But my friend, Marcia, is going to talk to us about the TV business. Maria Bordaromo is going to be leaving Fox, and it's not entirely clear why. The feds are launching a probe, a DOJ probe, an investigation into Mr. Mamdami and what he may be up to. Because this is not exactly a crowd that's very hospitable to one. Zah! Mamdami, right about now, he actually decided to go down to Brooklyn into a woman's neighborhood who really didn't appreciate having him here or there under the circumstances. Let me show you the tape. Open it up, please. Hi, Mr. Mamdani. How are you? It's me, Stephanie Benchimol. You remember me? Remember last year when Trump freed the hostages? Sorry, guys. One second. You've got to move. It's all because of you. We have so much anti-Semitism. You've got to move. I can't believe you're in it. Don't push me. Don't push me. Have a seat. I can't believe that you're. You're in a Jewish store before Rosh Hashanah. You're causing all the anti-Semitism. You're not the ambassador for America. They're trying to calm her down. But you get why she's so upset. I mean, this is a guy who's trying to jail Netanyahu in violation of the ICC. Or rather, invalidation, I should say, of the ICC in violation of the State Department. Shame on you, Mamdani. Don't push me. I made a purchase here. I'm a customer. Until the owner, until the owner tells me to step outside. Why is he here? Why? All he wants to do is arrest Bibi Netanyahu. Shame on you. Remember, we're all watching you. We're watching your nonsense. You're in Borough Park. Don't push me. I'm not violent, and I have no weapons on me. Mamdani is in Borough Park. Do you see that? They brought Zohran Mamdani. The biggest anti-Semite is an Eichler is in Borough Park. They want to kiss ass to the hater of all Jewish people. Mamdani, you've met her match, your match. And there's more where she came from. And you see you get a problem right now because you're talking about 10% of the population that's experiencing more than half of all hate crimes right now. And so there's a concern there in the DOJ that he is actually encouraging this by much of his rhetoric, and not just against Jews, but also against whites, because he has been very vocal in his mistrust, shall we say, of the, quote unquote, class, you know, the elites, et cetera, but not in the same way that we talk about it, right? Like, we talk about, OK, you get the 1%ers up there, the kind of something. This is very different. This is very, like, racially charged, very religiously charged. And then you're seeing this pour out and over into what's happening in the streets in New York right now. And this is why this lady's so upset. There's a new report out today saying that hate crimes have actually surged up 16%. Under Mamdami, so he's touting, oh, you know, our police are doing so great, this, that, and the other. No, the hate crimes are up 367 incidents in 2025, now 425 so far this year. And if you look at those numbers, as I mentioned, the Jewish population in New York only accounts for 10% of the population, yet they're experiencing more than half of all of those hate crimes. So this is where the DOJ steps in, OK? This is where Harmeet Dhillon is like, OK, enough is enough is enough. In fact, she made a statement. She made a statement to the New York Post in which she's saying the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division is actively investigating and prosecuting hate crimes, including anti-Semitism in New York City and nationwide. The Civil Rights Division has an extensive and active portfolio of anti-Semitism enforcement, including indictments, prosecutions, settlements, and investigations across the country. And she has also said that there is indeed an investigation going on into Mamdami's office there in New York. So. In other words, they're going to be looking very closely at whatever's happening within the mayor's office, I hope, to try and get to the bottom of this. What does that mean for him? It could actually, in theory, if we take this forward and he is found to have been an agitator for this, it could cost him his job. Here's Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, calling out Mamdami, saying that the man they arrested for attacking his synagogue was, remember that incident that happened, I think it was back in April, was motivated by social media propaganda. You're saying that law enforcement says the man they arrested for attacking his synagogue in Sarasota, Florida, was motivated by social media propaganda. The man reportedly reposted your video, Mamdami, demonizing the Jewish state, words have consequences, your inflammatory rhetoric can lead to violence, and really taking him down. And I will say that it's telling. The mayor's office apparently did not respond to the post for any kind of comment on that. And yet we just keep hearing. Sort of similar rhetoric from him. As recently as today, there's a new interview. I'm going to show you a clip from it on Al Jazeera, where he is condemning the war with Iran. He seems to be on Iran's side. We know, of course, that he was trying to set up a meeting with the Iranians when they were in New York. You know, we're going to we're going to arrest Netanyahu and we're going to set up a meeting with the Iranians. Like, right. OK, yeah. Fetterman, who increasingly I keep saying out of. Come