Cloudy with a Chance of Tabernacles - Rav Immanuel Bernstein

The transcript blends promotional content for LoanStarCasino.com, a free-to-play social casino, with a sharp critique of systemic racism and political hypocrisy. It emphasizes how society glorifies a mother who allegedly murdered her children while silencing a mother seeking justice for a lost child, framing this as a reflection of deep societal biases. The speaker expresses outrage over political figures, particularly Shaquille O'Neal and Casper T. Till, accepting honors from a controversial administration, labeling it a betrayal of community values. The discussion expands to include broader social issues: media censorship by corporate entities like BET, racial disparities in school funding, and the exploitation of Black and Brown communities. The narrative also touches on personal stories, such as a man’s struggles with family and death, and promotes health benefits of sleeping naked. Amid these themes, the content includes commercial messages about a 2026 cruise, funeral planning services, and political satire, illustrating a mix of entertainment, advocacy, and advertising. The overarching message is one of disillusionment with current political and social systems, especially their failure to protect and uplift marginalized groups.

Well, the thing that's interesting about all of this is they still haven't provided the missing parts from the autopsy, right? Right. Well, what they said was his body, I guess it was right in line with someone who had drowned. That's all they said. That doesn't answer a question. Well, the grand jury seems to believe that now that there are no charges are going to be brought against anybody because of what they did find and all of the evidence that they did look over. But we don't trust Mrs. Smith. Of course not. Come on. Last time we got Justin and Mrs. Cipi was the movie Time to Kill. Yeah. And where's Matthew McConaughey with you? Exactly. The last time. That's just. I don't trust Mrs. Cipi at all. So let me get this straight. The young girl who was hung, they found a murderer for, the dude who came up drowning, they didn't. Correct. So it was a black guy who murdered, who they're saying or charging with or attempting to charge with. That is correct. Yeah. Isn't it funny how people are more mad at a mother trying to get justice than a mother slaughtering her children? Yeah, that's terrible. It is. But it is so Mrs. Cipi, I don't trust Mrs. Cipi at all. About anything. I don't, I don't, I think that they have, they have a horrible track record when it comes to the lives of black people as a matter of fact, the grand jury, she's a district attorney. What they did was take all the political power out of it. They run Jackson, Mrs. Cipi. They have no black people to help run Jackson, right? If I'm, if I'm mistaken, I'm, I'm mistaken, I'm scared. I know they, they passed a law that, yeah, I know you got elected officials in jail, but you're going, we're going to see you with the state, yeah, something like that. So I don't trust your court system, I don't trust your water and I damn sure don't trust your justice. So nothing. It's really sad. It's very sad. My mother, you're more angry at a mother for trying to get justice for her children than offering them. That's, that's the same. Happy birthday to Jameen, to pre happy birthday to Anthony Mackie, happy birthday to Lisa Ray McCoy, happy birthday to Bruce Springsteen, happy birthday to Matt Camp, happy birthday to Julio Glacias, happy birthday to Lazy Bone, happy birthday to Jordan Woods, happy birthday to Simon Arch, happy birthday to Ethan Harris, you substitute the law on when they see us. Happy birthday to Jason Alexander, Georgia stands on Seinfeld, happy birthday to Brandon, Victor Dixon, Terry Silver on Power, happy birthday to Shawn McBride, happy birthday to Chris Johnson, and the NFL. He has MS or Parkinson's, right? Yeah. Yeah, that's sad. Yeah, that's sad. Happy birthday, possibly, of course, to the one and only Ray Charles, I did a gift for him years ago in Fresno, and he had this role manager named mother, he called him mother, and they used to take champagne buckets instead of going through the bathroom, the stage would be surrounded with champagne buckets and the, the band was just peeing the buckets instead of going through the bathroom. Who had damply the buckets? The people. They started. They could never go to the bathroom. They started in Jim Crow, and they could go to the bathroom. So now it's just a tradition they keep. So I give this to Ethan. It's disgusting. The fade hands. What's in this bucket? Don't drink that. I know. Don't drink it. That's not crystal. That's not good. This crystal tastes like ammonia. Yeah. Happy. And happy birthday to John Coltrane and happy birthday to the one and only Mickey Rooney. We have a great show lined up for you. Of course, Jasmine will just tell us what's trending. I have a little note from the GD section on the DL Hugley show. The countdown