Cincinnati Jeopardy

The podcast "Distractable" presents a satirical, humorous exploration of Cincinnati culture through a fictional trivia game called "Easy Jeopardy." Hosted by Bob, with co-hosts Mark and Wade, the episode features absurd questions on local slang, businesses, and landmarks—such as "five-way" chili, the Daniel Beard Bridge, and Totes Isotoner—their answers revealing both shared knowledge and comedic misunderstandings. A recurring theme of absurdity is seen in everyday routines, like deep cleaning bathrooms and stepping on cat waste, which the hosts describe as stressful yet oddly relaxing. The trivia segment ends with Mark outperforming Wade, earning control of the board and the right to host the next episode. The episode also humorously mocks the idea of a mascot, joking that the fridge with glass shards might be the real symbol. The show concludes with a lighthearted tone, emphasizing humor over facts, and promoting its brand-new product, Mavily New York’s setting mist, which promises long-lasting hydration and a natural skin feel. The final message is one of playful competition and community, with the hosts celebrating their shared absurdity and the unpredictable charm of real-life quirks.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Distractable, the last podcast you see before your car goes tumbling into the ravine. That's right. This is the podcast that causes you to wreck your vehicle. I mean, we don't cause it on purpose, but facts are facts, man. I'm your host, my name is Bob, I am hosting because I won last week. I'm joined as always by the two competitors for today's episode, who will be competing to host the next one, and of course, that would be Mark and Wade. "You ever seen a three-headed grim reaper, three-headed, three-sive grim reaper, that's "distractable, not the head on his shoulders, a three-headed, three-penest, three-sive grim reaper, do arms, two legs, three heads, three other heads, two bellybutts for some reason." "They each have their own little cloak as well." "Yeah, yeah. Just two, yeah, two bellybutts." "You got to balance it out somewhere. It's one nose, but six nostrils." "Oooh, you'd hate that." "Why would I hate that?" "The holes." "That's not enough holes. That's not enough holes." "How many holes does that have to be?" "More than six, for sure." "I've never counted." "If we're going to show Mark increasingly more holes," he's like, "Oh, that one." "One, two, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven." "You think you have that phobia, and you go into like your therapist's office, and they show you a video, or it's just like, "One, two, and then doctor's just like. " "Huh? What?" "Eight. It's eight for you." "You look scared at seven, but eight definitely did it." "Uh, there's something something I'm going to have host at the. " "It's small talk. Let's do small talk." "I was immediately going to just jump into the thing, but that's not." "I have breaking sad news. The distractable mascot is being removed. Bucky's decided that it was too close to their logo, and we can no longer have the distractable mascot." "Hmm. This is probably satire, unless." "I didn't even know we had a mascot." "Now that you've put that out there, we're definitely going to cease and desist email coming our way." "What would be our mascot? Would have been our mascot?" "We drew it. Oh! The fridge!" "Uh, yeah. Didn't we draw it? Collectively, the fridge with the shards of glass?" "That's it. Yeah. That is very beaver-esque." "You shut your mouth right now. You're lying." "I would never lie to you, man." "I'm a. " "Oh, I'll do it again." "I would never lie to you, man. Slap yourself." "Oh." "Damn. That was a load." "That's a good one." "That one hurt a little." "It's a. Fortress in the hair for this episode. All my funny is going to be spread out." "Marx the hair." "Yeah. Wait, no. No. I'm the tortoise." "Okay. It can't make way to be there. That's so rude." "No, but my analogy doesn't work the other way around." "It does if you keep losing." "If it's the tortoise in the web, it. " "Okay. That makes more sense. Yeah." "I don't have a carrot. I don't know what else rabbits do other than have carrots and f---." "That's it. Doesn't the two rabbit things?" "The comprehensive list." "This is completely. You know, like. So I used to have a rabbit and like whenever rabbits run, they just kind of like poop as they run. So they lived like little trails, little poops. I went to check the mail and right across the driveway. It wasn't a rabbit. It was a deer that had done the same thing. There was just the trail of turds. It was really gross. "Dear turds are a whole other scale than rabbit turds, though." "Yeah, but the way they plop in like the little pattern, I was like, this reminds me of my rabbit, but like, on steroids, I can see the connection." "My nose. It's buckies and. Deer poop." "Got anything else going on? You want to talk about it? There's not