Buy Low & Sell High Trade Targets Ahead of Week 4 + Worry-O-Meter (09/30 Fantasy Football Podcast)

The segment focuses on fantasy football strategy, analyzing key players and matchups. Saquon Barnes stands out with consistent, round-number PPR scoring in his first three games, making him a top-tier running back candidate. Oli Gordon is in high demand at the fantasy draft, with some players bidding up to $40, though caution is advised due to the Dolphins’ brutal schedule. Several affordable running backs—such as Chase Brown, RJ Harvey, Woody Marx, and Keaton Mitchell—are recommended as low-cost by-low options for desperate managers, especially in trade scenarios. The Bears’ offense, particularly Khalif Raymond’s reduced role and target volume, raises concerns about his long-term value, with analysts assigning a 45–75% worryometer rating. Jalen Hurts, while inconsistent, remains a stable option at 21 fantasy points per game, and injuries or offensive line issues are not major concerns. Other players like Christian Watson and Jalen Coker are touted as steals due to high target shares and strong performance. The discussion also highlights the importance of trade flexibility, team schedules, and target volume in assessing player value. Overall, the analysis balances caution with optimism, emphasizing value-driven decisions over hype.

This is Fantasy Football today from CBS Sports. What a play! Can you believe this? It's a no again. It's time to dominate your fantasy league. It's to the races. All these days, all these things just get out of the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath. [THEME MUSIC] Where are you, Amateur Wednesday? Ooh, and it's almost Halloween month, Heath. Get the decorations out. All right. I'm so excited. Yeah, what's up? And Dave, with his White Sox shirt, congratulations. Well, nothing to congratulate the White Sox on yet. One win is nice, but two wins against Houston on the road would be great, so. Hey, man, it's baseball season. I've always been a baseball guy. It's everything season. It's hockey season. The Panther's won yesterday, and there's season opener. But it's also football season, and it's worryometer season. And we're going to put Lad McConkey and O'Marion Hampton on the worryometer. We're going to put Jalen Hertz and Saquon Barclay on the worryometer. We're going to give you Bilos and cell highs, and someone that we think is going to be a huge bus, someone that we think is going to be the steal of fantasy drafts. And oh, man, I've got-- Good morning, Jamie. Good morning. I've got an amazing Saquon Barclay stat. For those of you who are worried, you should know that Saquon Barclay has scored 9, 3, and 9 PPR fantasy points. In my opinion, he's the first running back ever to score whole numbers, round numbers, in each of his first three games, in a decimal scoring league. Remember when that used to not be common? Yes. Like, when we didn't have decimal scoring, and like everybody just always scored regular numbers. Right, and there was no good argument for it, because I tried to make the argument for rounding and not decimal. And I decided mid-argument that I was stupid. [LAUGHTER] Well, Saquon Barclay is not quite a streak. A quick fab check here. I was looking at, oh, let's see, four or five of the FFT open divisions to give-- any of you who still have waivers tonight an idea of what these guys are going for. And Oli Gordon went for $30 or more dollars. Now, FFT opens a little bit different because the playoffs, like, you basically don't have to spend any fab after week 15. So you can be a little bit more aggressive. Maybe you deduct a few bucks from this. But Oli Gordon went for $31, $40, $30, $22, and unclaimed in Thomas's division. No one put a bid in for Oli Gordon. That's amazing. They put a $5 bid in for Jalen Wright. Thomas just picked up Oli Gordon as a free agent five minutes ago. But for the most part, let's say 30% from what I saw in the five leagues, roughly, for Oli Gordon. Jalen Wright, $29, $35, $16, $5, and $10. So that one was all over the place. Kenyan Sadeek was in the 15 to 17 range. Khalif Raymond was very wide variety. Like, in the 15 to 17 range down to six here, I'm not even sure he was picked up in all of the leagues. But the Dolphins running backs, if you're still going tonight to do your bids, I think maybe realistically, I would say in the 30% range. Yeah, I checked from somebody $75 for Oli Gordon and $7 for Jalen Wright, same week. Wow, different managers, I assume. Yeah. All right, we'll see how some people are going to be pretty angry. I think everybody's going to be angry. All right, let's do some news and notes. I don't think the people that bid low and didn't get them are going to end up being pretty happy. I was going to say, don't be angry if you don't get them. And don't hear what Adam just said and think, OK, I need to go bid 40% to make sure I get Oli Gordon. Yeah, right. I was just telling you what you should maybe expect. But that doesn't mean that we would do it. Because I mean, with like for the Dolphins, it's just such a brutal schedule and two tough games in a by-week, that's just sucks. All right, news and notes, Jaden Daniels, reportedly putting off elbow surgery until the off season. And we'll see if he's able to play this week against the Colts in London. I thought it was interesting, Jared Goff said that the lions are calling for deep throes. But opponents are playing with so much depth that Goff is just taking the check downs. So it's not great for James and Williams. Maybe things come to 2024 or through now. Yeah, the fact that he said, hey, we're trying to get these deep balls. Just not working out, not there. Carolina had some bad injury news. Damien Lewis left guard. He's out a few weeks with an elbow injury. And JC Horn is going to be out there starting with their best corner back. And a guy is Mike Jackson out to Adam. Do we? Do we? I know he got hurt. I don't know his status for this. Right. They might be going straight to second string corners on the outside. Yeah. As soon as this week ends Detroit, you know, maybe those deep balls will be there for Detroit this week. The Damien Lewis injury, it was bad in the second. He left in the second quarter last week. And that's when things really started to unravel for the offensive line for Carolina. And that, I think that's the number one reason why Bryce Young kind of fell apart last week. And it's making me nervous for Bryce Young moving forward to. I think it's a great point. And it kind of relates to Ben Rathasberger. Because we're going to talk about-- [LAUGHS] I know. Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers. OK. Let's talk about that game today. Do you know what about Terry Bradshaw? What does this mean for Bubby Brister? Bubby Brister. I was going Bubby Brister too. It was my next stupid joke. Mark Malone. Aaron Rodgers passing. I don't know who that is. Cornel Martin Malone is? I know Carl Malone. He did not play quarterback for the Steelers. Anyway, Aaron Rodgers has been holding the ball a lot longer, throwing the ball a lot deeper. Well, that's what the Panthers do, right? That's their identity this year. And the Browns last week had the number one pressure rate in the NFL. And it certainly affected Bryce Young. They were getting the fourth guys too. Meanwhile, yeah, yeah, not a very high blitz rate. Meanwhile, Joey Porter could play this week for the Steelers, but Jalen Ramsey's question was, they're playing Thursday. Jalen Ramsey's questionable with a broken wrist that he played through in week three. Let's get to the fun stuff. Fill in the blank. My favorite by-alow is blank. Heath. I'll go with Teterua, McMillan. I think coming off of a very bad game, averaging less than 10 PPR fantasy points per game, even if it's the same Panthers as last year in terms of the past game's success. He's going to be better than he's been so far. All right, Dave. I've got a whole-- I did nothing but look at running backs for by-alow. So I don't have any by-alows at any other position. The most expensive by-alow, that is my favorite, is Chase Brown, who hasn't done great to start the season. You're going to have to pay up a lot for him. Your people are still going to ask for first round value for him, but maybe they'll settle for second round value. Depends on how desperate they are. And there's a ton of caveats when you're trading for a running back at this point, but he would be the absolute diamond to get at running back. If you can get any running back in trade, who's at least remotely a by-alow candidate. I know you spent a lot of time on it, so do you want to just run through a couple of-- I'm going to need more than a minute. Two