Buying a New House

Natalie and the group discuss their excitement about moving to a new home in Florida, which they believe will enhance their work and social life, especially with its lack of a dining room making it ideal for hosting events without disruption. The new house is being envisioned as a full video series, where each episode highlights a renovated room with themed, branded elements such as a "microsoft editing studio" or "pickleball center," emphasizing creativity and personalization. They also share their experience watching *Voiceovers from Isabel*, initially skeptical due to negative online reviews, but ultimately impressed by its unique blend of quirky humor and thoughtful storytelling. The conversation expands into deep reflections on apocalyptic scenarios, including a discussion on human survival, the fragility of knowledge, and the difficulty of rebuilding society after a global catastrophe. Amid this, the group touches on personal relationships, self-sabotage, and emotional vulnerabilities—highlighting how Natalie subtly influences their decisions and emotions. A major setback occurs when they lose an SD card containing the raw footage of a planned business vlog, severely disrupting their content plan and causing frustration. The episode concludes with a lighthearted look at conspiracy theories on TikTok, medieval punishments, and the absurdity of certain viral content, while also reflecting on personal growth and the importance of self-awareness in relationships. The hosts briefly mention a movie recommendation, *Imitation Game*, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, and end with a note of humor and reflection on their evolving life experiences.

what's up guys all back to views we are back with another podcast yay natalie's fostering a dog so she feels distracted oh it's because little louie's here and he's the focus is off of you i hate it it's ridiculous i can't believe that there's a second but we're not all thinking about you i know i know it's it's it's rude it's not right it's truly something that i walked in and it was the first thing i thought of i have so much to talk about today i don't even know where to like start where do you want to start okay guess what i just did what we put an offering on a new house no way we did isn't that crazy to move what yeah where is going to florida this is gonna be one of those things i wish we were leaving the state bro this is gonna be one of those things you're going to hear on the podcast okay and you won't see it for three four years in the vlogs or you'll never see it if our offer doesn't get accepted yeah if the offer gets accepted are you gonna do it yes yeah wow yeah i guess if you make an offer you have to do it right yeah yeah wow yeah so we leave this house for another one what could be this is what you're asking right jay yeah yeah is this the house that you were talking about the other day i've been talking about it for two years oh yeah and i really want it um and it's a project the entire thing is a project and i want to turn into a video series i want to like this would be like this would be like the perfect build out wow and everything would be exactly how i want it 100 like not saying there's anything wrong with this yeah but this house is better for what we do like for work right so this new house would just allow us to do work better if that makes like an entertaining yeah mecca so we can hold dinners we'd be able to hold like fun events without bothering anybody like in the neighborhood right which is really big there's no dining room here there's no dining room either yeah yeah which is yeah so yeah but this is this is a long shot you you may not even hear me ever talk about it because they're off or i don't know you know you never know um i wasn't going to bring it up but i'm just like super excited and that's all i can think about so wow it's like the only thing he's been excited about for like honestly all year yeah or multiple years i guess yeah like this is like when people ask me what you're working on next i fucking hate that question i get that all the time i'm gonna say and i'm not like and i'm not just like i'm not just saying it's going to be great for work just to like give myself an excuse to get it yeah like it will be a proper project like i want to do a full video series of of like every episode is going to be a new room that we're renovating and just like and every room will be like like my price picks gym here do you know what i mean yeah like i'm gonna have a brand come in and be like this is the microsoft editing studio bay and it'll look like something out of spaceship like i want to make everything really really cool like this is the pickleball center by celsius celsius what part of town is it in i don't want to say but it's in a good spot it's a good spot i just don't want to say because i don't want people to say sacramento uh but yeah that's all i was watching a movie that i also want to talk to you guys about which what is the movie i suggested for both of you to watch this week oh you gave that to jason too yeah voiceovers from isabel yes you watched it yeah it's really good really good and it was like a chick flick too so i was surprised i love chick flicks i know you do zoe deutsch is really good she's great that was the role for zoe deutsch yeah she like fit the bill perfectly and the writing is really for that character yeah yeah yeah i feel like she'd be good in anything but that and that writing was really good because it's like so tough to like pull that like quirky fun off but they were like really uh they were like they made fun of the fact that they were being quirky too do you know what i mean yeah it's just like i don't know it was just like it was i thought it was i thought it was really good and my first impression of voicemails to isabel was i saw a tiktok like nally brought it up and i was like i don't want to watch it and then the first thing i got on my tiktok feed was this