over to the other side and maybe think about becoming a Republican because his party has gotten so woke and so crazy and so nuts. He has come out in defense of everyone else in New York and really slammed Mamdami. I'll tell you, he wants no Mamdami, no El-Said, no Omar. It's like the party is in the middle of the civil war, really and truly. And you got all these crazy sort of socialist Islamic nut jobs that are pushing one version of things and then everybody else has got their head screwed on straight. And Fetterman's one of them saying stuff like this. And when now you have the mayor of a city, you are a mayor, dude. You're a mayor. You can fix a pothole. You can take out the trash. But you can't order people to arrest anybody any more than I could. You know, I could have him arrested if he goes to Pennsylvania. That's it's a joke. And he's a clown. And now he. Also said that that Netanyahu is not welcome in New York. You know, you can't say that any more than I could say, Mayor, you're not you're not welcome in Pennsylvania. So sit down. You know, you're a clown and you are just going to pander to the fringe. And that's part of your base. And I know you're angry at Netanyahu because he killed a lot of people you admire, whether like that, Sinwar or Nasrallah or Al-Khamenei in Iran. You know, he's that's. The guy that will only criticize the prime minister or Israel, but he never criticizes Hamas. He's never criticizing Hezbollah or Iran. I've never heard the mayor say and condemn Iran for killing 30, 40,000 of its young people just asking for democracy in their nation. Wow, wow, wow. Well, you know, thank you, Senator Fetterman, for that. And to everyone brave out there calling this out. I mean, I know that we can sit here and we can say. How the heck did they ever elect him? really know the answer to that. I do hope that people are waking up to the nightmare that has become New York. And hopefully, whatever the feds can do to crystallize that would be, of course, very well received by some of us, because, you know, the hipsters from Brooklyn, that's only going to get you so far. And the Democrat Socialists of America, which is banked, by the way, by the likes of Neville Singman over there in China. I mean, you got to really start questioning people's loyalties under these circumstances and question them big. And it's not just the Jewish population, per se, that he's going after. I mean, it's basically, if you were born in this country, forget about it, right? Because if you are here illegally, somehow you have more rights, I guess, in Mamdami's New York City than you would have anywhere else, and perhaps more rights than those who have been here legally and were born here legally. But on top of that, it's just basically, I'm sorry, but it's anybody who is not brown, right? Like, that's his whole thing. That's his whole thing. So this is expanding. And now the DOJ is going to be able to look at this with a very sort of wide swath. I mean, you think about what the DOJ has discovered vis-a-vis some of these Ivy League universities, Harvard in particular, that one went all the way to the Supreme Court and the decision was made. No, you can't discriminate against people because they're white. And by the way, ABC is learning this the hard way, too, with Disney, right? Because the FCC is now opening a full investigation into Disney and ABC that the judge has refused, a Biden-era judge has refused to throw out. And why are they doing that? Again, because they are discriminating. You can't discriminate against anyone, okay? Period. Full stop. And yet, Mamdami is absolutely going full on with his DEI bogus nonsense. And I would argue this is actually against the law, as they are about to prove with the FCC and Disney. And so when you find out that he's putting $10 million aside for all this nonsense, you ought to start scratching your head. He got it. He got all this money in his budget. Equity, $4.6 million commission on racial equity, $835,000 commission on gender equity, $260,000 for Department of Education chief diversity officer, $301,000 for three FDNY civilian chief diversity inclusion officers. There's a title for you. And $118,000 for an FDNY chief diversity officer. And $118,000 for an FDNY chief diversity inclusion officer. And $118,000 for a chief diversity inclusion officers. Is that necessary stuff? You can't cut that back? Obviously, you can. But Mamdami would say, no, no, no, no, no. That's the whole sort of base of what he's doing, right? This is his appeal. This is what he, you know, he's dangerous. I'm just going to say it. He's a dangerous guy. And so it's important that you actually do get the feds in there watching over him here. Don't forget, back in April, his whole plan was to take away property rights. He wants a racial equity plan. New York City, this is Brandon Straka, who put this on X, said New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdami unveils a racial equity plan directing resources towards black and brown New Yorkers across city agencies. There you go. What I tell you, critics argue the policy raises concerns over race-based treatment. Ah, you think? And so this is back when first her meat kind of tuned into this. And she said, geez, sounds fishy. Illegal will review. And so this is part of, you know, it's not just what's happening in terms