The transcription begins with hosts Luis and Chris introducing their Pokémon Go podcast before shifting to a live-play segment of the Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing game. In the game, investigators Willie and Mrs. Miggins are exploring the mausoleum of the Wayland estate. They experience eerie phenomena, including strange laughter and a horrifying entity emerging from a sarcophagus, causing them to flee in terror. Upon escaping, they realize hours have passed inexplicably, with daytime suddenly turning to dusk. They confront the housekeeper, Rosemary, about the events, describing a ghostly figure and a rat leaping from a pot of soup, but she dismisses their claims. The tension escalates when the spectral figure—possibly the deceased lady of the house, Evangeline—reappears in the kitchen, prompting another sanity check and a frantic retreat. The investigators reunite with their companions, expressing urgency to leave the estate, while the staff's bizarre behavior and the distortion of time deepen the mystery and horror of the scenario.
[MUSIC] Hey, Cox. Welcome, trainers. My name is Luis. >> And I am Chris. >> We welcome all trainers new and all to the Purify Podcasts. We run about Pokemon Go. Again, we love just as much as everybody else. >> We like to talk news, updates, and our own experience of gameplay. >> If you want in real opinions about how we play and how we love this game, this is the podcast for you. >> Check us out on your favorite podcast feed. >> Storm clouds boil around your rooftop laboratory. Years of scientific study and evil deeds have led up to this moment. The mismatched patchwork could have allies in front of you. With a flash lightning strikes, causing power to surge through your arcane machinery. Cogs begin to spin and the machine whirs. You call to your decrepit henchman flip the switch mongo. He does walk tackling maniacally. >> No. >> A bolt of electricity surges through the body in front of you and then silence. >> Alone. >> A twitch of a finger. Have you created life? Or are you on a mystery quest? [Music] >> And welcome back to Call of Cthulhu, the Saturnine Chalice. >> Previously, our team of investigators stranded without fuel sought help from an isolated manor house. While exploring the estate, they started experiencing strange and terrifying visions. We rejoined the adventure with Willie and Mrs. Miggins exploring the family of Mosulia. >> We are down in the Mosulia. What are you two doing? >> I'm grabbing Willie. >> And I'm. >> Willie. >> Don't you dare laugh at that. >> That's so childish. >> That is so childish. >> So childish. >> That is his name. >> I'm sorry. >> Willie, what was that? >> I know Lord, sweetheart. We gotta get out of here. >> This cattling laughter is swirling around the room. >> And you can suddenly hear a pounding from the inside of the sun. >> Willie, we're leaving. >> We gotta leave. >> We gotta be running up the stairs, holding hands. >> Yeah. >> You are run. >> I might probably have one last look over my shoulder as we're leaving at the sarcophagus. >> Does the sea fit moves or any shit? >> Give me a spot, I don't know. >> Why would you look at the bad thing? >> Uh, 29. >> Oh. >> Which is a, uh, hard success. >> Nice. Okay, with a hard success, um, give me a sassy roll because the sarcophagus isn't moving. But you can see there is a hand reaching up from behind the opposite side in the darkness. And this head beginning to come up. >> 95. >> 95. >> Hello. >> You can lose three sanity, these elongated, cracked fingers, dragging themselves up this shaking, quaking figure. >> I shouldn't have worked. >> This long, dank hair. >> Willie, let's go. >> Yeah, I'm running, I'm holding Mrs. Megan's hand. I'm trying to get the hell out of there. >> Aren't you temporarily in Satan now? Isn't that five in some way? >> That would be the five. >> You need to lose more in, uh, it's five in one go. >> I'm done. >> And then that's when you have to roll against your intelligence. Or if you lose, uh, a fifth of your total in one day. >> Okay. >> Um, five down, but not one go. >> Is probably how it goes. Just in case, uh, we are often played hard and fast with rules, um, just to keep things moving. >> It's very good fun. >> If that's a proper-- >> It's actually the very special mystery quest, House Rules. >> These are the mystery quest addition, chaos, um, uh, they-- we're waiting on them to approve of them. >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. >> But we're pretty sure it's going to be, it's going to become, become the thing. >> Yeah, you are going to burst through the iron gate. >> Yeah, you smash through those iron gates and in the darkness, you can hear footsteps, footsteps running off the stairs. >> I'm not going to turn it. I'm just printing for the house. >> Yeah, I'm the same. Keep running honey. Keep running. I run, run, run, run. >> I knew I saw something. >> I'm screaming. >> I'm screaming. >> Yeah. >> I'm getting on a bit of my age, so I'm like shuffling. >> Yeah, you, uh, hurry, hurry over to the house and, um, yeah, you make it to the back door, go in through this kind of like this white storeroom and, uh, you're in the-- and you slam that door shut. >> Mm-hm. >> It's only at this point that you notice, like, it's like sunset. It's the-- >> Time of really fast-- >> The sun is, the sun is going down. >> Were we down there for an unknown amount of time or, oh, god. >> And you slam the door shut and, uh, then, uh, yeah, all of a sudden. >> Well, but I just, I just like my watch and be like, what, what the heck? >> Yeah, you can check your watch and, yeah, it's saying it's about like seven, seven pm. >> Mm-hm. >> How long will we down there, honey? >> I don't know. This is all for-- >> I hate it here. >> It was a beautiful day and then now it's-- it's dusk. I thought I saw a quaw-- I don't know what's going on. >> This is no fun. Unlike my famous novel, "The Gasly Giggles of Gideon Gravestones." >> Oh, wow. >> That's something that-- >> You saved for this moment to get your book names there. >> So that's a bowler for last, but this is awful. I hate this. We have to leave. Where are the others? We're going to go. >> Uh, well, what about, what about, uh, Rosemary