Cincinnati Jeopardy

A promotional segment from The Home Depot highlights a limited-time 10% discount on installed carpet projects from trusted brands, with pricing as low as 49 cents per square foot, making home upgrades more accessible. This is contrasted with a satirical investigation into the influence of lemon in consumer culture, where 7-Up launches a new lime-lemon soda to counter a long-standing "Lemonati" propaganda. Meanwhile, Kroger promotes its points program, allowing customers to save on groceries and gas with personalized digital offers, enhancing value and convenience. The main content of the episode is the podcast Distractible, which features hosts Bob, Mark, and Wade engaging in absurd, self-deprecating humor. They participate in a mock "Cincinnati Jeopardy" game featuring local trivia, including facts about the city’s slang, landmarks, and businesses like Sunny Delight, Finley Market, and the Karoo Tower. The episode also includes humorous anecdotes about deep cleaning, cat-related messes, and a playful "hole phobia" challenge. The hosts mock their own hosting dynamics, including a fictional mascot removal and a three-headed Grim Reaper, while joking about the absurdity of local knowledge. The final score is narrowly in Mark’s favor, and he is announced as the new host, with the episode ending on a lighthearted, chaotic note. The content blends satire, humor, and real-world consumer promotions into a uniquely entertaining format.

Lemon-forward sodas. Even lemon-forward songs. We ran the tracks, slowed them down, reversed them, and squeezed out the truth. That's lemon propaganda right there. But now, 7-Up is fighting back with their new lime-lemon soda. Join the 7-Up rising. Flip the sip. Now at Kroger, your points add up to more ways to save every trip. Use them your way to take dollars off groceries at checkout or save at the pump. You can even save up to $35 on your next fill-up. Same points, more choices. And with low prices on fresh, quality food, plus digital and personalized offers tailored to how you shop, your dollar goes further. Redeem your points online or in the app. Kroger. Fresh for everyone. Restrictions apply. See site or store for details. Good evening, gentle listeners or watchers, and welcome to Distractible. This episode, Beaverloving Bob takes the lads to task over their own hometown. Woeful Wade gives bad news, dies, slaps someone, talks turds and toilets, but knows his arts and towers. Multinostraled Mark doesn't know Sonny, but succeeds in slang. From automobile events to unhumbled humble. Ha-ha-ha-ha-has, it's time for Cincinnati Jeopardy. Now sit back and prepare to be distracted and enjoy the show. Hello and welcome back to another episode of Distractible, the last podcast you see before your car goes tumbling into the ravine. That's right. This is the podcast that causes you to wreck your vehicle. Allegedly. I mean, we don't cause it on purpose. But facts are facts, man. I'm your host. My name is Bob. I am hosting because I won last week. I'm joined, as always, by the two competitors for today's episode. Who will be competing to host the next one? And, of course, that would be Mark and Wade. Ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You ever seen a three-headed Grim Reaper? Three-headed, three-sithed Grim Reaper. That's Distractible. Not the head on his shoulders. Huh? Nothing. A three-headed, three-penis, three-sithed Grim Reaper? Grim Reaper, watch out. Two arms, two legs, three heads, three other heads. Two belly buttons, for some reason. They each have their own little cloak, as well. Yeah, yeah. Just two, yeah, two belly buttons. You gotta balance it out somewhere. It's one nose, but six nostrils. Ooh. You'd hate that. Why would I hate that? Isn't that the holes? That's not enough holes. How many holes does it have to be? More than six, for sure. I've never counted. We're gonna show Mark increasingly more holes, so he's like, oh, that one. Oh, one. Oh! One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. You think you have that phobia, and you go into, like, your therapist's office, and they show you a video where it's just like, boop, one, boop, two, boop, and the doctor's just like, huh? Eight! It's eight for you! You look scared at seven, but eight definitely did it. Something, something, I'm gonna host a. Small talk, let's do small talk. I was immediately gonna just jump into the thing, but that's not. I have breaking sad news. The distractible mascot is being removed. Bucky's decided that it was. It was too close to their logo, and we can no longer have the distractible mascot. This is probably satire, unless. I didn't even know we had a mascot. Now that you've put that out there, we're definitely got a cease and desist email coming our way. What would be our mascot? Would have been our mascot? We drew it. Oh, the fridge! Uh, yeah, didn't we draw it collectively? The fridge with the shards of glass? That's it, yeah. That is very beaver-esque. You shut your mouth right now. You're lying. I would never lie to you, man. I'm gonna. Oh, I'll do it again. Slap yourself. Oh. Damn, that was loud. Ooh, that's a good one. That one hurt a little, yeah. It's, uh, tortoise in the hair for this episode. All my funny is gonna be spread out. Mark's the hair. Yeah. Wait, no, no, I'm. I'm the tortoise. You can't make