Brittany Broski & Drew Afualo Live from Disneyland
74m 5s
The podcast features a lively, humorous exploration of friendship, humor, and personal identity, set against the festive backdrop of Halloween at Disneyland. Hosts Brittany and Drew share anecdotes from a late-night visit, blending playful storytelling with self-deprecating humor about their bodies, fitness, and personal quirks. They explore themes of physicality—such as the high-kick challenge that leads to stomach pain, ankle weakness, and family legacies of joint issues—while joking about body image and being “plus size.” The conversation naturally flows into nostalgic Disney references, especially Mushu and Mulan, highlighting admiration for loyalty and whimsy. A recurring joke involves swapping body parts, with Brittany wanting stronger ankles and Drew aspiring to better cardiovascular health. The group also reflects on their shared experiences, like attending events and making absurd jokes, and teases a fictional friendship breakdown rooted in financial betrayal. Ultimately, the episode balances vulnerability with levity, using humor to connect, celebrate differences, and affirm their strong personal bonds. The experience is both grounded in reality and enriched by imaginative storytelling, reinforcing the idea that shared joy and laughter can form deeper connections, even in the midst of physical discomfort and self-awareness.
- Wave. - But I love Mewon because I love Mouchu's, I love Mouchu's loyalty. - Right, you're a big Mouchu fan. - Oh, Mouchu. - I love Mouchu. - I should have called the movie Mouchu. We are in the park at one in the morning. - We breached. - We have breached the barriers. - We breached the barriers. - And the echo of your voice against these hallowed halls. - Didn't it feel like I should be a small town mayor? - Yeah, I thought that for a while though. - Didn't you get that feeling? - I did. Bonnie has no idea what's coming for him. - I'm Donnie a small town mayor. (laughing) - I should be, what's the stars hallowed? I should be like the, you know the guy in stars hallowed who's so annoying? What's his name? - What is stars hallowed? - Okay, Gilmore Girls, do you know it? - I am familiar. - The town they live in. We're gonna move off this 'cause you guys don't know what I'm talking about. - Girl, you are the mayor from Nightmare for Christmas. - Am I? - Yeah. - His head switches around per his mood. - We pivoted to something we know. - Yeah. - So you're saying I'm too faced? - Well. - Well, well, well, if the alien head fits. - Oh, oh, oh, I was just in your wedding and you would talk to me. (laughing) The fact that I would go all the way to Hawaii for your wedding and I would be treated like this. - That's true. And you wore flip-flops all weekend and I had no say in it. - Not one. - I was actually, I've told by many people the flip-flops were okay. - You were in those holocaues all week. - Did you have a problem with them? - Well, I'm glad we're here. (laughing) - I asked several people. - That's true. - Actually, a night that, you know, Brittany and I shared a room. - That's true. - As lovers do. - As lovers do. And there was a time when I was dressed for an event and Alex came in and I said, "Okay, I think I'm about ready to go and show up to my outfit." And she goes, "Okay." (laughing) And I went, is this not, is this too casual? And she goes, "Well, what are the other options?" (laughing) And I said, "Okay, let me just go and put on my other casual butt gowns." - Can I see your hat choices? - Yeah, yeah. - Yeah. You're on a tight ship at the wedding, you know? - Yeah, I'm not good at formal, y'all know that. - That's true. - Y'all know me. - We visited the Polynesian Cultural Center. - We did. - That is crazy. - And me and Caleb had a damn blast there. - Yeah, and the first thing they did, land acknowledgement, of course. - Absolutely. - As soon as you walked up. - Should we do an acknowledgement? - Yeah. - To the mouse? - Yeah. - Do you know? - We should acknowledge the land of the mouse. - We should do land acknowledgments everywhere we go. I think that would be really nice. - You guys especially. - One thing about Brittany, Brittany loves to be bald. - Oh, I love being bald. - A bald filter hates to see Brittany come out. - I spiritually bald. - Spiritually bald, I have gender euphoria when I'm bald. - Yeah, I really do, and I don't know what that means. Amy, Brittany, I do, I'm like, and what if I was bald for a sketch? - Yeah, yeah. - And they're like, "Okay, sure." - They're like, "It's warrior, but I don't know." - Yeah. - Do you think so? - They're like, "It's a haircare brand." What if I was bald? What would that be funny? - What if I said it made your hair fall out? - No, I don't think. - But it's a joke. - Oh my. - Oh my God. - Yeah, well, this is our job, so it is kind of hard. It's hard to, yeah, put it there, put it there. - I just love you. - I'm not here. - I just love you. Nicole's freaking out, 'cause we're out of our camera frame. - Oh, perfect. My glasses are fogging up from the helmet already. - Oh. - Well, it is about 92 degrees out here, so that's probably why. - So yeah, what everyone watching at home needs to know, it is 175 degrees. It is 130 in the morning. - Right. - And we are wearing sweatsuits. - Yes. We love to sweat through stuff. We went ahead this year and said, what if the costume fit? (laughing) - And I did say, when I got the costume, they said, do you want an extra larger or two X? I said, no, what if I wanted a medium? (laughing) - I feel like there's some choice. - And they said, what do you want? - And yes, I need to take the two X. - They said, honey, it's time to be realistic. - Well, they said, well, you want to be comfortable, don't you? - They go, and then, how many X's for you, ma'am? (laughing) - We go one or two. - One, two, four or five. (laughing) Please, skip three. Like, we just know you're somewhere. - Listen. - No, no, no. I'm gonna start wearing clothes that fit for real. - That's good. - That's the thing I'm working on. - That's on your mood board for $20,000? - Yeah, well, I accidentally lost some weight, and now I fit in the gap, I fit in the gap three X. So I'm making changes around here. - Whoa, okay. - Big moves. - Big money, big moves. - I went to an event the other day, and they had t-shirts, and they only had a two X left. And they go, would you put this on? And I go, yeah, I will, but I'm gonna look like sausage in the casing, and then I put it on, and I looked so ridiculous. - Have you seen these TikToks and Instagram memes where they say big, big boys, big people, when they fall, first thing they do, puts the shirt down. - Yeah, and I don't like those. - 'Cause I'm doing that. - I'm doing it too. That is a right of passage growing up plus size. - As a big girl. - Yes. - When you grow up big, you adjust that shirt. I don't even notice when I'm doing it. It comes to me, it comes to me like a vision from God. (laughing) - Something just shines down from the heavens and says, move your shirt, move your shirt. - It's like when the doctors do the knee jerk thing, you're like, if you're okay, you will adjust the shirt. (laughing) If you see my shirt on adjusted, I have died. - You're doing a Ouija border like, if you're here, move my shirt. - Pull my shirt down, please. - Pull my shirt. - You're getting up there in years. - You're the oldest set of all of us. - What'd you say? - I said, you're the oldest set of all of us. - Yes, and numerically, in terms of chronology and number of years alive, yes. - Right. - What you're in, I'm assuming, is. - In terms of youthful energy, elasticity, nimbleness, playfulness, I think I'm quite a bit younger than y'all. - If you stood up right now, could you touch your toes? - Absolutely. (laughing) - Really? - Absolutely. And I could kick pretty high. (laughing) - Can you go back here and do it? - Hold on, let me go back there and do this real quick. Everyone stay where you are. No one may can move on the camera team. - 'Cause no one believes him. I need to see how high you can kick suddenly. - Yeah. - Okay. - Perfect. - Pumpkin. - Pumpkin. - When you visit the park, do the Caleb here and kick challenge. (laughing) - Let's get this started. Damn, that was pretty hot. Did