Buy Low & Sell High Trade Targets Ahead of Week 8! (10/28 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The podcast offers a comprehensive fantasy football preview and trade analysis, focusing on player performance, rest-of-season schedules, and injury impacts. Key players like Stefan Digs, Chase Brown, and Michael Wilson are evaluated for trade value, with Digs seen as a high-potential buy due to consistent target volume despite low efficiency. Jonathan Taylor remains a top-tier asset, though trade uncertainty persists due to Colts' reluctance to part with him. The hosts emphasize that wide receivers averaging seven or more targets per game have historically produced at least 14 PPR points, indicating strong value. Schedules are scrutinized, with teams like the Packers and Tennessee offering favorable matchups, while others like Philadelphia, Houston, and Jacksonville present significant defensive challenges. Injuries—such as Matthew Golden’s potential absence or Sir Tan’s injury—shift player availability and performance, requiring dynamic adjustments. The discussion also highlights the importance of position-specific trends, such as tight ends facing weak defenses or running backs benefiting from poor run defenses. The hosts stress that fantasy success hinges on real-time data, not static rankings, and recommend trading for underutilized players with high upside, such as Digs or Brown, while maintaining caution on high-risk trades. Ultimately, the episode serves as a detailed guide for mid-season fantasy football strategy, blending data, injury updates, and player trends to inform informed decisions.

Whatever's holding you back, hymns has a real plan for it. Be confident, be hymn. This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. Swallow Play! Can you believe this? It's a no again! It's time to dominate your fantasy league. After the race is over, he stays on his feet. Just get out of the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. Oh yeah, it's come day. It is Wednesday, October 28th, and when I just realized I'm saying this out loud, Dave, I should have said this before the show. We don't have Halloween costumes. We have to figure something out. We have two days to do it. I know it's going to be the 30th. When we podcast, we should do it on Friday. We got a figure. We did Wayne and Garth last year. It was great. Put your start, you know, get your noodle scratch and go in. I was just going to be Garth again. Well, that would, yeah, we could have done a better job with that. It was really my fault. We could have done more war waiting, Garth. I've got a backup costume just kind of ready to go. But I think we need to hit up Amazon and see if we can get something delivered. Anyway, welcome, Dave. Good morning. Good morning. Hopefully, hopefully, I don't know where I'm going with this. I was going to make a trick-or-treat pun, but I got nothing. I am so excited that Halloween is on Saturday. Are you? Yeah, because up here, you know, it gets cold. You got to go like after school, you go kind of late. It gets dark super early. It gets cold. We'll get to go a little bit earlier this year and not be rushed. I'm very excited, you know. Don't have a ton of Halloween where they're like super young and super excited for it left. It's true. And my kids are now at the point where they're getting dressed up in inappropriate costumes and going out for Halloween. And they're nowhere near their parents. And so I'm left at the house with my wife who doesn't like Halloween as much as I do. And every year, I beg and plea with her, you got to get a ton of candy. We're going to give out candy to all the kids. And she goes, we're not going to get any kids. No one comes around anymore. And sure enough, there's like eight kids. So the fact that it's on a Saturday might mean that we kind of skip out, which makes me nervous as a home owner. Oh, yeah. Because I remember what I was, wait, what's the statute of limitations on things? You're good. Okay. I remember when I was younger, what I would do when people weren't home or didn't answer their doors on Halloween. You got to put a basket out. That's all. Yeah. Well, I mean, I think the real key is put an empty basket out. And then people assume that someone rated all the candy. That's also like not the right way to go. I don't know. I hate letting it. We've got a lot of neighbors that have little kids. I'd hate to let down little Blake in our neighborhood. Blake. Who wants to come and get Halloween from everybody and all of her neighbors? I'd hate to let her down. All right. Let's do this. We'll find a happy meeting. Maybe we'll stay until it gets dark out. And then my wife and I will go out for dinner because my weekend is literally like dinner time. Look, I'm working Friday. I'm working Saturday. Obviously Sunday. We've got our shows and the games. So I don't have much of a weekend during the football season. So I'd like to have a little time to hang out and decompress. Plus the canes have a pretty big game Saturday night. Of course they do. Number one. All right. Here we go. Lamar Jackson expected to play this week. Nice. Against Buffalo. Double nice. Yeah. Matthew Golden. I don't know if he's going to play. We're going to preview that game later. They've got Carolina on Thursday. Matthew Golden has foot and shoulder issues. And we're going to cross our fingers. Hope he gets in a practice today. The C San Francisco 49ers acquired DeForest Buckner defensive tackle from the Colts for a 4th round pick. The Seahawks acquired Quentin Nelson, a 6 time pro guard from the Colts for a 3rd and 5th round picks. Big stuff. Just 6 time. Just 6. 6 all pro 8 pro bowls. Ah. It's thinking pro bowl. Yeah. It's happened yesterday too. Yeah. Six time. He's good. It doesn't matter. You just know that he's like one of the best guards of the league. Yeah. He's awesome. That's awesome that he's going to Seattle where they're going to split running the ball three ways amongst three backs. That'll be cool. That backfield is a mystery for sure. Uh, right now Adam Schefter is saying that the Colts ownership doesn't want to trade Jonathan Taylor. He his, I think he said like if he had a guess Taylor wouldn't be traded, but certainly still a possibility for Taylor to get traded. So, you know, if see, let me see you with Seth McGowan's roster percentage now. And it'll go up even a little bit more tonight's and into tomorrow morning. Right now he's 33% rostered. Hello, Jamie. Good morning. Good. Okay. Jamie, do you stay home for Halloween to give out candy still? No, we usually go to friend's house. Got it. Do you leave a call? And you're not worried about like coming home to like your house covered in eggs and toilet paper. No, no. No, we leave candy out. So hopefully people are respectful. Let's just take an appropriate amount. Okay. Seth McGowan is the most added running back right now up. Up to 33% from 15% the most added player right now is the bangles DST. The bangles DST. Speaking of the bangles, Titan Eric all is on IR likely with a torn ACL, not Isaiah likely, Eric all likely as a torn ACL. And if it's true, he that would be his third torn ACL on his right knee. That's horrible. Jamie Tyrone Tracy Jr. on IR. That was a surprise to me. Devon Singletary expected to play more. They have their buy than at Philadelphia, Washington, Jacksonville at Indianapolis. Those are the games that Tyrone Tracy Jr. is going to miss. And should we pick up Singletary and how big of a boost is this for Scatabo? Well, I mean, hopefully he's healthy. You know, he may not be able to play in week nine. That's a huge thing to keep an eye on. So Singletary is a must at, you know, I think if we were reordering the list from yesterday, I would probably go McGowan still won. Might put Singletary to K-line Black 3, just because it sounds like McCaffrey is going to be okay. We just don't know with Scatabo. So the giants, you know, they seem inclined to want to use both running backs last week with Tracy and Scatabo before Tracy got hurt. So I'm guessing that Singletary, we know we haven't seen Scatabo playing a lot of obvious passing out situation. So Singletary definitely has a history there. They're going to have to bring in somebody. And this is clearly one of the teams that's in the Jonathan Taylor discussions as well. Yeah, maybe they'll bring Naji Harris. No, just kidding. More news and notes. And then we'll get into the by-laws and the cell highs. Arizona signed. Why do you think he's a high class scumbag says that's not alphabetical. Hey, just to put it out there after the Tracy injury was Scatabo at 56%. That's what it meant. Singletary at 44% last week. And Singletary had just a slight edge on third downs. I think there's a spot for Singletary and fantasy at this point. Yeah. And getting ahead of it isn't the worst idea. If we buy into what the Colts are saying. McGowan won't be a thing until Taylor, you know, gets hurt or something and then he decides he's just not going to play. Maybe Singletary could be the better ad in that case. Yeah. And he's 9% rostered. 9%. 