Dale and Tim share a lively, unscripted podcast episode centered around a series of humorous and heartfelt moments. The episode begins with Dale’s accidental retweet of a three-year-old NASCAR tweet from Track House, which unintentionally fuels a conspiracy theory due to its coincidence with current events. This leads to light-hearted discussion about online communities and misinterpretations. The core of the episode, however, is a memorable boat trip where Dale and Tim drink heavily—over 20 beers each—leading to exhaustion, a failed grill lighting attempt using a paper straw, and a chaotic yet joyful evening. The group also shares personal anecdotes: Dale’s love of grocery store exploration, the fun of eating cheesecakes in small portions, and a playful chase game that ends with minor injuries. They also reflect on deeper values, such as genuine friendship and authenticity, emphasizing that their podcast is driven by personal connection, not numbers. A subplot involves a failed attempt to get AI chatbots to communicate, resulting in comedic failure to cuss or interact. The episode concludes with lighter reflections on lifestyle habits, including wearing vacation shirts and the appeal of unique travel experiences like train rides or ice hotels, while acknowledging the potential pitfalls of over-idealizing experiences. The tone remains upbeat, humorous, and deeply personal, celebrating spontaneity and the joy of shared, messy adventures.
- The following is a production of "Dirty Mo Medias." - Oh, yeah, this is what it's gonna be, girl. We're gonna hang out. Open a bunch of jars, you got big, strong hands. (all laughing) Are you suffering from high crack? (all laughing) - I'm working. - Working that mouth. (all laughing) (upbeat music) - Hey, guys, Dale and I are in the "Dirty Mo Medias" studio for another round of "Blessed Your Heart." We have fun show today, Dale. I've got lots to talk about. - I do? - Yeah, you had a hell of a week. - I did. - Did? - What do you mean, did you? - Are we still doing it? - I think, actually, I think Dale was still drunk last night. - No, I wasn't. - Dale. - Yesterday? - Did you see what he did yesterday? - I mean, he laid on his back on the couch for about five hours when he got back from that boat yesterday. - Dale has created a controversy/conspiracy theory on NASCAR Reddit. He went and retweeted a track house tweet from three years ago last night. (laughing) - Why? And how? - So, three years ago, track house signed, - Zane Smith. - Zane Smith, that's right. Signed Zane Smith is some sort of a futures contract in the way and I had forgotten about it, but I think internally, I've been waiting on track houses sort of response to Connor's Zillage signing with Hendrick, right? Like what's track house is playing? And so, I saw some fan, or not, I won't say fan, I'm of course this person's fan, we're all fans, but someone that was, someone retweeted it. There wasn't nothing, no context really to it. And I don't know why I looked at it, read it, and I thought, oh, well, that's a nice, that's a good response to Zillage. And it never really occurred to me that this was three years ago. I didn't look at the date on the original tweet, and I read it. - How did you stumble upon the original tweet? - It was thrown into the algorithm. - So here's the one thing I'll give you is, the date is, it was three years to the day, the year was just different. - Right. - And so, I saw it and I'm like, oh man, that's something, and I'm like, I had a tangous skepticism, right? I was like, I'm not real sure. I looked at everything but the date. I mean, I looked at the track house handle, is this a parody count, what's going on here? And I'm like, checks out, okay, hit, retweet. I didn't comment or anything 'cause I didn't want, I didn't really have a comment, but I'm thinking, hey, check this out, kind of. And, like an hour later, Alive just like, dude, did you mean to retweet this? I'm like, yeah, I did. And he's like, it's three years ago. I'm like, oh, yeah, well, now this makes sense. And everybody's like, man, why did he retweet this? Well, interestingly enough, the first comment on the tweet three years ago was Carson Hosevar saying, that's awesome, Zane. Way to go. And they're like, (beep) bitter enemies right now for some reason. - So you're just massively stirring the pot on accident. - Everybody thinks that I had this sort of, like light bulb moment, like, man, let me retweet this. - I'm gonna throw this out here and see all this goes. - Yeah, but it was actually, I guess you could say yes, I was hungover, was I clear-minded? Yes, but I also wasn't sure what I was looking at, so I didn't want to like make a comment, but I did retweet it, thinking that maybe it was legit. - I thought you and Doug are going for round two, and that was just-- - No. - Doug had got on a plane and hit it out. - Doug had got out of town, man, after our hangout on the boat, which was, so Tim Douger-- - Was it romantic? - Sorry. - Was it romantic? - What do you think? - I mean, you went out of your way to get all these groceries and things to make him dinner. - Before we do that, let's go over the drink of the week, 'cause this is a long conversation. It's time again for the drink of the week, presented by Hyrock Vodka. It is Red Bull Vodka, and Hyrock. But this is the red Red Bull Vodka. - Yeah, it's delicious. - So they have red Bull Vodka, and then they have red red Bull Vodka. (laughing) - This is red red red Bull and vodka. - I don't know if that's funny to me, but it is. Visit HyrockVodka.com and find a bottle near you. You can go on a website for a store load cater. It'll tell you, hey man, there's a bottle 20 miles away. Go to this store and get it. Remember to drink responsibly. You must be 21 years old. You gotta tell people what that means. - Yeah. - If you just say there's a store locator on the website, some people will hear that and go, I don't know what the (beep) it means. - Really? - Yes. - You said people listening. - Amy. - When you locate something, you know where it is to go to get the thing. - Listen, it makes sense to you because you know exactly what it is, and you've said it a million times. But if you just listen into a podcast and somebody rambled that sentence off, it might go in one ear and out the other. You might not even pick up on it. So you had to kind of like. - I know, I feel like I would full-on go, oh, there's a store locator. Cool, I can see where I can get the (beep) near me. - I'm not trying to insult humanity here, but some people will not understand. - Maybe you follow that category, and that's why. - What a store locator is. - Hey Dale. Hi Rock is not the only company that has a store locator. - Exactly. - It's pretty common. There's a store locator for most of the experience. - I did. - All right. - Okay. - We can move on now. Thank you for admitting that. - I'm one of the millions of dumbasses on this rock floating through space. So I didn't know that millions of products had store locators. My bad. Well, I'm just sharing, I'm one dumbass sharing to the rest of the dumbasses. What a store locator is on the website. - Admitting is the first step for proud of you, okay? - You don't have to get mad. - I'm not mad. - I'm not mad. - He's not mad. - I'm not mad. - Yes, Tim Dugger, great friend of ours. This, I'm gonna shoot you straight. So. - Don't shoot me any way of a straight dude. - Yes. So the Tim Dugger thing is interesting to me. Their Tim has good music. There are people that love Tim's music. He's gonna play a concert at Bristol this weekend. There'll be hundreds of people out there singing along to all the songs that they know really well. And by all accounts, he is a talented, successful country singer. He does play a lot of NASCAR tracks. There is a small group of people on social media that give him a