your knee pop? - Your knee popped. - Well, you didn't, athlete. - It almost fall. - Is my right, if you like some pain. (laughing) - Gotta stretch that hammy. Imagine you lay your knees to your chest. - Imagine you lay your knees to your chest. - Let me get back on mic, I'm not feeling well. I'm not feeling well, my right knee, which I did have surgery on when I was 15. (laughing) - I have surgery on my knee too. - Did you for what? - Yeah, when I was 14, I tore my ACL. - How so? - Well, I tore everything. When I was playing soccer. My ACL, MCL, NPCL. - At the same time. - Torn in half, girl. - You're kidding me. - No, swear to God. - And they replaced them or what? - Huh? - Do they replace them? - Yeah, they like, they take muscle from somewhere else and they like, rebuild my, like, - Is that? - My intended. - Like, graph. - Muscle graph? - Yes, girl. - Do you feel something going on in my body now from the kick? - Yeah, you turn on your ham, she's gonna be bruised as hell. - Yeah, some of them. - I turn around and it's like when his, like, half his face got burnt off in the back room. (laughing) - My leg is just all my tendons are exposed. Somehow. - He turns this way. - My skin came off. - Truly. That's gonna, that's gonna, that's gonna be my leg when I take off my onesie later. Just to ring it out. - You know when, and among us, they die. - Yeah. - It's just a single bone sticking out. - Yeah, that's gonna be my leg. - Backstage in the back rooms, the Disney back rooms. - Yes. - Yeah, when it hadn't gave us popcorn, pickles. Only have three fingers. Popcorn, pickles, Poptar, Coke, what a low heat you have. - Keep in mind, these are all things Brittany requested. - She asked for all six of them and also had a bite of all of them. - Okay, first of all. (laughing) - We get back there, I go, do you guys want anything kind of just being polite? - Right. - You know, just being a good host and Brittany goes, "Yeah, I'm gonna need a water Coke, "Pickle, Popcorn, Poptar." I was like, okay, Drew, I'll come back for years. - That was a lot. - That was a lot. - That was a lot. - What? (laughing) - Damn, big girl. - Anyway, I had all that and so they was like, I told him he's kind of rumbling. - Randomly, it's rumbling a little bit. - That was me having a Chimichanga and a turkey leg today and then being like, space mountain. (laughing) - Let's shake it up. - What do we hit space mountain? - Yeah. - Drew, how do you think the wedding went? Did we all do a good job? Did Brittany do a good job, okay? - Yeah, what's our grading? - Rem genuinely give us a grade. - Yeah. - Just overall performance at the wedding? - Yeah. - Just like in terms of support, all of it, just kind of my thing. It's like support, like guest management, how well we interact with your guests. - Appearance? - Appearance. - I mean, we were struggling with it. I also had a separate thing where I actually faced time Drew directly. - Yeah. - We were headed to the PCC and I said, is wearing a sort of, what only white women really wear? A tropical blouse slash dress. - Yeah. - Is that appropriate? And she said, did you bring anything else? (laughing) - I said, I think it's cute. And she goes, it's ugly. I'm changing. (laughing) It doesn't feel like. - Well, you know what, I walked you there. - Yeah. - I had a similar thing with Alex. Yeah, I was told to change with eyes alone. - Right. - But yeah, based on everything, what was our grade from your wedding, do you think? - I give you both an A. - Okay, nice. - That's nice. - You guys look great. - I was on that dance floor. - You were holding that. - You were holding it down. You wanna know something funny, Billy told me. He said that the day of the ceremony, he was like, I was so nervous. I literally like had to go stand by myself. But we were all,
on the same room and he's like and then Steve came over to me and tried to make a joke and I was like I'm gonna be honest Steve like I can't do this right now like I'm genuinely so nervous and he was like okay yeah no worries and he walked back and you were there and you went don't worry buddy I've been shooting blanks with him all of it he said the amount of jokes I told him and he goes that's nice yeah I go don't worry Steve I've been shot this is allegedly my job and I've been shot down all listen even for an S tier like myself it's been difficult yeah I'm a I'm a tier one operator I've been getting shot down out of the sky yeah our boy is our boy is in wedding mode today that's true do you think if you kick really high you can pull something in your stomach maybe from the back can that be an effect of kicking really high maybe it's your abs you just crunch too hard do you think yeah I kind of feel like we should go try it okay I think I should go to all right do you want to go to I'll go first okay you go yeah let me know if you feel and really truly kick us high as you can don't cheat me on this yeah yeah if you feel a pain in your stomach yeah yeah yeah and honestly I was shocked at how high it kicks damn that was high as hell that was a pretty good kick comes it down that was honestly so good me being genuinely shocked yeah how's up oh my god we gotta call someone here's here's my review of doing that here I'm feeling it here totally hamstring yeah that's a hammy no I always thought this was your hamstring that's your calf muscle that's my cap and when you said ACL always thought that was here no that's your knee that's your Achilles heel you learned something new that's your Achilles heel that little really kind of concerns me that you thought all of those things were incorrect you were you were over four on those muscles well you know a lot about the body Drew what's going on with my stomach right now I think it's just for having too good of a time right now in terms of the Achilles heel of it all not that big of a deal what he had no object like if you shoot me in the back of my ankle with an arrow yeah okay I'm I'm like totally out of luck but it's like how often is that gonna happen never try never I'm just thinking on that and going like that's not the big of a deal actually why did we even talk about him probably because he wasn't that good Achilles heel yeah Achilles Achilles Achilles his name his first name last name heel first name Achilles like a spring ankle I like a spring ankle that's right with Achilles boy nothing boy nothing to we'll come back to it no worries Achilles can I say please flop flop if you can't get shot with an arrow in the back of your foot your flop your flop and I don't even know why we're talking about you what's so many years later no like greatest warrior ever it's the right leg to it's not even right now yeah well what's going on is there's a crazy feeling in my body right now from the kick and I'm scared I'm I'm literally trying not to let it take over would it make you feel better if you did hers yeah and do it really really high if you can create something in your stomach and make sure you plant your plant your right leg and kick really high with your left yeah she's right leg did that yeah I think that's what I did okay okay whoa that's really good super super high that was super super high now did lifting the arm help with the technique you know I was going to say I low key I'm not even kidding I work out a lot and that's no I'm not trying to brag my hammy hurts right now I'm trying to be so real no you learned something about yourself no my hammy's low key hurting I like low key like everyone come to Disney and do the kick challenge everyone get from the pumpkin pumpkin everyone's got to do the kick challenge hashtag kick challenge everyone come to the pumpkin and hashtag your kick challenge and let us know if you feel if you feel like you tore something in Caleb here and kicks off viral kick challenge to pay for surgery on his stomach no this one you got a hernia from this from this imagine I mean I wouldn't be surprised that's how things go in my life that's sort of my track that take my track record is like I'll be doing something I'm like let's just be silly and whimsical and then something really really tough comes up it yeah that's the truth of my life this feels like a sleepover yeah one time one time we were in Hawaii and we were like in the ocean