guy completely shitting on it what do you say he's like this movie fucking sucks he like tore apart a scene and he had some good points whatever but then i watched it with the mindset that this movie sucks because of this and so like i spent the entire movie slowly convincing myself that the guy was wrong right and i hate that i hated that because if i if i just went into it in a positive mindset i would have like loved it from the beginning but once i got to the end i was like yeah this movie is incredible it's really good but that's not what i want to talk about it's watching an apocalypse movie where basically everyone dies at the end yeah and like a couple people get to restart the earth yeah and which is kind of crazy to think about because there's a bunch of conspiracy theories that the earth has restarted multiple times right like like we've come from mars and i never really understood that because i'm like how can you restart like why do people why would people forget everything right but then i was thinking let's say there's a comet that's heading towards earth right and for some reason whoever's the protector is like david jason john natalie julia alex everyone that lives at the house taylor zane scott i don't fucking know whoever heath you guys are all good you guys will be the only people to like carry on the lineage of humans yeah okay so like now we'll have to reproduce and all that blah blah blah but like we're gonna start like obviously of course we're gonna have to all sleep with each other all the fuck but now we're all now we're starting at ground zero right the earth is in ashes yeah but now what do we do because like we know everything like i know like well we need a cell phone but like none of us will ever be able to make that all the books are gone everything like we you know what i mean sure sure we're completely we get fire we exactly yeah is that not scary to think about like if an apocalypse happened and it was dependent on humanity depended on us yeah yeah it's fucking terrifying no no but i've always thought about video i've always thought about it as like for the five of us to watch for the rest of time i don't know but i've always thought about like the whatever humans having to restart like we'll be easy because we all we already know we need red lights we need traffic lights we need stop signs we need laws we need regulations we need cops we need prisons we need hospitals but aren't you thinking a lot more local locally at that point yeah you're not even there you're not even establishing society building roads yet i know we're not there yeah but then what am i teaching my fucking kids i'm like there's how to survive how to hunt how to find water exactly yeah but then i'm also like i need to plant seeds of their being possible like i have to now i'm a caveman drawing fucking a cell phone i'm drawing a cell phone i'm like this is what we're gonna make and now it's gonna take what another fucking a thousand years two thousand three thousand four thousand years to make it again yeah yeah or or yeah or what that's all you guys have to say do you have access to chat gbt what like are computers working and stuff no what are you there's nothing the whole fucking point no i'm asking the planet was wiped out we went underground everything's wiped out just grass and animals uh is there what the animals survive other structures no no everything's gone jay okay so we're just standing in a dirt field the seven of us yeah with animals we have to hunt and shit what's your point animals i don't know don't get mad at me fuck you guys i'm going down no genuinely fuck you guys i'm literally going down your your insane fucking road and you're like are you not listening i'm like i'm trying to i'm trying to play along well my point is isn't that crazy that like if everything was wiped out i wouldn't be able to bring us back oh that's your point nobody none of us would yeah yeah i mean for number one step number one everything being wiped out is just crazy period okay i don't think there's a single human on this planet that's going to be able to just like i've never thought about it like that like when you watch apocalypse movies they're always like okay we need 10 people from each science right and we need we need we need young people we need old people we this is about you coming to grips with your limitations yeah in other words in your mind you feel as if you could do anything and you're you're a god but in this scenario you finally coming across something where you're like man i i wouldn't be able to do anything that's what's going on right no like in my mind if there's like a noah's ark type situation where there's like a thousand of us and then maybe something happens and sure 900 of those thousand get hurt and killed yeah and now there's only 100 of us yeah that's not good news like that is still full-blown we have to restart everything we don't have light jay okay we don't have light we have to carve shit out of wood why is this not bothering you dude because if an apocalypse really came if it really came down to that i'd probably just you know peace out oh so we don't even have you so now we're down to like seven yeah i'd probably peace out really pretty much i mean to sit around with you in the dark and listen to you absolutely fucking make the apocalypse all about you how you can't do anything and listen to that i'm saying we can't do anything well you don't know what natalie could do i have great survival instinct yeah but that's the thing is that i'm not going to be fucking well hang on hang on hang on i mean like i don't know make it a little bit easier give there some hope there's no hope no there's no hope if it came so what would you do how would you get food question if there was a zombie apocalypse and you had a gun yeah you had all the ammo in the world would you kill yourself or would you like would you batten down the hatches i've thought about this too zombie apocalypse let's say in