BREAKING: Ilhan Omar Case BIGGER THAN ILHAN…MASSIVE FRAUD Suspected...TENS OF THOUSANDS Involved?! Plus, Elon Makes Big Bet on CNN
1h 56m 43s
Elon Musk has invested $1 billion in CNN through Skydance, the merged entity of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, marking a pivotal shift in media ownership and signaling a move toward AI-driven, decentralized content creation. This transformation has sparked internal conflict at CNN, where long-standing anchors like Cristiano Amampore are leaving amid growing tensions over editorial bias against Republicans and capitalism. The influx of tech-focused leadership has intensified friction, particularly with Kara Swisher, who has publicly called for Musk’s imprisonment, revealing deep political and ideological divides within the newsroom. Simultaneously, Ilhan Omar faces serious legal scrutiny over allegations of fraud—specifically, lying about her citizenship and marriage to her brother, which is now supported by a federal warrant citing her real name, Ilhan Nur Sayeed Elmi. The case may extend beyond Omar to a much larger pattern of immigration fraud among Somali families who came to the U.S. before 2008, with the Bush administration previously suspending a family-reunification program after discovering widespread falsifications. Omar’s financial disclosures—where a $30 million business valuation collapsed to $20,000—are also under investigation, raising questions about ethics and transparency. As the legal and political fallout unfolds, Omar has gone public, appealing for donations to cover legal costs and asserting she is being targeted for political intimidation. Critics argue the investigation is not just about immigration fraud but about broader systemic issues of accountability, representation, and truth in media and governance. Despite her claims of innocence and fear of being silenced, the growing evidence and public scrutiny suggest her case is becoming a symbol of deeper structural challenges in American democracy.
Well, this is a big show today, a very, very big show. I thought I was just going to talk about Ilhan Omar because I have a terrific interview. I get to bring you with the guy who originally did all that reporting, discovering that she had married her brother. I don't even think I have to say allegedly at this point because you get the Vice President saying it. You get DHS saying it. And if you look at this documentation, you're going to be saying it too. So we're going to get all into that, including a reaction, my reaction, your reaction, his reaction to that interview that she did on MS now. But we begin today on CNN and Elon Musk because this guy, I told you he was going to do it. Did I not? I told you, Elon was going to make a big investment in CNN and sure enough, he did a billion dollars big. Oh boy, this is, I mean, what an interesting world we live in right about now. So Elon Musk is very mutated. I don't know how to say this any other way by many of the on air talent and producers over there at CNN as well as CBS. And Elon Musk has just been tapped as a billion dollar investor in those properties. You see his friend David Ellison, son of Larry Ellison, Larry Ellison was on the board at Tesla. Larry Ellison put a billion dollars into Elon's takeover of X. So, you know, it was a little bit of payback. You helped me. I'll help you. Anyway, it's being reported first by semaphore that Elon did make that one billion dollar investment into Skydance. So Skydance is that big giant company, right, that was the merger between Paramount and Warner Brothers Discovery. And Warner Brothers Discovery is the one that owns CNN. Paramount was the one that owned CBS. So now you get the guy that they all hate who's going to have a little bit of say in the newsroom. So I'm just thinking, like, remember how we reported earlier in the week that Cristiano Amampore was departing? She's like, okay, I've had enough. I've had enough. After 43 years, Cristiano was calling it quits. And let's just say she didn't have very good feeling about things. I suspect she probably knew that Elon was coming in. I mean, hey, we knew, right? I told you, I would be shocked if he didn't do the deal. And a billion dollars makes sense, especially given that Larry Ellison put a billion into X. It's also like a really, really smart thing to do because entertainment and news is going in a completely different direction in the future and you're going to see a lot more citizen journalists, you're going to see a lot more creation of entertainment and film by individuals because of the reality of AI. So all of this is changing and Elon is on the forefront of that technology. David Ellison is on the forefront of that technology. So it would make sense for Elon to have a seat at the table. But it's almost like Cristiano. And then what do they call him? It's a Humpty Dumpty. What is the, it's terrible to say this is Andy's nickname for him, not mine, but anyway. It kind of stuck. He's got some funny name for him. Anyway, they were on talking about this just a couple of weeks ago and you could almost like feel it. You could almost see it in Cristiano's face. She didn't have a lot of faith that things were going to go well for her or well for CNN. I think they're going to go great for CNN. You just going to have to get to the finish line though. There's so many questions to ask about the CNN thing, but we'll see how it plays out. We've also heard. I don't have any other answers. Yeah. I know. Cristiano, like we've been going for 45 years, right? CNN just keeps going, no matter who, no matter what, no matter where, this network just keeps going. I strongly believe that's what's going to happen even though we're about to get another new owner. Okay. Interesting. I've been here 43 years. So I've seen it all. Every merger, every buyout, and so far, yep, we just keep going. Yeah. Except without her. So she's out. I imagine a lot more people will be out. That's going to be coming. And Elon is in. And let's just say like a lot of the people over at CNN, a lot of people in the media, a lot of people in the Democrat party, they do not like Elon Musk very much. I mean, there was a time when they did like him, but that was when he was a little less aligned with MAGA, okay? So now he's gone in, you know, he, I mean, he's been out there cutting dough. She's out there getting rid of the USAID spending. They have no use for him. And so instead of actually coming up with some kind of articulate reason for not liking Elon Musk, these lovely politicians that we have, they just scraped the bottom of the barrel. Because frankly, I don't think they got a whole lot going on upstairs themselves. So then we hear stuff like, take it away, you see? This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen. Our witness, this dude is not smart. I think he's probably one of the dumbest, luckiest people to exist on this earth. Elon Musk, what are the great disappointments? You know, he's not back in your campaign and he left California, along with Google founder too. He just left California as well. You see, everybody's going to Texas or Florida because Gavin is definitely not an impressive person. Anyway, I digress. The point is, oh, do you see Ilhan over there too? Ilhan Omar? Wow. I mean, you want to talk not smart. Do I have some information to share with you? I mean, really, really, really not smart. This woman never should have run for public office, certainly never. I mean, what was she thinking that none of this would come back to haunt her when she was out for my source and I'm going to introduce you to him, campaigning. When she was a state rep, she was campaigning with husband, Ahmed number one, even though she was allegedly married to husband number two, the second Ahmed. She was filing taxes with the first husband while allegedly married to the second one, which of course, now everyone says is her brother. Whoa. Okay. So more on that, more on that. Stay with me. But we've got all the talent right now getting really worked up because, you know, they know one, they're not going to get the payday that they used to get because you just, you can't make those numbers work. Nowadays, there's just so many other more cost-efficient ways to produce content, so you're not going to be paying these big anchor salaries anymore, so that's a concern for so many people over there. You get the president of the United States, whoever, the other day is going after CNN. You get CNN upset today because they still can't get onto Air Force One. They're not allowed. He's like, yeah, you guys are not coming on there and so there's all of this friction and a lot of the friction is coming from a bias within the newsroom that is very much against Republicans against entrepreneurship, against capitalism, and for all the things that frankly Elon and Ellison do not like, I mean, you wouldn't have progress if it was up to these people. I saw a tweet from El Said yesterday and what is he saying, oh, how dare General Motors buy back stock, you know, companies buy back stock because that helps to make them leaner and meaner and it helps shareholders. So he thinks you should just take all the money, whoa, and just give it to everyone, give it to all the work and give it to you know, he doesn't believe in actually running a streamlined professional profitable company. Well neither do the anchors on CNN, so they have a little bit of friction, do you see? With the new boss, new boss says, and we're really seeing this friction play out in real time. There is a tech reporter, contributor, whatever you want to call her, you're probably never seen her and we wish we could keep it that way, but anyway, she's got a podcast that's gotten very political. Again, she used to be a tech reporter. She was actually a pretty decent tech reporter at one time and then she migrated into this political space and she seems to have really made her mark there. So she does not like Elon Musk at all, she is a contributor at CNN, at least I believe, as of most recently I imagine, things are going to be changing very, very quickly for one Ms. Kara Swisher. Kara Swisher, who is the tech correspondent, coming out, swinging just yesterday, Swisher is swishing. Okay, Swisher says that Elon Musk should be in jail. This is the new boss, she must have known, that would be my guess. Again, I reported what a couple of weeks ago, that this deal is probably happening. So she knew it was happening and she came out and she said the following on this podcast and he knocked her down hard, but let's just say, I guess if I were Kara, I'd be a little bit worried about my next move right about now. Let's take it away. Under Kamala Harris, he might be in jail right now, right, he is correct and that's not cause of she's some avenging fury, it's because there's a lot of questions around different companies of his. But if Donald Trump loses the House and Senate, I would worry, I'd be worried if I were him, you know, no matter how rich he is. There were all these agencies, some of which he put a knife in and killed in the doge many of whom are investigating him. He stopped like a half a dozen investigations.