Wade be the hair. That's so rude. No, but my analogy doesn't work the other way around. It does if you keep losing. If it's the tortoise in the web, it. Okay, that makes more sense. Makes more sense, yeah. I don't have a carrot. I don't know what else rabbits do other than have carrots and fuck. That's it. Those are the two rabbit things. The comprehensive list. This is completely unreal. You know how, like, so I used to have a rabbit, and, like, whenever rabbits run, they just kind of, like, poop as they run, so they leave, like, little trails, little poops. I went to check the mail, and right across the driveway, it wasn't a rabbit, but it was a deer that had done the same thing. There was just the trail of turds. It was really gross. Deer turds are a whole other scale than rabbit turds. Yeah, but the way they plop in, like, the little pattern, I was like, this reminds me of my rabbit, but, like, on steroids. I can see the connection. My name is Buckies and Deer Poop. Got anything else going on you want to talk about, or does that pretty much cover it? You know rabbits. Anyway, there was this deer. That was in my heart. You know pigs, right? Anyway. No, man, the last week we've spent doing, like, you know how you keep a house clean, you have to go clean rooms and stuff, but, like, every now and then you do the deep clean, where, like, you go extra above and beyond, to, like, get every nook and cranny. We've been doing the deep clean, and I spent five hours cleaning bathrooms yesterday. Like, five hours straight. And Molly has, like, little makeup kit things, where it's, like, you know, different brushes and cases of makeup and stuff. I went and I took each piece out and individually dusted and cleaned it, and then I cleaned each holder and stuff, and then went through and cleaned the light fixtures and literally everything else, and I'm so sore. I've never had the bottom of my feet hurt so bad. I guess I should have worn, like, some kind of shirt. or something while doing it. You gotta wear your house shoes, man. Yeah, I didn't. I was just barefoot on tile, and I'm feeling it today. I'm feeling it. That's it. I cleaned bathrooms. That's been my life for the last week. I don't know how, but somehow for me, that deep cleaning is, on some level, it's, like, really relaxing, because you just sort of, like, zone out and get really into doing it. But also, on a higher level, it's, like, my fucking nightmare, because I'm terrible at, like, being careful and paying attention when also I'm zoned out doing the same thing over and over and over again, and I'll just, like, not clean a whole. I don't know. Like, I'll be in the bathroom and then not clean the mirror and then come out and be like, bathroom's done, and Mandy looks in, and it's like, fuck, it's not. Try again. For me, it's different. I start off, and I'm really focused, and I'm, like, putting all this effort in, but, like, just, like, with games and other stuff, like, I'll get, like, three-quarters of the way done, and then all of a sudden, my brain's like, all right, we need to be. I'm done with this. I don't want to do this anymore. We're done, and we've got to speed along, and I've, like, forced myself to finish. I don't know. I'm like that with games, too. I'll play a video game, like, nonstop for, like, a week, and then I'll get almost through the game, and I'm like, all right, well, can't launch that game ever again. Time to move on to something else. I don't know what that is, but I have that where it's just, like, all right, I've thoroughly cleaned 90% of this bathroom. There's just a little bit left. Ugh, couldn't possibly. No, please, don't make me finish. I don't know. It's a weird pick of not wanting to finish things, but it's done. I did it. Good job. I have some jokes for that. I'm not going to say them. You hate points, don't you? Yeah, you could get points. No, no, no. It would be crass, and I'm not crass. Oh. I'm not going to do it. I am. I cleaned poop all week, and then I walked across poop on the driveway. I've got poop everywhere. Not my own. Well, unless. And then the cat. Dude, I kicked, so I ran out to grab food before we started recording, as you guys know. Coming back down the stairs, our cat pooped on the stairs again. I almost stepped it on the way to my office, so I had to clean that up. Yeah, but he's old. Yeah, that's understandable. He always does it right in my path. I think it's intentional. I think he hates me. Isn't that just how cats are? Don't they generally kind of hate you, even if they like you? They also hate you? I hear, I think a lot of other cats do this, but he also has a thing where he'll cut you off when you're going up or down stairs, specifically, like he's trying to trip you. Lexi does that, but I think she's just a tiny dog who has no spatial awareness because she's mostly deaf and going blind slowly. I think his is intentional because he was holding a knife while he did it. Interesting. That's a strong sign. Yeah. The hand in the mouth or duct tape to the paws? Nah, the hand. The hand. Sticking straight out of his butthole behind him for safety? Where his hand is, yeah. Interesting. Haven't had a cat in a while. The butthand. His human hand? It's an awful image. All of these have been awful images. Yeah, that crossed the line, though, man. Come on. I sure hope this