Breaking Afternoon Updates with Ben Meiselas - 10/13/2026

A global escalation of conflict is unfolding across multiple regions, driven by deteriorating geopolitical dynamics and the perceived weakness of U.S. leadership under Donald Trump. In the Middle East, Iran has struck at least eight tankers in the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman within the past 48 hours, while Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group have exchanged devastating attacks on each other’s cities, including Sana’a and Riyadh. Saudi Arabia has disabled early warning systems for drones and ballistic threats, leaving civilians exposed, and has criminalized the filming of attacks, raising serious concerns about accountability and transparency. In Eastern Europe, Russia has targeted tankers in Bulgarian and Romanian waters, with NATO allies avoiding direct attribution to prevent triggering Article 5, while the U.S. has reportedly turned off missile warning systems for Ukraine, leaving it vulnerable to attacks. North Korea has conducted missile tests near Japan, and Iran is believed to have developed advanced drone and cruise missile capabilities, including Garin-4 and Garin-5 systems, which are now being deployed in combat. Trump’s leadership is criticized for violating sanctions laws through a diesel deal with Russia, undermining NATO commitments, and failing to protect allies. His public actions—such as posting content of animals mauling people and promoting discredited claims—signal a lack of seriousness and judgment. Analysts argue that this pattern of weak, inconsistent, and morally ambiguous leadership is contributing to a broader global instability, with regional wars escalating into a dangerous, multi-front crisis. The situation reflects a systemic decline in U.S. credibility and military effectiveness, with advanced technologies now being leveraged by non-Western powers to outmaneuver traditional defense strategies. This environment of distrust, misinformation, and strategic inaction threatens to spiral into a full-scale global conflict.

Welcome to Ben on Breaking News. I'm Ben Mycelis and this is your Breaking News. We've got war spreading across the world as a result of Donald Trump's weakness. We're going to talk about all of the developments in the past 24 hours. A lot of these developments have happened right before we went live. We're going to look at what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz, in and around the Strait of Hormuz, close to the Gulf of Oman as well. Iran has struck two tankers today right around the Strait of Hormuz. They struck six tankers in the past 24 to 48 hours, in addition to the two today. So that's about eight tankers in the past 48 hours or so. In the past 10 days, there have been close to 20 to 25 tankers that have been struck in the Strait of Hormuz and in the Gulf of Oman and the surrounding area. We'll talk about that. We'll talk about the massive. Escalation in the war right now between Saudi Arabia and Ansar Allah, the Houthis are earlier today, Saudi Arabia's PLC, the group that Saudi Arabia backs in Yemen struck hard in Saudi Arabia directly struck hard in Sana, the capital for Ansar Allah, the Houthis. They also struck other cities under the control of Ansar Allah. The Houthis responded by striking hard in Riyadh. Also striking in Dharam, striking Aramco facilities there. Saudi Arabia claimed it's just debris and it's not really major strikes that have taken place. There are major strikes. We have the video of what's taken place. And this follows what we saw this weekend when Ansar Allah struck the Riyadh King Khalid airport in Saudi Arabia. They struck back to back days, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4, killing at least 14 people. And as we've been reporting now for a few weeks, Saudi Arabia's defense minister turned off the notifications of incoming ballistics and incoming drones in order to cover up what's taking place. And so when people were at the airport in King Khalid in Riyadh or at the airport in Daman and other areas, they were not aware that they were being attacked. They were not aware that the ballistic missiles and drones were incoming when in the past they would at least get alerts when the ballistic missiles and drones were incoming. Now, Saudi Arabia says people were just getting annoyed by the alerts and it was keeping them up at night. So that's why we were not doing the alerts during an active war. Also, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of the Interior once again put out a notice that filming or taking photographs of any of the Ansar Allah Houthi strikes in Saudi Arabia. is a crime. And we've learned from the U.S. State Department, multiple U.S. citizens have been detained by Saudi Arabia for apparently taking photo and video of the Ansarala strikes in Saudi Arabia. Of course, no word from Donald Trump on that as he continues to cover up basically everything. Although Donald Trump has been posting photos all morning of people getting mauled by animals. Yeah, Donald Trump was posting the video of the person mauled to death by the tiger at that Yorkshire park. And he's posting other weird videos of people getting eaten by animals. In addition to making posts that Kid Rock loves him and Mike Tyson loves him and fake quotes to Denzel Washington. That's what the president of the United States is busy doing right now as he's heading out. Here's one in such post. I'm not going to show the video, but he's literally post death. Videos of animals mauling human beings. That's the president of the United States, who's an absolute psychopath, lunatic, sex predator, criminal, an incredibly weak and pathetic individual covering up child sex trafficking rings right now. Let's use moral clarity when we speak about this demented individual in the Oval Office. But war is spreading to more locations and escalating in other locations. This morning, we learned that two tankers were struck. In the Black Sea in the economic zone of Bulgaria. You see those arrows right there. You can see the location of Bulgaria. This follows strikes on tankers in the economic zone of Romania that we reported on in the past month or so. There were other strikes off the coast of Bulgaria, October 5th, October 6th as well. Bulgaria and Romania are members of NATO. They're very careful, in their posts, not to blame Russia, even though it's very clear these are Russian drones striking these tankers, a lot of the crew on these tankers. They're not Bulgarian flagged vessels. They're vessels. It's very confusing sometimes the way these tankers are flagged because sometimes they're flagged with decoy flags from other countries. But these tankers appear to potentially have some supplies of Ukraine, Ukrainian crew. I think there were some Azerbaijanis on this as well. There's 11 sailors who I think are still missing as of this recording on one of the tankers off the coast of Bulgaria. But Bulgaria is not saying it's Russia because I think they realize that the implication, if they admit that, which we all know, would be invocation Article 4, Article 5 of NATO. And I think one of the things that NATO recognizes is that the Trump regime would not honor Article 4 and Article 5. Article 4, I mean, Article 5 is the joint defense pact. Article 4 is the consultation. So we would expect at least Article 4 to be invoked, but that has not been invoked. And I think this is part of Russia kind of testing how far it can go with NATO. And also causing internal strife within NATO. We saw one of the NATO allied commanders for Europe. I did a video on this just before I went live. Admiral Grenkowicz, Alexis G. Grenkowicz, codename Grinch. He gave a speech at the Warsaw Poland Security Summit in the past 24 hours where he was like, here's what we're going to do to Russia. We're going to blunt. Then we're going to do this. Then we're