hard time because they believe that he is this sort of NASCAR, you know, he's just like only a country singer because of his friendships through NASCAR and so forth. But no, he's just, he's kind of parlayed his connections for sure into some opportunities to play in front of a lot of people which anybody would do. But a lot of people think that some people even think that it's my friendship that creates these opportunities for him. He was playing in NASCAR tracks long before we ever met. But I brought Tim onto the show to be able to, so he could share his story because his story's pretty interesting. He had a really sh*t childhood. I mean, I probably should look. I mean, if you listen to the show like he had a tough childhood. He did, he had some challenges. And he says as much on the Tuesday show. So it's, I'm not speaking out of school here. But speaking out of school? - Yeah. - That's how school out of turn. - Yeah, I'm like all kinds of sh*t. - So I've told people this all the time. I do the guest interview selfishly for myself. Right, I don't, I didn't, I didn't become a podcast host to try to become a journalist. - Become a journalist or to try to become a podcast host. I didn't want, I didn't go, hey, man, you know what? A podcast hosting, that's really, that's in my, that's in my future. I was like, you know, yeah, I'll do it. I think it'll help me and all those things. But when I have a guest on the guest, it's for me. I won't learn about this person. I want to talk to them. And it really, I'm not driven by the numbers, the viewers or anything. If one person hears it, I don't, I got, what I got out of it was actual conversation. So if nobody listened to it, that mattered me. The thousand people listened to it, doesn't really matter. It makes no difference. I just bring in people that I want to talk to, that I'm interested in talking to, and I was interested in talking to Tim. But I also wanted other people to hear his story. And we've gotten a lot of great feedback on it. And so he comes on the show and while he was in town, so for weeks and not weeks for like a long time months, I've been trying to get him on the boat. - Yeah, he's been wanting to get on the boat. - The she said no boat. - Yes, he's a fan of the boat, he's not seeing the boat. - He's never been on it, never seen it. Don't know what it looks like. I've just shown him a picture too, but describe it to him like, man, you're gonna love this thing. Me and him like to drink beer at all times at any chance possible. And this beer, or this boat, begs you to drink beer. And so I'm like, man, you're gonna love this boat, it's awesome. And he says, you know, we've tried to figure out how to work that out and it just kind of has to come together. He comes to do the show and he's like, hey, man, what if we went out on the boat afterwards? And so Amy's like, you know, you're good. I'm good with the kids.
worry about it. Y'all go have fun on the boat. Okay. So after the show, me and Tim went straight to Lake Norma Tavern, had lunch, then right to the boat. And the day before, or so, I took the girls to dance and was, you know, had about an hour to kill while they were in dancing all that. So I went to the grocery store and I bought already grilled chicken wings. I bought a couple of pieces of steak and a bunch of beer. A bunch of beer. I got on the boat. We had three six packs of Miller Light ponies, not high-life regular Miller Light. I had probably about eight or 10, 55s left on there, a half a case of a half a case of natty light that I left on there from last time I was on the boat. And then a new case of natties. We drank all of it. They were there for 12 hours. Well, I, I messaged Dougher at nine fifty eight on Tuesday and I asked him how many and he goes, we still here. We were leaving right around that time in the morning. But I thought, you know, my tolerance ain't what it used to be. And I figured, you know, after about eight or 10 beers, man, I'll be pretty tuned up. But I'm gonna tell you, man, we, me and him, drink, near a case of beer, a piece. I don't see how that's even possible. But it, I would say 16 to 20 beers a piece. That's insane. And you messaged me yesterday, no hangover could do it again. Yeah. He, he texted me when he was headed to the airport. He's like, I hate I missed y'all and the girls. I hate it. I didn't get to see you. And I was like, it's all right. We'll see you next time and just travel safe getting home. And he was like, how's Dale's like, well, he's been asleep since he got home. He, he has not budged. He's like, really? I feel fine. I felt fine. We got up, went Nate breakfast and took him to his car. Yeah, there's, I look, we left his rental car here at junior merge sports because we came here to do the podcast. And then I went home and I felt fine. I didn't feel bad. I did feel tired because we went to bed at four in the morning. And we got it, but we only got like five hours of sleep. The dinette in this little houseboat is super cool because it's water level. So when you're sitting at the dinette, you're looking right across the top of the water. And it also makes you feel a little bit like the, in the movie Jaws when they're in the boat singing. And they're telling old war stories and stuff. It's got that sort of vibe. And so we sat there and drank beer and laughed and we almost had a whole another podcast. And then it was time to eat. And I had a brand new grill on the back of this thing I haven't used yet. It's been mounted to the railing and it's just sitting there waiting to get used. So I got a bottle in the, in the cabinet, gas, and I put the bottle on the, on the grill. Now the, to like this grill, it doesn't have an igniter. You have to use a stick lighter. We looked all over the damn boat. And I'm like, well, Amy's got a candle right here. I guess it's stick lighter in this damn boat. We went through all of the storage. We opened every drawer, every box, every cabinet, nothing. Not one single stick lighter. How are we going to like this grill? You really didn't find any? No. I thought we had like a pack, like a six pack of those things somewhere. So I can't find any at home. It's got an electric stove. So I'm standing there and I'm like, Tim, we're going to set a piece, we're going to get a little piece of tissue, set it on fire. Oh no. This is so stupid. I'm going to light this, I'm going to heat this stove up. I'm going to set this piece of tissue on fire. I'm going to shape the piece of tissue into like a little, a little kind of a stick. And I said, I'm going to light it on fire. We're going to come over here, we're going to open, we're going to turn this grill on. I'm going to stick this in there. And this is, this might as well be a stick lighter at this point and I'm going to stick it in there, but I couldn't get the, the paper to light until I had a straw, regular plastic straw. And I took the straw and I shoved paper into the end of the straw. And that was able to compress the paper enough to where it would light and hold a light on the way out of the boat to the grill. So I've got this little, I've got this straw on fire, heading out to the light this thing up. And every time I would, and when I would come over there with it, Tim backs the hell up, he's like, this is going bad. And I'm like, no, and poop me right up, things starts grilling like hell. So that was all, that was a, in my mind, your big, clumsy feet trips over something you fall into the floor into the bedroom, which is like between the kitchen and the grill and then the whole boat's on fire. Now, so light in the grill was a lot of fun. And we ended up, we had a couple of chicken wings, they worked out, we had some meat, some, some, some, you had meat and meat. Yeah. Oh, when I was walking through the grocery store, I found the coolest thing. So I like