small talk gets animated. Oh, I'm sure it will. Anyway, good small talk. Mark. Really did share a lot of the points with Wade on that one, but sometimes you're the generous one, you know, so that's okay. That's me. That's what they call me. Anyway, guys, I have a game for you today that I am tentatively calling Easy Jeopardy. Uh-oh. No, wait. I got bad vibes. This is a thing that a person online made on the website JeopardyLabs.com. It's just trivia. It's just Jeopardy. It's a place where you can go and make your own Jeopardy games. This one is called Cincinnati Jeopardy. Oh, come on. It's so unfair. I haven't been there in years. I don't even remember that city. It's okay, Mark. I don't know much about my own town anyway, either, so I'm fucked. It's fine, it's fine. There's only 12 questions. Remember when we were, like, talking about all the incredible things about Cincinnati? Come here, and we didn't even hit, like, half of the things in Cincinnati. We're all from here and didn't remember any of them. Oh, my God. Don't worry. Don't worry. It's easy. Where did my notes go? All right, I guess I don't get to have notes. I'll take other notes. That's fine. It's easy, and there are only three categories. Would you like to hear today's categories? Yes. You don't have a choice. I don't know why I asked you. Okay. The first category is Cincy Slang. Then we have Headquartered Here. And then, finally, we have Things to Do. Can I write those down? Yeah, that's probably not a terrible idea, actually. And you may pick for one, two, three, or four hundred point dollars. Four hundred point dollars. Got it. They're usually dollars on the show, aren't they? Wait, what was the reference? Four, right? Things to Do, Cincinnati Slang? No, there was three. There was three categories. Three categories. Okay, I've got those. I'm going to flip my coin of confusing sides. Today, weighty is the lady. And that is a lion. Hey! I don't know if it's going to focus, but it is a lion, which means Mark gets to pick first. You have control of the board. Easy, Jeopardy. Easy. I looked at the questions. I know you guys got this. Uh-huh. Okay. Uh, can I call you? Can I call you Bob? My name's Bob. Bob. Can I call you Bob? Can I call you Bob? My name is Bob. That still works here. Yes. Ah, thanks, Bob. Can I get headquartered here for two hundred? I don't know what the strategy is for picking, like, numbers that don't begin at the beginning, but I just wanted. I don't have any money! No, it is. No, that was just the regular sound. Sorry, I forgot. Oh, oh, okay. I thought that was the Daily Double. I don't watch Jeopardy enough to know that there's no Daily Double. There's no Daily Double. Oh, okay. Okay, all right. That's what I was about to say. We're just answering the question that we select, right? There's no. We're not beeping in. Do we have to answer in the form of a question? You may steal if the first person gets it wrong. Sure. That's fine. You have to answer in the form of a question unless I don't notice. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Good caveat. Uh, Mark, headquartered here for 200. The answer is, this privately held Cincinnati company makes drinks that boast, quote, a full day's supply of vitamin C. Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho. What is. What is Angry Orchard? Eh. Wade, do you have a guess? Can you repeat the question? This privately held Cincinnati company makes drinks that boast, quote, a full day's supply of vitamin C. What is Sunny Delight? Oh, my God. That is correct. Damn. It's in Cincinnati? The Sunny Delight Beverages Company is a Cincinnati company. I couldn't think of the other orange juice. I could only think of Sunny. I was going to say the other one. I was just banking that Angry Orchard had a non-beer division or something like that. So that was just a guess? Yeah, it was the only orange. I couldn't think of. Is it called Simply Orange? Is that the one I couldn't think of? I mean, Tropicana, Simply Orange. I literally could only think. I was like, I think that's orange juice. The only way I could think of was Sunny Delight because the song came into my head. And also, like, they don't grow oranges in Ohio, so it'd have to be a non-orange. It makes sense. It makes sense. I just didn't know that they were headquartered in Cincinnati. I thought I was a shoo-in for that category. What a lucky guess. That's $200 points for Wade. Wade, do you have control of the board? Damn it. Let's go headquartered here for $300. And the answer is. Manufacturers and markets, umbrellas, gloves, rainwear, rubber rain boots, and other weather-related accessories. Oh, it's not Skyline Chili. As the host, I'm not supposed to give clues, but I will say this is a very big brand. But also, you guys have no fucking chance. I didn't know this was a Cincinnati company. What is Lululemon? Mark to steal. What is Brooks Brothers? The correct answer is Totes Isotoner. Oh, that was my next guess. Oh, my God. Totes Isotoner? Totes as in storage totes and Isotoner as in Isotoner gloves. Which is a big brand. Is it? Is it really? It is. Oh, big brand. It is. Why haven't they advertised on Distractible? Hmm. Well, that's a good question. Oh, I was ready for the answers to be Skyline Chili, Gold Star Chili. Oh, no. I told you guys, this is sissy stuff. This is real easy. I'm