my whole families there and then someone was with us and they were revealing some pretty serious and exciting news like they were like guys we have something to tell you we're all in the ocean I'm like oh what as they tell us the news I get sung by a jellyfish and I've so it wrapped around my hand and I literally was like I like threw it off and then I went someone I said I don't want to ruin the vibe but I'm on fire yeah someone needs to take me inside I'm having a panic and I was trying really hard not to ruin their moment does someone really have to pee on it um no they can it's like but it it honestly wasn't that bad I think because it was small it was a teeny tiny jellyfish it was a yeah it was like an itty bitty junior jellyfish see this is why I'm so scared of the ocean and I'm right about it yeah totally the ocean is a very scary place I agree I was telling I was telling everyone that we were in the park with today because you guys hadn't gotten here yet I was like I we were talking about like being at theme parks when we were kids and I was like I have a vivid memory of being 10 years old and my mom being like do you want to go to the theme park this weekend like that there's one in kids in the cold world's a fun and then I do want to go to the theme park this weekend and to my mom at 10 years old I vividly remember being like it honestly seems like too much like I was like I really don't want to go and she was like come on and it'll be fun and we were laughing so hard remembering by the way my mom was like 26 she was like she was like my kid sucks I want to go to the theme park I truly was like I was like mom I can't do it and like truly she was more fun than her kid that must have been horrible she was like oh my god and she was right it would be it would have been so much fun but I was just such a little like I wanted to like knit or something my mom told me once when I was young and we were at like a water park there was like a bunch of kids playing like basketball like in a pool or something and she's like do you want to go over there and join them and I was like that's preposterous no that's the same thing my mom literally goes where did you learn that word and I was like well and it was where I used it in the right context yeah you nailed it and I was young guess I want to try to say it's I'm a genius well so young sheldon yeah and that's Disney IP yeah that's the thing we're talking about young sheldon what yeah I wonder if there's any Disney shows about hurting your stomach pretty bad you're watching it mama we're living it live mama a torn muscle in your stomach behind you mama herniated disc in front of you mama mama hurting yourself for a bit that might not even make the episode behind you I'm just imagining they can only see like your knee of your planted like they didn't even see the cake mama the stomach pain turning into a headache right in front of you girl no you're every waking thought being ruled by the stomach pain episode being about stomach stuff mama a heat stroke behind you mama an icy hot summer in the park that's fine behind you okay do you care about that stomach pain because I don't there is part of me that's like he's got anatomy we don't right so there's something may have she name one sorry sorry name I just hate feeling different from you guys and you know that that's true every time one of our differences comes up it makes me sick that's true that's true but there are so many well that's how I feel when you guys are a couple in front of me that's true so yeah but you have just your big baby you have no true I'm your gazing baby true so we were doing a photo call earlier we were doing a photo call earlier in the that class sort of you know and we were asked to stand in front of a window and Drew goes I'm going to drop down to give a level to the photo right and whispers to me and Caleb I'm like you guys is baby well honestly it's because our dynamic is like I'm the big guy from the blind side and your Sandra Bullock and she's the husband I'm the deaf yeah you're the dad and he's in literally you know what way is that our dynamic you plucked me from the streets Caleb you don't understand when people are like and I think Drew is his assistant that is when they talk about the three of us you guys gave me everything that is so funny every time I hold my whole career to you guys you know I was right yeah and the daisons that little SJ kid that I'm like that I protect from the airbag before the bio kid and he's like I stopped it before we knew we weren't supposed to I loved that movie I agree oh yeah I really loved that movie when I came out because I played football and I was like I know I love I love the two at the time I'm not a question tell me what were y'all's favorite Disney movies growing up and why because the y gives me an insight into your personality move on that's a great one absolutely and I have several reasons let's hear it let's you I have always wanted a friend like mousse you right I have always wanted someone to be that loyal to me I have yet to find that what do you mean he's
- He's sitting right here. - Chances are not like Mushu. - He's dressed like Mushu. - Chances, you know I love you to that. He is not like Mushu. - You're right. - He's a cricky. - He would never follow me into war. Chances, chances are not like Mushu. - Chances, are you a draft doctor? (laughing) - Well. - Say it right now. - I think I would. You'd follow me into war? - I would follow into war for sure. - Chances, I don't know. - If you keep me purring in my tent before I go to war, be 100% real right now. (laughing) - If that's the kind of what Mushu does for Mulan. - If the Huns were coming, would you light the cannon chance? - Well, I don't think I would be used as Mushu. I think you would use me as sort of an attack dog. - Attack them with what, kindness? - You don't think? - So you think you would be the horse? - Yeah, probably. - If the horse is a big hugger. - Attack with a big hugger. - Of course it's your first chance. I want to thank you for bringing that up. I don't think Chances Mushu, he might be the horse. He might be the matchmaker. (laughing) (laughing) - Now that's a lot of fun. - He's extremely intense. - Right. - He's an extremely intense guy and so was the matchmaker. - That's true. - But I love Mulan because I love Mushu's, I love Mushu's loyalty. - Right. - You're a big Mushu fan. - I love Mushu. - I love Mushu. - You should've called the movie, Mushu. (laughing) - I think you're just like saying that word. - No, I love Mulan. I love her. I love that she pretended to be a boy. I think that's sick. - That's awesome. - She should've been bald. (laughing) - And he was into her, no matter what. - He was into her. - And he was saying. - Yes, what? - No matter what. - She could've been bald. - In fact, he was gonna piss off when he found out. - That is true. - That is true. And I like the dweebie commander guy. - Oh yeah. - The guy that was like you can't go to war and he was like, I'll go to war. - You know what I mean? - Right, right, right. - And I like the songs. I like the big, huge fat guy. - Oh, the one that loves to eat. - Yeah. - He's like, oh, I don't care what she looks like. He's like, she cooks me food. - Right. - Me. - I don't care what she's eating. - Oh, it depends on what she cooks like. - Yeah. - I felt that when he said that. And Mulan is a story about bravery. And Mulan is a story about love. - Right. - And it's many forms. What about you guys? - What about you, Brittany? - All right, I'll go. Aladdin. - That's a great one. - And it was because of Robin Williams. - Yeah, he was fantastic. - Robin Williams really opened my mind as a youth to, like, how zany you can really get. You know what I mean? Like sometimes I feel like the stuff I used to laugh at as a kid or even like as an adult. Like I rewashed Aladdin recently and I was like, it holds up. - So funny. - Yeah, there's just no ceiling on comedy. - Is that why you like voiceover work? - Yeah, literally that started it. And then Josh Gad made it worse when he did Olaf. I was like, I can do that. (laughing) - I think I was like, I can do that. - Straight up, I can do that. - So, and me and Josh Gad kind of look alike. So, I think that that really was-- - Don't get me started on that. - Well, bang. (laughing) - That was really a thing. - You, Hammond, Mad Damon. - Me, Josh Gad, Brittany, Mad Damon. - Yes. - Who do you get the most? - Somebody look like? - Yeah. - Fat guy from Malcolm in the middle. - What? - Fat guy from Josh Gad. Any fat guy. If anybody sees anybody fat online, they'll be like, this you at K-O Obsessedings. - Yep, yep, yep. - I'm like, they're just fat. - How about this? I get big-eyed, big foreheaded white women. - Yeah. - This you, queen. How about that they go to art museums? - Renaissance paintings. - Oh man. - Why did I kind of think of Brittany Broski when I looked at this? - Queen, you have to see this. I saw it. - I saw it. - Oh, I saw it. - Would you rather have Renaissance painting or Fiona from Shrek? 