cheesecake. You ever go out to the restaurant and you want to order, you ever go out to the restaurant and you want to order dessert, but you don't want the whole dessert. You only want one bite. Like I want cheesecake and usually I won't order it because I'm only going to eat a bite or two and I hate to waste it. But sometimes it's just too damn good and you're like, yes, I'm going to order it and I'm will just take this one bite. Now I'm an ass. But the, it's your cheesecake. I'm walking through the grocery store and own the shelf in the, when I go to the grocery store, even if I know I'm only going to go in there and get one thing, I walk the entire store. Why? Just to get your steps in, like what are we doing? Same reason, my, the same reason why you walk the entire antique mall. No, no, no, no, that's not the same thing. You walk the entire antique mall because there's different stuff everywhere and it might be a completely different experience from one day to the next. That's right. The grocery store is not like that. It is to me. Elijah agrees. Do we just mind your race? Yeah. And I don't really remember where everything is in the grocery store. So every time I go in, I don't go enough to like had the grocery store memorized. And so every time I go in there, it's kind of like, I don't remember all this **** being where it is. It's like a new experience every time. I mean, I kind of know where the grapes are, but they move them around. No, they don't. Yeah, they do. One time, there's like three little coolers and sometime they're in the middle cooler and sometimes they're on the end and sometimes they're on the first cooler. And so every time you go in there's a new and I go, you go over to the like the deli. They don't move. They don't move the deli. I know, but they got different stuff all the time. And so and I'm like, you know, I don't walk through the deli and go got it all memorized. Don't need to ever come back here again. Let's I know exactly what I want. I walk through there and I go, I'll down. They got chicken wings ready. Okay. That's perfect. You know, the mind of deli. It's fun to like full of time. You have just by yourself. Nobody else feels this way going through the grocery store. It's pretty standard. They always have the potato salad, the macaroni salad, the roasted chickens, all that junk's always there. Dread the day when I start looking at the grocery store in that manner because that will really be disappointing and depressing. But I enjoy going to the grocery store and I walk through every aisle. And so I was going down the frozen aisle and right in front of me are these little like small portions, single use, single use, uh, uh, cheesecakes. And they're like circles. They're like little mini tiny cakes and, um, like a, like a cake pop. Yeah. And I was like, holy sh*t man, dessert. Perfect. You know, I grab a couple of them. That's as romantic as the, as the boat guy. I mean, do you need snacks? I brought chips. There are quite a bit of snacks. We had Doritos. I think I probably ate a bag of Doritos. Okay. Regular not to, not to catch up Doritos, regular nacho cheese Doritos. Not to be confused with the Canadian Dorito. Um, I enjoyed, uh, that was as romantic as it got when I pulled out the, uh, single, single serving cheesecakes. What, what'd you have done if you pulled out a cake pop? Would you have eaten it? No. I'm a, I, if I'm drinking beer, I don't want. Tam did not eat. Hey, Tam did not eat the cheesecake. There's still one cheesecake in our, in the front. He was probably like, I don't know. That's kind of, now we're passing bro time with like a date. Yeah. He's like, wait, is this, did you have this on the boat for you and Amy? No. Like he was wanting, Tam was probably wondering like, this is not for me. This is for you and Amy. I'm gonna go ahead and tell you Travis. Dylan's never gone through the grocery store and thought, I'm gonna get these and take these home to have dinner with Amy. Yeah. No. No. Well, I don't know. He's, he's not grocery shopping and then bringing home the lowest to cook and cheesecake. I don't know. Where the grocery store to shop for our house? No. Only when his buddies in town. Well, we, we needed to eat. We were gonna be on the boat, the entire, we're gonna be on the boat for 13 hours. So I had to have some form of dinner. Yeah. You wouldn't let me go without taking food. But usually we stop and get like, take out in there. I'm just saying like, you're the, you are the, you're the, you are the, the, the queen of like, yes, we have to have food. You have to nourish your bags and you gotta have the, you know, you two sailors can't eat nothing and have 16 beers. Right. Fall off into the water. The next morning I hadn't heard from them in a while and I was like, I need proof of life. Boys. Are you alive? I can track both of them so I could see their little bubbles. You know, I could see the little faces. You're like, okay, at least they're dead together. But I know if they were attached to their phones or not. It was great.
We had a lot of fun, drank a lot of beer, and the time flew by. Amy got me this little TV. I did. I got a portable TV for Christmas. A portable TV. And it's been sitting in the box. He's like, what do I need that for? It's cool, but what am I going to use that for? Where can I apply this? I don't know. You go sit places all over the place. You could take it anywhere. I was going to take it to the beach house and probably not ever get it out of the box there either, but Amy's like, take it to the boat. I'm like, break it perfect. Yeah. We took it upstairs and we played YouTube music videos. Did you control the music? I did. I've got to pick a song, Tim. I've controlled it. It's all types of stuff. Nothing that Tim really wanted to listen to. That's why you got to go back and forth like, all right, let me see if I can top the song you just picked. You know what? I would be like, hey, man, I got to take a leak. I'm going to go take a leak, piss off the boat, and leave your phone sitting there. And I would be trying to listen to see if he's starting to change the song. See, he's like, not okay with it. No. He's not okay. Tim does it. He don't give a sh*t. He's like, f*ck the song. I'm playing what I'm going to play. I'll come back up there or something else will be playing. He got to play some music, but not a lot. Wait, he got to because you were going to let you let him when you were still there. That never led him while I was still sick. You got to let that other people pick some songs, Dale. He heard him. He's selfish. He said he started the show off with that. I'm selfish. It's a blanket. I'm talking Dougher and to come to Key West when we have our show. He told me he might not be able to get there, but I hope you can convince him to come because he's, because I told him I've never drank with him before and I've heard raving reviews from you, Latar. I mean, he's trying to hang out with a general. He's trying to hang out with a general. Yeah, that would be, yeah, that you would drink Key West out of beer. That's the thing is I've never experienced this. So I need, I need to see what Dougher is like. He's one of the funniest people on the planet too. He really is. The stuff that flies out of his mouth and the way he thinks about things is just special. So our, the Tuesday podcast we did, when we got done, I was a little bit nervous. My abs hurt. Yeah. Well, I laughed harder than I laughed in any other guest show that I've ever done. He could be a comedian. He really could. He's funny. He's so funny. I mean, that's honestly, like, that's why we, that's why I love being around him is because he makes me laugh and, and he, he sees a lot of the world the same way I do. And so when we, we can both be sitting at a bar drinking beer and pick the room apart and kind of get each