is on one board 2026 hosted by Ricky Spalley, six days one incredible ship and only a few cabins are left. The contents, the food and the experiences. I'm telling you one here about it afterwards called 214451963 to secure your cabin at a special price, log on to oneboardcrues.com for all the details. Jasmine. What man? I think if you was trending. Nicole Hanna-Jones, you remember her from the 1619 project people are very upset with her. We're not everybody. But actually this has created a conversation that we we actually have had this on the show. And that is we have many of them in one of which we talked about if you are a person of means, specifically a person of color with means, do you stay in your community or go outside of that. So obviously Nicole and her husband do well, but they they sent their children to school in New York to public schools and for whatever reason it sparked like an intense conversation about race and privilege and parental responsibility in terms of, you know, should you have sent them to a better school. And so they've had this whole conversation online, even her daughter jumped in and said basically, I wish you would have put me in a place where I could have gotten a better education. And she was like. And grateful little bro. No, right. Yeah. But I remember Ryan told me one time, all you ever did for me was pay for my education. You mean that 250,000? No. She was a nice school. Yes. But you know Nicole's point of view was basically, look, you know, I wanted you to make sure that you were, you know, you know, in place of culture you understood what we came from. And then as she got older, her plan was to put her in better schools. And you know, of course, her daughter made the grace of do so, but she was basically like, you know, I wish you had a very fine school and. And a lot of people on social media was like, how dare you? You got the money. You got the man you should have put her in a private school. And other people were like, it's good that you allow them to see, you know, how one of the reasons people move to some of the neighborhoods they move to is because the school district like Calabasca has love, loves version of school district, it's a month of final school district in the country. Why would I pay 40 grand a child? Thank you. That's crazy. Right. I mean, just because I can't do it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I see the the conundrum there because, you know, obviously we know schools, public schools don't always get funded the way other school, you know, other schools do. And so, you know, it can kind of put your kid at a disadvantage. We're seeing a lot of teachers on social media talking about how, you know, there are a lot of kids who can't read or can't pronounce big words and they just pass them right on through. You know, but. That's because I think the I literally think that there is a attempt because they want just a solidly worker class and a and a and a and a owner class they don't want. So they don't need you educated. They need you to just knock these widgets down or do whatever it is that the menial tasks they want you to do them want you educated as evidence by the fact that they slash the budget. Yeah. So I mean, I would think that, I mean, I would want best for my son, you know, to put him in a, if I could afford to hand the code, where did she go to school? Oh, I don't know. I think she, I don't know. I don't think so. I think she worked her way out. She did. Okay. Well, you'll do it too. Yeah. And by the way, her daughter did work her way out and got into a nice school. All right. You know, but she was like, you know, I don't know why you didn't put me in a better funded school because you are ungrateful. I can tell she ungrateful. You could tell it. It's just max of ungrateful. Speaking of ungrateful, people are saying BET is ungrateful for the, the contributions of black journalists. Apparently they, I don't know why they would do this. But they erased decades of cultural documentation, all kinds of articles and everything from there were everything interviews, they erased decades of things and they were like, I mean, they went all the way back 25 years and got rid of everything. Yeah. They're on by. People like, why would you do that? Probably because that corporate master's didn't care about it. It makes sense. They're on by a bike on. Yes, they are. Yeah. It's still on by the way. The corporate master's didn't give it to everybody. It's right. It's like, it's always like when people move to Harlem, they don't want to call to Harlem anymore. So that's, you know, they are racing our history everywhere. What do you tell them? What do I care about these jiggabooons and dinosaurs? Yeah, but you would think something's going to go wrong. It's clear. It's entertainment. We don't know. We don't know. 25 years ago, it was just kind of you and Ms. Cleo and Donnie Simpson. That's it. We don't own them. No. Your friend, too. What's her name? Jackie. Yeah. Jackie