A leaked internal memo from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) dated February 9, 2026, reveals that federal agencies have been probing Ilhan Omar’s citizenship and passport records for over eight months. The memo requests comprehensive documentation of all her passport applications, raising concerns about potential false statements and name alterations—particularly if she used "Ilhan Omar" instead of her alleged birth name, Nur Said Elmi. Critics argue her father, Nur Said Elmi, was a high-ranking military officer in Somalia under the repressive regime of Mohamed Siad Barre, linked to genocide and clan warfare. This connection fuels allegations that Ilhan Omar has acted as a foreign agent, sharing classified U.S. information with Somali leaders, including during a 2022 meeting in Norway that preceded a regional conflict. Concurrently, investigations have uncovered nearly $700 million in cash leaving Minneapolis in two years, primarily through Somali-descended individuals, raising red flags about terrorism financing or money laundering. These financial flows are tied to broader concerns about foreign influence and national security. The case is not limited to immigration fraud; it involves potential violations of federal laws, financial crimes, and espionage. Critics also point to inconsistencies in her family history, including her reported marriage to a brother and her social media references to her father, which they argue suggest a cover-up. While the administration has dismissed claims as political, the timing and scope of the investigation—especially with HSI actions coinciding with cash flows and political shifts—suggest a deeper probe into national security and allegiance. The allegations, though largely unproven, have prompted scrutiny of her ties to Somalia, her family’s past, and the broader implications for U.S. immigration and foreign policy integrity.
Ilhan Omar, oil boy, oil boy, they're on to your girl, okay, they're really, really on to you. And I don't think that this is going to be going away. The way you might have hoped to welcome to the program everyone. I'm Trish Regan. We begin today on Ilhan Omar and a new memo that was leaked to our friend Glenn Beck, Glenn Beck got his hands on this thing and it's very, very interesting, okay, very, very interesting because apparently some people at the Homeland Security Investigations Team, they were inquiring, making some inquiries, shall we say, to the State Department as long as eight months ago, okay, so eight months ago, they were onto this. So for anybody who's like, oh, they're just decided to do this, you know, a couple weeks before the election. Not the case, because this memo is dated back to February, I'm going to let Glenn explain it here. Look, February 9th, 2026, he was given a copy, he couldn't actually show the copy, but he kind of just inferred what was in it. He was given a copy of an HSI memo that went to the State Department and they were asking for a whole series of things, which is really incredibly interesting and it's giving us some window into what it is that they really want from Ilhan in terms of information. And I can expand upon this because I think that they're going in on the passport thing, but it's actually much bigger and we'll get to that. But they are looking for these passport records from the State Department, okay, so this gets back to what Jeanine Piro was telling us with the name and the idea that somehow she's not who she says she is. So they were requesting all documentation on one Ilhan Omar out of the State Department, every personal and official passport application. Don't forget that every time you're renewing your passport application, if you renew it and you're renewing it under say in this case, what is alleged is a false name, then that would mean the statute of limitations, boom, gets renewed. So in a lot of these immigration cases, not in civil immigration, but in criminal immigration cases, the statute of limitations would expire after a certain point, but in this particular case, no, if you were to continue renewing your passport, which it is believed she did in terms of what the feds are saying, under fraudulent circumstances, then every time you do that, that that statute of limitations is extended. He also points to some possible violations, including false statements on passport applications. Again, this is what I am suggesting and so this is what the State Department was looking for evidence of and so they were communicating this or rather, I should say the HSI, so Homeland Security was communicating this to the State Department because they wanted to find out exactly how she was applying for these passports, what name she was using so that they could potentially pursue criminal or civil investigations, and then it also said that she may be amenable to civil denaturalization. So what does that mean? It's not that she's first glance, you're like, oh, maybe they spoke to her. Maybe she said, okay, fine, just deport me. It'll be over. What they're saying actually there is that she may be, in some ways, perhaps it's better to say vulnerable. They're using sort of legally's term that she may be amenable to civil denaturalization, but it's that she is vulnerable in this case to civil denaturalization. In other words, they want to say that this woman is not a citizen, was never a citizen. We'll get back to some of this, but I want to actually, you know, Glenn actually really laid this out pretty well and he was the first to get his hands on this memo. It's interesting how they're just leaking bits and pieces of this sort of in stages right now and I think this is in part if you think about the timing of it, they want to make sure that you know this was February 9th, 2026. In other words, they've been on to her for a while and this is consistent with what we heard from the likes of Tom Homan, from the likes of Mark Weinmullen, from the likes of Harmeet Dylan. We have consistently heard that they were investigating her, even if I go back to, don't forget I think all this fraud stuff really started to hit full force, maybe around February March of this past year, right? So around that particular time, they probably were definitely doing a deep dive. Don't forget what Bessent, the Treasury Secretary had said how they were going to be going and looking at the entire money trail and the money aspect to this is another important clue. But let's go to Glenn Beck who really lays it out quite well. Our thanks to him for this little bit of information because I'll tell you, every day is bringing something new and it is not good for Ilhan Omar and it's actually a horrible look for our country, a horrible look to think if this is all true and she gets in here and makes her way all the way to Congress while not even being a legit American citizen then, you know, we get some, we get some big questions that need to be addressed. Really? We have obtained the text of a memo from Homeland Security Investigations to the State Department came from a source inside the administration. We got a photo, I can't show you the photo, but we are telling you what it says, how we got it and you can weigh it for yourself. It's dated February 9th of this year, eight months before anybody knocked on a door. So they've been working on this. You know, the memo asks the State Department for certified, complete unredacted copies of every passport application that Ilhan Omar has ever filed. Also personal and official, every supporting document, every letter, anything that identifies her parents and it says why she is named as the subject of criminal and civil investigations for possible violations of two federal laws, making a false statement on a passport application and falsely claiming US citizenship than one more line. She also may be amenable to civil denaturalization. That's they're going to try to take her to citizenship away. Okay, so that's what I was just getting at that little bit at the end about whether or not should be amenable or citizenship to be taken away. I'm just looking at your comments in real time and I see a zip XIP is saying maybe her father was involved in some CIA military options. I don't know. I don't know how much the CIA, it's possible that they cared about Somalia because don't forget eventually you saw that change in regime and that change in regime did bring a better relationship with the US of A. So it's certainly, you know, I don't want to rule that out and if that's the case, then yes, the State Department probably definitely knows a lot and the question is, is the State Department or the CIA going to cover for him or is it game over because she's toast? Again, I think this is more than simply a naturalization case and I think they are using this to get to some of these bigger issues and by bigger issues, I'm talking potential money laundering, potential, you know, this is a big accusation but I have new information to bring you today about what some former representatives from Somalia land are saying about her and they believe that she is acting on behalf of Somalia, sharing intelligence about Somalia and Somalia land and they're accusing her of effectively acting as an agent or spy for Somalia and using whatever info she was getting from, don't forget she was on the Foreign Affairs Committee until Kevin McCarthy took her off. So that's another, you know, we just have to go and stages here because we got so much info. I mean, this is unbelievable. So stay with me, we will get to that but just back to this question of identity. In other words, who is she and who was her father and what was he involved in and what does our State Department know about what he was involved in. For that, I want to go back and listen carefully to what my former colleague over at Fox Jeanine Piro had to say. Now she's at DOJ and she's going to be running this entire investigation. She's also running the investigation into the financing. So don't forget two things going on. We've got a line into the naturalization, possibly denaturalization and then the line into the financing and here she was. I know this is last week but I want to just dissect it a little bit with you. Here we go. Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. If you have citizenship in this country, your derivative citizenship or your naturalization, your application will turn on precise information and you have an obligation to report that precise information. So the question is, who is Ilhan Omar and has she followed all of the laws as it relates to naturalization and immigration? So if this is just about naturalization and immigration, I mean, look, the immigration thing with what Judge Jeanine is saying, I still call her judge. She was a former judge and now she's the prosecutor and she's a heck of a one. I'm just saying, and I've told you guys this before, she was excellent on Fox and she did an excellent job on TV is she was a natural, but she's even more of a natural and even more outstanding at her job as a prosecutor. So watch out Ilhan. But if you're going to assume then that you are pursuing this naturalization thing and maybe she lied about her age, don't forget what I told you about the family tree and you can go back and watch that. Actually, I believe it was last Thursday's show, maybe episode 23 or so and we're doing a deep dive into the Ilhan family tree. And the thinking is, it was actually a reporter for something called Power Line Blog at midnight.