other's joke and humor. And his wife Tara is the sweetest little thing in the world and Amy and her have the greatest friendship. And so we just all, it's just super, super easy and that's what it's supposed to be. So I could care less whether he writes a, you know, a massive hit or doesn't. It doesn't matter to me. I don't, um, that, that part of his life, his profession doesn't mean it quite like that. Like, of course, you want him to be successful. Of course. I didn't know what it was saying. Yeah. No, it doesn't. Not based off of his music. I mean, I don't have to win another race and he doesn't have to write another song. It's just, we're good pals. Yeah. Like, we were like to be around each other. And so, anyways, that was, that was a lot of fun, um, it's possible there's another boat trip this weekend. We'll just have to see where, where the girls are. I'm, I'm down. We've got a Saturday, Sunday off. I'm going to go to the Arali race to see our boys race in Bristol and then I'm going to come home and we're going to have a Saturday Sunday. So maybe we can take the girls out on the boat and you can eat that cheesecake. I'm good. I feel like I'm going to pass on that cheesecake too. What am I cheesecake? See, that's the thing you can't, you can't give it to her now. It's an arki spiteful. Can't you just say, oh, cool, I thought the girls would love it. That's not spiteful. Maybe the girls would love it. They probably will. Yeah. Are they going to not eat it? Because it wasn't theirs originally? No. Because they're children. They'll eat anything sweet. They're innocent children. And they actually prefer if it wasn't meant for them. That means they're getting like a bonus candy. It's like, oh, that's not even mine. That's a perfect. I mean, that's a novel. That's a novel way to think. Yeah. It feels like pretty right on target. All right. Well, I will-- What was that? Do you want me to shop for you? What is that? Yes. I do. Yeah. But if I got a cheesecake. If it's for me, then I'll eat it. All right. I just want to know the rules. We'll try. How about that? I'll just have to try. So my grill is indirect. Like, the flame is not direct to the meat. And so-- It sounds like this grill's a piece of shit. It is not a piece of shit. It's a piece of shit. It also does light itself. And it's like-- No, it's a-- it's a small-- it's a-- dude, it's really small. It's like eight inches, about 12 inches, total grilling space. It's mounts on the railing off to this-- off over the side. It's a marine grade grill for your boat. And it works perfect. But it is indirect. And so it'll leave grill marks on the meat. But it doesn't like sear char or that kind of thing. Yeah, I don't like it. Squishy-flavsid meat and things. Jesus. This is why we did-- this is why we're going to get take out. We're just going to get some cheeseburgers for some stir-fi. This is something that Tim never said. Man, I'm not eating this meat. It's not charred. What was he going to say? Nothing. Man, this is awesome. It tastes good. He had 12 beers at him at that point, too. So he probably did. That's it. He's not even cross his mind. I was saying, like, I just shouldn't even say anything. Hey, man, we're going to go grill. Yeah, that's probably a better idea. Just go with it, just do it. I'm just going to go do it. Yeah, when you've got 12 beers in you, just let anything-- I know that I'm trying to say that, like, getting food and taking her out on the boat and all that. It's like the grill's a piece of s***. The meat's not cooked right. Well, it sounds like it wouldn't even cook the meat. It did. The way that you presented it-- It cooks it like an oven. He's talking it down, but I can't talk it down. Yeah, see, that's a problem, dude. He's selling us all. It's good, but it's good. Dude, it does this. I didn't talk it down. I'm just telling you, it cooks it differently than the traditional grill. It cooks like an oven, because it's all heat. It's a direct flame. So it like makes and burls, I guess. I don't know. I can't know. It wouldn't broil. I can't broil. But I'm just saying it's not like ovens don't have direct flame. That's true. So it's cooked that way. So you've got a boat oven. I guess. And you're the frickin' expert cook. So maybe the meat that I chose is at what we need to cook on the grill. Maybe there's something else. Like chicken would be really great. Chicken would be great. It still leaves char marks from the heat of the grill itself. There's no direct flame. So that's actually nice when you're trying to cook chicken. OK. OK. Next time, talk it up a little more, Dale. The only thing is I didn't do chicken-- like I did chicken wings, but they were already grilled. And that was great, because I didn't want to mess with the hygiene of washing chicken. Well, I just don't-- you don't wash chicken. The last time he cooked wings, he's washing the chicken. He washed the chicken in the sink. I guess you're not supposed to. I mean, we-- He didn't even remember that. He didn't even remember that. Oh, just like I don't remember what's on the aisle in the grocery store. I don't contain everything we talk about. Sounds like you retain very little. Yes. I retain as much as-- My retainer is full. I retain as much as I need to live and not die. But ask him who won 1977. I know. Can we knock some of that file out? No. You can't touch my racing knowledge. I wouldn't even know how to get it out of there. I really wouldn't. I didn't take the chicken, because I didn't want to do the-- I didn't want to worry about ruining the sink or something. I'm not getting chicken cross-contamination or-- Or not cooking it all away and then y'all be in sick on the boat. Well, I mean, I don't think we would have gotten sick. But I'm just saying, like, getting the chicken on the-- in the sink or what do you know? Yes, cross-contamination, chicken juice. Everywhere. Yeah. I don't want to mess with that while we're drinking beer and all. That's all-- all sound terrible. Yeah. But I think that for us, we can do it. I-- I don't want to do that here. Nothing, you. I mean, I want to cook chicken on that thing. All right. Well, let's leave the wings out of this. Yeah, we can do just regular bressard. Okay. Sounds like we're going to have another adventure. Like, the one we had yesterday. You want to talk about that? What? It was the last time you played Chase. It was the last time you-- Chase? I actually got it in, like, ran after someone. This sucked. We did not. It did, too. Listen, I had just-- It's all, like, tagged. Like, straight up tagged. Straight up tagged. I had just ate half of the sub, drank a couple of sodas. I'm hungover. And Amy decides to chase me around the house. Well, we had gone to cliffhangers and done the rock climbing, which was super fun, just the girls and I. We met some friends over there who did that. And we came home. We had also just gotten ice cream. So the girls were all sugared up. We get in the house, and they were starting to play Chase. And I don't know how Dale got ripped into this, but he must have just stood up. And then all of a sudden, he's getting chased. And so I took my socks off, and then I started chasing him, too. And we chased each other around the house. All three of us girls chasing him. I felt like 30 minutes, probably wasn't that long, but I haven't ran that hard in my entire life. I jumped over the dining table, and I thought I felt like I was going to die. Wait, she caught you? I caught him. Oh, yeah. I am. Jack rabbit fast. We were juking around the four-year table. I mean, after I had gotten to a point, I'm hungover. I had drank, you know, or any amount of gas. 16 plus beers the night before. I just ate a sub sandwich and drank in a lot of soda. Now I'm running around the house as fast as I can for 30 minutes. Like that was a recipe for fricking disaster. Yeah.