pretty much cover it." "You know rabbits? Anyway, there was this deer." "That was. You know pigs, right? Anyway." "No, man. The last week, we spent doing like. You know how. You keep a house clean. You have to go clean rooms and stuff, but like every now and then you do the deep clean where like you go extra above and beyond to like get every milk and cranny. We've been doing the deep clean, and I spent five hours cleaning bathrooms yesterday, like five hours straight. Molly has like little makeup kit things where it's like, you know, different brushes and cases of makeup and stuff. I went and I took each piece out and individually dusted and cleaned it and then I cleaned each holder and stuff and then went through and cleaned the light fixtures and literally everything else and I'm so sore. The bot. I've never had the bottom of my feet hurt so bad. I guess I should have worn like some kind of shoes or something all doing it. "Can I wear your house shoes, man?" "Yeah, I didn't. I was just barefoot on tile and I'm feeling it today. I'm feeling it." That's it. I cleaned bathrooms. That's been my life for the last week. I don't know how, but somehow for me that deep, deep cleaning is on some level it's like really relaxing because you just sort of like zone out and get really into doing, but also on a higher level it's like my fucking nightmare because I'm terrible at like being careful and paying attention when also I'm zoned out doing the same thing over and over and over again. And I'll just like not clean a whole, I don't know, like I'll be in the bathroom and then not clean the mirror and then come out and be like, "Bathroom's done and Mandy looks in." And it's like, "Fuck, it's not. Try again." For me it's different. I start off and I'm really focused and I'm like putting all this effort in, but like just like with games and other stuff, like I'll get like three quarters of the way done and then all of a sudden my brain's like, "All right, we need to be, I'm done with this. I don't want to do this anymore. We're done. We got to speed along." And I've like forced myself to finish. I don't know. I'm like that with games too. I'll play a video game like non-stop for like a week and then I'll get almost through the game and I'm like, "All right, well, I can't launch that game ever again. Time to move on to something else." And I don't know what that is, but I have that where it's just like, "All right, I've thoroughly clean 90% of this bathroom, just a little bit left." "Oh, couldn't possibly know, please don't make me finish." I don't know. A weird pick. I've not wanted to finish things, but it's done. I did it. Good job. I have some jokes for that. I'm not going to say them. You hate points, Phil? Yeah. You could get points. No, no, no. It would be crass. And I'm not crass. Oh. I'm not going to do it. I am. I cleaned poop all week and then I walked across poop on the driveway. I've got poop everywhere, not my own, well, unless I did a cat suit. So I ran out to grab food before we started recording as you guys know, coming back down the stairs. Our cat pooped on the stairs again. I almost stepped it on the way to my office. I had to clean that up. Yeah, but he's old. Yeah. It's understandable. He always does it right in my path. I think it's intentional. I think he hates me. Isn't that just how cats are? That they generally kind of hate you, even if they like you. They also hate you. I hear, I think a lot of other cats do this, but he also is a thing we'll cut you off when you're going up or down stairs, specifically like he's trying to trip you. Like he does that. I think she's just a tiny dog who has no special awareness because she's mostly deaf and going blind slowly. I think his is intentional. She was holding a knife while he did it. Interesting. That's a strong sign in the mouth or duct tape to the balls. Nah, the hand, the hand sticking straight out of his butthole behind him for safety. His hand is, yeah, interesting, having had a cat in a while. The butthole hand is human hand, an awful image, all of these have been awful images. Yeah, that's across the line, though, man. Come on. I sure hope this small talk gets animated. I'm sure it will. Anyway, good small talk. Mark really did share a lot of the points with Wade on that one, but sometimes you're the generous one, you know? So that's okay. That's me. That's what they call me. Anyway, guys, I have a game for you today that I am tentatively calling easy jeopardy. Uh oh. No, wait, I got bad vibes. This is a thing that a person online made on the website, jeopardylabs.com. It's literally, it's just trivia. It's just jeopardy. It's a place where you can go and make your own jeopardy games. This one is called Cincinnati jeopardy. Oh my. So unfair. I haven't been there in years. I don't even remember this city. It's okay, Mark. I don't know much about my own town anyway, either so I'm fine. It's fine. It's fine. There's only 12 