was two or three raisins. If it were two, he could have just passed them. - But three. - But three, we have to induce toxic to a toxic level. - So of course, I think it was three. We induced vomit. My king threw up as he always does. - Did you like sift through the vomit to find the raisins? - My other king, my husband did that. He's the craziest dog ever. - He's so crazy. - Actually, Romeo's actually been kind of annoying. What else is now? It's been done, first of all, flooding up the wazoo. I couldn't even watch chancing with the stars. I thought the political commercials were annoying. And then the second intro starts, the PC Barnum, they cut to the weather guy. Especially because like right when PT Barnum came on. - Oh, for me, it started right at the beginning. The Lion King missed that. - Oh, I missed that too. - I got PT. I did. - Oh, I didn't. - Interesting. - Then I went literally on Disney+ and rewinded. But I was like, "You know what? I can go to TJ Max with food. Like, it's fine." He needed a new clothes. I went to TJ Max. I'm walking for one second. Literally one second in the parking lot. It just like hasn't come to me yet, and it will come. Unfortunately, like now I'm probably gonna have to like shop in person, which I hate. - Yeah, well, the Chanel flat actually, I would love a pair. - Consider it done. - These are size 36 and a half, but you could go 37. Like these are like a pre second pregnancy. I think I've had these since before. Actually I've had these since before I was ever pregnant. Now they're stretched to my foot, but I think these days I'm at 37. - Consider it done. - Oh, you're associated. - Obviously, cleaning colors. - I was gonna say like more neutral, like-- - I actually, maybe like something in the blue family, I find to wear a lot of blue. - Consider it done, sister. - I love that. - The act surprised when you open it up. - I will, 'cause I don't know what they're gonna do. - Even though like sort of an issue I'm currently facing, just being here is that I went to the mall, like the place where I like to park at the mall is sacks. I cannot shop at sacks. You guys know I have a personal vendetta with sacks. - Do they know? - I've never shared. And you also should have another. - I know. - Do they, I don't think they know. - No, I never wanted to like make myself a victim, but as you guys know, like sacks is a former sponsor of our show, and they're also a company that file for bankruptcy. And yeah, do you put that information what you will? Now I will say, we did get a settlement from them. It was about one-fifth of what we were actually. Oh, they were a huge Q4 partner in the year like 2024. Then we found out like we weren't getting paid. And I was like, fuck this place. And then I remember I was in the mall shopping. I'm like, wait. How am I shopping at sacks? You owe me money. Like how are you even open right now? You owe me money. How are you even showing your face? You owe me money. - Yeah. - So I won't shop there. Even though technically they have settled their debts with us. We took like a settlement. - Yeah. - But like not cool to be purchasing ads on the number one podcast when you can't even pay your bills. - For sure. But I would take-- - Solo Brow. - I would take the rest of it in credit. I'll say. - Like obviously I'm open to the situation being ameliorated, but not a good look. 'Cause one thing about me, I'm a surround with people who owe me money. That's sort of like you could actually stab me, and I might even have a better chance of forgiving you than if you owe me multiple figures. So I'll have to find another store. - You could go to Chanel. - Direct. - I could go to Chanel direct. - Practitioner I can give you my essay. - DTC. I could give you my essay. - You're like one of those girls on TikTok. Who would I take their essay, their personality? - Oh yeah, there they are. - You're like, I hunted down my essay. And it's like I thought essay meant sexual assault. So I'm like, why are you hunting down your sexual assailant? I'm no but it also means a sales associate. You create a relationship with, and especially at our meds, they keep your purchase history, and eventually maybe we'll get you a bag. I find that content genuinely insufferable. Like if you're talking about your essay, not your sexual, if you're talking about your sales associate, and you're using the term essay, just know it's an immediate scroll for me. - Understood. We had a great essay in the Hamptons. Maybe you could reach out to her. - Of course I told the story. When I thought she recognized me for being famous, and she actually was like, oh no, I've helped you hear before. I was like, oh, okay. - Yeah, totally. I'm not as famous as I thought. - No, I think you are. Didn't something famous happen to you yesterday? - Golden globe. - Golden globe. - Did something famous happen to you yesterday? - I feel like something happened. - What happened? - I don't know. - Okay, wait, let's walk through the day. What did I do yesterday? Came here, was hilarious. Left, played in bed, no kidding. I went to DJ Max. - Maybe we weren't together yesterday. Maybe it was like on Halloween. Something famous happened to you, but I just feel like that always happens. - That's true, that's why we're having-- - No, it always does. - That's why we're having a hard time, and I've been pointing which moment it was 'cause it happens all the time. - Yeah. - Yes. - Yeah. - Well. - The life of the show girl. - Let's get into the stories. - Okay. - Why are you dancing with the store? - Oh, yay, yay, yay, yay. - Your favorite. So if we're gonna hibernate, we're doing it in our Rowback, specifically the Rowback Aspire set. We've talked to my Rowback, honestly for years, they're an OG partner, and we're gonna keep talking about it 'cause every time they drop something, it's sort of better than the next, and the Aspire set is sickening. It's a matching half zip and pants set, it's very soft, it has a little striped on the leg, that makes it look like a little bit more tailored, that you can definitely leave the house run errands, go shopping, go to the airport in this outfit, but also take a nap in this outfit, which I love. I'm being pregnant, obviously, my evenings are, just not what they used to be, I'm limited in a lot of my mobility, I'm also limited in what pants I can wear. I really do not mess with a waistband that's constrictive or toxic, and the waistband on the Aspire set is Parjie. Of course, the mocknacks, which we love, very princess Diana, I love a mocknack. Jack has been wearing her as quite a lot, actually, I hope you've been washing it. On the new colors, they're so good. You just, you know, I hope you've been washing it. - I have been. - Great. I heard your dryers like out, so I just hope you've been washing it. - Dryers fine. - So it's your official November advice, the Senate's gonna say that before you leave work, you might as well be comfortable, go to rowback, look around, start building your hibernation uniform, and maybe start a little list while you're at it. Use code toast on rowback.com for a generous 20% of your first order through the end of this week. Rowback is RHO, B-A-C-K, and our code is toast for a generous 20% of your first order through the end of this week. Today's episode is also brought to you by built rewards. Here's a question. [email protected]/tos. That's j-o-i-n-b-i-l-t.com/t-o-a-s-t. Use that link so they know that we sent you. Thank you to you, RT. Our first story, Dancing With the Stars. So we pull up my group chat, just to get my notes. I'm very active in our group chat now, even more so. I had to mute our group chat because I watched literally two hours after you guys. But I don't remember my thoughts. My first thought, Mora looks like Paige Disorbo tonight. Did anybody else think that? Well, yes. With the sidebings. With the sidebings. It's a very Audrey Hepburn. I think they all look similar. Yeah, I just thought it. Yeah, I wrote it down. Thank you for sharing that. I wanted to get it out first. Because other people thought that, I had my own original thought. Disney Night at Dancing With the Stars. We had individual dances and team dances. And I did not know that that was happening. Me neither. Also, Cynthia Arevo. Oh, yeah. The Baldwin, who's actually-- I feel not really running out of goodwill anymore because I think she gained a lot of goodwill last night. And because the wicked thing is over. So people are going back to judging Cynthia as Cynthia. And realizing how talented she is. She's so talented. And I don't even know her extensive Broadway background, but whatever she was saying on the panel last night, she's obviously an expert. No, she's a female, yeah. And I was very impressed with her overall. And her ability to express her-- I feel like the other judges, some of them-- She didn't give critiques. I feel like a lot of the guest judges won't say anything bad. And she gave, I think, on the nose marks. And her and Bruno were having a time. Were they? Yeah, it was just sort of like giving girls key-king. Like, they were just like-- I'm cracking up. That's so Bruno. Yeah, totally. At a rough day. Yeah, right. So he was excited to go party last night. So who at first? Who went-- Oh, we have to talk about Julianne's bangs, just briefly. Sure. People couldn't get over her bangs. They were crazy, but she is committed to her craft. She is. And people need to stop analyzing every single thing that she wears and that she does. She is a chameleon, first of all. She can wear anything. She's gorgeous. She's thin. She's having fun with fashion. She's