going to, you know, and it's like, OK, well, shortly after that speech, Russia struck these tankers off the coast of Bulgaria. And it would seem to invoke the so-called theory of victory that the NATO Supreme Allied Commander was conveying in Warsaw, Poland. Now, he went to Warsaw, Poland, because our allies of the United States or former allies, whatever you want to call it, or NATO partners, whatever the name is at this point, because Trump attacks NATO. They are obviously very worried when they see Trump entering into unlawful diesel deals with Russia after the U.S. passed a sanctions act to bolster sanctions on Russia and countries that do business with Russia. Only for Trump to do a diesel deal with Russia for a tiny amount of diesel that won't actually make any difference in the global market because it's like an hour's worth of diesel in the overall global. Global market for diesel about a day or less than a day of diesel in the United States. And also, Russia doesn't have a surplus of diesel because Ukraine previously struck 51 percent of the Russian diesel refining capacity offline. So there have been lots of questions. Is Iran sending its diesel through the Caspian Sea or through land routes to Russia? And Russia is going to resell Iran. And Russia is going to resell the Iranian diesel to the United States or world market. Is that what Putin was speaking with Pozeshki and Iran's president when they were in Turkmenistan for the CIS summit? My dogs are wondering, too, if that's what they were speaking about. Then we'll talk about what's happening in North Korea right now. They have launched ballistic missile tests right by Japan. You have Kim Jong-un bragging about the nuclear arsenal that North Korea. You do have Ukraine striking in Russia as well earlier this week, hitting data centers like the Yandex data center in Vladimir. So we had actually seen a significant decrease in Russian bot activity after the Yandex facility was struck by Ukraine. And one of the things that Zelensky has said as well over the past 24 hours as Russia has hit hard in Ukraine. You have Putin striking hard in Kyiv, in Kharkiv and Odessa, Zaporizhia and many other cities, killing dozens and dozens of people throughout Ukraine. The United States would normally allow Ukraine to link up to the warning system in order to determine if ballistic missiles or cruise missiles were being fired at Ukraine. So there could be warning to the people in Ukraine. That warning. The warning system has not been functioning since Donald Trump announced the diesel deal with Putin. Now, the US officials are saying it's because of the warning system. the weather, which Ukraine doesn't believe at all. Ukraine is treading carefully here because they are trying to deal with other people in the Trump regime to try to get the warning system back online. And I think they know if they accuse Donald Trump of just turning the system off, which clearly it seems he did, that he's such a feeble, weak, sick, disgusting sex predator, vile piece of trash, that it may make him further engage in conduct that's even more harmful to Ukraine. But we're following that up and seeing what's happening there as well. So when I title this episode that Donald Trump is causing a world war, you can push back and you can say, don't be hyperbolic. I've got the Midas Touch Network. There isn't a world war taking place. And I would just say to you, okay, well, there are a lot of regional wars that are taking place throughout the world in basically every region. Now, I focused this introduction on the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia, Ukraine, but I could also do entire episodes, and you know I do, on what's going on in Central and South America, where the Trump regime has active combat troops in the region, working with Trump puppet dictators there. You have the Trump regime kidnapping independent prosecutors in South America who are out there prosecuting the high-level narco traffickers, while the Trump regime engages on a daily, it seems, basis in the war crimes by destroying films. fishing boats that don't seem to be connected to high level narco trafficking or narco trafficking at all, while the Trump regime puts in puppets who seem to be directly connected to some of the higher level awful conduct taking place and people who are prosecuting it and going after it are being disappeared by the Trump regime and the Trump dictators across South America. I could focus for hours on what's going on in Africa right now and various countries where the Trump regime basically involves these private mercenary groups, like Eric Prince's mercenary group, and they're out there basically with special forces or former special forces in the United States and other countries, basically trying to exploit mining activity in Africa, and suck up other resources in Africa. And so there are numerous proxy wars taking place all throughout Africa right now as well. So we could do whole episodes on that, but there's basically war everywhere. And then even here in North America, Donald Trump consistently threatens Canada with war. He consistently, and it's not hyperbolic, when you speak to people in Canada, like the Maple Mites. Shout out to all of you. When Trump says 51st state, that's not just trade war language. That's sovereignty language. That's war language. And I know that there are people go, that's not what it's just Trump. It's just his word. When the commander in chief talks about stealing the sovereignty of a nation, that's the language of invasion. That's the language that Putin uses for Ukraine. When Putin talks about I want a deal with Ukraine, he says, he means, and we know, we know what he says. We know what Lavrov says. They want all of Eastern Ukraine. Then they won't stop there. Then they'll probably go more West and more West. But what Putin says, we want to do a deal. All of Eastern Ukraine belongs to us. And then there's a deal. That's, that's how we view the theory of victory by Russia. Russia is that. And that's what they said. Otherwise, they're never making a deal. There's no other deal to be had. Now, the theory of doing a deal that Zelensky had and that others had, whether you believe this or not, is that if you face off Putin with strength, with a unified NATO, and Zelensky is able to make advances, not just on the front, but actually cause pain deeper into Russia. The theory of victory there. The theory of victory there is that eventually the people of Russia will demand that Putin do a deal with Zelensky and that there could be a deal through strength and that that's the only way. That's the way Zelensky and the non-U.S. NATO members view it. On the other hand, Putin views it. I want all of Eastern Ukraine. Putin claims that what's going on on the battlefield is productive, which it is objectively. That isn't. But we have to speak accurately with what's going on, though, right? Like, we, we have to sift through propaganda all around us, wherever it is. Like, to me, here's the objective facts. The objective fact is that Putin said that he would take Kiev and all of Ukraine in three days. We're five years in. So clearly that objective failed. I think that is what's called an undisputed fact. On the front, on the front, there's basically a stalemate and Ukraine. Ukraine's able to move up occasionally. Occasionally Russia advances on the front. But there's basically a standstill as you have this modern day trench warfare a la World War One. But you have drones and all autonomous technology and you have killing machines and an even deadlier kill zone than what you had, obviously, in World War One based on modern technology. So there's basically this stalemate. On the front line, what Russia has been able to do, and we shouldn't lie about, we shouldn't be like, oh, their capacity to make weapons has been destroyed. That's not true. We have to