a fake fan. But it's fine. And you know what? I'm not going to subtract points from your score like they do on Real Jeopardy. You just lose control of the board for getting a wrong answer. So, Mark, your choice. Your choice. I'll. I think our strategy was wrong. I got to start on the easiest ones. I'll take Headquartered here for 100. Yes. So I can get a single dollar. The United States' largest supermarket by revenue and the second largest general real retailer behind Walmart. What is Kroger? That is correct. All right. I'm on the board. Yes. Good one, Mark. Good one. See, I knew you guys had this. It's still my turn, right? Yes. Yes. All right. Give me Cincinnati. I'm already slaying for 100. Oh, damn it. He is smart. I am smart. Phrase often used when asking someone to repeat themselves. Oh, in Cincinnati. Yeah. It's please, right? What is please? That is correct. All right. Yeah. Because, yeah, I know there's many stories where people from Cincinnati or like, I guess it's probably a nearby region have people misinterpret it because like a job interview or something else, like didn't hear something. They go, please. I still find that confusing. It does not happen a lot at every time because for anyone who can't envision it, it's literally you'll literally be like, hey, I'm looking for the bathroom, like whatever. You're in a store. I mean, like, hey, excuse me. Like, where's the bathroom? And the person just looks at you. It is like, please. Yes, please. Please. I'm looking for the bathroom. I'm sorry. I didn't use the magic word. Help me. Yeah. Yeah. It's just I don't do that. I hear I'm sorry more often than not when someone wants you to repeat something like I'm sorry. It's like, oh, OK, I'll tell you again. No, no way. You're not real. You're not real. You're not real. You're not real Cincinnati. And yeah, Mark's real Cincinnati. That's why he has control of the board. That's why I got control of the board. Oh, damn it. Go headquarter here for 400. You put no balls. No. Yeah. No balls. I got none. Things to do for 100. No. God damn it. I'm never going to get another point. Fresh fruits, vegetables and delicacies of all kinds await you in this historic farmer's market in the heart of the city. Oh, you should definitely know this one. Oh, oh, oh, it's not. It's not called. Oh, I said 100. Right. You heard that right? 100. Please. Please. It's really close to the University of Cincinnati where we all lived close by there and did attend the Dan. What is the Danbury dollar saver farmers market? So close, but that is incorrect. Wait, do you know this one? I've been there. I was there like two years ago. Is okay. I've got a guess. I don't know if this is the one you're referencing. Is it Finley Market? What is Finley Market? That is correct that now that I hear the name. Yeah, that makes more sense. If you don't actually go there, I get why. Like, I don't ever think about it, but it is that is a pretty like big thing. I think Molly's parents wanted to go down. So Molly and her parents and I went down a couple of years ago. All right, wait with a lucky guess. I mean, with an answer, he knew we have control of the board. Let's go. Things to do for 200. I'm gonna use Mark strategy. It's a long one. I mean, you got this with 80 or so galleries, art lovers can stroll through dozens of galleries. Works span 6000 years and feature pieces from renowned artists such as Warhol, Bengal, Picasso, Rembrandt and Gainsborough. Special exhibitions are offered year round. What is Cincinnati Art Museum? I don't know. I don't know. I fucking ate it. That's correct. It's called the Cincinnati Art Museum. Yes, it is called the Cincinnati Art Museum. Damn it. I knew that one. Did I have luck? Did the two of them? Oh, my God. Oh, that's fine. Oh, man. Don't worry. I got 200 bucks. Oh, man. Don't worry. We're going to get any more. Unless it's called Cincinnati. Answer something. It's a very convenient question. I'm going to go with the Cincinnati Art Museum. Like it's, it's the cracking crypto bro. whatever dome now but i actually don't know how long it's gonna be called paycore i know they signed it like what two years ago to get burrow signed but i don't remember how long the thing was yeah well that's what i was thinking is i was kind of thinking it's gonna change at some point here i'm both like come on that's a 300 question and also well i didn't know what that was so yeah that's that's tough luck because wade only knows that because he's a big football fan i buy tickets to go there yeah yeah and only one of you co-hosts a sports podcast and i think we both know who that is me right it's me what is who is me things to do for 400 uh can i call you bob too you can call me mr m mr m things to do for 400 yeah this building once the tallest in cincinnati was erected giggity in 1930 the art deco building houses tower place mall and a hotel spectacular views from the observation deck oh i've been here too what is big big building man i hate that that's right obviously that is incorrect mark do you know this one it would be really bad if i didn't given that my wedding you didn't happen to host anything in this building in the last year did you i i i know we were just there man mark's in more trouble than just what cincinnati is hold on hold on hold on he's just walking through his mind palace trying