also an amazing host. I feel like people clown on her thing you have found out. But the way she keeps the show moving, and even the awkward moment, she actually-- Last night, where she asked a dumb question. She was like, what did I say? And I just think hosting is really hard. A lot of people start hosting who aren't trained hosts. And I think she does not get enough credit for being actually an amazing host. I think also the contestants really like her, and like she's in on the joke, which is a huge check in her column. And she gives us so much with all of her outfits and her loops. Because they're dancing. And her dancing, but even still, like every-- she really shows up and does the most for the job. So I feel like people are just so hard on her. Or just like nitpick things. And it's like, just enjoy the fashion, OK? Maybe you don't get it. But she's trying. She's succeeding. She looks amazing all the time. I wouldn't choose every outfit that she does, but she always looks nice, yes. She always looks nice. First, we had Amber Glan and Pasha Pashkov. They danced to go the distance. Oh no, the star is born. A star is born from Hercules. A star is born. We're actually in very much a Hercules era in her house, so this dance meant a lot to me. And I also-- I did really love the message. That she's just always been this very strong looking girl. And she always felt like that chipped away at her femininity, but now she leans into it. It was a fine dance. Honestly, it wasn't breath-taking or anything. I do feel-- I know, I feel like I see the same thing every week, but there were so many songs that I did not know. And I feel like dancing to Be Our Guest, and then dancing to a random song from Aida. It's literally not fair. It's not. I guess, but if you, the dancer yourself, know the song, and it means something to you, I don't think that they have a huge say in what they get to dance to. Yeah, but these songs are all good songs. It's like, maybe you've not heard it before, but once you hear it a couple times, it's pretty good. Yeah, but watching a performance for a song that you know, it makes you so-- you're going to like the dance no matter what. So I feel like with-- I didn't know this song. So with Amber, I was just judging. Probably a little harsher. I've heard it, no. You have? Yeah. It was a good dance. It was fine. It was good. It was good. I don't have anything negative to say, and sometimes I do. Yeah. We'll leave it at that. 34 out of 40 for them. Then Mora and Mark danced to you can fly. You can fly you can fly from Peter Pan. She was Tinkerbell. They did the jive, which she shared was the worst part of her-- Tinkerbells. She's in Tinkerbell. It was actually cute. Last night, because I felt like we saw more of her personality because you were just saying we weren't seeing it. Now, the dancers kind of low scores, they were at the bottom, 32 out of 40. It's not her style. Like, it's not where she's very elegant. She's long. So like, those these waltzes that other people find really challenging, she probably excels at more than the average person, but these are quick little tiny movements. She's kind of lanky and tall, and it didn't look right. And I think the judges' critiques reflect that. I think the scores reflected that. I think she-- it was better than she thought, because she seemed surprised by the aids. I think she was actually happy. All four eights is not a bad score. And a couple weeks ago was a great score. But everyone is just scoring higher now, so they're just not hacking it. I also thought Carrie Ann's commentary was very interesting, because we saw in the package, like Mora seems to be running out of steam, stamina, energy. And you really need to take care of yourself in the competition, because it's so grueling. The training is grueling. And you can feel that she is just wasting away. Yeah, I think Carrie Ann was referring to her weight, right? She's a very thin person. And obviously, thinness doesn't always mean you're the healthiest. And I think that when you're doing such cardio, you actually need to be eating a lot. Yeah. And you are losing weight on the show, and you need to keep your energy up. So yes, perhaps it is about the thinness, but it was also from what Mora was saying in the packages, you can just see she just slightly worn out. So even if she was a different size, if she's saying those things, she's not taking care of herself enough for the competition. I do feel like it was kind of inappropriate to say on TV in front of everyone, just sort of singling her out. And she was like, and I mean, this for all the contestants, like that's something you really pull her to the side and saying, I didn't think it was appropriate, honestly. I thought it was like a fair response to the package that we saw. No, because in the package, Mora was like really saying that she's just struggling with this dance in particular. And Karen just like kind of got so serious, and it was weird. Oh, it was awkward. It was inappropriate. Oh, I thought it was like an appropriate response and a very true statement for every-- Very true statement that she should have shared as a package, no matter what they look like, if anyone's package, was like, Mora's where she's just sort of out of steam. But that would be a good thing to say, is like, remember to take care of yourself. This competition is very difficult. For sure. Mora's just like very visibly thin. And like, I don't know, I probably just made her like something. What if she had said it to a fat person? You wouldn't like that? And we would say it was about weight, too. Yeah, of course I would. We can't say to anyone. Yeah, no, you can't say it. I'm saying like pulling them to the side. Because I do believe Karen was coming from a genuine place of concern. Of course. So I would have just pulled her to the side. If you really feel that way. But I think it's also something that everyone should hear. Even people at home, if you're training like an athlete, take care of yourself. Absolutely. Don't just run yourself down. Absolutely. That's not going to be the best thing. Absolutely. There's a time and a place to say these things. Oh, and then we need to talk about Derek's attempt at an Irish accent. Because obviously-- He didn't sound like a high ranking Nazi officer. OK, Christophe Waltz, an inglorious bastard. It's like, I could tell the second he started talking, he regretted it. Listen, I get it. Every time I do an accent, it becomes Russian. Every time Ben does an accent, it's Scottish. Would you make it? Yeah. I get it. Actions are hard. Of course, Irish, specifically. Now, Derek, not cool. So very triggering for me to hear that, honestly. Like, he put himself out there. He tried something. Let's make fun of the girl who took a risk creatively. Yeah, he really did. He really did. Also, every time Derek-- Sorry, I wrote in our group chat, Derek accidentally entering Nazi territory. He tried to do an Irish accent, Gerbil's energy. Derek, I'm not offended and I forgive you. I forgive you, too. Every time Derek is just speaking, I just have to do sort of an audit on Derek. I'm just thinking about Derek a lot. I'm like, "Exclusions, did you grab him?" And I just love him. There's one Derek. So irreplaceable. He really is. I agree. He's really great. And he does really care about the contestants. He gives great co-cheeks. I agree. Like, he very middle-grounds it, too. Like, he knows when people need to be like-- Coddled. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think he's really great. Yeah. Then we have Tatiana and Jan. They danced to Aida. They did a contemporary dance, which was very beautiful. And it was. And it just loved it. Carianne had chills as she let us know. And I think that it goes back to what we said last week. Like, contemporary as a dance style. I'm sure it's like a valid style. But when we think about it in the context of all the different ballroom styles, it's so much easier. And you just get graded better. Everyone who does a contemporary gets a high score. It was a great dance. But this was my note in the group chat. Then giving Tatiana this old random ass Broadway show to dance to a question mark, they hate her. They had to explain the show in the package. Like, where did Aida? Which is a really old show. Nobody knew the show.