of his various companies. So they're gonna start investigating again. You think he's not on the list, he's at the top of that list. Donald Trump obviously is at the top in his family, but Elon Musk is right up there for that. And you have to, he knows what's coming. Like he's not stupid, like all the many things you can say about him is he has a very big sense of fate and I think it's coming for him and real hard. - So he didn't really appreciate that. - He kind of became kind of a big dust off and on Twitter after she said that, he put this one out. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Those who pick fights with me should understand that I will find out who is really pulling the strings and come for them, not just their puppets. So I imagine that's a wink wink nod nod to the politicians that are pulling one Kara Swisher's strings or so he believes. So this again, becoming an issue, she's making these threats that somehow he's gonna wind up in jail and they hate him right now. They hate him because he has made it very clear where his allegiance is. Kara, again, whom you probably didn't even know before today, I mean, I understand some of the others are more out in front, like, you know, Wolf Blitzer or Christian Amampor who's already leaving or Jake Tapper, any of these people, but this tech reporter, she's been griping on for months about what was gonna happen if this deal went through and this deal went through. This deal went through and now the Ellison's own it and Elon Musk is a proud new owner of CNN. Lucky you, Kara. - Speaking of business, we've been talking about what political reporters, how they might adjust the way they covered the beat to meet the moment in terms of technology. There's also the business of, I don't mean to be rude, but that camera shot is a lot to see, I'll show you an impact on that technology by AI by the splintering because of social media, but also by the purchasing of the ownership by technology, billionaires, do you understand what they're doing? - I do. - Right, it's God. - Good move. You'll love it out here, it's much better. You don't wanna work for the Ellison's, I've spent a lot of time with the Ellison, he's a terrible person. - Okay, so you recently said that you would leave CNN if Paramount won the business for Warner Brothers, perhaps as soon as the new series airs, we wanna hear about the new series. - They haven't bought it yet, it's not finished yet. So is that a for sure thing? Is there a scenario in which you would stay anyway? - I don't see how. - Why, tell us. - Well, it's interesting 'cause they've been calling me. They've been very nice, they've got Kate Kara, a good show with Matt Bellenay, they're doing a lot of friendly friendly with me right now, which is like, too bad. It's not gonna happen for you, as I say. I don't think they'll be good owners, I don't. I think they've already shown several times, including editorial choices, which Scott knows more about than I though I know a lot, it's God. That they have no interest in journalism. And I refuse to work for an organization that doesn't respect journalists. And I don't mean not cutting, listen, I got out of journalism 'cause I understood the costs were too high and I could make a lot more money if I did it in a more efficient, more digital way. And I think a lot of the legacy organizations have been really stubborn in terms of understanding what's going on. That's not my issue, there has to be cuts. The costs are out of line with the audience, right? That's just the way it is. That's not even agreement. - It's a basic, like, disdain for it is anything useful. That there's not a way to reform it except for hiring someone who isn't a journalist. I'm sorry, I just don't, there's no reason for me to do that. And on some level, I don't have to because I've created my own media organization where I make a lot of money, so I don't have to. And so for me to stand up to say, I'm not working for you, hacks, I'm just not doing it. And it's not worth it to me, especially in a business television, which is the audiences are going like this and aging like this. So I do a lot better direct to consumer kind of thing. And so it just, it doesn't hurt me because I can wander over to MS if I feel like having a television that I can wander anywhere else. But it doesn't matter because I reach right now Pivot has a bigger demo in the 25 to 45 range than all the cable networks. - Oh, aren't you the bomb, right? You know what, we've all said that all along. So, okay, great, Cara, what were you doing over there? The begin with, were you just trying to show them the ropes or show them the way? I wonder why she ever bothered to go to CNN in the first place. So my question now is, when does Cara actually leave CNN, not that we really necessarily care? I think it's over, okay? It's over for Port Cara. Verly, you know, she's fine. She's gonna do her own thing. But you know, maybe it's not so fine for some of these other people because I don't know if they're gonna be able to go and do their own thing. I don't know if they're talented enough to do their own thing. I don't know if they can exist without that infrastructure. So, let's just say bottom line, good news for media. I think you need an Elon there. You need a David Ellis in there. You need to think about the future of all of this and it's gonna be changing drastically. And they don't like it. They're gonna go down kicking and screaming. We just thought Ilhan Omar, did we not trash in Elon Musk? Oh, Elon, she's after you. Well, let me just say they're after Elon. Forgive me. Elon and Elon. Okay, you understand. I've got a few too many Elon's. Anyway, Ilhan, there we go. Ilhan Omar is in a lot of trouble, as you well know, but we've got new developments I wanna bring you today before we get to that quick shout out to one of our great sponsors here on the Trish Regan Show, which, oh, I'm so thrilled to tell you, guess what, you get 55 now. At calci.com/r/trish, you can make trades there. This particular one I decided to throw up, who will be charged with a federal crime this year? And I wanted to mention that Ilhan Omar is actually topping the list here on calci at this moment. So you can trade on its prediction market. And I thought that was kind of interesting. They had a lot of different names on that. Ooh, Fanny's still on there. So, basically people are saying more so than not, although it's kind of even that they think, maybe there's nothing coming. I would actually disagree with that. So if I were gonna place a trade on this, my bias would probably go towards yes, something's gonna happen with Ilhan Omar. Something's gonna happen. You can trade on calci yourself. You can trade $25 and you get $55. So they just up the ante. It used to be $25 and $25. But they told me this morning, they were gonna do $55 for viewers of the Trish Regan Show. Go to calci.com/r/trish. And you don't just have to do Ilhan Omar. They got everything there, right? Everything, everything, everything. So take a look at what you're seeing in the prediction markets, vis-a-vis, what might happen for races in places like Texas or places like Michigan. Those are highly, highly watched or just the Senate overall and you can make those trades and predictions. Of course, always use caution. I encourage you because this is real money. But again, trade $25, get $55. Ilhan Omar is, I think in some very, very serious trouble. Ilhan Omar is probably going to be deported. Ilhan Omar is probably facing a real risk of jail. And it has to do with lying about who she is. And it has to do with repeatedly lying about who she is, including perhaps in a most recent application for her passport because while some might say, "Oh, you know, the statute of limitations might be over." The reality is if she continued to lie about who she is, then that statute gets renewed. Take a look at the warrant that was released for one Ilhan Omar and look at the name on here. They know exactly what's up. The Fed said that they had a federal search warrant for the personal residents in the District of Columbia of Congresswoman Ilhan Nur Sayeed Elmi aka Ilhan Abdulani Omar. So they know what's up. Don't forget, Nur Sayeed Elmi. Same name as the husband aka the brother. It is believed that that is the name that the family went by and they somehow just glommed on to Omar because there was an opportunity with a family named Omar out of Arlington, Virginia, that they were able to get into the country with. And so the father whose name it's believed was Nur Sayeed Elmi, Muhammad. He came in as Omar. Omar is a fake name. That is what is alleged right now. And I don't actually know as the feds have come right out and said that, I'm inferring that to some extent, just based on this documentation that we have with the search warrant. Anyway, Ilhan's trying to deal with this. Don't forget, she went silent for more than a week. We did not hear from her. They had conducted that raid at her home in Washington, DC and then all of a sudden crickets, right? And this is a woman who can't wait to talk all the time. They got, apparently, 17 hours.
items according to her and that included a lot of her electronics and included some of the husband's notebooks and included an old phone, even of her daughters that was in her daughter's bedroom, so they got a whole bunch of stuff and they left with it. They spent several hours, perhaps it was around four hours at her home. They showed up at 6 a.m. and so now she decided finally to come forward and speak. She did a little social media post because now she's asking for money. Of course, $5, $10, whatever you can give because somehow she's going to pay her personal legal expenses through her campaign funds. A lot of go over well too. I mean, the woman is really brazen, really brazen. Who in the world would have a $30 million mistake in their taxes and then sit on that for 10 months and tell us we were all crazy? All right. Who does that? Ilhan Omar. Who would marry their brother and then tell you you were the crazy and you were racist for suggesting that to begin with? Ilhan Omar. And we don't know about feeding our future. But let's just say this woman, in my estimation, does not have a very good track record. And she may have just dug herself in deeper because she decided to sit down with a very friendly reporter, credit to Chris Hayes on MS, not Ms. Now, getting the big interviews, surprise, surprise, surprise. I bet, boy, CNN is kicking themselves on that one. Now he swooped in and got the interview with Ms. Ilhan Omar, who did not in my estimation look good. In my estimation, might have actually incriminated herself some more. Don't forget, I don't know if I played this for you. I think I did all my short speed, Alan Dershwitz, really bright guy, great criminal, constitutional defense attorney. He said he would not be encouraging her to talk. No, no, no. You should be like radio silent instead. She couldn't help herself. She went on to MS Now and she said some weird things, okay, really, really weird things starting with this. You're going to come out on the other side of this with your freedom intact. I'm confident in my truth. In my truth, which is who the heck knows what? I mean, hey, if a boy can say he's a girl and a girl can say he's a boy and you can have pregnant men, then, hey, maybe your brother, if scientifically proven with DNA to be your brother, could actually be your love interest, hey, you know, I mean, it's just your truth. And that's all that matters, whatever's known on the little head of hers, which is not much. Okay? Let me show you her next answer because this was the layup. She's asked by Chris Hayes, basically, well, you didn't marry your brother, right? He's trying to help her. And she says something to the effect of not to my knowledge, are you kidding me? I'm sorry. Like, she should have talked to her lawyer and had a better answer than that one because now I think she's really done for and everybody saw it on television, well, all five viewers that watch MS now and Chris Hayes, you know, the guy that looks like Rachel Maddow. More people are saying, and of course, here and elsewhere on social media. But let's, let's watch it together and I'd like to know what you think. Every time he talks about you, he will casually say something wild about you. Like, he will tweet, Bill and Omar, she married her brother, blah, blah. You think you see that? You think yourself? Boy, that sounds odd. It seems unlikely that you married her brother. There are right-wing people who believe that this man was your brother. You have called her disgusting a lot. What? Who was this man that was your husband? When did they start saying that he was your brother? Why? I started with the Somali blog that I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that, you know, that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect and white-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it and they just kind of went and found random people who were like, she introduced us. She introduced him to us and said he was her brother. She's just, you know, insane. I mean, I don't know those people that they talk about. He was, you were not related to him at all. Not that. That's what we had. There's nothing more internal of truth than to some game that-- Not for my knowledge. That was the big gotcha, right, in terms of what you're talking about promising. Like, we're going to nail her on the marriage. Yeah. That was the source of the immigration fraud. That no longer seems to be the issue that they are putatively investigating, right? We've now moved on to whatever your representations your father made in his naturalization process about you. Yeah. So it's also very convenient because my dad is no longer alive, right? So it's another thing they can drag on forever. Right. Because the person who signed the paperwork and did it all no longer here to answer the charge, right, even though they have the papers that he signed, right? And like, the people who knocked on my door searching for papers literally have his papers. They are the ones who processed us to come through the United States. Right. Well, technically, they don't. We've been through that already. I'll show you the lack of documentation. And I get to say a few things. Do you know how she said not to my knowledge? And if somebody asks you, did you marry your brother? You think your answer is not to my knowledge? Again, go back and this, this reporter is just awful. This guy is just a very sad excuse for a reporter because he jumps all over her. It's like, he doesn't want her to have to answer the question. All he had to do was ask it. And yet he said this, not that bad. So there's a way of curled. You see that? You can't even get the answer out. Yes, and said he was her brother, which is, you know, insane. I mean, I don't, I don't know those people that they talk about. He was not, you were not related to him at all. Not that bad. Not that bad. So there's just a way of curled truth that's through some game. Not to my knowledge. That was the big gotcha, right? In terms of what you're talking about promising. Not to my knowledge. Again, who says that? As for the father, guys, we've been through this. Let's see. Again, AJ Kern, she was running against Ilhan Omar. And so she went and asked the government for information on whether or not he, in fact, was a citizen. And it turns out US citizenship and immigration services has no record of this guy under any name. Now, yes, maybe it could have been lost, but then the burden of proof becomes on Ilhan Omar, legally speaking, she's got to actually produce this documentation. And if she can't, then how are we to believe she was ever naturalized? She's not a naturalized citizen. Not to mention if he came here under false pretenses having been part of the army of a horrific regime, then he's not really a refugee. He would have lied about his status on top of which the last name is not really the last name, and we're going to get into that because that is a big, big, big red flag. It looks as though he may have attached himself to another family in order to get citizenship here. And this was a common practice. And this is why this case is so much bigger than Ilhan Omar. This is actually possibly going to entrap tens of thousands of people who came here from Somalia ahead of 2008, when they finally started demanding some DNA. Of course, they started demanding the DNA. They started sampling it, and they found out that nobody was actually related. They were coming in on the P3 program saying, oh, yeah, I get this family member and that family member, and they're all coming in. And then all of a sudden the Bush administration does a random sampling. They find out 80% of the people are not related, so they shut the whole thing down. So what happens now? If they can go back and trace all those people, they're going to lose citizenship. This is so much bigger than Ilhan Omar. Of course, we have to assume they're going to be able to pull that one off. We're going to have to assume that they're going to be able to do the due diligence and basically request all of these people come in for DNA because it looks as though many, many, many people lied, including her family. And then she continued to lie. So the feds are trying to piece this whole thing together, and they're not just looking at immigration. As Janine Puro told us, the DOJ is also investigating her finances. That means feeding our future. The husband's finances. So this is relevant. When they went in, they took a whole bunch of stuff. She's saying they didn't take any specific DNA. She's saying they didn't swipe her. She's saying they didn't take a toothbrush or anything now. We are told that they already got the DNA. They already have it. So that sort of case closed on that front and they went down.
