We are reacting to week two of the NFL season and D-Bro is rude. That's pretty much all I can say about the journey that he's wearing. No, no, fairs fair. He had to pull it out after the Saints pulled out a miracle win with the Ravens getting hoes done a call and fourthed out at the end of the game, which I'm not really saying with my full chest because the Saints also got hoes done in other plays in that sequence. So it's a poor officiating all around in that cool line sequence really. We'll get into that game more in a second. D-Bro, how are you doing here on week two? Doing really well, Worm. I've decided to dust off Old Jersey and for everybody at home, this is not liquid death. This is a lovely handful of Ravens tears. I'm just going to enjoy on the show. It's a good Monday. Boys, how are y'all doing? What have been doing better if the Ravens want, but still doing well. Tough week two, Ericsson. Lots of injuries that we're going to get to in a moment. Lots of low scoring games. I think I saw it was in the Sunday afternoon slate week one with something like 54 points per game total. And week two that Sunday afternoon slate was like 36 per game. Like it was just a cratered compared to the offense we saw in week one. Terrible betting week. Yeah, a lot of unders came through, which typically is what happens in you have one week where there's a lot of overs that hit. Things always regress to the mean and mother nature played a part as well. A lot of games there was rain, wind, etc. We had that crazy delay with the Buccaneers and Browns game that really kind of like took all the wind out of any comeback that Tampa Bay could have had on that final drive. Where I mean, again, revisit history, you know, when you're looking back at could they have made that come back. If the fans were in the stadium at the time and it was just so again, a lot of different factors are put out here. And but the fact that the Browns and Buccaneers had to go down to the wire. I mean, inexcusable by Tampa Bay, who is now 0 and 11 against the spread. And their last 11 games, which is the ongoing record. Since the Super Bowl era of when we tracked teams going against the spread. So basically, I know we talked about this on the look ahead show worm, but you could have your own treasure island. If you just bet against the Buccaneers against the spread over the last 11 games. I believe last night on the show, you said that you could find some Pirates booty. And it made me want Tampa to trade for K-Shot booty. So then we could have a real Pirates booty in Tampa. But the phrasing on this show has been elite so far. I just kind of I just just have to point that out. But anyway. But yeah, we're actually going to talk a lot about the NFC South on today's show. We have some kind of big takeaways from the week coming up. And a lot of us are hitting on at least one team in the NFC South. So we're going to be talking more about all those games. Before we get into that, though, we do need to jump into the news and notes. The real highlight of the week, frankly, if you're looking at headlines is the injuries. There was so many of them really frustrating week in terms of just watching guys go down a handful of them went back into the games. But a lot of these guys, you know, obviously did not return. I actually pulled up a tweet from Roto wire. Just because they had a lot of the names and specifically the injury. It's literally like over a dozen. So there's a lot to go through. I'm just going to read from the tweet here. So I just wanted to give them credit. Roto wire NFL. But Caleb Williams hamstring. Obviously didn't return. He had imaging today. And I actually will note that Tom Pellicera from the Ringer and Netflix did tweet out that it doesn't appear to be that serious of an injury for Caleb. And in fact, he might play. They're not ruling him out yet for this upcoming Monday. Would be surprising to me if you play as given how that looked. But I wanted to note that they have not quite ruled him out. Yeah, Jane Daniels definitely will not play any time soon. He dislocated that same left elbow again. They want Barclay left with a stinger. He did return to the game. But obviously didn't like too much upon coming back. JK Dobbins had a small hamstring issue. But we know his injury history there. Friko Dowdell with the toe did not return Aaron Jones with the knee. Jonathan Brooks with the groin. He's day to day. Giderian Price, a chest X-rays word negative there. Mike Evans, left with the hip. Shanna Hans says he's fine. Jaden Reed was carted off with the neck. The very scary injury does have movement in all his extremities. Again, I'm reading from the Roto wire tweet here with some of these updates. Alex Pierce had another injury. And he did not return on Sunday night football. X-rays were negative. But he was seen in crutches and a boot when he was leaving the stadium. Dallas Goddard with the knee. David and Joku carted off with the knee. Charlie Kohler with the forearm. Eli Rareden did not return as well. Caleb Douglas was in a walking boot after the game too. I didn't see that one during the game. Ashen Genti left his game with an ankle. He did return at the end of that game against the chargers. Argy Harvey obviously just didn't play today. He didn't get hurt today. He didn't play going into the day. I think that's all of them. And then Erickson, Mike Owen Wenu, is that pronouncing that right? He Patriots Gar, who you said was in your opinion sort of their best offensive lineman. He's probably out for the season as well. Let me catch my breath. D-Row, what's the headline amongst the injuries here for you? What's the one you want to hit on? I think the one that's most pressing to me. And we have, dude, it was insane. Just a bloodbath of a week. The injury fairy was very, very busy. The big one for me is the Jane Daniels injury. Because I think with this elbow dislocation, like obviously, because he injured it falling to the ground and trying to brace himself and had another elbow dislocation. Very similar to what happened last year. He opted for no surgery at that point. I think that he probably goes for the surgery at this point. Because obviously those ligaments are not tight. They need surgical intervention. Because if he comes back, which last time I think he missed like four games last year. If he had opts for surgery, I just want everybody to understand from everything that I've gathered from people in DMs and smarter people, medical-wise than I am. If he opts for surgery, which is, I think, probably the way that he goes, it's probably season ending. The impact of that, Marcus Mario, to being their starter for the rest of the season is massive. Because, dude, Jane Daniels looked amazing. When he was on the field, first of the cowboys in week two, he looked really freaking good and was having a wonderful game. And then this could take him out for the rest of the season. But all the rest of these are horrible. Like, Jane Reed, the neck issue. Like, again, season ending, probably. Like, at least at this point. Like, I mean, you worry most of when you get nervous system stuff, like neck and back and things and how that plays out. Now, maybe I'm wrong on Jane Reed. But, man, it looks really rough. If I was going to hit a third player here, Alec Pierce, dealing with the heel issue, like, throughout training camp, we're worried about other compensatory injuries, considering the disparity in the size of his legs, coming into this hamstring issues, other things like that. But the heel being a problem. Like, he could even bear weight on it after the game. Like, he was in a boot and on crutches. So, how long is he going to be out? And it's not like, I know they put up a crap ton of points, but thank Jonathan Taylor for that. Because the cult's passing attack does not look good. Like, Daniel Jones just looks like a younger version of Kirk Cousins right now. We should all talk about the Jane Daniels one, because that obviously is the biggest probably the most overall impactful one for fantasy, just given the players and the commander's offense, and the fact that he could be out for a very long time. You know, unlike what it sounded like with Caleb Williams in terms of the other quarterback on this list. I mean, how do you not get surgery, Erickson? Like, at this point, if this is going to keep happening, like, you can't be an NFL player who, you're worried every time they fall to the ground, they're going to accidentally re-dislocate their elbow. And it becomes more and more easy to do this. The more and more times it happens, then I feel like surgery is kind of a no-brainer. I mean, I'm not that I'm a doctor or they have any knowledge of this information, but it feels like the likely outcome here, right? I think so. If Jane Daniels is really trying to take care of himself and his future in the NFL, however, I don't think that that necessarily builds well for Dan Quinn. The head coach, who we've talked about as, it's not Aaron Glenn. That's the first head coach fired. Who are the other names on that list? Jim Harbaugh's society was one of them. Jim Harbaugh, again, is he following his brother's footsteps of fizzling out the head coach of the 10 Bay Buccaneers. Todd Bolz, another team. Again, O-11, that's not all on Baker. That's also reflective of the head coach in that you