america there's already a million zombies yeah that run and want to eat you and turn you into a zombie yeah what are you doing gee i never really thought about it yeah well this I don't know why you're not thinking about these things because there are a number of things that can happen. I know it sounds funny to you, Jay. Jonah called you a nerd today and it blew my mind. I was like, oh yeah, I guess he is kind of a nerd. Why did he call me a nerd? What a fucking asshole. I said, I'm going to Dave's and Dave's going to be watching Pirates of the Caribbean tonight. And I was like, it's just funny to me like those guys over there, they'll put on Harry Potter for like the eighth time. And Jonah was like, he's like, well, you know, James watches a lot of movies. And I'm like, yeah, yeah, but I don't think James is watching like Harry Potter and Pirates. And then Jonah just goes, well, yeah, I mean, Dave's a nerd. He wasn't like being mean or anything. And I was like, oh yeah, I guess he is. Yeah, okay, that makes sense. You kind of like go in and out of being a nerd. Because you are very cool. Thanks. But then at your core, you know, you got Jumanji on. Actually, that's so funny. No, he was here. That's why he's making that reference. Oh, I was like, we put on Jumanji yesterday. Did you? Did you not know? No, no, I didn't know. Yeah, he wasn't here. Oh, he wasn't here? Oh, yeah, we watched it yesterday. Natalie made a comment at the beginning of Jumanji and she goes, this is like a little weird and gross for me. What? I hate Jumanji. And it like seeped into my head. What's gross about Jumanji? The old one. I've never seen it. Oh. What's gross about it? It's like old and cobwebby and like dirty and just like the whole like. It's very. Very like. Like I watch it, I'm like, ugh. It gives you kind of like. Icky. Yeah. Okay, okay. It makes you feel like you need a shower. And it's such a classic that people are always, people rave obviously about, love Jumanji. They do? And I've never, yeah. I've never seen it. I didn't feel like, I didn't feel like that was a problem until I kept watching. And then it was actually putting me in a weird mood. Natalie's a really, Natalie's really good at infiltrating my mind sometimes. It's really interesting. Like she did it with this house, right? Like I didn't want to buy this house. And then she goes like, this is everything you've ever wanted. And then I was like, yeah, this is everything I've ever wanted. She ever ruined food for you? I'm a master manipulator. Have you ever ruined my food? Food? Like you're eating something and Natalie's like, that's gross. No, but she is, she's really good at like, she could convince me that I'm in love with a girl. Oh yeah, I can, I can. She could do that. Like there's wild powers. I'm so far infiltrated in this man. It's crazy. He doesn't even know it. Like, no, I'm aware of it. I just can't help it. So like, yeah, like we'll be like. I own you. That's good powers. Yeah, that's crazy. Well, like really? Yeah. She'll be like, you like her. You should go out with her. Yes. So there was this girl I was talking to a really long time ago. Yeah. And I was just like, I'm not really feeling it anymore. Like, I don't think I can do this. Yeah. And she's like, are you kidding me? She's everything you've ever wanted. She's this and this and this. You remember, right? I'm pretty sure. Yeah. And I was like, fuck, you're right. And then he had like a whole crisis for like two weeks. He was like, oh my God, I have to marry this woman. Wow. Yes. And that's the girl that was like most recent. There was also another girl. Oh. There was also another girl where she, Natalie sent me straight back into like hitting, like I didn't talk to her for like two years and sent me straight back into like, I went to her house and I was like, I think we should try dating again. And she was like, are you sure you're ready this time? And I'm like, I'm ready. And then I wasn't. There's also. Two weeks went by and I was like. I can't do this. I really can't do this. I can't do this. Okay. But see that, that was also the point of what I was trying to do because he, I need him to shut up sometimes. Like he just is always talking about the same thing or the same girl. And I'm like, then fucking do something about it. Right. And I'm like, she is X, Y, and Z and everything in between. This is what you saying you want. Go, go, go, go. And what happened when you got to the end of the two weeks? You were just kind of like, I can't have this responsibility. I don't know. I just like can't, I just can't date. I can't date a girl. Yeah. You want a man. I want a man. I want a man. Um, no. What did I say this on the podcast? I was just like one girl. I'm sure you said it, whatever you're going to say. Yeah. Well, basically, so there's this girl in high school that I used to love. No, I'm kidding. It's not a high school story. I was like, where are we going? No, say it, say it. No, no, no. It's, I was talking to this girl and she's like, you're, she said you're incapable of having a relationship because you have so many, like you have so many people around you that fit so many of the criteria that a relationship would be for you. Cuddle with John. Oh, that's interesting. I think she's, I think I said this on the pod. She's like, she's like, you have a Natalie, you have a Taylor. Sure. You have like all these women in your life that like almost do everything. Right. Like other than like. Except for the sexy time. Except for the sexy, which I'm still trying to convince Nat to just check that off the list for me. Shit. Um, but I thought that was a good point. And I, I think that's. It's like total self-sabotage. Like you are sabotaging yourself. Everything about my life is self-sabotage. Like every, the level of comfort. That's a no. Oh yeah? You think so? I don't think so. Well, yeah. I don't think you're self-sabotaging. In a positive way. Well, I, like for a relationship. No, I'm, I'm also saying