questions. Remember when we were like talking about all the incredible things about society coming here and we didn't even hit like half of the things that Cincinnati were all from here and didn't remember any of them. Oh my god. Don't worry. Don't worry. It's easy. Where do my notes go? All right. I guess I don't get to have notes. I'll take other notes. That's fine. It's easy and there are only three categories which we like to hear today's categories. Yes. Mm-hmm. You don't have a choice. I don't know. I asked you. Okay. The first category is SINCEY SLANG. Then we have headquartered here. And then finally we have things to do. Can I write those down? Yeah. That's probably not a terrible idea actually. And you may pick for one, two, three or four hundred point dollars. Four hundred point dollars. We're usually dollars on the show, aren't they? Wait, what was the before, right? Things to do since Eddie Slang? No, there was three. There was three categories. Okay, okay, I've got those. - I'm gonna flip my coin of confusing sides. Today, Waitie is the lady, and that is a lion. - Hi! - I don't know if it's gonna focus, but it is a lion, which means Mark gets to pick first. You have control of the board. Easy, jeopardy. Easy. I looked at the questions. I know you guys got this. - Uh-huh. Okay. Can I call you Bob? - My name's Bob. - Bob, yes, I call you Bob. - My name is Bob, that still works here, yes. - Thanks, Bob. Can I get headquartered here for 200? I don't know what the strategy is for picking numbers that don't begin at the beginning, but I just want to-- - Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do - I don't have any money. - No, that was just the regular sound. Sorry, I forgot. - Oh, oh, okay. I thought that was the daily devil. - I don't watch it pretty enough to know that there's no daily devil. There's no daily devil. - Oh, okay. Okay. All right. That's what I said. We're just answering the question that we select, right? We're not beeping in. Do we have to answer in the form of a question? - You may steal if the first person gets it wrong. - Sure. That's fine. - You have to answer in the form of a question unless I don't notice. - Good caveat. Mark, headquartered here for 200, the answer is this privately held Cincinnati company makes drinks that boast, quote, "a full day supply of vitamin C." What is-- what is angry orchard? Wait, do you have a guess? - You repeat the question. - This privately held Cincinnati company makes drinks that boast, quote, "a full day supply of vitamin C." - What is "unni-delighted"? - Oh my god, that is correct. Damn, it's in Cincinnati. The "sunni-delight" beverages company is a Cincinnati company. - I couldn't think of the other orange juice I could only think of sunny. I was going to say the other one. - I was just banking that angry orchard had a non-beard division or something like that. - So that was just a guess? - Yeah, it was the only orange-- I couldn't think of-- - Is it called simply orange? Is that the one I couldn't think of? - I mean, Tropicana simply orange. - I literally could only think-- I was like, I think that's orange juice. The only way I could think of a sunny delight because the song came into my head. - And also they don't grow oranges in Ohio, so it would have to be a non-or-- It makes sense. It makes sense. I just didn't know that they were headquartered in Cincinnati. I thought I was a shoe-in for that category. - What a lucky guess. - That's $200 points for weight. - Wait, do you have control of the board? - Damn it. - Ah, let's go headquartered here for $300. - And the answer is, manufacturers and markets, umbrellas, gloves, rainwear, rubber rain boots, and other weather-related accessories. - Ah, it's not Skyline chili. - As the host, I'm not supposed to give clues, but I will say, this is a very big brand, but also you guys have no fucking hands. I've never-- I didn't know this was a Cincinnati company. - What is Lulu Lemon? - Mark Tostil. - What is Brooks Brothers? - The correct answer is, Toats Isotoner. - Oh, that was my next guess. - Oh, my God. - Toats Isotoner? - Toats as in storage, Toats, and Isotoner as in Isotoner gloves. - Which is a big brand. - Is it? - Is it really? - It is. - Big brand is. - Why haven't they advertised on Distractable? - Well, that's a good question. - I was ready for the answers to be Skyline Chili, Gold Star Chili. - I told you guys, this is sissy stuff. This is real easy. - I'm a fake fan. - But it's fine, and you know what? I'm not going to subtract points from your score, like they do on real jeopardy. - You're just lose control of the board for getting a wrong answer. So Mark, your choice. I think our strategy was wrong. I got to start on the easiest ones. I'll take headquartered here for 100. - Yes. - So I can get to a single dollar. - The United States largest supermarket by revenue, and the second largest general real retailer behind Walmart. - What is Groger? - That is correct. - All right, I'm on the board. - Yes. - Good one, Mark. Good one. - See, I knew you guys had this. It's still my turn, right? - Yes, yes. - All right, give me Cincinnati slang for 100. - Oh, damn it. He is smart. I am smart. - Frays often used when asking someone to repeat themselves. - Oh, in Cincinnati, yeah. It's please, right? What is please? - That is correct. - All right, yeah. 