Reed. Yeah. But they're doing black news. We went in like a whole bunch of stuff to erase. I don't know. They said it was a lot of interviews. You know what, and that was trending for getting nothing has been more demonstrative of how mothers in America are treated based on how the country sees them. This is a tale of two mothers. One, of course, was a mother who slaughtered all three of her children and she was greeted as a welcoming hero. She was greeted with t-shirts and prayers and lots and lots of money. She murdered her children and they was outpouring of understanding as to how this could happen. The other one is seeking justice for a child she lost and it's a deafening silence. There is a silence that is almost palpable. Someone murders their children and they receive the open arms and understanding. Someone loses a child under mysterious circumstances and they get recrimination and accusations. That is where we are in America. One didn't get the answer they wanted, which was a guilty plea, not guilty plea. The other one didn't get an answer at all as to what definitively happened to my child. It is amazing how our view of what mothers look like depending on our view of them. I've heard people refer to the young woman who murdered her as a loving mother. I don't know that love equates to what I've seen, but I do know that the mother who lost her child and is seeking justice for her child and singing the answer for her child is being derided. Imagine that. Imagine a country that celebrates a mother taking a child that still calls on mother, but derides one who only wants the answers. Nothing is more stark in America than what's going on right now. A tale of two mothers. That's a little note from the GED section. It's the DL Hughley Show. - She's jazz, you know what I'm talking about? She's smooth, it's the jazzy report. I'm an DL Hughley show. - VG has declared a national HIV emergency situation as it grapples with surgeon cases. Partly driven by a growing methamphetamine problem. One in every 60 adults are now estimated to have HIV, bucking a global trend of falling rates of the incurable, retreatable virus. VG declared an outbreak of the virus back in January, 2025. - Bam. - I thought you knew what I was saying. - One, two, three, four. - You mean you might, oh I'm picking up a (beep) today, yeah. - You did it. - It is a romantic honor. - Well, it is, however. - You know they don't have it, VG? - Oh, that's not VG. - VG is beautiful, isn't it? - Yeah. - You didn't want to go there, right? - Yeah, they obviously didn't want to go. Who went to VG? - You went to VG, didn't you? - I don't think so. - When you fell and hit your head, that went VG? - No, I don't think so. - It wasn't VG. - She can't remember. - 'Cause I got a VG. - Oh, yeah. See what happens when you hit fall and hit your head. I had a concussion, I don't remember. - VG. - VG, I thought it was El Segundo. - Okay. - Who is that? - That's a terrible VG. - I've got to run some plates out. Anyway, researchers say they've discovered what makes people more irresistible to mosquitoes and others. People who had recently consumed beer or smoked weed were 44% more attractive to mosquitoes. That's what's going on. - Oh wow. - Yeah. - You hear a mosquito bumping G and in juice. - Yeah. - And they say if you wear sunscreen, you get less mosquito bites. - What? - All right. If you drink what? - I didn't say if you drink. Look at you thinking. - What is it? - That's what if you apply sunscreen. - Yeah. - Skin so soft, that's not true when they bought copious amounts of skin so soft. - Is it not true? - It is not true. - I thought it was actually. - All right, Google, it's not true. - That will, Google. Let me go right now. - So of course people are still talking about your killer. They'll be named an honorary FBI agent. This dude jumped his right. Let me know how, who was it that gave their birth right up for a bowl of bread? - A bowl of bread. - A bowl of bread in the Bible. - There was the two brothers, Esau and who was it? - A bendigo. - No. (laughing) - He gave up a birth right for a bowl of bread. - Basically stew. - Let me look it up for you, bro. - And Shag gave up his prestige for a bag from Paw Patrol. It's crazy. - Oh, there it is. Esau. - That's what I say, Esau. - Esau. - Do you think, many people are crazy because I do feel like, how do you feel about Shag accepting that award? - We plan for many things in life, education, career, travel, retirement. So of course, Shaq accepted an award from Cas Patil, who's probably the worst FBI agent director in history. I don't know how you cross-eyed FBI director. Times going down though, it's right where your eyes meet, it's right there. I don't understand what he got for it, it's so crazy, it's such a, all that prestige, all that cashier. And what they do, they're very good at assessing out who will be amenable to that. They're very good, and they give them trinkets, you know, like what they say, "Tocus, get spin." And they give them to