of the hate crimes. It's also what's happening in terms of property rights. They don't want you to have any value in your property. I mean, don't forget who these people are. They are full on communists. And he had this to say about how there's all this racial inequity. And this is what he's determined to fix in housing. And while today's true cost of living measure confirms that the affordability crisis touches every corner of our city, we know that these effects are not applied evenly. So often it is black and brown New Yorkers who are hit the hardest. This preliminary racial equity plan is the first step in developing a whole of government approach to tackling that reality. It is a plan that lays out these first steps to solve decades of neglect and discrimination. And it places the work of 45 city agencies within a singular framework. And he's going to make sure he gets his hands on it somehow, some way, because he's forcing everybody to sell. Because he's going to make it so unlivable to be there, not to mention your taxes. I mean, for goodness sakes, now everybody, no matter what color their skin is, they're upset about this. Because I can't believe this. I've been misquoting this. If we hear this correctly, I think something like 900,000 people have had their records released. This is outrageous. It's basically like a hit list. I got property. Come and get it. Get me. Unbelievable. So how the administration published more than 900,000 names and addresses showed me that this is how the administration feels about. Okay. So I was right. So she's saying 900,000 names and addresses. So nearly a million. He put these all out there. And now you get even the Democrats in the city council meeting most recently saying, what the heck are you doing? Well, you know, he's a socialist, guys. And that's a fancy word for communist. You know, he's a socialist, right? He's a socialist. He's a socialist. He's a socialist. He's a socialist. They should show up and answer basic questions about the rollout. I mean, absolutely. I mean, this guy is a disaster. So we haven't even talked about Ms. Weaver. See ya, Weaver, the housing czar, who's a full blown communist and wants more communists to be elected. And she said some wild stuff. I mean, she's OK. She's the tenant advocate, if you would. She is calling for the seizure of private property. She doesn't want anybody to have private property. Nope. Blasted homeownership as a, quote, weapon of white supremacy. In a series of pro-communist social media posts that she has now taken down. But fortunately, the New York Post found C.O. Weaver, Mamdami's new director of the city office to protect tenants, made the statements and urged her followers to elect more communists in several lecturing posts on her now deleted X account that were just unearthed by Internet sleuths. OK, maybe maybe Internet sleuths. I get to give power to the Internet, not to New York Post there. Seize private property. She was writing back in June 2018. So, of course, you know, he found his girl. He found his girl. Private property, she wrote, including any kind of especially homeownership is a weapon of white supremacy. And then she also said in December 2017, when apparently a communist was elected there in her her area, quote, elect more communists. I mean, this is this is this is who you've got. OK, so this is why the feds need to get in there and they need to be really serious about. I want to go to C.O. Weaver because some of you have seen this before. Just crystallize the hate, frankly, that is filling this administration in New York City. And so that you can understand when you see statistics like this and the rise in hate crimes, you know, it's coming from someplace. OK, it's coming from someplace. It's coming from Mamdami and the rest of his crew. I think the reality is, is that for centuries we've really treated property. As an individualized good and not a collective good, and we are going to trend in transitioning to treating it. as a collective good and towards a model of shared equity will require that we think about it differently. And it will mean that families, especially white families, but some POC families who are homeowners as well, are going to have a different relationship to property than the one we currently have. Wow. Dream on, Sia. Dream on, dream on, dream on. You know, did you hear the soundbite? I played this on my shorts feed where Scott Besson, the Treasury Secretary, was like, all of these woke, hipster socialists, you know, they're a whole bunch of overeducated, underemployed people. And they're very, like, work-resistant. They don't want to go out there and, like, actually work for a living. They want to just be, you know, organizers, a la Obama, I guess, organizers in their effort. And, you know, they're really mad right now because their effort has been kind of demonetized because, you know, once we got rid of USAID and a few of those little programs along the way, all these nonprofits that would have helped sponsor them don't have quite the same budgets maybe that they used to. So they got to turn to China. I mean, they were always involved with China anyway. China, Iran, who knows? I mean, there's a big, big campaign. Against America going on right now. And I consider Mamdami and his entire crew over there to be part of it. You have only to