speak the truth. So we know what's happening here. Russia has developed some of the most cutting edge technology through this war that exists, period. It used the Iranian base Shahi drones and turned them into guerrillas. Garin 4s and Garin 5. Jet fuel drones, the Garin 4 and the Garin 5 are like hybrids. They're basically cruise missiles. Also, Russia has deals with North Korea. A lot of the dual use component parts in all of this Russian equipment comes from China. And also a lot of the semiconductor technology and a lot of the other critical tech actually comes from US big tech companies who basically put their stuff on the market and it's easy to disassemble and then reassemble into whether it's intentional, negligent, reckless. I'll let you be the judge of what that is. But the big tech in the US, their semiconductors, the advanced technology and chips, that's finding its way into all of these Russian weapons. But Russia's developing 36,000 Garins a year, whereas the US produces. It produces 2,000 Patriot interceptors a year. 36,000 Garins that do the striking versus 2,000 interceptors. And then the question is, does the US give those interceptors to allies? Is the Trump regime giving those interceptors to Saudi Arabia, to the UAE? I mean, we're not giving those to Zelensky. One of the issues Zelensky has is he's got no interceptors. He's got no interceptor license. Throughout the summer, Trump tapped Zelensky along, and said, we would get you interceptors or interceptor licenses. At the NATO summit in Ankara, the one where Donald Trump left with Natalie Harp hiding in the catering cart, and then went to the non-Air Force One airplane, Donald Trump, we see him. He's on video. And on video, Donald Trump says to Zelensky, I'm going to get you the interceptor licenses. That was critical for this autumn and winter. Donald Trump did not do that. That was what, July 9th? Was it around July 9th? July 4th, Donald Trump spoke with Putin for 90 minutes. What do you think Donald Trump and Putin were speaking about on America's 250th birthday? Well, I think you can see the plans all laid out. In my opinion, feel free to disagree. My opinions are protected by the First Amendment. Although if Donald Trump decided to sue me, I would just notice his deposition right away. And he's a scared little coward, and he would not sit for his deposition. We'll talk about that later in the show, because the BBC served him with the deposition notice. And surprise, surprise, Donald Trump is a coward, and he's afraid to sit for a deposition in a lawsuit that he filed. But I digress. And then going back, though, to the Trump-Putin July 4th call. Subsequently, you have Trump meeting with Zelensky saying, I'm going to get you interceptor licenses. That was a big deal for Ukraine. And then we have Donald Trump announcing the diesel deal with Putin after there are numerous laws, the 2022 U.S. End Russian Importation Act. How about that one? End Russian Importation of Diesel Act. Act. Importing diesel from Russia would seem to violate the 2022 End Russian Diesel Importation Act. There's also the 2017 CAATSA, C-A-A or C-A-T-S-A. It's a certification law that Trump signed during his first term. If you do any material deals with Russia, you've got to give Congress 30 days notice so they could determine if they approve or reject the deal you do with Russia. Trump violated that as well, but you have that deal. Now, heading into autumn, heading into winter, where are we? We have a stalemate on the front, yes, but we have Russia developing these new Garan 4s and Garan 5 drones and cruise missiles and the ballistics, which are very hard to intercept. Ukraine can't intercept Russian ballistics, struggles to intercept cruise, struggling with the Garan 4 drones. Ukraine went from a 90% interception rate of Russian Shahi drones to now an interception rate of 51%, and I think that's overstating it. Now, Iran likely has the Garan 4, Garan 5 technology as well that they're utilizing, in my opinion, and if we were to see an escalation in the catastrophic war with Iran, Iran now has enhanced capabilities. So, it's not just dumb with a B when Donald Trump is out there lying about, oh, the army of Iran is at the bottom of the sea. Iran is suffering. They're at 300% inflation. They're begging for a deal. It's not only dumb to say that Iran's about to surrender. What does Besson say? I'm going to give them a noogie. I'm going to give them a wedgie. No, he says they're going to cry uncle. How do you say cry uncle in Farsi? I mean, where do you like the bratty, bad kid from like some weird movie I watched in the early 1990s at summer camp? Cry uncle, man. You know, they do the fart noise with their head. Like, is that Besson? What are you, like a loser? What are you talking about? They're going to cry uncle? He said that on September 24th, they're going to cry uncle. Back in April, he said they were going to surrender and that the pipes in Iran were going to blow up because the blockade was so effective. The reality is, is that I believe the top advisor to Ayatollah Mojtad, Kaba Khomeini, Moshe Razai is his name, is not bluffing when he says, if Trump and Netanyahu escalate this catastrophic war against us, we have identified $2 trillion of U.S. and U.S.-affiliated infrastructure in the region that we will strike with our drones and ballistics and cruise missiles right away. We are prepared to strike these facilities. Data centers will cut the cables. Underneath the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf, we know where they're located. It's easy for us to cut the fiber optics and those cables, shut down businesses in the Middle East and throughout the world. We're prepared to do that. And if you want evidence that they've got the capabilities to do it, look at their ally on Serala, the Houthis, who don't have the same capacity as Iran has or anywhere near it, but they've got a lot of capacity. Warfare has changed. And the era of big aircraft carriers and expensive interceptors, each interceptor alone is about $4 million a pop. If you want to get that interceptor, $11 million a pop. So if you're shooting an Iranian or on Serala ballistic that costs $150,000 or $250,000, the drones cost $25,000 or $30,000. And if you're shooting a drone that costs $25,000 or $30,000, the scenes we've been seeing in Saudi Arabia, which I'll show for you in a little bit, where they're shooting three, four interceptors at the same time, do the math, $5 million each, $5, $10, $15, $20 million of our dollars, $20 million of our dollars going to try to stop an on Serala ballistic. But guess what? These on Serala ballistic missiles and some of these new drones as well, they don't have the capacity to do that. So if you're shooting a drone that costs $25,000 or $30,000 a pop, if you're shooting a drone that costs $25,000 or $30,000 a pop, they've upgraded where they can do a few things. One, cluster munitions. So as they're about to get hit, boom, cluster munitions, they spray the clusters and then it lights what it lands on, on fire. That's a new advent to the ballistic system. And then some of the new ballistics swerve in the air. They change direction. They used to go point A to point B. So if you had the, what would they call it? The iron dome or the, this, you would be able to locate it, target it, and then hit it. Now what happens is you launch one of your interceptors at one of these new ballistics. The new ballistic pool changes directions in the middle of the air. And look, some of the interceptors are still effective. They have a navigation, but it's going against basically two navigations. So it's hard to hit. But even if you hit it, you've now wasted $20 million. And what we actually see, Saudi Arabia is not able to hit them, not able to intercept them. We're seeing Ansar Allah have its way in Saudi Arabia. Now, Saudi Arabia is doing a massive freaking