Well, he's put out a challenge to us, an ALS challenge to, you know, basically, you know, point out the fact that CJ2K's situation and we have to do the ice bucket challenge and that has led us into a situation here where myself, Joel, Van, Billy, we all have to take a video of ourselves dumping ice on our heads. This was a 2014, I believe, trend around the same time. Maybe, maybe that was when it was, something like that. Like 2014, but it's coming back. Yeah. So Danny has called us out and now we have to one do these videos and then two figure out our strategy here. So Joel, I know that I pushed back a little bit, but you know, we all have to do this. Tate is like, Tate is like, yeah, yeah. So I wrote us out now, you know, we have to do this. So like, like, you can't do it like that, Tate, you have to be excited to be a part of raising. I'm excited. I'm excited for ALS, bro. You don't sound like at all. I did it before. Well, that I was going to say the word is he's like, I think I have the old video. Can I put that one out? Yeah. I think the awareness is more important on this donation because the awareness has the chance to start a fire of awareness around the problem that can do more than the fucking $50 that you sent them when you was giving money. I sent a hundred. Come on. Oh, no. So I'm saying to Virgil, we're going to do this. Now I will say this though, ask you a question and we can move off of it. And maybe it's just the reason why you don't want to do it. Okay. I don't have sensitive nipples. Oh. A lot of times, like, there was this guy that played ball with me back in the day, day, Ryan day. And then like, yeah, exactly if you get the ice bucket, like he never wanted to go swimming because the water would be cold and he would be like, it would make his nipples hurt. And I had never heard. Wait. They would hurt. Oh, I thought they would make his nipples hurt because he said that he would get in the cold water. At first, we just thought he couldn't swim. He was like, I don't like to get in the cold water and swim because it makes my nipples constricted. And then it hurt. And maybe if you don't have, if you have the sense of nipple situation, Tate, you don't want to do the ice bucket challenge because the ice bucket water going to get on your nipples and then they're going to constrict and you're going to have some pain. Is that why this is happening? Well, man, no, look before your answer, Tate, my theory was that you had your ex girlfriend who was on the moped with you down the water over you. No, no. And you didn't want to resurrect that because now you've moved on in life. You know, I'm saying you're trying to make an honest man to yourself and you're speaking on nipples. Is it that? And John would tell me about Rush Limbaugh. And John would be conservative because this is the seventh grade. And so I would wake up in the morning and watch Rush Limbaugh. I would wake up in the morning like 6 a.m. Baton Rouge and watch Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh would be talking about like different shit that he wanted to do. He'd be completely disin, Chelsea Clinton, the whole night. He got a little picture of a dog. He would call Chelsea Clinton the dog and all that stuff. It was really a vial, vial human being. Well, when he was doing that, now these guys came to the door. Canvasing for Bill Clinton, like central casting, like white guy probably early to mid 30s, glasses, hat on it, that said, green piece legitimately central casting. And they're canvassing in our neighborhood for Bill Clinton. And he's coming into a black neighborhood. He probably thinks he's having a home game. He gets to the door, 12 year old van gets out there with all of these talking points that I'm getting. Right from right. Man, look at you. I get it straight up going crazy. I'm like talking about this. I'm talking about Reagan it. This guy is fucking on his face going, what the fuck is going on? My mother thought this was funny. She knew that it went last. Bill Belichick. I'll ask you, do you think that Bill Belichick? The rest of these coaches is pretty straightforward. Although I wonder if the financial situation with Mike Novel makes him being let go a realistic scenario here anytime soon. I guess there is a breaking point that they we will in the pay that I don't know what the financial situation is with the FSU kind of higher ups. But are you surprised that Bill Belichick will be listening on this after one season of coaching? I'm not surprised because it gets the clicks, you know what I mean? I also do think that he is in a situation where it was so bad last year that even if they win six games this year and make a, you know, a bowl game, the enthusiasm has been sucked out of the building. And I think Jordan has been doing the sucking and she has taken out. I said the enthusiasm. Coming down what LLS challenge he's going straight for what day? What the fuck is going on with that? There was so much excitement. There was such a build-up remember last year, Labor Day, TCU game, you know, he sits down with Nick Saban at the desk, Saban's talking about how this North Carolina situation reminds him of when he went back to Alabama. Nick Saban didn't have a great first year at Alabama. People forget that. But again, Bill Belichick, I think he's fairly on this list, but I don't think that he would be fired after this season. I think he gets at least three years. So, you know, I'm not shocked by it, but it is wild to see how far we've come from what we were last year at this time. I agree. I mean, I do think, and the thing is I think they have to give him. I guess it depends on how bad it gets, right? Because, like you said, there's no energy, but they have a whole new freshman day. I mean, they decided, you know, your boy, Lombardi decided, okay, we're going to try some different shit. We're going to recruit a lot of high school players. Why everybody else is getting old. Well, that extends the leash. That's what I'm going to say. It may give them another year to pull this grift off, but I don't know, man. So, maybe it depends on how low they can go, but I just can you sacrifice your program for three years. Like, they need it to get better and get better quickly. And I mean, I don't know, man, I don't know if I don't know Bill and shit got it. You know, I think the hottest hot seat on this