9%. I don't remember being rostered in 9% of leagues. Raven's right guard. Venga, Yawane is going to miss time with a sprained MCL and Micah Parsons for the Packers could practice this week. I've got some stats on the Packers. I'll just give them now because there's some teams where, you know, you're really relying on heavy pass volume. And the Packers, they're sixth and pass attempts per game. And you're going, well, is that going to change? I think the draw numbers suggest that probably not. So they're sixth and pass attempts per game, but they're only 23rd in points per game. And they've left so many points on the board just based on drops. They have the most drops in football. I did a day of I'll do the who has more with you that I did with Jamie yesterday. Who has more drops? Matthew Golden through weeks one through seven, or any other wide receiver in the previous 10 years from weeks one through seven. I'm going to take the field on that one. I'm going to say that there's been a receiver out there that's had more drops in golden. Good for you. Yes. Amari Cooper had a year and Michael Crabtree the following year. But I believe Matthew Golden has the most drops for the first seven weeks of the season in eight seasons. And it's not just him. It's like ton of drops as Heath said on Sunday night. Jordan love. There was a very dropable ball. It's so good. But the Packers are first in pass rate. Their 19th in plays per game. But the thing is there are 11th in defense. So I don't you know, it's not like they've been horrible on defense. And that's why they're passing. I just think that I think they're passing team. They expect them to probably pass less with Jacobs. But it is important. And it's specifically important for Tucker craft. Because Tucker craft has a 16.5% target share right around there. And that's really low. So he needs. If it's going to stay that way, he needs all the past volume. We'll talk about him in a little bit. Okay. A couple things you need to tune in for tomorrow. Tomorrow's show. I'm not going to tell you why right now tomorrow's show is going to be our worst show. One of our worst shows ever. You needed to. Are you crazy? You got to be there for it's a Terry's going to be a terrible show. And a lot of bad stuff. So just. We haven't had Heath on a week. Well, that's why it's not why that's not why it's going to be terrible. Yeah, really good. I can't wait for him to rebuttal. You'll see you'll just stay tuned for it. Horrible show. Really not looking forward to it. But I am looking forward to it at the same time. And then Sunday. You're confused. They have. Yeah, I have no idea. I mean, I'm not on Thursdays anymore. You're going to have to pop on for a few minutes. I'm like, you know, I can't hang with the cool kids, I guess. Yeah, well, uh, terrible show. Anyway, Sunday will be, will be great Sunday from 11 a.m. Oh, I know why it's going to be terrible. It is, right? You're right. Yep. Yes. Uh, Sunday is going to be, uh, you know, also that, not as terrible. But anyway, Sunday 11 to 1, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern, tune into youtube.com/fantasy football. Today you can also see Dave on CBS Sports HQ from noon to 1, uh, previewing games, talking football. But if you want to just get your start, sit questions answered, they do a little bit of that on HQ. We do a lot of that at youtube.com/fantasy football today, 11 to 1, no game in Europe and daylight savings time will be well rested for Sunday. I just want to add, it's not too late to send in your questions for this week's edition of reality versus fantasy Scott Turner and I looking for your questions. If you saw something in football this past week and you want to know the details of it, or if you've got a fantasy question that you think only a play call or like Scott Turner can answer, not too late, you can email me, you can even send me a note on X. We'll try and get it into this week's show. That'll drop later today on youtube. Yeah. I would like for you to ask him about the tight end stuff that we talked about. I am trying to figure out. Definitely going to ask him about the lion's offense against the Vikings defense. Oh, yeah. And that bear is seeing. It's going to be the first thing, right? Yeah, I mean, I'm sort of exploring a new metric for tight end coverage that, you know, it's basically, I've kind of referenced it, like do teams allow a lot of short area passes to be completed. Some teams feel like they're okay with it. Some teams like the Rams are not. So when I look at the metric I've been looking at is pass attempts of, I usually go with zero to seven area arts. Most tight ends live in that range and some teams are really good at defending that. And maybe those are the teams that we try to avoid. I mean, it's really, it doesn't come down to the type of coverage that they have. And if they're trying to defend against the deep ball, defenses are going to be happy to let the tight ends take the check down or the underneath row. And some quarterbacks, see, this is why I don't think it's necessarily just a defense thing. The scheme matters a lot, but it's also just the tendency of the quarterback. There are quarterbacks in this league. When they are pressured, they want to get that ball out of their hands as fast as possible. They're not trying to make like hero plays. Some do others don't. And when they are trying to check down as fast as possible, they're looking for the tight end because he's there. He's four yards downfield. And so I kind of feel like those are large factors as well compared to defenses that are just great at covering inside of seven areas. But if you watch the Rams tape in the way they defended Michael Mayer, it's true. Very high opening to me, including again, their ability to have their defensive ends or their line edge rushers, drop back into coverage and do a really good job. Right. But do they do that every time? Is that what we used to do all the time? Right. Those guys are primarily pass rushers, not coverage guys. No, but it was it was a tool that they used, I would say it is. That's fair. All right. Let's do some bio-low and some cell high. Jamie, you're buying low on Stefan digs and Chase Brown. Someone actually asked, should we sell high on Stefan digs? And I think I know where they're coming from. And I can see both sides of the coin here on digs. But a long story short on digs, heavily targeted when he's on the field, seven to nine targets in four or five games, six or more targets in all five games. This year though, probably just small sample size noise. But one of the least efficient wide receivers in the NFL, yards per target, yards per catch, yak, that kind of stuff. So where are you at on Stefan digs right now? Well, first off, I'm not saying bio-low or cell high anymore. Because our audience is too smart and we're not going to trick people. It's just not, it's just silly to say those phrases. So we're going to say trade for and trade away. I'm going to trade for Stefan digs because I think what we're seeing is big opportunity for him coming. Whether his role changes or not, you know he's going to get those chances. And I think that's something that you want to acquire. Remember, he's on a lot of people's benches. I have Stefan digs in probably about five of my 29 leagues. And clearly did not play him last week. And there's probably three or four of those leagues where I can't even get him into my lineup. So if I'm a wide receiver needy team, I'm going to try and see if I get Stefan digs off somebody's bench. Because again, there's a big opportunity coming for him where he should be productive. Now you are still trying to acquire a 30 plus year old wide receiver who is not going to be the type of guy that's going to, as you just alluded to, play on every snap, play on every down beat, you know, that alpha that his role would suggest or his opportunity would suggest. But I think you're going to get the production of a top 20 caliber type of guy. So they're going to use Chigo Conco, they're going to use Antonio Williams, they're going to use Traylon Berks, they're going to make all these guys sort of, they're going to make them involved. But digs is still the one that is going to be the most productive. And so if you can get him at a relatively cheap cost because you're not trying to acquire a top 15 caliber wide receiver, you're looking at a guy that, again, our audience is the smart fantasy player, knows that digs is headed for a bump. So you might have to pay to a certain extent, but you don't think you have to overpay for digs. And so that's the type of player I think that can help you in the stretch run. I love how Jamie said, I've got him in five of 29 leagues and there's zero exaggeration. Like Jamie's actually in 29 leagues. If I was wearing a cap, I would tip it toward you. Seven or more targets in four or five games. The target per route run rate first to find digs this year has been at least 21% in every single game. So you can overlook the fact that he's only running around 70% of the time. Sometimes it's been even less than that. Sometimes it's been closer to 50% and he's still getting a lot of work. The commanders say that they're not going to change his role. So I would expect that to continue. And that means that that target volume should stay steady. Do you, Jamie, view digs as a top 24 receiver right now? When you're trading for him, are you expecting him? And you kind of talked about this. You said that he was kind of in that top 20 range, I believe. Do you think that he's amongst the top 24 rest of season? Yes. Okay. I've got him a little bit lower than that on the trade chart, but it doesn't mean that I like the idea of trading for him if you need a receiver because he'll come at a pretty cheap price. It's an interesting question, top 24, and by the way, when Jamie said he had Stefan digs in five of his 29 leagues, I had this, we call that a five 29 plan joke, cute up. But I didn't really, you know, it was just, you know, you got to go back to joke school for that one. Thank you. Is he a top 24 wide receiver? Right now, wide receiver 23 per game is Justin Jefferson. Wide receiver 24 per game is Jalen Koker. 