I just had a memory float into my head that I think was trying to scare me. And I couldn't control it. This all happened just now. Yeah. We might be up against something in this building that we didn't plan for. You have a lot of trauma. No, kitty, it's a telepath. You got your ears clogged, plan an idea, emotional manipulation, externally controlled telepath. There's one in the building. Is it Shadow King again? You said your mom expelled Shadow King from his host of Red Skull. She did. But maybe he's back. So, what are we supposed to do about it? Sculls. Theoretically, I can throw up a telekinetic shield to protect us from the bullets. Should I? Right now! What just happened? What did you do to him? I don't know yet. It's so beautiful. Chrono skimming, temporarily sending a person's mind through time to an earlier memory. It's not gonna buy us enough time to breach the trophy room. But if we can get up to the third floor, I got an idea how to ambush Red Skull. If I can pull it off. Move out! Ebony blade. Ebony blade. Ebony blade. Out, damn spot! Ah, better. Now I can see every dry drop of blood. Ah, makes me feel like they're here. And soon, Wolverine, we'll be resting here too. That's so distinct. Drilled into a velvet display just like his friends. But no rest will be had until Wolverine dies. Today, he will join the gestonk of his fellow ex-med. It's only because I want his skeleton. Ah, the Ebony blade. This guy here. Forgit by the hand of evil, and meant to be held by an evil hand. Oh, perfectly, it fits mine. What a lovely gift from a dead Avenger. What a way to display open a mutant, and expose his spine. Kidney! Kidney! He caught you in your blind spot, Shadow Cat. Even some of them, I don't have eyes in the back of their heads. Only buns. Blind spots are a liability in any fight, but where their most devastating is much, much closer to home. And if you choose to ignore them, it's gonna hurt. And who does a better job at hurting than me? I'll give you a hint who it is. Bob. Look at you and your mutant's miscreants have done Wolverine. Instead of using the tool, you desecrated a museum. A museum? One man's museum is another man's funeral home. You wouldn't know I could jump from Sverk if it ate you in the face. A rare point of agreement there. Now let go of your hostage. So long as I kept an open mind. And I'll finish when mom started. This Shadow King is a dark itself. You cannot kill it. But I can kill you, Red Skull. A little healthy rate. Let's go. Oh, boy. We're going to get out of hiding in the dark and step into the mother-loving life and live and love and do whatever the hell everyone else gets to do. 'Cause we are the light. You return from the war, either with your shield or on it. I took Captain America to stand by that. What's that sound? The Shadow King commands you to put that down. Wonder if Captain Shield here is.