So nobody knew the song. Hello, like come on, they never give her good songs. - I guess. I would like to know more about the selection process. - At the bare minimum, I had heard of all the other shows. Maybe not the exact song. - I heard about Eda. - I haven't. - I heard about Eda. She got a 33 out of 40, which was really good and better than more. So she was not bottom of the pack. - She was not bottom of the pack. She was not in the bottom period. She was chosen as a team captain, actually, because she has a lowest combined score. And I want to talk about her selects. I've actually saw a lot of people talking about this. I was really surprised by the very gym class picking of teams. - Yeah. - It remained positive, but that can be really hurtful. - Jen is a one. - Jen is a one. - The best dancer there, the two perfect scores in a row. - But they wound up being great for Jen, 'cause she was on the knees. - The better team. Touching on a girl, like you chose poorly. I know she was choosing, 'cause she's a real one. You know, she's just choosing people. She has to rehearse with them and hang out with them and the people that she likes. But like, the other team was stacked. - Like, yeah, she chose Mora first. If I was choosing first. - And I think she wanted to assemble the team of women. Jenna Dewan. - If I was choosing first, I'm going with the best. That's how these pickings go. And if I want to be with a woman, I would go Jenna Dewan. - Obviously. - So she hates Jenna Dewan. Then she went Amber, Amber would be the next, he's the right second woman's choice. And then it would-- - If I had to pick a woman. - Mora. Or he's really a styles. - Yeah. - So she let the other team just get stacked. - And the worst song and the worst outfits. - I know you hate Zootopia, but I like that song. - No, I like that song. - I'm sorry. We're all in this together. Like the little work. - When they did their Zootopia, it was so cute and they all wore the pants. And I thought it was like so camaraderie. - It was camp talent show. - And it was really giving like Globo Jim. I mean, no, average shows. - Average shows, like we're coming together. We're gonna be the best. It was like really scrapping great. And I'm like, honestly, the other team is so stacked. They're dancing to something so obvious. Like, I feel like there's gonna be no heart. And it's gonna be, they're actually not going to win because it's gonna be like Globo Jim. - No, they had an amazing time. - It was amazing. - The whole thing was so uneven. Their costumes were like seriously so much worse. Their song was so much worse. Their dance was so much worse. - No, I feel like as much as high school musical is so good and better you think on its face. It's also so obvious and a little corny that it's hard to make a girl without just doing like - No, I think. - And dancing with the stars world, like that cornyness is invaluable. - I actually thought for a second that the underdogs were going to win. - That's beautiful. - And then when they came out with what they came out with, it was perfection. - Yeah, it was really good. - Yeah, I really enjoyed that. I didn't know that was happening. And I enjoyed the team dances. - God forbid they make the episode just like shorter. No, it was watching team dances. Okay, that's fine. - Harry Shum and Jenna Johnson danced to Mary Poppins, Supercadular Fragileistic, XBL Adocious, 40 out of 40. - It was insane. It was Jordan Fisher. - It was Jordan Fisher. - It was gonna go down in the history books of Dancing with the Stars. It was the first dance of the night that I actually knew the song too. So I felt like he was automatically at an advantage. He was so Mike Chan from Glee. Like the knee walking, everything. - The graphics in the back coordinating with their moves. I thought that was brilliant. - They did get a little bit. I thought it at the time. And then I saw people on Twitter saying like, why the end of the dance was like a solo act for Jenna. She's doing like an eight turn pirouette. And like, where's your partner? - Yeah. - But I liked it, so. - And then they just like ended randomly with this huge lift that felt like a middle finger to carry on. - That's funny. - That's funny. - But they didn't have him in the lift. - Right. - Because it's not your partner lifting. - So I just started one giant middle finger on the dance floor. - I think a little bit, but you're 100%. - And I think the lifting her was like Sim, and was like two people was like Sim. - Yeah, and you like zoom out and connect the dots. It's one big finger. - And it was like turned to thousand percent. It was literally the best dance of the season. - Yeah, it was amazing. And Jenna choreographed it amazing. Obviously he danced amazing, but the whole thing, the whole package put together was just perfection. - Yeah, it really like endeared me to Harry Shum. - Yeah, they also got rid of the umbrella at the exact right time when I was watching them dance with an umbrella. - Yeah, it's also like that is also the corny and obvious Mary Poppins, but they had to do it. - It's corny night. - Yeah. - Disney is cornball night, a hundred percent. - And I love that. - Me too. - Then we had Ezra Fref ending Ella Caragash. They danced to the little mermaid under the sea. He was Prince Eric. They got 37 and 40. - I'm glad they did Samba because it reminded me like the dance that we were obsessed with of his was Samba. - No, it's a wise one. - He's done a Samba before. - No, the whole point was they thought he would never do a Samba on this show because he actually physically can't. And then Danielle said, "I think that you can." - No, I thought they did a Samba. - No. - When he's doing his hip thing so many times. Whatever, I fucking loved it. I also loved his hair slick back. I think he looks like a real sexy little fish. She choreographed him so well. Of course, the mechanics of doing these types of moves without a leg and the balance of everything is always very interesting. Then you really see it on the dance floor. Like you see the shifting of the hips, the shifting of the weight is magnificent. He's such a winner. - He's such a winner. But I will say this wasn't like one of my up there favorite dances. Like sometimes I'll watch him dance. - Of the night or of his, you mean? - Of his. - Oh, it was up there for me. It was really good. - Sometimes I'm blown away. And it was really good. But also not every dance is gonna blow you away. - True. - So I just see my boy to make it to the finals. - Yeah. - And then it's on. - Agreed. - Julia Styles and Ezra Sosa, they danced for me on mute to satisfy from Hamilton. - Which I think means a lot to a lot of people. - Liz Woods of course. - It means nothing to her. - I know that song to the groom, to the groom. - I didn't know it. - I know some Hamilton songs from take time. - To the bride, to the bride. - Alexander and I'm out of sleep. - I've got an early meaning out of town. Like I know some of them. - Of course, because Kelly Clarkson sings that one. - Did she? - She did a cover. It's beautiful. - There's like a trend on, of course, work, work. Can you like work, work Eliza and Peggy? Like I know them from TikTok. I didn't know that one. But I think that's like, you could tell when the franchise likes someone, like being in Hamilton and Tatiana's over here dancing to Aida. Like please. It was not even her worst dance. Like honestly, I don't even have anything to say good or bad. And like, spoiler alert. This being the one that got her sent home. I was like, oh, honestly I thought she had another week. - The conversation is stiffer. The only people who would have gotten home are her. - Tatiana. - Tatiana. Or Fibula. And I'm gonna put Mora down there too now. - I actually would even swap Fibula and Mora. I would say Fibula's out of the danger zone. - I would say so too. And now his scores are on par with Mora and his dancing for the last two weeks has been like on par. And I think he has more fans. - I also think Fibula's really enjoying himself. And I get the sense that Mora is not. Like even when they had the split screen of who's going home, like she didn't look like so, so happy when people were on the chopping block. And they hear their names. There's like this huge sense of relief that Mora's just like, okay, another week. - I think she knows to mind her face because she'll go viral for looking too happy like Whitney Leavitt did. - Oh, no, I got the sense from the package too. I think it's really hard. And I think it's like one of the times. - She really wants to be like an American TV star. - Yes, and this is what it takes. - She doesn't want to go home. She's been working for so long. She was on La Island in 2020. She's finally having her moment. - She does not want to go home. - Oh, I really get the sense that like she wouldn't be upset if she got eliminated. Like I think there would be like a huge, and she's made it really far. Like at this point, there's now seven contestants left. And there's only four that go to the final. There's really three more eliminations. That's actually making it really far. Like that's sufficient. And that keeps you in like the dancing with the stars universe. - But at one point, she was trying to win for the finale. - For the finale. - Yeah, but now maybe she just takes sixth place. - Jen and Duan and Val, they danced to be our guest. They got 40 out of 40. They brought in Steve Cazee of Twilight fame. - Were you okay? - I was okay, but I was very glad to see Steve Cazee and learn about his background. - His background. Of course, I didn't feel immediately. - I didn't know that he was on Broadway. I just thought like he did the Twilight soundtrack and called it the day. - Now I have a hot take. I thought her, like she danced amazing. And it wasn't 10 out of 10 performance, but it wasn't obsessed with the choreography. Like, be our guest is such a slam dunk. I'm sorry, there's not a better song ever made by Disney ever. It is Joy, everyone knows it. She's dressed as Belle. And I don't know, when it ended, I was like, oh, wait, that's it. Like, I wasn't really obsessed with the choreography. - But that's what I mean about when you get sort of like that obvious song that everybody loves. It's like, it's almost hard to crush it because the expectations are so high. Also, I saw something so weird this morning. You know, Dan and Michael are of hallmark fame, right? - I don't, you don't. Who? - Danica, you'll see. - I don't. - And I don't know Danica. - Danica, she's played like. - Of Aaron Rogers. - Royal princess. She's played someone who married into royalty. But I guess she did dancing with the start. You don't know this lady? You know her. Everybody knows Danica. - We don't actually. I don't know Danica. - Okay. She did dancing with the stars years ago. - Wow. - That was her partner. - Okay. - On Disney night, they did Beauty and the Beast, be our guest, a quick step. - You're kidding. - Does that not look exactly like Jenna? - It does. - That's insane that they did the same. - Isn't that weird? - It looks like Jenna. Same glam and everything. - That's weird. I just, yes, I hear you on the high-network songs being almost like a trap. But I think Jenna Johnson crushed it in a high, in Supercalifragile. Everyone knows it's not. - It's possible to crush, but I think it's harder than you think. And it's not just like that. - They did crush. They got a 40, but I don't know. I was like, it's not hall of fame. - It's not going in one of those-- - Because it's so obvious, it's be our guest. And they were doing some great dancing. Like, it's hard to make it your own. That's all I'm saying. - No, I just think the choreography was bad. Like, I don't think it's, yeah, I think it could be a trap, a hundred percent. But also like, just do it good. Like, just Jenna, like-- - She did it good. - Sorry.