Amsterdam and in order to get it, I guess they got an old hairbrush or some old toothbrushes in the garbage Anyway, let's go back to her because here she is recounting some of the things that they took and didn't take and gets into the subject of the DNA There was reporting they took DNA No They did not no Do you know that for a fact that they didn't take like a toothbrush or a comb or something like that? None of that was listed in the because they have to give you a seat of the items that are seized So I would have seen if they did take anything that had contained DNA and they didn't like make a request for you of like a swab or anything like that Okay, I think that that was already gotten They already had some DNA. I suspect you're looking at the original raid video that had come in that day that last Monday I suspect they got some the DNA Already because again they had gone to the garbage and they had also had warrants from the sister So I think that part is case closed. They were looking for some other things. They were looking for Electronics they probably were looking for the husband's information whether it be via notebooks Whether it be in a laptop because they're trying to piece together His financial situation and the complexity around the $30 million valuation for his businesses that then suddenly Disappeared overnight. So I want to go back to the interview from MS now that they did exclusively Very very big news value here in terms of Ilhan Omar admitting what was going on how they went about this raid and what they took listen Then they start searching the house, right What where did they go and what did they take they went room by room And they Took 17 items Yeah Those include a number of phones right including your personal phone. Yeah, they took my phone An old phone. I believe that was a travel phone of mine My youngest daughter's first phone That was also old sitting in her room And then a phone that I just got and replaced That was still in my position They also took my understanding is like a few keepsakes like something that your Husband got for graduation from his grandfather is that right from his uncle Who he gave him this camera? I think it's from the 60s and he was in the Navy and and it had He'd used it to document his life while he was stationed abroad. They took that they took that they took a Somali phrase book for children your husband is using to learn Yeah, somebody gifted my husband a book that helps people learn Somali. How is it Somali? It's getting better What do you know is the basics? I don't think we could say anything. Not so easy around. Yeah How long did they took his notebooks? They took his notebooks. How long did the whole thing take? No books I want to say I mean, it was hours four to five hours wow. Yeah One of them, which was why I was surprised when they handed me the receipt for the items that they've taken To do that long of a search and to walk away with 17 items um of like 10 that were just notebooks and like old phones was such a bizarre bizarre thing The notebooks that's important and you notice once again how the reporter just like glosses over that The reporter doesn't want to dwell on that the reporter wants to dwell on what was the Somalian phrase book Because the reporter is so blatantly biased. It's actually nauseating. Okay. I'm sorry, but you know MS now you get to do better Maybe CNN will start to do better now that Elon's in there along with Ellison Anyway, she looks scared to me. Her voice sounds awful. I agree But her voice always sounds awful guys. This is what you would call a vocal fry It's when you don't support your voice I know this because I am a trained opera singer and spent years studying classical voice She's not supporting her voice she does. I can't even do it because I can't even imagine talking like that It actually is like hard to listen to and it's terrible for your vocal chords Anyway, she's got the classic vocal fry and she's just going on and on and on It's all everybody else's fault right and you are a freaking Big it if you think that she's guilty of anything That's the go-to line and I'm sorry lady I'm sorry. You know what? This is America and in America we have rules and in America we expect you to play by those rules so Accept it or go home to Somalia where there are no rules and you can pirate all you want all day long Okay, this is just how it's done. You don't lie on your passport application You don't lie when you try and get citizenship and you don't lie straight through your teeth when the reporter asked you Did you marry your brother and you sit there and say Not to my knowledge No way. I mean looks now. She's just saying this is all about intimidation. It's ahead of the Midterms and they're trying to keep people from going to the polls and this is I mean that that's her new song and dance and she's also saying that it's totally political. Let me remind you guys That a Biden judge signed off On the warrant Another judge signed off on the warrant for her sisters home and plenty of Warns were issued were told there were multiple warrants that were executed. Let me also add to this The Ilhan Omar was under investigation by Biden's DOJ Mm-hmm and also by Biden's Treasury Department So it's not like this is anything new. I mean they stood down They stood down because guess what and you're gonna learn this from my guest coming up He was the original reporter. They broke all of this news going back 10 years And he said they have their ammo basically you get a letter from the lawyer and they accuse you of racism And they you just don't want somebody from Somalia to succeed and ttttttttttttt and you know darn well We all know well Biden folded the minute he heard that right? Let's not pursue this not to mention we need that community if anybody's gonna win Minneapolis They need that community. It don't want to tick them off. So she thought she could do this She thought she could keep on getting away with it and guess what times up She said, oh, you know what if these were serious people they wouldn't have gone after me because this has been looked into before Hmm You know if there were real people Who are not politically motivated like there were real people in 2019 And there were real people in 2024 when they looked at my husband and my finances um that Yeah, they they they would be no indictment. They would be you know No continuation Um of this and yes, they would never have been as as everyone has said even people who are currently at the OJ That there was no reason to execute this Search warrant because in the search warrant it also said they had a window of six a.m. To 10 p.m So to come at six um tells you that you know and then they tipped off fox news right they were the first On-site um and there there are tools Six a.m. You know a lot of people are up at six a.m Clearly not illon. You know, she'd been traveling. I think she was out at care in Seattle having done some kind of event there And so she thinks that This is all political that somehow there was an intimidation tactic being employed by showing up at six a.m. Perhaps ilhan They just wanted to make sure you were there Maybe it would have been a little harder if you weren't there. I don't know what the exact rules are around this but She said she was sitting on the couch as they did all this she said she initially didn't even Tax her lawyer that it took her some time before she got her lawyer involved But they were going through her stuff. She was sitting on the couch Maybe they wanted to make sure that she was there for whatever reason as opposed to not being there Anyway, she's still just you know determined to to advance this narrative that it's poor little ilhan I'll tell you as she looks like poor little ilhan. She looks like scared little ilhan I think she's probably panicked right now because all the lies are coming crashing down This is like a nightmare, right? Can you imagine living such a lie living such a massive big lie? And then on this kind of scale It's all unraveling I mean It's got to be awful I'm sure she's scared I don't feel bad though
And neither should you, because let's just remember you're a representative in Congress in the United States of America. And you're supposed to be representing the people of Minnesota's interests. And instead, well, don't take my word for it. Go back and listen to the President of Somalia. He said she's not representing the people of the U.S. She's not representing the people of Minnesota. She's representing Somalia. I'm sorry. We need people who are going to represent us. So I don't feel bad. I'll never feel bad. Listen to this. I mean, you don't show up to somebody's house that early in the morning, unless you're trying to freak them out. And you know, it obviously did freak all of us out. I only had two and a half hours to sleep when they came pounding on the doors. Will you just tell me a little bit about what that moment was like? What time in the morning was it? 6am, I'd been traveling. So I'd got in like 1.32, I think I went to bed like 3.30. And so it was, you know, trying to figure out, like, if you're dreaming this weird thing, that's happening. But they basically surrounded the house. They were pounding on the back door and the front door. And you know, we were screaming. We were coming down. Our bedrooms upstairs trying to put on clothes and, you know, trying to run down before they broke the door. When they're pounding, are they saying federal agents, Homeland Security open the door? Are they announcing who they are? They were shouting something, but it was unclear to us when we were upstairs. Did you think it was intruders? What did you think when you heard the pounding on the door and the voices outside? I thought something was on fire. I thought something was happening to the neighbors. It sounded like an urgent evacuation sort of situation. Again, like I said, I only had, you know, maybe 2 to 1/2 hours to sleep. And so it took us a while to figure out what was actually happening even after we opened the door. It's sort of amazing that her lawyers let her go and do that. You see, this is a direct public appeal. Poor little immigrant girl from Somalia has big bad Trump all over her because it turns out she lied on her immigration forms and she lied in terms of her marriage forms. Now again, this is all alleged, but when you listen to the reporter, I'm going to show you who I just sat down with. I mean, it's pretty clear and she's been singing the same song and dance. I mean, he makes the point and you'll hear it again from him, but he makes the point that she never thought she was going to get into this business. This kind of just all sort of happened and she didn't do all the blocking and tackling that one would do if you want to have a career in politics. Let's face it, if you're going to have a career in politics, you kind of have to live like a priest or a nun, okay? You kind of have to have all the ducks in a row because if there are any skeletons in that closet, they're going to come out and find them. And for her, that's like one big old skeleton. I mean, she's not even American somehow. I mean, that's pretty crazy, you know what's crazy too, is my phone just started playing my own show when I better turn it off. I don't know if you can hear my voice in the background. No, I must have hit play, so that was a