look back again at another little gem from Ms. Sia Weaver. Democratically controlled public housing is really important. And that's why when Raquel is talking about the communities that she's describing, that, you know, that's a creative community where the people who are living there are, like, setting the agenda. And so, you know, people like homeownership because they're going to be able to live there. And so, you know, I say, like, control. And that's been perverted by, like, deep racism and deep classism in our society. So, like, we have to not have a racist and classist society. And so that's, like, something we need to think about, like, deeply. But, you know, to me, it's about control. And why rent control is really important is because rent control alters the power dynamic between renters and who owns the building. Okay. I'm just trying to follow her logic here. So if she doesn't want people, if she just, it's all about control, right? So she doesn't want the actual landowner to have any control. I guess the control would have to go all to her and her cronies in government. And somehow she thinks that's going to be a better solution because, you know, her cronies in government are going to make sure that the grass gets cut once a week. I don't think so. I actually think it's the person who has some kind of stake in the game, right? Who's got skin in the game would care about making sure that the place is in good condition. It's really, it's kind of sickening what's going on. It really is. And this is why, you know, you saw the news, maybe you saw the news, maybe you didn't. I'll tell you about the news. Pete Hegg said, oh gosh, the New York Times all over him today. They just have this big, you know, expose. He's done this and he's done this and he's done this. And I'm reading, I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the problem here, folks? What is the problem? But one of the things that he's done is he said, listen, I don't want military members going on to higher educations that are going to come back in the military. So if the military is paying for your education, you're going to go say, get a law degree on the military. I don't want you going to an Ivy League school for that because his concern is that these Ivy League schools have been so corrupted by some of this cultural nonsense that, you know, if taxpayer dollars are going to go to a good cause here, let's try to make you go to a decent enough school as opposed to some of these, you know, woke institutions. And then you look at another headline that came out today and basically the IRS is tackling the issue of these woke institutions because they're giving a lot of money, once again, to very specific groups that you just can't do it. Like it's actually against the law and they already decided that. And yet they're trying to find all their workarounds. And so this is all coming from the same place. It's coming from this group of underachievers, okay? As Scott Besant referred to them, underachievers. They go to school and they go to school and they go to school and they go to school and they get a zillion degrees and they've been woke-ified and they buy this socialist nonsense. They drink it like Kool-Aid and they spit it back out. And the only thing they want to do is work in these, you know, community organizer event type things because they can't actually work as a real job. Think about the guy. Oh, what's his name? Gordillo. I keep thinking of that as like fat, even though he's skinny. Gustavo Gordillo, is that him? The guy, remember, we talked about this last week, who has a pad in Brooklyn, of course, $1.5 million he paid. His parents got it for him. He went to Yale. He's got a $1.5 million pad and he's doing $1.4 million worth of renovations. He couldn't show up to work on time as an electrician, so they had to kick him out of the electrician's union. This is the problem we have, okay? You get too many of these idiots and it's time to clamp down. It's time to clamp down because they're doing some real damage. I mean, you've got the hate crimes that are rising and Mamdami's out there saying, here's the list. Here's 900,000 people for you all to go after and here's their addresses. So it's sick stuff. On top of which, Mamdami's loyalties to the United States are really being questioned right now, as they should. He just did a brand new interview with Al Jazeera and boy, did he go all in on attacking this war. Of course, this is the guy that wanted to have a meeting with Iran. He wanted his staff to sit down with the Iranian diplomats when they came to the UN meeting. My gosh, all while saying he was going to arrest Netanyahu. Here we go, hot off the presses, Al Jazeera and Mamdami. I've made clear my very deep opposition to this war in Iran. It is an opposition not just of a procedural nature or a political nature, but frankly, of a moral nature. We are speaking about a war that has killed thousands of civilians, a war that is deeply unpopular across the city and across this country, not just because of what we are seeing it result in, but also because it is utilizing tens of billions of dollars to kill people, money that could otherwise be spent on making life easier for people across the city and this country. The very things that I often speak about that are necessary for working class New Yorkers