The podcast delves into a series of interconnected controversies involving powerful institutions and elite figures, centering on Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged connections to high-level individuals, including Hugh Hefner, Sarah Ferguson, and Prince Andrew. It reveals that the FBI received multiple reports of Epstein’s abuse as early as 1996 but failed to act, with victims alleging systemic inaction and cover-ups. Emails from the Epstein files show Ferguson receiving financial help from Epstein after her 2008 conviction and attempting to share contact details for Victoria Harvey with FBI officials in 2025—an act seen as deeply inappropriate and politically charged. The discussion expands to include a covert CIA drone campaign targeting fishing boats near the Galapagos, resulting in the disappearance of eight Ecuadorian crew members and allegations of unlawful capture and transport. The episode also highlights the suspicious visit of CIA Director John Ratcliffe to Russia, where he met with Russian intelligence officials without meeting President Putin, raising concerns about de-escalation efforts and the normalization of intelligence diplomacy during a war. These actions are contrasted against broader patterns of institutional silence, including CBS’s suppression of Epstein-related reporting under new leadership. The narrative underscores a recurring theme: powerful networks suppress information to protect their own interests, often at the expense of justice and transparency. The podcast calls for greater accountability, emphasizing that systemic failures in law enforcement, intelligence, and elite circles must be exposed to prevent further harm and ensure truth prevails.
What's up everybody, and welcome back to another episode of the Julien Dory podcast. I am Julien Dory. How are you doing, Dave? How are you doing? Joey Dief. What's the story here, bro? What's up? I mean, you're one of the most famous Chinese guys on the internet, and China just hacked the DOJ in a lot of other places, so I feel like you'd be plugged in to know who did it. This is where I pull the Fauci on this one. Oh, you're pulling the Fauci. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. Yeah, pre-defeated. They don't have. Oh, that's like the first 40 seconds on YouTube, huh? That's gonna be. I don't know. I think we're gonna leave it. I think we'll be okay. I think we're gonna roll with it. That was pretty good. Yeah. I don't think they have a fifth over in China though, Chinese. No, no, they don't have a fifth. They don't have a first. Yeah. There's no first. No. Yeah. No, but I think you're pretty much fucked. Yeah. They have the Guy Zhong Dynasty of sorts, or, you know, I made that up. That's not what I was gonna say. That's not a real thing. It sounds real though. It does sound real. All right. Well, you got an intro to do, right? I don't think I should keep going on it in the Chinese stuff. I should get myself into hot water here. You've been taking over all the intro's joy, deep. That's what it is. You know, we gotta. We gotta see what the latest and greatest is with the kid over here. But I'm sure we'll be able to get Professor Zhang's take on it and he'll, you know. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Yeah. Welcome to the end of the world. That's right. That's one of the best memes ever. Anyway. All right. So we did have Danny Jones in town this week. Yeah. So we'll be coming out next week. Always great to have Danny rolling through a lot of good action in that conversation. But a lot to get through today, Joey, deep. Yeah. More Epstein cover-ups. You know, one after the other. So of course, we'll hit that as we always do. We are one of the few channels out here keeping that story alive. Yeah. I feel like. This is some pure spec here. Yeah. But I do feel like maybe I'm just being a little optimistic here. That something will break here. Something that we don't see right now that's not necessarily in the files themselves that will force a lot of the people to bring it back into the lexicon. Because again, we're still waiting on three million more that they illegally are holding back. It's just one of the wildest ignored stories I've ever seen. They have been legally told. They have to release it and they just said, "Yeah, fuck you." Yeah. I mean, that's Taylor's oldest. That's crazy. Taylor's oldest. We'll talk about that. The CIA director went to Russia with love for hate. I don't know. We'll find out. See what happened there. Joey Diff has also been drone attacking some fishing boats off the Galapagos Island on behalf of the United States government. Yeah. Well. Money talks. Money does talk. I'm not paying enough. I played a lot of call of duty growing up and I learned that all this warfare stuff, it's all going to parallel with one another. That's right. Just gaming. Hey guys, if you're not following me on Spotify, please hit that follow button and leave a five-star review. They're both a huge, huge help. Thank you. So we'll talk about that. Metta is also now going to start limiting. What kids can do on social media, which is a very interesting compromise there. They're getting Chinese with it. Like, and that's not even a joke. It's not a joke. It's literal. Yeah. I'm still formulating some thoughts on that. I have always played with the idea that, like, in this country, so you can vote at 18, obviously, at that point, you're someone who has a part of the process and part of the system. So therefore, all constitutional rights apply to you. And my thought has always been they apply to kids as well. But when it comes to things when you're in developmental stages and still under the guardianship of your parents, and then maybe with the internet now, there's things that the parents can't fully control because it's not possible. Maybe that's not the worst thing. Obviously, you guys know very well. I always look at slippery slopes, even when it's a tough conversation. But we'll talk about that, because it's an interesting development that's happened there. And certainly as a precedent, et cetera. That's the big thing. Yeah. I want to see draft kings do it next. Now that should be that should be low hanging fruit. That should be the lesson. I'm not going to keep diving into it, but that's stint in event photography. I was at a lot of weddings and bar mitzvahs and stuff like that where there were just kids gambling on draft, which just doesn't make sense. Anyway, neither here. No, no, that's a good point. It's a really good point. Obviously, Flock CEO continues to be down bad. You know, I can't have an episode without talking about our good friend, Garrett Langley. He'll be hidden that, but I call him Clarence Langley. Clarence Langley. I was calling him Craig or Greg at the beginning. We've come a long way. It says a lot. They say a lot. Yeah. And also Joey Deef was doing some digging, some deep dives, if you will, and Peter Teel's a little more connected to Flock than we even originally thought possibly. Peer spec. Peer spec, but it's got some evidence. So do it that way you will. So we'll be talking about that. But starting off with some of this Epstein stuff, you know, I got to hit our other friend Barry Weiss. Once again, not literally, obviously, that's a crime, but figuratively right here. Saga put out a little tidbit a few weeks ago on Twitter. Shout out to Saga and Gentie. Great. Follow on Twitter. But CBS and reading straight from Saga right here, CBS apparently had a major Epstein story in the works detailing major corruption at the top of Wall Street banks and involving the Virgin Islands government never made it to air under the new Barry Weiss Ellison leadership. I wonder why. So can we click the Jason Leopold thing before I get to Saga's response right there? All right. So the reports also said that Wyden was interviewed about his investigation in March by then 60 minutes correspondent Sharon Alfonzi for a segment. The news program was reporting about Wall Street banks and the US Virgin Island government's relationship with Epstein. Now, if you remember, Jeffrey Epstein was in there at the Washington Post actually did some great work on this. Yeah. So I'm back in reviewing the tape he was in there literally fucking live texting Stacy Plaskett who I believe represents the US Virgin Islands. Yeah. As a representative. While she was in a hearing. Yeah. That's a closing idea. I think Michael Cohen at the time back in like 2019 is before he was arrested and they have her live reacting to the text he was sending in real time that we got access to later and we're able to line it up that he was like feeding her questions as to what to ask, which is fucking crazy. Anyway, back to this tweet. The Virgin Island government's relationship with Epstein two months later CBS fired Alfonzi, the reporter who was working on this after she publicly criticized CBS news leadership and editor-in-chief Barry Weiss's editorial decisions involving a different segment she reported. Neither the Wyden interview referring to Senator Ron Wyden nor the broader Epstein story has aired. Now we can go back to what Saugher said about this right here but he said this was an updated statement from a CBS spokesman in response to this coming out where they said, "We are proud of our aggressive and extensive reporting." They've been aggressive. They're crushing it. Right. They've been crushing it. "Our aggressive and extensive reporting on the Epstein scandal, that reporting continues. We air pieces when they are ready and suggesting that an interview is being suppressed for any reason is categorically false." So an interview you did back in March, that's now fucking stale is very old soon now in August. It's not being suppressed. They'll put it out over Labor Day. Yeah, they'll put it out in a bit. That's what they do. We'll fry a Labor Day news dump with, by the way, Joey Dief. Leon Black's going to be testifying allegedly on Thursday. That's good. Right? Yeah. I'm sure everyone will be tuned into that as they head down to the shore and to wherever vacation destinations they go. That's right. I'm sure we're going to get to the bottom of it. Yeah, definitely. They're going to get the real truth. We're going to get the black and white truth of it. Yes. But this one apparently is going to be on video where Leon Black will, you'll be able to see him answer some of these questions and squirm like a little fish, I'm sure. But yeah, we will definitely react to that when it happens, but it's just, it feels like Barry Weiss, if I set up the perfect, you know, what's the term for it, doesn't there like official? Oh, it's not what I was getting at. Oh, you said Barry Weiss. Right. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. But if I were setting up the perfect, like, little stick of dynamite to roll into CBS, just to get rid of it forever, I would hire Barry Weiss to be the editorial person in charge of the whole place. Well, in that case, you'd be rolling in a bowling ball. Yeah. You could cut this out if we, yeah, that's okay. Barry. God damn it. Barry Barry. We don't usually record in the mornings, but these, I love the mornings. I do really on one today. You don't like morning episodes on the opposite. If you told me we did 6am recordings, I'd be like, fuck, yes, god, no, no, no, no, I got to get in the gym before it by 1 p.m. I'm done. But, you know, you know, who actually did some more work trying to expose Jeffrey Epstein, the Barry Weiss? So this is our load of ours, the half, the original half for you, yes. So let's pull this up. There's a full story. You want the post article? Yeah. See, in the New York post, which is very administratively friendly, in the New York post, they published this. Oh, yeah. This is crazy. You know, we're repeatedly, not once, but repeatedly called the FBI on Jeff.