and, um, Jeremiah? >> Uh-huh. >> We can't wait-- we need them to be ripped apart by whatever's going on here. >> Rosemary pucks her heads, uh, out from the kitchen. >> It's like, oh, it's, uh, is everything-- is everything okay? >> Right. >> Can I get you anything? >> Um, more peppermint tea? >> Right. >> Rosemary, have you ever, like, seen a creepy person like-- >> There's something strange, Rosemary Giggles. >> I kept toenails and, qua-like hands. >> Oh, no, I-- >> Have you ever heard, like, any weird laughter around the grounds? >> No, I-- I don't-- >> You look quite flustered. >> Um, we-- we just-- >> Wait, would you-- >> We went to pay a respects to the good lady of the house, and we heard some scary noises. We thought we saw a lot of things, like, we're a bit-- we're a bit on it. >> Come inside. Oh, you look like you've seen a ghost. >> Um, well, I think we have Rosemary. >> She takes you into the kitchen. There's two-- two mugs of, um, uh, like, steaming peppermint tea, for you guys, and, uh, yeah, she's clearly been doing stuff in the kitchen. >> Um, but tell me-- tell me what's going on? Uh, what-- can I go-- >> We were down in the mus澎ly, I mean, we were just trying to pay our respects and be kind, because clearly, this house was benefacted by a lot of death. >> Oh, yes. >> What is just so sad, the-- >> Oh, yes. >> The recent-- >> And there was a scratching inside of scoffer gas, and, well, of course, big willy went over to go and have a look, and got a screaming and horribleness, and we ran right out. >> I swear, I heard something behind me as well, and I think I saw, like, a-- a quad hand. >> Oh, wait, this couldn't-- so was it-- was it-- rats? You heard? >> Uh, no, no way. I never seen a rat like that. >> I had problems with, uh-- >> Have you never-- has no one ever seen all of her? I mean, this place is strange. It's a straight-- there's something strange going on. >> Oh, well, I-- I do my best to keep this tidy, and I'm so busy. >> Oh, no, no, no. >> No, no, no. >> No, Rosemary, the place is immaculate. Look, lovely, it's very nice. You've got such an amazing job here, you know. >> Thank you, thank you. I try-- I try so hard with them. >> Uh, you-- you do-- you're doing a great job. We're just saying that we think someone might be out there something in right, like, you got like a security around these parts. >> Well, we should go and tell August and-- >> No, we shouldn't-- we shouldn't-- we shouldn't-- we shouldn't bother him because we don't worry, no. >> No, if you think, um, some vagabond, uh, look-- >> That's exactly the word I would use. >> Yeah, um, look, the-- he had the-- the Muslim built, uh, for when, um, uh, when-- when Evangeline, uh, when she passed, uh, he was absolutely heartbroken and-- >> What's-- what-- what-- when we were down now, I was quite struck by the obsession of angels. There's lots of angels everywhere around there. >> Oh, yes, the-- the-- well, yes, the-- the Waylands, they-- they're obsessed with-- they love-- >> Well, I know, it's what I said. >> I'm fucking obsessed. >> And that's-- I'm just copying-- I'm copying, you know. >> No, it's fine, well, I mean, the conversation is tough. >> Well, we're talking to her. Could I be, like, pacing around the kitchen, like, worry-y-dly, but kind of working around to see, you know, is there any weird things lying around in the kitchen? Like, she, like, putting any weird things in the drinks. Like, is there anything that stands out to me as kind of-- >> Give me a spot on this. >> Oh, God. >> Is there a spot in-- isn't always bad, yeah? >> Is there a spot in the discoling crossbows? [laughter] Uh, that's a-- 72--

You can see fully stood up. This long dark head. The ISC, the system. You both see. The room is getting just darker and darker. Can I just like grab Miss Megan's by the rest and just run out of there? I'll even grab. I'll even grab Roseberry. Where's we doing this weird talk to us? Yeah, I'll grab her anyway. Okay. Yeah, I want I mean, I'm gonna do a sanity check as all of a sudden yeah, this figure is just stood in the doorway. 57. Oh, is that Pulse's or fail? That is like pass for me. No, like 24 for me. Yeah. Okay, you can lose. I mean, I'm looking for under my sanity, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm fighting 57. And Miss Megan's you have lost one sanity. She has stood there kind of like a little bit dripping. These long, distended claws, her head kind of down, this length hair hanging over it. This her like kind of slightly tattered white dress. As you just just stood there, like literally three feet away from you. I scream. Yeah, yeah, you let out this involuntary scream and Roseberry is just there. Just say we're trapped. We're trapped. They're keeping us here. We're trapped. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I can I'm grabbing ball for them by the arm and running it. Okay, where are you running your two August? Okay, well, yeah. So currently you guys are stood with you're with August and Jeremiah listening to Veronica just click away on the piano and you hear a scream from the kitchen and you can see Roseberry and Mr and Mrs. Megan's stood in the kitchen and then they just start running towards you. And they look absolutely terrified. You definitely heard Mrs. Megan scream and they're just running towards you. Roseberry is kind of just planted there. She's just stood just talking. If I put her she would she come along. Give me a strength strength kind of role. Come on big Willie. Oh yeah. That is a 69. Nice. I think I should push that because what was your strength? Oh, 60. You can just spend luck to do that. I could spend luck. Yeah, I'll spend the luck. If I can name points off. Sure. Yep. Take me down to 61. Yeah, you it's almost like she's resisting at first. Like not wanting to be moved. But then you gotta get out of here Roseberry. She's she comes. Yeah, comes with you and it snaps her out of whatever whatever was happening. Does she snap so that does it get greater? We'll get to that. Okay. But she comes with you and she's like oh, damn rats. Like there can't be rats here. We need to be up and ready for the party. And it's just mumbling that as she's dragged through the through the dining room, knocking a chair or two aside.