minutes on the clock. We should let Jamie do his by-alow before he goes to this. Because Jamie might have somebody on my by-alow list. Right. OK, go ahead, Jamie. By-alow. DJ Moore. Not on my list. OK, what do you like about him? Oh, I mean, look, he had the game re-left with the shoulder injury. The targets were there for him in week three. Josh Allen's coming off a bad game. I think he's still obviously going to get chances to be productive, and this might be as cheap as you can get him. All right, yeah, 10 targets for DJ Moore. He's not running as many routes as I'd like, but he's certainly getting targeted. He had eight in week one and 10 in week three. So that's pretty damn good for his two healthy games. Yep. But let me ask you this about him. He gets New England this week and the Rams next week. Is this the time to buy low on DJ Moore? It depends on what your record is and what you have to give up for him. It's not like you're probably have to pay a hefty price. And if he does do well in these two games, then you're going to be regretting not training for him now. So I think his value is relatively low. He had a hundred yards and a touchdown against Houston. Should keep that in mind. All right, Dave, back to you. All right, so this is my whole running back by low list. And the obvious caveat is a fellow manager must not need a running back in order to trade for him. So if you're trying to trade with a manager who's got Chase Brown, but the rest of his running backs absolutely suck, unless you're offering running backs in return, you're not going to get Chase Brown. So you really need to find a running back rich fantasy manager in your league to trade for almost any of these running backs. Chase Brown and Sequan Barclay, kind of the obvious by-low guys just based on how they've started the year. I think they can turn it around. I'm going to talk about team running backs for a lot of this because I think it'll almost be cheaper to trade for two running backs on the same team from different fantasy managers. And then you just collaborate with those running backs rest of season and you should be OK. And if you have someone on one of these teams, think about getting the other guy. I'm going to start with the Vikings running backs. Go look at their schedule. Tell me their tough matchups the rest of the season. Think about their offensive line. And then think about how much it's going to cost you to get Aaron Jones or Jordan Mason. Mason's on the shelf. Aaron Jones is old right now. His value is pretty high relative to where you drafted Aaron Jones. I still think it's a good deal to try and get one or both of those running backs. If you've got them both, you've got to start or pretty much every week moving forward. Same thing with the Jets running backs. That's going to be costly because no one's going to take a discount on Breeze Hall. Breeze had two very good games to start the year. I think he can still keep it up. Maybe he does everything. more than 15 PPR points for the year, we'll see, but that's another team tough defense of matchups, rest of season, including the playoff weeks, but you can deal with that later. The Sains running backs. Travis H. N's value is not going to get much lower than this because he's injured. And I think you might be able to squeeze by with Kendra Miller and Travis H. N instead of Camera. Camera has no snaps inside the 10 this year. He has one third down snap this year. Quinshaw and Junkins, tough schedule ahead, but he's getting the work 17 touches per game or more. But the team's competitive is two best games are 9.8 and 9.9 PPR points. He can score eventually and then he breaks through to that 15 PPR point range. RJ Harvey is the next one. This is a weird one because he's not going to be the feature back for Denver unless JK Dobbins gets hurt really soon. But he's averaging more PPR points per game than Dobbins. He gets targets. Doesn't work at the goal line, but the schedule seems pretty favorable for Denver rest of season. He's the first sheepie type of running back. That if you're really in a pinch and say you whiffed on Adolphin's running back off the waiver wire, you shouldn't have to give up much to acquire RJ Harvey. And even teams that are a little running back needy might give up RJ Harvey. Same thing for Woody Marx. And I know the Montgomery had three touchdowns in week one. He's had 6.8 or fewer PPR points in week two and week three. Woody Marx is at 8.5 and 9.1. Again, another cheapie. He had a goal line touchdown the two minute offense last week. There is some tough schedules that from. And then last but not least, this charges offense as a total quagmire. Nobody is excited about them at all. But I think he Mitchell could put a little lightning, no pun intended, or maybe I did intend to this to this offense. I think he's certainly more explosive than Amari and Hampton. We saw him get a play inside the five last week. I think he could make inroads on Amari and Hampton's touches. And we've talked about it before. Mike McDaniel for everything that he did with the running backs in Miami. One thing he did was lean heavily on an undersized back in Devon HN. And we saw HN put up huge numbers. Keaton Mitchell might be able to follow suit. So those last three RJ Harvey, Woody Marx, Keaton Mitchell, cheap running backs that you could go and acquire without having to give up too much in trade. And they'll give you something. I don't think that they're going to go and give you 15 plus PPR points per week. I'm not saying that they're going to be league winners, but they are going to help you at least get an RB two ish in your lineup if you're desperate for that position. Okay. A lot of names there and a lot of different values. My favorite cell high is blank. Heath. Your favorite cell high is heath. I'm going to go. I'm going to go. I'm going to go with about your ring. There we go. We're not going to talk about selling me. That's a fantastic draft value so far has looked good. It's been a two back system and really it's almost been a one back system because going to gain laws and been nearest involved as we think. But this box situation is not very good. And now with Jalen Daniels at quarterback, I would expect we're going to get fewer running back targets. We talk about this all the time guys that are run as much as we think Jalen Daniels going to run generally don't throw to their running backs as much. He's kind of that one read and take off kind of guy, which might be fun to watch for a week or two. But the real problem with that is that like they've got the Packers and the Cowboys the next two weeks. This is supposed to be let like let Bucky eat time. I'm not sure the Cowboys run defense is actually that bad. And so I think that the next couple of weeks might be tough and then the schedule gets tougher after that. So listen, Bucky's a borderline RB1 right now in terms of how he's produced. So I want to get like what can I add to Bucky Irving not a whole lot and go get Chase Brown like Dave said, or what can I do to turn him into a borderline RB1 value? All right. I'm going to try to do this right now. I'm going to make a trade of Bucky Irving and someone for Chase Brown. And we'll see how it goes. Let me know what it is. I'll put it on the trade chart. Hey, can I ask Keith something real quick? Oh, you've watched a lot of Jayland Daniels because he played against his heath. Can you give us like the quick scouting report on him? Throw real far run real fast. I kind of like, like I can throw real accurate and run. You know, I think I think his accuracy in terms of like throwing at where he intends to throw. It's pretty good. I think he's going to struggle in terms of reading NFL defenses and seeing the safety maybe. Yeah, he's he's struggled a little bit with interceptions too. But he is extremely fast and he has a good arm. And he he generally speaking looks pretty composed in the pocket. But again, it's kind of is the first read there? Great. Let it rip. Is it not? Let's go. Let's run. Do you think he'll help the efficiency of the running backs in Tampa? Rushing efficiency. Maybe a little. I mean, I don't think he's going to this first week because the teams are just going to fly to the line of scrimmage until he proves that they they can't. Okay. Thank you. All right, Jamie. Who's your favorite? So high. Same guy. I think he said last week, Devata Adams. He's been awesome. I think he'll still be very good. He's doing those that Puka. You know, so if you can convince somebody that his name is still going to be as great, his production is going to be as great, it's got to be somebody that's not paying attention so closely. But if you can still turn Devata Adams into something great, I would do that right now. Would you try it? Would you turn Devata Adams into sake one Berkeley? 