So the reports also said that Wyden was interviewed about his investigation in March by then 60 minutes correspondent Sharon Alfonzi. For a segment, the news program was reporting about Wall Street banks in the US Virgin Island government's relationship with Epstein. Now, if you remember Jeffrey Epstein was in there at the Washington Post actually did some great work on this. Yeah. After the fact going back and reviewing the tape, he was in there literally fucking live texting Stacey Plaskett, who I believe represents the US Virgin Islands. Yeah. As a representative. While she was in a hearing. Yeah, that's opposing. I think Michael Cohen at the time back in like 2019. This is before he was arrested. And they have her live reacting to the text he was sending in real time that we got access to later and were able to line it up. That he was like feeding her questions as to what to ask, which is fucking crazy. So anyway, back to this tweet. The Virgin Island government's relationship with Epstein two months later CBS fired Alfonzi, the reporter who was working on this after she publicly criticized CBS news leadership and editor-in-chief Barry Weiss' editorial decisions involving a different segment she reported. Neither the Whiten interview referring to Senator Ron Whiten nor the broader Epstein's story has aired. Now we can go back to what Sawger said about this. Right here. And March 2025, a year before the details of her communications with Epstein became public, Ferguson contacted a senior diplomat at the United States Embassy in London, the email show. She was reaching out to share the contact information of a British socialite with with incoming FBI director Cash Betel. The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson reached out and wanted to provide contact information for Victoria Harvey. The Duchess was under the impression you requested the contact information wrote David Walker, the FBI's legal attaché in March 2025 email to Patel. Victoria Harvey can be reached at blank. The idea that a member or a past member who's still actively around and the mother of children of people in the royal family would be reaching out to an emissary of this guy seemingly voluntarily to try to provide this information when they're in the middle of a very bad optic scandal at the time. Again, if you weren't in the files, you weren't important. According to her, you know, it was like a bit. I mean, Kurt Metzger made it. Kurt Metzger was in the files. He's important. Well, like, even the way they put it here, it's like the British socialite who makes an appearance in the Epstein. It's like a guest spot on a team show. It was very contentious. And the cut that they released happened to just be the cut that the studio preferred, which was, yeah. Which still shows a lot. So the cons, if you have not seen the film, I highly recommend it. It's still, even though Kubrick died and then they released it later and it was their cut and not his, it's still an excellent. Oh, yeah, excellent film. And Stanley Kubrick is one of the goats. Stanley Kubrick, by the way, check the fuck out of Hollywood in the early '60s, went to the UK and because he was like, I'm out on this, this is not. Wherever was going on there, he was like, yeah. He's not interested in this life. I want to make films, you know? So he makes, you know, this is the guy who obviously did Space Odyssey, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, like one of the legends of the game. So made Lolita. It made Lolita. Interesting name right there. Well, do you know the book Lolita? Uh-huh. Yeah. Again. That's what I'm saying. Like, it's a lot of these ties where I'm like, he was, he was keyed into what was going on. 'Cause that is, that's, that was a favorite of Epstein. Epstein's, a lot of these guys. I feel like we've-- I feel like we've-- The Lolita Express. Uh-huh. Yeah. Ugh. They don't even hide it. I know. I know. Eyes wide shut comes out in 1999. A lot of it was filmed in 1997, I built '96, '97. It was all filmed in the UK, but it takes place in New York. And some spoiler alerts here. If you haven't seen it, highly recommend it. But, you know, for the rest of you, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, at the time they were a real life couple, they're the stars of this thing. And it, long story short, devolves into, they have this kind of weird marriage and they have one daughter together, but he's a doctor and takes care of some wealthy people. And they go to a party at the beginning, this is a normal party, as far as I can tell. But the guy who is running the party is a high New York socialite that is one of his Tom Cruise's patients. And then the pianist at that party, who was hired, happened to be someone who used to be a medical school with Tom Cruise's character. So they get to talking later and the pianist talks about how he gets this other job, where he has to wear a blindfold and they take him out to an address that they don't tell them about until an hour before. And Tom Cruise gets really curious and the