something you're in in the lounds with these two. You I cannot explain what we've just seen. We have to leave we have to leave this place. Come on. What happened? What happened? You're pissed. Listen, we it's more than just a feat now. I'm seeing all sorts of things. What it's it's tool. It's her and I'm going to point up at the what's her name? Evangeline. Peaning it but August, I don't know how to say this, but I'm seeing. A ghost or someone maybe playing a prank on you, the a very scary version of your wife. What my wife? Why? Being dead for I know. For 30 years. I can always say what I'm seeing here. We went to pay respects at the Maasurium. We saw some weird things and then we had a wife and Miss Miggins here. She saw something. We saw your wife. She saw her corpse. She said, right, right. She's got talent. I don't have to explain it. What are you talking about? What were you doing in the Maasurium? We thought we pay a respects to the lady in the house. You've been so hospitable to us that, you know, we just thought that we'd be polite and go and pay a respects. This seems like the most cruel and unkind joke to be playing. I'm sorry. The one that goes to you. There's no laughing matter. Oh my God. Perry, you were telling the truth. What did Perry see something to? Oh, yes, I had the window just over there. Is trying to get the window. You point the all the curtains are shut. Oh. The when did the when did the curtains get drawn? Was it not drawn? Did you? There's I think maybe when you came back upstairs from being in the basement, you didn't notice it immediately, but all the curtains are shut in. Look, look, guys, I've got a cap coming on the way. We can just go wait in the car. No, Rose, we said we're trapped. That's what Rose, we said. Well, Rose, we's not quite all there. She's a little bit. I think we should just. Maggie, what time did you call that cab? Because me and Miss Bingan's, notice something kind of weird happening. And I look at my watch again. Is it changed much from when I looked at it? Yeah, still what do they say about seven or eight o'clock? Seven or eight o'clock. Yeah, it's about seven or eight o'clock. We were we were in the garden. We went to the Mazoleum. It was like, I don't know, maybe like two or three PM. And then all of a sudden, it's like sundown. It's dark out there. Is it? Yeah, we're out the curtains. Go over and open the curtain. Yeah, you open the curtain and yeah, it is the sun is setting. What the hell? Did you not hear him beep or nothing? Who? Beep. Do call a taxi, right? You call the cab. Oh, no, he's on the way. He'll be here and about. Well, it was 40 minutes or so, I guess. No, I come saying when did you call him? 10 minutes ago. But I didn't have to tell him the time. I just told him to come to Wailan. Wailan to state. August, you got any idea what's going on here? I look, we, when it gets dark, we close the curtains. Well, how do you, how do you, anyone would it? Rose, how do you explain that rat in the soup? We watched a rat jump out of the soup. And then Rose, we went to my quad. Quite, quite, quite queer. I don't, I don't know what the, I don't know. There was no rat in the soup. No, we don't have rats in the house. We had rats in the house. No, no, no, that Rose Mary, we didn't, we didn't see nothing. No, I don't know. No, there was no, there was no rats enough. There was no rats in it. I haven't seen any rats. It's better that you forget about the rats. It's better. It's better. I think it would be very good. The Rose Mary did not remember the, no, no, there was no, none rats. Rose Mary, could you get me a delicious cup of that rope, that peppermint tea that would be up-swended right now. As you ask that, she likes snaps and is like, "Oh, peppermint tea right away. And can I get you a martini and a glass of wine?" And she just kind of walks back into the kitchen and begins to kind of pottering around in there. God, I don't know those bloody martinis. This is just like your book, The Bone Chilling Ballad, The Bone Saw. Well, actually, as your teacher told you, I was actually going to know one of my books, The Like a Frothing Lullaby of Lawrence Lycan. But it is much darker. My books are far farther, yeah. Well, this will help you write the Greek E.C. O'Clock's of Can Chalk's words. I know, I can't release without book tour. Okay, like, well, I feel like we should be getting to the bottom of this. Yes, I agree. I think you haven't been entirely forthcoming. Something is very strangely gabbling here. Something with the angels. What is this, Sarah? I understand. We're doing the Abramalyn operation. Are you familiar with it? That's what we're. No. That's what we'll be. You said that. you said that. The Abramalyn operation. It is a way to contact the divine. Hey, how are you doing, Nick? Just like your friend here, where he can. He's at the acquaintance. I just. Look, I attempted this. It's a ritual. It takes six months to perform, but mine unfortunately failed. And. Have you been. Are we like six months into it right now? No. You start today? No, this failed some time ago. And. What are you? Let me guess. Was this shortly after your wife died? No, I only began this once. Once my dear Veronica, she had gone. She had left her university and gone on holiday. Oh! That's when I performed the ritual, but I. And did that? But I failed and Veronica returned from her travels and she's going to attempt to perform it. Did she return quite suddenly from her studies? She. She did. She came back quite abruptly from. She was traveling the world at the time and she cut her travels. She cut her travels short and now she's. She's going to perform. She's going to perform the. A Bramil in operation. Did you tell her to do this? Is this something she's doing over all her cord? No, I believe she's doing it. of her own. of her own choice. And she's there and she's like, Yes, no, I. Yes, I. I, for some reason, I just