free Epstein after a Playboy playmate was our worded lawsuit details reveal. So Playboy founder Hugh Hefner repeatedly called the FBI to report Jeff free Epstein for sexual abuse in 2005. Wow. This is before that this is right when that initial investigation was allegedly beginning. That's behind the scenes in West Palm Beach with with the local sheriff's department there. After a play, so this was after a Playboy playmate told him that she was our worded and traffic by a disgrace financier according to new details in a lawsuit. Audra Lynn Christensen, Miss October 2003, turned to heft for help when she was 23 and living in his Beverly Hills mansion, prompting the late magazine publisher to call the agency referring to the FBI multiple times for assistance according to the suit filed by 32 Epstein victims against the United States. In addition to the rape allegations, Christensen said she confided in Hefner that she also was trafficked to one of his rich friends, Macau Casino billionaire Stanley Ho, China's godfather of gambling. Do you know him, Trady? I do. Yeah. Yeah. Good guy. Good guy. Oh, not apparently not. I can't. I can't. But in your experience, he's been a good guy. Yeah. Isn't it funny, disgraced financier magazine publisher? It's so funny the way we label things, you know, well, we just caught you in a library because Stanley Ho died in 2020, according to the filing. Well, COVID, he did is he did his last big, his last big project was to get COVID out to the world. And he was in Wuhan. They did it and he's like, I can go peacefully. No, peacefully. No, that's what he told you. This is the last little master plan. Yeah, but it's a lot more syllables than that. All right. Sorry. Just go. She asked Heffner to call on her behalf in 2005 because she felt he had law enforcement connections and the clout to her allegations were taken seriously. Mr. Heffner called the FBI multiple times on behalf of Mrs. Christensen to report to every Epstein, the complaint states, the revelations are part of an amended complaint in May and the US district court of Southern District of Florida by Epstein victims who charged the FBI failed to act on the multiple reports about his sexual abuse as early as 1996. As early as 1996, the fact that the FBI is trying to utilize procedural technicalities to try to avert accountability and responsibility for its failures to properly investigate Jeffrey Epstein for over 20 years should be deeply concerning to all Jordan Merson, lawyer for the victims told the post, how can you learn from errors if you do not acknowledge them? Christian Sin, now 46, who was part of the reality TV series, the girl's next story was only contacted by the FBI in October 2020, 15 years after Heffner made the calls. After Epstein's death, to follow up on the information provided 15 years earlier according to the lawsuit, we all know the stories about, for example, Alex, a cost to the US attorney working on the initial case saying someone came to him and said Epstein's intelligence is above your pay grade. We all know that a lot of this was shoved under the rug. We all know that they gave him the deal of the lifetime in that initial fucking case. But the fact that the FBI had all this information from people like you fucking Heffner all these years ago and didn't think about the irony of them only acting on it after this guy allegedly unalived himself, which we all know he definitely didn't do. And who knows, he might even still be alive. Like it's absolutely absurd to me that this can just be reported. What are you going to do? That's where we're at. It's full blown. What are you going to do when some lose some because he didn't, because didn't he, I don't know the specifics, but he got like canceled after he died too, right? Didn't like a bunch of people come out and say he was like drugging and abusing playmates and stuff so that's even more. Oh, Heffner. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah. It was like 2021 or 2022. Yeah. But it's, that's crazy. But that, yeah, it's also like this hell low the bar was. Yeah. It was like, yeah, this guy's a problem. Yeah. 2022. That's when you got canceled. Yeah. There was allegations of coercion, manipulation, sexual misconduct drugging. It's like, well, there it is. There it is. There it is. And now our current head of the FBI. And you know, I don't even, I don't know the extent of this or how serious it was. But again, how many times we're going to say this to you, we're going to keep saying it forever, the optics. Yeah. So I have the archive that I asked right there, Sarah Ferguson and Cash Patel. So Lady Fergie, who is the former Prince Andrews ex-wife, who's a real gem, if you ever looked at her life, she was getting in touch with Cash Patel in 2025 after he becomes the head of the FBI, trying to put him in touch with Lady Victoria Harvey, who I believe dated Prince Andrew at one point as well. And if you don't remember this lady, she was the one who went on Pierce Morgan last year and said that it was actually embarrassing if you didn't make it into the Epstein files. And her logic was because if you didn't make it into the Epstein files, that means you weren't a real person and weren't important and weren't running in the right circles and you weren't a part of the club. And you need to be in the club because clout is what matters. And Jeffrey Epstein had clout. Her words not mine. He did. He unfortunately did have clout though, like she's right about that part. But the fact that you'd be like, yeah, no, it's kind of pathetic if you're not in the files, like who even are you? Again, read the room lady. So that's the woman in the middle of this. But this article, where did I get this on the archive that I asked from this is from Bloomberg. That's right. So I just want to read the title up there. Jody for a quick so this is new FBI Epstein email shows Sarah Ferguson contacted Cash Patel. Now we can go down. And she did date Prince Andrew. She did. I'm the lady Victoria. That's right. So by now the relationship between Epstein and former Royals Prince Andrew and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, otherwise known as Fergie is well documented emails from the Epstein files released by the Department of Justice in January show the Andrew Mountbatten Whizner Windsor as he is now known maintain a close friendship with Epstein well after Andrew publicly disliked himself in the disgrace financier, the email disgraced financier is killing me. Yeah, that's where we're at disgrace finance here. There's a lot of things you could put in that finance dude. You know, world renowned pedophile. You know, intelligence asset. I don't know. You know, disgraced Rothschild's agent. I don't know something. The emails also show that Ferguson remained in contact with Epstein after his 2008 guilty plea for soliciting prostitution from a minor asking him for financial advice and helping and asking for help to pay off her debts. So she and Andrew were constantly running up debts. This has been well documented. There's also reports that Jeffrey Epstein I'm trying to remember because I haven't looked at this in a while, but he actually paid some of them and was financially assisting her for a long time, which like just think about that at the time a convicted sex offender who is a private citizen of the United States was paying for the lifestyle of someone even though she was divorced from Andrew, she lived in the same house with him and was an active member in say the royal community. I'll put that in air quotes right there, whose ex is a literal royal. Yeah. Like this is just we're just going to be like, yeah, nothing to see here. There wasn't someone in the royal's office who sits there all day with nothing else to do except manage the literal royals right there not looking at this going, wait a minute. Why is this guy in New York, fucking? Why is Sarah getting paid by this dude Epstein? Like there wasn't one guy in the office who could ask that question. There was and then they send in the little there's always like a five foot tall guy who really has the power and he comes in and he's like, well, fucking guilty. Yeah. Okay. Okay. And he fixes the bus. Right. They're never seen. Yeah. Never seen. Yeah. Never seen. And you were right. Epstein did help fund her in 2011. I was right. Okay. Wow. Assistance from Epstein in 2011. Sarah Ferguson admitted that Jeffrey Epstein helped arrange or fund the payments of a debt owed to her former personal assistant newly unced emails, unsealed emails and documents from the U.S. Department of Justice indicate Epstein and associates advise Ferguson on avoiding bankruptcy and help negotiate down what she owed to creditors. Ferguson previously acknowledged her quote gigantic error of judgment. Yeah, I'd say so Sarah. I'd say so. Yeah. And accepting financial help from Epstein after his initial convictions stated she intended to repay the funds. So she admitted it all the way back then. And then they stayed in contact after that. Yeah. The audacity. Yeah. That's what's crazy. Joey Dief. All right. Let's go back to the cash betel one. The one you got behind. He helps negotiate down with the creditors and he's like, well, I own the credit unit. Yeah. It's like listen, listen. I'm just gonna make a call. You know, she's a royal. Okay. I'll get you in the party. Yeah. Yeah. I'll be fine. Forget you're good. Just give me $25. Thank you. That's what you did. Poor judgment. Poor judgment. We'll talk it up to poor judgment. Whenever you hear words like poor judgment, lawyer or disgraced finance here, lawyer. That's that is a lawyer somewhere going. Yeah. Let's Just clean this up right here.
Yeah, I know you were saying like I fucked up. No, no, you're going to say you you use poor judgment. Mm-hmm. It sounds cleaner, right? It's about telling stories. Yes. It's not the Facebook. It's Facebook. Exactly. Cleaner, shorter. Anyway, so the new emails released by the FBI's FOIA page present a little intrigue and March 2025 a year before the details of her communications with Epstein became public Ferguson contacted a senior diplomat at the United States Embassy in London the email show She was reaching out to share the contact information of a British socialite with with incoming FBI director Cash Patel The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson reached out and wanted to provide contact information for Victoria Harvey The Duchess was under the impression you requested the contact information wrote David Walker the FBI's legal attaché in March 2025 email to Patel Victoria Harvey can be reached at blank in the event None of this makes sense. This was not a contact you were looking to obtain. Please feel free to ignore this email That's a bizarre That's a bizarre email for a lot of reasons. The first reason is that the idea that the FBI couldn't get the contact Information for a high-level British socialite who's a well-known public figure like Lady of Victoria Harvey is laughable The idea that a Member or a past member who's still actively around and the mother of children of people in the royal family would be reaching out to an Emissary of this guy seemingly Voluntarily to try to provide this information when they're in the middle of a Very bad optic scandal at the time in OS if you will OS an optic scandal an optic scandal. Yeah, sorry. I didn't put to it. Like I said it's a morning shoot didn't put two and two together there I'm a little slower, but like That's a big You know wait, let's play a saturated. What time was that email written? Do we have that? 319 PM 316. Yeah, and then the FBI guy replied at 918 a.m Okay, so 316 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025. I wonder if that's local time or London time Because if it's London time There I believe five hours ahead at that point, right? So be 816 p.m. Yeah, so let's just play as I'll show you deep maybe I don't know pure spec here Sarah's sitting there Five o'clock comes around Happy hour starts down a little white wine. Yeah, you know, maybe gets a little what what what a rich people