Will you make it back to the safety of your wall home in time? Or are you on a mystery quest? And welcome back everybody to Call of Cthulhu, a modern scenario called "Forget Me Not". Previously, our investigators made their way to the Cooperhouse to try and track down their missing producer Lynn. While inside, a stranger emerges and a fight breaks out, causing one of them to shoot in a moment of panic. In a shocking reveal, their body is full of white spiders, which are merged from their corpse. The shock of this causes Carter to go temporarily insane and begin to consume the spiders. We rejoin the mystery, with the team trying to snap Carter out of it. I might try and grab Carter and Heimlich Manuva. Try and get him to throw those up. Oh, bringing them back up again. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I don't want him soiling them because I just threw them up myself and seems like real bad news. Yeah, give me a, give me a, give me a medicine or something roll. There's another bedroom or two, almost no furniture here. It looks like there was a little camp had been set up up there, like a stove with a tin of beans on it. And there's like a disgusting old bed in another room where there's kind of cans and cigarettes around it again. Maybe some old condom wrappers and things like that. Oh, yeah. Poshy. And this house is absolutely silent. And you make it back down just after you've been caught to be going through like the equipment, like there's the cameras and things there. And you've just spotted this microphone that goes on the stairs going down. I think that maybe somebody might have gone down here. This mic's down here. I'm laying. Are you down there? So I don't know what those two pictures were. Okay. Thank you. So yeah, you can easily easily grab like one of these lights. Yeah, half-disked man phone is like the phone torch. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you can have a phone torch. You can dismantle one of these lights. Yeah, you can get a ton of illumination out of this. You are, you feel like you're fairly familiar with using these lights that you've helped kind of set them up and you just instinctively know where the power switches, you know, that you need to pull this cable to plug in the battery pack and stuff like that. And yeah, you head down, down into the basement and then there's some more of your guys, like equipment down here. And then there's, you recognize your boom mic is. Oh, right. Okay. Actually, on the floor in this place and you can see your recorder, your, so it's down here at mini-disk. Yeah, audio player like this. Your mini, your very fancy mini-disk recorder. There's like an old like wood boiler that hasn't been used in years. And maybe I know maybe just like 15 20 foot by about 30 feet. Like it's kind of about the same size as the like half of the downstairs of the house. And it looks like it's kind of carved into rock that this is an all just built. But not a lot else going on in here. But there's a door for the end. Is it keep going further in? And the rest of you are proceeding down this tunnel or the door opened up onto this almost like perfectly cylindrical tunnel that slowly descends down. maybe about like 30 degrees, so like kind of weird to walk on, very, very smooth, smooth stone, and it goes for maybe like sort of 50, 60 feet just into the darkness and your phone, phone light at the front, struggles to penetrate into the darkness, and just like always on the very edge of your light, you can just make out these little spiders like scuttling away from you, these white bulbous spiders, until eventually you make it into this like spherical, cavernous room, that always, like a perfect, perfect circle, and maybe 60, 70, 80 feet across, like it's really, really big, and there are spiders everywhere in here, absolutely everywhere, wherever you shine your light, they kind of like move away from you, you can see they're trying to stay back from you guys, but it is covered with them, can I get some sanity rolls from everyone, please, because it's hard to feel about that, I was gonna say like yeah, like I'm probably struggling, like I'm using this light almost as I'm listening, like you know, trying to spend these spiders off, now I thought yeah, I do succeed, okay, great, one, one, the bravest, I just love spiders, okay, miss the givils at home, oh god, you know what, get two sanity back, like you do not care, I just fucking love spiders, this is exciting for me, you're like holy shit, this is a good episode, this is cold, and who else failed?