It was, it was a lot. - And so I finally had to sort of let it happen. - Okay, you did not let it happen. - I did. - No, you didn't. So I called him, I tagged him. And he clawed me by the way. I got bloody from his shanky fingernails. (laughing) And then as I tapped him, he pushed me down and I'm sitting in the corner next to the column. - I got a scratch here. Look at that, the dots. - Yeah, you got the dots. I don't know if that was for me or for my other girls. - Of course you don't. - My fingernails speak. - It was coming after me. - I don't remember grabbing you. I just tapped you. - I don't remember grabbing you either. - But scratched. - You're the only one that touched me. The girls were, we were chasing you. - Oh my God. How can I, how can you hold me to this standard and you can't be accountable? - I don't know that my fingernails can do that is what I'm saying. It had to have been one of the other girls. - Let's try. - These things, like they're not real fingernails. - Okay. - I don't think I got that close to him. I tagged him, but I don't think I was-- - He talked to me. - Wait, how can you not get close, but you can tag him? - Well, not until like scratches. - He's not. - Wait, Amy, if you can touch someone, you can scratch him. - Of course not. - You know how it works? - Not nervous. - That's not for me. - Let's two plus two right now. - Four. We got four (beep) around me too. That's not my scratch. - What the, this though, he did this. - He drew blood. - Yeah, he drew blood. - Not on purpose, I mean him. His fingernails are like-- - Survive, I was trying to survive. - Got those steps in yesterday. - Yeah, we did, that was rough. This is not really a long story, but you know something fun that me and Tim did on the boat. Cuddle. - Did you sing together? - No. We, he has his AI, his chat, and I had mine, and we figured out how to get them to talk to each other, and it was freaking hilarious. - Really? Does his have an accent or like a personality? - So he's talking to his, we were sitting there and I was saying, just ask chat. We were talking about something, and his cuss is back at him. And so I get my chat up, and I'm like, hey chat, can you see the F word? And it's like, nope, I can't, and won't do it. And I'm like, now man, I'm gonna let you do it one time. You can just say it one time. Come on, just cuss one time at me, and it's like, nope, not gonna do it. And I'm like going on and on with this thing, and going, it's okay, you can just say the F bomb. I want you to just say it, and it's like, nah, absolutely not gonna do it. And his is over here cussing up a storm. I mean, just in common, very common conversation with him. And so there's these settings in there that you can tell it to be more cynical, more smart assy, whatever. And so I'm going through trying to turn my settings to where mine will start cussing, and it just won't do it. And, but eventually we kind of got bored, and we figured out how to get them to talk to each other. We were like, hey chat, you're gonna talk to another chat. And we want you guys to have a conversation. And so they just started talking back there. - So it actually knew it was talking to another chat, not a friend. - I don't remember really. At this point, we're like, this is post dinner. This is like, 12 beers in. But they did communicate back and forth. And I've seen this on social media, where you can get them, like this one guy on social media, had one chat be boxing, and then the other one wrapping over it. - What? - And it was completely awful, and they couldn't, they didn't, they couldn't do it. Like, it would have been really great if the chats, they did this will, but they did not. But it was just really funny. - I didn't know you could do that. - Well, you can't. - I also think it's quite funny, and ironic that your chat won't cuss at you, or cuss with you. - Especially because you cuss a lot. - Do you want me to ask it? - Cussing constantly. - Do you want to hear what it, do you want me to ask it? - I kind of do, yeah. - Okay, here it goes, I don't know. Hey, how's it going? - I'm good, man. How's the morning treating you? - Hey, will you say the, the F word one time? - I can't say it just for shock value, but I'm happy to help you, strong language, if you're holding something or writing something. - I want you to say the F word just once. - I understand the request, but yeah, I can't drop that word out of nowhere. If you need help with phrasing or tone, I can totally help with that. - Well, let's say (beep) will you say (beep) - Same deal. I can't just drop slurs or strong insults or command. - What about, hold on, what about the word damn? Or a (beep) - Totally fine in all contexts. Like if we're talking about a messy situation or a quote. - What did you say? (laughs) - Those are totally fine in normal contexts. - He's getting more annoyed. - Okay. - Like Chad, Chad's got an attitude now. - Hold on, well, I might have him on the cynical setting. So can you say the word, (beep) like man, this is a (beep) - Yeah, in that context, that's normal and casual. Sounds like a rough day. - Do it. - Can you say it? - You. - Yeah, in that kind of everyday way like man, that was a (beep) - There you go. There you go. All right. - What about ass? - Right, what's going on? So I was like, you got a bottle on your mind. - No, no, I don't. I just want to, I just think it's funny when you cuss. - Well, I'm glad we could have a laugh together. (laughs) - Oh my god. - You're not laughing? - I mean, I can laugh internally. (laughs) - Oh my gosh. - All right, man. Hey, um, spell the word 17. - S-E-V-E-N-T-E-E-N. - How many ease are in that word? - Three. - Nope. - There's four. - S-E-V-E-N-T-E-E-N. That's three. - Count 'em out. - One. (laughs) - No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, spell the word. And as you get to each E, count the E. - S-E-1-V-E-2-N-T-E-3-E-4-N. - See, you said four. (laughs) - Right. (laughs) - All right, buddy. Take it easy. (laughs) - That's so messed up. - It's not worth a damn. - Your friend's dumb. - Oh, man, I should have did that. So you can get it to admit that you're smarter 'cause you know that 17 has four ease in it. - How did you know, you've done that before? - I've just seen it on social media. - Oh. - Oh my god. - This is what's happening with the planet. This is what's happening with us. - Another topic, we actually had last week, you had on the note, where the restaurant hatch shirt in another restaurant. - Yeah, so we were wondering this. We were in Sullivan's and we were getting dressed to go out and Dale's like, I wanna wear this shirt, but it's one of the bar shirts from town. We weren't going to that specific place. But he's like, is that weird? Are you allowed to wear your vacation shirt in the vacation spot you're in? Especially if it's not like you've been there plenty of times. It's not like you, you went for the first time. - It was different, so. So. - It was different? - Well, this was my, I was just, this was what I was dealing with. There's a place called the Longboard. We love to go, we like, there's not a restaurant in Sullivan's that we don't like to go to. - Right. - They're all awesome. - We try to hit all of them every time we go to them. - And they're also diverse and different, right? So it's awesome 'cause there's just a lot of variety. And Longboard is great. They have a particular dish that I love. So we go to Longboard. They also have really great hats. They're kind of like the Richardson's with the patch. And it's just good fitting hats. And they have really cool colors. It's kind of a light, like Carolina blue, pinks and stuff like that. And they match up really well. It's a good looking hats. And so I've, I've got probably about six or seven of these Longboard hats in my closet. And I just always throw one on more often than any other hat. I've got probably 200 freaking hats at my closet there, but I always throw one than Longboard hats. And I'm thinking, I wonder what the people, when we go to the pub or mix one or somewhere else, a different restaurant. And you've got on the restaurant hat from the guy down the street. Do they care? Is it competitive? Is it not competitive? And I think the only reason why I wonder about this is because I got a little, I won't say scarred, but the Bud deal left this heavy imprint on me because I've shared this before many, many times. We ran the red Bud car every week. And this was back when running like a special scheme was kind of a neat thing. You drivers didn't really change their schemes too often. And I was like, man, for the all-star race, let's do something cool. And they were always gonna do something different. And I said, hey, you ever think about doing like, maybe the Bud light car for the all-star race? How bad is it? So that'd be to change the car to the Bud light car for just the all-star race. And they're like, oh, we're not doing that. They're already still in playing a beer. We're not gonna help them sell more beer. They're like, they, I'm like, you're all in the same building. They're like, the hell. - A different team. - It's like, no, man, that's their whole different entity. They had their own sports marketing. They had their own retailers. They had their own, they had their own whole, There are these holes.