guy says, look, if you're going to come, the password is Fidelio and you need to wear a cloak and a mask. Tom Cruise goes, it gets a cloak and a mask and there's all kinds of, like the Easter eggs that Stanley Kubrick puts in his movies are always insane. The Easter eggs in this film, we will never know all of them. There are that many. So there's a lot of different weird symbols that happen along the way that are being skipped in my little synopsis right here. But long story short, Tom Cruise shows up to this party. It's Adam Manchin, secluded Manchin, which is supposed to be in like either Westchester County. I think it's Westchester. Yeah. Or, you know, one of the enclave places, but it was filmed like I said, everything was filmed in the UK. So of all the places, Stanley Kubrick filmed it at a rough child family mansion. Not an interesting choice right there, but he gets there and it's this satanic ritual with all these people in mass where, you know, it's this satanic sex ritual and he's eventually discovered to be an intruder and they kick him out and then they scare the shit out of him and that's kind of the movie right there. But one of the things at the end that stayed in the cut, that sinister and it's been debated and I've seen different videos. I want to say Moon might have made a video on this where he talked about this. It was one of them, one, a bigger YouTube creator did because there's a bunch of cool videos trying to break down eyes wide shut. But one of the guys, I hope it was Moon if it wasn't. I'm sorry if I'm given the wrong value right there. But in the final scene, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman take their little daughter, Christmas shopping. And there's all kinds of symbolism in the stuffed animals and stuff that are around that they're walking through. But they're talking about this whole odyssey that just happened to Tom Cruise and trying to make sense of all of it and get their life back together. And they are, they have their eyes completely on their daughter and she's kind of guiding them through the store. And then they come up to this one aisle and they kind of stop and they watch their daughter walk through them and they watch her walk and slowly turn back towards them with like almost a little wave. And as they watch that, they turn towards each other and they never look her way again and she's gone. And as she's leaving, there are two men right there that are right in front of her that she's leaving with allegedly. And those are some of the other, these two, there's a constant theme of two men throughout the film. Two men came and beat the shit out of one guy for talking. Two men were sitting at the table right there at the initial party that Tom Cruise went to when he was introducing his wife to his client who was the guy at the middle of this that I talked about at the beginning. There's this constant two men thing. And so there may have been a little wink and a nod, dark wink and a nod right there from Stanley Kubrick, Pierce Back, where he's saying that to preserve their lives, Tom Cruise and the Col Kimman's characters after the shit that Tom Cruise pulled, they had to give their daughter up into the cult, which is like the darkest fucking thing ever. But it's so subtle that if that is the case and that is what Kubrick was trying to get at, the studio executives who had the final edit on this film didn't even catch it and it stayed in there. Yeah, it's a it's a hell of a picture. I wonder if the if his cut even exists still. I wonder the wonder if he had a dead man switch as we love saying, but I wonder if he actually did. I'd love to know, but he, you know, listen, he was older. You know, he was like 71, maybe 72, something like that. He died of a heart attack. It's possible. It's possible that I have to say that it was natural and whatever, maybe he was very stressed out over fighting over the over the final cut, but it's very notable that it was within days of the studio seeing his initial cut and it is a known fact that there was a strong disagreement after that cut was viewed. So I don't know. I think about that one a lot. I think it's it's one of those films that when it came out, wasn't fully appreciated and as the years go on and also the weird stories in real life get weirder and weirder. It ages like, unfortunately, I'll say it ages like the finest wine ever for all the wrong reasons. I'm glad he did it and said like, Hey, there's some sort of subculture here. That's really bad because there's no, Joey, if I'm a firm believer in this, there's no system. There's no group that is all one way, but there are groups that happen to exist that we well know now in any elite circles, whether you look at business, entertainment, you name it, finance, all of politics. There are circles that exist of really, really, really rotten apples. And the one thing that they can do for sure outside all the shit they do is they can at least create an environment to where the people who are not rotten apples. If they know anything about it, don't