choreograph it well, like, there was no big moment. Like, it was all just couldn't find and they did all the moves and they got a perfect score because technically everything was done right. They had, you know, you need to have as many quick steps and a quick step to consider it a quick step. It was just like, I wasn't dazzled. Like, I wasn't, you know, be our guest. It's like one of my, like, literal favorite songs in the whole world. So I was just like, I couldn't end it. I actually, I couldn't believe it ended. - I love it too much, that's why. - No, no, it's not. It was just not like, it wasn't wow. It was a well-executed dance. - I agree. - It was like, it didn't like, it wasn't moving. - Yeah. - I was actually moved by Harry Shum Jr. - Yeah. - And I don't even feel for him. - You don't get it. - I kind of do now. I'm like, yeah, that's my chance. Like, they've made no references to Glee, by the way. Like, they're doing him no favors. Crazy anatomy, this crazy. We don't give a fuck, okay? Bring back my chance. - Then we had Connerwood and Riley Arnold doing a very romantic dance to "I See the Light" from Tangled. They got a 32 out of 40, so tying with Mora, all eights. Giving him Tangled, like they knew what they were doing. I don't know if you know, Gen Z is obsessed with Tangled, and the live action has just been cast. People have been like obsessed fanfiction casting. Like, for years, who's gonna be, what's the same? The guy, and who's gonna be. And so then they gave it to Milo Manheim, people who are obsessed with him. He's also connected to Dancing with the Stars. So like, they knew what they were doing, giving him, because maybe like, is the Gen Z. His TikToks are so viral. Like, he's doing everything right both on the dance floor and off the dance floor. And, not to keep bringing it back to Tatiana doing "I Eat Up," but like, do you know what I mean? Like, it was, it was a perfection. - Like Tangled, and I didn't know this song. I actually didn't. - I don't know the song either. - So I thought it was like beautiful, and I loved Riley's hair, and I loved it dancing, and they're obviously very much in love. But the song and the dance actually didn't do that much for me. It was the two of them. - Yeah, I don't know the song. - I would say it was on par with "I Eat Up," because I thought that was a beautiful song and they danced beautifully, and that's how I felt about that. - Yeah, Tatiana made the most of what she was given. But I think people, and not me, but the corner that really "Fabular" represents, which is this youth movement, Riley too. She's literally 21, TikTok. They are obsessed with Tangled. So it was definitely a layup, and he crushed it. - Yeah. - I loved her outfit. - Yes, me as well. - Obviously, they're in love. - And then you saw Milo Mannheim brought a cavalier on the screen in the FaceTime. - You know what I was seeing? He was on the screen for two seconds, and I was like, is that a beagle or a cavalier? I could not tell. And then the dog just said, "In that moment, you can't see, but I choose to see." - I also thought. - A cavalier. - I also thought, just mind you. Like, you're definitely, yeah. - So that was like cute for cavalier representation. - That was a person. - Then we had the team dances. As we said, the two in the bottom, Tatiana and Connor got to pick their teams. We had team, this is gonna be hard for me to say. - And it just sounded out, breath through it. - Team Slay Topia. (laughing) - Team Slay Topia because they danced to Zootopia and they were slaying. - And that's what I mean when I say the teams were just uneven. Even in their names, they obviously just went for really chuggy girl power. They looked like the Cheetah girls in those outfits. It was awful. It was corny. It was not high brow at all. Even the costumes, the HSM concerts were sick. Like the dancing with the stars of our city jackets. It was just, honestly, it looked like they went to party city on Tatiana's team. But they all wore the pants. Which like, the pants are gray because everything looks good, but then we know like it's a handicap a little bit. - Yeah, and I just wanna say, I love Alfonso. But like getting Julianne and Alfonso are not the same. Alfonso is not a pro. He's just a really, really good common dancer. Like, so I love Alfonso. I think he brings like actually a lot of personality and maybe Julianne doesn't. - Yeah, but I do feel like. - It's not the same. - They should have gotten to like eliminated pros, you know? Or like. - Perhaps, no, but the thing is Alfonso won team dance last year. Like it is possible. And I think with Alfonso, it's almost like that, you know. - Brotherly. - No, and it's like fun and you can have make it funny. And like really working with Julianne, it's like obviously going to be so good. So the bar is almost higher. I'm just saying, not that you're wrong, but it doesn't, it's not always so obvious. Like, oh, if you got Alfonso. - It was pretty obvious last night. Better song, better team. - And they wore better dancers. - As Alfonso said, Alfonso was being funny last night. I don't know, like, he just said. He loosened his tie a little bit. - No, he like, he saw everyone else having fun. And he was like, you know what? - Me too. - 'Cause he told the judges they're not judging Julianne and Alfonso. - Of course. And he repeated the tinker hell joke which he obviously thought was funny. I thought she might get in trouble for saying how. Like, I don't know what the rules are. - Maybe, this is a family friendly. - It is, it is. I think it's okay. - I think it's okay too. Yeah, I definitely felt him also like, maybe because he was new, he was gonna dance and he was like excited. And he was just like, was one of the contestants. He definitely had like more relaxed energy. Then the Wildcats went, that was Connor Ezra Harry. - Jenna Duan. - Jenna Duan. - Like, what are we talking about? It's so sad. From the beginning of the journey for the team dances, like, but every time, choosing teams, choosing a song, choosing a team name, choosing an outfit, they just chose wrong. - I know, but I just feel like, maybe you don't like Tatiana's choices, but those are her choices. - And perhaps like, she has to live with this. - Even like Aida or the songs that she has chosen. - I don't think she chose Aida. - I really don't. - We need clarity. - Yes, I actually would love to know the process because Jackson also cubes making these TikToks that like, he was gonna be dancing to the greatest show. And I guess that like, he fancies himself like a PT Barnum of his generation. - No, he's very inspired by greatest showmen. He said, that's what set him on a course of dancing. That movie specifically, I feel similarly about him. - So he made like, all these TikToks that he was gonna dance and then he found out they were including PT Barnum in the, like in show and he was like, when you find out, like, he's honestly like, really centering himself. It's being really annoying. So, I can see like him having wanted to dance to that, but also then wanting him to have dance to that. Like a perfect man. - Well, maybe Jackson can answer this question. Did the talent get to choose the show? They got to dance too. Did Tatiana have any say? - Yeah, but I would really want to. - And in the last few weeks, I know you didn't like her dance for Super Bowl, her song for Super Bowl Night. - Yeah, I didn't. - Did she choose that? I think you might just not like Tatiana's choices. - And it's a team dance is an indicator. - Yeah, the team she picked. She got to pick, oh, she got first picked. - I would love to know who picked the outfits. - She got first pick. - I'm just saying. - Like Jenna Dewan being chosen last, like my heart, legit broke. - Did she say she was gonna add to that? - Yeah, well because she's obviously the best answer. - And so now that we are where we are, who do you think is final four and who do you think is gonna win? As your prediction, as of today, can keep changing. - Ezra, Harry. - I think they have to include Jenna. And also, I think Mora really doesn't qualify for the top four anywhere. So like making it even more obvious that would be Jenna and Amber, which is kind of boring. - It is boring. - Just like the four people who we knew were better dancers than everyone. - The whole time. - Except for Ezra. And that's why Ezra winning is like the only way that we write the wrongs of this season. Because sorry, Harry Shum Jr., you can't win. - No, Harry can't win. Jenna couldn't win a little bit. And I think she doesn't have a lot of fans. People talk like her. - Because she's a woman, you know? I just feel