25 is Jamo. George Pickens is 26. Stefan digs is time. It's hurting my heart. It's 26. It's a good year right now for wide receivers, but he's already just, I mean, he's basically wide receiver 24 per game right now. And if he gets seven targets per game and has 119 target pace, then he will, it is hard not to be a top 24 right. That's always a number. If you think back to the position previews where I looked at guys who come out of the like round seven or later range and are, and are really good for fantasy the best picks, almost all of them average seven or more targets per game. It's a huge number. And he's been that in four of five games. And that was with Terry McClaren. And we are going to take a commercial break. And when we come back, you know, it's funny, Jamie, you sent, I sent the email by low sell high. You sent it back trade four and trade away. And I said, that's weird. Jamie used the wrong terminology, but he didn't. It's a new, it's a new day on fantasy football. I mean, like we're saying by low sell high, like we say it all the time, then we get always push back on who's giving these guys away or how are we getting these players? Like it just doesn't make sense to just phrase it that way. And you could always add players who are doing well on the trade four list, even if their stock is high. It doesn't mean that you, you know, buying low to Jamie's point suggests that we're getting players at a discount. Sometimes buying high isn't a bad idea if you believe the player is going to do great. I love Bucky Irving's rest of season schedule. I think it's going to be great. Should we go over some trades after the break, Adam? Not really. We got to move along. But yes, Jamie, the only thing I would say with, with trade four and trade away is what about SEO? We'll be right back on fantasy football today. Jamie's also interested in acquiring Chase Brown, who, you know, one of the things we're going to do today a little bit is look at rest of season schedules. Dave and I kind of disagreed on his rest of season schedule. I had it as a good schedule. Very good. You think so? Okay. Oh my gosh, yes. Okay. Go ahead. Give us your case for Chase Brown. Well, I mean, starting this week, Tennessee's run defense. I don't think it's going to be very good at all as we just saw Quinch on Duckins run right through them. So the hope would be is that the workload that we saw, and I saw somebody post this on Twitter, when he ran into Patrick Queen in the game last week, and Queen got injured, I think it's Patrick Queen. And he got injured. Am I getting there? Got your Queens on the stealers. Yeah, why am I getting there on? Who do you run into? Who do you run into? Somebody else. But I saw the same thing. He ran in real cost math. Excuse me. And Smith got injured. That's when he came off the field for some magic P.R.I. I don't know if he got banged up in that collision also. And so that's when he got the goal line chance as well for P.R.I. So I'm hoping that what we saw from Brown last week coming off their by week, they really tried to run the ball early in that game. They didn't have the ball very often. We were sitting there watching the game, but why are they trying to run the ball so much? And then they come out in the second half and it was just the drill borrower show. So this is not an offense, I think that's going to challenge their team very much. And I think that's kind of the sentiment for the schedule moving forward. Like they don't face a lot of very good offenses the rest of the way. And so I think just starting with this week, this is an opportunity for chase brown to get going. It's been the same scenario every year for him the last couple of years where he gets going at this point in the season. So hopefully that carries over as well. That's not something you want to count on. I'm looking at the rest of season schedule. Their opponents are very easy and this is an opportunity to buy into chase brown before he takes off which will happen this week. Okay. Chase Brown is a player to trade for. Dave wants to trade for a mecca of buka and Ramandre Stevenson. I just think that they're the best players at their positions on their respective teams of buka coming off the concussion. I think people are smart enough to recognize that a buka has been hitting his groove and once he comes back, hopefully with Baker Mayfield that target share stays up and that Tampa Bay still has a rushing a passing presence not like what they had last week against Carolina. And a buka will cost you more than a Stefan digs would. He might even cost you more than a chase brown at this point in the season. But I think that he can be a good number two wide receiver rest of the year. Ramandre Stevenson. I just think that he's locked in as they're passing down his back, their goal line back. No matter what other games they play with Travian Henderson and Corey Keiner. I think he's got that role on lock and he'll still get carries on top of it. This has nothing to do with what he did against Chicago and that fluky play for a touchdown. I think it has to do with a good role on a Patriots team that will be in plenty of competitive games and they're fairly committed to running the ball. I've got some a mecha buka trades that actually went down in CBS sports leagues. I got a buka for Quinch on Judkins, a mecha buka for Ali Gordon. Both fair. I think a buka is worth more than both, but the Gordon trade is pretty fair on the trade chart. Again, this is what you have to do when you're trading running backs, you have to overpay. I think it's a huge overpay. No, it's not. To me, that's fair deals. I like the Gordon deal better. Here's one. Well, here's one that I love and one that I don't think I love. I love Michael Wilson for a mecha buka. Love it. I don't know why anyone would do that and I don't love. You got to get a trade Wilson away. Giving up DJ Moore to get a mecha buka. I'd rather have more, but I don't know. I mean, I don't love DJ Moore's schedule. We've got Minnesota coming up. So week eight is Baltimore. That's good. Then we've got Minnesota. We've got Miami. They're third best against receivers because everyone just runs on them. Kansas City is like fourth best against receivers. The Patriots have Christian Gonzales who didn't see DJ Moore. He was out the first game. The Bears have been great against wide receivers and Denver. He's got Sir Tan and week 16 and then Miami again and week 17. I would say on paper, DJ Moore is one of the worst schedules going forward. I'm just kind of noticing this now. Man, if DJ Moore is a big game this week against Baltimore, if you've been plays, right? That's part of the problem too. I'd rather have a book. Maybe I'm okay. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm wrong. All right. When you go to your leagues, do you just open up the roster? Go ahead and say who has more? All right. So that's DJ Moore. That's excuse me. I'm echo buka. I'm not just even some go to our sell highs or our players to trade away. Dave is saying Michael Wilson and Jonathan Taylor. We start with Wilson, who great match up. And then it's Seattle. It's the Rams. It's the chiefs. Then a buy, then the Vikings. This might be a good time this week, next week, to just remove all Cardinals from your roster. And I know that Wilson had this huge opportunity. It hasn't worked out the way that we hoped. You shouldn't expect to get a lot for Michael Wilson. And so to Jamie's point, again, this is not a sell high. This is a trade away. This is a sell. This is just somebody who find somebody who needs a receiver this week and will give you something decent for Wilson, hoping that Wilson comes through for a big game against Dallas any might. And then don't expect much from Wilson the rest of the way. He's not been able to beat James and that's been the problem the last three weeks. I kind of break up Michael Wilson's schedule is like, you know, he's had this horrible stretch. He gets a reprieve this week with Dallas. And then as you mentioned, Seattle Rams chiefs, that's terrible. If you can get through that Washington, Philadelphia, by week, Jets, Saints, Raiders, I think is a pretty favorable schedule to end it. That being said, he played Detroit three weeks ago and had four catches for 30 yards on seven targets. But I don't know, Dave, if you could easily look this up because you're good with with this stat stuff, depends what you got. I talked about it with digs. If you get seven targets per game, you're usually really good. This guy has gotten seven targets or more in every single game. He has 66 targets