list is. Yeah, please. I think it's Lincoln Riley. Me. Wow. Let me tell you why. I think the hottest hot seat is Lincoln Riley, because if you look at the rest of these coaches with the exception of Mike Norvel and maybe Luke fickle, these coaches are coming from programs that aren't high profile college football programs, right? So like there, there is obviously a fan base and an entity of a fan base and a culture that surrounds all of these things. But the one team on this list, that is a gigantic national brand that has everybody looking at them to where when he was brought there, he was brought there to recapture the P Carol glory days of SC. This was supposed to be the move that was going to make SC not just relevant again, because they were pretty relevant, even when they weren't winning at the level that we used to be accustomed to them winning. But they were supposed to make them power a power like the rest of these coaches aren't really going to have their jobs litigated by the national press as much. Maybe Luke fickle. Yeah, we can. Maybe Luke fickle does. For whatever reason, what's going on with Florida State hasn't kind of made that type of news in terms of being that type of soccer. Florida State still remains Florida State. But I think the coach right here that's going to feel this pressure gaming, game out, we can wink out, it's going to be Lincoln Riley. Yeah, I can see that. I mean, because it's funny, you actually took the two that I picked, USC, a Florida State. And yeah, I mean, this, I guess the thing you could say about Lincoln Riley this year is that so you got a senior quarterback who is a, you know, early, early round NFL prospect. You've got an expensive defensive coordinator and Gary Patterson. You've got this huge, these great recruiting class. I mean, if it's not going to happen now, when is it going to happen? Yeah. So I could totally see USC fans being like, I mean, so they've got on their schedule, they've got Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana and Penn State. And it's like, what do you think they go on that four game stretch? The SC to me is still, I'm not copying out of the question. SC to me is still has the capability to be one of the biggest boom teams in college football. I don't think that they can bust. I don't think that they will bust. I don't think that, I think that Lincoln Riley has kept them from having the disastrous four win three win season, right? I don't think that'll happen. But them busting for their fan base is winning eight or nine games. That's a, that's a bus season for them. So I don't think that they'll be a complete failure. But I do think that if things come together and with everything that they got going on and the people that they're bringing back, that they could be a really, really competitive team. So I kind of don't know like how to call it. I don't know what I expect SC to be. SC could be a legitimate contender or they could just kind of be what they've been before, which is an interesting team to watch. Right. And like my thing is is that I think nobody reasonable expects them to beat Ohio State, like, right? Like, oh, they're not going to win that game. But you look at Washington, Penn State and the New Year, first year coach, Oregon. I could see them being like, wait, why do we wait? I don't understand why is Oregon? What is, why does it affect the college football that Oregon is the better program right now? You know, if you're a USC fan, I could totally see that or looking at it in like a lot of like a lot of coaches who are going to get fired because of Kirk's dignity. I'm sure a lot of them are looking at like, well, there's no excuse. USC should be able to do what Indiana did. So like the only scheduled loss that I see on this is Ohio State, I do think that Oregon is stronger than SC. Yeah. I think that Oregon is, I think Oregon is stronger than SC. But they get both those games at home. That's a really big win for them. I kind of think they're in a great spot. If you upset Oregon, late in September, I mean, all of a sudden, we're talking about USC in a totally different line. They might be a team that can make the playoffs. That's an announcement game for them. They win that game, then, you know, they have all you win that game. You're saying, hey, we're here. We're ready to compete not just from a big 10 level, but we're ready to compete at the highest levels because Oregon was a playoff team that a lot of people thought had a legitimate shot in the national championship this year. So the interesting game at the end of the year will be SC and Indiana. Yeah, man, because we're going to know pretty quickly what Indiana is now coming off the national championship victory that they had. But at the end of the day, that game might be a playoff and liminator for both teams. If Indiana's not quite as dominant, that's a game that they need to get. And if SC say beats Oregon, but trips up somewhere along the line, lose to a house state or whatever, see how many that might be a really, really important game for them. I don't know if they can win it because of what Indiana put on the field last year. But I also haven't seen what Indiana is going to put on the field this year. Yeah. Yeah, the really if I get super, if I give you, let's say four names on this list, we'll be let go by the end of the year. Would you take the over or the under nine names on the list? And so now you got that and you got Lenora Sellers, Dylan Stewart, maybe the best quarterback and maybe the best offensive in a college football. You can't do it now. Then when are you going to do it? Right. Um, what about Luke fickle? I think on his list, I think that the fanbase is wearing Aston with him as like pretty much anywhere. Yeah, he's a good coach too. I think we're sort of good thing for Luke fickle is that this year, they were like, all right, let's put some money back into the program. Let's get a good transfer class. But I didn't, I know they brought some folks in, but I didn't hear a ring out. Like I didn't hear Wisconsin landed, you know, Cam Coleman or something. So it'll be really interesting. And because I definitely, again, it's the Indiana thing. It's like, wait, why are we work? Why is Indiana so much better than us? I can see them looking at that. Like Wisconsin, like we, we are a great college town, the tradition, like