like, like, okay, so we're editing this vlog right now. Yeah. And there's a clip in it where I'm like, I'm talking to Josh Richards and I'm like, I love coming to Cannes because I just, it makes me feel like I want to level up every time I'm here. Like everyone's making so much money. All these deals are being like, I talked to all these influencers and they're starting like 300 companies, whatever. And they have 40 employees. And I'm like, fuck, I gotta get back. Like, I have the opportunity to do this. Like, let me do this. Yes. And then the second I fly back home and I get to my house, I get to my bed, I'm around my friends. I'm like, I don't want to do any of that. I just want to hang out. And that's like, that is part of me self-sabotaging and like, just like comfort and like the things I already have. Yeah. Don't allow me, it's enemies, uh, comfort's the enemy of like progress. Right. And I'm like, and I'm fucking in bed with comfort. Right. Um, so that's. That's unfortunate. Guys, good news. SeatGeek is back again because they want to tell you that $35 million and counting makes them the number one rated ticketing app. There are more than 70,000 events listed on SeatGeek, including concerts, sports festivals and more. That's 10% off tickets with promo code VIEWS10. Thank you, SeatGeek. I go to New York City. Yeah. This week. Incredible. To see the Bon Jovi concert. Where's the concert? With my mom. Madison Square Garden. MSG, I think. MSG. Yeah. These are the tickets Bon Jovi gave us. You'll get to see John. Yeah. It's going to be really exciting. I don't know if we'll see him again, but I don't even think my mom could handle seeing him again. I think that was enough. But we're going to be in New York for two days. Just the two of you? No. Tay's coming in. My sisters live there. Oh, nice. Yeah. So five of you go to the show? Yeah. Oh. Yeah. It's going to be fun. I was going to go without Tay, but then I got really scared because now he's like, you have to go to Will Call. I was preparing him. I'm like. He's going to have to go. And I go, how do I do that? He hasn't like. I'm kidding. I wanted Taylor to come, but like that was a big reason. Well, he needs help. That's 80% of it. I feel like I go everywhere with him and I take care of every detail. And this is kind of the first trip in a long time where I'm not going to be there. And I was like, just so you understand, when you arrive, you're going to have to get your own vehicle for you and your family. You're going to have to check yourself into the hotel. You're going to have to go to Will Call and get your concert tickets. Which I could do. No, you're capable. It's just like, I didn't want you to be caught off. You have a car. Matt, I'm outside. Where's the car? Well, that's a table, dude. Yeah. And also I wanted to like film this. That's why. I wanted to film Bon Jovi. So I was like, I don't want to worry about. You're being scared? The minute. No. And he also like, I feel like you haven't taken a trip with like just you and your family and not had like some sort of friend there in a while either. So I was like, you should probably have like somebody there. You would think that that would be backwards. Oh, you mean it's just been me and my family. Yeah. Where it's just you and your family and none of your friends. Or any of us have been there with you. No, I think it'll help. I think, I think it helps a lot. And it allows me to just like be like less stressed. Okay. The vlog. Yeah. I don't know when that's coming. Sucks. Oh, so this is the first time this has ever happened to me in vlogging history. We lost an SD card. Yeah. Which is. What? And I've made 800 videos. Right. Like never have lost an SD card. I may have said I've lost an SD card for like the podcast. Just to like. Just to like cover my own ass. For like not posting a week. But this is dead ass. We have lost an SD card. You've never lost an SD card. I feel like, I feel like. Not like prior. Not prior to posting. Or uploading the footage. Yeah. Like not like. Yeah. Like if I'm like looking for the raw footage of something. Oh yeah. Yeah. A thousand percent. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I've always gotten the footage off the card onto my computer and edited. What was on there? It was. So we're. Some fire heat. Yeah. It was actually really good stuff. What was it? We were. So we're filming like a business vlog. Oh, the business vlog. Yeah. It sounds like you're covering your ass. No. I swear to God. It sounds like you shot the business vlog. You didn't like it. No, no, no, no, no. So. We have the business vlog, but there's portions of it that are missing that we're on. Which was the whole beginning. We shot for an hour at my house. When, when, when the whole, you know, when we had everything in price picks themed. Yeah. Everything was the next day there was another price picks party. Yeah. So like all the influencers were back. Yeah. Yeah. was being funny. You had Sugar Sean back, Sarah Safari, Natalie. Gianni. What? Gianni was there. Gianni was there. Everybody was there. And like all of our employees. So like Brooke was there. Hallie was there. And Charlie was there. And I was shooting with everyone. Yeah. And there was like. John, Taylor, Natalie. Everyone was there. All the roommates. Everyone was being funny, complaining about each other. That worked. And it was also like such a good like beginning to the work vlog. Because you got to see everybody and what they do and everything. And then Natalie was getting a blowout. So we were late for our flight. Right. And everyone was being really. Everyone was doing their job like perfectly in character. Yeah. It was really funny. And there was actual things that were going on. Like there was a mess. John was supposed to clear the alleyway. And we went to the alleyway. And it was you could not step foot in it. And all the three girls, Charlie, Brooke, and Hallie were like tattletailing on him. Where's the card? We don't know. Like it never