'Cause, yeah, I know there's many stories where people from Cincinnati were like, I guess it's probably nearby region have people misinterpret it because they're like a job interview or something like this, like, didn't hear something. They go, "Please." - I still find that confusing. It does not happen a lot at every time. 'Cause for anyone who can't envision it, it's literally, you'll literally be like, "Hey, I'm looking for the bathroom." Like, whatever, you're in a store or something. Like, "Hey, excuse me, like, where's the bathroom?" And the person just looks at you and is like, "Please?" "Yes, please. Please, I'm looking for the bathroom. I'm sorry, I didn't use the magic word. It helped me." - Yeah, yeah. - It's just, I don't do that. - I hear I'm sorry more often than not when someone wants you to repeat something like, "I'm sorry?" It's like, "Oh, okay, I'll tell you again." - No, no way, you're not real Cincinnati. - Yeah. Mark's real Cincinnati. That's why he is control of the board. - That's why I got control of the board. - Oh, damn it. Go ahead, quarter here for 400. No balls. - No, yeah, no balls. I got none. - Thanks to do for 100. No! - No, right. - God damn it. I'm never going to get to the point. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and delicacies of all kinds await you in this historic farmer's market in the heart of the city. Oh, you should definitely know this one. Oh, it's not, it's not called. I said 100, right? You heard that, right? 100. Please, please. It's really close to the University of Cincinnati where we all lived close by there and did attend. The Dan, what is the Danberry Dollar Saver Farmer's market? So close, but that is incorrect. Way do you know this one? - I've been there. I was there like two years ago. Is, okay, I've got a guess. I don't know if it's the one you're referencing. Is it Finley Market? What is Finley Market? - That is correct. That now that I hear the name, yeah, that makes more sense. If you don't actually go there, I get why I don't ever think about it. But it is, that is a pretty like big thing. - I think Molly's parents wanted to go down. So Molly and her parents and I went down a couple of years ago. - All right. - Wade was a lucky guess. I mean, with an answer, he knew we have control of the board. - Let's go things to do for 200. I mean, he's Mark's strategy. - Uh-huh. - That's a long one. I mean, you got this. With 80 or so galleries, art lovers can stroll through dozens of galleries. Works spend 6,000 years and feature pieces from renowned artists, such as Warhol, Bengal, Picasso, Rembrandt, and Gainesbro. Special exhibitions are offered year round. - What is Cincinnati Art Museum? - I fucking ate it. That's correct. - It's actually correct. - It's called the Cincinnati Art Museum. - Yes. - It is called the Cincinnati Art Museum. - Damn it. I knew that one. - Did I have luck in the two of these? - Oh my god. - That's fine. Oh, man. Don't worry. I got 200 bucks. - Oh, man. Don't worry. We're going to have them get any more. Unless it's called Cincinnati Answer Something. - That's a very convenient one. It's good. - Oh, things to do for no wait, hold. Yeah, I'm going to go balls. Things to do for 300. - Answer is. During football season, this is one of the hottest spots in town. The city's beloved Bengals play at this facility that's located just west of the Great American Ballpark and just one block from the Ohio River. The stadium spans 22 acres and has 65,535 seats. - What is Paycore Stadium? Formerly known as Paul Brown. - I'm going to check this right now. Yes. That is correct. - Be real awful if it wasn't currently called Paycore. Oh, you're thinking of the Crypto.com stadium. I was thinking that might have changed, but yeah, I was like, "It's the crack in Crypto bro, never do." - No, but. - I actually don't know how long it's going to be called Paycore. I know they signed it like two years ago to get borrower signed, but I don't remember how long the thing was. - Well, that's what I was thinking is. I was kind of thinking it's going to change at some point here. - I'm both like, "Come on, that's a $300 question." And also, "Well, I didn't know what that was, so. " - Yeah, that's tough luck, because Wade only knows that because he's a big football fan. - I buy tickets to go in there, yeah. - And only one of you co-hosts a sports podcast. And I think we both know who that is. - Me, right? It's me. - What is who is me? Things to do for $400. Can I call you Bob too? - You can call me Mr. M. - Mr. M? - Things to do for $400? - Yeah. - This building, once the tallest in Cincinnati, was erected Giggity in 1931. The Art Deco building houses tower play small and a hotel. Spectacular views from the observation deck. - Oh, I've been here too. What is big, big building? Man, I hate that that's right. Oh, yeah! No, obviously, that is incorrect. Mark, do you know this one? It would be really bad if I didn't given that my wedding. You didn't have to host anything in this building in the last year, did you? I could. [laughs] Uh-huh, I-I-I-I-I-I-I know we were just there! [both laugh] Man, Mark's in more trouble than just with Cincinnati. Hold on, hold on, hold on. He's just walking through his mind palace, trying to locate the correct information. What is the Netherland Plaza? Ooh, sorry, that is incorrect. That better not be! Oh, god. That may be what that area is called, but the building itself is called the Karoo Tower. I didn't hear that, I don't know what that is. Yeah, I don't know the name, I feel a little bit better. I don't know what that is, I don't know what that is all about. Yeah, all right, all right, all right, all right. I don't know. What's the Netherland Plaza then? Is that just the. The Netherlands? [both laugh] It's a country, Mark! It's a country! Right, right, okay, you're right. I got them confused. When you first get to the country, you go to the Plaza, then they let you in. Uh, it's part of the Karoo Tower complex. It's the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza is the historic Art Deco hotel located inside the tower. Okay, all right, it makes sense. So I feel like people could give me a pass on this one and I can lose it. Yeah, you totally remembered it. That just wasn't helpful to you in the game itself. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly, yeah. What was it called? It's Karoo, like, you know, whenever you're on a plane of the flight, Karoo. Ha, ha, funny, joke, Wade! That's funny. Yeah, there you go. Mark and I were just syncing it up. All right, okay. Balls headquartered here for 400. In 2007, this Fortune 100 company changed its name from Federated Department stores to this iconic name. Int, they announced in February, they'll be closing their downtown Cincinnati headquarters. Say, I don't know how up to date this is. So it might not be this February that that was announced. What was the old name of it again? Federated Department stores. Okay, so it's kind of a department store of some type. What is. Coles? I'm sorry, that's incorrect. Wade, do you know this one? I know this one! Oh, wait! What is pop-pop-pop-pop? What is, oh. Day-no-hoor. What is, what is, what is, years? The correct answer is Macy's. Macy's was headquartered in Cincinnati? I thought Macy's was older than that. I did not know that either. It's always a new York thing to me because Macy's Thanksgiving a parade. Yeah! That's what I was thinking. I thought of Macy's like, no, Macy's as much older and not since then, Eddie. Whoa. Whoa. Wait, Macy's only called Macy's starting in '07? I think the stores were called that, the parent company. Oh, that's what threw me off. I was like, no, there's been like a Macy's day parade for like 100 years or something weird. So like, no, it can't be that. That was the first department store I thought I was like, no, I can't be that. 100 years or something weird. Fuck! I thought that'd be so stupid if I said Macy's. Oh, I think I broke this rule in the last time. But since everyone got that wrong way, you get to pick now because I was doing that before. Oh, I was going with it. Yeah, we've been doing it. Oh, I think we've been doing it that way. Okay, good. Oh, since Daddy slang for 300 right in the middle. Oh, my God. Nick named the Big Mac bridge for its resemblance to McDonald's Golden Arches. Oh. There's only so many bridges down there. So, you know, I'm sure you know all their names. Yeah, it's like you just told me the name of it. I should just repeat what you said, but that can't be it. What's the actual name of the bridge that is nicknamed the Big Mac bridge? Yeah, yeah. Well, when you're walking around down there, people are always like, you know, go down. What is old Yeller? No. You have to have a gun on the bridge. You go to the middle of the gun. Look at the water. We're going to bind the shed. Seems like a bridge nobody would want to walk on. Mark, do you know? I only know one name. I don't even know if this is a bridge, but what is the Brent Spence? That's the big highway one. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. What is the purple people mover bridge? That is a different one, and I don't think that's this one. The Big Mac bridge is officially known as the Daniel Beard Bridge. Never heard that in my life. I would have never kissed that. Well, no. Famous Cincinnati. Canadian. These are the reason we have beards. All right. Here we go. Mark's choice. Also, how's that slang? I don't know. I don't get these. Oh, God. Well, you had to know the slang to then get the, because the answer was so easy. Everyone wouldn't just know the answer, obviously. Go on. I'm balls. I'm balls. Cincinnati slang for 400. The shortcut for ordering Cincinnati style chili with spaghetti, raw onions, kidney beans, and cheddar cheese. Is there another name for this? Wait, say it again. This is the shortcut for ordering Cincinnati style chili with spaghetti, raw onions, kidney beans, and cheddar cheese. I'm like, the way that I would order it is pretty short as is. Why would I need a shortcut? Is this a trick? Are you tricking me? What the fuck? Is that your answer? Do you see it? Does it? Do I see my thing kind of a guy who would trick you? I honestly have. What the fuck? I don't know. What is a five-way? That's correct. It's a five-way. Oh, okay. I was about to say it. Like, what the fuck? That was for 400. Daniel Beard was free. I was like, that's the only way I know it. And it's like, I was like, this really short. So it'd probably that. Well, but right. That's the shortcut because if you sit down and go, I want a way with onions and beans and cheese. Like, if you say all the things that you want, you'll still get it. But it's called a five-way. That's the shorthand for it. Yeah. Yeah. It's a five-way. Yeah. I just can't believe that's a 400 question. That's why it felt like a trick to me, too. I was like, well, no, it's a 400 question. There's. I think that was. I think that was the idea. Because if anyone from Cincinnati was answering it, it would seem like a trick. Because you're like, that's only called one thing. There's no other thing. I was trying to think of Gold Star. Like, called it something else. I'm like, whoa. I don't know how else I would order that. Like, give me a skinny with the fixings. Like, because with the four-way, you have to pick onions or beans. And you have to tell them, OK, all right. So still mine, right? Yeah, but there's only one left on the board. Choose carefully. All right. Last one. Daily double. Come on. 200. Since he's slang for 200, Pepsi and Coke are known as soda to most of the world. But in Cincinnati, this slang term reigns supreme. What is pop? That is correct. Which is funny because I don't call it that. I think I call it soda mostly, but I guess that's wrong. Soda pop. I say both. I usually just say which one I want. But I like never say pop. Same pop sounds weird to me. I feel like I said pop more and I was younger. I think I say soda more now. I can't believe Daniel Beard was sandwiched between those two. That is all of the questions off the board. Let me just double check here. Mark, we won. I feel good. We are Cincinnati still. Yeah, right. We definitely didn't miss a lot of those. You missed four of them, which is one third. And I did say this was easy, jeopardy. So of course, we have to keep going until you're able to answer all of them correctly. Oh. What did you think I meant when I said easy, jeopardy? Oh, no. What's the bridge name? Oh, no. I thought you're being nice. You only miss four. You only have to remember a couple things, really? Oh, no. What do you get to? The other one gets two. You're all done. How hard could it be? And I told you the answers. I told you it was easy. I got damn it. When will we learn? When will we learn? When will we learn? I don't know, man. Mark got the last one's correct. So I guess Mark has control of the board. Unfortunately, in my final, jeopardy, you don't get to pick. You have to answer the question that I give you. Okay. Headquartered here for 300. This company manufactures and markets. Umbrella's. Loves. Rainwear. Rubber rain boots. And other weather-related accessories. I forgot about this question. Oh. Oh, what is totesand in six interlopers? Totesand impressionables. Totesand in. Out. Not out. Ah, fuck. Totesand in and out. Ah. So close. So close, but that's not it. Wait. Do you know this one? You just say no if you're sure that you don't know. What is tote meal? That's incorrect. Oh, of course the answer is totesisatoner. Everybody remembers that. Of course. Isatoner was on the tip of my tongue. Alright, wait. You get to answer. Things to do for 400. Oh, no. This building, once the tallest in Cincinnati, was erected in 1931. We were just sorry. about it. We talked about it a lot because Mark was surprised he didn't hear that name because he knew the other stuff about the place. I made my Netherlands joke. What is Kuru Tower? That is correct. I would have gotten that. I would have gotten it. Yeah, Mark looked like he knew that one too. I only got there because you two spent like a few seconds like trying to pronounce it. I was like, what was that thing? They were saying Kuru, Karu, Karu. We were pronouncing it fine. You were the one pronouncing it weird. Kuru! All right. Mark, you get to answer. Headquartered here for 400. In 2007, this fortune 100 company changed this name from Federated Department stores to this iconic name. And they announced in