eat. She gets Chews Jay in it. We go down to the pool with me mate. No, no, I don't think she's going to pub Joy-D if I think she's sitting alone in her house at this point Yeah, but you know, maybe she's got like like a male escort there or something yeah, Tidal eyes are tied up Whatever they say about male escort is doing it to women and then you know six o'clock comes around Start to get six sheets to the wind. Mm-hmm. That bottle's looking a little empty. She's feeling like cash Well, even before that, you know, she she's in bankruptcy or close to it Yeah, but she's still living in opulence because somehow that still works that way You know, maybe Andrews in the other side of the house. She don't want to talk to him So now she's like to bring me some escargo or like what else the rich people eat oysters? Tartar tartar confi. What some duck confi? The fuck is that? Yeah, you know, I don't have it's right It's like it's like it's kind of like a tartar. All right. Well whatever. So she gets the private chef in there He cooks her out what she needs. Mm-hmm. Now it's like seven o'clock. Mm-hmm. At this point You got to go from wine to a little brown liquor. Yeah, so there's some sort of like rich people mixed drink made there I don't know. It takes a benzo It takes a benzo. Why not and then an hour later She is slurring words. Uh-huh. Doesn't know where she is. Uh-huh And now that late night booty call Turns into late night cash betel email and she's like I need that motherfucker who's running the FBI on the horn stat and he's like girl You're looking like me after that NHL final right now. I like your style and he's like I got you what you need I mean imagine him after the NHL final final or not the NHL the Olympics fun. Yeah, whatever I was chugging him and everything. Yeah, that's what I mean. He already is having some trouble But after that, I mean the glaze has got to be like say I can't believe we're drinking this many beers right now I can't believe he can see that they're beers. He just Yeah, no, he's all over the place, but that could have happened. I don't know totally just make that up Seems very plausible though. I'll let you guys decide in the comments section though I just thought this was weird and worthy of report Because this is not it's not like you know some 2008 email or something which will also be like you know a real smoking gun or something Yeah, but at least back then they had the guys of like no one's talking about this so we can do some biz Behind the scenes. What do you make it like the little final line in the email of like oh If this wasn't what you were looking for and you're confused just throw this in the trash I'm like that just feels like I'm just talking. Yeah, that's the like eyes You know, I'm the stupid bitch. I don't know why I said this but you know That's that's the bento's talking right there Yeah, so it's unclear what lady Victoria Harvey Walker misspelled her surname in the email. He was drunk to might have wanted to contact but tell about she is a British socialite who makes an appearance in the Epstein files She has long defended Andrew Mountbatten Windsor whom she once stated and downplayed his relationship with Epstein again if you weren't in the files You weren't important According to her You know, it was like a bit. I mean Kurt Metzger made it Kurt Metzger was in the files. He's important. Well, like even the way they put it here It's like the British socialite who makes an appearance in the Epstein. It's like a guest spot on a team show I made my appearance like oh nine. I think we said those emails. That was like you made it on fucking friends or signs Yeah, it's like it's like getting CSI as an actor Listen, I got law and order. I'm the dead. It's about to change. I got law order. I got law and order. I don't mind But you see me made an appearance in the e-files made an appearance wearing some fucking eyes wide shut mask Which you know and by the way, not the there's a little side swipe we love Kurt Metzger Kurt Metzger When I say he made it in the files. It's because he was doing a comic show The seller at the seller and someone emailed Jeffery Epstein who was in the seller at night. Yeah, and Kurt Metzger talked about what he's on the cell show So obviously Kurt Metzger is not like in the files. He just had the cloud of being mentioned in there. Yeah, I mean You could have been subscribed to your newsletter and if your newsletter went in every morning you're in there You made an appearance. So if Lady Victoria Harvey's talking about the cloud of being in the Epstein files Don't and Kurt Metzger's in them. She should probably make an appearance on the mystery boys And fuck a duck and I think she owes that I think that would be the best thing she could do for her career right now What is her what is the career of a British social like do you know what that looks like Joey Deef? Um Well Yeah, it's probably just a lot of like playing polo and I don't think she's swinging a stick She's swinging a stick. All right. Yeah stick as annex right into that glass of wine. I'm gonna swing that right in there cubie sneak That's what she's doing So that's the job yeah little zanny little wine little zanny a little wine sound pompous couple executions on a choose day couple executions Yeah, I just imagined there's still a dungeon and people are chained up I just why I hope it's still like that at least you hope it's all like that. Yeah We need some excitement right now That would be exciting If you told me that they're like chaining people up under the castle and that there's a moat and a dragon come and I'd be like Thank you Uh, I need some action in my life. Joey Deef says yeah My six is watching dude. Yeah. Yeah, you know Some of it is just it's already been told to us in art and maybe it's a definitely it's a lot worse Danny Jones and I were talking yesterday he went back I told him I went back and watched eyes wise shut again a couple months ago So he went back and watched it on the plane here Yesterday and he was like dude dude And you you know like all the stuff that went down with that movie Yeah, but tell the people who don't know so eyes wide shots 1999 and Joey Deef's gonna tell you some of the backstory right here It was the Tom Cruise Nicole Kidman movie. Yeah, and I know it's gonna be a half baked the back story So but there was just a lot of disputes with him in the studios as to what was gonna be allowed in the film on the film There was a cut that he wanted they didn't want it and um Yeah, that he died Yeah, a few days after he showed the studios. Yeah, he died and apparently when he was walking out of the showing with the executives He was heard yelling like this is my movie god damn it. It was very contentious and um the cut that they released happened to just be the cut That the studio preferred which was yeah Which still shows a lot so the cons if you have not seen the film I highly recommended it's still Even though Kubrick died and then they released it later and it was their cut and not his it's still an excellent Oh, yeah excellent film and Stanley Kubrick is one of the goats Stanley Kubrick by the way Check the fuck out of Hollywood in the early 60s went to the UK and because he was like I'm out on this This is not wherever was going on there
He was like, yeah, he's not interested in this life. - Yeah. - I want to make films, you know? So he makes, you know, this is the guy who obviously did Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, like one of the legends of the game. So made Lolita. - It made Lolita, the interesting name right there. - Well, do you know the book Lolita? - Uh-huh. - Yeah. - Again. - That's what I'm saying. - There's a lot of these ties where I'm like, he was keyed into what was going on. - 'Cause that is, that was a favorite of Epstein. - Epstein's, a lot of these guys. - I feel like we've been playing named the Lolita Express. - Uh-huh. - They don't even hide it. - I know. - So Eyes Wide Shut comes out in 1999. A lot of it was filmed in 1997, I built it in '96, '97. It was all filmed in the UK, but it takes place in New York. And some spoiler alerts here. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it, but you know, for the rest of you. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. At the time they were a real life couple, they're the stars of this thing. And it, long story short, devolves into, they have this kind of weird marriage and they have one daughter together, but he's a doctor and takes care of some wealthy people and they go to a party at the beginning, this is a normal party, as far as I can tell. But the guy who is running the party is a high New York socialite that is one of his Tom Cruise's patients. And then the pianist at that party who was hired happened to be someone who used to be a medical school with Tom Cruise's character. So they get to talking later and the pianist talks about how he gets this other job, where he has to wear a blindfold and they take him out to an address that they don't tell him about until an hour before. And Tom Cruise gets really curious and the guy says, "Look, if you're gonna come, the password is Fidelio," and you need to wear a cloak and a mask. So Tom Cruise goes, "It gets a cloak and a mask." And there's all kinds of, like, the Easter eggs that Stanley Kubrick puts in his movies are always insane. The Easter eggs in this film, we will never know all of them. There are that many. So there's a lot of different weird symbols that happen along the way that are being skipped in my little synopsis right here, but long story short, Tom Cruise shows up to this party. It's Adam Manchin, secluded Manchin, which is supposed to be in, like, either Westchester County-- - I think it's Westchester, yeah. - Yeah, or one of the enclave places, but it was filmed, like I said, everything was filmed in the UK. So of all the places, Stanley Kubrick filmed it at a rough child family mansion. Kind of interesting choice right there. But he gets there and it's this satanic ritual with all these people in mass, where, you know, it's this satanic sex ritual and he's eventually discovered to be an intruder and they kick him out and then they scare the shit out of him. And that's kind of the movie right there. But one of the things at the end that stayed in the cut, that sinister and it's been debated. And I've seen different videos. I want to say Moon might have made a video on this where he talked about this. It was wonderful. A bigger YouTube creator did 'cause there's a bunch of cool videos trying to break down, eyes wide shut. But one of the guys, I hope it was Moon, if it wasn't, I'm sorry, if I'm given the wrong value right there. But in the final scene, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman take their little daughter, Christmas shopping. And there's all kinds of symbolism in the stuffed animals and stuff that are around that they're walking through, but they're talking about this whole odyssey that just happened to Tom Cruise and trying to make sense of all but get their life back together. And they have their eyes completely on their daughter and she's kind of guiding them through the store. And then they come up to this one aisle and they kind of stop and they watch their daughter walk through them and they watch her walk and slowly turn back towards them with like almost a little wave. And as they watch that, they turn towards each other and they never look her way again and she's gone. And as she's leaving, there are two men right there that are right in front of her that she's leaving with allegedly. And those are some of the other, these two, there's a constant theme of two men throughout the film. Two men came and beat the shit out of one guy for talking. Two men were sitting at the table right there at the initial party that Tom Cruise went to when he was introducing his wife to his client who was the guy at the middle of this that I talked about at the beginning. There's this constant two men thing and so there may have been a little wink and a nod, dark wink and a nod right there