Minnesota, David Steinberg, and David did a deep dive into the family and had looked at the family splintering off into two different names that one one went by the nurse Said El Mi branch and they went to London and to the UK and then the other branch changed their name to Omar and the family the Omar family is the Arlington Virginia family. This is interesting because again one of you I'm looking at the corner of my eye out of all your comments saying the CIA was involved with her father's military actions. I mean that's kind of interesting because this guy's an Arlington Virginia right? The new Omar family and guess what? We can't find him. Like there they've just dissolved into thin air. Nobody knows where the original Omar's are but that is the name that her father took when she came here and so she was naturalized at that time she would have then taken that Omar name. So let's let's forget about the CIA for just a second. Let's just assume this is all on the theoretical up and up and you know she's coming over here as a refugee they had just a couple of spots for maybe three of them. Sohra, nurse Said the sister that you heard Judge Shaniah mentioned, Ilhan Omar and then the father. So what is this going to get them? Why would they conduct this raid to just get her passport information again going back to Glenn Beck's reporting with the HSI memo. Why are they so desperate to know about her passport records? Because I was thinking about this and I'm like well isn't it going to be clearly it's going to be probably Ilhan Omar? Because how old is she have gotten a passport? Seriously like how would she I mean let's just assume that she came to Arlington Virginia. Forget about her age for a second and she applied for the passport. Why would she be naturalized as anything other than Ilhan Omar if she's telling the feds at that time and maybe they're looking for inconsistencies. Maybe they're thinking okay she applied as Said Elmi and then changed it to Omar. Maybe but I don't think so because I think that would have been kind of a tough thing again you heard what Judge Janine said that there's a certain consistency that should be in those records and that you know there's kind of something that would be triggered I just from from I say too I want to double check what she said let's listen again. If you have citizenship in this country your derivative citizenship or your naturalization your application will turn on precise information. Okay so the precise information being that name so again I don't understand why they would have and you know maybe you guys have some ideas on this too this is like a mystery we're solving together right in real time. You know Friday night I was like still researching my husband's like okay come on give it up but I mean I'm super curious because this is insane like the whole thing is honestly insane and yes peace my mind and we mark a rubio I'm sure is able to offer up a lot of information on all of this but I would have to think that the name Ilhan Omar is the one on the passport. Now let's go with that for a second assume that she's got Ilhan Omar on the passport they still want to know when did she last we knew that passport because if they have documentation that she was not Ilhan Omar that she was in fact Ilhan what did Judge Janine say she was Nur Said Elmi the Nur had Nur Said Elmi should have been the one applying for the passport port not Omar and so every time she filed his Omar then that's a problem and then it turns into even bigger problems bigger problems because every time she does any kind of financial transaction especially an international financial transaction anything that uses that passport again it triggers it triggers it triggers it so you know it could have been last week that she effectively triggered it again and so perhaps that's where they're going that's one of the angles here again they're saying her name is in fact you can look at the warrant right here okay they got it they got it and they're saying it is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi aka Ilhan Abdulame Omar so they don't think that Omar is the name and if that's the case and if they have proof that she deliberately switched names or rather her father deliberately switched names when he came to this country because he was associated with a bad regime then that's gonna land her in a lot of trouble here's the father okay the father we think is Nur Said Elmi I mean I think we can pretty much I mean every single social media post is Nur Said Elmi you have Judge Janine saying your Nur Said Elmi well why was he trying to change that name why was he trying to hide from that you've got Judge Janine and the feds the DOJ with this warrant saying she is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi so then listen again to what Judge Janine said on Fox because she made kind of a Shakespearean reference and I was kind of pondering it at the time and I was thinking as we got this HSI memo in where they're demanding from the state department all of this information about Ilhan's passport records and any potential violations because the information doesn't match up I thought a lot about what Janine had said in that second part of that interview let's go to it right now Ilhan Omar is living and working in Congress under an alias well you know you'll have to ask her what she considers her name I mean that is something that you know she can definitely tell you what we're concerned about is whether or not she has followed the laws as it relates to the use of these names and it's kind of like in Romeo and Juliet remember the Catholics and the Montague's it matters not who you are but who you are not okay who that it matters not who you are but who you are not so in this case she's like you can go by whatever name you want to go by I mean I bet you judge Janine she's been married at least once or twice right maybe pure as her maiden name I'm sure she's had some married names it's like you can go by whatever you want honestly as long as the name is legal and in this case the reference to who you are not to catch that who you are not you should not be the daughter of nurse Said Elmi because nurse Said Elmi is somebody that we believe was highly connected to the Said bar regime in Somalia here's a reporter recent one in the New York Post and here I'm going to take a look at this with you and we'll kind of read through it together because they did some excellent reporting they actually spoke with historian from Somalia and they spoke with some sources over there that are connected to the opposition and to Somalia land so understand the biases right like we always have to understand everybody's biases what bugs me about the media because they never ever appreciate the biases that people are coming so I just want to inform you of that and these are the allegations here so representative Ilhan Omar's father was a quote feared Colonel in the Somali national army they write SNA far from the educator he was presented to Americans as so she talked about him in her book called him an educator and this source or a couple of sources because they're writing this as fact if you would oh no forgive me it's a veteran who served in the regiment told the post so again this is a source that the New York Post had they spoke with somebody who had been in the army and this guy nurse Said Elmi aka Omar was somebody who was a colonel in the army who was feared and he was not an educator Nur Omar Mohammed has been accused of hiding his military past again even with the name itself because he's not using nurse Said Mead Elmi if that's in fact his name which we believe it to be and you can see he voluntarily used it on social media all over social media so Nur Omar Mohammed has been accused of hiding his military past from US authorities when he arrived and claimed asylum with his family back in 1995 don't forget that's of a war had been going on to what 1991 and then she and her family fled to Kenya we think for about five years I thought she said she was eight in her book when she left or when the Somalian War gosh was it when she left or when she broke out anyway it's neither here they're there I don't even think you know the age is not even what's I mean the age of course matters I get it but this is a bigger issue guys because if he was lying about who he was then that actually makes everything null and void it makes his citizenship you know over which therefore makes her no longer a US citizen which means guess what she's kicked out of Congress she's kicked out of the country and that's if you know she was not involved in financial fraud which believe me we'll get there because that's the that's the reason the president keeps saying oh forget you know the deportation like that would be the easy thing she may wind up in jail is his comment and so if we continue to read on it says a retired military officer still living in Somalia has spoken out for the first time to shed light on the career soldier who was a trusted operator in
dictator's siad bars brutal regime. They go on to say here in this in this report that Neur was very recognizable in the military hub in the city of Baidoa. He was one that had been picked out to be trained in Egypt back in the 1960s. And we've heard from David Steinberg's reporting as well that he may have been trained by the Soviets because at one point the Soviets were backing this Marxist crowd in Somalia, not surprised. And thus he may have received training not just from Egypt but possibly from the Soviets, maybe the Soviets in Egypt. Anyway, he rose very quickly to the top of the military, became a very trusted man in the regime according to their source. He then went on to play an important role in the Somalian Ethiopian war between 77 and 78, according to this foreign army officer. And he worked with masterminds, quote, of the invasion and was trusted with the plans. He helped organize the troops, but a lot of people died in that war. Yeah, I mean, by the way, there was like genocide and a lot of other stuff. I mean, he could possibly really be tainted by some very, very bad stuff. You know, she put out a tweet and we've talked about this before the New York Post writing that she, it may reveal she really did marry her brother. Again, I think the brother is a little bit of a red herring. In fact, immigration may be, in fact, just a red herring. I'm going to get there again because I think it could be bigger than all that. And they may be really trying to figure out the source of all that fraud and the 700 million, nearly a billion dollars leaving the Minneapolis airport in cash heading back to the Middle East in the span of two years. But think about what she's saying here. Happy Father's Day to my Abu Nursai'id. I am forever grateful to Allah for giving me the best father. And so she was linking to a picture of him. And this was a social media post. So these things really possibly doing her in that she and the relatives, if we can say their relatives, the alleged relatives over there in the UK were constantly posting about their father, Nursai'id. And, you know, yes, I mean, that would suggest then the guy that she married who has come out as gay, you know, which is also a little weird. You're marrying somebody who's gay who actually happens to have the same last name that you purportedly do not have. I mean, it's very twisted. Okay. The whole thing is very, very twisted. And that would lead to the immigration front. But again, if this guy is her father and she's calling him Nursai'id, then you got to go back and ask what the heck. Okay. So here he is. He rose to Colonel. He, according to the historian and some of the military people that were interviewed by the New York Post, he is accused of helping bar remain