in seven games so far. He's got to be among the leaders in targets per game. So it's almost like the odds are stacked in his favor, just because of all the target volume. And I'd like to know how many wide receivers have averaged seven or more targets per game and not scored at least, let's say 13 PPR fantasy points or let's say 14 PPR fantasy points because that's the top 24 receiver right now in a season. Yeah. I don't know if we could look that up. I can try. Yeah. I might need more than a minute for that. It's okay. It's okay. But he gets the targets. It's just they're not he's not doing that well with them. They also throw 40 times a game. All right. And then Taylor. Yeah. What's what you thought on Jonathan Taylor here? Well, the Colts are saying that they're not going to they don't want to trade Jonathan Taylor. I don't know why they wouldn't unless they're just not getting done offers. Well, we say that, but I don't know if it's going to happen. And because I don't know that it's going to happen, I can't say it with the same confidence you're saying. Maybe you know, uh, Carly, Ersei Gordon, uh, and you're reading her notebook and you know these things. I don't know these things. If if they end up trading him, sure, he's going to be great. If they don't, we know the track record of Jonathan Taylor on bad Colts teams when they're not winning games. We haven't quite seen that this year because they've lost their fair share games and he's done mostly well in all those games. And this isn't a get him off your team. I don't feel the same way about Taylor as I do Michael Wilson. But I do wonder if you're going to get less form and trade after week nine when they don't trade them away. And he's locked into the Colts for the rest of the year. And then the types of things that we've talked about before with running backs on bad teams where they have a hang now. And then they don't plan a game in that extent. So the rest of the year where the team, obviously with the intention of keeping them long term, we'll just want to put him in bubble wrap and not have them play. That's the case for Seth McGowan to be on rosters right now. But if they, if they hang on to him and for now, it sounds like that's their plan. Question mark. Then I don't, I don't know if he's going to be able to return the value that you'd want. So if you've got Taylor and I've got him in a couple of leagues, I might be inclined to see what I could get for him. I'm not going to give him away the same charity. I'm trying to see if I can get what would be close to first round value for Jonathan Taylor. All right, I've got some Jonathan Taylor trades from our leagues. I could share this page, but it's visually not. Don't share the page. It's so awful. But it works. Jonathan Taylor for Brock backwards. Oh, rip off much of that. Really? I don't, I don't think it's, it's a rip off. I still think you can get a little bit more. Again, position scarcity. There, there is the chance that Taylor gets traded. Jamie, you're, you're confident that he will. I, I think that Taylor carries a little bit more value than Brock. Yeah. I'm surprised to hear you say that because you got the Mendoza factor. Just don't know how that's going to play. Yeah, I don't think the Mendoza factors. I mean, it's, you know, it powers. It's just been blessed with such a great quarterback play so far. She just don't know how it's going to look like we know. You also don't know if Taylor goes to a team that already has a running back in place where he's going to share it to some capacity. Oh my gosh. That would be, that would be ridiculous. I mean, I hope that doesn't happen. You, if you acquire Jonathan Taylor and you don't make him, uh, basically a workhorse, I mean, they could take him off the, he plays a lot on third down. He gets four targets a game. So that, you know, that could change. Um, everything, anything could change. There's, okay, fine. There's some question marks on either side. Uh, let's see. This is, uh, Bazel Tutten and Malik neighbors for Devonte Smith and Jonathan Taylor. I would do that rather than the two inside. Yeah. I mean, I think I would too because we, we don't know about Devonte Smith. Absolutely. He was a tough one on the trade chart this week. I didn't know how low to move him. Uh, how about Matthew Golden and Breeze Hall for Jonathan Taylor and Jordan Love? You get Hall and Golden. You give up Taylor and Love. I think the Taylor side is higher. Rather, I've fallen golden at this point. Uh, interesting. You know, I don't, not love in my Breeze Hall right now. In fact, Jamie, I got a trade offer out for you. Yeah. I don't like that trade. I'm giving you, uh, why it's not that bad. Jordan Love and I say it was bad. I just don't like it. Jordan, you should love it. Jordan Hall, Jordan Love and Breeze Hall for DeAndre Swift. I think you should love it. Uh, all right. Jamie, let's talk about players you want to trade away. Tony Pollard and Chris Olave. Interesting. All right. Olave, I just want to say one game. I think it was the Giants game. He had four for 43 on a touchdown on seven targets. Uh, he was, I think he was sick that week. He didn't play that many snaps. But it's 46, 43 and 56 yards in his last three games against Minnesota at the Giants, who are number one wide receiver slayers, apparently, and Pittsburgh. All right. So Olave, um, Jonathan Taylor or Olave, - Oh, a lot based on. - A lot they over Taylor? - Yeah. - Me, oh my. - It's really close. I think I'd rather have, I think you can get more for Taylor and Trade. - I'm just nervous that Taylor goes to a situation that's slightly worse or potentially much worse because he's not gonna be using that passing thus. You think about what he was prior to the last two years and he was great leading the NFL and Russian yards but does not evolve into passing him. - Yeah, that was like kind of an Anthony Richardson thing in one year but all right. So, and anything else you want to say about Ilave? - Again, you're not giving him away. You're just trying to maximize the value for someone that could take a little bit of a step back if there is the addition of Tyson and Veile still has a role and Joanne Johnson still has a role. So, Chuck is right now top five in pass attempts. I don't think that's gonna dramatically change 'cause the run game is probably still gonna stink even with Travis H and coming back. But trying to turn him into an elite player, elite for elite, great for great. Whatever you wanna label these guys, like that's the type of move you can make and you could turn him hopefully into a potential starting running back. - Have you thought it all about, I wanna go back to Taylor. Have you thought it all about the teams you wish Taylor could go to? Like, if you could put, if you had to do a like- - I mean, if you're, it's maybe. - If my guess is, - Okay, I'm just wondering. - My guess is the Seattle scenario is not gonna happen because why would they just trade Nelson there and then not make it some sort of a package deal or just totally, both two for two or whatever the case may be. It's probably the giants of the Vikings at this point just based on the rumors. And so, I would love to see him in Minnesota 'cause I think he just pushes the other two guys to the bench. Probably the same thing for the giants because it doesn't seem like they're stuck on Scatiboo. But, I don't know. I just think anywhere he goes right now from where the season started, where you drafted him, it's just a continued sliding-scale downward. - The giants have traded a few mid-round picks already. Like, they traded for JJ McCarthy. I think they don't have a fourth or a fifth-round pick. So, I'd be a little-- - For 27. - Yeah, I think so. - But they could trade 28 picks. - I'll be sure. - Yeah, they could. Yeah. I mean, they make sense. So, Minnesota makes sense. I wouldn't mind to see Denver in there. - They don't have their third, or no, they do have their third. It's fourth-fifth that they don't have. - Yeah. - Okay. - Look, obviously you could stay, but staying also is bad for him. - I think that's our trade talk for now. Did you talk about-- You didn't talk about Tony Pollard. - Yeah, again, just maximizing value for somebody that had his best game of the season, which I don't think is gonna be close to replica ball. He's gonna still be in the number two running back range. So, you can see what his production has been, but look, should have had four touchdowns. It was amazing performance, and I hope he continues to be involved in the passing game. That's kind of been the formula for success. Every game that he's had at least two receptions, he's been 13 PPR points or more. So, keep that going, Tennessee. But this is just a bad team. I'm surprised he's not getting some trade talk also, just because-- - There's been. - Well, you just don't hear it. There's no buzz for, hey, we gotta go to Tony Pollard. Like, if you're, again, Minnesota, the Giants, any of these teams that are in the market for it, he's gonna cost significantly less. And maybe he's not an upgrade over Jordan Mason, Aaron Jones, maybe he's not an upgrade over Scottaboo. But maybe he is just another piece of the puzzle for a team that's looking to add some, you know, running back out wouldn't be surprised if the Titans move