are going into these games expected to not just cover, but to win and perform well. And they have underwhelmed first expectation for 11 straight weeks. That is atrocious. Especially when you look at the roster, the Buccaneers don't have like the worst roster in the NFL. It's not like the best roster, but it's still one especially when you play in a crappy division like the NFC South, and you're losing at home against the Cleveland Browns, but the Sean Watts is a quarterback. That's just not acceptable. So I think that there's kind of like conflicting interests here, because Dan Quinn probably doesn't want Jay Dales to go on season ending on Inter Reserve, because he's trying to save his job. But if it's the Marcus Marriota show, we saw this last year, right? It's okay. It's fine. But what's the biggest thing with the commanders is their defense still sucks. It is still so horrible. And nothing has really changed. I know they added sunny styles, and he's had some plays through the first couple of weeks of this. season, but secondary is just so the Dallas Cowboys could do anything. Dak Prescott could do anything he wanted against that secondary. Like Sanderson cannot cover anybody, dude like he has regressed immensely from his rookie year where he looked like, oh, they found someone here, not the case whatsoever. CD land, George pickings, all these received through Dallas could just do whatever they wanted against the commander's defense and Dak was basically flawless in that game without a run game, right? They were just dropped back to throw every single time and the commander said no answers for it. But if the defense can't get it together, I think Dan Quinn, when you look at just the schedule for the commanders, L, L, L, I mean, if you start oh and eight, like someone's got to get asked and is it really fair to fire David Blau when war started in quarterback got hurt. But if the defense is so, so bad. So that's, again, not just reflective about Janus, which is kind of like the ripple effects of this injury compounding on, okay, this is another commander season that's potentially down the toilet and it really, really sucks because Janus such a super talented player. But now two years in a row and it's not the, oh, well, he's really slender. He likes to run. I mean, this was kind of like a free play like he trips over his offensive line and he steps on his foot on a handoff play. He's trying to brace himself. So it wasn't him being reckless and running around because I know that people always pinpoint him as out of LSU is like, this guy's really skinny. He's going to get banged up. But I mean, he to deep roast point, he was playing excellent against Dallas and he's especially using his legs. So which to your point, Erickson, like, did you notice also like, I don't know how many people caught this game and stuff. When he was out of the pocket, he was extremely careful yesterday, too. You saw him sliding way beforehand and playing very under control, like just to highlight your point here. Yeah. So, so that's kind of it for for for Jane Daniels in terms of the other injuries, um, Didaring price getting banged up. That's concerning for a rookie and just the way that the sea ox are kind of kind of operate with waiting for Zach Sherman to come back. They just kind of fed Emmanuel Wilson in the second half of that game against Arizona Cardinals with a big lead. David and Joku getting carted off the field as the Chargers injuries start to pile up. I think we didn't mention him, but Lad McConkey, the fact that the Chargers office can't do anything unless he's on the field, I that's my that's a mighty Daniel problem. We're going to talk about it later. And I don't have the exact snap counts because I just haven't looked specifically right back at that game with Lad, but he definitely was not playing a full time role. But you could tell the force of the passing game was always going through a lag whenever he did line up. I picked up like a big third third down conversion, the one drive the Chargers had that was actually good, it's because Lad was on the field. So the entire off season, they built the entire ship out of Lad and the minute that he goes down, they have no answers to change or pivot. So that's concerning when it comes to the Chargers offensive outlook, rest of season. But man, laundry list of injuries. And I do have to mention that we also suffered this in our fan tracks league because we started at Dallas, Goddard. He got hurt last week. And we are our fingers crossed on a one Mr. Pukinakua to get us out of this hall. No, dear. What do we need? Oh, dear. We need 20 points. So get this plane. We got a shot. But if not, we're going to be, uh, we're going to be swapping an old Colby Parkinson. See what we can do here. Real fast. Lad McConkey had a 67.7 percent route share yesterday. So actually that's, uh, his snap share was only 45 percent. So he was basically out there whenever they decided to throw and that was, and he was a full time player in that respect, but still not great. And then, um, these just kind of hit the timeline just for everybody, uh, to be aware of as well. Derwin James fractured pinky. He always going to play with the cast. Kelvin Banks. Again. Yes, massive loss for the normal Spain's behind ankle sprain. And the Lions get even worse on the back end of antibiotics out for the season with surgery on his foot. So the packers also lost three offensive linemen. Wow. Lee, dude. And that was not bad. Oh, but by the way, I read it in the initial list and neither of you guys hit on it. I do think it's worth mentioning, like again, JK Dobbins has a very long injury that we talked about all summer long. Should talk about the RJ Harvey did not play going into this game already, as mentioned, real runway here. I know, I know they said it was a minor hamstring thing for Dobbins. But again, we know how this is escalated for him before real runway for for Jonah Coleman. So if he is available, if you're in the shower, shallow league, absolute, obviously, biggest must add of the week off waivers. And if you, you know, if you isn't available, like, I mean, I don't know what the, if you can't even try and go trade from anything, but there's a real possibility for an early season breakout from from the rookie. So last point, before we get off injuries, and this was something I must put as my reality check, it's just a reminder of how important depth is in the NFL and how it really is staying healthy. Part of it's all out to do with luck, but also embracing the fact that, hey, we're going to get injuries throughout the season. We make sure that we have depth in those of the teams that end up being there at the finish line. It's not a coincidence. And I drop this stat, which is like talking to buddies and going on other shows. But last year, who are the two healthiest teams? Siox Patriots. It's not a coincidence that they were also the two teams that were in the Super Bowl last year. So teams are all going to deal with injuries some more than others, but it's a matter of how the depth steps up in the absence of your top playmakers. We didn't mention him as well, but Texans. No, Nico Collins. Where's the offense? Non-existent against the Cincinnati Bengals. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shulks doing his best, Brock Bauer's. Thank you very much for week two. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. How many touchdowns are they scoring? No. No, I don't disagree. I don't disagree. I'm just saying, David Montgomery had zero carries. Oh, dude. They're, they're offense like broken. Yes. I don't, I don't disagree. No, it's a lesson that we forget every summer. It feels like and then are harshly reminded of every set of every. Everybody looks so great on paper, man, like on paper. It's just like, it's like in Matt, it's like, just can we turn off injuries, please? I mean, Ravens or another example of Zay didn't play going into today. The offense looked different without him. And we pointed out in the second half of the Colts game last week, like, you lose your stars and it makes a real difference. Speaking of the Ravens, just quickly, one other bit of news that I want to mention. There are some rumors going around yesterday morning that Ravens Cowboys might have to get moved from Rio due to field conditions there. I haven't seen this as any kind of official report. This is not me trying to break news or anything. Some people that I have known in the past to be pretty well connected with the Ravens saying that the NFL is looking at maybe moving this game just to Dallas because it would be a Cowboys home game if it wasn't in Brazil. And that the field conditions in Rio are not playable. I'm just mentioning that somebody keep an eye on, maybe it was just a rumor that doesn't go anywhere. Maybe it ends up being true. But obviously that would change how we think about this game and the teams and just the travel and everything. So I wanted to at least mention that, even if there's speaking of injuries, I had a field. I mean, as a Ravens fan, I'm desperate for them to move this to Dallas. I do not want to risk seeing my team play in Brazil and because it could turn into like a giant home game, you know, turn monster hamstring monster says, hi to everybody. Well, the last time we had this app, it was the Mexico game, right? The Friday game. Yeah. Yeah. They played in Brazil. The field was like coming up in chunks. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. People were falling down all over the place. Jaden Reed had a monster game because the Eagles defensive backs were on the ground for the majority of the contest. I imagine a healthy Zay flower is trying to cover him on that. Oh, they'll hold him out. They'll hold him out. Yeah. They should hold him out. Yeah. They're pressing into skies similar to what we got when they canceled that chief's Rams game. Yeah. That was supposed to be in Mexico City and then moved it to LA and then we got one of the greatest games we've ever seen between two extremely high powered off the game went over 100 points. It was sick. So please, Jerry World, open with welcome arms, the Ravens. Come on. Let's do it. Except if it's during the day and the sun comes out, you know? It is late after the game. That is the time. Oh. It hits. It's like the glare in the batting ob when I rather would have my my team play in on the bad field conditions or get blinded by the sun. One thing from each of you, Debra, I'll start with you because I know you're going to talk about the Saints and we've waited long enough to get into this game. Yeah, dude. So, all right, few, few parts are pieces. So my, my, my first takeaway here is that the Saints win will, we'll, we'll, we'll, I can't talk. We'll win the NFC South. And I don't think that that's a hot take. I know the Panthers are also 2 and 0. I think that that's more smoke a mirrors like the Saints easily could be 2 and 0 right now. And then taking the winning versus Baltimore and taking the Lions all the way to overtime. And I still agree with Kelmore's decision to go for the win at that point. You look at their, their upcoming next few games, Las Vegas Raiders win, Atlanta Falcons, win, Minnesota Vikings, did they just put up 9 points in Kyler? What are we going to see out of him? So maybe this is a team that rattles all 3 more wins and then they get the Giants, Steelers, Browns, then they ended division game in week 10 versus the Panthers like this team has juice. Man, this defense was underrated in the offseason. They're, they're jelling Brandon Staley's doing a good job coaching that's out of the ball. And the big thing for the Saints is the Kellin Moore and people talk about Tyler Schuck. And I think the bigger 100 foot view of this is really more of a Kellin Moore conversation and his in game adjustments for Tyler Schuck and the offense. The second half of look totally different than the first half where you've had Tyler Schuck looking like he's forgotten how to play football and first, sometimes second quarter as well in the early going of these two games. And big time adjustments in the second half. So I think the Saints are legit. I think they're going to win the end. NFC South and just into this game worm, just keeping this a buck right now, I do nothing Tyler shut got into the end zone. I don't believe that at all. Well, that's because you have to functionalize. Yeah. Well, to the other side of that, the other side is why he did not get into the end zone was Rhoquan Smith almost decapitated him with the face mask that also didn't get called. So it's like the refs are just like, well, you know, we didn't call the face mask. So I guess we got to give you the touchdown, which is not what you're supposed to do according to the rule. No, I think they should have called the face mask and rerun the play. Just keep being honest here. The only thing I would disagree with what you just says, I don't know that the face mask is the reason he didn't get in. I think he like started to bobble the ball a little bit too. Regardless, it wasn't when the helmet gets pulled back in his entire body gets pulled back the clip. You can't go forward. It should have been called. I'm not saying that it was like it was the most obvious face mask of all time. I haven't seen the play. So I'm actually going to watch it and I will report back to you too. And I will tell you what's it. Yes. Yes. On that goal, I see is because it was so interesting. And again, I could not feel more strongly that he did not get in on that fourth down. Oh, I agree with you. I think he got in on third down. So it does kind of even out in the long run. I'm not 100% sure, but I think he did. I also think John Johnson might have gotten in the play before when they caught him down. So like, obviously, I think I think a touchdown was deserved in that goal line sequence. Having said that, you want to get to fourth down. The past doesn't matter. And he definitely did not get in. The other thing to you, Brian, we were talking about this a little bit before the show that really drove me nuts. And this is more just about a and officiating from a general perspective thing. The far line judge on the other side of the big scrum, almost immediately from the from so far away. And unequivocally, this guy could not see where the football was or where Shuck was from where he was standing. The closer line judge got got lining coming up doesn't make a signal. And of course, because the other guy calls, I didn't see the name, but because the other official calls touchdown, they now have to say, okay, this is a touchdown that we have to, you know, it has to be overturned, like, you know, indisputable evidence to overturn it. And like, why is he making this call so quickly? That really bothered me just from a process perspective. So I just, I'm not laughing at your pain right now. I agree with everything you said. I'm reacting to Erickson watching this clip in real time. I said that. And then I'll get Erickson's take here is the states just like clearly outplayed the Ravens in the second half of that game. So like the states deserve to win. It's not like some crazy fluke like, like, like, they, they even know that one call at the end really bothered me. The rest of the second half was very much a New Orleans victory. And again, in that goal, I'd stand earlier than the botched call they should have gotten in anyway. So I, I, the scenes earned the win for sure. I want to get Erickson's reaction to this. And then I have one more point on the Ravens that I want to make before we get to Erickson's reaction of the week. Erickson real time. What do you think? There's no way this is a touchdown. Exactly. But also the, the, the, the, no, quantum like, grab it. Like, oh, I'm surprised Tyler Schucks head is still on. I know. Speaking of neck injuries, like, dude, listen, again, ultimately the states deserve to get that touchdown. I win the game. I do not understand how that video is not considered indisputable evidence. He didn't get it. At no point is that the ball close to crossing the goal line. Again, you missed other stuff that should have been called. But literally just in terms of the letter of the law, black and white, like, is this a touchdown or not based on how they called. I, I do not understand how they said he got it. And it's, it's so, it's not even close in my opinion. I don't disagree with any of that. Before we move to Erickson's take of the week here, I have to get the real time reaction from you on this one, because I know you were really, really high on Declan Doyle coming out of week one. Does this not feel in some ways in week two? Like, we were maybe slightly Scooby-Doo'd here. Like, that was really Todd Munkin and a Declan Doyle mask in week two, because nobody can justify any way, shape, former fashion, Derek Henry, not getting the ball as much as he possibly can. And the second half, I don't understand that at all. It just feels like absolute idiocy and blasphemy. It's so weird because it, this was such, this, this game was harbock karaoke. Like, if you look at all of the lost, those frustrating, you know, fourth quarter collapses, these late game losses that the Ravens have had in the last five years, which really are the reason he harbock got fired. This was a, the same carbon copy. This was, this was 280, a replica of all of those games, including Derek Henry not getting the ball enough. He had five carries in the second half of the game. They were up 14 to three. Like, it is, it is insane that this happened again under the new coaching staff who saw that this was this sort of stuff that got harbocked. I mean, it was a bad challenge from Jesse Menter to lose a touchdown. It was Derek Henry not getting the ball. It's the defense looking great on first and second down and then never getting off the field on third down. It was, and I want to give credit to this. I really actually started, I talked about this with Erickson last night on the betting pro show of like, I don't know how much of this is the Saints being better than I expected or the Ravens being worse than I expected in this game specifically. I think truth is probably somewhere in the middle and a bit of both, but yeah, I couldn't believe it. And I don't feel the Scooby Doo mask by Declan Doyle quite yet. I still have a lot of belief in him. I mean, again, this was a Ravens team where besides Rashad Bateman, they were throwing to Lajante, Wester, Chris Moore, like, it was the, I don't know that many offensive coordinators out there besides the true elite elite best of the best are going to do a lot with that receiving room. But man, that's why