'Cause that's what I get. - Are you getting Fiona from Shrek? - I get Fiona from Shrek all the time. I get Shrek, but I get Fiona from Shrek. - I also get Lotto. - You look like Lotto. - You look a lot like Beyonce too. - Don't say that, they'll get mad. With Lotto, I told Brittany, I was like, her kind of, I do see it a little bit. I think we just both have huge eyes and we're not white. But then when I was looking at her, I was like, what makes me laugh even more? I think that would piss her off if she heard it and that makes me laugh. (laughing) Like if she heard they were calling me her twin, she'd be like, and that's funny. - Why do I have to be twins? - That's why I find that. - Why am I in the twin equation? - Right. - That's why it's fun to say it to people that look nothing like me. - Well, I love. - Well, under Addison Rae's stuff. Okay, twin, you better do it. - Well, I literally sometimes like, when I do interviews too, she's built nothing like me. I'll literally be like, well, can I borrow this when you're done this dress? That's fine. - Can I get that look? - We're about the same size. - We'll have teams talk. - One extra two X. (laughing) - No three. - Yeah, if you think they're sending that to Addison Rae, two X or three X? - Probably not. - Probably not. - Probably not. - Oh, my favorite Disney movie ever is the time. - Emperor's New Groove. - Yeah, that's right. - That tracks, what do you think it was about it? - The humor, honestly, more than anything. I was like, I was laughing. L-M-A-O. - Absolutely. - L-M-A-O. - Waffle copter. - Yeah, in that the eyelid. (laughing) - I remember leaving and being like, holy shit, that movie had everything. I remember watching it and thinking, "God, where does it end with this masterpiece?" - I agree. - You have a very cartoonish sense of humor. - I do. - You do. - That absolutely is exemplified of that movie. - You guys actually share a lot of that. - We do. - You guys in Dyson, sometimes when we're all together, you guys get lost in like a cartoon bit. - Yeah. - Right, and I am a little bit left on the edges being like, I'm laughing, but I'm like, I don't really fully understand. - It's fair, it's fair. You lack our whimsy. - I totally lack your guys' whimsy. - You're also unplugged from media in a way that I think people would be shocked to know. - But what I lack in whimsy, I make up for in something that's going on with my stomach. (laughing) - That's true. - No, I am a little, I'm not unplugged, but I don't know your guys' reference. - You are in like a beautiful way though. - Yeah. - We're called dinner in an awful way. - I should be more unplugged. We all should be. I should get even further. - You even more unplugged, I'll have to reach you by carrying your pigeon. - That's what I need. I want to get all the way off my phone. I need to get rid of my phone. - That's fair. - My god, if you can hear me, I need to get rid of my phone. - Well, that's fair. - I need to get rid of my phone altogether. - Would you do a dummy phone? - I did a dumb phone for a while. - You do have the dumb phone. - It was cast out and cast out. - On my show, you said it was the blue eyes, brown eyes experiment. - Yes. - When you got a dumb phone. - So why do you wish smartphones think that you can treat people with dumb phones like that? (laughing) You know it's not right, and you do it anyway. - Well, I tell you that blue. - People with dumb phones are no less than you. (laughing) - Just because your phone has Uber. - For me, you think you're at lots of use the bathroom and she's not. - So you can use the bathroom and she doesn't get to have recess. Why is that? (laughing) - I love Jane Elley. - I love Jane Elley. - I love Jane Elley. - I love Jane Elley. - I love Jane Elley. - When you made that joke, literally really goes, that was the funniest thing I heard while I said, oh nice to hear that from my husband. Thank you. - Can we look together? - So we look together. - No, Billy's my boy. He and I have a very special in spiritual connection. - They agree. - You do, actually. - We really do. - You have a lot in common. - I have a really, you know, what I'll say about my boys is that my boys and I, we have a very special understanding. - That's true. - What does that entail? - Well, there's something about being a boy that you guys could never understand. - That is true. - And there's things about being girl that I can understand. - That's true. - Wait, okay, so if we were in a small town together, I was mayor. What do you guys think your role would be in the small town? - Great question. - That is a great question. - Like if we lived in a little small town and it was a different reality where we didn't have these jobs. - Right. - What do you think we would do? - Are we like municipal government or is it just anyone in the town? - I think it's just like character in the town. - Got you. They own an ice cream parlor. - Like old school style? - Old school style. - Like real Tuesdays? - Yes, but also we serve Coca-Cola though. Oh, fashion way. (laughing) - But to serve in it. - Yeah. - Like that, yeah, yeah, people come in. - And then we have one of those paper hats on. - 100% right here. - Are you gonna throw sock hops? - Yes. - What year is it? - It's 2026. - Yeah. - Oh, it's present day. - Oh, it's present day, yeah. - But it is this kind of like, everything's black and white or red and white striped. - Everything's black and white. (laughing) Anyway, moving on. I would own an ice cream parlor and I would be, can I pick my age? - Oh, you get, yeah, you can get a different age in this exercise. - Okay, first of all, I'm bald. (laughing) Okay, let's start there. - Whatever age I need to be to get to that. - Yeah, I'll be bald. Second of all, I'm probably like 60s or really 60s. - That is so your window. - Right, it's been in my family for a long time. And it's like, I'm carrying on the tradition. I make Coke the old way. (laughing) - Yeah. - I see that for you. - Yeah, once this is a counter, it's like a little bit. - 60s is show your window. - You think 60s over 50s or 70s? - That's very sweet. - I think you're gonna be one of those women that's like, do you know how, like, Drew Barrymore and Amy Pollar are aging? - Yes, yeah. - No, they're not in their 60s. - I don't think they look fantastic. - But they're aging towards that, like, very, or who did one recently? Was it Glenn Close that did that video that was like, I'm sitting outside and the wind is in my hair. - You want to talk about us, yeah, I think so. - That's the kind of 60s woman you're gonna be. Where you're just like really's in, wearing some loose fitting button downs. - That's too. - You're gonna be like that in your 60s. - Thank you. - I agree. - I'm looking forward to it. - And you're gonna be the same on us. - I'll be long gone. (laughing) - Don't say that! - I'm planning on fucking out. - I'll be long gone because in my 50s, I'm gonna get really into helicopters. (laughing) - That's your big plan. - And I don't think I need to tell you where that goes. - No. - But you know, I won't be around. - You're just gonna be investing, driving. - I won't be around. - It won't be the helicopter. It would be your stomach pain. - Yeah. - So, okay, I'm so glad you brought up that stuff. (laughing) I didn't really wanna be talking about the other stuff because yeah, it's also happening in my back as well. - Oh my god. - What if you're having a baby? - I actually-- - You're well.