February of some year that they will be closing their downtown Cincinnati headquarters. What is Macy's? That's correct, bizarre, bizarre. I was surprised that the ones that you guys got right because I was thinking some of these would be really funny. The Macy's one, I was like, they're going to remember that. That's super weird. That's an interesting fact about Cincinnati. Uh, wait. You get to answer since he's slang for 300. Nicknamed the Big Mac Bridge for its resemblance to McDonald's Golden Arches. What is Daniel Beard? That's right. You can tell my confidence level without quiet, I spoke. I knew Daniel, but I did not remember Beard. I remembered my beard joke. I could remember Daniel for sure. Well, man, between you two, you guys had that one completely locked down. It's Mark's board again. What board? Well, actually, we should, we should swap because, uh, you got no, no, no, we should stick with Mark's board. Don't ask me that question. You're right. It's, it's Wade's board again because there's one question we still haven't gotten right. Wade, headquartered here for 300. No, I'm already forgotten. This company, manufacturers and markets, umbrellas, gloves, rainwear, rubber rain boots, and other weather-related accessories. I told this answer to you two minutes ago. What is to tow underboot? Oh, man, so close, so close. I'm sorry, that's not correct. Gel to mist technology locks in your look for up to 24 hours with flexible all-day comfy grip. Just plump, dewy, hydrated skin. That still feels like your skin. Maybe it's Mavily. God, what an idiot, right? What a dumbass. Mark, I told this to you two minutes and 30 seconds ago. So really, you get a little bit more of a break than Wade did. Yep. Totes. Oh, and interstellar. Don't tell us the answer, Bob. I think I got it. Oh, my God. This is the final question. So I'm just going to let you go back and forth. I'm sure that Wade has this. Wait, do you need me? Do you want me to read the clue again? Or do you have it in your head? No, no, no, I got it. They have umbrellas and boots, and they are. Yes, yes. Totes, isotopes. God, damn it. My turn. Yeah, Mark, do you have another guess? You're allowed to listen to each other's guesses and see if that helps. What the fuck in it's in something, right? Oh, man, they're in Cincinnati. That's funny. Totes and isotoner. What is totes and isotoner? That is correct. I'm going to just pretend that you had a hiccup in the middle there because the answer is totes isotoner. Oh, oh, what is totes isotoner? No, no, I already justify giving it to Mark. Oh, they get so much more business if they were totes iso, iso boob. Can I look up totes isotoner? Do you have any other questions about it? No, you can look up whatever. That is the end of the jeopardy. We have successfully answered all of the questions. Easy, like I said, it would be from the very beginning. Weird. Weird. So there's an isotoner.com, and then there's a totes.com, but they're their company, a totes isotoner. Yeah, they're sort of branded as two companies. But isotoner, like gloves and outerwear stuff is like a pretty big, like it's in coals and macy, like it's in all the like department stores and stuff. I have heard of isotoners as like a nationwide brand previously. I don't know what totes is, totes literally like storage totes or is it like loves and shit? I don't know, I think about that. It's just a name for the boots and stuff. Totes brands includes other umbrellas for footwear ponchos. I don't know if isotoner has a different one. Oh, you put easy in the name. I should have known easy, 20 easy questions. I knew it and I still didn't, I still didn't get it. It was right there. They have nice looking flip flops on the totes website. See, oh, and they have hats. Look at that. Sunny D in Rome, yum, yum. Yeah, I was a little surprised you got Sunny D right off the rip. I was hoping that one would go, would go to the. It was the only vitamin C product I could think of the name of and it was only because the song came in my head. I mean, honestly, you guys did really good. I was hoping that like, we'd end up with like six-ish fists and you did better than I expected. You only missed four of them. I guess I should have had more questions. I was afraid that was going to go on and on, but it's going to have to be 50 easy questions next time. Look, but if I do it, I'll tell you at the beginning, this is 50 easy questions. You can take notes. You can write stuff down. It's totally fine. I'm sure you won't get bored halfway through and stop remembering to write stuff down and still have questions you'll never remember the answer to. I'm sure that won't happen. I'm sure. I'm sure. I guess the game is what the game is. I was thinking that'd go a little longer. This might end up being a little bit of a short episode, but that's fine. Sometimes you got smart contestants. That's fun. Dense. Dense of funny. Really, really funny. The funny per minute is