you run more of the Erick Henry, but then the village idiot like could step in and call plays and say, well, we just give the ball to Derek Henry right? The Ravens offensive line is also a better run blocking unit than a pass blocking unit. I will, I will mention to Ronnie Stanley missed a lot of the second half of this game with a toe issue. He's, he's obviously been a long time solward at left tackle for them. So not having him definitely made a difference on the offense as well. But at the end of the day, just like talent, you have a Marjacks and Derek Henry, like that should be enough to score more than three points in the second half. So I, I, you know, it's a long season. We need to see more here before I'm going to make a final declaration on Declan Doyle. But it was, here's, here's why I put it as a Ravens hand honeymoon period for this coaching staff is very officially over. Now you got to show us what you got when you're not basking in the glow of refreshing change of pace. Everybody's excited. Scheme Lords coming in. You got to show it now that you could bounce back from this kind of adversity. So honeymoon period is done. I don't want to sound like Troy Ackman here, but sometimes you just got to run the damn ball. I couldn't agree more given every factor going on in that game. So yes, that was the Ravens group chats were, we're flying yesterday. So if that's not fit, I mean, on the show. Erickson, the reason we've kind of gone so long waiting to get to your big takeaway here is because you have the same takeaway. So you are in agreement on the New Orleans Saints winning the South. And I think that this was always the thesis of the play when it came to the Saints. I was hesitant to fire on them as division winners because I looked at the schedule and I looked at two road games at Detroit at Baltimore. And I didn't like their chances of winning either of those games, but I wanted to see this offense for Tyler Schrock in year two and see how they perform and the fact that they went to overtime and they almost beat the lines and then they went to Baltimore and beat the Ravens. Like that's enough for me to justify. Yeah. This team is taking a major step forward in Tyler Schrock's second season. Dude, this reminds me so much of last year with Denver Broncos, right? It's Tyler Schrock not obviously this year's bone X where you're looking at a quarterback who ton of experience coming out of college ridiculed because of how old he was. But when you have that experience with a veteran seasoned play call their life telling more with good weapons around you. Now, I think the defense is probably the biggest difference between New Orleans and Denver, but what you lose from their defensive talent perspective, you gain with how easy their schedule is. Like these were the two tough matchup for them. The rest of the way, it is like all downhill. They had the second easiest schedule before the start of the season. And that was considering their two brutal matchups to open the year. Same defense, fantasy football, pick them up because they're going to have easy game after easy game after easy game. And I think that this is a really great team in terms of betting wise, getting ahead of it. So I'm firing on them to win the NFC South. You can still get it at plus money. They are the favorites because I think the market is right. And it's sharp that the Carolina Panthers to DeBros point a little bit more smoke and mirrors. I think the Carolina Panthers being second in the NFL and points per game. 35.5 trailing only the Buffalo Bills. Obviously, it seems like Bryce tongue is continuing to take steps forward. He has improved every single year of his career. He has good weapons between Jellyn Coker and team act. The defense is not good. So they have to throw the ball a little bit more, be more aggressive. But I think it's more telling about who they have played between the Bears defense, the Falcons defense versus the Saints who have played two teams that we look at as super ball contenders between the Detroit lines. If they can never get their defense fixed. And then obviously the Baltimore Ravens, who will tell you an absolute juggernaut in week one. So I think the Saints are definitely live. And I'm locked up with DeBros. I hate to admit my DeBros right, but guys, he's right here. So what, sorry, one more quick schedule note for the Saints. They control their own destiny and week 14 through 18. They have four of those final five games are against division opponents Want to get's Carolina want to get to Atlanta to against Tampa Bay So they will they will walk into that final stretch controlling their own destiny I think like whether this isn't just patting, you know, the wind column and stuff or taking the division down and also to get Pretty talented guy back to hopefully hopefully the Jordan Tyson if they get it back That's almost like a mid-season trade that that is my that's my hope Debra, what do you think the odds should be for the Saints because I'm not surprised they're the favorites But if you look at betting pros dot com the consensus odds They're the favorites by more than I expected them to be so before they're now well What do you think they should be and then I'll tell you what they are? Okay, um, I think they should be plus 150 You're close. They're plus 130. Okay. I was thinking plus 150 because I think like the only reason they're not more or like a Minus number is the Carolina Panthers starting off two and oh Outside of that. I think you'd see that that line would be probably minus at this point Well, interestingly that Tampa is in this is looking at consensus if you look at specific books on betting pros dot com Obviously some of these are different and in fact with Tampa and Carolina some of these are flipped but on consensus overall It's plus 250 for the box plus 300 Panthers. I would take the Panthers as as the second This is not overreaction like the Buccaneers have looked horrible through two weeks. By the way, not not that it matters But Falcons are plus 800 just to complete the division not that they should be long-term They're shorter than I would have guessed The fact that what the fact that the Falcons are playing on three straight Prime like you like they got a Michael panics But are we gonna get on different quarterback? It's Packers the Ravens are in week five I forget who they play in week four in prime time. I don't know if you looked it up already, but it's I know it is three Not gonna be fun. Yeah No, yeah, I think the Saints look really good like genuinely again That was a big takeaway for me from watching that game from the Ravens perspective I was and the Saints are good like Chuck was really mobile There's a lot made of like Anthony Weaver's was calling like a poor man's Josh Allen I guess the Saints took offense to that and it was definitely meant as a compliment He's like no, this guy plays like Josh Allen. Sorry. He's not like the MVP of the league But he's you know, he's very good. It was funny that they kind of took it as an insult But yeah, like I thought Chuck's looked really good. He evaded the pressure Like he was under a lot of pressure He just evaded it very very calmly throughout that game and you know Chris Alave is a stud and it's awesome to have him healthy And producing and the defense is playing wild and I like Calamore So yeah, I I agree with you guys. I don't I don't know What these odds are gonna look like in a month, but I I think the Saints definitely should be the favorites here Giving everything we've seen. I mean you you you lose to the Browns like Tampa did like you're just eliminated from From contention in my opinion Tampa Bay we talked about as like the big or bus team and it's so clearly churning trending in the bust big-time bust where they're going with Bulls it's bulls. I mean it's bull dead men walking Bulls and Quinn for me are one A and one B in terms of coach. I expect to see fired first I think Quinn will be given a longer leash only because of Jane Daniel's injury and then You know the commanders can kind of explain this away, but I for bulls. I mean like dude like For him to keep his job like just say the rest of it like pass this season Not only do they have to have a good season they need to go in the playoffs and win at least one game At current way that they're performing. They're not even going to make the freaking playoffs like the he won't even last I mean their next few skit game. I mean, okay boys. Let's play this game Buckeneers. When do they win a game? Let's just walk the schedule Minnesota Vikings winner loss loss Hey, they're supposed to win, but They also paid Baker see that's the issue of paid Baker they should have had they should have paid Baker though I I think those are different things. I think those are different. They would have got better Baker would not lose the brands If you didn't have to contract so Green Bay Packers winner loss. I think it's I'm taking the Packers I'm not taking them to cover any of these spreads And if they're favorites in any of these games they're gonna lose I feel like that might be a like they shouldn't win, but the bucks do win that game I'm gonna call my shot and say they actually do meet the Packers and nothing the Packers are better like this Experiment is tough with the schedule because the Tampa Bay has