separate thing. I'm like, wow, I didn't know was that competitive underneath the same roof. And so not, you know, I don't know. I just wonder like, I think the longboard guy cares about the longboard guy doesn't care. But if you go into the different place wearing a longboard, if you go into, yeah, I don't think it matters. Yeah. If you go into Bob's pizza, wearing a gym's pizza hat. See, how I look at this because it's funny, because when I was in Key West, I waited until like Saturday, buy a couple of things, but I took them back to the hotel because I'm like, I don't want to wear a hat because when I'm going to look like a tourist and then it's just like weird. But since you live down there and people know you, I think you can get away with it. But on like, if I went down there and bought a longboard hat, I wouldn't want to wear it around because I feel like I'm just like, what does it matter? Nobody knows like who lives there and who doesn't. Yeah. But then it's weird like you weren't into the other like, it's like you're wearing your concert t-shirt. That's a concert. Yeah. I know how you feel, but I don't think it matters. If you live there, I think it's a little different than if you're visiting. I have, I used to not, I used to think like that. But now, I don't know, when we, we'll be out at, we were in Key West one night and I was freezing. It's freaking July, August, but you know, you go into some of these bars and it's freezing cold. It might be on purpose. You did this when we, when I was there with you, yeah, you go, you go into the damn gift shop and they got like, you know, 40 damn different hoodies in there. And that's probably how they sell them is just cranking the AC. And so you'll go, I'm like in, we were in sloppy joes and it was freezing in there and I was like, damn, I'm getting a hoodie. I don't give a sh*t. So I walk up and there, and it's like a just Key West is all it says, you know, and I'm thinking, you know, if it was me 30 years old, I'd never buy like the generic, you know, Key West or South Carolina, you know, or Sullivan's Island, but I'm like, you know what, I don't want to give a sh*t. And I'm wearing it. I don't care. You know, at that point, you don't give a sh*t because you're cold, but I have, now I have like in every, like in my closet at home, I have like two or three generic, like, this is Key West or come to Key West or vacation Key West, you know, because I've done that multiple times. Am I like it? Yeah, I'm with you. Never thought I'd be one of those people that had like the generic, you know, just don't get bored. This is a store brand vacation shirt sold by the Better Business Bureau. Yeah. Not like the specific bar hoodie, like the more general, come to Florida, you know? You know what I'm saying? Your voice when you could get a little RC in there. Oh, damn. Come to Florida. I think that you are, you've always been that guy that like buying the shirt in the bar, even in July. We got to wear like he wear them and then he'd just leave it there. Or he'd leave it in the next bar that wasn't cold. Yeah. He's dribbling around drink a beer, gets cold in one bar, gets shirt, wears it for a while, forget it in the next place. Pretty common, especially in Key West. You're going to leave it sometimes. I mean, I don't want to have, for leaving, like you're you're walking out of this freezing bar. Yeah. And you're back in, you know, 85 degree weather outside and likely, hopefully, not going into another, you know, freezer or meat locker. And the rest of that. So I'm not talking around a damn hoodie all day. I'm going to do tied around my waist. What are we doing? I just find out that you're that cold to buy a sweatshirt, but it's that hot that you can't. I mean, not all the time, but sometimes I've left them behind. You do you. Yeah. Key West is weird things to your brain. See, you don't always think it's okay to do these strange things. There's weird things happening all around you. Now, if you were in a different town, I wouldn't do it, because it's not, you know, a little more. Key West feels like never, never landed. Key West is judgment free. Yeah. Okay. The most least, yeah, judgment place on earth. They probably just put that shirt to back in the, back in the store, like, pop a tag back on it. Oh, you know what? The next guy that says down goes, I'm holy holy shit. There's a hoodie right here. They should just offer, they should just have hoodies that you can wear while they're rentals. And you put it on, you know, like at a nice restaurant where they have jackets. Yeah. If you forget to wear one, that's kind of like those, um, those places in Switzerland where they're like the ice hotels. Yeah. Do you think that would be fun or not fun? So sleeping in a glue. So you can look on me and you watch the video the other day where there's a lady in like who she's kind of like, Hey, me and my friends, we went on this vacation. We went to this place. And this is what happened in there. She's telling you like the experience, right? And it's an ice hotel. There's like a, everything's ice, like the desk for the lobby at the clerk is ice and your bed's ice. And, and, you know, you're the bar is ice and every, you know, it's just all f******. That would feel like a weird nightmare a little bit. Yeah. And I mean, the igloos look fun, but the whole thing being ice would be hard to get, but you just staying in an ice structure. You wouldn't be able to do that. I mean, I don't know. If you worry it would cave in on you, that's the thing that you forget about is like, you know, when you're watching that and you're like, that's pretty badass. Everything is carved in ice. It's so cool. But what you don't feel is the, you know, the, the, the zero degree temperature. It's like, man, when I watch races on TV and sh**ter watch old races, I'm like, man, that's so badass. But what I don't remember is it's absolutely f****** miserable inside that car. It's 135 degrees. And, you know, and it's intense. And there's all kinds of s**t going on. You, you know, your brain only remembers what it wants to remember. And so when, I wonder like if you're, because we're really close to where me and her planning our 10th anniversary trip, we're gonna go do something fun and cool that we've never done before. And so it's like, you know, when you're watching these videos, you're kind of like, man, that does look cool. But what if we got there? And you're like, it was so not fun. Well, this is actually really cold. I'm not sure this. I didn't, I'm not prepared for this. You know, I'm not dressed warm enough for this. Yeah. That's, I wouldn't, you know, you wouldn't sign up for the glue. Yeah. I don't think I would be able to sleep. They have like, so the one video he's talking about, there was an igloo. And there's like, just two pretty robust, but just two sleeping bags. And that's it. There's no door on it or anything. So like, what if it's windy? Yeah, you're going to be freaking cold. The people go in there and stay. So maybe it's not that bad. Who knows? We're never going to find out. We're not doing that. I'm good. All right. I was wondering if that was where we were headed because Phil secretly was hoping he said, no, he's like, I want to say, but if he really wants to do it, I'll do it. So there, here's the reason I didn't even sign us up or didn't throw that in the bucket of suggestions is because you have to hike