decided that I would do it. Well, Veronica, do you want to show us some. I mean, I'm very. It's very interesting and very intriguing. Do you. You're also lots of books and things. Do you show us some of your. some of your studies? Where you learned about these things? Well, yes. Father. Father, he collected them. I didn't collect the books. Okay. Where were you traveling, Veronica? When you were away? I was traveling around the world at the time. I was in. I was in Berlin. Oh, I love it. And I loved to travel. I had such a great time while I was studying at university and then after that. What year were you there? Oh. Yes, I was in Berlin. It's quite fashionable there now. Yeah, it was a good place. I was having a wonderful time. I'd made loads of great friends. Oh, yeah. I was just a little bit more than I was. The party was happening tonight. The party is tonight. But we're starting tomorrow. I'm starting tomorrow. Okay. Where is Jeremiah? Jeremiah is. He is in the corridor. You can see him through the doorway. And he's stood on a step ladder. And he's putting light bulbs into the chandelier. Jeremiah? Yes. Give me one second. I've got my hands a bit full at the moment. Right. You get. I'm trying to kick. Can we see the letter that Jeremiah sent you when you came home? Oh. I don't. I don't know where it is. It might be in my room with my things. Yes, with my things. I think it's quite personal.
Deremi, have you got any fuel or petrol we could possibly have to get our vehicle back up and running? We tried in the basement. Oh, well, we've got gasoline. You need gasoline, right? Where might you have some of that? Well, we normally would keep it in the garage, but sometimes we might have some spare gasoline down in the basement. Could we go and check that, see if there is any? Yes, if you want. Just bear with me one second and he gets down from the ladder. I'm not going to whisper amongst those things. What's your doing? Yes. There's absolutely no memory of what's happened today. Like, don't you find it kind of weird that he's doing the chandelier thing again. He said the same thing he said when we knocked on the door. And now he doesn't remember that he showed us to the gasoline already. Yeah, what the hell is going on? But that doesn't explain the sun going down in like two hours instead of like seven hours. I don't know what's going on with that. It's a very strange thing. I need to sleep around. I think we'll get out of here. Let's go looking at things and see what's going on. I would tell him, if I was you, I would stop taking the drinks because they ain't even using the kettle in there. One of those teas, it was amazing, but I don't know what's going on in there. But we should certainly stick together. There's something very strange. There's a rat in the suit. Don't be careful of. If G-Hee's you say that. Is there a rat? There's a rat in the kitchen. I've been very shut up. There's a rat in the house. It just echoed. Rat in the kitchen. Rat in the kitchen. As you say that, Rosemary comes out with a tray with two cups of this peppermint tea, a martini and a glass of wine. Oh, thank you, Rosemary. Thank you, Rosemary. Thank you, thank you so much. I hope you enjoy and Jeremiah is like, "Oh yes, I'm right this way. If you could have a go on the door, it's a bit stuck, you see." And there should be some gasoline down in the basement. Right, I'm just going to enjoy this tea right now. And maybe I'll get up and have it in a minute. But thank you, Jeremiah. Really? There was something in the basement. I'm not sure what it was. Oh, it must simply be gasoline that's down there. That's present company escorted. There must just be gasoline that's down there. Have you got mad as well? That parrot. He's trying to go along with him. You eat it. Yes, come to the basement with me, Perry. I think that would be a great idea. I don't want to go there on my own. You already sound like you might have been there before. Ah, my war wound. Oh, get me a lie roll on my seat. What the fuck is lying in the face? My first talk is kind of more. First talk. Okay, well the odds are in my favor. What's that? 67. I just found out. Oh, yeah, it seems like maybe he had a war wound. I didn't know you were in the service. I used to serve myself. Where did you serve? Oh, I was in France. It checks out the war. Oh, so was I. It doesn't check out. I was there as well. I was in here. Yeah, like, well, I was in Epe. Oh, I didn't have the pleasure of making it down there. They've been in their wars. My dad. Yes. Fight for the boring. Well, I think me and Maggie are going to go upstairs. We need to go fight a bar for war. It's far too long since I've pissed. We need to powder our noses. Yes. Yes. Okay. We got this whole fuel situation figured out. Me and Perry are going to go down there. It's going to be fine. Okay. I'm going to guard the front door. Perry, where are you going? Do you want a powder on your nose, too, Perry? I think we should all powder our noses upstairs together. I tell you what, the old war wound is, is when going downstairs. It's real bad. It's not too bad. Wait, will you get stuck? We'll cross that out later, like a cow. You can't leave the cow upstairs. But you can't leave the cow upstairs. But you can't leave the cow. That's a famous thing, right? That's what they say. It's in the 20s. Check it. Yeah. Fact check me. A day, you cow. Are you talking to the viewer? Okay. Do the all seem to keep, even August, seem to keep you stuck in the loop of, like, snapping back to, like, oh, I remember. Oh, but would you like to hear a song? Or the old? It does seem like it does. It's August. It's August reset. At all, really? You think everyone's a little off. Okay. I mean, they are literally NPCs. They are literally NPCs. They're all, they're on tech top. Would you like to hear a song? I'm going to pop pop pop. No, I'm going to. I'm going to. You begin to descend into the basement with Jeremiah. And we're going up. We're going up. You know that. We're heading upstairs. So yeah, you head up up the floor. Mm-hmm. And yeah, the staircase kind of curves up onto this landing with a couple of doors coming off of it. Only one of them is slightly ajar. And in that, you can clearly see is a bathroom. It's pretty nicely well maintained up here. And next to one of the doors, you can see like a dust pan and broom. No. Just stood just like outside. Are there any traces of sand? Give me a spot hidden. Oh, no. 93. 