amount of damage in Sana'a right now, the capital of the Houthis and Ansar Allah. But Ansar Allah is answering. That right there, what I'm showing you, that's the scene right now in Yemen. That's the scene in Ansar Allah controlled areas over there as well. And I'll show you what it looks like in Saudi Arabia in a little bit as well. But the Aramco headquarters has been struck in Duran, Saudi Arabia. Riyadh is under attack as well in Saudi Arabia right now. And let me just show this video, Jeremy. This is the one in Iran from Fars, IRIB broadcast footage showcasing some of Iran's capabilities with their anti-ship cruise missiles, drone launches, and UAV overflights. I mean, I wake up every morning and I say, WTF? For real, what the F is happening? I wanted to be very specific and diligent in that first segment and not show a lot of videos or any videos at all because I wanted to just go piece by piece by piece by piece by piece with you, bringing the data, bringing the info, and then I'll layer in the receipts. Over here. So if you're just tuning in, go back to the first segment where I don't want to see any comments that are like, you said there's war all over the world and you're not just, I did literally 27 minutes on every aspect of what's taking place throughout the world in the past 24 hours. And as I stated, there are multiple regional wars all at once right now. So call it a world war or multiple regional. Wars, but we're seeing what happens when the United States is not just no longer a superpower, but when you have the United States as a deeply unserious nation, we are unserious. We are not serious people under the Trump regime, the same way Donald Trump and his companies and his organizations. Not. Not serious losers bankrupt. We would see over and over again, all flash, but no gas. Kind of true when you actually use the gas reference over, I'm not even sure if that's an expression, but, uh, all, and it's not even flash. Just go to his casinos. We're going to the biggest casinos. Michael Jackson's going to be here. No one's ever done it. We're going to do three casinos right next to each other. In Atlantic city. And we're going to take out so much debt, it's going to be amazing. And then people would warn, Hey, you know, doing three casinos right next to each other and taking on that much debt, you're going to cannibalize each other's casinos. And there's just not enough revenue out there to cover your debt. Shut up. I'm suing you whistleblowers and Trump would sue the whistleblowers and they were right. They were all right. Trump's casinos. We're going to do three casinos when bankrupt, not once, not twice, not three times, not four, like five times over and over and over. And look at all of his businesses. Look at his business right now. That's actually a publicly traded company. Okay. Where you have to actually do reporting Trump media failure. He truth social. It's his company that he uses to post presidential, whatever the messages he posts were just photos of, animals, mauling human beings. Like he's posting today. Failure, a failure for every quarter. We talk about a hundred million dollars, X, a hundred million dollars were lost this quarter X, a hundred million dollars were lost. They were right. Every quarter. It seems that we are reporting on that guy is a failure, but America under the Trump unserious. And then as I always say, could we start with being, Oh, and then we're deeply dangerous. We're unserious and dangerous. And that's Trump. Unserious and dangerous, a menace, a literal sex predator, right? I mean, sue me, sue me for saying that you are, you were found civilly liable, civilly liable for sex assault. So you are a sex predator. That's who you are separately. You've been found criminally liable in a business records case for dozens of felonies. You're a felon get undisputed fact. And I like when people were like, but there's no evidence in the Epstein file. He's been found civilly liable for sexual assault. The moment you want to normalize that and people don't talk to me. And then we can go deeper about all the allegations made about him in the Epstein files and the fact that he's covering up millions and millions and millions of records in the Epstein files. But he's found civilly liable in court with the jury, not a Trump fake court. The one that he is trying to give Lisa Cook after the Supreme court says you can't fire a governor on the federal board without process. Here's the process. It's not court, but you show up in the white house. I will appoint Kevin Hassett as your judge. You know, the guy who shows up on state regime media every time we do a new economic report and they're all really bad. And he's like, yeah, that's what we want, but we're really looking for 29,000 jobs created shows how strong our job market is. That's what it is. Yeah. Yeah. When we see 7.5% mortgage fixed mortgage 30 year, that's, that just shows how strong the demand is so high. You see, if you look at the demand in these words, if you look at the yield curve and how it curves over here by the demand, uh, uh, X, Y access, that's exactly where we want it to be. Dude, you're just a fraud, man. You're all bunch of fricking liars. That's going to be the judge. No, we're talking about real courts, real process, real procedure, not whatever the hell, you know, Donald Trump is. Uh, is, is, is, is doing, but look, here's what I've said before. I said, Trump has been found civilly liable in a real court jury, uh, evidence, a judge, right? There's the, there's the stuff. And in a case that Trump filed against the BBC saying they defamed him for the way they edited footage about the January 6th insurrection for a documentary that primarily ad aired in the UK. Trump says it defamed me because it made me seem like I was a part of the insurrection. The way you chopped up that video, I've been injured $10 billion. Okay. You've been injured 10 billion. Let me see your financials to show that you were injured, uh, for 10 billion. No, I'm not going to show it to you. You mean you're not going to show it to me. You sued for 10 billion. Show me your 10 billion losses. Nope. Not going to do it. Okay. Sit for a deposition. BBC served Donald Trump. The deposition was sketched. To take place this week. So the deposition was supposed to happen. I'm not showing I'm not going to be there. You can do my deposition. Trump's lawyer said, but we have to do it the third week of January, 2027 after discovery closes in the case. Like, do you think we're that stupid? No. So the BBC is going to the federal judge in the case that Donald Trump filed for $10 billion because Trump is a loser and an abuser and he abuses process. He abuses people and he demanded $10 billion from that court. And he's shocked, shocked. I tell you that the BBC is fighting back. Oh my gosh. So all he wants to do is straight of Hormuz delay, delay, delay, delay. Just pretend everything's good. Grift off it. Fundraise off it. It's all good. It's all good The BBC knows boom. Oh, you're a pathetic loser. You are a freaking failure of a human being. You are scared. You're scared. You're supposed to be the commander in chief. You're too scared to fly on air force one. By the way, I don't know if you saw this, but there was a story in the past two weeks where I think one of the head of secret service or someone was interviewed and they were like, we were upset. The story leaked about Donald Trump hiding in the, in the catering truck. Did you hear what they said? Because this isn't the first time they did it. was one of the stories in this Trump news cycle that just didn't get covered at all or enough just one day. Dude's been hiding in catering containers. Dude just goes and hides. You're the commander in chief. Remember when Donald Trump visited that Navy shipyard in Baltimore? What do you say to the sailors and people who are on the submarines? What