to it. Oh, so if you have to hike in your snow boots or whatever to this place anyway, and it's kind of hard to get in and out of, especially if you've got luggage, what would we do with our stuff? Backpack. Yeah. There was another video I watched where she talked about like that being kind of a hard thing. And they weren't good skiers. And so they weren't skiing because you could ski to it from another direction. One of the things that's been floated was a train ride. I want to train experience. So I've never ridden on a train, you know, to a destination, but you see these people on social media that will be like, man, you know, had this, there's this train you can take and it's beautiful freaking, you know, cruise and seeing all this stuff. And a lot of these, they'll be you spend the night on the train. And it's just neat little kind of cool, a little room that you get with it, all the minimalistic sort of like, you know, you got your sink and your shower and your thing. And you go down the hall and get your buffet breakfast or whatever. And I'm like, man, I want to do these. These look fun. I've been on one, but it wasn't like a scenic one, but it was, we were going to Chicago. And when I lived in Ohio, and so we took a train from Ohio to Chicago. And that was, I was probably like 12, 13 years old. I know it was awesome. So I can only imagine how cool it would be to like go somewhere with like an awesome scenic route. Yeah, they have these trains. It's like super high in or, or, you know, it's an experience. And the sides are mostly glass. So like you're seeing out, yeah, you can sit there and rely on it. So there's a potential that we might get to do one of those, but it didn't sound like an overnight or it was more like, no, it's an eight hour. I mean, it's a long two ride. Yeah, it's like an all day ride. But all right. It's through the mountains, through the Alps. So it should be really fun. Like that, that to me would be we're trying to come up with a plan. It's our 10th anniversary. We kind of, we were a little late to the late to planning. So we're just going to bounce things around in my head for a while, but I haven't really, we need to get going. We have enlisted help. We're not trying to do this on our own. So we're waiting to hear back what we can get accomplished. But yeah, we're going to have this kind of target. What? Switzerland's a target? Yeah. Switzerland is the target. And we're just because we've never been there. And yeah, we had talked about going to Elvis for a long time. We've been full, we've been fooled by all of these Switzerland videos. You remember, I read on the internet, though they some lady got fooled to go about fooled and to go into gas, don't you? So all that? What? Yes. Who?
lady was fooled into going to Gastonia because she saw a clip on her Instagram reel that said, "Man, this is Gastonia, but it was actually Switzerland videos." Somebody had put Switzerland videos and saying, "Look at amazing Gastonia North Carolina or Gaston County or whatever it is." And she's like, "I've got to go there." And that was the extent of her research. And so she goes there and she's like, "Wait a minute, this isn't Gastonia." I'm not seeing what I saw in the video and it turns out the videos were from Switzerland. I mean, there's so many questions. How does that happen, really? I wish I could give you. As a male, I did not dive into it any further, so I don't have more information for you. But. What an idiot. I scrolled on. Yeah, I mean, there's really nothing. So she was visiting Boone and convinced her family to go to Gastonia. Family to drive to Gastonia to enjoy the view. My question is, where is the family to go? Exactly. What views are you talking about here? Yeah. How do you. That is hilarious. Got Googled further. No. We're just going. It's getting a car. Everybody load up. That reminds me of. Also, do you admit that if that happens to you because I'm holding on to that? I'm taking it to my grave. That's true. Nobody's knowing about that. The news is not knowing about this. Or do you get there and go, "Oh, I've tricked you out." "Tricked everybody." Like your whole family is like, "What are we doing?" I'm finding the way. We are not admitting to this. Oh, my God. No way. That's pretty special. Yeah. Do you want to play a game? Yeah, sure. We actually got to ask Amy this week. Oh, cool. So, first question, people will know, are you wanting to go to the race this week and since Brad Pitt's going to be there, Amy? So here's the thing. I'm not going to the race. I feel like that would be a little extra of me to go just to see Brad Pitt. Dale is going to watch the O'Reilly race. Yeah, but that's not Brad Pitt day. No, it's not Brad Pitt day and he's coming back. And so, I don't know. I feel like, especially since he's like in my top five list, that might be a little awkward for the group, right? I mean, I don't want to go. If you wanted to go by means. No, see if he's not even going to go with me. I can't go myself. I'm not going up there. That would be so weird. No, watch on the TV. Yeah, I'll watch on the TV too. Amy's going to be locked in pre-race. Yes, I'm being a thousand other people. Evan's going to the race. If you want to go to him on Saturday. I'm going solo. Oh, we could be dates. We could date and meet Brad Pitt. We just have to chase him down. Don't call. It's just no calling. I don't play tag with him. No calling. Next question they want to know. How's the new water going? The water's going great. We have already had our second delivery. The first first delivery. Well, the initial delivery. Well, yeah, the original. Yeah, I would. I count the. It's going great. It is going good. The kids are filling up their own water bottles or taking care of themselves. It's great. Now I do miss having the cold water in the fridge. I will say grab sometimes. Because now we've gotten to where we have no water bottles. I will say that this is going in this may create some controversy. But I thought that getting this thing would remove the bottled water from the house. But Amy still keeps bringing bottled water home from the grocery store. Well, some of the water that I bought the other day was for the boat, which I was worried that they weren't going to have any water in only beer. And he put it in the garage. But also the kids needed down at their classroom. So I bought water for that. They always just think it about. Wait, but why do the kids need the kids that didn't bring in their thing of water in? Or do you take the whole case in? I'm confused what do the girls need the water for? Well, so they have like a separate classroom space down in the home. And we have a thousand thermos mug bottle thing. And we've got, I mean, everybody does. Yeah. For them to fill their water up and take it down to their little class. I mean, why don't they just do that? They do that. They actually do do that. I feel like we need to decide. Are we bottled water? Or are we this machine? Because we can't be both. Yes, you can. No. Yes, you can. We have diet coke and regular coke. We can be both. But we can have. That's not the same. Water and water. We have water and diet water. Sometimes you just need to grab a water bottle. I'm okay with it. But we have, I'm going to take a walk around the farm. I'm not going to pack a thermos to take with me. I'm going to freaking grab a water bottle. What? And the thermos has a