from Stanley Kubrick, Pierce Back, where he's saying that to preserve their lives, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kimman's characters after the shit that Tom Cruise pulled, they had to give their daughter up into the cult, which is like the darkest fucking thing ever. But it's so subtle that if that is the case and that is what Kubrick was trying to get at, the studio executives who had the final edit on this film didn't even catch it and it stayed in there. - Yeah. - Yeah, it's a hell of a picture. - I wonder if his cut even exists still. - I wonder that whole time. - I wonder if he had a dead man switch. - As we love saying. But I wonder if he actually did. - Yeah, I'd love to know. But he, you know, listen, he was older. You know, he was like 71, 72, something like that. He died of a heart attack, it's possible. It's possible that I have to say that, it was natural. And whatever, maybe he was very stressed out over fighting over the final cut. But it's very notable that it was within days of the studio seeing his initial cut and it is a known fact that there was a strong disagreement after that cut was viewed. - Yeah. - So I don't know, I think about that one a lot. I think it's one of those films that when it came out wasn't fully appreciated and as the years go on and also the weird stories in real life get weirder and weirder. It ages like, unfortunately. I'll say, it ages like the finest wine ever. For all the wrong reasons, but I'm glad he did it and said like, hey, there's some sort of subculture here that's really bad. - Because there's no Joey Dief, I'm a firm believer in this. There's no system, there's no group that is all one way. But there are groups that happen to exist that we well know now in any elite circles, whether you look at business entertainment, you name it, finance, all of politics. There are circles that exist of really, really, really rotten apples and the one thing that they can do for sure, outside all the shit they do, is they can at least create an environment to where the people who are not rotten apples, if they know anything about it, don't fucking talk. - Yep. - Because it is above their pay grade. It's above their pay grade. And Stanley Kubrick was a guy when you look at his career who kind of didn't give a fuck. - Yeah, I mean, you should go back and watch 2001 and think about AI and technocracy because that's another one where I'm just like, this fucking guy, dude, he was so fucking. He was on it. - He was a very brilliant man. - What if, when we were having that conversation yesterday, dinner about like, tapping into something different? - Yeah, yeah. - He's one of those guys I'll look at. Obviously, he was an amazing artist, but you just look at the stories he told and how they aged. There was something in his brain. Obviously, some of it's personal experience, but then like, you talk about it with a space odyssey. - Yeah. - And like, the ability to fine tune yourself and do it into a dystopian future, but be able to see it. Like, an Orwell did. - Yeah, yeah. It's like this. - And they're doing this like decades and decades and decades out that it's just like, wow. Crazy. Like, I wonder how they felt living in their time, having these thoughts, like, they must have really felt like they were on an island. - No pun intended. - Seriously. (laughs) Yeah, no, it's interesting. So, I highly recommend that movie to everyone, even just like the way it's made and be artistry. No, but it's amazing. It's a real story. - It's smoking that pot. It's making you aggressive. I think the pot's making you aggressive. - It's a pretty good Tom Cruise, dude. - It's hot. - You gotta get a little cruise. - All right, but like I said, at the beginning, CIA director to Russia with Love, what do you make of this, Joey Deef? - Visa, you know, just paint his-- - Pain his respects. - Pain his respects. - Pain his respects. Let's pull this article, try to get to the bottom of this. But obviously, the Ukraine war is coming up on five years at this point. Obviously, the United States has been funding the shit out of this for a long time. Obviously, millions of people have been killed or are casualties of this war. Obviously, it's a bad luck. And obviously we have also now seen an escalation to where Danny
And I talked about it yesterday, he brought it up. But now Zelensky launched a drone attack in the Caspian Sea that affected the Iranians which could purge back, but seems, you know, one plus one, usually equals two, which could be an effort to tie link the Iran War with the Ukraine War, which would, it would, by definition, start to turn this into a world war type scenario, very, very bad. It's like, it's all fucking simmering in all the wrong ways for all the wrong reasons. And now, A-Pak John Ratcliffe spawns in to Russia. And so to be clear, he did not meet directly with Putin, but he did meet directly with his counterpart, who is the head of Russia's FSB, which is like their CIA and formerly what was the KGB when it was Soviet Union. So this is from Barry Weiss, CBS News, CIA Director John Ratcliffe met Russian intel counterparts on a secretive visit to Moscow. The Kremlin says, "News of his trip came after a U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17A Globe Master 3. What a name, by the way." A U.S. Say that one four times, Fest. Petroplane was spotted flying into a Moscow airport Tuesday morning and then a U.S. diplomatic motorcade was seen driving through the city. The CIA did not comment on his trip, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters in Moscow on Wednesday that Ratcliffe held talks with Russian intelligence officials during his visit, but that he did not meet with President Vladimir Putin. Peskov told reporters Putin was briefed on the talks, but he said it was too soon to predict whether U.S. intelligence officials meeting might help get bilateral U.S.-Russian relations out of what he called "a deep crisis" more than 4.5 years into Russia's war on Ukraine. It wasn't immediately clear if Ratcliffe had left Moscow on Wednesday, after his first known trip to Russia as CIA director, he has maintained contact with Russian intelligence counterparts during his tenure. According to CBS News sources, ahead of his trip, the U.S. told Ukrainian officials that the senior delegation would be traveling to Moscow and ask Kiev to suspend strikes until the delegation's departure from Russia. It's like, "Let's get a little intermission on this war, I know we're doing a lot of drone-on-drone crime, but the boys are rolling through town, we're gonna have a few drinks, little little vodka's rolled back with the boys, and then when we leave, y'all can start fucking bombing each other again. That's not dark at all." Anyway, recent U.S. intelligence assessment indicates Putin's risk calculus may be shifting with the Russian leader potentially increasingly willing to authorize provocative actions against NATO members, including hybrid operations and other deniable measures, short of conventional military action in order to test the resolve of the alliance and the Trump administration, which is kind of in rocky waters right now. So to speak. Donald Trump did come out and say yesterday with full assurance that he's not going to attack NATO. Putin is not going to do that. He'd seem very sure. So, deal with that what you want. We'll see, Don. But with the last time a CIA director had traveled to Moscow was William Burns in 2021 ahead of the war when he was reaching a crisis point and they were trying to like allegedly, unless it's all show and tell, which that's probably what it is, trying to deescalate the situation. So this has not happened, but it's notable that there's such a, you know, calm, seemingly regular little meeting of like the top intelligence officials in the middle of a war that they're on the opposite side. It's a little strange that something like this is normalized. My hope, your hope, all of our hope is that some cooler heads are prevailing and that they're going there to actually try to talk about whining this down because it's bad for visit this point. Unfortunately, that's probably very optimistic thinking. Yeah. Right. You know, a few more bodies to drop. Nice excuse to have a few more weapons to fund Lindsey Graham's now here, but we can do it in his memory. Do it in his honor. Do it in his honor. Do it in his honor. He loved this. This, this was his meaning of life. Yeah. It was his fetish. So I would say, some would say it was his fetish. It was. That in trans escorts. Yeah. He wanted to watch the boys perish. That's what got him going. That's what got him going and died doing what he loved. Yeah. He did die doing what he loved. He's paying the paper now. I'll tell you that. All right. That's a pause. Just saying. What are you doing? What? It's paying the paper. Yeah. Come on. He's down. He's down in hell. Just paying it. Told Lucifer. I think he might like that. Oh. I know. Paying the paper? Yeah. I don't know, dude. He was, he was get a lot of pipes. Yeah. But now down there, it's like an eternal pipe that it's very hot. It's just, yeah. It's torturous. It's torturous. You're not supposed to enjoy it. If you enjoy it, I think even Lucifer is like, Jesus Christ, what the fuck am I doing? He's dropping in Jesus. What am I going to do with this guy? What am I going to do with him? Just send him upstairs. I think we should just send him to purgatory. I think that's the worst place for this guy. Because we'll just float around. They float around. They'll just be floating. There's no war. You just got to think about it. Yeah. It's not going to do. Yeah. That might be where Lindsey Graham is. Honestly, dude. Yeah. Yeah. He's in purgatory. The hell is like, yo. Yeah, they're like two. Sorry, fam. He likes us too much. Like this guy. So excited to be here too much. It was not immediately clear if the CIA had any role in another exchange that a Russian official said took place on Wednesday. Reuters quoted Russian human rights commissioner. That's a shot. That's a human rights commissioner. Wow. Yana Lantratova, as saying 10 prisoners of war from each side were exchanged during a holdover in Belarus, which would be a relatively low number compared to previous swaps. Imagine that. Like what do you do? You put on LinkedIn. Congratulations. You're the new human rights commissioner of Russia. So is it like, well, yesterday, we did not electrocute the bolts. We simply dip in ice for long periods. It's better that way. Yeah. Like, that's the job. The job is like, and then they're like, and then they're like, how do we celebrate the CIA director come into town? I think we should do a quick swap. Quick swap. 10. 