93. Oh. Uh, you hear a noise. You hear like, you hear, you're just scratching behind one of the doors. Scratching behind one of the doors. I'd point to the door. You, what's that, Perry? Maybe they've got a door. You hear like a scratching. I think I hear a rat from Yonder Door. Oh, you go ahead, Perry. You want Perry? I'm not sending ladies in first. Men first. I tell you what. You're going to ask go first. You hit the wall. And then I pull out my gun. And I'll cover you, darling. I guess since Willie's not here to cover me, well, I go. I'm going to see old lady go first. Good luck, Mrs. Niggit. I'm 55 and an author. Old lady. Well, like, we are fucking awful. These are my friends. Oh, Scott. I don't book about it. Whoops. See, well, I guess I do like adventures. And maybe I'd be like, oh, I'll do it. I'll open the door. I don't know what a two-lady should say to you right, dude. I'm going to hide behind Mrs. Megan's. What's in the door? [laughs] So, yeah, you open the door that has the just pan and broom next to it. OK. And it's locked. Lamao. Gave it to it. You thought you were going to open that? No, no, no. Yeah. Let's try the handles. It's locked. Guys, it's locked. It's locked next door. What if I shoot it open? Oh, my gosh. Shiny pick locks or something, aren't you? You know, I thought I did, but I don't know. And I can see that anywhere, actually. It's under L in my head. Locksmith. The whole house can hear it with your screen. Yeah. It's all over. You know, like when you put a few drinks and you can't, like, see, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you're down in the basement. Like, you hear that. Like, with the spooky dolls and the flashing lights. Are you could just hear them? I believe I can lock them, but I'm not sure if I do not have a lock pick. And don't mind. It's just ignoring it. Yeah. What would lock pick be? Can I see locksmith? Locksmith, yeah. Oh, I don't have that. I've got one percent of locksmith. Well, you can always try. Come on, leave it. Let's try the next door. Your rolls are so good. But what if I shoot it open? I'm standing away from the door. I'm moving far away from the door. I've got a great aim. Right in between the eyes. No, it's ever there. The door. I'm going to shoot the bloody knock open. OK, right. Well, we're going to cut back to this. Oh, OK. You guys, we have old Mr. Miggins and Jeremiah going down into the basement. Oh, I'm going to fucking die. I'm on my own with the creepy bot where I'm doomed. Oh, how did you get into this situation? Oh, how's the wall? You're poor thing. You've also left your wife. Butler goes ahead. Jeremiah and he heads over to this slightly darker area. The light is kind of a little bit flashing. And you can see him stood next to some like a gas can or two. He's like, oh, the here is the gas, the gasoline. I've found it. We might just need to check to see if it's full or not. Look, it's a little heavy. Oh, for me. Do I feel like he's bullshitting me? Like he wants me to go slightly more into the dark or whatever psychology? 18? 18.
You. You don't think he's lying, but there's something off about it. There's. Well, you know, I'm quite getting out of my ears as well. Like, I got a pretty bad back. I really need to, like, you know, someone else to get it. But hey, at least we know it's down here, right? Oh, yes. We can come back and get it when we need to leave after the party tomorrow, right? I'm gonna specifically say tomorrow. Tomorrow, the party. The party tomorrow, right? No, the party's this evening. Oh, this evening? Uh, yes. I guess you should be arriving. I'll wait, we'll keep my watch for. Any minute now. Oh, well, we better head up there and meet the make sure that that candle is in good working on it. Yes, that reminds me. I need to change the bulb. I'll spot the lantern for you, pal. He's like, oh, well, I'm down here. We should maybe get some more wine for the guests. That seems like something rosemary should pick. She's gonna be pretty good with the ventages and stuff, right? Like, I don't drink empty total myself. Like, I kind of don't even like the water. None of us are drinkers, but I believe some of the guests might want some wine. Just bear with me one moment. I don't understand rosemary down. The lights aren't so good. And she had a fall a few years ago in here. She fell, did she? She just hurt her leg and I sometimes worry about her. We're both getting on a little bit. And he kind of like goes into the dark a bit and the light is flashing. How are you? I'm gone. I'm fucking it. I am like. Are you pussy? I am fucking straight back up those stairs. Have a look at the thing in the corner. Okay, I love it. I don't know what the lump is. Okay, no, no, you do whatever you want to do with your own. I can't leave good old Jeremiah. My good buddy down there to die. Okay, I'll hang about well the way it's flickered a little. Just just if it gets, if I hear anything, I'm gone. Okay. If I even hear it, if you see something in a shadows, just make sure you roll a spot hidden just so you can get a good look. Really, really good looking. Yeah, I think that if I hear a scratch or any noise that's not Jeremiah, I am. Well, this is perfect because he's over there and he's like, "Well, damn light, I should be changing the lights down here, not all that shandola here." You're not wrong, pal. It's pretty dark down here. Oh, what's. What's