fucking talk because it is it is above their pay grade. It's above their pay grade and Stanley Kubrick was a guy when you look at his career who kind of didn't give a fuck. Yeah. I mean, you should go back and watch 2001 and think about AI and technocracy because that's another one where I'm just like this fucking guy, dude. He was so fucking. He was on it. He was. He's one of those guys I'll look at obviously who's an amazing artist, but you just look at the stories he told and how they aged. There was something in his brain, obviously some of its personal experience, but then like you talk about it with a space odyssey, and like the ability to. - Fine tune yourself into a dystopian future, but be able to see it. So this is from Barry Weiss, his CBS news, CIA director John Ratcliffe met Russian intel counterparts on a secretive visit to Moscow. Peskov told reporters Putin was briefed on the talks, but he said it was too soon to predict whether U.S. intelligence officials meeting might help get bilateral U.S. Russian relations out of what's what he called, quote, "a deep crisis," unquote, more than four and a half years into Russia's war on Ukraine. It wasn't immediately clear if Ratcliffe had left Moscow on Wednesday, after his first known trip to Russia as CIA director, he has maintained contact with Russian intelligence counterparts during his tenure. According to CBS News sources, ahead of his trip, the U.S. told Ukrainian officials that the senior delegation would be traveling to Moscow and ask Kiev to suspend strikes until the delegation's departure from Russia. And Donald Trump did come out and say yesterday with full assurance that he's not going to attack NATO, Putin's not gonna do that. It seemed very short, so deal with that what you want. - We'll see you done. - But with the last time a CIA director had traveled to Moscow, was William Burns in 2021 ahead of the war, when he was reaching a crisis point, they were trying to like allegedly, unless it's all show and tell, which that's probably what it is, trying to de-escalate the situation. So this has not happened, but it's notable that there's such a calm seemingly regular little meeting of like the top intelligence officials in the middle of a war that they're on the opposite sides of. No agency or government has claimed responsibility for the incidents, including the disappearance and January of a fishing vessel and eight of its crew members. victims in a class action lawsuit so the landmark settlement over media social media addiction claims so we've seen how social media has affected everyone down to your boomer grandparents and everything but we have particularly seen how the youngest generations who grew up with a lot of it which includes our generation everything and now the kids all coming up have been affected by what they see on the screens and some of the things that they shouldn't have to be exposed to and then also get addicted to the dopamine loops that are part of the business product yep on these platforms where the product is us it's people and so with kids they are extremely malleable and you know it was finally it's been brought up many times before there's been cases over stuff like this but there was a massive lawsuit that has had some success and you know 17.1 billion dollars meta is gonna survive that that's not it's not putting an enormous den in them but the precedent of what it could set here as we were saying at the beginning of the episode with new rules is interesting because I've always cited this in different contexts on the podcasts over the years since the beginning of the show, the earliest episodes. And instead of titty videos, they were getting fucking math videos and science videos and nature videos and things that could actually stimulate learning and things that are positive for them to, you know, get interested in the kind of stuff that's going to be useful in society instead of starting to fucking only fans page 10 years later or something like that or subscribing to why I guess. But like, now, there might be some new rules. So let's, let's go down here. This was in 47 states, a settlement, meta on Wednesday reached a landmark settlement with 47 states, the district of Columbia and U.S. territories agreeing to pay up to 70.1 billion dollars in penalties and make major changes to its products over claims that endangered children with addictive social media platforms. In a dramatic capitulation, the owner of Facebook and Instagram agreed to the financial penalties for violating federal child privacy and state's consumer protection laws that states announced. And I also agreed to limit how long teenagers can spend on its platform and to ban features that stoke mental health issues striking at the heart of the company's business of engagement for advertising. One quick question I'm going to have here to monitor moving forward though is where the line is drawn on mental health issues stuff. I'm all for that. But can that then be used as a tool to propaganda as kids in the future by saying, oh, this