him. - Would you trade Tony Pollard for a Mecca Buka DJ more? - Yes. - Yeah. - To get those receivers? - Yes. - And digs, yeah, same thing. Yeah, he's very low on the trade chart. - Interesting, okay. So, Dave's got some notes. Dave already told you that in 2025, there were 27 wide receivers with seven or more targets per game and 10 of them did not score 14 or more PPR fantasy points, that's a lot. The year before though, not quite as bad, there were 38 wide receivers who had seven or more targets per game and 10 of them did not get to 14 points per game. So that's 28 of 38 that did get to 14 or more points per game. - You know what? - Seven or more, yeah. - That includes everybody in the league. That's not just wide receivers. - Oh, okay. - You want just the wide receiver specifics? - No, it's okay, I mean, it's the same. I mean, it's gonna be about the same thing. - All right, thanks for that info. And we'll be right back. We gotta talk about schedules. We gotta do, we gotta tweets with by-laws and cell highs. The Thursday night game and more. Hopefully, grade your trades at the end. We'll be right back. - There's the guy you are right now and there's the guy you know you could be. New episode drops where I am dressed up in a pretty serious costume. We had a lot of fun. And then I had to go to Times Square in that costume and people thought I was like a person who works in Times Square, dresses up as characters. Yeah, good schedules, bad schedules. And I think this is important, Dave, I'm sorry, but you're saying that only eight of 33 wide receivers in 2024, who averaged seven or more targets per game, didn't reach 14 points per game. - Yep. - So I think last year was such a bad year for wide receivers, but the two years before that, about 75% of wide receivers or players who averaged seven or more targets per game reached 14 PPR fantasy points per game. And that's a really solid number. So keep that in mind. - It was nine out of 24 in 2025. - Nine out of 24. That was just wide receivers, okay. - I mean, yeah, I mean, it's basically the same numbers I gave you before. There weren't enough tight ends to kind of tilt that. - Yeah. - One way or the other. - All right, good schedules. You know, I kind of try to make this a little bit more general and not, I don't know, things can change so much with position value versus different positions. Sorry, opponents versus different positions. So I looked for Dallas and Arizona and Las Vegas and the Giants for passing games and who else, Washington, Tennessee. And basically Chicago, I think is a great schedule rest of season. Denver, Minnesota, I think Tennessee. I think Carnell Tate, if we look at his schedule. Carnell Tate has beginning in week 13, Washington, Detroit, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, then Pittsburgh in week 17. But that's a great stretch. He's got Dallas in there before that. Could be a little tricky. The thing with wide receiver is there are three teams that are doing horribly against wide receivers that I don't know if I should include them. And that's Houston, Jacksonville and Philadelphia. 'Cause you could see for a number one wide receiver why that would be tough. They have corner backs and Travis Hunter and Quinion Mitchell and Derek Stingley, that could do work. But those three, so I didn't really include them in the list, Philadelphia, Houston and Jacksonville. But they are so far dreadful against wide receivers. So Carnell Tate stands out to me. Yeah, the Bears passing game, I think. Like they got Seattle this week. They get Tampa Bay next week. They get a buy. That's kind of a tough stretch. New Orleans, Detroit, Jacksonville, Miami, Buffalo, Green Bay, Detroit to finish. After their week 11 buy, Holy Cow, wheels up for the Bears offense. Wait, am I right here? They're week 10 buy. After the week 10 buy, week 11 on for the Bears. Wow, it looks great. At running back, Chase Brown stood out to me. The Seahawks guys, the maybe Travis HM, look at Travis HM down the stretch. And he's got Green Bay, Carolina, Tampa Bay is tough. Arizona, Atlanta, it's pretty favorable, even before that. I mean, the Saints, I think, have a pretty good run schedule going forward. And maybe, well, they have Tampa in week 15. That's going to be tough. But yeah, Arizona and then Atlanta in the fantasy semi and finals is pretty good. Jeremiah Love has a good schedule. If he can get things going, beginning in, I'd say, maybe week 12 or 13, Washington hasn't been as good against the run. But forget them, Eagles have been bad lately. Buy a week in week 14, Jets, Saints, Jets, Saints, Raiders in the fantasy playoffs for Jeremiah Love. Now, I have no idea what his role is going to be. But those were the good schedules that stood out to me. Dave, anything to add? I'd have to go through some of my notes to double check on that. But I agree with most of what you're saying. Just keep in mind the injuries that are going to occur. Of course, but you know, I tried to. Like, I mean, obviously, there's things that can change and make a good defense turn to do to pretty quickly. The Rams are an example of that. We all thought that the Rams were going to be a terrible nightmare matchup before the season started. And then they took on a bunch of injuries. When those guys get healthy, it's going to go back to being theoretically a very difficult matchup. 49 years are about to get nasty. Yeah, their pass rush just got a lot better with Buckner. Yeah, there are. [BLANK_AUDIO] - Right. - Yeah, all right, but bad schedules. I don't love it for AJ Brown. And that sort of depends on how you feel about Miami. - Yeah, I'm with you on this one. - Well, actually, I think he plays Miami in week 18. So, but he plays him this week. - Great, I'll be lounging by then. - Yeah, he plays him this week. But AJ Brown has Miami this week. They're third best against receivers because only two receivers have more than six targets against them. But whatever, I don't think I'm sitting him. Then Green Bay, which is great, Detroit, which is great, then a buy, Chargers, Bills, everything's looking great. Like, it's fine for the next five or six weeks. After that, Minnesota at Kansas City, they're second best against wide receivers. Have they faced anyone just JSN and he was great. So I don't know. But they, you know, they're Kansas City. Jets Denver. I mean, it's three of the last four games for Minnesota, Kansas City, Denver. I don't know if that's enough for you to be like, I don't want AJ Brown. I think he's a decent bio-low right now. But it's not easy. Drake London has a bad schedule. I talked about this last week. You know, I don't know how much it matters to me. So, see how much it matters to you. But he's got Tampa Bay twice. They've been phenomenal against the pass. He's got Cincinnati, which has a shutdown, you know, a very good corner. He's got Kansas City. He's got a bio-week. He's got Minnesota. You know, there's some good matchups in there too. Detroit, Cleveland, Washington, at least two of those are good. But it's mostly bad matchups plus a buy for Drake London. Is that Jamie? It's a much better schedule for Kyle Pits. Just as far as like fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Like, there's Minnesota. And then I don't know if there's anybody else that makes you really scared plus. The role has changed for Kyle Pits. And he's much more of a short area target anyway. So I don't know if matchups matter as much. They're using them in the red zone at time. I, this is a, this is a player you could theoretically trade for. Even though the cost is going to be more than what it was a couple of weeks ago. Jamie, when I give you that schedule for Drake London, Tampa Bay twice, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Minnesota. Does that do anything? Negative positive or negative? I mean, if you're, if you're looking to acquire him and you're trying to acquire him by comparison to somebody else that has a more favorable schedule, it's in the same range, you know? So you're looking at neighbors in Olave and CDLAM, you know, those type of receivers 'cause he's in the top six, seven, eight conversation. That should maybe sway what you're trying to give up for him. But I mean, look, Drake London's going to make plays against everybody. You know, he may not have 20 PPR points against the Vikings, but probably still have 13 or 14, you know? So good players, show up. - I have a drink over nine targets per game in his past four. - I think if you look at the Vikings, this is going to be a really important week for assessing them rest of season. 