them. I'm not kidding, I'm like, "Hey, he made a move this batch into lamb." And we're going to go to our social media platform, what do they say about this, especially, okay? So we got Jackson from Boston, and Jackson said, "Well, hopefully he can police people better than he can shoot free throws." It's not real, you know, party city, you're going to have a bunch of those badges too. Oh yeah. From Cas Patil, that's what I'm saying. Oh my god. And the thing about it is, when this administration is done, they're going to go down the end for me. It's like Bill Moore accepting the Mark Train Awards. These people are so desperate and crazy, and I don't understand it. Yeah. I agree. Bill Moore, I can see because he's a white guy, and he's kind of getting more maggot-esque as he gets along. And he really wanted that award, and probably the only way he would have gotten it is from Trump. But everybody holds his killing high esteem, and you know, you could tell how he knew how bad it was planned, because he went after OG Matt 510 from up in Oakland, and what he did was call him broke. I mean, everybody doesn't have your, what is, did you shut up that way? In a broke apartment, but you know, full of shut up that way, did you shut off that way? He's straightened to Matt. So first of all, I don't live in an apartment, I live in a house, and I own this house. Right. So I think. I just think your answer, even, was more of a more elitist and more, um, hotty than it needed to be. Yeah. You knew that apparently people are striking in their, if you were confident, you could see that you got nothing for, and I think that when people get into a position like that, what they always do is the snoops and the Nicki Minaj's and the, and the, and the, and the shack, they're, they're held in high esteem in, in the community for, for by and large. Nelly, people, you know, I mean, like them, but it ain't, well, you would, I mean, not luminary. Well, not only that I think you might expect it more from Nelly, then you would shack because didn't shack, uh, uh, drop a shoe for low income people. Yeah. And then it's exactly. Exactly. So I mean, we expect a little bit more from Jack, sorry, but we do. Yeah. I mean, I can see even a, you know, Papa Jones, I can see that there was a fiduciary thing. There was a financial thing. I could keep a component. I can see that transaction. But this, you just got something just for optics. They got a, a optic, uh, a national optic, they're going to train you got played. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that's everything anyway. There's general commercials after all. Yeah, but I don't care. So, you know, I think that's so different. I don't care anything about that. That's fine. You can advertise for the general Papa Jones and everybody else. But this, this right here was, is, was detestable and disgraceful. I thought it was horrible. The only thing worth to this is how bad Papa Jones piece of taste. I'm going to tell you the truth. This dude, this dude, this dude is not picking up the high class that, excuse me, would you say? I said, I'm going to tell you when I was in college, I used to eat some Papa Jones pieces. Okay. Papa Jones is this. Oh, I, come on. Papa Jones. Papa Jones. You know what Papa Jones is? Oh. A proud sponsor of the dude. That's, they are open. Yeah, open. Several locations. Somebody not what they say. There's, there's, there's, there's, there's, there's, there's, there's, there's, there's the college town. They call, they call it, they call it the closing 600 of them. Really? Yeah. And mostly in Arizona, California. Um, Texas and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, Horrible as his decision make all right Lane jumping the countdown is on one boy 2026 hosted by Ricky smiley six days one incredible ship And only a few cabins are left the concerts the food and the experiences you do not want to hear about it afterwards call 214 495 1963 the secure your cabin at this special price log on the one boys cruise dot com for all of the details The question we're asking a lot of the a lot has been made about secure going to Get a fake Paw Patrol badge from a fake FBI director What do you think jazz? I Think that It was a horrible thing to do. I thought it was silly. I know that he's always been obsessed or kind of had this thing about Police departments. I remember when he first decided he was gonna become a police officer somewhere I don't even remember where it was Texas or someplace. I don't know and I thought it was kind of interesting You know because he's such a big guy, but I thought you know, that's what he wants to do with his spare time have at it But this with cash for tell with the things that he said and just just the horrible administration that he represents and works for and you thought It would be an honorable thing to go and chuck and jive in front of these people absolutely not you took on a war from a convicted fellow Yes, I'm a Judicated rapist and somebody credibly