100%. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Really? It's that easy. Yeah. I mean, look, Devata is playing out of his mind right now. He's still showing that he's one of the best receivers in the game. He's still showing that why he's going to be a Hall of Famer. But he's not going to do this when Puka's on the field, but he's he was better than Adams that he was better than Berkeley last year. Yeah, but it's position scarcity. You know, so you you can you can use somebody like Berkeley, probably more so than you can use Adams. And I know that's weird to say, but when Adams goes back to what I think his role is going to be, I don't think it's going to be as productive as it is. It's not going to be anywhere close to what it's right now. It's obvious, but it's it's the hope that Berkeley concerned things around. He's running well. It's just that he's not getting you fantasy points. And I and I think we saw it last year, the when Puka played without Adams. I know he was really good with Adams, but he scored 50% more fantasy points when Adams was gone. Yeah, like it was he went from 20 fantasy points per game to 30 fantasy points. It was like six of his 10 touchdowns. Yeah. I think also the, you know, hard to say because it was the Australia game and they look bad. But the the the small sample size of their goal line 13 personnel package was Puka not the Vante. Absolutely. That was a big concern. I just, he's played, he played so well the last two weeks. And I don't know. I have some concerns about about Berkeley, the player, but Berkeley, the fantasy player, but we can talk about that a little bit like I would 100% take Deandre Swift for Devante Adams coming off. You know, I don't know if it was like a bad game for Swift, but I think the last two haven't been a, I can't remember, but I'm very high on Deandre Swift. You know, I would take that. I would take Swift over Berkeley. Would you guys not there yet? They are very close in the trade chart. They are two spots apart, but Berkeley still carries a little bit more weight. I'd rather have Swift and go ahead. I think Swift has gotten a larger share of the workload early on because Menongai hasn't been fully healthy. And I am still kind of expecting if Menongai's healthy in the second half, it's going to go back to the one, one drive a piece. Okay. Dave, we'll go to break after this. Who's your favorite, so high? The only one I wrote down was Harold Fanon, because both of his touchdowns last week were a little bit fluky. He was like third or fourth in the progression, the plays that they scored on. He wasn't the primary. Watson wasn't pressured on one of the two. And then the second one, he was pressured and he just moved out of the way. And Harold Fanon was right place right time. The two games before weren't very good. And you can still find a tight end off the waiver wire. I don't know if you can get Sadeek or Wall or anymore, but you can still find another tight end to replace Fanon. So he just had a good game. I do think he can be more consistent if Shadour Sanders plays, but I don't know when that's going to be at this point. The Browns are two and one. Watson's playing okay. So if you can get anything for Fanon, I would do it. All right. We'll take a quick break and we'll come back, tell you who we think is just going to be a huge bust this year based on the first three weeks. And who's going to be the steal of the draft and who's going to be worth starting in the Cleveland Pittsburgh game tomorrow night. We'll be right back on fantasy football today. It feels I feel like blank is going to be a huge bust, Jamie. - Holston loved one, I mean, so disappointing. - Yeah, that's the point of this is to really say, don't buy a low basically, I mean, not necessarily, but it's not a screaming buy a low, right? I mean, what do you think about love one? - No, it's not a screaming buy low. I mean, first off, the quarterback is hurt, and I know Kate's keen and played well, but you know, look, he looked amazing last season with Caleb Williams. I think there's still plenty of upside for all the Bears past catchers with Caleb there. So that's part of it. You, we all went into this thinking, oh, it's going to be loveland and or loveland burden and or loveland burden, no dunes, eh? That's it, and now there's an end with Cliff Raymond, who's, you know, been so evolved, and I don't think he's going away as you've talked a lot about. - Cliff Rayman, Rayman and. (laughs) - Thank you. - There's the, there's just, you know, you're seeing him dropped now, and I get it, it sucks. You know, I saw him dropped and the 10 team league last week, I picked him up. You know, the waivers were on tonight. It's a small bench, I'm probably going to have to drop him. I have hours in that league, so it's not worth raw string, custom loveland, which just sucks. It just absolutely sucks. Like, this was, this was, I think everybody's favorite breakout candidate this year, you know? No matter who you talk to, it was, you know, whether you liked him or loved him, there was obviously people that were concerned and makes sense, but I think the majority of fantasy, analysts, fantasy managers were looking at this guy as a potential superstar, and hopefully it still happens, but it just doesn't feel like that's going to be the case. - Dave, I feel like, or it feels like Blank is going to be a huge bust. - I've got a bunch of names, and certainly, Roma Duneze would qualify as another guy. Let me give you the three names, and then we can talk about the one you like the best. Chris Godwin is one. Ashton Gentie is another one that's actually made me kind of nervous. I think I'm actually just going to stop there between those two. - Yeah, what do you think we're going to choose? Godwin or Gentie? - I think everybody kind of sees it with Godwin, especially with the quarterback change. What were some of the stats that really worried us about Ashton Gentie last year? - Yeah, so we did this on Beyond the Box, where he has the same yards before content. - Yeah. - Very as he does last year. - And he had that great week one. It all came on the strength of what he did as a pass catcher. He still has zero rushing touchdowns this year, 3.3 yards per carry. These are simple stats. But we started to see Mike Washington run a little bit better last week, and the words that Rand Carthon said, that Jamie told us about how he thinks Washington's a better fifth in Gentie in this offense, coupled with the fact that Gentie got hurt during a practice late August, it's making me a little squeamish about what to expect from Gentie moving forward. And if we're in a world where running back values are sky high right now, and people are willing to give up a lot to get a brand name running back like Ashton Gentie, maybe you consider it, because he just really has certainly, he's getting double digit PPR points. He doesn't look the part as a runner the last two weeks. And it makes me nervous that he could end up being a bus this year despite the big week one. - Yeah, he also had his lowest target per out run rate of the year by far with Brock Bauer's back. However, I mean, I kind of feel like with Gentie, the time if you agree, like worst case scenario is last year. I mean, which is still an RB2, right? And you're not saying he's a total bus. You're said, if you can get like huge value for him, but the way Dan and I kind of says like, he gets so much work that he could end up playing like a first rounder, but at worst, he's probably gonna play like a second rounder. - I mean, the best thing that happened that prevented him from being the clear and obvious biggest bust was the ankle injury in the preseason, 'cause it dropped his ADP down to where we could get him in round two or in round three for a period of time. And so I think if you look at like the people who draft him at the two three turn, maybe okay. - Yeah, right. And someone said, you know, Dave, you mispronounced Omari and Hampton. And yeah, like, that's a good pick also for he could be the biggest. - What did I say? - Oh, oh. - You said your case was just Gentie. - Yeah, no, that's true. And that's somebody that I think we were all pretty excited to draft and it went cabloey pretty quickly, in part because the offensive line for the chargers went cabloey pretty quickly. - And he doesn't get any targets. He has two targets and he can three games. - It's terrible. - All right, he fused your biggest bust or it feels like it's gonna be the biggest bust. - So it's kind of a, I think a new game that we should just play each off season