10 for 10. Leave them with a mark on the way out. Yeah. You know, no branding to remember their time by life is crazy. Life is crazy. But Trump said this was, quote, a semi-routine trip. Whenever you have to put the word semi in front of it, it's already a big hedge. It's a big tail, tail sign. It's also a lie. There's nothing routine about this. This has not happened. Like we said, this has not happened since before the war. It's still a war that's being actively funded. And it's happening in a time where the Ukrainians did try to escalate this and tie it to the Iran war. Yeah. I think calling it a routine is actually a terrible look for them with all the Russia talk over the years. Oh, so this is routine for you. Yeah. You guys are over there often. Yeah. What did we, what did you just pull up, Joe? This was just Mario's Roundup. Oh, Mario and I'll fall. Roundup of it. Is there anything we didn't cover in there? Wow, it looks, yeah, it looks like that was everything we covered. Yeah. All right. Well, I think what they're going to have to do, this is potentially some extra press that he wasn't looking for. This is a real sleek 10,000 mile flight into Russia. You're just trying to slide this one in there. The Harlem Globe Trotter 75,000 on the Harlem Road Trotter 75,000, a very, very important jet. That's definitely what it's called. But like, you know, then the Russians, if you notice, they're the ones who are coming out. Like, yes, we can confirm this. Yes, this happened. Yes, he was here. Yeah, they're like, where is the US? I was like, trying to keep you low. Trying to keep you low. Okay. I thought Russians were the ones that said, don't talk of you. Die. Yeah. Russia. Russia was the three. They brought home from the bar. They're like, why are you going to remember it? Yeah. You don't have to talk about it. It's between you and me. You were a seven. By the time I was looking at it. Yeah. Yeah. This is our thing. Don't tell everyone about it. Yeah. Don't tell them about this. But then Russia went and told everyone about it. It's a good, like, you know, we're the optics experts apparently here, Joey D for good optics. They should go look to try to finish the job on these fishing boats that apparently they couldn't finish the first time around. Nothing like a good drone strike in the Galapagos to get people's minds off the war in Russia and the CIA director meeting with the counterintelligence officials on the other side, right? Yeah. Even just seeing the picture of the headline. It's like not someone from the Middle Eastern, Eastern Europe and it already throws you off. It throws you off. Yeah. You're like, wait, we're doing stuff here. Do you? Yes. Has anyone talked to Eric Prince in the last 12 months? Do we know? He's working. Do we? He's working. He's working. Yeah. I could say this after the fact because when Eric Prince was here for episode 305, we recorded that May 2025, very interesting guy. But like three days afterwards, like when we were putting out the episode, The New York Times reported that Eric Prince had been commissioned to like bomb all these trap houses in Haiti on behalf of the U.S. government. But we got off, that wasn't public when I recorded with him. And we got off camera. We went over to take a picture and he's like, well, see something cool. I was like, sure. Like a Lessi. It was like right at the end of the time when Lessi was on the board. I was like, yeah, Lessi's like, oh God. It takes out the phone and it's just like it's a security camera like eyes in the sky drone footage. And you just--
just see like some moving heat signatures and like this house and nothing's happening for like 15 seconds. And I'm like, what am I looking at? He's like, just give it a minute. And then you just see like, "Dush, heat map die, heat map go this way." And he goes, it's a Haitian trap house. Fucking awesome. I was like, "Oh, that's great, that's Mr. Prince." That's very cool. Yeah, I hope they were really bad. I hope all of them were bad because I'm sure they were. I don't know if we can run that back. I was like, yeah, I think I got to sweep this place at this point. Jesus. Very interesting guy though. So I guess in Tim Dylan's parlance, you could say Eric Prince friend in the show. Well, I was going to say in his parlance too, or I think Putin says this, a job is a job. A job's a job, I guess. You wish him well. Yeah, you wish the people, the heat signatures there well. Yeah, don't not plan on a trip to here, you know. I don't think I'm going down there. Yeah, I've heard enough about, I mean, we've Arabian here talking about being kidnapped in Haiti. I mean, shout out to my Haitians. Shout out to God, I love the Haitians. Yeah, the Haitians are great. All the Haitians I know are great. It's just a tough time down there for sure. A lot of things going on. Send them strength. Yeah, the Clinton Foundation has been down there a bunch. That's not a good look. You know, sure, they're down there for humanitarian purposes. Yeah, it's what the lawyers would want us to say, right? I just imagine Hillary Clinton coming out and doing like a dance with all the, we're going to beat him in the shark. Yeah, all the village kids gathering as they all dance with her. Yes, that's, that's probably how it looks, right? She doing, is she doing the, the little snaps up high? Yeah, yeah, and there's like lots of jazz hands. Lots of, oh yeah, give him a little swing. They're all wearing little USAID t-shirts and they're all like, can we, can we get three of them are trans? They're just like listening. Yeah, one more hour and then you get lunch, one more hour, a few more shots. You get lunch and a few more shots. Oh, what a dark life. Can we, can we pull up this article because this was, they missed. That's why this can't be Eric Prince because they missed some of these on the fuckers lived. I have it already archived out there, yes, right there. I have the link. Like Eric Prince, say what you want, dude, don't miss a lot, right? Sometimes, I guess. When he takes a shot, he hits so, oh, no. Yeah. Coverts is from Washington Post, covert CIA program said to be behind mysterious attacks on Galapagos boats. They're going right for Darwin. Wait, this is what I said I did earlier at the beginning of the episode when you're like, yes, that's right. Oh, I didn't do this. Oh, you're denying it. No, I'm denying it, dude. You wouldn't, you wouldn't want to hit the Galapagos. No, no, I wouldn't. Do you even know who they hit Joey Deef? Ah, don't deny it before you find out who they were targeting. Yeah. I'm going to find out with you. Let's go do some biz with them. Maybe, let's see. Definitely, definitely some biz. So the mysterious strikes targeting multiple Ecuadorian fishing boats near the Galapagos Islands this year were carried out as a part of a covert CIA program. Is there any other kind? Is there a CIA program that's like not covert? Yeah, like a like a public CIA fucking campaign. All right. While many details about the agency's involvement were not clear, one person would knowledge of the matter said the strikes were part of a covert action program, a type of secret operation overseas that is approved by the president, but where the role of the US government is not publicly in knowledge until they tell the watch to post about it. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the subject sensitivity. No agency or government has claimed responsibility for the incidents, including the disappearance in January of a fishing vessel and eight of its crew members. The CIA's involvement adds a new and secretive dimension to the Trump administration's otherwise highly publicized campaign against alleged drug traffickers at sea. Let's go down. Yeah. They declined to comment. Of course, the strikes are separate from the Pentagon's campaign against alleged drug boats that began last fall, if you remember in the build up to Venezuela, there was a lot of things going on. Those strikes have been fiercely criticized by human rights groups and some democratic lawmakers who say they are extrajudicial murders. The administration has justified the strikes by equating narcoterrorists with militants assaulting the United States. Again, they use terms like that to justify it when they've called the fucking cartels in Mexico, narcoterrorists and then terrorist organizations and they're funding them and they're inside of them and they haven't fucking bombed the shit out of that country, which I'm not asking them to. Yeah. Please don't do that. I mean, I'd say I'm very glad you haven't bombed them, but it's just interesting because they were acting like they were going to be the logic, the logic, it's very, it's very picking choosy. Yes. Yes. So, the eight missing Ecuadorian nationals were aboard a 52 foot long line fishing boat called the Fiorrella. The men on two boats that were struck in March, the golden rule was broken, Joey Deef. You can't leave witnesses. The Negra Francisco Duarte II and the Don Macca all survived. And you know what they did, Joey Deef? They chirped. They went to the Washington Post. Yeah. In interviews with the post, survivors said the small quadcopter drones either dropped munitions on the vessels or detonated by crashing into them, full-blown kamikaze drones. Wow. They said they were taken aboard a nearby ship hooded and cuffed by armed men. You mean they captured them and then let them go and talked to the post and transported to El Salvador only to be returned. They went to the fucking guys, that crazy prison announced in El Salvador, probably, or were supposed to go there, but they were only to be returned later without explanation to Ecuador. Somebody fucked up the paperwork. Someone got real chewed out for that, at Langley. They're like, even at Langley, they're like, "Yo, you kidnapped a fucking priest." Or something. Like, something happened. And they're like, "I should just kill him." And they're like, "No, damn it. You can't kill him now. You had to kill him on the boat." That's what the drones were for. It's all right. Well, we could do this. We could take him up back. Shoot him. No one will ever know. And they're like, "No, no, no." No, let him go. They are. Someone already chirped. And each of the incidents, a high-end business jet equipped with specialized surveillance technology, flew from El Salvador in the direction of the fishing vessels on the days of the strikes and in the days prior, according to flight and ship tracking data. Details about the plane and the pattern of its flights before the incident suggest it may be linked to a secret CIA program. Can we read that? I want to read that quote again. Go out real quick. A high-end business jet. A biz jet equipped with specialized surveillance technology. What's a business that has a spare? Yeah. You see what I'm. You're picking up what I'm. A Palantir plane. A P.P. Little. Little P.P. A little P.P. Flying around El Salvador. What do you know? You got to hit him. You got to miss. You got to hit him. It's actually the largest P.P. we've ever seen. It's actually a huge P.P. A huge P.P. That's the only thing we did here. So what does this map look like, Joey? Let's see. It's the last reported boat locations in surveillance plane pass. Oh, they're out there. Yeah, they're out there. They're headed for fucking Japan. They're doing something. Yeah, they're doing something. And the surveillance planes all coming from El Salvador. That's an interesting relationship we got there. Right. He's like the cool dictator. Powered by Bitcoin. What's that guy's name again? Fucking, I always forget. Mr. El Salvador. Yeah, the Mr. Buckelli, naive Buckelli. He's a dictator, but he's like the cool dictator. That's not my words. That's just what people say. But he like, you know, sees power of Congress, like right when he got in there. But he's like, but we're going to do Bitcoin. It's people like, all right. They're like, oh, that's based. He's based, cleaned up crime. He suspended some civil liberty. Yeah, but yeah, but yeah, but yeah. You got to crack a few eggs to make it happen. Bitcoin's legal tender. Bitcoin's legal. Crime is down. People are locked up. Nothing to say. What's a few human rights violations, right? It's like it's the old pendulum, Joey Deef. For every action, there's an equal but opposite reaction. And when that shit gets violent in those actions and reactions, shit gets a little out of whack to create equilibrium. Yeah. That's kind of physics where it is there. I'm glad their streets are safer. I'll do that. You got to get mad. I'm just saying, you know, well, I got no love for the MS-13 guys to be clear. But like, maybe don't create a dystopian fucking or well in prison. Just say, I'm not saying prison should be a Marriott. I'm not like that. But you gotta be reasonable. Geneva conventions, you know? Society only functions with a benevolent image. Who said that? Slav Ogezizek, he was talking about the Dark Knight and like the Joker and Batman. Did he really say that? Yeah, and he was saying like that movie is pretty much showing how society needs a benevolent image to function. And Nolan was cooking in that trilogy. That was another guy. He saw ahead. Well, I was going to say it before. Kubrick is like a more brilliant version of that. Like he's not, I don't think he's as brilliant as Kubrick. He's more like Kubrick gets something like deep in the roots of like you're thinking about shit like that. I don't think Nolan gets that as much. He gets it. He gets it.