'Cause they are the worst matchup in fantasy, I'd say. But they've only faced one good team offense. Well, I'm sorry, they faced the Packers and Week 1. Packers did okay against them. They faced the Bears and Week 2. How much of that was their defense? How much of that was the bad weather? I don't know, but they did a great job against the Bears who were coming off a 59 point game in Week 1. So since then, their schedule's been cake. Garrett Wilson is a guy who's pretty good for the next, I mean, the matchups are great for like the next five weeks mostly. I mean, I don't mark up around. - What's that? - It's going to mark up around the room. - Yeah, well, sure. But then specifically for Garrett Wilson, his last four games are the Broncos in Patrick's or Tan, the Cardinals, the Patriots in Christian Gonzales and the Vikings. Like Omar Cooper Jr., being a 55% slot rate guy, he's not getting Sir Tan, he's not getting Christian Gonzales. So that is Garrett Wilson. I think he's got right now, if everyone's healthy, maybe the worst late season schedule, just because of the number one corner is that he's facing. - Yeah, and I mean, again, just to play Devils Advocate, Sir Tan's missed what, three games now. And because I was already at one, I can't, I have to do this segment. I've gotten a lot of questions. - Well, I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying, you're gonna put some actionable items for people of making trades and that they have on their team, maybe trading those guys away because they're scared. And I think you just, you have to caution a little bit in that, yes, it looks bad on paper to a certain extent. It also may not be the same way when we're talking week 15, 16, 17. - It may not. I don't really know what to do with that. I mean, for example, a quarterback could get hurt, and why would I trade for a wide receiver? - Correct, yeah. - Just gonna tell me, like a little court, you know, so. - But I'm just telling you, like there's actual, real life things that have happened, Sir Tan's hurt, and Gonzales has missed the game. I know, but they're both gonna be back. Like Gonzales is back and Gonzales gets the game. - Agreed, but that's the point, though, is like, it just may not be exactly that, and to be fair, Denver's defense has played very well without Sir Tan. - Yeah, and they did last year or two years ago whenever he got hurt as well. Carol, and by the way, Patrick Sir Tan doesn't necessarily mean Garrett Wilson can have a good game. He had a terrible game against him last year, but Davante Adams was one on one against Patrick Sir Tan for basically an entire night. And he had one of his best games in recent memory. - He's not about the Hall of Famers, though, with Stafford on this. - Yeah, I would fear Garrett Wilson against Sir Tan in this environment. Caroline is at Green Bay. I will save time for your bilo and sell high tweets, but Caroline is at Green Bay. There's a knife in there. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Are we starting everyone in this game? Except for the tight ends for the Panthers. - And the DSTs? - Yeah, yeah. This has been your Thursday night preview. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - I think we got a little worried about, should have a little worried about Bryce Young. - I agree, I'm playing around. I still have him as a low end starter. - Same, but you've, go ahead. - We've seen some up and down performances from him, mostly when he's been under pressure and the Packers have been the best at that. They've shown up at times, but not fantastic. And for what it's worth, Jordan Love, through 45 times last week, he still got over his threshold of 30 pass attempts or more. It's now 21 of 32, I believe, in his career with 30 more pass attempts, so 20 more fantasy points. But I think you just look at it. You say, you trust what Bryce Young has done the majority of the season and you trust what Jordan Love has done the majority of the season. And then that just to trickle down to the receivers and everybody else. - If there was ever a team that had the tackle depth to absorb their starting right tackle, having a fractured fibula, would actually end up being the Panthers. Because remember, they began the year with both backup tackles starting for them. And so now they've got their first round rookie replacing Taylor Moton and I think that that's okay. I'm keeping it on the Damian Lewis injury at left guard. He's been a really good run blocker and pass protector. And if he's not there, that will make the day worse for Bryce Young, but they've got to be expecting it at this point. In fact, Dave Canal has even mentioned it immediately after their game against Tampa. He knows that defenses are gonna try and emulate what the Bucks did to try and harass Bryce Young and make it an ugly game. The secondary for Green Bay has played mostly well. They've especially been good as far as EPA per dropback against slot receivers. So maybe you downgrade expectations a little bit for Jalen Coker, but I have a hard time finding 20 other receivers that I'd rather start ahead of Jalen Coker. Mick Millan's gonna be one of those guys that would start ahead of Jalen Coker. And then you just have to keep for the Packers, you just have to keep an eye on Matthew Golden. If he practices on Wednesday, it should be fine for the game. And you start him with maybe a little lower expectations than normal, hopefully he hangs onto the ball if he plays. So we're not starting Jacobi Preset or Kirk Cousins or any waiver wire guy over Bryce Young. - I would start Cousins over you. - You would. - He's in that mix, it's really close between them. I wouldn't blame you if you did or didn't. I'm sorry, I would start Preset over him as well. - Interesting. - Yeah, I don't have Preset over him. I've got Cousins and for now I have Gino over Bryce Young too. The Packers are fifth best against quarterbacks. That is mostly a schedule thing. They faced a lot of backups. - Yeah, and they did great against Dac Prescott. He had 13 points on 50 pass attempts. Jared Goff last week scored 23 points. Carson Wentz in the week one scored 23 fantasy points. Six point per passing touchdown league. So the only good quarterback that struggled against the Packers was Dac Prescott, but they're not giving up huge games. I mean, no one scored more than 23.2 fantasy points, I believe, against the Packers. So that's Bryce Young, but I love this stat. Before last week, Bryce Young had thrown for 280 or more yards in every game. That's really impressive. - He was, I believe it was one of four quarterbacks in the last 15 years. I think Profit Buffalo, 'cause I read this on, I said this on one of our shows when it happened. One of four quarterbacks in the last 15 years to go for 280 and one in each of their first five games. And it was like Rogers, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees were the other three. - Okay. - So Chuba Hubbard, Chuba Hubbard and Josh Jacobs. - Thank you so much to go Hubbard, but Jacobs has got a better matchup. I mean, the Panthers have just been absolutely abysmal. Two games so far this season, they have allowed over 200 yards rushing to the opposing team Tampa Bay last week in Chicago and week one. So there should be an opportunity for Jacobs to get some production on the ground. - Still should have fresh legs too. I'm not gonna love Hubbard quite as much if there's no Damien Lewis. I really think that he makes that big of a difference with that line. - The Packers' run defense is actually solid, not great, but it's solid. And they've given up the fifth most, sixth most fantasy points to running backs, but a lot of that was Bijan Robinson having a massive game. And then they faced Gibbs last week. He had 34 touches and he scored 19.3 points. I think it's like my feeling for this game is like, I think the big four guys of the Panthers have earned it. Like they've earned your trust. - Sure. a pretty high scoring game 47. and a half point total. So I think you start them. Obviously, you know, you could get away from young or whatever. But I think I'm a little less confident. You know, it's like, it's not gonna impact my decisions to start or sit Chuba Hubbard and the two receivers. They're basically must-start guys. But I'm a little nervous about it, a little nervous. - One of the viewers, if you were equating the panthers to like a real life situation, like they would be at the top box on the show. - What do you mean? - 'Cause they've earned it. - They've earned it, but no, because after last week, I think they're bumped down a little bit to the middle box. I'll be the panthers for this segment. All right, now I'm in the middle. Dave is gonna be the Packers. But Jordan Love must start guy. Well, no, I wouldn't say that. He's seventh to ninth in the rankings. He's throwing multiple, he's had multiple touchdowns, whether it's been passing or rushing in every game. And again, he's been robbed of fantasy points by dropped balls. It's pathetic at this point. Caroline is a fine matchup, but what do we do if Matthew Golden doesn't play Dave? What happens to Jordan Love right now? He's top nine in the rankings, but what if Golden doesn't play? - I think you still start Jordan Love. I wouldn't do anything drastic and move him into like the 15 range by any stretch. He still has Christian Watson. He still has Tucker Kraft. He still has Josh Jacobs, who made plays through the passing game last week. I think he'll be okay. You lower expectations a little bit if Golden. Even if Golden play, obviously there's a rankings adjustment to make with Golden in that case. But I don't think you pull love and you do something drastic like Kyler Murray or Michael Panick's ahead of him. - Jamie. - Inspiration play would be saving on Williams too. - Okay, there you go. - Yeah, he's been playing a lot more lately, it's true. - Christian Watson, Jamie, who scored 10.7 PPR points or less in three of his last four games. - Do we have any concerns here? - I