mentioned on the Epstein list Mm-hmm. If that badge were real you and in all things being equal you would be arresting them. Yeah The only ceremony you should you guys should be involved in together if that were real. It was an indictment Yeah, and I don't think they have ceremonies for them. Yeah, I mean it's just I don't think they do that, but He's actually has more patches than may free throws Wow It's just crazy. It defies credulity. I'm like, hi, what did you think? You didn't get anything for it for except play Yeah, and if he was Florida. That's where it is when he was a police police officer and in Florida and LA too And Georgia too. Yeah, and Georgia by the way. Yeah, we got it. We do all of that You could do all of that. Yeah, but this whole FBI thing with this particular administration man come on It's basically after what they've done to the black community and the brown community, but they've done deliberately This dude is just today or yesterday Kicks all the media out and and then try to start his own media company Mm-hmm. So he wants to ask his own questions. What's crazy because they cleared the mergers so that his rich friends could buy all the media now you want and And and and the same judge who's tried who tried the case what he tried to do it last time and kick the guy from CNN off is doing it again Yeah, and he's doing state run media. That's a community. That's communist. Yes It is, but he has an affinity for communist. Yeah, that's why it's so interesting that you would call it an honorary He's an honor it. What's honorable about this? Yeah What's honorable about not only the position, but the guy who gave it to you. Yeah, what's honorable about it? It's crazy. Shack took an award from Casper to it with his cross-eyed ass You can't be cross-eyed and drunk Pick his struggle I think that they're very vindictive. I think they've gone after You know the enemies Casper tell us investigating people to talk about. Hey, we're drinking and And he followed them to a bar which I'm just kidding But just the pettiness of this administration and the devastation. It is wrecked upon wreaked upon black people Yeah, and brown people people are in jail right now that you know We have secret police going around and snatching people off the streets and shooting people Isis kills so many people at the beginning of this year. They could have their first episode of first 48 Skip what do you think? I tell you know when we talked about it before I was very disappointed because in all Transparency, I'm friends with Shack have known him for many many many years Been to his house. He's a good and we've honored him so many times for being filleth And philanthropic and giving back to the community human being at a week, but this particular decision. Yeah bad move Well, he's full of philanthropic full of Man, but I know you could be I this is my buddy. Are you asked me about this decision right here? And I think that I and and I don't think this is just the thing you can slough off look how look how blind and and and Willfully dismissive you have to be of all the dissadministration put black people through Look at which and I could honestly even see it if there was something in it for you and There's nothing and I think we're at a point now in this country where lines really are being drawn to the sand You have to choose the side. You have to we saw what happened with the whole situation with Ed Sheeran and and Maclamore You know and and I think the same thing goes for since Trump has been in office a lot of families You know a lot of friends are no longer friends anymore, you know family members are falling out because I think the more that this guy does to this country You have to choose the side and at times like this you choose the wrong side and it's it's gonna haunt you I think it says a lot about this country that more people are angry about the price of gas than the fact that he's Credibly missing on the Epstein that tells you who we are so Shack took a war from cast Battell FBI director of the Trump administration and what do you think going to the phone? Yes, no, I don't believe he should have accepted that award That was that was a sellout move and I've lost respect for Shack since he took the spokesperson role for Papa John That the Papa John's founder was calling those NFL players the inward and here Shack goes thinking okay, yeah I'm I'm your man boss. I'll do it. I do it But no, he could have stood up and said no, we're not gonna accept that will you take your fate and we can take you out of business If if if we want to so no, I don't think he should have accepted that and he needs to stop being a sellout It's really sad to me that there's so many people not just not just Shack or so many people who have money Think it's okay to just abandon their own the rest of the any criticism for doing something like this Like this will just start playing in simple and the fact that he showed up for it And he was defendant and he's still defending