In this episode we explore AI critical thinking, democracy, the future of society, and why we're made believe questions. Question our own belief is one of the most important things we can do. And you've written about everything from AI to qualities and philosophy. Tell us a little about yourself and what best part your passion for these big ideas. Well, my passion for these big ideas started when I was a teenager. I had big interest in philosophy, politics, and economics, sociology, and psychology and stuff like that. These fields attract me the most mostly social sciences and humanities attract me as a teenager. And then I kept reading, I kept building up my own knowledge. And then I transformed the from reading into writing and within writing I started developing my own philosophy. Please don't. Three main pillars, AI DUP, as you explained AI debates on one's publications and enlightened populism. I could have died in populism as a behavior pattern of communication. And thirdly, I'm advocating for the establishment of a global government to be ruled by hyperlocal citizens. Interesting. So your book covers subjects. Many people find it semi-data. What inspired you to make these conversations accessible to everyday readers? Well, I believe we shouldn't be intimidated by topics. We should open up all of the books for discussions. And I believe we can, the best way to do that is to start a conversation. And so I hope my books can serve as conversations, thoughtless. Okay, so was there a defining moment in your life that major realized you wanted to challenge conventional thinking? I had a severe accident back in 2008. I had brain concussion and I lost my memory accordingly. Since then I've been building my own knowledge. And this led me to have some sort of a unique perspective of multiple issues. And then I started tackling my own beliefs. And over time I started updating my own beliefs and value system to its current status. That's great. I'm still let's talk about AI and AI view. One of the things that caught my attention is the AI DOP, which is the AI debates on one's publications. So for listeners, hearing about this for the first time, what exactly is it? AI DOP or AI debates on one's publications is a content creation framework. It involves a content creator, contenting, and AI tool to criticize their own content and publishing the entire and add to the transcript of back and forth argumentation within 24 hours of the exchange. So it goes exactly like this. You have the original piece of content, whether it's an essay, a book, or a video, or anything. And you start by asking the AI tool to take a position opposing to yours, by criticizing this piece of content. Then you engage in back and forth argumentation with the tool. You copy paste the whole conversation, not anything. And you publish the entire content to then 24 hours of the exchange to effectively document where AI tools stand at the time of publication. And that's great. So most of those defend your ideas. What you deliberately invite AI to criticize yours. Why is criticism so valuable to you? Well, I believe ideas and books are dead if they are not discussed and debated openly in the public. So I accelerated the process. Instead of waiting for years for readers to start their own discussions on my books, I started the process on my own. So readers can have a better starting point. Instead of starting with a simple theory or thesis of mine, they can see that theory or thesis, along with a set of arguments and counter arguments to formulate their own opinions accordingly. Interesting. So did AI ever point out something that generally changed your perspective or improve your work? Yes, I had a theory on work-life balance and church in an AI/DUP session. Pointed out that my theory wasn't universal, it wasn't for everyone. And I accepted the criticism as valid because I came up with the theory based on my own experiences. And people like me who are work-holics by choice. And the theory completely is regard to people who have hard work-holics or work too much because of economic situations. So I accepted the process as valid and I acknowledged that my own theory wasn't universal. So, one minute, many people worry that AI could replace human thinking. You think to use it differently as a thinking partner. So how could people approach AI responsibly? Well, AI is just a tool at the end of the day, so it all depends on how you use that tool. Some people use it for idea generation or for ghost writing for authors or stuff like that. And in this case, your mind becomes numb over time. You become incapable of generating ideas on your own because you are too dependent on the alarm or the AI tools. Others like myself can choose it to enhance their own critical thinking. You can use these tools have almost half the sum of human knowledge. So they are capable of criticizing your own ideas or beliefs. And they can come up with sharp criticism on your own content. So this is how I use it. I use it sharply criticized my own content and then I engage in back and forth argumentation for the benefit of the reader. So what advice would you give to entrepreneurs, students and professionals, all wants to use AI without becoming overly dependent on it? While I believe for entrepreneurs they need to do what I'm doing but they need to do it privately. They without publishing the content, they need to come up with their own ideas for the business and then feed the thing to an AI tool. Ask the AI tool to criticize their own line of thinking and then engage in back and forth argumentation until they reach better conclusions. This way these debates can help them effectively make ideas sharper by responding to criticism. To find their own thoughts, they may accept placisms valid or agree to disagree on certain points. Yet they may benefit from the AI tool and integrate it into their own work life without becoming overly dependent on it. That's great. Okay, so let's talk about a lighting the populism and critical thinking. One may introduce the concepts of a lighting populism. Could you explain what I mean the support things? Well, enlightened populism is a behavioral pattern of communication that involves listening to multiple experts trying to understand how they reach certain conclusions and investigating the information to discover the truth. It contrasts with the two dominant behavioral patterns of communication in today's world, blinded elitism, which entails blind de following an executor on elite on a subject. certain issue and ignorant populism which also involves the absence of investigation while relying on feelings or trends. So instead of relying on a single expert or a group of experts to tell you what to think or tell you what to believe and instead of relying on feelings or trends, you go through these three stages. You listen to multiple experts, you try to understand how they reach certain conclusions and you investigate the information yourself to go in the truth. So that's interesting. So you described through on healthy communication