in power. And you'd have to be pretty ruthless to have done that. He did have a life in America where he worked initially, according to that source as a taxi driver and postal worker. And then here's what gets interesting. And it gets interesting. And this is where it could get quite concerning, compelling, and financial for Ilhan Omar and her dad, because according to sources that the New York Post spoke with, this father continued to advise troops in the Puntland clan wars back in Somalia. And now there's this new allegation, which I'm going to get to, that Ilhan Omar herself was somehow trafficking and information, bringing information that resulted in a continued sort of civil war there in Somalia. So the allegations keep growing and growing and growing. Again, this guy could have been a really bad guy. I mean, you think about what Barr actually did. And let me see if I have a picture of him here. So Said Barr was a bad dude, right? Really, really bad dude, because he was the Marxist communist who came at funny. You know, she's in the blood, right? It's in the blood. And he led a very, very bloody regime. He came to power through a coup. And he established what was called the Supreme Revolutionary Council. And that Supreme Revolutionary Council was what abolished the Constitution, gosh darn it. This is not kind of familiar, right? You know, stacked the court abolished the Constitution. They basically went out and they got rid of parliament. They banned political parties. They were just going to be the one party Marxist, Lenist, Lenist Somalia, you know, socialist party. They called it scientific socialism. Apple doesn't fall far from the trees, I guess, all right? And early on, the whole idea was, okay, we're going to give everybody everything. We're going to have some education involved. We're going to have a new Roman alphabet for the Somali language. We're going to have the nationalization of banks and industry because we're going to take anything that's out there. We're going to suppress any kind of other political party, any kind of clan that was then out there. We are going to suppress that because you could not have opposition. We are all just going to be Marxist, all interested in the pursuit of the greater Somalia. And this was, you know, where they were heading, apparently, at one point in '77. I think he invaded Ethiopia, and that didn't go so well because it turns out the Soviets who were backing him, they switched sides and they wound up backing Ethiopia. Somalia got defeated and then bar pivoted. Actually, interestingly towards the United States. And so he was looking to the United States for aid, trying to have this very tight control at home, which is why one of you guys that was saying early on, you know, you got to ask this question. Did the CIA do we actually know a lot more than we're letting on? And maybe the State Department is willing to give them up. They're like, well, we don't care, you know, he's dead. You know, he was a bad guy. And, you know, he was our bad guy, maybe. I'm making this up. These are all allegations. Let me be really clear. And I'm thinking out loud a little bit because this is live. And I don't have scripts. And we're just going with it. Okay. And I'm reading your comments. But I can tell you by the '80s, by the '80s, I guess around the time Ilhan Omar was born in 1981, 1982. This guy's regime became more and more authoritarian. And so he was relying on his clan. He was relying on national security service. He was relying on anything he could use any kind of, you know, any kind of opposition was immediately shut down. And so there were actually some very serious human rights abuses, including a genocide that took place in the north and estimates between 50 and 200,000 people dying in that. And then you had all of these clan-based rebellions going on, all through the country. And they tended to spread. And it was somewhere in 1991, I think beginning in 1991. He was overthrown. And he fled. And then you had civil war and clan conflict. He's an exile in Nigeria. And I guess Ilhan's family, Ilhan's family being this guy again. Let me go back to the father, Nursaid Elmi, or Neuro-Mod Mohammed. See, I'm being nice on the photo. Did you see the name I put? But it's believed he's Nursaid Elmi. Anyway, so he takes his family and leaves for Kenya. And Ilhan has said that she is one of seven kids. You know, we can only find one, apparently here in the United States. Although there's a lot of suspicions about some others, including some that may have even been involved in feeding our future. Because there's a few too many sayeeds, right, that are involved in feeding our future. We talked about that the last two days. I was kind of going through some of those guys that were on the list. And one of them that was also her campaign worker has been alleged to be, again, this is by the reporter who's done some phenomenal work on this. I've been trying to reach out to him. He's kind of hard to come by. I sent him a tweet. We'll see. David Steinberg. And you know, Scott Johnson has been very forthcoming about this as well. And David did some work for Scott. David Steinberg has said that this guy who worked on her campaign who made off with millions of dollars in feeding our future, he's alleged that he's either a brother or a very close, close relations. So think about that, right? I mean, like I said, like this is a rico case and it's going to go boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And a lot of people are going to come down like dominoes. Anyway, back to Mr. Omar or Said Elmi, he was associated with this strong man with this ruler that had created a dictatorship for Marxism and overseeing this country's collapse, this country's instability. And so a lot of people are kind of thinking she would not have qualified. She would not have qualified for citizenship because her father wouldn't have qualified for citizenship. And that is why when we consider this memo that HSI sent to the State Department, they're looking to go back to those original passport requests because somewhere in those filings, the names have to add up. So somewhere there, she either lied when she came here, we either know she lied because somehow we were involved in getting the father over here. I don't know. Or you know,
but there's a paper trail. There's a paper trail and that's what they have. And again, I just wanna remind you guys, everybody's saying, oh, it's political, it's political, that's Obama's line. You love a judge that is Biden appointed judge that donated money to Hillary Clinton signing off on this. A few weeks before the election. So there's something there. There's something there. And they're saying it's about immigration. I actually think it's going to be something more. But before we completely abandoned this saïed bar thing, I want you to think about something else. The other day she was back in Minnesota, she's voting. She came out to vote and we're not entirely sure under what name, but she's voting and she, while in Minnesota, put this out on social media. And it's her and her husband at the lake, it's with the Middle Eastern Arabic sounding rap song in the background. I can't actually play it for copyright reasons for you, but I'm gonna tell you what the words say because they're really worth knowing, given that her father may have been associated with this ruthless dictator. And then here she is hanging out with Timmy and she's got her photographer there. Ready willing and able. Look at there and they've got their commie Sheikhan, because she thinks that all MAGA people are too good looking and wear, I guess, too many bright colors and have too much Botox. That was her comment in her little town hall meeting the other day 'cause, you know, we can't, we can't all look like you, honey. Anyway, the point is she releases this video, okay? And look at the words. I'm gonna read them to you, okay? We've got them right here and it's all kind of warlike, like really, really, really warlike. And I think that's just a little bit bizarre. So the translation of this Arabic rap song, which was a done by a Somalian rapper is, and I quote, "The Almighty has given me strength. If I confront you in the afternoon by evening, I will teach you a lesson and keep you awake through the night." This is like their pop music. Great. It goes on, "Yes, you will suffer and cry in seething. You will scream like a demon. Let me show you who I am. No enemy dares to threaten me, wherever I set foot, he runs away. Let the enemies die of seething. We are the ones who rule this land." Woo! Okay. It'll come. You don't come from a military background. No, not at all. I mean, even though there was another threat, your sister made when she was talking about how great it was, that she had neuropsyched El Mi for dad on social media. Again, one of these little posts, and she wrote, "I love my father besides being an awesome dad. It turns out he has a great political strategist and fundraiser and everyone knows to never, ever mess with any of his children, especially his daughters." In other words, I'm kind of seeing a theme here, kind of seeing a theme of some military people from a very bad place, well, you know, the president has to say, well, it's a mile, all right. Who have clans and are effectively, you know, that song, that song tells you something. And you guys, you know, I mean, it was a Friday. We were talking about this, and I said, "Oh, there's a song." And at the time, I was like, "It's an Arabic. It didn't really feel very Minnesota-like to me." And I think I said that and you were like, "No, no, no, go back and look at the song. You were ahead of me on that one." Usually, I like to keep myself, you know, five feet ahead of you, but a lot of you were like, "No, go back and look at that song." And so I did, and I was like, "Oh my gosh." But the enemies die of seething. We are the ones who rule this land. As she and her hubby, who's got a lot of questions about him, because he's been accused of fraud over the years by various people. And he's had to like somehow come up with 500 grand at a pop. At one point, he and his business partner were like, "Oh, we don't have the money, we don't have the money because the Treasury Department, Biden's Treasury Department actually had shut them down." Yeah, they weren't able to access their accounts according to the husband's business partner because Biden's Treasury, actually, the terrorist financing arm. The terrorist financing arm of the Biden Treasury Department allegedly had shut them down, and this is according to his partner, free beacon reported on it, gosh, I mean, you see what I'm saying? So this is a little more complicated. It's not as easy as just a simple naturalization case. This is a woman who comes from, it is believed a military background and may be continuing possibly for financial gain to pursue, again, allegedly. This is what critics believe she may be involved in, including critics out of Somalian land using US intel possibly to cause more havoc back at home. So let me share with you a little bit of information that has come out this week. Again, it's believed her dad was still somehow consulting for some of the clans back home. That's what the New York Post had learned. Sources told the post he remained involved in puntland politics back in Somalia for years after arriving in America. And he was advising troops in clan wars. So knowing that and then seeing this, it leaves a lot of concerns. This is an article in zero hedge. I love those guys over there. It is such a fascinating publication, of course. I love it because it's got a lot of international stuff and a ton of financial stuff. And that's my background as a financial correspondent. Great, great site. And I