little scary. Hey, we're coming up on Halloween, right? The beauty of life, the beauty of life, anyway, it's off. I think that we've got to also think about not just the citizenship, but this other leg of the story. And I know it's not getting as much attention right now, but the accounting, right, because how does one go from 0 to 60, or in this case, 0 to 30 million overnight? You're married to me, mine and all of a sudden his businesses are worth 30 million. By the way, why was she paying him, Chris Hayes never asked about this, 2.8 million dollars to run the campaign. That in and of itself is a huge ethical violation. Anyway, she's asked about this and I guess she wants us once again to know she's just poor little Ilhan. Right, let me ask about the second part of the world that the president has conjured about you, which is, which is your fabulous wealth. He has said that like, I mean, again, you just, you can ever track what the president's actually saying, because he says a lot of things that you love how he has to get a dig in there. This is just the worst interview. He cannot interview to save his life. You really ought to go back to commentary anyway. We go on. It's funny that you try to want a card, you have a house, they cited a financial disclosure for Congress that initially said that your husband's firm was worth 30 million dollars. That was before an accountant put in the liabilities of that firm, which then brought the 30 million down to like, essentially net zero, $20,000, which should make me worry a little about your husband's business to be honest. He's not in them anymore. I was like, well, that seems like a big difference between 30 million dollars and $20,000. There was a congressional oversight body that voted that there was no wrongdoing, there's no evidence of wrongdoing. What is your financial situation? I mean, it's, you know, working, working class, I guess like a paycheck to paycheck still, you know, we've got four kids. And, you know, we live, I think like a basic life. I have a Toyota Camry, that's from 2016, well, only car. I went my DC place and my Minneapolis place, and so, I mean, I don't know that that sounds like, you know, not majority of Congress, but there's some of us that don't come from wealth and don't have wealth. Is that a big divide in Congress? It is. Yeah, because you have like the millionaires and then you have the nonsexuals, you know, when we first went to Congress, had to borrow money to find a place that's expensive. It's expensive, yeah. To live in two places? Yeah. Or little Ilhan. Do you feel bad for her yet? I mean, that's what this was all about. So, she's catering to her base. I'm not sure why. I mean, maybe on behalf of the Democrat Party, she thinks that this is going to help legally speaking, I don't think it helps, because now she's once again on record trying to tell the world, to her knowledge, she didn't marry her brother. You know, I got to say, she's clever in the lying, but it's just sort of, it's amazing to me. I go back to the 30 mil, listen, lady, I don't know how you make a 30 million dollar mistake on your taxes. I don't know how you sign off on that. But once you do, and people start asking, wouldn't you be racing to correct the record? Wouldn't you say, hang on, I'm really sorry, we're actually fixing that. Understand, it's in the process of being fixed as we speak, as reporters are asking questions. Instead, she's like, I mean, the poor Allison from Lindell TV, I mean, she's just done a terrific job going after Ilhan, catching up with her in the hallways, and she'd say, hey, you know, this doesn't make sense. And Ilhan looks at her and totally turns it on her and accuses her of all kinds of things. I mean, the lying, again, I get back to the lying and this giant web of lies that she has created for herself. And now she's stuck on her hind feet trying to justify all this and all she can come up with is you guys are racist for even saying these things or thinking these things to begin with. Things they are trying to get her out all together, Ilhan Omar believes they are trying to not just deport her, but discourage her from being in politics forever. I would just say, yeah, you know, you probably shouldn't be in politics if you're not a U.S. citizen. Okay, but let's just start there. We don't seem to have any proof that your dad was naturalized. Maybe you've got it. Okay, fine. Well, let's go with that. And let's just say, was he who he says he was? Does that his name or was it actually El Sayid, Near El Sayid, El Mi? Okay, I don't think it was actually ever Omar. We've got more on not in a second, but just back to this interview for a moment. She said they they're trying to get rid of her. I think they're more than trying to get rid of her, frankly, everyone to just tap out. And I think I think that is now you've got the real question. I think that is ultimately what they want. Well, obviously, they like to see me locked up, they poured in all of those things. But I think they want worse than that, unfortunately, but I think the bigger satisfaction for them would be for me to be like, listen, like, I'm tired of all of you. And I'm going to leave because they've always believed that someone of my background, you know, of my faith, shouldn't be in Congress, shouldn't have a position where they are influencing US law. You see, once again, we're back at the well. And you're going to hear this from Scott, from Scott Johnson coming up because he said this is all she's ever said when his initial story came out 10 years ago, this is what he was met with.
But this is her excuse. And I think that's, you know, that's ultimately the thing that they want. But in a country, I know the president keeps saying she talks with the Constitution. In a country governed by our Constitution, I have a legal right to be a member of Congress, and I am honored that people who helped welcome my family and helped raise me also think so. I don't actually think that you have a right. If you are not actually a US citizen, though, and that is the distinction. So a couple things going on. One, the alleged lying on the documentation, including perhaps so recently as a new passport. If she was lying about her name on the new passport, then that's going to basically kick in the renewal, so there's no statute of limitations. By the way, there's no statute of limitations on the civil side, but this kicks it in for the criminal side, which is why Donald Trump keeps saying she's probably not just facing deportation, but she's also facing jail. He also has alluded to feeding our future and the $17 billion of fraud in Minnesota. And somehow, she's always around that one as well. Remember what he said. >> Elon Omar's age. Could she be deported? >> She could be. She could also go to jail. She could also go to jail, you know, they keep talking about deportation. No, she could go to jail. This is just my opinion. I think she's a sick, a very dishonest person, but who hates our country? And she comes from a country that is essentially not even a country. >> Wow. So he's back off on Somalia again, and there's a reason for that that I'm going to get to, because it's related. And I actually think that it's the reason why this story is so much bigger than Ilhan Omar, because there's a lot of people that came here from Somalia pre-2008, and they actually were not who they said they were. And it was a big concern. So much so at the time that the Bush administration shut down that P3 program. As far as where she's heading next, I mean, she's told us before she's not afraid. She'll just leave the country, right? >> I don't know how they take away my citizenship and deport me, but I don't even know why that's such a scary threat. I'm not the eight-year-old who escaped war anymore. I'm grown, my kids are grown, I can go live whatever I want. >> Okay, you might want to do that. You might want to exercise that off-child, although I still think we have an extradition. An extradition treaty with Somalia, so that might not work out perfectly. Yeah. Might be a little complicated. Anyway, Todd Blanche headed the DOJ coming out today and being rather evasive in terms of the information, don't forget, we do have, we do have the warrant. So this has been leaked, and if you look closely at this warrant, tell me the feds know. Congresswoman Ilhan Nursahid Elmi, they refer to her as otherwise known as Ilhan Abdulani Omar. So they know her real name, and the real name would then be exactly the same as the brother's name and a bunch of other people. So this is a problem, a very, very, very big problem for her. Todd Blanche being asked about the raid, et cetera, and taken the hybrid. >> Well, so we don't talk about searches. Searchers are covert. They're not overt, and yes, and this became overt because of the circumstances throughout the search on Monday. But that is a covert operation as a search warrant, and anytime you apply for a search warrant, one of the factors of the rules is why it needs to happen on a persona to a search warrant and not a subpoena, and why it has to happen on that day, and not some other day. And as the Magistrate Judge found that we needed to do it then, we were not, our comment, I don't know what, you know, the congresswoman has made multiple public comments about it. I haven't. So there's a law enforcement action, that's all I've said. So, and again, this does not violate the 60-day rule, or whatever rule, which is not a regular rule, it's just a practice, and when we have to execute a search warrant or an arrest, if there's a crime that occurs, we take into consideration the purpose, and making sure the purpose is proper, which is what the Justice Manual requires. And that's what we did then, and that's what we do in every case. >> Yes, there's some concern with the consolidation of the Norfolk field office. Might hear solid crimes like this, and the future can you touch on on that effort before? >> I don't, I, that concern has not been raised to me. So I can't touch on, sorry, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't know, a few years. >> I think, I think it's going to be up to the end of the day. >> Anyway, his point just is, you know, he's not going to tell us much more about that search. We know that they know what her real name is, which is very, very interesting. So she's really scared right now. I mean, she's got to have mounting legal bills. This is getting ugly. Like I said, can you imagine living a lie? Think your whole life, your whole political life, one big, giant lie. You marry Ahmed number one, you have kids with him, then a med number two comes into the act from London. Who is probably your brother, and you marry him in a Christian ceremony, weird. And that one gets officially filed on record, and yet, you're still out campaigning in the first election for state representative with Ahmed number one, the one that you have kids with. And you're still filing your taxes, joint filing with a med number one, while a med number two is like off in school and this, that, and the other, and then suddenly, you're on the national stage. There's a representative for the United States of America from Minnesota, and all of the lies are catching up to you. So you just keep telling everybody they're racist, and you hope that sticks. And then Donald Trump comes along, and let me just say that's not going to work anymore, Ilhan Omar. Yeah, she's scared. She's out begging for cash. Forgive me yesterday because I only showed you a brief clip. It was the one that I had seen the most of, but this is a slightly bit longer. She was in the back of a car. She must have made the decision to go public because she had been quiet for so long. We aren't really sure where she is, but you guys are good, you guys are good, and I got to tell you, you were doing all kinds of forensic work on your own. Let me see if I can share with you one of the comments. I got a ton of comments because you had gone back and you were looking at where she might have been, and you had concluded that you still thought it was in Minneapolis. Let me share, for example, this one comment. I told you I read the comments. Somebody's saying, Randy Hawks is saying, look, I put Omar's picture of her car in Gemini, the white building in the picture is the crank communications building, commonly known as the Smurf its stone building, located at 150 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, actually says we've put her in Chicago overlooking Millennium Park, the photo captures, it's distinctive white facade, vertical slit window, and unique slanted diamond shape roof, as we have seen from the vehicle, anyway, we're going to look at the entire exchange, it's still short, she really wasn't given us much here, but she, she had a few things to say about what was going to happen. And what was going on and how much help she needed. Here we go. Hi, everyone in here. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support to everyone who sent a note of support for everyone who sent $5, $10, $20, that goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration for trying to intimidate me. And so many people wait before the midterm elections, we know that they're running scared, we're not going to be intimidated, we're not going to be silenced, we're not going to be scared, I'll be out there campaigning alongside all of you and making sure that we beat back all of this and that we win in the midterms, win the House, win the Senate, and hold this administration accountable. Thank you so much again, and please continue to support us. It is going to be a very expensive and challenging time, and so we appreciate whether you're able to send $5, $10, $20, thank you. Okay, so like I said, not a whole lot of substance there, just a big giant grab for money. She just need your money, and it's really all in 64 seconds total. So, you know, Ilhan, I get it, of course you need money. You're begging right now because you're going to have some steep legal bills with some serious problems. You know, she got in trouble years ago, apparently because she was using campaign funds to pay legal bills, and it may not be kosher to do that. But, you know, again, until. intimidation. She says, this is intimidation. I'm not going to be intimidated. I'm not going to be silenced. Nobody's trying to silence you, Ilhan. No, if anything we want, we want to hear more. We actually want to hear more. We want to hear how it is that you came by your US citizenship. But she's, you know, she's claiming that the Somalian population is not going to come out to vote because they're scared. I will say that they've got a very heavy Somalian population there that is critical to Democrats in the city of Minneapolis. Here is a Minnesota campaign commercial. Okay. So they're speaking entirely in Somalian and that's on the airwaves now in Minnesota. And so they're trying to make sure that nobody feels intimidated that they're going to come out to vote because this is her theory. Somehow, you know, the 36,000 people that came here pre-2008 might start getting a little bit nervous. I mean, I would be nervous. Right? If I, if I had lied about my citizenship, wouldn't you? To intimidate us, to stop the base of the Democrats to feel like, okay, if I am an immigrant myself, a naturalized citizen. Yes. Or I come from an immigrant heritage, right? Like I could be a person that people might think I'm undocumented, then I better stay home. And, you know, as I said earlier, almost every indication when it comes to voting, early voting that we're getting is that it's up and up and up, that people are furious. People understand what they're trying to do and no one here in Minnesota is going to allow them to intimidate us. I don't think it's really about that, though. I think it's really about right and wrong. And whatever information the judge got, as you heard earlier from the head of the DOJ, Todd Blanche, this is not political, whatever information the judge got, it was believed that they had to move on this now. And they moved on this now. They didn't wait. And yes, you know, maybe there's some kind of bias against moving ahead of an election, but this was a Biden judge and the Biden judge swore off on it. And just to be really clear, when you're dealing with a Biden judge in DC, the bias is to definitely not have the rate or at least to wait until after the election. And yet they did it anyway. So why the big concern? I mean, I kind of wonder, and I'm speculating here just to be really clear. This is total speculation. I just think that this is bigger than just immigration fraud. Yes, I think it's immigration fraud. And I think a lot of people could be trapped up in that. And that's where you get the Rico case. But my concern still comes back to finances and financial fraud. And the idea that somehow Al Shabbat could be caught up in this in some way, shape or form, do not forget what I've told you about the most money coming out of the Minneapolis airport of any single airport in the country going back to Somalia, going back to Dubai, going back to parts of the Middle East. So why is so much cash leaving? Seriously, it's part of the Huala network. And you know who gets their cut of the Huala network, the terrorist financiers. So I'm just saying, I think that this is far more problematic even than not that it's not problematic. I mean, what the heck do you have somebody who's not an official US citizen there as a representative of Congress? I mean, that's a pretty big deal. But you've got all of these other layers as well. So no, Ilhan, this is not about intimidation. This is about making sure that we have a country that protects itself and protects its borders. And don't forget, she's also the one who's, who's more aligned, frankly, with Hamas than anything else. I mean, a known terror organization for goodness sakes. And then when we dare to question this, when we dare to say, hey, do you have proper documentation? Somehow, we're the bad ones. So I sat down moments ago with an attorney who's practiced in Minneapolis for 30 some odd years. He is the co-founder of a blog called Powerline blog.com. And 10 years ago, he got tipped off on this when she was just a state she was running for state representative. And see, he started following it. The feds have spoken to him. He's got a lot of information. And I just spoke to him. So I want to bring you that conversation right now. It is truly fascinating. My thanks to Scott Johnson for sitting down with me today. Watch. So happy to have on the program. Scott Johnson, Scott, I've been telling everybody you're coming on because your reporting has been, honestly, just outstanding and super fascinating. You started following for Powerline blog Ilhan Omar way back. I mean, when she was just a state representative, it was actually when she was running for state representative. She, she won a primary in August 2016. She defeated a 22 term incumbent heroine named Phyllis Khan. I hadn't heard the name Ilhan Omar until she won that primary, but the star tribune featured, you know, its report on that primary result, like a Dewey defeats Truman kind of a thing. And I thought it reflected the demographic changes in that West Bank part of Minneapolis, Cedar Riverside, little Mogadishu and the University of Minnesota are over there. That was the environment that Phyllis Khan came out of. It was also the environment that Ilhan Omar came out of. I thought that's what it reflected. But so I hadn't heard of her. I was just kind of interested on the Wednesday following that primary, we were emailed a link to a site called Somali spot with a post that talked about Ilhan Omar as being married to two guys, one in 2002, one in 2009, one of whom was her brother. And I thought that was kind of interesting and wondered how I might follow up on it. And after a day or so, I found a site, an official Minnesota marriage database that's available online and I put Ilhan Omar's name in there and outpop the name of these two guys and the dates of the marriages as reflected on this Somali spot site, except that she hadn't actually followed through with a marriage to the first guy who was advertised as the father of her children and her real husband in her campaign. And the second was a 2009 legal marriage that she did actually do to a guy named Ahmed Noris Sayyid Elmi whom the post on Somali spot said was her brother. So when I found that and found that the information seemed to check out, I went to Omar's site and looked up the phone number of her communications manager for the campaign and called the communications manager on Friday morning of that week. And I said, I assume you're familiar with this post on Somali spot that talks about Ilhan being married to two guys, one of whom is her brother, can you give me a comment? And the campaign communications manager said I'll get back to you this afternoon. Well, it was more like 6 p.m. that evening, I didn't hear back from the campaign communications manager, but rather from an attorney, Minneapolis attorney, criminal defense attorney, named Gene Brandel with a really obnoxious non-response response of the classic variety, not giving me a comment, but calling me a bigot. And you know, somebody like Donald Trump, who didn't want to see the success of a minority in spades Ilhan Omar. And I thought, wow, that's really interesting. And I wrote up a post that night and posted it on Powerline, Ilhan Omar, her back pages and put it up on Powerline. And you know, it kind of took on a life of its own. By the next Thursday, Trish, you know, it had generated enough interest and people looking into it that there was a page one story in the start of you and the following Thursday. So that was within a week of what I first wrote about it, talking about the controversy that I had raised. And I've learned a lot more about what happened in the Omar campaign during that week since then for a reason, I'll tell you in a minute. But the reporter on that story was a guy named Patrick Cooliken. And Patrick called me up on Wednesday night and said, I've gotten a statement from the Omar campaign. They deny that the guy is her brother. And I asked Patrick, who do they say he is? And he told me they won't tell me. And I thought, wow, Patrick has never reported that I did. But I thought that's really interesting. They won't tell him who he is. There's probably a reason for that. And but anyway, his story turned up on page one of the start, reviewing that Thursday. And the controversy continued for a week or two until a reporter suggested that Omar was under investigation by the United States Attorney's Office for Minnesota and Jean Brandle contacted the United States Attorney for Minnesota.
