Crowd Goes SILENT As Trump SPIRALS On Stage

So this was a total mess. Donald Trump gave a speech today in Houston, Texas at the Space Center, NASA. It was meant to be a summit for young astronauts, but of course, that's not what Donald Trump did. That's not what he made it to be. His speech was rambling about himself. He was incoherently all over the place. He even started talking about the 2024 election for some strange reason, but a lot of the people behind him look incredibly confused by what he was saying, rightly so. So I want to show you some of what Donald Trump said today, the disaster that he put on display, the embarrassment he put on display. And I think we have to start here with Donald Trump wandering and standing awkwardly on the stage before being guided to the other side. He just seems to not really know what's going on. Nice one, Donald. He is totally with it, huh? He's just standing there looking off into the distance, kind of thinking like, wow, I wonder how they got that light on that ceiling or something along those lines. He has no idea what's going on. Kind of an embarrassing moment. And I remember during the Biden years where Republicans would selectively edit clips of him to make him look lost on stage. They would do it all the time. And then when Donald Trump is doing stuff like this, he literally has to be guided to the other side of the stage. They're all quiet, but let's get a clip of him speaking, which is certainly not something I'm looking forward to. He rambled pretty incoherently here. I have no doubt that under this great administrator and all of you people, you're going to have no question is going to go further than it ever has. I really believe that or I made a big mistake in getting into it again because I had to get it going. What is this guy talking about? Just listen to this. Produce some of the greatest achievements in human history. And I have no doubt that under this great administrator and all of you people, you're going to have no question is going to go further than ever. It was a little bit not going too well. Another coherent and great sentence by the president of the United States. And look at these poor people, all of these young astronauts who are, you know, some of the smartest people in the country, right? They all have to manage to keep a straight face while this lunatic is saying, I applaud them genuinely for managing to keep a straight face as you know, he's doing his thing. This gentleman in the middle, he, he, he got, he almost got him. He almost, you know, had to burst out laughing because of how stupid it was. Um, but even the comments on that video are confused. For example, JJ Malone saying, what the F is he babbling about? The entire world is laughing at him and us. And honestly, I don't have an answer to the question. This blank is dumber than a rock baby speak more clearly than his white baboon ass does get the F out of here with this. Right? Narcissistic bullshit. Uh, these astronauts work their whole lives to get where they are. And now they have to listen to this at Jan, which I completely agree with. I completely sympathize with. Here's another one where Trump is just like, it doesn't make any sense. This is why you shouldn't have Donald Trump speaking about things that number one, he doesn't understand. And number two are too complex for him to understand space travel, NASA, that realm, it completely above Donald Trump's pay grade, at least intellectually. And so, just take a look at this clip. It is again, just incoherence. A nation cannot be first on earth. If we're going to be second in space, just not going to happen somehow. It just doesn't work that way. It, yeah, it makes sense. I was going to say, does it make sense? Yeah, I guess it does. When you think about it, right, Brian, what is going on? Did he, you know, not take his medicine today? Was he not given the injections in the hands, the bruising? I don't know. What is going on? It just doesn't make any sense. This is, this is really concerning stuff. And then Donald Trump got distracted in the middle of the speech, which not surprising as well. Donald Trump has a tendency to go off script and notice something in the crowd and just start speaking about that and ignoring what he was there to do. But he got distracted by a man in the crowd saying that he's a good looking guy. Okay. All right. What's very special flag and it's here today right next to me. And Jack is here also. Where's Jack? Where's Jack? Number one, where's Jack and number two, where's the flag? Anybody letting me know? Jack, you look good. I know the flag looks good. Where's the flag? Oh, it's over there. It's hidden behind a lot of rockets. Thank you, Jack. Very good. I was wondering, you know, I'm saying, am I supposed to be introducing a flag that I can't see? It's invisible. The, uh, great job by the way. Great guy. He's still a good looking guy. You were always a good looking guy. Now I think you're better with the white hair. They worked their entire lives to get here. And, and Trump is pointing out random guys in the crowd saying, I think you look good with the white hair. You're, you're a good looking guy. You look even better now. It's just, it's just so embarrassing. You know, I said in my video yesterday that one of the things that bothers me the most about Trump's America, there's a lot of things. It's a long list, but it's the stupidness, the stupidity of all of it. I mean, this is stupid. This is just stupid. That's the only way you can describe it. It's just idiotic and it happens every single day. And it is embarrassing for the United States. It really, really is. But then of course, Donald Trump has to make it about himself. He starts ranting about his uncle, his MIT uncle, who he says genetically they love space, which also just doesn't make any sense. But alas, here it is. Then I'm going to be presenting them a little something in a couple of minutes, but these astronauts did not do it alone. I want to salute all of the engineers and scientists, launch and landing specialists, everyone at NASA who helped make this mission a great success. I had an uncle who was a great scientist, a great man. He was at MIT for 41 years Dr. John Trump and he loves space he used to tell me about space space soul space he would throw in the word nuclear every