that we are told are impossible or unrealistic, they would cost a fraction of this tens of billions that we're seeing. Does that frustrate you, that you're watching this money, $900 million a day being spent on the war, where you have projects which cost much less that could make a huge difference? Does that frustrate you? I think it should frustrate all of us. Tupac said it decades ago. It continues to be true about the fact that we always seem to have money for war but not to feed the poor. And that is not the way that politics should be. That is not what Americans want politics to be. Okay, buddy boy. So of course it frustrates him. It frustrates him because he's sitting there saying, but wait a second, we want Iran to succeed, right? I mean, clearly he does. We know where his biases are, right? You can go back and look at this over and over and over again. Think about what he has said on Palestine. Think about what he has said on Afghanistan. Think about what he has said on Hamas. Think about the lyrics, right? The lyrics of his rap song that should have disqualified him from ever even getting citizenship all but yesterday, seven years ago. Great. We got a guy who comes here seven years ago, becomes an American, so he can then ruin the financial capital of the world, New York City. So this was a big story, obviously, and we talked about this a lot. I still have a lot of questions. Top Mamdami official trying to arrange a meeting with Iran until Marco got a hold of her and him and said, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's not happening. So he's out there trying to arrange a meeting with Iran. His wife takes off on the 250th anniversary of this country so that she can go do an Islamic retreat in Spain, one of the most anti-Semitic countries in the world. They've got all kinds of other problems, though. Little Pedrito Sanchez, you know, that's what you call. Karma, I guess. He's got all kinds of problems right now in Spain. Protests are filling the streets of Madrid. But she went over to Spain, and now we get word that she is actually taken off for Europe, and then she's going to, where else is she going? Oh, she is going to the Islamic sanctuary in Porto, Portugal. Let me tell you, I was just in Porto, Portugal. It is a dump. Sorry to anyone from Porto. Unfortunately for me, I was in the port of Porto. I have never seen so many seagulls in my life, and that comes from a girl from New England who's very, very used to seagulls. Anyway, I digress. She's going to Porto for this journey through Islamic calligraphy. It's a spiritual wellness gathering set to take place in two sessions over the course of two weeks, of course, and then she is going on to Lebanon and to Syria. So here's a little bit more on this. Apparently, they've got pretty high-priced rooms. You can sit there and you can just talk about how great Islam is the entire time. I mean, forgetting about some of the core things like, you know, convert by the sword or issues like, you know, who Muhammad decided to marry and then consummate his marriage with. That would be a nine-year-old girl. So, you know, there's a lot of Islam that, you know, you really shouldn't be celebrating, and yet she's going to be in a manor house and you can sit there and you can just talk about how she's going over there because this is what she does, right? I mean, just connect the dots, okay, people? I'm asking these questions because they should be examined. And the State Department and the Treasury Department ought to be looking very hard at her accounts. Because this would be. Foreign money that she would be accepting overseas. And I believe it was a speaking event. I think she was actually one of the featured speakers at the one she did in Spain on the 250th anniversary of America. And so this is more of I hate America, I hate Israel. Don't forget, I mean, all the nonsense she was posting after the unfortunate October event. Horrific October event there in Israel. So she and he together are truly bad news. And so. Think about what that poor woman who was a Holocaust survivor was saying in the beginning of the show as we started. She's like, how dare you? How dare you come and show your face here? How dare any Jewish New Yorker actually accept you and treat you nicely? Because you are a bad dude. And that bad dude is not loyal to the U.S. and not loyal to 10% of New York for sure. Maria Bartiromo is stepping down at Fox, at Fox Business and Fox News. She's leaving. And I got to tell you, this really caught me by surprise. You know, Maria. That truth is the best way to create wealth over the long term is investing in U.S. equities. Bottom line, boom. Bottom line, boom. Indeed. She is right on. She's right on about most everything. She is a really wonderful person. I'll tell you that, too. And that's like a rare thing in television, OK? I mean, I'll tell you, you can count on one hand how many nice people there are in television. So she's one of the good ones. And I'm disappointed to see her leave because she was actually a big reason to watch Fox these days. But this news crossed and it sort of surprised me. Maria Bartiromo out at Fox News after almost 13 years hosting on the network. And she is one of the hardest working people I know. She hosts a show six days a week. Think about that. She only has Saturdays off. And