it decision to do to to participate like There used to be a time when black people people will call of good and solidarity against things like this And it just sad me because this is like a sign another sign of our current time But people just don't want to stand in solidarity against something that's so wrong It's just wrong to accept any kind of accolades from this administration who who spends most of their time Really like almost all their time degrading and hurting people of color. It's just bad. It's really sad Oh my goodness, I think that Shaquille is who we've been always known. He was He has nothing more than a Complexion guy that used it for a shell to cover for other corporations He's he's always been for sale and these badges. I mean, he's just been we he's been who we thought he was the big Sham cop is just who he is He's nothing more than someone that's willing to sell himself to the highest better and he hasn't met a brand that he wouldn't Sell himself for so when someone tells you who they are believe him Man Shaquille is a shell out in the hands being for years It's a different new and then on top of that he took a piece of it because it was a badge You know, he likes to collect all the badges. I want all the badges But he's still a sell out. I heard he a saved the guy former him being a Portland, you know, I'm saying that Shaquille is a sell out snows a sell out I don't know what it is about Hollywood when you get to a certain point when you get so much money It's to turn your back. Oh reality. Hey Shaquille is a sell out. That's for damn sure What do you think? Shaquille took that the the the honorary badge from Casper till what do you think? I just for the life of me just do not understand the black rich men. I just don't understand them You know, we support these guys. We love these guys The Snoop Dogg the ice cube and now here comes Shaquille alone here I mean you a simple word from I mean, it's a token badge. You're not a real FBI agent Shaquille But you forget about that don't you know this is the same FBI is trying to cover up the Epstein files Shaq this is the same FBI right now Shaq that is lying to us about the war that's in Iraq It's FBI. I mean, you even be associate yourself with this Trump administration with this FBI agent But tell it's amazing to me and I just do not understand these black men be rich black men And you don't think you are getting no pushback from us This man had laid off almost $500,000 black women almost 400,000 black women lost their job There's a ministrations and tie black and Shaquille O'Neal you are Socially yourself with this administration shame on you you forgot what you came from I mean, it's just hard breaking to me You know somebody who support this guy and I've been supporting him for years and since he was in college and now This is what I get in return. I'm just that about the whole thing. Yes me I thought so absolutely not Shaq should not have taken that award I don't understand what's wrong with us black people. We need to stick together and if someone I don't care who it is Is out here disrespecting us? Taking things from us. We should not accept anything from them. No matter what black people please start getting it together We need to stick together. I Feel in my opinion that Shaq should a graciously decline. I cannot accept this during the political Environment that we are in. Once this settles down then we can revisit this, but I have to degratiously bow. Thank you for your honor. But why would he accept it in first place? He shouldn't even pick up the phone and say, "Yeah!" No, he was wrong for accepting it as far as dark and sorry. That's how I feel. So I'm just navigating that every day. Send help. I never want to kids. Because I got a big family, big dysfunctional family. I got 16 nieces and nephews. Yeah, one brother and sister. My brother has seven kids, including two kids. They're the same age. They're not twins. My sister has nine kids, including a set of triplets. There's three kids. You guys know that. Three kids, but there's two fathers. There's two different dudes between the three. One guy father's two of the triplets and another guy father's the other. Wow, how is that possible? Now, I don't know, but probably the same way you find an onion ring in your french fries. No one knows. Still eat that. I hate my nephews. I went out to the Bay Area to celebrate my 35th birthday. And one of my nephews asked me if he could have my laptop when I die. And I was like, bro, it's my birthday. But also, do you know how computers work? Do you know how death works like I plan on being here a minute? You know what I'm saying? I'm a 35-year-old fit, non-smoker, non-rapper. I live in a company neverhood across the street from my whole foods. I plan on being here a minute. You don't think that I'm a outlive of 2016 refurbished MacBook Pro with no space bar? Yes, Facebook. You think that I'm a dive of frostbill and other lights on that? Which would be partly my fault, but also