this? What could this. Oh my. Oh my god. Oh, it's Marie. Oh, it's Marie. No, I'm running. I'm going to go. I'm going to go. I'm gone. I am. I'm upstairs. I'm running. With his cartoons, he just leaves like a puff of smoke. Yeah. As you start running, you hear a gunshot. You guys are upstairs. And you have just blasted the lock on this door. Which of these. There's three locked doors up here. The one that we've scrumbed. I tried to open. The one that. We want to open her bedroom. Is there any indication? No, no, you didn't say that. You just said, "I'm going to shake this window." The door that had the scratches coming from here. What I'd just said did not specify. Well, I was thinking that we need to find out which is her bedroom. I wonder if she's got like a cute little hint. You specify the scratch you want. You know, what's her name again? Veronica's room on the outside or something. Oh, very nice. Classic 1920s. That. How do we know that doors even locked? Oh, right. We were outside of A door and the door is locked. Okay. All right. You're right. There is a specific door. Okay, I'm shooting the lock on that door. That might be Veronica's room. It might be. Fingers crossed. Right, you. Blamo. You shoot the lock. This shot is loud. Even though you've only got like a deronzer, people are gonna definitely have heard this. And you're gonna fucking forget it. You're the one that's. Blast the lock open. And yeah, it like shatters. Shatters of the lock mechanism. Hell yeah. Or slowly swings open into this completely kind of bare room. It is sort of this really pale kind of like white wooden floor, white wooden walls. And there is. What looks like some kind of altar, like a big pedestal type thing made of wood. Kind of sat at one end near a behind, like next to these big bay windows, French door type things. And you can see behind it, there's like a pair of legs poking out, like someone's lying on the ground behind this thing. What? Can't you hear it? Did I shoot someone? I think so, Maggie. Take the gun, Barry. Take the gun, Barry. Take the gun. Look at my figure prints on it. Yeah, exactly, yeah. What's that behind the altar? Was that the person? No, there's hope she's not out of gum or something. Harry, does anyone know first aid? Harry, you go in first. Harry, save her life. Does anyone know first aid? Harry, go in. Erm. No, 30%. That's fucking. All right, I go in front with the gun drawn to the body. Cool, as you step inside, there's other doors, opposite these French windows. There is. another seven doors that open into the adjoining room. As you go in, above this altar, you couldn't really see from the outside, but there's this big, heavy metal lantern, like, darkly above it. It's very all-naked, very weird looking. You'd guess, maybe you can't expect it. The adjoining room, you look into it, and it is a. like a few centimeters deep in sand. And there is no furniture in there whatsoever. It is just got this floor, entire floor is covered in a few centimeters of sand that looks like it's been raked absolutely pristinely around the place. That is super. super well maintained. Okay. You make it over to the body. Yes. Give me a. I want a sand. sand roll from you, because this is a dead body. I've seen dead bodies. 30. Have you seen dead bodies? I've seen dead bodies. If you've seen dead bodies, I don't think you're going to be too spooky scared then. It is. the dead body of Veronica. Veronica is lying. like on her side. She's wearing this black morning dress. It looks like she has been dead for a little while and is like naturally. just natural decomposition is going on. Her hands are clutched around a like some kind of wooden spike that is plunge through her chest and you can see it poking out of her back. Oh my god. And on her face you can make out like the tiniest hint of a smile. Maggie. Maggie. Harry. What's wrong? She's something cool. Yeah, it's apparently. What is it? What is it? What is it? Maggie is Veronica. What? Veronica's downstairs. She's dead, Maggie. Harry. Harry, are you an idiot? Veronica's downstairs playing the piano. You're going to hear it in the bloody piano. Come and have a look. She's dead. Oh, look. She's been dead for days. She's then. gardens with the sand indoors. I want one of those in my house. That's nice. We can get that for you. We can get it. I know a guy. Wait, sorry. Oh my god. That's my Veronica. How familiar are you with dead bodies? Can you give me a sand? So, other than the previous adventures we've had, I've seen many dead bodies. I think I've seen one. But yeah, I've seen a couple. Can you sand check just to see if it's super spooky? 43 and my sound is 50. Okay, yeah, you're fine. Absolutely, okay. Oh my god. It's been live, Veronica. Jim the same dress. Oh yeah. Oh, exactly. Dress, isn't it? Oh, oh, oh. Wow. Mrs. Miggins. An old room. Mrs. Miggins. Come and have a look at this dead body. I really want you. What the hell is happening in there? Wait, it's a Veronica was on the piano. You can hear it right now downstairs. She's playing. Wait, can we actually hear the piano playing? Yes. Oh. Yes, you can. Then who's. Then who the bloody hell is playing the piano? Well, thank god both of you have weapons. I mean, what is going on here? Maggie, run downstairs and see if Veronica's on the piano. I'll just pop my head around. Oh, she's like a bloody vampire. Why should I go to stake through her heart, Perry? Is it vampire? I know. You've got to cut the head off. Yeah. Salt the body. Yeah. Burn it. Yeah. Uh, uh, sprinkle garlic, aren't you? Oh, yeah. Simmer for 25 minutes. Yes. Wow. Uh, can you give me a. A first aid, a medicine, maybe like intelligence role, as you're looking at that? First aid. Or. Intelligence is a lot better. Cool. Yeah, just hit me with that. What have we got? What's that? That's not good. That's, uh, that's 99 again. That's a cruel fail. Fuck these cool. Do you want to push that one?