just been so Underwhelming even when it looks like on paper that they should win again their favorites this week But like do you feel confident they're gonna win like no, I don't fuck because what have they shown over the last seven 11 weeks is None of that is all they do is fail to meet expectations Zach Robinson What like Chris Goblin is not looking like he's looking more like his age and that I got it said Looking struggling as a number one. I mean look I love Ted hers, but man like should he be the focal point of your passing offense in week two and he should leave the team in targets like probably not so It sucks, but yes, so let's just say if they keep rattling off losses after that they get the Dallas Cowboys the Steelers the Panthers Maybe we're looking at the Falcons in week eight you're they losing against the Falcons than that that might be the I mean I don't think if they keep losing like this Todd Bolz is not keeping his job like they could get in and bearist versus the Cowboys The Steelers though that offense is terrible. They could be you know the Packers at the defenses bay. You know there's They're not good. I'm not gonna be good about them in those games, but they're there are Gives it could be one and that's right they've lost to Dishon Lawson I had his game. All the time, you know, like even the Ravens blew out the Colts and then lost to the Saints But then the Colts almost beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead who had just blown out the Broncos who then the next week beat the Jags You know stuff looks different week to week, so it's this is carrying over from last year like We were like that's the big issue. I don't I don't listen I think the bucks are not very good and Bolz is live to get fired I'm just saying I don't think they're gonna go like two and 15 like there will be some wins sprinkled in just based on No, there's a fireballs. They're just so off to the side for me But let me get to what I learned this week because I actually just mentioned this team the Steelers offense is totally non-functional Ericsson. Yeah, we're talking last night about how like this Patriot defense But that's because you exhaust is not that anything special to write home about and the Steelers couldn't do anything I mean the the Mike McCarthy Aaron Rogers partnership didn't score a touchdown in this game. The Steelers have looked terrible They will it they took them getting this crazy defensive play and score to cover against the awful Falcons team That looked like the worst team in years as long as he rushes their quarterback and the Steelers did not Blow them out of the water or look all that good against them now their offense scores three points against the Patriots like This is it Rogers is taking big hits DK Metcalf is not living up to his contract and and hype Michael Pittman didn't play in this game Rico dattle gets hurt So it takes away one of this two headed running back room I just like could not have been less impressed with the Steelers offense right now to the point where it is like Like there was that tweet that went around about the commander's offensive line this summer about how it's inoperable And everybody's really helping him on that word this Steelers offense Ericsson is inoperable When the Patriots scored 14 points. I knew the game was over. I had no sweat or concern about the Steelers getting back And the Patriots offense did not look that great either. They still had a lot of issues in this game too Once they got to 14 points. I was like well Texas Scott Bob was like is it over? You're like think it is because they could not move the ball If it's as easy as you just take your best corner back and if you look at the upcoming matchup for the Steelers They face a lot of really strong number one corners and if it's as easy as like yep We take DK Metcalf out of the game with our number one corner Chick-chick here we go chitching and then you have to make guys like Jeremy Bernard and the tight ends try to beat you Really the most explosive playmaker that the Steelers had the only player that I would say besides Bernard having a couple of nice catches He didn't make a nice grab against Christian Gonzalez in Man de Man coverage was is Jalen Warren And we've already seen this before where they don't unleash him in a full-time role Because if it's not Jalen Warren or Rico Dowdell that's splitting time It's they're gonna put Travis homerun who's gonna take away snaps from Jalen Warren even though he is by far They're most explosive playmaker when they get the ball in his hands as both a rusher and receiver He was the reason they got in the red zone in the first place Like ripping off big plays out of the backfield so that's the really only way you can see it rogers Again as a downfield passer. They're being more aggressive trying to throw a ball downfield But it's not hitting and I don't think that's by accident because rogers is way past his prime So they can talk about trying to throw the ball and be aggressive High pass right over expectation through two weeks, but it's not scaring anybody. It's it's not Frightening opposing defenses and they're just an easy team to really defend against and I don't think Did we get a Patriots defense? They lost their best pass the pictures don't have a good pass first They lost dream on jones during this game and at and no point I thought man Well, the Steelers office is really starting to cook here now deep bro The Steelers have longer odds to win their division right now than the Falcons due to win theirs by consensus. No one has anything like there are there are again, there are books where that slipped. It's very close, but consensus. All of these put together. Oh, my God. Plus 800 by the way, the Raiders are also plus 800 and the Steelers are plus 850. Who knew in the year of 2026 that reuniting like McCarthy and Aaron Rogers would go poorly? And then trading for a wide receiver that considering his injury history is a little bit older than his actual government age, might not be great. Like this. Yeah, this team's got a lot of holes and problems, man. Like it did just. Absolute travesty when you build your roster continually with old and expensive veteran players and you just keep rolling in it like. Are the Steelers the new Saints? I'm asking the question where you hold on and you just keep trying to pile on veterans and expensive contracts. I'm not saying they're doing the same cooking the cooking of the books at the Saints did for multiple years. But same ethos like we're just going to try to keep competing, even though the world and reality tells us no we're going to try to keep competing. We could do it. We can wheel ourselves to victory little engine that just can't know. You know what's our last year between a head coach reunited with his veteran quarterback. We saw the Pete Carroll, Geno Smith Raiders. And they had the number one overall thing. So after one week. I because I on the betting pro show being Seth gave out our picks for like who could be the surprise like. Oh, in 17 team or team that finishes with a worse record. He picked the Falcons. I picked the Steelers. Yeah. She's a team that look, they've been eight and nine, nine and a every single year with Mike Tomlin is Mike McCarthy actually the coach that has them bottom out and not actually get above the hump versus. And if you're a Steelers fan, I got to talk to Seth and Scott Baldwin about this. Like, yeah, do like if they suck and then they get a high draft pick, they actually draft a quarterback and like move on and reset the team because to your point, the defense is old. So yes, the defense can be effective at the start of the season, but as the season progresses, that defense is going to get worse and worse and worse. And at this point, Joey, poor junior. I think he's probably going to get. Oh, he's been traded. He's getting traded. Yeah, there are so many teams that are contenders that need secondary help. Paging the Detroit Lions. I come on. First team. I thought about the minute the joy poor junior is like, dude, my back feels great. Yeah. So yeah, I need to tell everybody about this new prediction market called polymarket. All right, guys, it's got a reality check that, you know, this is sort of debating amongst each other. These conclusions. Are they actual conclusions legitimate takeaways or are they an overreaction to the weak Erickson will start with you. Seahawks still have, if not the best defense, but one of the best defenses in the NFL still and it's the reason why they're the reigning Super Bowl champions. So why they're so good at winning on the road. And it's why whether Sam Darrell is their quarterback or it's true lock is their quarterback with their elite defense with Jackson to the jibba as the engine to their passing attack. They lost their starting running back, they don't know what's actually going to come back. It doesn't matter. Like this team finds a way to win wherever you play football, because Mike McDonald is such a good coach, especially on the defensive side. So they're going to continue to keep stacking up wins. And they're going to continue to show people why they are the reigning Super Bowl champions. Yeah. D. Bro, this is like a very easy, just yes, legitimate conclusion. I felt kind of this way even coming into this weekend that just