huge. So you got to end it quick. Our ratio is going down. There's no funny from here on out. You guys are points four. Oh, Mark, Mark and points four. Slap yourself. Can I call you Bob? You got Kroger, please five way pop maces and totes isotone or correct? Wait, you earned points four. You would hate that about the holes. You burned buckies because take that. Was that the shocking part? And also your shocked escalations of your reactions. Then you got Sunny Delight, Finley Market, Sinsy Art Museum, Paker Stadium, Karoo Tower, and the Daniel Beard Bridge. Correct. Making the final score 10 for Wade and one two. Oh, nine for Mark. It was closer than I thought it would be. Hey, I still got a chance. Wade did really good in the small talk, but you guys were very competitive with the trivia stuff. Just a little unfair that he got the slaps. Oh, oh, no. Oh god, damn it. I didn't mean to do that. Well, I just think I slapped myself, but he got the point. I didn't hurt. But I, I, you know, okay, so it was the delivery, though, because you were to say there, Mark, just went slap yourself and you did. Let's see if it is. Okay. So either I get a point for slapping myself or he gets to, he gets an extra point for me slapping me. Well, decide exactly what happens if we have to right now. The flip is about the slapping yourself point to situation. I want head. I got the lady. That's heads. Oh, I got tails. Oh, I got tails. Okay. Yeah. Oh, thank god. Nothing happens. We almost have to give Mark extra points. It's fair enough. Well, score is 10 to nine and it's time for the wheel. Wheelie wheel gets the grease. That's what I always say. Yep. And of course, we're going to have three bonus spins because why wouldn't we? That's what I'm talking about. How could we possibly not have three bonus spins? How about do the most trivia? That'll come up a lot. Yeah. That's pretty obscure. Oh, I got one. Said my name in the episode. That does not always happen. But today, Mark did ask what he should call me and decided to call me Bob, which I do appreciate. All right. I said it again later, but what's his do? Said Bob first in this episode. Okay. So every episode we got to be eating, drinking, making call backs. Say Bob. I got it. The host has a real advantage. Why would I say my own name? I'm Bob. Join us always with my co-hosts. Mark and Wade. Oh, that's true. I do that every time, unless I don't. We got a hundred and twenty two options here. I'm sure nothing bad will happen, especially not to be actually balled the markets at first. That's true. Oh, that is true. Spin number one is sudden death. It's a tie. Five. I guess that's it for the spins. Who's easy? Okay, no more spins need to happen. Now we need to go to the winners' wheel, which is currently at 10% 10% of 360. Wait, I could do this. Does it increase in the beginning or the end, I can't remember. I think afterward, right? We add 2% after the spin is what we've been doing, right? - I don't know. - Okay, remember. 'Cause we spun it not too long ago and it was 8%. You spin, then you add, so it's more for the next person. 'Cause we added after the spin I did. So yeah, it's after. Yeah, it was 8% for you and now it's 10%. That wouldn't happen, he said. (sad music) - I knew it. - I knew it. - Ah, feels good, feels good. Feels good, feels very good. - Well, feels terrible. - Mark wins and everything is fine because it's not a one-man show, holy fuck. All right, that means I had a note this down. It is now 12%. Noted Mark wins is written in the book. - All right. - Wade, loser speech. I had this in the bag. I went through all the different phases of being shocked. Slap myself, I knew some good trivia, but fate has decided that today would be unfair. And I can say that word safely now because I accidentally already used it. So unfair, unfair, fair, fair, fair, fair, fair. That's it, that's it for me. - Yeah, it only happens once, you're good. It's in the Constitution, so it's basically God's rules at this point. - One easy win, my episode. - Thanks, loser. Mark, winner speech. - Wow, fate really loves me and me alone. The world conspired to allow me to win and I take that. I will humbly take that and unhumbly take this win. Both is how I feel right now. I deserve it and I don't and I'm okay with that. Thank you, universe, for smiling upon me like you have every day of my life. - For listeners, I'm thumping up. - Oh yeah, no, yeah, he's thums up. He's thums uping real big and big smile. - For viewers, I'm thumping down. - He's double thumping down, thumzing, thumzing down, thum bouncing, thum bouncing, thum bouncing, thum bouncing. - I think it's thumma pie. - Thank you for listening or watching. No, listening to or watching this episode. I'm just shocked, I was sure it was gonna be a one-man show. I could feel it, but then the universe was like, no, no, we like Mark and they did what was right. So congratulations to Mark, that means he's gonna host the next one.