now. It's like, who is the one guy that he really likes that's going to be the biggest bust? It's Galpitz this year. Just, I don't understand at all how this confluence of events has come to be. The Cooper Rush excuse was really nice for the first two weeks. Listen, it's probably going to be the worst contract in football. - I don't know why they would give him all that money and then use him in this way. It's not as if he's a great blocker and that's why you're paying him. Just completely uninvolved. Somebody said he was dropped in their 10 team league. I wouldn't even move me at this point. I'd just look at it and feel sad. - Okay, it is only one game for like, with Pettics. So we'll see. - That's true, we'll see. - Sure, but now we've got a 13 game sample. He's been good in four of the 13 with Pettics. - Yeah, I know, I know. - Kyle fool me Pettics. - Just wait 'til next year, Michael. He's still only 25. - You're gonna do a full 180 if Drake London misses time too. So it's, hopefully he saw in the waiver wire when that happens. - All right, let's do this one quickly here. We'll go blank is, I feel like blank is going to be the steal of the fantasy draft, Jamie. - I hope he's healthy, but Jalen Coker. He's been so good so far last week, not counting with the injury, but like the first two games, he was out producing Teterola McMillan and performing like a top 20 wild receiver. And you see the way Bryce Young has played and just hope to see him, you know, not miss any time with the injury or have to play through an injury. So he's been really good so far. I hope it continues. - Hmm, he's. - I feel like I got this one. Christian Watson. Currently, I think we had a talk this summer where we said, you know, if everything goes right, what's the upside for Christian Watson? We said top 12 wide receiver, and he's currently wide receiver four. Just outstanding target share. I've heard multiple people talk about how Matthew Goldins leading this team in targets. Well, it's 10 targets per game for Goldin, it's 9.7 for Watson. Like this is exactly what we wanted. Matt LaFlor saw the light or was forced to do it. And he may be a top 10 wide receiver rest of the season. - You kind of don't want them to get another running back, right? You want them to just stick with this pass heavy plan. - So that even if they do, even if they do, like if Christian Watson's getting eight targets a week, it's gonna be awesome. - I would like to have another player to use. So I like them to get a running back. - The thing is, I mean, I don't disagree. Just looking at his player page right now. His target share in three games, Christian Watson. 20%, 38%, 20%. - Uh-huh. - You know, it's probably got to be higher than 20%. Unless Jordan love keeps throwing this much. I mean, he's had two games just like 40 something more to pass. - 42 or more passes than two games do. - Yeah. - Well, they have a bad defense and no run game. So-- - Yeah. - I mean, it could happen. - It could happen. Yeah, I mean, you could also nominate Matthew Goldin for this steal in the draft. Dave, who do you got? - Wiz Khalifa Raymond, who nobody drafted and we're just now picking up in week three. - Can you be the steal of the draft if you weren't drafted, Dave? - Well, then you're gonna be the steal of the waiver wire because I don't think the role is slowing down in Chicago. - Yeah, go. - And that's a, that's a, he's a top 20 per game to keep your receiver. - You think so? I mean, he's 32 years old. This is crazy. It's crazy what's happening. You think he's really gonna be-- - Yeah. - And look, I don't disagree. I put in pretty aggressive bids for him. - Yeah, I was pretty irritated by that in our league. - I didn't have any targets per game. - Oh, oh, in our, did we get him? - Yeah, we got him. - Yeah, let's go. Seven targets per game, and he's catching 91% of his targets. - What's that I bit? - I bit like 50. - Great. - Oh, Thomas in the chat with the great, great, great team name, great team name. - You're doing it again. You're greater lading me again. I already said everybody hates Raymond. I said that like three weeks. - I never heard that, but great team name, Thomas. I will give you credit for that all year long. - Come on, Thomas, man, you're better than me. - I'm gonna name a team like that and just put all rights reserved Thomas after him. - Can I name one other guy besides Raymond? - Sure. - I mean, this might be the word they drew. - Wait, no, were they drafted? - Yes, this person was drafted. - In fact, he was- - This will be your answer. - In fact, he was left for dead on the side of the road and people who just were like, "Well, I need a running back." And it's round 10, took Chuba Hubbard. And he's just, he's looked really, really good and things have just turned out right for him because Jonathan Brooks, Shocker, got hurt. And he's, from the jump, he was the panthers guy at running back all along. So I feel like a fool for having Brooks rank ahead of Chuba Hubbard. But I also took Chuba Hubbard in a couple of leagues as bench depth and he's absolutely saving my bacon in a number of leagues. And now, I think you've got to view him as an RB1 in rest of season. - Okay, well now I'm just thinking about Bacon. Cory has a question, "Cleaf Raymond or Jerry Rice?" - Oh, I mean, it's gotta be Raymond at this point. I mean, what did Jerry Rice really go? Yeah, I'm all that we're gonna be talking about Jerry Rice today, and I'm I'm really not sure It's a new show that we'd like for you to check out make sure you check out NFL play action from executive producer Josh Allen he makes an appearance on this show from time to time and go beyond the sidelines with hosts Kyle Brant and Allie Love This is where football meets culture every Wednesday streaming on Paramount Plus New episode drops tonight and and I'm on it. Yeah, and it's really fun Yeah, you are and we film in the old TRL studio Which is like every this is like the first thing everyone says about the show and the it's in the old TRL studio Which is just really cool very in time-square But it's fun. We're having a good time and if you think they make fun of me on this show You should see what they do to me on on NFL play action Tonight's episode is gonna be a doozy All right, email of the day is from Steve Question three colleges have two or more wide receivers in the top 15 in the NFL in yards so far again Three colleges have two or more wide receivers in the top 15 in the NFL in yards. Yeah, who which colleges are they? I'll say it has to be one of them now. I have in fact check. So I'm gonna just trust Steve Yes, Ohio State has JSN, Olaviang, Garrett Wilson. I love you. It's there Not else you know USC USC has Drake London and St. Brown Okay, and Holy cross. Yeah, you're such a cheater. Yeah, it's holy cross Jalen Coker and leave Raven basic trivia all roads lead to Khalif Raymond. I should have put the question at the notes But yeah, that's such a great trivia question. Thank you, Steve and he is a holy cross graduate a proud holy cross graduate Dave Pittsburgh is at Cleveland The start of the game already gave it Aaron Rogers is holding the ball much longer only 35% of his passes have been in less than 2.5 seconds It's usually 50% or higher each of the previous four seasons eight dots way up Not throwing to the running backs as much, but again It didn't really work for Bryce young last week because the Browns had the highest pressure rate in the NFL in week three, so will that work for Aaron Rogers this week? Jamie, who do we Want like need to start in this game? I think there's only one guy and that's Jalen Warren You know the the receivers are starters and three receiver leagues. I think there's looking at Denzel Boston and potentially DK McAf I Think you can if you've been starting Harold fan and yes, the touchdowns were fluky to some degree last week But he also got to 10 ppr points the week before so he's in the borderline starting range The Steelers DST would still be in play for me, but that and even the Browns I guess you know, but I don't know if you consider the Browns must start But I think just from a skill position standpoint. It's Jalen Warren and nothing else No one else. What do we think? Well, what's the deal with Rico down? Oh, Steve a chance to play He's mispractice so far. I'm gonna guess we get a designation of of questionable at best So at this point, I'm anticipating him not playing right Rico doubt So what if he plays so how would that change he how would that change your ranking of Jalen Warren? Warren would go from a borderline RB1 to a mid-range RB2 He's been a lot better than Rico doubt all so far and I don't think with doubt all not practicing this week They're