kind of further affirmation of it. Like Erickson and I talked about this last night on taping the betting pro show. But I keep bringing this up. Mike McDonald in year three, running at the same defense. We haven't seen before. He's been amazing in years one and two at multiple stops now. We don't know how we get to see a group of players that is really familiar and are sort of veterans in this game. And the team that I would have made the greatest case to match this defense this season has been that was the Texans who have not played up to that level. So the fact that the Texans who I expected to be the best defense haven't been there. The see ox have basically just been running back this elite defense that we've seen the last couple of years. I do think they're the best defense in the NFL this season, barring like injuries down the line. I think they're kind of an easy choice, honestly. Yeah, I don't disagree. And right now, looking at their schedule, they got the commanders next this upcoming week, the win that game, they got the chargers, the win that game. Hopefully, maybe they get Sam Darnold back in time for a stretch against the 49ers Broncos and chiefs, which it sounds like his timetable. He should be back for those games like for week five. But just to put some other context on how good Seattle's defenses, dude, every single metric you pull up, fourth best in EPA per play, second best in the EPA per drive, eighth best in EPA per dropback, second best in the EPA per rushing play allowed like they're just fantastic at every single part of the defense. So yeah, I don't disagree, and especially like when you take up like the other team that like was in the running in the conversation or saying breath is them. And the Texans like we talk about year over year volatility, especially on the defensive side of the ball can be massive. We're seeing this play on a real time for the Houston Texans like as a team that look like they were up there in the Seattle Seahawks like realm of being one of the best defenses like elite able to take over a game. We have not seen any shred of that through two weeks of football. So yeah, big concerns in Houston, but also yeah, got to give the Seahawks flowers and drew lock who played really well. And I know it was the Cardinals, but he played well yesterday. Man, besides McVeigh, I can't think of another coach. I'd rather have you know, starting off a team right now than Mike McDonald. He's just so, so, so elitist straight up. I'll put you on the spot here, warm. If you got your choice right now, Jesse Minter or McDonald, who you taking? If the Ravens could take one of them. McDonald's. I just, I have to hear it. All the Ravens fans and all that matter. They didn't fire Harbaugh earlier and then cut a cat. I don't disagree with when McDonald left. I remember saying to friends, because I was I was late to the. It's time to move on from Harbaugh train, but I do remember saying like if there is ever a guy when a move on from Harbaugh from to higher. It's to keep Mike McDonald in town. Like I felt this way before he was a head coach. I obviously he's won the Super Bowl. He's been amazing. Like, yeah, it's not even close. I didn't see so many. They said, um, because the charges defenses look so bad. They were like, we might be seeing a repeat here of a Harbaugh losing their young hot shot defensive coordinator. And then that team kind of realizing, oh, maybe that's who they should have kept in the building instead. Which leads us nicely, deep row into your reality check. Buckle up everybody. The chargers were they the most overrated team all summer during the off season, because through two games, all of the concerns that I have about this team in the cold water that I threw on this team in the off season has absolutely been real. Jesse mentor covered up a ton of sins on the defensive side of the ball. So they're at their leaky own defense. Harbaugh as a CEO head coach is not a difference maker so far. And my Daniel was one of the most over hyped and fraudulent play callers this off season. I mean, everything I threw out the tweet in the off season where it was like the Miami dolphins. If you look at really just the Tyree kill of it all with him on the field for the Miami dolphins during McDaniel's tenure down there, top 10 offense, regardless of whatever you look back, EPA per play, EPA per drop back, take Tyree kill out of the mix, 23rd or worse, and basically every offensive success rate thing that you can look up. Lad McConkey, fine, you want to run your passing attack through him. I get it. Fine. Cool. Do that. When he's not in the game or he's limited, the offense cannot be broken. And Justin Herbert, how many years in a row are we going to make excuses? Oh, it's the offensive line. Oh, it's the injuries. Oh, it's the play calling. Oh, it's all this stuff. When are we just going to get to maybe Justin Herbert just dramatically overrated. Like, you know, and I'll just throw it out there. J 100s is a better quarterback than Justin Herbert just toss us on top of all this. But I had, and just to put a bow on this too. I'm already in Hampton being a questionable fit for the run game scheme that McDaniel wants to run all a part of pieces. It's not good guys. And again, we want to talk about like I'm not saying I do nothing. They will fire Harbaugh, but walking the charger schedule. When does this team get a win? They get the bills, the Seahawks, the Broncos, the chiefs, the homes looked awesome last time, by the way, the Rams, the Texans, the Ravens. I'm not saying they go winless as an entire stretch, but week 11 versus the jets. Are they the most overrated team this like this offseason that we that most people hype to hell him back. And it's looking rough right now guys. I'm wondering who else Erickson is in contention for this title of most overrated team because obviously the chargers I think apply given that this is. team that's 11 games, two straight years. Jim Harba is a very strong reputation. There were people out there saying that this is their year, obviously. And then the offense specifically with us being in the fantasy space was incredibly hyped. Who else? Who else is here? Because a lot of the teams that are off to bad starts are teams we expected to not be very good. Or you look at a team like Houston that's off to an O and two star. I don't want to call them over hyped yet because they've played a very good bills team and a very good Bengals team. So who else is if the Rams lose versus the Giants are the only team that we haven't seen the play at tonight obviously. But no, I I don't think there it's really up for debate who the most over 18 because you have to take the context of who they played to start the year. Like this was the easy part of their schedule. Like this is like this is why I wanted to bet Chargers futures because I thought they were going to start out to know. And then I was going to reassess how I felt about them entering this stretch where it's absolutely brutal. It's a juggernaut. And I knew about this when it came to the Chargers. And I was like, right, when we entered a week three, maybe we looked to cash out. Now I'm just like, hope and I can just get pennies on the dollar for all my Chargers futures and invest it in the Saints. Like that's like what I'm basically going to try to do because yeah, you don't have a lot of confidence. And I think that the point about Mike McDaniel without Tyree Kill, I think is very astute that Deepur brought up. And I think if you just even recall those games and when he didn't have to and he was playing with a backup quarterback, when Mike McDaniel has been put in positions where he doesn't have everything to work with, these offenses have struggled. And as great as it looked in week one on that first drive when Lama Conkey was absolutely cooking, when he missed his time, oh no, like things are starting to crumble here. You also have the injury to Tyler Biotish in the offseason center. I know sometimes you overlook it because well, the tackles are back. Joe all did not play well in this last game. His back's crossby. Like he was getting penalized. He was holding max crossby, giving up a safety. Like it was all over the place. The total mess. So it's always great to again, on paper, put these tackles back in, but when guys come off season anything injuries, sometimes they aren't as good. You know, we impact it when it comes to quarterbacks and skill position players, but maybe that's something that again, speaking personally, obviously the market was high on the chargers. I was on the chargers. Again, talking about I got future tickets on the chargers, which I don't feel good about whatsoever, because the schedule is really tough. So maybe if the lack can get back to 100%, you can start to see this offense bounce back a little bit, but the creative design from this team and honestly, the execution's been pretty poor too. Like they've making fumble, like home of Hampton, it's fumbled and back to back games. The entire team looks out of sync. It looks like they put a lot of pieces together with no plan, really, except for Lab Mcconkey. And he's the guy that's missed the most time of the top receivers. Like where is Quentin Johnson? Where is Tray Harris? Like where are the tight ends? Like what is happening here with guys trying to