Democrat Andy Louger, Jean Randall being the attorney that had reached out to him. Jean Randall, yeah her name, BR and DL, Jean Randall, the attorney who had given me the obnoxious non-response response, sent a letter to Andy Louger asking if there was any truth to the rumor that she was under investigation. And Andy Louger responded to her in a very, reflex letter that just said she's not under investigation by his office. As I, I'm paraphrasing, it's a very short letter. And that essentially killed the controversy as of 2016. But in 2019, there were several of us who continued with the story. The only fact that belied what I had reported was Ilhan Omar's denial that the guy was her brother. But she was in fact, you know, as she said, married culturally to the father of her children, this guy and what was on the marriage database as marriage. He was the first on that. Okay. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Number one, you need a scorecard. And then I'm at Northside, Elmi was no longer around the Twin Cities in 2016, but she was still married to him. And who was he? Well, and the Omar campaign didn't seem to know much about him either. They flew in a consultant. No, they treated this as a campaign, political crisis, like Chapa Quiddick, when Teddy Kennedy flew in the former JFK brain trust, like Teddy Sorensen and others to figure out, well, what do we do now? And in 2019, there was a new load of documents that became public that I got my hands on. The 2016 campaign gave rise to a complaint that Omar had committed campaign finance violations of the Minnesota State Campaign finance law and connection with her run for the 2016 legislative office. And they investigated and found her to have committed a number of rinky dink infractions. It was like the law didn't apply to her, but it was all rinky dink stuff that has come back to haunt her. Rinky dink, like what? Yeah, exactly. And in fact, Ben Weingarten has a brilliant column today, you know, this week at Federalist talking about this issue, her use of campaign funds that reflect the issue she was dealing with in 2016, that the immigration authorities appear to have looked at the bonafides of her marriage. You look at these documents, you see her campaign file, the FOIA request, for what she had, she Omar had filed when they sought to legalize the brother. There's a reference in the emails to a FOIA request with the United States Customs and Immigration Service. And her campaign people are trying to figure out, well, what did she ask for? What did she get? So that's where it ends. It's kind of a limited period of time, but you see the internal email correspondence in her campaign that turns up in this investigative file that became public in 2019. And Trish, I began writing about, it was such an interesting file. Just one other fact, the file includes her 2014 and 2015 joint tax returns with Ahmed number one, the guy she never married, until after all of this, while she was legally married to Ahmed nor Saeed Elmi. Okay, so I'm sorry, but she's also to me anyway, not that bright, because there's just too too many red flags. I mean, wow, she's filing taxes with one guy. Well, she knows everybody's suspicious about her because, you know, she's supposed to be married to the other. Trish, this is the way I put it. She did not live a life that anticipated a high flying career in American politics. And as I say, she didn't get into politics until 2016. She obviously had ambitions. One thing I didn't mention to you, but she went to London and I think she was introduced by her brother in a video that I watched several times that was available on Facebook. She went to appear in London before a Somali audience introduced by her brother saying, hey, I'm going to run for the state legislative office in Minnesota next year. It's going to be a really big deal. I don't know if she raised money over there, but it was before a very excited crowd. And as I recall, she was introduced by her brother. I watched that video a few times in the aftermath of the first stuff that I wrote on Powerline about her. And I went back to watch it that night, the same day that I had found it. And it had been wiped, like just about all the social media that showed her family relationships. But we still see it, you know, fortunately, because you documented so much of this and people can go to Powerline blog and see it all. I certainly have been showing some of it. I'm just blown away. And I'm also blown away because if you watch that Chris Hayes interview that she did, she basically is saying it's racist. I mean, that goes back to the, I guess, original excuse when you first started poking around and that it's right-wing conspiracy. And, you know, we're the crazies. So I'll forget to come back to this, but in 2019, when the investigative file became public, I got a hold of it the first day it was available and started going through it. And I was extremely, and I'm in there. They're talking about how do we deal with me? Can we go to the start review and ask them to kill the story? They knew that they were working on a story, stuff like that. So I started writing about it every day on Powerline in a series trying to embarrass the start review and into covering these documents, which I thought were interesting. So I emailed the reporter whom I had spoken with in 2016 and had met with a few times subsequently Patrick Coulican. And he responded to me, but at a certain point, he quit responding to me. And I thought, "Wow, maybe they're working on a story." And later that month, June 2019, Patrick and another start-to-been reporter, Stephen Montamey, published a 3,000-word story on the start-to-been that's headline something like new documents on Omar, raised old issues or something like that. It was the most red start-to-been story of 2019. As I say, it's long. It's written in kind of a skeptical tone, but these guys, Patrick and Stephen, asked Omar for an interview. They asked her to make available her family for interviews, her father, who was then alive at the time and her brother to whom she'd been married. But that's the story they were looking into. And they got the same response. It's in the story. They got the same response in 2019 that I did in 2016, which is, you guys are a bunch of bigots who just don't want to see Somali woman be successful or whatever. They were left-wing reporters for a left-wing newspaper who got the same treatment I did. So when you refer to her attribution or imputation of right-wing conspiracy theories to me and the few others, Priya Samson, and David Steinberg, who followed up on this story between 2016 and 2019, they don't mention that the start-to-been story, which did not come up with a single fact to support her denial, except her denial. Her denial is a fact, but it's not true. So that's what you've got on the other side is social media and stuff like that. And the marriage license signed off on by a Christian pastor because everybody knew it was a joke. It wasn't a bona fide thing to, I'm at number two, at the start-to-been story. And it says, "We can't find the social media. We can't verify that what I've got on our site is for real, although I can, but it's written in that story." And I would think the way back machine, the feds would be able to go back and use the way back machine to verify some of this stuff too, because it should still live forever, which brings us right to the federal investigation that's going on. What do you think was the reason they decided to go in? And by the way, you saw the warrant, the warrant has the two different names. Okay, I've got to go in stages here. I've got so many questions for you Scott, but you've got the warrant that actually comes out and names her as having the Said Elmi name, as well as the Omar name. Her real name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. That's what I've been saying for the past 10 years, Trish. And there it is in the government papers that were filed yesterday. But what's on the passport? Well, you know, I think that's another path they've taken in this investigation because that those issues wouldn't be barred by statutes of limitations, like the marriage fraud stuff that goes back to 2009 and related divorce stuff. But I think she's committed a variety of misrepresentations that raise live issues that are of a legal variety.
because if you're filing for the passport again, under the wrong name, now let's talk about why it could be the wrong name. Again, I go back and I'm gonna cite some of your reporting because you pointed this out and I was like, wow. So up until 2008, a lot of people could come in from, it was mostly Liberia, Somalia, and Ethiopia and they could come into this country and they could come in through the P3 program so you could bring in all your family. The only thing is, there was no DNA testing. So eventually, Bush decided in 2008, hey, you know, maybe we should do some DNA tests and for those that were willing to do the DNA test is not everybody was willing. It turned out that 80% of them had no relation like it was not their family. So then the question becomes, she took this name Omar from, I guess, an Arlington, Virginia family. And was that just made up out of thin air? - We think that they came in a David Stein, I really rely on David Steinberg's work around this and we posted it on Powerline in 2019. Have I got that right? Yeah, 2016, 2019. When the second wave of information came out, David wrote a long piece for us where he reconstructed who the family was and where they went. Half the family went to London. I'm at North Saeed Elmi, Muhammad, North Saeed Elmi and a sister, Leyla, North Saeed Elmi, who raised Ahmed, North Saeed Elmi. But the family here, Ilhan her father and her older sister were unhappy with the life that Ahmed, North Saeed Elmi was living in London and this is what I was told at the time. They brought him over here to extract him from that life. And I think that this marriage in 2009, Ilhan and Ahmed, North Saeed Elmi was undertaken. It was signed off on by a Christian minister, every twist and turn in her marital saga, which is extensive, is explained by reference to her faith tradition. But it always leaves out that the marriage to her brother was signed off on on a marriage license by a Christian minister. Well, why would that be? I guarantee that Chris Hayes didn't know enough or care enough to ask about it when he had the opportunity yesterday. So. Well, I mean, he's got his biases. He wants to see her succeed for her other reasons. I suspect. Well, I wish you would answer some of those questions. I have, you know, I just want to say, I bear her no personal animus. And I got out of the story, not knowing who she was or anything about her, but as one thing led to another, I thought, wow, I've never seen anything like this. And that's why I haven't let go of it for 10 years. I still haven't seen anything like it. And I thought if anybody really looked into it seriously, all she's gotten is our series of heographic profiles by the New York Times in 2018, when she was elected to Congress and by the New Yorker, Benjamin Wallace Wells and some clowns at the daily beast that, that, that, uh, dispirits, but, um, if anyone really looked into it seriously, it's an incredibly interesting story. And that's why I've just tried to keep my teeth around it. Well, one of the things that the, well, I'll get there in a second because I think that this actually is bigger than Ilhan and I'd be curious to hear your, your views on that. I think one of the reasons it's so interesting is because it's so preposterous, right? And it's so foreign to us because, you know, we kind of assume when you get married, it's for all the right reasons and not for a green card or citizenship, et cetera. And then if you're going to go into a life of politics, look, I mean, you got to be kind of careful how you live your life because a lot of stuff can come back to haunt you in really disastrous ways. And I think we're seeing this all play out. So it's like this, you know, train rack and you can't really look away. And she keeps telling us we're, we're all crazy, but the information is there. When you think about what just went down with the feds and the raids and, by the way, she wasn't the only raid as I understand it, the feds got more warrants and they got the sister's cell phone. They got her cell phone. She said in the interview with Chris Hayes, they even took her daughter's cell phone from years ago. So they took a lot of electronics. It took some of her husband's notebooks. What do you think led them to the point that the judge was willing to sign off? - Well, I mean, that's really speculation, but I think they're looking at, they want to see communications among the family about whether they're coordinating to try to keep a false story straight. I just wanted to mention that, you know, in President Trump started talking about Omar and maybe an investigation of her last year or late last year. And because Somali fraud has been epidemic in the Twin Cities, and I have maintained an interest in 2016 before all this stuff blew up. I covered a terrorism trial involving three young Somali men who went to trial, who were charged with material assistance. They wanted to join ISIS and chop heads for Allah. There were nine defendants. In that case, six of them pleaded guilty. One of them was represented by Jean Brandel. That's the first time I saw her. So I know who she was. She pleaded her client guilty. Three of these young men went to trial, and I covered that trial in