Welcome, my name is Lauren and in today's meditation we will be doing a journey, a visualization into a forest cottage. In many of my meditations, there is unpacking of some thought. This one is simple and straightforward. This one is just about relaxation, taking a break from a thought and from life. The aim of this meditation is your sleep. When you are ready, when you are prepared, you have a set intention. You are wearing comfortable clothing. We will begin, sit down or lie down comfortably and we will begin. Find a comfortable lying position or seated position. Align your body. Laying on your spine. Strange on your spine your back. Your eyes are closed. Eyelids heavy. Take a few deep breaths in and out. Inhale and exhale. Without expectation, the way the breath is is okay. It's all right. Now the pattern of breathing you have now. Inhale in through your nose and exhale through your mouth or breathe and soots you in this moment right now. As you breathe, allow your body to relax. Allow your physical form to unwind, to release and let go of any tension. You may have any stress you may be holding onto. Let it go. Let the stress go. Release the tension. Continue to lengthen the spine. Roll the shoulders back, let go, relax. Breathe. Release. Let go. Unwind. Allow the pauses. Allow yourself to pay. Now imagine that you are standing in the clearing in the woods. Your legs are short with the part. Your shoulders are back. Your chest is lifted. Ever so slightly. Your face is tilted slightly towards the sunlight. You can feel the sun on your face. You can experience a wisp, a breeze, a gentle wind. Surrounding you are tall trees. Their leaves are rustling gently in the breeze. You sit. You imagine you visualise this moment. This moment of sanctity, this moment in nature. Tall trees. You are standing, feeling relaxed, enjoying the sunlight, the wind, the rustling, the earth beneath your feet. You are safe, secure. It's okay. In front of you you see a little cottage made of stone and covered in green with ivy. The cottage is small, small and cozy with a touch roof and a chimney puffing smoke. You watch the smoke coming from the chimney rising up. You watch the pillows of smoke rise up and slowly become wisp and then disappear. You stand in this moment. You feel at peace. You look at the cottage and you notice the stone. You see how the stone is placed together almost like a jigsaw puzzle. You marvel at the creative work. You can see how all the stones fitted together. Almost perfectly, you decide to walk towards the cottage, one step at a time. You place one foot in front of the other. You concentrate on the sensation of stepping, one step at a time. As you approach the cottage, you notice the sweet smell of flowers in the air, sort of flowers at ease. You enjoy the aroma of the flowers. You can hear the sound of a gentle stream bubbling nearby. You can hear the chirping of birds, several birds. You look around and you see the birds playing, moving, flying. You stand in front of the door of the cottage. You look again at the stone, placed on top of each other, one brick at a time. You reach out with your hand and you touch the stone and feel the cold, cool texture of the stone and you feel with your fingertips between the stone and marvel about how the stone fits together. You continue in this way, touching the stone. You notice the door. You run your fingers over the wooden door, you feel the texture of the wood. You enjoy touching the wood. You place your hand on the door handle, you turn it, you open the door and you step inside the cottage, you step inside the cottage and close the door behind you. You feel an immediate sense of pace, a sense of pace and what else do you feel, it's a sense of calmness, an emptiness like all your problems occur. You sit, imagining visualizing this cottage, standing inside, you allow time to pass. The inside of the cottage is warm and inviting with a grappling fire in the fireplace. You walk over to the fireplace and you touch the mantle with your hands. You run your hands along the wooden mantle, again marveling at the texture of natural wood. You listen to the grappling, so calming, so calming, so gentle, gentle, peaceful. On the walls are shelves filled with books. Look at the books and you reach out and you run your fingers down the spines of several books, one book at a time. You enjoy the texture of touching the books and you see a comfortable armchair sits in the corner of the room. The floors are made of polished hardwood, and there was a soft rug covering the centre of the room. You stand on the soft rug and with your toes you feel the texture of the rug, so comfortable, the grappling fire, the beautiful books, the shelves, the mantle pace, the mantle pace, the rug, the cozy room. You take a moment or perhaps several moments to explore the cottage. You walk around the cottage, slowly one step at a time. You notice the little things, the small details. You feel the pace for energy emanating from this space. This ambient space, this space that surrounds you, this space that protects you. This space which heals you. You look at the armchair and you walk over to the armchair and you allow yourself to sit down and sink into its soft cushions. You place your hands on the arms of the armchair and feel with each of your palms the texture of the fabric beneath your fingers. Ah, it's so comfortable. As you sit in the armchair in front of the crackling fire, you allow yourself to sit down you allow yourself to feel a sense of healing and restoration, recovery, reflection. You breathe in and breathe out one of those relaxed breaths. Like a sigh that feeling of "Ah-ha, it's okay." You imagine you feel that any stress, any tension you may be carrying is just released. Let go. And your mind and your body are becoming more and more relaxed. You sit in this present moment, enjoying, experiencing, relaxing, relaxing. So secure, safe, peaceful, ambient. In this space, you may take a few breaths. You may breathe through your nose and exhale, through your mouth, or you may breathe anyway, which suits you. The crackling fire, the beautiful fireplace, the woven rug, the comfortable armchair, the bookshelves, the old books. You see items upon the shelves, what do you see? You enjoy what you see, you notice one item upon the shelf at a time. You take in the item, you notice the item in intricate detail every detail. The fire flickers, you notice the fire is gradually burning out, disappearing. You notice the glow of the Ampest, it's growing dark. You look out the window and you enjoy what you see. You look into the forest, all is calm, it's time to sleep. It's time to sleep, time to heal. You see the trees gradually waving, this way and that way, a gentle breeze. The sun goes down, sunset. The room is warm, the armchair comfortable. The ember is glowing, the room is dark, you feel safe, you notice how you feel. You allow yourself to carry this sense of pace and calmness with you. As you continue to be in this moment, safe, secure, quiet. Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, sleep now. You are safe, perhaps you like to say to yourself in your mind's eye, I am safe. You feel safe. You notice how you feel. You allow yourself to carry the sense of pace and calmness with you. As you continue to be in this moment, safe, secure, quiet, peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, sleep now. You feel safe, you notice how you feel, you allow yourself to carry the sense of pace and calmness with you. As you continue to be in this moment, safe, secure, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, Perhaps, perhaps you'd like to say to yourself in your mind's eye, my, um, safe.