could be mental health. So you can't see this. And it's something that maybe they need to see, right? Like I don't know again, I'd like the sound of that. But you have to play out like where this could be misused now. The focus of this case was to protect our kids, stopping notifications and alerts at night and when they are in school encouraging them to take breaks from social media, protecting them against harmful features that Colorado's attorney general Phil Weiser in a statement. The agreement exceeded what most courts might order he added. The settlement effectively ends a bell weather federal trial in the US Northern District of California and Oakland where California, Colorado, Kentucky and New Jersey were seeking roughly 200 billion over accusations that metaharm children. The states filed their agreement with meta on Wednesday morning in that court where judge Avon Gonzalez Rogers is expected to approve it separately met a set on Wednesday that it settled with Texas for almost one billion over similar allegations. The company still faces numerous other lawsuits. So the stock price went down, I want to get down to some of the, all right, so the settlement could signal an inflection point, yada, yada, yada. And a call with reporters on Wednesday, Metta's legal team said the company negotiated the terms of its settlement to require the other companies to join setting industry standards that would not single out meta. Metta wants to ensure teens have a safe and productive experience on our platforms and a partner with state attorney's generals, but I love how they say that. He entered with state attorney's generals to set a new industry standard, partnered for a cost of 18 billion. He implored other companies to settle. This framework will only work if all our peers join us because teens move fluidly across dozens of apps. We need an industry wide solution. So I want to go down some more to get to some of the actual actionable items that they could have here. Keep going. The settlement will effectively force Metta to make major product changes for all US team users. The company agreed to interrupt endless scrolling and to impose a two hour daily time limit on Instagram and Facebook. To avoid addictive use and sleep interruptions, the company will limit usage between midnight and 6 a.m. And silence notifications during school hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. I'm assuming this is all time zone sensitive as well. Metta will also limit features that psychologists linked to negative social comparisons such as beauty filters, good, and a tallying of the like button clicks. It will also strengthen age verification tools and parental controls. Many of the changes are similar to ones that Metta has made in the last year. The company has for years committed to enforcing age requirements and creating technology that figures out if teenagers are lying about their age. But as part of the settlement, Metta said it would invest more in that effort. The changes are significant, but not totally revolutionary, said Violet, Jorra Lehman, the director of life sciences law and policy center at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology, adding that some of the restrictions already exist in Europe. I do think that using these platforms as a minor will start to look pretty different than it did five years ago. Mr. Jorra Lehman added, there are going to be a lot more restrictions. So again, I'm going to stick by what I said, I like the idea of this. You just don't want to see it translate into other things because like as an example, this is really going down the separate slope, the EU, they just mentioned they already have rules like this in the EU. There's all kinds of free speech issues with what goes on for adult users over there. Big time. Like I know like even Elon Musk was fighting with them over things on Twitter and like there's a lot of things obviously they're controversial about Elon Musk and things to criticize. As well, but I do appreciate the fact that like X Twitter, whatever you call it, is way more wide open than it used to be. And I have to give credit to the fact that that has also happened and dragged over to platforms like Instagram and Facebook, things that would have gotten you banned over there. Now our common parlance on those apps and some of it is very ugly. That's how it works though. That's how free speech has to work. You have to see the great and the bad and you got to let the great win over time. It's just how it is. So this is going to be interesting to track. Obviously Meadow was financially in lawsuit incentivized to really take action. It does seem like there was a little PR put in that article of like, well, they were already taking a lot of actions to try to get out of this. Yeah. We were working on this actually. And like New York Times didn't seem to really fight that one and push back on that. But you know, neither here nor there. Maybe there's a little conversation that happens behind the scene on the PR front there. But it's