once in a while but he he loves space so I guess we have genetically we sort of I believe in that stuff I love it I find it so interesting so amazing it's very special thanks you know um wow I I like what do you even say to that it's it doesn't make sense it just doesn't make sense what Donald Trump sounds like here is like a a school child who didn't read the book and is trying to read to reach the word limit on the essay that they're writing about the book that's what Trump is is sounding like here he's space space space and you know genetically in me and my uncle I believe in that stuff the president of the United States everybody this is what MAGA voted for and they still stand by him they love it and then of course he makes it even more about himself so he ranted about his uncle and space space space and then he decides in front of these young astronauts to talk about his victory in Texas in 2024 because what would be a Trump speech without bragging about an election victory I mean I shouldn't get political so I won't but I will tell you from 2015 everyone thinks I ran in 20 say I actually announced in 2015 lieutenant governor Dan Patrick called up he said I want to be the chairman of your campaign in Texas and you've never left right and we won it in record record votes nobody came close nobody needs to hear this guy talk about it I just wanted to show you the clip that in front of all these people he's bragging about an election victory and this is a clip that really disturbed me amongst the many other very very disturbing clips in this speech so during the Artemis 2 mission there was a man on board whose wife had died of cancer he's a single father now taking care of his kids it's a really really sad story but while they were on the ship they noticed a bright spot on the moon that had never been named before and they named the spot after his late wife and when you watch the video of them doing it aboard the ship and when you read the story it's enough to bring a tear to your eye I mean it's really really moving it's heartwarming and just what like an amazing tribute to his wife right and that brings us to this clip where Donald Trump invokes this story and once again makes it about himself and kind of disrespects the crew the man and his late wife he says the crew named a lunar crater in loving memory of Reed's wife who he lost to cancer I wish they named something like that after me who thinks to say that it is so weird remember during the mission the crew named a previously unnamed lunar crater in loving memory of Reed's wonderful wife who he lost to cancer so they call it the Carol crater so that's making Reed a little weepy right now because I heard she was an incredible woman will never be forgotten now she'll never be forgotten we honor her and truly the memory is all about the moon. That's a great one. I wish they'd named something like that after me read, but I don't know. I'll have to get the governor's approval. I like that. That's beautiful. See what it's such, he's such a piece of crap. I want to say something much worse about him, but I try not to swear on the show. I try to leave that to the comment section. You know what I mean? Um, this is really just appalling. And what Donald Trump thinks is happening here, he thinks that this crowd actually likes him, but these are some of the most educated people in the country. So that's not a good bet. Donald, uh, he thinks this crowd likes him. So when he makes a joke like that, Oh, I'd wish they named something like on the moon after me. He thinks they're all going to laugh and say, Oh, it's genius. It's political brilliance, but it's not. And nobody is laughing. I mean, you could hear a pin drop in that room when he said it, because every, everybody is kind of like baffled by what he's saying there. The final clip I want to show you is once again, Donald Trump making it political. He feels it to be appropriate to rant about Obama and Biden. Both of these men have been out of office for many years now, especially Obama, but Biden, you know, two years now ish and Donald Trump is still ranting about them. So take a look. You had Peter. Well, maybe they didn't like it. Maybe they didn't like the concept. I don't know, but it was certainly, uh, not anything. It was very embarrassing. Actually, what had happened, not only had the United States lost its ability to send our astronauts to the moon, but under the, uh, under a number of administrations, I have to tell you, but in particular, the Obama administration, we even lost our ability to send astronauts into orbit at all. We had no ability in space whatsoever. We totally lost it with everything we spent with all of the talent and all of the genius and all of the money. We had nothing. And when I got here, I came here. I went to Florida. I visited a couple of the places. I wanted to see what was going on. NASA was closed. Absolutely closed. It was almost nobody there. I, I, I'm going to stop him because I don't want to listen to him anymore. I feel like we might be on the same page here. Um, but he, you know, he's ranting about Obama and Biden and saying they closed down NASA. In reality, Donald Trump is the one who has cut NASA funding. I know that does not come as a surprise. It's not shocking whatsoever, but he is the guy who, uh, shut down NASA funding much of it, by the way. And I do have to give a shout out to a couple of these astronauts behind him. This astronaut right here has managed to keep the straightest face throughout this, not laughing, which I honestly respect. Um, I don't think I could do that with, with this, you know, lunatic ranting in front of me. He's just so embarrassing. I'd have to laugh. And, uh, her over here, this astronaut right here, she has also kept an incredibly straight face throughout this, which once again, I applaud really, it's actually impressive. So look, that was Donald Trump's speech today. It was a disaster. It was really bad. I mean, I think we can tell from those clips, it was not good, but I will leave the video there to spare us from more clips of Trump speaking, which really you don't want too many of those in a day. As I say, if you had a doctor who would, uh, diagnose some of this stuff, they'd say, stay away from Trump. It makes you healthier. I will leave it there. Thank you so much for watching.