know the Tyler's. There's more than one, and they're great guys and they're really passionate about what they do. They published this article at originally had come from PJ Media. And it's said Somalian land accuses Ilhan Omar of leaking classified congressional info to Somalia. So let me read a little bit for you. You heard the headline. Representative Ilhan Omar's father participated in genocide in Somalia land. And Omar herself, this is according, these are the allegations, according to the article. Omar herself has connections to top Somali thugs. So unsurprisingly, there is a natural antipathy between Omar and Somalia land. OK, so again, just trying to establish if you would where the biases are. So Somalia land doesn't like Ilhan because of her dad, who we believe, was a colonel, or, you know, that's what's alleged, right? It was a colonel in bars, bloody military operation. So with that in mind, they don't like her. So, you know, take it with a grain of salt. They have an ax to grind. She has an ax to grind against them, apparently. So here we go. The latest accusation, the latest resurrected accusation from the Breguet African Republic against Omar is that she leaked classified information to Somali leaders. Ali Hassan Muhammad is the former Somalia land minister of information. And he originally posted his accusation against Omar in 2024. But the representative of a Somalian account, which Somalans foreign ministry has said is not an official government channel, is highlighting the accusation. Again, right now, to emphasize why Ilhan Omar herself is a threat to American security. So they're putting this one back out there from Ali Hassan Muhammad. This is not the first time he writes that Ilhan Omar created an animosity between Somali. She was heavily involved in the conflict to place in Lassanad. In December, 2022, she visited Norway, where she leaked information to some of the Somali leaders pertaining to a meeting. A meeting between, he goes on to say, a meeting between these two sides, a meeting between the president of Somalia land and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Congress, which she was a member of by that time. She was very persistent and urged the Somalian leaders to take proactive actions against Somalian land as soon as possible. A month after that, the Lassanad conflict broke out. She was certainly one of the main characters who created hatred and division among Somalis. So it is time for Ilhan to be accountable for her wrongdoings. Whoa, all right. So what was going on there? So this is sort of the first tangible thing I think we can point to it. There's been a lot of innuendo and a lot of accusations. Maybe she was trading information. Maybe she--
she was doing it for her patriotism towards Somalia. Maybe she was doing it for profit. Maybe she was continuing allegedly in her father's footsteps. We don't know, and these again are allegations, but these are some of the things that I would have to anticipate that the feds are exploring in great detail right now. And it's one of the reasons that Kevin McCarthy was really hesitant to have her on the Foreign Affairs Committee. And he said recently that he made sure he got her off well. And what's his name that just got raided out there? I guess his patron just got raided. Swahwell, Swahwell, listen to this. - When I became speaker, there were two Democrats. I was very concerned on which committee they actually were there. Eric Swahwell to continue to be on the Intel Committee, having slept with a Chinese spy, I removed him and I had the power to do that. I also removed Elhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs because you get top secret information there and sharing it and her beliefs and her hatred towards Israel. I literally had to take that to the floor and I remember having to get the members, work them to get the vote to actually remove. And now when you look on hindsight, I was correct on both of those. - You should work, Evan. I mean, wow. So again, I just have to say like, who the heck is in Congress? I mean, potentially somebody who really shouldn't even be a US citizen is being elected to Congress. Potentially somebody who allegedly has a lot of allegiance to Somalia and wants to see a United Somalia and doesn't really care as much about the US. I don't need to say that. By the way, the president of Somalia said that. The president of Somalia traveled to Minneapolis while she was campaigning. By the way, foreign interference right there to tell all the people in Minneapolis you gotta vote for Elhan. You know why Elhan doesn't care about Minnesota? She doesn't care about America. She doesn't care about anything except for Somalia. And so this has been her pitch on the campaign trail. I mean, imagine that. This is nuts. I mean, seriously, nuts. Like you have people going to Congress that have more interest in foreign affairs hence her Russian to get herself on the Foreign Affairs Committee because they're trying to protect their interest back home in another country that, well, you know, they shouldn't care about if they're in Congress for the right reasons to represent the people in Minnesota. I'm sorry. And so this gets us to the money and this gets us to the real reason why the feds in my estimation are banging on her door at 6 a.m. in Washington, D.C. warrant in hand for Elhan, Nursi, eat Elmi, why? Because potentially something much bigger than immigration fraud may have transpired. 19 billion dollars and fraud that was stolen by Somalian bandits. Can you believe that Somalian? They tend to have to be higher IQ than we thought. I always say, these are low IQ people. How did they go into Minnesota and steal all that money? He sold that at Davos, right? I was like in February of this year. Again, February. What did we just learn? HSI. In February. Remember February 8th went to the State Department looking for information, February 9th, February 9th. And there he is in February out at Davos. And he's making this connection, as I'm making right now, to this 17, I guess, 18, 19, I think he said billion dollars out of Minnesota that went missing because it is believed the Somalian population was engaging in a ton of theft. So he knew something about that. The State Department knew something about that. HSI knew something about that. And then fast forward eight months later, here we are. And she's got a raid going down on her apartment at 6am out there in Minneapolis. There's a lot of money that left Minneapolis. A ton of money that left Minneapolis. Some 350 million in one year. Like 2024, in cash, was leaving the St. Paul Minneapolis airport. I mean, give me a break and it was 343. Let me get these numbers right. Okay. 343 million in 2024 and 350 million in 2025. So we're talking nearly 700 million. Oh, why not just round up and call it a billion, right? Nearly a billion dollars is leaving this little airport. I'm sorry, but like that's like dwarfing, just complete. I mean, it's massive compared to any other airport. And then they found that the next biggest airport with the next biggest Somalian population was coming out of Ohio. And that was a ton of money, too. So the TSA, they have to report all this stuff. So they have these figures. It's like, what's going on? Why all of a sudden this huge uptick in the amount of cash that's coming up? This is what's reported, guys. Okay. This is what's reported because anytime you take out more than $10,000 out of the country, you have to fill out certain paperwork. How many broadsters do you think were not reporting how much money was coming out of the country? How, you know, they just put it in their sock. They put it in their suitcase and they don't tell the feds about it. This is cash. Okay. This is cash. It's not funny. I'm laughing. But it's just insane. I mean, you know, who's talked a lot about this is our friend, Kristen Robbins, the representative from Minnesota. She was just on the program last week. And she has been like, this is nuts, right? You had more money coming out of little Minneapolis airport compared to JFK or LAX or Chicago or hair like, no, they got it going on. Okay, got it going on in Minneapolis and apparently it was a bunch of Somalian descent careers. And they would just take these routine international flights and they'd often go from Amsterdam to Dubai and they'd take the money with them. I mean, it's really pretty unbelievable. You know, the care television network out in the local channel there in Minneapolis, we've done some very solid reporting on this entire story. And they featured our friend, Representative Robbins, in this recently. I want to go to this report and show you. We are an outlier as a state in terms of the amount of cash leaving our airport. Tonight state lawmakers are scrutinizing hundreds of millions of dollars, literally flying out of MSP. More cash is legally flown out of the US from MSP than any other airport. There are all these reports of money leaving the airport. Why doesn't the state stop this? At this morning's legislative fraud committee hearing Robbins cited a TSA bulletin that revealed passengers flew out of the country from MSP with $343 million in their luggage in 2024 and $350 million in 2025. For context, we have the 16th largest airport. That number 350 million leaving our airport in cash is higher than the cash leaving any other airport in the country. Any airport passenger traveling with more than $10,000 cash is required by the Treasury Department to claim it and TSA inspects the luggage. That means those hundreds of millions of dollars are being legally transported overseas. But the implication from Robbins in light of the fraud and money laundering stemming from Minnesota's welfare programs is that much of that money originated from taxpayers. That's why it's so important to catch it on the front end. Because once it's laundered, it technically may look legal. Yeah. You got it, okay? You got it. So again, we know that the Fed's think her name is not Ilhan Omar. They think it is Ilhan Nursai Elmi. They think she married her brother. They think, and by the way, this is him. And this is a form of immigration fraud. And again, they can keep that ticket, right? With the statutory limitations, normally there would be five years. You'd have five years to figure this one out. But I think because she continued to engage in these fraudulent things, whether it was through renewing a passport or something else or perhaps even moving money, moving money with that passport, that would be problematic too. So he is, well, I don't have to say allegedly in this case, he has volunteered that he is gay. In fact, this was his paper, and we've talked about this already. I think we did this. Oh gosh. What's today? Oh, they're all coming into wantons with Monday show, Monday show. We talked about this on Monday out in the field. He did this big research paper. You're welcome to take a look at it. Look at Monday show. What he basically said, as a gay man of East African dyspore. So yeah, okay. So he's gay. He volunteers it. So what does she do in marrying the second husband who, if nothing else, you know, it just sort of doesn't sound right. It was in a Christian ceremony. And he's flamboyant, right? Like, you know, he calls himself a dirty dandy on social media and well, he says he's gay. Okay. So like, I'm just going to say, it doesn't really make sense that they were legitimately married. So that's the immigration part. Regardless of if he's the brother or not, I'm sorry. Like, that doesn't seem like a real marriage. That seems like a sham. And so there's all of this information coming forward. And I find it fascinating that Hassan Piker, who she ran to for support and for help and went on and did some silly show with him. He's out there.