just, it's an interesting development that should be good for our kids. But does not need to be a Pandora's box opening the door to a lot of other things that can happen, including two adults on these apps. I'm just always going to look at free speech first and be like, as long as that's still protective, but it's an interesting constitutional question that I am not qualified to do more than speculate on because I am not an attorney by any stretch of the word there. It's an interesting constitutional question when you talk about the rights of a minor, right? Like they live in the country. They're born in the in the country. They live under the same constitution, but do parental guidelines? Are they able to limit maybe the broad scope of constitutional rights? Like for example, a kid can't own a gun like that one. So I know that one. So that one's easy. But like when it gets to speech, how is that police? And which is very dangerous. We just make child politicians to handle children. That's right. Some child politicians. For every position in US government, there's a junior position and it's a child. It's a kid. Yeah. That would be funny as fuck. I kind of need that for the comedy. That would be really funny. Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know. Maybe some of my lawyer listeners and viewers out there can chime in in the comments about the constitutionality of being a minor and how it could be constitutional with things like speech or access to things being limited. Because this sounds really positive to me. Like there's a lot here that sounds very positive that I'm like pumped about. I just want to make sure it's not opening the door to bigger problems. Yeah. I'm going to get a conspiratorial for a second. Like, you know, when Faust was in here and we were talking about the AT&T bill in the 90s. Yeah. I just wonder if like, and for people who don't remember, don't know, it was like the pretty much monopolized phone use and sort of the internet as it was just kind of taking off. Does that sound about right? Am I kind of blowering that? Yeah. Okay. But I just, like something like this, I wonder if we'll come back to in like five years from now or even like in a couple of years from now and being like, dude, fucking remember this? And they said it was for the fucking kids and it was to help them and protect them. And now, you know, I like to tweet about this and I'm in trouble just for liking a tweet. I don't know. That's why, and I hope this isn't the case. Yeah. Now I do wanna say this to the people who were doxing this guy online. I'm never gonna condone that. Okay, hear me out here. That's, you're given someone like Garrett Langley, the CEO of flock exactly what he wants. You're given him chaos in the masses. We're now the dox in his address and stuff like that and putting it out there and potentially causing bigger problems there. And I never wanna do that. It is very easy to beat a weak, effeminate power hungry, wasn't bullied enough clearly. The guy behind a keyboard who's taken advantage of all of us right now is way easier to beat a guy like this on the facts. And that's where we gotta keep it. Now that's said, since the doxing has already happened, again, don't condone it, I do hope. I do hope. And I don't have high hopes for this, but I have hope. I hope that this can be a learning moment for Garrett to see who I used to call Craig or Greg 'cause I thought that was his name. But it's Garrett. I actually call him. I hope that this can be a learning moment for him to see what it feels like to have the shoe on the other foot. And to see what it's like when your privacy is invaded without your consent. And to see what it's like when, you know, to quote Garrett, "Americans gotta compromise a little bit on this privacy and safety thing," which he said completely on ironically, even though it's one of the most ironic quotes that I've ever said, or I should say in recent memory, that's been said given the history of our country and guys like Ben Franklin who quite literally warned about people like Garrett Langley and what they're trying to do. But I hope Garrett, who probably will never appear on this show even though we've talked about that publicly now a few times, I hope you will use this as a learning moment to see what it feels like, you know? Kind of like, remember that old show undercover CEO where the CEO would go undercover and have to see what it's like in the rank and file and they'd be like, "God damn, fam, I didn't know I was doing "and this seems my focus," right? And then they'd be like, "Wow, all right, "I'm gonna think about this differently." This is your undercover CEO moment, you know? And again, I don't wanna see people ever dox anyone, no matter how badly you dislike them and everything. You know, we've taken precautions on that in the past, like even when we talked about Howard Lutnik, obviously his place is full blown public knowledge where he lives and all that, but we were even careful with that as much as we don't like him, you know, we shouldn't