gonna bring him back to a big workload. They maybe just spell Jalen Warren a little bit He's another one. You can make a case for a great traffic. Hope so. Yeah, look Warren Warren average almost four yards per carry against New England, which is actually quite an accomplishment and then 127 yards on 17 carries against the bangles and now the Browns giving up 4.8 yards per carry to running backs And consistently every week. They've been below average in that in that metric So excited to start Jalen Warren this week, but Warren or Barkley Warren Warren In less doubtful plays Yes, then it'd be really close. They're great Dave. Who's your favorite wide receiver in this game? It's DK Mekaph, but it's in the flex range and it has to do with how the Browns have been playing a lot of single I coverage that's usually a good thing for DK Mekaph Rogers is going to need to get the ball out quick We talked about how the Browns impacted Carolina's offense last week. They're gonna do the same thing again They played 77 snaps on Sunday, so they could be a little tired And I wonder if the Steelers can get a little bit of an edge there and catch them a little bit not at a hundred percent And Mekaph has been weird like I don't think even as a game this year with 50 yards and he needed a little bit of luck to score last week I Think there's a there's a rational argument to be made that he can finally break through to like 60 yards And still maybe score a touchdown and catch five balls along the way. I still think he's gonna be a decent flex play Yeah, man this game's Yeah, we could get a surprise because it feels very Thursday night football footbally Mm-hmm. What about what about Judkins? He's how you feel about Judkins this week. Pittsburgh giving up 4.33 yards per carrier running backs not much there 18 carries last week for Judkins He's a high end flex. Hopefully he's towards a touchdown Hopefully he gets a maybe three targets Yeah, I don't want to start him But I would start him over both of the dolphins. I would start him over both of the Saints I would start him over both of the Patriots. I would start him over both of the commanders I would start him over all of the Seahawks. I would start him over all of the Broncos. How would you start him over? So we just saw you might have to DK make half definitely and everything but full PPR full PPR I have Judkins just ahead of DK make up. So yes, he's the best flex in this game. Maybe the second best start in this game Harold fan in junior Anyone want to know we feel about Harold fan in junior Number two tight end. I've I've written about it a couple of times already this week But tight end is the most insane position right now. Um, I think we have 17 tight ends averaging double digit fantasy points per game Including Harold fan him I'm okay starting him. He's not a top 12 guy for me Waller and Cedeek ahead of him Waller. Yeah, well, they're both that's the hard thing like practice reports today will probably dictate that for me I'm going to be less certain about waller over him as Coker ruled out. No We're ranking it that way right But if Coker gets in a partial practice or if I had my Mitchell's fine Then I'll probably have fan in those guys That's sure. What about guys like uh who sucked it tight and lately likely craft pits We're disappointed with pit pits is not in my rankings likely not in your rank likely to head of fan in okay Okay I agree. Let's see if we have a chance. I'm trying to motivate Kyle pitstaff By the way, who do you do like do you think either to Sean Watson or Aaron Rogers get 20 fantasy points this week? No Um, I think it's reasonable that they could both get there. I wouldn't I wouldn't expect them to and we could say that for 18 other quarterbacks So yeah, I don't think their ceiling is nearly as high as other quarterbacks. I would set them Um, I've got lots and over Rogers Okay, yes, too Watson's been running I you know DK met this poor DK met calf man He just can't escape these good cornerbacks last two weeks. He's been shadowed by Christian Gonzalez and DJ Turner. He did score a touchdown when Turner collided with his teammate But you know denser word is not usually a guy who moves and he actually did last week Against Teterol Macmillan not shadowing him, but played on the other side of the field much more than he usually does and is he going to do that again Is DK meccaf going to be shadowed by a really good cornerback again? I mean it makes sense if you're looking at it like it's But he never but he denser word basically never does that and he did last week in which unusual and they have a new defensive coordinator I think that's part of it is it might happen Did he follow Brian Thomas in week one at all? No, no Yeah, not that you need to Brian Thomas got hurt in that game too, but no He didn't he really didn't move from one cornerback spot. He did didn't in week two either and he didn't week three So it makes you makes your nervous like think about DK. I don't think the corners have been DK problem DK's problem this year At number one. I do. I mean not not the only problem But most guys struggle against Christian Gonzalez and some struggle against DJ Turner. It's not it's not easy I don't think Aaron Rogers is going to shy away from throwing to meccaf just because Denzel Ward is covering him. No Yeah, I don't I also he had to try to away from throwing to him when the other guys have been covering I mean his targets have been there for him, so it's he's just not catching the bowl. Yeah, that's part of it He's pulling the defense that the defenders that are on him, but I don't have a ton of I don't have a ton of questions for this game from the chat. It's the KC concepts you and breakout incoming Breakouts hard to see I go ahead No, I In the league where I share the FFT open team we have KC concept she owned the bench and there was a question about dropping him For one of these waiver wire guys and I don't I'm not ready to drop him yet, so I'm still hopeful, but yeah We need something I feel the same way, and the target volume being up is great, but they're all little targets through the thing that I was counting on when I was hyping him up in August, and he's just not catching him. He's not coming through on them. He might be another guy that we need to just wait for Shudder Sanders, which is so silly, and I don't know if we're going to see Shudder anytime soon, so I think it could be time. He's certainly droppable. Let's just put it that way, and there's no way I could be convinced to start it. He did play more, he ran the most routes of that he's run all season, so you don't have to drop him. Let's go quicker, Concepcion or Chris Bell rest of season. I'd rather try Bell, Concepcion. I still go Concepcion. Harold Fanon, Jr., or Isaiah Lightly this week. Lightly? Lightly. Denzel Boston or Jordan Addison? Addison either way. Addison. Sean Watson, or Justin Herbert? Watson. I got him back to back. Marcus Mariota. Enough. That's the right answer. That's 100% true, and Sam Darnold's the second answer, but if you missed both those guys, for me, it's Watson. I'd start Daniel Jones over both of them too. Yeah, I was just thinking somebody that's rostered, and I'm like under 20% of leagues, so it's Mario. All right. Last question about the DSTs, Jamie, are we starting both DSTs? I would. Yeah. You know, the Steelers have looked good at times. They look miserable times as well, and the Browns defense was very good the last two weeks. You know, it's not just what they did against Panthers, what they did against the Bucks as well in week two. So I think they're in play, and I know Deshan Watson has played much better than we anticipated since the second half of week one, but the Steelers are still going to get pressure on him, and we'll see how he does in that regard, because I think the Panthers defense kind of fell apart last week with injuries. They were injured coming into the game and then got worse. So I don't know if that's an indication of just how good the Browns may or may not be or Watson may or may not be. So this is going to be as tough as tests, at least since week one. All right. That's it for Thursday night football. And when we come back, how worried are we about Jalen Hurtson, Sichuan, Barclay, and O'Marion Hampton? And who else on this list here, Lad McConkey, Jalen Waddle, Tucker Kraft, we'll be right back with the worryometer. And if you played offensive line in the NFL at some point, the Packers will sign you. Yeah, they just signed Kevin Zitler. They're signing all these older or not, the veteran offensive lineman with a lot of experience to do anything to shore up that line. Okay, we're worried about the Packers offensive line for sure, but how worried are we about the Eagles? Ben wants us to put Jalen Hurtson, the worryometer from zero to 100. Dave, you get the first word. What's your number for Jalen Hurts? 