the fault of the Starbucks and San Francisco on 16th and Montgomery Street for having wobbly ass tables when I stood up too fast to take a shit because coffee strikes without warning. But my nephews don't care. So all he knows is like hood-related death. He's like an uncle. What if you get shot? And I was like, why are you so excited? But you're right. I could get shot. I could. But I just exited that 15 to 34-age range where homicide is the leading cause of death of the month's black males. You sir just entered it. So let me get you an Xbox. He's been seen in movies, of course, like Purple Rain, The Adventures of Ford, Fairlaine, and of course Jay and Silent Bob Strikeback. It is not other than Wornstein. Yes, it is. If you say iconic, you think that Bill, right? I like that. I like. I like words like legendary. Yeah. Yeah. It's true. I take them all. I take them all. What do you think that is? What do you think that you are described that way? Well, I think we are fortunate, or I'm fortunate, I say we because I always talk about my fellows too. Right. We've been in the game, man. For a long time, people still love us, still people still come out, check us out. But some of you work in the post office for 40 years, but you're unremarkable. It's not longevity. You can't just subscribe to the longevity. Yeah. You're not understanding what you're saying. That's a tough question. I think you have to be cool. We got to see why you don't be before Steve Harvey made it. I think Steve Harvey knew about Moore's day way back. But you know, like I said, blessed, man, you know, we came across something that people dug. And it was an accident for me as far as I'm concerned because I started out a drummer, you know, had no plans of being a bunch. Frank, man, anything like that. And something happened, I, you know, I ended up getting pushed up front. And I'm kind of glad because drummers ain't making that much money. So I got to get that great solo for a long time. Yeah, you know, we just don't know. Yeah. Two minutes to be like, okay, thanks. But, but you know, one thing led to another, man, you know, a prince was instrumental in pushing me out there. I said, I don't know how to be a frontman. I said, he said, well, be cool. I said, well, he said, put your hand in your pocket. So I did that. If you look at the first video, uh, cool video, my hand was in my pocket. It never left. Right. And then from there, I started branch out, brought the hand out the pocket, started doing the burden, doing things like that. And one thing, just with the mirror. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think that you, uh, in order to, to last as long as you've been, you have to be indelible, right? Like you have to imbue us with who you are. Like we have to, we have to get you, we have to, yeah. And I think, um, you, like everybody felt good, uh, dance to your music, everybody felt like you seem silly and irreverent and fun and dope. Like we didn't even had that word back then. Right. So most of that would have just been in eight, right? So they just saw that part of it, even though you were buying the drum, didn't they? Well, you know, it just really took evolve. And it took taking the thing to, you know, bringing, uh, sense of humor to the music and some personality to the musical. A lot of times you laugh, you didn't take yourself way to, I mean, you played like you took yourself seriously, but you just, I go in and out of seriousness, you know, but that's the whole thing. But, but you're right. You got to, you know, being in comedy, you got to be able to laugh, man, at yourself, you know, and, and some people can't take it. You know, some music is just too serious for me. Like, like what? A lot of it. That's a good description. There you go. So you think a lot of music is a lot of music that you hear right now because you have a discerning, ah, right. So, yeah. So a lot of that would be so serious that you couldn't dig it. I mean, and, and when it's not serious, um, it's, uh, to me, it's, It's just, it's too youthful for me, a lot of it and, you know, that's, you know, say what you will about youthful or what I mean by you, right? But it's, it's a little too, you know, reminds me a lot of you Bruno Mars. Oh. I wonder why. No, honestly, I had never, I had never seen him. Yeah, kids liked him. I was like, oh, I'm in Vegas, I think, says wife was having a birthday party there. They got tickets to Bruno Mars and I was like, damn, that's why I like him. Yeah. Am I, you have you? I can see the influence. So can the floor. And we got the more. The last thing to do. But, but, but Bruno's one of the few people who I really dig these days because I think it brings it. I think he's a great performer. He's a talented songwriter saying, are you name it? He can do it all, man. But does he remind you? Absolutely. Well, you didn't hear the adjectives. I would know what was in my heart. Oh, my God, more say thank you so much for joining us. We really appreciate it. Gregory W.