What they're defending her and his reason is because it was just a paperwork violation. Oh wow, just a paperwork violation. You think? Yeah, wishful thinking, buddy. At most, it's a paperwork violation. That's all this is. I don't believe the accusations of the government, even if the accusations were real, although I don't believe they are. At best, it's an additional form of paperwork that you would have to file and fix the entire process altogether. So you see this case may be much bigger. I mean, it may be sort of a red herring to follow the immigration thing, not saying that that's not important. It is, but what they may really be trying to track down is a sophisticated network of alleged terrorist financiers operating out of Minneapolis, where as much as nearly a billion dollars was clocked as having gone back to the Middle East and being trafficked by just a few individuals of Somalian descent. So that might be the big kahuna. When the president is talking about $19 billion, it's getting stolen out of Minneapolis, out of Minnesota. And he's talking about this at Davos on the world stage. That's kind of a big deal. And that timing coincides with HSI going to the State Department as we showed you earlier in Glenn Beck's reporting on this. He got the memo showing they wanted all the information on exactly when she was applying for that passport because they're going to use that, and they did use that in my estimation to get the warrant to get into her house so that they could get the cell phones, and they could get the computer, and they could get the husband's notebooks. And even the little terms he was learning and using in Somalian, remember, she made fun of that with Chris Hayes, aka Rachel Maddo, but they're passedports anyway. She's saying, "Oh, they took my husband's Somali phrase book, but maybe it's because he was learning certain phrases that would be used in the Huala money-moving network." So you see what I'm saying, that the citizenship is important, but this might be one big case, much bigger than anyone first anticipated, and gosh, you know, that's why she, in my estimation, is in a lot of trouble. These cases, especially de-naturalization, can be difficult and hard to prove, and I was like, "Oh, you know, it's just paperwork," like what Hasan Piker is telling you, it's just paperwork, but this might be a whole lot more than paperwork. 17 billion, the president says 19 billion, we've seen some estimates up to $30 billion, being stolen from the US government and making its way back to Somalia and the Middle East. That's a big problem, guys, all right? That's a very big problem, and that's what we need to get to the bottom of. You want to make money the old-fashioned way, you want to invest it in good companies, go look at my company, 76research.com, you can get my financial newsletter there, we just put out a piece, we of course had the Fed today, we put out a piece about what happens if, what happens if blue takes over? So you can read about that, again, 76research.com, you can get the free stuff, you can subscribe to the newsletter or you can subscribe to these model portfolios that we have. But I would say good news on the Fed, they left Rates steady, which was the smart move, really and truly, you know, there's a lot of things to celebrate in the economy right now. The stock market's still doing well, earnings have been very good, consumer confidence yesterday came up very, very nicely, and so, you know, the job market is strong, all of these things are really relevant right now, so this is why the Fed is looking at the inflation we've seen on the energy side and said, you know what, this probably is temporary, because once we really resolve it and believe me, we will, we will really resolve it, assuming Republicans stay in charge, we'll resolve it, and then energy prices will come crashing down, and so in that sense, it's very much a temporary effect. And so, I encourage you, we've got a pretty good track record, as you can see there on the graphic. Go check out 76research.com, but as we're talking about this sort of takeover from some of these people that are coming to this country that may not have necessarily the best interest of America or Americans at heart, that brings us to a guy named Abdul Said, Abdul Said is coming under a lot of pressure right now in Michigan, in part, because I've told you before, I mean, this guy's got a temper like I've never seen, the wolf man is back, I'm in the wolf man out, Pranson, angry, rage filled, you know, I've been saying this, and then somebody put this little clip out on social media, so I had to bring it to you today, I had to bring it to you today, because he really does seem quite angry, and believe me, he's going to get even angrier when he doesn't win, and by the way, all those mosques that have been campaigning for him might come under scrutiny, because you see, as a religious establishment, you can't engage in the political process, apparently he doesn't quite understand that, because you know, I'm just going to go back and tell you what I've told you before, Islam is a very political movement, very hard to separate those two things, it's why you've often seen in these tumultuous situations, very bad situations, well, oh, right back to what we were talking about earlier, right, bar, say bar, who was running Somalia as a Marxist, of course, Marxism and Islamism often goes hand in hand, anyway, here he is, the angry woof man himself. If you're coming to kick down what we're building, I'll fight you. We should bash the **** out of Trump, because he's a terrible human being, the only terrible things Bill Mar has said about people like me, I want to give people the image of watching him get his **** worked on his own show by a guy who prays like I do. I'm not afraid, so I was also the kid in AP classes were getting suspended for fighting. I walk back, I get a fifth of vodka, and I put it on the camera, he's like, you can't buy that, I was like, you're right, and you can't sell it. So I smashed it on the ground and walked out. Ohio, JD Vance, I'd love to see him on a bench, I'd love to see him on a squat, I'd love to understand if he's as strong as he likes to play. We don't back down with all due respect, if they go low, we don't go high. We take him to the mud and choke him out. Oh, dear. I don't think he would really be, how shall I say, the best fit for Michigan. And you know who else doesn't, either take it away, JD, got no else, I had his a little bit of a psychopath. I love that. I mean, yeah, I mean, look, I, the angry wolf man, I was going to call him that, but psychopath will work too. Just a little bit of one, I'm going to go even further, maybe a lot of one, okay? Anyway, he also made the point while traveling there, and we're going to get to the mosque in a second. JD, making the point, making the point that you don't want people like this in the Senate, people that don't love this country, don't feel an allegiance to this country or people that in his view are very racist against anybody who's not Islamic, like him. Here is the vice president of the United States. They have to understand what happens when our nation gives in to these kinds of people. He went on to say, these kinds of people, angry young men, angry young men who don't love this country, who actually go out and say that they're from another country, which is exactly what he said. I'm from Egypt. I'm from Egypt. I'm from Egypt. How many times do we have to hear that? To the point now, where we're wondering, can you really be a senator, like if you had the Egyptian passport, as well as the US one, like don't we have a rule against that? Rule citizenship, we ought to, we definitely ought to. Anyway, so that's come up and JD made this sort of bridge, if you would, between what's going on in France with a lot of people that have been imported from Africa and the Middle East that don't have the values that the French people had or the Europeans had, and now there's total destruction. I'm sorry. And you know, everybody that says it's about school supplies, like, gosh darn it, if only we could get 10 more copies of James Joyce, I'm really desperate to read it this weekend. That's not about school supplies. You're not burning down schools if you're really worried about school supplies, okay? And then you look at the Palestinian flag every single time you see one of those images. What do you see? A Palestinian flag. So it is definitely about something else. And his point is you don't want this because this kind of Marxist craziness is going to take over America if we allow it to. And so that's why you don't want him, but the other big reason you don't want the guy is because he's a flat-out racist. If you're white, if you're black, if you're Asian, if you're Hispanic, if you're anything other than him, he doesn't think so highly of you in JD's view. What I will say is I think Mike is fundamentally a decent guy and the kind of public servant that you want to watch in the DC and I think any Republican or any conservative who looks at this race and sees on the one hand, Abdul El Sayed, who may be more than any Democrat running in the nation.