24% Heath, 18, Jamie, 35, All right, that's probably about 26 on the worryometer somewhere around there. Do you want me to do the math from now on? No, I think people will enjoy my terrible math. Okay. So 18, I want you both to do it and just see the Adam says it and then okay, no calculators, no calculators just. I'm gonna write by the way, 25.7, so I got it right. Good job. Why are we not that worried? He really hasn't looked that good, late touchdown against Tennessee and tore up Washington, but who doesn't? And he only threw for 203 yards in that game. He's never that worried about Jalen Hurts. Yeah. Well, first off, you don't draft Jalen Hurts for his aesthetic as a passer. Second off, he's averaging 21 fantasy points per game. That's not that good. The distinct age. Right. But we don't put somebody way high on the worryometer because he's averaging 21 fantasy points per game. I think we do when he's one good game, and it's fine, but he's faced Washington, Tennessee, and Chicago. If you were a great quarterback, he'd probably be averaging closer to 28 points per game. That's, that's not perfectly. That's hyperbole, but that's what I would expect from like prime Jalen Hurts. He's also not. I don't know if I'm going to get that guy again, like it just feels like that guy, you may get a game here or there. I don't know if we may get it consistently. The, the, the offense doesn't seem like it's working again. You know, I, I don't know if it's just more offensive line injuries because they're missing some, some, at least missing one person. Right. They're missing Dallas Goddard, you know, but it's like we continue to make excuses for, for Jalen Hurts in fantasy. I know he gets a lot of crap, too much crap in reality for a guy that's won a Super Bowl. Um, it's, you know, the, the decline five years in a row of his fantasy points per game, the decline three games in a row of his fantasy points per game this season. Uh, I don't, so like, I wrote the, the, the starts that are ready for the quarterbacks. And I, I have him as the busler for this week, mostly because like, I'm not going to replace him. I don't think you go and start Mario or Berset or any of these guys over Jalen Hurts. Yeah, I don't think anybody should be at that point. Like he said, he's still averaging over 20 points per game. But it's, it's, we're just getting to this point of like, at, at some point, you may have to consider replacing him or have to consider somebody who has more upside or start streaming, not that you're, uh, cutting him, but, you know, benching him to, to the point where there is somebody that gets you 23 or 24 points. So I don't know if it's just Goddard not being there and, and how he looked and, and I'll go back to what I said on Tuesday show. If he doesn't get knocked out and he gets you that touchdown, you feel a lot better about where he's at. Yeah. So just take that into account. It's just, he's just not playing very well right now, and that's the frustrating part. Do you think part of it could be the new offense? Yeah. That he's just not quite, you know, that he's played three games in this new offense that he's never had to learn before. I'll ask Scott Turner about it. I'll talk to Scott today. And, I mean, you would think by that this point, he would be a little quicker at learning new offenses. He has to do it every year. Not really because the offense is that he had before this year were kind of similar. And this one is like a total overall. He doesn't get knocked out to, you know, I mean, he's learning that David Wicks, he's learning McCoy Lemon. He doesn't have Goddard for at least this last game, you know, he getting Earth's back, you know, and Earth had a horrible block on what was, you know, set up to be a big play in a wide receiver screen. There's just a lot of things that moving parts, it's just, it's kind of been the norm for him because of some of these situations with the offense coordinators and, and again, a few different changes in personnel, but it's just, I don't think you're getting the return on investment you were hoping for if you dropped it as a top five or six guy. That's true. I'm not that worried. I just want to move on here. I just, I need to point out he's, he's averaging 5.3 carries per game and he used to be more like 10. So this is a huge development. It's only three games, but last year he didn't run that much either. It was 6.6 rush attempts per game. So I think the days of like the, you know, seven, eight hundred yards rushing from Jalen Hurts are probably over, and I do think that we need to, we need to factor that in. Go ahead. Could he hit his stride starting in week five? The schedule gets great. It's Jacksonville. That's in England. And Carolina matchup. They, they haven't, they haven't allowed more than 16 points to a quarterback. Now that's, to show on Watson, Bonix and Drake May, but I can't sit here and be like it's a great matchup. Okay. Okay. Last year. Carolina. Washington, the Giants. And then even after that, it's pretty good until you get to the stage. Washington, Tennessee and Chicago, they are, they are Washington, Tennessee, they are top, they are top five in three and out rate. They have not been a good offense. They barely have the ball. Two of the last two of their three games have had the ball for like less than 24 minutes. They are a struggling offense right now. They're, he should have had two interceptions. He had one terrible one. He should have had almost the exact same play. I think they'll turn it around, but like we're kind of missing the point. They have had an easy schedule and they are 29th in three and out rate. Go look at the, at the teams that are at the bottom of three and out or like the worst three and out rate. You don't want the Eagles on that list. That is a crappy, crappy list. They got to get better. And they have the lowest play action rate in the NFL, too, by the way. You go loud? You go loud? Yeah. It's really confusing. I just think, I just feel like it does. He jailed her. We have a, do you have a, a shout meter, a shout-on meter of, yeah, this is like a one. This is like an 85 on the show. It just happened in week one. I was like, you know, Jalen Hurts had this good game, but it really looked a little clunky. And why are you always criticizing Jalen Hurts? Nobody said that. You did. You did. You gave me crap today? No. In week one. I just, I just think like when we're in an environment where Drake May and Justin Herbert exist and Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels are not available, like talking about worrying about sixth or seventh round Jalen Hurts when he's averaging 21 fantasy points per game. Like we said, nobody said zero. It's a little worried. All right. All right. Okay. I think they'll turn it around, but they need to have the ball more. They need to sustain their drives. They got to fix this three and out. Very passionate. This sounds like somebody who's angry about Devonte Smith's production. No, no, no. Listen, and it's really starting to get nervous about what's going on. I'm done being nervous. I'm resigned to my fate. Okay. Faces are fate. By the way, I have a good Zayf Flowers that, do you know what his yards per out run is? It's huge. It's over nine. I'm saying. I haven't found anything even close to that, like just looking at the first two weeks of a season because he's only played two games, so anyway, we'll come back to that. We'll come back to that. We'll come back. I think we'll come back to that, but we'll come back to that. Okay. Okay. Okay. I think we'll come back to that. Okay. there. Okay. That, that, okay. That's not, that's not a bad guess. It's 26.3. You did that in your head. Yeah. Oh, that's terrific. I should. Oh, it's really like the easiest way out of the world. You just add the numbers. Yeah. It's three numbers and then divide by three. I'm doing it the hard way here. All right. You were the highest teeth. Why are you the most worried about Barclay? Well, first off, say, Juan Barclay was around two pick. And so I think like the bar of what we're expecting for production is much, much higher. And I don't like the fact if you just look at week one and week three, the two weeks that he played mostly the full game. He ran 23 routes. Devante Smith ran 63. I don't think this, I mean, he was awesome against the Bears. I think the Bears run defense is a lot worse than their past defense. He was awesome against the Bears on a per carry basis, but I'm not sure that he's going to have much