we can, we can recruit jump around, jump around. Yeah. So they can build that horse shit, though. Hmm. Like it's so, so it's like the reason why I understand people using that metric as a reason why their team should be better or how the fuck are we losing? People in the SEC say that about Vanderbilt. Well, how the fuck are we getting swept by Vanderbilt? How Vanderbilt has a better system of program than you do right now. The end. That's the answer. The answer is that the reason why you would lose the Indiana is because Indiana hired a coach that figured out a way to put a dominant football team on the field. You're not doing that. Sure, you should be better than Indiana, but right now you're not. Well, usually the thing is, Indiana is truly unprecedented. Usually in a league, if you lose to Vandy, if you lose to Kansas, like those are losses that get you fired, you know, if you're at the right school. And that used to be Indiana, but now you can't really say that because Indiana like may have the best coach in modern history and like they just won a national championship and they went to the playoffs. So this is a totally different program than no longer a doormat. But again, I'm sure that people have just not used to looking up and being like, man, Indiana is kicking our ass. Like why is this happening? What I'm proud of, what I'm not proud of, well, I think it's going to be interesting about the Indiana team next year is just a quarterback that has the opportunity to really compete at a real program, right? So I think that Indiana's going to play with a hero on fire because they have a quarterback that now has the opportunity to see real cost football in. Did you see what you're doing? But I'm on a big stage. He's the one to be on the big stage. Okay. And to be out of the monster power center, big 12, and now, and now he gets a chance. No, seriously, all jokes aside, do you think, do you think that Hoover from what you've seen, you've watched him closer, more closer, more closely, I say, didn't take nine. You see him having success in office? Yeah. I think he's really good. I'm sad to lose him, but we almost lost some to Tennessee the year before. And he stayed, he stayed put. So I think he's got a lot of, and the way that I think about it is that when Fernando Mendoza went down to Indiana, nobody thought of him in the way that they thought about him. And Josh Hoover thus far has been a more successful college quarterback. Now, I know that like Todd McShay and some other ones had identified Fernando Mendoza as a guy that could be a early round draft pick and Josh Hoover's not at that. But in terms of the success they've had in college, Josh Hoover probably has a better resume at this point than Fernando Mendoza did. So, yeah, surround him with a really great defense, a solid offensive line is receiving Corey. He has all American out there at Charlie Becker. So, yeah, I mean, I think he's going to have a really good year. Yeah, I would say so. I think it's a good spot for him and, yeah, the hot seat, there you have it. We'll do, we'll talk about that a little bit more, but I thought those nine names are fasting. Let's get to the story of the week. The SEC is in the midst of media days right now. We have a few stories that have come out, but one of the biggest ones is this. We've heard about a super league, the rumblings for quite some time. There was kind of the assumption that the super league would include the big 10 and the SEC joining together to form the super league, but it seems like the SEC has a different plan. They're calling it plan B, which is a self governing model in which the league enforces its own rules and perhaps even competes against its own members only. So they would basically box out everybody and they've updated the chant. Now when they say SEC, the other side of the stadium will chant EDE, they're going to secede as the SEC as you know, they're going to secede from the NCAA model band, your thoughts on the SEC knew of the model. I think that there's, well, I want to ask you guys a question. Do you think that this is a power play by these leagues? Because if the SEC did this, obviously, there would be a domino effect to where you'd have, you'd go into like maybe like a Champions League type of situation, like a Premier League type of situation, SEC, Monster Power Center, Big 12, Big 10, and then you get winners of those leagues and then you get like, I don't know, do you get a Champions League situation where there's a separate Champions League, all of those things at first, top two teams. You do it like a European soccer or like whatever, whatever, all it's a sign. Do you feel like these threats are actually real or do you feel like these threats are meant to put pressure on college football to structurally and economically change? Oh, it's absolutely saber rattling. They don't want to play against each other. They don't want to have to take over enforcement. They don't want all the things that you have to do and then your labor issue with the players changes, like all of that would fight because that's, that's an NCAA thing, right? So when you decide, all right, we're stepping outside of this, then all of a sudden you've got to take over all that stuff and you got to renegotiate how you're going to do with your players. There's no way they're going to play by themselves, but they're just trying to either put their thumb on the protect college sports act or it's a signal to the big 10 to, hey, the time is now. Let's go. You know, but there's no way that they want to do that. Like it's just it's good to have a failed threat from Sanky, you know, it shouldn't have failed. It ain't failed. I mean, yes, I guess it's unveiled. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But to answer it takes question, like the southernmost league. Yeah. Well, maybe not the southernmost league is something that now you're going to be 12 cents off, whatever. But the team that represents talking off the ball, talking about seceding. It's just like it's such a stupid, idiotic look. The entire thing, it everyone seems to be, this is my main problem with college football right now. They probably would society right now. Oh, it's no one seems to think right now of the collective. We are in a race in almost all situations to capitalist dominance. And we're really just having arguments about who should be the dominant thing. No one's considering the entire ecosystem of what happens up me before we, huh? It's me before we. It's yeah. And so like, you know, there's a lot of money to be made off college football. There's a lot of people that benefit from the money being made on college football. But everybody's thinking about their part of it. And I get that and I understand that. But the, another reason why the SEC breaking away is not a good idea or is a terrible idea or something. I don't like it's because it ruins college football. It ruins what has made college football special. That's not what the SEC isn't it's only the SEC is a part of this grander culture. A cultural tapestry that has made up this incredible lore and tradition that makes this sport special. So I get that the money dictates that you have to do this and think about it and all of this stuff like that. But it's fucking why at the end of the day sucks. Yeah. I mean, the thing is is that again, they don't want to do this. This is just talk. They really want to, they really want somebody to step in and, you know, organize the college football in a way that they think is feasible, right? So, you know, the irony is that they won't regulations. Yeah. Yeah, man. Well, you know, maybe they just like again, they like this labor model that we've been thinking about slavery, you know, would be really cool. You know, down there, you know, deep south, you know, how they do it. They're Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, a lot of limbal fans down there. Texas is woke. Hey, y'all, they got nothing like Houston, trekkin, and Louisiana though. All I know is the South Carolina comes out for Louisiana, I got nothing like Houston. That'd be funny. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, I would be fast saying I just honestly think that would hurt everybody involved So I I can't see it actually happening, but again, they did put it out there not a super league You know, you know who running Houston? So they did a, this is a one big ranking for the week. Joel said this to us and I went through, which I fell fascinating. So we have seven tiers of quarterbacks and college football that they went through and ranked them all. And I'll start with tier one here. They had Trinidad Chambles at number one, Dante, more of Oregon and number two, CJ Karn, Notre Dame, Darien, Minza, Miami, Julian, Sano, Ohio State, Drew, Mesta, maker, obviously playing at Oklahoma State Archmaning at Texas and Sam Levitt at LSU. Does that feel like tier one, do you van? Is there anybody missing? Eee, no, that feels like no, JK. Yes. No, my, you know, it's a talent. It's a, it's tier one in terms of what these quarterbacks are in the programs that they are, that they are in. If this was just a list of dogs, then there are a couple of guys in tier two that I would probably put in tier one. Marcel Reid, maybe Marcel Reid would be in there. We're just talking about like, like talent, but a lot of this, this stuff is situational and what these guys have around them. I'm really, I'm really surprised with North sellers and tier three. I mean, that speaks to the year that he had last year, which you didn't live up to expectations. Going into that year, people thought that he was going to be a first round draft, like you get that kind of talent and then play out like that, but for him to be in tier three is sort of, he was like a top five draft then. Back to the point that we were just making, you know, there's, there's carnage and chaos around him. You have a head coach that's on the hot seat. You have a team that didn't show that they could really use his skill set last year. And a lot of people are wrong. It just doesn't seem like there's, there's much stability there. Oh, no, you're right. I mean, I'm just kind of, again, I'm just kind of surprised. The other thing is that, like, I know that CJ car had a great off season and that he was really solid as a freshman. I just thought elevating him to tier one seemed a little early. Like, it's, it's, it's obviously gunner stocked in up there. You put who? I'd put gunner stocked in my, my, my, uh, up there in tier one and maybe swap out, uh, messed the maker. Wow. Well, just, I mean, like, just until we see it. You know what I mean, even minza. I mean, in tier one. Yeah. I mean, if you're talking about seeing it, I mean, arch is kind of in that conversation as well. You know, I mean, I think about it. Into the year we saw it. We played so well towards the end. Right. Um, we, we, uh, we played so well towards the end of the season. Yeah, he played so well towards the end of the season. I feel like arch with his play on the second and the second half of the year kind of legitimized the expectation or yeah, the hype of him going into the season. I know how legitimate it was going into last season, but this season, I feel like it's pretty legitimate. Another name into your three Nico, Joel. Yeah, man. I mean, I mean, you know what? I actually think that's how I would have expected to be a role. Yeah, I think that's that shows you what people think about him. I agree. Yeah, man, Rocco Beckman. I don't know what he got to do. Man, he's getting the, uh, I think Rocco Beck might have a big year. Yeah, man. I mean, Rocco Beck is like, I mean, he started, I mean, over 40 games, I think in his career. I want to say I heard a stat that he had more positive plays from the position than anybody else. In the country last year. So I'm just kind of, I was like, man, I don't know what Rocco Beck has to do to get out of the tier three, but, you know, I, I think he's gonna probably have a pretty good year at Penn State this year and that we're going to hear a lot more about him. No, no, no, no, no, no, from tier four. Yeah, tier four. I mean, I would say Bryce Underwood in tier four is crazy, fascinating, right? Yeah, crazy. I mean, $12 million for tier four Bryce Underwood, Bryce Underwood needs to have a big season. Now it's looking like he's going to be there for the long haul. You don't see anything that pops that makes you think that he's going to be a guy that's going to be out of there next year. Anything like that? Who knows? So he's got a couple more seasons to get it, but Bryce Underwood needs to show some improvement. Like I feel like there's people are starting to be kind of down on the