He's up there, for sure. Like he's tapped into something. But that trilogy of a literal like superhero story, like this fictionalized outlandish kind of thing said so much about society to come that perhaps the more I think about it, movies came out '05, '08, 2012. So they're filmed in like '04, '07, 2011. Yeah. I think about this a lot as to whether or not he was already showing us a mirror of what already existed and we just didn't notice it yet, or if he was just a little ahead of the curve and saw what was about to exist. I'm torn between them. I think the former. Yeah, I think you might be right. Yeah, I think you might be right, but I'm torn between the two. So I think about that a lot. But we got to talk about the hack that you were-- That I can tell that we chose it. Yeah, oh, so you're admitting it. You're admitting that you conducted this hack of the DOJ. Oh, I'm admitting it. Trader among us. Oh, I'm admitting is the obvious that I am Chinese. Oh, he calls Professor Zheng a CCP agent. And it's your projection. I don't actually. I've called him that many times. I think he's-- Don't lie like a mattress. I think he's clean cut, man. OK. But this is the CCP agent. So I got to take a leak real quick and then we'll come back and talk about it. We'll be right back. All right, we're back. So Steve's already got it up. This is from USA Today. US says Chinese hackers broke into the DOJ NASA Federal Reserve and sent it. That's a fucking mother load right there. Like whoever did that on your end, they got to raise. Yeah, they got to raise for sure. Yeah, they were. Did you get a company email from Xi Jinping? Like, yeah, nice work, fam. He's like, boys, we did it. We did it. We're in. They hacked into NASA. I wonder if they got the moon files on that. Justice Department said August 26 that is disrupted. Well, now it's disrupted. A Chinese hacking operation that it believes is responsible for cyber break ins of the DOJ, as well as NASA, the Federal Reserve, the Senate, and other sensitive US government agencies. But wait, there's more. In a statement that the Justice Department announced that it had seized internet domains used by two hacking platforms, dubbed QScan and QT Router, which it said were used in the penetration campaign. Oh, as described in court documents unsealed in the Southern District, California, a People's Republic of China state sponsor group known as QT-5, employed by China-based Nanjing-jin-wei network technology company created, don't nod your head along like you like this. No, your pronunciation was very good. That's why I nod. Thank you. Created and operate. It's not Mom Donny level, though. I gotta say that. That's nice. You fucking-- That was not the first time he spoke Chinese. Yeah, no, he's definitely spoken that ship before. It was nice. He did cook on the accent. It's kind of an interesting way to cook on. Created and operated by the two hacking platforms. Among the victims of QT-5's computer intrusion activity, we already listed those out. But it was also the Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, how they hit off K2. National Institute's a Health and the US Senate. USA Today is reaching out to the Chinese Embassy in Washington for comment, which I'm sure they'll give. In the past, the Beijing government has denied responsibility for any US-directed hacking activity. Quote, "State-sponsored malicious hackers "praying on America's critical infrastructure "will be stopped and prosecuted. "We are here to ensure security for the American people. "And we'll use every tool we have to keep that promise." Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement, "Not exactly a sign of confidence "that it already fucking happened." It sounded pretty prototypical, that's it. Yeah, it sounded like a lawyer wrote that one. FBI director Cash Patel is on the case and said the bureau played a key role in the disruption of, can you scroll down, Droidy? Of a global blotnet and hacking platform used by Chinese state-sponsored hackers to target US-critical infrastructure. In support of President Donald Trump's cyber strategy for America, which doesn't seem to be working out very well, Patel said the FBI is surging efforts to shape adversary behavior and defend the homeland inside of space. Yeah, Cash, my money. Part of great defense is preventing, you know, the goals before they happen, not after you're already down, six to nothing. Imagine when it was be like working in the Chinese embassy too in Washington, like, fuck dude, like. Imagine, I feel like you've been there. You just gotta like, they're walking in, like, you guys do this shit and you gotta be like, "Oh, no, what do you mean?" No, no, no, no, that wasn't nice. I can't, I don't speak, and they're like, fuck. Yeah, that's right. Pulling that card. They did, I will say though, they China and China had a tough one this week too, on their own. Oh, dude, I got the video on that shit. I don't even know if we can play this on YouTube because it shows people getting hit. This was the first thing I saw when I woke up, whenever this was yesterday or the day before. First thing I saw, I think this was Wednesday. So, should I put it on screen? This is, let's stick it on screen real quick before we play it. This is the border of China and Nepal. Essentially, what's been discovered now is a glacier, a part of a glacier came loose on the mountain side, like it gave way, which created a massive dam that basically unloaded of water. And there's nothing, this is a stark reminder that there is absolutely fucking nothing more powerful in any way, shape or form than mother nature. That's it, it wants to fuck you, it will. And this flood was released down the mountain. It's effectively an avalanche, except it's water. So, you can imagine it moved faster and it's just absolutely, it just blows everything away in its sight. And so, you just see all these people, they finally hear it coming and they're running for their lives and I'm willing to say this. All the people you see in that video are dead. As very sad, there is, this is an unsurvivable event. You cannot live through something like this, but let's hit play on it and we'll kind of roll the dice here. But you see them all running and you see the water come up from behind and everything. This is, everything's just gone. The whole, I mean, that is, that's a surge. Holy shit. What was the surge for Hurricane Katrina like 12 feet? - Something like that. - Yeah, I don't know. - That took out that capacity. That is literally, that's some zoon shit. No, it's like a, it's like a Poseidon chick, some tsunami type. But that's what I'm saying, that's beyond a tsunami. It's still going. It was still going. It was still going. All those people are gone. That's crazy. That's horrible. Let's see, you hate to see something like that. It was absolutely terrible. But, you know, that's stark reminder. Life is fucking, life is fragile. Very fragile. But we did say, at the beginning, we were talking about this meta lawsuit. It happened. So meta has been told they got to pay out over 17.1 billion to victims in a class action lawsuit. So the landmark settlement over media, social media addiction claims. So we've seen how social media has affected everyone down to your boomer grandparents and everything. But we have particularly seen how the youngest generations who grew up with a lot of it, which includes our generation and everything. And now the kids all coming up have been affected by what they see on the screens and some of the things that they shouldn't have to be exposed to. And then also get addicted to the dopamine loops that are part of the business product on these platforms where the product is us, people. And so with kids, they are extremely malleable. And, you know, it was finally, it's been brought up many times before. There's been cases over stuff like this, but there was a massive lawsuit that has had some success. And, you know, 17.1 billion dollars meta is gonna survive that. That's not, it's not putting an enormous den in them. But the precedent of what it could set here as we were saying at the beginning of the episode with new rules is interesting. Because I've always cited this in different contexts on the podcast over the years. Since the beginning of the show, the earliest episodes, it's like, you know, I think communism's terrible. Unfortunately, when you are a totalitarian system like that, you don't have the constitution. You don't have rights to get around so you can make some decisions that are good for the intellectual capital of the state sometimes. And one of the things that China has done for a long time is that TikTok, which, you know, until the Ellison's bought it was a Chinese company, was brought into America and all the 12-year-olds were seeing fucking titty videos all day. And watching it all hours of the night 'cause there was no limit on it because in our open democracy, you could do whatever the fuck you wanted more on that in a minute. Whereas in China, their kids on their version of TikTok were limited in the time they could watch it during the day. It turned off at like eight o'clock at night every night for kids. And instead of titty videos, they were getting fucking math videos and science videos and nature videos and things that could actually stimulate learning and things that are positive for them to, you know, get interested in the kind of stuff that's gonna be useful in society instead of starting to fucking only fans page 10 years later or something like that or subscribing to why I guess. But like, now there might be some new rules. So let's go down here. This was in 47 States of settlement. Metta on Wednesday reached a landmark settlement with 47 States, the District of Columbia and US territories agreeing to pay up to 70 in point 1.5.
$1 billion in penalties and make major changes to its products over claims at endangered children with addictive social media platforms. In a dramatic capitulation, the owner of Facebook and Instagram agreed to the financial penalties for violating federal child privacy and state's consumer protection laws that states announced. Meta also agreed to limit how long teenagers can spend on its platform and to ban features that stoke mental health issues striking at the heart of the company's business of engagement for advertising. One quick question I'm going to have here to monitor moving forward though is where the line is drawn on mental health issues stuff. I'm all for that, but can that then be used as a tool to propagandize kids in the future by saying, oh, this could be mental health so you can't see this when it's something that maybe they need to see, right? Like I don't know. Again, I've liked the sound of that, but you have to play out like where this could be misused now. The focus of this case was to protect our kids, stopping notifications and alerts at night and when they are in school encouraging them to take breaks from social media protecting them against harmful features that Colorado's attorney general Phil Weiser in a statement, the agreement exceeded what most courts might order he added. The settlement effectively ends a bellweather federal trial in the U.S. Northern District California and Oakland were California, Colorado, Kentucky, and New Jersey. We're seeking roughly 200 billion over accusations that metaharm children. The states filed their agreement with meta on Wednesday morning in that court where judge Ivan Gonzalez Rogers is expected to approve it separately met a set on Wednesday that it settled with Texas for almost one billion over similar allegations. The company still faces numerous other lawsuits. So the stock price went down, I want to get down to some of the, all right, so the settlement could signal an inflection point, yada, yada, yada, and a call with reporters on Wednesday metah's legal team said the company negotiated the terms of its settlement to require the other companies to join setting industry standards that would not single out meta. Meta wants to ensure teens have a safe and productive experience on our platforms and a partner with state attorney's generals, but I love how they say that partnered with state attorney's generals to set a new industry standard, partnered for a cost of 18 billion. He implored other companies to settle. This framework will only work if all our peers join us because teens move fluidly across dozens of apps. We need an industry-wide solution. So I want to go down some more to get to some of the actual actionable items that they could have here. Keep going. The settlement will effectively force metah to make major product changes for all U.S. teen users. The company agreed to interrupt endless scrolling and to impose a two-hour daily time limit on Instagram and Facebook. To avoid addictive use and sleep interruptions, the company will limit usage between midnight and 6 a.m. And silence notifications during school hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. I'm assuming this is all time-zone-sensitive as well. Meta will also limit features that psychologists linked to negative social comparisons such as beauty filters, good, and a tallying of the like button clicks. It will also strengthen age verification tools and parental controls. Many of the changes are similar to ones that Meta has made in the last year. The company has for years committed to enforcing age requirements and creating technology that figures out if teenagers are lying about their age. But as part of the settlement, Meta said it would invest more in that effort. The changes are significant, but not totally revolutionary, said Violet, Jorra Lehman, the director of Life Sciences Law and Pilecy Center at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, adding that some of the restrictions already exist in Europe. I do think that using these platforms as a minor will start to look pretty different than it did five years ago. Mr. Jorra Lehman added, there are going to be a lot more restrictions. So again, I'm going to stick by what I said. I like the idea of this. You just don't want to see it