patterns, which is the blinded etsyzin and ignorant populism. Why do you believe both are harmful? Well, both are harmful for apparent historical data. For instance, for ignorant populism, you have people speaking about climate change and they think it's a hoax or it doesn't fail or it would affect us or stuff like that. So ignorant populism is dangerous for that reason. Blind elitism, you have instances across history in which experts promoted for certain ideas that were toxic or were proven to be wrong over time. Eugenics is a good example of that. Interesting. So it's a misinformation spreading so quickly online. Akin, ordinary people become better critical thinkers. It all starts with having the time and energy to be committed to becoming better technical thinkers and the willingness to challenge their own ideas and beliefs. So then you have the media and how we deal with it and the internet and access to information. Social media relies on personalization showing each person content based on their historical interactions within the platform. This ultimately creates a situation in which a person's use of social media is an endless state of vice-compromise. Even if the person doesn't suffer from confirmation bias, even social engines and alarm amps can turn into echo chambers if not used wisely as they both rely on historical data of interactions using private and commuter mode occasionally while submitting queries through multiple search engines and digging deep for multiple sources is advisable. Same goes for alarm amps with the additional feature of intentionally getting into a debate with the alarm by prompting it to take a position opposing to us. Okay, so if someone wants to start practicing a lighting populism today, what's practical appy? Would you recommend? The way we deal with media is the first practical habit and after that, there are few issues related to the economic aspect of enabling lighting populism. This was covered in my book "Set Mindsfree and Humanities Money". They have to do with macroeconomic changes. We have to introduce policies through a world government that ensure that we all share the benefits of technology instead of allowing a few billionaires to take all the benefits of technology. In such case of the AI, we can introduce policies that aim at reducing working hours instead of the massive layoffs that are expected to happen soon. This way after reducing working hours, we can ensure that people have enough time and energy to practice lighting populism. There are a few habits to turn in lighting populism into sociologically make it appealing and these are covered in my book "Tooth of Sexy". I believe when we all strive for consistency, we may find the consistency we are seeking within the boundaries of uncertainty by embracing the fact that opinions, attitudes and beliefs are changeable over time. So it gets back to parenting. Kids tend to copy the attitudes of their parents and siblings if present and parents tend to teach their opinions and beliefs as fact. The truly enruths and based truth seeking, kids should be told that these are the set of opinions and beliefs of their parents while being told that they can develop their own over time. So this has to do with everything you are teaching, your kids, whether it's ideas related to belonging, whether it's ideas related to religion, anything goes like that, anything you teach your kids, you must teach your kids that these are your own opinions and beliefs and they are changeable over time and that they can develop their own with complete freedom. Okay so you also have a kids for ambitious ideas including strong agricultural cooperation and great-sized cities and participation in governance. So what's the way I this picture? I believe we should completely abolish the current nation states, abolish the the military industrial complexes put an end to all wars and unify the world under a single global government. This single global government made tax billionaires out of existence by setting a halt cap at $999 million per person and use the money acquired through these measures to introduce shelter access to clean water and food, education, healthcare, freedom of expression, freedom of movement and stable speed internet connections as these are human rights. So I believe there are hundreds of millions of people around the world who live below poverty line and there is a state of extreme wealth inequality and extreme wealth concentration and the world has been having the wrong direction for long years and we need direct citizen participation. We need this global government to be ruled by by by regular people through citizen assemblies and to replace the current corrupt representative democracies with direct democratic participation. Each person gets one vote on all issues of policies so issues and policies so we can get rid of corruption and we can get rid of the problem. So we need to get rid of the problem. So that's great. You also believe access to healthcare education and clean water, internet and freedom of expression should be universal today. So why are these so important to you? Well, as for shelter and access to clean water and food they have to do with a human being having a dignified life, dignified standards of living and these are long over you. People should have had them long years ago. Same goes for education and healthcare, especially that you're asking people to act to practice a 19 populism and investigate for the truth. You can't ask them to do that without proper education. As for freedom of expression and freedom of movement, they have to do with our feeling of being incarcerated within nation states around the world. We need we need these rights to be able to do whatever we want. As long as we're not contradicting the global constitution or the sort of laws. And stable speed internet connections are essential because you can possibly ask people to solve the problems of the 21st century while you're lying on the tools of the 19th century. You can't ask people to investigate for the truth without stable speed internet connections. Also, why may difficult change one thing about today's world immediately? What do they be? I change people's minds about nationalism or patriotism, I believe they are absurd and they are structural barriers to achieve to coming up with a better future. Oh, that's great. What gives you hope today about humanity? Despite all the challenges we face. Well, at the end of the day, as human beings, we are creatures that value logic. We are creatures that can find logic and move behind. We all practice philosophy at the end of the day, even if we don't realize that we practice it in our daily lives. Philosophy has to do with the the study of reality, truth, existence and the human condition. So even without realizing we're all at some sense practicing some sort of philosophy. So this gives me hope for the future. People love wisdom and philosophy is the love of wisdom. So hopefully this will make up for a better future. Yeah, totally I'll give it to you.