Bryce Underwood experiment up there in Michigan. Well, man, I mean, I can't remember what's the name of the Utah safety whose son went there for a recruiting visit and said he didn't have it. Like it was not just the season last year. It was fine for a freshman, but it wasn't like what everybody sort of expected. And then he went into the off season where, you know, the guy came in and the recruits father came in and said, ah, that guy didn't have it. The spring game. Former players saying they watch with the spring game. I think he was like two for none in the spring game. So it's like, yeah, it doesn't it doesn't seem like with Van did right there. They're going to be like we're paying that boy a lot of money. Like we expect a little bit more from him. So, yeah, I mean, you think that's unfair? No, I mean, because I've been saying I want to see it with Bryce. Like everybody has said the talent. They talked about talent. I've seen this high school highlight tape. I just haven't been as excited by his potential as everybody else is. And I look for it to be proven wrong. Same with DJ lagway. Like I mean, DJ lagway should be in like tier two man judging from the way he came in the last year. He kind of had a, like a Lenore seller situation where he jet, although he was hurt. He just didn't live up to expectation. And so, you know, maybe a Baylor. He'll, you know, he'll he'll be a little bit more in his comfort zone, feel more supported or whatever. But he's also going to be playing for coach on the on the hot C2 and Dave Miranda. So I will be interesting how that turns out as well. Isn't this indicative of just how important system is in all of this interior one you have Trinidad, Chamblis, who is a guy that's no doubt a talented quarterback. But a guy who came from a division three school. And because he was given the opportunity, it feels like to grow and develop at a place that had an offensive identity, a clear, efficient system seems to have been able to maximize his talent. You're looking at lagway sellers really even underwood. These were guys that came from places that did not have any of that. They have all the talent in the world, arm strength, toughness, speed. Like all of that stuff is there for those guys. But what they didn't have is any type of imagination on offense. Like you can throw a joy in Lewis into that list. So like we're talking about quarterbacks and you know, it goes back to something that people said every quarterback is a system quarterback. Yeah. Like every single one of them because these guys are really, really talented. A couple other names on this list as well. Maybe maybe he goes one of those names. Yeah, that's right. I mean, Pilon Russo with Alabama. I mean, he's in tier four and he's going to have to, you know, shoulder a lot there. That team has even beaten out Austin, Matt yet. I didn't see that was the other thing. I didn't know that he had beaten out Austin, Matt. I thought that that quarterback job. I think I think it's still up for grabs. But I think they just rated Russo here in tier four. Just out of like, hey, he's the Alabama quarterback. We believe at this point. There's also some other names at the bottom that could really bump up. I feel like Alberto Mendoza is going to have a good year for Georgia Tech and he's in tier five. Jackson Arnold has obviously been a journeyman at this point, but you know, maybe he can bump up. Um, Malik Murphy and word of state phase on brand. I was going to say Malik Johnson is still in college. Next Johnson is here says Jackson Arnold Malik Murphy. Max Johnson. Max Johnson play for LSU was that six years ago. Oh, TJ men, these guys in the school, Max Johnson turns 25 later this month. Like Max Johnson, like, for real, man, like tier seven is former Carolina quarterbacks. Max Johnson, Ryan Brown and Connor Harrell. They're all former Carolina quarterbacks all in tier seven. That's crazy. That's crazy. Yeah, man. Shout out, Max Johnson, man. He really, I mean, he's doing, he's a super senior man. He got, he's going to have a lot of stories to tell. I mean, damn, I had no idea. I again, and like you said, I didn't know Malik Murphy was that we're, where's Malik playing? I should know Oregon State. He's a baby. Oh, that's right. He's still. Yeah, he was up there. Yeah. Okay. But when you watch Malik Murphy on the field, he still looks different than the players around him. Yeah. He looks like he could do it. Yeah. He looks like he can do it. You always want to believe in Malik Murphy when you see him, a gigantic, really gifted QB. And then you look at him. You're like, oh god damn him. He looked like a minimums boys. And then the graphic pops up with that stat line and you like shit. One for eight for 12 yards. You know who got that treatment for so long, it was Joe Milton, like, but Joe Milton. But Joe Milton was more of the arm. The arm is just fucking crazy. Like, it's just, you know, I mean, he's a big dude, obviously, but the arm is fucking crazy. And everybody was like, man, Joe, Joe Milton, when he puts it all together, he's going to be special. And I mean, I'm surprised he stuck around in the NFL. I think he's a backup then in dollars. They're still saying that. Yeah. Yeah. He's still wild, they're still people who believe come along. I mean, he's just they're still saying Joe Milton might be a steal at some point. He's going to get an opportunity. Somebody's going to figure out how to put that all of that, all of those skills together and get like a real NFL quarterback out of him. Just so fucking gifted. I mean, during trading camp, Drake May and him were together and Colin Coward went on the show. I was like, Joe Milton's better than Drake May. Yeah. You look at the arm. It's like Jeff George. There's a few quarterbacks in our lifetime, where it's just like, you just can't get over the arm and how they look, you know, and that's, that's what's going on with Joe Milton. But I saw Joe Milton play at Michigan one time, I guess it was against Wisconsin and he came in the game. I don't remember who the started quarterback was that year, but he, you know, he rotated it in. And they were like, they kept trying to run him. And I was like, man, Joe Milton can't run man, stop profiling that motherfucker dog. He's just because black and big, don't mean he can't run. Stop trying to make him run a quarterback. This is so funny to me. This is my favorite thing about black quarterbacks, my favorite thing is about quarter, like black quarterbacks is like, you know, you get a guy like behind the left wing and you see, and you see David Gerard, you try to see him trying to run some, it's like just because you're black, doesn't mean that you can get out there and make plays with your feet all the time. And Joe Milton, like, I'm sure he's a decent athlete, right? He's a pretty good athlete. He's a great athlete. But at the same time, that's not the show. He's a pocket passer. Yeah, pocket pass. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen from the pocket. Yeah. That's not the show. So, yeah, man, I don't, again, yeah, I, they didn't really get my belief, Murphy. He's going to keep it. That's what, again, that I do TJ Finley, that is the proposition with TJ Finley because every coach looks at him, man, six foot seven, two, 40, good on, pretty decent athlete. I can do something with that. And they'll keep thinking that until, look, Malik Murphy, no, actually Joe Milton is only a year older than Max Johnson, but by the way, just let you know, Joe Milton did go four six at the 40 though. One last name I wanted to mention that could, he's in tier six, but I think he's probably going to have a better year than people suspect, phase on brand in a Tennessee, offensive line, great backfield, two great receivers on the outside and five star recruit. So I mean, him and tier six feels like we haven't seen it yet, so you have to put him there, but I could see phase on brand and have him to be here. So I wanted to point him out. Yeah. I mean, Hypo is good at designing the offense and who was the kid that was there last year? Joey Aguilar. Joey Aguilar. Yeah, Aguilar. Yeah, I mean, Joey Aguilar, he started off great in about the end of the year. I think Tennessee was kind of like, all right. We've seen enough, but they were able to get a serviceable offense out of out of him. Joey Aguilar. Yeah, the scheme is just deadly. Yeah. It's even if it puts the offensive line is going to be so good. I mean, Tennessee might have the best offensive line in the SEC. Yeah. So like they they have a lot of stuff going from it. You're going to get an opportunity to be successful at quarterback if you play, if you play inside that system. Yeah. He puts a lot of stress and he puts a lot of stress in the next five years. He puts a lot of stress in the next five years. Oklahoma, I mean, he was kind of offended that he didn't get the call the last go round. Is that the way that Oklahoma wants to win? Do they really think that they're national title contenders? Because that's what is a standard at Oklahoma. It makes sense. Josh Heifel and Oklahoma kind of make sense, but, you know, we'll see. Yeah. I think Vittable has got himself another couple of years. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Vittables is. And the tier coming back. He's good. Yeah. The thing is though, I never thought they were a national championship contender. Even when they were really good last year going in the Texas game, I was like, yeah, they're good, but they can't win a national championship. Before we move off this, before we move off this, Julian Lewis at Colorado. Yeah. Colorado Buffalo's Julian Lewis hyped, touted, uh, prospect slash recruit, whatever you fuck want to say, um, were you expecting out of him? Were you expecting out of the buffs, like what's going to happen? Like he didn't go jump in the chance for a portal. Yeah. Yeah. He was given enough reason to come back to Colorado and continue to move when a lot of players left. You got bench last year at one point for style. Yeah. Then came back in. Didn't that say something about, uh, about his belief in what it is that they're doing? And maybe they've shown him something that makes them believe that he's going to be, who's going to have a chance to be successful there. A lot of guys love Colorado. So allegedly, when they lost seat in the theory was that, well, that frees up more money to get a bunch of offensive linemen that have had success and had a lot of starts at lower levels. And so they spread the money around. So allegedly, they're going to have a solid veteran line. And they brought in Brennan Marion, who was a head coach at Sacramento State, um, and that he's going to, you know, jazz up the offense and we'll see, like, you know, we'll see. I, the thing about Juju Lewis, um, and again, he was a freshman last year. So it's tough to know. Very young. Very young. Yeah. He was 19. Yeah. He got it. He, um, you know, went up a class too. Right. I just, I didn't see it and I just hope maybe that was him being a freshman, but sometimes, you know, you can look at a guy and be like, Oh, he's going to be special. He's going to be smaller than he thought he would look. Yeah. When I saw him in high school tape, I don't know what it is with the Colorado team, but every time that they put on their uniforms, they look small. I don't know what even guys that transfer in, like, they put on that uniform and they look smaller. I don't know. Maybe it's like a warped with the videos they put out or whatever. But, um, anyways, uh, fascinating story there and prime avoided the hot seat list, by the way. So that was good for him. You know, we had nine coaches on there. Coach primed on the list. Top five headlines of the week in college football. Let's start here. Uh, this came out about a week ago, Michigan AD, Ward manual was over, uh, apparently overlooked warning signs surrounding Sharon Moore. And then there was news, uh, over the weekend. I guess it was a Friday news, um, Ward manual is going to be let go. There was a lot of dusty May behind this and obviously the Sharon Moore situation did not help. But Michigan, uh, now looking for an AD and Joel, I saw you chiming in on this. On Twitter, uh, what do you have any words for Ward manual after his access? They fired your black ass, man. I told you, but the thing about Ward manual is that so again, this is some of this is from the reporter, whatever, but allegedly, he had told Sharon Moore, hey, man, stop working out with your assistant and the gym. People are on to that shit. No, whatever. This is before he was a head coach, okay? You then made that guy head coach. And that's the thing that's kind of surprising to me, because again, you know, I