Saturdays, she's prepping the entire time for her Sunday show. So she hosts a big Sunday show, Sunday Morning Futures on Fox News and then five days a week, three hours. Okay, three hours a day. She's on from like, what, five or maybe six, six in the morning until nine in the morning. And she is, I'm telling you, one of the hardest working people I really know. So I'm so disappointed to see this. And I'm sort of surprised by it. Now, think about the wording on this. So they put out a press release. And listen, I've been there, OK? Just the characterization of how they went out with this report. To me, anyway, somewhat telling. All the headlines are reading that she is out. OK, out, out, out. You see that in the Daily Mail. I think that's the first place that may have broken this. So what happens in these situations is the press person for Fox calls up one of her favorite reporters over at the Daily Mail or New York Post or whatever, and they issue the news. And so they turn it there before Maria gets to say boo. Now, she may still be under contract. I'll give you an example of what happened to me. So when I left Fox, they called me up and they said, OK, we're going to part ways. And I was like, what? Like, I was just on vacation. They told me to have a nice vacation. I think she was on vacation, too. And I'm like, what? And they're like, yeah, we're coming out with the press release now. Would you like to say something about, you know, how you want to stay at home with your family? And I'm like, no. Like, you know me. I can't lie. I mean, I love my family. Don't get me wrong. And it was a tricky time. With COVID and everything. It all happened for the best. I mean, for goodness sakes. Look at what I've been able to do over here. I love it. Please remember to subscribe if you haven't. But it all worked out for the best. But I remember just being in a state of shock and being like, wait, what? And so that was that. And they put out the press release. And it was Trisha Regan out. And it was very kind of cryptic. And everybody's like, what is going on? I'm like, I don't know. I don't know. Maria was one of the people that reached out to me at that time, as lovely as she is. Along with the president. Of the United States, by the way. And a few others. So I appreciated that loyalty. And I show her the same. I am confident that no matter what Maria decides to do, she will be a success. Because she's the most driven person I know. Listen, the media landscape has changed. You don't need to work for anyone anymore. You just don't. Okay? Like, you can have a fantastic career and never have to go into the studio. How about that? I mean, your own studio, right? But you don't have to deal with all the nonsense and the middle management and the this. And this one and that one. And you can do it on your own. And she's talented enough. And connected enough. And charming enough. And I'll tell you, rabid enough. And I say that in a good way. Because I want to show you a clip of her in Ro Khanna. I mean, this is fantastic. I'll tell you, this probably made some people at Fox a little bit upset. Because sometimes, how do I say? At these networks. It's a network thing, right? Like, you know, unless you're doing your own thing. You're working for somebody else. And somebody else is doing your own thing. And somebody else is always offended about something. And I'm sure somebody was offended about this. The cases of some people who are married, that you want them, if they've changed their name, to go and have to prove that with their birth certificate to a registrar. What's the problem? Get your birth certificate. What's the? Yes. Yes. That's the law. You can't vote if you're not an American citizen. Yes. Yes. That's exactly right. No problem. You know what? I wanted a copy of my birth certificate. I went online. I got the birth certificate. I got it. It took a week. No problem. I love her. She's very matter of fact. And, you know, she let them have it. But again, they kind of, like, kicked her on the way out. Like, putting this one out. Maria Bartiromo out at Fox News after more than a decade at the cable giant. And this is the New York Post. I like the New York Post a lot. Look, I still like Fox a lot. Don't get me wrong. I mean, no hard feelings. The best thing that ever happened to me was to get the H-E-L-L out of there, right? And I think that this is just a far better medium where I don't have to read a prompter. I'll have somebody approve my scripts and make changes, like, three minutes before air. Gee, I really used to appreciate that. So for Maria, you know, she's going to have a lot more freedom in whatever she's doing. Hey, more power to her. And we need to support people going totally independent. Do we not, guys? Again, a shameless reminder for you to make sure that you subscribe to my content. She is very bright. She understands the economy. This is a rare opportunity. This is a rare thing in my business. One of the most frustrating things that I run into all the time is that nobody seems to understand economics in reporting. I mean, yes, at Bloomberg and CNBC, the people on air there have a far better grasp of it than you would get in any of these mainstream media outlets and Fox Business as well. But for the most part, when it comes to the reporting crowd, they don't like economics. They don't like