step up? Nobody has stepped up, and that includes Justin Herbert. So I agree with you, right? I think that this is spot on just to just to put like the specifics of this. So 2022 to 2025 with Tyree Kill on the field, EPA per play for the dolphin, seventh best, EPA per drive, sixth best, success rate, 10th best without Tyree Kill in those same three categories, 27th, 27th, 23rd quickly. It's just because it's dropped in the timeline from shifter, Caleb Williams, expected to miss some time per Ben Johnson, but looking like a week to week thing. So a positive report earlier from palace, they're still generally positive from Ben Johnson there, but I do want to get deep. So deep, I know it because you like to badge in. So what do you expect? So just quickly, because you just mentioned to Caleb, when some badge and it's going to start probably for at least this week, maybe a couple more weeks, you like badge in a lot. Does this bear's offense just, is this like a buying opportunity for all bears? Because it's like, oh, no, no, Caleb is like, we're screwed or you're like, no, man, I think this office can still cook. The defense still sucks. Like, what's your kind of take with badge and it's cubie one? I think Tyson Beijing can keep the offense on schedule. Like, I think that he's one of the best backup quarterbacks in the NFL. And I know that's not like saying a ton, but I think that he's going to run the offense. And I think that he can keep them on schedule and be accurate and stuff. And I'm not taking anything away of him getting tossed into the last week's game and hurry up against some defense and prevent and what have you. I'm not taking it as well. Yeah, exactly. It's hard enough to get thrown to the game, let alone against the madman. Yeah. That's that is Brian Flores. Absolutely. So I think Beijing can keep this offense on schedule. And good Lord. Can Ben Johnson quit Ben Johnson and being too cute? Can he just like run the offense through your best freaking players? It's not that complicated. It really isn't. Run the offense through coast and lovelin. Roman Doonsay and Luther Burton. Can we stop with all his relief, Raymond mess? Can we stop like, I just, I don't understand. It just feels like Ben Johnson is pulling his best, like, I'm going to show everybody how freaking smart I am. And it's like, well, you're kind of actually showing everybody how not great you can be too. My reality check, you guys said a couple of easy ones. Well, we're all kind of agree. But yeah, yeah, you're right about this. I wonder what you're going to think about this one. Bryce Young is a long term franchise quarterback. Maybe it's kind of how I put it because I don't know if it's true. Again, this is a reality check. You tell me if this is a conclusion or an overreaction. He's been very good statistically here to start the 2026 season. He had, you know, 361 yards and three touchdowns. And we want also ran for a touchdown to 87 and three touchdowns in week two. He was in fantasy, QB three in week one, QB six through most of the games here in week two. Now this went up against a very bad Bears defense and a Falcons defense that has been treaded by Bryce Young historically. Zero pass rush as well. Yeah. Zero pass rush. So that's in the back of my mind here. But he has looked good just watching the games. I have been impressed by Bryce Young even in, you know, easier circumstances for a quarterback to navigate. So I'll start with you Erickson is Bryce Young a long term franchise quarterback. I'm still going to say no because I think that best case scenario is he is the 14th 15th 16th best quarterback in the NFL. And that's the exact guy you don't want to pay to be middle of the pack to never really get over the hump. Him having good games or having high end games is not anything new. Like he's done his performance. He's had good matchups in the past when he's had his weapons healthy. And to his credit, I think that he has improved every single year of his career. You just look at his just season long statistics from his rookie year to his second year to his third year. Everything goes up and up up. Completion percentage touchdowns passing yards. Everything improves for him and it's no. I don't think it's crazy to think that he's having his best year so far when he has both his top two receivers healthy and ready to go. Like team act and Jalen Coker are one of the most underrated dynamic duo is that wide receiver in the NFL right now. They're combining for nearly 50% of the teams targets. There's really no one else on this offense that's commanding a high target jerk except for Darren Waller in the red zone. So I do think though that it does have to do with the opponents. I know that Rich Rebar actually brought up a stat entering week one where when you look at Bryce Young in the games where he's played with a high total. He just has monster performances in these really high total games. So I think this week playing on the road at Cleveland, a defensive place much better at home than on the road. I think that this is probably a better litmus test of okay. Has Bryce Young really taken that step forward? Now you're playing on the road, hostile environment versus playing at home because they've been at home the first two or was last week in Atlanta? It was in Atlanta too. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Yeah. So Atlanta still an opponent that you're not necessarily super afraid of. I think Cleveland's defense might be able to throw a little bit more than they've embraced the last two weeks. So if they're Cleveland defense doesn't travel like, you know, play better at home this year. You know, new coach except for everything. His next two weeks are Cleveland and then home against Detroit. Very banned of defense. So that's not like a matchup room. Yeah. Debro quickly where you at him, Bryce Young. I think it's more smoke amirs than fact about him being a franchise quarterback. Like I think the window dressing of the box scores and the matchups is really painting a much more positive picture because when you pull open the hood and shout out to the people over at a fantasy points data for this, like, bro, his other metrics on a per drop back basis are God awful. Like right now amongst 30 or 28 qualifying quarterbacks right now. One, he has seen a macular pockets. He has faced the eighth lowest pressure rate. But if you look at his accuracy metrics amongst those 28 quarterbacks, Bryce Young has the fourth highest off target throw rate and the second lowest highly accurate throw rate and the second lowest catchable target rate. The only quarterback, unfortunately, and shout out to Fitzee, unfortunately, I'm sure his ears are burning right now and I've mentioned this. The only more inaccurate quarterback right now in the NFL right now is Jordan Love. So I think we're more likely going to see, especially like, dude, Bryce Young's also been chucking a deep in the volatility of that is you're going to see regression with that too. Just over the long haul because right now like he's top 10 in deep all rate, too. So if he's this inaccurate, he's living off of downfield throws, eventually like if none of that counter acts itself, he turns back into a pumpkin with tougher matchups and he's actually going to face pressure. So yeah, I think it's more fiction. Let's get into our final segment of the show here. We've run long just with all the injury updates we had to get through the show. So we'll keep this a little shorter. We want to sort of do a two week check in on Super Bowl odds and just have a general conversation looking at what those consensus odds are on BettyPros.com who's too high to love who belongs in here that's not in there. So I'll read through the odds here. Again, these are the consensus odds. You can find different numbers at different books. Of course, the Rams plus 650 The bills plus 750 then Seattle and San Francisco are plus 1100 action. I'm sorry I skipped Baltimore is still plus a thousand so they're a third actually and then it's two teams at plus 1100 each the two NFC West teams then at plus 1200 we have the chiefs plus 1500 the Eagles plus 1700 the Bengals and then there are three teams at plus 2,000 that's the Patriots the Broncos and the Lions again These are the consensus odds on betting pros dot com. So That's in order that's actually the top 11 because of the tie there at the plus 2000 Debra is there anybody that you feel like is in this conversation that doesn't belong anybody that's not in this conversation that does belong What changes would you make here? I Think considering what we've seen out of the Patriots so far Their odds are probably okay, but I'm more lean on that they're not really in this conversation for me Just I mean we can talk about the Drake May regression all of that kind of stuff I think AJ Brown missing a ton of time is the biggest factor for me as well as the defensive side of the ball stuff I do not think the Rams after one game, and I know it's just one game They should still be the freaking favorite. I think Buffalo should be the definitive favorite or 2d after last night Patrick my home looks really good and spax is firing on all cylinders Kenneth Walker looks like he is unlocked and revolutionized that offense like what he brings to the table It looks like this was the missing piece