do you say? I'm afraid to go on submarines. You're afraid to go on submarines? Could you imagine if Biden or Obama said, I'm afraid to go on a freaking, still supposed to be the commander in chief. What the hell are you, what the hell are you even doing here? But dude's afraid to have his deposition taken, to sit there for seven hours and answer questions. So this is his move. This is his move. He has a, he's doing campaigns. He's doing campaign rallies or whatever the hell you even want to call these things on those days. Okay. Then look, then look, idiot. Look, loser. Look, you sex predator, disgusting piece of trash. Look, don't file the lawsuit for $10 billion. If you're incapable of a war that we should never have been involved in in the first place, which you clearly are dumb with a B, you're dumb, dumb. You're an idiot. You're a loser. You don't know what you're doing. I don't think we should ever have been involved in this catastrophic war in the first place. Let me be very freaking clear about that. I believe Trump and Hegseth are war criminals who need to be tried in the Hague. And any person running for the democratic presidential nomination must guarantee us they will turn them over to the Hague immediately, immediately, and then destroy all this stupid Trump shit in Washington, DC. I mean, blow up, blow up the ballroom. I want it on live freaking TV. We all do. Demolish it. I want demolition day. And if a democratic candidate doesn't say they want that, you're not, you should not be the candidate. This is not a time. I don't want to hear political answers out of people running for the democratic nomination. Yes. No, that's it. What are you going to do? This is not the time to not have moral clarity about these things, but let's face it. Trump's dumb also. And he, look, he's a good con artist. He's a, he's a great fraudster. He sees people's weaknesses. He sees people's pain and knows how to exploit it because he is the source of their pain. He's like a virus. He sees the weakness that pop goes right there. That's what he does. He exploits people his whole life. He is an abuser. And I think people are seeing it throughout the world, but, but let's also say this. He doesn't even know the most basic, war tactics. And here we're spending our taxpayer dollars, one like slaughtering civilians and killing innocent people abroad as well as where a lot of our money's going to. And look, the Trump regime has slaughtered children and Manab and the mayor, the Trump regime gives all this money to the Netanyahu regime for the genocide. I can go on and on and on, but also they're spending their money on big battleships. Trump, Trump grade. Nuclear battleships. Okay. Well that's stupid. One Garen drone knocks out the battleship. Boom. See you later. 9 billion, $12 billion down the drain. Why would we be building this big clunky military? It's a waste of money. And then the military tactics are just the worst. Iran was very easily able to out, easily able to outmaneuver Trump and that CENTCOM guy, Brad Cooper, Admiral Cooper, who's like the worst. They were very able to outmaneuver. I mean, the U S bases in the region were all exposed. They were right there, right next to Iran. You may want to open up a map, Donald, and you may find out where Iran is on the map, where Saudi Arabia, where is the Strait of Hormuz? Where are these countries? How the U S has all of its infrastructure just sitting out there. That's easy to strike by Iran. You may want, you may also be shocked, shocked. I tell you to learn that there's actually another water passageway other than the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman and Arabian sea. It's called the Caspian sea. You may want to look at it and you may want to see where Iran is relative to the Caspian sea, where Russia is relative to the Caspian sea. And Oh, wait, maybe Iran's able to move some of its diesel and oil to Russia that way. Maybe if you want to look at where Turkmenistan is on a map and where Russia is on a map or where some of these other countries are, you may want to say, Oh, wait a minute. Can Iran send some of their oil by trucks? Maybe you may want to see some of the meetings taking place between Iran and Afghanistan and say, just maybe that's a pathway for Iran to get its oil to China. Did you think about that? Or you're so fixated on claiming that you control the Strait of Hormuz. Now we know Trump and Netanyahu, I think they're in a mode right now where both of them want to, for the same type of reasons with elections approaching, I think they both been on a little bit of wait and see mode of what's happening. Trump still believed this economic blockade was going to be effective and it's not. Iran has survived. It's a thousand plus year old civilization, but it's been able to survive massive sanctions for the past three to four decades. They'll be able to make it through the election right now, or they'll be able to make it through a lot longer than, significantly longer than that. But I think what they both want to do and push back if you think I'm wrong right here, Trump and Netanyahu, I think they now both want some sort of catastrophic war. I mean, they want it to escalate because they want that to now have some massive national security moment for both of their elections. I think that's what they're looking for. I think they've tried it in separate ways. I think Iran has been careful in how it's climbed the escalation ladder and it's focusing on these tankers and it didn't bite some of the bait that went its way in order to strike certain areas. But if this war resumes, there's going to be massive escalation immediately. It's not going to be like the last time because any type of escalation by the US with strikes inside Iran or whatever, Iran is ready to go. And they're emboldened. They're not weakened. That's the thing. And it's like, how do you go through this process over the past eight months, nine months almost, right? And come out with the conclusion that basically what we did originally was effective. No, Iran has improved its capabilities and just look, hello, what Ansar Allah and the Houthis are doing to Saudi Arabia. It's the same thing. It's the same thing. It's the same thing. I mean, it's the same thing. It's the same thing. Yes, Saudi Arabia is hitting Sanaa hard. It's hitting it hard. But Ansar Allah is returning fire and hitting Saudi Arabia hard right now. Can we show the footage from today's Saudi Arabia strikes on the Houthi port infrastructure there, Jeremy, if we've got it? I'll show you over here as Iran announced more oil tankers that either have hit naval mines in the rate of Hormuz or have been struck. Let me show you this video over here. If we got it, let's play it. Separately, here's footage from another oil tanker that Iran targeted. The sky's on fire. Here, play this clip. Here's yet another tanker, the Petrodolphin, that was struck by Iran. Let's play it. That's just the reality of what's happened. I mean, again, as I said before, all I'm here trying to do right now is, deliver the facts to all of us. And again, whether you like it or don't like it, this is just the sad reality of what's taking place right now. Let me show you this right over here. Can we show moments, the Russian missile strike on the Peshikon region near Kharkiv? Just show the first, near Kharkiv. Let's show this, the strikes last night by Russia and Ukraine. Let's play it. I'm not sure what happened there. I'll show you another angle of it. And let me show you here. This is Trump on the Ukraine war. Bottom line, it's all gonna work out. This is, the message, sadly, of the commander in chief, it's all just going to work. It's all going to work out. Everything just, just, it's all going to work out. Well, we'll see. They're both, they're both a little bit off. But look, you know what? Bottom line, it's going to all work