mean, slightly. I think this is just one of those defenses where they are without their top two cornerbacks. So talented players like these two receivers should have an opportunity to make plays because they're gonna get so many chances down the field. So I think you still trust Christian Watson and Christian Watson is top 10 easily if there's no Matthew Gold. - What's the difference starter sit wise with Tucker Kraft with or without Matthew Gold and Jamie, you can start? - Starting in either way. - You'll have higher expectations if there's no Golden. - But he's a guy that makes me nervous. I mean, like, not really because I think he has such big upside every week. It's a neutral matchup so far. There've had, Panthers have had some really good games against tight ends, some bad games against tight ends. But this again, he has a 16.3% target share. That's really low. But that's a team in Green Bay that throws a lot. He's had at least seven targets in two of his last three games. He's had at least 8.7 PPR points. That's not the great floor, but it's at least halfway decent. He's had at least that much in each of his past three games. And Caroline is one of these teams that habitually plays cover three. So they're trying to keep their defenders back, they don't wanna give up the big play. And so they might have a safety down in the box a little bit more and they're certainly gonna do that to try and slow down Jacobs. I don't think they're gonna do it to try and slow down Tucker Kraft. I think he could get some good targets off of play action and continue to be at least a decent fantasy tied in. - All right, let's read some questions then to help us out here. Hey, one more thing. And I didn't mean to scare people off of Chewbobber by talking about Caroline's offensive line. I forgot about this. Zaire Franklin is one of the top run stoppers for Green Bay. Like low mistackle rate. He's good against the run. He has a hairline fracture. I don't believe he's playing. Excuse me. It's hard to play with a hairline fracture. Would you play Tucker Kraft or Harold Bannon Jr? - Do you have a hairline fracture in your throat? (laughing) - Sounds worse than that. He might just have a hair in his throat. I would go with Kraft over Fandon. - Kraft or LaPorta against the Vikings? - Kraft. - I have LaPorta higher for now. - Kraft or Hockinson in the best matchup from fantasy. - Kraft. - Kraft by a nose. - Kraft or Goddard at Washington? - Kraft. - K-R-A-F-T. - How about Kraft or Loveland at Seattle? - Loveland. Agreed. - Berset or Bryce Young from the chat? - Berset for me. I'll take Bryce. - Coker or DJ Moore? - Coker. - Coker. - Jacobs or Chase Brown? - Jacobs. - Jacobs. - Yeah, I remember that this is the arguably worst run defense in football he's facing. - I wouldn't expect the catch as he had a 16, 17% target share last week. That's extremely high for Josh Jacobs. But I expect some. I mean, I expect some work in a passing game. He also dropped the three. - Two or three. - Of course he did because he's a packer. Coker or burden or Jeremy Bernard? - Coker. - I will take, I believe I have burden over Coker, Coker or Bernard. - These are close between burden and Coker. - These are fun questions here. Coker Watson and Jacobs pick two. Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun. Go pack, go. - Oh, you're starting the packer? Okay. No, that way, do that again. Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun. Go pack, go. - Okay, yeah. - All right, all right. Coker golden or tootin, pick two. - I'm saying Coker. I would sit Coker, assuming golden place. If we hear about a snap count or something like that for golden, I might change my tune. - Caleb Williams at Seattle or Jordan Love? - Love. - Jordan Love. - Bryce Young or Jared Goff against the Vikings? - Young, young, young as of now. - Mel, I have this very decision to make and I'm nervous about it. Jordan Love or Lamar Jackson, I am gonna go with Lamar Jackson, but I am nervous about that. - I went to my number two quarter back this week, so I'd go Jackson. - I just don't know how healthy he is and we saw last year when Jackson played hurt. It was awful. But he referenced that. He basically said like, I don't wanna do that again. So I hope, you know. I think that might be why he didn't play last week. - Don't do that. - It's Buffalo. - All right. - And this is Buffalo. - And that, and sit the DSTs and that is Thursday night football. - No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - Don, don, don, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. - I hear you say, I don't really get this vibe from me, from Bata Bing Bata Boom. I bet Adam is secretly very good at karate. Do I give a karate vibe? - Yes. - Yes, say karate. - Karate. - Karate. - Yes, you look like your hands are lethal weapons. - Yeah. - Not a Christmas. - You should go watch that. - I mean, look at what you're doing to your shirts. - Go watch Jesse's karate movie. You'll feel, you'll feel very sympathy. - Yes. - He has a karate movie? - Yeah. Everybody else called. - There's gotta be a joke in here. - Yeah, it's called Jamie doesn't know the names of all of his cousin's movies. - Like what would a karate movie be called? Now you blank me. - Now you kick me. - Now you kick me. - The art of self-defense is the name of the men's it. - Yes. - 29 yabi. - It's actually very good. Very good movie. - Adam, I've always meant to see that one. - Well, Machio vibes, always causing problems. I don't appreciate that, but I do appreciate the fact that, yeah, I think at this point we've all seen it. We all know that Daniel Luruso was really, as much to blame as anyone for all the issues in karate kid. He was a little jerk. They were jerks first, but he really didn't have to do the shower thing. All right, tweets here. We have to run through this kind of fast. - I kind of want to quiz Jamie on Jesse's movie titles now. - That's a good game. Sounds R.S. says, "I would so high on likely and buy low on La Porta and craft." - I get that. Definitely buy low on La Porta. Practice still been very productive, so I don't know if you're buying low. But yeah, you can sell high on likely. - Why would you sell high on likely and what would you want to get for him? Is he not top four tight end rest of season? - He is. - And you can get it. - It has the potential to be, but quarterback change has been, okay, in the fourth quarter, terrible in the full game, from McCarthy. - Right. - It's true. - For likely, yeah. - And a lot of people drafted likely in the back half of fantasy drafts. They might have had a second tight end. - Or you might have picked up Hunter Henry or-- - Sure. - Do you want Johnson or any of these guys that have been streaming options for you? - This made an impact on the trade chart. There are so many tight ends that are like, I don't want to call them streamers because they've been pretty good for the most part. It's the Hunter Henry's. It's the TJ Hockinson's. It's the Chico Conquo's. Like these are guys that are going to be able to give you some solid PPR points, but they're out there on the waiver wire still in a bunch of leagues. And it kind of devalues what you would get in trade for, pits, crafts. I'm not talking about the elite tier tight ends. Those guys are studs. But even Tyler Warren is now in this conversation of guys who are, yeah, they're good and you might expect some good numbers, but you can just go to the waiver wire and find somebody who can get two or three points less. Yeah, likely isn't a part of that group either. Yeah, yeah, he could be, right? Like he could get worse for him. He's probably not that much better than Laporta and Craft for rest of season. So if you sold likely and got Laporta and got something else with it, it's probably a good trade, right? Yeah. Okay. It's going back to something we talked about earlier, ESPN reporting that now Tony Pollard believed to be more likely to be dealt than Jonathan Taylor. That's Dan Graziano. Oh, okay. Okay. Do you know the name of Jesse's movie where he played Mark Zuckerberg? I know that he's smart to not have taken the sequel. Do you know the name of the movie where he played a blue bird? Yes. Yeah, you're not saying the names of these movies. - Real one and real two. - Yeah, there was a sequel. - All right, I gotta ask some questions here. Dale Perez wants to know if we should sell high on Jalen Warren. - Yeah, I mean, you can get super star receiver for him. - Pretty close. But he wouldn't make my trade a way list. See, this is the difference between the two, I would say. Yeah, so you wouldn't move Jalen Warren unless you got a super star receiver. But most people who drafted Jalen Warren did not draft him as a must start guy. So if you have two other players that are playing well at the running backspot, you might be able, and your receiver suck, like you might be able to turn him into an operational on guy. - Someone on Twitter with a name that I can't pronounce says, "What are we doing with?" And it's just like a six letters that make no sense. What, I wouldn't say that, but. - Any one of the letters. - Trying to be offensive there. I just, I don't know what this means. - Are the letters offensive? - No. - The one of the letters. - I-S-A-H-O-M. - I can't believe you said that on that. - What