like, I don't know. I just feel like Harry can't win, right? - I'm fine with that. - But I just feel like for Jenna, she actually has overcome a little bit more. Yes, she danced in her 20s and step up. But she's had children. She's a woman of a certain age. - No, no. When you're on to, you think you can dance. I know she hosted it, but you're in the dance world. - No, no, no. She's in the dance world for sure. But it's not for men, they just get to be physically fit their whole life. They never have their bodies. - No challenges. - I don't know how many kids she has, but she's gone up and down and she, I feel like I'm more impressed by her ability to dance so well at the stage. - She hasn't really changed a lot of hearts and minds besides yours. I don't think she has a ton of votes every week. I think it's really her judges scores that carry her through from week to week. So I think that will stop her from getting the mirror ball. I think, as her sort of being, it's unknown to a lot of people, overcoming these enormous challenges. He's obviously the winner. He just needs to keep doing what he's doing. - Yeah, I like that. And then I think for Amber, if she does have to go and train, that we could swap her out for Fibola. I think that would be exciting for people. - I also think it would be a real underdog story. Like I think of all the people that we're discussing. Fibola's the only person with Z, actually, no, sorry. Ezra, with zero dance experience, and to see somebody who actually kind of lay in the game, finally figure it out, it's very inspiring. - Yeah. - And people love him, and he represents a huge audience of young Gen Z. - So I think putting him in Final Four might be interesting, especially if Amber can't attend. - That would be crazy if Fibola made the Final Four. - Yeah. - Especially 'cause like first-- - He was on the chopping block for the first 10 weeks. - No, and it's like first week it was like Conner and Conner, which one will go home? - No, it was like Conner and Sarah Jane. Like, (laughs) - Are you ready for our next story? - I am. - The CFDA Awards were last night, and Fashions Night Out. - It was a big night for like the It Girls. I feel like, I feel like it really cemented like who's an It Girl right now, you know? 'Cause it wasn't like this free for all, where everyone was invited. Also, headline for me, like "Altral Being Styled" by Luxury Law. - Yeah, I saw that as well. Also headline for me, it felt like a nice change of pace after Halloween where everyone got down to their skivies. - And like dress like horse. I literally texted you. I said, "Why is everyone dressed so modest?" I loved it. - Oh yeah, and then I was like, you didn't tell me they were horse on Halloween. But yeah, no, there was like, and a Halloween is that sort of energy. - Yeah. - And then it just felt like-- - Totally opposite. - Totally opposite, but which was like a nice change of piece like see everyone with their clothes on like looking lovely. - Literally except a lingerie. She was the only person I saw. - Except for a lingerie. - Who didn't wear pants? - I didn't get the memo. - I thought it was modest. - We're putting our pants on. We're wearing hems to the ground. - It's cute. - And we're covering our boobs. Even Brooks Nader put clothes on. - Yes. - Yeah, and that's hard. - And that's hard as well. - That's hard for Brooksy. (laughs) - I don't really know what the event is or what goes on inside it. To be honest, I don't really care. - So I think it's really like, you know, the Oscar's a fashion, like awards for fashion. That makes sense. So we had American women's wear designer of the year went to Rachel Scott for a
DM Tima. That's crazy. I've never heard of either of those things. But the other people, everyone else you've heard of, Catherine Holstein, for Kate, Michael Corris, Torrey Birch, and Muslim nominees. Yeah, Westwater for Carolina Herrera, but Rachel one for. Let's celebrate the American fashion. Deatima, American menswear designer of the year, went to Ralph Lauren. Classic style. It was definitely Ralph's year. It's honestly been Ralph's year for like the last five years. I know, but like this year, everything is like Ralph Lauren core, like everyone wants. They're inspired by like the aesthetic he totally created. Yes. American accessory designer of the year, went to Anna Corey for, I guess that's her, the name of her accessories brand. Google American emerging designer of the year went to Colleen Allen. Okay. The international designer of the year was Anthony Vatturello for Saint Laurent. Hi, I've heard of it. Unless I'm interested in the awards, like more so fashion icon of the year, Peter Marino. I love his work. Positive change award. Ghost, did you ask me? Close, but Torrey Birch. Oh, she's a queen. And you know what? The rise and fall of the Torrey Birch brand could actually be studied the way she's like, so back. Yeah, she's back. 100% back, she's like really non like influencer culture, TikTok. And her shit's really cute. And after those flats, I thought we were never coming back. Well, those flats, it's hard to, you know, second in the flats. Like those flats are like a lightning strike. Yeah. Lightning strike twice. It's true. And then like the tumultuous divorce. Yeah. See wonder. Who could forget? The Spite Store, the original, do you think that Larry David's curb episode about Spite Stores? It's Larry about C wonder. There's a lot of things it's about. What else? Something like closer to home I was thinking, but you're opening a Spite Store? No, I wouldn't. But what are you referring to? Like I'll tell you off. I wouldn't, I know we would care. Yeah. Yeah. That's a spite. 1000%. Yeah. I hope to open up a Spite Store one day. Really? Yes. I could see it being something like I actually relate. I like that episode of Curb because I can relate to the fact to being like so offended pissed off by something so my new that like you literally will like going to debt open up a dumbass store and then that episode is so funny. Then we do it. She goes to the Julia stores like me look when it says Spite Store. Like funny stuff. Seriously, funny stuff. Then has a Spite Store in his future. That was a another award. That you know, I very high brow and let's talk about the notable attendees. Yes. Not only Alex Earl, but Ashton as well. Yes. Ashton also just signed with the modeling agency. So she has decided to model to Spite Thomas and my advice. 100%. How else was there? I'll tell you. It seemed like Alex and Ashton were like really only one of very few from the inner webs. Julia Fox was there. Okay. She's classic. I like her outfit. So we Kravitz of course. Of course. Gracie Abrams and Colleen Allen. The emerging designer. Oh, yeah. It was very much like the Met Gala where like these random groups of celebrities were all together. And it was because they were all dressed by the same designer. Like I'm sure you saw Zoe Kravitz, Haley Bieber and like the gold Luke. I forget who the designer was, but. Yes. Brooks Nader. Mm-hmm. Looking beautiful. So it's great. Uh, Jesse Murph. Oh, she's like a singer. I've seen her on the internet. Mm-hmm. I didn't know she was so fashion. I actually saw her perform live. Bella Tang. Belly. Belly. Belly is very high fashion. Yeah. She should be. Mm-hmm. Elphanning of course. I just love her. Are you following at all the Hunger Games like movie premiere? They've been like a world tour. They've done like new Hunger Games movies. Yes. What is it? Hunger Games movie. I don't know. Prequel. I think it's yeah, it's like a whole new slate. I don't know if literally anyone except maybe Elizabeth Banks. Actually, no, I think it's a prequel and Elphanning plays Effie a young Elizabeth Banks. That's beautiful. A McKenna Grace. Do you know her? She's from young Sheldon. It sounds familiar. It's like a really smart girl who Sheldon's always beefing with. I'm cracking up. She's like a former child actress. She looks so much like the actress who played Don Draper's daughter, Sally Draper. Um, she looks just like Kiernan when she was a kid, but now she's grown and she's like the new Jennifer Lawrence. There's like it's like a whole new cast of young talent. And the world tour has been like this huge thing. Everyone like is fighting for Luke's and Luke's Elphanning's been looking amazing. Did you see your dresses like a ballerina and like a jewelry box? No, all of this has missed me. Oh, it's actually been really fabulous to watch. It's not happening for the Reels Mamas. Oh, soon. Give us some time. Um, no, it's okay. I'll stick with my Reels, you know. Might I'll go. Then we have Sarah G. Nader. Got the invite. You're kidding. Let's say with the designer named Brett Hyman. Wow. That's a tough last name. Yeah. Hyman. There's a hate. Hopefully. There's an E in there. Uh, Liam Michelle. Oh, Andrea Rose. Sukey waterhouse. Sukey waterhouse. Okay. Fashioned out. Oh, Andrea. Yeah. The look isn't. It's a mess, honestly. It's just not on par with what everyone else is wearing. Maybe she just didn't know. It's just yeah. It's it's it's possible. Like this is new. It's obviously like a big exciting night for her. And like she didn't know. Um, but it would be like better elsewhere. Yeah. What a DM is. Yeah. What a town. Like I would always rather be like over, over formal for an event like this. I agree. In the general, I would say hate feeling underdressed. Slob. No, she's underdressed. No, no, no. I'm just having a separate conversation now. Yeah. Like if, but choosing between being overdressed or underdressed, I would always like to be overdressed. That's just my