Minneapolis in May of 2016. And then more recently since early January 2022, there have been this wave of Somali fraud cases that have given rise to two or three fraud trials in Minneapolis Federal District Court. I covered the first two of those trials on a daily basis for power line. And so it's just become, you know-- - Is that feeding our future? - Yeah, feeding our future. And, you know, by my lights, Ilhan Omar is Somali fraud exhibit A, even though she's only in the mix in a way. I don't have any reason to think was criminal in the feeding our future case. She's definitely in the mix. And she's representative of what I would say, the word I would use about this whole series of frauds is how brazen they are going back to this fraudulent marriage to her brother. - Yeah, I think that that's what makes it so compelling and so interesting because of the brazenness of it. And, you know, and again, it starts with that. I mean, look, I've just said all along. I'm a financial reporter by background, so I look at the 30 million, and I'm like, wow. I mean, your accountant, like who doesn't notice that one, right? Your accountant's overstating your assets. And it's not like she had a lot of assets. She was somewhere in the vicinity of like 80 grand. And now all of a sudden, she's 30 million. And then, it's got to take her what, 10 months to correct the record. I mean, hello, you're in politics, lady. And on top of that, you get all the DSA people backing you. You'd think she'd be a little nervous about having a multi-million dollar net worth if nothing else because her peeps might not like it, right? I mean, the whole thing is just bizarre. And then to sit on it and not correct it and then just say, oopsie, Daisy, after the fact. Again, it's the brazenness. This idea that you can lie through your teeth and we're supposed to accept it because in the name of diversification and DEI, wow, isn't it great that somebody who's from Somalia is now in Congress and we're like, no, no, no. You got to play by the rules. And I think that's how most people feel, except for, I guess, those that are part of her contingent or part of the sort of cheer squad, if you would, literally the squad. So where do you think this goes? I mean, they're talking about the statutory limitations and you're a lawyer 30 plus years as a practicing attorney there in the Minneapolis area. Tell me from a legal perspective, what you think happens because, yeah, I mean, the marriage is done in over, right? You get like five years, six years maybe most. And that statute of limitations ends. So if they don't get her on that, does it go back to the father? And was the father who he said he was? Was that really his last name? I mean, how do they actually bring charges? Well, I would draw more here on my personal experience. I met with the ICE investigators in January of this year. I got a request. I think my text message to, if I would be willing to meet with them. And I showed up at a place we agreed on in between where they were staying and where I was living. And I sat down with them and they said, I assume you know why we want to talk to you. And I said, I actually thought it was because they wanted to congratulate me for my support of law enforcement during Operation Metro Surge, which we were still in the middle of in January of this year. But no, they said Ilhan Omar. And they had an open file and asked me questions that go to the point you alluded to in your question. I think at the time I met with them, they were focused on these immigration related issues and her father. And I really didn't know anything about that. I told them what I knew about the marriage. I asked them if they're looking at any of that. And they seemed very knowledgeable about all the stuff I'd written about. So, I mean, we talked about that. But they wanted help with the father aspect of it. And I've learned things since then. I've read her memoir since then, Ilhan Omar is memoir. She has a memoir called This Is What America Looks Like. She refers to her father. She describes her father in two words and educator. But in fact, he was a Soviet trained colonel in the Somali National Army. I really wonder if he. How he described himself when he saw it, you know refugees status or whatever whatever Admission status he got when he came to the United States They seem to be interested in that and they asked me for help and getting a document that Suggested that has real name with something like I'm going to forget this but nor Said Elmi Muhammad yeah, which would show the family relationships and I do think that that was his name. Well, that was what he went by on social media Nor was what he rent by some of the Facebook posts and in what according to To them, it's like a nickname or something like that. I can't you know that they're they're running It's just happens to be the same name as the husband exactly Exactly, you know, and this gets to a broader issue because it looks as though there were a lot of people that came in Attach themselves to other people's names, and so I'm thinking and look I don't know how far they can take this but you might be looking at tens of thousands of people if 36,000 people came in from Africa and the State Department in 08 decided to sample a small portion and found that 80% of them Did not have any kind of DNA family relationship to the people that they had attached themselves to this might have been one big Free for all and so you could have a whole lot of people there in Minneapolis specifically because we know about the community Minnesota and elsewhere in the country that might not have come here on the up and up that may have lied on their paperwork and said they were related to people that they weren't Well at this point, you know as You might think we're dealing with the children of the people who came in other than the 1990s and And there's been a wave. I think the Somali population of Minnesota is up to about a hundred thousand One of the biggest outsides Somalia in the world. So here we are Here we are indeed my thanks of course to Scott Johnson for that really enlightening interview I mean wow So what would happen to all the kids that came here? Well actually if you're born here, you know the rules, right? and they've tried to challenge this and they have not had success thus far But if you're born here, you are an American citizen. So anyone who came here Even under false pretenses, but had children here their children would get that US citizenship however all of those adults that came here all of those potential derivatives of those adults in other words somebody like and Ilhan Omar that came With her father regardless of whether she was 17 18 or 10 years old If he came here under false pretenses saying he was with another family when in fact he wasn't then that would make his Application void and null and thus her derivative citizenship non-existent So it is quite possible that Ilhan Omar is not a citizen It is also quite possible that if she has been recently applying for a passport Then she would be continuing this lie and this is why this case is so much bigger than Ilhan Omar herself I just saw in some of the comments and then cat crazy Sam you must have missed yesterday show because we went all through How it is alleged the Ilhan Omar family is the same family as the Saeed Elmi family the nurse Saeed Elmi family and it is believed that part of them went to the UK and part of them went to Arlington, Virginia and then eventually settling in The Minneapolis area. So there was this break and the father took two girls Ilhan and Sahra with him and then the rest of the family was over there in the UK So that is where we are somehow coming up with this allegation that Omar is not her name Because she may have her father may have just glummed on to somebody else who had three places Left okay, you know, I got my P3 opportunity and I can bring in every time Dick and Harry or Mohammed Mohammed and Mohammed and you're all coming in Until I don't have any more spots And I'll just say you're my brother. You're my sister. You're my sister-in-law. You're my uncle my aunt You see how that goes down and then the State Department eventually had to cancel the whole program because there was so much fraud But this is why when Mark Wayne Mullin and I played it and I'm gonna play it again because you're gonna listen hard when he says This is a big case and it's Rico. He's not kidding This is not Ilhan and her sister. This is something else entirely you guys. This is a biggie Let's just say if someone comes in and claims That fills out their paperwork illegally and they claim That they are this person and this is their background and then underneath that individual a lot of other people come in And I'm just saying have that across a whole bunch of cases that's out there Then that's that can be considered a rico case right because there was conspiracy that was to to see the American government And therefore everything else that came in with it Could then for be looked at as the same case and so so in any case like that and this isn't I mean we've had Multiple cases like that where people yeah where people come in and they lie and then we go we can go all the way back through Good thing about something like a case like that is when it is a rico case That the statute of limitations on things they don't they don't apply in most cases a few things they do but in most cases they don't Okay, so he's saying the statute of limitations don't apply I would also think you could probably go at it via the passport angle but What he's talking about is a lot bigger than just Ilhan Omar And possibly her sister It is not clear to me whether this sister is an American citizen or not she was an older sister So she would not have been able to get the derivative citizenship but again It's kind of all null and void if they came in under these false pretenses of you know Being connected to the Omar family now nobody has been able to find that original Omar family We're like two of them I guess that sponsored them So maybe you start looking into who else to the Omar sponsor if we can get that data together I mean this is just wild and so when you hear the president go on and on and on and on about Somalia I'm just saying look I don't know anything okay. I'm just I tend to have a good six cents right I tend to often be right sometimes early sometimes early but often right and If he's talking about Somalia like we see him talking about Somalia and you start hearing dhs talking about Rico cases then I just have to think that they're going to be going after a lot of people And they're going to say hey all of these people are null and void you came in prior to 2008 under this p3 program guess what you're going to have to prove via dna that you are actually related to the person You said you were related to otherwise we're sending you home. This is what he keeps telling france to do He keeps telling McCrone you get to get rid of these people you got to send them home you get deportations you need so Think about that when you hear him saying this Somalia and uh Real house okay It's got no government It's got no police protect all they do is have people running around shooting each other then she comes over here He's just say and she wants to tell us how to run America She wants to tell us how to run the United States of America and she'll say I have constitutional rights And she never heard the word concept she never saw that before see that she never saw that before that she say she has rights She's a disgrace to our country and it's amazing that She can get elected put Somalians vote for her you know Somalians vote for and most of them shouldn't be here Do you know they have like a 98% unemployment rate they don't work 98% It's a disgrace It's a disgrace and they've ruined the great state you know you have a The great state I remember Minnesota in the old days what a beautiful Want to beautiful with lakes all over the place and more lakes and a place I've ever seen So beautiful they they're destroying it probably maybe they've destroyed it And I only hope a Republican woman who happens to be very respected by everybody gets in because you will see a difference, but I will say this uh I hope they Treat her fairly But I think she's a very dishonest person Okay, he's talking about Ilhan there at the end But you see he's got all this animosity To Somalia and I think this is all connected back to his belief that people came here fraudulently for years so How do we know that well 36 000 Africans came into the country in the years preceding 2008 They came primarily from Somalia from Ethiopia and from Liberia and the state department learned that So many of them were taking different names because they were saying they were related to other people They had to actually shut down the whole family reunification Process because of all this fraud and I think the feds