business. I mean, they really don't like business. They ought to join Mamdami, for goodness sakes. And those that are in the political. News space tend to like this sort of drama, right, of the White House as opposed to anything of substance. And so I will tell you, Maria has substance, substance in spades. And so that substance is going to be what carries her through. I found that that substance is what carried me through, because every time I look at a story, I'm looking at it through a different kind of lens than perhaps you're going to see in most places. And it's through what is best for the economy, because to me, the economy is everything. You get that. You get that freedom derived from that economic independence and that economic success. And she loves the president, and she's a big believer in his economic agenda. Here's an idea. Could Maria Bartiromo be going to the White House? I'm just going to throw this out there, because Maria would be a phenomenal ambassador, especially on the economic front, for this president. And I just don't know if she would have the patience. to put up with some of these quarter idiots that she would have to deal with there as a White House press secretary. But that is something that is being discussed. In fact, J.D. Vance was asked about this. News, Newsweek, Newsweek. Can you tell me, Maria Bartiromo just left Fox News. Is she going to be the next White House press secretary? I don't know, man. No, I don't think so. You know, I just saw the news literally as I walked out before. I love Maria. I think she's an amazing person, amazing talent. I don't get involved in the personal drama of media stations. In fact, I'd like to invite Peter Ducey to come up here and answer a question about what happened to Maria. But I think whatever she does, look, she's going to do great. And I wish her all the best. She's a very, very dear friend. I haven't even talked to her, so I don't know. I don't know the backstory about why she's decided to leave Fox News. So could she go to the White House? Absolutely. She'd be a fabulous ambassador. And I think she'd be great. She'd be great for the president. She'd be great for the press. And she would actually be able to really explain the economy in ways that is so needed right now. Right. Nothing against Caroline or Scott, for that matter. But that's Maria's bread and butter. And she understands markets in a very, very unique and special way, having had a front row seat to so much of our economic history. So she could certainly do that really, really well. She may be thinking she wants to help people invest. You know, I have my financial newsletter, by the way, 76research.com. And I'd love to see her do something on her own, only because I know what this can be. And I know how much more fun it is. And I know she'd be great at it. You know, she's used to hosting three hours a day and just talking, right? Just kind of like I'm here with you. So I'm a big fan. I wish her all the best. I wish her all the well. You know, look, it's a space I'm very familiar with, shall we say. I've been there, been there, been there, been there with that press release. Not fun to see. Did you guys see what happened with DeSantis yesterday? This was fantastic. The Florida governor really, really knocking it out of the park on this one. He just started heckling the heckler. How do you like that? I mean, showing somebody who's boss, if you would. Governor Ron DeSantis for the win on this. We have three or four million more residents than New York State does. And New York State, hey, Soros isn't paying you enough because you're not very good at this. You should try again. He needs to pay some better talent instead of having people like you show up. This ain't my first rodeo, lady. I've seen it all. And you ain't very good at it. That is fantastic. You ain't very good at it. So one of the frustrations with these hecklers, if you would, is the belief that they are effectively these community organizers, a la Mamdami, right? You know, these types that go out there and they have backing from very specific groups. You heard Ron DeSantis mentioned in this case, Soros. But, and Soros has become sort of the overall name, right, for all of them, if you would. I'm going to go back to the Democrat Socialists of America because they might have something to do with it, too. And so a lot of this is manufactured. And so he's like, bring it on. Like, I'm not going to be deterred. I'm not going to be upset. You know, you're just one of these paid people. And by the way, you're not very good at it. And there's only one of you. So you ought to ask for a raise, maybe get some more people. So here's my question to you guys. DeSantis for president? Again, I'm just throwing this out there. I'm just throwing this out there. We were just talking about JD. We were just talking about Marco. Look, Florida has been killing it. Florida is doing great. I mean, their economy is on fire. And it's a big part of this is because of his policies. I mean, he's put forward the right policies. So going back to polymarket right now, I know it's early. We got a lot of time between now and 28. But take a look. JD Vance still very much in the lead, guys. Marco Rubio, though, nipping at his heels. A lot of people don't think that Marco will run only because Marco is a little bit, how do