of a role in the passing game. He's still going to lose one yard carries and maybe two yard carries after the way they looked running the ball on short, in short yardage to Jalen Hertz. And so I'm worried about him not being worth the second round pick. Okay. He was wide open on a screen pass early in that game. And Jalen hurts over through it. But still, it's two targets and every game night barely played one of them. You're right. That the route participation rate was 61% last year. It was 27% in week one and 45% in week three. So still like nowhere near what it was in 2020. And I think probably the difference between week one and week three is Dallas. Goddard was there in week one and Dallas. Goddard wasn't there in week three. I think when Goddard comes back, he's going to be even less involved. All right. Let's go to the next one here. That's that's the worst case scenario for sake one Barclay. The other guys weren't as worried. I'm worried about Khalif Raymond being the wide receiver one for the Bears. So he doesn't lead them in targets anymore. That's currently Luther Burton, but it's very close. How worried are you about, I guess I would say Khalif Raymond's role on Chicago, Dave. I'm worried about his role. I'm worried about how his role impacts the other Bears. Yeah, that. Yeah, I'm worried about his role impacting other bears. So put me at 75%. Jamie. One one Bears door opens up another window. Am I worried about him impacting the other Bears players? Yeah, what's your worryometer for that? I'm worried about this question being on the um. Well, it's not even the question that was asked. I'm just turning it into something else because he knew we wouldn't get high enough on the scale for the real question. No, no, I think it is. I mean, it's Khalif Raymond as the bear said, you could just read the words. I know, but it's kind of tongue and cheek. I mean, like it's about the other players. It's, you know, it's about the other guys on the show. So shouldn't we do a worryometer for Burton, Loveland or Dunesay? Sure, but we don't have that graphic. So it's 45. What? 45. 45. 45. 25. Okay, one twenty one one. I don't know what I mean. I'm gonna find it by three when it's almost 50%. Yeah, 48. 48. It's something 49. 48. I think it was 48. Three. Yeah, 48. All right. Yeah, I look, we already talked about it, but we are concerned about Khalif Raymond having some staying power and impacting the other guys. Maddie says, I'm worried that my team will be too good following the Jeremiah love breakout and we'll take all the suspense out of fantasy football. So yeah, I mean, stop. This is ridiculous. Well, how, how, um, how worried are you that you, if you don't have Jeremiah love, like, uh-oh, this guy's gonna wreck my league? Uh, what? 10. No, I mean, I think Jeremiah love is a guy that I wish I, I, I had on any of my teams. I'm annoyed that I don't, I think, uh, the fact that his role was so good and it's clearly taken over as the lead back. He's gonna be awesome. All right, whatever. Let's go to the next one. That was more for fun. That one was fun. There was a lot of fun. That was so much fun. All right, pass. This is from Pat's pens pirates. Those are his favorite teams. This Twitter fought. This Twitter user. Lad Maconkey. Where are you? I'm around. I know the mark on us. Probably. 46%. I'm lad. 42. 35. You couldn't just say 44. All right, it's going to be about 41, right? 41. He's exactly 41. There we go. Lest it's going to be fun. If Adam's going to be right on all these average. Yeah, I did pretty, they're pretty well at the math version. That's the SATs. That's so much on the English as I think you all can figure out. But Maconkey, I mentioned this on Monday show. You don't want on this horrible offensive line. You don't want him to have the highest average route depth of his career. And he's running much deeper down field. That's not the Lad Maconkey we know. And it's that supposed to be this offense either. But yeah, all right, discuss. Dave, discuss your concerns of Lad Maconkey. It's because the Chargers offense is ugly and I don't know how quickly they can turn it around to the degree we hope for when we were drafting Chargers a little more than a month ago. Can he still be relevant in fantasy and be a quality number two fantasy receiver? Yeah, but can he be a number one? I worry about that. And I do think his role needs to change. I think he needs to get healthier too. But he's part of the pathway for the Chargers to at least be like a functional offense for the rest of the season. Jamie, any thoughts on Maconkey? It's definitely been frustrating. It's the entire team. You know, so there's I think you got to be worried about the Chargers rest of season. It's just been a complete failure so far based on the expectations. That being said, he has one, I think one very good game in week one, one very disappointing game in week two. And then week three, you know, fighting his way through this rib injury will see how just if that's something that's, you know, plaguing him, really, I think it's just more of a Justin Herbert Mike McDaniel problem that is impacting Lad Maconkey. If he gets the targets, I think he'll be productive. So the schedule coming up is not exactly ideal. But I know I'm not benching Lad Maconkey any time soon. The yards per route run are still great. The target per route run is kind of gross. Can Lad Maconkey straight up get me Chubah Hubbard or Cam Scataboo? That's a chat question. I would not be trading Chubah Hubbard for Lad Maconkey right now. I would consider it for Scataboo. Closer for Scataboo, but I don't know if you're even going to get that. I would probably want something else alongside of it. Yeah. Okay. Last one here is from Brian Burke. He has two tight ends. He wants on the worryometer Tucker craft and Isaiah likely. Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. I'll skip that one. You go back. We should go back to Waddle. I think you're right. It's a very good one. Let's do Waddle. Worryometer on Waddle. How much will Pat Bryant impact the production of Dylan Waddle? What's your worryometer on Brian? Where does Brad Smith fit in? Did you see Pat Bryant admitting that he flopped? No. I think he admitted that he flopped. On the interception? Yeah. I thought watching it live. It was a great. Well, it wasn't an interception. No. It was an interception. They got called a PI. Well, yes, but I mean. Yeah. That play. Yeah. Such a great interception. That's what then I felt needs as flat. Waddle would be 25. I'll go a little lower 20. 36. I don't like that he showed up to some event in a walking boot. Yeah. That's cool. I'm not doing this math. 27.5. 28. 27. There will be no 0.5s when you're dividing by 30. Oh, yeah. Yeah. 0.3. 27. I'm just spitballed here. Not that worried. All right. Two bad games out of three, but at least he had seven targets last week against the Rams. I think it says something that he's had bad numbers when defenses have put like quality corners on him and tried to lock him up. And I do think the Broncos offense has clearly moved on from what they look like in week one, because they look terrible in week one, and they've looked better since. Schedule get easier. I'm I'm kind of buying Waddle. I already have him on a bunch of teams. Well, I mean, they looked horrible in the first half last week. They did. And they came around in the second half. But Waddle wasn't a part of that in part, because he saw a lot of of trimituffy. I don't know how many great corners are in their future. They play Seattle in a few weeks. That'll be a disaster. But short of that, I still think he's got plenty of upside number two receiver. Okay. Should we do crafting likely? Yeah. All right, craft like 60. Oh, 51, 60. What'd you say? 31. Okay. It's going to be in that range. Let's see, 31, 40. Yeah. So that's going to be like 34, 35.3. Yeah. That's what I said. And that's Tucker craft. I don't know what he's got a 14% target share. That's a problem. But this is a small sample size. Right? I mean, he could have he could have a great game in week four. Yeah, normally a guy that has a game read and got two games where Jordan love is throwing the ball over 40 times. So I think the targets will continue to be there for him. And I think I'll start to produce. I think so. Like the target share Tucker crafts never really been a target share guy Yeah 20% last year or something. He's only averaging five and a half yards after catch per reception We need him to to run Well, that's the thing that I can't figure out. I try to watch tape and I can't really give you an answer Is he the same guy or is he still is he still rounding into form after torn ACO? I really don't know