know this because again I'm looking over my shoulder here on my left side. I'm looking at the warrant and they're they're using her original what is believed to be her original name which would be Neh Sayed Elmi. So they're just laying it right on out there. So are we going to see thousands of people being deported because of RICO charges. The State Department said they had a family reunification program in place called Priority 3, P3 and they had to get rid of it. I'm going to just make this a little bit bigger on my end so that I can read it alongside you. This is an archive from the State Department and they said that they had to get rid of it. It was primarily for Africans, Somalis, Ethiopians, Liberians. I told you that and they had so much fraud. They had so much fraud that when they were actually trying to confirm biological relationships to the extended family and the family reunification efforts, they found that fewer than 20% were actually related. So they decided well we can't really do this anymore. But they never went back and said anyone who came in falsely that isn't related to the family they claim to be related to. They never went back and said hey you're out. And now we're looking at a situation where possibly that could happen. So in terms of I saw in the questions and we went through this yesterday but you know it probably it's complicated so it's worth repeating just so everybody understands what the allegations are and why this could be much bigger than Ilhan Omar. President Bush stopped the Somalian refugee P3 program because again they were seeing all of this fraud. Why do we think that Ilhan Omar's family participated in that fraud? That's a big question right and I realized for some of you guys who were not here yesterday this kind of feels like it's coming out of thin air. She's got a sister that came over here with the father. So there's the father, the sister who has some kind of big operation in which she's getting 20 million bucks from USAID to help orphans or children or girls or something in Somalia. And she's proud of it too. She brags about all the money she's getting from the government for all that. This is the sister. She's the older sister so they both came over here together with the father. The only problem is Ilhan Omar writes in her book that she is the youngest of seven kids. So where are the other kids? I mean we got Ilhan and her sister and that would leave five vacancies okay? Five and we don't know where the other five I mean it's just a little strange in light of everything right again you know Ilhan a little more information might help right about now. So there's five vacancies and the vacancies according to some of this power line reporting and this was done by Scott whom you just saw as well as another guy named David Steinberg and they basically went through and sort of forensically pieced all of this together and what they learned through social media accounts was that Layla Mohamed and Ahmed Ahmed was the eventual husband all left for the UK. Now again we're still missing some siblings okay because she said seven and right now I'm looking at five so we've got two names that are still unaccounted for but that's where we are again power line blog.com it is a fascinating read I encourage you to check that out here's the family treat okay so again if you were here yesterday for this forgive me but I see some of our regulars are asking questions so I'm here I'm here to explain it all to the best of my ability again this is someone's reporting again over at power line but you look and you see there were these two families the Elmese and the Omar's and if we we do a zoom in here the Omar's take a look at this this is fascinating so the Omar's are some sort of family group that are in the United States apparently in Arlington Virginia and they are let's see do we have their names here just a family with Somalian heritage living in Virginia in 1995 and so somehow oh I guess they do have names that they're Ahmed Omar and they're Abdulani Omar and then you have the Elmese for the Elmese you've got a family that spent roughly four years living in this Kenyan refugee camp and they were looking for a way out a country to go to and according to this power line reporting there were at least one two three five kids okay so we're still missing seven because Ilhan tells us there were seven but you had Leila you had Mohammed you had Sohra remember Sohra we just saw her picture you had Ilhan and then you had Ahmed who is the alleged husband and so what this reporting suggests and again they're they're relying and Dave Steinberg did a lot on this they're relying effectively on a lot of social media accounts that look and connect these families and show how they had the same names I think it's really important to think about what Scott just told us earlier in the program what what Scott was saying was that Ilhan Omar never anticipated that she would have a career in politics so she wasn't living that squeaky clean life and so it's messy and because it's messy we have the social media records they've now been scrubbed clean but you know social media never really disappears and so he was able to get his hands on it and he has published so much of it but again going back to what we see here some of them left for the UK some of them left for the United States the thinking is that you could only get three slots in the US and so if you could only get three slots you took the two girls and himself and then everybody else went to the UK apparently and this is what you just heard from Scott Leila was older and she was raising Ahmed and at some point along the way they decided that Ahmed's lifestyle you think he described himself as a dandy on social media living in London they didn't like his lifestyle there they wanted to change his scenery they brought him to the US and they had him apparently marry in that Christian ceremony which is just bizarre for a Muslim woman to have the Christian ceremony she marries this guy Ilhan marries Ahmed Neur Saeed Elmi and it's alleged that Ahmed is the brother and then the links with which they go to cover this up I mean my so here's the brother okay I mean they're just covering it up and covering it up and covering it up even Alison right from Lindell TV I love this clip because it just really showcases how brazen Ilhan is she's in my estimation probably living a pretty big lie and when she's confronted about it like she just she fires back like in a very strange and spectacular way hey congresswoman Tom Homan said that you're under criminal investigation for immigration marriage fraud any comment on that I don't have a comment for that no you always say no one's about the law so I think you should be about the law I am not above the law well if there's some if there's a marriage fraud what can you just tell us straight up did you marry your brother absolutely not what are we dick listing the ass well then why are you married your brother absolutely not absolutely not that's disgusting nobody should be doing that why are you being criminally investigating I am not yes you are I am not well then Tom Homan's a liar or what he is thank you congresswoman okay so we know that she was being investigated Tom Homan did say that and now we just heard from Scott who told us the feds came out and met with him in January that tape is from like four weeks ago so she's trying to say no she's not under investigation she had to have known she was under investigation okay so again more lies more lies more lies and at some point like I'm just saying like she should have come clean and just said politics is not for me yeah I screwed up now maybe this would have gone away maybe she could have even tried to put it to bed as CNN suggested Jake Tapper suggested this the other day could she have put it to bed with the Biden administration instead she's clinging to what appeared increasingly to be lies and again the family for those of you cat crazy Sam asking this I think David Lorenzo did you have a question about this as well and peace in my mind is saying he missed yesterday's show I thought I didn't see it there anyway so here is this is one of the social media posts that power line blog put out saffron nor that's the sister remember that's her name that's what she goes by and she's with a man called nurse Said that doesn't sound like Omar that sounds like nurse Said and she writes I love my father besides being an awesome dad it turns out he's also a great political strategist and fundraiser and everyone knows to never ever mess with any of his children especially his daughters okay that's just a little weird right like a little bit of a weird post like do you say that on that's strange anyway last night's victory would not have been possible without you dad dad
and his name is Nursa Yid. Okay. So now you look at his picture and then like let's string it together because here he is again. Can you see this? Okay. Nursa Yid. There he is on Facebook. That looks like the same guy. Do you see the girl down at the bottom? Layla. So Layla, according to Scott, is the woman that raised Ahmed who would go on to Mary Ilhan Omar. So Layla, apparently used to go by a different name. Layla used to be Layla Elmi and the reason we know that is because the URL, can you guys see this one? Let me just, I'm going to go zoom in on this. Okay. Look at right above her picture, it says Layla, kill me. That's probably her married name. And then if you look above that at WW, it says HTTPS, colon, forward slash, forward slash, www.facebook.com, forward slash Layla.elmi.167. Okay. So yeah. On top of that, there's the marriage certificate, which does list Nursa Yid, Elmi as the father. And I blew it up. I know it's hard to see he got this from the UK. And I circled Nursa Yid Elmi. And then you can see it says father's name. I mean, I'm sorry, but there's a lot of circumstantial evidence here. Like this is just, and then this is Ahmed, whose name is Ahmed Elmi. So this is why everybody's like, okay, and this is why I think at this point, you know, the administration, maybe JD had the DNA evidence at that point, because you know, don't forget they've been get sifting through the garbage and the dumpsters. And he came out a few months ago. And so yeah, we know that she married her brother. And they were sort of trying to figure, well, what do we do about it now? And I think we're at the stage where they decided what they're going to do about it. And they're pursuing this rico case, which is massive. There's still the financial stuff, which we have to talk about at some point, the sister getting $20 million from USAID, the idea that the hubby's business is operating all over the world in Somalia, in Kenya, in South Africa where they're doing deals for solar panels, as well as Dubai. That is just really suspicious, but that's where Jeanine Piero is going to come in and conduct that investigation. I know it's a lot, okay? I know it's a lot, but it's worth understanding. It's worth understanding right now, too, because given the stakes of this election, let me just say, yeah, there's such an effort for some of these people, whether it's El Saeed or others that don't seem to have the best interests of the US at heart. And they want to play this major role in US politics. And you kind of just got to give yourself a pause and think about, well, what's really going on here? Don't forget Ilhan Omar was taken off the Foreign Affairs Committee because of her comments on Israel and trying to say it's all about the banjaments, right? These are people that have an affinity for Hamas, that have an affinity for Iran, that have an affinity for terror groups. And so that is a problem to have them in the US government. That's a real concern. And there's more where that came from, the whole idea being, and we saw a lot of Kuros have played to that sound before. She's the one who's from Ethiopia originally, and she's running four Congress out in one of the districts in Colorado. And she keeps saying, look, we need more people from the global south, getting into US politics to protect the interests of the global south. And it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you've got to protect the interests. Thank you very much. The United States of America, okay? It's all about the United States of America. Turkey day in the markets, right? Go make sure that you can go check out our portfolios. There are top top top picks here. But, you know, and we've actually got a big piece coming out on the election this week and how you think about it, strategize around it as an investor. So, so go check that out. But I would just say that gosh, you know, guys, this family thing is pretty crazy. And I think this is going to really implode. And I think that the Democrats that are out there backing her like Barack Obama are going to have a lot of egg on their face. I'm sort of surprised. He's willing to take those risks. But he must figure, you know, people are stupid. We can just keep, you know, we just keep telling them it's racist to say this. And, and you know, it's just a bunch of right-wing conspiracy theorists. And, you know, I'll tell you, Scott whom you just saw is no schmo. And he's had a 30-some odd year record as an attorney there in Minnesota. He, I believe his blog was also responsible for exposing some of that rather gait stuff back in the day. I'm just saying like he's a pretty smart guy. And as you heard him say, he has no ill will towards her. He just thinks the whole thing is bizarre, right? Like, it's just bizarre and same here. I'm like, you just, I don't, you can't lie like that if in fact she's lying. And we ought to know as Americans. And I don't think it's going to be over. And I don't think it's going to be over for all of the people in Minneapolis that may have come here under false pretenses. I think they're, they mean business. DHS means business. This administration means business and they get two more years. So wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, right? Anyway, thanks all for being here. I appreciate everything you do. before 2008, with the Bush administration previously suspending a family-reunification program after discovering widespread falsifications.