do this. But I do wanna run that, see where it says, Rand Paul right there? - Mm-hmm. - So let's click that tweet because this week, Garrett Langley went viral again for some softball fucking interview on Fox News 'cause that's where he's going, he's going to friendly places where he's gotta answer a few fucking probably pre-prepare questions for five minutes that he somehow still manages to fucking strike out on. And, you know, try to do a little PR press here with all whatever little might he has. But let's play this clip first, and then I'll get to the context of the tweet right here. Can we make a full screen, Dee? - Yeah. - Thank you. All right, so this was on Fox News. - I value my privacy. - He values privacy, my employees value their privacy. But what we're talking about is safety as well. And so I think when people talk about just one of these privacy or safety, they're prioritizing the wrong thing or what we have to prioritize as a country is compromise. How do we have our safety and how do we balance privacy? And so when I think about legislation, - We can call it an outpace. - We can call it an outpace. That's like banning vehicles that that would never have made sense. Instead, what we did is we introduced laws against trunk driving. We introduced laws around sea belts, laws around airbags. - Those weren't invading your privacy. Garrett Langley, those were simple like rules of the road. Like you drive drunk, you get arrested. It's pretty simple. You know what I mean? You can't operate a vehicle well at that. At a blind alcohol level like that. You know, you don't wear a seatbelt. You get ejected from a car even during a routine collision and you die. It is there for your own safety without invading your fucking privacy. Now let's go the tweet you had, Joey Deef. So this video went very viral. And Rand Paul, Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky, among many other people, had something to say about. He said, "Flock CEO at G Langley "wants you to quote, compromise, unquote, "away your Fourth Amendment rights. "Our founding fathers are rolling "in their graves at this suggestion." And this unself-aware moron, Garrett Langley, actually slid in on the replies here and said, "Senator, that was not my comment. "We believe in the Constitutionate flock. "I hope you can agree that Americans deserve to be safe." There's literally a video of him saying that, "Bar for bar, word for word." That was quite literally your comment, Garrett. You are that stupid that you come in and respond and try to try to, 'cause it didn't have. Look at the ratio here, Joey Deef. It had no effect on people in the way you intended it, Garrett. You try to get people to actually believe that what they saw and what they heard was not what they saw and what they heard, which they can press play on above there in full 32-second context to see that that's exactly what you said. And then he follows it up with a line that says, "I hope you can agree that Americans can deserve "to be safe to get exactly back to the talking point "he had at the beginning, which was to compromise. "Privacy for safety." I just can't believe how fucking retarded this guy is. Like, listen, I knew he was a weak guy, but it's not even from a PR perspective. I think he genuinely is just not the brightest bulb. Like, go away. Don't talk. The best PR for you right now, Garrett, is to go the fuck away. It won't work. I mean, trust me, like guys like Ben Jordan are still gonna be coming after you. But like. That just blew my mind. And the way, you know, the fucking air pods in the ears, the weak voice, the effeminate delivery, asking questions at the end of a fucking statement. You know, who the fuck are you, pal? Who the fuck are you? You got anything, Joey Deef? No, I checked his Twitter to see how many followers there had that he had, but he has more than me. I was gonna, I was gonna shit on. Not for long. Follow @tokamalone. He doesn't have any fucking motion this guy. That's right, he's got no motion. Follow @tokamalone, Joey Deef. Yeah, he helped me get more followers than Garrett. So I could start ratioing his ass. That's right. Joey Deef's got no chill on Twitter. He's a low-key, like, very good, dark Twitter follow. Yeah, so. I'm a good, I'm a good tweeter. He's a good, he's a good tweeter. But this has gotten so crazy, they even run the Santhus in Florida. It's like, this is out of control. He came out this week and was like, yo, what are there, over 10,000 Flockhammers now? In Florida, I had to tell Danny Jones about that the other day. He called me, before he came here, he called me, 'cause he was listening to the podcast, we did last week. He's like, wait, this shit's in Florida? Yeah. I'm like, Danny Jones, look around. And actually, shout out to Lesi Alamon. He's been on, he's like the original guy who's been with me forever, who handles the content on the second and third channels. I talk about him all the time. He has his own channel, Lesi Alamon, where he does a lot of cool documentaries. But he was on to this, 