What are you doing? Because we know she's dead right? She's decomposing. So what's the first thing you're doing? I'm just trying to care pushing this of work. I'm like looking at the dead body. Give it a poke. So what might-- How would I be-- Check for fangs? How would I be looking harder? Well, you can stop touching it. Are you dirty, Perry? I don't think I'm going to start just touching around the dead body. Maybe you'd look into its pockets and see if there's-- Pocket? She's in a dress. And she's a woman. And we don't get pockets. We're not allowed pockets. Even to this day. Especially in the 1920s. Especially then, you don't get pockets. OK, well, with-- As that's a crit fail. Yeah. Very bad. All of a sudden, you just hear, what are you doing? Why are you going here? This-- please respect our privacy. This is most rude of you. Oh, you've shot the lock. What the fuck? I think I would point my gun at him because immediately-- Jeremiah. --a Jeremiah. Oh, sorry. Jeremiah teleported. You're not up there. So shut up. OK. Yeah. Jeremiah. What the hell are you doing? What are you? Have you gone mad? Jeremiah, what is-- why is your body dead on the floor? What is it going on? He looks and sees the body. Oh, my God. We've found her. She's been dead. Oh, Mike. Oh, my God. Oh, we're trapped here. No, no, no. This is what happened with Rosary. With-- Maggie, do something. That-- do something, Maggie. All of a sudden, directly behind him, quick as a flash. This long dark head figure grabs him from behind and just snaps his neck. Literally just breaks his neck. Shit. Oh. And it just drags him down the corner, like just out of your line of sight. I can do another one of my screams. [SCREAMS] Give me sanity of roles. That's pretty bad. Oh, I'm afraid again. I'm afraid. Two. Two? No, I'm too late. Look, I'm so used to it. Not even bothered. I have some of yours. You lose two sanity. I'm so sane. Yeah, that just-- you can lose one. Oh. That's not fair. Because it's still-- I mean, it is. I just saw something. --broken. And you hear them get dragged down the corridor. And you hear the-- [GUNSHOTS] --as this body is dragged down the stairs really fast. What do I see coming up the stairs? Will get to that. What are you all like? I think I would run to the next room. I wouldn't look to that next room. I think I'd just run to try and hide or escape. I think we'd all get into the sand room, right? Yeah. OK. Whatever was like away, you'll look safe or feel safe. Is this all to room doesn't feel safe with the body in it? Yeah, the-- It feels fucking horrible, to be honest. The all to room, for sure. Yeah, you head into the sand room. And this room is absolutely being strict. It looks like maybe it could have once been a bedroom. But now there's about 5 centimeters of sand deep throughout here. And what's going on? Why is this room full of sand? This is the zen garden room. What's going on? You can see kind of like on the door frame there was a locked from the outside that had the dust pan and brush next to it. Melted wax has been put all around the edges of the sort of lower foot of the door to try and keep sand from-- Is there anything in the room? Was it literally just sand? It's basically just sand. There is another set of French doors that lead out onto another balcony at the other end of the house. You've kind of gone through. And yeah, you can really see like this has been deliberately left open. So you can see from exactly one end of the house to the other in-- Got you-- in one go. What is happening? Why did you see that, Maggie? Do you believe us? Yeah, but-- There's something happening. Something is very, very wrong, Mrs. Biggins. I don't think ghosts can break people's necks. That doesn't seem right. I don't think it's a ghost. I think it's real. I think there's a murderer. A mass murderer is in this house and it's killing everyone for my own-- Keep your guns out. It's going to kill our snakes. If we don't get the hell out of here. Where? Where's Mr. Biggins? Where's Willie? So yeah, you are heading-- You just ran. He was like-- Roadsbury. No. And I was like, up the stairs. Just instantly-- Instantly flared. Yeah, you made it up to the lobby where you got them. You're in the-- Do I hear Mrs. Megan's scream? You do hear-- You hear your wife's on the screen from upstairs. Honeybun, I'm coming. [LAUGHTER] Was it? Oh, I knew it, Bob. Yes. You run-- Yeah, you run all the way upstairs. You burst into that room, make me spot hidden. Oh, God. I really hope I don't hear the fudge, fudge, fudge. Oh, that's 71. 71. About a few 71s. I know. Did it, is that failed? Spot hidden. That is a failure. I have to be the 60. OK, cool. You run into that room, and you don't notice Veronica's body. You instantly just see these three, stood in the room full of sand, just hanging out. Just hanging out. We don't live there. And taste it all. I like this. I like this. Megan's hands. That does it. I'm like, are you OK? What's going on in here? What's all this saying? We just watch Jeremiah get dispatched, but I-- Jeremiah. Jeremiah. Jeremiah came down to the basement with me. No, he came upstairs. And he-- the ghoul. It snapped his neck. He was like, I-- I-- I'm going-- be honest, I ran away. He sounded sad about Rosemary. He mentioned that Rosemary fell down here once. Jeremiah was with you. Yeah, and like, I think Rosemary-- Where? --died in the basement. I didn't know what you mean Rosemary died. Well, Veronica's dead in the other room, so I don't understand it. I'm just connecting the dots here. But he said, like, Rosemary fell really bad in the basement, heard her leg. But then like, he went to go get a bottle of wine or something. And then he was like, oh, Rosemary. And I just-- Oh, what are you-- What are you-- What are you doing? You're British. I didn't realize you took an acting role. And I just ran up the stairs straight away. I just couldn't-- I couldn't face it. I was like, I had you scream. I had to get up there. I ran up those stairs. I didn't see nothing. So you're telling me, Veronica, Jeremiah, and Rose, me, a room. Veronica's dead. She's in that room. You just bloody walked over her body. Oh, maybe a Sanity role. See the dead body. You turn around and you just see her thing impaled in her chest. 