made it to the editor? Yeah. We have no idea where the card is. So when we open the footage, it starts in the car. And there was a moment where Scan had to change the card out because the first one was full. So he changed it, and then it starts on just us in the car going to the airport. Where did he change the card? We don't know. We don't know where it went. Wow. We don't know. We have no idea. It's been days of tearing this house apart. We've had 50 SD cards that we have now newly found that we've gone through. I surprised my brother with tickets to the World Cup. And that's on there? No. No, no. We have that. In that moment was when David realized we don't have this SD card. So we were supposed to go to the World Cup game. My brother was still sleeping upstairs, and it was the morning after we found out about the SD card. I'm going through the house fucking livid. And I'm like, I'm not going. I'm not going. I'm not going. I'm not going. I'm not going. I'm not going. Not going where? To World Cup? To the game. I was losing my mind. How was World Cup? And guess who talked him off a ledge because I'm so deep in this motherfucker's head. You did? Yes. What did you say? I said, listen. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Toby's going to be so excited. We're just going to go for 20 minutes or 30 minutes. That's what you said. You said, we'll go for 20 minutes. And then I was like, OK, you're right. We should go. He was like, OK, I can do that. And then I got there. And then I was like, obviously, he's going to fucking stay the whole time. Yeah. That was really stupid. But the second she said, we'll only be there for 20 minutes, I literally dropped being angry. And I was like, OK, yeah, that makes sense. So dumb. So I don't know what to do now. This vlog's half complete. It's really ruined my vibe. Start in the car. It's not going to, huh? Start in the car. No, it doesn't start. Our editors, we have two editors working on it, were texting us like, this doesn't make sense. We don't know what we're editing. Oh. Because all of the beginning was the perfect, I can't explain it to you, was like the perfect setup for the whole video. Fuck. So yeah, I don't know. I don't know when that's going to go up or where it's going to go up. I may need another week to figure out what this vlog is. Wow. So I'm sorry about that, everybody. Well, at least we're not in a. We're not in an apocalypse. Well, we would be fucked there, too. But yeah, you're right. You're right. Imagine I lose my SD card and then the apocalypse happens. Wait, you didn't answer my zombie question. There's a million people infected. You have a gun. Are you holding down a house or are you killing yourself? I try to live, yeah. Okay. But then when the zombies got closer. I'm just going to be a zombie. Oh. No, I'm just. You're going to zombie it out? You're going to let them fucking eat you? What would you do? You'd shoot yourself, right? Yeah. Before you. Yeah. You could. Before they start nibbling on you 100%. I'm just asking. Yeah, I don't know. I haven't thought about it. Obviously, you have. Well, I think about all. You'd kill yourself. I think about all apocalyptic situations because something's going to happen, right? No. Oh, okay. What are you saying? I don't know. What side of TikTok are you on? Bad one. Yeah, you got to be careful. I got on a bad one last night. What are you getting? I'm getting. I got a really bad, like, nothing's real. Oh, Natalie would hate that. And we're just like, yeah, it's all a simulation. And Oliver Tree's not dead. Oh, yeah. I've been getting a lot of that. Of him outside the Arctic Circle. I haven't seen that. So, I mean, this is like, people think that Antarctica is just an ice wall. Yeah. And behind it is like 10 Earths, like, amount of land. Yeah. And there's like videos of Oliver Tree, like, outside of it. And he was just vlogging, but like, people like putting conspiracy theories. Yeah. But I'm on the side of TikTok, which I fucking hate. And I finish it. I finish the video every time. It's medieval death penalties. Oh. Dude, have you gotten those? No. Oh, my God. Okay, let me tell you, because this is crazy. Isn't it funny that there's, like, so many things in life that there's no possible fucking way that I'm on that side of TikTok? Like, you could say Cornish game hen. Are you on Cornish game hen preparation TikTok? I don't know what that is. It's like a type of food. It's a chicken. No, no, I'm not there. Basically. Like, there's no way I'm on that side of life because, that side of TikTok, because. But this is like, this popped up in everybody's. I wasn't looking up death penalties, and then I got this one. Okay. Medieval death penalties. Yeah, so like. How they would kill people in the Middle Ages. So one was, and this is kind of crazy. So they're all crazy. What am I saying? One was they put you in a coffin. Yeah. And this was a guy who, like, killed another person's father or something. Like, killed a prince on accident or something. Yeah. So he was put. He was put in a coffin with just his head out and just his arms and legs. And then they fed him honey and milk in this coffin. So it's not like a coffin. It's like a boat. And then on top of it is another boat. So it's floating in the water. Okay. And they fed him honey and milk. Okay. So he, his stomach would get upset, and he'd diarrhea, like, all inside this boat. And then at the same time, they would lather him. You stopped there? Huh? And that's it. And that's it. No. He got diarrhea. And at the same time, they would lather him up from his legs to his hands in honey. And then they'd push him into a swampy area, and he'd stay there. And then all these insects, beetles, mosquitoes, larvae would start to form inside and start to eat him from the inside. And every day, they would come back and make sure he's not dead and once again feed him honey and milk. This went on for 17 years. 