out. You know why? It always does. What a stupid effing thing to say. In a way, it always does. That's why. Like, why do we have an idiot? I'm, I'm truly, why do we have a demented lunatic psychopath there? Like, what, what are, what are we, Katie Zakaria, QAnon princess behind him? Q drop 764. He drank his water. Three times. I was wondering, was that Q drop 6, 9, 4, 3.2. Did you see the part? She's been saying she's a lawyer. She's, she's likely not a lawyer. Folks, the hell is going on. And then she was, I mean, I'll show you the disastrous press conference, but when she was, she was out there with Donald Trump, the press asked him, you said in the announcement that your new press secretary is a lawyer. So what state did she get her law degree from? Donald? Listen to what he says. Let's play. It's not funny because it's so ridiculous, but you watch even Trump was like, did you see him for a second? He, I mean, sometimes, you know, it's gallows humor, you know, that you just gotta look at this stuff and he looked and he was like the, did you say, well, she was saying China, but here's the thing. Was there any vetting? Did anybody look, this is the presidency and one of the things that Trump has done, or I should say, Putin has done, or what both have done to the US. Presidency is that, you know, when I saw it was, it was somebody who asked Abdul else, I had the question, I think it was a guy from news nation who said, you know, why should Rogers denounce or respond to Trump if you're not going to respond to Hassan, whatever the guy's name is, the podcaster and Dr. Abdul al-Sayed is like, you, you, you don't. Don't see the difference between a podcaster from California who doesn't dictate any policy, who has guests on his show versus literally the most powerful person should have been in the world. But I don't think Trump is anymore. I don't think the US president, but you get the, you don't see it. But when I heard that, I thought to myself, you know, what Trump has done with corporate media with everybody is all of the mush. It's just words don't matter. Nothing matters. And so it creates the scene situation where almost everybody feels like reality is a simulation. And I can get deeply philosophical on simulacra and points like this, but I won't bore you with it. But it basically mutates the world into a psychopathic simulation because nothing has any meaning or manners when the presidency is so. Demented and deranged and psychotic. It all trickles down and out and it's in, and it encapsulates everything. And I, I'll say this too, you know, especially as you, you know, you got the major league baseball playoffs or you name your sports team, you could have the best team, but if your quarterback or your pitcher would not even cut it on their middle school team, and you put that person on your major league team. Or your NFL team, you're going to lose. You can have the best surrounding everything. Trump has the worst surrounding everything. He's got a nice stadium, the United States of America, but he's putting out the worst team in the night in what we was, what we once thought was the most powerful nation. And he's destroyed it. He's destroyed it. All right. Go check out WTF America. That's our book. Pre-order it now. Comes out next week. Get the hardcover, but get it now. So it arrives next. Now's the time to do the order. Please support our show and let them know that Midas Touch sent you. I'm Ben Mycelis. This is your Breaking News. Before the break, I showed you the impromptu press conference outside of the White House where Katie Zakaria was asked which state of the United States she was a member of. The press conference was held by the White House. in every topic and reach out to the experts. 90 minutes is the execution of that. But this is the part where you got to step up. You got me telling you that I got my law degree at Georgetown and I passed the California bar exam and I'm licensed and telling you my bar number. It's not a secret. You can search me on the Cal Bar website. You can see when I was licensed. That part, not the complicated part. But just think about that. I mean, we expect this regime to be engaged in a multi-pronged geopolitical war where they can't even vet the press secretary. And understand that maybe she's a Chinese lawyer, but I'll give. I studied for a summer for about four and a half, five weeks in Shanghai. So I also know, and the program that I did in law school sent 50 American students from the United States, 50 European students from different countries and 50 Chinese students. And it was the Kenneth Wang School of Law in Suzhou. And I think you would say it's Suzhou Tashé. And it was, by the way, I was proud to represent the United States. I believed in our justice system there. So I viewed it as an incredible thing to share. Yeah. But I guess the reason I'm even telling you this is that I don't believe she got a Chinese law degree. And what, what did she speak? Does she speak Mandarin? Does she speak Cantonese? What, what degree did she get in China? By the way, but this is a, but this is a lady who in 2022 was posting Michelle Obama has a penis. That's what she would post. Barack Obama's gay. Michelle Obama's got a penis. Vladimir Putin is working to rid the world of all of these pedos and that he's out there working to get the deep state. These are posts that she's made. She was very specific on Q drops, QAnon. Oh, I was wondering about Q drop six, nine, four. And when Donald Trump took three sips of his water, was he doing Q? Drop? Was he doing Q drop six, nine, four? Jeremy, how long did I was on fire on that part? I was talking about China. I was talking about Suzhou. Was I gone for like a long time or 30 seconds? 20 seconds. I was gone. I wasn't even possible. That was the best part of the show. Those 20, those were the greatest 20 seconds. Everybody will, those, those were the single greatest 20 seconds that anybody's ever seen. How did that happen? Anyway, I, I, I, I won't, I won't rehash those 20 seconds. I guess you couldn't interrupt the flow. I was, it was a, any event, uh, Donald Trump was asked outside of the white house as he, by the way, he's heading to Alaska. Republicans are losing in Alaska right now. Trump was asked in your view, Russia has not broken the ceasefire. Here's what Donald Trump had to say about that. Let's play. Russia has not broken the ceasefire. I'll let you know about that later, but, uh, they're hitting each other, but it'll all come to an end. They're hitting each other. It'll all come to an, you, you just wait and see, you just wait and see everybody question. What gives you such confidence that Putin wants the war to end more than Zelensky? Let's play this clip. And, and what gives you such confidence that Putin wants the war to end more than Zelensky? Only in daily. That's what my whole life is deals. I think Putin wants it properly. I think they both want it to end. You know, honestly, they both want it to end and they don't know how to get to that point. There's a lot of hatred. You promised in 24 hours, you had magic words to figure it out. Maybe it was a red flag. Trump voters. When somebody tells you that they've got magic words, I've got magic words for you. I mean, now he's so stupid. Come on, stop it. Stop it. Talking about magic words. He said he would end the war in 24 hours after the election. Also your electricity bills would be cut in half. Also no more never ending wars. Also gas prices would be $2 a gallon. Also groceries would be super affordable. Also everything would be great. You'd be able to afford a home. Those are all the promises. And I know the problem. As they don't want to do a deal. October 13th, 2026, Trump's diagnosis. They don't want to do a deal. You know, it'd be like a doctor who sees a patient who's sick and says, you're good. You're good. You're not good. And then two years later, as