And it's worse than you could possibly have imagined. A 300 foot rocket aisle is climbing the Empire State Building. You wheel your plane around, and you open up on it, your machine guns. The bullets ricochet harmlessly off its armoured hide. My God, they do nothing. It turns its mighty head towards you and begins to open its mouth. You take your chance, you fly straight at it's gaping more, and fire at its weak point, ripping out the channel through its disgusting tongue. You begin to pull away. The quick as a flash, it snaps its jaw shut, taking off your wing. You begin to go down. You struggle with your parachute. Will the mighty King Croc be the end of you? Or are you on a mystery quest? And she's being dragged across the floor. Using her claws to drag dig into this concrete, those nails are breaking. She's being dragged closer and closer to the center. This thing you just draw. This symbol. What do you want to do? What does it, can I, as that's, I've watched now and I'm like, I should be I'm thinking through the book to see what the next bit of the ritual is. So you don't entirely know what the ritual is. You just know that you had to draw that symbol. I could just stab the thing with the No, get away from her. Get away from the monster. Um, there's this other like lead statue type thing that's looking outwards, um, that has a symbol symbol on it as well. Um, and you start finding, finding some, some of these lead objects around. And this creature is in the very dead center of all four of you. It is kind of like half in the table. - Okay. - Turn the bust towards the thing and put it on the ground. - Okay, like as you move with this bust, it seems to be panning this creature in. It is forcing it back. What do you wanna do? - Oh God, I think I would put it down as well if it seems like it's pending at this point. Just as you come closer and closer, like where this amorphous invisible shape is, it's vague outline. As you get closer and closer, it's getting pushed back. It is held from the statues that you've got. busts all of those things and is actively moving away from them and it is stuck between all four of you. The one that is lying on the floor, the one that is still being held, and laughing. As you move closer, it is going to turn as much as you can tell if it's turning and it begins to breathe in in your direction. Can you make me a constitution role? Yeah. So I got 39 and my constitution's 50. Okay, right. This is painful. This is Megan's didn't, wasn't as aware of the pain. I'm in saying right now. She was just screaming anyway. As you, as you do that, it shrinks back like it is contained within a area only a few feet across, um, and it is really struggling, um, to, I'm going to push as far as I can, uh, strength roll or if you want to keep pushing or power roll or something, give me a power roll. There are a couple of these young Mrs. Miggins' just kind of streaming in, but none seem to be really approaching these objects that you're holding. You can try to push in again. Maggie, you are out of action for-- - Whoa. - I'm going around. - Anyone around? - Yeah. (laughing) - I'm still just fucking sure. - You too can get out of my head. I'm gonna try pick up a run at it with the thing. - Okay, yeah, with one beg push. - Please. That's a very fine-- - That was good roll. - 35. - That is a hard success, man. - A hard success. - That is a hard success. - Both of you are trying to do this. And you think with only you two combined, this thing's force of will is stronger than yours. You are in this room. It's the slightly disheveled dining room of the Wailand house. And there are dozens and dozens of people from all of your pasts. The entire Wailand family is there. The Evangeline in her long, clawed dark hair is running around you. They are all screaming shouting to stop. Trying to make you not do this anymore. And you are all holding onto these things. And you can tell this thing is getting in its unknowable way it is panicking. With one final push and one good power roll, you might be able to do this as you all kind of come back from the brain leasing. - So this is it. - Very push, peri. - What? - Just having a giggle. - What do you want me to do? - 62, which is a success. - Ooh, 43, which is a success. - 70, but I'm spending every bit of luck to make that a success. - I got 50, I can spend 10 luck. - Okay, what is all of your powers combined? Captain Plank? - 70 power, but I got 62 for this roll. - What we rolled or what we have? - Notice what you have. - How old? - 70. - 50. - 60, 60, I'm sorry. - I'm not going to go 14. - I'm a con-pass. - You're quite weak-willed. - Yeah. - Yeah, with a shout and a scream, you all hold onto these and slam together. And the creature is almost crushed between them and is just screaming like, "Nah!" (growling) - Yes! (laughing) - And it is just crushed into absolutely nothingness. The room goes silent as that happens, the voices of all of these hundreds of figures now, all just drown out at once, and they all just disappear, and you are stirred in the wail and house, holding a load of statues. - Carefully put the statue down in the room. (laughing) - Did we do it? Is it done? - Okay, we go to the door and check if it's fucking his bricks. It's outside. Please, let us leave this house. - Yeah, you go to the door and it's kind of, a bit later on at night now, maybe seven o'clock like the sun is kind of going down. It's still pretty warm. It's nice late May, early, early June day, and yeah, yeah, like it. - It's still the car. - We can leave. - I'm thinking the rules right. - Certainly.