Anything to get birthed. - Oh, and I can't. - No one would appreciate the birthing experience more than this. - That's true. - This guy, right. - I would complain about it so bad. - A seahorse kind of bit. - I would complain about it so so bad. - Yeah, but you'd be like, it's a miracle, it's a miracle. - Yeah, that's so too. - I can't wait to be a dad. I think I'm gonna be really good at it. - You are gonna be an amazing dad. - You're not doing it, right? No. - No. - No, no, no, no. - No, you're not either. - No. - See, this is the problem. - I literally, you want to know something funny. I went to something like an event the other day, and I got interviewed, and she asked me about the wedding attendant, and at the end she goes, "When are you gonna have kids?" Which feels like a 1950s question to ask me. - Yeah. - So then I went, "Oh, never, ever, ever." That's what I said. - Oh, then she was like, "Never in a billion, 100 million years." - Like literally, never, ever, ever, and also never. - Next question, Stacey. - Yeah, and then she was like, "Oh, okay." So that's where I'm at with kids. The fact that it's 95 degrees, and it's September. - Yeah. - And it's Halloween. - Actually, sorry. - It's always been like that. - Yeah. I know I'm saying it's only getting worse. - The temperature has always been like this. I think everything is normal. None of the ice is going anywhere that it's not supposed to go. - No diseases are being unlocked. - In my opinion, nothing is going on. - Yeah, that's true. - And my kids will deal with nothing. - That's true, except that's stomach pain. - Yeah, the only thing really going on, I'm so glad you brought that up, because I was eating and talking about the other stuff. No, but we didn't get to hear your small town things were. - What would you be? - I was thinking about it while you were elaborating on your ice cream parlor. I feel like I would be in public works. - Absolutely. - Like I'd be organizing when we have the fair. - Wow. - Or we have a fundraiser, or a dog show. I'm just cooking up ideas that are bringing very little money, but they are bringing me joy. - Yeah. - Book fairs. - Yeah, book fairs. Things that kids didn't ask for, but I'm like that would be awesome. Hay rides. - Yeah. - That classic public works job. - Right. - You know the one. - You know the one. - I mean, it's my small town. I'm just making up a job. - She's 60 and bald. - Right. - Yeah. - And she has an ice cream parlor. - Oh. - We have no other building town. - With the old touching house. - Yeah. (upbeat music) - Halloween questions. - Yeah. - Let's tell some Halloween. - Do you guys have any scary stories from your life? - Scary things that have happened to you at all ever. - That have ever happened to me? - Like scary situations you found yourself in. - Yeah, but it's not like spooky. It's just like-- - Oh, it's just gonna be like sad and upsetting. - No, it's like I evaded death. It's also kind of inspiring and uplifting. - I would love to hear it. - Yeah, it's not that eventful. So I'll just kind of ease into it. I was driving. I was in Texas. It was pouring rain. In Texas, it's humid. It's very humid when it rains in the summer. And it was late at night. And I was traveling from one big city to another. And the highways in Texas are just spaghetti bowls. Mind you, I'm a new driver. I'm like 19-20. And I was driving to see my boyfriend at the time in college. Now, did this man care about me at all? - No. - Was I driving in the middle of the night? Do you see him? - Yes! - Absolutely. - Yeah, to him in a storm. - To him in a storm? Literally barefoot uphill both ways. And I'm driving. And my windshield starts to fog up. And I'm like, I don't know how to use a car. I'm pressing every button. I'm like, where's the DQ-minifier? - DQ-minifier. - DQ-minifier. - DQ-minifier. And then I'm like, it completely fogs up. We're going 80 miles an hour. I'm on the highway. I'm in the far left lane. There's no side lane. And I'm thinking, this is it. This is how I die. It's fine. I like out the window. Like a dog. Put my head out the window. And I'm driving like this. - You're Fred Flintstone? - Yeah. - Yeah, I was Fred Flintstone. - He had the bottom running. - Yeah. My tongue's out my mouth. He's lying here. That's another cartoon bit. - Yeah. - Did you get that one? - Your head's out the roof like a giraffe. - Exactly. And I finally, like, I have to pull over. So I slow down and I put the flashers on. And I, like, I figured it out. And then I pressed the button. And I was like, oh, thank God. Mind you, like, cars are swerving around me. Because there's no street lamps. And I was like, please, please help me. Please help me. Please help me. Universal. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And then I figured it out. Roll the window back up. Wait until it merged on. That was fine. That was like one of the scariest moments of my life. Because car stuff also makes me really scared. - That's really scary. Likewise. - Likewise. - I'm really glad you survived that. - Thank you so much. - Did you guys ever watch the show I survived? - Hey, yeah. I've seen enough of you. Yeah. - I've only felt very comforted by it. - Really? - Yeah, because they survived. (laughing) I was into that. Like, it was like the things they were talking about were okay. That's bad. - Story of hope. - That's true. - But then it's like you did survive. - That's fair. - I was watching more like the girl who was addicted to eating deodorant. - I've seen that too. - True life. - Yeah. - Dore my strange addiction. - My strange addiction, yeah. - I was getting into all that kind of stuff. - Did you guys ever watch monsters inside me? (laughing) - No. What was that? - I was like, like, stories of them getting bit by things. - Jumbo worms. - Yeah, like just the most insane insects and then like awful things happening. There's a story to this. I watched this episode once and the spider bit this girl. And then she got this thing called leash maniasis. That literally just was a flesh eating disease. It just ate her whole leg. I watched that when I was like nine. - Right. - Fast forward to like the first couple months I'm dating Billy. We're like in a group of mixed people. And he likes to just say things and people don't react to it because he's handsome. And I think that's why he likes me because I'm like, "Why are you saying stuff like that?" So then where he makes a show. - You fought him. - He loves like word association. So like he say word, he'll say something else. That's not related to what you said. And so this girl said the word leash. And he goes, leash maniasis. And then I go, did you just say leash maniasis? He goes, yeah, do you know what that is? And I go, yeah, it's a flesh eating disease. You get from a spider. And then he went, I love you. - He liked that's beautiful. - Yeah, he found love with me over a flesh eating disease. - Have you guys said I love you yet? - We had just said it like a week before that. - I would have been cool if that was the first time. - It was still cool anyway, but that would have been really cool. - But it was weird because then when we talked about it after he said, I watched this program called Monsters Inside Us. - Oh. - That's where I watched it. - Wow. - It was a plane visible string. - Yeah. - Alexa. - Alexa, plane visible string. - plane visible string. - You guys don't even know I would do anything for you. - Likewise. - You don't even understand. - You're sitting across from me right now. You don't even understand the kind of stuff I would do for you. - You tore muscle in your stomach for us. - No, there's something going on with this stomach. - Okay. Would you need a Tylenol? - No, I just want everyone to be aware that tomorrow, when I wake up, I'm going to basically sleep it off. - You're going to file workman's comp. - I'm going to sleep it off tonight. And tomorrow, if I wake up in my stomach feels weird still, something will have to be done. - If you could go to the store this aside. If you could go to this like imaginary store I'm creating and swap a body part, what would you swap? - I would swap out my ankles. - What's wrong with them? - My dancers, ankles. No, they're just so weak. I literally swear I feel like when I walk, my ankles are just wobbling. That's why I cannot ice skate. Like do not invite me to ice skate. - No. - Because when I'm on there, my toes are gripping the inside of my skates like my life depends on it. It's not fun. - You're sweating through my cute card again. What the hell? - Don't invite me to this. - No, because why is this literally frozen under me and I'm dripping into it? - And I'm sweating through my cable knit sweater. I can't even take a cute pic, whatever. - I have no idea you were going through that. - Yeah, ice skating is a big sore spot for me. - I didn't know that. - Did you have dreams of grander as a child? You want to ice skate real bad? - Well, I did love the movie Ice Princess. - Absolutely. - I love the movie. - Once again, we're connecting on something. - He cannot reach. - Yeah, it's fair. - There's a table between me and you guys. And there's also some cultural references going on. And then between that and knowing that you guys both did a high kick with no consequences. Of course, I'm doing some distance. (laughing) Of course, I'm feeling-- - It's to be expected. - I feel like I'm standing on the other side of a freaking ocean from my friends. - Don't feel like that. - Yeah, don't. Close the gap. - The claw. - The claw. - The claw. - The claw. - The claw. - No, but in all seriousness. Do what my body parts want? - Yeah, I said my ankles. - What would you like? - You did your ankles. - Yeah. I just need strong ones. I need more meat on my bones. - Yeah, more ankle meat. - Yeah, I need more ankle meat. I'm like all of me's plus size except my ankles. - That's good. - Skinniest ankles you've ever seen. - Yeah, you literally want to put 300 pounds on these bony ankles. - So I feel about my knees. I'm like, really? And it's genetic. - My whole family. - Yeah, you lean down. I could literally do it. But I won't. They crack. They pop. - Yeah. - Yeah. - They crack. But I won't. - They crack. They pop. - Snap crackle pop. - Really? - They have since I was a teenager. - And it runs in the family. And I can tell by your tone that you intensely care. - No, I do. I'm so interested. - I run in your family. You know it runs in my family. Gout. - Now what is Gout? - Well, tell you what. It's eating too much salt. I'll tell you what Gout is. You give it to yourself. - Okay. - That's what that is. - This runs in my family. By that I mean we're all just doing it. - Yeah. And I'm so serious about it. We're just giving it to ourselves. - I'm really, really trying to think of my body part. - Yeah. - That you swap. - Permanently. - Permanently. - You're just like this could use an upgrade. And maybe like utility. - It's not really a body part. So much as a thing I'd like to do. - Okay, go ahead and share it. - I wish I could jump really high and run really fast. So would that be legs? - Yeah. - My legs are already strong. I think it would be fat. Is what's holding me back. - That's not necessarily true. - Your cardiovascular system. - Nobody fat can jump really high or run really fast.