mean, you don't want to, I, I'm not making judgments about anybody's personal life, barely hardball push for it though. Yeah. I mean, but no, get the fuck out of here. How about you already had us in enough hell, like, you know, I mean, like, thank you for the National Championship. But like the program looks like a mess, right? The athletic department looks like a mess and part because of you and we both got something out of it. Uh, we gave you the, the platform, you go back to the NFL, you gave us the National Championship, but I'm looking at Sherone Moore, and I'm, I'm like, I just, I can't believe Ward manual tied his career to him. That's the thing that sort of surprises me, because I remember when Sherone Moore got hired, and I was like, you know, I see what you saying. I get it. And I'm all for the brothers getting the job, but I always worry about fit and how much support they'll get. And I looked at those offenses that he had and coordinated at Michigan, and I didn't see anything that excited me. I mean, he had, he had some great offensive lines, but in terms, when he had the opportunity to run a whole offensive, it didn't look special to me. So I was kind of surprised that he was a guy that got that job and now knowing that they had to go to him. They had to have an intervention before he was head coach. You might want to chill with your girl, Doug, because everybody, people are talking around here. And so that's the thing that surprised me about Ward manual, like, uh, Michigan fans very happy about this, by the way. So, uh, a lot of people. Yeah, it's one time I don't think it's racist, man, usually, yeah, about to say, you, you just sold him out, like, so, uh, you know, all of that, that shit you be on, Joe, you're, you're interesting guy. I never listen to the rest of the ball consistently, though, never been a wrestling ball, I'll tell you that, that, that, that is, that is true, that is, that is true, just raising a cop. Now, all right, nigga, okay. So I say this a couple of the things here. Number one, man, Michigan is quietly in the dirt. Like Michigan is a really resilient college football program. Michigan has had gigantic scandals in the last three or four years that for most other programs would be at least halfway debilitating. Yeah. Like for the entire Conor Stallions thing and all of that stuff, the Harball goes back to the NFL is that happens and then the God it gets replaced after all of that that was supposed to bring instability and kind of purge the program of any of the lingering sort of bad feelings surrounding all of that stuff is like fucking one of his his his his the co-eds or his assistant and then he gets fired and arrested and a D gets fired. It's a lot going on at Michigan and it seems like they are go bluing through and through and all of it, man. It's true. They're just hailing the victors though. I mean they've won two national taping ships amongst this madness. Yeah, man. Which is even more impressive. It's a dusty man and Jim Harball got one. And so many people jumped on my dude Vinny Goodwill for saying Delario Bryan Trophy was a participation trophy and I think people of Conor like took that out of context with one of the most moronic things. I like it. I like it. Yeah, man. Shout out to him. Like I've heard him. Yeah, good news. You got trapped in that. He got trapped in the take. It's nothing personal at the brother. Shout out to him. Yeah, yeah, you got to find him. Look at you going in here. You know, you're not supporting a brother and a high profile. Come on. Like Joe Joe or some real shit. That was that was like a really fucking all-time bump. No, this is what I think he meant. I think I can save this because I'm texting with him a little bit about this. The problem the thing is is that what he meant is that if one championship was enough, you'd think more people would be happy. And you can see it over and over again. Like the Boston Celtics three years ago, they were world champions and nobody's happy. And now it looks like all that shit fell apart. The Bronwyn's a championship at the Lakers. And people are like, oh, that's not as many as I thought. Legacy's not quite what we thought it was going to be. Like one championship never really is enough for people. Like it was from Milwaukee. Yeah. Yeah, I guess it was for Denver. You know, I feel like yoke is on the clock. I feel like people are going to be like, man, I see what Joe saying. I mean, what you want. I think I see what Joe saying, but I still think it's enough for New York. It's nonsensical, right? It's definitely enough for the nicks. Well, I think for a lot of these players, um, when we're comparing them to, to greats of old or even teams of old, those teams, one, two or three championships, Joe, you're right. They're not that many teams that popped up in the 80s and the 90s that got one and then got out. They normally had a little run where they got there and they got back whatever the fuck happened, right? And we are seeing like parisers 77 sixers 83. Like there's a few, but you're right. There's a few. Don't give me wrong. The Raptors, um, but that's kind of all along the lines, even in this kind of deal that we're talking about right now that almost could be like the start of it when you look at it. But like it didn't happen as much back in the day. The maps did it. Their teams, but you know, you normally go back a little bit. Yeah. That does change it. That doesn't make it a participation trophy though. Like, like, like, like, just, let me finish. I'll be brief. Uncharacteristically to say this a participation trophy. What you're really talking about in this situation now is more like maybe the second apron and kind of some of the constraints around the business of it, meaning that, you know, you're going to have to do different things to stay competitive year in and year out, right? A big part of what we're not even talking about is injury. Like, I can make an argument right now that the reason why the, uh, the, the thunder didn't repeat is because they were hurt. Yeah. Jay. A lot of Pacers weren't back in the NBA pounds of a player. It's because I shredded his Achilles. There's so many more injuries at in opportune times in the NBA right now. That is a big part of it. None of that contributes to calling the championship accomplishment a participation trophy. That's