maybe for Andy Reed having that type of Explosiveness in the backfield and the basking utility that Walker has provided them. I could see a world where you know after week three the Kansas City Chiefs Or the Buffalo Bills are tied for the the best Superbowl odds I also think that The Denver Broncos are at a real like interesting tipping point like if their defense does not improve they played much better in week two But with the bow nicks of it all he still look pretty rough for like stretches of that game But that again overarching takeaways of you know a lot of those teams where there's still a lot of football Let's be played a lot of things to kind of shake out if we were to kick out the Patriots from this top 10 some of the teams that are just Outside in terms of consensus odds the Jags are at plus 2200 the Texans are at plus 2200 the Cowboys are at plus 2500 Those are the next three up in odds. You like those teams more than the Patriots any of them in particular the Texans are not a real Superbowl contender with the way their defense is playing I mean you want to talk about just the offense can sink them and CJ Stroud can sink them. They're not a real Superbowl contender I fully believe that and maybe that's proven wrong I think the Jags should be higher in odds no doubt like Trevor Lawrence looks really good in the first half of week two now He fell apart In in the back half of that game against the Broncos But I think also going back to how he looked at the back half of last season as well as week one I think the Jags should be given more respect as a Superbowl contender than they're getting right now Erickson, what are some of your takeaways here? I tend to agree with DRO in terms of like some of the teams at the top Maybe I'm less like the Rams. I mean it was one game They have yet to play a game on US soil this season as at the time of we're taping this like I don't want to overreact But you know the injury to my miles Garrett is not nothing and Safford did look, you know old again after a long flight in that first game and So plus 650 doesn't feel like the great price on them chiefs at plus 1200. I think Six weeks from now we might look back and say I can you believe we were able to get the chiefs at that at that price if My homes continues to look more healthy and Walker continues to be awesome that defense continues to be good Seattle like defending champs best defense in football at plus 1100 isn't I think the nighters if they stay healthy I've looked really fantastic to see your bangles. It looks great plus 1700 So it's those it's a teams in that like three to seven range that I find myself most interested in What are your takeaways from these this ranking? Yeah, I agree with a lot of the points you guys made on a couple different fronts I think that the chiefs right now are definitely worth a Super Bowl sprinkle especially at 12 to 1 These odds are never this long for a patch my homes Andy Reed squad and I was definitely wrong about them I thought that this was going to be more of a recent rebuild type of year But the way that my homes is looking I've seen enough We're like I don't need to be convinced that this guy is kind of already back and if they can just improve the passing game from More consistent stay awake as a run game looks like it's gonna be top five all season with Ken Walker running the show and Emma Johnson Even if Walker misses a couple games with an injury and we know he's gotten baked up in the past me like Do Emma Johnson was putting guys in the shadow realm last night? Dude he was making awesome like and you just think dude all these teams the running backs and None of them draft Emma Johnson fit around fifth round makes literally no sense You have these teams like the Tennessee Titans and the Minnesota Vikings drafting guys like Claymore and Nick Singleton When you have Emma Johnson is like staring you in the face like it be like you're starting bell cow back when you only have Free agent running backs for next year on your roster and none of them decided to take a shot at Emma Johnson But you know, that's why those teams stay bad and that's why the chiefs are always at the top So yes, I think the chiefs right now are definitely live especially with the way the chargers are trending in the wrong direction I agree with Debro bonix has looked shaky through two games. It was better in week two and it is a new play collar So maybe with some time Jay the wall obviously had a massive game But I agree to with the jaguars being too short here especially because their odds right now are longer than the Patriots But they play the Patriots this week and They're pretty sure if they're gonna beat the Patriots Especially they're playing at home. I think they should beat the Broncos They were winning for the majority of that game now kind of fell off in the second half like Debro was talking about But I did not look at that game and think oh man, the Jaguars have way overmatched here I felt like it was Jaguars kind of blew this game I thought that they should have gone in and beat Denver and Denver should be o and two and the Jaguar should be two and o going home To face the Patriots entering potentially a three and o type of start So again, you're gonna lose games that you should have won and vice versa It all kind of comes out in the wash But those are some teams for me and in the last team I'll mention since the 90 Bengals. I was gonna Yeah, yeah, they're two and o and their offense has not really been the reason why they've won games like they're the one team that invested in defense of personnel and is actually seeing the Benefits of those defensive upgrades where all these other teams are kind of waiting Hey, we're trying to get this thing to gel here. That is not in the case the Bengals have gotten the benefits immediately from all the additions they've made from drafting players High the draft from having a trade like a Dexter Lawrence I think that this is making a big difference for them and then when you get the offense cooking as They get more reps with Joe burrow tea against a Jammar chase you get those guys going do this team can beat anybody if Joe burr is fine and all cylinders and then you have an average defense that can actually generate pressure create turnovers Yeah, the Bengals are another team that when you go into January It's a team that nobody wants to face because Joe burr has been there before and he can beat anybody He's the only only quarter back in the AFC who's been there besides my homes like like the Allen and Lamar have not done it in January and in for different reasons between the two of them, but they have not been there before Since he has Plus 1700 like they're the a distant fourth in odds of the AFC teams to win the Super Bowl I would rather bet on them than any AFC team other than the chiefs right now I plus 1700 to win the Super Bowl. I just think those numbers are too long I wouldn't be like they're roughly even with the Ravens to win the division in at some books And yet the Ravens are plus a thousand consensus odds in the Super Bowl and the Bengals are plus 1700 that doesn't make sense to me The Bengals have been the better team through two weeks of the season So on top of that two arm on top of that two arm. This is a market inefficiency. This is a mark this is a market inefficiency Yeah, because I'm like you kids and these market inefficiencies Hey, 15 miles on the snow to make this bet. Okay on the Cincinnati Bengals to do the damn thing because If you look at again the market inefficiency tell me how it makes any sense The Bengals are that far of Super Bowl odds yet when we flip over the cards right now Joe burrow is tied with Lamar Jackson for the second best MVP odds That doesn't make any sense He's tied with him a plus 850 only behind Josh Allen, but then the Bengals Super Bowl odds are that long Come on the last thing I'll say on this Super Bowl. That's conversation is and I mentioned them when I first was breaking this up Man defending Super Bowl champs. They're gonna get Sam Darnold back plus 1100 Yeah, and the Rams look very gettable if you told us a month ago that the Rams were not gonna be the team But they we thought they were Seattle would have been a heavy favorite to come out of the NFC It was those are the clear two best teams in football and most people's opinion So if you're if you are thinking that the Rams are a little bit overrated and aren't going to I'm not saying they're terrible But they won't live up to that very high expectation from the summer Seattle has a very very Nice walk to the Super Bowl from the NFC and like when was the last time a team other than Prime, you know MVP level Stafford did anything against his defense, right? Like the only times they this defense ever looks bad is when McVeigh and Stafford are in their bag If Stafford another your older right or Puka's issue or whatever and that's no longer a major threat Holy cow like no, I don't know how anybody's scoring on the Seattle defense and and they're plus a left the fourth best odds consensus That seems crazy to me. I want to go back right now on a chiefs Seahawks Super Bowl matchup I don't know what those odds are, but yes, that's I I want to go put money on that time You get to get some long shots the portfolio especially when you get makes the whole year, baby.