the answer to that So that could be part of it, but again, it's all a small sample stuff here. I say I likely zero to 100 30 I'm gonna go higher 40% 14 33 no no no no no not even close 23 Okay, right 23 22.7. Yeah, okay So that's I say I likely 23% on the worry. I mean, who is the highest Dave I? Think it was me. Yeah, yeah, he talked this week about how he had spent so much time Prepping with Jackson dark and getting on the same page of Jackson dark now He's got to do it all over again with James Winston and we don't even know if it's gonna be James Winston for the rest of the season after the Giants Traded for Jay Jay McCarthy. I still like him. I still sort of want to start him But I would consider some other options until I start to see it again where likely is Getting and not just the good targets, but good catches and doing something with the ball this Giants offense could be Pretty ugly pass wise rest of season. I just I think when like The first game that was bad after his great week one was a 10 target game The second game and his back, but then what he was doing right the second game where he was bad Yes, it was only five targets They didn't have to throw the ball because they were playing the Titans in on the ring in the ring So I just don't Maybe that will turn out to be like indicative of something But I'll feel much more worried about Isaiah likely if he's very bad against Arizona this week It's a it's a very telling matchup because I mean look He's not gonna do what Kittle does Kittle just did that would that would be fantastic, but I wouldn't anticipate it I think more of what you saw from week one where both chargers tight ends combined for 90 yards receiving and Was the joke who had a big or good enough fantasy game 10 10 plus points. So like likely without a touchdown I think that's the safe range for him with touchdown. He's gonna be better I think he nailed it like we don't know what this passing is gonna look like for the Giants yet Yeah, I'm really freaked out, but it's a it's a proven week I mean the next two games Arizona and at Washington if the Giants don't look good in these two games then I think everything we said about likely can apply to Malik neighbors first place Giants continue to say that Yeah, the first post neighbors as much higher on the worryometer than likely is I understand because of where you drafted him But I'm just saying like for for this for the Giants offense as a whole if they look like crap the next two games against Arizona and Washington, then they're just probably gonna be the one of the worst offenses in the NFL for the rest of the season I also worry about giving an edict of let's let's just run the ball Let's play it safe. Let's be conservative. Let's just do what I've always done in Baltimore and that Erad out week after week after week and that kind of goes against what James is that's perfect for Jay Jay McCarthy But I'm I'm kind of nervous with you Adam. I'm freaking out a little bit about the upside being hit for both likely and neighbors. I want to hear the worryometer for neighbors, doesn't I don't I don't know if there is a perfect for Jay Jay McCarthy I think the Giants defense is gonna put James in some situations where he gets to be James And I don't think Harbaugh is gonna get to do what he wants to do Me just lost learn a secondary still questionable like yeah, sure second half of games. Does it Jay Jay McCarthy love his tight end? I don't I don't know. This is tight end sitting three Fifty tight end is wearing number nine. So maybe it was tight and he does love number nine 15 yards farther down field Then it's intended target than he might throw it to his tight end, but um Yeah, I was I gonna say here. James just like I like for James to actually look like James He's he's looked like a very old horrible quarterback so far But there are excuses. I get it Say flowers is averaging 9.4 yards per out run on 12 targets and I went back and I looked at like any wide receiver who had Who had 12 or more targets in one in weeks one and two and couldn't find anything even close to 9.4 yards per out run But I did find a few players who were like 3.5 yards per out run or better in this super small sample size and who didn't end up being that good And three of them were three of them were Ravens Rashad Bayton Zay flowers last year was good but 14.7 PPR fantasy points per game was a great and Marquis Brown in 2000 wasn't great 19 he wasn't I mean you got 13.7 points per game from mark from Zay flowers this year You'd be pretty upset about it Because a lot of these guys on this list of like four more yards per out run in this super small sample size They end up being JSN and Pukinakua they end up being league winners and that's probably where we're headed with Zay flowers But the funny thing is like the busts and not busts But the ones who just didn't even come close to sustaining it were Ravens Not not exclusively, but a lot of Ravens on that list. It's a different Ravens offense now. It is yeah Great the trade for a few minutes here to finish the show from John give up Parker Washington get Alvin Camera and Lad Maconkey If don't like rather of Washington from Doug He's three and oh he gives up Olave Jeremiah love and Tyler Warren He gets Devante Smith Saquon Barkley and Nico Collins and he has Joanne Johnson to replace Tyler Warren Olave Warren and Jeremiah love for Devante Smith Barkley and Nico B minus E C plus I kind of like the Olave side better. It's very even I'm running it through the chart See what it says as this from Matthew give up Puka and Kelsey Get Pickens and Jalen Warren D You like the Puka side better. Yeah, I mean a Puka right to give it a B Dave got to break the tie on that one. I'm still on the last question. I have the chart actually a Smith and Collins significantly higher. That's interesting. Uh, I didn't even hear the trade Puka and Kelsey for Pickens and Jalen Warren I think I'd take the Puka side Oh, yeah, it's tough because the whole you know like what happens if you don't know comes back Um, well, we don't know when Puka's coming back. Yeah Traded Nico DJ Moore and Scatiboo Nico DJ Moore and Scatiboo For Bijan Robinson and AJ Brown in a 10 team league Hey, a push on side wins From Brody 12 team half PPR give up Tony Pollard and DJ Moore Get DeAndre Swift you win B plus B plus B plus from Dirk Half PPR three receivers and a flex give up Bucky Irving and T Higgins Get Josh Jacobs and Drake London Bucky and Higgins for Jacobs and London Oh, you might have just gotten London Uh see minus see minus. Yeah, I don't think you should do it And from Jeff I have both Josh Allen and Brock Purdy. I'm thinking about trading Allen for an RB1. What is fair return in PPR? Swift Swift is in that range That might get you chase Brown I would think you know what I if you can do it do it But I've got brown higher than that on the trade chart. The range is Gentie Kyron Williams Breeze Hall Aim higher than that try and definitely try and get chase brown. I have that pair in our draftathon league And I was thinking about the same type of thing but I'd probably get like Jalen Warren at best for Josh Allen because it's a bunch of analysts Okay, yeah Yeah, you can get David Montgomery for Josh Allen It's fantastic I've already got JK Dobbins Well, we'll talk to you on the bar with the AFC whole games on fantasy football today. FAQs

Ashton Gentie is viewed as a potential bust due to inconsistent performance, a drop in target share, and concerns about his role in the offense. Despite a strong start, his rushing stats and regression in targets have raised doubts about his long-term value.

Christian Watson is highlighted as a steal due to a high target share (9.7 targets per game) and strong performance in a pass-heavy offense. He is projected to be a top-10 wide receiver and a reliable flex option.

Jalen Hurts is rated at around 26 on the worryometer. While he averages 21 fantasy points per game, concerns about declining performance, reduced rushing attempts, and struggles with offensive execution are noted.

Saquon Barkley scored round numbers (9, 3, 9) in his first three games in a decimal scoring league, making him the first running back to do so. This rare achievement signals potential upside and strong fantasy value.

Khalif Raymond is rated at 75% on the worryometer due to concerns about his role in the offense and potential impact on other players. His target share has declined, and he no longer leads the team in targets.

Keaton Mitchell is recommended as a low-cost, high-value running back due to his potential explosiveness and favorable schedule. He could provide reliable upside in a pinch without requiring a large trade sacrifice.