are we doing with Devante Smith and Lad Maconkey? - Maconkey's gonna play this week. He practices on Monday, so he's trending in the right direction. And hopefully Devante Smith gets in some practice, but it doesn't seem likely at this point. - The problem is that if you trade those guys away, you're not gonna get anywhere close to what their values would be. Once they start to piece together, you're just at least being on the field and seeing seven plus targets. Like if they get to that point, their values will go up a little bit. And you know what the upside is, especially in the case of Smith, even with Tanner McKee, that he could be just like a really good fantasy receiver, not the best, but really good. - I have such conflicted feelings on that. Tanner McKee is averaging more passing yards per game than Jalen Hertz. And it's because he's just throwing so much more. And even if you remove a game where Hertz had like 93 yards against the Rams, he's still averaging more yards per game, barely than Jalen Hertz. And I did think that was going to happen. But when I watched McKee, if there is any semblance of a pass rush, he's going down. And the Cowboys don't have one. So I don't know if Washington, they don't really have one either, but eventually he's gonna face teams that do it. The schedule's great for the next five or six weeks for the Eagles and then Seattle, Houston, 49ers in the fantasy playoffs. So if you just want someone for the regular season, Davante Smith might be okay, but I have a big fear is about the Eagles passing game. And they just, I mean, they stink as a team. - Right, and so if they know they're tanking and Davante Smith is gonna be there for a while, do they do the bubble wrap? - Yeah, I think that's absolutely within the realm of possibility. - I mean, I put him in the top 24, but his value, like he used to be like way closer to the top 12, Davante Smith. - I'm gonna make a joke and I feel like it's mean and I don't usually do this. - Then why would you do this? - I'm gonna make it, I'm gonna be edgy, I'm gonna be edgy. - Oh, let's see. - I thought pre-season, one of the reasons I didn't want to draft Davante Chan was because I thought if he had some type of like minor injury late in the season, they were obviously gonna be terrible. They could easily just sit him down. - Yeah, this was one of, that's part, that was part of Jamie's life. - He's never gonna do it in week three. - Oh, that's, I'm, oh my gosh. And I want to end with our Eagles even a good joke. I want to end with our email of the day from Tyler from the TNT league based in Pittsburgh. Shout out to those Pittsburgh dudes. I wanted to quickly write in and get your thoughts on a fun league, me and my buddy commission. For the past four years, we have done a full redraft of the league after week seven. Everyone gets to keep one player from their originally drafted team and the round they took them. But besides that, everyone is on the board. It's a fun change of pace and it's honestly great for teams who have been plagued hard by injuries and would have no chance in a normal situation. Just wanted to get your overall thoughts here. Would you ever play in a league like this where you redraft, you keep one player in the round he was drafted and you redraft after week seven? - Does your records stay the same? - I think so. - So you're just basically gutting everybody, gut's their roster, everybody drafts again. - Yeah. - You're going with the knowledge that you have from the first six weeks this week seven, they draft after week seven. - This week, they draft in week eight. - Yeah, so they draft this week and I mean, it's obviously be a tough call if your team is loaded and you're giving away, you're seven and oh, and you're giving away the best team. But it's fun. - I think you should keep that for fun. - I've pitched this idea before. - Oh yeah? - Yeah. - Well they listened. - The boss is well, they did. The boss is here did not. It's an interesting idea. I think the issue is, do people have the time to legal to our bosses to do a league yourself? - No, no, no, to have the concept as an option on CPS. So like were they actually like promote it? - I think you should have two keepers per team to make it a little more fair to the teams that did great in the draft. My question for you is like just based on your rosters, who do you think your keeper would be? You know, just generically speaking, I would say Matthew Golden is one of the best keepers from the first seven weeks of the season. - Well, I mean, are you keeping your based on their draft value or are you keeping just one player? - No, you keep the in the round they were drafted. - Oh, okay, that changes things, gotcha. So you're not just keeping everybody's first round. - Right, so if you drafted Chuba Hubbard in round 10. - Oh yeah, he's been-- - You might keep him, but I mean it does like, what do you do if you've got him? Or and you've also got Jamir Gibbs? - So what about free agents too? Like where does Ali Gordon come in? - That's a good question. - Yeah, they would probably be maybe last round picks or round 12 picks, something like that. - I think three of the guys in tomorrow night's game, Koker, Chuba Hubbard, and Matthew Golden. - Right young, right young too? - Yeah, Jamie got it. - Isaiah likely comes to mind. - Dude, people should comment after the show about whether they would play in a league like this. - Yeah, maybe one together next year. - It's fun. - Robo Tondo4881 asks what's the draft order? So is it just based on reverse order of standing? - I would think so. - Good question, good question. All right, it's fun, you know? I think it may not work for some people, but it works for this league, and I'm glad y'all enjoy it. - Thank you. - All right, Jamie one more, one more movie. He plays a New York detective caught in a building taken over by terrorists in Los Angeles. - He's in the remake? - You know the name of that movie. - I know it's Chris's movie. - Okay, you know what? I'm gonna give the audience two more minutes. - Great the trade, give up neighbors and Jacobs, get JSN. - That's a lot for JSN. - He has a twist for Anderson and Coleman. - I'd rather neighbors and Jacobs. - I'd rather have JSN. - All right, we'll call it a C. Would you trade likely and Parker Washington for JSN? I have Loveland. - Yes, I would rather have JSN. - I got offered Lamar Jackson and Justin Jefferson for my Braille and Allen and Matthew Golden. - Oh gosh, the Jackson side went by far. Unless Breeze Hall gets traded. - From Brad, give up Emanuel Wilson and Zach Sharbinay. Get A. Brown. - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah, B. Plus. - From Chezky, I'm six and one. This is a tough one here. I'm trading Ken Walker, Justin Jefferson and Ramandre Stevenson. Ken Walker, Ken Walker, Jefferson and Stevenson. I'm getting Gibbs, Luther Birdon and Jeremy Bernard. - I don't feel as if I was going to give this. - Yeah. - Walker side. - Okay. - Yeah, Walker's pretty close. - Yeah. - I traded away Niko Laporta, Jeremy Bernard and Kayla on Black. I gave up Niko Laporta, Bernard and Black. I got Parker Washington, DJ Moore, Blake Korum and Mark Andrews. Hi, I have likely, so he doesn't need Laporta. So he's getting Parker Washington giving up Niko. He's getting DJ Moore giving up Laporta, Bernard and Kayla on Black. He's getting Blake Korum. - 'Cause I think Trey Chart was invented. - I like this is a good trade. Yeah. And I think it's important, if you're strong in a position like you have likely in Laporta, you couldn't theory lose a trade on paper and still make your team better, 'cause you didn't need that guy. Both teams could win the trade. All right, have a great day, everybody. We'll talk to you tomorrow on a more show ever on Fantasy Football Team. Summary:

FAQs

Yes, consider trading for Stefan Digs as he is heavily targeted with at least seven targets in four of his last five games and has a strong target volume. Despite being on many benches, he is expected to see increased production and is a top-24 wide receiver in terms of fantasy output.

Yes, Chase Brown is a strong option to trade for due to Tennessee's weakened run defense and a favorable rest-of-season schedule. Last week’s game showed increased running in the red zone, suggesting more opportunities for Brown to get involved.

The Colts have stated they do not want to trade Jonathan Taylor, but there remains uncertainty. If he stays, his value may decline on bad teams, especially if he’s not given a significant role. Traders should consider him a mid-season hold with cautious expectations.

Yes, Eric Allen is likely out with a torn ACL, and Jamie Tyrone Tracy Jr. is on injured reserve. Additionally, Matthew Golden could miss time due to injury, which impacts fantasy lineups and player availability.

Chase Brown, Jeremiah Love, and Carnell Tate have favorable schedules. Brown faces weak defenses, Love has a solid run schedule post-week 13, and Tate has a stretch of matchups against tough defenses but with potential for growth.

Yes, consider trading Michael Wilson or Tony Pollard due to their inconsistent performances and poor upcoming schedules. Wilson faces tough matchups in Seattle, the Rams, and the Chiefs, while Pollard has a strong but inconsistent game history.