to locate the correct information what is the netherland plaza ooh sorry that is incorrect not me oh god that may be what that area is called but the building itself is called the karoo tower i hadn't heard of that i don't know what that is yeah i don't know that i don't know that i knew that name i feel i feel a bit better i don't know what that is i don't know what that is all about all right all right all right all right i don't know what's the netherland plaza then is that just the netherlands it's a country mark it's a country right right okay you're right i got them confused when you first get to the country you go to the plaza then they let you uh it's part of the karoo tower complex it's the hilton cincinnati netherlands plaza is the historic art deco hotel located inside the tower okay all right makes sense so i feel like people can give me a pass on this one and i can lose you totally remembered it that just wasn't helpful to you in the game itself yeah yeah yeah yeah exactly yeah what was it called it's karoo like you know whenever you're on a plane you have the netherlands plaza and you're like oh my god the flight crew funny joke wade that's funny yeah there you go mark and i were just syncing it up all right okay balls headquartered here for 400 in 2007 this fortune 100 company changed its name from federated department stores to this iconic name int they announced in february they will be closing their downtown cincinnati headquarters say i don't know how up to date this is so it might not be this february that that was announced what was the old name of it again federated department stores okay so it's gonna be a department store of some type what is kohl's i'm sorry that's incorrect wait do you know this one i know this one oh wait what is pop pop pop what is oh what is what is sears i'm sorry that's incorrect the correct answer is macy's macy's was headquartered in cincinnati i thought macy's was older than that i did not know that either i it's always a new york thing to me because macy's thanksgiving day parade yeah that's what i was thinking i thought of macy's like no macy's is much older and not cincinnati oh whoa wait macy's was only called macy's starting in 07 i think the stores were called that the the parent company oh that's what threw me off i was like no there's been like a macy's day parade i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know for like 100 years or something weird so like no it can't be that that was the first department store i thought it was like no it can't be that 100 years or something weird i was like that'd be so stupid if i said macy's oh i think i broke this rule in the last time but since everyone got that wrong way do you get to pick now because i was doing that before oh i was going with yeah we've been doing it i think we've been doing it that way okay good oh cincinnati slang for 300 right in the middle oh my god nicknamed the big mac bridge for its resemblance to a mcdonald's golden arches oh there's only so many bridges down there so you know i'm sure you know all their names yeah it's like you just told me the name of it i should just repeat what you said but that can't be it was the actual name of the bridge that is nicknamed the big mac bridge yeah yeah well when you're walking around down there people people are always like you know going down what is old yeller you have to have a gun on the bridge you go to the middle of the gun look at the water we're gonna go by the shed seems like a bridge nobody would would want to walk on mark do you know i only know one name and i'm like i don't even know if this is a bridge but what is the brent spence that's the big highway one oh shit oh shit what is the purple people mover bridge that is a different one and i don't think that's this one the big mac bridge is officially known as the daniel beard bridge never heard that in my life i would have never guessed that well no famous cincinnatian he's the reason we have beards all right here here we go mark's choice also how's that slang i don't know i don't get these oh god well you had to know the slang to then get because the answer was so easy everyone wouldn't just know the answer obviously going i'm balls i'm balls cincinnati slang for 400 the shortcut for ordering cincinnati style chili with spaghetti raw onions kidney beans and cheddar cheese is there another name for this i say it again this is the shortcut for ordering cincinnati style chili with spaghetti raw onions kidney beans and cheddar cheese i'm like the way that i would order it is pretty short as is why would i need a shortcut this is is this a trick are you tricking me what the is that your answer do you see it doesn't it seem like the kind of guy who would trick you i honestly have what the i don't know what is a five-way that's correct it's a five-way oh okay i was i was about to say it like what the that was for 400 daniel beard was three i was like that's the only way i know it and it's like i was like this really short so it's probably that but well but right it that's the shortcut because if you sit down and go i want a way with onions and and beans and cheese like if you say all the things that you want you'll still get it but it's called a five-way that's the short hand for it yeah yeah it's a five-way yeah i just can't believe that's