translate into other things because like as an example, this is really going down the separate slope. The EU, they just mentioned they already have rules like this. In the EU, there's all kinds of free speech issues with what goes on for adult users over there. Big time. Like, I know like even Elon Musk was fighting with them over things on Twitter. And like, there's a lot of things, obviously, they're controversial about Elon Musk and things to criticize as well. But I do appreciate the fact that like X Twitter, whatever you call it, is way more wide open than it used to be. And I have to give credit to the fact that that has also happened and dragged over to platforms like Instagram and Facebook, things that would have gotten you banned over there. Now our common parlance on those apps and some of it is very ugly. That's how it works though. That's how free speech has to work. You have to see the great and the bad and you've got to let the great win over time. It's just how it is. So this is going to be interesting to track. Obviously, Meadow was financially in lawsuit incentivized to really take action. Like, it does seem like there was a little PR put in that article of like, well, they were already taking a lot of actions to try to get out of this. Yeah. We were working on this actually. Yeah. And like, New York Times didn't seem to really fight that one and push back on that. But you know, neither here nor there. Maybe there's a little conversation that happens behind the scene on the PR front there. But it's just, it's an interesting development that should be good for our kids. But does not need to be a Pandora's box opening the door to a lot of other things that can happen, including two adults on these apps. I'm just always going to look at free speech first and be like, as long as that's still protected. But it's an interesting constitutional question that I am not qualified to do more than speculate on because I am not an attorney by any stretch of the word there. It's an interesting constitutional question when you talk about the rights of a minor. Right? Like, they live in the country, they're born in the in the country. They live under the same constitution. But do parental guidelines, are they able to limit maybe the broad scope of constitutional rights, like for example, a kid can own a gun, like that one, so I know that one. So that one's easy. But like, when it gets to speech, how is that policed? And which is very dangerous. We just make child politicians to handle children. That's right. Yeah, yeah. Make some child politicians. For every position in U.S. government, there's a junior position and it's a child. It's a kid. Yeah. Have you. Funny as fuck. So I kind of need that for the comedy. That would be really funny. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know. Maybe some of my lawyer listeners and viewers out there can chime in in the comments about the constitutionality of being a minor and how that, how it could be constitutional with things like speech or access to things being limited because this sounds really positive to me. There's a line here that sounds very positive that I'm like pumped about. I just want to make sure it's not opening the door to bigger problems. Yeah, I'm going to get a conspiratorial for a second. Like, you know, when Faust was in here and we were talking about the AT&T bill in the 90s. Yeah. I just wonder if like, and for people who don't remember, don't know, it was like the pretty much monopolized phone use and sort of the internet as it was just kind of taking off. Does that sound about right? Am I kind of blowing that? Okay. But I just, like, something like this, I wonder if we'll come back to in like five years from now or even like in a couple of years from now and being like, dude, fucking remember this. And they said it was for the fucking kids and it was to help them and protect them. And now, you know, I like to tweet about this and I'm in trouble just for liking a tweet. I don't know. That's why, and I hope this isn't the case, but I hope we are not rolling the tape of us talking about this on August 28th, 2026 in five years where they're like, damn, those motherfuckers knew because that means it was a bad outcome. Yeah. Like, I hope we're rolling it back and going, good on us to make sure, but it all worked out. Yeah, because it's like as we get ready for like a three front war and we all, it's like, Oh, look at they're taking all the preliminary actions to really silence dissemination when the time comes. That's right. I don't know. Surveillance state. Yeah, I don't know. You can even try the transition there, but you got the transition. That's it. That's it. Because I'm, because I'm tired. You get hurt. You thought we were going to forget about you, fam? Come on. Come on. Come on, kid. Come on. I would never forget about you, Garrett Langley. Now, I do want to say this to the people who were doxing this guy online, I'm never going to condone that. Okay, hear me out here. That's you're given someone like Garrett Langley, the CEO of flock exactly what he wants. You're given him chaos in the masses where now the dox in his address and stuff like that and putting it out there and potentially causing bigger problems there. And I never want to do that. It is very easy to beat a weak, effeminate, power hungry, wasn't bullied enough, clearly, a guy behind a keyboard who's taken advantage of all of us right now is way easier to beat a guy like this on the facts. And that's where
where we gotta keep it. Now that said, since the doxing has already happened, again, don't condone it, I do hope. I do hope and I don't have high hopes for this, but I have hope. I hope that this can be a learning moment for Garrett to see who I used to call Craig or Greg 'cause I thought that was his name, but it's Garrett. - Yeah, I actually call him. - I hope that this can be a learning moment for him to see what it feels like to have the shoe on the other foot. And to see what it's like when your privacy is invaded without your consent. And to see what it's like when, you know, to quote Garrett, "Americans gotta compromise a little bit on this privacy and safety thing," which he said completely on ironically, even though it's one of the most ironic quotes ever said, or I should say in recent memory, it's been said given the history of our country and guys like Ben Franklin, who quite literally warned about people, like Garrett Langley and what they're trying to do. But I hope Garrett, who probably will never appear on this show, even though we've talked about that publicly now a few times, I hope you will use this as a learning moment to see what it feels like, you know? Kind of like, remember that old show under cover, CEO, where the CEO would go undercover and have to see what it's like in the rank and file? And they'd be like, "God damn, fam, I didn't know I was doing this, he's my focus." Right, and then they'd be like, "Wow, all right, I'm gonna think about this differently." This is your undercover CEO moment, you know? And again, I don't wanna see people ever, ever dox anyone, no matter how badly you dislike them and everything, you know? We've taken precautions on that in the past, like even when we talked about Howard Lutnik, obviously his place is full blown public knowledge where he lives and all that, but we were even careful with that as much as we don't like him, you know, we shouldn't do this. But I do wanna run that, you see where it says Rand Paul, right there? - Mm-hmm. - So let's click that tweet, because this week, Garrett Langley went viral again for some softball fucking interview on Fox News, 'cause that's where he's going, he's going to friendly places where he's gotta answer a few fucking probably pre-prepare questions for five minutes that he somehow still manages to fucking strike out on. And, you know, try to do a little PR press here, with all, whatever little might he has. But let's play this clip first, and then I'll get to the context of the tweet right here. Can we make a full screen, David? - Yeah. - Thank you. All right, so this was on Fox News. - I value my privacy. He values privacy, my employees value their privacy, but what we're talking about is safety as well. And so I think when people talk about just one of these, privacy or safety, they're prioritizing the wrong thing, or we have to prioritize as a country, as a compromise, how do we have our safety, and how do we balance privacy? And so when I think about legislation, we can call it an outpatient. - We can call it an outpatient. That's like banning vehicles, that that would never have made sense. Instead, what we did is we introduced laws against trunk driving. We introduced laws around seat belts, laws around airbags. - Those weren't invading your privacy. Garrett Langley, those were simple, like, rules of the road. You know, like you drive drunk, you get arrested. Pretty simple. You know what I mean? You can't operate a vehicle well at that. At a black alcohol level like that. You know, you don't wear a seatbelt. You get ejected from a car even during a routine collision, and you die. It is there for your own safety, without invading your fucking privacy. Now let's go to the tweet you had, Joey Deef. So this video went very viral. And Rand Paul, Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky, among many other people had something to say about. They said, "Flock CEO @gLangley "wants you to quote, compromise, unquote, "away your Fourth Amendment rights. "Our founding fathers are rolling in their graves "at this suggestion." And this unself-aware moron, Garrett Langley, actually slid in on the replies here and said, "Senator, "that was not my comment. "We believe in the constitution at flock. "I hope you can agree that Americans deserve to be safe." - Oh, I hate that. There's literally a video of him saying that bar for bar, word for word, that was quite literally your comment, Garrett. You are that stupid that you come in and respond and try to try to, 'cause it didn't have, look at the ratio here, Joey Deef. - Scroll down. - It had no effect on people, like in the way you intended it, Garrett, like you try to get people to actually believe that what they saw and what they heard was not what they saw, what they heard, which they can press play on above there in full 32-second context to see that that's exactly what you said. And then he follows it up with a line that says, "I hope you can agree that Americans can deserve "to be safe to get exactly back to the talking point "he had at the beginning, which was to compromise. "Privacy for safety." I just can't believe how fucking retarded this guy is. Like, listen, I knew he was a weak guy, but it's not even from a PR perspective. I think he genuinely, it's just not the brightest bolt. Like, go away. Don't talk. The best PR for you right now, Garrett, is to go the fuck away. It won't work. I mean, trust me, like guys like Ben Jordan are still gonna be coming after you. But like, that just blew my mind. And the way, you know, the fucking air pods in the ears, the weak voice, the effeminate delivery, asking questions at the end of a fucking statement. You know, who the fuck are you, pal? Who the fuck are you? You got anything, Joey Deef? No, I checked his Twitter to see how many followers or had that he had, but he has more than me. I was gonna, I was gonna shit on him. Not for long. Follow @TokeMalone. He doesn't have any fucking motion this guy. That's right, he's got no motion. Follow @TokeMalone, Joey Deef. Yeah, he helped me get more followers than Garrett. So I could start ratioing his ass. That's right. Joey Deef's got no chill on Twitter. He's a low-key, like very good, dark Twitter follow. Yeah. So I'm a good, I'm a good tweeter. He's a good, he's a good tweeter. But this has gotten so crazy, they even run the Santhus in Florida. It's like this is out of control. He came out this week. Almost like, yeah, if I, what are they? Over 10,000 can't flop cameras now in Florida. I had to tell Danny Jones about that the other day. He called me, before he came here, he called me 'cause he was listening to the podcast we did last week. He's like, wait, this shit's in Florida? Like Danny Jones, look around. And actually, shout out to Lessi Alamon. He's been on, he's like the original guy who's been with me forever, who handles the content on the second and third channels. I talk about him all the time. He has his own channel, Lessi Alamon, where he does a lot of cool documentaries. But he was on to this, 'cause he lives down in Florida now, and he put all this out publicly, where he went to the city council meeting in O'Cala, because in O'Cala, Florida, a lot of flat cameras were popping up, and there was this big argument over it, and laid out the facts beautifully to the council right there and was actually pulled aside by I think the sheriff afterwards, who was like trying to show the cameras and Lessi's like the sweetest guy ever, but he told the guy, I think it was the sheriff. It was that or the deputy sheriff. He told the guys, like, look, dude. If you can't see the irony of what you're saying here, you're here to uphold the law, which includes the Constitution of the United States. I'm glad that you're happy that you're catching some more bad guys with these cameras, but at what cost? Like, that's not the country we live in. And I had said it last week. I had some nice conversations with some different law enforcement guys over the past couple weeks who have reached out, and that's the one thing that's like a little frustrating. I don't think any, the people I've talked to haven't talked to me in bad faith about it, which I appreciate, right? It hasn't been like nasty, like fuck you. You have no idea what you're talking about. I appreciate that 'cause I'll give it right back to you if you fucking talk to me like that about this, but especially from a position of power like that in law enforcement. The guys I've talked to have been all cool, but they haven't, for the most part, in my conversations, seen the irony, and the wrong kind of irony in their claims. And I really am trying to lay it out for them because I want them to be able to do their jobs well, just not at the cost of our constitutional rights. That's how this country's supposed to work. So Ben Jordan, who does amazing work on this stuff, and we've been trying to get a podcast together with him. He's a really on the ground, busy guy. He made a great documentary with my friend, Tommy G, on this whole thing, the really blue, the whole thing open. You know, Ben's been talking about this a while, and then, you know, Tommy looked at the work, almost like this guy's amazing, and then brought him in on the documentary, and the rest was history right there. But Ben, I think I put that video there, D, right? The investor meeting one. - Let's see here. - Ben decided that he would attend a flock investor meeting. 'Cause, you know, if it's publicly available for you to be able to do that, you should be able to do that, especially on your own dime. So we'll play this video real quick. He, let's just say that Ben was disinvited from this event after paying for the hotel and travel out of the goodness of his heart. He just wanted to hear what they had to say, and flocked in like that too much. You know, they're very private about these meetings, and who can get there, which is quite ironic. But Ben did not let,