personality. Same except being overdressed is not all it's cracked out to me because I do feel like you feel like like you took this so seriously. That kind of like a dope. Yes, but it's feeling of being overdressed and experiencing that. I prefer that feeling over the feeling of being underdressed and exiled. Slob. Slob and lame. Yeah, I just feel like, oh, why I shouldn't even go to this restaurant. That was in person. We actually can't go because mommy's not dressed properly. You know, I literally cannot set foot in the door. Yeah. 100%. Are you ready for our next story? Next, Justin Timberlake will be releasing a four part tell-all docu-series featuring Janet Jackson on Apple. So Justin Timberlake is set to release a four part docu-series on Apple TV in December. Described as a tell-all, three sources confirmed to variety. One source says the series will feature Janet Jackson discussing the infamous Waldrow Mount Function that took place during their performance of the Super Bowl. Another source says that he discusses some former-girlfriend Britney Spears' recent comments as well. Further details on the series, which is directed by Fisher Stevens, we're not available at the time of this article's publication. Reps for Timberlake Jackson and Apple had no comment. Clap if you care. Now, how do we do this? Modern documentaries have not been kind to Justin Timberlake. His DUI also didn't help. There has been a very catastrophic ending to Justin Timberlake's career in the last couple of years. So I understand him wanting to tell his side of the story. And I'm sure if we heard his side of the story when it comes to Britney, there's two sides to every story. And yeah, I guess people do want to get down to the bottom of like, did he rip her shirt off? Or like, do you know what I mean? If I said it planned. But they're doing it together. It makes it seem like it really was an accident. And that's the story they're both telling. He doesn't want to be known as ripping off someone shirt. She doesn't want to be showing her dits on national television. It's their story and their singing to it. I just don't care. And I feel like I've actually like, I'm one of his biggest haters, but I'm kind of like overhating you. So not like, interesting enough for me to even hate. And honestly, when I saw the video of him, like, the world tour, like, it was funny. And like, whatever. Like, I'm just kind of over it. Just moved on. But I do feel like when you're a celebrity who's fallen out of favor and you're having like bad publicity, there's two things you can do. You can do a documentary series or you can do a roast or you can do a book. And I think in this situation, a roast is exactly what he needs because all of these things are so unserious, except for the DUI, which I do feel like people have moved on from. We've seen the video and all celebrities have to do that holding a New Orleans. There's the hand holding. But a little unserious, hand holding isn't so serious like, and his wife has forgiven him. So all of these things are things that can be poked up by comedians and just make him seem human. And I think that would be the better strategy for him, like an amazing call. I'm ready needed a docu series, not a roast. So she was, sometimes people just get their buttons confused. Like, should I press the button for documentary? Should I press the button for? Yeah. Just like in my documentary, I mean telling your own story. So it can be a documentary. It can be a memoir. Sit down. Sit down in her new podcast. Whatever. Totally. Are we going to make fun of it? Are we going to do serious? Are we going to do funny? And I think it depends on what your crimes are. Yes. And yes, I agree that Justin Timberlake's aside from the DUI. But like, that's unfortunately just like fodder for every celebrity. His crimes are relatively like unserious, except for the, you know, him almost killing someone. He's driving drunk. But yes, I think people would have loved that. It's a way to get in on the joke. And I feel that. Because he right now is just so unlikable. And I think a roast makes you more likable. They also think that roast culture has changed. Like, it used to be this thing on Comedy Central. Oh, they're disgusting. Yeah, they're like discussing. Now they're on streamer. So like, there's really nothing off limits. And it's like, your wife can't be doing the next seventh heaven. Yeah. You're having disgusting roasts. I wish that they were what they were when like, Justin Timberlake really affect, no, excuse me, Justin Bieber really effectively used it to rehabilitate his image. Same with Alec Baldwin, I think that was a really successful roast. Now they're just like, I don't know, they don't follow the same formula. It's like, it can be as long as you want it to be because it's on a streamer before it was like this 90 minute thing on Comedy Central. And it was like, great. Yes, he should do a roast. I just wish roasts were like not what they used to be. And they're really nasty now. Yeah, they could be though. They could be like parameters. No, I feel like there are parameters. And that was like, remember Tom Brady was like, they were told you can't say stuff about the wife. But everybody did. You don't give a fuck. No, but also in terms of of the what they air. No, just the kind of what the inappropriateness, you know, the disgusting jokes. Like if it were PG 13 or even, you know, not, I think with the roast, everything is on the table. And that's why if it's not for you, don't do a roast. And if you're a biggest thing that everyone's talking about is your divorce and how you chose football over your divorce, and then you say you can't talk about it, well, then you don't have a good candidate for us. So that's why I think for so many reasons, Tom Brady before the roast was likable, he didn't have a likability problem. It's true. And then it's like, well, who the fuck do you think you are? Like, people who like will willingly sit down for roasts when you are so well-liked? It's like, okay, well, maybe we shouldn't like you. Yeah, you're almost like baiting us into not liking it. So I think a doc you series talking about like how hard he worked to be a football player or would have understood. Maybe because I understand why you did decision. You never giving it up. Yeah. And he is the greatest of all time. He has six Super Bowl rings. Yeah. That doesn't just happen. Whatever he did in his life to achieve that is a story worth telling. I don't think making fun of yourself is the right move. A hundred percent agreed. I think it was net net really bad for him. And I could see a world in which if Justin Timberlake had done one properly, like it really very similar to Justin Bieber or Martha Stewart did one too. Like, it can really change people's opinions of you. Yeah. And you just seem like you're able to take a joke. And we could all just. No, but now we have to watch your four-part theory. So serious. I'm not watching this. No, of course. Don't ask me for a recap. Like, of course we're not watching it. And the. You guys know, I have to cancel my Apple TV because I. The Super Bowl thing. Like if I think about the Super Bowl thing enough, yeah, it's crazy. Crazy that that happened. I've moved on. I've moved on. I don't know that we'll ever get the truth. Is there a real truth? Like, was it planned? I don't think so because that would be so inappropriate. Kids watch a Super Bowl. Like, that would be disgusting. Agreed. So it was an accident. And then it's a tragedy. Let's stop talking about it. And also, people say, like, Justin, like, knew what he was doing, but like, you don't expect if you pull it, someone's. If you pull my shirt, my nibbles are not coming. Yeah. But why was he pulling? I don't know. Sure. Why did she just have like a nibble pocket? Why did she have a piece of fabric that she doesn't. I just wanted to watch the documentary to find out. I only wanted to. I think so when I actually did a documentary on Justin. Just that. And I think he thinks that, like, because so much of his badwill has been fostered from these documentaries, he's like, "Well, I'll have my own documentary." And it's like, "No." No. You misunderstood. I didn't have to do all that. No. Just give us seventh heaven the reboot. Okay. And we'll forgive you. Yeah. He could be in seventh heaven the reboot. Yeah. He could, like, lead the church choir. Yeah. Playing very similar character to his character in bad teacher. You know, I, like, don't know bad teacher. And that's why you. And yeah, we also forget, now that we're, like, taking a look at Justin Bieber, Justin Bieber, like, at a glance, like his acting career, friends with benefits, like, one of the best movies of all time. He actually is an amazing actor. He was in a social network, right? He played that asshole. He also should do a roast. And then he should go be a judge on the voice or something like that. The voice shows of that nature is an amazing place to, like, quietly heart-living and just, like, wait for some of the negative feedback from the public to wash over. It comes and goes. He could go on American. But it's a good place for a seasoned artist, like himself, to just park it and earn some goodwill. Amazing call. But nobody's asking me how should Justin Timber, like, rehabilitate his career. Therein lies the issue, my sister. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Ethan and Heela Klein are divorcing after he. She hired Laura Wasser. I was shook. And you guys don't know Laura Wasser? I don't know Laura Wasser. Of course. What's the equivalent? If you, like, hiring Laura, it's kind of, like, hiring Johnny Cochran. If you're on Trevor Murder. Was he the. I don't know. Murder? Or Robert Shapiro? He was the murder? She has divorced everyone, like, who's anyone? Honestly, how much money was their podcast making? Well, also, she is suing him for, to cover her legal fees. Yeah. I guess, yeah, like, I'm only getting divorced because you cheated on me. Why do I have to pay for this? I feel like that's not so crazy. She's asking for joint custody of their three kids and spousal support and she's asking for Ethan to pay her legal fees.