a 400 question that's why it felt like a trick to me too i was like well no it's a 400 question there's i think that was honestly i think that was the idea because if anyone from cincinnati was answering it it would seem like a trick because you're like oh that's only called one thing there's no other thing i was trying to think of gold star like called it something else i'm like well i don't know how else i would order that like give me skinny with the fixings like because with the four-way you have to pick onions or beans and you have to tell them okay all right so still mine right yeah but there's only one left on the board choose carefully all right last one daily double come on 200 cincinnati slang for 200 pepsi and coke are known as soda to most of the world but in cincinnati this slang term reigns supreme what is pop that is correct which is funny because i don't call it that i think i call it soda mostly but i i guess that's wrong soda pop i say both i usually just say which one i want but i like never say pop saying pop sounds weird to me i feel like i said pop when i was younger i think i say soda more now i can't believe daniel beard was sandwiched between those two that is all of the questions off the board let me just double check here mark we won i feel good we are cincinnati still yeah right we definitely didn't miss a lot of those you missed four of them which is one third and i did say this was easy jeopardy so of course we have to keep going until you're able to answer all of them correctly oh oh what did you think i meant when i said easy jeopardy oh no what's the bridge name oh no i thought you're being nice you only missed four you only have to remember a couple things really oh no what do you gets two the other one gets two you're all done how hard can it be and i told you the answers i told you it was easy oh god damn it when will we learn when will we learn when will we learn i don't know man mark got the last one's correct so i guess mark has control of the board unfortunately in my final jeopardy you don't get to pick you have to answer the question that i give you okay mark uh headquartered here for 300 this company manufacturers and markets umbrellas gloves brain wear rubber rain boots and other weather related accessories i forgot about this question oh Uh, uh, what, oh, I, oh, what is totes and insects, interlopers, totes and impressionables, totes and in, out, not out, ah, fuck, totes and in and out, ah, so close, so close, but that's not it, wait, do you know this one? You can just say no if you're, if you're sure that you don't know. What is tote meal? That's incorrect. Oh, of course, the answer is totes isotoner. Everybody remembers that. Of course, isotoner was on the tip of my tongue. All right, Wade, you get to answer things to do for 400. Oh, no. This building, once the tallest in Cincinnati, was erected in 1931. The Art Deco building houses Tower Place Mall and a hotel. Well, spectacular views from the observation deck. We were just talking about that. We talked about it a lot, because Mark was surprised he didn't hear that name, because he knew the other stuff about the place. I made my Netherlands joke. What is Karoo Tower? That is correct. I, I would have gotten that. I would have got, I want to point out, I would have gotten that. I would have gotten it. Yeah, Mark looked like he knew that one, too. I only got there because you two spent like a few seconds like trying to pronounce it. I was like, what was that thing? They were Karoo, Karoo, Karoo. We were pronouncing it fine. You were the one pronouncing it weird. Karoo. All right. Mark. Hmm. You get to answer. Headquartered here for 400. In 2007, this Fortune 100 company changed its name from Federated Department Stores to this iconic name. And they announced in February of some year that they will be closing their downtown Cincinnati headquarters. What is Macy's? That's correct. Bizarre. Bizarre. Bizarre. I was surprised at the ones that you guys got right. Because I was thinking some of these would be really funny. The Macy's one. I was like, they're going to remember that. That's super weird. That's an interesting fact about Cincinnati. Uh, Wade, you get to answer. Cincy Slang for 300. Nicknamed the Big Mac Bridge for its resemblance to McDonald's Golden Arches. What is Daniel Beard? That's right. You can tell my confidence level with how quiet I spoke. I knew Daniel, but I did not. Remember Beard. I remembered my beard joke. I couldn't remember Daniel for sure. Well, man, between you two, you guys had that one completely locked down. Oh, it's Mark's board again. What board? Oh, actually, we should we should swap because you got. No, no, no. We should stick with Mark's board. Don't ask me that question. You're right. It's it's Wade's board again, because there's one question we still haven't gotten right. Wade headquartered here for 300. No, I've already forgotten. This company manufactures and markets umbrellas, gloves, brainwear, rubber rain boots and other weather related accessories. I told this answer to you two minutes ago. What is toad underboob? Oh, man. So close. So close. I'm sorry. That's not correct. Now's the time to do it for a limited time at the Home Depot. Get 10 percent off installed carpet projects on trusted brands like Life Proof, Life Proof with Pet Proof