17 days. Oh. He was just in the swamp being covered and being eaten alive by insects. And then when they took off the boat and they, like, uncovered his body, there was no part of his body was left the moment he died. Like, they, these insects literally ate through him. And, like, what do we feel like was the point of that? Like, what kind of. I wasn't. It's like a car crash, right? Like, I don't want to look at it. Did he sponsor? Well, that is the grimmest thing I've heard in a long time. Like, I understand. I understand. There's even a crazier one. So, it's called, like, the eagle or something. And so, another guy, very specific situation. Basically, they, like, they put you down on your front and then they cut your. Actually, I don't know how this works. Oh, it's your back. They put you. Yeah, they put you on your stomach. Yeah. And then they cut down your back. And then one by one, they take your ribs and they twist them so they stick out like wings. Like, of a bird. And then to complete. The wing of the bird. This is all. How are you still alive during this? Yeah, this is while you're alive. They do it one by one. They keep you alive. They make sure you're alive. And then this is the moment. Make sure you're alive. How are you not bleeding out? This is the moment you die. Oh, my God. They pull your lung out. They pull your lungs out. And they drape your lungs over the ribs to make. To give you, like, the wing aspect of the. It's fucking crazy. I don't know what you just said. Do you think someone's actually doing this shit? That's what one of the comments was like. Someone was like, there's no fucking way this was actually happening. Yeah. Like, why? Why would they do that? I don't know, Nat. Because I think people were fucking bored. I mean. Did you ever have somebody tell you something? It's just fire, right? Like, they had fire, water, and fucking. Did you ever have somebody tell you something, like, so awful, and you just, like, don't want to hear it? Was that it? No, that's okay. My bad. That's okay, because that was in, like, the Middle Ages. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, like, someone told me a story the other day. Oh, you're about to give us one. Yeah, I won't go into it, but someone was telling me the story the other day about these kids in Ohio. It was like, 19 kids that never went to school, and they were all. They were kept in a cave, and they chopped their fingers off, and they did all these horrible. Wait, wait, wait. Who kept them in a cave? Their mom and dad. Oh, my Lord. Jesus. And so they found these kids now that have never been to school, never been to. Like, they lived on vegetable oil. And just, like, when someone tells me a story like that, I'm just like, I don't want to hear it. This is. I don't want to hear it. Yeah, but how did they tell you? They just kept going. It's like a. It's a news story. But why didn't you tell them to stop? Huh? Every time someone tells me a story, that's horrifying. What do you do? Yeah, what do you do? Well, I have to hear it. You have to hear it. The one thing I don't do anymore that I used to do as a kid, not used to, I did, like, two or three times, was. I think every kid did this, though. When there's, like, live leak videos. Yeah. I think everyone has seen, like, one or two videos. Very early on, I found out that I'm just not capable of. I don't click on any. I don't care what the video is titled. Like, my. Yeah, I made myself watch a beheading video once. It's the worst. Yeah. My interest never peaks to that anymore, ever. No, me neither. It's like. If I'm watching an Instagram video and someone jumps off a building. Oh, to another building? Yeah. Oh, sorry, like parkour? Even parkour, I'm like. I skip that shit now, too. I'm like, if he falls, I don't want to see it. No, no, no, no, no. I go right by it. I skip anything where people are on skyscrapers now, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, what'd you think of that couple that was on the skyscraper? You like it? It's so cool. You like that? Well, was that romantic? A little romantic. Can you come out? Yes, it was so romantic. I was driving. Wait, I had my Uber driver the other night. It was like three in the morning. I'm coming home. Like, I'm drunk from, like, the bar or club or whatever. Yeah. And my Uber driver is like, it's just me and him. And he's like, did you see the couple on the skyscraper thing? And I was like, yeah, yeah, I saw it. And he was like, would you ever do something so romantic for your partner? Oh, my God. Your Uber driver said that? It's 3 in the morning. I was like, brother, I'm just trying to get home right now. You got to get that female Uber. Yeah, you got to get the woman only. I know. It was actually kind of spooky. That's fucking crazy. Or just run home. Yeah. That shit's crazy. If my Uber driver said that at 3 a.m., would you ever do that for a lover? He was, like, asking me very romantic questions. And I was like, oof. Were you into him at all? No, no. He was, like, an older, like, European driver man. Okay. Maybe he, like, meant it was coming at it, like, in a fatherly way. That European accent can be very confusing sometimes. The Europeans, it's just very tough. It's like, are you being aggressive or are you being loving? But, yeah. Yeah. So that's, I think it was cute. It didn't, like, it didn't open anything in me because I just. It didn't? No. It's fucking so terrifying. Are you nuts? Like, I wasn't, like, I wasn't, like, jealous. Have you seen that proposal that man did where he's in the movie theater with his wife and a Disney cartoon is playing? Yes. Yeah. And she's the princess in the Disney cartoon and she gets proposed to by Prince Charming that's also animated to look like him and then he proposes. This was in a movie theater? In a movie theater. They think they're going to see another movie. Yeah. They're sitting front row. Mm. And then she sees this, she realizes, she looks at him, then he proposes, and then everyone that's behind him. Behind them are her friends and family. She didn't