the patient is sicker and sicker and sicker, and on the verge of something really bad, the doctor says, I think you're sick. I think the issue is you're sick. Genius. Genius. Oh, that's the issue. The issue about the war, freaking bingo. You're at war. Oh, that there's a war. Oh, and when there's a war, they're fighting. They're fighting. And Russia wants all of Eastern Ukraine and invaded. And Ukraine doesn't want to give their land to Russia because they say it's their land. What? Did you all realize that that's what was happening here? Holy crap. Wait a minute. If we go and attack Iran, and blow up elementary schools and sports halls, and kill their kids and their children, they're going to fight back? What the hell? And they're not going to want Iran or Tehran to look like Gaza? What? They don't want Trump and Netanyahu, genocidal maniacs? They don't? But don't you see Venezuela? I mean, come on, folks. I know you all do it. What are we talking about here? Let's be critical thinkers. Let's stop this bullshit. Because everything I've said thus far on the show, and I will say throughout this show, and I'll go look in the chat, have I said one thing that's actually like, a political point? I don't think I've said anything here that is deeply partisan in any sense. I'm just observing certain types of behavior. Look at this behavior. Trump is asked about the war in Iran by a Middle Eastern reporter who cares about the topic of Iran. Whether you're a Middle Eastern reporter or not, seems like a topic we should care about, right? And Donald Trump goes to the reporter who's asking him the question. He does some sort of dolphin-like maneuver. Why are you doing the freaking dolphin? What are you doing? Oh, you're going to probably ask me questions about Iran. Yeah. I mean, a lot of people should ask you. We should ask you who the hell this Katie Zakaria, Chinese fake lawyer, whatever the hell it is. We want to ask you that. We want to ask you about you lying about ceasefires. We'd like to ask you that too. But yeah, we want to know what the hell's happening. Two tankers have been hit today. Six tankers were hit yesterday. Seems like a topic of interest, worthy of discussion or not. Watch what he does over here. Watch this. Let's play it. But they're striking tankers every damn day in these straight of whore moves. And the Gulf of Oman. i mean could you i mean just think about it imagine i don't want to imagine because i know the consequences but i'll play the hypothetical my wife asks me hey ben um are you can we want to go grab dinner over here what should we do this evening and i go what what what if i was on the street and you recognize me and you ask me a question and yeah you're all waving back now and it's an interactive show and you said hey ben you know people recognize me from time to time as i'm walking around uh wherever i'm walking really not that many places i just go to one panera all the time but that's basically that's basically the extent of where i go um and i just started doing this in your face you'd be like yo you are a weirdo like you are a weird human stop the dolphin like maneuver and the stakes couldn't be higher right now the stakes could not be higher right now throughout the world and then he goes and he starts posting the stuff about people getting mauled by animals like he's a crazy he's a crazy people i'll just show you over here do we have do we have uh zakaria just just don't show the clip of her leaving when she ends the press conference just show the one where she goes zakaria as we are in the middle of the midterm blitz with energy and excitement we've never seen before let's play it good morning i am so honored to work for president trump and the american people as the new white house press secretary i want to thank president trump for his trust that he has placed in me i have wanted to work for him for a very long then i'll show you the other the other clip of that one there's that's divided into no that was good that's what i wanted to show that's what i wanted to show show the other one that was it show the other one from that there's two that are labeled i'm looking forward to working with each other and i'm going to show you the other one from that there's two that are labeled each of you as well especially as we are in the middle of the midterm blitz with energy and excitement never seen before in the history of midterms thanks to president trump just look no further than last night in youngstown ohio where president trump delivered another blockbuster rally out on the trail the arena was overflowing with enthusiasm as thousands came out to support president trump as well as special guest jake paul and football legend john gruden i should have told the editor i should have done this to you jeremy i should have done that to you and then we'll just see see your reaction to that maybe that's how i'll i'll do staff meetings like this okay oh let's see what what happened at that ohio uh at youngstown oh donald trump was telling the mega republican senator mail what an amazing ass he has what a firm what a firm beautiful ass he had that's what donald trump told the crowd i look at this guy and i don't really do this on you have an amazing ass he says and have you seen his hands this guy's got freaking what can you do with those hands but i'm standing over here and i don't do this with men very often i started examining his body because i didn't know he was a great athlete and i looked and i watched up and down i looked at his ass and i looked at the whole and then i looked at his hands look at his hands he's got these like claws and i got it you are a great athlete i didn't okay there's somebody in the comments wow ben was exaggerating what he just said yeah we we we first off with all of this man and i saw your comment as i'm this is really live exaggerate the president of the united states the play play the clip again let's see how much of an exaggeration that was play the clip one more time but i'm standing over here and i don't do this with men very often i started examining his body because i didn't know he was a great athlete and i looked and i watched up and down and i was like oh my god he's got a great athlete and i looked at his ass and i looked at the whole and then i looked at his hands look at his hands he's got these like claws and i got it you are a great athlete i didn't or how about the jawline let's play the other one do the jawline look at that jawline i'm telling you i never saw that i never studied him and now i study him i say why was he such a good football look at that jawline he's tough as hell you know it's interesting i just you know i i i shouldn't i i'm not i i appreciate the criticism i will accept it as constructive but you know sometimes the criticism is like bro all hell isn't breaking loose okay well give me you give me the word you you give me the word where there is war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war and there is a war death destruction on a massive scale every day and it gets worse every day look maybe you who thinks that that's hyperbolic maybe where you live maybe maybe you're privileged i don't know maybe you're able to weather this better than most of us maybe you're good and i guess good for you but the world is on fire right now people are suffering right now people are being psychologically tortured by this trump regime and people are actually being tortured as a result of the regime not just psychological which is actual but also physical is the other word that i should you know that i should use and so when you're like well he didn't specifically say that the ass was was wonderful you're exaggerating he said that you've got a great ass okay that's where we're gonna go there maybe we should stop and ask ourselves isn't it freaking deranged that we have apparently a fake chinese lawyer press