'cause he lives down in Florida now, and he put all this out publicly, where he went to the city council meeting in Ocala, because in Ocala, Florida, a lot of Flockhammers were popping up, and there was this big argument over it and laid out the facts beautifully to the council right there and was actually pulled aside by, I think, the sheriff afterwards. He was like, trying to show the cameras and Lesi's like the sweetest guy ever, but he told the guy. I think it was the sheriff. It was that or the deputy sheriff. He told the guys, like, look, dude, if you can't see the irony of what you're saying here, you know, you're here to uphold the law, which includes the Constitution of the United States. I'm glad that, like, you're happy that you're catching some more bad guys with these cameras, but at what cost? Like, that's not the country we live in. And I had said it last week. I had some nice conversations with some different law enforcement guys over the past couple of weeks who have reached out, and that's the one thing that's like a little frustrating. I don't think any, the people I've talked to haven't talked to me in bad faith about it, which I appreciate. Right? It hasn't been, like, nasty. Like, fuck you, you have no idea what you're talking about. I appreciate that because I'll give it right back to you if you fucking talk to me like that about this. especially from a position of power like that in law enforcement. The guys I've talked to have been all cool, but they haven't for the most part in my conversations seen the irony and the wrong kind of irony in their claims. And I really am trying to lay it out for them because I want them to be able to do their jobs well, just not at the cost of our constitutional rights. That's how this country is supposed to work. So Ben Jordan, who does amazing work on this stuff and we've been trying to get a podcast together with him. He's a really on the ground busy guy. He made a great documentary with my friend Tommy G on this whole thing. The really blew the whole thing open. You know, Ben's been talking about this a while and then, you know, Tommy looked at the work, almost like this guy's amazing and then brought him in on the documentary and the rest was history right there. But Ben, I think I put that video there, D, right? The investor meeting one. Let's see here. Ben decided that he would attend a flock investor meeting because, you know, if you if it's publicly available for you to be able to do that, you should be able to do that, especially on your own dime. So we'll we'll play this video real quick. He let's just say that Ben was disinvited from this event after paying for the hotel and travel out of the goodness of his heart. He just wanted to hear what they had to say and flagged him like that too much. You know, they're very private about these meetings and who can get there, which is quite ironic. But Ben did not let his travels go to waste in any way. Let's let's cue this real quick. This was awesome. I was excited to go to Flock's Big Police Convention. Flock forward. I bought a $350 ticket and booked a hotel room at the Hilton in Atlanta. But then, Flock said, "No journalists allowed," which is really kind of weird, considering that your tax dollars are usually paying for the tickets your public servants buy. Then a Flock employee contacted the hotel on my behalf and canceled my room without notifying me. So I couldn't even be in the building. "Flock could keep our bodies out of the convention, but they couldn't block our electromagnetic frequencies. We captured packets from every single Wi-Fi channel we could find. Using dozens of Wi-Fi adapters in monitor, Ben, we used a 2.4 gigahertz parabolic dish antenna to passively capture the Bluetooth information of just about every one of them. Perfectly legal. Then we used a log periodic dipole array and multiple SDRs to demodulate the wireless microphones used in their stage and camera production. Yes. Really, Goose is even forgot to turn the microphones off when they weren't presenting or recording. So we captured some of their mingling. Then I flew my drone with a zoom lens over the convention as it turned out. Perfectly fun. Cool. Looks like lots of police and politicians got tons of free swag. Do you recognize these attendees? If not, that's okay. We can just use facial recognition. Oh my god. Oh, it isn't the Thai table's turn. This little drone flight allowed us to find out that Senator Ortman is a managing partner of public safety strategies group, which is led by Rich Stannick, the former sheriff of Hennepin County covering Minneapolis. And guess what? Flock pays them as consultants to find confidential leads to new police contracts around the country. This is just the tip of the iceberg. So thank you, Flock, for banning journalists from your dumbass convention. Yes. We had more fun out here and learned a whole lot more. Stay tuned. But what's even worse is that somehow the dark money, the dark money, dark, dark money, behind Flock, according to Joey Diff is a little deeper tied. Peter Teal, it is. Then we thought, so Joey Diff, I'm looking at your research right in front of me, where you have all the series rounds and amounts that were raised throughout Flock's history, which goes dates all the way back to 2017. But they just in March 2025, before right when they were ramping up, all the cameras going across the country when the Trump administration came in, they had a series F for $275 million at evaluation of 7.5 Billy. 