75. Oh, maybe terrible roles. You were in the war, so I'm going to say you only take one. OK. What Sanity lost to sing a dead body? God, my Sanities went down. Yeah, you were the start. Yeah. What the hell happened to her? Oh, back. All of a sudden, you hear a pretty loud bing-bong of the front door. I didn't know it was a place I had a doorbell. Why did we knock? Did you guys knock? OK, fine. Retracts the bing-bong. Wait, wait, wait, wait. It's good. It's good. If you guys are saying that Jeremiah is dead, but he was just in the basement with me, then sure he's about to answer this door. Are you all dead as well? Are you all present? I am. I quite wish, Maggie. I quite wish. Are you sure? All right. Fine. We need to stick looking down the way. We need to stick together right now. All right. Just checking. Should we go downstairs and see what I don't want to go? Why did we check the other room whilst we're up here? Prope, maybe. All right, I've had a lot of gins. You. Will, is there anything in this fucking sand? There's going to be something buried in this sand, right? What is it? Just sand. You couldn't have a dig around if you'd like. You can go around with my foot and just see if there's anything under the sand. Yeah, as you kick around, you can see that the floorboards, they've all had wax filled in between them as well to start to sand. There's a door that kind of leads out onto this balcony, and there is a cupboard in this room as well that looks like a, like built into the wall. A cupboard. A cupboard. Walking, walking. But yeah, there would have been a wardrobe or something. I'm going to look in the cupboard, fucking it. Cool. One second. I'm just going to check out this cupboard. Great. That sounds really, really good. I'm going to push it by three so that I pass it. Okay, great. Yeah, you open this cupboard and it looks like there is some banks that just full of this really fine sand. And you're kind of poking around. Guys, I found sand. I found more sand. What are you doing in a cupboard, Perry? As you look up, there's a couple of boxes and stuff in there. and as you pull to box
is kind of like to one side on this like top shelf. You are inches away from the face of this long dark head woman and she just screams. And she takes it. Oh fuck. Dark Perry. Right, you have the options. You can fight back or you can dodge. Dodge. Half of my decks. 30. Great. Okay, that's fine. Can you make a make me a dodge 30% chance? I got no other option. 25. Oh, hooming roll. Holy moly. She swings these long, dirty and crusted talon like fingers of hers protruding out of the flesh from her fingers. Go inches, like so close to your face as she begins to uncontort her body that was somehow on this top shelf of this covered. I slammed the doors. They're banging on those doors. Loud banging. You can all hear something is inside. What are we to do? What are we gonna do? Put something against it. There's only sand in this room. I've got a hose. I've still got the hose. I'm gonna use it to tie the door closed. Okay. Yeah, you can do that. It's not hard. No, you can do it. Yeah, it doesn't mean there's going to be successful. If you want to give me a mechanical repair or something, I want to see how good this is. You can definitely stop it for a bit. Okay. Can I help him? Is that a help? 100%. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can both hold this door shut. Willy, Willy. Yeah, can I have a tiny dog closed? Pounding and banging. All right, I'll let you give it. Give it give it the hose. Oh, I have very good mechanical. Yeah. Being a mechanical hose mechanical. 21 which is oh, it's a it's a hard yeah. Yeah, the banging on this door. Yeah, you managed to do this in a way that Perry just he was not tying a knot or anything. He just poked it through. Whereas you'd actually kind of secure bits and you reckon you've done a better job. If anything, the hinges are more likely to break off than the actual the not tying courses in their service. I'm not a fucking sailor. But yeah, the the banging and the screaming side. We have to leave. Why do we hear why we're looking at the road run? Okay, I remember when looking at the raw rice. If it currently had any fuel in their raw choice. Oh, give me a check. We were looking over the car. I looked at the inside of the fuel gauge and stuff and the engine. Give me intelligence to see if you remember. 48 I have 50 in cool. You do remember that it was empty. It's like yeah, like as you were looking at it, you were like fuel gauge. That's why we have to check the cans and that's why we went and do this other stuff. Rats. Yeah. Yeah. Don't say rats. All right. So we're leaving this sand room. All I know is we gotta get out of here now. All right, we're not having a fucking conversation. We're literally leaving. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to see us in the other room? You hear another like bang bang from the door downstairs. Actually, my cat was like going and saying it sounds like driving me nuts. It could be the party guest. Maybe they can help us. Yeah, let's go downstairs. Could we, are you head down and just as Jeremiah is saying, it's like, oh, there you are. The party is the party. It's we're about to begin. Most of our guests already sat down in the dining room. Can we look through to the dining room? I feel like I was in the vanity check. We've watched him die. You're welcome to have us. I feel like I was going insane. I'll listen to door there, right? No, you need to kind of follow 86. 86. Yeah, you can you can lose a point of sanity if you like. We just watched this poor man get murdered. You want to just go crazy. I feel like I'm going crazy. Yeah, how much have you lost in total? You have an idea of six. Okay, you guys are doing great.