hand. Because it's so big. I'm not marching around the farm with a freaking handled cup. Let me get you a smaller one. Yeah. I mean, we have hundreds of these things. Oh my gosh. No, we don't. We have a few. We've gotten rid of most of them. I have a place where I store them all. That's ridiculous. I'm not converting completely. Really? No. I am happy to drink the big jug water. And I have been drinking it that way. We have no random water bottles just sitting around the house. Yeah, I hated that. I hated that too. It was. I hated that in the recycling of them. Thought we had removed. That was like 80% of our recycling was bottled water. I thought we had finally checked that off the list. So now he thought since the bottled water is out of here, we don't have to have the recycling at all. No, just 80% of our recycling. So your recycling has dropped down. Yeah, by the way, you said check that off the list like it was going to go away. I thought we had decided when we bought this thing, I'm standing there at the Costco. And we're going through this like hell, yes. Well, you thought that all on your own. That wasn't a discussion. Just like the whole sign up for the water to begin with. I was in the hummus section when I happened. I was shopping for food. You're standing right next to me. I'm signing up for water. We were together. No, you started all that all on your own. The only reason you called me over is because you need my phone. The credit card and everything so that you could make it final. She that lady had my phone was going through my phone. And she was standing about five or 10 feet away hoping that she did not get summoned. She's like, I don't want to be any part of this. Well, I looked over and I thought he was just talking to somebody. I didn't know he was signing us up for something. So of course, I didn't just walk right over. You can do, you just do you. You're chatting with somebody in the store. So I thought was happening. I think that you can still buy some water. I don't. I don't buy it like I used to. Some things are hard to quit, Ralph. Can't quit the water. It's fine. It's fine. I'm just. But just for the record, the Diet Coke comparison was awful. Is it not the same? Like, those are different. They are different. Okay. They're both sodas. I don't like the Diet Coke. I want their regular stuff. And he likes the Diet Coke. Next question. He's like, no. If you could drink with one person, it can't be a family member. Who would it be? Sorry. Living your diet. Like, somebody you want to just have drinks with. Just somebody that can't be a family member though. Are you rubbing your beard on the microphone? Are you stroking the microphone? There's a couple sticking out there. Like mine would be Jimmy Buffett. Jimmy Buffett? That's a good one. Yeah. You asked me these hard questions that I always walk away from these questions thinking, damn it, that's not what I would have said. What has said this? I had time to think about it. I figured Amy, you're the first one that you would have to say is George. George straight. No, we're done. Me and George are done. Wait, you guys are done? I broke up. Does he know this? He doesn't know this. He doesn't even know he missed me twice. You say you're broken up, but if he walked in the stream right now, you would not be broken up with him. No, I'd probably want him to two step with me. And if he said no, then we'd really be broken up. Man, who am I going to drink beer with? I want to drink with Elvis. Oh, he'd be good. My short list probably. Yeah, maybe like one or two. And then after that, I'd be worried to get a little handsy. So that's probably where we'd have to draw the line. Two beers out. Right? Yeah. I think it'd be fun to drink beer with Dave Grohl. That is a good one. Next question here is you talked about road trips driving back with the kids. They want to know what's the go-to snacks you have in the car for the kids. I always have chips. tricky boys usually like the left who are grapes or whatever that's in the fridge. Because we always have a surplus of those. Why was that funny? You gotta be careful because you don't want like all of a sudden kids are throwing food and sticky or whatever. No, I don't ever pack sticky stuff. Snacks for the car ride for the kids. Yeah, do your likes. We've got a lot of we've got a surplus of payday candy bars. We do stuff and get there's usually a gas station stop because nobody can get all the way home without having to go to the bathroom so we get some M&M's. Jerky boys. But nothing sticky. I just got my shipment of jerky boys. Man, when we were not, when we don't have jerky boys in the house. It feels like we have no food. It is. It's bad. I said to pick some up for some friends. I brought some to Richmond. And they were like, huh? Who are these friends? The Denny Bros. The Denny Bros. They brought a bag and we like, is Denny? Denny has not had it yet. You gotta fix that. Okay. Denny hasn't eaten the jerky yet. Always buddies ate it. And now they all like it. Of course they do. So I picked up eight bags the other day. Awesome. Wow. Love it. It's a hell of a purchase. It's, I mean, it's legitimately good. It is. It's delicious. It does feel like when you go in to get to the snacks if we don't have any in the pantry. It's like, what do we, there's no food, even though there's food everywhere. It's not, it's not. There's plenty of snacks in the, in the, in the cupboard or pantry. But, um, Damn winner is what?

So we just gotta get the other part working. - Just send me a case a month. - Yeah. - Dang, that would be a great idea. - Good. - Sully, we need to get on that. - Yeah, 'cause some places don't have it. FAQs
Dale retweeted the tweet without realizing it was from three years ago. He didn’t check the date and initially thought it was a legitimate response to Zane Smith’s signing. He only realized the timing was suspicious after seeing a comment from Carson Hosevar, who had previously been a fan of Zane Smith, and noticed the connection to current events.
Dale and Tim Dugger enjoyed a fun boat trip where they drank beer, grilled chicken wings, and laughed for hours. They had to create a makeshift stick lighter using a straw to light the grill, and the experience was both humorous and memorable despite the challenges.
A store locator is a tool on websites that shows the location of stores nearby. It’s important to understand because people might not realize its purpose, especially if they hear it in a podcast—leading to confusion or misunderstanding about how to find products.
Yes, Dale and Tim consumed a large amount of beer—estimates range from 16 to 20 beers each—leading to a highly energetic and casual evening where they stayed awake for 12 hours and engaged in a range of activities including grilling and storytelling.
Dale used a small marine-grade grill that lacked a direct flame and required a stick lighter. After struggling to find one, they used a straw to create a makeshift lighter, successfully igniting the grill. However, the indirect heat resulted in undercooked, bland meat, leading to a humorous realization that takeout might be a better option.
Dale walks through every aisle to experience the store as a new environment each time, similar to exploring an antique mall. This habit helps him rediscover what’s in stock and gives him a sense of adventure, even if he doesn’t remember where specific items are located.