has engaged in the kind of explicitly anti-white racial hatred that has become common on the Democratic Party. I'd say that person should not be elected. I think what Republican stand for is whether you're black or white, we're for everybody. And Actuals L.S.I.E. is, again, more than anybody, a guy who seems to love to traffic and racial hatred. We should reject that guy's conservatives. We should reject him as Americans. Michigan, time to reject him, reject him, reject him, but, you know, he's done something a little funny. Well, if anything happened on the way to the forum with one Abdul al-Saheed, he started getting the mosques involved. And so he's been out campaigning in these mosques. And it leaves us with a lot of questions because the mosques are tax exempt. So why is it, and it has been alleged that particular mans in these various mosques and Michigan have really been pushing Abdul al-Saheed on their, do they call them parishioners? I don't know. Anyway, they're pushing see all the man there. I guess the women have to sit in the back. Is that the deal? Anyway, they're really pushing Abdul al-Saheed as the next great thing for Michigan. And so they're trying to get everybody out to vote. And so now the question becomes, is that even legal? Like, can you actually even do that? Are these mosques in jeopardy now of falling in sort of the crosshairs of the IRS because there's very specific rules about these tax exempt organizations and they could find themselves in some trouble. So there's some in particular, I mean, you have the House of Wisdom, for example, that is in Dearborn Heights that has come under some scrutiny, as well as the Carbala. I'm getting good at this, huh? Islamic Educational Center endorsed by al-Saheed from the pulpit weeks before the primary. I guess they were actually endorsing him. They love him. Key quotes, including voting for him, was as wajib, as prayer, an al-Saheed victory would be a victory to God, or do they say Allah? And it was mandatory to elect him because he is, ta-na-ta, ma-zam! Whoa! So much for that church and state thing, right? Yeah, you're not JFK, I'm sorry, it's not JFK, and Catholicism is not Islam. Some hosted him during actual services, so yeah, he leaves some of these mosques, I would say, in some hot water. Apparently, there was a Islamic annual convention in Detroit, Michigan, and al-Saheed's campaign operated a full booth, yeah, they did a full booth exhibit soliciting donations and volunteers. They had QR codes like Muslims for Abdul. All those kinds of materials and flyers, and while he spoke, he was introduced in ways that people that were there said really lacked neutrality. So there's nothing neutral about the mosques that want to get their candidate in other reported language, included phrases like the IRS has treated as problematic code words in the context of a campaign, including references to competitors, as a Zionist candidate, aha, kind of signs like that commercial, right? The commercial where they're saying they can't buy eggs. And they don't know the price of eggs, of course, because you know, there are a bunch of disciples from al-Saheed and they're clueless on the economy. So they don't know the price of eggs, and they're like, oh my gosh, it's like $7.80 for eggs, what are we going to do? Oh, all that money has to go to Israel, so that's a very, that's not even a veiled. That's like not even veiled. That's like just full on out there, we ate Israel. And microgears is for Israel, he's going to take your $7 for your eggs, they don't cost that, by the way. And send it to Israel. And these details raise some serious questions about the political activity and the tax-exempt status of these religious institutions. It's a little bit of a problem for al-Saheed, or the people related to al-Saheed, speaking of people related to al-Saheed, again, I'm not happy about this. The mother, the birth mother, right, you know, her ties to, we're getting Muslim Brotherhood, she's got full on al-Qaeda, okay, this lady is working for the organization. She thinks she's helping orphans and sending, you know, new clothes back home, turns out she sent $100,000 to Osama bin Laden, and so guess what, Treasury shut her down, shut that office down, now she was not charged, because again, she just thought she was sending the money to the orphans, the poor kids, let's help them out. And you know, this guy, it's all out there, as recently as 21, what he was saying about today, I'm more in the 3,000 lives, 6,000 injuries and infrastructural devastation in New York City perpetuated, ignorantly in the name of my faith, tomorrow, I'm more in 1 million lives, millions of more injuries, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, because you see, it's just like Mamdami, just like Mamdami, they're more about what the U.S. has done, because if you listen to Hassan Piker and all their bros, it's the U.S.'s fault, all right, so, you know what, I just gotta say, it's really important that these guys not succeed, it's really important that they get taken down, they get taken down hard, and they get taken down fast, because my fear in all of this, my fear guys, is that the Democrat party gets embolded by this, and if anything, we need to be doing the opposite, we need to do the opposite, because, you know what, it's high time, we gotta confront this stuff head on, there is no place for communism here in America, let alone the Western Hemisphere, did you see what happened, who's great, I showed you a little clip for this yesterday, but we're gonna get to see the whole thing today, so there was this like Fisticuffs thing going on the floor at the U.N., whoever said the U.N. was boring, right, I mean, this thing going, I was a 51st and 1st over, and maybe 49th around, I used to live near there, I hated it during the assembly, gosh, it couldn't even move, but anyway, they had quite a, quite a showdown between ambassador waltz and the Cubans. I'm the representative of the United States of America, back up, got a lawyer, back away, back away, back away, back away, this isn't Havana, okay, so the big thing was basically, my waltz was doing a presentation about the castor regime and how corrupt it is, of course, it's another Marxist communist corrupt regime, there you go, okay, they're all one in the same. Look at the devastation that is produced there in Cuba, anyway, he's going on about this and he's pointing out that, you know, the guy in charge, Castro, he was wearing two Rolexes, it's not one, you know, not one, no, no, he had to have two, one for each hand, but I think he wore them both on one hand, so anyway, he's showing all this and the guy's going crazy and he starts like trying to fist fight with him on the floor of the U.N. So Marco said, "Adios, astro, there we go. Adios amigo, it's been nice, you're going back to Cuba, where you belong and don't come back." So Marco Rubio, toss in his, you know what, right on out of Cuban diplomat, right, it's the Daily Mail, who got into a fiery clash with the U.S. diplomats at the U.N. will be expelled from the country, the confrontation occurred on Tuesday between members of U.S. Ambassador Mike Waltz's team and members of Cuban Foreign Ministry Bruno Rodriguez party as team after the U.S. Ambassador called out corrupt Cuban elites. Oh, the whole thing is well worth seeing and I'm going to play it for you, I'm going to play it for you because you know, that was just, there's just a little snippet. We've got to see the whole thing, it's only been about a minute long, well we're seeing. But first, know that Marco Rubio, his stock just keeps rising, rising, rising, rising, he went up Texas last night to call out Tyler Rico, I think there's another name for him. Anyway, the president's like, and where's Marco, and come on down, Marco was just hanging out backstage and I would just say, you know, considering all that just went down, Marco had a little something to celebrate, kicking the Cuban diplomat out of the U.N. and out of the U.S.A. I love it. Here's Marco. Come here Marco, come up, come on, he's like, what's happening? The crowds go wild, absolutely wild for him, president loves to load him as a potential 2028 potential candidate alongside JD Van, so you know, it's kind of the rivalry if you had a little bit of one between the two of them. Thank you. It's an honor to work for the greatest country in the world, for the greatest president and the history of the United States of America. We love you Texas, thank you. Isn't that great? Isn't that great? I mean, he really, he's coming into his own. I just have to say, he's really coming into his own. I've noticed it, if you would, a lot, you know, he's just really taken on the world quite literally between the EU and everything that's happening here in the western hemisphere. If something else I want to show you in relation to this because as we think about, is it going to be JD? Is it going to be Marco?