Technology, Home Decorators Collection and Traffic Master. Plus, with installation starting at just forty nine cents per square foot, upgrading your space is more affordable than ever at the Home Depot. Exclusions apply for licenses. See Home Depot dot com slash license numbers. Okay. Got one idiot, right? What a dumbass. Mark, I told this to you two minutes and 30 seconds ago. So really, you get a little bit more of a break than Wade did. Yep. Totes. Oh. And interstellar. I'm sorry. That's incorrect. Don't tell us the answer. Bob, I think I got it. Oh, my God. This is the final question. So I'm just going to let you go back and forth. I'm sure that Wade has this. Wade, do you want me to read the clue again or do you have it in your head? No, no, no. I got it. They have umbrellas and boots and they are. Yes, yes. Totes, isotopes. I'm sorry. That's incorrect. Oh, God damn it. My turn. Are you sure? Yeah, Mark, Mark, do you have another guess? You're allowed to listen to each other's guesses and see if that helps. What the fuck? In. It's in something, right? Oh, man. Yeah, they're in Cincinnati. Oh, that's funny. Totes and isotoner. Totes and isotoner. What is totes and isotoner? That is correct. I'm going to just pretend that you had a hiccup in the middle there because the answer is totes, isotoner. Oh. Oh. What is totes, isotoner? Nah, nah. I already justified giving it to Mark. Oh, they'd get so much more business if they were totes, isoboob. Can I look up totes, isotoner? Or do you have any other questions about it? No, you can look up whatever that is. That is the end of the Jeopardy. We have successfully answered all of the questions. Easy. Like I said, it would be great if you could answer any of the questions. It would be great. It would be great if you could answer any of the questions. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That would be great if you could answer any of the questions. Yeah. No, you can look up whatever. Easy. Like I said, it would be from the very beginning. Weird. Weird. So there's an Isotoner.com and then there's a Totes.com, but they're a company, Totes Isotoner. Yeah, they're sort of branded as two companies. But Isotoner, like gloves and outerwear stuff, is like a pretty big, like it's in Kohl's and Macy's. Like it's in all the like department stores and stuff. I have heard of Isotoners as like a nationwide brand previously. I don't know what Totes, is Totes literally like storage totes or is it like gloves and shit? I don't know anything about that. It's just a name for the boots and stuff. Totes brands includes Umbrella, Rubber Footwear, Ponchos. I don't know if Isotoner has a different one. Oh. You put easy in the name. I should have known. Easy, 20 easy questions. I knew it and I still didn't. I still didn't get it. It was right there. They have nice looking flip flops on the Totes website. See? Oh, and they have hats. Look at that. Sunny D in Rome. Yum, yum. Yeah, I was a little surprised you got Sunny D right off the rip. I was hoping that one would go to the. It was the only vitamin C product I could think of the name of. And it was only because the song came in my head. I mean, honestly, you guys did really good. I was hoping that like we'd end up with like six-ish lists. And you did better than I expect. You only missed four of them. I guess I should have had more questions. I was afraid that was going to go. But it's going to have to be 50 easy questions next time. 12 to 50. Look, but if I do it, I'll tell you at the beginning. This is 50 easy questions. You can take notes. You can write stuff down. It's totally fine. I'm sure you won't get bored halfway through and stop remembering to write stuff down and still have questions you'll never remember the answer to. I'm sure that won't happen. I'm sure. I'm sure. I guess the game is what the game is. I was thinking that'd go a little longer. This might end up being a little bit of a. A short episode, but that's fine. Sometimes you got. You got smart contestants. That's fine. Dense. Dense of funny. Really, really funny. The funny per minute is huge. So you got to end it quick. Our ratio is going down. There's no funny from here on out. You guys earned points for. Oh, Mark. Mark earned points for. Slap Yourself. Can I Call You Bob? You got Kroger, Please, Five Way, Pop, Macy's, and Tote's Isotoner correct. Wade, you earned points for. You would hate that about the whole thing. Holes. You burned Bucky's, because take that. Was that the shocking part? And also your shocked escalations of your reactions. Then you got Sunny Delight, Finley Market, Cincy Art Museum, Paycore Stadium, Karoo Tower, and the Daniel Beard Bridge correct. Making the final score, 10 for Wade, and one, two, three. Oh, nine for Mark. It was closer than I thought it would be. Hey, I still got a chance. Wade did really good in the small talk, but you guys were very competitive with the trivia stuff. Just a little unfair that he got the slap. Oh! Oh! Oh! No! Oh, God damn it! I didn't mean to do that! You slapped. Well, I was just thinking, like, I slapped myself, and he got the point. That hurt. Yeah, but I, I, you know. Okay, so. It was a delivery, though, 'cause you were just sitting there, and Mark just went, "Slap Yourself." And you did! Let's see if it is. Okay, so either I get a point for slapping