It's more like the spring in your knee some fat people can run really fast some fat people can run really fast some You're looking at one. It's rare. You cannot run that fast. You don't know me What you don't want to see the next one? The majority time. You know what's funny me and really have joked about my 40 time What's your pretty time? I think and this is me being Like I'm being so serious. I think I could run like a five-two Five seconds. I think she could run 40 yards in five seconds. I'm gonna tell you right now Your 40 time is 10 seconds and something then what's yours 15 yours is 13 and something Mine is in the 40 range. Yeah, I'm running a yard a second. You're clocking mine But you hurt your stomach kicking. Yeah, absolutely, and I'm saying my 40 is worse than yours I'm looking at everything your right because NFL players can run a five-two. Okay, realistically probably like an eight You think so at my fastest I would say how how fast did you all run the mile in middle school? I didn't run the mile in middle school. I was a moral opposition. You were you were exempt. I was a conscientious objector That I didn't know that was an option by the way. I was a conscientious objector to running the mile Okay, he said I have a period cramps the day of the mile and they let him set out I would try to figure out what day we were running the mile and I wouldn't bring my gym clothes And I did it two times in a row and my gym teacher pulled me aside and said it's enough And I said it's not enough. I don't think I should have to run the mile. That doesn't make any sense Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. I was like fastest my old time was seven minutes. Really? That was my fastest one ever but again I was like 11 12. You were also an athlete. My fastest mile I ever did was 15 minutes And that was me trying that's okay. I like really gave it that's okay. That's okay. That's okay I walked in with my other kids. You what you ran it really fast because you were an athlete. Yeah, you tried now Why were you trying now? I felt like I had to and I also like I just hate physical activity like I really really I'm not a fan of doing anything physical and so I was like I'm really going to push myself 15 was all I had in me I guess that's not bad though I mean it's okay. It's not bad. It's okay. It's kind of bad. It's kind of bad. It's like not anything to write home about No. In fact, it's like laughable. Totally. If anything, it makes me the butt of the joke and that's okay That's all right. 100% fine when I was in middle school We used to do these things called units where they would like you could pick what sport you wanted to learn for like the quarter It's kind of cool. Yeah, but we had things like like regular sports like soccer, flag football, whatever But then we would have things like archery like we had one that was called circus where we would learn how to write a unicycle juggle and do those little rods where you balance that thing in between Billy thinks I'm making that up But I'm so serious. That is a real school. I went to And like they were just like yeah, I mean and then one was called lawn games, which was like bachee ball croquet Like old people stuff of course. Yeah, that's how I learned how to play bachee ball like I have a lot of information about many Nane things that will never serve me, you know in high school the sport I picked Golf, it was awesome. Were you good at it? No, of course not okay, and I sat out half the meat because I had diarrhea Awesome. What is going on in that stomach? Well, I don't have a gallbladder, so that has made it worse Maybe you've sprained your gallbladder What's going on in my stomach is not anything that any of us can get to the bottom of here tonight all right That's between me and an urgent care tomorrow That's between me and the hospital tomorrow morning. Does the EMT is between me and the mouse. I still get mad about the mile I like how you're morally objecting. I did I was a conscientious director I was like this much of nothing what about fitness grandpacer test? What oh the grant the past this grandpacer test Do you have to do that is that like presidential fitness? No, it's different This is it's literally a beeping machine and you just run back and forth as many times as you can But the beeps get shorter in between yeah, so it's like you don't run forever I used to do it in soccer all the time. It was like a government mandated thing You never did that now that in scoliosis. Yep and do that you guys have scoliosis I just imagine Caleb always being the one to take things a little like guys. Can we please like take this serious 100% I think that was me. Yes. Yeah, a lot of times it was yeah I sent I sent Caleb a meme on Instagram that was like you ever see someone to just know that they were super involved on campus And I said that's you and I was right running it like the Navy I love that this cookie is gonna make my mouth were way drier than I thought well You like super involved in high school too. Yeah, like in student council ASB that kind of thing. Oh, yeah. What's ASB? Like student body stuff like you plan dances. Oh, yeah, that kind of thing. Oh, yeah, it's treat time Go ahead and take the whole thing for me if you're gonna take one. Okay Destroy the display for me. Well, they said that's a prop. We help her bring that don't eat that We hold on the cup and then you'll pick that up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, ready Nice it was the caramel I Don't want the man. It's your man Jack's these treats are available at candy palace and candy kitchen on Main Street USA I'm enjoying the shortbread back cookie But let me see I want to see what I want to like take a take a piece of I don't know why people are laughing. I am enjoying this shortbread back cookie. I might not make you mummy macaron really Mummy macaron. Wait, I want a cake pop actually have a cake pop. Okay. Okay, hold on. Let me read mine What's mine? Drew's enjoying a mini skeleton. No, no, Mickey goes cake pop Go shaped vanilla cake pop. You never did theater in school, right? I took theater What does that mean? It was a class like a class? Yeah, like I took a class and I did like I That was my favorite class ever but I took it very seriously I felt like everyone was taking it as like an elective, but I took it very seriously Okay Okay, Brittany what's going on with you? The Mickey macaroon You have all over your hoof Your hoof get it together my triad your pencil is covered in stuff I drooled on myself as well. It was so good. I drooled brown. Okay, we're not getting invited back No, obviously we're not getting invited back Brittany's drooling on herself. We're sweating through our costumes And she's been farting all time. What do you guys think? Okay, let me ask you this When this friendship eventually blows up and ends. Right. Yeah. What do you guys think will be the cause of it? And don't say whatever's happening with my stomach right now from the kick. No Wasn't going to because the bit was dead No, it's not a bit I'll show y'all and zip this right now and show you what's going to blow up our friendship for when this friendship blows up What do you think is going to be the cause? Hmm, it's got to be like We're the type of people where it would be something financial. Yeah, yeah, you steal from me. Yeah, I thought a thrup old break up Brittany steals from me now. Yeah, like yeah, I would say I would like skim off the top Or I would like it would be something money related and then one of us would tell the other and then I would get them in on it And then it would be against one of you. Yeah, yeah, that is totally true I was thinking like I walk in on you guys and we agreed to talk about You know acting alone outside of the thrup old. Yeah, like we had to set those boundaries early Mickey cake pop for you Mickey make it look Mickey ghost cake pop for you Queen. Mickey ghost cake pop tonight queen Queen Mickey goes cake pop Queen Mickey goes cake pop tonight queen I can't in the closed-down park at 2 a.m. Queens from Mickey ghost cake pop W ID Mickey ghost cake pop is calling are you answering? Hello Yellow Mickey ghost cake pop I said if you want to play a game I always want to play you Loki It's really good if they put me in the movie saw right they put me in a saw from the movie saw I do feel that I would survive it Like being sawed if you if saw you know just the game. Yeah, who puts people in the room. Oh, yeah Jigsaw Jigsaw if he put me in one of his rooms I think I would survive it because the whole thing was like oh You've been evil you haven't appreciated being alive now you have to cut a key out of your eyeball if you want to live Guess what? I'll cut that key out of my eyeball. No. I'll cut that key out of my eyeball I don't care. I'll do anything to live except diet and exercise A couple of asterix in there. Okay I also feel that you could be able to Wardsmith your way I feel like you would charm your way you would charm your way out of that room. Yeah I would first of all never end up in the saw because No one appreciates life and it's a little pleasure is more than me and I can so I would see that you know That sunset edit of his soliloquy on Sunset girl Appreciate Sunset's the way you should I agree. I you know what you're their number one fan. I love a sunset. Yeah, that's true It's to the point now where people send me their sunsets. I love that and that means everything to me And I think saw if he were to if he were to find me if he really got to know you for real If so I got to know me he would take you out of the trap your camera roll alone would prove to him that You're not deserving of being in that trap. I don't deserve to be in trap