fees and for her made a name to be restored. Those all seem like really very reasonable for things. Honestly, the fact that she's not going for joint soul custody, like, she probably wouldn't get it because like nobody gets so custody these days, but like, that's very nice of her. Yeah, she claimed that he was having an affair for months and that after he initially downplayed what happened, he owned up to the cheating about her alleged discovery. She said, I'm living in a nightmare. I can't wake up from the blowback has been swift. The crew said they refused to work with him, mosticking up for Heila. He posted one final comment, I'm working with Heila to urgently remove my ownership and financial states in any podcasts, Teddy fresh, Teddy glow, or any joint venture that I would profit from. All your support will go directly to Heila and the crew. I do this in the hope that people can still support Heila and the crew without this concern of enriching me. I know the crew will make an awesome show. They are packed to the brim with the most talented creative hilarious and all our own great people. I don't know about that, but I have now been subjected to like, you know, of course, in hindsight, there are people I don't know how often they do a show, but it was him and his wife hosting the show. And the girl he ended up having in a fair with was like some intern who had a microphone and how many big phones did they have on the show? They have a couple. You know, the producer has one. It's like five of them. Yeah, right. There's like people all around and there's some streams with the Heila without. Okay. And this girl was sort of like nerdy looking girl joined a while ago and like slowly incorporated herself into the fabric of the show. And so now, you know, when hindsight, people are finding clips, nobody thought anything at the time. I guess the idea that he would cheat on his wife with this like literal random intern is like so preposterous. So now people are going back and I've seen a lot of the clips of just like, they talk about weird things. They're like like an appropriate thing. So like, it's all weird. Yeah. And it's like you could find a clip of him talking to a different microphone. And yes, in the context of an affair, that's weird. Yes. But no, there's a lot of them. So no, I'll have to start sending them to you. They're like these long clips. And I find myself watching them. I am really compelled by this show is good. Sort of no, no, by the dynamics of this like genuine freak show. Like everyone is weird. Like it's just and he is like at least just from what I've seen in the clips. She's almost like slowly being like written out of the show. Like she's ever on camera. Like she's there and no one listens to her. And it's just like him going back and forth with this like curly hair intern. It is so weird. This saga. Like I understand if you really invested in this family and why this is like insane. Like because I barely know the players. I'm like, oh, you're all fucking weird. Like it's very strange. And I guess I saw that he dressed up for Halloween like one year and he was kind of had and he was the one in the internment thing too. Okay, that's insane. Yeah. No, these people are just fucking weird. Like of course we can talk about the ethics of having an affair whenever. But based on these are just like nerds who got deeply uncool people who are famous. And that's always interesting to watch it really. I think that happens on the internet a lot. That's sort of the point of the internet. It happens all the celebrities too. Like because you think about it, they're just like theater kids who aren't like inherently cool. And then you like hear them in an interview and you're like, you guys are weird. Like a fantasy for you. She's weird. Like, well, yeah. She's weird. Yeah. So the Laura Wasser of this all really threw me. I guess I maybe didn't know how successful the podcast was. You do have to be like a woman of a certain stature to get a meeting with Laura Wasser. Well, I do feel like the podcast is successful. Yeah. And they tell us that Wasser. They're like in like an H3 world over there where it's like a multiple shows networks. Yeah. Yeah. And I can imagine if you're in it, like it's very profitable. And if you don't listen to it, you've never heard of it. You know, yeah. Everyone is really interested in what Trisha Paytas has to say. Do you know how they're all connected? Trisha. Oh, yeah, brother-in-law. Right. She's married to heal his brother. Yes. They don't speak. None of them. The breakup of the podcast was the breakup of their family. Like they do not speak. Trisha did then she's doing press right now. I think she wrote a book or something. So she went on J Shetty. So she didn't say on her podcast like, I said all of this stuff about Hila and Ethan before I knew. So like you're watching all these interviews thinking that it's like current. Prophecy. She doesn't know. But she does talk about like how awful they were to her. Like so she doesn't feel bad. She still hates them. Her husband was like, this is her sister. Did I think like a little piece on their podcast about it too. She does not fuck with them. And like she doesn't feel bad. Like she's not sending her's in, but she's like, she'd seriously hates these people. Crazy. It's a really tingled web they weave over there. Mm-hmm. Or what's her? Our fifth and final story. Some holidays to get into the spirit. Olivia Rodriguez will be releasing her first holiday song. Take me home, parentheses for Christmas. Okay. With the music video starring Cynthia Nixon and SNL's Ben Marshall. Ben Marshall. Yeah. Who's that? You love him. Jackie's part of the trio. He's a red headed one. He's part of the dry guys. Yeah. Burn after reading. Burn this project. What's we're gonna come? You're not disturbed. No. Burn. Do not open. It's a mix of everything we're saying. Hold on. Don't destroy this. Destroy. Must destroy this. Burn and destroy. It was a little comedy troupe. What are they called? Burn after reading. No, that's not it. Must destroy this. Right? I think that's what it is. What is it? He's like a comedy. Please don't destroy. I thought we said that. I didn't. Please don't destroy it. I didn't make her does. So I love the idea. Like to me, not enough celebrities can release music about the holidays. They're all so good. When you hear the first time, it's like whatever, but they all very slowly become like incorporated into Christmas culture. Of course, Christmas street farm, Ariana Grande, like everything she's ever done. Christmas cover. New. Kelly. Kelly. Is all I ever wanted. That's an original, right? Yes. I want to say, I think Kelly's number one for me of Christmas. I know like Mariah Carey, because all I want for Christmas is just like three great Christmas songs. Oh, yes. Mariah Carey. She's three. Yeah. She does. She's one. No, no. She also has a rendition of O Santa. That's amazing. A cover. Yes. I'm talking about originals. Oh, what else was also covers that are on me? Yeah, of course. But I use multiple all in all like my favorite Christmas artist is Kelly Clarkson period. You're absolutely right. And I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what she does this season. Now that she's outbound by the constraints of her daytime talk show. Yeah. I don't know what she does, but she has two amazing Christmas albums that like we have to have and to hold. And her, she, the one who wrote the one that she sings with Ariana Grande, who that's the best. It's just like two people being insane in every year, like around this time. It comes up like constantly in my algorithm. I will never not stop and watch the whole thing. It is a masterclass in artistry and vocalism in Queenie-ness. It's the best thing I've ever seen in my whole life. That was a Christmas special that Kelly taped or Ariana taped. Maybe Kelly. I feel like she's a Christmas special kind of girl. She hasn't severed ties with the network, you know, because when she was the NBC darling, she was also hosting the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony. She performed multiple times. I hope that her contract is still valid. Yeah. She's the Christmas queen. Yeah. And her albums call when Christmas comes around. That's the second one, which is also a sleigh. And to be honest, like everybody saying where I carry a queen of Christmas, like we don't really talk about how she's actually not. Kelly Clarkson is. Yeah. And she's so bashful about it, but I'll say it yeah. On her behalf. Yeah. I'm sure you saw like more I carry to this huge campaign with Gucci, like it's time. And it's just like she's a queen of Christmas. And it's like, yeah, girl, get your bag. And you do have like an amazing. And that song is the number one Christmas song. It's the record setting. Yeah. But for the pop girlies, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and nine and 10 are Kelly Clarkson. It's true. So who's the queen of Christmas? Sound off in the comments. Well, Olivia Rodriguez coming