I say this? As a politician, some have claimed that he's risk averse. And if you think about going into 28, it could be kind of a risky scenario. Why? Because if you don't win, it makes it harder to come back four years later. And so maybe Marco will make a decision like, hey, let me sit this one out because I could go in and be the VP or again, Secretary of State to JD Vance if he wins. And if he doesn't win, and you think about this groundswell that's building, maybe that's why JD is in the lead. I don't know. I don't know. Still staying close to Tucker, right? Because this groundswell that's building on the left with the commies, et cetera, which some people in MAGA have these influencers sort of also become, right? Like, you know, I always say. Like you have the left and the right, and at some point it just becomes so nutty that like they merge. And I think there's the risk of that right now. And so maybe JD is kind of keeping his powder dry and for that reason is not willing to denounce his friend Tucker, et cetera. I don't know. But Marco Rubio is climbing and the question becomes, can he get to a high enough percentage that he really represents a formidable option, an alternative to JD Vance? I think he probably could if he puts his mind to it, if he wants to do it. He has a je ne sais quoi that's very specific to him. He doesn't have. I'll just. We're all honest here, right? He doesn't have the charisma of Donald Trump. But who has the charisma? I don't think you're going to get that. That's like a once in a generation thing. No one has quite that humor, self-deprecation, and also intelligence all kind of packaged up into one. And so now when you go through the list, I mean, look, I like Ted Cruz, but no, I'm sorry. He's not going to do it. Like the je ne sais quoi there is somewhat lacking. Donald Trump Jr., I don't see him doing this. This is not exactly his cup of tea. I think he wants to be a businessman and earn some money. Ron DeSantis, maybe. Like Ron DeSantis, maybe. I didn't see it last time around. I thought, you know, there's no way in H-E-L-L this guy has a shot against Donald Trump. And I was right. The View, they thought he had a shot. They started attacking him like nobody's business. You know, that's what you should watch for. Watch to see who the View starts attacking next. And that'll give you some indication of who's actually going to be the 28 Democrat, forgive me, Republican, nominee, because they'll try to go after whoever that might be early on. That's why they were going after Ron DeSantis, because they thought maybe, well, if Donald Trump doesn't run, and so they were out in front of Ron DeSantis all they could be, will they go after Marco Rubio? Will they go after J.D. Vance? Maybe J.D. Vance is keeping that allegiance with Tucker and sort of this crazy wing of things because he wants the View to go softer on him. Remember, we watched some of his appearances there on the View recently together, and I thought he really could have been a little tougher. Marco is. Marco is the lady that's tried to talk about his shoes that one day when he was in the hearing on Capitol Hill, and he's like, don't you have better things to do than ask me about my shoes? It was very dry. It was very funny, but he was just like, matter of fact. And I got the sense that he wasn't putting on any airs, and he was just like, what you see is what you get. I can tell you J.D. Vance in person is far more charming than Marco Rubio, nothing against Marco. Again, I love Marco. I love his policies. I mean, he's been hitting home runs out of the park. But Marco in person is very different and very like on message. So I'd have Marco on the show a lot back when I was at Fox and like every single time, like he's just on message and you can't get him off. He's very tenacious with his message, but that's good, right? That's good. And Ron isn't necessarily the biggest people person. We had him on a couple of times and like we'd go to commercial break and he didn't say boo. All right. Whereas here again, this is why Donald Trump is a politician of a generation. Just like I've never seen anything like it. He loves people, like loves people, really genuinely loves people, cares what people think. I mean, you know that, that actually a lot of people think that that's one of his downsides, right? He cares too much what people think, but he cares. He cares. And I actually see that as a good thing. I love that he loves people. I love that about him because when the cameras went off and I've interviewed him a few times and I'll tell you, the camera goes off and he's like party on, right? He still wants to talk. He still wants, you know, he's, he's, he's, he's engaged in a way that you don't always see in politics because oftentimes these people are very programmed. They go on TV and then that's it. You know, the cameras are off and they don't want to keep talking anymore. That is the opposite of Donald Trump. So when I look at these numbers, I think it still is somewhat of an open field. Yes. JD Vance is in the lead. And I think in fairness to JD, he is somebody who, who does like people and he does like to talk and he is charming and all of those things. Marco is very much, you know, let's get our work done. Ron DeSantis I think is probably kind of shy, like kind of shy, but he's got great policies.