secretary who is scared to do a press brief while we're involved in catastrophic wars with tankers getting shot every day and as a result of this disgusting behavior by trump we are having sex trafficking rings covered up with the epstein files which we now go to war to cover maybe that's what you should be asking maybe that's what you should be asking maybe that's what you should be asking maybe that's what you should be focused on versus trying to parse the word firm ass versus great ass maybe that you know and and there's a broader issue that normalizes his behavior i am sorry the the word did not suit your specific definition of commenting on asses by the president because so many presidents would go and speak about asses that was very remember the obama ass joke or the clinton ass joke or biden would go around right biden did it too right but you got a great ass great ass great at right everyone's talking about this is what presidents do it's kind of one of the things you take care that the ass is faithfully executed right that's what's in the constitution so i apologize for just the wrong word that didn't meet your fancy right there and by the way i always do want to talk about on these episodes a topic that often gets overlooked as well which is climate change because when donald trump goes and does these deranged events and speeches one of the things he also talks about too is he's like china they don't actually do wind they sell their wind to everybody else but they don't actually have wind farm they have the biggest i don't know what you're talking about of course of course they do so what world are you what world are you talking about right over you know over here and it is real and go and look what's happening across the world right now so i want to talk about this as well um which is uh the following ipcc is under pressure to delay publication of key global climate report the ar7 report was scheduled for 2028 in time for the cop the conference of parties 33 summit but some petro states and major developing countries want to postpone it i wonder if that's in concert with the trump regime the guardian has previously uncovered evidence of involvement in the ipcc's assessment of representatives of oil interests under control of the kingdom of saudi arabia despite these flaws the ipcc is the most authoritative global body on climate science and many experts say delaying its input to the cop talks would weaken the global response to the climate crisis at a time when adverse geopolitics already threatens progress on emissions the u.s is leading attacks on climate action but far right populist politicians across europe also want to water down the eu's regulations and in latin america a tide of right-wing populism particularly Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina threatens the same. In other words, these Trump proxy groups are the ones involved in this attack. And you think about that, I think about the commodities and trading enforcement. Did you see this story from earlier that the Trump regime ordered its Commodities and Futures Trading Commission to not investigate market manipulation around the catastrophic war in Iran? They're destroying institutions. And look, folks, you may find these institutions boring. You may find they're easy to attack because actually doing deals and doing compromise always leaves things to be desired for. It always leaves sides wanting more or less. That's the nature of compromise. And bringing groups of people together. So it's easy to attack, but we actually need to build and we need to focus on things that are existential threats to our existence on this planet. I mean, the Trump regime psychos can claim the book of Isaiah commands them to send young people to Iran. And they're not going to send young people to Iran. They're going to send young people to war the way, send me, send me, send, I've got the word. Jesus told me that you need to be sent to slaughter children in Manab and Lamar. No, that's not what Jesus told you. Whether you're religious or not religious, that's not in, that's not how we should conduct or conform our behavior. But these sick zealots, these real sick people who want to do public executions, these sick people who go around with slurs about transgender people, and it's always on their mind, you know, to attack transgender communities. Who wakes up? I mean, just think about waking up and with everything going on in the world, these psychos are like, you know what we're going to do today? You know, I'm going to spend my day. I'm going to spend my day bullying the person who's probably already got a pretty tough life based on being discriminated. I'm going to bully them more and I'm going to mock their appearance and the way they look. And then I'm going to go to sleep. And I'm going to do it again. No, you're just, just that you're just a bad thing. You're just a bad people. And so much of what I try to talk about and convey in WTF America is when we get lost in the gamification of politics, when we get lost in who's up or who's down or who's winning or who's losing, or we've got to win, we neglect the why. And the why should be guided by real values and principles and not some transactional winning for the people. The point of winning. Why are we in this fight? There's more philosophical questions. Why are we fighting? Why are we here? What's the point of this all? Why are we sharing this planet with each other? How do we want to share this planet with each other? And these are not weak things to talk about. This is what should be talked about on the news. When you talk about it as a game and who can command the most attention for being outrageous, when your politics looks like an episode of jackass and whoever, whoever portrays themselves as the biggest jackass in a dystopian reality show wins the prize, you get stuck with a dystopian reality show presidency where we're all non-consensual extras. That should not be our politics, regardless of what political party you support or don't support. We should have a government that fights for us, not fights us, not takes from us, not steals from us. And then they want to divide us with all of their bigotry and their hate. And their disgusting behavior, guard ourselves from it. That's what I want the enduring legacy of this network to be, to have inspired other independent media to send this message out, but to remember that this politics, the purpose of all of this is bigger than just the gamification of how corporate news has done their access journalism. It's why they don't want us on their networks to promote this book. To be blunt, I did not want to be on their networks to promote this book, but the publisher Hachette is great. And they wanted me to do some of it to be clear. There's, you know, I think my brother is going to be doing a few appearances. Um, but not, but not, but you know, not on CNN or some of these other networks that said, Nope, we can't do it. So those who are allowing Brett and us to do it, you know, I guess they're allowing us, but most aren't. So I'll be very specific. It's not everybody, just, just, just most. So I don't, I don't upset anybody with my, um, my, my words, uh, and, and miss an overstated here. Here's the page. Here's the book WTF America, the way out of this hell and back to democracy. Um, go get your copy right now. Um, the ebook, the hardcover, get the audio as well. I think for the, for the list, the first it's based on hardcover and ebook. Um, so let's show that we can do this. This together. It's dedicated to you as the community. Let's do it. Let's get the message out. Let's keep on growing this platform. There you have it. There you have it. Thanks everybody for watching. I've enjoyed spending. I've enjoyed spending this time with you. It's been wonderful shout out. My just mighty it's been on breaking news. Thanks everybody.