know that it was friends and family behind her? No. Wow. Yeah. It's crazy. Crazy they got them all in the theater. Incredible. That was a proposal where I was like, fuck. It's pretty good. This is right up my alley. I love this one. Yep. It's really hard to come up with proposals. Mm-hmm. That are, like, unique and not, like, cheesy. Did you go big the first time when you proposed, Jay? No. What proposal is more important to you, the first or second? That's a fucking question. What question is that? Hmm. Let's see. How do I answer this? What would be the right answer? You know, first time. Yeah. How'd you do the first time? I put it in the dog's mouth. No, you didn't. Oh, wait. You said this. Ring in the dog's mouth. Second time. Wow. That's how you asked me to the dance. When I was fucking 13. Wait. You put the ring. Explain that one more time. We had this dog that we both love a lot. And you tried poisoning it. So it was kind of special. This dog was special. Oh, my God. David, when we get married. Are you going to? When we get married, don't throw shit like that at her. We're going to bring lots of it back. I mean, she's going to talk you into it, man. No, no, no. You really got to keep your guard up, David. No, she couldn't do that part. Are you sure? Yeah. If she was like. I haven't tried yet, brother. Because you've been to fucking 35 countries in the last two years. She's doing a pretty good job. That's really funny. Yeah, no, no, no. I think I'm. You feel strongly about that one? The ship has sailed on that, Nat. You had a chance. In high school. Genuinely, you had such a good chance. So she had made the move in high school. You'd still be with her? I would have had sex with her in high school. You would have. Lucky me. Dorky days. You think you would have lasted? No. You don't. You think you would have. Right away. Came right away. Maybe even in your pants. I would have been so turned on. Oh, no. How long would you have lasted? Well, I used to think that. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. How long would you have lasted with Natalie in high school? Not long. I never had a problem with like last year. Okay. All right. Yeah. It's only happened to me once. Okay, big guy. No, I'm sorry. I hate to flex. No, I want an honest answer. This is honest. Good. It happened to me once and I said, I'm sorry, this never happens. And I was like, and I actually mean it. I promise. This is the only time this has ever happened. Did you see that scene in voicemails? The guy came in his pants? Yeah. That was weird. That was weird. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought that was so funny. It was funny, actually. But it was very like, what? I thought me. I backed it up to make sure I saw what I saw. Oh, like you replayed it? Yeah, I was like, I wanted to see, because I've been into acting lately. I was like, I want to see how this guy plays out. The steak was on it? Yeah. I used to think, because I talked about this guy before, this guy, Woody's Gamer Tag, remember? Yeah. Yeah, he used to talk, a lot of kids would email him about like sexual help, because he was like a dad. So they'd be like, I'm going to hook up with my first girl, what do I do? And his whole tip was to not ejaculate quickly. You'd like have to say the ABCs or count in your head. Yeah. So I used to think it was going to be a big, big part. A big part of my life was going to be, how do I figure out not to like finish quickly? Sure. So, but I don't think it ever was, but. Yeah, I used to struggle with it. Do you feel like you had a lot of opportunities at the young age in high school that you were like, that you could. Yeah, I think I, like in, in like how many times I had sex in high school? Yeah. Fuck, once. Yeah, I'm like. But like, it wasn't a problem immediately. Do you know what I mean? Like, I, I, I, cause I, cause I get so nervous and my nervous instinct is like, I'm going instinct isn't to go there. I just get like, it's actually harder to do it cause I'm so nervous. You know, it's like being pee shy. Yeah. It's harder, harder to pee than not to pee. Not, and now you probably can't come at all. Exactly. That's kind of what I'm trying to get at. Yeah. Not trying to say all those words. Yeah. But you're hard. Yeah. Yeah. Let's just change. Let's just. No, I, I have that problem. You know what's crazy? My parents listen to this. Oh, my parents do too. Yeah. Yeah. My parents watch your Snapchats. Why do you have to talk about it? John's better. Gumming in your pants. Why do you have to talk about gumming in your pants? I don't know. That is actually exactly what his mom says. Please, daddy. It's not good. It's nasty. It's not. You guys are better than that. Yeah. Okay. Right. Right. Right. But you would have fucked up with me in high school. What did he say? That's what you want to get at? Yeah. Yeah, for sure. No, it was just, I was waiting for you to just make the move. I fucking knew it. I fucking knew it. Okay, wait. Wait, I missed that. What? She's just making a joke. What was, what, wait, you put the dog. You put the dog in the, you put the ring in the mouth? Yeah, the box. Oh, and he just, and you were like, Shelly. Yeah, Shelly. Where was it? What was the vibe? Were you nervous? No, I wasn't nervous. Was it like. I mean, like, if you, if you think the girl's going to say no, I mean, don't ask. Okay, but that's not why you're nervous. Yeah, you're just nervous because it's like, it's happening. You're nervous because. I'm not nervous. I don't get. Dude, he's such, he's not a lover. No, I am. He's just like, let's get it over so our taxes can be together. No, I, for, for when I was with, for Naveen, I thought that was pretty romantic. I wrote a screenplay and had her read it. Oh. Yeah, because she had written a little, we went to Babylon and the guy was, there was a guy typing, it was the premiere for a movie called Babylon and the guy would type out a little scene for you. So she wrote me one and it was really nice. And