Breathwork - Emotional Clearing

This guided breathwork session is designed to help individuals release stored emotions. It begins by encouraging a comfortable, non-judgmental mindset, emphasizing that there is no wrong way to engage in the healing process. The core practice involves a specific breathing pattern—inhaling twice through the nose and letting the exhale fall out—to create physiological changes that allow for emotional transformation. The guide explains that holding onto emotions consumes energy and that releasing them, though sometimes difficult, is a courageous step toward growth. The narration reassures participants that all emotions are valid and meant to be felt and released, not judged. It describes how the breath can help release stagnant energy from the body's cells, muscles, nervous system, and even generational patterns held in DNA. Following the intense breathing, the guide leads a visualization to fill the newly created internal space with positive feelings, such as memories of safety, pride, and love. The session concludes by affirming the participant's effort and allowing time for rest, framing the work as a deep, internal healing process that fosters self-compassion and empathy for others.

Welcome to the being portal breathwork to clear out emotions. First check in with yourself and give yourself a little bit of gratitude for coming here to this moment to look inside yourself for an emotion that you are ready to release. That's a big task, it's a big undertaking and you've already accomplished a lot by just showing up. We're going to do this breathwork laying down. We're going to get cozy and we're going to listen to our bodies. If you need to pause right now so that you can go get anything that you need to feel comfortable, whether it's a cozy pair of socks or a pillow or a stuffed animal, maybe an eye mask, just get as comfortable and as cozy as you possibly can. Just remember that when we do any healing work or when we do breathwork, whatever happens is what's meant to happen. There's no wrong way to heal yourself. So don't worry that you've done it wrong or that you took too long of a break because however much effort you put into it is what you were able to do that day and that's fine. You will release what you need to release and what you're ready to release. That being said, when we start the breathwork, this type of breathing is going to create the physiological change needed to have a state of transformation. So the more you stick with it, the deeper you will go. But again, if you're not ready to go deep, that's okay. You're going to start with closing your eyes, laying down and you're going to breathe through your nose. You're going to go twice on the inhale and then you're going to exhale and just let the breath fall out of your nose and it's going to sound like this. Keep following along with this breath and I'll guide you to release emotions that you are ready to release. A long time ago you weren't ready to feel an emotion so you've been keeping it inside of you until you were ready. It takes a lot of energy to keep an emotion inside and now you are ready for it to release and you're ready to let go of that so that your energy can be free for your growth. Despite being here right now, it shows that you are ready to release and let go. You can trust what will happen without carrying around that emotion. You don't need it for protection anymore. You have been doing habits and living in patterns to avoid feeling the emotion for a long time and you are ready to let go of those too. You won't need them anymore. At one point in time they may have protected you but now they are holding you back. You don't have to hold on to any of it anymore and when you let go of the emotion it will feel good to process it and release it. No emotions are bad. They are just meant to be felt and released. It doesn't say anything about you to have an emotion. You are ready for a release and you are ready to let go of anything that is not you. Keep going with the breath. Keep going deeper. More and more in words. The more you follow the waves of the breath, the more of an emotional release you'll get. Each breath brings you closer to a state of release. Each breath creates little spaces between your cells for fresh blood to get in and flush away any stagnant energy or emotions that have been hiding in there. It could be in your brain, in your feet, in your pelvis, in your hands. Anywhere we've been holding on to something. Anywhere where we have tensions that we don't realize that could be stored emotions. And when we breathe, we let our body know that it's time to release that. We're ready. The breath will enter into the muscles and fascia and let it all go. It will enter your brain in your nervous system and help it release anything that's holding on to that it doesn't need. It will enter into your DNA and release your generational emotions that you've been holding on to. It will enter into every organ and gland to release what they hold so that you can be free again. Every part of you is ready to let go of whatever you don't need. Your body has been asking for this release and you are showing up right now to honor that. You feel safe, protected and ready to release. You feel grateful for these emotions and the experiences that brought them. If you didn't have the experience of feeling these emotions, then we wouldn't be able to empathize with another person when they're struggling. That is the gift in the darkness of feeling things like fear, grief, sadness, hopelessness, shame. The gift is that when we feel grateful for them, we can better connect with another human being. That gift is invaluable. Think of all the people in your life who were able to empathize with your situation because they had felt the same at one point in time and how that made you feel like you weren't alone. Keep following it. Keep going deeper. You're almost there and you're doing a really great job so far. It's not easy to go deep inside of ourselves and pull out the things that we don't need anymore. There's so many layers. When we have an emotion that we've been holding on to for a long time, we start to build layers and layers on top of that emotion so that we never need to feel it. In these layers, usually look like different habits, different patterns. Maybe it's working too much at a job that we don't like. Maybe it's dating the wrong people. Maybe it's keeping ourselves small so that we don't have to feel the fear of living out our dreams. There are so many ways that holding onto emotions can affect our body. It can even make us sick. So showing up today and working to release an emotion that you've been holding onto is very courageous. Courage is one of the best emotions because it means that we are acknowledging that we're fearful but we're doing it anyways. You should be proud of yourself. Going with the breath, I know it's not easy. If you need to take small breaks, take them but just know. Keeping with this breath is going to put you in the state to have big emotional release. You're almost there. Just a few more cleansing breaths and make these ones count. Picture this breath going deep inside of you and helping to clear out anything you don't need anymore. This is the same air that has been circling around earth for millions of years. It has been gently passed back and forth from humans and animals to the trees and the plants and the algae. We have all been helping each other breathe for as long as we've been here. Every time you take a breath in, you are taking in a gift from the earth and every time you take a breath out, you're gifting the plants. Use this wisdom from nature to help yourself heal. When you're ready, let your breath come back to a normal state. You don't have to control it, you don't have to think about it. Just let your breath rise and fall like it's meant to. now showing us some patterns. (gentle music) (gentle music) As you're laying here, I want you to reach your right hand up to the sky. We're gonna fill all the spaces that you just created with your breath, with love. You're gonna grab onto a memory that makes you feel safe. At the time where you just felt the most safe you've ever felt. You're gonna grab onto that memory with your right hand and you're gonna bring it down and you're gonna put it in your heart. That's yours to keep. You're gonna raise your right hand again. You're gonna grab onto something that you're proud of, a moment where you felt really proud of yourself. When you've got that moment, you're gonna bring it down and you're gonna place it in your heart. Fill all the spaces that you created with love for yourself. (gentle music) You're gonna raise your right hand again and you're gonna grab a memory where you felt loved. You're gonna think of the people that were involved. Maybe it was a pet. You're gonna really feel the love of that moment. You're gonna bring that down and you're gonna put that in your heart. You're gonna feel the spaces where all those emotions were with love until that's all that you radiate. When we create space with our breath, we create room for emotions to pass through us. There's nothing wrong with feeling anger or sadness or guilt, we just don't wanna hold onto it. Let those emotions come up. Let them come out. Feel them. Let those spaces be filled with love. (gentle music) I'm gonna leave you here to rest and take as long as you need. You did a really great job and you should be really proud of yourself for showing up today. This is how you do the deep work to heal and spread your thoughts by going inside.