And I think we're in good shape, by their way. I think Marcos is an outstanding job, though, really just getting on the international platform and showing us who he can be and who he is. I would say that I just, I wanna keep 'em. A secretary of state, I love my secretary of state. My treasury secretary, I wanna keep those two jobs, really, really firm. So if it is gonna be JDJD, do you think you could keep Marco and could you please keep Bessent because these guys are great? And if it's not gonna be JD, could we make it Marco and Bessent? I think that would be a really winning ticket. I think they're terrific. So here's the question, where do we go from here? I promise you, I promise you, I will show you the full Cuba clip because it's really funny and well we're seeing. But I wanna show you something else here too, because where are we going? And what happens with Marco Rubio? What happens with the Democrats? What happens with the future in 2028? And I gotta kick out of this one, TMZ. Okay, I'm quoting TMZ, what can I say? They've got like a whole DC, because politics is that interesting. Politics is like entertainment now. So TMZ's getting in on the act, and they even have the cameraman that hangs out in DC all the time and tries to do with that girl from Lindell TV does, Allison that does it so brilliantly and so well. Well, they do a little bit of that themselves. And Harvey Levin, who kind of runs the show over there, got on television yesterday and predicted, Democrats are gonna lose. Democrats are gonna lose and it's gonna be the Marcos and the JDs and the Bessons of the World, and the GOP that takes over in 2028. And he had a reason it relates back to one Ms. Ilhan Omar and her buddy, who she runs to, crying, trying to raise more money, Hassan Piker. I want you to see this. - So Ilhan Omar had a town hall yesterday with her pal, Hassan Piker. And I gotta say, what I ended up thinking after kind of absorbing this is the Democrats are gonna lose the presidential election in 2028. And I say that because I think that anti-semitism is happening out loud now. And I think intolerance among people on the left is happening out loud. It is on the right too, but on the left, I think they are gonna go back to the ways that ended up getting Donald Trump elected in the first place, because they became so intolerant. - Okay, and-- - They are intolerant, they're really intolerant. They've completely lost their way. Nobody wants to be Cuba. Trust me, nobody wants to be Venezuela. And nobody wants to be the Cuban ambassador that just got a whippin' from ambassador Mike Waltz. Let's cue the whole tape. (indistinct) - It's like holding a black away from this podium. Mr. President, this individual needs to back away from this podium. He's not going to intimidate me in the United States of America, like he tries to intimidate political prisoners. - And I'm the president of the United States of America, back up. - Got it now, you better-- - Man, no! - And fast, no, man. - Man, no way, this isn't a man I've got. (indistinct) - Mr. President, back up. Back up, the rule is clear. This is the substance of the speech, there are no procedural-- You can bring the misery, the list is gone. We sit down, sit down, five, sit down. - When I interview. - I'm sorry, but that is just not how you should conduct yourself. No, no, no, no, no. You know, I want to bring you some breaking news right now. No, no, no, no, not how you should conduct yourself. Breaking news out of Brazil coming to us right now. You may have heard Bolsonaro, Flavio Bolsonaro, who believed he won the election. That's just actually just coming in. I should share that first. He's in the USA, he's safe and sound in the USA. Of course, if they asked to have him extradited, I don't know how that will work. He is thanking the wonderful American people for welcoming him in. He said, on Sunday night, this is Bolsonaro. He is here in the USA, so let me update this. He arrived in Miami just last night. So Flavio Bolsonaro, he is the son of the guy that they arrested, right? He's like under home arrest because they don't want him running again. So his son picked up the mantle and ran, and it was assumed that he was going to win. So the good news is he's safe. He's here in the US. I'll read you his statement in just a second, but just to back up on the craziness of all of this, right? Craziness of all of this. You see, we thought he was going to win it all. And then somehow it all turned around. Not just in three weeks. It was amazing to me how the media reported this because it's like they were so excited that Lula won. And I'm like, why would you guys want Lula win? I mean, seriously, it is a disaster for that country. I have followed Brazil for a long time. My first job was as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs. And we were covering Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Venezuela. So Brazil is one of the countries. And I was writing up a report every single day for investors. And we were buying sovereign debt in Brazil. And Lula came in and we're like, all right, because now you got a communist coming in. That was 1999. OK, it's like 19th summer of '99. This has been a long time, baby, all right? So now we still got Lula. Lula is such bad news for that economy. And it's so sad because I talked to an investor friend who was just down in some follow. And they were like, he was planning. It was going to be fantastic. It was going to be an opportunity, right? An opportunity of a lifetime. You're going to see all kinds of foreign capital moving into Brazil. It was going to be tremendous. There were so much that could be done. And you saw the ETFs going up, up, up, and away. As we got closer and closer. And we were looking at calcium, remember? And wow, it certainly looked like Bolsonaro had this. And then all of a sudden, the last two hours, everything changed. There was some traffic. There was some rain. And the next thing you know, they're opening up certain whole areas while everything else is closed down. So they keep them open for two more hours in the areas that Lula would dominate. And then some of these other areas-- absolutely not. In some of these poll areas, they had zero votes for Flavio Bolsonaro, which, by the way, is bizarre, just saying a little bit bizarre. So anyway, you had everybody celebrating this. Here's Ursula. Come on, Ursula, at the EU, over in Brussels. I guess she's looking for friends. She's got Karni up in the Canadian region. She wants to collect a few, I guess, in our hemisphere. She's got Karni. She can get Lula too. Gosh, she was excited. Congratulations to my friend, Lula official, on his electoral victory, democracy, and multilateralism have won in Brazil. Are you kidding me? I mean, I think they have to be careful how I say this. But I think this was kind of-- Angler is going to say, little bizarre. How it went down? Little just a little bizarre, right? And we haven't talked about this yet. We will remain. She said, by your side, for years to come. And she's posting this lovely little picture. Here we go with Mr. Lula. She writes, we're going to work closely for free and open trade, a rules based. Oh, my gosh. I mean, she's just going to put you to sleep rules based, global order. ESG, ESG and DEI, can you say, can you see my little cheer? And strong ambitions for our climate. Oh, my gosh. So you see, when it's dog market tanked, like boom, like a rock in Brazil. And if you were trading the Brazilian ETF, that was like another rock, OK? We didn't tell you to buy that, though. Hey, remember, my company's 76 research. Although Rob did my co-founder over there, he did tell me that he's out of Brazil altogether. He had had a little bit in an ETF. And he's like, I'm out. I'm just not going to wait this out, because these people, like, you can't trust the system. You can't trust the system because there was no transparency in terms of this election process. I'll get to that in a second. But again, Ursula is psyched. And then, you know who else is psyched? Zahran. Memdame. Zahran Kwame. Memdame says the people united will never be defeated. Congratulations. President Lula, one of the things that really caught my eye was that it happened so fast. Bloomberg was one of the first to report it. The Lula victory, which was sort of strange to me, because usually they rely on AP. And AP was sort of second or third in this process. So everybody was like, dah, dah, dah, dah, done deal on the EFT. And I'm like, guys, this is not good news for the economy. But they were very quick to report it. And then the New York Times did have like one little line in a story talking about how there could be a bit of a situation with electoral lawyers saying Brazil's current situation is extremely serious, and it's a critical situation. And then that kind of just fell by the wayside. And all of a sudden, everybody's, woo, woo, woo, Lula's won. So let me go to what Bolsonaro is saying right now. And he writes, on Sunday night, I watched in shock as an electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes. So he's calling out this election. He says, this is so Latin America. This is why we can't be like this. OK, guys, we just can't be like this. This is so typical of a banana republic. Imagine shutting down bowling places for the entire country, Except in the end.