for the crown. She has a holiday song coming out soon. It will be called Take Me Home for Christmas. Cute. Like I really love. I can't have enough. I think that this space is honestly under saturated. And I want more. I agree. Tellers is so good. So good. I mean, she released it. I remember thinking like this is so random, but it is completely ingrained itself in the fabric of American Christmas. Like it's so cute. I think it's time like to start listening to Christmas music in the house. I think so too. Maybe I'll put like, you know, exert a little willpower for a few days. So when I do listen, like I'm so ready. And maybe like my birthday will be the, I think it's like a good, right? Because I do need to come down from Halloween. People saw their decorations. I'm like, you guys get it together. Yeah. I don't want to see your old skeletons on my birthday. No, I don't. Like you need to take down my birthday to take down your Halloween decoration. It's one whole week October 31st to November 6th. That's one. I think that's so fair, especially with Halloween being on a Saturday this year. Like it was a hungover Sunday. Yesterday, it rained all day. It's gloomy today. You have by E O W. Yeah, that's all. And I'm not such like a decoration Nazi when it comes to Christmas. Like honestly, leave them up. Leave them up forever until daylight savings. Honestly, as long as it's a winter thing. It's not a Christmas thing. It's a winter thing. As long as it's dark out early, I do need your Christmas lights. Now, if you're Halloween decor is more like a terminal and fall, I will allow it through Thanksgiving. Agreed. And I will be leaving out my pumpkin mat. Yes, if you have like cutesy leaves and pumpkins and just like a terminal, even like scarecrow. E scarecrow's a little Halloween. I'll allow it. But like spooky scary skeletons and shivers down your spine October 31st. Spiderwebs gone. Spiderwebs gone. Black cats. Things of that nature gone. Go schools goblins gone. Grave yards gone gone. Yeah, I'm over it. I'm over it. And I'm sat the fuck down for Christmas. I need to go. I feel like they're these like neighborhoods. Yeah, there was some like the local news that like go. I need to go. Yeah, I fucking like that movie with Danny DeVito. Did you see Danny DeVito? Like why didn't nobody tell me this was happening. Royal Albert Hall held like a symphony of the Matilda soundtrack. And Danny DeVito was sat in his costume the entire time reading the like narration of the film. And then at the end, like the cast comes out like
I don't really care about that, 'cause I honestly don't know these people, but I'm hearing the soundtrack. Is it Hans Zimmer? It's literally the most gorgeous thing. He's there dressed as the dad with his very sort of paternal, even though he's like the villain in the movie, beautiful voice. It's like, why didn't nobody tell me about that? I would literally want to flown to go see it. It looked amazing. - That should go on tour. - Take it on tour. They've done that for other things, like Game of Thrones. - Yeah, they do it for a lot of Hans Zimmer ones, right? - Yeah, it's pretty cool. It sounds like an actual gorgeous night at the symphony. I would love to attend. - Yeah, we should attend. - Take it on the road. - Yeah, there are some cool, I've seen some cool things. It's like a candles thing with like, have you seen this? It's like concerts of like movie sound checks or like on Valentine's Day, they'll do like love songs and it's like orchestral concerts and it's like a bunch of candles and stuff. - Pargy, I love a candle. Pargy. - Very cool, yeah. - Yeah, sure. - Okay, let's go. - Let's go. - We should go to a Christmas one. - Like, sure. Yeah, like, let's fucking go. I'm so sad for Christmas. Like, it's one of the greatest time of year. It is and it's year. So, even though it's like getting dark earlier, bummer, major bummer, it's not even the dark earlier that's really pissing me off. It's the bright earlier. Like, seriously, let me sleep. Let me live. And honestly, this is the first year I really experienced it. You know, me and my sleep schedule for the children. I'm like an actual Nazi. It's been hell. This change. - The change has been hell. - I actually saw. - I had a strict 730 to 730 child, 730 to 620. This morning we got 640 and I'm hoping we're just gonna keep extending back to 730. Like, any tips? I'm in hell. I need that extra 45 minutes in the morning. - I will say, I think daylight savings being the day after Halloween was a slay. - Because it encouraged all of us, like, oh, don't feel bad about keeping your kids out late because they should be going to sleep a little later anyway to keep the next day. - It didn't work. - But it didn't work. - No, but it's like, at least nobody felt bad about staying out late because it felt like we had a purpose. - Yeah, but the purpose didn't work. But yes. - But that may never be realized. - We're like, let's go. - We realized we're like, oh, well, they need to sleep an hour later. So we have an extra hour, and it was just like, it was great for morale, even if it didn't pan out. - I love this thing. - It's been like the beautiful part of the day. - No, because otherwise you would have been like, we need to go home now. And instead, like, you and Ben were actually relaxed about it. - Okay, the thing is, I'm a true bedtime sleep Nazi. Like, and I wear that as a badge of pride. Like, my whole day revolves around my nap, like 1,000%. But when it comes to like, special moments at night, I'm all about keeping food away. Like, seriously, we go to bed at midnight. Like, when we were planning on going to Disney, but we didn't, and I was like, no, I'm taking them to the fireworks. We'll get home at 10 p.m. That actually I'm really like, relaxed about. - That's good. - But yes, otherwise, like, life revolves around the sleep, sleep revolves around the life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. - I don't mind it being sunny earlier in the sun coming up, 'cause I am trying to wake up earlier. That's a goal of mine. I was gonna wait till like, make it my New Year's resolution. But I was like, what if I just start on Monday? So it's going well so far. - And I feel like, now that we're talking about resolutions, I just wanna say I don't have any. - I think it's a good resolution for me is to like, wake up early. I'm trying to like, do it in increments. - Waking up early, like, is a slide. - It's a life hack. - It is, I could get dinner in the crock pot. - Crusher literally wakes up at four or five. - I know, I saw that she was saying that that's how she was so successful. - She trained herself to do it when she was younger, and she says it is the hack to her success. - I know, and that's why I feel like my success sort of has a limit, because I'm not a morning person. It's very hard for me to wake up. - My success definitely has a limit, and I feel at this moment in time like, I'm okay with that, because I need my extra 45 minutes. - Yeah, plus I don't like doing photo shoots. Another limit. - Yeah. - Limited. - Did you see our email that we actually have another photo shoot coming out? - I'm limited. I saw that we have a photo shoot coming up. I don't know what it's for. - Okay, tell you about it later. - Yeah, tell me later. - And also, just one more thing I'm going to tell you this. I feel like, you're, like, because we were saying, we're obviously having a big celebrity sort of like quarter, with the Golden Globes, and like, we're so viral. - Oh, like, we're. - And I think you can actually, like, in our line of business, we have to be really comfortable knowing, like, we go through highs and lows, and we've been doing this, you don't, you know, get where we are for 10 years, without peaks and valleys. And I think it's always important to understand when you're in a valley, and understand when you're in a peak, and understand that the moment won't last forever. But sometimes it's hard to measure. You're like, am I in a flop error right now? And I think based on the number of photo shoots you've had, like, had recently, and have coming up, that's a good marker for, unfortunately, like, where you're at success-wise. Like, right now, we're obviously having a moment. And we will have had three photo shoots in Q4. But I think a lot of unsuccessful people have a lot of photo shoots. - Well, that's true, but not at the level we're having these photo shoots. - You're just saying, like, people just, like, have photo shoots, they sink if they, like, if you build it, they will come. - Yes, but for us, like, people who are anti-photoshoot, like, sometimes we can't get away with not having a photo shoot. So, I think if you ever want to know if you're in, like, a flop or a fly error. - Oh, so a fly error? - If you're in a flop error for the last three years. - Yeah, I have no clue. - Yeah, well, now you know, the more you know, 'cause our last photo shoot was literally three years ago for our new cover art. - Well, so. - Q4. - I think it's not true. - No, I'm telling you it's true. - Okay. - Like, it's really, like, in the business that we're in, it's kind of a marker of success. - That's so crazy. I actually hard disagree because I think of, like, I can think of people who are always having some sort of photo shoot. - Well, you are right about the fact that, like, photo shoot culture has gotten out of control, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about, like, real, like, things that we have to do. - Yeah, that we have to shoot. - Yeah, like, models have to model, you know? - No, I understand. - Well, that is our show.