- His travels go to waste in any way. Let's cue this real quick, this was awesome. - I was excited to go to Flock's Big Police Convention. Flock forward. I bought a $350 ticket and booked a hotel room at the Hilton in Atlanta. But then Flock said, no journalists allowed. Which is really kind of weird. Considering that your tax dollars are usually paying for the tickets your public servants buy, then a Flock employee contacted the hotel on my behalf and canceled my room without notifying me. So I couldn't even be in the building. - Oh, I see the email from a Shannon Jones. - Shannon Jones, shout out Shannon. - Flock could keep our bodies out of the convention, but they couldn't block our electromagnetic frequencies. We captured packets from every single Wi-Fi channel we could find using dozens of Wi-Fi adapters and monitors. Then we used a 2.4 gigahertz parabolic dish antenna to passively capture the Bluetooth information of just about everyone-- - Perfectly legal. - Then we used a log periodic dipole array and multiple SDRs to demodulate the wireless microphones used in their stage and camera production. - Yes. - Billy Goose's even forgot to turn the microphones off when they weren't presenting or recording. So we captured some of their mingling. Then I flew my drone with a zoom lens over the convention as if it had been pumped. - Cool. Looks like lots of police and politicians got tons of free swag. Do you recognize these attendees? If not, that's okay. We can just use facial recognition. Oh my God. - Oh, it isn't that Thai tables turn in. - Oh, this is a little Minnesota Senator Julian Ortman. This little drone flight allowed us to find out that Senator Ortman is a managing partner of public safety strategies group, which is led by Rich Stannick, the former sheriff of Hennepin County covering Minneapolis. And guess what? Flock pays them as consultants to find confidential leads to new police contracts around the country. This is just the tip of the iceberg. So thank you, Flock, for banning journalists from your dumbass convention. - Yes. - He had more fun out here and learned a whole lot more. Stay tuned. - Everyone go follow Ben Jordan on YouTube. If you're not already, his amazing work, amazing work on the Flock thing. And Tommy Jail, he'll tell you that even stronger 'cause he got to see it up close. But that is so fucking over the top and amazing. And again, when you can turn their own tools and their own ideologies against them and prove how much they don't like it, which Tommy J also did in the documentary they did. They didn't like when he was recording them. There's nothing you can't beat that argument. Once that happens, you cannot beat that. But what's even worse is that somehow the dark money, the dark money, dark, dark money, behind Flock, according to Joey Deef is a little deeper tied. Peter Teal, then we thought. So Joey Deef, I'm looking at your research right in front of me where you have all the series rounds and amounts that were raised throughout Flock's history, which goes, dates all the way back to 2017. But they just, in March 2025, before right when they were ramping up, all the cameras going across the country when the Trump administration came in, they had a series F for $275 million at evaluation of $7.5 billion. $7.5 billion, yep, valuation. This was led by Andrews and Horowitz, which, you know, everyone knows Mark Andrews at this point, he's all over the place. And Mark has never, as far as I could tell, been like partners with Peter Teal or anything like that. But they are long time friends and invest on a lot of things together. And Mark talks about how he constantly, I think he's talked before about how he constantly has like the voice of Peter Teal on his shoulder, which isn't weird at all, you know, to conduct out whatever he's thinking about and try to hash it out because Peter Teal's so smart, which actually never underestimate your enemy. Peter Teal's a very smart guy, it's very evil guy, but in my opinion, Prishbeck, but very, very smart guy. But when Joey Dief took a look at all the companies that were here, there were a few other ties. So among the companies, the lead backing of this $275 million raise were Green Oaks, Bedrock, Maritech, Matrix Partners, Sands Capital, Founders Fund, which is Peter Teal's company right there, so boom. Cliner Perkins, Tiger Global, and Y Combinator. And so Y Combinator, which also is in the middle of a second little controversy this week that I won't get into right now. Maybe we'll talk about that in a future episode. Y Combinator is run by Gary Tan, who was an early employee at Wear Joey Dief. - Palantir. - That's correct. So good friend, long time early employee of Peter Teal's CIA-backed Palantir, which was literally backed by the detail. And the founder of Bedrock, one of the other companies in there is also a long time Teal associate named Jeff Lewis. And it's like, I know it's a little club, and a lot of these guys know each other, and there's a lot of incestuous nature to it, but it's not helping the optics. When you continue to see some of the people running these companies, the people founded these companies, in fact, that Peter Teal himself is in these things, and in these companies, and they're pumping so much money into this guy, Garrett Langley, who had had a failed app in the past, and somehow got like a $200 million sellout in his second app, and I don't even know what the fuck it does, and then is suddenly like the golden boy of the federal government to be able to go get these flat cameras everywhere backed by all the Silicon Valley Titans. It's weird. - Yeah. - It's weird. He's not exactly charismatic, doesn't seem like a real fucking innovator when you look at it. You've got a camera company, you know? How innovative are we talking right here? So, Joey Devon, I'm seeing, there's some more research, we're gonna have to get to next week. - Oh yeah. - On some of the other companies as well, 'cause like I've said, I know like James Lee has talked about this as well, online, like there are other companies here that wanna see flock fall from the sky. So they wanna see this flock of birds fall from the sky, 'cause they're just gonna come right in and do the same thing, and act like they're the good guy. And I suspect they're not. But, you know, as a final note of Peter Teal this week, I don't know if you saw this, Joey Devon, seems to be roughly confirmed. Like, not all the way across the finish line, but pretty much confirm what was the suspicion, which is that he's gonna Teal may have. - I actually thought for a second, you were gonna say that like he's getting married or something, I'm not even allowed. - He already married, Joey. - Yeah, good for him. - Sure, it's a good thing. - For people, I wish, the thing I was gonna say is that Peter Teal probably has some money behind Clvicular, which-- - Oh yeah, I've been seeing that, yep. - So, deal with that what you will. - Someone who's making people hate themselves and doing all this weird shit to looks max and try to ruin a younger generation, clearly has some mental issues and stuff like that. Being funded by Peter Teal, that's not weird at all. But, I wish all of you could have been in the steakhouse with us (laughs) after we recorded with Lee Cronin. There'll be another Lee Cronin episode coming in in a couple of weeks at a good time with him, the British scientist and chemist, who was on my show back in episode 289, really enjoy Lee Fun Guy. But, I wish you could have been there at the table when Joey Deef had to explain to Lee Cronin why Peter Teal is so shiny. I put the reaction on my Instagram story that Lee had, basically his head was in his steak. I'm not gonna say it. Maybe in a future episode, Joey Deef will go there. You guys can try to guess, I'll give you a hint. It's not 'cause he's a reptile. - Yeah, it's not. - But, the delivery, I've heard this joke about, I don't know, 12 times before when Deef goes to deliver it. - Yeah. - And it is funny. It is hilarious every single time because I know I'm gonna get some crazy reaction from whoever you're in. - It's a real, it's a real misdirect. - It's a real misdirect. It hits you out of nowhere, Paul. And I just wish you guys could have been there for that. But, that all said, we gotta hit the road, Joey Deef. We gotta get the fuck out of here. Danny Jones, come back over. He'll a road trip for the day, but everybody else, thank you as always for subscribing and liking these videos. The likes are a big, big help on YouTube now. And thank you for sharing it with your friends. I appreciate all of you who do that. That said, give it a thought, get back to me. Peace.
Podcast Summary
Key Points:
The podcast investigates allegations of systemic cover-ups surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, including claims that the FBI failed to act on reports as early as 1996 despite multiple high-profile tips, such as from Hugh Hefner and a Playboy playmate.
Emails from the Epstein files reveal connections between Sarah Ferguson (ex-wife of Prince Andrew) and Jeffrey Epstein, showing financial assistance and continued contact after Epstein’s 2008 conviction, raising concerns about ties between elite figures and Epstein’s network.
A 2025 email shows Sarah Ferguson attempting to provide contact information for British socialite Victoria Harvey to U.S. Embassy diplomat Cash Patel, an act seen as bizarre given the public scandal around Epstein and the lack of plausible reason for such outreach.
The episode highlights a covert CIA operation targeting fishing boats near the Galapagos Islands, allegedly involving kamikaze drones and resulting in the disappearance of eight Ecuadorian crew members, with survivors claiming they were captured and transported to El Salvador.
The podcast questions the optics and accountability of U.S. intelligence and government actions, particularly regarding CIA director John Ratcliffe’s secret visit to Russia to meet with Russian intelligence, which appears to contradict the ongoing war in Ukraine and signals a potential shift in strategy.
A major critique is raised about the suppression of major investigations into Epstein-related corruption, with claims that CBS and other outlets have blocked or delayed reporting despite having access to material evidence.
The discussion draws parallels between the behavior of powerful institutions—such as the FBI, CIA, and elite financial circles—and a pattern of protecting the powerful while ignoring abuse and misconduct.
The episode concludes with a strong call for transparency, suggesting that deeper systemic failures—especially in intelligence, law enforcement, and elite circles—must be exposed to prevent further harm and institutional cover-ups.
Summary:
FAQs
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner reportedly called the FBI in 2005 after a playmate accused Epstein of sexual abuse. The FBI did not act on these reports, and victims allege the agency failed to investigate for over two decades, even after multiple complaints. A 2025 lawsuit by Epstein victims claims the FBI ignored information from as early as 1996.
Unsealed emails show Sarah Ferguson, former wife of Prince Andrew, maintained contact with Epstein after his 2008 conviction. She received financial advice and debt assistance from him, and in 2025, she reached out to FBI Director Cash Patel to share contact information for British socialite Victoria Harvey, raising concerns about ties between elite figures and Epstein.
The email shows Sarah Ferguson contacted the U.S. Embassy in London to provide Victoria Harvey's contact info to FBI Director Cash Patel. Given Harvey’s public profile and the timing, the FBI’s response — asking to ignore the email — appears odd, suggesting possible political or diplomatic sensitivity.
The film, which features a mysterious ritual involving blindfolds and a masked party, has been interpreted as a subtle critique of elite secrecy and hidden power structures. Its connection to Epstein and other figures is seen by some as a symbolic commentary on the 'cult-like' environments within powerful circles.
The visit, which included talks with Russia’s FSB (CIA equivalent), occurred amid ongoing Ukraine war tensions. While the U.S. government did not confirm direct meetings with Putin, the visit raises concerns about de-escalation efforts and signals a potential shift in intelligence cooperation, despite the broader war context.
Survivors of drone attacks on Ecuadorian fishing vessels reported being taken aboard ships, cuffed, and transported to El Salvador. A high-end business jet with surveillance technology was tracked flying toward the vessels, and the attacks are believed to be part of a secret CIA program, possibly linked to drug interdiction operations.