the locations where Lula would get votes and then announcing that they will stay open two hours extra. And then by the way, the guy that did all this was the Supreme Court justice who was actually Lula's buddy and his former attorney. So he's got his personal attorney installed on the Supreme Court who announces we're going to extend voting for all of those Lula districts, but for no others. I mean, it's bonkers. And he says voters were subjected to different roles. That would be of course what I just mentioned to this day, the TSE, the TSE. I think that's the authority of the TSE. That's basically the entity that makes the decisions on voting has not managed to defend the extension of voting hours. And there's not even a single credible answer. And you know what's crazy? Nobody's bringing it up. The FT, the New York Times, just had like a little shadow of a line, Bloomberg, AP, like nobody like other, whoa, Lula. And it's like, this is kind of a story. Just don't you think? He said, "I want to be clear. I did not flee Brazil. I left for Brazil's sake." Interesting. I left a state of exception so I can be the leader of my people deserve because silenced, imprisoned, and censored as my father is, he is. I could not be that leadership. And we would be handed over to an institutional theater of castrated opposition controlled by a Supreme Court full of servants of the regime. You know, Lula was in prison. Didn't Dilma go to prison? Did I ever tell you about the time that Lula kicked me out of the Brazilian presidential palace? I had gone down there as a CMBC reporter. I have been promised an interview by the tech minister and I got there and see Bloomberg is big. Big, big, big. I've worked for Bloomberg twice. I worked for CMBC once. Early in my career for Bloomberg, and then a little bit later I'll be fine with the fox. And anyway, I go down, I got my whole crew and everything. And the minister of technology lets us in and kind of just tries to slip us by the PR people and the PR people. No, no, no, no. We have an interview with Bloomberg. It's happening like in two days. We're not going to, we're not going to Trump. No pun intended. Bloomberg by having him on CMBC first. And I'm like, well, here's the letter I got from you guys saying I have this interview. And by the way, don't you really want to go on CMBC because it's a much bigger network than Bloomberg. Anyway, they were like, no, we love Bloomberg. It's because Bloomberg had a bunch of misprosils that actually read the news in Portuguese. I know that I used to sit next to them when I worked at Bloomberg because they had no more seats on any of the floor for the for the regular American speaking girls. So I got put with the misprosils. The guys were so jealous of me. They're like, how'd you get that seat? I don't know. But they would do the news out of New York in Portuguese. And that was the only station that Bloomberg kept. And originally Bloomberg had like news in German and Germany, news in France in French. And they were really into this language thing. And then they eventually like folded all those upright operations. And they just had one network out of New York that was broadcast internationally, except for Brazil. So Brazil was still, you know, like the bomb in Brazil. So they would not let me do the interview with Lula at some point that the tech minister like escorts me into a meeting with Dilma Rosef and Lula in Brazil at the presidential palace. And a few other of the cabinet members. And I'm there. And I don't speak Portuguese. I mean, I speak a lot of languages, including Spanish. So I can kind of get bits and pieces of it. So I'm like, okay, I'm trying to pick up what I can. But I'm just staying there because I'm thinking that maybe I can convince Lula. And so at some point Lula and Dilma and everybody, they leave the room. And I'm still there with the tech minister. So he walks me down the hallway into the Oval Office equivalent, which trust me, there's nothing like our Oval Office. Okay, this is like a 1960s building. It's really enough to see. So I go in and there's a small little office where his assistant sits out front. And all of a sudden, running down the hallway is the tech minister. And he's like, what are you doing here? What are you doing here? Are you crazy woman? I told you to get out. We're not going to give you the interview. And so then I'm furious because, you know, Brazil is not an easy place to get to. And I'm like, I came here and I've got my crew and I got my cameras and we're not leaving until we get an interview. Long story short, they gave me Dilma, they offered me Dilma Rosef, who was the vice president. And I said no. And I was only there that day. Like I couldn't stay. I had to get back, you know, to New York or I had to get back to São Paulo. I had some other reporting I was doing down there. And so long story short, there was no interview with Lula. And so I didn't like him prior to that. And I definitely didn't like him then. And now I really don't like him. And I'm just wondering where the reporters are asking the question, what happened? Why did you allow some polling places to stay open? If you if you think about it, remember the numbers right before this all went down. It was a very different scenario. Do we have the graphic? Yes, we do. Okay. So here, take a look at this one on Calci. So do you see what I see? Look at this massive change. Okay. So like, boom, it went it was like, both an hour was going to win. And then boom, a big giant change there. So I'm telling you something funny happened. And for people not to ask the questions that need to be asked on that, you're going to have a lot more kiss. And this is why my friends would invest there. Like, we're out. We're done. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Not happening in Brazil. It's good to have you guys here. Thank you for all you. I just wanted to go out and see some of your comments as we wind up the day. We're going to have more on Ilhan Omar. Of course, tomorrow, it is a very fascinating story, right? Like for me, it's just wild between the potential sort of digging that one can do in terms of my concerns and the alleged concerns about potential terrorist financing. Maybe she didn't even know. Okay. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was just moving money or somebody else allegedly was moving money around. Maybe she really did think she was feeding thousands of kids in Minnesota. Let's assume that. Okay. We'll give her all the benefit of the doubt in the world. The problem is this fraud occurred. She's around it. And so they need to get to the bottom of that. And I'm just saying with that much money going out of the Minneapolis airport, you know that the terrorists are not a smiley or taking their cut. They always do in the Huala network. They are always taking their cut. And that is really, really alarming. And the Somalian government possibly too. So strange, strange, strange stuff. Anyway, good to see you all. Thank you so much for all your support. Make sure you tell your friends. We're here live every day. Usually around four or five. It's not easy putting this all together. I do a ton of research. A ton of research. And sometimes we're still tying up loose ends as we get closer and closer to the show. One of these days I will guarantee a time. But for now, we're kind of keeping it on a floating schedule. So I appreciate your patience. Like you would not believe. And you can always watch the replay. We pin it to the top of the channel. And of course, I'm on Spotify as well. I'd love it if you come over there and see me. I see all the comments because we only get like 20 comments a day. So leave a comment. Okay. Over on Spotify. I will make sure I add that to the show description. As soon as I get off the air with you right now. And I will see you back here on The Trish Weekend Show tomorrow.

Key Points:
A leaked Homeland Security Investigations memo from February 2026 shows authorities have been investigating Ilhan Omar’s passport records and citizenship status for over eight months.
The memo requests all personal and official passport applications, including supporting documents, to scrutinize potential false statements and fraudulent name changes tied to her naturalization.
Authorities allege her father, Nur Said Elmi, was a feared colonel in Somalia’s military under the brutal regime of Mohamed Siad Barre, linked to human rights abuses and genocide.
Critics claim Ilhan Omar may have acted as an agent of Somalia, leaking classified U.S. information to Somali leaders, including during a 2022 meeting in Norway that preceded a major clan conflict.
A massive amount of cash—nearly $700 million—left Minneapolis in 2024 and 2025, raising suspicions of money laundering by Somali-descended individuals, with the U.S. government now investigating the source.
The investigation includes allegations of her father’s continued military advisory work in Somalia and her own alleged ties to Somali political factions and illicit financial networks.
The case extends beyond naturalization fraud into potential criminal activity, including terrorism financing, money laundering, and foreign interference.
The timing and depth of the inquiry suggest a coordinated effort to examine whether Ilhan Omar has undue allegiance to Somalia over the United States and whether she poses a national security risk.
Summary:
S. information with Somali leaders, including during a 2022 meeting in Norway that preceded a regional conflict.
S. immigration and foreign policy integrity.
FAQs
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) requested all of Ilhan Omar's passport applications from the State Department, including personal and official records, to investigate potential false statements and fraudulent claims of U.S. citizenship.
Allegations include falsely claiming U.S. citizenship, using a false name on passport applications, and possibly engaging in immigration fraud by renewing passports under fraudulent circumstances, which could extend the statute of limitations.
It means that Ilhan Omar could potentially be legally stripped of her U.S. citizenship, suggesting she may not be a legitimate citizen and was never properly naturalized.
Her father, Nur Said Elmi, is alleged to have been a feared colonel in the Somali National Army during the regime of Siad Barre, a Marxist dictator known for human rights abuses and genocide.
Yes, Somali officials, including former minister Ali Hassan Muhammad, allege that Ilhan Omar shared sensitive information about U.S.-Somalia meetings with Somali leaders, contributing to political tensions and conflict.
There are concerns that she used different names—such as Nur Said Elmi and Ilhan Omar—on her applications, and that inconsistencies in her records could indicate deliberate deception in the naturalization process.