myself, or he gets two, he gets an extra point for me slapping me? We'll decide exactly what happens if we have to. Right now, the flip is about the slapping yourself point situation. I want heads. I got the lady! That's heads. Oh, I got tails. Oh, I got tails. Okay. Yeah. Oh, thank God. Nothing happens. We almost had to give Mark extra points. Alright, fair enough, fair enough. Well, score is ten to nine, and it's time for the wheel. Wheelie wheel gets the grease, that's what I always say. Yep. And, of course, we're going to have three bonus spins, because. Why wouldn't we? That's what I'm talking about. How could we possibly not have three bonus spins? That's what I always say. How about, uh, do the most trivia? That'll come up a lot. Yeah, that's pretty obscure. Oh, I got one. Said my name in the episode. That does not always happen, but today, Mark did ask, what he should call me and decided to call me Bob which I do appreciate all right I said it again later but it was his joke said Bob first in this episode okay so every episode we got to be eating drinking making callbacks say Bob I got it the host has a real advantage here why would I say my own name I'm Bob joining as always my co-host Mark and Wade oh that's true I do that every time unless I don't we got 122 options here I'm sure nothing bad will happen especially not to me actually Baltimore gets it first that's true oh that is true spin number one is sudden death it's a tie ha ha ha I guess that's it for the spins it was easy okay no more spins need to happen now we need to go to the winner's wheel which is currently at 10 10 of 360 wait I could do this does it increase in the beginning or the end I can't remember I think afterward right we add two percent after the spin it's what we've been doing right oh I can't remember because we spun it not we spun it not too long ago and it was eight percent you spin then you add so it's more for the next person because we added after the spin I did so yeah it's after yeah it was eight percent eight percent for you and now it's ten percent that wouldn't happen he said no no no okay that's what I'm talking about mark mark wins oh feels good feels good feels good feels very good well it feels terrible mark wins and everything is fine because it's not a one-man show holy all right that means I had to note this down it is now 12 percent noted noted noted mark wins it's written in the book all right uh wade loser speech I had this in the bag I went through all different phases of being shocked slapped myself I knew some good trivia but fate hath decided that today would be unfair and I can say that word safely now because I accidentally already used it so unfair unfair unfair unfair unfair that's it that's it for me yeah it only happens once you're good it's it's in the constitution so it's basically god's rules at this point one easy win my episode thanks loser mark winner speech wow fate really loves me and me alone the world conspired to allow me to win and I take that I will humbly take that and unhumbly take this win both is how I feel right now I deserve it and I don't and I'm okay with that thank you universe for smiling upon me like you have every day of my life for listeners I'm thumbing up oh yeah oh yeah he's thumbs up he's thumbs upping real big and big smile for viewers I'm thumbing down he's double thumbing down thumbsing thumbsing down thumb downsing thumb down thumbs downsing I think it's thumb up high um thank you for listening or watching you know listening to or watching this episode I'm just shocked I was sure it was going to be a one-man show I could feel it but then the universe was like no no we like mark and they it did they did what was right so congratulations to mark that means he's going to host the next one make sure you follow uh myself mark and wade I am my skirm he is mark flyer and wade is lord minion777 or minion777 we have merch distractible.shop check it out it comes and goes there is currently some stuff on there and there will soon be more stuff on there you gotta watch because these this app these shows only come out like once a week and it doesn't always line like you just check if you really want you just gotta check that's gonna be it thank you so much make sure you follow the podcast so you know when episodes come out that's the end of this one we'll see you next time when mark hosts podcast out now at kroger your points add up to more ways to save every trip use them your way to take dollars off groceries at checkout or save at the pump you can even save up to 35 dollars on your next fill up same points more choices and with low prices on fresh quality food plus digital and personalized offers tailored to how you shop your dollar goes further redeem your points online or in the app kroger fresh for everyone restrictions apply see cider store for details we just moved into our new house and i didn't realize just how close we were to the neighbors that's when my friend told me about blinds.com blinds.com isn't a medication but it can improve how you feel about your home customers who shop at blinds.com experience excellent customer service from consultation to installation side effects include increased privacy and better sleep talk to your partner today and see if blinds.com is right for you visit blinds.com to order your free samples