just too much you have to go through. Well, first of that type of take, you got to take it on the backside. No, I feel like, but you want to, you want to see a black man like, I'm just saying that's a, that's a, I'm like that guy. I'm just saying this is what I'm going to say. Again, I just think that he, first of all, he was echoing when his host said it said it's the participation. The guy said, so you saying it's a participation trophy, and he was sort of echoing what he said. He was, it was aligned with the guy in front of the clip. Was way worse in the conversation. The clip was way worse in the conversation, you know, but that's that's the life we live in. I've been there. I've been there one time. I've been there a lot of times. I get it, but you that type of accomplishment. You just can't, you can't, you can't do that. If one charity is one thing, participation trophy is another one. If one five pistons, that was enough. If one championship was enough, it was run less miles would have still had their jobs. People would get mad at people. It's never, it's never enough. One championship never satiates anybody, but, but what, what I'm telling you is that like it also depends. I want you to understand something here. It depends. A championship is a way to win because you can win without a championship, right? Of course, right. Sure. So a championship is a way to win. It's the top way to win. It also matters how you lose. It's one thing to go from a championship to like, now we are a perennial non-win 10-win team. We win in 10 wins, right? 10 wins. That's going to get you going to stay around. But if you go from a championship to like five wins or a championship to like four wins or three wins with all of the other dysfunction, yeah. People go look for something else. There are a lot of coaches that stay where they were for a long time with zero championships. Just being solid winners. I think people have changed. I think the fan relationship with their teams have changed. And one championship feels good, but they're sort of because of everybody so interested in off-season acquisitions. Everybody wants to be dynasty. I think about all of them that is like, and so then the dissatisfaction starts sooner than it used to. Because it used to be, I mean, look, there's been guys in history. Joe Paterno. Yeah, Joe Paterno. One, two national championships. Yeah, but once again, though, those were guys, Joe Paterno has some down years. Those were guys that buy and large, though, feel that really competitive teams every single season. And I think in a couple of these situations that we're talking about, some of these guys have had teams that hit these highs. And then I'm just going to be real with you. LSU's program fell apart. That's just what happened. And I'm glad that Coach O'Dron is back. I have a lot of respect for Coach O'Dron. The pandemic was a part of that. All of that stuff. There was a lot of things going on. There was stuff with Eric Gilbert, a couple of guys didn't hit. All of that stuff is true. I have a lot of respect for Coach O'Dron, but like the complete fucking program, Philip Hart, this part of me, I'm going to be real with you. It's a be serious. This part of me wished that LSU would have kind of stuck it out with Andrew O'Dron. A little bit. I'm serious. He's back. A little bit to see if he could write the ship a little bit, a little bit. But do I also completely understand why that move was made at the time that it was made? Absolutely. Again, to your point, and I agree, I mean, I can always run just fifths LSU. Like I said, I mean, he, that's what LSU fans think of themselves. That's what I'll say. But Michigan just won two championships in the two top revenue sports. And you just said, now they're down in the dirt. And I'm just saying, man, they just won championships. No, let me tell you, that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about, but like, see now, now who's being a Republican? You are, you watch wrestling ball. Like when I was talking about it, I was just, Michigan is not down in the dirt from a competitive standpoint. They're actually not. The fucking baseball team is great. Like Michigan's, like they're not down there. But in terms of like a college football as a college sports entity, like they have just really more blood going on outside. They have, they've had two gigantic back-to-back embarrassing nationwide scandals that are going on. And they seem, maybe to you guys at this point, because of, because of how much success they're having on the court and on the field, they seem to kind of be bulletproof from it. It's not really moving anyone. Like they just had to fire that AD because the coach wouldn't stay away from one of the assistants. They ran that Michigan, Michigan ran them niggas out of there, man. They're like, enough of this. They don't have to keep them out of here. They never got to hear. They're gonna do that again. That's over. Zippy. Hey, if you're gonna be all I say this, all I say is this, if you're gonna be like in the DMs and the co-ins and all of that stuff, you just got to be more, you got to be, you got to be better than what's your own more is. You got to have a good offense. You got to have take, take a team to the playoffs that have never been there before. If you're going to be- You get to win a national championship. He called Lane Kiffin the adonis of all college football coaches, which is basically Kirby smart saying he's the hottest head football coach, um, Van, your thoughts. I mean, is this a win for Lane Kiffin? We did not have him on our list, but Kirby smart says he's number one. I think Lane Kiffin might have the total package, you know, when you look at all of it together. Oh package. Uh, pah. Hey. Oh, but, but if we're talking about just straight up, nah, man, we got freemen. We got Chesney. We got a lot of people, um, that's, that's, that is different than that. Like, I think freeman's the adonis. Yeah. And freeman's the adonis, can I tell you got something? Um, did y'all know where just speaking of Greek mythology, I was thinking about this when this was brought up. Do y'all know where the name of the constellation, the Milky Way comes from? Her breast milk flew into the cosmos and it created the Milky Way, so the Milky Way of stars that's in the cosmos is because Hera was Hercules away from her nipples.