And I think Saul would see that that's true. He would and I think both of you by the way I don't say this just because we're on a podcast episode together right now or just because you guys are two of my closest friends I really think both of you guys would survive trap from Saul I think you were put in there if I was put in there. I think so too. Yeah, I think he would just get so tired of me Not listening that he would let me out. Yeah, he would just be like, oh my god. Okay, get up. Yeah I'm not doing that. Yeah, he's like No, I like dig it out of your eye. No, no, no, I don't want to do that. I'm gonna kill you. Okay Well hurry up. It's hot in here. No, for real. Can you at least put the AC on? Yeah, like I see it It's like a wall. Yeah, I was like I can literally see I know it goes lower than 68. I saw a text I know you have the remote. I know you have the remote. I literally saw a TikTok on hacking the A.C He's like the remote in your eye you have to cut out the remote. Okay. I'm not doing now. I'm gonna do it We're talking temperature AC. I'll do anything. Okay. Okay. God. I need AC so bad me too in my life going to Europe is such a challenging thing that can happen Agreed when it's hot and they don't have any of it no in France like they have no air conditioning and no elevators Like like updated one or when they do have an elevator. It's really scary. It's like that police system one They made elevators before they knew people could be like me Yeah, one time I was in for you dropped right for real before they got this big Those went door frames were like drawer. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I literally went and we were in Paris and me Dyson and Billy got in the same elevator and then as soon as the door is closed It's at max weight 220 pounds and these goes we're way heavier than that I guess we'll find out You're clicking the door open button. It's the tower star music. I just also think I would have survived Titanic I'm so sorry. I would have gotten on one of those little boats. I'm telling I honest to God. Wait. Can I say I think I would have too I would have gotten on one of those I'm getting on one of the little boats. You're letting my women children and Caleb I'm getting on one of those little boats. You know my heart. You know my heart. Look at me saw Don't put me in trap. You know me put me on the little boat with the women and children because the women and children would have wanted me there They would have said can Caleb come and you know you would really have to work because you know You would be below deck on that Titanic. Oh 100% yeah. Okay. Here's a question for you guys. What's here? I'll start with Drew Me and Brittany are both drowning you have one life raft. Who do you throw it to? I'm gonna say you Because you're stronger than her so you can help her But if I throw it to her she can't help you Britney's not showing it right now, but that did hurt her feelings No, but see my logic is there the the ace. I did the beside didn't are you a strong swimmer moderate Strong strong swimmer. Well, then I got to give it to the strong swimmer and you you would take me in your arms and figure it out It depends on what my situation was Well, the situation is you're floating in the water and you only have one light wrap if it if I felt like we could both survive Yes, I would take you in my arms and I would save you But if it felt even for a second like I was in danger I would not Just to keep it real So can we talk after? Yeah, before we do yeah, you're on the boat Drew and I are both drowning you have one life raft Who are you saving? I mean, I'll probably go with Jews logic as well But ultimately it would kind of be like a you know, I'm stronger than Caleb Yeah, and I kind of think it would be like a gamified thing. So I'll just have the ocean save me That's really beautiful. I really respect that answer and I understand that completely. We lack that Yeah, you don't have a connection. No, you're connected to nature in a way that I am trying I'm striving to achieve Do you are connected to nature? Do you feel that you're connected to nature? Not very closely, not completely. Yeah, you've separated yourself from earth. I love Yeah, I love sitting in my house. You do love it indoors. I don't like to walk. I like to sit in my house We covered the AC bed. Yeah, it's kind of you know Yeah, okay, if someone's like we should go Look at the ocean or whatever. I'd be like, okay. Well, sometimes it's just time to go And when I'm ready to go it needs to happen asap. That's true. I do not like waiting around That's sure you do hate that. I don't like waiting around. I don't like the I don't like the 37 minute goodbye Goodbye, and then we go. That's what I like. That's what I like. Great. Yeah You know what I mean? And y'all didn't ask me the life raft question. Okay, if you only had one life raft Who would you throw it to? I would never ever ever play that game Hope a guy seriously. It's messed up what you've been saying. I was DMing CEOs asking for internships And it was really embed that's even more embarrassing. Okay, David Goggins truly truly me on LinkedIn being like I love an opportunity with your company They're like your step. What is going on on Twitter? Yeah, dude. I was on Twitter back in the day. I know I literally told Britney I heard about you first on Twitter. I followed you on Twitter for years dude. I was on Twitter crazy stuff You were I loved that app. That was like my favorite Twitter was the bomb back in the day was remember trending topics on Twitter. Yeah There's a ring of food around the way you're yeah, there's a real like peanut shells all around you No, I was covered in cookie for a little bit. I was covered in cookie for a little bit. Yeah Yeah, training topics was crazy dude Twitter. You should be so fun like I know you feel like genuinely place I agree like things would pop off and you be like I got I literally have to get to Twitter right now I agree when I first started doing this one of the first times I trended on Twitter I was talking about PB and J sandwiches. Yeah, because I said PB and J sandwiches are the worst sandwich combination of all time and one day you guys will be brave enough to have that conversation with me. Oh, I meant that The amount of hate that I got Right now and I still mean that right now really think about Elvis's favorite sandwich. Oh my god banana and bacon a bunch of lard
In between to be red max. Peanut butter banana bacon's actually sick. I literally I don't like peanut butter and jelly Just generally speaking, but I also like I just think if I'm gonna pick a sandwich like why would I pick one with nightmare textures and no meat? No, it's tough. No meat is tough. All the sandwich options to pick like I'm not picking that one. You're like a grilled cheese. I love a grilled cheese That's a similar texture in my opinion. Not salty though. That's a decent. That's a decent point. It's all the mushing of it That's why I'm like, I'm good. And then the top of my mouth looks like stalagmides. I'm over it Over it. I'm not doing it. You ever do a bacon tomato grilled cheese? Bacon. Oh bacon tomato. Yeah, that's fire. Balm. Yeah, that's fire. You dip it. Balm in tomato soup. Yeah He said no. No, you would Grandville will Grandville the restaurant chain delicious. They have a Parmesan crusted grilled cheese Like Parmesan cheese crust on the outside and then a little tomato sauce like dipping when I tell you I felt like the first time I ate that I felt like I wanted to rip off my shirt beat my chest like a gorilla That's how excited it made me. I literally was like the most delicious sandwich I've ever had in my life I live with me. I was passionate about it. Yeah. I really I felt like Remy when he's like eating and he's like all the fruit Stancing around him. Yeah, or his favor. You posted about this a lot. I did I posted like a whole like four parts part story series on the girl cheese walls of text Read no. I related to you. Oh, well girl can't be passionate about a sandwich. Oh, let's make fun of the girl who took a creative risk I took my hoof off because it's smeared with chocolate and cookie and cake and my drool Really the feeling in my stomach might just be like hunger or something would yeah, maybe I've had so many snacks It couldn't possibly be but where it where is it located regionally? Yeah, I'm gonna say it feels connected to the kick In a way where you're like it shouldn't feel that way down there, right? And obviously I don't want to bring it back to this but I was gonna ask if either of you guys brought us so true Oh, oh, oh, yeah, the name of the podcast the name of the podcast Reason why we're oh, yeah, I know you're in good company. No one's ever thought of one I think that Everyone could benefit from being in an MLM just for a little. Oh, yeah Because I think like people and first of all you like learn go to be a go-getter because you're virtually unemployed So you like you have to do something