7.5 Billy. Yep, evaluation. This was led by Andreessen Horowitz, which you know, everyone knows Mark Andreessen at this point, he's all over the place. And Mark has never, as far as I could tell, been like partners with Peter Teal or anything like that. But they are long time friends and invest on a lot of things together. And Mark talks about how he constantly, I think he's talked before about how he constantly has like the voice of Peter Teal on his shoulder, which isn't weird at all, you know, to conduct out whatever he's thinking about and try to hash it out because Peter Teal's so smart, which actually never underestimate your enemy. Peter Teal is a very smart guy. It's a very evil guy, but in my opinion, pretty much, but very, very smart guy. But when Joey Dief took a look at all the companies that were here, there were a few other ties. So among the companies, the lead backing of this $275 million raise were Green Oaks, Bedrock, Maritech, Matrix Partners, Sands Capital, Founders Fund, which is Peter Teal's company right there. So boom, Cliner Perkins, Tiger Global, and Why Combinator. And so Why Combinator, which also is in the middle of a second little controversy this week that I won't get into right now. Maybe we'll talk about that in a future episode. Why Combinator is run by Gary Tan, who was an early employee at Where Joey Dief? Palantir. That's correct. So good friend, long time early employee of Peter Teal's CIA backed Palantir, which was literally backed by the detail. And the founder of Bedrock, one of the other companies in there, is also a long time, Teal associate named Jeff Lewis. And it's like, I know it's a little club, and a lot of these guys know each other, and there's a lot of incestuous nature to it. But it's not helping the optics when you continue to see some of the people running these companies. The people founded these companies. The fact that Peter Teal himself is in these things and in these companies. And they're pumping so much money into this guy, Garrett Langley, who had had a failed app in the past, then somehow got like a $200 million sellout in his second app. And I don't even know what the fuck it does. And then is suddenly like the golden boy of the federal government to be able to go get these flat cameras everywhere backed by all the Silicon Valley Titans. It's weird. It's weird. He's not exactly charismatic. Doesn't seem like a real fucking innovator when you look at it. He's got a camera company. You know how innovative we talking right here. So Joey Dief, I'm seeing there's some more research we're going to have to get to next week on some of the other companies as well. Because like I've said, I know like James Lee has talked about this as well online. Like there are other companies here that want to see flock fall from the skies. They want to see this flock of birds fall from the skies because they're just going to come right in and do the same thing and act like they're the good guy. And I suspect they're not. But you know, as the final note of Peter Teal this week, I don't know if you saw this Joey Dief, it seems to be roughly confirmed like not all the way across the finish line, but pretty much confirm what was the suspicion, which is that he's going to steal mayhem. I actually thought for a second you were going to say that like he's getting married or something. I'm not even already married. Good for him. Sure. It's a for for people. I wish the thing I was going to say is the Peter Teal probably has some money behind Clavicular. Oh yeah, I've been seeing that. So do with that what you will someone who's making people hate themselves and doing all this weird shit to looks Max and try to ruin a younger generation clearly has some mental issues and stuff like that being funded by Peter Teal. That's not weird at all. But I wish all of you could have been in the state house with us. After we recorded with Lee Cronin, there will be another Lee Cronin episode coming in a couple of weeks at a good time with him. The British scientist and chemist who was on my show back in episode 289 really enjoyed Lee Fun Guy. But I wish you could have been there at the table when Joey Dief had to explain to Lee Cronin why Peter Teal is so shiny. I put the reaction on my Instagram story that Lee had basically his head was in his stake. I'm not going to say it. Maybe in a future episode, Joey Dief will go there. You guys can try to guess. I'll give you a hint. It's not because he's a reptile. But the delivery, I've heard this joke about I don't know 12 times before when Dief goes to deliver it. And it's it is funny.