then a week later I wrote her one and I said, oh, we have a little scene and we read the scene. And you acted it out. Yeah, we acted. It's the, it's a five page scene. It's me and Naveen as the characters. And then at the end it said, you know, will you marry me? And then that was pretty good. Was she like, is this real? Yeah. I think she was really shocked just because we hadn't known each other that long. How long was that? I don't know, man. Maybe it was like six months. Wow. Yeah. Pretty. But you don't have any time to waste, brother. No. You gotta get going. I know. I mean, when I met Naveen, she was just like, you just know right away. That's why when I see you guys. When I see you guys single, I'm like, ah, you just haven't met the person yet. You will. You think you're, you think that's like a thing? It's a hundred percent a thing. And it's like, and the least you look for it, the better you're going to, you're, the more you're going to find it. Like, cause I thought for sure I'd be alone forever. I'm like, oh yeah. I'm. And, and once you let go of that, when you're just like, stop looking, you're like, oh, okay. Wow. That's what I think. Oh my God. Okay. Now you're hearing this? No. Like literally just like, forget about it. And then one day your life will be. I just. I just don't even understand how it's like, how you just forget about it. Well, well you, well there's, there's stages to it. There's definitely, definitely like, oh no, fuck. I'm going to be alone forever. At one point you have to lie to yourself that you're forgetting about it. Right. You have to be like, oh, I'm not thinking about it. Well, you really are. Is that what you're saying? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. No, no. You go, you go, I'm going to be alone forever. Okay. That's really sad. And then you're like, well, I'm not going to sit around and cry about it. And then you're good. I just don't think I'll ever like, feel like I'm going to be alone forever. I don't think you will either. I think so. Damn good chance, Natalie. Damn good chance. I don't, I don't, I know that you're trying to be funny. Forever is knocking on the door for you. She, what if she'll meet somebody and then. And what if she leaves you? What will you do? Well, that's my only option. That's the problem is that David is cock-bocking me. Everybody says it. Dude, yesterday, yesterday. How? Yesterday we went out to the. Oh, I was playing video games and the power went out. Natalie was already out, like watching all my girlfriends with all her girlfriends watching the game girls night. Yeah. And I was with my friends, my guy, friends playing video games. Power goes out 11. I'm like, fuck, can't do anything. No heating, nothing. Everything's everything's done. I'm like, let's just go to the club. So I go to the club with Alex. We're like having cigarettes, a beer. We're sitting on the couch. We're like looking at what girls are walking in through the door. And then boom, Natalie walks right in. No way. I immediately dropped and I was like, no, no, I thought I was having a David free night. Yeah, and immediately David brought up that the power went out and how can you get it fixed? Yeah. Now what do we do? I'm going to end up driving Natalie home. You did? Yeah. Did you guys, did you guys like talk and like hang out as friends? Well, what the fuck the club we do that every day we see each other at the club. No, I mean, it's good to drop. - I think at the club, No, Jay, it's I'm asking a question What did he say? He's like, sometimes it's good to drop our guards Drop our guards? He's saying like, sometimes it's nice to get out of that work vibe And just kind of hang I'm like, Jay, we do That's not what I'm saying We're watching Pirates of the Caribbean in about five minutes That's not what I'm saying Well, what are you saying? I'm saying like, maybe because you guys did bump into each other You would take advantage of that moment You would fuck each other Yeah Now you're talking No, no, I was just like, fuck, he's here And then every guy here is going to be like Oh, she's talking to David I think we were also both We were both like scanning the room Like seeing if there was like Any potential singles Right? And it was really bad It was really bad There was one guy that I thought was really cute But then he had his girlfriend Yeah, it was a really bad night I was almost a 10 out of 10 there You what? That's how bad the guy's 10 Damn, that's crazy Oh, you were a 10 out of 10 I mean, honestly, yeah Isn't that kind of crazy? I don't even say that In a way where I'm full This was a weird night This is probably the weirdest night I've ever seen in LA Really? Okay, I didn't think it was like that extreme I just felt pretty normal And then Natalie and her friend Polina asked me, who are the hottest girls here? Because she's curious I'm like, you guys are, 100% Oh, fuck yeah Yeah, I even paid Natalie a compliment That's nice Behind my back, I didn't even hear that That's sort of weird I didn't want to hear that That's nice That's why, well, I meant it mainly about Polina That's why it was a Now, would you go up to that guy That you thought was cute at the club or no? I would have But his, obviously What would you have said? Yeah, what would you have said? He, so, his friend Was the one that invited me out Okay That I know So we had like a very close meeting That's the only reason If I just did not know him at all I probably would not Right But we had a mutual friend So I was going to have the friend introduce me And then the friend was like Oh, that's his girlfriend And I was like, oh, okay Oh I do see this thing on TikTok a lot He was really hot Really? Do I know? Hot like hell You were sitting right next to him What? Oh Not Alex My roommate Alex Oh, he was three over? He was wearing like the hat, yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah, no, he was really If he wanted to If he wanted to have a hookup with you on the side What would you say?