you feel what you eat, but there is something that you shed Like in terms of like humility Yes, when you have to pedal like oils to your family. You get your shame out of that When you start doing power points in the living room and being like with a hundred dollars invested in me I could get your business started when you're doing that in your own living room You start to learn like maybe I don't care what other people think of me. Yeah, you know me like when you start going to places And you start reading like the power of zero or Like fanatical prospecting and you're like this is like my thing now I think this is what like girls got cookies and stuff right all of the kids groups have and I have to say MLMs are not illegal They're just at most annoying. Yeah more than anything they're annoying and it's not illegal to be annoying. No, it's not It is a nuisance, but it's not legal exactly and I think everyone could benefit from that I think people would learn confidence an MLM is a great training ground. I'm telling you like especially if you want to be an entertainment Yeah, you gotta shed something. I think the same could be said about just working retail jobs That's it like that will teach you how the average American Treats a service worker, and it'll make you rethink how you walk into places. Yeah, like you've ever had to go into a family party And you know that the family's going and remember he's selling the knives so like just just look into the pitch Buy a knife if you have $50 just like listen to the pitch. It's fine. Like he's not he's not hurting anyone That's really true. I think shedding shame is a huge part of I think so. I think to lead lead a happy and fulfilled life But again, you can't stand for too long. No, something terrible. Staying in for too long is the problem. Yeah Staying in for too long and buying in too hard. Yeah, you'll start you know preparing a bunker and you'll start moving in with 25 people the bunker people low key these days are coming out looking pretty good. No, that's true Like every day a bunker sounds cooler and cooler to me. That's true. It's like it would make more sense to have one like having a bunker Is low key getting kind of go to Sheek the the bunker people will the funny thing about bunker people is at some point in some time in history In the future you will turn out to be good. That's true. And they'll be like everyone laughed at me when I bought all the Clorox It just sucks if you've been a bunker person since like the 80s. It's like okay. Well, no, everyone's doing it. Yeah What's such or do you something so true to me is the art of hosting has been lost and And like at home or like yeah, you are no at home. Oh to hosting people at your house hosting a dinner party being a good host that used to be bread and butter of like community and like forming connections and eating sharing a meal together having activities I always make sure when I have people over there is a candle burning me too, right? We're both pretty good at this We offer beverages. So do you you are a fantastic host as well. That's true. Caleb is a wonderful host It's it's a lost art form and we were just talking about Drew wants to do like everyone bring a dip or an appetizer or a platter I'm planning a whole night and like that is what I'm talking about. Yeah, that is direction Yes, my one of my doesn't have all his parties too. Yes, I love it one of my other friends through a party recently There was like where the outfit that you don't have an occasion for that's a cool one fun That's like you that's what I'm talking about like that set out things for your guests make sure they never have an empty drink Like make sure that the bathroom and you're working the room and they're all shuffling talking to new people They're making connections. Yeah, yeah, that's my so true. That's really beautiful. I really appreciate that from you Okay, projections and trends before we move on. Yeah, end of this year this episode's coming out in October What are you guys seeing for the fallen winter? What's big? What's hot? What are we avoiding? What are we leaving behind as we move? Into the fall winter. What are we stepping into? I'll go ahead and kick things off. Happy to do it We're stepping into going to the theater with your friends It can be any kind of theater. It can be live theater. It can be movie theater It can also be I'll just even say opera something like that. Love. Hey, we're going to Performances with our friends. I think that's watching our in real life real life real-time. Yes Um, I think we're leaving behind. Gosh, what do I want us to leave behind? I Don't know. I don't even know what people are doing. I like I'm not up on trends But I think we're leaving behind basically just give me a call if there's anything that you're like should we be doing this? I would be happy to let you know yes or no. Okay. I'll just sign off on anything. Right. And that's not just for you guys That's for the listeners as well. Something that's in is ask me my opinion. I will give it something that's in is I approve stuff Okay, yeah, something that's out there unapproved the mayor the mayor. Yeah, unapproved behaviors are out. Yes That's right. They have to be Caleb Herron approved behaviors. I think some really interesting things could come from that and I'm not even kind of kidding No, I think that's true. I think you would clean up quickly if all of the actions came across your death if everything flowed through me Yeah, it would be interesting to see what we could do. We'd get a couple things done. I'd say only a couple Yeah, but a couple but I think they'd be big ones as well. I agree. You guys see anything coming up? We need to know about I'm just giving you an opportunity here We can cut this if you've got nothing we can cut. No, no, I can I can think of something easily What are we doing more of I? would say not Technology-based hangouts with friends community like going out in community even like going to a dog park and like trying to talk to people or like Joining a club like a local strangers. Yeah. Yeah, a local community thing like yeah I think getting involved in your community and like getting to know your neighbors I think that should be and get really good harder than you think it is. It's true Well, and it's also like we're such an individualistic society and now we're so isolated with technology Yeah, totally I like read this whole thing about like this really beautiful Sub-Sac about neighbors and like meeting her neighbor for the first time and it's like you don't even really have to become best friends But it's like if you need something in a pension neighbor. That's like the whole point of community. It's really beautiful So I think that's something we should be doing more of is reaching out to each other leaving behind Being hypercritical Yeah, of each other. I think we're being so so hypercritical. It's killing community more than anything Because it was scared to try anything exactly. I think it's like I was going to say print like leaving behind the fear of being cringe Or being perceived as cringe or whatever. Yeah, cringes like it's so like the nonchalant thing I think it's not it's cool to care about stuff and it's cool to be passionate about stuff And it's not cool to be hyperjudgmental with people who do care about stuff and I would say to add on to that My out is bean soup theory. Yeah God bless you God bless you for not knowing honestly God bless you Bean soup theory is a TikTok local theory. This woman came on the internet. Well, and you're about to get it's about to get worse This woman came on the internet and said here's how I make my bean soup someone comments. I don't like beans How do I make this? What if I don't like beans? Then don't make it She goes maybe this isn't for you. Maybe don't make this that one moment has Spiraled into this whole larger discourse online of this what about me ism. Yeah, and it's like you
You don't have to make a commentary video on something that does not apply to you. Right. Not everything is for me. And that's okay. I also think we should listen and watch to enjoy not necessarily always to critique. Yeah. Because you know how many things I watch and I'm like, God, that was terrible. I had a blast. Yeah. Like we need bad art. Bad art needs to exist. Like it does. Short native. We need it. We need short native. And I just watched the end of Oak Street. That movie is bonkers. Oh my God. Insane. Plot when I said, what on earth? Had a blast. Had a great time. Loved it. Love it. Did you have fun? Should be a bigger question. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Less analyzing and criticizing mortgages. That was fun. 95 degrees at two in the morning. You guys mind if I have a Mickey cake pop? Well, the world ends. You guys mind? Is that alright? Y'all mind if I sweat through this velour suit in front of the pumpkin? It's tear my Achilles with my arm. Y'all mind if I rupture something in my stomach? What is it illegal now to have a really warm feeling in your stomach after doing a high kick? I didn't think so. You guys want to play a game? Let's play a game. Let's play a game. Alright, y'all. You know the drill. I'm going to read you 15 statements. We'll start with you, Drew, and then we'll go back and forth. Okay. If you get, I'm going to hit the cake pop for me, Brittany.
